[0:10] Speaker 1: You're listening to a MoMA Mia podcast. Mamma Mia acknowledges
[0:15] Speaker 1: the traditional owners of land and waters that this podcast
[0:18] Speaker 1: is recorded on Hi Friends. It's Lee here, and it's Monday,
[0:22] Speaker 1: and not everyone loves Monday, but I do because over
[0:25] Speaker 1: on you Beauty, we have so much fun. And we
[0:27] Speaker 1: have a new segment called Beauty Bite. It's where Kelly
[0:30] Speaker 1: and I share random rogue and genius news tips or tricks.
[0:35] Speaker 1: So if you want to write near Monday, have a listen.
[0:38] Speaker 1: Makeup is my therapy. I'm in love, I'm obsessed and
[0:42] Speaker 1: I don't even feel jailty your body. Hello, and welcome
[0:50] Speaker 1: to you Beauty, the Podcast for Your Face.
[0:52] Speaker 2: I'm Lee Campbell, I'm Kelly mccarroth, and you've got some
[0:54] Speaker 2: news for me.
[0:55] Speaker 1: It came out a few weeks ago now, but I
[0:57] Speaker 1: just said to you off air, did you see it?
[0:58] Speaker 1: But algorithm and I was like the Skim's beauty product launch.
[1:04] Speaker 1: It is one of those sort of you know how
[1:06] Speaker 1: you can get the Kabad and j beauty sheet masks
[1:08] Speaker 1: that have the fluid like get liquid and they snatched
[1:11] Speaker 1: your jaw. Yeah, so she's made this full like head
[1:14] Speaker 1: thing that snatches your jaw. The outrage has mean outrageous,
[1:19] Speaker 1: which I do agree with because it's like, can we
[1:22] Speaker 1: even just relax, But also she's definitely not the first
[1:25] Speaker 1: person to do it. They've been around for so long. No, yeah,
[1:28] Speaker 1: she's coppying so much criticism because like it's like impossible
[1:31] Speaker 1: beauty standards. You know, her whole brand is like sucking
[1:34] Speaker 1: in and perking up and did it, which I agree,
[1:36] Speaker 1: But then I also just think because she's the most
[1:39] Speaker 1: famous person to do it and it's.
[1:40] Speaker 2: Her, Yeah, I completely agree with you, Like, I don't
[1:43] Speaker 2: think she should be getting flack when so many other
[1:46] Speaker 2: brands do this.
[1:46] Speaker 1: Also, they wouldn't I know. I looked back in my
[1:49] Speaker 1: camera roll and I had an old one. I'll have
[1:50] Speaker 1: to find what it was. I mean, I don't have
[1:52] Speaker 1: it anymore. It was a single ye sheet mask thing,
[1:54] Speaker 1: but it went over your face and up behind your ears,
[1:56] Speaker 1: and you were meant to wear it for an hour and.
[1:57] Speaker 2: It's too uncomfortable.
[1:58] Speaker 1: I mean I wore it for an hour before an event.
[2:00] Speaker 1: I wouldn't do it all the time.
[2:01] Speaker 2: But before an advent or a photo or something sort
[2:04] Speaker 2: of fancy thing. They actually do definitely work. But she
[2:06] Speaker 2: kind convent it. She invented, so why we shout at her?
[2:10] Speaker 1: I don't know. Anyway, that's a little bit of beauty news.
[2:12] Speaker 1: But what are we doing today?
[2:15] Speaker 2: I couldn't help, but Wonder asked me anything.
[2:17] Speaker 1: You ask many questions.
[2:20] Speaker 2: Well, we are answering your questions. So if you do
[2:22] Speaker 2: have a question, please let us know. You can dm
[2:25] Speaker 2: us as our lovely Olivia has today. Well, I'll read
[2:28] Speaker 2: what Olivia's Oh yes, please, Lovelyly. Is it okay to
[2:33] Speaker 2: send you a question for the Beauty podcast?
[2:35] Speaker 1: Of course.
