[1:49] Speaker 1: on the messiest, most awkward and cringe worthy problems.
[1:53] Speaker 6: In your makeup bag.
[1:54] Speaker 5: And beyond this episode, we are tackling the unspoken rules
[1:59] Speaker 5: of cosmetic injectibles.
[2:01] Speaker 1: Do you owe people.
[2:02] Speaker 3: A full confession?
[2:04] Speaker 5: We're also diving into a very hairy situation with a
[2:07] Speaker 5: listener's boyfriend.
[2:09] Speaker 1: Plus, we are solving the case of the office hand
[2:13] Speaker 1: hand crim gate.
[2:14] Speaker 6: Was it you? Probably? But first our beauty headlines.
[2:19] Speaker 4: This is the Beauty Edit.
[2:20] Speaker 7: I'm cass Mom and me as morning editor, and I'm
[2:22] Speaker 7: here to unpack all the biggest trends. Consider this you'r
[2:26] Speaker 7: weekly download of everything you missed in the beauty world.
[2:29] Speaker 8: And I'm Sophie, the producer of you Beauty, and I'm
[2:31] Speaker 8: here to ask all the questions you're wondering on your behalf.
[2:34] Speaker 8: So let's get into it, Cass, what's the first big
[2:36] Speaker 8: trend we need to talk about?
[2:38] Speaker 7: So, Kim Kardashian is closing her skincare brand, Skin by
[2:42] Speaker 7: Kim Wait.
[2:43] Speaker 8: So Kim is shutting down her beauty line already. Didn't
[2:45] Speaker 8: that only launch a few years ago?
[2:47] Speaker 4: You're right?
[2:47] Speaker 7: So, so Skin launched in twenty twenty two as this
[2:50] Speaker 7: kind of glossy, luxury skincare brand. It was also a
[2:54] Speaker 7: rebrand of her previous labels, which you'll probably remember as
[2:56] Speaker 7: KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance. So at the time, Kim
[3:00] Speaker 7: was kind of looking for something that was a one
[3:03] Speaker 7: brand beauty empire, and this was supposed to encompass skincare, makeup, fragrance, nails.
[3:09] Speaker 4: That sort of stuff.
[3:10] Speaker 7: And it was done in partnership with Cody, which is
[3:12] Speaker 7: a really big beauty giant who owns a bunch of
[3:14] Speaker 7: really amazing brands. And it was designed as a nine
[3:17] Speaker 7: product skin care line and later expanded to makeup, but
[3:21] Speaker 7: so if the reality was that it never really landed.
[3:23] Speaker 7: The nine products, which included cleanser, tona exfoliator, herolonic acid,
[3:28] Speaker 7: vitamin C, face cream, I cream oil, dropped night oil.
[3:31] Speaker 7: There's a reason that I'm taking a breath there. There
[3:33] Speaker 7: is so much there, and together it cost six hundred
[3:36] Speaker 7: and seventy three USD, which is around one thousand dollars AUD.
[3:40] Speaker 4: So even the fans that.
[3:42] Speaker 7: Really loved Kim couldn't justify that kind of price tag.
[3:45] Speaker 7: So in twenty twenty four she tried to turn things around.
[3:47] Speaker 7: She sort of didn't let it die, then added some makeup,
[3:50] Speaker 7: but even then it just didn't really take off.
[3:53] Speaker 8: Yeah, okay, I definitely wouldn't pay that.
[3:55] Speaker 7: No, I know, I think it's quite excessive, especially because
[3:57] Speaker 7: if you consider so many celebrity luxury brands are kind
[4:00] Speaker 7: of in that middle range.
[4:01] Speaker 4: So this was a bit of a step at the time.
[4:03] Speaker 8: So what happened was it just too expensive.
[4:05] Speaker 4: That was kind of a big part of it.
[4:07] Speaker 7: And the products were nice, but I feel like they
[4:09] Speaker 7: weren't that unique, especially for that kind of price range.
