[0:10] Speaker 1: You're listening to Amma Mia podcast. Mama Mia acknowledges the
[0:15] Speaker 1: traditional owners of land and waters that this podcast is
[0:18] Speaker 1: recorded on Hi friends. Lee here Now, obviously I'm normally
[0:22] Speaker 1: talking about shoes and bags, but not. A recent episode
[0:25] Speaker 1: of You Beauty, Kelly brought the most game changing beauty bite.
[0:30] Speaker 1: I immediately ran out and did it. Well, went there.
[0:33] Speaker 1: You're gonna have to listen to know what it is.
[0:35] Speaker 1: Sorry for the clickbait, but you want to know. But
[0:37] Speaker 1: you want to know. It's a public service announcement to us.
[0:39] Speaker 1: All makeup is my therapy love. I'm obsessed and I
[0:45] Speaker 1: don't even feel jailty a body. Hello and welcome to
[0:49] Speaker 1: You Beauty, the podcast for Your Face. I'm Lee Campbell
[0:52] Speaker 1: and I'm Kelly McCarran and it is another question and
[0:55] Speaker 1: answer episode, our second favorite. No, I shouldn't say no.
[0:58] Speaker 1: We do love these I love being a little bit
[1:01] Speaker 1: silly with them. Sometimes I feel like you make me
[1:04] Speaker 1: do all the heavy lifting. Only joke I do, though,
[1:07] Speaker 1: because I come in with the sillies. Yes, you do
[1:09] Speaker 1: answer to UBI questions, so if you want to ask one,
[1:12] Speaker 1: there is a myriad of ways. Our email is You
[1:15] Speaker 1: Beauty Momama dot com, dot you boom. I don't know why.
[1:18] Speaker 1: I can't remember.
[1:19] Speaker 2: It's been seven years and some weeks. We still Goingong bing.
[1:23] Speaker 1: Bong dms on Instagram, jump in the U Beauty community,
[1:26] Speaker 1: of which there's eighty five thousand people in there helping
[1:28] Speaker 1: each other with beauty stuff.
[1:30] Speaker 2: But we love answering your questions. And the thing is,
[1:32] Speaker 2: no question is silly. If you're thinking it, someone else
[1:35] Speaker 2: would be as well.
[1:36] Speaker 1: I agree, And if we don't like it, we just
[1:38] Speaker 1: announcewer it. No, that's not true.
[1:39] Speaker 2: It is if it's something as well that we've answered
[1:42] Speaker 2: a million times. When I'm going to but we might
[1:44] Speaker 2: point you in the direction of the pod.
[1:46] Speaker 1: Yes. I often do that in my DMS. It's like,
[1:48] Speaker 1: here's something I prepared earlier. I couldn't help, but wonder
[1:51] Speaker 1: ask me anything. You ask many questions. So to kick
[1:56] Speaker 1: us off today, Nicole has asked question, do you think
[1:59] Speaker 1: it's appropriate to reapply your lipstick at your desk at
[2:02] Speaker 1: work with a little handheld mirror or do I look
[2:05] Speaker 1: totally vain and high maintenance. I work in an open plan,
[2:08] Speaker 1: pretty standard office. It's not the Mum of Me office though,
[2:11] Speaker 1: where I'm sure anything goes that is putting it lightly, Kelly,
[2:15] Speaker 1: what do you think?
[2:16] Speaker 2: Well, I just thought, like my initial reaction is quite
[2:19] Speaker 2: cranky at anyone that would judge her for anything, and.
[2:22] Speaker 1: I hate that she feels self conscious about that.
[2:24] Speaker 2: Do whatever you want at your desk, bar like, don't
[2:27] Speaker 2: do anything illegal or masturbate.
[2:29] Speaker 1: I lolled when I saw that in the school.
[2:31] Speaker 2: Well, I'm like, don't masturbate at your desk because or
[2:35] Speaker 2: even like at work in general, like in the bathrooms,
[2:38] Speaker 2: not some people need to.