[2:36] Speaker 2: I'm starting to see products with azalic acid, but I'm
[2:39] Speaker 2: not sure what it does. Where do I fit it
[2:41] Speaker 2: into my routine? Is it like an exfoliating acid, or
[2:44] Speaker 2: as you said, some serums that say acid are actually hydrating.
[2:48] Speaker 2: All of the acids confuse me and I don't want
[2:50] Speaker 2: to strip my skin.
[2:52] Speaker 1: Such a good question, and you're right to be cautious
[2:56] Speaker 1: before you add it first up.
[2:58] Speaker 2: This has just reminded me that so many years ago
[3:00] Speaker 2: I did a Thursday episode Deep Dive like the A
[3:04] Speaker 2: to Z of acids just acids, not ingredients.
[3:07] Speaker 1: Acids?
[3:08] Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it was. It's like and I didn't touch
[3:10] Speaker 2: on some of I think I did make a couple
[3:14] Speaker 2: of jokes more do you. I'm sure how many of
[3:17] Speaker 2: them made it into the final cut, but.
[3:19] Speaker 1: God, and I'm so silly. I just thought, oh, yeah,
[3:21] Speaker 1: because this is a good one for Z. But it
[3:22] Speaker 1: starts with but you do there's a Z acid? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[3:27] Speaker 1: Well let's explain as alic acid for Olivia and the ubis,
[3:30] Speaker 1: because there's confusion around it and it feels quite underground.
[3:33] Speaker 1: Are quite new, and that's for a reason. So up
[3:36] Speaker 1: until about this time last year, late well mid to
[3:39] Speaker 1: late twenty twenty four, the TG changed its rules and
[3:42] Speaker 1: restrictions around the use of marketing and how you could
[3:45] Speaker 1: buy asalic acid. So at a certain percentage it was
[3:48] Speaker 1: considered a drug, you know, a medicine, so it was
[3:51] Speaker 1: behind the counter or prescription. But then they changed that.
[3:54] Speaker 1: Still there's variations around the percentage, but now brands that
[3:59] Speaker 1: you can just walk in and pick up can formulate
[4:01] Speaker 1: with it. So it feels like, oh, I don't know this,
[4:03] Speaker 1: but it's because it was more restricted before. So Olivia
[4:07] Speaker 1: is asking, is it exfoliating mildly? Let me tell you
[4:10] Speaker 1: about it, because you might not need it, my friend, Olivia,
[4:14] Speaker 1: So it's a pretty great ingredient. It helps with rhseaesia,
[4:18] Speaker 1: it helps with acne or breakouts, and it helps with hyperpigmentation.
[4:22] Speaker 1: So it's a bit of an all rounder, kind of
[4:24] Speaker 1: like we hear about our retinol a little bit like
[4:28] Speaker 1: nicinamide sort of.
[4:30] Speaker 2: I would say it's better for someone with rose asia
[4:32] Speaker 2: than retinol. Not always, oh yes, just because like a
[4:36] Speaker 2: lot of my roseesia girls love this ingredient because it's
[4:40] Speaker 2: gentle enough, like retinol is quite intense, so oh yeah,
[4:44] Speaker 2: rose sa is obviously very food sec yeah, exact people,
[4:49] Speaker 2: that's it. And so I mean it also depends on
[4:51] Speaker 2: the strength you get, same with retinol, but it's antibacterial
[4:54] Speaker 2: and anti inflammatory, which is why it's also great for breakouts.
[4:57] Speaker 2: And because it is an acid, like a proper acid,
[5:00] Speaker 2: not a hyaluronic acid, which they should just change that name.
[5:03] Speaker 2: It is gently exfoliating, so it can fade the marks
[5:06] Speaker 2: you might get after a breakout, you know, hyperpic imitation,
[5:10] Speaker 2: post blemish marks. It can reduce breakouts, which we love.
