[0:02] Bis mila hirohimni Rahim in the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the
[0:12] most merciful. Heard a lot below heard. Part Excellence presents lessons from the
[0:30] stories of the prophets by Mufti Ismail even Musa menk Ibrahim Ali his Salam and
[0:48] Ismail alihi Salam. Part three Abraham Peace be upon him and Ismail Peace be
[0:56] upon him. Part three Salamakatu. All praise is due to a loss of
[1:15] Hannah to Allah. Blessings and salutations upon Muhammad salalah a he was seldom We
[1:21] ask a loss of Hannah houa to Alah to bless him and all his companions,
[1:25] and to bless every single one of us, and to grant us goodness,
[1:29] beloved brothers and sisters. Once again, we ask a loss of Hannah
[1:32] to Alah to accept from us the sacrifice. And thinking about it, it's
[1:38] just one one and a half hour sacrifice maximum, with the transport coming and
[1:42] going a three hour sacrifice, and that is just for a month. If
[1:47] we are to do it on a regular basis. It is nowhere near the
[1:51] sacrifices of the messengers of a loss of Hannahua to Alah. But we still
[1:56] ask a loss of Hannah to Alah to accept it from us, and we
[2:00] ask alas of hanahuwat Alan never to let us be entrapped by chaiitlan where everyone
[2:06] else is engaged in his obedience and we are doing something else. May Allah
[2:09] never allow that to happen to us. We spoke about how Ibrahim Adah his
[2:14] Sola to a Salam, had left Egypt and returned to Palestine. We spoke
[2:23] about how a lasub hannahuata Alah had blessed Ibrahim ada his sala to a Salam
[2:29] in many ways. He had granted him sustenance. He had granted him live
[2:34] stock, He had granted him so much. He worked very hard in terms
[2:37] of business, and he had collected whatever he had together with the dawa he
[2:42] was engaged in. And when he found that people became jealous of him,
[2:46] he returned to Philostine to a sham. There he lived for many years,
[2:51] but a lasub hannahuata Alah decided not to bless him with offspring. He had
[2:55] no children until many years later when his wife Sarah made peace be upon her
[3:02] felt for him being such a good man who always made dua that ya Allah
[3:07] grant me off spring who will be pure, who will serve your cause,
[3:12] off Spring who will surrender to you just like I have. Off spring who
[3:17] will surrender to you just like I have. Remember, this dua of Ibrahim
[3:23] ale is Sala to a Salam was very powerful and he meant it. He
[3:27] did not just make a dua without actually meaning it. So his wife decided
[3:32] to give him the servant that she had had in marriage, and alas sub
[3:39] hanahuata Alah decided then to bless Ibrahim adah is Salah to a Salam with the
[3:45] child. After many years. It is reported he was eighty six years old
[3:50] when he was blessed with his mail adai Islam. Now, he never lost
[3:53] hope, and he knew that there is nothing to lose hope for in a
[4:00] verse of a loss of hanahawat Alah. Ibrahim ad salatua Salam says, mykna
[4:05] to miro ahmation be in al Kahomo. Who can ever lose hope in their
[4:18] own maker, besides those who are totally astray. So we can never lose
[4:24] hope in the mercy of a loss of hanahawat ala, and we shouldn't so.
[4:27] After a loss of Hanahawat Alah blessed him with a child. He was
[4:30] instructed after some time to take this wife of his and the child, meaning
[4:36] mother and child, and to move on the earth. Now there are several
[4:41] narrations making mention of what exactly happened and why he left. However, let's
[4:46] bear in mind that almost all of them have come to us from the people
[4:49] of the book. And the people of the book remember, because the Jews
[4:55] and the Christians are following messengers who are messengers of Islam. Yes, indeed,
[5:00] at some stage they they had been sent by Alas Subhanahwa to Alah.
[5:04] But because they rejected Muhammad saraalaho Ali, he was seldom They try their best
[5:11] to show that his lineage was not that grand stop for Mala safeguardess. So
[5:15] for this reason they start making mention of how the mother was hated and the
[5:19] child and so on. And Sarah, may peace be upon her, was
[5:23] fed up and tired of them, and she told Ibrahim Adeh Salam to take
[5:26] them and to go away. That we believe is an Israelili Dwaya, which
[5:30] means it has come to us from the people of the book. With us
[5:33] we firmly believe it was the instruction of Ala subhanahwa to Alah to take the
[5:38] child, to take the mother, and to continue until he got to a
[5:43] certain place which was completely barren. It had nothing on it. It was
[5:47] just soil, and it was a very very hot place. And alas subnah
[5:50] howat Alah describes it and that is the value of maka. When he got
[5:56] to maka to Mukarama Alas Subnahawa to Alah issued another instruction subhana allah Allah subhanahwat
[6:04] Ala told him leave this woman and the child and go go in order to
[6:10] worship us. We'd like you to leave. Ibrahim Ali is Salam was the
[6:14] one who surrenders. We all know that he was a Muslim. He always
[6:18] said, Aulu muslim in I want to be the first to surrender. Remember
[6:23] the term Muslim one who surrenders to the word of Allah subhannahwa to Adah.
