[0:00] Kiss Miler rahmani Rahim in the name of Allah, the most gracious, the
[0:12] most merciful hed lo par excellence presents listens from the stories of the prophets by
[0:37] Mufti is my even Musa Manka and his Salam Jesus Peace be upon him.
[0:54] Brakato mean was salahtuas Salam or ala Mabrahmed and lila alah min Nabi in a
[1:03] Muhammad in Alah Ali, he asked Habi he tabi in a Aaman tabi Ahambi
[1:07] san in ilayomidhin you abad all praise is due to a loss of Hannahua to
[1:11] Alah. Blessings and salutations upon Muhammad Salaalahu Ali. He was seldam, we
[1:17] ask a loss of Hannahua to Alah to bless his wives, to bless his
[1:19] family members, to bless all his companions, to bless every single one of
[1:23] us, and to grant us all every form of goodness. This evening in
[1:27] shahlah I will commence by thanking a loss of Hannahua to Alah for giving us
[1:32] this opportunity, for using us to spread the word, for using us to
[1:38] engage in acts of worship during the month of Ramadan. May Allah accept it
[1:41] from every one of us. May Alasu hanahwat Alah accept the first thing we've
[1:46] engaged in the taraweh we've engaged in the charities we may have given, and
[1:49] all the good deeds we have engaged in the month of Ramadan. May Alasu
[1:53] hannahwa to Alah forgive our shortcomings. May He make us from those who can
[1:57] regret over our sin, and may He make us from those who can turn
[2:00] a new leaf and start on a new page with a new sheet as clean
[2:04] as ever, for the pleasure of Alasu Hanahwatana. With that, I also
[2:07] would like to thank this meschief who has invited me to come and render this
[2:13] tarawei, as well as the talks that have been taking place throughout the month
[2:16] of Ramadan. May Allah make this a means of entry into Janna for all
[2:21] of us, and may Alasubhnahwatala accept it from one and all. Che has
[2:25] definitely spoken as I said, we would like Allah Subhnahwatala to be pleased with
[2:31] us. If that has happened, there is nothing more than that we want.
[2:36] And the committee members as well as the others who are responsible for the
[2:40] Meschiet, the Musanli's everyone else, the brothers, the sound and the all
[2:45] the others who are involved, you know, as well as those brothers outside
[2:49] with the traffic and so on. Everyone who made an effort to come Mela
[2:53] reward us abundantly. There is nothing we can do to repay anyone. It
[2:57] is only Allah who can repay. So this is why we don't expect something
[3:01] from anyone besides a good dua to ask Allah's acceptance and to ask Allah to
[3:06] grant us general and be pleased with us. I would like to dive straight
[3:09] into the topic because I'd like to end at the hour and in shah lah
[3:14] we hope and pray that we can benefit. We want to cover quite a
[3:16] bit of ground this evening. We are talking about the prophet Jesus, may
[3:20] Peace be upon him. The reason why I say it in the English language
[3:23] is because many people who do not know the Arabic term need to know what
[3:29] we believe about the Prophet Jesus, May peace be upon him. Isa alaihalah
[3:34] to a Salam. The Koran has mentioned or named several surahs after either the
[3:40] mother who was Mary, may peace be upon her of Jesus is alaih is
[3:45] Salam or the family known as Ali Imran. And in fact, there is
[3:50] another surah known as al mah Idah, which means the laid table and that
[3:54] laid table cloth is connected to what isa alaih is salah to a salam from
[4:00] a loss of hannahawa to Allah. So there are many such surahs in the
[4:03] Puran and common chapters in the Puran. We need to thank a loss of
[4:06] hannahwat Alah that he has given us the truth. We would also like to
[4:12] mention what we spoke about yesterday. Alass of hannahwat Alah prepared the mother of
[4:17] Jesus made peace be upon him, very very carefully. Alas of Hannah,
[4:21] howat Alah prepared her by her prior to her birth, being dedicated by her
[4:29] mother for the place of worship and for ensuring that she will be dedicated.
[4:34] She had made this promise to alass of hanahawa to Alah, not knowing that
[4:38] she was bearing a female child. But when the female child came, they
[4:42] fulfilled the promise. She was born and often meaning the father Amran, who
[4:46] was a very very pious man, had passed away, and Amran had a
[4:50] record for being a very very upright man, a very very good share.
[4:56] He used to lead the people in prayers and so on. And a Las
[5:00] of hannahwat Ala says that Zacharia, who is the uncle of Mariam or Mary,
[5:04] may peace be upon her, was the one who brought her up,
[5:09] and he was responsible. And we learned yesterday about the life of Zakaria and
[5:13] what happened as a result. She was also a very very pious girl.
[5:16] She grew up. Allah gave her lots of wisdom, lots of knowledge she
[5:20] learned under the tutorship of Zakaria. Ali Ha Sala to a Sardam and Alas
[5:26] of Hannah howat Ala speaks about various miracles that occurred when she was still very
[5:30] young, as she was being prepared for something very very great to happen.
[5:35] One of the greatest miracles of all time was to happen to Mary, May
[5:42] peace be upon her. Mariam ali Asala to Saardam so Alas of hanahwat Ala
[5:46] speaks about what happened, what if Klentin malakatuya Malayamo in allahaus parfa how munk
[5:57] he was Pafa ki Alah and his in Lalami. Earlier when she was still
[6:05] quite young, growing up. Allah, subhanahwat Alah sent a message to her
[6:11] via the angels, and the angels told her, Oh Mariam, Allah has
[6:15] chosen you, purified you from all polytheism. Allah has made you one who
[6:21] will worship him alone. So you are pure in every way, purified in
[6:28] your reputation, purified in your character and conduct, but above all, purified
[6:32] in your worship. It will not be rendered for anyone besides your maker.
[6:38] And Allah has chosen you above all the women of your time. Subhanama,
[6:45] Yeah, mariyamra Biki was judy warukaima rocky. Therefore, oh Mariam, we
[6:55] want to inform you and instruct you. Submit unto Allah oknutili rob beki.
[7:00] Submit for your own rob the one who made you, and find yourselves from
[7:04] the ones who bow down and from the ones who are prostrate solely to their
[7:10] maker. So alas is that he came in in like oh Mohammed salalah a.
[7:18] He was seldom. This is the news and the information of the unseen
[7:21] that we are giving you. We are telling you the true version of the
[7:26] story of Mary and Jesus and Zachariah and John and so of them. Alasu
[7:30] Hannah hawat Ala bless them all. So Alasu Hannah howat alyases. After some
[7:35] time she continued to worship Allah, and she was very pious, and she
[7:42] had her place of worship within the place of worship, her own corner and
[7:46] cubicle. She had a cubicle in the sense that there was a partition between
[7:50] her and those who would come from her members of her family. She was
[7:55] in her own corner, and alasu Hannah howat alyases. Thereafter we called out
[7:59] to her again. In fact, in one place alas Subhana Howat alas is
[8:03] sa Mariam was corn Mariam in Taba that means aliha mccanna chaka. And remember
[8:13] in the book the story of Mary. May peace be upon her. Mariam
[8:16] ali Haasalatu was Salam. When she took a place for her own worship within
[8:24] the place of worship, she had her own cubicle towards the west. It
[8:28] was sorry, it was facing the east. It was facing the east.
[8:31] Mccannan chartillan. It was a place facing the east. So she had a
[8:37] little corner by the eastern window. And alas Subhannah Howat alas is Fatara that
[8:41] meduni him hijaba. She had had a hijab or a curtain between her and
[8:50] her family members. She was worshiping alas of Hannah Hawatala her family members on
[8:54] the other side. As we know, we have cubicles sometimes in the corners
[8:56] of the massajid where people want to engage in etty calf and they want to
[9:01] spend time dedicated to alasub Hannah hawat alah. So alas is. She had
[9:05] had her place for a sell na Elaia Hannah Fatima sala Laha by Charo sa.
[9:13] We sent the angel Gabriel or the archangel Gabriel to her in the form
[9:20] of a handsome looking man, and he went into her cubicle. Immediately she
[9:26] uttered words of protection from in the loss of Hannah howat Ala from anything mischievous
[9:31] karlat inhamanika in kunta. She says, I seek protection in Allah from you.