[4:12] Speaker 7: So Bethany Frankel, who is on the Real Housewives of
[4:15] Speaker 7: New York and makes lots of comments on social media
[4:17] Speaker 7: about various things, called it a rich person's game, and
[4:20] Speaker 7: I think that kind of sums this one up. And
[4:23] Speaker 7: then you've got Kim herself. So she's already juggling her
[4:25] Speaker 7: four billion dollar Skims empire, four kids, finishing a law program,
[4:29] Speaker 7: and now she's actually going to start in Ryan Murphy's
[4:32] Speaker 7: new series All Fair. So she has a lot going on.
[4:34] Speaker 7: And I think in this instance, a sluggish beauty label
[4:37] Speaker 7: just really wasn't worth her bandwidth.
[4:39] Speaker 8: Okay, So wasn't this in a partnership, Yes.
[4:41] Speaker 4: It was so behind the scenes.
[4:43] Speaker 7: Coti, who originally partnered with her, sold their stake at
[4:46] Speaker 7: a loss earlier this year, So that kind of led
[4:49] Speaker 7: to this official note on the website saying that it
[4:51] Speaker 7: closed down on June twenty ninth.
[4:53] Speaker 4: Of this year.
[4:53] Speaker 8: Okay, Kassid, does that mean that this is the end
[4:55] Speaker 8: of Kim Kardashian in beauty?
[4:56] Speaker 7: Look, it's a good question, but I think the answer
[4:58] Speaker 7: is not quite. The industry is already talking about Skims
[5:02] Speaker 7: Beauty on the horizon potentially for next year in twenty
[5:05] Speaker 7: twenty six, and that actually makes a lot of sense
[5:08] Speaker 7: if you consider skims as a cultural juggernaut. It's not
[5:11] Speaker 7: just shapewear anymore. It's loungewear, it's swim, it's men's wear.
[5:15] Speaker 6: And it's gone global.
[5:16] Speaker 7: So it makes sense to put her new beauty foray,
[5:19] Speaker 7: whatever that may be, under the Skim's umbrella and tapping
[5:22] Speaker 7: into her existing customer base.
[5:25] Speaker 4: So my thoughts, so that Skin by Kim may have.
[5:27] Speaker 7: Flopped, but this feels like less of a failure and
[5:30] Speaker 7: a bit more of a strategic pivot.
[5:32] Speaker 8: Okay, right, So it's Kimmy Kaye trimming the fat so
[5:34] Speaker 8: you can make a bigger comeback.
[5:35] Speaker 4: I'd say.
[5:36] Speaker 5: So.
[5:36] Speaker 7: I think she's cut in the dead weight and then
[5:38] Speaker 7: she's gonna come back bigger and better than ever. Sophie,
[5:41] Speaker 7: I have some devastating news. The internet is saying that
[5:44] Speaker 7: MATCHA is messing with our hair.
[5:46] Speaker 8: Wait what hold on, don't come for my morning match a, cass?
[5:50] Speaker 8: What is going on here?
[5:51] Speaker 7: So Matcha is everywhere right now, and all the hot
[5:54] Speaker 7: girls are drinking it on their walks.
[5:55] Speaker 4: It's Oliver Pinterest and.
[5:57] Speaker 7: Even I have to say it looks very chic when
[5:59] Speaker 7: you've got one in your hand. But a viral Instagram
[6:02] Speaker 7: reel had people spiraling, and it came from holistic beauty
[6:05] Speaker 7: expert Michelle Ranavat. So she said that her hair started
[6:08] Speaker 7: falling out because she was drinking too much of it.
[6:11] Speaker 8: Oh my god, Okay, how much is too much? What
[6:13] Speaker 8: does that mean exactly?