[5:14] Speaker 2: And I've been getting quite a few verslated, Oh my god,
[5:16] Speaker 2: why mercury are you in retrograde? Why is it coming
[5:20] Speaker 2: out on our skin.
[5:21] Speaker 1: I think it's like, well, one of those girls needs
[5:22] Speaker 1: to taste small acneve products. It's safer sensitive skin. Again,
[5:27] Speaker 1: still err on the side of caution. And it can
[5:29] Speaker 1: be used during pregnancy, which is great because a lot
[5:32] Speaker 1: of you know, things that are for pigmentation or you know,
[5:35] Speaker 1: anything that feels like it's doing anything you feel like
[5:36] Speaker 1: you can't use. So you can use it daily, but
[5:39] Speaker 1: start slow. You can even kind of use it morning
[5:42] Speaker 1: and night depending on the product, but it starts slow
[5:44] Speaker 1: just because it is an active ingredient. Before I tell
[5:47] Speaker 1: you some products, you need to assess the rest of
[5:49] Speaker 1: your routine because if you know this is quite an
[5:52] Speaker 1: active product, if you're already using a retinol, a vitamin
[5:55] Speaker 1: C A like, yeah, you don't need it. No, you
[5:58] Speaker 1: probably don't need it, but it might be worthwhile assessing
[6:01] Speaker 1: your whole routine and it could replace something else if
[6:03] Speaker 1: it's better for you. So look at your routine as
[6:05] Speaker 1: a whole. Check out what's active. Check out what they're doing,
[6:08] Speaker 1: because you don't want to ever do it. Some brands
[6:11] Speaker 1: our beautiful favorite to one of our favorite products, You
[6:13] Speaker 1: and I kellical brands, Naturia. They have two azaleic acid
[6:16] Speaker 1: products that's made in the US, so I think they
[6:19] Speaker 1: have always had, you know, more lax restrictions there, so
[6:22] Speaker 1: they brought it here. As clear is really popular. It's
[6:26] Speaker 1: just a pharmacy brand, quite not sexy packaging. It's a
[6:30] Speaker 1: Z clear that's more for you kind of hardcore breakouts.
[6:34] Speaker 1: Like I put that in the acne category where you
[6:36] Speaker 1: would go to like that medical acne area in the pharmacy.
[6:39] Speaker 1: Paula's choice of course Laroche Paz and a brand I
[6:42] Speaker 1: hadn't heard of, but it's got amazing reviews. Hello Skin,
[6:45] Speaker 1: they've got a really good one. So if you do
[6:47] Speaker 1: Google or go and have a look, you'll find that
[6:49] Speaker 1: most azalek acid products are marketed to breakouts. But have
[6:53] Speaker 1: a look around. I feel like now, I mean that
[6:55] Speaker 1: was a year ago that the TGA lifted the restrictions.
[6:58] Speaker 1: It's definitely more, but I think more and more brands
[7:00] Speaker 1: are like, oh okay, we can use that now in
[7:02] Speaker 1: a better percentage, or we can talk about that now.
[7:04] Speaker 1: So I think we'll see more and more of it.
[7:06] Speaker 1: I did not have any in my collection. I want
[7:09] Speaker 1: to give it a go, obviously, put for me, I
[7:10] Speaker 1: mean I do get the odd spot, but for me,
[7:13] Speaker 1: the pigmentation situation and I'm not sensitive, but I'm sensorized
[7:18] Speaker 1: my skin from all the chopping and change. Yeah, so
[7:21] Speaker 1: I'm gonna hunt one out and report back. Yeah, report
[7:24] Speaker 1: back because I went through my bathroom and I was like,
[7:25] Speaker 1: I've got to have one somewhere. Nope. Yeah, So long
[7:29] Speaker 1: story short, Olivia, check out what you're doing. If you've
[7:31] Speaker 1: got breakouts, give it a go. If you're already using
[7:34] Speaker 1: a RETINOLV that you laugh. I wouldn't switch, but that's
[7:36] Speaker 1: what that guy is.
