It’s the final night of Michael Afton’s first (and last) week as a Fazbear Entertainment franchisee. The trap has been set, and the lingering monsters that once stalked the shadows have all been drawn in: Molten Freddy, Scrap Baby, and at last, William Afton himself. After thirty years of running, hiding, and haunting, the end is finally in sight. There’s only one loose end left to tie. In this episode of Into The Night, we will conclude our story into Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Simulator (FNaF 6), unpacking the game’s layered symbolism and the quiet truths hidden within its secret 8-bit minigames: Fruity Maze and Security Puppet. We explore how this unassuming management sim became a requiem—for its characters, its storylines, and an era of Five Nights at Freddy’s itself. Will you follow us Into the Night? [0:15] \[SPEAKER_02\]: You can't tell us what you're doing or Yes I can We have number two You will do everything that I tell you to do Now shut up Oh What do we told you We found a way to inject you You would dare
[0:43] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Go ahead, I think we should give this oil, what do we have to say?
[0:48] \[SPEAKER_02\]: A surprise!
[0:49] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Ballora, Foxy, are you going to allow this?
[1:00] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Be lost with us!
[1:13] \[SPEAKER_02\]: Let's have a fun time.
[1:25] \[SPEAKER_03\]: I can put myself back together.
[1:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Hello, and welcome to Into the Night, a Finance of Freddy's podcast.
[2:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I am your host, Nick, and thank you for listening.
[2:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: In our previous episode, we explored the first three days of Michael Afton's bold entrepreneurial endeavor, franchising his own 30 fast bears, Pete Seria, dubbed 30 fast bears, Pete's a place, Michael managed not only to operate in fun the establishment, but also maintain a veil of anonymity, keeping his face hidden from the public.
[2:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But what were his intentions in doing all of this?
[2:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: to use the restaurant as bait, drawing in the remaining hunted animatronics to one centralized location.
[2:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Thus far, he's been remarkably effective.
[2:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He has successfully salvaged his sister, now scrap baby, cast out by the amalgamated abomination known as Inherde.
[3:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: molten Freddy, the reconstituted inner collective, now come and deared by fun time Freddy, and his own father, William Afton, now known as scrap trap.
[3:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But this raises a compelling question.
[3:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: How exactly did all of these animatronics find their way to this specific site?
[3:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's not entirely unnatural for them to be drawn to the location, perhaps they were even compelled to.
[3:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yet why is it that they always appear in the back alley and considering the establishment is located in Hurricane Utah?
[3:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: While some of these beings have been wandering the surface for over 3 decades, isn't it just a bit too convenient that each night, Michael has stepped into the alleyway only to find another familiar figure waiting, more curiously.
[4:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Why do they even expect Michael to let them in?
[4:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The answers to these questions are all rooted in the deeper, unresolved mysteries surrounding the construction of Freddy Fazbear's pizza place in it's cell.
[4:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: How did, exactly, Fazbear entertainment resurface after declaring bankruptcy at the end of 1993 during the events of the original Five Nights at Freddy's?
[4:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Who would be so brazen, or perhaps so deranged, as to resurrect a brand so thoroughly stained by tragedy, scandal and bloodshed, and more chillingly, what kind of madmen would dare to re-establish such a franchise, in the very same town, where it's most infamous of horrors, once played out.
[5:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: While Michael Afton is confirmed as the owner and operator of the establishment, it's clear he isn't the one pulling the strings.
[5:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Someone else sits higher on this corporate ladder.
[5:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Someone with a hidden agenda.
[5:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: this unseen figure outlined Michael's franchisee contract, stipulating that he is required to locate insecure animatronic artifacts that may manifest in the alley behind the restaurant.
[5:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: This directive is housed within a contract, subsection labeled special obligations,
[5:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Although we're never given the full legal language of this clause, Michael's behavior and several in-game references to this part of his contract allows us to piece together a plausible picture of what these obligations entail.
[6:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The company representative, whom Michael listened to when he salvages the scrap animatronics, which will refer to as cassette guy, provides the closest approximation
[6:13] \[SPEAKER_04\]: There is another aspect to your end of day routine, and that is inspecting and salvaging any animatronics found in the alley outside the back door.
[6:24] \[SPEAKER_04\]: Things are found here quite often, and while we aren't sure why, what we do know is that they can be used for parts.
[6:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Used for parts.
[6:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That's the vague justification cassette guy offers for why Michael is instructed to salvage the animatronics discovered in the back alley, though he himself admits to not fully understanding the rationale behind it, whether he is being fully honest or not.
[6:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: yet each sinister machine Michael Retrieze as he works in his crawl space office.
[6:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The machines that lurk within the ventilation system hint that they weren't merely being drawn to this familiar location.
[7:06] \[SPEAKER_11\]: They were called to it.
[7:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: These aren't the lost words of wandering automotons.
[7:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They're the testimonies of aware entities responding to a specific summons.
[7:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And the only individual who knew this location was under construction was the unnamed figure at the top of Fazbear entertainment.
[7:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Michael merely stepped into the role of manager once the site was complete.
[7:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Whoever is truly in charge, not only anticipated the arrival of these twisted remnants, but engineered it, they've found a way to lure the remaining fazbear creations out of hiding and into this new facade of a restaurant.
[8:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: and under special obligations paragraph 4, Michael is contractually bound to recover and contain them if he wishes to retain his position as a franchisee.
[8:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Still, so much remains unanswered.
[8:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Michael has been told that there will be a big party on Saturday, and with half the week already behind him, the pressure has started to melt.
[8:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What exactly is this supposed party he's preparing for?
[8:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Who is truly running Fazbear entertainment from the shadows?
[8:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And most ominously, what does Michael plan to do with all of these monsters he's been locking away?
[8:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: This is episode 10.
[8:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You've been misinformed.
[9:04] \[SPEAKER_11\]: You will soon pass on to the world closer and closer, but not in your world.
[9:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: As Michael began his morning routine, coffee in hand, clipboard tucked under one arm.
[9:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He resumed his daily ritual, evaluating potential upgrades for his Pizzeria.
[9:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Today, his attention turned to a new catalog.
[9:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Rare finds auction.
[9:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Compared to the previous catalogs, this one marked a steep and sudden jump in price.
[9:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Each item more extravagant than the last.
[9:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: laminated across its glossy pages were thrilling attractions, indoor tilt-a-world, elaborately decorative flooring and tiles, and animatronics whose sleek designs rival even the toy models and the highly advanced fun time animatronics.
