[0:02] Beisse Miler rahmani Rahi in the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the
[0:12] most merciful, heard a lot low heard. Part Excellence presents lessons from the
[0:30] stories of the prophets by Mufti Ismail even Mursa mank Yusef Ali his Salam.
[0:48] Part three Joseph, Peace be upon him. Part three abarakata Smilah Rahman Rahim
[1:03] alhamd Alamin was salahtu salam or alah ashrafil helmahin nab a Mouhammad alah earli he
[1:11] was happy, he ajamahin we're bad. All praise is due to our loss.
[1:15] Sub Hannah huata Allah. Blessings and salutations upon Muhammed salalah Ali he was
[1:19] seldam. We ask a loss sub Hannah huata Alah, to bless him and
[1:23] to bless the noble and pure family of his, and to bless all his
[1:27] companions, and to bless every single one of us, to bless our offspring
[1:33] those who come up to the day of Kayama. The ala subnahuwat Alah.
[1:36] Keep us steadfast on this dean, beloved brothers and sisters in Islam. We
[1:42] have been going through the life story the most beautiful story in the Quran.
[1:47] As the Quran says as alas sub hannahuata Alah says, this evening in Charlah,
[1:52] we will complete the story. Yusuf Alai is Salam or the prophet Joseph,
[1:56] May peace be upon him. He had had a plan to keep his
[2:00] brother in Egypt where he was and the other brothers. From amongst them,
[2:06] one decided to stay back because he said, we had promised our father that
[2:12] we will bring this other brother back, whose name was Binyamin or Benjamin.
[2:16] And because he is not with us, I am too embarrassed. I cannot
[2:20] face my father. I will not be able to go there. You people
[2:23] go there and talk to him. And when they went to their father,
[2:27] they told their father, you can ask the people we came with. Your
[2:30] son was a thief. He stole and this is what happened. And the
[2:35] father says, a a la mumin alla him a la ta lamun. I
[2:38] know from Allah that which you don't know. He says, my patience is
[2:43] very, very beautiful, and we made mention of this yesterday. Now they
[2:49] had already told him that, look, there is no point in keeping on
[2:52] remembering Yusuf, because he told them go and try and look for you and
[3:00] the brother. Yeah Anihabu fata has saso me oh soufar, while as mirrah
[3:10] in in, I assume your raw in in uncomunk. He told him,
[3:23] Look, my children, I am instructing you to go and try and look
[3:28] for Yusuf and his brother, and don't lose hope in the mercy of a
[3:32] loss sub Hannah hawat Alah. For indeed, the only people who lose hope
[3:38] in the mercy of the Almighty are those who disbelieve. Now a lesson for
[3:44] us in life, we lose hope small things, small matters, lost a
[3:49] job, lost hope, lost a wife, lost hope, someone passes away,
[3:53] lost hope. What is this? Malsub Hannah hawat Alah. Grant us
[3:57] strength in our belief because the Koran says, and this would not have been
[4:02] in the Koran if it was wrong. The Koran says, no one loses
[4:08] hope in the almighties mercy besides the one who disbelieves in him. And why
[4:13] is this? Because Allah says a rahman in Rahim, he is the most
[4:17] forgiving, most merciful. So if Allah is the most merciful, how can
[4:23] me or you lose hope in the mercy of alass of hannahua to Allah.
[4:27] This was something for the brothers of Joseph made peace be upon him yusuf alaihi
[4:31] saaland it was impossible to them. They got rid of him a long time
[4:35] ago. He was gone. But here's the father, still with hope.
[4:41] And years had passed, it is reported. Some historians say twenty five years,
[4:46] some say thirty years, some say forty years. Some take it as
[4:49] far as eighty years having passed. Whatever it is, decades had passed,
[4:56] and here is the man with hope in a loss of hannahwa alah, making
[4:59] to av every day, day in day out without losing hope. How many
[5:02] of us when we make do ar to a loss of hanahwat alah for something,
[5:05] we say, yeah, Rabbi rabiya Allah, grant us, grant us.
[5:10] And after a few days we start losing hope. You know, I
[5:13] don't have this. It's been so many years past, and I'm making to
[5:15] ur to Allah, it's not coming we Allah. He I swear by Allah
[5:19] that dua on its own, together with the hope, is an act of
[5:23] worship that would probably qualify a person free entry into paradise, So don't lose
[5:30] hope, because it is a sign of belief that a loss of Hannah Howat
[5:32] Alah wanted us to make do us. So we are making to our.
[5:35] So here you have a nabe of a loss of Hannah howat Alah making do
[5:40] aur for another nabee who was his son of a loss of Hannah awat Alah,
[5:44] meaning the nabee of a loss of Hannah awat Alah. Use of Alat
[5:46] is salah, tou was sellah. So the children decide, okay, this
[5:51] father of ours, we know that he's just keeping on mentioning the same thing
[5:58] again and again and again, and he is just saying it. They even
[6:00] told him, you know what, you'd better stop uttering all this because you'll
[6:04] die saying this. You know, sometimes when we get irritated, we tell
[6:08] someone why are you repeating this? You'll die saying this, which means when
[6:12] are you ever going to stop saying it? Is it dead that's going to
[6:15] make you stop? So this was roughly the question they asked their own father.
