[0:02] This is Miler rahimani Rahim in the name of Allah, the most Gracious,
[0:12] the most merciful, heard a lot par excellence, presents lessens from the stories
[0:31] of the prophets by Mufti Ismail even Musa menk Son and in his Salam snip
[0:48] peace be upon him sat allahhu is Aldah awabaraka alah ibad lao staff Awabad.
[1:03] All praise is due to a loss sub Hannah. Howat Ailah, blessings and
[1:07] salutations upon Muhammad salalahu areeh. He was seldom We ask Alas subhanahwa t Alah
[1:11] to bless him and to bless every single one of us, and to grant
[1:15] us every form of goodness a mean beloved brothers and sisters in Islam. Yesterday
[1:21] we went through the story of the nation known as ad to whom Alas subpnahwat
[1:26] Aialah had sent a nabe and a prophet known as who the Adehsalah to us
[1:33] Salam. We heard that they were destroyed with a wind, a very very
[1:38] powerful wind. And we heard that Alas Subphanah hauwat Alah destroyed them to the
[1:44] degree that there was no remnants of them, nothing at all to this day,
[1:49] there is nothing to prove to us that ad existed besides the verses in
[1:55] the Quran. Unlike the pharaohs, whom we have pyramids to see that they
[2:00] were there, when it comes to the other nations, there are some science
[2:04] to prove that they were there. Yet these people were the most powerful.
[2:10] They were large, huge people who were granted lots of wealth, They were
[2:15] granted lots of power. They had made their homes in such sophisticated ways,
[2:22] and they defied a loss of hannahuat Allah by saying, who is there that
[2:27] can be more powerful than us? Today on the globe, we have forces
[2:31] that claim to be the most powerful. We have nations that are the most
[2:37] sophisticated. We have nations that are technologically the highest, and they are far
[2:43] beyond everyone else. Take a look at the nation of Japan, for example.
[2:49] May as of hanahuat Allah protect us, and may he protect humanity at
[2:53] large. May he guide us all to the straight path. I recall a
[3:00] few months back witnessing what happened in Japan, and I told myself, and
[3:06] I'm sure we all did, that these are the most sophisticated brains in the
[3:12] world. They have Sony and they have motor vehicles, and they have so
[3:19] much in terms of electronic gadgets that when they want to get to their offices,
[3:24] they look at the door, it looks at them and opens. And
[3:28] believe me, this is what happens. It detects the eye and it opens
[3:31] Laho Akamar. And yet when alas sub hanahuwat Ala in eight seconds decided to
[3:38] destroy a whole portion, nobody could do anything. Nothing nothing, not a
[3:46] soul, not a machine, not technology, not a man, not a
[3:50] power, not a weapon, not their seats in the security council. Nothing
[3:54] no. And that is the power of the creator A las Subphnahwatala safe goddess,
[4:00] and may he make us from those who can learn a lesson. This
[4:02] is why whenever the prophets or a Laho Allah he was seldom used to see
[4:08] clouds come towards Madina till Munawara, his face would change and he would start
[4:13] making duah and he would be worried. And Ai sharaday allahu Anha says that
[4:17] I asked him, oh, messenger solallaho Allah, he was seldom. Why
[4:21] do you look so worried? He responded, saying, these clouds have been
[4:27] sent before as a punishment to destroy nations. Here they are, we should
[4:31] make da to alla supnah to ala ya Allah grant us rainfall of mercy.
[4:35] Let this cloud bring what is known as sukiya ahmat and lasukiya adar. Let
[4:42] it bring the rain of mercy, not that of punishment. Alasupnah to Allah
[4:46] grant us a lesson. So when we hear the lightning, when we hear
[4:49] the howling of the wind, we should always seek the protection of alasu hanahua
[4:54] to alah. Obviously, the nation of Islam will not be destroyed completely,
[5:00] no, not at once, just like the previous nations, but the pockets
[5:04] of people will be suffering depending on their connection with a Las supannahuata ala.
[5:10] Alas supanna huatala grant us that plug in in such a way that we connect
[5:15] to our las supannahuata ala. This evening, we'd like to go through the
[5:18] story of Saleh haleehala toua Salama. These people were successors after Ad. They
[5:25] were further up north. They were roughly in a place known as al Hijan
[5:30] Alhejir, the place which was quite rocky. There were some rocky mountains and
[5:34] so on and alas Suhanahuatla has named a whole sura in the Qur'an after them,
[5:41] known as Sura Tuljijen, and their dwellings are still present up to now
[5:46] roughly three hundred and eighty kilometers northwest of Madina Tulmunawara and Rasulu Las alaho Ah
[5:54] Rasalam has been there, and so have some of his companions. And the
[5:59] story is related to us in Challah. We will get to the end of
[6:01] it. What the profits of allaho Ala? He was seldom said, But
[6:04] let's take a look at what happened to these people. After add these people
[6:09] were the remainders. They went further up north and so only settled, and
[6:13] they had children and what have you, in generations, and they were in
[6:15] the worship of Allah Subhanah howat Ala. They were thanking Allah that they were
[6:17] saved and what have you. And after some time they also began to get
[6:20] produced, they got gardens, they got power. They were large human beings.
[6:25] When I say large, I'm talking of huge human beings, so huge
[6:30] that Alas su Hanah howat Alah describes their size, and he describes their dwellings,
[6:34] and he describes the gifts that he gave and alas sub haanah howa to
[6:38] Alah says, from amongst them, there was so much wealth that after some
[6:43] time they began to forget Allah Suhannah Howatana, they began to indulge, to
[6:48] indulge. This is why we constantly say that alas sup Hannah howat Alah.
[6:54] When he gives us good health, when he gives us wealth, when he
[6:57] gives us happy conditions, don't forget him tarra il allah he feel rahi yeah
[7:02] arif kahita. Get close to a loss of hannah huwat Alah. At times
[7:06] of ease, when you are in difficulty, he will come to you soub
[7:12] hanaha. But with us, what happens. Sometimes we forget a loss of
[7:16] hannahuwa to Alah. So next thing we have a problem, and that problem
[7:19] makes us lift our hands up to him for the first time in our lives.