[6:27] So if you surrender, you are a Muslim. So Ibrahim alai is Salah
[6:31] to was Salam decided to leave his wife and his child, and they hardly
[6:36] had much to eat. It is reported just a day or two of food
[6:40] and drink, and he started walking and his wife looks at him and she
[6:44] starts questioning him, where are you going? What's happening? He didn't answer,
[6:48] He just carried on. Then she decided, there's only one thing that
[6:51] can be happening here. It can only be an instruction of Allah subhanahawa to
[6:56] Alah. So she says, Ahah, Amara Kabihad, is it Allah who
[7:01] has instructed you to do this? That is when he said yes, and
[7:05] he continued. At that moment, she also surrendered, and she decided not
[7:13] to question further. And she knew for a fact that Allah was going to
[7:16] look after them now. As he left, he began to make Doah,
[7:23] asking Allah, Yeah, Allah, I left for your sake. You instructed
[7:27] me, You told me to do things. Remember one thing, my beloved
[7:29] brothers and sisters. The instructions that were given to Ibrahim aleihi Salam, a
[7:35] lot of them to him. At that point, the only thing that mattered
[7:40] was the source where it came from. Whether it made sense or not was
[7:45] not up to him, meaning he did not bother if it didn't make sense
[7:48] it made sense. That was another issue. The fact that it came from
[7:53] the source itself, from Allah. That was enough for him to surrender.
[7:57] This is the quality of Ibrahim Adai is Salam, and this is what resulted
[8:01] in him being known. Later on, Allah says, what ta the Llah
[8:05] who Ibraramifania Allah has taken Ibrahim as a very close friend. Khalil is a
[8:13] friend. He became a friend of Allah because no matter what Allah said,
[8:18] even if it did not make sense to him, he surrendered to it because
[8:22] he knew where it came from. With us, we have instructions, they
[8:28] make sense to us. We know this is a prohibition, we know this
[8:31] is a command. We still find ourselves questioning why this, why that,
[8:35] and so on. When whereas when the instruction comes from alas sub hannahwat Allah,
[8:39] we should also be from those who surrender. So as he went,
[8:45] he says rabana in ask to me the reitibi wading, why is urd mo
[9:00] harm or Allah? I have left there behind some of my family in that
[9:09] valley close to the Sacred Home. Now it is reported that the Sacred House
[9:15] when was he built? He is either speaking about something that was going to
[9:18] be built, or he is speaking about something that used to be there a
[9:22] long long time ago, because some narrations say that it was built firstly by
[9:28] Adam Alaihi Salahu was Salam. But we have no confirmed evidence in that regard.
[9:33] What we do know it was built by Ibrahim alahis Salam and his son
[9:37] is Smiled alihis Salam. Whether it was there and destroyed later on by the
[9:41] floods what not. Only alanos. However, he is making mention of something.
[9:46] Allah had instructed him to go and leave them there, So he is
[9:50] using the same words to describe the place. So he says, robanalio chimu
[9:56] sala or Allah, I have left them there in order to go and fulfill
[10:03] an act of worship for your sake the Salah, I am going to fulfill
[10:07] prayers for you, or in order to go out and call you, to
[10:11] call out to you. Allah had given him a time and the place,
[10:15] and Allah suhanawat Alah instructed him to leave. So he left and he continued.
[10:20] Then what did he say? He says, fagile a danaminanasta hue in
[10:31] naimehm war ozokouthamara ti la alash. He says, therefore, o Allah,
[10:43] let the hearts of the people incline towards that valley. Let the hearts of
[10:48] the people incline towards that place and grant them produce in abundance so that they
[10:54] may be thankful. At that time, there was still no one there.
[11:00] Nothing had happened there. And I want to take it all the way to
[11:03] this day and age. As we are speaking, if we think, Mashallah,
[11:07] this maschid has a few thousand people in it and is choking. Do
[11:11] you know that right now at that spot where the mother and child were left,
[11:18] my heart and your heart is also there. Do you agree, subhana
[11:24] la, that's the dua of Ibrahim made is Salam. And there even if
[11:28] we used the colloquial term choco block or allahi, it is not enough to
[11:33] describe how choking it may be there, lahu akaba, how fool it is.
[11:37] And as we know, they are extending and extending and extending, and
[11:43] no matter how much they extend, it will never be enough. Subhanalah,
[11:50] this is a dua of Ibrahim Madai is Salam. When Allah gives, he
[11:54] grants it completely. He said, oh, lah, let the hearts of
[11:56] the people incline towards that place, and anyone say, our heart does not
[12:01] incline to mecca. If we had it our way, we would all be
[12:05] there right now, Subhana la alas subhanahwat Alah, take us there again and
[12:09] again. Then he says, oh, grant and produce from the very beginning.