[2:39] Speaker 1: Maybe they could go down to their car if they
[2:41] Speaker 1: park their car.
[2:41] Speaker 2: Yes, okay, anyway, don't do that. But tell anyone who
[2:46] Speaker 2: says anything to you that they might want to check
[2:47] Speaker 2: their own reflection. And after they do and say, oh,
[2:49] Speaker 2: there wasn't anything, you go, oops, my bad. I guess
[2:52] Speaker 2: that's just your face. Oh wow, I like that comes
[2:54] Speaker 2: straight in swooping in with a.
[2:55] Speaker 1: Snark, Nicole. I totally understand you being self conscious about this.
[3:01] Speaker 1: I kind of get it, but you're right. I've only
[3:04] Speaker 1: ever worked in very female, heavy creative officers where lially,
[3:10] Speaker 1: if there is a pilot, if someone was masturbating at
[3:12] Speaker 1: their desk, you'd be like, that is for an article. Okay,
[3:15] Speaker 1: well not quite, but you do want people's computers and
[3:19] Speaker 1: there's still does on them, and then there's still do deliveries.
[3:22] Speaker 1: But most places don't work like that. Look, I think
[3:26] Speaker 1: that you should own it. I think you look confident
[3:28] Speaker 1: and self assured if you just get it out, top
[3:30] Speaker 1: it up and put it away. I think it's beautiful.
[3:32] Speaker 1: I love maching women do their lipstick. Yeah it. I
[3:35] Speaker 1: just think let's normalize it. Yeah, and got there somehow.
[3:38] Speaker 2: You've written that you get it because it's like people
[3:41] Speaker 2: doing it on the bus, but I don't.
[3:43] Speaker 1: I disagree. No, That's what I was going to say,
[3:45] Speaker 1: is like I feel like everyone has a line. Like
[3:46] Speaker 1: when I used to catch the bus when I was
[3:48] Speaker 1: a wee little child from out where I'm from. It
[3:51] Speaker 1: was an hour and a half bus and so most
[3:53] Speaker 1: people would fall asleep, but some women were sit there
[3:55] Speaker 1: with their full beauty bag, and which I understood because
[3:58] Speaker 1: you had to get up at the crack of don't
[3:59] Speaker 1: want to get into the city in time. But it
[4:01] Speaker 1: felt quite intimate for me. Now I'm a you know,
[4:04] Speaker 1: working mother, juggle juggle, I so get it.
[4:06] Speaker 2: I just think it's a bit gross when the powder's
[4:08] Speaker 2: flying around everywhere. Yeah, but I used to do it too.
[4:11] Speaker 2: I just think own it.
[4:13] Speaker 1: But if you do feel self conscious about it, then
[4:15] Speaker 1: I would have just like a little pack with your
[4:18] Speaker 1: little mirror, your lipstick, you lip lineup, put it in
[4:20] Speaker 1: a cute little thing, grab it and take it to
[4:22] Speaker 1: the bathroom. All the men will think you've got your
[4:23] Speaker 1: period and it's a tampon, and they'll never ask another question.
[4:26] Speaker 1: But my main question is I'd like to know what
[4:27] Speaker 1: lipstick you're wearing, because maybe we could give you a
[4:30] Speaker 1: longer wearing lipstick if that's your jam. I've got some
[4:33] Speaker 1: recommendations because it's definitely not my jam. I very rarely
[4:37] Speaker 1: wear lipstick, and if I do, it's not a long
[4:39] Speaker 1: wearing one. But I went deep. I went deep into
[4:42] Speaker 1: my dms, both my like WhatsApp girlfriends who wear lip
[4:46] Speaker 1: I went on to Reddit because you taught me how
[4:48] Speaker 1: to do that, and I have three recommendations for you.
[4:51] Speaker 1: These were both everywhere from friends and on the internet.
[4:53] Speaker 1: The Urban Decay vice lip bond. It's forty six dollars.