[9:43] So if you are intelligent, if you are fearful of a loss sub
[9:46] Hannah howat Alah, you will understand that I have sought the protection of the
[9:50] Maker and the Creator. Don't harm me. Immediately, Gibril alai is salatuward
[9:56] Salam, says Carla in Anasun or Robbia Zaki, I am the angel from
[10:07] your rob I have come to give you good news that you shall be a
[10:13] child who will be very pure. She had this news. Now she is
[10:16] shocked, she is surprised. She is still listening to the information. Let's
[10:20] look at how it was worded in another place in the Koran ala Imran Allah
[10:24] Sudhana howat alas is if call Latin mala in katunya maryamo in allahy won kelly
[10:33] matin mean when the angels told Mariam Mary the daughter of Amran, that Allah
[10:43] is giving you glad tidings of a word from him. What is that word?
[10:48] We spoke about it yesterday. Couldn't be and it will be. The
[10:52] word is calf and noon, we said yesterday, am rojo binal caaf on
[10:56] noon. The instruction of Allah is between a calf and a noon. Once
[11:01] those words are uttered, b it automatically is. So we are giving you
[11:05] good news of a word from Alas subhanah alah, and it will be a
[11:11] sign. There will be a child we are naming him from now. So
[11:16] she is being told this already while she is sitting in her own seclusion.
[11:22] Alas subhanah alas Is is mouhul Masi roamwaji have in Dunya mean his name shall
[11:37] be the Christ is Sah Jesus, May peace be upon him, the son
[11:41] of Mary. He will be known as the son of a female. All
[11:46] of us here we are known as the son of a male in the sense
[11:50] that you are called Abdullah. Your father is Abdrahman. You are Abdullah Abdrahman.
[11:56] You are Abdullah, the son of Abdrahman. However, when it comes
[11:58] to he was known by his mother's name Issa, the son of Mary.
[12:05] Amazing. She is listening. She is obviously in awe. She is trying
[12:09] to digest. She knew that Allah's preparing her for something great. But she
[12:13] is getting the information. And Alas of Hannah, howat Alas is he will
[12:16] be honored. Weji henfidunya Ara. He will be honored in this world as
[12:20] well as in the next, very honored man Wamin Almin. And he will
[12:26] be from amongst those very close to Allah in the life after, in the
[12:31] sense that in the Afara he will also be very very close to Alas of
[12:35] Hannahata Allah. So this boy, this child that is going to come to
[12:41] you honored and very close to alass of hannahuata allah yu klaemonasefla kahla wamen asanihan,
[12:52] and he will be speaking to people from the cradle. So she is
[12:56] being told this already in advance. He will be speaking to people from the
[13:00] cradle as well as later on when he is aged. Were you kalmona safika
[13:11] o amin asali hain and he is from amongst those who will be pious.
[13:15] He will be very pious. And Alasu hannahwat Ala, says Mariam Ali Hassala
[13:20] to a Salam. She heard this news and she understood it very carefully.
[13:26] Before she knew it already, Gibrin ali is Salam had blown what Alasu hannahwat
[13:31] Ala had instructed him to blow. And she was already she had conceived,
[13:37] She already had the child in her belly, in her womb. Now she
[13:41] is surprised. Firstly, she is clean, She is a virgin, not
[13:45] married in any way, no form of mischievous. She was never ever immoral,
[13:50] immodest, not at all. She was dedicated. She barely came out
[13:54] of the place of worship unless for necessity. And now she is being told
[14:00] this is what is going to happen. So alas Subhana Howatla says amazingly,
[14:05] Karla an nayakuni namu alam im sesni vaisha. How can I bear a child
[14:16] when no man has touched me? And I am not from amongst those who
[14:22] are unchased. I've never done anything wrong, immoral, unacceptable. I have
[14:28] maintained the purity of the highest level. And you are telling me that I'm
[14:31] going to bear a child. The response came, Carla, Carla rambunk inja
[14:43] naciammina. The response came, that is it. It is declared and decreed,
[14:50] and it is a sign from a lass Subhannah hawat Ala. It is
[14:54] very very easy for your creator, who has created, to do this,
[14:58] and we will make him a sign for entire mankind. Let us pose there
[15:03] for a moment the circle of creation and the kudra and power of the creator
[15:09] was being closed. What do we mean Allah has created without the involvement of
[15:16] a male or a female such as Adam. The first human being was Adam,
[15:20] May peace be upon him. There was no male involved, no female
[15:24] involved, Allah said b and he was created from dust soil and created by
[15:30] a lass of Hannahua to Anna. Thereafter the second probability. Allah created through
[15:35] a male without the involvement of a female. Who was created in that way?
[15:41] How or Eve may peace be upon her through a male no involvement of
[15:46] female. Then there was every one of us after those two, everyone who
[15:50] came thereafter. They were created via male and female. That's the third probability.
[15:56] There's one more left to close the circle. To show you the power
[15:58] of Allah. What is that to create via a female without the involvement of
[16:03] a male. Allah left it for the time when isaili is Alam was sent
[16:07] the prophet Jesus made peace be upon him. He was that miracle of alas
[16:11] subhanahwa to Alah, created with no involvement of a male. Not that he
[16:17] was the son of Allah stuff for Allah. Allah for a bit, he
[16:21] was not the son of God. But he was a creature created miraculously by
[16:26] the word of Allah. What was that word? Allah said? Be?
[16:29] And he was just like Adam was created before alas is in the Quran in
[16:33] a Mathlah is ah in Allah Camethali Adam Halla came to rather thum ma cal
[16:42] ala kun faiir kun. The example of Jesus is just like the example of
[16:49] Adam. For alas subanahwa to Allah. Allah created Adam with some dust or
[16:55] some soil, and he said be, and he was so. Allah did
[16:59] the same word, Jesus made peace be upon him. He said be,
[17:02] and he was so. Is aalih Slam began to grow in the womb of
[17:07] his mother, and his mother is now pondering and thinking and concerned. She's
[17:12] been given good news. He's going to be pious. He's going to be
[17:15] good. He's going to learn, he's going to teach, he's going to
[17:18] have revelation. He's going to guide the people. He will be able to
[17:22] speak. And Allah gave this news and information to the mother prior to the
[17:26] birth. She already knew this. And he is going to be able to
[17:30] speak to people from the cradle as well as later on. So from the
[17:34] very early days he was going to be able to speak to people. Now.
[17:38] Mariam Ali Hassalah to Salam alasu anahuat Alam makes mention of this, and
[17:42] Allah says, fahamlet fan taba that be him acana conseling uh. She held
[17:53] this child to a place a little bit of a distance from where she was.
[18:02] She was in Jerusalem. She decided to go to Bethlehem, Bethleham.
[18:07] She decided to go to Bethlehem, and when she got there, she was
[18:11] busy preparing, she was seeing thinking, she was worried. She was very
[18:15] worried. Why was she worried? One is she knows she is pure,
[18:18] she is clean. On one hand, to deliver is a very big worry
[18:23] tension. The secret is don't worry. That's the secret. But who doesn't
[18:27] worry? Alasub Hannah, howat ala make it easy for all our women folk.
[18:33] The second concern, I'm going to take this child. How will people
[18:37] receive this child? I've been given responses, answers, I've been told who
[18:41] he is, I know everything. But these people will accuse me, they'll
[18:44] accuse the child. They might decide to do something against the child. What
[18:48] will happen? All this worry? So Alas sub Hannah, howat alas is
[18:52] ja al malo in in a call that yeah, mito Cabanaha, we called
[19:03] to Nassim see the pains of childbirth drove her to the stump or to a
[19:14] trunk of a date tree. So the date palm, the trunk of it.
[19:18] She had got to it and she's holding it due to the pain of
[19:22] childbirth, and she is hoping to herself, saying to herself, I wish
[19:27] I was dead before this and long forgotten, because she is worried. She
[19:34] doesn't want to go against the decree of Allah, not at all, but
[19:37] she is wishing it's going to be so difficult. I wish I were dead,
[19:40] and I wish I was forgotten, and I wish this did not happen
[19:42] to me. So immediately alasu hanahuatalyas is fernadaaman Tati he called from beneath.
[19:53] Now the question is who called one of two Either by the time she was
[19:57] holding this trunk as support, she gave birth and the child spoke. Now,
[20:03] this is also mentioned in some of the books of Tas, some of
[20:07] them of a Syrian saying the child and this sounds very correct in the sense
[20:11] that it sounds very accurate. But there is another opinion that it was the
[20:15] angel that spoke. Either way, it is a message from Allah. So
[20:19] either way it is a message from Allah. I feel that the more correct
[20:22] opinion is she had given birth as she had held support on that particular stump,
[20:29] and the child, as the child was now beneath her, the child
[20:33] called out fanada nada in the Arabic language means one male is calling. Who
[20:40] called, possibly the child Allah Tazani, Do not worry, do not fear,
[20:45] don't worry father jah al ahram Bun. Just look beneath you. Allah
[20:52] has caused a spring of water to gush. Now, this was a desert,
[20:56] there was no water. She needed something to drink. She was on
[21:00] her own, delivering no support besides that of Allah, which was more than
[21:06] enough. And she had this stump that she was holding on to a trunk
[21:11] of a date palm. So Allah says, We've made water for you here.
