[0:10] Speaker 1: You're listening to a MoMA Mia podcast. Mamma Mia acknowledges
[0:15] Speaker 1: the traditional owners of land and waters that this podcast
[0:18] Speaker 1: is recorded on.
[0:21] Speaker 2: Whoever said orange is a new pink with seriously.
[0:23] Speaker 1: Disturbed laurels for spraying groundbreaking? Oh my god, you have
[0:27] Speaker 1: to do it. You live for fashion. Hello, and welcome
[0:32] Speaker 1: to Nothing to Wear, the podcast that solves fashion problems
[0:35] Speaker 1: and levels up your wardrobe. I'm Lee Campbell, and every
[0:38] Speaker 1: week I sit down with an expert who helps us
[0:40] Speaker 1: work out how to get more out of the clothes
[0:42] Speaker 1: you already own and tells us what is and isn't
[0:44] Speaker 1: worth adding to our wardrobe. Now do you wish you
[0:48] Speaker 1: had a little genie, a bottle or a person in
[0:51] Speaker 1: your handbag that just knew about the best sales, when
[0:54] Speaker 1: to go, when they happen, if they're worth it, Well,
[0:57] Speaker 1: now you do. And her name is Sabrina. Sabrina's from
[1:00] Speaker 1: Melbourne and she was known within her friendship group for
[1:03] Speaker 1: finding the best warehouse sales and sample sales, heading there early,
[1:07] Speaker 1: scoping them out and then telling her friends. Vice was
[1:10] Speaker 1: so popular she started to post on social media and
[1:13] Speaker 1: now she shares the best sales from all around the country.
[1:16] Speaker 1: So she's joining me today to talk about all things sale.
[1:19] Speaker 1: And I'm not talking about when Maya or David Jones
[1:21] Speaker 1: just has a little sale. I'm talking about archive sales,
[1:23] Speaker 1: warehouse sales, end of something sales. There's always sales happening
[1:28] Speaker 1: in real life, but thankfully now more online as well.
[1:31] Speaker 1: So Sabrina's going to tell us how she finds out
[1:33] Speaker 1: about them, whether they're worth it, the strategies to not
[1:36] Speaker 1: just get excited and buy anything, and where you can
[1:39] Speaker 1: find the best ones to shop. Sabrina, Welcome to the show.
[1:43] Speaker 1: Since I found out you were coming on, I have
[1:46] Speaker 1: been I say this most times, but I've been most
[1:49] Speaker 1: excited to talk to you than anyone this year. This
[1:52] Speaker 1: is so my alley. But before we get into the topic,
[1:55] Speaker 1: I ask new guests two questions. The first one is
[1:58] Speaker 1: can you describe your own style in three words? And
[2:01] Speaker 1: what are they? Oh? This was really hard.
[2:03] Speaker 2: I went with tailored, textured, and timeless.
[2:09] Speaker 1: Ooh we love alliteration too.
[2:12] Speaker 2: I know I really want to just throw comfortable in
[2:14] Speaker 2: their too, but it didn't work with my teas.
[2:16] Speaker 1: So yeah, I can't think of anything like leave it
[2:19] Speaker 1: with me, Okay, talk me through them? Quickly. So textured.
[2:23] Speaker 1: I mean, I love your texture top. I love texture too.
[2:25] Speaker 2: Yeah, And I don't think it's necessarily about a big
[2:27] Speaker 2: texture like for It's just I really appreciate the way
[2:30] Speaker 2: that things feel, which is why I love shopping in
[2:33] Speaker 2: person and running my hands over everything to be like
[2:36] Speaker 2: do I want this on my body?
[2:37] Speaker 1: And I feel like certain textures can feel lux and
[2:40] Speaker 1: expensive even if they weren't. Like some items, the texture
[2:43] Speaker 1: of the fabric can give fancy vibes.
[2:46] Speaker 2: Absolutely, and it can go the other way too. You
[2:48] Speaker 2: can have something that's really expensive but you feel it
[2:51] Speaker 2: and you get all that's.
[2:51] Speaker 1: Itchy, yeah, itchy, or like a fancy designer satin thing
[2:54] Speaker 1: and it's like, oh, that just looks like a bee. Okay,
[2:57] Speaker 1: I love your words. Okay. So the theory that rings
[3:00] Speaker 1: pretty true. People have a wardrobe who cares how big
[3:03] Speaker 1: it is, but they wear ten percent of all those
[3:04] Speaker 1: things more than anything else. Their favorites are They reached
[3:07] Speaker 1: for what's in your tempercent.
[3:08] Speaker 2: I live in Malbourn, so my ten percent would be coats,
[3:12] Speaker 2: all out and wear and sunglasses. I feel like a
[3:16] Speaker 2: coat and a really great pair of sunglasses at the
[3:19] Speaker 2: same time, can dress up anything at the same time
[3:22] Speaker 2: either or but I can stap a outing my active
[3:24] Speaker 2: wear trackies, tailored pants, throw a coat on, throw sunglasses.
[3:28] Speaker 1: On, so true together and you look like a alsining cognito.
[3:31] Speaker 1: I also find I was thinking because you know, coat
[3:33] Speaker 1: and then sunny's but it's often quite glary on some
[3:36] Speaker 1: of those colder days, like you know when it's overcast,
[3:38] Speaker 1: but really glary sunnies are not just a summer.
[3:40] Speaker 2: Thing, no, And you find the different lenses, so I
[3:43] Speaker 2: wear different lenses in summer, or I reach for different
[3:46] Speaker 2: pairs in summer, like yeah, yeah.
[3:49] Speaker 1: I love that, and I want to ask more about that,
[3:51] Speaker 1: but we're not here for that. We're here to say
[3:53] Speaker 1: thank you for your service, your incredible social media presence.
[3:56] Speaker 1: I can't imagine how much it saved us all. So
[3:59] Speaker 1: you've built up an amazing following finding Australia's best wearhouse sales.
[4:04] Speaker 1: Take me back to the start. How did this come about?
[4:07] Speaker 2: Gosh, I feel like we should go to the very stars.
[4:09] Speaker 1: So we start at the start. Start. If you're like,
[4:11] Speaker 1: when were you born? No, I'm joking, but.
[4:14] Speaker 2: Younger we go. I have an older sister and a
[4:17] Speaker 2: mum and we used to go to wear house sales
[4:19] Speaker 2: and outlets together. I have these really strong memories of
[4:22] Speaker 2: doing that with my mum. Bridge Road is really famous
[4:25] Speaker 2: in Melbourne back in the day for that. And as
[4:28] Speaker 2: I grew up, I developed this love and passion for
[4:30] Speaker 2: Australian designers.
[4:32] Speaker 1: Then cost of.
[4:33] Speaker 2: Living, two children, a mortgage, the brands that I loved
[4:37] Speaker 2: to wear were no longer in my budget, so I
[4:41] Speaker 2: found a way around that by going to these sales.