[12:15] The produce in Mecca is amazing. It comes from all over and it
[12:20] is there, and people eat and people drink, and people share, and
[12:22] people from different parts of the globe bring different produce and they buy and they
[12:26] sell. You want the best bananas and apples to this day, you will
[12:31] get the best of them there in Macca to muka rama, So do a
[12:33] of ibraim mal sala to a salam. Anyway, as he made a dua,
[12:39] he continues and alas subhanahwat Alah makes mention. Now obviously in the history
[12:46] we find the story of what happened there with his smile adihsala to a salam.
[12:50] A little baby. He was breastfed for a while, and then the
[12:54] food ran out and everything dried up. Subhan and law and the mother is
[13:00] looking at the child and she says, no, I must make an effort
[13:03] to try and look for some food. So she decided to go up the
[13:05] hillock the mount Safa. She went up the mountain and she's looking is there
[13:13] any sign, no sign, no life, no movement, no nothing.
[13:18] So she came down, making doa to Allah. And when she gets to
[13:22] the bottom, she's running. Why is she running at the bottom because she
[13:24] wants to get to the top of the other mount on the other side,
[13:28] and she doesn't want to miss anyone who might pass while she's at the bottom,
[13:31] So she runs at a specific place and then she climbs up. She
[13:35] is in Marwa. She makes dua again for sustenance, Yallah, send us
[13:37] some goodness. Yallah, you are the one we know you will not let
[13:41] us down. And a couple of times she ran up and down and down
[13:46] and up laho akaba, making doah, looking checking. Then she heard a
[13:54] sound and she's looking, what sound is this? And she came down and
[14:01] she looked at where the child was and there was a spring of water gushing
[14:05] from nowhere. Shuhanama, a spring of water gushing from nowhere. She looked
[14:11] at it, and she thanked a loss of Hannah. Howata Allah. She
[14:13] thanked a loss of Hannah. Howat Alah. She sat down and she wanted
[14:16] to gather the water. So she created a basin like structure, small little
[14:24] basin like structure with her hands with the muddy sand clay that now became like
[14:31] clay and mud because it was wet, and she began to say in the
[14:35] language zum zum, zum zum. It means stop, stop, stop,
[14:39] because we want to now take you and drink you, so you stop.
[14:43] To this day, we have this water known as zam Zam from the same
[14:48] well, and for your information, it is gushing at this moment. It
[14:54] is gushing at this moment thousands of gallons per hour, and millions of people
[15:01] across the globe drink from it. Every single one of us know exactly what
[15:07] we're talking about. And for your information, there is only one historic narration
[15:13] as to the history of that well. There's no dispute about it. Nothing.
[15:18] Nobody has ever come up with another version regarding the well of Zamzam.
[15:22] So that is confirmed evidence according to history that it is a well of Zamzam
[15:28] from that particular time of Hajjab and Ismail Adihisala to usseler amazing. Now from
[15:35] this we learn that in life some of us Allah has kept us on a
[15:39] level slightly lower. Never lose hope in Allah, make dua that Allah grant
[15:43] you sustenance that will be good for you, sustenance that will be enough for
[15:48] you. But together with that, there is no point in just making a
[15:52] dua and sitting at home relaxing, thinking the ceiling is going to crack and
[15:56] gold is going to start falling. If anything, you hear rat in the
[15:58] ceiling akabar. Yes, we need to learn from this that an effort is
[16:04] required, and you need to make that effort. Hajjar ala hasarat a salam.
[16:10] Do you know what she did? She climbed up and she hunted,
[16:12] She made duah, She went down, she went back there she made douah.
[16:17] When we go for hajj, we are to repeat this in order to
[16:21] appreciate the gifts of a loss of Hanahuatala upon us. So that is the
[16:26] story of Zamzam. And this is one of the most interesting stories of the
[16:30] water that has gushed from that particular place. The story of Zamzam. It
[16:34] still continues. After some time the birds began to come. When the birds
[16:40] began to come, and they were drinking from there, in the middle of
[16:44] the desert, the middle of the desert, no life was there, and
[16:48] caravans used to pass, and you know, in the heat of the moment,
[16:52] they're looking for birds. Why are they looking for birds? Not to
[16:55] hunt the birds, But wherever you see a bird, you know there's some
[16:57] water nearby. So the clan of Jorhome was passing from that area and they
[17:04] noticed some birds in the middle of nowhere. They were not expecting them.
[17:08] So they decided to check up on what is happening, and they sent someone
[17:14] go and see where these birds are flying to. So the birds had gone
[17:17] and they were sitting around this well and the water was gushing. They were
[17:21] drinking, and this messenger finds a woman with a little baby. So he
[17:26] went back to his people, the people of Jorom the caravan, and he
[17:29] explained to them. They were very very amazed. They came. They knew
[17:33] this is a miracle. So they asked the woman, do you mind if
[17:37] we live here? Why? Because there's water running from here, it's gushing.
[17:41] That doesn't happen in that particular desert. It doesn't happen water gushing from
[17:47] underneath. So when they asked her the question, she looked at them and
[17:52] responded very very beautifully. Firstly, look at how honest they were. They
[17:56] were good people. If it was someone else, they would have just flicked
[17:59] the two of them off. In that they would have killed them and took
[18:02] taken the water because there's only two in the desert. Or they would have
[18:07] come and enslaved them and captured them and taken the water. But no,
[18:11] they asked the female. They asked her, look, can we come and
[18:15] stay here? Because they understood it's a miracle. So from that she realized
[18:18] these people have good character. They are disciplined people, they are cultured.
