[0:16] SPEAKER_08: Oh, you need to look at it.
[0:33] SPEAKER_00: Where are we recording?
[0:35] SPEAKER_00: We're recording.
[0:37] SPEAKER_00: Recordy Spagordy.
[0:39] SPEAKER_00: Hello, everybody.
[0:40] SPEAKER_00: Welcome to this episode.
[0:43] SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be an episode of Don't Look Under the Internet featuring the likes of yours truly.
[0:48] SPEAKER_00: That's Matt.
[0:49] SPEAKER_00: He's swinging away at a brewski.
[0:51] SPEAKER_04: It's been a hot minute since I've had any alcohol on the show.
[0:55] SPEAKER_04: Hot minute.
[0:56] SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna lie, I almost almost grabbed the bottle of fucking whiskey tonight.
[1:02] SPEAKER_02: I was like, you know what?
[1:03] SPEAKER_02: It's been a while, but I didn't because I have a lot to do tomorrow, to be fair.
[1:06] SPEAKER_02: But I was like, this close.
[1:10] SPEAKER_02: And that's I'm done.
[1:13] SPEAKER_04: You know what else is a hot minute?
[1:15] SPEAKER_04: Everything's a hot minute for me right now because it's a hundred degrees in southern Indiana and I am fucking dying, and so is my AC.
[1:22] SPEAKER_04: And I'm going to go to the house.
[1:23] SPEAKER_04: Mike gets to experience it this week.
[1:24] SPEAKER_01: A day.
[1:25] SPEAKER_01: You gotta be fucking, you gotta be fucked up.
[1:27] SPEAKER_01: Why would you wait till the day before to tell me this shit?
[1:30] SPEAKER_01: I didn't even know.
[1:30] SPEAKER_04: I didn't know it was gonna be that hot this weekend.
[1:34] SPEAKER_01: You're a fucking masochist or whatever.
[1:35] SPEAKER_01: Let's go on.
[1:37] SPEAKER_04: A sadist.
[1:39] SPEAKER_04: I mean, when the sun goes down, it it starts getting cooler.
[1:41] SPEAKER_01: So like when I wake up, I'm gonna be drenched in sweat.
[1:47] SPEAKER_04: No, it doesn't really become an issue until like noon or early afternoon.
[1:51] SPEAKER_04: You'll be alright.
[1:52] SPEAKER_04: It'll be okay.
[1:53] SPEAKER_00: Your AC I bet your A your air conditioner sounds like uh like an old jalopy in a cartoon.
[2:03] SPEAKER_00: Sounds like gum shots.
[2:08] SPEAKER_00: Um I'm also Mike.
[2:10] SPEAKER_00: Hello, how do you do?
[2:12] SPEAKER_00: Uh welcome to um but welcome to Don't Look Under the Internet.
[2:19] SPEAKER_00: Well, uh I once again start us off with a little bit of diluty housekeeping.
[2:25] SPEAKER_00: Boys, do we have any announcements that we want to make about?
[2:30] SPEAKER_02: Well we thought maybe we would, and then I think we might as well make at least a small announcement because I agree.
[2:39] SPEAKER_02: So we've been talking a lot.
[2:41] SPEAKER_02: Basically, I guess what I'm trying to say here is that we're gonna be switching up the format of how we do our our episodes.
[2:47] SPEAKER_02: And if you feel so inclined to let us know that you hate it or you love it, please do because we really do want your guys' feedback.
[2:54] SPEAKER_02: We have a bunch of ten dollar Patreons that don't even take advantage of our live recording.
[2:58] SPEAKER_02: So we're kind of curious if like if is that why you sign up for the ten dollars?
[3:02] SPEAKER_02: Is like is that something that you want to keep doing?
[3:04] SPEAKER_02: Like, do you like what is it that you want out of your ten dollars?
[3:07] SPEAKER_02: Like, tell us.
[3:08] SPEAKER_00: We're also gonna be changing up um like the types of episodes we do.
[3:14] SPEAKER_00: I think we ran the analog horror train to the the foreseeable stop.
[3:21] SPEAKER_00: It's it's kind of hit its stop for the time being.
[3:23] SPEAKER_00: We're gonna obviously cover more in the future, but um for now, we're trying to avoid them.
[3:31] SPEAKER_02: I just think that what we want to do is we we we pro like we have come off as an internet mystery oddity podcast, and we basically have put ourselves in this small area of just internet horror and you say the words come off, it makes it sound like it's not intentional, like that's not exactly what we tried to do.
[3:50] SPEAKER_00: So, what we're gonna attempt to do going forward is we're gonna attempt to find a lot more of like the hidden things on like Reddit, for example.
[3:57] SPEAKER_00: We found a lot of joy in doing those Reddit episodes.
[4:00] SPEAKER_00: Um I had us stumble across a an episode that or episode a website that I love uh and I wanted us to dive deeper into as well.
[4:12] SPEAKER_00: Uh, a site called Bibliotheca Pleiades.
[4:15] SPEAKER_00: And uh I would like if we made those a like diving into the chaos of that website a bit more of a regular thing, too.
[4:22] SPEAKER_00: I I think focusing too much on YouTube kind of had us lose uh uh what we were in the beginning, which was finding just random shit on the internet and talking about it.
[4:35] SPEAKER_00: And I think going back to that with like finding weird ass things on Reddit, weird ass shit on bibliothek at Pleiades, um finding other weird websites, like when we went to um I forgot the name of that search engine.
[4:46] SPEAKER_00: We use that search engine that found old like fucking Neo Geo or whatever or yeah, I know what you're talking about.
[4:53] SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so long finding things like that.
[4:55] SPEAKER_02: If you guys like it, we want to know.
[4:57] SPEAKER_02: That's the biggest part is like if we do an episode where we don't talk about anything scary the whole time, but we're you know talking about interesting stuff, and you like it, let us know that because then we can do more of that.
[5:07] SPEAKER_02: Like if you don't like it, let us know, and we won't do that.
[5:10] SPEAKER_04: So yeah, I think it we're just saying this is we're tired of YouTube and we're transitioning from being an internet whore comedy podcast to just being a things we found on the internet this week comedy podcast.
[5:27] SPEAKER_04: Yeah, all right.
[5:28] SPEAKER_04: I got a uh uh Reddit post from a man named Jared Jared J Rod J-E-A-R-R-O D 95 from five years ago, and I think this is actually a repost from R Confession because it says from R Confession at the top, so I don't know if it was originally posted by a different person, but I don't really I think that's beside the point.
[5:54] SPEAKER_04: I'm just gonna read this and I'm gonna so warning up top.
[5:59] SPEAKER_04: This is gross, it's really nasty.
[6:02] SPEAKER_04: And if you aren't ready for just nastiness today, uh find something else to do.
[6:09] SPEAKER_04: Um, so this is called Parasite Man.
[6:13] SPEAKER_04: And like I said, I'm just gonna read it.
[6:15] SPEAKER_04: My obsession hurts others around me.
[6:17] SPEAKER_04: It's also my fetish, but it goes for deeper than that, far deeper than that.
[6:22] SPEAKER_04: I'll try to explain the obsession the best I can by explaining how it started.
[6:26] SPEAKER_04: Basically, when I was young, I caught penworms.
[6:30] SPEAKER_04: It was a strange feeling and the itch was painful.
[6:32] SPEAKER_04: My parents took me to the doctor and I got medication to cure it.
[6:36] SPEAKER_04: This event is what sparked my obsession.
[6:39] SPEAKER_04: The thought that my body could be their whole world, their lifeline, almost a planet of sorts.
[6:44] SPEAKER_04: It was so interesting.
[6:46] SPEAKER_04: After that, I began researching penworms and other parasites, and I found out that the human body already hosts parasites such as Demodex and their eyelash in your eyelashes, and I wanted to know how many a human body could endure without a chance of serious health issues.
[7:03] SPEAKER_04: This curiosity has plagued my mind for years.
[7:07] SPEAKER_04: I'm now 25, but I'm very well versed in parasites, as I have been studying them for over 10 years.
[7:13] SPEAKER_04: I also purposely infect myself with non-lethal parasites because it's part of a fetish of mine.
[7:19] SPEAKER_04: Some have worked better than others.
[7:20] SPEAKER_04: Quite a few have given me serious diarrhea and fevers, while others have been much more bearable.
[7:26] SPEAKER_04: I currently have penworms and tapeworms, various non-pathogenic protozoa and public and pubiclice.
[7:32] SPEAKER_04: I am incredibly masoch masochistic, so although it's uncomfortable, I do feel pleasure from it.
[7:38] SPEAKER_04: All these parasites mean I need to eat a lot more than the average person and I still look thin.
[7:43] SPEAKER_04: And to be quite honest, it means that I can enjoy so much more food than most people.
[7:47] SPEAKER_04: I also keep multiple cultures of bedbugs and leeches in containers and allow them to feed on my blood sometimes.