[4:57] Speaker 1: It says bonded color that won't let go, so it's
[4:59] Speaker 1: like a liquid lip. I feel like a lot of
[5:02] Speaker 1: the newer ones, like I'm from the days of Cover
[5:05] Speaker 1: Girl that duel ended. That was like putting on like
[5:09] Speaker 1: literally like colored concrete. And then it had a gloss
[5:11] Speaker 1: that you would keep chopping up because it was so drying.
[5:14] Speaker 1: Something that lasts a long time isn't going to be
[5:16] Speaker 1: super hydrating. But I think the formulas have changed a lot,
[5:18] Speaker 1: So that was really really popular everywhere I asked. Another
[5:22] Speaker 1: really popular one was and also just side note, there's
[5:26] Speaker 1: so many variants of these lipsticks, like there's inky something
[5:29] Speaker 1: something anyway, this one is the Maybeline super State Matte
[5:32] Speaker 1: Ink Liquid lipstick, so again it's kind of applies like
[5:36] Speaker 1: a gloss. Nineteen ninety nine that was hugely popular. And
[5:41] Speaker 1: the last one was the Revlon Color State Satin Ink
[5:44] Speaker 1: lip color. So they've got a lot of variants, but
[5:46] Speaker 1: these are what most people loved. Anyway, Maybe try a
[5:49] Speaker 1: different lipstick, own it, or have a little pack in
[5:52] Speaker 1: your bag.
[5:52] Speaker 2: Can you read out the note that you've put down
[5:54] Speaker 2: the bottom, because I think that it needs to be said.
[5:56] Speaker 1: Oh yes, okay, so generally my rule of some but
[5:59] Speaker 1: I'm quite prudish with these things because I'm old, maybe like,
[6:01] Speaker 1: no know, this is just common hygienev it work, Like
[6:05] Speaker 1: you'll get changed in front of lots of people, I'll
[6:07] Speaker 1: go to the bathroom. Like, that's not my point, it's
[6:10] Speaker 1: my rule of thumby. I don't care about. Is it
[6:12] Speaker 1: usually done in private? No, if you're me getting changed,
[6:15] Speaker 1: and everyone's got a spectrum for that. But if it's
[6:18] Speaker 1: usually done in private, obviously, like teeth flossing, I don't
[6:21] Speaker 1: think we should. No, don't cut your toenails or on
[6:26] Speaker 1: public transport. Oh god, No. That's such a good.
[6:28] Speaker 2: Point though, that everyone's barometer is so different, because I
[6:31] Speaker 2: don't think twice about taking my clothes off in front
[6:33] Speaker 2: of people.
[6:34] Speaker 1: Well, I mean fly either.
[6:35] Speaker 2: But for some people that will be the same as
[6:37] Speaker 2: cutting toenails, yes, and which for me, I'm like, don't
[6:40] Speaker 2: you ever cut? Like even if I can heal it,
[6:43] Speaker 2: doing it in the Bathroom'm like, that's disgusting.
[6:45] Speaker 1: I don't want to believe everywhere now he does it
[6:47] Speaker 1: over the toilet. And for example, like I sat near
[6:50] Speaker 1: a woman on a flight once and she was painting
[6:51] Speaker 1: her nails and I was like, that smells too much.
[6:53] Speaker 1: But often I'm going to because I'm so rushed all
[6:56] Speaker 1: the time. If I'm going to lunch with my girlfriends
[6:58] Speaker 1: and I've just got new like yucky nails. I'll chuck
[7:00] Speaker 1: my nail hardener in and then do it when we
[7:02] Speaker 1: get to the table and they think that's bad. That
[7:04] Speaker 1: is bad.
[7:04] Speaker 2: It's gross, but not as gross as filing in oils.
[7:07] Speaker 2: I've got a multitask, but you don't. You could have
[7:10] Speaker 2: just not done it. Okay, no one's looking at your
[7:12] Speaker 2: fingers that closely.
[7:14] Speaker 1: I am, and I need to do it now.