[4:44] Speaker 2: I would get there really early before work because I'm
[4:47] Speaker 2: a full time nine till five kind of girl, get
[4:50] Speaker 2: there soup super early in the morning. And then after
[4:52] Speaker 2: I'd been I would drive to work and on my
[4:55] Speaker 2: drive I would voice note all of my girlfriends in
[4:58] Speaker 2: my group chat. Should they go I've seen it? Yeah, yeah,
[5:02] Speaker 2: that blazer that you want. No they don't have it,
[5:04] Speaker 2: don't worry about it. Then it just eventually made its
[5:06] Speaker 2: way out of the group chat and I posted on
[5:08] Speaker 2: TikTok and realize that the group chat is everybody, Yes
[5:13] Speaker 2: it is.
[5:13] Speaker 1: And how long ago was that? I want to say,
[5:17] Speaker 1: maybe two to three years. I know how long ago? No,
[5:20] Speaker 1: it feels very fresh. Yeah, wow, that's really impressive, but
[5:24] Speaker 1: it's so true. You know. That's what podcasts as well.
[5:26] Speaker 1: They're they're friends in your ears, Like it's just women
[5:29] Speaker 1: talking about stuff and if people care about it indibtsapp,
[5:31] Speaker 1: it's generally a service to us. All that is awesome. Congratulations,
[5:34] Speaker 1: thank you. Okay, so you were driving to these sales
[5:37] Speaker 1: really early. How did you find out about them? Where
[5:40] Speaker 1: did you? I guess, get that infom Where do you
[5:42] Speaker 1: get it? Now? I'm wondering if brands like contact you
[5:44] Speaker 1: and tell you. I bet they do now, But how
[5:47] Speaker 1: did you know all this fabulous stuff?
[5:49] Speaker 2: A whole bunch of different places. I would find out
[5:51] Speaker 2: through just signing up to email, brand email addresses, posters
[5:57] Speaker 2: walking down the street.
[5:58] Speaker 1: I was going to say the amount of time I've
[5:59] Speaker 1: said to my husband if I'm driving, get your phone
[6:01] Speaker 1: out so men there's a telegraph, take a photo. And
[6:03] Speaker 1: he's like and then I'm like, oh yeah, okay, that's
[6:05] Speaker 1: the basic sale.
[6:06] Speaker 2: I've definitely made my husband go back around the block.
[6:11] Speaker 1: At the moment.
[6:12] Speaker 2: Now, brands reach out, I thought, and that's fantastic.
[6:14] Speaker 1: Because you are helping them advertise.
[6:16] Speaker 2: But I've also trained my algorithm quite hard. I like
[6:21] Speaker 2: and share every single sale related post to tell the algorithm.
[6:25] Speaker 1: This is what I want to say.
[6:26] Speaker 2: Please show me more of it.
[6:27] Speaker 1: That's why I'm getting ADHD in best friend content that
[6:30] Speaker 1: makes sense? Yeah.
[6:31] Speaker 2: Yeah, and then also things like Google alerts, just regularly
[6:35] Speaker 2: checking websites. And then you also find throughout the calendar
[6:38] Speaker 2: there is a bit of a pattern.
[6:40] Speaker 1: I was gonna ask about that too, Okay, And so
[6:42] Speaker 1: then that's all kind of I guess, amalgamated into what
[6:45] Speaker 1: you give us before we get into your personal strategy
[6:49] Speaker 1: about how to navigate these sorts of sales. Is there
[6:52] Speaker 1: and if so, what is the difference between a sample sale,
[6:55] Speaker 1: a warehouse sale, an archive sale? Closing down? So, I
[7:00] Speaker 1: mean closing out's pretty obvious, But do you find that
[7:03] Speaker 1: there's a difference. Does it dependent on the wording that
[7:05] Speaker 1: the brand's using. Is one better than the other? Is
[7:07] Speaker 1: it just like sale? I think there is a.
[7:08] Speaker 2: Little bit of new on to it. It took me
[7:10] Speaker 2: a while to figure it out. Part of it is
[7:14] Speaker 2: the way that brands also want to communicate it and
[7:16] Speaker 2: the message they want to.
[7:17] Speaker 1: Give out the feel of the sale.
[7:19] Speaker 2: But at its most basic, a sample sale will be
[7:22] Speaker 2: all of the garments that have been produced whilst designing
[7:25] Speaker 2: the items these typically in Australia are a size eight,
[7:29] Speaker 2: So if you see something that is purely a sample sale,
[7:32] Speaker 2: it's not really for everybody out of it.
[7:35] Speaker 1: It's likely to be that size. I've been to a
[7:37] Speaker 1: few where there's mostly eight, so then there might be
[7:39] Speaker 1: a rack of a few other sizes.
[7:40] Speaker 2: A little scattering, Yeah, exactly.
[7:42] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[7:43] Speaker 2: An archive sale will be past season stock, so we
[7:48] Speaker 2: call that dead stock anything that has been in the
[7:51] Speaker 2: store then made its way to its sale section and
[7:54] Speaker 2: then has been taken offline. The brands have these extra
[7:58] Speaker 2: stock and they need something to do with it, so
[7:59] Speaker 2: they try to move it on to the consumer, make
[8:01] Speaker 2: a little bit of their money back before putting it
[8:04] Speaker 2: into Unfortunately.
[8:06] Speaker 1: And the warehouse just means it's generally big and got
[8:08] Speaker 1: stuff in it. House. Sale is like a catch hole.
[8:12] Speaker 1: It's just like a term for come and buy our
[8:13] Speaker 1: stuff for cheaper. Yes, yeah, you're right. I think Archive
[8:16] Speaker 1: feels a bit like It doesn't feel so like discounty.
[8:19] Speaker 1: It kind of feels like a bit insidary. But yeah,
[8:22] Speaker 1: I've noticed certain terminologies to make their more expensive brand
[8:25] Speaker 1: still not to appear sales in Discounty, but more sort
[8:29] Speaker 1: of insidery.
[8:30] Speaker 2: Exactly, and brands can be really strategic about how they
[8:34] Speaker 2: communicate their sales and speaking to brands directly, they love
[8:37] Speaker 2: these events because they have their consumer base at shop
[8:41] Speaker 2: at full price all the time.
[8:42] Speaker 1: But then they have a.
[8:43] Speaker 2: Whole different category of people that can suddenly access their
[8:47] Speaker 2: bleating and their brand, so they and there.
[8:50] Speaker 1: An entry level and then you go, Actually, the quality
[8:52] Speaker 1: was amazing. I would consider full price absolutely interesting. All right,
[8:56] Speaker 1: I need to know all your tips and tricks. Let's
[8:58] Speaker 1: talk about your sales strategies. So first let's talk about
[9:01] Speaker 1: an IRL. Let's just got them wearhouse sales for the
[9:04] Speaker 1: sake of the whole category. Do you check out the
[9:07] Speaker 1: brand online first before to kind of guess what's there?