[18:23] So she said, look, you can come and stay here on condition that
[18:26] this water belongs to us, not to you. We will allow you to
[18:30] drink from it, but it's our property, not yours, so you can
[18:33] drink and benefit. But subhan allah, it is not yours. To this
[18:38] day, zamzam is not sold. To this day belongs to us. All
[18:45] we can drink from it because that zamzam is for the Umah of Muhammad Salaha
[18:49] alahi was seldom we drink from it mashallah. Normally, when they charge you,
[18:53] they are charging you for the the can Alla subhanah at Alah. Grant
[18:59] us the cans that are well priced, because sometimes that can is ridiculously priced.
[19:07] So they stayed there. They were very happy and they loved the little
[19:11] child. They loved the child. And as the child grew they taught him
[19:15] Arabic. They were pure Arabs. They taught him Arabic. They taught him
[19:19] manners and so on. And as he grew up, his father used to
[19:22] come and go. His father Ibrahim Aleah his salah to was Salam. When
[19:27] he came back. At one stage he'd seen Marcia love this is the setup,
[19:30] and he was quite happy with it. And he used to come and
[19:33] he used to go. And thereafter one day alass of hannahwat Alam ex mention
[19:37] of something that happened as Ibrahim Adai is Salam came into Mecca and he was
[19:44] lying down. He had a dream and he related the dream to his son.
[19:48] The following day, he took his son aside and he tells his son
[19:52] Laho akabar alas of Hannah howat Alam ex mention of this in the Polan Lama
[20:02] Sail Calaya in a of in Manami and At Baker found when his son was
[20:18] old enough, and he used to walk with him, and he used to
[20:19] travel with him and come back with him, and so on. He told
[20:22] his son he says, oh, my son, I have been instructed in
[20:26] a dream by a loss of Hannah Ala to sacrifice you. So what do
[20:32] you think I should do? Callabattifalma sni alarm in a sabi, he says,
[20:48] oh my son, oh my father, do as alast commanded you.
[20:53] Do as a list commanded you. You will find me from amongst those who
[20:56] are patient. Don't worry now that dua of his he made a dua to
[21:03] a las suprana, howat alai Allah, make my children from amongst those who
[21:07] submit to you, just like I have, and I do. Look at
[21:11] the child. Immediately he surrendered. It did not take him a split second
[21:17] to think. He says, oh, my father, do as you've been
[21:22] instructed. You will find me from amongst the patients. Allahu akbar Phlama aslamatlahunin
[21:33] jeb Alassis. The two of them surrendered to the instruction. Just to mention
[21:38] very briefly as to what happened. He took a smile adah his salam,
[21:41] and they were going, and he had taken his knife and he had sharpened
[21:47] it very well with the instruction of alas Supannah. Howatala I told you he
[21:51] surrendered to that which did not make sense to him, but he knew that
[21:56] it came from Alas Supannah Hotel. He never asked Allah, why did you
[21:59] say this? When he was told to do this, he did that.
[22:02] When he was told to leave his family, he left them. When he
[22:03] was told to sacrifice, he was ready, and the son was also ready,
[22:10] and the child decided to go. One narration says that he says,
[22:14] don't tell my mother yet, leave her alone. Let us continue to sort
[22:18] this matter out, and then we see and they went in. And it
[22:22] is reported that Chaipan came to Ibrahim ali Salam on three occasions, trying to
[22:29] divert him, to make him think, trying to shake his heart to say,
[22:34] this is the pure perfect heart. But what do you think you're doing
[22:37] here? This was the ultimate test, No Nabi, no human being has
[22:45] ever been tested with a similar test by Ala Subanahuate'alah to sacrifice the one and
[22:52] only child that they had eighty six years later. Nobody, but he knew
[23:03] when it comes to the instruction of Allah, my child comes second. Allah
[23:07] comes first, My beloved brothers and sisters. I want to pause there for
[23:10] a moment in our lives. We have our children, we are happy.
[23:14] Firstly, for those who don't have children, we make douah. Ibrahim Adahi
[23:17] Salam says, never lose hope in the mercy of the most merciful. Those
[23:22] who lose hope in his mercy, they are astray. They are astray.
[23:26] They don't know him, they don't understand his plan. Sometimes Allah is saving
[23:30] you from something great by not giving you something you think is good for you.
[23:33] He knows it's not good for you. And sometimes he wants you to
[23:37] remain in the condition of dou ah, so he doesn't give you something so
[23:41] you continue making dua. So in this case we need to learn a lesson
[23:45] Number two, those of us who do have children. Whenever we use the
[23:49] word love with our children, we should remember love does not mean give them
[23:55] whatever they want, even in the disobedience of Allah. Sob Hannah to Allah.
[23:59] No, when it comes to the instruction of Allah that comes first.