[7:53] SPEAKER_04: Although those kinds are not really my passion, as they do not live primarily on the human body, but I think they're interesting nonetheless, and I find them pretty cute.
[8:01] SPEAKER_04: Now, it's time for my confession.
[8:05] SPEAKER_03: This guy's dead, right?
[8:07] SPEAKER_03: So this guy's dead, right?
[8:09] SPEAKER_03: Uh let me look.
[8:11] SPEAKER_03: Let me look, let me look, let me look.
[8:13] SPEAKER_04: Nope, he posted something 25 days ago.
[8:15] SPEAKER_04: So unless he's died in the last few weeks, he's still around.
[8:19] SPEAKER_04: Now it's time for my confession.
[8:21] SPEAKER_04: So that wasn't the confession.
[8:23] SPEAKER_04: This is the confession.
[8:25] SPEAKER_04: My obsession in fetish isn't just about infecting myself anymore.
[8:28] SPEAKER_04: I also have the desire to infect others, and I have acted on those desires.
[8:32] SPEAKER_04: Sometimes my parasites just pioneered in new lands on their own.
[8:36] SPEAKER_04: My family have caught pinworms multiple times without my intention, and other times I purposefully spread them.
[8:42] SPEAKER_04: I've infected strangers, friends, and even my own family.
[8:45] SPEAKER_04: I know it's bad, but I just can't stop.
[8:48] SPEAKER_00: He would hide a zombie bite if he isn't a zombie bite.
[8:53] SPEAKER_00: Oh, 100%.
[8:55] SPEAKER_04: And he loves it.
[8:57] SPEAKER_04: I think I have parasites in my brain, and that makes me feel like I need to spread them.
[9:01] SPEAKER_04: I know how crazy that sounds, but if you know the feeling, you'd understand.
[9:05] SPEAKER_04: Maybe it's just a mental illness, or maybe its origin is parasitic in nature.
[9:09] SPEAKER_04: I really don't know.
[9:10] SPEAKER_04: All I know is that it feels good when I do these things.
[9:13] SPEAKER_04: I feel an intense need to spread my children, and when I do, I feel pleasure.
[9:18] SPEAKER_04: I must have spread thousands of my children over the years.
[9:20] SPEAKER_04: I sometimes sprinkle tapeworm eggs into people's drinks when I'm out of clubs.
[9:24] SPEAKER_02: Come on, man.
[9:25] SPEAKER_04: I also caught pubic.
[9:27] SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
[9:28] SPEAKER_04: I also caught pubic lice from sex with a random woman I met at some club, and in return, I'm pretty sure I gave her pinworms.
[9:35] SPEAKER_04: So it was a trade.
[9:36] SPEAKER_04: The woman wasn't even attractive.
[9:38] SPEAKER_04: I just wanted to gift her some penworms, and instead I basically won the jackpot by sleeping with her.
[9:43] SPEAKER_04: I then spread my pubic lice to at least four other women.
[9:45] SPEAKER_04: Sometimes I sprinkle worms' eggs into food and buffets whenever I visit them.
[9:50] SPEAKER_04: Yes, I understand you would think that it's gross and messed up.
[9:52] SPEAKER_04: I'm basically betraying my species for my children.
[9:55] SPEAKER_04: It's hard.
[9:56] SPEAKER_04: I do enjoy people and I do have wonderful friends and family, but I also love my parasites and my fetish, and it's just too hard to control.
[10:03] SPEAKER_04: I don't want to hurt anyone when I do these things, but a force beyond my understanding is driving me to do it.
[10:08] SPEAKER_04: I think I could possibly have a parasite in my brain that has not yet been discovered.
[10:12] SPEAKER_04: I'm sorry to all the people that I've caused discomfort to, but it's for a cause beyond human understanding.
[10:17] SPEAKER_04: Although this is all justif this can all be justifiable, I still feel guilt.
[10:22] SPEAKER_04: I don't want to hurt anyone.
[10:24] SPEAKER_04: I hope the people that I spread my gifts to can find it in their hearts to be a little more open-minded and not kill my children, but learn to live with them like I have.
[10:32] SPEAKER_04: I'm aware how strange and disgusting others will find me if they knew.
[10:35] SPEAKER_04: I'm aware of how immoral this seems to most people.
[10:38] SPEAKER_04: I assume you may see me in a negative light light after reading this, but remember that I only want what's best for my children, and if you were truly in my shoes, I'm sure you would do the same.
[10:50] SPEAKER_06: This is a madman.
[10:53] SPEAKER_02: I can never go to a buffet again.
[10:55] SPEAKER_02: Yep.
[10:56] SPEAKER_02: No.
[10:58] SPEAKER_02: A buffet?
[10:59] SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[11:01] SPEAKER_02: Sorry, Jimmy, but I can't go to your buffet anymore.
[11:04] SPEAKER_02: Can't do it, Jimmy.
[11:05] SPEAKER_02: That's fucked.
[11:06] SPEAKER_02: I don't even I there's so I'm sure I don't know if we've read it on this, but there's like another guy who's very similar, but he does it with STDs and like stuff.
[11:18] SPEAKER_04: There's a whole subreddit to that, I think.
[11:20] SPEAKER_04: It's called chasers or something.
[11:22] SPEAKER_02: Like bug catchers or something, or something like that.
[11:25] SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's fucking crazy work and it's disgusting.
[11:28] SPEAKER_02: And I hate it.
[11:30] SPEAKER_02: This person should probably die.
[11:33] SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
[11:34] SPEAKER_00: He said he posted 25 days ago.
[11:37] SPEAKER_00: What'd he post?
[11:38] SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[11:38] SPEAKER_00: Yeah, what'd he post?
[11:40] SPEAKER_00: Uh nudes.
[11:42] SPEAKER_00: It's just a cop.
[11:45] SPEAKER_04: A picture of some Pokemon cards he bought.
[12:27] SPEAKER_02: Wow, he's living his best life, huh?
[12:32] SPEAKER_02: The pen burns are like, you must you must collect the Pokemon.
[12:36] SPEAKER_02: I hope this is made up, honestly.
[12:38] SPEAKER_02: I really hope it's made up.
[12:40] SPEAKER_02: It seems too detailed to be made up.
[12:43] SPEAKER_04: Yeah, like I said, I don't know if this is actually the person who originally posted this.
[12:51] SPEAKER_04: They didn't link to an original or anything like that.
[12:55] SPEAKER_02: So Reddit's crazy.
[12:59] SPEAKER_06: I don't know how like all the like reposting and like shit works anymore.
[13:08] SPEAKER_07: But it's a post somebody made and put on the internet.
[13:12] SPEAKER_06: Alright, well.
[13:14] SPEAKER_02: Let me have uh you wanna go.
[13:17] SPEAKER_00: Let me let me let me give it a try again.
[13:18] SPEAKER_00: Let me give it a try again.
[13:19] SPEAKER_00: Alright.
[13:20] SPEAKER_00: Let me give it a try again.
[13:21] SPEAKER_00: I found I found the one I ru I I want to talk about more, so I'll do that one.
[13:26] SPEAKER_00: So this is an R slash the truth is here by Yellow Rice Macaroons about 10 years ago.
[13:33] SPEAKER_00: And this is a post that says, Remember the creepy story about Jimmy C and the Black Mercedes?
[13:39] SPEAKER_00: Update.
[13:40] SPEAKER_00: Now the original post I am not gonna read because it is way too fucking long.
[13:47] SPEAKER_00: Uh but there is a post.
[13:48] SPEAKER_00: I'll start this off real quick.
[13:49] SPEAKER_00: It says, so you guys might remember earlier this year, some Redditor posted a creepy story.
[13:53] SPEAKER_00: He swore was truth about an encounter with some being who said to call him Jimmy C, who supposedly committed suicide by jumping off the San Francisco Bay Bridge.
[14:03] SPEAKER_00: He told the Redditor that he'd be back to kill him in 10 years, and that he'd be driving a black Mercedes with the license plate Utopia.
[14:10] SPEAKER_00: He links to the full story for the old one in this post, um, and another one with other people doing research and more documentation onto the post as well.
[14:19] SPEAKER_00: Again, I'm not gonna go into the original as much because goddamn, it is long.
[14:23] SPEAKER_00: Motherfucker's a novella.
[14:24] SPEAKER_00: But TLDR, someone TLDR'd it already, which is good.
[14:28] SPEAKER_00: The original post basically it says a young man decided to take an impromptu day off work and spend the day with his girlfriend.
[14:34] SPEAKER_00: An individual, quite possibly a demon, sat between this young man and his girlfriend at a rather empty bar.
[14:39] SPEAKER_00: This individual told the boyfriend that he was supposed to be fishing that day and claim his uh that he was supposed to be out fishing that day and he's here to claim his soul.