[9:10] Speaker 1: I mean, obviously brands you know you can probably guess
[9:13] Speaker 1: what to expect. Do you make a wish list? Do
[9:15] Speaker 1: you just wing it while you're there? What is your
[9:17] Speaker 1: in real life sale strategy?
[9:20] Speaker 2: The first thing that I would do is if I
[9:21] Speaker 2: have shopped the brand, before I go into my wardrobe,
[9:24] Speaker 2: I go through the pieces and I look at what
[9:26] Speaker 2: my size is. Smart, so then I know when I
[9:29] Speaker 2: go to the rack and the sale, I'm picking the
[9:31] Speaker 2: correct size. If you haven't shopped that brand before. I
[9:35] Speaker 2: would absolutely look up a size chart online, get your tape,
[9:38] Speaker 2: measure out and measure your body. It's going to save
[9:40] Speaker 2: you so much stress when you actually arrive at the sale. Yes,
[9:43] Speaker 2: that's put it in your notes app too, because if
[9:45] Speaker 2: you're overwhelmed in the moment, you don't have to think, oh,
[9:47] Speaker 2: what was I in the pan top?
[9:49] Speaker 1: It's there. I was shopping with my mummy's day and
[9:51] Speaker 1: she got a crumpled up piece of paper out of
[9:53] Speaker 1: her wallet and she's got her like Country Road. She
[9:55] Speaker 1: sized this and I was like, you're so cute, mom.
[9:57] Speaker 2: I love that.
[9:58] Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's she didn't want to try it on.
[10:00] Speaker 1: She knows it's a standard sid shit, that's her size.
[10:02] Speaker 1: That's so clever. All right, you walk in, I mean
[10:04] Speaker 1: what are you wearing? Do you wear something that's easy
[10:06] Speaker 1: to try things on over or whip off or you
[10:09] Speaker 1: know there's communal chaine rooms often.
[10:11] Speaker 2: If communal change rooms is a contentious point for you,
[10:14] Speaker 2: I would recommend wearing leggings and a singlet.
[10:16] Speaker 1: Yes.
[10:17] Speaker 2: If you are going to a brand that sells big gowns,
[10:20] Speaker 2: for example, like a Rachel Gilbert, then I would wear
[10:23] Speaker 2: a strap of spru perhaps some shape wear.
[10:25] Speaker 1: Think what would you wear under these clothes normally? That
[10:27] Speaker 1: is so clever.
[10:28] Speaker 2: Then you're getting a true picture of what the item
[10:30] Speaker 2: will look like on your body when you're wearing it,
[10:32] Speaker 2: and you're like.
[10:33] Speaker 1: Gosh, that's so smart. And shoes that easily slip on
[10:35] Speaker 1: and off. Because I went to a sample sale or
[10:37] Speaker 1: ware house sale a little while ago, and I had
[10:39] Speaker 1: just sneakers with laceers. But then there were shoes there
[10:41] Speaker 1: and I was like, sneaker off, sock off, shoe on.
[10:44] Speaker 1: Oh I've finished looking here. Oh look there's another one
[10:46] Speaker 1: sneaker on. You know, you've got to think about that stuff,
[10:48] Speaker 1: all right. You walk in, what do you do? What
[10:51] Speaker 1: if it's not size categorized? What if you get so
[10:54] Speaker 1: star struck like me that I'm like, oh sequence, colors, prices.
[10:57] Speaker 2: I would have a plan before you go in. Oh God,
[10:59] Speaker 2: So don't need to go in with no idea of
[11:01] Speaker 2: what you're going to get. That's where you're going to
[11:02] Speaker 2: get caught up in this hype and this excitement and
[11:05] Speaker 2: purchase things that you wouldn't normally purchase. Yes, I think
[11:08] Speaker 2: with normal shop when you go to the local shopping center,
[11:12] Speaker 2: with your girlfriends. It's not unusual to leave without buying something. Yes,
[11:16] Speaker 2: Whereas when you go to these sales, I think there
[11:18] Speaker 2: can be a pressure and a hype. And you've lined
[11:20] Speaker 2: up for so you've lined up for a certain amount
[11:23] Speaker 2: of time, you've had to find a car park.
[11:25] Speaker 1: There's a pressure to purchase, yes, And I think to
[11:27] Speaker 1: make it work, it.
[11:29] Speaker 2: Can be taken out of the situation to leave with nothing.
[11:33] Speaker 1: Oh, that is so clever.
[11:34] Speaker 2: And if you go with a girlfriend, the way that
[11:36] Speaker 2: I think about it is there's less pressure to.
[11:39] Speaker 1: Not because might get something or you both go oh
[11:42] Speaker 1: that was shit, and then you go and have a
[11:43] Speaker 1: coffee and you.
[11:44] Speaker 2: Can look at it as I've just hung out with
[11:46] Speaker 2: my I spent some time. That just has so true
[11:49] Speaker 2: a moment of connection.
[11:50] Speaker 1: Yes, okay, I want to go with you. But the plan, Yeah,
[11:54] Speaker 1: what do you like? You've got a plan? What is
[11:55] Speaker 1: this plan?
[11:56] Speaker 2: I keep a running list in my notes app in
[11:59] Speaker 2: my phone of things that I'm missing in my wardrobe.
[12:02] Speaker 2: So when I get dressed in the morning, if I
[12:04] Speaker 2: put on an outfit and then I go, oh, it
[12:06] Speaker 2: needs a light colored shoe. I don't have a light
[12:08] Speaker 2: college shoe. This is so frustrating. Pop that down in
[12:12] Speaker 2: your phone in the moment of frustration. Pop that down
[12:15] Speaker 2: because you never remember what you don't have you die.
[12:18] Speaker 1: I don't even remember what I do have. That's what
[12:20] Speaker 1: I've got so many repeat items that are almost the same.
[12:22] Speaker 2: So have a list of what you need and try
[12:25] Speaker 2: to buy from that list so that you're not overcome.
[12:27] Speaker 1: To me.
[12:28] Speaker 2: The other thing that I would think about is do
[12:30] Speaker 2: you have a holiday coming up, what kind of events
[12:32] Speaker 2: are upcoming in your calendar?
[12:34] Speaker 1: And purchase is your lifestyle generally, Like I went to
[12:37] Speaker 1: one recently and there was the most beautiful It was
[12:39] Speaker 1: a gown, and I was like, I need it, and
[12:40] Speaker 1: it's such a good price. I don't got like all
[12:43] Speaker 1: the weddings are done in my life. I don't do
[12:44] Speaker 1: a lot of fancy work events anymore. And I was like,
[12:46] Speaker 1: she's so beautiful and she's such a good price, but
[12:48] Speaker 1: I do not need her.
[12:49] Speaker 2: That was absolutely one of my tips that I had
[12:51] Speaker 2: to bring it down with purchased for your lifestyle, because
[12:53] Speaker 2: I was just saying when I started going to all
[12:55] Speaker 2: of these sales, I would buy all these beautiful things
[12:57] Speaker 2: and I address corporate yes days.