[6:14] Speaker 7: I mean the main ingredient in matcha that's causing a
[6:17] Speaker 7: fuss is something called a tannin, which is a naturally
[6:20] Speaker 7: occurring polyphonolic compound. They're saying that it could block iron absorption,
[6:25] Speaker 7: and low iron is correlated to thinning and shedding. But
[6:28] Speaker 7: as we know, there's quite a difference between correlation and causation.
[6:32] Speaker 8: So we're saying that my morning beloved green latte is
[6:35] Speaker 8: going to make me bald.
[6:36] Speaker 7: Well, Not exactly, So Mamma Mia spoke to the experts
[6:40] Speaker 7: on this one to debunk it. We spoke with doctor
[6:42] Speaker 7: James Hook, who's really well known in the wellness and
[6:44] Speaker 7: health world, and he said that basically any food or
[6:47] Speaker 7: drink in excess could impact our health. So matcha isn't
[6:51] Speaker 7: directly causing our hair loss. However, if you already have
[6:55] Speaker 7: low iron, it might not be a bad idea to
[6:57] Speaker 7: drink a little less or time your intake better For
[7:00] Speaker 7: those that are already low in iron, it could worseen
[7:03] Speaker 7: the deficiency or potentially trigger something called intelligent effluvium, which
[7:07] Speaker 7: you may know is a type of temporary shit and
[7:10] Speaker 7: hair loss, but it's actually not a new phenomenon, Sophie.
[7:13] Speaker 8: So it's not just my match to them.
[7:15] Speaker 4: No, So doctors have.
[7:16] Speaker 7: Actually recommended keeping tea and coffee at least one to
[7:19] Speaker 7: two hours away from meals that are iron rich or
[7:22] Speaker 7: if you're taking iron supplements, and they basically say to
[7:25] Speaker 7: take the supplements on an empty stomach. So if you're
[7:27] Speaker 7: low in iron and you're trying to eat a breakfast
[7:29] Speaker 7: sausage in the morning, maybe have your match out a
[7:31] Speaker 7: little later in the day.
[7:33] Speaker 8: So basically, don't chug a Marcher with your steak dinner.
[7:36] Speaker 7: It's more of your iron deficient to just be mindful
[7:38] Speaker 7: making sure you're eating your iron rich foods on an
[7:40] Speaker 7: empty stomach and monitoring your levels and consulting a doctor
[7:44] Speaker 7: if you're a bit worried. So the bottom line is, no,
[7:46] Speaker 7: you don't need to break up with your March just yet,
[7:48] Speaker 7: but make sure to drink it smarter. That's your beauty
[7:51] Speaker 7: headlines for this week. Now, let's get into your beauty
[7:53] Speaker 7: dilemmas with Kelly and Amy.
[7:56] Speaker 6: This one has come from a listener named Jen so.
[7:59] Speaker 5: Gendm Us, saying, I recently had a small cosmetic enhancement
[8:03] Speaker 5: to my lips and lines just to just screet touch up,
[8:05] Speaker 5: and I absolutely love it. The change is super subtle
[8:08] Speaker 5: and natural, but it still makes me feel.
[8:10] Speaker 3: Like I'm hiding something.
[8:11] Speaker 5: I have a friend who's completely open about her tweaks.
[8:13] Speaker 5: If someone compliments her lips, she'll say straight away, thanks,
[8:17] Speaker 5: I got them done. I admire that honesty, but I'm
[8:19] Speaker 5: not sure I want to be that transparent. So do
[8:22] Speaker 5: I have to tell people? Do I owe them that information?
[8:25] Speaker 6: What is the etiquette?
[8:27] Speaker 5: I feel like you are the perfect person to talk
[8:30] Speaker 5: about this, because yeah, but I last thing you were like,
[8:33] Speaker 5: I want to answer first.
[8:34] Speaker 1: Oh, like she's going to come in with some opinions. Oho.
