Colin’s top takes of the week. First, Colin’s joined by '3 & Out' host John Middlekauff to react to all the NFL Free Agency moves. They start with the Dolphins signing Malik Willis and give their takes on if they like the move for Miami (3:30). Next they discuss Mike Evans leaving the Bucs for the San Francisco 49ers (7:00), Tyler Linderbaum leaving Ravens for Las Vegas Raiders (9:00) and Cowboys trading for Rashan Gary (12:15). Finally, they discuss the Chiefs adding Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III, how does that impact Patrick Mahomes & Travis Kelce (15:15)? Then, Colin is joined by Danny Parkins, host of “First Things First” on FS1. Colin kicks it off with Bam Adebayo’s historical 83 point game for the Heat, and Colin argues that the fan blowback wouldn’t be nearly as pronounced if he was more of a flashy type of star player, but Danny argues HOW Bam got the record matters and how he got it didn’t sit right because the game stopped becoming basketball to get him extra chances (24:30). They dive into how LeBron has been typecast as the guy that makes everything work regardless of his teammates… until now that he’s playing with Luka Doncic and they don’t gel (32:15). Finally, they discuss the Bears 9.5 win total and whether taking the over is easy money (39:00) . (Timestamps may vary based on advertisements.) [0:06] Speaker 2: American Beverage. If you think about some of the most
[0:08] Speaker 2: iconic drinks in the country, the ones you grab a barbecue,
[0:12] Speaker 2: the ones you raised to celebrate your team, that have
[0:15] Speaker 2: been part of your story for decades, Coke, Doctor, Pepper, Pepsi,
[0:18] Speaker 2: there's something people don't always think about. The companies behind
[0:21] Speaker 2: those brands are still making their drinks right here in
[0:23] Speaker 2: the US. While there's a lot of talk about bringing
[0:25] Speaker 2: manufacturing back, America's beverage companies never left their American companies,
[0:29] Speaker 2: making American products with American workers in America's hometown. So
[0:32] Speaker 2: two hundred and seventy five thousand men and women across
[0:35] Speaker 2: all fifty states, real jobs, good paying jobs, the kind
[0:38] Speaker 2: of jobs you can raise a family on. So more
[0:39] Speaker 2: than one hundred years, those brands have been part of
[0:42] Speaker 2: everyday lives and they're still here, still investing, still operating
[0:45] Speaker 2: in communities around the country. So if you care about
[0:47] Speaker 2: strong old economies and companies that walk the walk, check
[0:50] Speaker 2: out the good work and what they're doing. We deliver
[0:53] Speaker 2: for America dot Org. Well, the day didn't start well.
[1:04] Speaker 1: I backed out.
[1:05] Speaker 2: I had Monday off because the World Baseball Classic. I
[1:07] Speaker 2: backed out of the garage. The door wasn't all the
[1:09] Speaker 2: way open, and I rammed it with Anne's car. So
[1:13] Speaker 2: that was just not good for me. That was not
[1:17] Speaker 2: and we're going on vacation Saturday. So I got to
[1:20] Speaker 2: make amends really quickly.
[1:22] Speaker 3: Did the garage door follow you or did the car
[1:24] Speaker 3: get the worst of it? Or what happened there?
[1:27] Speaker 2: Yeah, well the garage door stopped working and the car
[1:30] Speaker 2: got dinged up, So it's terrible.
[1:33] Speaker 1: So I said, all right, I'll go walk the dogs and.
[1:37] Speaker 2: Watch them. NFL free agency, so I've made peace with
[1:40] Speaker 2: it and had to go with her sister downtown Chicago,
[1:44] Speaker 2: so she had.
[1:46] Speaker 1: A cool off.
[1:47] Speaker 2: All right, let's start with this, okay. I I know
[1:50] Speaker 2: he only has six starts NFL free agency. Malik Willis
[1:56] Speaker 2: twenty two million a year, three year deal with the Dolphins.
[2:01] Speaker 2: He is not to a stop saying that he's a
[2:03] Speaker 2: real athlete with a better arm. He's got a much
[2:06] Speaker 2: better arm than to it, and he's really athletic.
[2:10] Speaker 1: I know he's young. I like him.
[2:13] Speaker 2: I you know, John, I've said this for years. I
[2:16] Speaker 2: don't know anything about music other than I like it.
[2:19] Speaker 2: I can watch these musical shows. I can tell him
[2:21] Speaker 2: thirty seconds if somebody has like lounge ACKed, or you
[2:25] Speaker 2: could sign him to a record deal. And I don't
[2:27] Speaker 2: know anything about music. I know a little about football.
[2:30] Speaker 2: When I watched that kid's escapability arm, he's got I
[2:34] Speaker 2: mean he's got again.
[2:36] Speaker 1: It's the it's Green Bay.
[2:38] Speaker 2: So he was well coached, but there were Packer fans
[2:41] Speaker 2: saying they thought he was as good or better than
[2:43] Speaker 2: Jordan Love. I think the Dolphins went and found a
[2:46] Speaker 2: very interesting player at quarterback.