[14:47] SPEAKER_00: The individual was driving a white beetle at the time with a license plate fierce.
[14:52] SPEAKER_00: The individual said he'll be back in a black Mercedes with the license plate utopia to take the boyfriend's soul in 10 years.
[14:59] SPEAKER_00: OP kept tabs on a black Mercedes with uh the uh license plate utopia.
[15:04] SPEAKER_00: Basically, um he kept checking out the internet for like basically Google alerts for black Mercedes Utopia license plate, things like that.
[15:15] SPEAKER_00: Um and he noticed that's what he needs.
[15:19] SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right.
[15:20] SPEAKER_00: He noticed that the license plate sat unregistered for quite some time, and now it has recently popped up re-registered with brand new tires.
[15:29] SPEAKER_00: So this is what this post gets into a little bit.
[15:32] SPEAKER_00: So this guy has done some research on his own, and he says, So at the time I'd done a search for the car, I'm going to be careful here, try not to run afoul of any rules.
[15:42] SPEAKER_00: Um, and I found that a black Mercedes with the plate utopia really did exist in California.
[15:48] SPEAKER_00: Um he said it was a while it was a really interesting story, uh I liked it a lot, so I'd been doing a bunch of digging and found records for it.
[15:56] SPEAKER_00: And I discovered that it hadn't been registered with a DMV in a while and had expired registration.
[16:01] SPEAKER_00: And it hadn't been serviced in a while.
[16:04] SPEAKER_00: It was at uh but it has recently popped up, literally 10 years later.
[16:08] SPEAKER_00: It was uh as if it were just bought at the start of the year, like late December 2015, to be exact, and then parked in a garage somewhere for months.
[16:17] SPEAKER_00: I'd sign up for Carfax at the time with the car's information and completely forgot about it until I just got email asking how the recent maintenance on a Mercedes went.
[16:26] SPEAKER_00: So I logged in and found that on Friday the car was taken in to get new tires put on it.
[16:31] SPEAKER_00: Now here's what's interesting.
[16:32] SPEAKER_00: Not only has the car apparently been registered and got new tires, and thus Lee is apparently back on the road, but the place it was registered and taken for tires is just a short distance from the San Francisco Bay Bridge.
[16:43] SPEAKER_00: I don't know if I'm allowed to post the name of the actual store for privacy's sake, so I'll keep that to myself until now uh until I know for sure.
[16:49] SPEAKER_00: But I'll show you the place on the map.
[16:50] SPEAKER_00: And he posts a uh an Imger link um showing that the like the GPS coordinates.
[16:59] SPEAKER_00: Um he says, in case you miss a tidbit in the story, Johnny C.
[17:01] SPEAKER_00: claims he committed suicide off of the San Francisco Bridge.
[17:04] SPEAKER_00: Not here, of course, and the story might just be fake, but it's pretty weird coincidence that this car is suddenly back on the road after having been parked and with brand new tires just in time for Halloween, and it matches up with the story.
[17:15] SPEAKER_00: So basically, demons like I'm gonna take your soul in ten years, look out for Madame Mercedes.
[17:22] SPEAKER_00: And ten years later, random ass Mercedes comes up with a license plate in that area and it is deregistered for 10 years, re-registered 10 years later with brand new tires and service done to it.
[17:37] SPEAKER_07: It's a wear car.
[17:39] SPEAKER_06: Wear a car.
[17:41] SPEAKER_06: Must be a wear car.
[17:45] SPEAKER_06: What do you guys think?
[17:46] SPEAKER_06: Do you think it's a real or a fake?
[17:49] SPEAKER_07: You really want to know.
[17:53] SPEAKER_04: Or do you want the fun answer?
[17:55] SPEAKER_02: I want the fun answer.
[17:57] SPEAKER_02: I think we're gonna see this at a NASCAR event soon.
[18:01] SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah.
[18:02] SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah.
[18:03] SPEAKER_02: And it's gonna be going left a little bit better than other cars.
[18:09] SPEAKER_00: It's all the souls.
[18:11] SPEAKER_00: I recommend SPH.
[18:14] SPEAKER_00: Soul for power.
[18:16] SPEAKER_00: Uh I recommend looking it up though.
[18:18] SPEAKER_00: Uh, like I said, the original Reddit uh thread is very fucking long.
[18:23] SPEAKER_00: Um but you can find it online.
[18:25] SPEAKER_00: Just uh just look up Jimmy C Demon Story.
[18:28] SPEAKER_00: Um wait, no, don't look it up.
[18:30] SPEAKER_00: We're telling you to do the opposite of uh yeah, don't look under or whatever.
[18:33] SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
[18:34] SPEAKER_02: You can look above, but not under.
[18:36] SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
[18:37] SPEAKER_02: Doug, what do you got for us?
[18:39] SPEAKER_02: All right, so this isn't my phone anyone, obviously, but um this is from uh glitch in the matrix.
[18:46] SPEAKER_02: Um r slash glitch in the matrix.
[18:48] SPEAKER_02: Um, and basically it's from someone named ABQ Mechanic, and it says, My keys were already inside my apartment when I unlocked the door with them.
[18:59] SPEAKER_02: So I got home tonight and unlocked my apartment like normal.
[19:03] SPEAKER_02: I remember physically taking my keys out of the lock and putting them in my pocket.
[19:07] SPEAKER_02: Nothing seemed unusual until I walked into my bedroom and my keys were sitting on my desk.
[19:12] SPEAKER_02: My same keychain and bent grocery store rewards cards, everything, except they were coated in oil, immediately checked my pockets because obviously I must have been holding something else.
[19:22] SPEAKER_02: There was nothing in it.
[19:23] SPEAKER_02: I went back to the front door and checked the lock, nothing.
[19:26] SPEAKER_02: I emptied every pocket and retraced the few steps between the door and my bedroom.
[19:29] SPEAKER_02: I haven't touched the keys on the desk.
[19:32] SPEAKER_02: The oil is weird, it's thickest around the actual key and inside the grooves, and there's an oily outline underneath them like they've been sitting there for hours.
[19:40] SPEAKER_02: I posted before about what I've been calling my third body experience, where for a few moments I could feel myself existing somewhere else while still being completely aware of the body I was in.
[19:51] SPEAKER_02: Ever since then, I've occasionally had these tiny moments where something feels like it already happened, except I remember it happening happening slightly different.
[19:59] SPEAKER_02: When I saw the keys, I got that feeling again immediately.
[20:02] SPEAKER_02: For maybe a second, I remembered putting them on the desk, not imagined it.
[20:06] SPEAKER_02: I remembered it.
[20:07] SPEAKER_02: I could feel the oil on my fingers, but at the exact same time I remembered unlocking the door with them less than a minute earlier.
[20:13] SPEAKER_02: Those two memories don't feel contradictory in my head.
[20:16] SPEAKER_02: That's what's scaring me.
[20:17] SPEAKER_02: They both feel equally real.
[20:19] SPEAKER_02: There has to be some sort of uh some stupid explanation I'm overlooking.
[20:23] SPEAKER_02: Maybe they're duplicates I somehow forgot about.
[20:25] SPEAKER_02: Maybe my memory of unlocking the door is wrong.
[20:28] SPEAKER_02: But then why do I remember both versions?
[20:30] SPEAKER_02: And if those are the keys I left on my desk, what exactly did I unlock my door with?
[20:35] SPEAKER_02: Update.
[20:36] SPEAKER_02: I talked to my neighbor because of the missing 47 minutes, and now I'm more confused.
[20:41] SPEAKER_02: They asked if I was okay earlier because they heard me moving around really fast, banging into things, and apparently yelling or screaming at one point.
[20:47] SPEAKER_02: They thought I was having an argument, except they never heard another another person respond.
[20:52] SPEAKER_02: I don't remember any of that.
[20:53] SPEAKER_02: After they're doing nothing.
[20:57] SPEAKER_02: What is anybody doing?
[21:01] SPEAKER_02: After they told me, I actually looked around instead of focusing on the keys.
[21:05] SPEAKER_02: My bed is shifted away from the wall, a chair is knocked over, and a couple drawers are open.
[21:09] SPEAKER_02: There's some hair in the bathroom sink, and one of my fingernails is split.
[21:13] SPEAKER_02: Now, none of it's extreme enough that I couldn't have done it myself, which makes this worse.
[21:17] SPEAKER_02: I still can't remember those 47 minutes.
[21:19] SPEAKER_02: I do have one really vague memory coming back, but I don't trust it.
[21:22] SPEAKER_02: It feels like the third body thing again.
[21:24] SPEAKER_02: I remember looking down my hallway and seeing someone move around my bedroom.
[21:28] SPEAKER_02: The problem is when I try to remember who I was looking at, I keep getting the feeling it was me.
[21:32] SPEAKER_02: So the update was basically if the it's there's a lot of comments on here, but basically they mentioned that they were like missing 47 minutes of time after opening the door and going to the bedroom.