[7:15] Speaker 2: If you got any so Tamra has asked. Hi kelling Lee,
[7:25] Speaker 2: thanks for all your pods and generous content. Question for you,
[7:29] Speaker 2: if I may, can you please recommend an at home
[7:31] Speaker 2: treatmental product I can use to improve the look of
[7:34] Speaker 2: skin on my back. I'm off to a ball soon
[7:37] Speaker 2: and I'm wearing a backless gown and i just realized
[7:39] Speaker 2: my post menopausal.
[7:40] Speaker 1: Back looks like a shriveled up ball sack. Thanks heaps, Tamra.
[7:44] Speaker 1: I think Tamra's a regular. Sounds so fun we talk
[7:47] Speaker 1: like that, Tama. This is an interesting timing for this
[7:50] Speaker 1: because I am mostly of the opinion that it's behind me,
[7:55] Speaker 1: so it's none of my business. Like the back of
[7:56] Speaker 1: my hair, don't care because I can't see it. I
[7:58] Speaker 1: love that. None of my business. I can't see it,
[8:01] Speaker 1: none of my business. Up until recently, I was like, eh, sorry, back,
[8:04] Speaker 1: how you get what you get? But I fell over
[8:06] Speaker 1: quite a little while ago now, and I had quite
[8:09] Speaker 1: a bad scratch and you know, down my back, and
[8:12] Speaker 1: I've been obviously trying to heal that. So I've been,
[8:14] Speaker 1: you know, turning around the mirror going oh my gosh.
[8:16] Speaker 1: And then I was like, oh, I'm so sorry, back,
[8:19] Speaker 1: like you are disgusting. It's just dry hairy, not that
[8:23] Speaker 1: I'm gonna get rir the hair hairy, you know, like
[8:25] Speaker 1: just fuzzy. I'm not gonna get rid of that. There
[8:27] Speaker 1: was some black heads, but I can't get there. Not
[8:29] Speaker 1: everyone can get there. But because does you just scratch
[8:32] Speaker 1: down my back, I've been using just side note that works.
[8:35] Speaker 1: There is one hundred percent lanel and like it's so thick,
[8:38] Speaker 1: like way thicker than the lane lip stuff that you
[8:40] Speaker 1: buy at the pharmacy. The pharmacists told me to use it.
[8:42] Speaker 1: He's a little cue tip and I can reach it
[8:44] Speaker 1: and then pj'son because its super juicy. But while I
[8:47] Speaker 1: was there, I was like, okay, back, well, you deserve
[8:49] Speaker 1: some love. So what I've been doing is any moist
[8:51] Speaker 1: to spray will do. Because I bought one when I
[8:54] Speaker 1: was in London last It's called the Curl Deep Moist
[8:56] Speaker 1: Just Spray. It's phenomenal. My girlfriend that I was staying with,
[8:59] Speaker 1: she's from America, but when she moved to London, the
[9:01] Speaker 1: water is so different and so hard, she gets really
[9:03] Speaker 1: bad crisis and dematitis and just irritation. She got me
[9:07] Speaker 1: onto that. But you can buy it here, but it's
[9:08] Speaker 1: fifty bucks if you buy it online, so that's a lot.
[9:10] Speaker 1: But lots of brands have moisture sprays, and I'm saying
[9:12] Speaker 1: a sprayed because you can just go I reckon your
[9:15] Speaker 1: backs probably need of some exfoliation, like mine desperately was.
[9:18] Speaker 1: You know the Bioderma body oil. It's the dry body oil,
[9:21] Speaker 1: the added dirm two in one dry body oil, so
[9:24] Speaker 1: it's hydrating, it dries down so it's not sticky, but
[9:26] Speaker 1: it's also got chemical exfoliance in it's a little month away.