[6:19] But when they needed food again and they found the drought was prolonging,
[6:25] the drought was long, and they didn't have much merchandise to go and pay
[6:30] for it because although it was subsidized and they had their own plan. We
[6:33] don't have the details of what exactly the plan was, but they had to
[6:36] pay something minor and collect the grain and come back. So now they decided.
[6:42] You know, our father, he has now turned blind. Why because
[6:47] of his concern and because of his tears. Too much crime can mess up
[6:51] your eyesight, and at the same time, together with worry and stress,
[6:57] it can also cause deterioration in your eyesights. Malas subanahwa ta Allah protect us
[7:02] from stress, and may alas subnahwa ta Allah protect us from crying for nothing.
[7:09] But we should be crying for the sake of Allah sudhanah Allah. Some
[7:13] people they watch a movie, they start crying, but you read Huran and
[7:17] they don't want to cry. Well, Lahi, you see Anthony Quinn being
[7:21] murdered and the tears in the eyes that man was paid and what you're seeing
[7:27] is ketchup or tomato sauce. It's not blood. And here's the people are
[7:30] crying la hu akbar. And when you tell them a verse of the Koran,
[7:35] it doesn't shake them. May Allah make us from those whom when the
[7:39] Koran is read, oh hey dand I mean that's a sign of iman.
[7:45] When the Koran is recited, the power of it goes straight down your spine
[7:48] and you feel it on your hey. This is a sign of iman.
[7:51] The Kuran says it. And we've mentioned the verse. Let's repeat it in
[7:57] malm mean ala either don or la hujil and color boom what either toni andiam
[8:09] yeah to zada tom ima are on beahm yaw. The true believers are those
[8:20] whom, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts tremble, and when the verses
[8:24] of the Kurana recited, it increases their belief in a loss of Hannah hot
[8:28] alah. Their conviction is increased and they lay their full trust in a loss
[8:33] of Hannah how Allah. In another verse, the losses allaha zala asan al
[8:39] Hadi think it a bam matthanim in hu ju no dun leavina sha or on
[8:50] bahom beautiful description dom mataliino juno doom, color boom, loving can Allah has
[9:03] revealed a beautiful book that has in it verses that are repeated many times.
[9:11] We have in the Poran verses that are repeated many times, a beautiful book
[9:15] with similar verses that the skins of those who purely believe in Allah they tighten
[9:24] up with goose bumps when they hear these verses, and after that the skins
[9:28] loosen up, the hearts softened towards the remembrance of Allah. What a beautiful
[9:35] description of the poran. I'm sure we felt it. Annahuwat Alah accept it
[9:39] from us. So Yusuf alihi Salam sitting in authority in Egypt, and his
[9:46] brothers walk in, and a loss of Hanahuatala says they now spoke to him
[9:50] Phalamdakluli. As they entered, he obviously noticed that their condition is slightly different
[9:58] than now. Somber they are. They are now more humbled and so on.
[10:03] You can notice when a person has prolonged difficulty, they are humbled shanata
[10:09] grant as humbleness without difficulty. We must not wait for difficulty to come in
[10:16] our lives before we land on the ground. No, we should Inshallah be
[10:20] on the ground the proper level humbleness, humility, mantawada alillah. Here Ahulah.
[10:26] We've mentioned the hadith. Whoever humbles themselves for the sake of Allah Allah
[10:31] will raise their ranks subhana Lah, and whoever wants to be proud and arrogant,
[10:37] Allah drops him down onto the ground. So alas is carl yeah ha
[10:45] lazizumasana ah oh you who is in authority? Oh Aziz? He was given
[10:52] a position. It was known as al Aziz. He was the one in
[10:56] authority. He had the say and the clouds in Egypt was given because of
[11:00] his knowledge. From this we also learn they called a man from the prison
[11:05] in order to lead them, because they gave that authority to the one whom
[11:09] it is most deserving, or to the one whom it is most deserving.
[11:16] Upon we learn from this, don't be shy to make as your leader the
[11:22] one who deserves the post and who is able and capable, even if you
[11:26] and he might not be looking eye to eye. This is what happened here
[11:33] with us. No, we will propel into positions of leadership those whom we
[11:37] know they are our friends. If they become leaders, we'll make money out
[11:41] of it. Then we love that leadership. Or if they become powerful,
[11:45] then our agenda is served. Mallah protectors. Remember Rasulu la Saselam speaks about
[11:52] destruction, and he says either with sid al amru Ela ri ahlihi fan Taisha.
[12:01] When authority is given to the one who is inappropriate for that position,
[12:07] then you can wait for the hour, which means Karama is coming. There
[12:11] are two interpretations to this. Anything that is given to a person who doesn't
[12:16] deserve, or who doesn't know, or who is incapable to look after or
[12:22] to be in authority over it is the end of that particular item. It
[12:26] is the end of that committee. It is the end of that country.