[13:00] Speaker 1: Yeah, in corporate. Now I'm with the kids. Yeah, because
[13:03] Speaker 1: I get a bit like, oh I can be carry
[13:05] Speaker 1: bradshare and I wear it tutu with some cowbourd bats
[13:06] Speaker 1: and did it and then I just don't. Yeah, so
[13:09] Speaker 1: be really you are. Yes. One tip I'll have say,
[13:12] Speaker 1: if you go in real life, if they've got like
[13:14] Speaker 1: that chart with the colored stickers or whatever, and you
[13:16] Speaker 1: know one hundred dollars, seventy dollars, fifty dollars, take a
[13:18] Speaker 1: quick photo because the charts not might be all over
[13:20] Speaker 1: the warehouse and you go, oh green, how much is green?
[13:23] Speaker 1: Was that one hundred? You know? So you've got a
[13:24] Speaker 1: photo of it in your phone and then you can
[13:26] Speaker 1: quickly decide whether you want to try that on.
[13:28] Speaker 2: I love that so much, And that's something that whenever
[13:30] Speaker 2: I go to sales early, I'm always trying to give
[13:33] Speaker 2: the brands feedback. Yes, so I love when they categorize
[13:36] Speaker 2: by size.
[13:37] Speaker 1: Yes, helps everybody, Yes really colol oh I agree.
[13:40] Speaker 2: And you also need price points in the change rooms
[13:43] Speaker 2: because that's where you make the Yeah, and there's never
[13:46] Speaker 2: that I have a budget.
[13:48] Speaker 1: What fits within my budget? Do I get that fifty dollars?
[13:50] Speaker 2: That's this smart and then we can add it all up.
[13:52] Speaker 2: We can leave what we don't want and take what
[13:54] Speaker 2: we do want.
[13:55] Speaker 1: That's so clever. Okay, so we're seeing, you know, with
[14:02] Speaker 1: the globalization of the world. That sound like one hundred,
[14:04] Speaker 1: but you know, social media shopping, you know, online is
[14:08] Speaker 1: bigger than ever before. So brands are oftentimes hosting these
[14:11] Speaker 1: sales online, whether it's a warehouse, archive clearance, whatever. They
[14:15] Speaker 1: might have a separate site, you know, when you go
[14:17] Speaker 1: to orit and then you go to oritin outlet or
[14:18] Speaker 1: Country Red Country a outlet. How do we approach online
[14:21] Speaker 1: because there's not the frenzy of people grabbing things or
[14:25] Speaker 1: getting parking or whatever, but it's still exciting. The dope
[14:29] Speaker 1: me wants to rush in. You want to click and buy.
[14:31] Speaker 1: How do you approach when there's an online sale that
[14:33] Speaker 1: might be you know, for a limit of time or
[14:35] Speaker 1: really really good. How do you do that?
[14:37] Speaker 2: Firstly, if it is a website that takes you externally,
[14:41] Speaker 2: like country are and oroton, I would also just be
[14:44] Speaker 2: really careful about the website that you're on and shopping
[14:47] Speaker 2: and making.
[14:48] Speaker 1: Sure that it is real real. My girlfriend bought so
[14:51] Speaker 1: much from the Decuba warehouse and it was a fake
[14:54] Speaker 1: website that had sponsored the ad or whatever, and she
[14:57] Speaker 1: was like, no, that's it and she got ripped off.
[14:59] Speaker 2: Yeah, so just doing that first little bit of research. Secondly,
[15:02] Speaker 2: I would have a look at the returns policy. Yeah,
[15:05] Speaker 2: that is huge. Some places are final sale, which what
[15:08] Speaker 2: you get is what.
[15:09] Speaker 1: You get, yeah with it, and with sample cells that's
[15:11] Speaker 1: generally IRL it's like you just take it.
[15:14] Speaker 2: I have luck in returning something before, and that was
[15:17] Speaker 2: because the item I think didn't last. I wore it
[15:21] Speaker 2: once and it broke apart. I contacted It was Henny actually,
[15:24] Speaker 2: and I contacted them and I said, this is what's happened,
[15:27] Speaker 2: and they were like, normally we wouldn't do this, but
[15:29] Speaker 2: we'll go okya, so.
[15:30] Speaker 1: Nice and just back to real life before we keep
[15:33] Speaker 1: going on online. But oftentimes there might even be a
[15:35] Speaker 1: separate section where it's like seconds or slightly damaged, and
[15:37] Speaker 1: they might put a little sticker that says, you know,
[15:39] Speaker 1: missing button or pulled thread, so you know what you're getting.
[15:42] Speaker 1: But with online, check the returns policy. Smart. I always
[15:45] Speaker 1: just figure you can't return it, but no you can.
[15:47] Speaker 1: It takes that risk away if.
[15:48] Speaker 2: You know the sale is coming as well. Build your
[15:51] Speaker 2: wish list before the sales start. If you are a
[15:54] Speaker 2: popular size or there is limited sizing list, it means
[15:58] Speaker 2: that if the sale goes live, let's say tomorrow, you've
[16:01] Speaker 2: already got the items in your cart. Some of them
[16:03] Speaker 2: might not make it to the sales cap. You can
[16:05] Speaker 2: get rid of those in your cart, yes, but otherwise
[16:08] Speaker 2: you can check out quite quickly and secure your size
[16:11] Speaker 2: and you know that you're getting what you want.
[16:12] Speaker 1: And again, yeah, I guess if the sales coming and you,
[16:14] Speaker 1: like you said, if you're preparing to it a real one,
[16:16] Speaker 1: but it's online, you can go to your wardrobe and
[16:18] Speaker 1: try on or check the size, or if you know
[16:20] Speaker 1: a sales coming up, or you're just interested in a brand,
[16:22] Speaker 1: try it on, install, and then head online and wish
[16:24] Speaker 1: list it. Yeah.
[16:25] Speaker 2: And one of my biggest tips for shopping online in
[16:28] Speaker 2: general is I would never see something, put it in
[16:31] Speaker 2: my cart and then check out without first putting the
[16:34] Speaker 2: item name into Google Shopping, because Google Shopping is going
[16:38] Speaker 2: to search the whole web. Yes, and you might actually
[16:41] Speaker 2: find the exact same item on a different website for
[16:45] Speaker 2: cheaper yeah.
[16:45] Speaker 1: And it might be.
[16:46] Speaker 2: Because there's a first time offer, and particularly when it
[16:49] Speaker 2: comes to smaller online boutique brands, yes, which is also
[16:52] Speaker 2: fantastic because then you're supporting small brand.
