[0:02] This is Mila rahmani Rahim in the name of Allah, the most Gracious,
[0:12] the most merciful, heard low excellence, presents lessons from the stories of the
[0:31] prophets by Mufti Ismail. Even Mussa men blut his snam lot peace be upon
[0:49] him. Mira was Alallah who was alab staff Awabad. All praise is due
[1:03] to a lass sub hannah huwaatea Ailah. Blessings and salutations upon Muhammad salalahu Ali.
[1:07] He was seldom. We ask alass sub Hannah huwate alah to bless him
[1:11] and all his companions, to grant them all goodness, and to grant us
[1:15] goodness as well, in this world as well as in the next. And
[1:18] we ask a lass sub Hannah huwa t alah to make us from those who
[1:21] are saved from the punishment of hellfire. This evening we read some very very
[1:27] touching verses. We are las sub Hannah huwaate ala makes mention of the condition
[1:32] of the wrong doers and the sinners. When death comes to them, they
[1:34] will tell the angels of death to give them another chance, or they will
[1:40] tell a lass sub hannahuatailah to give them another chance. Because they will say,
[1:44] now we understand, and now we have seen. And alas sub Hannah
[1:48] huwat Alah says kala in aha kalimah tun huaka inua wami ah babzahn in aaoni
[2:05] ouba nay. Indeed, it is only a statement that they are uttering.
[2:12] They will not be granted another chance. And even if they were granted another
[2:15] chance, they would repeat the same deeds that they had done. And alas
[2:20] is they will have to remain in this condition until the day they will be
[2:23] resurrected and the accounts shall be taken. We were in the midst of the
[2:28] story of Ibrahim adhat was Salam. In fact, we had completed the story
[2:31] of Ibrahim Adah his Salam. Mention was made of the death of Ibrahim Adah
[2:36] his Salam. But what is important for us to know is the precise point
[2:39] of where he died only comes to us from the people of the book and
[2:44] from the Hebrew scriptures. So exactly where he died, we can say that
[2:49] he was buried here or there, or in al Khalil or Hebron and so
[2:52] on. But we should remember that that information came to us from the Hebrew
[2:55] scriptures and our policy with that is Lahn or so dick Kwalan. We neither
[3:00] say it is false, nor do we say it is true. It is
[3:02] something. It may be true, it may not be true. It is
[3:06] not in fact something that we are going to be questioned on the day of
[3:08] Kayama to say where was Ibrahim aleah is Salam berried. We are not going
[3:13] to be questioned about that. We're going to be questioned about our own deeds.
[3:15] What are the lessons that you learned from the story of ib Alenhisara to
[3:20] a Salam. As we had said, there was a prophet known as Luthu
[3:23] luth Alai is Salam. Briefly, his history is that he was a youngster
[3:29] at the time of Ibrahim Ali is Salam. When Ibrahim ali his Salam was
[3:32] thrown into the fire, and when Ibrahim Alai is Salam came out and so
[3:37] on, this young man he accepted the message of Ibrahim and he was the
[3:40] only one at the time. Later on there was a female known as Sarah
[3:44] who had also accepted the message of Ibrahim Alai his Salam, and those were
[3:47] the two. So Ibrahim Alai Salam went further up north later on, and
[3:52] we had made mention of how he sent luth aleihi Salam to the people of
[3:57] Sadoum, or the people of Sodom and Gomorrah as we know them in the
[4:00] English language. And luth alahis Salam was working in that region whilst Ibrahim ale
[4:05] is Salam had his own life, and what happened with Macca happened and so
[4:09] on. Now luth alaihi Salam found his people to be very very different,
[4:16] to be wrong, to be queer, to be filthy. The word used
[4:19] in the Quran is filthy. And we read that verse this evening in suaul
[4:24] Amba. We arelas suhnahuatalases one a jaina humin and conati latin ka tamuljaba.
[4:33] If we saved him from the people who used to engage in filth habai if
[4:41] that which is completely dirty and filthy. So Allah describes this action as filth
[4:46] and alas subhanahuatlas is. But m moroseni, the people of Louth have belied
[4:54] all the messengers. Now there was just one messenger who came to them.
[4:58] So why does Alla se they've beli all the messengers? Because we are Muslims,
[5:03] what do we say we believe in Allah as one la Illah la Lahu
[5:09] Muhammador Rasulu Lah Salaahu Ah was Sellah. We believe in that Shahada that there
[5:14] is none worthy of worship besides Allah Suhana Awatalah and Muhammad Salaahu Allah he was
[5:17] seldom is the messenger. But our emn is not complete unless we believe in
[5:24] all the messengers, the previous messengers. So if someone says, I believe
[5:28] in Noah Abraham, but I don't believe in Moses, and then I believe
[5:31] in Jesus and so on, he cannot call himself a Muslim. He cannot
[5:35] because we believe ahmantubin lahi Wama Lai khatihi wa Kutu be he wusulihi wa yaomil
[5:42] Afi and so on. We believe in Allah. We believe in all the
[5:45] books. In a nutshell, we believe there were books revealed to these messengers
[5:48] or to some of the messengers, and whatever we know from them, we
[5:51] accept, and we know that this is correct if the Qur'an has confirmed it.