[10:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: One entry in particular caught Michael's eye.
[10:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: A fun time animatronic labeled
[10:28] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But looking at over, it didn't appear to be one of his father's creations.
[10:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Or, at the very least, he doubted it was one that was tainted with his twisted desires built into its artificial intelligence.
[10:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Another animatronic listed was a porcelain elephant, orville, the elephant.
[10:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: A whimsical looking performer and seemingly the missing member of Michael's mediocre melodies band, he was quirky and harmless.
[10:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But just a few pages later, Michael was met with something far more disturbing.
[11:03] \[SPEAKER_01\]: A melodic reckoning like a tomaton simply called Music Man.
[11:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: If anything in the catalog was destined to give children nightmares, it was this monstrosity.
[11:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: One part oversized head with a spherical body, with several spider-like limbs.
[11:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's glossy, vacant eye sockets, where each the size of a human head, and it's wide, unbilling king grin, looked capable of swallowing a person whole.
[11:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Oh, Michael didn't linger long, he quickly turned the page.
[11:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: and then he stopped again, another animatronics stood out, not because it was a god-y or grotesque, but because it was almost too ordinary, a black bear nearly identical to the Rockstar Freddy already occupying his stage, besides the pallet swap, the differences were subtle.
[12:03] \[SPEAKER_01\]: a red top hat and matching bow tie, a microphone gripped in its left hand, and most notably, a hollow translucent socket in place of its left eye.
[12:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Fittingly, the catalog labelled it as, lefty, but what truly caught Michael's attention was in the
[12:28] \[SPEAKER_01\]: five whole dollars.
[12:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: A sharp contrast to the thousands listed of the other attractions and rare vines, practically a giveaway.
[12:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: they had to be desperate to unload it then.
[12:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And Michael could guess why.
[12:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Lefty's liability rating was maxed out.
[12:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Whatever was inside that animatronic, it was dangerous.
[12:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Possibly more dangerous than anything else the catalog had to offer.
[12:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Strangely, Michael noticed a peculiar resemblance between Lefty and the black bear drawing pinned up in his basement office.
[13:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Right down to the black and the left eye, with a singular white pupil staring out from the void.
[13:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: With a slight thorough of his brow, Michael shut the catalog and placed a few modest orders.
[13:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: None of which involved the Amitronic Freakshow paraded within those glossy pages.
[13:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Those things look more like attractions you find if Fazbear Entertainment,
[13:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Instead, he focused on aesthetics, on building a place that felt charming if not outright magical, where fantasy and fun come to life.
[13:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He installed his sleek star patterned black and white granite floor, ordered a deluxe ball pit, an invested in a ride that was essentially an indoor
[14:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: after setting up his orders, Michael decided to leave the moving and building renovations to the professionals.
[14:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Instead, he decided to start up another one of his daily habits, and fittingly, a key mechanic in pretty fast bears pizza rea simulators game itself, play testing, the various attractions in his facility.
[14:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: ostensibly this was to ensure they were safe for children.
[14:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But let's be honest, it was also a way to blew off steam and play some arcade games.
[14:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Besides, Fazbear Entertainment even incentivized the activity, offering Michael performance bonuses based on how well he scored.
[14:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Based on how well he scored.
[14:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: In Freddy Fazbear's pizza re-assimulator, it's sold.
[14:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: These attractions are depicted as quirky minigames you can play for some extra spending cash.
[14:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Often featuring an adorable, pint-sized bear mascot named Helpy, a chivey version of Fun Time Freddy, who also happens to sit on Michael's desk as a plastic figure while he works.
[15:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: some of the mini-games are, oh they are just, they're extraordinary.
[15:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I feel my personal favorites include Take a Balloon, where you quite literally press the space bar button to pick up a balloon and you win.
[15:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Then there's the ball pit jump mini game, where you time help these leap into a box filled with plastic balls.
[15:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Miss the timing and you just don't lose
[15:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: help you violently fold in half like an accordion, spine presumably shattered.
[15:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And let's not forget the lineup of classic style arcade machines, which Michael can also choose to play during his free time at the Pizzeria.
[15:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: which just so happened to be what Michael was eyeed to play test for today.
[15:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: A bit of an nostalgia game.
[15:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: One that he remembers playing a few times.
[16:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Back at pretty fast bears pizza ria when he was a younger, but still not innocent.
[16:08] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Boyd.
[16:08] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Fruity maze.
[16:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The scent of Maranera clung to the air, rich in familiar, while the symphony of bleeps and bloops from the arcade machines echo like a lullaby made for ghost.
[16:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It mingle with a tang of cheese on her tongue.
[16:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: and for a moment.
[16:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Susie felt at peace.
[16:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She loved pretty fast bears, even when she was here alone.
[16:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Well, not alone exactly.
[16:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Her mother was sitting right next to her.
[16:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Freddy's always felt a little warmer, a little brighter than anywhere else.
[17:03] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She liked to believe that brightness followed her home, tucked somewhere deep within her.
[17:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: at least, it used to feel that way.
[17:14] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Freddy's was a usually reserved for special days.
[17:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Birthdays, big milestones, good grades that warrant his celebration.
[17:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But today had no occasion.
[17:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: No reason.
[17:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Her mother had simply asked out of the blue if she wanted to spend the day at Freddy's.
[17:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And how could Susie say no, no one ever said no to Freddy's.
[17:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Besides, she welcomed a distraction.
[17:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But even as she chewed, something heavy began to press against her appetite.
[17:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: a silent weight, shapeless but persistent.
[17:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She pushed her plate away and bumbled something to her mother about going to play, clutching her plastic cup bill with gold and phas tokens.
[18:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She made her way toward the game hall, hoping the noise might drown out her thoughts.
[18:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The arcade wall shimmered with flashing lights and pixelated wonder.
[18:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Older kids clustered around the newest machines, fast food invader, pizza roller, collect the hats, they laughed and shouted, absorbed by the LED glow.
[18:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Susie hovered for a moment, Tim did, but she didn't want to wait, nor did she enjoy the crowd.
[18:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She turned instead toward a lonely cabinet, tucked away from the others, no crowd, no clamor.
[18:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: just her, and fruity maids, sliding a token into the coin slot, Susie rose onto her tiptoes, and grasped the joystick with small, eager hands.
[19:03] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Pretty maize was exactly what it sounded like, you guided a tiny girl avatar, not much different from one of Susie's own beloved dolls, through a maze, though she'd quickly be directed at thoughts away from her doll.