[8:38] Speaker 5: I totally get why gen feels this way, because we
[8:41] Speaker 5: do expect transparency when it comes to injectibles and tweatments,
[8:45] Speaker 5: but it's from people that are profiting from the way
[8:49] Speaker 5: they look or that it's part of their brand, So
[8:51] Speaker 5: you know, like it's so different for someone who is
[8:54] Speaker 5: in the public eye versus the average person. Like, I
[8:58] Speaker 5: don't expect the average person to tell me what tweatments
[9:01] Speaker 5: they've had.
[9:02] Speaker 8: Do you know?
[9:04] Speaker 3: I mean, if I ask them point blank, what have
[9:06] Speaker 3: you done?
[9:07] Speaker 1: Well, if someone looks vastly different, of course it's none
[9:10] Speaker 1: of my business. But if I ask and you're not
[9:13] Speaker 1: transparent and I know you well, then you're kind of
[9:15] Speaker 1: a little bit you're not.
[9:16] Speaker 6: A girl's girl.
[9:17] Speaker 1: I just don't think however, no, no, no, no, no,
[9:20] Speaker 1: I'm saying, if I know you quite well, that's it.
[9:23] Speaker 5: It's like like, am I going to tell someone that
[9:26] Speaker 5: I literally met today, like my entire cosmetic history.
[9:29] Speaker 3: I'm probably not.
[9:30] Speaker 9: Yeah, and they did, they wouldn't ask, well, this is
[9:35] Speaker 9: what I've had done exactly down to the mills literally,
[9:39] Speaker 9: but where like probably not the best litmus test for
[9:42] Speaker 9: like how the average person might talk about it.
[9:45] Speaker 5: But in my friendship circle, I think because it's like
[9:48] Speaker 5: in the same way that you share recommendations and information,
[9:51] Speaker 5: you know, like the great pair of boots that you've found,
[9:53] Speaker 5: or like have you been to this plate studio, this restaurant,
[9:57] Speaker 5: It's kind of like I feel like I love sharing
[9:59] Speaker 5: information in that way with my friends, so I have
[10:02] Speaker 5: no you know, I'll be like, oh, yeah, I did
[10:04] Speaker 5: this and this and this, But it's also completely fine
[10:08] Speaker 5: not to so, Jen, you actually don't owe anybody that information.
[10:13] Speaker 1: You don't owe anyone anything about your body, about what
[10:16] Speaker 1: you've had done, about anything. However, that's how I see
[10:21] Speaker 1: it on one hand. But on the other hand, my
[10:23] Speaker 1: comment about being a girl's girl is simply if someone
[10:26] Speaker 1: says to you, oh, my goodness, your lips look fantastic
[10:29] Speaker 1: and you have had filler, I just think it's a
[10:32] Speaker 1: little bit disingenuous personally to say, well, I mean, you
[10:37] Speaker 1: can just say thanks, true, you can just say thanks,
[10:41] Speaker 1: But if you're allowing that person to believe that it
[10:46] Speaker 1: was just how you will mother nature mother nature, or
[10:50] Speaker 1: just a particular lip product that you're using, that's what
[10:53] Speaker 1: I think is a little bit disingenuous. However, it also
[10:57] Speaker 1: is still not that person's business, true, Like it doesn't
[11:01] Speaker 1: you don't owe anyone anything.
[11:03] Speaker 5: Yeah, it's always as long as you're not like causing harm.
[11:08] Speaker 5: And also like, yeah, it's comes down to like the who,
[11:11] Speaker 5: the context, all of that kind of stuff. If anything,
[11:14] Speaker 5: I'd almost say to Jen, it's probably worth just like
[11:17] Speaker 5: she said that she loves how it looks that she's
[11:20] Speaker 5: so happy with the results. It's more kind of like, oh,
[11:23] Speaker 5: I wonder like why she like feels a little bit
[11:26] Speaker 5: uncomfy about like if she would tell her friends or not,
[11:30] Speaker 5: because it's kind of like if it's from a place
[11:32] Speaker 5: of like, oh I feel like a bit shameful that
[11:34] Speaker 5: I've had this thing done, then like maybe that's worth interrogating.