[16:55] Speaker 1: But you're still getting a barge. I use the cart
[16:56] Speaker 1: it app for that, and I always use the honey
[16:58] Speaker 1: plug in to see if anyone's got to Carfinitely use
[17:00] Speaker 1: cart it. Oh my gosh, it's so clever. Also, just
[17:03] Speaker 1: put it in you can't and leave it there because
[17:04] Speaker 1: oftentimes brands will do abandoned cart So I have a
[17:07] Speaker 1: skincare brand and after twenty four hours, I shouldn't tell
[17:09] Speaker 1: the whole all this. If there's something in your cart
[17:11] Speaker 1: and you haven't bought it, we send you a ten
[17:12] Speaker 1: percent off coade. Some have got fifteen to twenty percent.
[17:15] Speaker 1: So just leave it there if you don't need it immediately.
[17:17] Speaker 1: And I guess that's not in a sale because that's
[17:20] Speaker 1: you know, this time depends how much you want the thing.
[17:22] Speaker 1: Do you filter like I guess you felter your size,
[17:24] Speaker 1: But do you go, okay, this is a fancy brand.
[17:26] Speaker 1: I'm going to search up to three hundred.
[17:28] Speaker 2: I will often filter for the item type that I'm
[17:32] Speaker 2: looking for, then lowest to highest yes, and then go
[17:36] Speaker 2: into the price range filter yep and get rid of
[17:40] Speaker 2: anything that's really really low because you're probably going to
[17:42] Speaker 2: be like hair clips and yeah, hair clip socks and uneasy.
[17:45] Speaker 1: Yes, it's so annoying. You like, start me at the
[17:47] Speaker 1: good stuff that's cheap. Yeah, I know. I'm like, imagine
[17:50] Speaker 1: filtering high to low? Who are these people? I do
[17:53] Speaker 1: that for fun? I do it for fun too sometimes
[17:56] Speaker 1: and then I'm like what or like, you know, I
[17:58] Speaker 1: like the Vinnie's online. He's good. I feelter that high
[18:00] Speaker 1: to low because I still think, well, you know, I
[18:02] Speaker 1: get a cheap thing. Okay, that's that. Let me ask
[18:05] Speaker 1: you any red flags, like any telltale signs of a
[18:09] Speaker 1: sale not be worth the heih, the travel time, the
[18:11] Speaker 1: waiting in line. I'm going to guess that's what you're
[18:13] Speaker 1: here for. But so many times, what I've actually noticed
[18:16] Speaker 1: is a lot of brands now will do you buy
[18:18] Speaker 1: a ticket? You don't have to pay for the ticket,
[18:20] Speaker 1: but you book a time slot because you know otherwise
[18:22] Speaker 1: really popular brands, the line will snak down, the three
[18:25] Speaker 1: hour wait or whatever, and you're like, well do I wait,
[18:27] Speaker 1: I don't know, I'm starving, I need to we I
[18:29] Speaker 1: think that booking a spot is good, but have you
[18:31] Speaker 1: ever turned up to a sailing on, Well that was
[18:33] Speaker 1: a waste of time or can you suss it out
[18:35] Speaker 1: now from the outside.
[18:36] Speaker 2: I think it comes down to the brand and your
[18:38] Speaker 2: personal values around shopping in general, and whether that brand
[18:42] Speaker 2: aligns with your personal value. So that's going to be
[18:45] Speaker 2: different for everybody. And the red flags that I'd be
[18:48] Speaker 2: looking for things like quality, what's the quality of the brand,
[18:52] Speaker 2: the fabrics that they use. So I'm really cautious of
[18:56] Speaker 2: sales that I see online which I don't promote, where
[18:58] Speaker 2: it's everything is five dollars, everything is ten dollars. Yea,
[19:02] Speaker 2: I'm anglucious of the sustainability of that. Obviously that's the
[19:06] Speaker 2: bigger price points as well. Yes, but when we're getting
[19:09] Speaker 2: that low, yeah, it feels a little uncomfortable for me.
[19:13] Speaker 1: Yeah, sure. And I think also what I've learned is,
[19:15] Speaker 1: you know, warehouse sal you can make it think it's
[19:17] Speaker 1: really fancy and big, but check the if it's in
[19:19] Speaker 1: real life. Check the location. Sometimes it might just be
[19:22] Speaker 1: their little store or a little rack in their store,
[19:24] Speaker 1: but they're really hyping it up, and so you're like, yeah,
[19:26] Speaker 1: and then you get there and there's three things, you know,
[19:29] Speaker 1: I want a warehouse. Yeah, not so much, but you know,
[19:31] Speaker 1: like I want a decent amount to go through. Very good. Okay,
[19:35] Speaker 1: tell me about the change room situation. I'm fine with
[19:37] Speaker 1: communal like you say it. I mean, it's smart to
[19:40] Speaker 1: wear the shape where I remember once recently I was
[19:42] Speaker 1: wearing the daggiest period unders. I do that all the time.
[19:45] Speaker 1: But then I wanted to try on this shear thing.
[19:46] Speaker 1: There were so many like helpful women that worked for
[19:48] Speaker 1: the brands, and I was like, oh, I just don't
[19:50] Speaker 1: need to look at this bit. But then I'm like,
[19:52] Speaker 1: we're all women in one area, But do you have
[19:55] Speaker 1: any advice? Do you do the whole thing and then
[19:58] Speaker 1: try on? Do you ever get an arms full? Try
[20:00] Speaker 1: those on? Go back?
[20:01] Speaker 2: It's a little bit different for me because I am
[20:02] Speaker 2: lucky enough to go a little bit early. Because usually
[20:05] Speaker 2: I do a loop around and then suss it out.
[20:08] Speaker 2: I will sus it out in general and then do
[20:11] Speaker 2: another loop and try on.
[20:12] Speaker 1: Clever, I go to the back first two bacond if
[20:14] Speaker 1: it's big and it's busy, because people just get in
[20:16] Speaker 1: and start looking, I try and go that way. Can
[20:18] Speaker 1: I tell you my first thing that I would do? Yes?
[20:20] Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes, if there is a samples rack, I
[20:23] Speaker 2: would go straight there, straight away. That's my first point
[20:26] Speaker 2: of call. If you're not sure, because maybe I haven't
[20:29] Speaker 2: mentioned it in a post, ask the person at the door. Yes,
[20:32] Speaker 2: as soon as you walk in, point me to the
[20:33] Speaker 2: samples rack. Yes, that is where you're going to get
[20:36] Speaker 2: the cheapest items. There's also going to be one off
[20:39] Speaker 2: items that aren't there amongst everything else, so that is
[20:42] Speaker 2: like stress super super best hoist.
[20:46] Speaker 1: Or like I said before, sometimes it's a faulty one
[20:48] Speaker 1: or a just damage, but it's a missing button and
[20:50] Speaker 1: it's like a seven hundred dollar jack at sixty bucks. Oh,
[20:52] Speaker 1: buy a button. I don't care if it doesn't match. Yeah. Yeah.
