What if your biggest wrestle isn’t against your circumstances, but against your own desires—and God’s grace is waiting to meet you there? In this episode of Deepen, Pastor Joby Martin, Pastor Ryan Britt, and Ali Parsons unpack the Jacob & Esau narrative to show how our fight for control, identity, and blessing still echoes today. From Old Testament “stew trades” to our modern struggles with loneliness, grief, and finances, you’ll discover why surrender—tapping out of self-reliance—is the true path to freedom. Whether you’re wrestling with your “stew,” stuck in manipulative patterns, or longing to trust God with your deepest fears, this conversation will help you recognize God’s invitation to walk with a limp that leads to life. 📣 Episode Mentions: • Scripture Passages: Genesis 25-28, Hebrews 12 • Praying Like Monks, Living Like Fools by Tyler Staton 📌 Supplemental Sermon Resources: • This Week's Story • This Week's Sermon • In The Arena Sermon Series About The Church of Eleven22 The Church of Eleven22® is a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.