[21:46] SPEAKER_02: Um and someone says, I don't know what to tell you.
[21:48] SPEAKER_02: This could range from a medical issue, a mental issue, a supernatural issue, alien abduction, or something entirely else.
[21:54] SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry, I have no advice for you.
[21:55] SPEAKER_02: Good luck.
[21:56] SPEAKER_02: Sorry, I don't want to tell you, it could be anything.
[22:00] SPEAKER_02: Um, and the dude says, I'm just desperate for an explanation at this point.
[22:04] SPEAKER_02: Uh, you know, I I need something to explain the keys in the missing 47 minutes.
[22:08] SPEAKER_02: Um, I was about to say carbon monoxide poisoning next.
[22:14] SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I was gonna say probably that, but uh what what what about the oil though?
[22:18] SPEAKER_02: Like, you know what I'm saying?
[22:19] SPEAKER_02: Like, why is there oil all over the key?
[22:21] SPEAKER_02: Was was there was there actual oil, or did they say that it just felt like there is oil?
[22:26] SPEAKER_02: No, they said that you could like see the oil like all over the key and in the grooves.
[22:30] SPEAKER_02: Is the oil in the room with us right now?
[22:32] SPEAKER_04: Maybe he likes to loop himself up like a slug.
[22:37] SPEAKER_02: Probably.
[22:38] SPEAKER_02: I think he's.
[22:38] SPEAKER_02: Playing nightcrawlers, if you ask me.
[22:41] SPEAKER_01: What the fuck is nightcrawlers?
[22:43] SPEAKER_02: You know, you get into a fucking sleeping bag and you crawl around like a fucking worm.
[22:47] SPEAKER_02: Anyways, um, so yeah.
[22:50] SPEAKER_04: That's what all the loop is for at the Diddy parties.
[22:53] SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
[22:56] SPEAKER_02: Diddy?
[22:57] SPEAKER_02: Actually, fun, funny.
[22:58] SPEAKER_02: I was fucking Nightcrawlers uh reference from uh It's Always Sunny, but uh I've been watching, re-watching It's Always Sony, and fucking there's an episode with Diddy in it, and I saw it and I was like, oh fuck, oh no.
[23:11] SPEAKER_02: Ooh.
[23:12] SPEAKER_04: Have you seen that clip of the uh clip of the Ellen DeGeneres show where she has like all these sick kids on or something, and she's like oh yeah, she's like Diddy's here!
[23:24] SPEAKER_03: And he like comes out, and all the kids are like, Oh my god, it's Diddy!
[23:27] SPEAKER_06: That's Diddy.
[23:29] SPEAKER_00: And he's like, I got baby oil.
[23:33] SPEAKER_00: He's got the Birdman hands going.
[23:36] SPEAKER_02: Um Matthew.
[23:38] SPEAKER_02: Also, this post was from three days ago, so it's fresh.
[23:42] SPEAKER_02: Yeah, there's maybe maybe updates um that will come from time, but yeah, basically a lot of people are going, you should go to the ER.
[23:54] SPEAKER_00: I feel like if there's carbon monoxide issues going on, then that would explain the missing time.
[23:59] SPEAKER_00: And also, I mean your brain's fucked up, so maybe he's just sticking his key in like a bucket of motor oil or something.
[24:05] SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
[24:06] SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, why won't my door unlock?
[24:09] SPEAKER_00: And he's just dicking in some Crisco or something.
[24:11] SPEAKER_00: Matthew, do you have another one?
[24:15] SPEAKER_04: So I have like a few things that I just kind of stumbled across.
[24:19] SPEAKER_04: So Jason and I I have already talked about our deep into YouTube.
[24:23] SPEAKER_04: So I went on there to see what was going on this month.
[24:25] SPEAKER_04: And one that I thought was fun, if you want to say that, is a video by Enrique Rodriguez on YouTube from a very long time ago, and it's just called Two Girls One Cup Reaction My Mom's, and it's a two girls one cup reaction from a long, long time ago.
[24:46] SPEAKER_04: But the thing is, you can see the whole thing.
[24:50] SPEAKER_07: So if you want to watch an old lady watching two girls one cup on a like a 2000s computer, check out Enrique Rodriguez's content.
[25:03] SPEAKER_07: There's that.
[25:05] SPEAKER_00: I can safely say I've never seen two girls one cup.
[25:09] SPEAKER_00: I know it, I know most of the things that happen in it, but I have not dared.
[25:15] SPEAKER_00: You're fired.
[25:16] SPEAKER_00: You're fired.
[25:16] SPEAKER_00: That's that's fair.
[25:18] SPEAKER_02: Okay.
[25:18] SPEAKER_02: Um I actually made a two girls one cup reference this weekend, and we were with Lissa's mom, and she's like, What?
[25:24] SPEAKER_02: And I was like, Don't worry about it.
[25:28] SPEAKER_02: You don't need to know, you don't have to know anything about that.
[25:33] SPEAKER_04: Uh okay.
[25:34] SPEAKER_04: I have uh an Am I the Asshole that I pulled up real quick.
[25:38] SPEAKER_04: Um, so this one's pretty short.
[25:40] SPEAKER_04: Well, I'll get you guys' opinions on this.
[25:42] SPEAKER_04: Am I the asshole for connecting to the ear pod after my niece swallowed it to see if it would play in her stomach?
[25:49] SPEAKER_04: And it's basically that.
[25:50] SPEAKER_04: When my three-year-old niece swallowed my sister's left airpod, everyone noticed or everyone started worrying right away.
[25:57] SPEAKER_04: I was trying to lighten the situation, so I connected the airpod to my phone and put my ear on to her stomach to check if I could hear it.
[26:03] SPEAKER_04: Surprisingly, I actually could hear a little bit of sound coming from inside her, which made the moment a little bit funny to me.
[26:08] SPEAKER_04: But the people around us didn't find it very amusing.
[26:11] SPEAKER_04: They all looked at me like I was taking I wasn't taking things seriously at all.
[26:14] SPEAKER_04: I was just trying to calm the mood, but instead I ended up being the only one laughing while everyone else was still stressing about the AirPod inside her.
[26:22] SPEAKER_00: No, I wouldn't say he's the asshole because like the damage is kind of already done, and I don't think it was his fault.
[26:29] SPEAKER_00: Like it would be one thing if you fed the kid the AirPods.
[26:31] SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
[26:32] SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
[26:33] SPEAKER_00: It's already in there.
[26:34] SPEAKER_00: You're not doing any harm to the kid by keeping it in there.
[26:37] SPEAKER_00: Now you are gonna want to get that out because there is a lithium battery in that bad boy, but yeah.
[26:41] SPEAKER_04: Yeah, there is a whole thing, like a whole thread between two people who are arguing about the scientific, like the science behind how dangerous swallowing a small lithium battery is.
[26:51] SPEAKER_04: Some people that really think it's not that a very big deal.
[26:54] SPEAKER_04: One person's like, I did it in the 90s and they didn't even bother getting it out.
[26:57] SPEAKER_04: They were just like, you'll poop it out eventually, and I'm alive.
[27:01] SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they said that about a lot of things back in the 90s.
[27:04] SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, you'll poop it out.
[27:05] SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
[27:06] SPEAKER_04: But I think you really miss an opportunity here because what he should have done is opened the notes app and recorded the inside of her stomach, and then later, when she's like a teenager, be like, You want to hear the inside of your stomach from when you were three?
[27:22] SPEAKER_00: Here you go.
[27:23] SPEAKER_00: You want to buy a radio?
[27:24] SPEAKER_04: You want to buy a radio from inside of your stomach?
[27:27] SPEAKER_00: Um crazy work.
[27:29] SPEAKER_00: I I got one little one, it's it's very short because they kind of fucked up uh what they did on it.
[27:35] SPEAKER_00: But uh this is called I've uh this is from R slash Bice uh bicycling um from a user called Your Bathroom.
[27:44] SPEAKER_00: It's pretty good.
[27:46] SPEAKER_00: Um it's called I Have a Bib Problem Slash Puzzle.
[27:51] SPEAKER_00: Um now I'm not going to go too deep into the um the post itself.
[27:57] SPEAKER_00: This is 15 years old at this point, but basically uh they were they the post now is just two edits, edit number 13 and edit number 14.
[28:06] SPEAKER_00: It seems like in the course of making these edits, they also decided to just erase uh the entirety of the post because I cannot find the other comments anywhere else, and he doesn't have any other posts pertaining to this.
[28:21] SPEAKER_00: So it seems like he just kind of fucked up.
[28:23] SPEAKER_00: But either way.
[28:25] SPEAKER_00: Basically what happened is uh this guy was wearing uh is a biker, uh like a bicyclist, and he wears what they call, I guess, a bib, which is kind of like a um um what's the word I'm looking for?