[5:58] The same applies to the messengers. Those names that appear in the Quran.
[6:00] We have to accept and we have to believe that they were all the
[6:03] highest of people, the best that were chosen by Allah subhanah howat Alah.
[6:08] So the fact that they denied Luke Alais Salam, they denied everybody else.
[6:14] It means they denied everybody else. And this is the same message that Alas
[6:17] Subhanah hawat ala gave to all the previous nations as well. So alas is
[6:24] if carl ala um ahomtun a laa kona inlakum rasunun mean fata kulla alt hero
[6:40] when Luke alais Salam told them, don't you fear Allah. I am a
[6:46] messenger who is trustworthy. I have come to you fear Alas Subhannah hawaate alah
[6:51] wama as alon kumar alai him in job in Aigeria in lallah karam bin Alami,
[7:02] I am not asking you a single penny. Look again, he says,
[7:06] I'm not asking one dollar from you, meaning nothing, no currency,
[7:11] no money, no gold, no silver, nothing material. I don't want
[7:14] anything. So they began to accuse him. This man has come to our
[7:17] town here and he's starting to convey a message and telling us to stop doing
[7:21] what we're doing because he wants to gain something out of it, and Alas
[7:26] says no. He told his people, I don't want anything from you,
[7:29] nothing at all. My recompense is with my rub And then he directly mentioned
[7:34] to them what they were doing and how wrong it was at no Karan,
[7:40] I mean al lama ta kumram bu kum in azajikum bum kaomunadu. How can
[7:53] you engage yourselves with the same sex, how can you engage in acts of
[8:00] immorality with the same sex, and how can you prefer them over the females.
[8:07] Indeed, you are a people who have transgressed the limits of a loss
[8:11] of Hannah to Anna. Let us pose there for a moment. Today we
[8:15] have people claiming to be Muslims, and I've heard one of them on YouTube
[8:18] recently who says, no, I've studied the Koran. I studied the Quran
[8:24] totally, and in the Koran, what is prohibited is to rape the men.
[8:30] But if it is done with consent, there's nothing wrong. This is
[8:33] what they say. How foolish they are, How foolish they are. When
[8:39] Luke is saying, you prefer to do this with men and you are leaving
[8:43] the women, does that imply that he is saying, don't rape the men,
[8:46] rape the women. Is that what he's trying to say. So the
[8:50] Quran clearly says that it is wrong what you are doing. They did it
[8:56] both ways, through rape as well as through consent, both, but they
[9:01] only did it with the same kind. Laho akbar and alas suphanah howat Alah
[9:07] speaks about how filthy this is. You know, I've given you one response,
[9:09] but that is the whole basis upon which people claim to still be Muslim.
[9:15] And they believe that the Koran does not reject this issue of homosexuality.
[9:18] Well, they don't understand Arabic. They haven't understood anything that the Koran has
[9:22] come with. And to be honest, they are blinded because the Koran says,
[9:26] when someone begins to engage in this type of action, Allah says it,
[9:31] and we will come to that verse. They become blind blind, meaning
[9:33] they can't see the right from wrong nothing at all. So, with all
[9:39] due respect to the animals, they are worse than those animals. Ma alas
[9:43] suhana, howat Allah protect us. Remember we are saying, yeah, due
[9:46] respect to the animals, because animals, it is an insult to them to
[9:48] even suggest this to them automatically. The dogs and the pigs do not engage
[9:54] in this automatically. By nature. We ask Alla suphanah howat alah to save
[9:56] guards. And this we are saying it with an op in chess. What
[10:00] that means is it's a challenge, laho akaba. I know secularly someone might
[10:05] say, well, we are free to engage in this type of behavior.
[10:09] Well, I will tell you we who are seated here almostly mean as Muslims,
[10:13] we are not free, laho akhab, But we have chosen to surrender.
[10:16] Once you choose to surrender, you no longer free. You are governed
[10:18] by a certain code of conduct. For example, you are now a South
[10:22] African. For example, you are no longer free to do anything that would
[10:26] break the law of South Africa. But if you want to break the law,
[10:28] you can go and live in another country. The same applies when you
[10:33] are not a Muslim. You can do what you want. But the minute
[10:35] you say you are a Muslim, you are governed by Islam. If you
[10:39] want to do something against Islam, one is to commit it knowing it's wrong.
[10:43] You still remain a Muslim, but you are a sinful person. And
[10:46] as if gods. But two is to do it and justify it and say
[10:50] Islam does not prohibit it. That would remove us from being a citizen of
[10:54] Islam. If we can word it that way. Abaat Allah grant us safety
[11:00] children as well. So this is common logic. We understand this completely.