[11:37] Speaker 5: But if you're just a super private person, then lack
[11:40] Speaker 5: power to you.
[11:41] Speaker 1: Yeah, and you don't have to at all. And I'm
[11:44] Speaker 1: not saying that you're not a girl's girl at all.
[11:46] Speaker 1: Like it's so as you said, it's within context, Like, yeah,
[11:50] Speaker 1: I think what bothers me is I always think about
[11:53] Speaker 1: it purely from it's when a public person promotes lip
[11:58] Speaker 1: bum Yeah, this makes my lips look like this, and
[12:02] Speaker 1: they've had three meals of filler and a lip flip
[12:05] Speaker 1: and potentially a few tweakments around their mouth. That's what
[12:09] Speaker 1: I just think is really deceiving and bad behavior and
[12:13] Speaker 1: poor form towards other women.
[12:15] Speaker 6: But yeah, if you're just private, don't worry about it.
[12:19] Speaker 1: Don't overthink things too much that don't affect other people.
[12:27] Speaker 5: Now, for our second question, we have an anonymous submission,
[12:32] Speaker 5: one from Melbourne. It's not me, by the way, because
[12:34] Speaker 5: I live in Melbourne.
[12:37] Speaker 1: My partner has a beard and it's a total mess.
[12:39] Speaker 1: It looks unkempt, and he just uses my standard champoon
[12:42] Speaker 1: it which makes it feel dry and wiry. I'm honestly
[12:45] Speaker 1: so put off by it. How do I convince him
[12:48] Speaker 1: to use a proper beard products without hurting his feelings
[12:50] Speaker 1: or making it a whole thing. I'm sorry to giggle,
[12:53] Speaker 1: but I just I'm honestly so put off by it.
[12:55] Speaker 1: That line is like it's giving me the eck.
[12:57] Speaker 5: Yeah, but honestly, but there's a whole bunch of ways.
[13:01] Speaker 5: I'm sure that you could say this with nuance and whatever,
[13:03] Speaker 5: but I would literally say, and I'm pretty sure I
[13:05] Speaker 5: have said this to my husband. I like kissing you
[13:08] Speaker 5: better when you've had a fresh shave, don't give me
[13:12] Speaker 5: a beard, rush my face or badge. Like like, I'm
[13:15] Speaker 5: gonna throw that information out there and then it's his
[13:18] Speaker 5: you know, he can do with that what he will do.
[13:20] Speaker 5: You want to kiss me more, then let's shave. Let's
[13:23] Speaker 5: look after the facial hair, because like, and that's coming
[13:26] Speaker 5: from me like, or if you've ever like you get
[13:29] Speaker 5: easily irritated skin, like I need to not look like
[13:33] Speaker 5: Sharon Strzleki when I'm out and about with a massive
[13:36] Speaker 5: pass rush exactly.
[13:38] Speaker 1: That's just such a good way to look at it,
[13:40] Speaker 1: Just really good advice. You don't have to hurt their feelings.
[13:42] Speaker 1: Just say, hey, your beard is really rough and it
[13:44] Speaker 1: hurts my face.
[13:45] Speaker 6: Do you want to pass me? Yes or no? Except
[13:47] Speaker 6: then if he shaves it. You've really got to like passion.
[13:50] Speaker 5: Oh yes, And this listener has said that their partner
[13:53] Speaker 5: has a beard. It's a bit different but easy fix,
[13:57] Speaker 5: like to keep a beard maintained and like, I don't know, it.
[14:01] Speaker 1: Depends how sensitive happens and how bushy. Most people surely
[14:06] Speaker 1: are open to a little bit of criticism about that. Like, hey, babe,
[14:09] Speaker 1: I brought you some bead oil. It's just you can
[14:11] Speaker 1: do it really casually, in a non confrontational way. Babe,
[14:14] Speaker 1: I picked up this beard oil for you because the
[14:16] Speaker 1: last time you gave me a schmooch it kind of
[14:18] Speaker 1: hurt me. Can you just start using this? I think
[14:20] Speaker 1: it'll Like I read an article it's really good something
[14:22] Speaker 1: like that.