[28:40] SPEAKER_00: Uh kind of like a sing singlet sort of thing.
[28:43] SPEAKER_00: Like you know what like wrestlers wear, like a unitard kind of thing.
[28:46] SPEAKER_00: Um it's sort of like that, but it's a bit more like breathable.
[28:50] SPEAKER_00: Um but he put it through the wash as he would, and he popped it out of the dryer, and the left suspender was insanely twisted.
[29:00] SPEAKER_00: And let me just drop the MGR image that he uh gave us.
[29:09] SPEAKER_00: And basically, the left singlet was twisted in a way that it it can't be.
[29:15] SPEAKER_00: He tried getting it out as many times as he can he could, but he could not get this out.
[29:20] SPEAKER_00: He went to the Reddit and was like, Hey, uh, what's going on here?
[29:25] SPEAKER_00: And this is being called the impossible knot because this should not be able to happen, like physically.
[29:32] SPEAKER_00: There is no way that this happens.
[29:35] SPEAKER_00: Um he lays out this giant list of updates, um, uh like with updated images and everything.
[29:44] SPEAKER_00: Um, he says basically, um, I appreciate all the thoughts and ideas, but nothing has been solved thus far.
[29:49] SPEAKER_00: Um, he goes to r slash math to help.
[29:53] SPEAKER_00: Um he basically he says he basically has a sphere with five holes, and the surface between two of the holes has been twisted uh one full time.
[30:02] SPEAKER_00: And he cannot figure out how to get it untwisted.
[30:05] SPEAKER_00: He even Redditors even one person 3D printed or not 3D printed, they like went into Blender and like built out in three the dimensions the twist and how it physically cannot happen.
[30:19] SPEAKER_00: Um and it got to the point where he uh talked to a not profession a professional, a a person who's like just that they are a professional in not making and whatnot.
[30:34] SPEAKER_00: And this person said that this is an impossible twist, and he does not know how this can exist in real life.
[30:41] SPEAKER_00: Um he says in edit number 13, uh he the the company that made it is called Primal.
[30:48] SPEAKER_00: I just got off the phone with Primal and they're standing by their product and shipped me another pair of bibs.
[30:51] SPEAKER_00: Um so he's getting a new one, which is great.
[30:53] SPEAKER_00: He explained the situation to the company, and they're like, here's a new one on us.
[30:56] SPEAKER_00: Edit number 14, this is where he says, uh got a response from the professor, an expert in knots and not theory.
[31:03] SPEAKER_00: He came to the conclusion the same as Reddit.
[31:05] SPEAKER_00: Basically, the twist was not possible.
[31:08] SPEAKER_00: He didn't ask me to forward all the pictures, though, so he can use them for his lectures.
[31:13] SPEAKER_00: So this guy basically just broke physics essentially with his fucking uh leotard.
[31:22] SPEAKER_00: And uh I love it.
[31:25] SPEAKER_00: I I love how stupid this is.
[31:26] SPEAKER_04: Nobody's ever been able to figure this out at all.
[31:29] SPEAKER_00: No, apparently not.
[31:31] SPEAKER_00: I feel like they just sewed it on wrong.
[31:33] SPEAKER_02: Like they sewed on the wrong.
[31:35] SPEAKER_00: No, it went into the it went in the dryer normal.
[31:38] SPEAKER_00: Like it's a normal wearing one, you said.
[31:40] SPEAKER_00: Like the one that he says the one that he was just sent.
[31:47] SPEAKER_00: He said the one that he was just sent is the exact same one that got knotted up before, and he hasn't been able to replicate this issue.
[31:55] SPEAKER_00: So it's like a one and done type of situation.
[31:59] SPEAKER_00: But as you can see, like the top part of it does loop in and like go into the bottom somehow.
[32:04] SPEAKER_00: Like it's a fucking what's it called?
[32:06] SPEAKER_00: A Morbius strip situation happening here.
[32:10] SPEAKER_00: Morbin time?
[32:11] SPEAKER_00: A Morbin, a Morbius strip.
[32:13] SPEAKER_00: A Morbius strip.
[32:16] SPEAKER_00: What do you guys think of this?
[32:17] SPEAKER_00: You like a little twisty knot theory mystery?
[32:19] SPEAKER_00: I I do.
[32:21] SPEAKER_04: I feel like there's gotta be a physical explanation here, and I want to hear it.
[32:26] SPEAKER_00: Uh, you'll never will, because apparently he talked to a knot professor, and the knot professor said it can't happen.
[32:32] SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's a real thing.
[32:33] SPEAKER_04: This does remind me of, and I'm stupid, so these blow my mind every time.
[32:37] SPEAKER_04: But have you ever seen and there's a name for it that I can't remember, but those videos where somebody takes like a extension cord and unwraps it around a pole without oh yeah, looping it around the pole.
[32:51] SPEAKER_04: That fucking blows my mind every time.
[32:55] SPEAKER_04: Is it you just gotta move it by just shaking it?
[32:58] SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you just gotta move it over your finger this way and then pull out this way, and then look, the knots gone.
[33:02] SPEAKER_00: I'm like, how'd you do that?
[33:04] SPEAKER_04: Yeah, right.
[33:05] SPEAKER_04: Yeah, there's this one I've seen several times that's like an extension cord that's wrapped around the bottom like part of a frame of a desk, and they're like, I'm gonna untie, I'm gonna get this out from being wrapped around this pole, and then they just like do something, and then it pop off, and I'm like, I don't understand.
[33:26] SPEAKER_04: Whoa, whoa, crazy words?
[33:28] SPEAKER_00: I don't understand.
[33:28] SPEAKER_00: Well, we have an impossible knot.
[33:31] SPEAKER_04: Crazy word easy.
[33:33] SPEAKER_02: Uh doogle dougal.
[33:35] SPEAKER_02: Do you guys have another story or I think we'll wrap this one with you unless Matt wants another one?
[33:41] SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
[33:42] SPEAKER_02: Well, I mean, should we just wrap it with this next one?
[33:45] SPEAKER_02: Because I can do I I have two I can do, but if we're wrapping it, I can no, we need some extra time because okay, all right.
[33:52] SPEAKER_02: No worries.
[33:52] SPEAKER_02: This is a this is a shorter one, anyways.
[33:54] SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna read a verbatim.
[33:55] SPEAKER_02: I just wanted to talk about this subreddit in general because I think they're funny.
[33:59] SPEAKER_02: So are you guys familiar with uh like girl dinner?
[34:03] SPEAKER_04: There's a new one called Boy Dinner Diaries, too.
[34:05] SPEAKER_02: But that's that's where this story is from, Boy Dinner Diaries.
[34:09] SPEAKER_02: Um, because I just think it's funny, it's silly.
[34:11] SPEAKER_02: It's uh you know, boys only posting, and every post has to include a meal.
[34:15] SPEAKER_02: But anyways, so yeah, for those of you who don't know, it's just you post a picture of your dinner and you post some tea along with it, and uh usually the stories are you know some personal bullshit that people are going through.
[34:29] SPEAKER_02: I guess I can just uh I can just TLDR this one, but the the the post it says, I accidentally caused the end of my wife's friend's marriage, and I'm quite pleased with myself.
[34:40] SPEAKER_02: And then they posted a picture of a plate of carnitas and green beans.
[34:47] SPEAKER_02: And basically, long story short, boy dinner always makes sense.
[34:50] SPEAKER_00: Girl dinner meals when they post their tea, it's always like a fucking like a half.
[34:58] SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's like a it's like a cigarette and a half a sleeve of Oreos or something.
[35:01] SPEAKER_00: I'm like, y'all need protein.
[35:02] SPEAKER_00: Like, what are you doing?
[35:03] SPEAKER_02: Anyways, so this post is a good example of why I I love the internet because again, title is I caused the end of my wife's friend's marriage, and I'm quite pleased with myself.
[35:14] SPEAKER_02: They're posting a picture about food.
[35:16] SPEAKER_02: The story I will tell DR basically him and his significant other invited this woman over who is married to and has kids with this guy that they both think is a prick.
[35:25] SPEAKER_02: And long story short, um, she came over by herself, they had a very normal, low, like low, like low energy, chill night.
[35:36] SPEAKER_02: All they did was have dinner, but because the the OP couple have kids and the dad was helping take care of them and making dinner and doing this and that and like all this shit, the the friend that came over with the prick husband saw that it was very little effort for this man to just be kind to her or like be kind to his wife and do things for the kids and like you know just be a fucking part of the relationship that uh the lady in the story ends up divorcing her husband over it because she's like this guy's a fucking prick.
[36:08] SPEAKER_02: However, the story is fine and whatever, but the comments on this post are what got me actually because like I said, he posted a pic he posts a picture of Carnitas and green beans, and the comments are just essentially everyone giving him shit for eating greens green beans with his tacos, and I was just like, that's really funny.