[7:24] Now, a loss of hannahua to Alah grant us the ability to turn
[7:28] to him at all times. So these people, when they began to engage
[7:33] in this type of behavior, they had lots and lots of wealth. They
[7:39] also followed their forefathers, And what did their forefathers. Do you remember we
[7:45] spoke about it yesterday. They had these houses on top of the mountains that
[7:50] they did not really live in, and then they had their dwellings in the
[7:54] valleys. These people did the same thing. They did exactly the same thing.
[7:59] So Hannahwatala decided to send to them from amongst them a man. What
[8:03] type of a man, A man who was also from a wealthy family,
[8:09] A man who was also from a very well looked up to family. Not
[8:13] just an ordinary person from the low caste of people. No, a person
[8:16] who had very high standing in society and community, so much so that he
[8:20] was a man whom they were preparing in order to appoint as their leader.
[8:28] They wanted to appoint him as their leader because he was one of the most
[8:31] intelligent from amongst them. S alihis Salah to a Salam for your information.
[8:35] Once again, this story, just like the story of Ard, is not
[8:39] made mention of in the Old Testament or the New Testament because these were Arab
[8:45] prophets who came to the Arabian Peninsula. So for some reason, they are
[8:48] not mentioned in the Jewish and Christian scriptures. Although the Qur'an says that Mussa
[8:54] alehissalah to a Salam. The prophet Moses had warned his people of something similar
[9:00] to what happened to Themud and the others. So mention is made of this
[9:03] in the Quran. So Alas Subhanah huwat Alah says, w elahamuda aham Sali
[9:13] to the people of Themmud, we sent to them their brother Saleh may Alas
[9:16] peace be upon him. What is meant by their brother we explained yesterday when
[9:22] Allah says we sent their brother, it means one from amongst them. It
[9:26] means he was from amongst them. Klayah kumulm la kun in ela him royal.
[9:33] He says, Oh, my people, worship Allah alone. You do
[9:37] not have anyone worthy of worship besides Allah. Sobhanahwat Anah. Look, this
[9:41] is the same message, the same message that Alas sup Hannah howat Alah sent
[9:46] with every single messenger. This evening, we came across verses at the beginning
[9:50] of surat Hood where Alas Subhana huwat Alah speaks about why he revealed the Qoran.
[9:54] Listen to what Allah says, and these were verses we read inter We
[9:58] have a few moments ago kitabun kim and a touna for say, led me
[10:07] in ladun hankiim in hobby a latado in Allah. We have revealed this book
[10:18] to you, oh Mohammad Salah. He was seldom from the most knowledgeable,
[10:24] the one who knows absolutely everything the all wise in order that they may abstain
[10:31] from wayshiping anything besides allahs of Hannahattan. So that's the reason why the Quran
[10:37] was revealed to warn us all with the same warning that the previous messengers had
[10:43] come and brought to their people. Be careful of shiri. That was the
[10:46] main message, and that is the core message of the Quran. If you
[10:50] are to associate partnership with Allah, you fell into the same trap that Chaipan
[10:56] has been using for so long. It beats me that to cat you still
[11:01] need the same trap that they used to use one hundred years ago. It
[11:03] works. They have not become sophisticated. Lahu akaba. Have you ever come
[11:07] across people or rats? Should I say that do not get ensnared in that
[11:13] trap. Maybe fish are slightly cleverer, because now if you use the same
[11:16] bait in one place, they see their brothers are getting caught. They won't
[11:20] bite the fishermen from amongst us no akaba. So you've got to start thinking
[11:26] of different type of bait. But Chaipan uses the same plan and he's hooking
[11:30] man one after the other. They bite him, they biteing and alas sunahoatalas
[11:35] is man. We've given you these stories of the previous nations for you to
[11:39] abstain from it. Now when we talk about shir, some people start saying,
[11:43] what everything is sure? How can you be saying that this is she
[11:46] gratscher. Well, it's better to be on the safest side because then we'll
[11:50] be saved. But the moment we are now entered in great territory. For
[11:54] what the Quran is clear cut. Worship Allah alone now Ala suhanahat Allah ourdos
[12:01] so alas of Hannah. Howat Alah says that Salah told his people, look
[12:03] at the gifts of Allah upon you, who are shaku mean stanma kuni ha
[12:13] a loss of Hannah. Howatala has established you on earth, and he has
[12:16] granted you growth on this earth, and he has granted you multiplication. Festal
[12:22] feel fu matobo in a. So seek forgiveness to Allah and return to him.
[12:33] This is Yet another messenger who is making mention of both is still far
[12:37] as well as Tealba to repent and to turn back to a loss of Hannah,
[12:41] howat ala, And he says, then a loss of Hannah, Howatla
[12:45] will answer your call. He will answer your duah in arabbikiboom mujib. Allah
[12:54] is indeed very near, and he will respond. Many of us we may
[13:00] ada. Then we say, Allah is not answering my da. Allah is
[13:03] not answering my da. But there is a narration of the prophets a Lallah
[13:07] who was seldom, which says, how can there be a man who is
[13:13] raising his hands so high in the skies and asking Allah, Yeah rab Rabbi
[13:18] warman Basu, Who haramon wama parana, Who haraman wahi haraami fanna ustadjabuli dalik.
[13:26] His food is haram, his clothing is haram, He's drinking is haram.
[13:31] He has been nourished with haram. How does he expect a response?
[13:35] This is what the prophets Allah Allam is saying. So sometimes we need to
[13:39] look into our own selves. When we call out to Allah. A true
[13:43] more men will feel in his or her heart that Allah has hurt my dam,
[13:50] he will feel it. And the prophets Allallah, who seldom says yustajabuli
[13:54] ahadi kumala mystaja. All of you will be responded to by Allah. Suhanah
[14:00] Allah for as long as you don't make haste. So the sahaba say,
[14:03] woman is the ajia luya rasula la? What is it to make haste?