[24:03] We will make sure we discipline our children according to what pleases a loss of
[24:07] Hannah. Howatala. We will make sure we communicate with them correctly. We
[24:11] will make sure that our children are brought up in a manner that between us
[24:15] and Allah, they are not allowed to come in the middle. No,
[24:19] it's a law first then everyone else, and it's not difficult to do that.
[24:25] We only need discipline and we need the ability to surrender to a loss
[24:29] of Hannah Houatala. And for your information, Allah did not instruct us to
[24:32] sacrifice our children. No alass of Hanna Huwatala instructs us to bring them up
[24:37] in a correct manner. Then when they went he pelted Chaipan. This is
[24:42] why now we have to go for this pilgrimage for the Hajj every year,
[24:47] or should I say every year? There is a hatch we go once in
[24:49] a lifetime. But we reenact this in that we are pelting or we are
[24:56] throwing pebbles in similar places as did Brahim alaih is Salah to a Salam.
[25:02] The difference is the devil is not there, but we are removing the devil
[25:07] from within. With every pebble goes one major bad quality of ours. So
[25:14] if we have pelted forty seven or forty nine pebbles by the end of three
[25:18] days, we should have removed forty nine little devils from us bad habits which
[25:23] have displeased the loss of Hanahua to Allah and leave them there in Minna.
[25:27] So when we come back, we come back clean pure. This is what
[25:30] we are meant to be achieving. So Ibrahim alaih is sala to a Salam.
[25:36] He defied the chipan and he continued romanly Chipan against whatever Chipan wanted.
[25:42] And a loss of Hannahoa to Alah says when he had put his child down,
[25:51] and he decided to put the child on the side in such a way
[25:55] that he wouldn't meet the eyes of his child and he wouldn't be me to
[26:00] the blood of the child. Alas Suhannah howat Ala speaks of how he replaced
[26:06] the child with a ram from Juna. Alas says, what a dina hob
[26:11] Now. Firstly, Alas says, Juana Dinah I Iberrah Gordon, so do
[26:25] yuh loaho akaba. We replaced him with a ram from paradise. And Ibrahim
[26:33] Saddam slortered a sacrifice that ram from paradise. And he looked and he'd seen
[26:38] this is a ram. And Alas Suhannah how Alah called out, oh Ibrahim,
[26:45] you are indeed truthful to us. We have tested you and you have
[26:48] passed the test. Now you can ask what you want, it's all yours.
[26:55] Loveho akabar, love who akabar. This was the ultimate test, and
[26:59] the part asking of the test was not only for the father, but even
[27:03] for the child. Now there are people of the previous scriptures who say that
[27:07] the sacrifice was his hat or Isaac, and it was not Ismaim. His
[27:12] heart was not even born at the time. He was not yet there at
[27:17] the time. And this happened in makatul Ukaralama. So there is no point
[27:21] to dispute that. Historically, it is proven through history that is hat aither
[27:26] isaalah to a Salam was not there because after that alasa is in the Quran.
[27:30] Once Allah called out to him and told him that we have replaced this
[27:37] with a sacrificial ram from Jana then Alas's and we gave him good news of
[27:44] another child known as his heart, who will come to him. So this
[27:48] was another child. So Alasu hanahwat alamis mentioned of this beautiful story in the
[27:55] Quran, and we've heard it alas Is in Ahlah al bala ulmovie. Indeed,
[28:03] this is a very very clear manifest test of a loss of Hannah howat
[28:08] Ala. It's a clear test from a loss of Hannah, howat Ala and
[28:12] a loss of Hannah. Howat alas is we have granted him good news of
[28:17] another child, and analyass is in Kadalika and Ajsi Sini. This is how
[28:25] we recompense those who do good. So anyone who does good, they bear
[28:29] patience, they surrender to the command of Allah. At some point, a
[28:33] loss of Hannah Howatala will open their doors in a way that they would never
[28:37] ever have understood. Now it's my isla to a Salam was growing in Makatu
[28:42] Mukarama in the obedience of a loss of Hannah, Howatala and the two of
[28:47] them, a loss of Hannah. Howatala makes mention of how they built al
[28:51] Kada. They built al Kaba Alas is what I him. Mulka Dam and
[28:59] al Bahinti is married. And remember the time when Isma'il and Ibrahim Ahim as
[29:04] Salam built the Kaaba. They lifted its walls and they brought it up in
[29:11] an amazing way. They were making Ada to Allah subanah to Alah. As
[29:17] they were doing this, what was the dua rabbanata kabbal in in aka.
[29:25] Does Sami Alim or Allah accept this from us or Allah, we are putting
[29:30] up a house for you. Because Irahi ad is Salam saw his son one
[29:33] day sharpening his arrows. One as he was sitting and he says, oh,
[29:37] my son, come here. Allah has instructed me to build a house.
[29:40] He says, Dad, I'm with you, or my father, I'm
[29:41] with you. Let's go we build it. Imagine look at it. No
[29:45] questions asked today when we tell our children, come, we want something to
[29:48] say. Ah see you know, they say, oh, my son,
[29:51] get me this. He says, Dad, get it yourself. Didn't Allah
[29:55] give you hands? Also, it's a typical answer of the children of today.