[12:30] It is the end of that company, It is the end of that business,
[12:33] it is the end of that family. When you put at the top
[12:35] someone who doesn't know anything about it, it's over. That is one of
[12:39] the meanings of the Hadid, which is an authentic narration of Rasulu la allah
[12:41] Ahasulam, and he warns us. Secondly, when you notice on the globe
[12:46] that all goes in authority are people who know nothing about that particular field,
[12:52] you must know Kayama is also very close. The world is going to come
[12:54] to an end. So you have a person leading the most powerful country in
[12:58] the world reading a book upside down, you know there's a problem. Malasub
[13:03] hanahawat Alah Safeguardess really Malasu hanahawat Alah, open our doors and grant us a
[13:09] deep understanding, because if that is happening everywhere across the globe, then really
[13:13] we have a crisis. People who don't know how to solve a problem are
[13:18] made our betrators in order to solve people's problems. What is that? So
[13:22] this is one very important point we learned from the story of Yusuf Adai Salam.
[13:26] They did not have pride in them. That's why they succeeded. If
[13:30] that king was too proud, he would have said, no, that man's
[13:33] an inmate. How can we bring him in here and give him authority even
[13:35] over us? They told him, do as you want. Yesterday I was
[13:39] speaking to one brother from Syria who is sitting in our midst and he says,
[13:43] my father, he farms olives. And he says, you know,
[13:48] every time he used to. This is a true story, the brother told
[13:50] me yesterday. Here he says, every time we harvested the olives and we
[13:54] wanted to squeeze them and so on. The shelf life or the life of
[13:58] that olive was very short. In a short time, it would become unusable.
[14:05] So my father decided to follow Sura Yusuf where Yusuf valet is Salam told
[14:11] this king that that corn, meaning the wheat, leave it on its corn,
[14:16] don't take it out, save it whilst it's on its corn, and
[14:20] you will be able to use it seven years later. So he says,
[14:22] what we decided to do, leave the olives with the branch and the leaves,
[14:26] and then we found its shelf life was increased amazingly. Now the same
[14:31] applies to lichies in our part of the globe. The same applies mashallah to
[14:35] maize. They leave it covered, everything closed, exactly as it grew.
[14:41] The shelf life is longer automatic, natural nature. From Allah who inspired use
[14:46] of aalet Salam to say this? It was Allah, Well, lie when
[14:50] I heard it. The brother was talking to me there, and I said,
[14:52] in Challah, I will have to say this because it's important and it
[14:56] is true. We know it in our lives as well, but it's in
[14:58] the Koran. We take it for an't it. It's a lesson we learn
[15:01] now. Yusuf adahi Salam. He hears them saying, oh, as ease,
[15:07] we have been afflicted. Our family has been afflicted by some harm.
[15:15] We have been harmed. Meaning we are in a situation that is very difficult.
[15:20] Baby a team USA and we have come with merchandise to pay for our
[15:28] grain. But our merchandise is not even grand. It might not even be
[15:31] enough, and it won't be of the proper quality. So firstly, we
[15:35] are suffering. We are going through a lot of turmoil in our family.
[15:37] There's a lot of problem. There is difficulty for our feel and ala alaina.
[15:46] So grant us our ration and just be charitable, give us a sadakakabar
[15:52] alain. Grant us charity. Be charitable, charitable in the sense that one
[15:58] brother of ours, you got him with you, please send him with us.
[16:02] And another thing is overlook the fact that our merchandise is not that grand.
[16:04] Please still give us this grain and let us take it and go with
[16:07] Now this is a blood brother. He couldn't take it more than that.
[16:11] Now he's the blood brother. He needs to know because obviously you see that
[16:17] he feels. My brothers are now asking me and they are telling me that
[16:21] we have a problem back at home and this is the situation. He looks
[16:25] at them and he says, karla hala alim to mafaal to be Usuf is
[16:33] Tumjahino. He says, I want to ask you one question. Do you
[16:37] know what you did to Yusuf and his brother? Whilst you people were ignorant,
[16:41] They were shocked. Why nobody knows about Yusuf, No one, It's
[16:47] either them or Yusuf himself. When he said that, they immediately knew this
[16:52] man is Yusuf Carlo innakala alta Yosuf. Are you Yusuf allah an aosuf ai
[17:03] god man Allah? While in in my attack, WHI else bill for in
[17:15] Allah Allah? Are you doing a jo almini? He says, I am
[17:22] yoursuf, and this is my brother. Indeed, Allah has blessed us in
[17:27] so many ways, and definitely those who bear patience, those who are conscious
[17:33] of Allah and bear patience, Allah will never waste the reward of those who
[17:40] do good deeds. So he immediately spoke to them. He says, look,
[17:45] yes, you are right, I am Yusuf. This is my brother.
[17:51] He didn't now try and speak to them arrogantly. He just told them,
[17:56] look, I want to tell you something. Allah always rewards those who
[18:00] have two qualities in them, the quality of takua and the quality of sabal.
[18:06] You need to have both those qualities. Allah will not waste your deeds.