[20:54] Speaker 2: And then my second point of call, after you've done
[20:56] Speaker 2: your samples rack would be go to the shoes and
[20:59] Speaker 2: accessories because often what happens with brands is they do
[21:03] Speaker 2: these glamorous, giant photo shoots for websites, for product or
[21:07] Speaker 2: for advertising, and they'll have their u that they're selling,
[21:10] Speaker 2: but then they style it with other brands. So quite
[21:14] Speaker 2: often you'll go to these sales and you can find
[21:16] Speaker 2: shoes accessories from Lowe, Jack Mors. It's not uncommon the
[21:22] Speaker 2: mal spend big on the excess is to really make
[21:25] Speaker 2: their clothes look amazing and at that level.
[21:27] Speaker 1: And I think also maybe if it's a sample sale,
[21:30] Speaker 1: you know they might have bags hats that are one size,
[21:33] Speaker 1: and you know that ever fits everyone good for gifts
[21:35] Speaker 1: as well. Again, I went to one recently can you
[21:37] Speaker 1: tell that you and I are twins? And I went
[21:39] Speaker 1: to the shoes and it was a separate brand, but
[21:42] Speaker 1: a brand that I really like, and I went, oh
[21:44] Speaker 1: my god, I love those shoes. Oh my god, their
[21:45] Speaker 1: size forty, Oh my god, there's on one pair and
[21:47] Speaker 1: she goes, do you know what? She goes, We custom
[21:48] Speaker 1: made those for Kendall Jennal for a photo shit and
[21:51] Speaker 1: I was like, didn't she want them? And She's like
[21:53] Speaker 1: ten billion pairs. I was like, I'm like, I've got
[21:56] Speaker 1: candle shoes. So you're right. It's like there's other brands,
[22:00] Speaker 1: oftentimes Within or Swim or you know, like a little section.
[22:03] Speaker 1: Some have kids sections.
[22:05] Speaker 2: And you said before that a sample size in clothing
[22:08] Speaker 2: is usually an age. Typically footwear is a forty when
[22:11] Speaker 2: it comes to photo shoes, so we were forty two.
[22:14] Speaker 1: Oh my god. I love being a forty only in
[22:16] Speaker 1: a sample sale. It's because I know I'm not sample clothing.
[22:19] Speaker 1: I am sample hot and like, thank you models for
[22:22] Speaker 1: having big feet, or you know, anyone can wear a
[22:24] Speaker 1: slightly bigger shoe. Yeah, exact. Oh my gosh, it's so true. Okay,
[22:27] Speaker 1: the single best, most incredible bargain you've personally found. Can
[22:32] Speaker 1: you narrow that down? It's a really hard question. I
[22:35] Speaker 1: bet I've got a couple. Yes, I will let you
[22:38] Speaker 1: hold one and a new one.
[22:39] Speaker 2: Okay, great, Okay, sure do these are my wedding shoes.
[22:43] Speaker 2: I picked these up at a designer shoe sale. They
[22:47] Speaker 2: retail for usually over a thousand dollars. I picked them
[22:51] Speaker 2: up for three hundred.
[22:52] Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, they're so cool and not dissing normal
[22:56] Speaker 1: buttle shoes. But I'm sure you've worn them since, Like
[22:58] Speaker 1: they're just cool shoes. They're just very uncomfortable shoes. Well,
[23:02] Speaker 1: they're beautiful. They are carter bar shoes, I think, Yeah
[23:05] Speaker 1: they are. Yeah, yeah, such an uber shoe. Yeah. Oh
[23:08] Speaker 1: they're absolutely good.
[23:10] Speaker 2: They are my favorite and an old one. My most
[23:13] Speaker 2: recent favorite pick would be I walked into a brand
[23:18] Speaker 2: in Melbourne, a local small brand. They had a sale,
[23:21] Speaker 2: they had a sample rack I picked up a wool
[23:23] Speaker 2: blend coat the retails for about six hundred dollars for
[23:26] Speaker 2: one hundred dollars, so.
[23:28] Speaker 1: Good in the middle. Yeah, exactly, like you want to
[23:31] Speaker 1: wear it immediately, and I have almost every day. So
[23:35] Speaker 1: I feel like I'll come down to Melbourne, we'll do
[23:37] Speaker 1: a round and then you come up to Sitney and
[23:38] Speaker 1: I'll show you mine. You show me mine and you
[23:40] Speaker 1: show me yours. All right? Any regrets, surely you've had regrets.
[23:43] Speaker 1: I'm a dopamine shopper. I'm an emotional shopper. I get
[23:46] Speaker 1: swept up in the moment. Hence my carry bread short
[23:48] Speaker 1: cowboy boots. Any regrets that you've bought in the heat
[23:51] Speaker 1: in the moment that maybe still have tags on or
[23:53] Speaker 1: you were like, I.
[23:54] Speaker 2: Have something that still have tags on them that aren't
[23:56] Speaker 2: necessarily regrets. Like we spoke about Halia, it's occasion where
[24:00] Speaker 2: I've got a couple of dresses stored away waiting for.
[24:03] Speaker 1: Me to be invited somewhere.
[24:04] Speaker 2: Fabulous, me too, But regrets earlier in my day would
[24:08] Speaker 2: be shopping for who I wanted to be. Yes, like
[24:11] Speaker 2: that Harry Bradshaw version of myself. That's not realistic to
[24:14] Speaker 2: who I am. Yeah, be where the regret to come from?
[24:16] Speaker 1: Okay? And do you think do you ever get swayed
[24:19] Speaker 1: that because the price is so good? You know, it
[24:20] Speaker 1: was six hundred and now it's sixty. Do you You're
[24:23] Speaker 1: obviously a seasoned vet. Now you can stop that from
[24:26] Speaker 1: making you go, wow, I'm saving five hundred and forty
[24:28] Speaker 1: dollars because you're not what you're actually spending sixty dollars? Absolutely,
[24:31] Speaker 1: do you try and take that out of the equation
[24:32] Speaker 1: and just go do I love this item? Will I
[24:34] Speaker 1: wear this item? I sometimes ask myself would I buy
[24:36] Speaker 1: this full price? Yes?
[24:38] Speaker 2: Clever and obviously that's not necessarily that it would be
[24:41] Speaker 2: in your budget?
[24:42] Speaker 1: Yes?
[24:43] Speaker 2: But would you have it in your wardrobe? Would you
[24:45] Speaker 2: make space for it?
[24:46] Speaker 1: Yes?
[24:46] Speaker 2: Is it a good way to think about it? And
[24:48] Speaker 2: it's really difficult in those moments where you're trying to go,
[24:52] Speaker 2: do I buy this because it's really cheap? Is it
[24:54] Speaker 2: in my budget? Does it through my lifestyle? And it's
[24:57] Speaker 2: hard to separate that emotion at the moment, But I
[24:59] Speaker 2: guarantee you that three days later, you're not sitting there
[25:02] Speaker 2: thinking about that.
[25:03] Speaker 1: You're not left behind it. You're not and at the
[25:05] Speaker 1: end of the day, you've spent some money. Yeah, you
[25:07] Speaker 1: might have saved a lot of money if you were
[25:08] Speaker 1: going to buy it full price. A spit money.
