Manchester United's left-back search continues — but what is the plan for the position before the transfer window closes? This episode looks at the latest options being discussed, including the possibility of Alejandro Balde arriving on loan from Barcelona and continued interest in Jorge Salinas. If Lewis Hall remains United's preferred long-term target, could a short-term solution this summer allow the club to go back for him next year? There's also discussion of Luke Shaw's revealing comments after the 2-0 defeat at Hull, the concerns surrounding United's defensive depth and whether centre-back could become another position that needs addressing over the course of the season. With the midfield rebuild taking shape, attention now turns to the defence — and how United balance solving immediate problems with sticking to their longer-term recruitment plan.