[18:08] Alasuhnahwat Alah says, Maya Taki whyls bid. You need takua, you
[18:15] need the consciousness of a lasub Hannah hawat Alah, and you need the suburb
[18:18] You need patience, you need perseverance. It's important for us all to know
[18:23] that success does not come without consciousness of Allah, and success will not come
[18:29] without patience. I want to pause here for a moment and tell you something.
[18:34] The Sura was revealed in makatul Mukarama when alasub Hannah hawat Alah chose a
[18:41] moment and the time to reveal the Surah. The prophets all Allahu Alesalam had
[18:45] just lost his wife, the most beloved to him, Kadija Tabinti Hueli d
[18:49] Rady Allahu Anha, this great woman Kadijah Raddi Allahu Anha. He had just
[18:56] lost her. And then he loses his uncle Abu Talib, who had been
[19:00] a pillar of support. And then he goes to Taif and he is beaten
[19:03] up in Taif and he comes out of tha If meaning they blasphemed him,
[19:10] or should I say they really disrespected him In Thai if in the greatest way
[19:15] possible physically, they tried to harm him, and they tried to Alasu anahwa
[19:19] tala protect us all. And as he comes back, Alas says, we
[19:26] are going to reveal to you the most beautiful of stories. Here is the
[19:29] story. So the story of Yusuf Alai is Salam was revealed in what is
[19:33] known as amul Husen, the year of sadness, that is the same year
[19:36] that the prophets all Allahu Alahu was Selam was taken up to what is known
[19:38] as mihaj also a gift from Alasu ana Awatalah. And Alas says, here
[19:45] you bear patience, oh Muhammad Salallah Ali is Slam. Look how long this
[19:49] man suffered Yusuf alai Islam. Look what he went through. And Alas says
[19:56] He also says, if you have takua and sober, Allah will not to
[20:00] waste the reward of those who do good. Layu do by our means to
[20:04] waste to go in vain. Allah says no, if you have takua and
[20:08] sabber, your reward will come. But just be patient. Lahu Akaba and
[20:14] Mohammed sarala A Salam was so happy. The story brought a lot of comfort
[20:18] to his heart. Sala lah alai so yusuf a Salah was salam. Immediately
[20:25] he paused, These people uttered words kanu tlahi lakad sarah kalami in in kunalahati
[20:37] in. They said, Walahi, we swear by Allah, Allah has elevated
[20:44] you above us. We were definitely wrong in what we did. Now look
[20:48] at how they had planned his downfall. They wanted to kill him. They
[20:52] threw him in the well. And what Allah did as a result, he
[20:56] raised those pole if he raised this man so oh Hi above these people,
[21:02] that they food depended on him after a loss of anahatta, they had to
[21:06] come begging with a bowl like this to say we need food. Tasadaka alina,
[21:10] give us a charity here. Look, so this is why I never
[21:14] planned the downfall of someone. There is a chance that through that planning they
[21:18] will get a lot of success. Look at Mohammad saraalaha Allah. He was
[21:21] seldom They planned his downfall in Mecca. They literally threw him out of Makanaugabilah.
[21:29] And what did that result? In the great migration the Hidra. The
[21:33] doors were opened to another territory of Madina Munawara, and Islam grew from Medina
[21:38] far greater than these people of Macca ever dreamt of. Until one day he
[21:44] came back to Mecca victorious. And I'm going to mention that in a few
[21:47] moments here Yusuf Adai Islam tells his brothers immediately he didn't wait for more words
[21:52] of praise, and he didn't start patting himself and saying, right, you
[21:56] see now, I'm going to punish you. You see this. No,
[21:57] there was no word, no time for that, no negative word. He
[22:03] immediately says, lad atiba alain kum on yam yaofilak whuhamon Rahimi, no blame
[22:14] upon you today. I don't want to know anything. It's all over,
[22:18] forgiven and forgotten. Let's talk about something else, Lahu Akbar. And he
[22:25] started talking of the shit. He says, I'm really I'm taking out my
[22:27] shirt because I've heard what happened to our father. He's lost his sight.
[22:32] Take this to him, and isha Allah, when you cast it over him,
[22:36] his eyesight will return by the will of Allah. So Hannah hawata Anna.
[22:41] Now Muhammad saraalahu Adah. He was Alam when he came back to Mecca
[22:45] victorious, exactly the same way he didn't come, you know, standing and
[22:49] beating drums and telling people I'm winning and so on, and raising his hands.
[22:53] Nothing. He was down on his camel. His head was so down.
[22:57] He was in sujud He was in to Judo subhana lah. His head
[23:02] was right down. It was almost touching the back of the camel. S
[23:07] La lah alai. He was seldom and he entered thanking Allah sudhanah alaiy Allah,
[23:11] You've granted me victory over these people who have prepared armies to come and
[23:15] fight me, who have tried to kill me, who have killed so many
[23:18] of my companions, my relatives, my cousins, my uncles, so many
[23:22] of them have been murdered, mass murdered by these people. Ya Allah,
[23:25] Today you are giving me victory. He looks at Korajh Yeah, Mashara Korash,
[23:29] mother Taruna and nefa Ailumbkul or people of Korash. What do you think
[23:33] I'm going to do to you today? They were at his mercy, really,
[23:40] because he had one hundred thousand he was. He came in with a
[23:42] large army. There was no ways they were going to face him after so
[23:45] many years, similar to what happened to us off Alai Salam. So they
[23:51] looked at him and their leaders told him, we hope that it is something
[23:56] good, because you are Ahun Karim wabunu ahink In. You are an honorable
[24:00] brother, the son of a noble man, an honorable brother. He says,
[24:07] I am not going to tell you anything besides what Joseph told his brothers.