[7:43] Speaker 2: Kaz has also sent to us a DM. Hello, I
[7:46] Speaker 2: love the pod, especially Monday apps. My question is about
[7:51] Speaker 2: lines and creepy skin on the neck, I mean my
[7:53] Speaker 2: early fifties and really noticing this. I've tried the boost
[7:57] Speaker 2: Lab Next serum and now the Trinny Elevator cream with
[8:00] Speaker 2: only very minor results. What are your suggestions any other
[8:04] Speaker 2: serums or skin treatments I could try?
[8:06] Speaker 1: Thank you so much, Kaz Cauz. I feel you early fifties.
[8:11] Speaker 1: I'm forty three and I swear well not overnight, but
[8:14] Speaker 1: and I've always done my neck care.
[8:16] Speaker 2: You've got a beautiful net.
[8:17] Speaker 1: Oh becaus yes, okay, so listen, we could only do
[8:22] Speaker 1: so much topically, and whatever we're going to do, we
[8:25] Speaker 1: have to do consistently and be patient. So the number
[8:29] Speaker 1: one recommended thing for this area is retinal. But the
[8:32] Speaker 1: skin from your neck, like you'd under your chin down
[8:35] Speaker 1: to here, is thinner and much more sensitive to the
[8:38] Speaker 1: skin on your face minus the skin under your eyes,
[8:40] Speaker 1: which is pretty much similar to this skin. So don't
[8:42] Speaker 1: go whacking your prescription retinal or your strong retinal straight
[8:46] Speaker 1: down here.
[8:46] Speaker 2: You taught me that, and that blew my mind. I
[8:48] Speaker 2: don't know why I didn't know that, but I just
[8:50] Speaker 2: always assumed. I know, not it makes sense, but I always
[8:53] Speaker 2: assumed anything that wasn't your.
[8:54] Speaker 1: Face with thicker, robust no, because this bit. But then
[8:57] Speaker 1: you go to your arms and everywhere else and that's
[8:59] Speaker 1: thicker and more resilient.
[9:00] Speaker 2: So this area is pretty skin guy like, why do
[9:03] Speaker 2: we come out with different skin.
[9:05] Speaker 1: I'm gonna recommend some specific neck like chin to nip
[9:09] Speaker 1: pool products. But whatever you do, if you do have
[9:12] Speaker 1: a retinol that you like, you could sandwich it, or
[9:14] Speaker 1: you could just go by an affordable face retinol that's
[9:16] Speaker 1: at a lower percentage hydration so I would do retinol
[9:20] Speaker 1: maybe build up to most nights, but then hydration. I
[9:23] Speaker 1: would almost like missed, Well, this is what I've been doing.
[9:25] Speaker 1: If anyone's gonna look at me, it's so different when
[9:28] Speaker 1: I'm not on camera, I missed, and then I'll do
[9:30] Speaker 1: a hydrating serum and then a lightweight moisturizer like I
[9:33] Speaker 1: give my neck almost like a treatment like my face.
[9:35] Speaker 1: It's not just like one swape swape swipe. I've got
[9:38] Speaker 1: some expensive ones and some affordable ones because we love
[9:40] Speaker 1: a spend diesel. Everything in the show notes though, so
[9:42] Speaker 1: oh yes, everything's in the show notes. Doctor as always,
[9:44] Speaker 1: Doctor Naomi hit the deck because it's decolatile. Ah, I
[9:49] Speaker 1: think that's about one hundred and fifty dollars month, So
[9:51] Speaker 1: I've used. It's very good, it's quite strong build up.
[9:54] Speaker 1: Just because it's quite strong doesn't mean you should expect
[9:58] Speaker 1: results immediately. This is going to take three to six months.
[10:01] Speaker 1: So with all of these, I mean that an affordable one. Now,
[10:05] Speaker 1: Rock Skincare has a really great neck and like decoltage cream,
[10:09] Speaker 1: really beautiful. That's forty two ninety nine. Do you can
[10:11] Speaker 1: get that wherever you get Rock Skincare are you know,
[10:14] Speaker 1: the big er, little old big c not Life.