[21:15] Just take a look. And not only will we give you a drink
[21:19] miraculously today or mary, but we are going to give you also fresh date
[21:26] rich in mineral and vitamin. To this day. If you have the fresh
[21:30] date childbirth, post childbirth, or even before, it is very very healthy,
[21:37] rich in iron. They say the breast milk of a woman, one
[21:41] thing it lacks is iron, doesn't have enough. While you have lots of
[21:45] dates lahu akabar. Something that is amazing from the poran date is rich in
[21:49] iron. I'm sure we know that. So Alas subhanahuata Alas is well who's
[21:53] the elk in Allah? Shake this date trunk a little bit, the trunk
[22:02] of the date palm, shake it a bit to sak Jenny the beautiful dates,
[22:11] fresh dates will drop. Fakuli. Why shall a bearni? I mean
[22:15] a so eat and drink as much as you want, and thank Allah,
[22:19] be happy and be glad. This is the miracle. And over and above
[22:26] that, it's either the child who's speaking or the message of Allah. The
[22:29] child is saying, why im materin I mean al bashari ahada fakuni in manysma
[22:38] fell k Limanyama. See, whenever you see a human being, tell them
[22:45] I have promised Allah and made a vow that I'm not going to speak to
[22:49] any human beings. So don't talk today on that particular day, I'm not
[22:52] going to talk today. So as she went out, alas hannahuatalyasi is,
[23:02] come tahme alone. She now arrived. It was late afternoon when she arrived
[23:07] with the child back to her people, going back into the place where she
[23:11] was in seclusion, holding the child at her chest and walking very carefully,
[23:17] very very calm, relaxed. Her face was beaming with light and she was
[23:21] looking very happy. Normally when a person's committed a sin, they're very sad.
[23:26] They don't want anyone to know. She's holding the child, covering the
[23:29] child very well. The people began to see and started saying, isn't that
[23:33] the Mary who's supposed to be in the place of where ship. Isn't she
[23:37] the one who's supposed to be the pious Isn't she the one who is the
[23:41] descendant of the prophet Haraun. The word Haroon is used, it's either referring
[23:47] to some pious person in the community. So they used to call her the
[23:52] sister of a Harn because there was someone known as Haron who was also very
[23:56] pious, and she was also very pious, so they say, sir of
[24:00] her own Oh what is more correct? She was from the lineage of the
[24:04] prophet Haroun, who was also from Banu Israeil, And because he was so
[24:08] pious and she had his blood in her being from his lineage, they always
[24:15] reminded her, you are from the family of such a pious man. Your
[24:19] mother is pious, your father is pious, your generations your grandfather's It dates
[24:23] back all the way to Harn. So alas says Carnoya, marya mulak tisha
[24:30] veriah, Oh, Mary, you have come up with something very very grave,
[24:37] very very uncommon, unprecedented, something very dangerous and detrimental, something huge.
[24:42] What is this all about? Yeah off ta Harna Oh, sister of
[24:48] harn I explained, who is the harn one of the two? Yeah off
[24:52] Taharna malkmu kim hmm ok oh, sister of such a pious man, a
[25:04] person who is from the lineage of the prophet. Had your father never engaged
[25:10] in adultree? He was a very very pious man. Your mother never engaged
[25:14] in adultree. Your father did not commit sin like this. What is this
[25:17] all about? Now? This was an accusation of adultery, an accusation of
[25:22] engaging in illicit activity. How did you start? How did you become pregnant?
[25:30] How did you get this child? They all asking, they're accusing.
[25:34] Who were the people at the time? They were Jewish people in the sense
[25:38] that they were Banu Israel, the children of Israel. Israel was Yakub Jacob,
[25:42] the prophet Jacob was known as Israel. So these are the children of
[25:45] Jacob. Jesus was sent to the children of Jacob. He was sent to
[25:49] Banu Israel, the children of Israel, as it is known. So these
[25:55] were the people around accusing the mother, telling her, you have committed a
[26:00] very very grave sin. Your father wasn't like this, your mother wasn't like
[26:04] this. Ashah. She knew the child is going to speak, so Hannah
[26:11] lah i don't need to say anything today. So when she pointed to him,
[26:15] they looked at her. They realize she doesn't want to talk. She's
[26:19] now pointing at the child. Is she foolish? Carlo Kalman film Sabinia.
[26:26] They said, how can we speak to a child in a cradle here?
[26:30] Imagine a newborn baby. You want to talk to a baby. And as
[26:33] they were in this discussion, and they were talking to each other and talking
[26:37] to her and telling her, how foolish are you? You want us to
[26:41] talk a baby to a baby, they heard the baby say, in Aba
[26:45] dunlah I am the worshiper of a law, the slave of Allah atani Aiabinia.
[26:57] Allah has given me the book the Revelation, and he has made me
[27:00] a prophet. Imagine a little child talking, a baby speaking wajia alani mobara
[27:07] can ainama kontu. And Allah has blessed me wherever I go. It is
[27:11] blessed Wau sani this snati zakatim a doom tohaia for as long as I live.
[27:19] Allah has instructed me to engage in prayer and to give our charity,
[27:23] to be very charitable. Allah make us step fast with our prayer and our
[27:26] charities, and may he accept that from us as well. Wabara bi wili
[27:33] danti. And he has instructed me to be obedient to my mother. Allahu
[27:37] akbar here you have the role of the mother. Once again, this was
[27:40] special, but that rule applies to all of us, for our mothers and
[27:42] our fathers. Sometimes some people neglect the mother, some people neglect the father.
[27:48] Remember, we need to respect both parents. We need to understand their
[27:52] roles and we need to know that they are priority in our lives. And
[27:56] we ask Allah to make us parents whom our children can look up to as
[28:00] role models. So Alas sub Hannah, what alyases Wabara by daddy, Waa
[28:08] jabara shatiya. He has instructed me to be obedient, to be dutiful unto
[28:18] my mother. There was no father involved. That's why Alas is my mother.
[28:22] And he has not made me from amongst the sinful and He has not
[28:27] made me from amongst those who are unfortunate. Was salah yah yahoomahn into wyama
[28:37] amoto wayaama oba to hi yah, and peace be upon me. The child
[28:42] is still speaking, sobhanah la. These people are baffled. They are godsmacked,
[28:48] to use the right term, don't know what to say, Silent,
[28:52] just watching. He's saying, may peace be upon me. The day I
[28:56] was born, the day I shall die, the day I will be resurrected.
[29:02] May the peace of Allah be upon me. He is speaking. They
[29:07] are shocked, So how do they react? These were priests, these were
[29:11] rabbis, These were people who used to teach the religion. Watching they had
[29:15] just accused someone of adultery, and what happened as they are watching, they
[29:19] are looking, they are hearing. There is no ways this is magic.
[29:23] There is no ways this is anything but a miracle. There is no ways
[29:26] this is anything but a sign from Allah, the creator. It is miraculous.
[29:32] They know the piety of this woman, They know the family, They
[29:34] know everything. They can see. She's not worried. They can see the
[29:37] miracle child. They can see everything. But they are worried that if we
[29:41] now acknowledge this child. They are thinking future. This child is going to
[29:45] take the carpet from beneath our feet, pull it, and what will happen.
[29:49] We won't have leadership anymore. Nobody's going to follow us anymore. People
[29:52] will now follow him. He is going to be the boss. He's going
[29:56] to be above us. The best thing for us to do is from now.
[29:59] Let us fighting from that stage. So they continued, No, we're
[30:04] not interested. We would like to you to understand this is a sin.
[30:11] You have committed, immorality. You've come with a child. This child is
[30:15] illegal, illegitimate. This is what the Jewish people had said, and the
[30:19] Quran makes mention of this. They continued accusing Mariam and Alas of Hannah howat
[30:25] Alyasis, we purified her, she was pure, and they continued accusing.
[30:30] In the meantime, she had gone back to the place of worship. And
[30:33] mention is not made of the detail of how the child grew up. But
[30:37] the child grew up and later on a loss of Hannah Howat Alas speaks about
[30:41] what happened to is Ali Hasalam. Before we get there, let's make mention
[30:45] of something important. There are people whom a loss of Hannah howat alases have
[30:52] started calling this young boy the son of God. Why was this? This
[30:59] was because they didn't see the father. To them, there was no father.