[14:07] What is that? He says, anyapuna ahadukun daur too, fellow new stage.
[14:11] I believe when you start saying that I have made a dua but I
[14:16] still don't have a response, then you are trying to jump the gun.
[14:20] So don't jump the gun. Don't make haste. Allah will respond, keep
[14:24] on making that duar. When the messengers made dua, they made a dua.
[14:28] Allah responded, but they sacrificed their whole lives for Alas subhanah houata Alah.
[14:35] And there were some messengers we will get to them in shah Allah who
[14:39] made duaa and repeated the dua until a day came when Allah responded. Sometimes
[14:43] it was not almost spontaneous, but Alas Suhanna huwata Alah wanted to prove something.
[14:50] So it's important for us never to lose hope. But remember, if
[14:52] you want your dua to be accepted, we'd better engage in still far first.
[14:58] When you engage in still far first and repent first, and then you
[15:01] ask Allah whatever you want, there is a greater likelihood of that being answered
[15:05] almost spontaneously. So alas Subhanahuatla says their houses were so big jakano yantu namin
[15:13] aljibalibuyut amini. They used to carve out of the rocky mountains their homes that
[15:24] they felt so secure in. Sobhanah Lah, imagine a rock, a boulder,
[15:31] a mountain like a boulder, and here comes a man and with his
[15:33] thumb as though this is the play dough let the children play with. And
[15:37] he is just, you know, pushing it. And there is something just
[15:43] like play dough, a cavity being created because of his thumb being pushed into
[15:46] a rock. That's how powerful they were. And alas is when they made
[15:50] their houses of rock at the top of the mountains, they felt so secure.
[15:56] What did they begin to say? Nothing can harm us, not at
[16:00] all. Remember those Titanics and those challenges that have been destroyed by a La
[16:06] Suhanahuatala people need to learn a lesson across the globe. The minute you try
[16:11] to defy the maker, it's no go area nothing, No matter how sophisticated
[16:17] you are, no matter how high in technology you are. When you utter
[16:22] words of blasphemy, it is the end of the road. Finished. The
[16:25] chapter closed, Allahu Akaba, and Allah has shown us this in the past
[16:30] and in the present. Whenever people have uttered words of this nature, they
[16:33] have been destroyed. As we said yesterday, the word used was destruction.
[16:40] To smithereens. You know what Allah says about the people of ah matadarami shai
[16:48] in a tatalai inland Islan w came on the wind that blew that tornado,
[16:59] the fierce wind. Every single thing that it touched, it destroyed it to
[17:03] smithereens aramm meaning complete destruction, although as though it was already decomposed into the
[17:10] ground. That's the wind. That's a lot Subhanna huata alah alas supannah hu
[17:15] to Allah grant us a lesson, so alas is. These people had homes,
[17:18] they felt so secure. What will destroy us? Nothing? The wind
[17:22] will not destroy us because this is rock. Listen carefully, because at the
[17:26] end we're going to need to remember what was said. Now. The wind
[17:30] won't destroy us because this is rock. The water cannot destroy us because this
[17:34] is at the top of the mountain. And what else can destroy us?
[17:37] If the earth is going to shake, this is a rock. It will
[17:41] remain in one piece. It can't destroy us. So they were happy.
[17:44] Am mean, they felt very secure. So alas supannah huata alas is Salah
[17:48] haleehi Salam who was also from a wealthy family. He was a very strong
[17:53] man, extremely intelligent, very very bright, and they knew it because they
[17:57] were preparing him to become a leader. He said, if pla a lahum
[18:02] ahum sali hun alah tata he says, or their brother Salah told them,
[18:08] are you not going to be fearing a las subnahu ada? Don't you fear
[18:12] a punishment that will come to you in mila kum rasulun. And I have
[18:18] been sent as an honest and trustworthy messenger unto you fatapu lah well out to
[18:26] your own So fear Allah, fear your maker and follow what I have to
[18:32] say because I have his message. Wama as Kumar alan him in Agile in
[18:38] Aigeria. In Lahlah, I'm being m I'm not asking from you any sense,
[18:47] nothing, no recompense at all. My reward will be with a llah.
[18:51] Look we get to that point again. Every messenger is saying, I
[18:53] don't want anything material from you. They did not to the degree that the
[18:57] prophets are allaho Alai seldom says with us the prophets it is prohibited to eat
[19:03] a charity. We're not allowed. You cannot give a charity to the messenger
[19:07] or to his family members. No, because alas Supannah howat Alan makes mentioned
[19:14] in the pan of how the religious folk of other faiths have made their religion
[19:19] a money making rackets. Literally, you enter that church, for example,
[19:25] you pay so much. The richest person there is the priests or the bishop
[19:30] loaded marshal llah. That is why nowadays in our countries, if a person
[19:36] doesn't have faith and belief and they want to become rich, first thing you
[19:38] do open a churchho akaba. It's better than a touch shop, better than
[19:41] anything else, believe me, better than dealing in the stock market laho akaba.
[19:48] So for that reason, alas Supana howat Alah warns us to say that
[19:51] true men of religion they will not be greedy. They will not be people
[19:55] running after wealth. Allah will take care of them. Alas Supannah, howat
[19:59] Alah grant us contentment. Then alas subhanahata Ala says thereafter that they looked at
[20:06] him and they were shocked. Shocked while listen to what they said, Call
[20:10] yeah, Sally, oh God Uncottaphine, Marjoua kabela atta Buddhamaya owner Akabani.
[20:26] They said, oh Sally, we had so much hope in you. We
[20:30] were busy preparing you to make you our leader. How can you now come
[20:36] to us and stop us from what our forefathers have been doing. All along
[20:41] we had hope in you. Now you decided to become a priest. You
[20:44] decided to become someone who wants to preach to us. You're claiming to be
[20:48] a messenger. So they lost hope in him, but they had hope moments
[20:52] before he uttered those words. What happens to us, my beloved brothers and
[20:56] sisters, listen to blynd. Sometimes you have an intelligent child, you send
[21:03] him to become a doctor. Why he's too sharp? And then you have
[21:07] one who struggling at school. Ah, he must become a chef. Let
[21:10] him send him today, Oh love am I right. Let's be honest.