[19:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: some things hurt to think about for too long.
[19:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The objective was simple, dashed through the twisting maze collecting fruits before the timer reached zero, cherries oranges, grapes, each glowing brightly and accompanied by a pleasant chime as it vanished upon being collected, and points racked up on your score.
[19:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Powerups appear too, which were Susie's favorite part of the game.
[19:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: A magnet that tubs through toward you like iron shavings to a magnet, a golden lightning bolt, that gave the little girl a burst of impossible speed, and a strange purple cape.
[20:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Though with the gravity, Susie always doesn't look more like a lumpy purple frog than a cloak.
[20:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They let the character pass clean due to the maze's walls.
[20:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: the music dance through the speakers, sprightly and cheerful, lifting her spirits and her heels.
[20:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It made her feel like skipping through heels, arms outstretched.
[20:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The kind of plays were stories ballooned like wildflowers.
[20:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Of course, there weren't any real fields around here.
[20:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Hurricane wasn't that kind of town.
[20:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: People didn't know Harvest crops here.
[20:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They worked steel and steam at the mill.
[20:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Still, there was a park.
[20:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Her family would picnic there some times.
[20:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Beneath a sun that warmed her cheeks and made the world feel soft and safe.
[20:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She loved the smell of freshly cut grass, the earthy perfume left behind by the ground keepers mower, in the quiet freedom of making up new games with each breeze that passed.
[21:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She was good at that, creating stories, adventures, watching people from behind trees or picnic benches, imagining what they might be up to and what they could be doing.
[21:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Her mother called a plain spy, but she wasn't spying, she was fantasizing.
[21:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: In some odd way, the yellow rabbit in fruity maze reminded her of her cell, but he wasn't a proper enemy, not like the ghost and Pac-Man.
[21:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He simply stood there, off to the side of the path, observing, not chasing, not helping, just watching.
[21:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Susie's supposed he was there to signal empty zones.
[21:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Places he would already gone to in the maze and thus had no reason to go back to.
[21:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And it wasn't just people Susie created adventures for.
[21:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Everything deserves to have fun.
[22:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She's loved dreaming of stories for her classmates, often scribbling wild tales in her notebooks, epic journeys, starring the class pet dish, who escape his bowl and lead everyone on an underwater voyage through the big blue sea.
[22:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: At home, her dolls had entire lives that continued even when she wasn't watching.
[22:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Gretchen, her favorite, had gone through two main journeys that she could count.
[22:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Sometimes she let her big sister join in the fun, if she was in the right mood.
[22:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But the best stories always included her little puppy.
[22:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Always.
[22:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Please, too.
[22:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Anyway,
[22:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The game ended.
[22:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She'd won, collected every last fruit, a perfect rotten nut.
[23:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But her fingers stayed clenched around the joystick.
[23:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Her jaw was tight, unmoving.
[23:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Her gaze lingered on the flickering screen long after, the victory fanfare faded away.
[23:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The bright colors felt too sharp now, the cheerful music too loud.
[23:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: a stinging warmth gathered at the corner of her eyes.
[23:28] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She blinked hard.
[23:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Then wiped them with the sleeve of her pink magenta dress sweater, trying to hide it even though no one was looking.
[23:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: With a quite breath, she slid another token into the machine.
[23:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The screen reset, but little girl in the maze came back to life, and Susie played again because she needed to.
[23:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The game began, but something was wrong.
[23:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The music, the lively bubbly tune she once adored, felt warped now, slower, slurred.
[24:08] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Or maybe she was the one who felt all, no, no, it was the game, she was sure of it.
[24:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: As she darted to the maze once more, something flickered, the fruit, cherries, oranges and grapes.
[24:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They were still there.
[24:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: but some of them weren't fruit anymore, some were dogs, yellow dogs, blonde, just like her puppy.
[24:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Suzy's eyes began to sting.
[24:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Her stomach twisted into a hollow knot, the kind that gripped into her chest and squeezed, tighter than the time she accidentally locked herself inside her school cubby.
[24:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She glanced toward the yellow rabbit.
[24:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He was still washing, she clenched her fist, she didn't want to cry, she wanted to be happy, she didn't want to remember, didn't want to see what the game was showing her, that he was gone.
[25:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: the game ended again, but before the screen could tell her score, before she could even check for a high score, her hands moved on their own, she slipped another token into the slot.
[25:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The screen stuttered back to light, but this time, the game was completely broken, like her.
[25:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The maze had deteriorated, its colors flickering, textures vanishing, most of the fruit hadn't even loaded, some were twitching, corrupted messes of code.
[25:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: While others were just blank, featureless white squares.
[25:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The power-ups had stopped working, no lighting bolt, no speed, no running away, the yellow dogs, they didn't bounce or sparkle.
[26:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They just laid there.
[26:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Their legs bent the wrong way, their tiny face painted with a pixelated smile far too wide.
[26:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: beneath him, a dark red pool spread outward, creeping like oil across the digital floor.
[26:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Susie stood frozen, but her fingers still moved on the controls.
[26:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: When she collected the dog, the game didn't reward her.
[26:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: There was no shine, no points.
[26:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: only a trail of blood.
[26:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It followed behind her avatar, staining every pack she touched.
[26:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Her breath became shallow, each inhale catching in her throat, like a dying engine coughing through its final bow.
[27:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Her chest tingled, numb and hot all at once, as if her body was still trying to
[27:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: but her heart had already broken.
[27:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Was it her fault?
[27:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Was she the reason he was gone?
[27:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The tears spilled freely now, streaming down flush cheeks and falling to the scuffed floor below.
[27:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She could see them, could see herself in the warped reflection of the arcade screen.
[27:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Those rare moments with a game actually worked in the LED lights flicker to life again.
[27:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: in those brief flashes, her own face stared back, pale, puffy hide, and stripped of everything but grief.
[27:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She would have been noticed, should have been, if not for the swelling noise of the animatronic bands finale, their tiny instruments in pre-recorded sheer swallowed her
[28:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She ended them, she hated how much she ended them, so full of life, so full of color, moving without pain, performing without care.
[28:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She wish you could be like them, mechanical and unfeeling, she wish you could flick a switch and turn it all off.
[28:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Then, a sudden creep cut through the haze, it startled her out of her thoughts and out of the game.
[28:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The world slammed back into her, cold and bright.
[28:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She flinched, blinking fast.
[28:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Her tear-fog division struggling to refocus.
[28:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The sound was coming from outside, from the parking lot.