[2:48] Speaker 3: Well, the other thing is the people that just signed
[2:50] Speaker 3: him know him. And it's not the offensive coach to
[2:53] Speaker 3: the defensive coordinator that went against him forever, because you
[2:56] Speaker 3: know in the NFL, when you're the backup quarterback, you
[2:59] Speaker 3: run the you know, you run the scout team, you
[3:02] Speaker 3: service the defense. So Jeff Hafley had a front row
[3:04] Speaker 3: seat for two years. And the general manager who was
[3:07] Speaker 3: the right hand guy for Gudikins same thing. Right from
[3:10] Speaker 3: an evaluation standpoint, do you remember a guy improving this
[3:14] Speaker 3: much this fast? Because remember what tennessee, he was pretty bad,
[3:17] Speaker 3: like he was unplayable, and then last year when he
[3:20] Speaker 3: had to play, he was basically just a running quarterback.
[3:23] Speaker 3: When the floor, remember because he got hurt in Week
[3:25] Speaker 3: one in Brazil, loved it and then he had to
[3:27] Speaker 3: play and they started winning. It's like, okay, there's at
[3:30] Speaker 3: least something there. I gave Laflor a lot of credit
[3:32] Speaker 3: this year to me with his arm was fantastic because
[3:36] Speaker 3: he proved two things. One he could come out of
[3:38] Speaker 3: the bullpen. So he played in a game when Love
[3:41] Speaker 3: got hurt against the Bears that he was not planning
[3:43] Speaker 3: on playing. And then, let's face it, Love was kind
[3:46] Speaker 3: of hit or missed this year. In that game, he
[3:47] Speaker 3: was fantastic. And the cold weather, which is a big
[3:50] Speaker 3: knock on Tua and a big knock on the Miami
[3:52] Speaker 3: Dolphins can't play in cold weather? Well, why is that
[3:55] Speaker 3: the case? Usually when you have a p shooter arm,
[3:57] Speaker 3: what doesn't pierce the cold in the win? Weak arm strength?
[4:00] Speaker 3: Look at the great quarterbacks you know historically in that region,
[4:04] Speaker 3: Big Ben, Tom Brady, Peyton, Manning and Breeze played in
[4:07] Speaker 3: a dome. Rivers played in southern California, Eli Manning, huge arm.
[4:11] Speaker 3: Where do you play in New York?
[4:13] Speaker 1: You know?
[4:13] Speaker 3: Donovan McNabb, Michael Vick, Patrick Mahomes cold weather quarterbacks. Burrows
[4:18] Speaker 3: somewhat of an outlier, not a great arm but he's
[4:20] Speaker 3: just he's like Montana, just a great player. So it
[4:23] Speaker 3: kind of translates. But I'm with you. I not only
[4:26] Speaker 3: like it, I think it's an incredible story of just improvement. Clearly,
[4:31] Speaker 3: he was always a high character, interesting human, but the
[4:34] Speaker 3: play was really raw when Tennessee drafted him. But the
[4:38] Speaker 3: lafleur deserves a lot of credit because that offensive staff
[4:40] Speaker 3: improving the player deserves a lot of credit. Incredible story.
[4:44] Speaker 3: I'm with you. I think no brainer for him. Miami
[4:47] Speaker 3: to me is more interesting than going to than Arizona.
[4:50] Speaker 3: So I like picking the spot, and you know, the
[4:53] Speaker 3: guys know you and believe in you, so he wouldn't
[4:55] Speaker 3: shock me at off. He I don't think he becomes
[4:57] Speaker 3: like a top seven eight quarterback, but has just a
[5:00] Speaker 3: solid career like what we saw last year. There is
[5:03] Speaker 3: no disputing he was a really good player in limited action.
[5:06] Speaker 3: Really good.
[5:07] Speaker 2: Yeah, And it should be noted that Sam Darnold and
[5:11] Speaker 2: Baker Mayfield, you know we've seen this before. There's more
[5:18] Speaker 2: good offensive coaches, there's more sophisticated schemes. If you're a
[5:22] Speaker 2: hard working kid. You're not gobbling up, you know, too
[5:25] Speaker 2: much cap space. Although they have to pay two off
[5:27] Speaker 2: for two years, so I think we both like it
[5:30] Speaker 2: all right.
[5:30] Speaker 1: Here's another one.
[5:31] Speaker 2: Mike Evans to the forty nine ers, so he is
[5:34] Speaker 2: a big red zone target. They have been hit and
[5:37] Speaker 2: miss on receivers. I thought they over played their hand
[5:40] Speaker 2: on Deebo. He was good, briefly got hurt, moved him.
[5:44] Speaker 2: Iux a disaster. Ricky Piersoll's solid, not great, but you know,
[5:48] Speaker 2: late first round pick. Mike Evans, red zone guy, Kittle, McCaffrey,
[5:53] Speaker 2: Trent Williams. It's again older player picks up the playbook
[5:58] Speaker 2: with Kyle Shanahan quickly a playmaker. It feels like Kyle
[6:03] Speaker 2: Shanahan didn't have a ton of patience with young players.
[6:05] Speaker 1: He likes guys.