[14:23] Speaker 6: Yeah, just drop it. Into casual conversation. Doesn't have to
[14:25] Speaker 6: be a big thing.
[14:26] Speaker 5: It also doesn't have to be like a specific beard product, like,
[14:29] Speaker 5: for example, like the face oil that I love, Like
[14:32] Speaker 5: he can use that too on his facial hair. I'm
[14:35] Speaker 5: talking as someone who has like I'm always skip.
[14:39] Speaker 1: Yeah I still have a beard, and well.
[14:42] Speaker 5: Actually, funnily enough, yeah, my husband does like to comment
[14:45] Speaker 5: on how my little mustache glints in the sunlight sometimes,
[14:48] Speaker 5: but you know, it's very soft, so it doesn't cause
[14:51] Speaker 5: him a shape. But another little hack that I use
[14:56] Speaker 5: is I'll just like send I don't know if you
[14:58] Speaker 5: send your partner like tiktoks or Instagram memes and things
[15:02] Speaker 5: like that, just send some pictures of like, you know,
[15:06] Speaker 5: men with facial hair that you think looks nice.
[15:09] Speaker 6: And so send them across.
[15:11] Speaker 3: They'll get the hint.
[15:12] Speaker 1: Producer Soaf has just given us such an additional great tip.
[15:16] Speaker 1: When they're not near you just starts screaming into their
[15:19] Speaker 1: phone so that they listen and then start serving ads.
[15:23] Speaker 6: I need a beard oil, I need a soft.
[15:25] Speaker 1: Beard, scratchy beard, help please help me.
[15:29] Speaker 6: And that was great advice.
[15:31] Speaker 5: So the work borrower, all right, So listener Julia has
[15:43] Speaker 5: asked there's a colleague at my office who is constantly
[15:47] Speaker 5: quote unquote borrowing my lip, arm and hand cream. I'm sorry,
[15:51] Speaker 5: but that person needs to go to jail. I keep
[15:54] Speaker 5: my desk stocked with my favorite expensive products, and she
[15:56] Speaker 5: always asks to use them. How do I get her
[15:59] Speaker 5: to stop without making it awkward every time she asks?
[16:02] Speaker 1: Let us both say how we would approach this situation.
[16:06] Speaker 4: Um, it's me.
[16:08] Speaker 1: Being the person I am Oi jaila jawls.
[16:14] Speaker 6: Don't get your dirty mits off my things.
[16:17] Speaker 1: What if I had a cold saw your dirty bitch.
[16:20] Speaker 6: What if you have a cold saw your dirty bitch.
[16:22] Speaker 5: Yeah, so I probably wouldn't do it quite like that,
[16:25] Speaker 5: but this reminded me so much of and also like
[16:29] Speaker 5: every office is different, Like you come to the mum
[16:31] Speaker 5: and mea office, Like people are picking stuff up of
[16:34] Speaker 5: other people's desks, like you know, I'm going over and
[16:38] Speaker 5: I'm spraying your perfume. Like it's just a different environment.
[16:41] Speaker 5: But I once I will never forget. Once in our
[16:44] Speaker 5: old office, I had my GHD glide straight in and
[16:47] Speaker 5: brush like plugged in at my desk so I could
[16:49] Speaker 5: do my hair before work. And one time I came
[16:52] Speaker 5: into the office one morning and it was like you
[16:54] Speaker 5: know when someone bows a heat tool and they like
[16:57] Speaker 5: they wrap the cord up around and it's like, so
[17:01] Speaker 5: they unplugged it, wrapped it up, put it on the desk.
[17:03] Speaker 3: It was covered in blonde hair. Obviously I'm a ranger.