[10:16] Speaker 2: It's a chemist brand, but not a chemist brand.
[10:20] Speaker 1: Yeah, what is it? Really? Wow?
[10:22] Speaker 2: That was that made sense.
[10:23] Speaker 1: It's actually very not very under the radar. But I'm
[10:25] Speaker 1: always impressed with the stuff that I I've.
[10:28] Speaker 2: Never tried a dud.
[10:29] Speaker 1: You same, They're really good. Number seven also has one.
[10:33] Speaker 1: I when I was researching this yesterday, I ordered it
[10:35] Speaker 1: from Priceline four price. It's fifty nine to ninety nine.
[10:38] Speaker 1: I was reading a whole bunch of reviews from around
[10:40] Speaker 1: the world and it sounded great, So it's on its
[10:42] Speaker 1: way to me because I was like, Gus, Yes, exorbitantly
[10:46] Speaker 1: expensive is a skin Suitical's neck cream two hundred and
[10:49] Speaker 1: forty nine dollars?
[10:50] Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, I know, I mean amazing reviews.
[10:53] Speaker 1: I'm not spending two hundred fifty dollars on my neck
[10:55] Speaker 1: like I care, but not as much as my face.
[10:58] Speaker 1: And I'm already in love with so many of the serums.
[10:59] Speaker 1: I'm like, guys, Bare Minerals has one that I've not tried.
[11:03] Speaker 2: It that mainly did make up.
[11:04] Speaker 1: I know, No, they do some really good skincare. This
[11:06] Speaker 1: is one hundred and eighteen and fresh skincare also has
[11:09] Speaker 1: one one hundred and fifty five dollars, so if you
[11:11] Speaker 1: want to find a specific product, it's definitely out there.
[11:15] Speaker 1: If it were me, I would probably just go to
[11:18] Speaker 1: your number seven, your ola and buy a retinol, like
[11:21] Speaker 1: you get a specific retinal for your neck, or you
[11:24] Speaker 1: know the Elizabeth Ardan retnols that are really hydrating this,
[11:27] Speaker 1: so there's one that you love. I would almost go, okay,
[11:30] Speaker 1: you're my neck retinal. And then you could also like
[11:32] Speaker 1: have a separate routine for your neck as you're building
[11:35] Speaker 1: that up specifically, because I'm assuming kas you know, you're
[11:38] Speaker 1: into skincare and you're in your fifties, your face might
[11:41] Speaker 1: be more used to anti aging products than your neck.
[11:43] Speaker 1: So almost go okay, face tonight, this is your routine,
[11:47] Speaker 1: and then next this is your routine and like catch
[11:49] Speaker 1: it up. Yeah you know what I mean. Sunscreen because
[11:53] Speaker 1: sunscreen and always from your well, your forehead to your nipples,
[11:57] Speaker 1: because what the sun exposure does is degrade the college
[12:01] Speaker 1: and the lastin and that's why it's getting whoby. If
[12:04] Speaker 1: it's really bothering you and you wanted to do a treatment, yes,
[12:08] Speaker 1: there's lots of options. Are a skin tightening. So radio
[12:11] Speaker 1: frequency hyphoo, I've done hyphoo. That's that really weird one.
[12:15] Speaker 1: It tightens, But i'd also kind of got rid of
[12:17] Speaker 1: that for me. They explained what that is to anyone's past.
[12:20] Speaker 1: Sorry her turkey, I don't know her.
[12:23] Speaker 2: Go toad, toad or turkey gobble.
[12:27] Speaker 1: Yes, toads have the ball, Yeah they do too, poor turkeys.
[12:31] Speaker 1: They're always the one.
[12:31] Speaker 2: They're the ones that get what I always think of
[12:33] Speaker 2: a toad.