[29:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She knew that sound.
[29:03] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It was her mom's car.
[29:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He's a really dead little bird.
[29:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Suzy turned, the voice she heard was melodic, sought like a lover by, and somehow, soothing, not frightening, why would it be?
[29:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It was just Bonnie, standing tall over her, looking down with a wide gleaming smile, stretched across his snout,
[29:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: not with warmth, but something harder to name.
[29:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Delight, maybe, or amusement.
[29:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But there is no doubt he was pleased.
[29:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The sharp smile was unmistakable as the golden yellow of his
[30:09] \[SPEAKER_06\]: But Daddy said he got hit by a car.
[30:15] \[SPEAKER_08\]: Oh, I'm so sweet, bird.
[30:18] \[SPEAKER_08\]: He just ran off and got lost on the way home.
[30:21] \[UNKNOWN\]: But I found him.
[30:23] \[SPEAKER_08\]: I kept him safe for you.
[30:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I want nothing more than to bring you to back together again.
[30:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He tilted his head and offered his palm.
[30:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Suzy took it.
[30:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The texture was rough.
[30:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Metallic.
[30:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But somehow gentle and eager at the same time.
[30:52] \[SPEAKER_08\]: I fucking look back at the restaurant where he won't scan for all the game.
[30:58] \[SPEAKER_06\]: He's over here.
[31:01] \[SPEAKER_07\]: Yes.
[31:03] \[SPEAKER_06\]: Follow me.
[31:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Michael had a clear frown on his face as he screwed the extra coin slot into fruity maze.
[31:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He remembered that game as clearly as a cloudless sky, but something about it left him unusually grief-stricken.
[31:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Michael had no no shortage of tragedy in both his life and
[32:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But these emotions, the deep sadness, the aching lolliness, that terrible sense of loss.
[32:14] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They weren't unfamiliar feelings, but these didn't feel like his own, perhaps they'd been imprinted on the machine, left behind by another soul from another place in time.
[32:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The supernatural was no stranger to Michael.
[32:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He was, in every sense of the word, a creature made of it, and invisible force tethered his soul to his hollowed body, animating the corpse he walked in, a walking ghost with no need for breath or heartbeat.
[32:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That force was known as Revenant.
[32:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Michael had only come to understand it after he'd been scooped.
[32:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Something had to explain how he had survived that horrific procedure.
[33:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: over time through bits of research in firsthand experience, he began to grasp what had happened.
[33:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The scuba, he learned, contained a large storage of remnant within its internal reservoir, and when activated, the device would discharge that silver mercury essence through its tip, injecting it directly into its victims interior.
[33:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It would hollow you out.
[33:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: but keep your shell intact, but what exactly was remnant?
[33:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: In existence?
[33:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Well, it was exactly that.
[33:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Essence, it was the very essence of the soul, a byproduct of release to motion, matter cannot be created or destroyed, and the same principle applies to emotions.
[34:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What we feel, what our bodies and minds experience, triggers the soul to release energy.
[34:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: This energy is what we call Revenant.
[34:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Revenant is the byproduct of happiness, joy, and pleasure.
[34:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But it's not always benevolent.
[34:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like the world itself, the soul is capable of order and chaos, creation and destruction, tragedy, death and sorrow, also release energy, a dark counterpart to remnant, known as Agani.
[34:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: these energies are all around us, often in perceptible, except in moments of intense emotional release.
[34:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But when stronger emotions are cultivated, when remnant or agony accumulates into a palpable force, it can manifest in ways that might seem unnatural to the physical world.
[35:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: In truth, they are natural occurrences in the world, but they are beyond our conscious comprehension, often simply recognised by instinct.
[35:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Take a funeral, for instance, a graveyard heavy with the grief of many souls moaning the loss of a loved one.
[35:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The grief doesn't just fade away, it lingers, over and over again, with every person who releases their sorrow, that agony lingers in the air above, the hollow ground that
[35:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You don't need to be told to be respectful in such a place.
[35:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The agony ensures that you feel it.
[35:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The ache of locks, the weight of sadness, even if you're not part of the grieving.
[36:03] \[SPEAKER_01\]: On the other hand, consider a graduation ceremony, a grand hall filled with pride and accomplishment.
[36:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The joy of families, the sense of achievement from the students, those feelings,
[36:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: that energy lingers too, and when you walk through the halls you feel it, inspiration that since that anything is possible, the thrill of victory and life, it all flows through you, as if the building itself holds the weight of every triumph.
[36:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But these are the circumstances of Michael, or the monsters below the surface of the Pizzeria, find themselves in.
[36:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: No, they are the extreme cases.
[36:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: When remnant and agony accumulate to their extreme forms, the effects can only be described as preternatural.
[37:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: the laws of reality become less solid, more fluid under the potent influence of remnant and agony.
[37:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The immaterial begins to sever the ties that bind the material world, allowing what we believe to be the impossible to take shape.
[37:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: take someone like Michael, for example.
[37:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He doesn't just return his soul to his corpse.
[37:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He parades it around, even though it's hollow, empty of heart and spine.
[37:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He walks like any other mortal man.
[37:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: or consider molten Freddy, a creature that can only be described as a massive metal and wires, an unwieldy spaghetti-like blob that should by all logical reasoning be immobile.
[37:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And yet, it moves.
[38:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Somehow, it can speak, it can slither, and it can absolutely kill.
[38:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Michael's own experiences that led him to witness other extreme cases as well.
[38:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Golden Freddy's ability to teleport.
[38:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The Mary Annette's hallucinatory capabilities, its ability to give gifts and to give a life itself, even his own dreams, wandering through memories that want his, memories belonging to others.
[38:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: After all, the remnant that binds his body in soul together isn't purely his own.
[38:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Perhaps a small portion of it is.
[38:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But the rest, those memories, those moments of joy, belong to others.
[38:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The missing children of 1985.
[39:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: they did not deserve their fate.
[39:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: His father was cruel.
[39:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Michael knew that, but what struck him most was how meticulous he had been with each of his victims.
[39:14] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like a lion stalking a gazelle.
[39:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: His father had picked the weakest ones, the ones who couldn't escape his traps.
[39:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He learned their weak points, what buttons to push, how to trigger their emotions, how to make them trust him, to believe every sweet word he whispered, only to leave them into the back rooms, and spring the trap.
[39:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He did it because he thought it was fun, he did it to feel powerful, and he did it because he was a coward.