[17:08] Speaker 5: I don't have blonde hair, so it was like someone's
[17:10] Speaker 5: used this, they haven't asked me to use it, and
[17:13] Speaker 5: then they've left it on my desk with all their
[17:16] Speaker 5: hair in it, and I was like, like, you could
[17:19] Speaker 5: have just pulled the hair out.
[17:20] Speaker 6: I just said, hey, babe, do you mind if I So.
[17:24] Speaker 5: I really empathize with Julia, but I'd probably say, like,
[17:29] Speaker 5: take your really fancy hand like expense, I if we're
[17:32] Speaker 5: talking like a Birado hand cream or something like that's
[17:36] Speaker 5: for your nightstand. Probably like the easiest way to solve
[17:40] Speaker 5: this is to just like replace it with another really
[17:43] Speaker 5: beautiful looking, affordable hand cream, so you still get that
[17:47] Speaker 5: nice glimmer in your day. But then it's kind of
[17:50] Speaker 5: like if somebody is like and also when you're applying
[17:53] Speaker 5: to hand cream at work and it smells really beautiful,
[17:56] Speaker 5: like I'm probably going to turn around be like.
[17:57] Speaker 3: Oh that, oh that smells nice.
[18:00] Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't think that we can gate keep hand
[18:02] Speaker 1: cream in an office.
[18:03] Speaker 6: Well, of course we can.
[18:05] Speaker 1: You can have whatever boundaries you want, but I agree,
[18:07] Speaker 1: just get like a more affordable one, keep you a
[18:10] Speaker 1: nice one for at home or your home office, and
[18:12] Speaker 1: just yeah, share the hand cream around the lip bum
[18:15] Speaker 1: on the other hand.
[18:17] Speaker 6: No way, yuck.
[18:18] Speaker 5: That is like, that's like go to HR please, I do.
[18:22] Speaker 6: Not share lip bum with my sister.
[18:25] Speaker 8: Yuck.
[18:25] Speaker 6: That is I agree straight to Joy.
[18:27] Speaker 5: I think I'm in shock too, just thinking about like
[18:30] Speaker 5: a colleague using my lip bum.
[18:32] Speaker 1: I'm so intimate and really gross, like that's bad germs.
[18:37] Speaker 1: I think a more polite way of dealing with it
[18:40] Speaker 1: than just shouting at her so jokingly non jokingly said,
[18:45] Speaker 1: just hate once again, Like I said with the husband.
[18:48] Speaker 1: Think things don't have to be confrontational. I think sometimes
[18:52] Speaker 1: we build things up in our head more than they
[18:54] Speaker 1: need to be. Next time she comes over and ask
[18:58] Speaker 1: to borrow your things, you just say, don't mind using
[19:00] Speaker 1: my hand cremb please don't borrow my lip bum. I
[19:03] Speaker 1: just find it really gross. I don't want to share
[19:04] Speaker 1: lip bums or turn it around onto yourself. Say I wouldn't.
[19:08] Speaker 1: I've got a cold, saw or I'm getting a flu. Yeah,
[19:11] Speaker 1: just make yourself out to be the gross one. Why
[19:14] Speaker 1: would you want to use your things?
[19:15] Speaker 4: Yeah?
[19:15] Speaker 5: Fall on the sword like and send her this episode. Yeah,
[19:20] Speaker 5: so have you heard this great podcast?
[19:21] Speaker 3: It's called You Beauty.
[19:22] Speaker 1: Now, I just I don't see a problem with borrowing
[19:25] Speaker 1: hands cream, although I completely agree why it would bother
[19:28] Speaker 1: you when it's an expensive one, So let's just swap
[19:30] Speaker 1: that out.
[19:30] Speaker 6: But they're blip bomb.
[19:32] Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, not okay, And that brings us to the
[19:35] Speaker 5: end of the fix. So we've basically solved everyone's problems
[19:38] Speaker 5: and if yeah.
[19:40] Speaker 3: Well we can't do everything.