[12:34] Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, I mean I had two sessions, I think,
[12:37] Speaker 1: and it was quite not quite painful. It was like
[12:40] Speaker 1: it felt like electric anyway, Okay, it was fine. Intense
[12:43] Speaker 1: pulse lights of ipl there's certain ones that can do that,
[12:46] Speaker 1: lasers or there's a treatment called ultraforma that is specifically
[12:49] Speaker 1: about skin tightening. You're gonna need a few sessions of those.
[12:51] Speaker 1: It's gonna be expensive. If I were you, I'd go
[12:54] Speaker 1: find yourself a net cream or a retinal that's right,
[12:57] Speaker 1: and then I'd put it in your diary like I'm
[12:59] Speaker 1: starting this now, and then in three months within your
[13:02] Speaker 1: diary house monet going, and then in six months. Because
[13:04] Speaker 1: it's not an overnight fix, but it's a commitment but
[13:07] Speaker 1: it can be done. I mean, look at our glorious faces.
[13:09] Speaker 1: Just give you a comp to the that's it. So
[13:13] Speaker 1: hopefully that helps, Kaz, But I feel your sister. I'm
[13:15] Speaker 1: just gonna keep wearing turtlenecks until I've sorted mine out. Oh,
[13:19] Speaker 1: she says, wearing a deep, deep plunge.
[13:21] Speaker 2: Yeah, but you have like whatever you've done on.
[13:24] Speaker 1: Your mind, it's fake. So what I do is I
[13:26] Speaker 1: wake up dry and revolting, and I do my makeup,
[13:30] Speaker 1: but then I just skin flood my whole neck down
[13:33] Speaker 1: to my nips, and then I mix my foundation with
[13:35] Speaker 1: my last step of my body cream because that's a
[13:37] Speaker 1: lot of pigmentation.
[13:38] Speaker 2: Remember that day that I forgot that I'd put a
[13:40] Speaker 2: little bit of makeup on and you were like, not
[13:42] Speaker 2: a chance. Is your chest skin that beautiful? You must
[13:46] Speaker 2: have someone And then I was like, oh, yeah, yeah, I.
[13:48] Speaker 1: Probably would I have to do all the time.
[13:49] Speaker 2: Yes, I would put like even just a little bit
[13:51] Speaker 2: of concealer mixing with moisture.
[13:53] Speaker 1: Yeah, without thanking on that I've done my foundation. Bronzo
[13:55] Speaker 1: is darker than my body, particularly in the middle of winter,
[13:57] Speaker 1: so it would be like I was wearing a white mask. Yeah, exactly,
[14:07] Speaker 1: all right, kell, I've done a lot of talking beauty's beauty.
[14:11] Speaker 2: Well, the funny thing is with the beauty bite. I
[14:13] Speaker 2: want us to discuss it together because we need to
[14:16] Speaker 2: talk about the Golden Hour facial.
[14:18] Speaker 1: Have you had one?
[14:19] Speaker 2: What in the magic So a little bit of a backstory.
[14:22] Speaker 2: A couple of probably like six weeks ago, you had
[14:26] Speaker 2: this facial. It was called the Golden How facial. It
[14:29] Speaker 2: was that sensation boutique in bron Tea, Sydney. But it's
[14:34] Speaker 2: any so they have it at other clinics around Australia.
[14:37] Speaker 2: You just have to look on the website, which we
[14:39] Speaker 2: will link in the show notes. And Lee doesn't get
[14:41] Speaker 2: that many facials. You don't have time, you don't like
[14:43] Speaker 2: to lie still, and you were like, it was one
[14:46] Speaker 2: of the best facials I've ever had, so obviously then
[14:48] Speaker 2: I needed to go and get it because I love
[14:51] Speaker 2: a facial.
[14:52] Speaker 1: Foo. Oh do you really love a facial? Do you
[14:55] Speaker 1: love the results or the experience? Ah? I hate both.
[14:59] Speaker 1: I just don't. I just get so anxious about the time.
[15:02] Speaker 1: I like results.
[15:03] Speaker 2: But the thing is I kept thinking about you because.