[39:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: someone who could only pray on a week in the innocent because it was easy, but he was practical, a business man who used every asset at his disposal.
[40:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Michael himself was unliving proof of that.
[40:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The remnant that bound his soul to his body didn't belong to him.
[40:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: As long as he remained, their souls couldn't find rest, something in the material world anchored them here, but he couldn't just end it, not yet, because he wasn't the only anchor.
[40:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Moulton Freddy, the remnants of the innards conglomerate, still carried their own remnant within them.
[40:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The children's spirits couldn't find peace from that tangle of wires either.
[40:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It wouldn't be possible until both he and Walton Freddy were exercised, completely eradicated.
[40:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But it wasn't just them.
[41:03] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Michael, Edmonton, pretty tied together by the souls of the MCI victims, were bound to the same chariot, benefactors through the misery of the dead children.
[41:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The only way to stop it was to stop the chariot all together.
[41:34] \[SPEAKER_09\]: I'm still alive.
[42:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Michael opened the back door and missed his usual end of day routine.
[42:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Plates and silverware clinked in the sink, booed in waste discarded into the bin, and every attraction thoroughly cleaned and bleached.
[42:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Thankfully, no need to replace the carpet today.
[42:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: No throw up this time.
[42:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What were you thinking?
[42:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The scrap animatronics he had salvaged were becoming more difficult to contain.
[42:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Each addition to the basement was bringing new challenges.
[42:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The more unstable of the lot were getting restless.
[42:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Their hunger growing as their bloodlust had no outlet.
[42:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yet, with his audio decoy and motion tracker, Michael found ways to manage.
[42:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Part of him was curious about what was actually learning them.
[42:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He had his suspicions, knowing what typically drew rapid dogs that hadn't been fed.
[42:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But for now, he chose not to question it, it was safer that way.
[43:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The storm outside was still relentless, rain lashed against the windows, the endless downpours
[43:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He recalled from his language arts classes that in Shakespeare's Macbeth, thunder, lightning, and rain, signified something terrible to come.
[43:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Perhaps this storm was symbolic of a cleansing, like the great flood in the book of Genesis.
[43:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Whatever the cause, the ominous weather above the restaurant felt like a sign.
[43:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: As he scoured the grime covered a back alley, Michael's eyes landed on a familiar figure looking near the dumpster.
[43:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: A black bear.
[43:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's milk, a gate, wearing a red top hat and matching bow tie.
[44:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: A crimson microphone clutched in its left hand.
[44:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And its left eye was hollow, transparent, with only the faintest foggyest white people visible.
[44:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Lefty.
[44:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That black bear robot, the one with the high liability rating and she price from the new catalogie had received.
[44:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The one with the high liability rating, and she price from the new catalogie had received.
[44:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What was it doing here?
[44:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Michael's squatted down to meet it at eye level, trying to get a better look.
[44:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The way it was leaning against the wall made its arm casing slack, revealing the inner workings of the machine.
[44:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: A leather-like flimsy slender of black with stripes of white was visible beneath.
[45:03] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He touched it.
[45:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It was fabric.
[45:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: At first glance, it truly was the black sheep of the group he found outside.
[45:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: No matter its origin or behavior, it was clearly still a phasbear animatronic.
[45:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And by that standard, it fit the parameters of paragraph 4.
[45:28] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Without hesitation, Michael grabbed the robot by the shoulders, dragging it into the
[46:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Despite its measly five-dollar price tag, Michael was awarded a staggering $5,000 for salvaging lefty.
[46:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Strange, but he wasn't about to complain.
[46:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The hefty sum was enough to finally replace his Brecht Arcade machine.
[46:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Fruity maze had completely shut down after only three plays.
[46:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: In its place, installed a game called Midnight Motorist.
[46:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Aside from replacing the old with the new, Michael's final purchases were mostly aesthetic upgrades, some neon-spitting pizza lights, a couple of brush posters, and even a set of old paper palsy found a scarity in the garbage.
[47:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You couldn't have a wonder how they'd ended up here.
[47:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But among the last of his acquisitions was something far more curious.
[47:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: A device called the security puppet.
[47:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It was a plastic toy-like version of the Mary Annette from the new Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, the one from Penaftu, over 30 years ago, though clearly a different model, Michael knew well enough that security measures were never a bad idea, especially with the increasing
[47:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Without wasting time, Michael said to work, eager to get everything into place.
[48:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Freddy Fazbear's pizza was a lie with its usual bustle.
[48:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Children dashed around, excitedly chasing Freddy.
[48:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He was busy serving cake to the lucky birthday boys and girls.
[48:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The sweet scent of strawberry icing and hot fresh food mingle in the air, carrying a warm that contrasted with the
[48:43] \[SPEAKER_09\]: I'll tell you what's going to be ready to park for the students.
[48:47] \[UNKNOWN\]: I'll tell you that I'm three, four, one, two, three, three.
[48:48] \[UNKNOWN\]: I'll tell you that I'm two, three, three, four, one, two, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, three, four, four
[49:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Herons were sitting in red velvet boots, chatting away with their neighbors with a care in the world.
[49:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Children loved pretty fast bears, for the mascot singing and dancing, and parents loved it for the family of friendly atmosphere, paired with a sense of safety and security.
[49:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It was a place of laughter and warmth, a haven where kids could be carefree and parents could relax.
[49:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That, of course, was all thanks to the man behind the animatronic mascots, the genius behind it all, who had brought these mechanical wonders to life.
[49:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: In the beginning, Fredbear's family diner was the product of two minds, a balance of two very different men with very different visions.
[50:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: William Afton, the practical businessman who crunched the humbers and ran the operational side of the restaurant.
[50:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Aphabel, but efficient, he insured that a business would run smoothly.
[50:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: All the while projecting an enthusiastic personality that charmed those around him.
[50:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It was his mind that understood the bottom line, and it was he who had turned the restaurant from a humble idea to a thriving operation.
[50:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Then, there was Henry Emily, the creator, the dreamer, and the eccentric visionary.
[50:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: His passion for animatronics was a driving force behind the success of Fred Bears, though was often misunderstood by those around him.
[51:08] \[SPEAKER_01\]: His mind was constantly worrying with ideas, his thoughts, often scattered between his beloved creations and his adoring family.
[51:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Henry's eccentricity made him stand out in ways that William never would.
[51:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Even if it meant Henry, wasn't as externally social compared to his brother in business, but it was his boundless creativity that allowed Fredbear's to grow into something greater than anyone could have imagined.