[9:29] Speaker 1: I've also been using that. The joy of that is
[9:31] Speaker 1: it's an oil, so I kind of just like shake
[9:33] Speaker 1: heat on the top of my back and then just
[9:35] Speaker 1: kind of like schmudge it. Another fantastic one is Paula's
[9:38] Speaker 1: Choice Skin Revealing Body lotion, and it says that it
[9:42] Speaker 1: is going to gently remove built up layers of dead skin,
[9:46] Speaker 1: revealing smooth, softer skin from the neck down. So it's
[9:48] Speaker 1: not for the face. So if you're flexible enough or
[9:51] Speaker 1: you've got long arms. I do actually have really long arms,
[9:53] Speaker 1: so I can reach everywhere. But you know what you
[9:55] Speaker 1: can use. So Bondai Sands does it. A lot of
[9:57] Speaker 1: brands do it. It's like a tanning mit, but it's
[10:00] Speaker 1: not a stick. Yeah, why anything you want on it?
[10:03] Speaker 1: Does it just have to be tanned? No, you just
[10:05] Speaker 1: literally put your oil, your scrub, your moisturizer and just go,
[10:09] Speaker 1: you mean, all the way home. But be patient because
[10:12] Speaker 1: that poor backskins Like thanks, like you're gonna have to
[10:15] Speaker 1: finally Yeah, fine it more than once? Please?
[10:17] Speaker 2: Yes you could also, so I definitely think start exfoliating
[10:21] Speaker 2: because the area is quite often neglected. I would start
[10:24] Speaker 2: once a week with a granulous scrub and he will do.
[10:27] Speaker 2: The Epsen one is great. It's sixteen dollars and it's
[10:32] Speaker 2: just like really granulo. So I just feel like it's
[10:34] Speaker 2: getting in there.
[10:34] Speaker 1: And do it. I would do it before you get
[10:36] Speaker 1: in the shower, so it's not diluted at all. Exactly.
[10:38] Speaker 1: Get your partner or your friend or maybe in your neighbor.
[10:41] Speaker 2: Then I would actually start using an exfoliating body spray
[10:46] Speaker 2: or a couple of times a week. Now, the sprays
[10:49] Speaker 2: are great because you don't need to be flexible, and
[10:52] Speaker 2: it's just so easy.
[10:53] Speaker 1: Always just raising antibacterial.
[10:56] Speaker 2: Turn it's not antibacterial. It's actually chemical exfoliance. So they're
[10:59] Speaker 2: designed the reason why you probably thought it was antibacteria.
[11:03] Speaker 2: A lot of them are designed and marketed towards people
[11:05] Speaker 2: with backni yeah, like post gym vibes or yeah, just
[11:09] Speaker 2: like I've got buttony or backne. Great, use this, but
[11:12] Speaker 2: it's not just helping regenerate skin in terms of acne,
[11:16] Speaker 2: like it's just helping AHHA's and Becha's, which are chemical exfoliants,
[11:19] Speaker 2: are helping regenerate your skin in general totally. So it's
[11:23] Speaker 2: going to just improve the texture and the look of
[11:25] Speaker 2: your skin.
[11:25] Speaker 1: You know, if everyone wants top body skin in top shape,
[11:28] Speaker 1: I would use one once a week. I don't because
[11:30] Speaker 1: I'm lazy, but ideally.
[11:32] Speaker 2: You would, and they're just so easy and there are
[11:34] Speaker 2: so many. So Synergy Skin have got a great one
[11:37] Speaker 2: forty dollars. TBH skin Care they've got a new body
[11:40] Speaker 2: Sprits twenty nine ninety five, Frank Body twenty six dollars,
[11:45] Speaker 2: had no idea. Our friends Paula's choice. They've got the
[11:48] Speaker 2: clear exfoliating body Spray forty six dollars, and then Murid
[11:52] Speaker 2: have a clarifying one it's seventy four dollars.
[11:54] Speaker 1: Luke and I both love that product, though don't share
[11:57] Speaker 1: with Luke that's expensive. I know.
[11:59] Speaker 2: Then mix a body oil. It doesn't have to be expensive,
[12:02] Speaker 2: Like I always bang on about the I Herb sweet
[12:04] Speaker 2: almond oil that I then just mix with My.
[12:07] Speaker 1: Feed has also got a really good body oil I
[12:09] Speaker 1: rediscovered lately. I forgot about it.