[31:03] So when they were told this is the this is a miracle from Allah,
[31:07] they said, well, that is the son of Allah, and they
[31:10] started saying, this is the son of Allah. So alasuhnahwach Alah says ma
[31:14] kanlillahida alad nay. It is not befitting for the Creator to take a son,
[31:22] to have a begotten son. It is blasphem to relate to the Creator,
[31:29] who only needs to say be and anything he wants to make is created
[31:33] automatically. It is blasphemous to relate to him to say he has a begotten
[31:40] son. May Allah say Gods from such blasphemy. Now, so in Islam
[31:45] we believe to say that the God Almighty has a son is blasphemous. The
[31:51] Puran speaks about how sick that blasphemy is, and the pooran says, h
[32:01] little rahmaniladabad war my bari little RAHMANI how can they say that Allah, the
[32:13] most merciful, has a son. And it is not befitting for the most
[32:16] merciful to have a son alas is takadu Samawan to mino, what a shakpul,
[32:27] what a herjib? Who had this statement is so blasphemous that the skies
[32:34] want to tear apart, and the earth wants to explode, and the mountains
[32:44] want to fall prostrate to alass of hana Allah because of the severity and seriousness
[32:50] of such a dangerous statement against the maker himself. So even the creation of
[32:54] Allah are bearing witness that Alasu Hanah, howat Alah has not taken a son,
[33:02] and they are agitated at the fact that people are saying this. Yes,
[33:07] he did not have a father, but Adam neither had a father nor
[33:09] a mother, and Eve neither had meaning Eve did not have a mother,
[33:15] Meaning we cannot even call Adam the father. She was also created miraculously.
[33:20] And when it comes to Jesus, may peace be upon him, he did
[33:23] not have a father. That's what the Kuran say is but you cannot say
[33:27] the son of Allah and the begotten. The word beget is so blasphemous.
[33:31] If you have to check the meaning of it in the Oxford Dictionary, you'd
[33:35] probably hide your face. Ma Allah protect us. How can we say that
[33:37] for the maker of the universe. He doesn't need that. He is powerful.
[33:42] We believe the Maker only needs to say b and it iss of Hannah,
[33:46] howat ala grand Us goodness. So this is a very powerful statement.
[33:50] Alas is as this child grew or your ali moha walhikh mata what taatajela the
[33:59] same thing Allah had promised the mother he got. What did he get al
[34:02] qitaba? He got the book, the revelation and hick matter. Allah gave
[34:07] him wisdom, and Allah gave him prophethood, and Allah gave him the Turrah.
[34:13] He knew the tah of my heart. Remember he met the prophet John,
[34:17] May peace be upon him Yahya alaih is Salam. It is reported that
[34:21] there was a discussion between the two of them at one stage, and Is
[34:25] alaih is Salam, Jesus may peace be upon him, tells Yahia in one
[34:29] deration that you should pray for me. So John, Yahya alaih Salam says
[34:34] to him, no, you should pray for me. So he says,
[34:37] no, you are better than me. He says, what do you mean?
[34:38] I am better than you? So Yahia or John, may peace be
[34:44] upon him, says to Isa or to Jesus. Here he says, you
[34:49] declared peace upon yourself. The creator declared peace upon you, and you said,
[34:57] may peace be upon me. And in my case, Allah is saying
[35:00] that may peace be upon him. So it goes back to Isa Jesus,
[35:06] may peace be upon him. He says, well, in your case,
[35:08] Allah declared the peace. In my case, I declared it myself. So
[35:13] this was just a discussion because Yahiah, the same thing happened. He also
[35:17] Alas of Hanah, Howat Ala says, we granted him as a child to
[35:21] Zakariah after a long time. Remember these two were cousins. And Alas of
[35:27] Hannah, howach Alahs say is that we have blessed him. We have granted
[35:30] him peace and salam and so on. And this in the case of Isa
[35:35] Alih Salam, he speaks about himself, I am blessed. I am the
[35:37] one who shall remain in peace, and so on. So Alas of Hanah,
[35:42] Howat Alah very interestingly uses the word salam. Salam refers to peace,
[35:46] and we all use that term as well. May peace be upon you.
[35:50] We use the word as salam or alaikum, May peace be upon all of
[35:53] us. That is the word we normally use. And the peace also means
[35:58] no harm shall reach him. We're going to need that in a few moments
[36:01] when we come to how they tried to murder him. No harm shall reach
[36:07] Jesus, not at all. He is a miracle of Allah. He is
[36:10] the word of Allah, the rule. The soul was blown by the word
[36:15] of Allas of Hannah. Ta Alah. So alasu hanahwat Alah says, he
[36:19] got the Taarah, he got the goodness. He started preaching, And as
[36:22] he started preaching, he always told the people in Allaharam meam bukum, seraltum
[36:30] mus tak him our maker, the one we worship, the Supreme Allah is
[36:38] the one who made us. He is my rab, and he is your
[36:44] rub, my maker, your maker, the one who protects me, the
[36:47] one who protects you, the one who provides for me, the one who
[36:51] provides for you. So worship him alone and nobody else. This was the
[36:57] message of Jesus. May alau Hannah, howat alas peace be a on him,
[37:00] and may peace be upon all of us as well. So when we
[37:04] worship, who do we worship? And this is the beauty of Islam.
[37:07] We say, Islam is a religion that has no risk. We do not
[37:10] worship a person, nor do we worship a stone, nor do we worship
[37:15] a stick, Nor do we worship a prophet, nor do we worship a
[37:17] grave. Nothing. We worship who ever made me. That's who I worship.
[37:22] That is what all the messengers said. We need to turn the pages
[37:27] of the Qur'an. We will shiver when we come to see every messenger came
[37:31] with exactly the same message. When it comes to belief. The belief was
[37:37] all the same. They taught worship the one who made you, no one
[37:39] else. So when we Muslims, when we bow down or we put our
[37:44] heads on the ground, a lot of people think we might be worshiping a
[37:46] black box in Mecca. Some people think we worshipping the prophet Muhammad. Some
[37:51] people think we worshipping this and that. No, we are worshiping the one
[37:55] who made us. That is the one for whom I put my head on
[37:59] the ground. This is why Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world,
[38:05] because everyone is fed up of worshiping things, worshiping wealth, worshiping people
[38:09] going through Allah via the priest and via the church, and via this and
[38:14] via a person and via someone else who's an archbishop or whoever else. In
[38:17] Islam, no confession to nobody. You confess to your maker in the darkest
[38:22] hour of the night. Oh my Maker, I have done wrong. I
[38:24] admit my error, I regret it. I seek your forgiveness, and I
[38:28] won't do it again. Those four conditions, your sin is wiped out.
[38:32] Well, wipe out our sins allahum in nakauhun to hit bulafana. Oh Allah,
[38:39] you are most forgiving. You love to forgive, so forgive us.
[38:44] That is a powerful day we should be making on a night like this.
[38:46] This might be the last taraweh that we've witnessed of the month of Ramadan,
[38:51] if we happen to see the moon tomorrow. So it is important for us
[38:55] to know that Islam is a religion that is a straight even slater than a
[39:00] pin if I can word it that way, no risk involved. We put
[39:04] our head on the ground for who we say, Whoever made me, you,
[39:07] you are owed my whole life. Whoever I'm going to return to,
[39:09] have mercy on me when I return to you when you are sick, O
[39:14] owner of cure, cure me. So bhanalah, what risk is there.
[39:16] The owner of Creo will cure you. You want to call out, Oh,
[39:20] you who hears the prayers of those who call out to him, hear
[39:22] me? What risk is involved? Nothing at all. The maker of the
[39:27] universe, the creator, the one who made me and you. This is
[39:30] sound intellect. If you are intelligent, you know I want to pause for
[39:34] a moment. Had Allah Anhu was a powerful warrior at the time of Muhammed
[39:37] Salah. Ahi was Slam. Most of the wars he took part in he
[39:42] won. And there was a time he was not a Muslim, but he
[39:45] was very intelligent and he caused a lot of upset when it comes to the
[39:50] wars with the Muslims at the time when he was not a Muslim. So
[39:53] rasululas Allallaho was Slam calls his brother one day in Madina and says, oh,
[39:59] brother of Alwalid Halid, where is Khi? And he explains, Luki
[40:05] is there, and so on one statement I want to share with you.