[25:10] Speaker 2: And that's where we need great girlfriends when we go
[25:12] Speaker 2: shopping with us.
[25:13] Speaker 1: Not to encourage too much. Oh, don't come with me then.
[25:15] Speaker 2: But to say is this actually.
[25:18] Speaker 1: What you want? Yes? I almost have to be a
[25:20] Speaker 1: solo shop. I went to a vinteo to market on
[25:21] Speaker 1: the weekend with a girlfriend. We went there and had breakfast,
[25:23] Speaker 1: had coffee, and we walked in and went buy. But we
[25:25] Speaker 1: taxted each other photos and then we met up at
[25:27] Speaker 1: the end. Okay, is there anything you would never buy from?
[25:31] Speaker 1: I mean we're talking fashion, but I mean there's you
[25:33] Speaker 1: can also get home wears, beauty whatever. But like, I
[25:37] Speaker 1: can't think of anything I wouldn't buy. I mean, I
[25:38] Speaker 1: wouldn't buy used underwear, but I can't imagine they're being
[25:40] Speaker 1: a used underwear war house sale. I would find it
[25:43] Speaker 1: really hard to buy swimwear. Yeah, and that's the thing
[25:46] Speaker 1: that you do really want to try on, and you
[25:48] Speaker 1: can try on over undies.
[25:49] Speaker 2: But and that's also a really vulnerable thing to do
[25:52] Speaker 2: in a communal change area.
[25:53] Speaker 1: I would.
[25:54] Speaker 2: Usually it's an internal battle to suit me do I like, yeah,
[25:58] Speaker 2: I'm not sure.
[25:58] Speaker 1: And even if you know the brand, like so, for example,
[26:00] Speaker 1: I know my size in Seafoldy, but the cuts can
[26:03] Speaker 1: make things look different, so you often want to try
[26:05] Speaker 1: it on and.
[26:05] Speaker 2: You really almost want to like sit and think on
[26:09] Speaker 2: that peace I agreetion. Yeah, still I'll go to any
[26:12] Speaker 2: all right.
[26:13] Speaker 1: So besides following you, which we're all going to do
[26:14] Speaker 1: when you're fabulous, I mean you're Melbourne based, do you
[26:17] Speaker 1: find that you mostly post about Melbourne?
[26:19] Speaker 2: I try to post about everything Australia white.
[26:21] Speaker 1: Okay.
[26:21] Speaker 2: If I find out about a sale, everything makes it
[26:24] Speaker 2: into my Instagram story.
[26:25] Speaker 1: Okay, Oh you're so good. So still work full time?
[26:28] Speaker 1: It's just a reesia. Yeah, it's true. It's just Oresia
[26:31] Speaker 1: and it's you know, it's your passion. Some people play golf.
[26:33] Speaker 2: I do have people in Sydney and also in Brisbane
[26:37] Speaker 2: who will film for me oh and send and then
[26:40] Speaker 2: I will edit and post that. So, being of the
[26:43] Speaker 2: age that I am, I've got lots of girl friends
[26:45] Speaker 2: on maternity leave.
[26:46] Speaker 1: Yes, and it's a fabulous.
[26:47] Speaker 2: Opportunity for me, Like, hey, do you want to do
[26:49] Speaker 2: this on your day, I can give you some clothing
[26:54] Speaker 2: and I'll be able to post that. But I would
[26:56] Speaker 2: really love to be able to post about everything everywhere.
[26:58] Speaker 1: And I think that's important too. A lot of people
[27:00] Speaker 1: you know live regionally or rurally, and you know, going
[27:02] Speaker 1: irl is a mission no matter what. So the more online,
[27:07] Speaker 1: the better that we hear about. So you were touching
[27:14] Speaker 1: on before we get into bougie budget times of the year.
[27:16] Speaker 1: I think that you know, we've come to expect click frenzy,
[27:21] Speaker 1: Black Friday and all of that, But do you find
[27:23] Speaker 1: that these warehouse or archive sales happen seasonally or is
[27:28] Speaker 1: there kind of a flow to that they are more.
[27:30] Speaker 2: Consistent than they used to be through the year. March
[27:34] Speaker 2: is the most busy time March, and now it bleeds
[27:38] Speaker 2: into April.
[27:39] Speaker 1: Effairs, my birthday's end of March. Cash for the sales
[27:43] Speaker 1: and no wonder why.
[27:45] Speaker 2: I think it comes down to the calendars.
[27:48] Speaker 1: And I think probably clearing infantry before the end of
[27:50] Speaker 1: financial year.
[27:51] Speaker 2: Absolutely, And we look at the period that we're in
[27:54] Speaker 2: now towards the end of the year, and there is
[27:57] Speaker 2: a huge online you know, we've got Black Friday, Christmas, So.
[28:02] Speaker 1: Like I will never pay for price efforts on that
[28:04] Speaker 1: desperately need it. Something's always on sale, and I think
[28:07] Speaker 1: that's we've taught people to be generated Salem. Yeah, which
[28:11] Speaker 1: I like. It's very expensive. How wud are these? Okay,
[28:21] Speaker 1: Bougian budget, I could have bring specific things because I
[28:25] Speaker 1: have so much to say. I want you to bring
[28:27] Speaker 1: specific things if you want. Let's talk about your budgets first. Okay,
[28:31] Speaker 1: So my budget is you touched on it earlier?
[28:35] Speaker 2: Which on outlet? Love it silk scarves everywhere? Yes, I
[28:39] Speaker 2: have one, love it, wear it to death, so many
[28:42] Speaker 2: ways to wear it. So this is a chocolate brown
[28:45] Speaker 2: poke it ot silk scarf, so hitting ticktick tick on
[28:48] Speaker 2: the trends. I believe it is about one hundred and
[28:51] Speaker 2: thirty dollars full price. It is reduced on the outlet,
[28:55] Speaker 2: and then when you put it in your cart, it's
[28:56] Speaker 2: ex twenty percent off, so it's under one hundred dollars.
[28:59] Speaker 1: Amazing.
[29:00] Speaker 2: However, I know everybody's idea of budget is different. If
[29:03] Speaker 2: you're happy to swap out your hundred percent silk for
[29:05] Speaker 2: a polyester, then ruby by cotton, non have a pays
[29:09] Speaker 2: chocolate scar I think thirteen dollars.