[12:10] Speaker 2: And you just mix in with your normal body lotion
[12:13] Speaker 2: or body cream and applied and it just makes your
[12:15] Speaker 2: skin extra nourished. Finally, the night of the event of
[12:19] Speaker 2: the ball, we want to see a photo.
[12:21] Speaker 1: Please. You also need to know the color of the dress,
[12:22] Speaker 1: because this is where I stopped because I didn't know
[12:24] Speaker 1: if I recommend han or like glowy stuff.
[12:26] Speaker 2: Well, regardless of what you choose, I would apply I
[12:29] Speaker 2: don't think you wear a.
[12:30] Speaker 1: White dress to a ball and you normally save it
[12:32] Speaker 1: for your wedding.
[12:32] Speaker 2: Yet someone to help you apply a beautiful body oil
[12:35] Speaker 2: with humor in it on the night, because that will
[12:37] Speaker 2: just make your skin look glorious.
[12:39] Speaker 1: You know what I do sometimes as well. It's the
[12:41] Speaker 1: l effect. It's like body foundation. It's so pigmented. I
[12:45] Speaker 1: mix a little bit of the El Effect, which is
[12:47] Speaker 1: l Ferguson, the very famous Australian content creator, with like
[12:50] Speaker 1: a juicy body lotion, and it gives you like a
[12:52] Speaker 1: wash of color and coverage, but doesn't because it's almost
[12:56] Speaker 1: not like coverage foundation. Well, yeah, I water it down
[12:59] Speaker 1: so that it's not because I've tried it like straight
[13:02] Speaker 1: up on my creepy pigmentation here, and it hides the pigmentation.
[13:06] Speaker 1: But then it's like it looks dry. Juice it up. Ah,
[13:09] Speaker 1: that's a good tea. I love it. I love it.
[13:11] Speaker 1: I love it. I've already I've made a pre mixed
[13:13] Speaker 1: version in a tub so that I'm like, oh gosh,
[13:16] Speaker 1: I love it. When you get your science experiments, I
[13:18] Speaker 1: just like mixing things. I'm so jealous. Yeah, So today I.
[13:29] Speaker 2: Want to talk about atomica which is a brand new
[13:32] Speaker 2: store concept, not brand new. It's been around for about
[13:34] Speaker 2: a year. But I hadn't been to one of the stores,
[13:36] Speaker 2: so I didn't truly get it. Like I read about
[13:38] Speaker 2: it and there was a store in castle Hill that
[13:42] Speaker 2: I'm from.
[13:43] Speaker 1: There is a store in castle Hill. Sorry not there
[13:45] Speaker 1: was in the tower.
[13:46] Speaker 2: I think in the towers, in the towers, the towers
[13:50] Speaker 2: you're from South.
[13:51] Speaker 1: I have, Yeah, I've lived everywhere in Sydney. I lived
[13:54] Speaker 1: in castle Hill for a while, so I don't know
[13:56] Speaker 1: where it is. Do not hold me to that towers.
[13:58] Speaker 1: But there are now.
[13:59] Speaker 2: Six atomicas, so if you live new one, there's one
[14:02] Speaker 2: in Western Australia in Perth, there's one in Sydney, and
[14:06] Speaker 2: then there's four in Melbourne. So just look if you
[14:09] Speaker 2: can one, because you've got to go in there to
[14:11] Speaker 2: truly understand how magical it is.
[14:13] Speaker 1: I didn't get it. I didn't understand the concept. I
[14:15] Speaker 1: don't know what it is either because I was like,
[14:17] Speaker 1: is it a mecca or is it like a w
[14:18] Speaker 1: Cosmetics Asian beauty store. It is a blend of all
[14:22] Speaker 1: of the best things about our favorite beauty stores in
[14:26] Speaker 1: one So a tamaka is a side brand, a sister brand,
[14:30] Speaker 1: two price lines so you can use your sister club card.
[14:34] Speaker 1: They've generally got like sales, the same products but so fancy,
[14:38] Speaker 1: except the prices aren't fancy. So do you have some
[14:40] Speaker 1: more heightened products and brands there. But you walk in
[14:44] Speaker 1: and you feel like you're in a Sophora or a
[14:46] Speaker 1: mecha like. There are testers. It's luxe vibes.