[40:07] Rasulu lasaah a was Alam says ma Iflukhalid ya jahalul Islama. It is impossible
[40:14] for a person of the intellect of Halidwalid to be ignorant of the fact that
[40:19] Islam is correct ya tibihillah Allah will bring him. And it is reported that
[40:23] no sooner was that statement uttered than Halid di Nuwalid entered Madina Munawara and he
[40:28] comes to the prophets lallaho Ah was Slam seeking forgiveness and saying, yeah,
[40:31] Rasul a Lah, I would like to enter the fold of Islam, but
[40:35] I'm worried about the damage that I have done. So I am worried about
[40:38] all the sin I've committed and all the damage I have done. So the
[40:42] prophets allallah Alam says, yeah, Hahlid in Islam iyajub buma kablah oh Halid,
[40:47] I want to tell you, Islam deletes everything that happened before it.
[40:52] So whatever since you've committed in the past, they are wiped out, deleted,
[40:54] new slate, new sheet. Not only that, we are taught that
[40:59] tao Bah does the same thing for you. Subanah howat Alah grant us a
[41:02] new beginning and the beauty of it. It takes the good deeds with it
[41:07] only deletes the bad deeds. So it is selective formatting, not just formatting
[41:12] the hard drive selective formatting, MELA open our drives and shall La clear them
[41:17] for us completely. So we have is Ali saratua salam alas subana. Howatalysis
[41:24] he began to call the people. He was so compassionate. He was such
[41:29] a beautiful man. He was so loving. He spoke to people with so
[41:32] much love and passion. He really wanted them to earn paradise. And he
[41:37] was such a beautiful human being. Not only was he a person who was
[41:42] very good looking, but at the same time came relaxed individual with qualities that
[41:46] were super subhano la. And he was brought up in a beautiful, fantastic
[41:52] manner with the Tahrah. And on top of it, Allah revealed the Ngeal
[41:58] to him, the Ingeal meaning the bill was revealed to Isa. We know
[42:02] that the Bibles that are in the hands of the people today, they themselves
[42:06] are disputing as to which is the correct version. So I normally say,
[42:09] please solve your mess and your problem amongst yourselves. When you have one version,
[42:14] come to us. We will then look into it. But until the
[42:16] time you don't have one version, how can you come and preach it to
[42:20] us? We have one Quran, no two versions. We are preaching it
[42:22] to you. We stand on a higher position. Anahuat Ala grant's goodness.
[42:27] We believe in Jesus. You cannot be a Muslim if you don't believe in
[42:30] Jesus, May peace be upon him. But we believe the truth. We
[42:34] don't blesspheme anyone. I made mention of it yesterday and the previous day.
[42:37] The minute you hear a narration blespheming any messenger of Allah, you throw it
[42:40] out of the window. We don't need it, we don't want it.
[42:43] We don't even want to hear it, no matter where it has come from.
[42:46] Mals of Hannah. Howat Ala grant us protection. So alas sup Hannah.
[42:51] Howat Ala, says Phalama sam in Mukofra cal la'm an a sorry law.
[43:02] When Isaieh Salam noticed that these people are all disbelieving. No one wants
[43:06] to accept my message, he uttered the words. He asked a question,
[43:09] who is going to be from amongst the helpers of Allah, who wants to
[43:14] help the cause of their maker. So they were a certain number of people.
[43:17] Some narrations say seventeen people, but the bulk of narrations saying they were
[43:22] twelve people who came forth, and they said Alas says karl al Hawaii Yun
[43:27] asaru lah amanabin Nah, had they be namos name on the hawari Yun the
[43:37] disciples, There was a certain number of men. I told you the most
[43:42] correct opinion. They were twelve. The Koran says they came up and they
[43:45] said, we believe in Allah. We will assist the cause. You write
[43:51] our names, or bear witness that we are from amongst those who are submitters
[43:54] unto our maker and creator. Never did Jesus, may peace be upon him,
[44:00] call anybody to worship him. He always said, worship the maker who
[44:04] made you. And he always came up with the statements that were very clear
[44:08] cut. We ask Alas of hannahawat Alah to grant us a deeper understanding.
[44:15] So Alas of hannahwat Ala makes mention of some of the miracles that were granted
[44:19] to the prophet Jesus made peace be upon him. What were these miracles?
[44:22] Alas is Warasoul and Elavani is sarah Ilah and Alas of hannahwat Alah sent him
[44:28] as a messenger to Banu Israel Banu Israil, meaning the Jewish people. When
[44:32] he came they split into two. There was a group that accepted him as
[44:37] a messenger, and the group that rejected him as a messenger, and they
[44:44] began, or they continued to say that this is an illegitimate child born outside
[44:49] of wedlock. Ma Allah protect us. So those who accepted his message were
[44:53] known as Nasarah Nasarah, meaning Christians. Those who accepted Jesus Christ, and
[45:00] those who did not they remained Jewish. But according to us, the prophet
[45:05] of the time is who you are supposed to be behind. So if we
[45:08] were alive at the time of Jesus, what were we supposed to have been
[45:13] followers of Jesus? If we were alive at the time of Moses, may
[45:17] peace be upon him. Who were we supposed to have followed the prophet Moses?
[45:22] And if we are now here at the time of Muhammed salaalaho allah he
[45:24] was Alam. Who are we supposed to be following Muhammed salalah allah he was
[45:30] Alam. So we have Musa, we have Isa, and we have Muhammad
[45:35] salallah allah he was Slam. May peace be upon all of them. But
[45:37] the Jews stop at Musalah salam. The peak of their era was the time
[45:43] of Solomon. So Leiman Alaih Islam. The Koran speaks about it. We
[45:47] spoke about it too here a few days ago. And when it comes to
[45:51] the Christians, the peak of their era was the time of Jesus is alai
[45:55] Salam. They don't accept any messenger thereafter. They say he was now the
[46:00] villa God or the son of God, or a party or a part of
[46:04] a trinity. Islam rejects all that. Islam says, no, he was
[46:07] an upright messenger who came with miracles from alas sup Hannah at Alah. His
[46:10] birth was a miracle, and at that time there was medicine was at its
[46:15] peak. Medicine was at its peak. So what happened. You find many
[46:20] people who were sick, and the doctors came in, and the doctors were
[46:22] regarded as top people who could cure. But there were certain sicknesses that could
[46:27] not be cured. So Alasu Hannah howat alas is is Ali Islam came with
[46:31] the following miracles, Ani coming out tiny kahi at you toii fia con ellah
[46:45] isaii is Salam speaking when he was a child, but it happened later on.
[46:49] He made a bird like statue of clay and blue in it suddenly it
[46:58] developed wings and flew off as a real bird. That's what the Koran says.
[47:01] That was a miracle given to the prophet. Isa Jesus made peace be
[47:05] upon him. He would make something out of clay image of a bird,
[47:09] blow into it. It would fly off as a real bird. So Allas
[47:15] subhanah howat Alah says, and akla cominai kahi at your tairi for ivni labi
[47:30] ul akhmah while asa maunta even in Na. Three things are mentioned in this
[47:37] part of the verse. He was given the miracle by the power of Allah.
[47:42] This is not him, he says. This is done by the leave
[47:45] of Allah, by the permission of Allah. Allah gives all the prophets.
[47:50] Whatever they had was from Allah, by the permission of Allah. So hanahwat
[47:53] Alah. So he says, Allah gave me the permission to do this to
[47:58] a bird. Secondly, those who were born blind, when he wiped his
[48:05] hand over their eyes rubbed slightly, they began to see. They opened their
[48:09] eyes. This was not We spoke about miracles a few days ago of nowadays,
[48:15] where people use the gin to cure people. This was a miracle of
[48:19] a prophet. There is a difference between the miracle of a prophet and something
[48:22] that is Unacceptablehana, Allah grant us light so that we can see, and
[48:28] Allah grant us eyesight. Some people have sight, but they don't see the
[48:30] signs of Allah. They are blinded to them. So here Allah is saying
[48:35] he had this miracle Jesus, may peace be upon him, could cure people
[48:38] who were born blind. That is what the Kuran says. And the Kuran
[48:42] says over and above that when people had the disease of leprosy, the lepers,
[48:47] he would touch them and they would be cured. Their skin would return
[48:52] as pure as ever, as clean as ever, as healthy as ever.
[48:55] And on top of that, one of the biggest miracles that he had,
[49:00] after a person had died, he could go there and bring them back to
[49:05] life by the will of Allah. And this is mentioned in the Quran.
[49:08] And he says, it is not from me, It is from my maker
[49:13] Lahu a kabara. This is given to me by the power of Allah.
[49:15] Why because the doctors used to say that they can prolong the life of people.
[49:22] So Allah says, hang on, you think you can prolong the life
[49:25] of people, let them die. We will bring them back to life.