[51:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: both men who are husbands and fathers, though born of different circumstances, their lives shared similar roles in the family structure.
[51:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'll be it with distinct chains.
[51:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Henry, the Dreamer, had found love in the most unexpected of places.
[52:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He had fallen in love with a woman who's gentle nature mirrored his own.
[52:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And together, they created an adorable little girl named Charlotte.
[52:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She was the kindest child one could imagine.
[52:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Always curious, her big eyes sparkling with wonder.
[52:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Charlotte had a way of hugging everyone she met, from children her size to adults,
[52:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: William, on the other hand, was a different story.
[52:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Not much was known about his wife, the whisperers that surrounded their tumultuous relationship seemed to paint a picture of instability, split, reunited, bound together by vows, as though they'd had forced them into a union that neither could leave.
[52:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Some suggested, it was the child born out of wedlock that truly angered them to each other, a child undeniably as a home, but it was clear that the foundation of their marriage was far from solid.
[53:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The Afton family, it seemed, was growing, but not in a healthy or harmonious way, and as the family grew, so did the darkness that loomed over them.
[53:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It was a nasty day though, the pounding of a thunderstorm overhead was going buck-wild all day.
[53:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Thankfully, the inside of Freddy's was safe and dry.
[53:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Unfortunately, one little girl couldn't find her way inside.
[53:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Little Charlotte Emily, sweet and innocent, was locked outside in the downpour, some mischievous children, their hearts cruel and heart sick with pranks, had thought it would be funny to lock her out in the cold, they had done it with a second thought, no malice perhaps, but a complete disregard for her well-being.
[54:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Charlotte, soaked to the bone, pounded her little fist against the door, her cries for help swallowed by the cacophony of laughter and chatter from inside.
[54:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She screamed for someone, anyone to let her in, but the adults were too engrossed in their own conversations.
[54:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: After all, Freddie Fazbear's was safe, right?
[54:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The perfect place for children to play.
[54:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The owners designed it so parents didn't need to cattle in a monitor them at every turn.
[55:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Henry had designed the security puppet, but there's a very purpose.
[55:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The security puppet was a lanky marionette doll with thin metallic limbs, more delicate than most animatronics.
[55:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's face for the soft markings of a clown, painted cheeks, small bits of lip balm, and a smile that never quite reach the eyes.
[55:28] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Those eyes, glowing emerald green, scanned the room tirelessly.
[55:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Every child who entered credits was given a colorful wristband that admitted a unique frequency.
[55:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: If one of those frequencies left the building, the puppet would detect it, uncoil from its crank and retrieve the child.
[55:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Gently edificially, always returning them safely to the dining area.
[55:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Most of the time, this was a necessary, at worst, a curious child would wander toward the exit, and they weren't accompanied by an adult.
[56:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The puppet was simply intercepted and nudged them back toward the place space.
[56:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The system worked, it was safe, and predictable.
[56:22] \[UNKNOWN\]: I will turn the J.E.
[56:30] \[UNKNOWN\]: to the power of the citizens.
[56:32] \[SPEAKER_09\]: Create a time for the citizens.
[56:36] \[UNKNOWN\]: I need your gifts.
[56:38] \[UNKNOWN\]: Save the powers.
[56:38] \[UNKNOWN\]: Don't make me a question.
[56:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Even the children who locked Charlotte outside knew how the puppet behaved.
[56:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They knew it would interfere, ruin their prank.
[56:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So before they carried out their joke, they made sure the puppet couldn't leave its station.
[56:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The dragged over a heavy prize box from one of the courted displays, a chest full of plush toys and arcade tokens, and set it squarely on the top of the puppet's gift box.
[57:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The lid was too narrow for it to lit from the inside when waited down.
[57:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Normally, the puppet could peek out through the slats.
[57:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's glowing eyes flickering like a shy creature, playing hide and seek.
[57:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But now, it can only rattled the lid from below, thumping feebly against the prize box as it's servo strained to obey its protocol.
[57:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Satisfied that their prank had gone off without a hitch.
[57:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The kids ran back to the dining room, laughing, high-viving each other, like they just pulled off the best trick in the world.
[57:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Outside, Charlotte stood in the rain, shivering violently.
[57:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Her shirt clung to her small brain, soaked through, jeans heavy and sagging with water.
[58:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It looked as if she left fully closed into a swimming pool.
[58:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She tasted salt on her tongue, not from the rain, but from the tears streaming down her cheeks, mixing with the cold and run-off that drip of her so tear.
[58:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Her small fist pounded on the door, her cries muffled beneath the clamour of our Kate sounds and party music on the other side.
[58:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She was right there, just outside.
[58:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And no one could hear her.
[58:52] \[SPEAKER_07\]: Little Charlie?
[58:53] \[SPEAKER_05\]: Oh, go away!
[58:57] \[SPEAKER_07\]: What are you doing out here?
[58:59] \[SPEAKER_07\]: Rain's sweet odds.
[59:02] \[SPEAKER_07\]: Shouldn't you be inside?
[59:05] \[SPEAKER_05\]: The other kids, they look me out.
[59:11] \[SPEAKER_05\]: So cold.
[59:13] \[SPEAKER_07\]: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that Charlie.
[59:17] \[SPEAKER_07\]: Kids can be very cruel when they want to be.
[59:27] \[SPEAKER_07\]: All right, here's what we're going to do.
[59:31] \[SPEAKER_07\]: You're going to take my hands and we're going to walk around to the back entrance.
[59:37] \[SPEAKER_07\]: All right, we'll get you inside and you can clean up in my office.
[59:44] \[SPEAKER_07\]: All and dry in no time.
[59:48] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I want my daddy.
[59:52] \[SPEAKER_07\]: Oh, I know that your daddy is very busy right now, but I'll look after you in the meantime.
[1:00:02] \[SPEAKER_07\]: Trust me.
[1:00:06] \[SPEAKER_05\]: I'm so cold.
[1:00:08] \[SPEAKER_07\]: Come now, don't want you catching hypothermia now, do we?
[1:00:14] \[SPEAKER_07\]: That would be a tragedy.
[1:00:17] \[SPEAKER_07\]: Follow me.
[1:00:32] \[SPEAKER_10\]: Remember those must recover child begin retrieval process
[1:00:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Inside the crate, the security puppet trucked forward, as the heavy prize box shifted.
[1:00:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The repeated thrashing had finally nudged it enough to expose a sliver of space.
[1:00:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It pressed its weight on one side, dragging the crate's lid just enough to slide free.