[14:49] Speaker 2: It's very lux there's a lot of space. There are
[14:53] Speaker 2: testers for every single.
[14:57] Speaker 1: Isn't sex in America, but you know they're good pharmacies
[14:59] Speaker 1: where it's huge.
[15:00] Speaker 2: And this is way better. It's not even pharmacy vibes.
[15:02] Speaker 2: It's just a beauty store. So it's very different to Priceline.
[15:05] Speaker 2: There's no medication, there's no medical product. It's all just beauty.
[15:10] Speaker 2: And some of the brands are the same that are
[15:13] Speaker 2: at Priceline. But then there are some brands that are
[15:15] Speaker 2: exclusive to Atomica in Australia, and then brands like you're
[15:19] Speaker 2: never going to find, like turtor all of the testers.
[15:23] Speaker 2: The mix of everything, it's literally a mix of everything
[15:25] Speaker 2: because there's full K, Beauty, Jay Beauty, all of these
[15:29] Speaker 2: really cool brands and some of which you can't find
[15:31] Speaker 2: anywhere else but online. Now you can go actually play
[15:35] Speaker 2: with the products in store. So impressed, We'll go to
[15:38] Speaker 2: Castletowns is probably closer for you.
[15:40] Speaker 1: Closer, Yeah, I guess, yeah, I'll come with you. I
[15:42] Speaker 1: want to go see the Castle Towers fue. It's just
[15:44] Speaker 1: so cool.
[15:45] Speaker 2: Everything's so inclusive, accessible, affordable, but you feel.
[15:49] Speaker 1: Like your luxury shop. I'm absolutely going. I love it. Okay,
[15:52] Speaker 1: we're going on a date because it's a tkmaxa Castle
[15:54] Speaker 1: Hill as well. Anyone fun if anyone's not from Sydney.
[15:57] Speaker 1: It's a suburban Sydney. It's quite specific, but that's where
[15:59] Speaker 1: I'm from. Okay, well mine's nowhere near as exciting. But
[16:02] Speaker 1: because I'm the mcgiver of beauty, as we know that,
[16:04] Speaker 1: I like to just invent things, usually out of desperation
[16:08] Speaker 1: because I've lost things, broken things, you know me, can't
[16:10] Speaker 1: find them? Well that's lost. Yeah, ah my bags, because
[16:15] Speaker 1: I've lost things. Yeah, like you can't find someone like
[16:18] Speaker 1: I can't find this, Well, where did you last see it? Oh?
[16:21] Speaker 1: Oh thanks, I didn't think of looking. Thank you so much.
[16:24] Speaker 1: I have very gray roots, very quickly, as many long
[16:27] Speaker 1: term mubies will know. That's why I've gone like pretty
[16:30] Speaker 1: much fully black as I just whack my hair color on. No,
[16:33] Speaker 1: it's not fully black. It's so chocolate. It's beautiful. That's
[16:36] Speaker 1: because I just did my own DIY little highlights. It's
[16:39] Speaker 1: throwing a bit of warmth. But anyway, did my roots
[16:41] Speaker 1: two nights ago, thank god. But before that, I was like, well,
[16:43] Speaker 1: where are my roots? Bra? It's where my root powders?
[16:45] Speaker 1: You couldn't find anything. Well, there somewhere.
[16:47] Speaker 2: I need someone to buy them in back up, so
[16:50] Speaker 2: I don't yep, you there're somewhere.
[16:51] Speaker 1: I recently did a clean out and some of the
[16:53] Speaker 1: powders were leaking, so when you threw those ones out.
[16:55] Speaker 1: But anyway, if you have dark hair, sorry, might wear
[16:59] Speaker 1: for worms, I wouldn't know. But if you have dark hair,
[17:01] Speaker 1: go to your shadow palettes, choose the browns. Really pretty
[17:05] Speaker 1: Revolution Beauty. I can't help, but I just love this brand.