[11:03] That why is he comparing with the other sex when if they were engaging in
[11:09] rape in the same way, it's wrong to rape this. It would be
[11:11] wrong to rape that. Alas of Hanah Hawat Alah grant us a deeper understanding
[11:16] and may he open the doors of guidance for us. All So, Alas
[11:18] of hanahwat Alah says their sin was not only that they were engaging in this
[11:24] type of sodomy. It is known as sodomy because the village or the town
[11:28] was known as sadum sodom, so that name, that word has been derived
[11:31] from them because they were the first in the history of mankind to engage in
[11:39] that. According to alass of hanahwat Ala in the Koran, alas is Masaba
[11:45] kakumihamin Ahadianalalami, how can you engage in this that nobody before you has ever
[11:54] ever engaged in? So that means they were the first. Now those who
[11:58] say it's biological problem. You know it is hereditary, you pick it up
[12:03] and so on, it's in your genes all llah, that is a lame,
[12:07] cheap excuse, cheap excuse, And I am baffled at how some people
[12:11] of medicine can even agree with that. Because there are certain people addicted to
[12:16] adultery, why don't they say, well, you know what, it's hereditary.
[12:18] Some people addicted to alcohol, why don't they say it's hereditary. Any
[12:22] sin you can use the same cheap excuse to say it's hereditary. I got
[12:26] it from my forefathers, Lahu akaba. How can we say that If that
[12:30] was the case, anybody would be able to justify any sin they are engaged
[12:33] in. So nothing is hereditary. It is just people who cannot control themselves.
[12:37] And now people who want to allow themselves to think dirty, and they
[12:43] continue with those thoughts, and then they want to fulfill those thoughts and continue
[12:48] in that particular film. Believe me, a practicing Jew and a practicing Christian,
[12:54] a practicing Muslim, they all look at this in the same way.
[12:58] The moment someone has looked it with an eye of acceptance, they lose Christianity,
[13:03] they lose their Judaism, they would lose their Islam something common. And
[13:07] those who have decided to accept it, they have changed their religion Akaba,
[13:13] they have modified their religion. Alasubanahuatlah grant us as Muslims protection we in shah
[13:18] Lah. We will never ever, we will never ever say that it is
[13:22] acceptable in Islam secularly, if you happen to be living in a country in
[13:26] the West, or a country that doesn't want you to talk about it,
[13:30] and so on, we will utter a balanced statement. And that is in
[13:33] the same way that those people who want to look at it in that way
[13:37] are free to look at it that way secularly. We are free to look
[13:41] at it as wrong secularly as well. So I hope we understand it.
[13:45] Nobody needs to say no, it's acceptable. There are some countries they are
[13:48] forcing it to be studied in the syllabuses. They are forcing it to be
[13:52] studied in the syllabuses and encourage it as something that there's nothing wrong about.
[13:58] Whereas we need to understand that is defying Alas sup Hannah huata Allah's nature,
[14:03] that he has created us upon the very nature that man is being created upon
[14:09] is being defied, not only man, but the creatures of Allah. Allah
[14:13] says wamun in halakaza kunta dot com. Every single thing we have created in
[14:24] pays for you to take heed. When you have the ions, you have
[14:28] positive, you have negative. When you have electricity, you have positive,
[14:33] you have negative. Why don't they put in two positives Akaba, then see
[14:37] what happens two negatives? You get nothing? Hannah Allah grant us understanding,
[14:43] So Alas says, don't only look at mankind and other other kind meaning living
[14:48] creatures, look at everything we've created in pace Haaa grant as a deep understanding.
[14:52] The people of Lord alihis Salam. They also engaged in what is known
[14:56] as which means they were highwaymen. Highwaymen in the sense that they used to
[15:03] waylay the traveler and block him and steal his property. And they used to
[15:07] engage in that type of misbehavior as well. Another thing, Alas is what
[15:13] tonafinadi kumulmo. They used to have their clubs. The word nadi means a
[15:20] club. They had their clubs where they used to gather and engage in evil
[15:24] all the time. They would gather in the clubs they would encourage people in
[15:28] evil, doing evil, and they would do all that evil, so so
[15:33] much evil. And Alas says this was one of the main things they used
[15:37] to do. And Alas Uhanaatala says loth alai Salam said to them directly at
[15:46] ton afa haisha tawam tobos on, how can you engage in homosexuality? And
[15:54] not only that but in full view of everybody? Stuff rullah, So that
[16:00] was another crime. What was the crime? Alas, it's wantuntubusirun. You
[16:04] are shamelessly engaging in it whilst people are watching, people are looking at you.
[16:10] You have no shame. This is why Mohammad salaalah Seldam says people will
[16:15] continue to have the hope of the forgiveness of Allah for as long as they
[16:19] don't commit open Since the minute you commit a sin openly when everybody is watching,
[16:25] your hope is less. We ask a las Subhanahuatala to grant us protection
[16:30] because there are people who do it openly. You know, sometimes you find
[16:34] a person as you walk and they are engaging in something evil. Say for
[16:40] example, someone is blasting he's beat in his motor vehicle and the whole road
[16:45] is shaking and they notice, ah, there's a share next to me.