[1:00:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The puppet stood tall.
[1:01:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's been limbs flexed.
[1:01:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And in one swift motion, it pushed the hatch open, stepping out into the dining room.
[1:01:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Without hesitation, it moved toward the entrance.
[1:01:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's limbs slicing to the air and long purposeful strides.
[1:01:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It reached the front doors.
[1:01:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Ice scanning for the color coded signal is unlock the door.
[1:01:28] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The puppet stepped outside, and the girl was gone.
[1:01:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The rain battered down on the puppet, soaking a slender frame and hissing against the exposed wiring.
[1:01:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It didn't have to go far.
[1:01:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The child's signal was close, somewhere in the back alley.
[1:01:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Turn into corner, it moves slowly.
[1:01:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's along the limb as a clinking and groaning with each step, down the dirty brick wall to corridor.
[1:02:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Advertisements and flyers clung to the soaked walls, blurred and torn in the wind.
[1:02:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: One of its arms locked with mechanical screech.
[1:02:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Rainwater was seabing into its servos, causing sparks to jump beneath its metal plating.
[1:02:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And a much funnicks were never meant to be outside, not for long and never in the rain.
[1:02:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But she was close.
[1:02:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It could make it.
[1:02:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It had to.
[1:02:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: This is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe, this is safe,
[1:02:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The puppet staggered forward, each movement slower, more straining than the last.
[1:02:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's beat dragged through shallow puddles until, finally, it saw her, Charlotte.
[1:03:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: she was lying, crumbled beside a dumpster, motionless, tire tracks carved into the wet ground near a peak, suggested someone had left in a hurry, very recently, strands of her hair drifted weekly in the wind, a pool of red bitter neck, widen, slowly,
[1:03:34] \[SPEAKER_11\]: It was too late.
[1:03:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The puppet's purpose, its singular mission, was to protect the children of Freddy's.
[1:03:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: In more than that, to protect her.
[1:03:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The reason for its creation, peace of mind for its creator, protecting his pride in joy.
[1:04:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But now his joy was gone.
[1:04:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It took a shaky step forward, and collapsed.
[1:04:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Its legs gave out completely, sparking as they hit the soaked pavement.
[1:04:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But it didn't stop, it couldn't, it dragged itself forward with two jittering, have functional arms, the wet earth clung to its fingertips, fabric worn through by the scrape of concrete and mud.
[1:04:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: finally, it reached her.
[1:04:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It couldn't carry her back inside.
[1:04:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It couldn't raise the alarm too much damage had been done to it by the weather to not just its brain, but even its protocols had begun to fry.
[1:05:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Even if it could do something, anything, it couldn't undo what had been done.
[1:05:11] \[SPEAKER_11\]: But there was one thing left it could do.
[1:05:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: With the last of its strength, the puppet extended its long arms, and gently wrapped them around, sharpness, lightless body.
[1:05:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Then, with a quiet word, it collapsed fully, pressing itself over her like a blanket, and embrace a shield against the wind and rain, a goodbye that she didn't deserve, but was the best it could do to help her, protect her,
[1:06:33] \[SPEAKER_11\]: This song is not over, but this song, that she's in her mind, and this is like a she's in her mind.
[1:06:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Michael leaned against the outer wall of the Pizzeria, his eyes drifting over the collage of posters and flyers that clung to the alleyway across from him.
[1:07:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The rain was still rampaging above him.
[1:07:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The air was thick with its scent, wet concrete, soaked paper and distant thunder.
[1:07:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He hadn't connected the dots until he installed that all security puppet.
[1:07:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The memories had been hazy.
[1:07:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He was young during Freddy's hayday, and to remember it all clearly, too much had happened.
[1:07:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The trauma, the guilt, the blur that followed his brother's death.
[1:07:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But the moment he saw the puppet, that lanky frame and familiar black fabric with white stripes, something clicked.
[1:07:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: This place, it had to be hit.
[1:07:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It explained everything, the small cramped layout, the remnants of something older buried beneath years of painting plaster, and suddenly, the years of confusion of questions that haunted his late nights began to fall into place.
[1:08:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Michael lit out a long breath and turned toward the entrance.
[1:08:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: As he stepped toward the door, he cast one less glance at the storming sky above.
[1:08:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: For just a second, the corner of his rotten lips twitched upward, a faint fleeting smile on his decayed face.
[1:08:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The kind of smile one gives when nearly the end of a long and arduous voyage on a tumultuous sea.
[1:08:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: over 30 years, 30 years of chasing ghost and rectifying guilt, of cleaning up a bloodstained legacy not all his own, and maybe, just maybe, it would all be enough, but maybe when it was all said and done, his little brother could forgive him.
[1:09:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: or maybe, if forgiveness wasn't possible, he could finally find the strength to face him in the next life, but to look him at the eye, to say, I'm sorry, I'm sorry for everything I have done, and I can only hope I did everything I could to make it right.
[1:09:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: he reached into his pocket, pulled out a ring of keys, and slid one into the lock, with a final middle click.
[1:09:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He shut the steel doors behind him.
[1:10:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: As Michael walked through what had once been a modest establishment,
[1:10:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He took a final look around the transformed interior.
[1:10:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What used to be a humble diner had become an entertainment hall.
[1:10:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Full of bright lights, flashy attractions, and sugary sentiment to draw in children like a must of flame.
[1:10:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: There were games for all ages, good food, and better memories waiting to be made.
[1:10:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: it should have been a place of laughter, a place for families, not a funeral, a space of joy, not a haunted legacy.
[1:10:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: In another life, maybe he could have been an entrepreneur.
[1:10:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Maybe he could have built something real, but that chance of normality was removed the moment his body was taken by the scooper.
[1:11:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And before even that, it was forfeit the moment he took a life with his own hands.
[1:11:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: There was only one package he ordered today, with what little money he had left.
[1:11:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Michael bought himself, a jar of pickles, a strange comfort he knew, but it was one of his favorite personal snacks, the briny tang and crunch grounded him for a moment.
[1:11:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: the simplicity of it brought a chuckle to his lips, even if hollow.
[1:11:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He thought about the ridiculousness of it all, fighting through absurd lawsuits, overseen ass-in-ine mini-game attractions, and navigating fasbear entertainment's endless red tape.
[1:11:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: All while trying to keep the undead contained in a maze of vents and hallways beneath the floorboards.
[1:12:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Life might have started.
[1:12:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: There's a tragedy for him, but it would not in that way.