[17:08] Speaker 1: Was that it you were Amorica, it would be because
[17:10] Speaker 1: it was you're a Morica Atomica. Oh that thing there
[17:14] Speaker 1: was sore testers for everything Revolution Beauty. If you are
[17:20] Speaker 1: a brunette shade, if I would say anything from sort of
[17:22] Speaker 1: a light brown to black, and you've got eyeshadow. You've
[17:25] Speaker 1: probably got one of those comings because all shadows are nude.
[17:28] Speaker 1: So I just grabbed this palette. Of course, all my
[17:31] Speaker 1: palettes that I have, which I also cleaned out recently,
[17:33] Speaker 1: and basically that one's quite fun. It's got a pink
[17:35] Speaker 1: in there, it's got two people. I haven't touched it. Yeah,
[17:38] Speaker 1: you just get that, and then i'd get just like
[17:40] Speaker 1: a chubby short brush like oftentimes not a concealer brush,
[17:43] Speaker 1: but it's one of those weird small face buffing brushes
[17:46] Speaker 1: and I don't know how. Maybe it's a contool brush.
[17:49] Speaker 1: So good genius. I know makeup can be used in
[17:52] Speaker 1: so many different ways. I'm going to use it to draw.
[17:55] Speaker 2: I'm actually going to try and I will report back.
[17:57] Speaker 2: I will use like a really light like you could
[17:59] Speaker 2: maybe use.
[18:00] Speaker 1: That's what I'm thinking. That is, like, to be honest,
[18:05] Speaker 1: I should have gone from a Mata one, but it
[18:07] Speaker 1: totally works. But now I'm until I well, I'm going
[18:09] Speaker 1: to buy more Root cover up because I'm just gonna
[18:11] Speaker 1: use on my shirt.
[18:12] Speaker 2: It's You're absolutely going to buy a new route cover
[18:14] Speaker 2: because it's got a job to try different things. All right,
[18:16] Speaker 2: I'm going to try this quickly. Okay, I'm just mixing
[18:18] Speaker 2: two of the lighter shades because I want to see
[18:22] Speaker 2: and that's.
[18:22] Speaker 1: The revolution beauty forever, flawless eyes, shadow paler. I don't
[18:26] Speaker 1: know if you can still get it. Oh okay, you
[18:28] Speaker 1: need a brush using your fingers and it just has
[18:30] Speaker 1: like put powder in my hair without Yeah, okay, okay,
[18:33] Speaker 1: we're not getting done. Yeah, I know you need to
[18:36] Speaker 1: load the brush. And if you're like me and you've
[18:38] Speaker 1: got like dark hair and a straight part, just make
[18:42] Speaker 1: sure that you do like each side separately, or use
[18:45] Speaker 1: a q tit with some my cellar water to then
[18:46] Speaker 1: bring your part back if you've used to spray. I
[18:48] Speaker 1: love your little hacks to just such a clever cookie.
[18:51] Speaker 1: On that note, so hate leaving you, I know.
[18:54] Speaker 2: But we'll be back in your ears and eyes very soon.
[18:57] Speaker 2: You can fde us on Instagram, TikTok YouTube.
[19:00] Speaker 1: At our homes, but hopefully you don't know where we live.
[19:02] Speaker 1: That'd be a bit stranger. But I might see you
[19:04] Speaker 1: guys at a couple. Yeah, we're all going to go
[19:07] Speaker 1: all of the Sydney ubi's let's all meet. Oh my gosh,
[19:10] Speaker 1: let's have a group of excosion. Oh my god. Okay,
[19:11] Speaker 1: so we're going to meet at Castle Towers down near Target.
[19:14] Speaker 2: Oh that's really far. Actually, I don't know the story.
[19:16] Speaker 2: We need to figure out with the stories. Then we're
[19:17] Speaker 2: gonna organize big meetings.
[19:18] Speaker 1: That's the good end, because Target came out of together
[19:20] Speaker 1: the other like the piazza is dead. Now Okay, thanks