[16:47] They used to turn it off before, they used to turn it off.
[16:49] Nowadays they don't have the music. They see the share and they blast it.
[16:53] What is he gonna do about it? This is what's happening. Why
[16:56] because people are now asking for the punishment of Allah. They're asking. You
[17:03] know, before, if there was a boy and a girl holding hands and
[17:07] the shak was passing, they quickly left hands because they say, we don't
[17:10] want to be seen like this. You know, we're not related here,
[17:11] We just you know, illicit, so to speak. Now schek passes,
[17:17] they start hugging and kissing in front of him. What you're gonna do?
[17:19] Even my father didn't tell me it's not so. The world is changing.
[17:23] People are asking for trouble now. Alas of Hannah, howat Alah grant us
[17:26] a deep understanding. So alas subnah howat Alas is here in kumlaja savila toonafin
[17:38] adi kumu come. Firstly, the sin you are committing. You are engaging
[17:44] in homosexuality. Secondly, you awaylaying the traveler and stealing all his goods.
[17:48] And thirdly, in your clubs you are engaging in nothing but evil. So
[17:52] Alas Subnah, howat Ala says, lou tayla his salahsua Salam continued reminding them,
[17:56] and they laughed at him. They scoffed at him. They accused him
[18:00] of being possessed. They accused him of being all sorts of people who wanted
[18:03] this and who wanted that. And alass of Hanah, Howatala did not give
[18:07] him any male children. He only had two girls, two daughters, and
[18:12] Alas of Hanah, Howatala speaks about them. But before we get there,
[18:15] let us take a look at some of the words that are used in the
[18:18] Quran to describe these people. Alas of Hannah, howat Ala says, in
[18:23] a kum lata tunariji alashahuamdunin nissa bala tum kaumumusifu. How can you engage in
[18:42] intercourse with the same sex A stuff? Rula one wonders how to describe it.
[18:48] Once, I had met two people on an aircraft when I left Cape
[18:51] Town going to Johannesburg, and I have to share this with you and one
[18:55] brother. I asked him, what's your name? He says, this is
[18:56] my name. He gave me a Muslim name and the other the brother.
[19:00] I asked him, what's your name? He says, this is my name,
[19:03] and I said, so is this your father? He says no,
[19:08] La hu akaba malas of hanahoua to Alah grant as protection. I had to
[19:14] get up and I had to tell him, with all due respect, I've
[19:17] never come across this before. I have one question for you. What do
[19:19] you do? That's all I want to know. And valahi, he just
[19:23] looked at me, Hey, do you know that I can get you arrested
[19:26] for harassments? I said, what are you talking about? I'm asking you
[19:29] a question now. The reason I'm saying this openly here today is because it
[19:33] is happening in our midst and people are not betting an eyeland. May alas
[19:37] sun annahowat Allah protect us, and may alas sun anahoa Alah grant as goodness.
[19:44] Yes, if anyone wants to leave the fold of Islam, they are
[19:47] answerable to Allah, not to me or to you or to anyone else.
[19:49] But we will continue preaching the Poran because we are free to do that.
[19:52] May Alas sun anahua t Alah grant us a deep understanding. So Allah says
[19:56] balantumkawumun muslifon, you are people who have indeed gone beyond limits. In another
[20:02] verse, but umkun ta jahalun, you are people who are thick stuff.
[20:06] I rula jahala ignorant, complete idiocy. Alas suhana hawata Allah protect us.
[20:11] These are words used in the Purana, and alas suhanahuwat Alah says, how
[20:17] can you leave that which we have created for you and opt for something else?
[20:22] From this verse again we learn it was not just rape, because if
[20:25] it was, Allah wouldn't say, well, go and rape the females.
[20:27] No. Then Alas suhanahwat Ala says luth alaih is Salam looked at his people
[20:33] and he said, kala in amli kuminal ali o, my people, I
[20:42] disassociate myself completely from whatever you are doing. I am not a part of
[20:48] you, and I will never engage in this, nor will I ever condone
[20:52] it. And I want to make it clear that I oppose you very strongly,
[20:57] and I'm warning you of a severe punishment to come from alas u Hahnahwatana.
[21:03] Then alas is wamaka ajawai in la carlu ahriju Karnati kum in nahum Unasu.
[21:18] His people only had one answer. They told the rest of them.