[24:11] What use of Alai Salam told his brothers La tati by alai Kumuliam,
[24:18] no blame upon you today I habu and tumutu lakal go. All of you
[24:22] are free. So La lah Ali he was seldam. He sought no retribution.
[24:27] S La lahu Ali, he was slam. There were a few criminals
[24:30] who were dug out. The rest of them were let loose, nothing to
[24:34] be mentioned. So many of them accepted Islam on the occasion of that fatah
[24:40] and that victory because they were witnessing in the bee of Allah. Sala lah
[24:44] ALIHI was slam Allah suhana Alah Granta's lesson. This lesson we also find it
[24:48] in Surah Yusuf. He tells his brothers no blame on you. Today,
[24:53] Allah will forgive you, for indeed He is most forgiving, most merciful.
[25:00] You see for a unco tivas what to nei be alikum agine mine, take
[25:11] my shirt, Go and place it on your father, Cast it over him
[25:15] in shah lah. His eyesight will become clear once again. And bring the
[25:19] whole family and come here. They were suffering. There they expressed their sadness
[25:26] and their condition. And here he is saying, bring them all and come
[25:29] and live in Egypt. Come so a loss of Hannah, howat Alya say,
[25:33] is now we take him the scene back there where yakub ad is Salam
[25:37] was the father. He couldn't see. He had lost his sight. Whether
[25:41] it was a cataract or what have you. Only Allah knows best exactly what
[25:44] it was. But what we do know somehow the sweat of use of alaih
[25:48] his sadah to a Salam, it had resulted in the cure of these eyes
[25:52] by the will of a loss of Hannah. Howat Ala for your information today,
[25:55] as we're speaking, there are studies in the Western world as to how
[26:00] some of that which is found in the sweat of a human being can be
[26:07] used to cure the cataract Subhanaa. And these are studies that are at a
[26:15] very advanced stage. You can actually check it out. The world is now
[26:18] just a little global village and you can see what we're talking about. It's
[26:22] amazing, it's amazing. We spoke about all of us moments ago from Soda
[26:26] Yusuf. Now we're speaking about these eye drops and something to do with the
[26:29] eyes. Suba Ala Grant is understanding. So alas is oulama fasoli cola boom
[26:41] in elajiduri a yosufa la la ollafiedo carutalai in a cola fi Balaliclucardi him.
[27:00] On one hand, the caravan is leaving Egypt, going towards Yakub Balai his
[27:04] salam with the shirt, and on the other hand, yakubala is salam so
[27:10] many hundreds of kilometers away, is saying, oh my people, I know
[27:14] I can't see, but I can definitely smell Yusuf. I can smell him.
[27:18] I can smell him. He is coming near and the people around him
[27:22] are saying, no, man, you are fildala kadim. You just have
[27:26] this obsession and what you've been saying all along for all these years, you're
[27:30] just repeating it, and it's probably something that you're going to now need to
[27:34] forget because this is out of a question. And suddenly the caravan appears love
[27:41] Akaba Palam alashiro Ala fed dabas adam a coulacum in lam in allah him alaalamo
[28:00] on Akaba. When the caravan came, they took the shirt and they cast
[28:06] it over him, and his eyes became clear once again, and the story
[28:11] was manifest open loud for everybody to read. He says, Oh, my
[28:15] children, oh my people, didn't I tell you I know something from Allah
[28:19] that you people do not know. Now the children are embarrassed because they need
[28:26] to face their father years of what they did for your information. Had they
[28:30] not done what they they did, where would you sub Ali Slam have been
[28:37] alas Ubhanahuatla's plan was such alas as they planned and we had a plan.
[28:42] And look at the end of that plan. In another place in the Koran
[28:47] alass Wama kaum Karamama Karnam Karamla shown found Kayakana kibant my kiddy him in another
[29:02] place in the Quran regarding another Nabi. But we want to use that example
[29:06] here. Allas says they planned and alas subhanahuata Allah planned without them even feeling
[29:14] what the plan of Allah was. So now look at the outcome of their
[29:18] plan. It resulted in their own destruction. Akaba. When people plot against
[29:25] you or against me, don't worry when we should be worried when we plot
[29:30] against somebody else. This is when we should be worried. Why we should
[29:34] not engage in that type of behavior and that type of activity continue. We
[29:38] are always taught when you see a crooked line, don't waste your time trying
[29:41] to straighten it. Draw a straight line next to it, and walk away.