[21:15] Let us face the facts and one lie. If you find an intelligent child
[21:19] wanting to turn to become a chef, for example, people at in some
[21:25] homes, they'll discourage, No, no, what you're gonna earn. I
[21:27] know of cases myself of people who've been so fortunate, so fortunate in that
[21:33] they were inclining towards studying the religion. Their parents stopped them and blocked them
[21:40] and said, what you're gonna earn? Until they convinced them that you know
[21:42] what, these molanas that are here, they don't have any money. Look
[21:45] at their cars. They're all driving little Toyota Corollas of nineteen ninety six.
[21:49] Yes, that's the statement being made, exactly what they told Sally hale Issalam.
[21:55] Look at it being repeated again. Yeah, saleh ho father coll Telphine
[22:00] nahmamojo kbanaha. Oh Sally, you had such good education, meaning you were
[22:06] top you, so intelligent and so on. We had so much hope in
[22:08] you. You want to choose this path, why don't you choose our path?
[22:12] Will make you loaded? Laho akaba. Look at that. Look at
[22:15] the statements. We need to learn to encourage our children and we need to
[22:21] know that wealth is not everything. There are people who have reserved their places
[22:26] in paradise who have never lived in a home. They've only spent their time
[22:30] under the trees and intense because Jana and Paradise is not reserved for those who
[22:37] had money in this world. No, Wi, you be happy with what
[22:41] alas subhanahamat Al has given us. May alasu panahamat Allah grant us sustenance that
[22:45] is good for us, and may he grant us in shallah a comfortable life
[22:49] and a comfortable asherah. I see that I mean is loud Mashallah. We
[22:53] said that yesterday, and well, it's a fact, and it's good.
[22:56] It's very good that we say it loudly because we need it in shah.
[23:00] From a loss of hannahwa to alah so a loss of Hannah. Howat Alah
[23:03] says they told him, you telling us that we should leave what our forefathers
[23:08] have been doing all along. We have doubts in what you're saying. You're
[23:12] not telling us the truth. We have doubt in anlafisia kim him matad on
[23:22] inlaihim MOORI, we are in doubt regarding that which you are calling us towards.
[23:29] We are in cleaned dout. So he continued telling his people, Look,
[23:33] my people, don't be in doubt. I am the messenger and I
[23:36] am warning you that worship Allah alone. What are you going to lose?
[23:40] What are you going to lose? I'm telling you, worship your maker.
[23:42] You can enjoy what you have, but worship your maker. Stop worshiping idols,
[23:47] stop worshiping people, and do not worship the rich from amongst you.
[23:51] Because they had a problem. They used to worship the rich from amongst them,
[23:55] and this is mentioned in n Quran. They used to worship the rich.
[23:59] Whatever what the rich said. Everybody was running in that direction. Why
[24:03] because they were loaded. I made mention of it a few days ago that
[24:06] sometimes your business partner can control you as a human being because you're making money
[24:11] through him. So let's be careful. When we're making money through someone,
[24:15] they should not control you to the degree that you now earn the anger of
[24:18] Allah and you are blinded religiously just because the man or the woman you've made
[24:22] money through is now your big boss. As of Hanahuatlah grant us the understanding
[24:29] that he is the supreme boss I mean, I mean so Ala Suhannah howat
[24:33] Ala says. He reminded them what cor in Jama, I mean koum in
[24:48] our messa what and he and Jimba father kor Allah HeLa in our old emove
[25:03] cedy. Oh, my people, remember that Allah has made you successes after
[25:11] the people of d whom he destroyed. And Allah Suhanna huat Allah has granted
[25:17] you so much that He has given you abodes on this earth, such that
[25:25] you have taken homes, you have built your castles in the valleys, and
[25:30] on top of that you have these resorts or these huge palaces that are made
[25:36] of a rock in the top of the mountains, on the tops of the
[25:38] mountains. So my people remember, turned to Allah what he did to Art,
[25:45] it is not impossible that he can do it to you. What was
[25:48] the response? They began to say that you are a madman, you're a
[25:56] magician, You're a madman. The same this man is mad, this man
[26:00] is a magician. These were different people. But look as though they were
[26:04] trained in the same varsity, as though they were trained in the same college.
[26:11] Why because their lecturer was Chaipan, really Chapan, I believe what did
[26:17] he do listen carefully because he does it to us. He seemed that this
[26:22] plan works. Let me use it again, exactly the same plan, again
[26:26] and again and again and again, and it kept on working, and it
[26:29] is working to this day with many people around us. All say God the
[26:33] Muslim omar, and may he grant he dire to those who don't see the
[26:36] light. So let's never fall pray to Chaipan. Same plan used again.
[26:41] This is why it's repeated in the Qoran. So alas subhanahmach Ala says,
[26:45] call in a mataman almost a hurry. You are a person who's a magician.
[26:52] You're doing you're casting spells on people. Because there were some people who
[26:56] started listening to him. Few people started listening to him, and he started
[27:00] having a following sally hallehsla to us salam. But who were they who followed
[27:03] him? The poor, those who did not have authority. Because remember one
[27:07] thing, when a person doesn't really have much, by him following the right
[27:11] path, he knows he's not going to lose anything material as it is,
[27:15] he doesn't have much. But when someone has a lot, a lot,
[27:19] and he is being told to change his own lifestyle, he thinks to himself,
[27:23] but I'm going to lose all this as it is. I'm sitting comfy
[27:27] alhamdulillah. I'm very comfortable. Everything is okay here, So why should I
[27:32] change? Remember that is when we should be changing for the sake of Allah.