[30:00] Most probably is because when our parents asked us, we also might have
[30:03] passed a few derogatory or negative comments. A loss of Hannah houa tala grant
[30:07] us all offspring, who will be the coolness of our eyes? So we
[30:12] have something to learn from this. So as they began to build it,
[30:15] it got a little bit high. When it was a little bit high,
[30:18] what happened Ibrahim alea Salah to a Salam was getting the bricks or the rocks
[30:25] from his smile alaih is Salam. There was no mortar used, no cement.
[30:27] It was just rock on rock on rock on rock. Each one was
[30:30] fitting into the other like a jigsaw, similar to what we spoke about when
[30:34] Nuh built the ark Noah, may peace be upon him. So what happened
[30:38] as they're putting it up? Now it's getting a bit high? So Alas
[30:41] sub Hanahuatlam miraculously caused a specific rock that he was standing on to go slightly
[30:48] higher, and he placed it, then it would come slightly lower. He
[30:52] would get the other, the next one, then it would go slightly higher.
[30:55] He would place it, then it would come low. They knew that
[30:59] this is a lot. It is the house of Allah. He has shown
[31:02] us one too many times that definitely he's with us. That is the power
[31:07] of Allah. So hanahuat Aana. And when the house was built, there
[31:11] was a corner. Ibrahim alai Salam thought to himself, I want to put
[31:15] a proper rock in this corner that fits flush in the corner. And he
[31:21] was trying to look for a rock and asking is Smaile alai Salam, let's
[31:23] put this rock, and Smail adai Salam is looking for something, but he
[31:26] couldn't find it. And later on smailadi is Salam came back and he's seen
[31:30] a beautiful rock there. He says, what's this? He says, Allah
[31:33] sent me a rock from Jenna, from paradise. This rock has come and
[31:40] this is what we call today al jajaral a sword. It is reported in
[31:45] one narration, one narration, that that rock at the beginning was of a
[31:48] different color. It was white, but because of the sins of people,
[31:52] as it sucks it out, so to speak, it changed color and became
[31:56] black. However, we know it as a haja us what we know it
[32:00] as the blackstone. From the beginning, we know it as the blackstone,
[32:04] and it was placed there. So that was another a miracle. Now do
[32:07] you want to hear the third miracle? When they were completed, they were
[32:12] making a do our robbanawajala musni Maimi, like, oh Allah, make both
[32:19] of us surrenderers to you. That is what they were interested in. Oh
[32:22] Allah, make both of us surrenderers to your command at all times. And
[32:28] not only should it stop there war I mean in m Muslim attalak and o
[32:37] Allah from our progeny, also make them those who surrender to you. So
[32:42] he is making to our for himself, for his son and for his generations
[32:46] to come, my beloved brothers and sisters. When we make do our,
[32:50] sometimes we are so selfish in it. We make do our for ourselves.
[32:53] Y Allah, give me, give me, give me, give me,
[32:55] give me. I want, I want, I want. We forget our
[32:59] children, we forget our offspring, and we forget those who are going to
[33:02] be from our lineage. If Allah wills up to the day of Kayama alas
[33:08] supannah Hawatalah, grant them our children and our lineage who will be there at
[33:14] the time when is aih Salam Jesus made peace be upon him returns on to
[33:17] this earth. May they be from amongst those who are with him, and
[33:21] not from amongst those who are against him. That is how far we should
[33:25] be going. So we ask alas Upanah Hawatala. Similarly, another thing we
[33:30] make to add ya Allah, grant my child's steadfastness, but we are not
[33:34] steadfast. There was a difference here. Ibrahim alai Salam was steadfast. He
[33:39] was obeying Anlas's command, an instruction. And then he says, oh Allah,
[33:44] we have surrendered to you. Make us still further surrenderers to your command
[33:50] and from our children. Make them all those who can surrender to your command.
[33:54] So Alas Suphanah Hawatalah granted him this wish. And Alas Supanah Howatala has
[34:00] given him. All the messengers who came after him were from his family.
[34:05] They were all from his family. Alas is tala iberra him a kalimati alass
[34:17] And remember when Allah tested Ibrahim with so many tests with words, so many
[34:22] different tests all tested him with so he completed and passed all all of them.
[34:28] Alases karla ini ja u khalina si imama. Alas is oh Ibrahim,
[34:36] we are making you a leader for mankind. We are making you a leader
[34:40] for mankind. This evening we heard powerful verses, powerful verses. We Alas
[34:47] sum Hannahlah says to Mohammad Sala, he was seldom. We want to you,
[34:54] oh Mohammad sala he was seldom to follow the footsteps of your four fi
[35:00] Ibrahim when it comes to the clarity of worship and to abstention from polytheism.