[21:22] They spoke amongst each other and they said, we need to kick Lut out
[21:26] of our community because he he thinks he's very pure and clean. He thinks
[21:32] he is very pure and clean. We need to kick him out of the
[21:34] community. So alasubhnahwat Alam makes mention of this, and Alas is in another
[21:41] verse famaca ajawaati in la carlu afridu a alohim karnati kum. Their response was
[21:52] that we need to now kick Lut and his family out of this community because
[21:57] they are people who claim to be very clean, and they look at us
[22:00] as though we are very dirty. So then they warned him in letterkraji oh
[22:11] loot, if you don't stop saying what you are saying, we will kick
[22:15] you out. If you don't stop saying what you are saying, we will
[22:22] kick you out. And Alas suphannah Hamatla says louth alihis Alam warned them of
[22:26] a punishment. He said, look, Allah is going to come to you
[22:30] with a punishment. I am telling you to do something that is better for
[22:34] you. And why is it that you want to engage in this, and
[22:37] you have been blinded by a loss of Hannah Hawatalah. So there was another
[22:41] response they gave when he warned them of a punishment Ala says fam a kanajami
[22:49] in la carla in un tamina sadi. The response of that community was none
[23:00] other than, oh luke, bring the punishment of Allah to us now,
[23:03] if you are truthful. That was the same thing they told nu alai Isalam.
[23:07] Now they're asking for trouble. And Alas of hannahua to Allah says when
[23:11] they said that luth alai Islam made the dua. He made a dua cala
[23:18] rabsorni al al Kami mufsidi. He said, oh my rob help me against
[23:25] these people. Now remember one thing. Luth alai Islam was one man,
[23:27] one and he had two daughters. Those were the three that had believed in
[23:33] alass of hannahua to Allah. The rest of the community was sick la hu
[23:37] akaba. According to the Koran, they were all out of their heads.
[23:42] Alas says they were blinded. They were encouraging people. They used to gather
[23:48] together and encourage and whenever people used to be passing, they used to pounce
[23:52] on them when the traveler is passing. They used to hide like vultures,
[23:57] and after a while they would land on them pounds go and do what they
[24:02] want, and either release them or hold them captive and continue doing with them
[24:06] whatever they wanted. This is how evil the people were. And Alas Subhanah
[24:11] howat Alah speaks about this, and he says, then luth Alai Islam raised
[24:15] his hands to us, and he asked us for help. And he says,
[24:19] rob being a genie, ANIMI mayamel o Allah save God, myself and
[24:27] my family from what they are doing. Now, if you take a look
[24:32] at what we believe is the changed Bible, you find that they blame Luke.
[24:37] They call him also one of them, and they say he engaged in
[24:41] an act with his own daughters Astafi rula in Islam, we believe that he
[24:45] is blasphemous. That is the highest blasphem is to insult a profit of Allas
[24:52] subhannahawata Allah and to accuse him of something that really he is free from.
[24:56] When Allah sends us a messenger, he sends to us the highest of messengers,
[25:03] those who were of the highest character and conduct, and the cleanest of
[25:07] the crop. Me Alas Sumhnah, howat Ala grant us an understanding. So
[25:11] luth alais Salam was free from all that they accused him. They said what
[25:15] they wanted later on. Only Allah knows why they changed the scriptures in order
[25:19] to try and make him look like a criminal. Was it because they also
[25:22] wanted to engage in it? Only Allah knows me Alas Suhnah howaate Alah safeguards.
[25:27] So Alas says thereafter regarding luth alaihis salah to a Salama, Now we
[25:33] need to stop for a moment and look at what happened. Ibrahim alai is
[25:36] Salam was living at the time and is half alai is Salam had not yet
[25:40] been born. Isaac, may peace be upon him, was not yet born
[25:44] when luth made this dua. Isaac, may peace be upon him, was
[25:48] not yet born. And Alas Sumhanah, howat Ala says, we sent three
[25:52] angels. We spoke about it two nights back. We sent three angels to
[25:55] the prophet Abraham. And when they came to Abraham, he did not recognized
[26:00] them as angels initially. And you know he brought in the calf, and
[26:03] Mashallah, it was a roasted calf that he brought in and subhan allah nice
[26:07] fat calf. When they didn't eat, he was frightened to a certain extent,
[26:11] meaning he wanted to know the reality of who they were. And when
[26:14] he asked them, who are you in fact, they then told him we
[26:18] are messengers of Alas subhanah huwate Ala, and we have been sent to the
[26:26] people of Lud and we have been sent to inform you that your wife has
[26:30] conceived and isha allah she will be delivering a child known as his help.
[26:36] So Ibrahim alai is Alam looked at them and Alas supanahuwat Ala, says Flammad
[26:42] Ibrahim a lauru waja Atjadu Nafi callum. When Ibrahim alai Salam's fear subsided and
[26:56] we gave him the good news, he started debating with us about lou people,
[27:00] meaning trying to buy a little bit of time for them, and a
[27:03] last Subhanahuatla says, we told him, oh, Ibrahim, stay out of
[27:07] that. We have already declared that the punishment is going to go on them,
[27:11] so ibra Alam says Hala in Afi. When they described what type of
[27:18] punishment was going to come to those people, they said, we will come
[27:22] to these verses. But they said, we have been sent with stones,
[27:27] huge stones made of baked clay, with the name engraved on each stone for
[27:33] all of them. Now, what is this. We will come to explain
[27:37] what it means. Now, Brahim Salam was worried. He says, in
[27:44] afi ha luka, but lut is from amongst the meaning he is living in
[27:48] that community. They said, na alamo bi mafi ha. We know exactly
[27:55] who is there. We know better than you who is in that community.