[36:32] SPEAKER_02: Um, because boy, that is what the internet is, you know what I'm saying?
[36:35] SPEAKER_02: That is men writing right there story about this, and no one gives a fuck.
[36:40] SPEAKER_02: They're just like, Why are you eating green beans with your fucking tacos, brother?
[36:44] SPEAKER_02: Um, so I just thought it was silly.
[36:46] SPEAKER_02: Like it, I mean, there's some funny posts in there too, but this one got me a little bit because I was just like, Yeah, that's that sounds right for the internet.
[36:54] SPEAKER_00: I I have a relatively similar situation going on uh currently with me, I think.
[37:00] SPEAKER_00: Um not leading to divorce, but I think I'm getting my neighbors.
[37:05] SPEAKER_00: No, I think I'm getting my my neighbor's wife mad at him because like he he works not uh not to go too deep into it, but like he he works construction, so he he works a lot of like overtime and overnights and stuff like that.
[37:20] SPEAKER_00: And uh he's he's not home throughout the day, he comes home at night.
[37:24] SPEAKER_00: And uh she's a stay-at-home mom with the kid, and I work from home, so occasionally we'll hang out with the kids or whatever, and uh he'll uh she'll be like, Oh yeah, like how's work from home?
[37:36] SPEAKER_00: I'm like, it's it's pretty fun, you know.
[37:37] SPEAKER_00: I I I get this done, I do the chores, I get dinner going.
[37:40] SPEAKER_00: She's like, Oh yeah, uh, so and so doesn't do any of that.
[37:43] SPEAKER_00: Like, he just comes home and then goes to bed half the time or just gets drunk.
[37:46] SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I was like, Well, you know, it's maybe he's just stressed.
[37:52] SPEAKER_01: Like, now I'm defending this man, like it's my marriage on the line.
[37:58] SPEAKER_02: You gotta watch out, man.
[37:59] SPEAKER_02: She's gonna snatch you up.
[38:00] SPEAKER_02: She's gonna be like, Come here.
[38:01] SPEAKER_02: No, I'm a lockdown boy.
[38:03] SPEAKER_00: You can't get this.
[38:03] SPEAKER_00: I've already been taken.
[38:05] SPEAKER_01: Girls, uh you can't get this.
[38:07] SPEAKER_01: The prize pig is out of the contest.
[38:09] SPEAKER_01: Don't know what to tell you.
[38:11] SPEAKER_02: The prize pig, that's funny.
[38:15] SPEAKER_00: Um, I have I have one more too.
[38:17] SPEAKER_00: I mean, if we're doing them, I have one more.
[38:19] SPEAKER_00: It man, is yours funny?
[38:20] SPEAKER_00: Because mine's depressing.
[38:22] SPEAKER_00: Mine is funny.
[38:24] SPEAKER_04: Mine's not it's kind of funny, I guess.
[38:28] SPEAKER_04: It's not like haha jokey funny, but it's not like well, the second one is.
[38:35] SPEAKER_00: That that was a dark.
[38:37] SPEAKER_04: Well, the second one is he saw the title and he was like, oh, well, there's two there's two here, and the first one's kind of funny, and the second one I actually was was going to be me leading into a conversation that's not very lighthearted.
[38:51] SPEAKER_00: Well, let me do mine because we're gonna need some raising up after this.
[38:55] SPEAKER_00: Okay?
[38:57] SPEAKER_00: This is from R slash off my chest by a person named Paul Morgan 15 years ago.
[39:02] SPEAKER_00: It says, It's so hard for me to say my daughter is not real.
[39:08] SPEAKER_00: It says the following I wish I had written it down before or just some of it.
[39:12] SPEAKER_00: Now that I must get it off my chest, I feel that it may not come out the way I want it to, but here it goes.
[39:17] SPEAKER_00: My daughter is not real.
[39:19] SPEAKER_00: Started over a year ago when I was going through a rough time, I saw this digital painting of Princess Zelda for the 25th anniversary of the series.
[39:26] SPEAKER_00: I don't know what happened, actually.
[39:28] SPEAKER_00: To be honest, I just stared at the picture for a long time.
[39:30] SPEAKER_00: When there was dinner, I thought about her.
[39:32] SPEAKER_00: When there was homework, I thought about her again.
[39:34] SPEAKER_00: Could not stop thinking about her.
[39:36] SPEAKER_00: Then, when I was lying on my couch, I stretched out my arm and imagined her lying next to me, having a nap and getting all snug.
[39:43] SPEAKER_00: These thoughts continued for about a month.
[39:45] SPEAKER_00: I always imagined her with me.
[39:47] SPEAKER_00: And when I walked to the gym, holding her hand, she called me papa.
[39:51] SPEAKER_00: I had a little daughter.
[39:52] SPEAKER_00: I never lost touch with reality.
[39:54] SPEAKER_00: I'm not schizophrenic, according to my psychologist, whom I started seeing about three weeks ago anyway.
[39:59] SPEAKER_00: Uh that's not the important part.
[40:01] SPEAKER_00: What's important is that I had a daughter.
[40:03] SPEAKER_00: Many times I would smile down at her, give her a kiss, and carry her up when she was tired.
[40:07] SPEAKER_00: I loved her.
[40:08] SPEAKER_00: And even though she's not real, I have never loved anyone so much as her, my daughter.
[40:13] SPEAKER_00: Then the imagination started to fade.
[40:15] SPEAKER_00: It became harder to talk to her, to feel her by my side.
[40:18] SPEAKER_00: I had never been so angry in my life and so depressed.
[40:21] SPEAKER_00: I remember forcing myself for hours trying to imagine her back, but I can only do it briefly.
[40:26] SPEAKER_00: I told her that I would never let her go and that I would never forget her, and I won't.
[40:30] SPEAKER_00: I promised.
[40:31] SPEAKER_00: It's just so hard.
[40:32] SPEAKER_00: I've been trying to write a story, a post-apocalyptic love story between my daughter and me.
[40:37] SPEAKER_00: I'm a real fan of Fallout 3 and uh other post-pocalyptic stuff.
[40:41] SPEAKER_04: He's been trying to write a love story between his daughter and himself.
[40:45] SPEAKER_00: Maybe.
[40:46] SPEAKER_00: I think it's like a last of us type of situation.
[40:49] SPEAKER_00: I told some of my friends about it, but I was drunk and I could only tell them half.
[40:53] SPEAKER_00: Now they think now they're not my friends.
[40:56] SPEAKER_00: Now I think I have a real daughter somewhere and that I'm not allowed to see her.
[40:59] SPEAKER_00: At first, it felt good.
[41:01] SPEAKER_00: It gave her reality and not only to me, but to my friends also.
[41:04] SPEAKER_00: I lied to myself and my friends so I could be happy.
[41:07] SPEAKER_00: I'm so sorry.
[41:07] SPEAKER_00: I have thought about committing suicide, but my promise to my daughter keep uh holds keeps my promise to my daughter holds keeps me from doing it.
[41:18] SPEAKER_00: Um, I won't leave her.
[41:20] SPEAKER_00: Apparently, I won't leave her.
[41:22] SPEAKER_00: I don't know what to do.
[41:23] SPEAKER_00: I just really wish that she was real, only for a short moment.
[41:26] SPEAKER_00: Even though she wasn't real, my emotions for her were I cry sometimes at night and I wake up cold and sweaty.
[41:31] SPEAKER_00: I told my psychologist and wanted to try to raise a little girl in my life.
[41:35] SPEAKER_00: I'm only 18.
[41:36] SPEAKER_00: He said I should absolutely try.
[41:38] SPEAKER_00: So there's what I wanted to get off my chest.
[41:40] SPEAKER_00: Reddit.
[41:40] SPEAKER_00: Please comment what you think and maybe some advice.
[41:42] SPEAKER_00: Don't be harsh.
[41:43] SPEAKER_00: This is really hard for me.
[41:44] unknown: Whatever.
[41:45] SPEAKER_00: Your overall comments are pretty damn positive.
[41:47] SPEAKER_00: I will say everyone's just like, it just you it sounds like you might be going through it, but you're you're probably gonna make a good dad someday.
[41:53] SPEAKER_00: Like everyone's pretty nice to the fella, which is good.
[41:58] SPEAKER_04: Whatever mental illness this is, is whatever leads people to become like emotionally dependent on Chat GPT.
[42:05] SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
[42:06] SPEAKER_06: It also makes me want to go and hug my daughter, but that too.
[42:12] SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I I found that very daughter after the weird no, never mind.
[42:17] SPEAKER_00: Well, because now I I I'm thinking about my daughter and how she's gonna grow up one day and she's not gonna wanna talk to me as much.
[42:23] SPEAKER_00: She's gonna be a free free girl, woman, and whatnot.
[42:27] SPEAKER_01: I don't want my little girl.
[42:28] SPEAKER_04: You ever played The Last of Us?