[35:05] Ala Subannah hawata Ala Grant's goodness. So as he's making this dua, allies
[35:13] granting him, and he's making more dua and allies granting him. And suddenly
[35:15] the rock he was standing on it softened for a moment, just for a
[35:21] moment, and his footprint was left on the rock. And alas Subhana huata
[35:27] Alah speaks about that footprint in the puran Alas is anybody who goes to Macca,
[35:34] what tahidu mim makami ibraim mos la where the footsteps of Ibrahim are literally
[35:42] the physical footsteps you need to fulfill Salah for the sake of Allah at that
[35:46] point some way closely. So to this day mashallah, what have they done
[35:52] in order to preserve it. They've covered it up so it is protected from
[35:57] erosion and so on, and they have placed metal covering on it, and
[36:04] it is known as Makam Ibrahim, the footsteps of Ibrahim ale issala to a
[36:07] Salam. If you look into the glass box, you will notice two feet
[36:12] and that is the imprint of the feet of Ibrahim adah issala to was Salam.
[36:15] To this day it is there. It was right with the kaba Omar
[36:21] Alahan who moved it slightly further back, and it's sitting at that position up
[36:23] to today. Although once when the floods had come, it went quite a
[36:28] distance and then the people brought it back, but it is there to this
[36:30] particular day. So these are miracles, these are signs of Ibrahim adeh Is
[36:35] Sala to was Salam. The non Muslims see us going for Hajj and the
[36:39] pilgrimage, they don't know what we are doing. We are re enacting what
[36:44] Ibrahim adh Is Salam did and what Muhammad Salalahu Adeh Asalam followed because he was
[36:50] instructed to do the same. So not only are there physical footsteps of Ibrahim,
[36:55] but even the spiritual footsteps we are meant to be very very close by.
[37:00] That is also the essence of Makam Ibrahim, the footsteps literally as well
[37:06] as spiritually. So we ask alas of Hannah hawat Ala that whenever we go
[37:10] to Makatukarama we fulfill the Omara. We should be understanding and thinking of what
[37:15] the sacrifice of Ibrahim ah his Salam was Hajar Alala Salam is Mala Salam and
[37:22] all these ambia the Ambia Alasu Hannah hawat Ala who came after the sacrifice of
[37:27] Muhammed was Selam as well, who was the final messenger. Then Alasu hanahwat
[37:31] alas is in Aula baiting and in sin aladibibabarakan Alam Fihi Ayad Bayina to Makam
[37:46] Iberra. The second time all is making mention of Makami Ibrahim alas is indeed.
[37:54] The first house to be built for the sake of Allah is that one
[37:59] in bak bakameaning in Macca, which we have blessed its surroundings, and they
[38:05] are blessed surroundings and clear cut signs. Around there. There is the well
[38:09] of Zamzam, there is Minna, there is the pelting of the jamara where
[38:14] the chaipan was, and so on. And at the same time there is
[38:17] the footprint fihi ayatumbayanat clear cut signs. The house is there itself Macamo Ibrahim,
[38:23] that footstep of Ibrahim ale is Salam the prophet Abraham, may peace be
[38:27] upon him, is definitely indeed there for your information. Again, historically,
[38:34] there is no dispute within the historians of that particular region as to where these
[38:40] things came about from. No dispute. Now, when there is no dispute
[38:45] from those who dwell there, then that means it is solid and it is
[38:49] authenticat aalah grant us a deep understanding This is why when Ibrahim ale his salat
[38:55] a Salam was tested by Allah. Look what Alas is is Cala lahu is
[39:02] Karla lahulabo Aslam, Cala Aslam to Nera bla LAMI. Whenever Allah told him,
[39:12] oh Ibrahim, surrender, he said, I surrender to the Lord of
[39:14] the worlds. Whenever Allah told him to surrender, he surrendered without betting an
[39:20] eyelid as we would say. So Alas Hannah Alas is thereafter Wambu Almilati,
[39:29] Ibrahim in Lam, Safi Hanavsa, Whila Cardiostafina huffin Duniya. Who can turn
[39:38] away from the Abrahamic religion besides the one who is himself so foolish. Only
[39:45] a fool can turn away from the religion of Ibrahim Adela to Slam. That
[39:52] is what Alas says. Alas is, we chose him in the Dunya,
[39:55] and even in the Ahara we have written his name from amongst the pie.
[40:00] So this is a lot sup Hannah Hawatala's gift that we have. Then we
[40:06] have a very interesting story where Alas Supanah Hawatala makes mention of whenney Brahim ade
[40:12] Islam went back to his wife Sarah, the other wife that he had had.
[40:15] And he was a very very very generous person. Ebrahim ad is Salam.
[40:21] So there came a time when some visitors visited him and he didn't know
[40:28] them. Three people came in, good looking people. When they came in,
[40:31] he asked his wife, do you know them? No, we don't,
[40:34] okay. He looks at them, and he wanted to serve them something.
[40:39] So he went back into the house and he asked his wife, is
[40:42] there anything to eat? She says, well, we've got a little bit
[40:45] of meat here. He says, no, let's slaughter a calf, a
[40:49] nice fat calf. We find at the back there a whole cow, meaning
[40:52] a baby cow is known as a calf. So he says, let's slaughter
[40:55] the calf. He slaughtered it, and he ordered his servants to coo kittens
[41:00] on the spit properly, and they brought the whole calf for how many people?