[49:30] So bhanah lah. So he was one step higher. And this is why
[49:32] we mentioned the miracle of mussalai Salam. The prophet Moses, when he put
[49:37] his stick and when those put their ropes, they knew that this is something
[49:42] that is from the creator. It's not magic. In the same way here
[49:45] all those who wanted to see they knew this is not medicine. This is
[49:49] no joke, this is no coincidence. This is something from the Maker himself.
[49:54] Nobody can give life to the dead besides a lass suhannahwatana. So this
[50:00] these were some of the miracles that happened is Ala to Salam. Now let's
[50:05] get to another point Alas subhana. What alas is that is ailih Islam Jesus
[50:12] made peace be upon him, instructed his disciples to fast for a month,
[50:15] and they fasted. And when they fasted, they now said, you know,
[50:19] we all have fasted Marshallah for a month, and we all would like
[50:22] goodness alas as wealthy to kmilolata well in Toklam. While a la comteson you
[50:30] finish the prescribed time, you praise Allah, declare his greatness for what he
[50:35] has given you. Thank alas suhnahwat alah. And in order that you may
[50:38] be thankful, Allah has given you the day of ad. The day of
[50:40] Eid is a day of happiness. So here the disciples asked him, listen
[50:45] to what Allah says, if karl al hawaii and aya in sabamaram hell yesteryear
[50:52] or a booka alainam meanesana oh Jesus oh isa, we want you to bring
[51:05] forth. Is it possible for your rub to bring forth a laid tablecloth,
[51:10] a laid tablecloth from heaven for us we fasted the whole month. Now we
[51:19] need something from Allah. So is amlas is, He said, cal ala
[51:25] kotu, meaning be fearful of a love. If you are true believers,
[51:31] be fearful of a lassu hannah alah. They continued ask him. They said,
[51:35] no, no, no, we don't mean bad. We are believers,
[51:38] but we would like it for a reason. Here's the reason. Carlo,
[51:43] Norido and Minha, we want to eat from it, some food from
[51:46] heaven. We want to eat from it. Carlodu and Injuan mean a shy
[52:00] heding. So they said, we want to eat from it. We want
[52:04] our hearts to be more at ease that really it is true what we have
[52:07] asked you. You have brought it for us. We will believe, we
[52:10] will be the witnesses, and so on. Now it is reported that some
[52:14] of these disciples their belief within their heart was not very strong. They were
[52:19] still a little bit shaky because the whole community was against them, and the
[52:23] community didn't want A lot of them were on the side of those who had
[52:28] rejected the prophet. Jesus made peace be upon him. So Alas of hanahomat
[52:32] Allah says, in fact, these people continued kaola in saana in ama,
[52:45] takina ayamkas in is ade Salam made a da Jesus made peace be upon him,
[52:57] supplicated his creator, and he says, Oh, my Maker, send
[53:01] for us a late tablecloth of food, so that it can come to us
[53:07] as a point of happiness, a day of joy, so that the first
[53:10] and the last of us can all eat from it. Let it be a
[53:15] sign, and it will be a sign for those who are here. So
[53:19] I lost Subhanahatalysis call alah ini muna zenuln coom okay, I'm sending it to
[53:27] you. Here it comes, so Hannahma the tablecloth Alas says, we have
[53:32] laid it completely and we're sending it down for my badmcum for in Ni da
[53:43] bala ahad Miananlam. If after I send that laid tablecloth and you have all
[53:52] enjoyed the food and seen what it was all about, then if anyone still
[53:58] disbelieves, I will punish him a severe punishment, let him know that so
[54:04] Allah sent the late tablecloth Marshallah. It is reported that they ate whether or
[54:08] not it was the last supper Alaho's best. But they ate. You know,
[54:13] in the testaments they speak of a last supper, whether or not it
[54:15] was that Alaho's best, but they ate. And it is reported that so
[54:19] many people ate. The food was not depleted. This was a sign.
[54:22] It was a miracle. Thousands of people, according to some narrations, and
[54:25] Alas sumhnahwat Ala speaks of this in the Qoran. Now after this, Alas
[54:32] sum hannahwat Alah makes mention of something that happened to the prophet Jesus made peace
[54:37] be upon him. The people began to get fed up of him because he
[54:42] was taking away their popularity. Those who were supposedly religious, those who had
[54:49] followers. Their followers were now slowly talking about this messenger who came with this
[54:53] miracle. That miracle, he was the talk of the town that created z
[55:00] leossy in the hearts of some of these people who had rejected him. So
[55:02] they hatched a plan. What was the plan? They went to the king
[55:06] of the time and they told him there is a man called Jesus of Bethlehem.
[55:13] This Jesus is alahis Salam. He is saying this and saying that,
[55:19] and his eyes are on your kingdom. He wants your seat. In fact,
[55:23] he is going around saying he is the king. Now this is blasphemy,
[55:28] this is incorrect, lies, jealousy, a plan, and a ploy
[55:31] this king without finding anything out, nothing at all, he decides we can
[55:37] sort him out by doing what send our men look for him. Now.
[55:42] I have not made mention of all the difficulties suffered by Jesus. We have
[55:45] not gone into those details where the people made him suffer. But he was
[55:50] calm. He was very, very calm, very forgiving. He never wanted
[55:54] to revenge anybody, no one, not at all. He just continued with
[55:58] his work, and he was always positive, not negative. And every time
[56:01] there was an opportunity to call people towards the Almighty. He used it,
[56:06] and he was very patient and calm, and they began to say, oh,
[56:08] this is what a wonderful man and so on. But the others who
[56:12] were disbelieving, they fell to this plot. So when the people came,
[56:16] they wanted to know where is Jesus. He was nowhere to be found.
[56:21] Where is he? We want to know? Now, the disciples knew where
[56:23] he was, And I'm mentioning to you one narration. The disciples knew where
[56:30] he was. There was one of the disciples, the name given is Judas
[56:34] his carriers Allah knows best who exactly he was, but one of the disciples,
[56:38] and he decided to become a traitor. In fact, Chipan overtook him.
[56:44] The devil overtook him, and he led the men of this king and
[56:47] the Jewish people who were behind wanting to murder Jesus made peace be upon him
[56:52] to the room where he was. And there was a little window. So,
[57:00] yes, this one man goes in to confirm that Jesus is in the
[57:05] room. Who was he? He was the disciple They sent him in.
[57:08] You go and confirm that he is in the room. This man goes into
[57:13] the room and he is now a traitor, yet he's supposed to be a
[57:17] disciple. He goes into the room and he is asking is alaih is salam.
[57:22] He's just confirming that he's there. And at that moment Allah suhnahuat Allah
[57:29] changed the face of Judas, so it became the face of Jesus. And
[57:34] Allah took Jesus away through that window, gone up into the heavens in the
[57:37] proper form of the human being that he was taken up ascension of Jesus.
[57:43] This is the Islamic version of the Quran. He was taken up completely well
[57:47] before anybody could harm him. Allah says, at the beginning was salam or
[57:52] alaiyah, peace be upon me. They won't harm me at all nothing.
[57:55] So Jesus Christ made peace be upon him, was not harm armed at all
[58:00] nothing. He was taken up, and the face of this traitor was made
[58:05] to be the face of Jesus. So now he was taking long to come
[58:09] out. A little while later he comes out. These people are looking,
[58:13] they see Jesus. They go and hold him. He says, hey,
[58:15] I am Judas. No ways, So if you are Judas, where is
[58:19] Jesus? And if you are Jesus. Where is Judas they went back in,
[58:23] so they didn't know. They were also a little bit confused, but
[58:27] facially they knew this is Jesus, and this man is continuing to say,
[58:30] I am not Jesus, I am Judas they took him, they put a
[58:35] huge cross for him. They nailed him into the cross, and according to
[58:38] one narration, they took a crown of forms as a means of disgrace for
[58:45] him, and they placed it on his head. And they were happy,
[58:47] telling everyone we have crucified Jesus. But Allah knows Jesus was taken well before
[58:53] anybody could harm him. So Hannah nah, no one harmed him. So
[59:00] where is Jesus right now? May peace be upon him. He is alive,
[59:04] he is in heaven, He is with Allah. We believe he is
[59:07] going to come back alas says war In Hulaim Munnisah. Indeed, he will
[59:13] be one of the signs of the coming of the hour. He will come
[59:15] down just before the hour. Muhammad Salah alais Alam describes the place where he
[59:20] will come down in a sham at the moment, it's the country of Syria.