[29:45] Those who are passing by will say that's a crooked line. This is
[29:48] a straight line, and they will also benefit from it. But if you're
[29:51] going to fight your whole life trying to plan and plot and do this and
[29:53] do that, people will look at you and they think you're also part of
[29:56] the crooked line. Now alas sunnahuata Alakranto's goodness and safety. So alasu hanahwat
[30:03] Ala says, these young men who were the sons of Yakuballeh Salam yeah Abana
[30:12] in Kunakati in oh our father seek forgiveness for our sin. We are definitely
[30:19] wrong. We were totally wrong. At least they're admitting the sin. Now
[30:25] alas Hannah Allah grant us the ability to admit our sins and to repent to
[30:30] Allah before it is too late. We need to turn to alasu Hannah Hawatana.
[30:34] This evening again powerful verses. We have read in the Quran so many
[30:38] that it is impossible for us to talk about all of them in a few
[30:41] minutes. But in a nutshell, it is important for us to turn to
[30:47] Allah alasis. The verses we read this evening in the Taruha alas is kulla
[30:53] kumun pharah in far to min ALMAUTI will katon way the land to matterna in
[31:03] Kranila Ohhammad sal lah al Seldam. Tell them that it will not benefit you
[31:11] at all if you think you are going to run away from death or from
[31:14] being killed or dying in the way Allah wants. And if you think you
[31:18] have missed death, you should know that you still don't have to die.
[31:22] Many of us are saved from a car crash. We come out unscathed,
[31:26] and sometimes we were sick and ill. The doctors gave us two hours twenty
[31:30] hours and what happened. It's now twenty years. We're still alive. It
[31:33] has happened many people. But death has to still come to you no matter
[31:37] what. This is what Alla is saying in the Qur'an that if you think
[31:41] you ran away from death, don't worry. It is still behind you.
[31:44] It has to come al MoU to babunkulu na si da Riloh. Death is
[31:48] a door that every single person has to enter. There's no ways that you
[31:52] can run away from it. So prepare for that day. Well, Hi.
[31:55] A winner is the one who abstains from sin. A winner is the
[31:57] one who constantly sacrifices for Allah. We spoke about Takua and suburb and we
[32:02] said that is what will result in the success of a human being. Ala
[32:07] Granta's success. So Yakuba Salam tells his sons calas Ola Kumra be in Allah
[32:17] Rahim. He says, I will ask Allah to forgive you because he is
[32:23] most forgiving, most merciful. Now the wedding here is very powerful. They
[32:29] didn't say, Oh Father, forgive us, Oh Father, seek Allah's forgiveness
[32:36] for us, Oh Father, seek Allah's forgiveness for us. We were wrong.
[32:40] The father is Annabe. He says, I will seek the forgiveness of
[32:44] Allah for you, because he is the owner of forgiveness. Suhannah Ala,
[32:49] grant us forgiveness. Now the beauty lahu akbar. They all left and everyone
[32:55] was excited, and they started the caravan set out and they're now going to
[32:59] eat and a loss of Hannah. Howat Ala is describing yusuf aalet Sadam preparing
[33:04] to now meet them. And as they're entering Palam mad a dayo sofa ah
[33:10] Elia callad mislai shah along a meani what of lash so jada look at the
[33:28] scene alas is the parents came in, the brothers came in. They all
[33:32] walked in. Yusuvalet Islam was so happy to see his parents, masha law
[33:37] and you can imagine the emotions and a loss of Hannah. Howatla says,
[33:43] they raised him upon a throne and he they had prostrated down prostrated and he
[33:50] looks and he sees father, mother and eleven brothers and he says, yeah,
[33:58] abati ha that o we no yaya mean comble de ja'lah and be hal
[34:06] call oh my father. This is the meaning of that dream that I had
[34:09] had a long long time ago. Allah made it come true. I see
[34:14] the sun, the moon, and eleven stars. Today, my mother,
[34:16] my father, and here the eleven brothers. Now it is prohibited for us
[34:22] to put our head on the ground for anyone besides Allah in our Shariah,
[34:24] in the law that has come with Muhammed Salahu alaih was Alam, your head
[34:29] goes on the ground solely for your maker, nobody else, whoever made you,
[34:32] whoever you're going to return to, that is the one and only.
[34:37] But in that Shariah, in order to acknowledge the level and the status of
[34:40] a person, out of respect, they bowed down and they engaged in sujud.
[34:46] Obviously with us, it's not allowed because people might ask how come they
[34:50] did sujud? So we need to clarify that. So Allah suhnahuata ala,
[34:53] then says Yusuvaleh is Salam. He was one of the most powerful men you
[34:59] could have. He had the control over the Egyptian Empire, the Kingdom of
[35:02] Egypt. Powerful. It was one of the biggest and the most powerful of
[35:07] the time. And he had so much wealth. He was the one giving
[35:12] to everybody, and he had lots of good looks smash Allah. He was
[35:15] the most beautiful human being you could have, so handsome, given from alaso
[35:21] hannah Awa to Alah. He had wealth, he had authority, he had
[35:23] everything you could think of. He had his parents now were here. He
[35:28] had his brothers. They solved the problem in a minute. How did they
[35:31] solve the problem? I need to pause there for a moment by one man
[35:36] who was right for giving those who were wrong totally, and he says,
[35:39] listen, don't bring it up again. It's over. Forgive and forgotten.