[41:05] Three people? There were just three of them. Look at how hospitable
[41:08] he was. He wanted to give these people food. So he brought this
[41:14] and Alas Suhanahtala makes mention of this. Wat ibarra him Abil Carlo Salama Karla
[41:22] salama malabija abian agian in honey. When these people came, he greeted them
[41:31] with salam. They responded with the salam. In a short while, he
[41:35] came with a whole calf. He put it forward palamara idea um la,
[41:43] so you know in in akira jasamin hum carlu la huff. When he saw
[41:49] these people are not eating, I came with a calf. It's cooked so
[41:52] well, it's the top meal mashallah. I want to honor my guests.
[41:55] I don't even know them, and here they are, they're not eating.
[41:59] So he started eating a little bit in order to try and encourage them.
[42:01] But he'd seen these people are not eating, and he began to tremble in
[42:05] a bit of fear, not to say that I'm scared, you know,
[42:07] of these people doing something to me. But what's wrong with these people?
[42:10] Are these actually people? He sends something amiss, something was wrong. So
[42:17] immediately he told them, hey, you know what, I'm starting to get
[42:20] a doubt. Who are you here? You know what's happening here? I've
[42:24] got this feeling within me. So they said la taa in almost in nahla,
[42:31] tell me don't fear, Ibrahim, we are not human beings. We
[42:37] are angels. Don't fear Ibrahim. We are not human beings. We are
[42:42] angels. Allah sent us with two missions to come to you, to give
[42:46] you some news, and to go and destroy the people of Luke. Now
[42:52] remember a few yesterday we made mention of lorth aleih is Salam. He's the
[42:54] nephew of Ibrahim and Ibrahim ade Islam told him to stay in a certain place
[42:59] known as Sadom Sodom, and he was doing. His dad were there.
[43:04] We will get to that in Charles as soon as we complete this story.
[43:07] But they said, we have come to destroy the people of Lut. So
[43:10] his wife heard. When she heard, she started laughing. Wamrau call iima
[43:19] to Fadakat. His wife was standing. She heard the news, and she
[43:25] laughed a little bit, laughed in the sense that finally something is being done
[43:29] about the people of Lut. They were engaged in their own sin. Mellah
[43:34] protect us in our offspring. So Alas says, when she laughed, they
[43:39] gave her news. They told her Alas is faba shar naha he is ha
[43:46] ora is hal hire cooed. We gave her good news that you are expecting
[43:53] a child. Remember she could not conceive, and now they were given news.
[44:00] So Allah sent three angels and they went to Ibrahim Alai Salam, and
[44:05] after that they were on their way to loot. So they gave the information
[44:08] the news to to Sarah and to Ibrahim Alahim a Salam that look, she
[44:14] is now expecting and she is bearing a child who will be called is hark
[44:19] and after that he will also have more offspring. So that is a du
[44:22] Allah sent angels to personally tell Ibrahim alai is Salam that you may do our
[44:29] for offspring. Here they are as pure as can be. So hannaha.
[44:37] Then Ibrahim alai is Salam. Once his fear was gone, he was more
[44:40] worried about Luth alas Subhanahmatala, says Jabuschama. Once the good news came to
[44:52] him, Phalam mada and ibarra Hima, you jamo in Iberraim alahalimunahum money.
[45:10] We gave him good news. When he his fear was gone, he started
[45:15] debating with us about Lut and the people of Luth like he is saying,
[45:20] look, maybe they will still turn. Because remember up to that point he
[45:24] had not asked for anyone to be punished, Ibrahim Adhala, he hadn't ever
[45:29] asked for anyone to be punished as such, or for our nation to be
[45:31] destroyed. He continued making dua for them, and that was also one of
[45:36] his characteristics. He continued praying for them. So he was debating. He
[45:40] was saying, look, but you're going to loot, why don't you give
[45:43] them a bit of time? And you know what, there's a man in
[45:45] there. If you're going to destroy all of them, lout is from amongst
[45:49] them, don't you know that? So they said, look, yeah,
[45:54] Ibrahim, aribanhada inhuja Ah, I'm rob bink were in nahumah tim add or
[46:06] Ibrahim, let's not talk about that. You just turn away from that discussion
[46:10] because it is the instruction of Allah that they will be destroyed and that punishment
[46:16] will come and it is not going to be reversed. Done. So,
[46:22] he was reassured that Luth would be saved, and he was reassured that the
[46:28] people who had believed would be saved, and we will come in charlah to
[46:32] who exactly they were. And then he had bidded farewell to these particular angels
[46:39] and they left in their own way. From this we learned that is Hawk
[46:44] alaihisala to a Salam was born after the issue of the sacrifice and the incident
[46:49] of the sacrifice, and he was born as a gift to to Ibrahim alala
[46:53] to a Salam. From Alas suhnahuatlah and Ishallah, we will get to the
[46:57] lives of the other prophets who are from the family of Ibrahim a Sola to
[47:00] Slam as the days go by. Until then Osla who was seldom a Mohammed
[47:06] subhanah Loah Hamdi Subhana Calahoma had in anton Kana Tol