[27:34] We won't lose anything. We will in fact build our afia. So
[27:38] then they told him abasha on mean tabio in even la fali, so a
[27:51] man just like us, one of us, we should follow him. No,
[27:53] this is a human being like us. What's the difference between us and
[27:56] him? Same thing like the previous nations, the loss of Hannah howatch analysis.
[28:00] On top of that, they said, ma t in la basham mis
[28:06] nona, you are a human being just like us, and we want to
[28:08] ask you something f tbi thin in tamino sadi. If you are truthful osaleh,
[28:18] we want you to bring us a sign we want to sign. If
[28:23] you're truthful, we want to sign what type of a sign. Well,
[28:26] we will decide what sign and we're going to get back to you. Imagine
[28:32] they wanted. According to them, we want to sign and we will get
[28:33] back to you. So a loss of Hannah Howatch analysis. The themodo bind
[28:40] the people of the mood. The mood is the name of the people the
[28:42] tribe Alas is the mood they BELI like the warners, the word noddle is
[28:49] used the warners. People came to warn them. The messenger was sent to
[28:53] warn them, and as the messenger was warning them, those who followed the
[28:57] messenger were also warning. There were discussions in this case between the followers of
[29:03] Saleh and those who didn't follow him from the same community. So alas hanahuata
[29:10] Ala says again he made mention of the gifts of all upon them, and
[29:15] he says, look, Allah is the one who provided you a two trakona
[29:18] femaaamani fijan nati was moreanaugh. How do what an hatona mean? Energy?
[29:36] Balibu tell Feri Salih Salam says, oh, my people, do you think
[29:44] that you're going to be left very safe and secure in your condition? You
[29:49] have these gardens, you have these rivers and these springs that are gushing for
[29:56] you, have all these crops. You have all these palms that I hear,
[30:00] you have all these dwellings in the mountains that you have made with your
[30:03] own hands. Allahs made them soft for you. Do you think you are
[30:07] going to be secure in this from the one who has given it to you?
[30:11] And they were very happy. They said, yes, we will be
[30:14] very secure. Nobody can harm us. Who can harm USh Akma? They
[30:19] went to Salah they told him, Oh Salleh, why should we follow you?
[30:25] You must follow us. Look at the statement why should we follow you?
[30:30] You must follow us. Leave your ways and come back to our ways.
[30:34] And you see how you will be successful. Up to this moment,
[30:41] whether it is on an international level or on a small scale within community,
[30:45] you find wealthy people thinking that it is their right to dictate the pace to
[30:51] the whole community as to how the religion should operate to this day. They
[30:55] are none other than the army of Iblis. They are none other than those
[31:00] who have not learned a lesson from the Koran. They probably don't even know
[31:04] that the Koran exists. Alas Supannah howat Ala Granta's lessen. Remember, these
[31:10] stories are not here as fairy tales. They are here for us to current
[31:14] tie every verse and to put it into our lives. That's why these stories
[31:17] are here. So Alas Supannahwatalya says, these are the people over and above
[31:22] that they said, okay, we now know what we want. You see
[31:27] this huge rock that's here. We want you to split it into two and
[31:33] from the inside must come out a camera. The camera must be a female.
[31:37] Look at this, now, you be honest with me. Something.
[31:41] They believe that this is totally impossible. So salahala Sanam's listening to them.
[31:47] As he's listening, they had a feeling this man might be thinking he's going
[31:52] to come with this, So let's make it more difficult. The camel must
[31:53] be pregnant. Not only that, it must be dark red in color,
[31:59] rich red color. Not only that, it must have an appetite. It
[32:02] must be bigger than all the camels we've ever seen. It must have an
[32:06] appetite, it must come. It must be strong and solid, and it
[32:08] must be a sign for us sign we want to see. Salahala Salam says,
[32:14] okay, I will call Allah sabhanahua ta alah, and I'm going to
[32:16] tell him. But there's one condition. Whenever people have asked for a sign
[32:23] and Allah sends the sign, it's over. It's over, meaning whoever does
[32:28] not believe after that, And this is mentioned in many places in the Quran.
[32:31] When it came to the people of Jesus made peace be upon him.
[32:36] He told them that, look, if I'm going to come with this laid
[32:38] table cloth, then whoever doesn't believe after that they will be destroyed. The
[32:43] same with Mohammad saladah Alahi was seldom The people of Korage told him lao la
[32:47] za alai himalak. Why doesn't Allah send an angel with him to prove that
[32:52] he's right? You know what, Allah says, Wailao sana mala can kobri
[32:59] al amro. If we had sent an angel, we would have sorted the
[33:01] matter out there, and then whoever didn't believe after they saw it it was
[33:06] their sign they asking for it. After that, there's nothing left besides destruction.
[33:10] Imagine someone tells you that if you do this, I will believe,
[33:15] and they bring you something semi impossible, and you do it and they still
[33:19] don't believe. Is there anything left? Is there anything left? Nothing?
[33:22] That's according to Allah, I want to draw a very very different lesson from
[33:27] this. We just came to my mind. Now it's important for us in
[33:30] our own little levels. Whenever we promise our children something, fulfill it.
[33:37] What does that mean when you tell your child, you do this, I'll
[33:38] give you a sweet. If they do it, produce the sweet, sohama
[33:43] lah. And that's why I don't tell them impossible things, because I'm only
[33:46] main mentioning this because it's come to my mind now that sometimes we tend to
[33:52] reduce the morale of our children my lying to them. You do this,
[33:55] I take you for a ride. They do that so willingly, and then
[34:00] you say no, the ki is not starting. Why why lie for what?
[34:05] We need to be honest because it will encourage them to do more and
[34:07] they will know that. You know, I'm aiming somewhere. Alas sunana howat
[34:10] ala grantas a listen. This is not related to what we've said, but
[34:14] it came to my mind and I decided to say so. Alas utana Huatlah
[34:17] heard the dua and guess what happened. Lahu akabar lohu akaba ha hinakatu la
[34:27] hila kumaya. Here is your sheep, Here is your camera. Here it
[34:30] is the rock split they watching what a camera came out of it? What
[34:37] they're looking at it huge, big, massive, the biggest camera ever to
[34:42] be created. There Richard Red in color pregnant laho akaba, lahu akaba.