[42:30] SPEAKER_04: No, yeah, I don't recommend it for you.
[42:33] SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, not for you.
[42:34] SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I don't think that's a good idea.
[42:36] SPEAKER_00: Like, I can't watch a lot of shit like that anymore because I have a daughter.
[42:40] SPEAKER_00: Like, I really want to watch this documentary on like tornadoes and stuff, like four months ago.
[42:45] SPEAKER_00: But uh, it started off like episode one was just like it's very bad tornado in like Peru or something, and it took this this uh two-year-old child away and swept him like four miles away, and they found her in the rubble five days later.
[42:59] SPEAKER_00: I'm like, nah, I'm out, I can't do it.
[43:01] SPEAKER_00: Nope.
[43:01] SPEAKER_04: So this is something Jason was gonna cover tonight, but you know.
[43:05] SPEAKER_04: Um it's a Reddit post from 18 days ago called What's the Worst Smell You've Smelled from a Living Person?
[43:13] SPEAKER_04: The top comment says, I'm a dentist.
[43:15] SPEAKER_04: I had a patient come in for an emergency call and tell me there's a pain coming from my meat tooth.
[43:21] SPEAKER_04: They had broken a large chunk of their tooth off of their lower premolar and used it to quote save some for later.
[43:29] SPEAKER_04: When I took the tooth when I looked, the tooth was densely packed with debris.
[43:33] SPEAKER_04: Two-week old chicken came out of the bottom of the pocket.
[43:36] SPEAKER_04: The smell infected everything around us.
[43:38] SPEAKER_04: I threw up in my mouth, swallowed it, and had to leave the room.
[43:41] SPEAKER_04: It was indescribable.
[43:43] SPEAKER_04: During our training, we go through a gross anatomy lab where we dissect human remains.
[43:47] SPEAKER_04: The smell of burning and decaying flesh doesn't even come close to the smell of the meat toothed chicken.
[43:55] SPEAKER_06: Why would you do this to me?
[43:56] SPEAKER_06: You're supposed to have funny.
[43:59] SPEAKER_00: Uh I mean that's kind of funny.
[44:02] SPEAKER_03: Meat tooth.
[44:03] SPEAKER_03: That's pretty funny.
[44:04] SPEAKER_03: Meat tooth.
[44:05] SPEAKER_03: Nobody does.
[44:06] SPEAKER_03: Nobody gets hurt.
[44:07] SPEAKER_03: By cuspid by meat tooth.
[44:10] SPEAKER_02: Mike's like, I love teeth.
[44:11] SPEAKER_02: I can't I can't hear the story.
[44:16] SPEAKER_04: And then the second one really isn't that interesting.
[44:20] SPEAKER_04: It's just about somebody who had a really smelly girl in their school.
[44:23] SPEAKER_04: But but stinky girl.
[44:26] SPEAKER_00: Edward that's Edward from Twilight.
[44:27] SPEAKER_04: But at the end basically they're talking about how like this girl from five uh age of five to ten would just show up to school not showered and like in the same clothes every day.
[44:38] SPEAKER_04: And people didn't even bully her about it because they all kind of understood that it wasn't really her fault and that nobody was taking care of her.
[44:47] SPEAKER_02: And Oh, so she it's like a fro situation.
[44:51] SPEAKER_02: Right, exactly.
[44:53] SPEAKER_04: So my question was, did you guys have a smelly kid in school?
[45:01] SPEAKER_04: Because I had two of them and we were mean to them.
[45:04] SPEAKER_00: We we weren't mean to them, we just avoided them.
[45:06] SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
[45:07] SPEAKER_00: Because yeah, they fucking stank.
[45:08] SPEAKER_00: And they were like a big ass.
[45:11] SPEAKER_00: They're a huge asshole, like just a mean person.
[45:14] SPEAKER_00: Probably because they're tired of smelling bad smell all day, but like just a jerk.
[45:18] SPEAKER_00: No one talked to them.
[45:19] SPEAKER_04: I I say we, I wasn't really mean to them.
[45:22] SPEAKER_04: I didn't really interact with them.
[45:23] SPEAKER_04: Actually, the the one kid in middle school, he was really, really nice.
[45:27] SPEAKER_04: And I did talk to him a few times because uh it was a funny joke to try to fill up all the lunch tables before you got your lunch out of the lunch line because if you did that, the last person out of the lunch line was then forced to sit next to this kid.
[45:47] SPEAKER_04: That happened to me a few times.
[45:49] SPEAKER_01: Oh no.
[45:50] SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
[45:51] SPEAKER_04: But in those few times, I did talk to him, and he actually was really nice.
[45:56] SPEAKER_04: He was a super nice kid, and I hope he's doing all right now.
[45:59] SPEAKER_00: Hope he showers now.
[46:00] SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
[46:00] SPEAKER_00: I hope he's not smelly.
[46:02] SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
[46:04] SPEAKER_04: Second kid I never talked to.
[46:06] SPEAKER_04: They did start trying to make him take showers at school, which didn't really help because then he would just put his same clothes back on and the clothes smelled like at the you he was so bad.
[46:16] SPEAKER_04: He you would like if you were in that same hallway as him, you could smell him coming.
[46:20] SPEAKER_04: It was bad.
[46:21] SPEAKER_04: It was bad, bad.
[46:23] SPEAKER_03: At what point do the teachers ow?
[46:25] SPEAKER_04: Yep.
[46:26] SPEAKER_04: He had a girlfriend, a a long-term girlfriend who was with him like the entire time that we were in school.
[46:32] SPEAKER_04: And so incels, it's your fault.
[46:41] SPEAKER_04: That that kid held down a relationship with a girl who actually wasn't that bad looking and was also pretty nice.
[46:49] SPEAKER_04: So it's your fault.
[46:50] SPEAKER_00: Also kind of smelly.
[46:51] SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's your fault.
[46:53] SPEAKER_00: That just means he's he my boy fucking huge meat.
[46:59] SPEAKER_04: Could be.
[47:00] SPEAKER_04: Maybe that's why it smelled just the smegma.
[47:02] SPEAKER_04: Like he just couldn't get it off.
[47:06] SPEAKER_02: Maybe that was her thing.
[47:07] SPEAKER_02: She really liked the smegs.
[47:09] SPEAKER_02: All right, we're done.
[47:10] SPEAKER_02: We're done.
[47:10] SPEAKER_02: We're done.
[47:11] SPEAKER_02: Alright, everybody.
[47:12] SPEAKER_00: Thank you for that.
[47:13] SPEAKER_00: Um if you want to reach the show, you can uh reach us at I have one more, you piece of shit.
[47:18] SPEAKER_02: What the hell?
[47:19] SPEAKER_00: All right, get fine, fine, fine.
[47:21] SPEAKER_02: It's the funniest one.
[47:22] SPEAKER_02: The reason I did one more before was because it was fucking short.
[47:26] SPEAKER_02: Oh, I didn't know that.
[47:27] SPEAKER_02: Okay, go for it.
[47:28] SPEAKER_02: All right, this one's pretty good.
[47:30] SPEAKER_06: So I as I do, I searched up best Reddit mysteries.
[47:39] SPEAKER_02: If you know what I'm saying, and I found a thread.
[47:42] SPEAKER_02: I dig, I dug deep for this one.
[47:44] SPEAKER_02: I didn't click anything at the top.
[47:46] SPEAKER_02: I went, I I scrolled for a while.
[47:47] SPEAKER_02: So I found this thread.
[47:48] SPEAKER_02: And while I was reading through the thread, someone said the greatest internet mystery that or the greatest Reddit mystery that's still unsolved was, and their comment was, I wonder how Kevin is doing.
[48:02] SPEAKER_02: And it had like hundreds of replies, and I was like, What the fuck?
[48:06] SPEAKER_02: And nobody was linking to whatever this Kevin situation was until finally someone was like, How are you gonna bring this up and not link out the Kevin post?
[48:16] SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, Okay, let's see what this is about.
[48:19] SPEAKER_02: Is this a reference to it's the funniest thing I've read in a while, actually?
[48:23] SPEAKER_02: It's really not even like it's really not even that like crazy.
[48:27] SPEAKER_02: But so someone by the name of Noah the Red, this was 13 years ago, by the way.
[48:32] SPEAKER_02: Noah the red comments it's not uncommon as a teacher to have students who are a bit behind the curve in certain aspects, but 99.99999% of the time they are keen on something.
[48:43] SPEAKER_02: They might not understand how to identify a noun or what theme is, but they somehow know how to make a mean plate of nachos.
[48:50] SPEAKER_02: You learn pretty pretty quick uh to not judge a fish uh for their tree climbing ability, you know.
[48:56] SPEAKER_02: I thought this was the rule when I was teaching until I met Kevin.
[48:59] SPEAKER_02: Kevin isn't his real name, but it doesn't matter because he can't spell it anyways.