[35:43] That's how you solve your problems in your houses. That's how you solve your
[35:46] problems with your brothers and sisters. That's how you solve your problems with your
[35:50] in laws and outlaws. Yes, you know they always use the term in
[35:55] law because I think that's where the lawyers come in Allas of Hannahua to Allah
[35:59] grant a savior. I don't know why we look at people with skepticism.
[36:04] There is no need to do that, not at all. You need to
[36:06] have a clear heart. Life is too short to make our heart murky and
[36:09] dirty. Open it. Forgive. When you forgive, you are liberated.
[36:15] Liberation meaning you feel free, you feel let loose machi Allah. But if
[36:19] you don't forgive, you hold baggage, and it holds more, and it
[36:22] ties you with chains, and you feel so down, and you at night,
[36:27] you are feeling so stressed. Why your heart has not forgiven? This
[36:30] is what you learned from the story of Yusuf aaleh Isalam. If he wanted,
[36:34] he could have executed them, because he was in authority and they wanted
[36:38] to kill him. They could have gone for whatever you'd like to call it
[36:43] in terms of crime. He could have executed them all. But no,
[36:47] he just looked at them and said, no problem, no blame upon you
[36:52] today, don't worry a lie's most forgiving, most merciful. That's the last
[36:55] and the first thing he ever said about it. He never spoke about it
[36:59] again. And he lived with them so well. He gave them dwellings in
[37:04] Egypt. He let them do as they please. He made them people who
[37:07] were looked up to now in society and community. He never went around telling
[37:10] the whole world that, you know, these are my brothers. This is
[37:13] what they did. You go back to the next man. You see these
[37:15] brothers of mine, the crooks. You go back to the next man.
[37:17] You see these brothers of mine. They wanted to kill me. You go
[37:20] to the next one. You see these brothers of mine? Why spread stories
[37:22] all over? That is our weakness, the weakness of man. Let us
[37:27] learn a lesson from the story. No point in going to complain about your
[37:30] own brethren to everybody else, not at all. We need to learn a
[37:32] lesson. Allah Subanah howat Alah. Grant has a good lesson. So here
[37:37] you have a powerful man. He's holding absolutely everything, and he says to
[37:43] his to his father, he's making mention of the gifts of Allah Subanah howat
[37:46] Alah. He says, this is the meaning of my dream. Number one.
[37:50] Number two. He continues and he says, well, are the ahsanabi
[37:54] is a Trajani mean a siegin? And Allah has really done me a favor
[38:00] by removing me from the jail. Stop and think about what he's saying.
[38:06] He says, Allah has bestowed a favor upon me by removing me from jail.
[38:09] He didn't say, Allah punish me by letting me go into the jail.
[38:14] Although he went in wrongly, he was jailed. He looked at the
[38:17] positives and he says, Allah blessed me by taking me out of that negativity
[38:22] a love akhabar. How many of us are prepared to look at the positives
[38:25] in our lives and ignore the negatives. It will really enhance us emotionally,
[38:30] mentally, physically, spiritually. Look at the positives in life. Stop harping
[38:37] about the negatives in your life. You are being blinded by two negatives from
[38:43] another one hundred positives in your life. Why there are so many points of
[38:46] goodness in your life that really we all sometimes take for granted. May Allah
[38:51] open our eyes. May he grant us the ability to be thankful like Yusu
[38:54] Ali Sarama. And then he continues and he says again, look at the
[38:59] power of his words. He says, w jaabikomminan badu. And Allah has
[39:07] really blessed me by bringing you people from those rural areas and bringing them here
[39:14] from the desert you came in. Allah bless me. He didn't say Allah
[39:16] punished me by separating me for so many years from you. He didn't say
[39:21] that. Look again, how positive his thinking is. Then he says,
[39:24] mean badi and azara chipan baini bahina equity. This all happened after Shaitan caused
[39:35] a difference between myself and my brothers. Remember we spoke a few days ago
[39:38] about one young boy from amongst us who said that sometimes we can just blame
[39:44] Cha'than for our problems and solve our matter, which means, if I got
[39:46] a problem with you, you can say, look it was Shathan, and
[39:49] I can say look it was Shathan, and the two of us come together.
[39:52] At least we got Chathan to blame. Yusuvala Sada'm blamed Schathan. He
[39:55] says, look, my brothers are good, Shathan is bad. Chathan is
[39:59] the one who was this problem. It is solved. We've taken Chipan out
[40:02] of the equation. So now the two of us are united. Whenever you
[40:07] have disunity, you need to know Chaithan is playing the quicker. You identify
[40:10] Chithan and remove him, and eradicate him, and take out your pride and
[40:15] come back down to the earth. Then the problem will be solved. Alasupnahwata
[40:19] Allah grant a solution to our Madison problems. In Rabi Latiful Maya Shah,
[40:24] the power of the Quran, the power of the words of these prophets of
[40:29] alas Supnah hawata Alah. And after that he makes it to up. Sitting
[40:32] right at the top, he says, rob b oh my rub, oh
[40:37] my rub, God monkey ALAMII had it falsamaiti, Well, oh my rub.