[34:49] They're looking at it. The community was split into two, divided. The
[34:52] majority of them just kept looking. What did they say? What would they
[34:58] say? Now? Magic? Exactly magic Mashallah. You see we know how
[35:02] they operated say, look, this is magic. But you asked me.
[35:07] I made a dua. It came according to what you wanted. Now you
[35:09] want to say magic. But what happened. Some of the people started accepting.
[35:14] He said, no, we believe you are the messenger. All is
[35:16] one. We don't want to worship anything beside them. So it started working.
[35:22] Mashall La community divided into two. Now there was a debate because you
[35:29] find one nabie. He was one nabee with very few people. The numbers
[35:31] started increasing. When the numbers started increasing, these rich people, Alla says
[35:37] in the Koran, they started debating. Karla Ladinas, tat baom In Callmi
[35:42] Lila Ladinas, tod Refo liman Ahmanamin hum at Muna and asali hm Rusalum mirobi
[35:52] carlu in Bima si nabi min. The Hohotea, the wealthy, the powerful
[36:01] from amongst his people told those who were down troddle who had accepted his message,
[36:07] do you know for certain that Salah is actually a messenger? They said,
[36:10] yes, indeed, we believe in everything he has come with. We
[36:14] believe. So they responded in having lady to be caf on. As for
[36:22] us, we disbelieve in what you've believed in. We don't want. We're
[36:25] still happy with what we're sitting with. This guy is a magician. Laho
[36:30] akbar. Look, nothing could bring them. Why they're drowning in money.
[36:35] They had wealth that they could live so many lives, and still they would
[36:39] have changed. So to speak, It's like today, if you look at
[36:44] the wealthy people in the world, they have enough wealth that if they gave
[36:49] ten dollars to every inhabitant of the globe, they still have changed. Loaho
[36:52] akabar, laho akabar. What are they going to do with it? Well,
[36:55] if they don't worship their maker, they stand no chance, nothing,
[37:00] no. And I hope anyone has heard this from amongst them in shallah via
[37:04] whether it is the television or the radios or what have you. Now,
[37:07] Alas of hanahuwat Alah use us always to be a means of the guidance of
[37:10] people. Remember, the softening of the heart is in the hands of a
[37:14] loss of hannahawat Alah. We need to ask a lot to soften the hearts.
[37:16] Let's continue with this beautiful story. Alas of hannahawat Ala says, when
[37:22] that nata, when that camel came down as they wanted it. He told
[37:28] them, father, Kulfi arld in lahi while a ta'mas soon happy. So
[37:37] in fair huda kumada bun ali, Oh my people, the camera has come,
[37:45] leave it. Do not harm it at all. If you harm it,
[37:49] Alas, punishment will overtake you immediately. And he warned them many times.
[37:54] One verse Alas is a grave punishment will overtake you if you touch that
[38:00] camera. Then a las sub hannahuat Allah says, as you people had requested,
[38:07] it was a huge camel. It has an appetite. So what will
[38:09] happen? It will drink from the spring one day and all your camels keep
[38:15] them on one side, and it will drink whatever it can from the morning
[38:20] to the evening. The next day, it will go out to graze when
[38:22] your camels can drink. So we are sharing the days. Whom and ma
[38:30] archisma to bay whom collusive motable inform them that the water will be split between
[38:42] this one camera and the rest of the camels. One day this one and
[38:45] the other day the rest of them. That's how it's going to be split.
[38:49] Nobody is allowed to change that because they had asked for it. Now
[38:52] they were happy, and they were also unhappy, happy because they'd seen the
[38:57] sign and it was a living miracle. It is reported that because it was
[39:01] there every day for them to see, it was living in their midst.
[39:06] Every day, a few people were accepting. Every day, a few people
[39:09] were accepting Saleh. Every day, a few people were coming onto the right
[39:13] path because every day they're witnessing this camera. They're seeing it's huge, it's
[39:16] powerful, and this is the camera. And a Lassu hannah Ala says that
[39:24] when sally halea Is Salam came, the community split into two, and that
[39:30] split was a split of mercy. When Muhammad Salaha Salam came to Khorash,
[39:35] Khorash divided into two, those who accepted and those who didn't. That disunity
[39:39] was a mercy. It was a split for the right reasons. And from
[39:44] this, let's listen to the verse. While our father as Inamoda Aham Salibodullah
[39:55] Fium feri Kani of Tsuimu. When we send Saleh to his people to the
[40:05] mud with the message to worship Allah alone, behold immediately they were divided into
[40:13] two groups, a group four and a group against. There you are,
[40:16] they were arguing with one another, one saying no, he's wrong, the
[40:19] other one saying no, he's right. And they had these debates, as
[40:22] we made mentioned. From this, we learn that whenever there is a man
[40:25] who comes to the community with justice and with the Qur'an and the Sunnah of
[40:30] Muhammad, s adalah Ahi was seldom and the truth, and he reminds us
[40:34] in a similar way that the previous prophets have reminded us. And if that
[40:38] causes a division, that division is healthy. It's not unhealthy. Although we
[40:45] are meant to be staying as one umah as far as possible, but at
[40:49] times if all of us are astray, it's better that ten be on the
[40:52] right path than everybody else be astray. May alasu Hannah hawatala, grant us
[40:55] unity. May alas uh Hannah howatala unite the Muslim um upon la illah la
[41:00] lah ahmadnasulu la s la lah a. That is one statement that will bring
[41:05] us together. And that is one statement that we can come together for.
[41:08] It is the unifying statement. It is the only statement that will unite us.