[59:25] He says, the eastern part, a certain place some of the scholars
[59:29] say, close to where the Amawi message it is today, and he will
[59:31] come down in a specific place. But he's going to come down towards the
[59:37] end of the time. And Alas says woim min a lin kitabi in la
[59:42] layumbi kablutetia kun alaim shah, all the true people of the book will believe
[59:52] in him before his final death. When he comes, he will live for
[59:55] a certain number of years. He will rule, he will spread the truth,
[59:59] he will spread the woneness, he will destroy the cross, and he
[1:00:01] will do so many things. He will kill the Antichrist and what have you.
[1:00:06] And thereafter he will also die. And Alas says, they will believe
[1:00:09] in him before he dies. He will come with these signs. And this
[1:00:14] is why Alas says, Wama cataloo Wama salabo wala ki should be alahum.
[1:00:21] They did not kill Jesus, nor did they crucify Jesus, but they were
[1:00:25] confused about him. Well in Aladdin af talafufi lafisha kim mean and those who
[1:00:34] were disputing about this Judas Alas says, they were in doubt even when they
[1:00:38] were crucifying this man, and even before and even after they are in plain
[1:00:44] doubt up to today, who exactly was crucified. If you take a look
[1:00:47] at the biblical versions of the crucifixion, so many contradictions in the story,
[1:00:52] so many. You just have to pick up a book or two of comparative
[1:00:55] studies between Islam and Christianity and you will see the amount of discrepancies that are
[1:01:00] in the story of how Jesus was crucified. Because it was not Jesus who
[1:01:06] was crucified. There was a face of Judas that was made to now look
[1:01:12] like Jesus, and this is why they crucify the man, believing that he
[1:01:15] was the one. But because he was a traitor, he was punished by
[1:01:17] the Almighty. Now the Christians believe he died on the cross as a redemption
[1:01:23] for our sins. We Muslims say it is an injustice for us sitting here
[1:01:29] in Cape Town in this messages to say, there is a lot of adultery,
[1:01:32] a lot of armed robbery, a lot of sin. So in order
[1:01:36] for us to absolve ourselves from all this, let's pick the most pious from
[1:01:39] amongst us and crucify him in that corner, and in sha allah, that
[1:01:44] will mean all our sins are expiated. That is injustice. The gravest injustice
[1:01:50] is to punish a person who did not commit the sin. So, as
[1:01:53] Muslims, we believe it is blasphemous to think that the Almighty would punish someone
[1:02:00] on another person's behalf. It's blasphemous. Again, another piece of blasphemy.
[1:02:05] But this is our belief. Remember, our belief is pristine, pure,
[1:02:07] undebatable. You can't argue with it. It has no blasphemy in it at
[1:02:10] all. Let's talk about something else. If he was a son of God,
[1:02:17] or as some of them say, part of God, or some of
[1:02:22] them say God himself. So God was crucified, what's going to happen to
[1:02:25] all of us? Allah hu Akaba. And this is why we say that
[1:02:30] that is another blasphemy. To call him a part of God, to call
[1:02:35] him a son of God, to call him these names, that is all
[1:02:37] blasphemous. To the real maker, the one who created all of us.
[1:02:42] Instead of saying, oh Jesus, you say, oh my Maker, redeem
[1:02:45] me, Oh my Maker, forgive me, Oh my Maker, when I
[1:02:49] return to you, have mercy on me. The minute you say, oh
[1:02:52] Jesus, have mercy on me. There's a very, very big risk.
[1:02:53] I like to tell my Christian friends, you know what, you are either
[1:02:57] right or wrong, but I'm always right. I say, Oh, my
[1:03:01] Maker, forgive me. Oh you who is the owner of forgiveness, forgive
[1:03:05] me, or you whom I'm going to return to, have mercy on me
[1:03:07] the day I return to I have never taken a risk. The minute you
[1:03:09] say, oh Jesus forgive my sin, you're taking a very degrees because even
[1:03:15] according to your own statement, you know, in religion nobody can guarantee anything.
[1:03:20] That's the beauty of religion. You need to have belief to believe,
[1:03:22] and this is why Islam is all about belief, and all religions are about
[1:03:27] belief. But you have to use your sins. You have to apply the
[1:03:30] common knowledge that Allah has given you. So you have to ask yourself,
[1:03:34] look, we need to believe, but believe what believe without risk? Because
[1:03:37] you live once only once, So if you are to risk it once,
[1:03:40] it's over. May Allah forgive us as Hannah much Allah have mercy on us.
[1:03:45] Now you find another statement, people say, Jesus blood was spilt for
[1:03:51] you me Allah forgive us as we said it encourages people to commit sin number
[1:03:55] one. Number two. It means the Almighty is more unjust than the tyrant
[1:04:01] rulers of today who punish innocent people. That is another piece of blasphemy.
[1:04:05] May Alasubanah, Howatalah open our doors. I hope we have clarified a lot.
[1:04:10] So Islam says all this is blasphemous. We rise above all of that,
[1:04:14] we say. Jesus was not God, nor was he the son of
[1:04:16] God, nor was he the father of e Trinity, nor was he crucified.
[1:04:19] He was an honored messenger born to Mary without a father, by the
[1:04:25] instruction of alasupanahwat Alah. The power of the Creator, who had before him
[1:04:30] already created Adam and Eve, and who had created every single one of us,
[1:04:33] The power of the same maker created Jesus and allowed him to speak from
[1:04:38] the cradle and clarified who he was, and gave him the Torah, and
[1:04:42] gave him the Bible and told him to teach the people. And later on
[1:04:45] he had so many miracles that were manifest with his hands that Allah had granted
[1:04:49] him permission to do and to show the people. Those who accepted were successful,
[1:04:54] and those who rejected had failed, and thereafter they planned to kill him.
[1:04:57] And when they planned to kill him, they were in confusion as to
[1:05:00] who exactly they crucified, because Allah took him away well before they could harm
[1:05:05] him. That in the natural is the life of Isi Salam. Nowa what
[1:05:12] Alas is on the day of judgment day is going to be a statement between
[1:05:16] Allah the Maker and between this messenger Jesus Alas is well. If karl a
[1:05:23] la hua in sabn amariam a tapulas itai o mia illa lla Alases, we
[1:05:35] will ask Jesus Christ, may peace be upon him on the day of judgment.
[1:05:40] And the past tense is used here because time is a creature of the
[1:05:44] Almighty. To him, past, present, future is all just nothing,
[1:05:47] is just a creature of his. It's as good as done. He has
[1:05:50] created time and put us into what we know as present tens. But for
[1:05:55] him the future is as good as past, and the past is as good
[1:05:57] as the present, and everything is just time. Time is a creature.
[1:06:00] All our brains are too small to understand that. We need to just know
[1:06:03] the statement. Time is a creature, and time is going to be killed.
[1:06:08] When it comes to the life after death, when no matter how many
[1:06:12] years we've lived for it will still be as though we have not lived,
[1:06:16] and we will not be living for anything but eternity. So we won't know
[1:06:21] when we started, and we won't know when it's ending, because it's not
[1:06:25] going to end because time is gone. You take time out of the equation.
[1:06:29] What happens to you? Akaba open our doors so Jesus may peace be
[1:06:34] upon him. Alas says, we will ask him, Oh, Jesus,
[1:06:38] did you tell the people to worship yourself and your mother besides the maker and
[1:06:43] the creator, besides me who made you? And Jesus is going to answer
[1:06:46] to allow suhana allah soubahanak maya konni and alcohola mala sali hel call glory be
[1:06:56] to you, oh my Maker, all high it. It is impossible for
[1:07:00] me to utter any word besides that which you instructed me to utter. I
[1:07:05] did not tell them that. I didn't tell them to worship myself, to
[1:07:10] worship my mother into kultu faka dalimta. Had I said it, or Allah,
[1:07:17] you would have known it. Lamomalphin see you know everything about me.
[1:07:23] You know what is hidden in me u la a Lamo Marphi sick. I
[1:07:27] do not have that knowledge which you possess Allah in na tamb you know the
[1:07:33] unseen completely. Then he continues to say, macultulaum in la ma amarltanibe.
[1:07:41] And yet lamb arm mancum, I only told them what you instructed to tell
[1:07:46] me to tell them, and that is worship Allah, who made me and
[1:07:50] who made you. Worship the one who made me and who made you.