[40:51] You have granted me so much in terms of authority and kingdom. You
[40:54] have given me so much, all this power that I have, all this
[40:59] kingdom that I have, all this authority that I have, and over and
[41:01] above that, you gave me knowledge of certain items that other people do not
[41:06] have the knowledge of. One of that was he had the knowledge of the
[41:09] interpretation of dreams. Someone seen a dream, they could go to him and
[41:14] tell him, we've seen this dream. He was able to tell you exactly
[41:16] what the meaning of the dream was. Look at this surah, beautifully,
[41:20] it starts with a dream. The prison is so a dream. The king
[41:24] saw a dream, and when the prisoners saw if it was interpreted, when
[41:29] the king saw if it was interpreted, and the main dream which started the
[41:32] surah, ends the surah with an interpretation physically of that particular dream. It's
[41:38] all about dreams. Now he makes it die, He says, alamton him
[41:43] lahadif. Then he says fa thera samawatim oh Allah, you are the one
[41:49] who created the skies in the earth. I might have clout, I might
[41:52] have authority, I might have power, I might have wealth, I might
[41:55] have good looks, I might have good health. All this means nothing when
[41:59] it comes to your own power and might. You are the giver, youah
[42:02] Allah, You are the one who gives. You are in supreme control.
[42:07] You made everything in the first place, us and our surroundings. Everything has
[42:12] been made by you, your Allah. This was a statement of Usu alai
[42:15] Islam. Then he says uh tauali ye lah Akama. You are my wali.
[42:22] You are my protector. The word wali it means a protector. You
[42:28] are the only one who protects me. You are my guardian. I will
[42:31] not seek protection from anyone, but you are Allah. So I am asking
[42:37] you something. You're Allah. I want a favor from you. You are
[42:39] Allah, tawafani muslima al hakoni Bisali. I want two things from you.
[42:46] You are Allah. I want you to cause my death in the state of
[42:50] submission to you. I want to be a slave of yours. I want
[42:54] to be submitted to you, your Allah. And I want you to join
[42:59] me with the pious whom you have chosen and selected lahu akabar, what a
[43:06] powerful do are We should also be making the same to add yea. Allah,
[43:08] You've given us clothing, You've given us food, You've given us goodness,
[43:12] You've given us so much. You've given us all the positives. We
[43:15] have so much from Allah. Tawafana Muslim, and all heckona is salahei Muslimina
[43:20] we all heckona is salahim oh Allah grant us death in a condition that we
[43:23] are Muslim Muslim meaning what is the meaning of Muslim? A one who surrenders
[43:29] to Allah. The one who surrenders to Allah grant us death in that condition.
[43:34] He knew that all this is not going to last. All this I
[43:37] have here, I need Allah more than anything else. I need to start
[43:39] preparing for my death. But he was more powerful than any one of us.
[43:44] He had much more in any way than every single one of us put
[43:49] together. Loah akabar, use of valetsanam. And he's still preparing for his
[43:52] death. He says, Allah, who akabar ya Allah, I want you
[43:55] to grant me goodness. And this is when Alasu hannah Ala says to Muhammed
[44:02] sah Mohammed, seldom we have favored you that he came in like, these
[44:13] are the stories of the unseen, which you haven't seen. We have revealed
[44:15] them to you. Mac Neither you knew any of these stories, nor any
[44:28] one of your people knew these stories before we revealed it to you. So
[44:34] the lesson Alas says fuss b lo akabar so bad patience. Alas Hannah Ala
[44:43] is telling Mohammad, tell them to bad patience. This is in another place
[44:46] in the Koran where alas hanah Howat Alas says, first bird, so bad
[44:51] patience. The lesson The moral of the story be patients, don't worry.
[44:55] Goodness comes to those who wait for it. Those who are stead first don't
[45:00] lose hope in the mercy of Allah. And in this particular, Sura Alas
[45:04] is wama cotaladaihim ajma am rahum wahumam ko. You were not there when those
[45:14] brothers were planning their plot against Yusuf Alahi Salam. You were not there when
[45:19] they were doing all that, But we told it to you, as though
[45:22] now it feels like you were there. All of us who sat and heard
[45:27] the story, couldn't we picture it in our minds? That is the gift
[45:30] of Allah. So hannahawa to Alah and Alas is still wama akara stadim,
[45:38] meaning, no matter how hard you try, the majority of people won't believe.
[45:44] May Allah make us the exception. May He make us those who believe.
[45:46] May He make us those who learn a lesson. May He make us
[45:50] those who constantly learn from the Puran. There are so many lessons we've derived
[45:53] from Soura Yosuf. There are still more lessons, but in Sharlah we will
[45:57] leave that for another occasion tomorrow. In Charloah, we have an appointment by
[46:00] the will of a Las Supannah. Howate Alah, Yeah, with the life
[46:02] of a U ballet Saddam and you know sah to Saddam alas Supana, howate
[46:07] Ala keep us to Then was slaa who is selling them? Abarak and Hammed
[46:10] Subanola Hamdi subhanic A Lahomo hamdickland stuff