[27:57] We will save him. Don't worry, and we save those who deserve to
[28:00] be saved. In the meantime, they proceeded and they now walked towards Sodom.
[28:07] When they got there, the first people to see these three very handsome
[28:14] looking men, the most handsome that you were seen, were the daughters of
[28:18] Luke alai Is Salam. They saw and they were believers. Immediately they were
[28:22] worried. They ran to their father. Yeah, you know what, there
[28:26] are certain people who are coming into the town and we need definitely, this
[28:32] was now in the evening. This was now in the evening. We need
[28:36] to save these men because you know, these people will come and they will
[28:40] rape these men literally, So Luke Alais Salam quickly rushed to those men and
[28:45] he greeted them. And as he greeted them, he was taking them towards
[28:51] his house. He said, will you be guessed at my place? Guessed
[28:53] at my place, believe me. And they said, okay, we'll be
[28:56] guessed at your place, no problem. And they began to walk, and
[28:59] as they walked, Louth Ali his Salam says to them, you know,
[29:03] Allah has never created worse people than these. So the angels were happy to
[29:10] hear that. Why because Allah told them to not descend with the punishment until
[29:15] the messenger who was sent to them bears witness that they deserve it. So
[29:22] when they heard it from Luke Alai Salah, they now knew that this means
[29:26] it's correct. We have now got the director, you know, as we
[29:29] would say, final signature on. And he continued repeating it to say,
[29:34] they very bad. These are the worst people. These are the bad people.
[29:38] There is no one worse than them. He continued saying that, trying
[29:41] to discourage them from spending the night there. So he had a role as
[29:48] a host and a role as a person who had to also tell them to
[29:51] leave. In a nice way. It's the best bed to leave Anahuatlah grant
[29:56] us safety. So they continued. They went into the house, and he's
[30:03] still telling them. They're very bad people. You know, these people,
[30:06] they engage in so much evil and whatnot. And now what had happened.
[30:11] Nobody found out. Nobody had seen them on the road. They had gone
[30:15] in slipped into the house and the doors were locked, and lut Ali Salam
[30:18] was happy. He was satisfied that at least no one seen. But very
[30:23] sadly, Alas of Hannah Alah speaks in the Anna lass Is Daura Ballahui,
[30:33] Kana Sali Heinifahana Huma Pelamonia and hummahmin Allah ramad Hani Allah gives the examples of
[30:49] the wives of Nu and Luke. Both of them had khata homa. They
[30:56] deceived their husbands. So Luther Ali, his Salam's wife deceived him. She
[31:03] collaborated with the criminals by sending message out, hey, there's three very good
[31:10] looking men who've come to our house. The message went out, so Alas
[31:15] says that woman will deserve the punishment for collaboration. From this, we also
[31:19] learn Alas says Tahawan allbir takoaala tawan ala ithmia. Who do one always assist
[31:26] one another in righteousness? When it comes to evil, don't help one another.
[31:30] Each one is on his own. Don't help a person engaging in evil.
[31:36] Someone wants a lift where you're going, You're going to the pub.
[31:37] You leave him there, let him in the rain, whatever it is.
[31:41] Leaving there. The minute you carry him every bottle he has, you share
[31:45] the equal sin. And this is why when someone going to the messgyip you
[31:49] stop. Every rakha of Salah he reads, you get an equal reward.
[31:53] Help people to come to Salah, help people to fulfill. So the same
[31:57] way we get a good reward when we helped someone to do good, we
[32:01] share the evil when we assist them to do evil. Alasubanah Alam makers from
[32:07] those who can remind people not to engage in evil. So now alas is
[32:12] what establishing the people of the community. The men started coming and they were
[32:21] giving each other good news. Hey it's three guys there. Hey, there's
[32:23] three guys there. They continued, Hey, there's three guys there, let's
[32:27] go, and they all started going in that direction a stuff of rula.
[32:30] Look at how Allah makes mention of it and alas subanah howat alas is this
[32:35] is very very dangerous, very very dangerous. Because when they looked at Luke
[32:40] and they told him, they knocked on his door, they said, hey,
[32:43] open the door. He said, what do you mean, I've got
[32:45] guests here, lazun i bye ifi alaisamumrajo. She don't embarrass me with my
[32:57] guests here is they're not a single one of you who is sensible, even
[33:01] one from amongst you sensible, who can let go of these guests of mine,
[33:07] And you want to embarrass me. I've got guests here. You have
[33:10] no respect for these guests. And they said to him, Carlo aw alam
[33:17] nanhaka, I mean a la mean olut. Didn't we tell you that you
[33:22] are not allowed to have host anybody? No one imagine they had set a
[33:27] law for themselves that this man is not allowed to host anyone because if he
[33:30] hosts them, we're gonna have a problem with him. Anyone else hosts them,
[33:35] they could pounce on that person at night. So Luke alaihis Salah to
[33:42] salam. He continued trying to tell them different ways. In the meantime,
[33:45] Alas Suhannahuatlah describes something greater wachahokmu raona Inlai. A whole lot of them came
[34:00] rushing to him, almost the whole community alas is the tone came. The
[34:04] whole nation came, and they came rushing to him. And they when they
[34:08] heard, they all wanted a share of it. Still howlawa i labinda.