[41:13] A loss of Hannah houa ta ala open our doors. Then alas of
[41:16] Hannah Howat Alah says whereafter that, these people they got tired with this camel
[41:23] because it was drinking. And now they were getting tired. Whenever the camera
[41:28] was walking, their cameras ran away. Whenever the camera was walking, the
[41:30] cattle ran away the cattle. So they started a rumor in the society,
[41:37] in the community that now we need to sort this camel out. One man
[41:42] decided that I want to do something here and we need to sort it out.
[41:46] He managed to get support of another man. The two of them got
[41:50] support of another seven people there were nine in total, and they decided,
[41:53] we're going to kill this camera. And news started spreading that people are deciding
[41:58] to kill the camera. So Salah Alam warned them again, you dare touch
[42:01] the camera. If you touch the camera, there will be punishment coming.
[42:06] It will overtake you. So it was a huge camera. Even the people
[42:09] were slightly frightened, although they were huge themselves. So this one man goes
[42:14] to the front of it. Alas is faaka wakata. Well, I'll tell
[42:19] a many robbed him. What did he do? He threw an arrow into
[42:24] the front leg of this camera, and the other man went in and he
[42:30] slit its muscle, and a few of them went in when it dropped,
[42:34] and they killed it. Lah, come on, they killed the camera.
[42:37] They're killing the sign of Allah that they had asked for. They destroyed it.
[42:42] And when they destroyed it, the rest of the people were cheering them
[42:44] on happening that now our camels can drink every day way one day, one
[42:49] day. Were tired of that our cameras can drink every day, and now
[42:52] we've got rid of this. And Salah halla is Salam told them, In
[42:54] fact, they told Sally. Once they killed it, they said, right,
[42:58] come here, we want to tell you one thing. We want to
[43:00] challenge you for a karao and amrira be him waka yeah Sali tina Habi mater
[43:12] donna in ktamin almal sani. They said, oh, Saleh, here is
[43:19] what we've done to this camel. Now bring the punishment that you were promising
[43:22] us. So Alas Suhanna Ala revealed immediately to Saleh ca la tamatadi kalaa kawa.
[43:34] Don ryomak remain in your houses for three days. That's it. It's
[43:40] a promise of Allah. Not more than three days, you'll be destroyed.
[43:46] Now they looked at their houses. They were happy. Remember what they said,
[43:50] what is Allah going to send to us? What can he send flats?
[43:53] We have something so high, so strong? Can he send to us?
[43:58] When we have rock made of rock? And so on? They were
[44:01] so happy, and sally Hala is Salam was instructed by Allah Subhannah howatala to
[44:07] leave the place. He was instructed leave because now the punishment was going to
[44:12] come. These people were happy they got rid of the man. Do you
[44:15] see what happens when they were happy. They were happy for the wrong reasons
[44:19] because they succeeded to chase the true leader that they had from their own community.
[44:28] When they chased him away, they were excited. Now we can sit
[44:30] and we can have our own party. There we are. The man is
[44:34] gone. They did not realize that that is your destruction. You are,
[44:38] at last, not him. He's going to go and be saved by Allah.
[44:42] Subhanah, howat Aalah, may Allah say godess allas Suhnah howat Alah grant
[44:46] us a direct lesson from that, and may allasu Hanah howat Alah open our
[44:51] thinking. So the first day their color changed the color of their faces,
[44:58] all of them, the whole community, all the faces. One narration says
[45:01] they became yellow, and another one says they became red. Let's say they
[45:06] became yellow. They started crying. Second day they became red. Third day
[45:10] they became black. Faces became black. The whole community. They were crying.
[45:14] They didn't know what to do. And what did they say? They
[45:17] said, these are days of bad omen. These are days of bad omen.
[45:23] But now there was something else that had happened just before sala Halleh his
[45:27] Salam left. Something happened the evening before he went. These nine people got
[45:34] together, and what did they do? Carutaka samuhila bay yet alla throm malanapali
[45:49] he Marshahi dinner a mahalik who in alasadin pu. They swore an oath between
[45:58] the nine of them. Tonight we want to kill Saleh and his whole family.
[46:05] Tonight we want to kill him and his family. And in the morning
[46:08] we will tell everybody that we don't know anything. We will pretend like we
[46:13] are one of them. So alas is Wama karma, Karnama, Karnama kra
[46:20] wahum lash. They planned their planning, and we planned our planning. Alas
[46:28] is, we had our plan. They had their plan, and then Alasses
[46:32] foul kaifa can ah ka back to mckinne him take a look at what was
[46:40] the result of their own plot. They plotted the downfall of the one who
[46:46] was bringing them towards goodness, and Alass says, we in return destroyed them
[46:52] completely. How did the destruction come? Three days past? They still didn't
[46:59] see the punishment, besides the fact that their faces were changing and they were
[47:01] crying, and they knew something was happening. So they went into their dwellings.
[47:06] Listen carefully. They went into their dwellings safe, secure, those rock
[47:10] homes, and they were now secures. And Alas of Hannah to Ala sent
[47:15] them something he's never sent before. Alas of Hannahoa to Ala says in the
[47:22] Quran for Aha that Homos Sawyer had to almost behaved. We sent them a
[47:29] sound wave in the morning. What was a sound wave? They started hearing
[47:34] a sound The sound became louder louder louder, until each one of them were
[47:39] curled up because of the loudness of the sound, and the sound started shaking
[47:45] their whole community, the nation was shaking, and the sound itself was It
[47:51] created a tremor, and that sound resulted in their hearts dropping and they died
[47:59] on the spot with the sound. Just what sound? Imagine the flood didn't
[48:02] come, the wind didn't come, just a sound. Alas is, we
[48:07] destroyed them because the sound resulted in the tremor. And the tremor is a
[48:10] rajivah, and the rajivah and the sound, they were destroyed completely amazing.
[48:19] Do you know today this is a fact the powers of the world are studying
[48:27] creating weapons out of sound. But I see someone nodding their heads. We
[48:32] know this why because they've realized now that large sound it shakes. Have you
[48:38] ever had someone blasting their beat right next to you in a motor vehicle?