[1:12:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Now, with this, this was going to end beautifully on his terms.
[1:12:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Michael stepped into his underground office.
[1:12:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He hadn't even bothered to open the restaurant for the day.
[1:12:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What would be the point?
[1:12:28] \[SPEAKER_01\]: a few disappointed children maybe, but after today, they'd be safer than they'd ever been.
[1:12:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He went through his final managerial duties, mostly as a way to pass the time.
[1:12:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The robots were restless now, four of them clambered through the ventilation shafts like rats in the walls, three of them starving and searching for food.
[1:12:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They had become desperate and frantic and their attempts to escape.
[1:12:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It was almost impossible to keep track of them anymore, but Michael had learned.
[1:13:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: When you cut the air circulation, you could hear them better.
[1:13:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You could hear molten furdies broken hyena like laugh echoing from the dark.
[1:13:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You could hear his father's venom lace threats.
[1:13:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The same voice that had haunted his dreams for decades.
[1:13:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And you could hear his sister, always searching.
[1:13:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And lefty know, the marionette.
[1:13:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: remained deathly silent as ever.
[1:13:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It made her the most difficult to pin down, but Michael had prepared, through sweat, instincted unwavering focus.
[1:13:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He managed to finish his tasks.
[1:13:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And finally, he activated a system of log-off sequence.
[1:14:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It was done.
[1:14:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He moved to the exit, locked the shut, sealing the fate of everything behind his side of the doors.
[1:14:14] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He didn't leave, he stayed behind, he settled into his office chair.
[1:14:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: alone in the dark, and waited, somewhere deep in the black of the ventilation system, a soft voice echoed.
[1:14:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It was the voice of his sister.
[1:14:41] \[SPEAKER_03\]: You played riding to our hands.
[1:14:44] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Did you really think that this job just fell out of the sky for you?
[1:14:50] \[SPEAKER_03\]: No.
[1:14:52] \[SPEAKER_03\]: This was a gift for us.
[1:14:56] \[SPEAKER_03\]: You gathered them all together in one place, just like he asked you to.
[1:15:03] \[SPEAKER_03\]: All of those little souls in one place just for us a gift.
[1:15:14] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Now we can do what we were created to do and be complete.
[1:15:23] \[SPEAKER_03\]: Watch, listen, I'm be full.
[1:15:29] \[SPEAKER_04\]: Connection terminated.
[1:15:30] \[SPEAKER_04\]: I'm sorry to interrupt you, Elizabeth.
[1:15:33] \[SPEAKER_04\]: If you still even remember that name, but I'm afraid you've been misinformed.
[1:15:38] \[SPEAKER_04\]: You are not here to receive a gift, nor have you been called here by the individual you assume, although you have indeed been called.
[1:15:47] \[SPEAKER_04\]: You have all been called here, into 11 of sounds and smells,
[1:15:53] \[SPEAKER_04\]: A labyrinth with no exit, a maze with no prize.
[1:15:56] \[SPEAKER_04\]: You don't even realize that you are trapped.
[1:15:59] \[SPEAKER_04\]: You're less for blood as driven you in endless circles, chasing the cries of children in some unseen chamber always seem so near, in somehow out of reach.
[1:16:09] \[SPEAKER_04\]: But you will never find them, none of you will.
[1:16:12] \[SPEAKER_04\]: This is where your story ends.
[1:16:14] \[SPEAKER_04\]: And to you, my brave volunteer, who somehow found this job listing, not intended for you.
[1:16:20] \[SPEAKER_04\]: Although there was a way out plan for you, I have a feeling that's not what you want.
[1:16:25] \[SPEAKER_04\]: I have a feeling that you are right where you want to be.
[1:16:27] \[SPEAKER_04\]: I am remaining as well.
[1:16:30] \[SPEAKER_04\]: I am nearby.
[1:16:31] \[SPEAKER_04\]: This place will not be remembered and the memory of everything that started this can finally begin to fade away.
[1:16:39] \[SPEAKER_04\]: As the agony of every tragedy should.
[1:16:41] \[SPEAKER_04\]: And to you monsters trapped in the corridors, be still and give up your spirits.
[1:16:48] \[SPEAKER_04\]: They don't belong to you.
[1:16:50] \[SPEAKER_04\]: For most of you, I believe there is peace and perhaps more, waiting for you after the small clears.
[1:16:56] \[SPEAKER_04\]: Although for one of you, the darkest pit of hell has opened to swallow you whole, so don't keep the devil waiting for friend.
[1:17:05] \[SPEAKER_04\]: My daughter, if you can hear me, I knew you would return as well.
[1:17:10] \[SPEAKER_04\]: It's in your nature to protect the innocent.
[1:17:12] \[SPEAKER_04\]: I'm sorry that on that day, the day you were shut out and left to die.
[1:17:17] \[SPEAKER_04\]: No one was there to lift you up into their arms, the way you lifted others into yours.
[1:17:23] \[SPEAKER_04\]: And then what became of you?
[1:17:25] \[SPEAKER_04\]: I should have known you wouldn't be content to disappear, not to my daughter.
[1:17:29] \[SPEAKER_04\]: I couldn't save you then.
[1:17:31] \[SPEAKER_04\]: So let me save you now.
[1:17:33] \[SPEAKER_04\]: It's time to rest for you.
[1:17:35] \[SPEAKER_04\]: And for those you have carried in your arms.
[1:17:39] \[SPEAKER_04\]: This ends for all of us in communication.

[1:18:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: somewhere in Hurricane Utah, a small grave site respenete the crest of a quiet hill.
[1:18:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: A tall tree stands watch.
[1:18:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Its branches gently swaying above a single grave nestled beside its roots.
[1:18:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: From here, the hill overlooks wide open grasslands that stretch out toward the horizon.
[1:19:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The wind dances gracefully across the field, pulling the tall grass into soft waves, as if the earth itself were breathing.
[1:19:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Near the base of the hill, a cluster of tombstones stands together.
[1:19:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: etched into the worn stone are the names of those lay to rest beneath the.
[1:19:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Gabriel, Fritz, Susie, and Jeremy.
[1:19:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: One final name lies hidden beneath the patch of overgrown grass.
[1:19:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's identities softened by time in nature's touch.
[1:19:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The storm has passed.
[1:19:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The sun has risen.
[1:19:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: a new day is dawding, and perhaps somewhere beyond all this, a brighter future awaits.
[1:20:14] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And with that, I believe we reached a fitting close to tonight's episode.