[49:03] SPEAKER_02: Kevin was a student of mine during my last year of teaching.
[49:06] SPEAKER_02: He came to my classroom with very little to show for his academic past.
[49:10] SPEAKER_02: He had moved a few times and thus was missing a lot of typical test scores that we used to try and ballpark their ability.
[49:17] SPEAKER_02: Don't worry, it was a ballpark.
[49:19] SPEAKER_02: We didn't make a major decision until we actually had a chance to talk and work with a student for a bit.
[49:24] SPEAKER_02: I thought that's fine.
[49:25] SPEAKER_02: I'll just do some one-on-one with Kevin, see what's up.
[49:28] SPEAKER_02: One-on-one with Kevin was like conversing with someone who'd forgotten everything in a freak, if not impossible, amnesia accident.
[49:34] SPEAKER_02: There was no evidence that he had any that he had learned anything since or after past the second grade, and now he was in ninth grade.
[49:42] SPEAKER_02: Flabbergasted, I figured we need to get more serious with this.
[49:45] SPEAKER_02: If he's going to be in my class, I needed to know why and how this happened.
[49:49] SPEAKER_02: So I decided to meet with him, his guidance counselor, his parents, and another teacher to see what was really going on.
[49:56] SPEAKER_02: This is where it all became clear.
[49:58] SPEAKER_02: It was by some incredible fluke that his family hadn't been wiped off the face of the earth years ago.
[50:03] SPEAKER_02: Odds are his entire heritage was based on blind luck and some type of sick divine intervention that saves his family every time a threat presents itself.
[50:12] SPEAKER_02: Kevin was the genetic pinnacle of this null achievement.
[50:16] SPEAKER_02: Even my instructional lead, a woman who could find a redeeming trait in a ballrog, failed to see any reason this kid or his family should be alive today.
[50:25] SPEAKER_02: So here's a list of the events that made it abundantly clear that God exists and he's laughing uncontrollably.
[50:31] SPEAKER_02: Kevin frequently forgot when and where class was.
[50:34] SPEAKER_02: On more than one time, or on one wow, on more than one occasion, I had to retrieve him from other classrooms.
[50:41] SPEAKER_02: Kevin ate an entire 24-pack of crayons, puked, and then did it again the next day.
[50:46] SPEAKER_02: This is ninth grade.
[50:48] SPEAKER_02: I have no idea where he got crayons.
[50:51] SPEAKER_02: Kevin's dad wrote tuition checks and mailed them to me, his English teacher.
[50:56] SPEAKER_02: This was a public school.
[50:57] SPEAKER_02: When I gave it back to Kevin, voided, to give to his dad with a brief note explaining that this is a public school.
[51:03] SPEAKER_02: Kevin got in trouble for trying to spend it at the 7-Eleven after school.
[51:08] SPEAKER_02: Kevin was removed from the culinary arts program after learning or after leaving a cutting board on the gas stove and starting a fire twice.
[51:15] SPEAKER_02: Kevin threw his lunch at the school resource officer and tried to run away.
[51:19] SPEAKER_02: He then ran into a door and insisted that it wasn't him.
[51:22] SPEAKER_02: Kevin stole my phone during class.
[51:24] SPEAKER_02: I called it, it rang, and he denied that it was ringing.
[51:27] SPEAKER_02: Not that it wasn't not that it wasn't his and not that he did it.
[51:31] SPEAKER_02: No, he denied that the phone was actually ringing.
[51:34] SPEAKER_02: He tried this three times before the end of the year.
[51:41] SPEAKER_02: Basketball tryouts were that afternoon.
[51:43] SPEAKER_02: Kevin tried out, it didn't go well.
[51:45] SPEAKER_02: Kevin's mom could never remember which school he went to.
[51:49] SPEAKER_02: She missed several meetings multiple times because she drove to other schools, none of which he ever went to.
[51:55] SPEAKER_02: Kevin tased himself in the neck before a football game.
[51:58] SPEAKER_02: Kevin kept a bottle of orange Kool-Aid in his backpack for four months, thinking it would turn into alcohol.
[52:02] SPEAKER_02: He then drank it and then barfed.
[52:05] SPEAKER_02: Kevin said the N-word a lot.
[52:08] SPEAKER_02: Kevin was white.
[52:09] SPEAKER_02: The high school was 84% black.
[52:11] SPEAKER_02: Kevin got beat up a lot.
[52:13] SPEAKER_02: Kevin stole another student's iPhone and then tried to sell it back to them.
[52:17] SPEAKER_02: Kevin didn't understand that his grade was dependent on tests, quizzes, homework, classwork, and participation.
[52:22] SPEAKER_02: Finished the semester with a 3% average.
[52:25] SPEAKER_02: He tried to bribe me with$11.
[52:27] SPEAKER_00: Hell yeah, Kevin.
[52:28] SPEAKER_02: Kevin spit on a girl and said you should get out of those wet clothes.
[52:31] SPEAKER_02: The girl was the Spanish student teacher.
[52:34] SPEAKER_02: Kevin didn't know dogs and cats were different animals.
[52:37] SPEAKER_02: Kevin tried to download porn onto a computer in the library at the circulation desk while he was logged on.
[52:43] SPEAKER_02: Kevin asked a girl to prom.
[52:44] SPEAKER_02: He was in ninth grade, and freshmen don't go to prom by asking her her phone number and then texting her his address.
[52:51] SPEAKER_02: Kevin got gum in his hair constantly.
[52:54] SPEAKER_02: Kevin regularly tried to cheat on assignments by knocking the pile over, grabbing one before I had picked them all up, and then writing his name on it wherever there was room.
[53:02] SPEAKER_02: Kevin had several allergies, but neither of his parents nor he could remember what they were.
[53:07] SPEAKER_02: They were very concerned that the holiday party, uh it's a high school, we don't have those, would have peanuts, and when they finally got a doctor's note, he was allergic to amoxicillin.
[53:17] SPEAKER_02: Kevin and his parents took a trip to Nassau.
[53:19] SPEAKER_02: How the fuck did they even get an airline ticket?
[53:22] SPEAKER_02: And forgot all their luggage at home.
[53:24] SPEAKER_02: I didn't believe him when he told me this until I talked to his mom, who told me first thing I uh first thing when I saw her.
[53:30] SPEAKER_02: Kevin's grandfather apparently died in a chainsaw accident.
[53:34] SPEAKER_02: I can only assume God was looking the other way that day.
[53:38] SPEAKER_02: And that's the story.
[53:39] SPEAKER_02: I thought it was pretty funny.
[53:40] SPEAKER_02: I was reading that and someone was like, I wonder what how I wonder how Kevin is.
[53:43] SPEAKER_02: I was just like, What?
[53:44] SPEAKER_04: Oh now Kevin works at a medium-sized regional paper supplier.
[53:50] SPEAKER_02: Oh, for sure.
[53:52] SPEAKER_02: Absolutely he do.
[53:53] SPEAKER_02: And he burns his foot on his George Foreman grill.
[53:56] SPEAKER_04: He's writing clevins on things.
[53:59] SPEAKER_02: Klevin.
[54:00] SPEAKER_02: One plus a cleven home before eleven.
[54:05] SPEAKER_02: Wow.
[54:05] SPEAKER_02: But yeah, those might be MS3.
[54:09] SPEAKER_02: Apparently.
[54:10] SPEAKER_02: It's Kevin's.
[54:11] SPEAKER_02: Maybe Kevin is out of basic on YouTube.
[54:14] SPEAKER_00: That would make sense.
[54:17] SPEAKER_00: That one actually makes sense.
[54:18] SPEAKER_00: I could see that.
[54:19] SPEAKER_00: Is he still doing stuff?
[54:21] SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
[54:21] SPEAKER_00: He still posts.
[54:24] SPEAKER_00: That's pretty great.
[54:25] SPEAKER_00: All right.
[54:27] SPEAKER_00: Let's wrap it up here, boys.
[54:28] SPEAKER_00: First off, if you want to get in touch with the podcast, you can reach us at lootypod at gmail.com.
[54:34] SPEAKER_00: Sign an email.
[54:35] SPEAKER_00: Yeah, or dial 911.
[54:38] SPEAKER_00: And then make sure you yell, help, help.
[54:40] SPEAKER_00: He's coming for me.
[54:40] SPEAKER_00: Help.
[54:41] SPEAKER_00: And then just hang up.
[54:42] SPEAKER_00: Just scream intensely into the phone when they uh legally gonna tell you that you should not do that.
[54:50] SPEAKER_00: Um this is a joke.
[54:52] SPEAKER_00: Do not do it.
[54:53] SPEAKER_00: Um that's the rule.
[54:56] SPEAKER_00: Uh so don't do that.
[54:58] SPEAKER_00: Uh, but also you know, uh shoot us an email, uh, comment on our shit and let us know what you think, what you like, what uh you want us to cover.