[15:07] Speaker 1: When you had no chop on and you're being mas massage.
[15:10] Speaker 2: The thing about a good skin therapist is that they
[15:14] Speaker 2: will tailor it to you. Yes, And it was so
[15:17] Speaker 2: funny because I just thought, there is no way that
[15:20] Speaker 2: Lee got this exact facial because mine went for almost
[15:23] Speaker 2: two hours.
[15:24] Speaker 1: Mine was ninety minutes. I think, oh, I can't remember
[15:27] Speaker 1: I fell asleep. Remember I fell asleep? You did? Because
[15:29] Speaker 1: like that, I said, did I fall asleep? And she
[15:31] Speaker 1: was like, oh yeah.
[15:32] Speaker 2: Okay, maybe we did get the exact same one because
[15:34] Speaker 2: I thought there's no way that Lee would actually sit
[15:36] Speaker 2: here this on. But if you fell asleep, that makes sense.
[15:38] Speaker 1: Yeah. Mine was phenomenal. So it's a Vanessa Meghan customized.
[15:42] Speaker 1: They use gold in one.
[15:43] Speaker 2: Of like they literally use we need to put a
[15:45] Speaker 2: photo in here. They literally put It's very unsexy while
[15:49] Speaker 2: they're doing it because they're just kind of like plastering
[15:52] Speaker 2: gold onto your face.
[15:53] Speaker 1: Okay, No, I didn't have that, like you had sheets
[15:56] Speaker 1: of gold.
[15:56] Speaker 2: Yeah, I must have been asleepep because that was you
[16:00] Speaker 2: definitely would have had that because that's part of the
[16:01] Speaker 2: gold in our facial.
[16:03] Speaker 1: But I think that one of them had a CCTV.
[16:07] Speaker 2: Is that in our industry, Lean I both sometimes can
[16:10] Speaker 2: get a little bit cynical, of cynical, but a little
[16:14] Speaker 2: bit like oh about natural products or purely natural.
[16:19] Speaker 1: I don't think it's cynical. I think that that we've
[16:23] Speaker 1: tried so many treatments and products that there's plenty we
[16:27] Speaker 1: don't talk about that don't work. Like treatments we have
[16:29] Speaker 1: our products we try, so to be impressed is pretty impressive, exactly.
[16:34] Speaker 2: So a lot of the time it takes like hardcore science.
[16:38] Speaker 2: So really yeah, yes, but oh my goodness, these Vanessa
[16:41] Speaker 2: Megan products and the skill of the therapist. It was
[16:45] Speaker 2: just outstandings.
[16:47] Speaker 1: Do super firm facial, Yeah, because that's what I think,
[16:50] Speaker 1: that's what put me to sleep. We wonder if I
[16:52] Speaker 1: had gold on my face.
[16:52] Speaker 2: It was just outstanding, and it's such a gold.
[16:55] Speaker 1: Gold is so beautiful gift to either yourself or for
[16:59] Speaker 1: someone else, or just the products. Honestly, I'm Vanessa Megan
[17:02] Speaker 1: has always been on my radar, but on and off,
[17:03] Speaker 1: and then it's way back on now because I just loved.
[17:06] Speaker 2: It anyway, So I was just so impressed. So definitely
[17:08] Speaker 2: have a look if you're after a facial that feels
[17:10] Speaker 2: good but also does something, and it can totally We
[17:14] Speaker 2: always say, you can't just get a one off facial
[17:15] Speaker 2: because there's no point. You may as well invest in
[17:17] Speaker 2: a good sim You actually.
[17:18] Speaker 1: Could, well, you know what you could, because I don't
[17:20] Speaker 1: sleep at night. The fact that I fell asleep during
[17:22] Speaker 1: the day while someone was touching me.
[17:24] Speaker 2: Very respensive nap. Yeah, two hundred and sixty.
[17:26] Speaker 1: Five by a regardless, but obviously we're both Sydney Bass.