[34:15] And they came to the door and they went they started banging on the door.
[34:20] They wanted to break it. Now akaba and they were about to break
[34:23] the door. Now lout alais Salam is worried, and he is scared,
[34:29] scared for what. He's worried that these guests here, they are my guests,
[34:32] and these people are not even letting go of these guests. So a
[34:37] los su hannahata Ala says. He looked at them and he said, carlaha
[34:42] alla ibanati catum far. At that stage he said, look, oh my
[34:50] people, my daughters. You can marry them if you want. When he
[34:55] said my daughters, he is meaning the daughters of the Umah, the females
[34:59] that are the They were as good as his own daughters. So he says,
[35:02] why don't you engage in this act with the daughters with the girls,
[35:07] you can marry them if you wish. What are you doing here? Why
[35:10] do you want to do this? Do you know what they said to him?
[35:15] Carlo la Kada alim Tama la Nafi Banati kamin halkore well in klam man
[35:22] who read, Look, you know we're not interested in the girls. You
[35:25] know exactly what we want lallakat in Labla and Alas says this in the Quran.
[35:31] And Alas says this is how they uttered, you know exactly what we
[35:35] want. Now he was almost helpless, and he uttered the following statement,
[35:44] car La lao and nanibi kum kuwatan oahui ina hoki shady. He said,
[35:54] I wish and I hope that at this point I had males to help me,
[36:00] because he's only got two daughters. I had males to help me or
[36:04] some powerful support that could protect us here, how much I wish and I
[36:08] hope And at that moment, when these people were a split second away from
[36:15] achieving what they thought they would achieve, these three men spoke up, yalloo
[36:23] in aroslo rabbika, you know in aika, Oh Lord, we are angels.
[36:32] They will never ever be able to harm you, not in the least,
[36:38] not at all. For asinemi likator I mean a lay while if it
[36:46] me come ahadon in lamra I thank go you now by night, leave this
[36:55] community and go as far as you can, and do non turn back at
[37:00] all. Don't even turn back to look at them. Besides your wife.
[37:07] Besides your wife meaning your wife might join you, but she will turn back
[37:10] and receive the punishment. Oh, your wife will not join you. One
[37:15] of the two things. Whatever, it was Alano's best. So luth alais
[37:20] Salam immediately left because he was told in nahomos buhama alsabaham in sober Allai's a
[37:30] sober home. I need. These people's final time is at daybreak morning,
[37:37] early morning. Isn't that so near, o loot, It's so near you
[37:42] Just go away, go as fast as you can and as far as you
[37:45] can. Just go, you and your family. So he took his daughters
[37:47] and he went. Now what happened alaso hannah much ala says I love akaba.
[37:59] These were the people who were punished in the biggest way. They had
[38:02] three different punishments, three different punishments for one nation. Alas is for ahada
[38:10] homosaya haatumushi eating. As that battle ensued early morning, they had the awful
[38:17] cry. Remember we spoke about the sound wave the awful cry, and it
[38:23] was so loud it started shaking them. And Alas Suhnahwatala says he instructed the
[38:30] angel Jibril, who was one of them, to get back into his original
[38:37] form. What is the original form of Gabrin? The prophet Salah al was
[38:42] seldom describes. He says, I have seen Jabril in his original form,
[38:46] Wullah, who will sit to me at i JANNAHI. He has six hundred
[38:50] wings. Each wing. It starts from the east and ends in the west.
[38:54] We can't even see where it starts, and we don't know where it
[38:58] winds each wing. So Gibril lalai Salam came to his proper form and with
[39:05] the tip of one of his wings, he dug under the entire community.
[39:09] And this was after they already heard the awful cry, and they were already
[39:14] being punished, and he lifted them right up, right up, and then
[39:17] he turned them upside down and they dropped from there going straight down, and
[39:23] they were punished severely. So a last anaha Alyasis faja al na aliaha Safilah.
[39:31] We turned them totally upside down completely. We made the top the bottom
[39:37] and the bottom the top. That's what allasay is. We did the tip
[39:42] of the wing of our angel Gibril Lalihi Salah Tosna well, I'm turn him
[39:47] heijar rattan alass And then we sent those stones which were baked it like rock
[39:58] like stones, meaning lightly larger than a general stone, a little bit smaller
[40:01] than what we would term a rock. Each one had the name of an
[40:06] individual engraved on it alas is musa one aton in the Raubbic, they were
[40:09] already named. Each one had something engraved on it from Allah, this one
[40:15] for that man, this one for that man, and alas is mob.