[1:07:54] That is the one. You will call him the worshiped one. In the
[1:07:57] Hebrew language they use the term eloh or elo him to refer to Allah,
[1:08:02] which means the worshiped one. Sobhanah Lah. Then he says, I did
[1:08:11] not utter anything besides which you that which you told me to say to them,
[1:08:15] that worship Allah baku in nahoma ushnik mean naam ala. While now in
[1:08:27] another verse a loss of Hannah. Howatalyasis Jesus said, whoever associates partnership with
[1:08:31] the Maker will definitely end up in hell fire and will lose the heaven of
[1:08:39] Hanaha safe Goddess. Then he says, in to a given whom for in
[1:08:45] nahoman bado or Allah, if you want to punish them, they are your
[1:08:51] worshippers. You have that you own that Allah maid he can do what he
[1:08:56] wants. So he's saying, yeah, if you want to punish them,
[1:08:59] they are your worshippers. Well in taofi lahum for ina talazisun hakim. And
[1:09:08] if you want to forgive them, you Allah. If you forgive them,
[1:09:11] you are indeed all powerful. All wise, you know, Allah is the
[1:09:15] one whom he knows he can punish. But over and above that he still
[1:09:18] forgives Ala suhanahata Allah forgive us. We have another very very interesting verse of
[1:09:25] the Koran. Allah says Jesus may peace be upon him, warned his people
[1:09:30] and reminded them that Allah is going to send you a comforter to come.
[1:09:35] Allah will send you a man who will continue my message that you should worship
[1:09:41] Allah alone. You know, the laws of jurisprudence might differ, but the
[1:09:45] laws of belief have not differed from the time of Adam right to the end.
[1:09:50] The belief in the Almighty the Maker, the belief in the messengers,
[1:09:54] the belief in the books, the belief in the angels, the belief in
[1:09:57] good and badries from alas suhnah awata Allah, the belief in the Last Day
[1:10:00] and resurrection, all that, all the messengers came with exactly the same message.
[1:10:04] Ditto. But when it comes to the laws of jurisprudence, what is
[1:10:09] permissible, what is prohibited, how to pray, how not to pray,
[1:10:13] what to do what not to do? In terms of jurisprudence, that differed
[1:10:15] with the differing of time. And Muhammed Saselam came with that which encapsulated absolutely
[1:10:20] everything we need right up to the end of time. So alas is what
[1:10:26] if karlab mariya mabani israha when Isa remember he told his people, Jesus told
[1:10:32] his people, O, children of Israel, in nih rasoul on in inkum
[1:10:41] Turati, I am a messenger unto you, and I confirmed the message of
[1:10:45] the Torah that is between my hands Shira Pirasuni timing this move Ahmed, and
[1:10:56] I am giving you good news of a messenger who is going to come after
[1:11:00] me, whose name shall be the praise one Subhana lah alas is flam ja
[1:11:06] ahambil baa Sarmobin. When the clear signs came to them later on, they
[1:11:13] said, this is magic Alas Subhana hot Alah protect us and Grant's goodness.
[1:11:16] So Jesus made peace be upon him, warned his people and gave them glad
[1:11:23] tidings. At the same time of a messenger to come after. He was
[1:11:26] known as a comforter, and he was known as the bearer of praise,
[1:11:32] the praised one. You take a look at Mohammad is from the root of
[1:11:36] Ahmed Hamidah to praise. So he is the praised one. And he came
[1:11:43] with exactly the same message as what the Christians are supposed to be following.
[1:11:47] And this is why we tell them read the Quran without blinkers. Read the
[1:11:51] Koran and see the message in there, and take your time read it cover
[1:11:56] to cover. When Najashi, the Negus of Abyssinia was faced, some of
[1:12:00] the companions Jafarib Abtalib and the others, they went to him and they told
[1:12:04] him, we are coming from Macca. There is a man who has you
[1:12:08] know who is an Abei, and so on and so forth. So the
[1:12:11] Kufar of Foratia also decided to send the little delegation there. And Najashi on
[1:12:15] the Negus of Abyssinia, which is now roughly way Ethiopia is, he asks,
[1:12:19] He says, what do they say? Because these people said, you
[1:12:24] know you believe in Jesus. These people speak a very grave lie against Jesus.
[1:12:29] So he asked a question, what do you say about Jesus. So
[1:12:31] the sahaba of the Lahanum who were there at the time, jafaribn Abitali and
[1:12:35] the others recited this verse the opening verses of Solomariyam regarding Jesus. And everything
[1:12:41] I mentioned today, most of it is in those verses. So he started
[1:12:45] to cry. Who was crying? The king of Abyssinia, the Negus.
[1:12:49] According to some narrations, his name was Ashama, and he was crying.
[1:12:55] These tears are mentioned in the Koran. The tears are mentioned in the Quran.
[1:13:00] And he looked at these people. He says, this is the truth
[1:13:02] regarding Jesus. It's exactly who he was. He was a slave of Allah.
[1:13:06] He was the worshiper of Allah. He was not a God know was
[1:13:10] he part of God, nor was he a son of God. Amazing,
[1:13:13] and he believed it's reported when he passed away the prophets allallah Aah. He
[1:13:15] was Alam read Janaza al al'ib in his absence whilst in Madina Munawara and
[1:13:20] said, there is one of our brothers who has passed away today in the
[1:13:25] in Abyssinia, and we'd like to read janaza alasu Hahnahawa ta Alah grant has
[1:13:28] forgiveness. The last point we want to close with this evening. In Shamah
[1:13:32] Muhammad salah Ala, he was seldom towards the end of his life showed a
[1:13:39] lot of concern about something, so much so that one day he got up
[1:13:45] and very very strongly warned all of us, and you'll find us hadith in
[1:13:49] most books of hadith. He looks at his companions and he says, la
[1:13:55] toutrouni kama a ratin Nasa Rabana Mariam Huaila King Kulu Abdullah, he are Asuluhu.
[1:14:01] I fear for you. All my people, do not go beyond the
[1:14:04] limits with me. Just like the Christians, the devil got hold of them
[1:14:10] and they went beyond the limits with Jesus always referred to me as Abdullah.
[1:14:15] He are Asuluhu, the slave of Allah and his messenger. This is why
[1:14:20] we say lah ellaha in La Llah mohammadur rasulu Lah and we say salaalah aah
[1:14:26] alam ash had Allah elaha in La Llah Mohammadan abdu whu Arasulu. Where did
[1:14:32] we get that from? He said, always referred to me as abduhu Arasulu.
[1:14:38] So that you remember, I am not a God. I am not
[1:14:41] a part of God. I am not a part of eternity, and I
[1:14:44] am not someone who is going to be worshiped. Besides Alasu Anahuatlah, I
[1:14:48] am a slave of Allah, a messenger who has come to you. Be
[1:14:53] warned, do not raise my status higher than it actually is. It's already
[1:14:57] the highest. There were five messengers who are the highest. Who are they?
[1:15:00] Jesus Christ, may peace be upon him, the prophet Abraham, the
[1:15:03] prophet Moses, the prophet Noah, and the prophet Muhammad Salaalaha Alahi was Sellah.
[1:15:10] So it is important for us to know the level of these who were
[1:15:13] the greatest. Alas suhnahwat Ala makes mentioned, we know the top top of
[1:15:16] the ladder Muhammad Salah Alas. Thereafter Ibrahim Alai is Salam. Thereafter Musaleh is
[1:15:23] Salam. Then Isaleh Salam, and mohale is Salam. The last two.
[1:15:26] Allah knows what is the order, but we know the order of the top
[1:15:29] three. We ask Alas subhnahwat Alah to grant us every form of goodness alhamdulillah.
[1:15:32] With this we have completed some of the lessons of the stories of the
[1:15:38] Quran. I hope and I pray that we have had the most blessed Ramadan.
[1:15:42] The idea is to benefit even outside the month of Ramadan, and I
[1:15:45] want to seize this opportunity once again to thank Alas subhanah hawat Alah for granting
[1:15:49] us the thousands of brothers and sisters who have come on a daily basis alhamdriillah
[1:15:55] to listen to these beautiful words of the Koran. Remember, the power is
[1:15:59] the power of the message, not the power of the one delivering the message.
[1:16:01] We ask Alas subhanah ha howat Alah to make us channel our love and
[1:16:05] our sincerity to Him alone, and to grant us the sweetness of the Quran,
[1:16:11] the sweetness of Iman, the sweetness of it. Believe in Alas subhanah
[1:16:14] hawat Alah. We ask Allah to accept every droplet from us, because indeed
[1:16:19] it is with acceptance that we will receive goodness. If Allah rejects us,
[1:16:24] we will be losers. So maya las subhanah hawat Alah forgive us all.
[1:16:27] It has been one of the most blessed drama vin that I have ever spent,
[1:16:30] and I really want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart.
[1:16:32] And we ask Allah to grant us success in the Dunya as well as in