[17:30] Speaker 1: We'll link in the show notes and you can have
[17:31] Speaker 1: a look around the country if you want to try it. Well,
[17:33] Speaker 1: mine's way less sexy.
[17:34] Speaker 2: Oh there's no gold, no topless massage.
[17:37] Speaker 1: No, but it involves shoes and deodorant and nothing to
[17:41] Speaker 1: do with smell. So winter's almost over. I hate winter shoes.
[17:45] Speaker 1: You hate winter shoes. They're so hard to like. I
[17:47] Speaker 1: get that ham.
[17:48] Speaker 2: High put a sock on with a heel because my
[17:50] Speaker 2: feet are cold.
[17:51] Speaker 1: All you're the cool girls do. But then it's just
[17:52] Speaker 1: like the ham and the shoe and the practice anyway.
[17:55] Speaker 2: Yeah, my hem is wet. Yeah, right, even though I'm
[17:58] Speaker 2: wearing a heel.
[17:58] Speaker 1: But even for me, it just is hard to make
[18:00] Speaker 1: the outfit look good. So I've still got some flats
[18:02] Speaker 1: that I've purchased, been going to break in trying to
[18:04] Speaker 1: break in, Like you know how breaking in a flat
[18:06] Speaker 1: is just so annoying anyway, Like it's what flight do
[18:09] Speaker 1: you have to like a loafer or a balance?
[18:11] Speaker 2: You know they're just too awful? Yeah, right, too offul
[18:13] Speaker 2: you you spend two hundred dollars on good quality leather,
[18:16] Speaker 2: used to have to break it in? Absolutely not.
[18:17] Speaker 1: Well, I've got a hack for you, my friend. So
[18:19] Speaker 1: then I'm always the one going I could do this
[18:21] Speaker 1: and then halfway through the day'm running seven eleven to
[18:23] Speaker 1: find blister pads and blah blah blah. Guess what the
[18:24] Speaker 1: Internet told me to do, and it works. Put the
[18:27] Speaker 1: shoe on obviously before you get to blister stage, but
[18:29] Speaker 1: where it's rubbing, get deodorant ideally not spray on obviously,
[18:33] Speaker 1: but ideally like the creamy one. So you don't want
[18:35] Speaker 1: to do this on the Swede shoes. You rub deodorant
[18:37] Speaker 1: on the bit where it rubs, then put your shoe on. Gone,
[18:41] Speaker 1: the rub is gone. It acts like lubrication protection.
[18:44] Speaker 2: Wow, I would think that it would rub more and
[18:46] Speaker 2: then you'd.
[18:47] Speaker 1: Get like, I think that's obviously why you can't use
[18:49] Speaker 1: the spray because it's like powder. Yeah, but when you
[18:51] Speaker 1: use those creamy ones, Yeah, it acts like a buffer
[18:54] Speaker 1: and just kind of like, I don't know, it warms
[18:57] Speaker 1: it up anyway, like it doesn't rub for the rest
[18:59] Speaker 1: of the day. And I swear it's made my shoes
[19:00] Speaker 1: break into.
[19:01] Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, I love that so much.
[19:04] Speaker 1: I find another hack for deodorant considering I love it
[19:06] Speaker 1: on my lips, like not my lips, like my sweating lip.
[19:09] Speaker 2: You it's been geodorizing with the new Rick's owner or
[19:11] Speaker 2: body under the boobies, so it works.
[19:14] Speaker 1: So, I mean, I know winter's nearly over, but we
[19:16] Speaker 1: all like to wear a clothes in shoe if you've
[19:17] Speaker 1: got it, even a heel that wraps. Just don't do
[19:19] Speaker 1: it on swede because you might get a bit of
[19:21] Speaker 1: the like deodor and yeah, but if it's a leather shoe,
[19:25] Speaker 1: because you can wipe the videoto and off. What have no?
[19:29] Speaker 1: Thanks Internet?
[19:30] Speaker 2: All right, well I'm going to go try that. But