[40:20] It was. It came in an arranged manner. So the stones began to
[40:25] come from the sky. When one hit one, the other was looking,
[40:30] and suddenly another started following this one, and it hit him, and the
[40:35] third was looking. So the third one hit the third, and the fourth
[40:37] and the first, until in a very very short time the entire community was
[40:42] totally destroyed. There was also one of these for the wife of luth Alihis
[40:46] salatuusterner So alas is firstly the awful cry. Then we turned them upside down,
[40:53] and then we had the stones rained from the top for every single one
[40:58] of them. And this is why Alas sukanahuate Alah speaks about this. Alas
[41:05] Is luth Ah Salam warned them a lot, but they didn't believe him,
[41:15] and they tested his guts in the sense that they continued and they continued harming
[41:20] him, and they continued engaging. They didn't want and Alas Suhanah, howat
[41:22] alasis, look look at these people, look at how they've been punished.
[41:28] And do you know what Alas suphanahwate Alah speaks about the fact that they are
[41:31] still there. Alas is, these people of Louth alaih Is Salam, we
[41:37] have kept them. We have kept their signs there for all of you to
[41:42] see who come after them. So today you go to the dead sea,
[41:45] alass We've kept it as that you will see what happened to the people of
[41:49] Lout. Go there and have a peep akaba and a lot tells Mohammed sa
[41:54] Alam were in Kumla Morona Ami Mosumihina warbin nail afalata quin on. You people
[42:02] pass them during the day and during the night. Don't you then have brains
[42:07] that this is the punishment Allah served those who engaged in this type of act.
[42:12] So that is one of the reasons why Allah left them there. Lahu
[42:16] Akaba, And I'd like to end by making mention of the verses at the
[42:22] beginning of the twenty seventh part of the Quran, which are very powerful.
[42:25] They describe what happened to the people of Luth. They start off with the
[42:29] question of Ibrahim ali Salam to those messengers, to those prophets karla famtobukum mon
[42:37] Salon. Ibrahim tells the messengers, what is what is happening with you?
[42:40] What is it that you are going to engage in now? Carlu in orsina
[42:45] ina kalum im mujimi. They said, we have been sent to this nation
[42:51] who are criminals Theori heijar Ratanmi, in order to send them these stones which
[43:00] are made of dried clay baked stones. Alass of Hannah. Howat aalyases we
[43:08] are here in order to send them these stones, the Norstan mintin Mussawamatan darabik
[43:19] in Musrifin. They have all come marked. They are marked. Every one
[43:22] of them is marked from Alas of hannahwat Alah for these people who have transgressed
[43:27] the limits. For ahrajenah Mini. So Allah says, we removed whoever we
[43:37] found to be from amongst them as men, as the believers. That was
[43:42] the instruction of Allah. Now the angels, they say, famajada raya abaiti
[43:47] minan Muslim. We found nobody besides in one home the Muslims, those who
[43:53] had surrendered. That was Luke and his two daughters. What are nai ha
[44:00] ay ladnaya haafun a la da aim. And we have left the signs for
[44:07] those who want to see, to those who fear the punishment that is very
[44:12] painful, and they want to learn a lesson from this, We ask alas
[44:15] of hannahwat Alas goodness. So those people were destroyed completely. Luth alai Islam
[44:20] went. Where did he go? He went back to Ibrahim adah is Salam
[44:22] in order to tell him. He went to tell a Brahim ada Islam what
[44:25] happened. And he was amazed that Ibrahim alais Salam already knew what had happened.
[44:31] Why because Ibrahim Alai Islam said, when those angels were coming, they
[44:36] passed by me first. They told me. Then they went to you.
[44:38] And it is reported that up to the death of luth alais Salam, he
[44:42] continued reminding people, and he continued teaching them goodness. Mala use us also
[44:45] to teach goodness. Mellah, protect our children, offspring and all from this
[44:51] type of evil. Remember, on the globe today it is being promoted.
[44:54] It is being promoted such that in some countries it is considered something good,
[45:00] and people are given extra grants and they are given extra allowances when they engage
[45:07] in this type of activity. Remember, it will remain wrong and it will
[45:13] remain evil. I'd like to tell you one thing. At the time of
[45:15] Louth alaihis Salama, it was in one little place that this was happening.
[45:21] Today globally people are promoting it globally. What do you think will the result
[45:27] be or the result will be alas with Hannah, howatala safeguardess alasu Hanah houwat
[45:32] Alah protect us. Sometimes possibly because of the few believers that are in the
[45:37] midst of these type of cities and countries and so on. Maybe because of
[45:42] that alas of Hannahuatlah does not punish the people all laho alam Allah knows best.
[45:46] If you go onto YouTube and you search the people of Pompeii, check
[45:52] what happened to them, Check what they used to do. It was discovered
[45:55] not a long time ago, and the entire nation in Italy was destroyed completely.
[46:01] And how they were destroyed. I leave it for you to go and
[46:04] research. Go and check it. Mala subhanna ala, say God all of
[46:07] us, what's alla? Who was selling? Abarakamad and Subhannah loa you handy
[46:12] subhanahklahama hamdy inland stuff you cover on a tow boy