[48:43] What happens? Your car shakes? Yes? Did you ever think that sound
[48:47] can shake the ground? Where did they get it from? Here? Alas
[48:51] of hanah, howat Ala used it in the past. He destroyed them completely
[48:55] again and a loss of hanahawata Allah uses some power of words. He says
[49:02] in uh a sudden I had ahidaka hashim. We sent them one loud sound
[49:13] wave and they became rubble. Do you know what is rubble? Something that
[49:17] the builders use when they want to build a place, They use rubble.
[49:22] That rubble completely destroyed, totally out into smithereens. Once again, another word,
[49:28] and I think a lot of us would know the of by heart.
[49:30] Alas is in cana bad them tamoud. They belied their messenger by being evil
[49:40] and by engaging in all bad he asha. They sent the one cursed person
[49:52] to go and kill that camera fatala lamasahala he was yeah. So the messenger
[50:00] of Allah told them that is the camel of Allah. Don't touch it and
[50:06] let it drink on its day of drinking. Fakabo fak ha. They belied
[50:13] him and they killed that camera. Alas is for dam damma allah akbar.
[50:19] Do you know what that means? Fa dam dama lai him rambo the being
[50:27] first a wa alas as. We destroyed them totally as a result of that,
[50:35] so that they were now destroyed in the same way that they destroyed the
[50:37] camera. Destruction. Look at that word. I'm sure we've all heard it
[50:43] dumb dumb. Now you know, dumb dam means complete destruction, total,
[50:46] without any form of exception, nothing left. Then alas suhnahuatalysis fatil kabuyo to
[50:53] hum jawi a bimala, there are their homes, Go and have a people
[51:00] at their homes because of their oppression. Go and see empty homes as though
[51:04] they'd never been lived in before. Nothing. So who was Allah saying this
[51:07] to Muhammad Salaa? He says, the homes the dwellings of the mood,
[51:13] They are still there now for your information, Sally hala is Salam. After
[51:17] that went back, when everything was destroyed. He went back. These people
[51:22] were dead, killed gon and Salah hala Is Slam looks at his people and
[51:27] he says, yeah, tell me now they're gone, they dead, But
[51:30] he's still addressing them. La caada ab laoto kum ri sala taran bi juannasahtu
[51:37] la coum juaa ki lah to him born and say, oh, my people,
[51:45] I conveyed the message to you of my rob He gave it to me
[51:51] to give you. I gave you and I advised you. But very sadly
[51:57] you do not like people who advise you. So now look at what has
[52:00] happened Allah to hit boone and larsi hin. Anyone who corrects you you don't
[52:06] like them, what lesson do we draw from them? My beloved brothers and
[52:09] sisters. Whenever we are corrected, do not feel bad. Never, whether
[52:14] it's in the home, whether it's at the madrasa, whether it's at school,
[52:17] whether it's on a community level, Whenever and wherever. If someone corrects
[52:22] you and they bring to your attention something where you have heard, you should
[52:27] be happy because if you feel sad alas says, there were people before you
[52:30] who used to dislike those who advised them. The result of it was destruction.
[52:36] Now alasuhnahuatla safeguardess. The last point I'd like to mention this evening before
[52:42] we actually close, is what should happen if we were to go there?
[52:46] Are we allowed to go to Maday and Salah. It's not very far from
[52:50] Madina Munoara. If you want to take a taxi there, it's only three
[52:52] hours away or four maximum. Yes, we are allowed to go there.
[52:59] The proper Sola Aslam passed there with his companions and this narration is in Sai
[53:02] Albuhari and his companions. They looked at this the ruins of the people of
[53:08] the mood, and there were some wells there. They took some water,
[53:12] and they were making their dough, and they had made some bread with it.
[53:15] And when they brought it to the prophets of a Salem, he instructed
[53:17] them to take it back and throw it back. He says, not from
[53:22] that well. No. They went a little bit further and there was a
[53:24] well from which the camel used to drink. He asked them to take the
[53:29] water from them subhan a lah. And this is why the prophet Salala Islam
[53:36] says, do not go there or pass there accepting the condition of crying.
[53:42] When you want to go there. You don't go there as a tourist,
[53:45] you know, with your miniskirts and with your heavy sun hats, the hair
[53:50] showing everything happening, sunglasses and me there taking photos smiling. You know,
[53:54] behind in the background is this ruin of no, that's not allowed. The
[54:00] prophet Salada seldom says no. When you pass by, it should be a
[54:04] lesson. Do you know what the parancea is? If you go there,
[54:07] it will seem that no one ever lived there. Yet those who lived there
[54:12] were far more powerful than all of you put together. Listen, and really,
[54:15] if you go there, you will notice it's empty, it's hollow,
[54:20] It's it's like something subhanah lai. You might tell yourself, it's this just
[54:23] a museum, Parallah says through the lips of Muhammad Salaha, and he was
[54:29] sellen. You are allowed to go there to learn a lesson, nothing else.
[54:31] You go and see it, Yes, it should shake you up.
[54:35] You should be trembling. You should know the story. This is why with
[54:39] us nowadays, Chetan comes and he makes us want to go to the Pyramids
[54:44] as a tourist, not to learn anything. And we go then to Petra,
[54:49] and what did we learn? I shallah? We enjoy ourselves. Hey,
[54:52] it was a very nice holiday. We enjoyed it. And we go
[54:54] to Madai and Saleh and we say we saw it. There's no good restaurants
[54:59] there, because it's true, they aren't any You know, you must take
[55:02] your lunch with you because there's no good restaurant. We didn't go there to
[55:06] eat and drink and make fun. Now, we went there in order to
[55:09] learn a lesson. Now alas sud hannah Ala open our doors until we meet
[55:14] again. Tomorrow with another interesting story. We say it was a La La
[55:16] who was selling Abaraklahammad dam Suhannah, lah Hamdi Subhanaha, Lahom Hamdick in La
[55:22] Antanasa Kana to buy nik