[29:13] Speaker 1: On so good. I love the Origin outlet because of
[29:16] Speaker 1: what I do is I stuck up on the umbrellas
[29:18] Speaker 1: where they're extra tramity stoff is the best gift. Everybody
[29:21] Speaker 1: wants a bottle of really nice olive oil that you
[29:23] Speaker 1: can't get at oritin, but everyone needs an umbrella. And
[29:26] Speaker 1: so I've got a cupboard full of umbrellas ready for gifts. Okay, well,
[29:30] Speaker 1: what's my budget? Okay? My budget is a story. A
[29:32] Speaker 1: few weeks ago, my husband and I had the weekend
[29:35] Speaker 1: off from our childhood going away great. His favorite brand
[29:37] Speaker 1: is Basic. He goes to the sample sale once a
[29:40] Speaker 1: year and it happened to be on the Friday, will
[29:43] Speaker 1: driving to go away. So we stopped into the sale
[29:45] Speaker 1: and it was really good. I got a few things,
[29:47] Speaker 1: He got a lot of things like for him. A
[29:49] Speaker 1: lot of things is like for And then we went
[29:51] Speaker 1: on a weekend away. He unfortunate had to leave early
[29:53] Speaker 1: and then so we had separate cars. And on Sunday,
[29:56] Speaker 1: on the drive back, I was like, oh, I'm kind
[29:57] Speaker 1: of driving past where that is in Sydney to get home.
[30:00] Speaker 1: So I was like, oh, I didn't really have a
[30:01] Speaker 1: good look. I was helping him popped into the last
[30:03] Speaker 1: few hours of the Basic sale. Everything was down to
[30:06] Speaker 1: forty five dollars. I'm talking leather pants, wow, feel a
[30:10] Speaker 1: bag for whatever? And so I filled these two paper bags.
[30:13] Speaker 1: They give you the bags and I went to the man.
[30:14] Speaker 1: I was like, am I taking the piece? And he's like, no,
[30:16] Speaker 1: it's fine. You counted them all. I think I got
[30:18] Speaker 1: nineteen things for one hundred dollars. So if there is
[30:20] Speaker 1: a sale that you like, I mean, don't wait till
[30:23] Speaker 1: the end. But you can always ask if you go
[30:24] Speaker 1: on the first day or you've been before, say hey,
[30:27] Speaker 1: on the last day or the last half day, do
[30:29] Speaker 1: you discount more? And what do you do? I still
[30:33] Speaker 1: like when I think about it, I still get happy
[30:34] Speaker 1: to dopamine vibes that everything I got I didn't try
[30:37] Speaker 1: a lot on, but I know my size in Basic
[30:39] Speaker 1: and I'd say, out of the nineteen things, sixteen are
[30:42] Speaker 1: absolute winners. Wow. Yeah, So just really comment for brands
[30:45] Speaker 1: to further reduce See. I wasn't sure because I'm normally
[30:48] Speaker 1: a first girl, Like I'm excited, so am I true?
[30:50] Speaker 1: But maybe if you're not sure about a sale, yes,
[30:53] Speaker 1: go the last day, go the last day or send
[30:55] Speaker 1: someone first and then you know, Okay, it's worth it,
[30:58] Speaker 1: but I don't care for it really, so I'll go
[30:59] Speaker 1: on the last day and see what's left. Oh my god,
[31:01] Speaker 1: I was my happiest day. What's your bougie?
[31:05] Speaker 2: My bougie is from the Dome, which is an online
[31:08] Speaker 2: out again I'm not sure.
[31:09] Speaker 1: The Dom yet.
[31:10] Speaker 2: So it's a multi brands multi brands. Yeah, okay, a
[31:14] Speaker 2: lot of Australian on there, which.
[31:16] Speaker 1: Is I get their rats all the time. I will
[31:18] Speaker 1: click now.
[31:19] Speaker 2: And they have a further percentage or amount off if
[31:22] Speaker 2: you're first sign up. So this is a sant Agny dress.
[31:26] Speaker 2: It is a black and column dress strapless. You could
[31:31] Speaker 2: wear it a really fancy event with heels and a
[31:34] Speaker 2: big ear ring, or you could wear it with a
[31:36] Speaker 2: T shirt underneath.
[31:39] Speaker 1: Exactly I've sold it. Is it still online? It is?
[31:43] Speaker 2: So this stress is available in so many different sizes
[31:46] Speaker 2: and retails for almost five hundred dollars and then it
[31:49] Speaker 2: is reduced to under two hundreds for a timeless dress
[31:53] Speaker 2: for a really timeless, fantastic.
[31:57] Speaker 1: Australian half rice. I'm going on the Dom. Oh my gosh,
[32:00] Speaker 1: like I need another thing like a hole in the head. Well,
[32:02] Speaker 1: my bougie. Again, it's not an item, but it's a
[32:05] Speaker 1: place and a story. So you're Melbourne based, I wonder
[32:08] Speaker 1: if there is a similar one near you. So we
[32:11] Speaker 1: have in Sydney. We've got Birkenay Point, which is quite good.
[32:13] Speaker 1: We've got the Dfos. But recently opened and now opening
[32:16] Speaker 1: more stores is the Rosebary Engine Yards. I was there today.
[32:20] Speaker 1: Oh my god, you went. So there's Scanning, a Theatore
[32:22] Speaker 1: that's where the Basic Sale was. There's Scaling. The Theatore
[32:25] Speaker 1: is the most recent one to open. There's Age, there's
[32:27] Speaker 1: Camilla and Mark, There's Camilla, there's John Luggage, yes, Victorian Woods,
[32:32] Speaker 1: few and far homewares. So if you're in Sydney, or
[32:34] Speaker 1: you're planning a trip to Sydney, definitely set aside half
[32:37] Speaker 1: a day. I took two of my girlfriends who work
[32:39] Speaker 1: in corporate and they get a lot from Camilla and
[32:40] Speaker 1: Mark and scan on Theodore. There's the Basic there for
[32:44] Speaker 1: my husband. There's a bunch of other stores Oreton and
[32:46] Speaker 1: so what I like is because that area of Sydney,
[32:48] Speaker 1: if you're not familiar kind of that Alexandra rose Rey,
[32:50] Speaker 1: there used to be a lot of them, but they
[32:51] Speaker 1: were very spread out and it was just a room
[32:53] Speaker 1: in their head office or whatever. So they've just put
[32:55] Speaker 1: it all in one roof Black Star Bakries next door.
[32:58] Speaker 1: It's kind of a destination now, but of your premium brands.
[33:02] Speaker 2: Absolutely and really close to the airport. Like you said,
[33:04] Speaker 2: if you are traveling into Sydney, yes, it's like twenty minutes.
[33:08] Speaker 1: I'm so glad you've been. I was, oh, oh my gosh,
[33:10] Speaker 1: you need to go. It's really great. A couple of
[33:12] Speaker 1: years ago when it was first yes, and there was
[33:14] Speaker 1: only a couple of stores there, really has gained momentum
[33:17] Speaker 1: as brands a movie. Yes, resident, I've found most Aussie
[33:20] Speaker 1: brands that are kind of based in that area. As
[33:21] Speaker 1: their lease comes up, they will then put like a
[33:24] Speaker 1: store in there, and then those stores are reduced. Sometimes
[33:26] Speaker 1: there's a small amount of food price, but then they
[33:28] Speaker 1: have a sale on a saleh so good. If anyone
[33:31] Speaker 1: has one of those in their city or similar, we
[33:34] Speaker 1: want to know. Sabrina, thank you so much. You are