[6:06] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it feels like to me he likes
[6:08] Speaker 2: veteran players. So Mike Evans to the Niners again. This
[6:12] Speaker 2: gives brock Purty another weapon. Feels like it works to me.
[6:15] Speaker 3: Yeah, it fits their kind of mold, high character, high
[6:18] Speaker 3: level guy, very productive, you know, Fred Warner, Christian McCaffrey
[6:23] Speaker 3: like that type, human slash player. Ricky Piersall is a
[6:28] Speaker 3: good player, just can't stay on the field, and Juwan
[6:30] Speaker 3: Jennings is going to get a lot of money. So
[6:33] Speaker 3: the IU thing blew up in their face.
[6:36] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[6:36] Speaker 3: I mean, they have a major question mark at the
[6:38] Speaker 3: wide receiver position. And the other thing is the Rams
[6:41] Speaker 3: are loading up on their defensive backfield. So I think
[6:44] Speaker 3: the forty nine Ers had to do something offensively because
[6:46] Speaker 3: you saw in those last couple games against Seattle. Obviously
[6:50] Speaker 3: Kittle went down in the second game, but they just
[6:52] Speaker 3: had no firepower. And the one thing you have to
[6:55] Speaker 3: do the Rams prove this if you have some firepower,
[6:58] Speaker 3: that this is not nineteen eighty seven, the rules are
[7:00] Speaker 3: on your side as an offensive coach. But they were
[7:04] Speaker 3: rolling out practice squad level guys. So you get Mike Evans,
[7:07] Speaker 3: a future Hall of Famer, love That move doesn't shock
[7:10] Speaker 3: me at all. I mean that the forty nine Ers
[7:12] Speaker 3: at this point in time haven't been that active the
[7:14] Speaker 3: last couple of years in free agency, but that's a
[7:17] Speaker 3: Kyle Shanahan tape guy for sure.
[7:19] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[7:20] Speaker 2: I mean, just listen, the entire team gets nicked up.
[7:23] Speaker 2: I mean there's been stories about some right next to
[7:26] Speaker 2: their practice to substation. There's a substation which weakens tissues.
[7:32] Speaker 2: I don't know if it's true, but to me, he
[7:35] Speaker 2: feels so forty nine ers. All right, let me throw
[7:37] Speaker 2: another one at you. We talked about this yesterday. Tyler Lindebaum.
[7:41] Speaker 2: I'm not sure why Baltimore didn't sign him, Probably because
[7:44] Speaker 2: they have a Lamar contract renegotiation coming up, renegotiation coming up.
[7:48] Speaker 2: Max Crosby's expensive, Kyle Hamilton outside of Creed Humphrey of
[7:52] Speaker 2: the Chiefs, there's an argument Tyer Linderbaum is the best
[7:55] Speaker 2: center in football. I thought they were going to resign him.
[7:59] Speaker 2: He was a first round pick out of Iowa. Tough, smart, durable,
[8:03] Speaker 2: doesn't miss a lot of starts.
[8:05] Speaker 1: I love.
[8:06] Speaker 2: This is an A plus move to me by the
[8:08] Speaker 2: Raiders because this is what Ben Johnson did with the Bears.
[8:12] Speaker 1: You know, they went.
[8:13] Speaker 2: Drafted jpj out of Oregon last year. He's more of
[8:16] Speaker 2: a guard. He was a center in college. He's more
[8:19] Speaker 2: of a guard. Then they bring in a Pro Bowl
[8:22] Speaker 2: center for Fernando Mendoza. Now their offense basically, they'll probably
[8:28] Speaker 2: they have so many picks, they'll probably get a receiver
[8:30] Speaker 2: in the second or third round. They'll also probably draft
[8:33] Speaker 2: a right tackle fourth fifth round. I love this to me,
[8:37] Speaker 2: this is my favorite signing so far in free agency.
[8:41] Speaker 3: Well, look at all the good teams, right, The Ravens
[8:43] Speaker 3: for the last four years have had one of the
[8:44] Speaker 3: best centers, The Chiefs have one of the best centers.
[8:47] Speaker 3: The Bills just paid their center. Like, I mean, center
[8:50] Speaker 3: kind of matters, especially when you have a young quarterback.
[8:52] Speaker 3: And I think if you're a Raider fan, you look
[8:53] Speaker 3: at it go. We essentially traded Max Crosby for two
[8:57] Speaker 3: first round picks, one being fourteen and a center who's
[9:00] Speaker 3: one of the better centers in the league. I just look,
[9:02] Speaker 3: he hasn't missed a snap really in the last two years.
[9:05] Speaker 3: So this is a very durable classic like Midwest center.
[9:08] Speaker 1: Right.
[9:09] Speaker 3: The other thing is, I would say this for the
[9:11] Speaker 3: raven standpoint, he was banged up last year, but the
[9:14] Speaker 3: previous two years, when you factor in the center obviously
[9:18] Speaker 3: was an excellent player and likely who accounted for eleven
[9:21] Speaker 3: touchdowns in twenty three and twenty four, was very productive
[9:25] Speaker 3: in their two playoff or their two playoff runs those
[9:28] Speaker 3: two years. Like he's not Kelsey or Kittle or anything,
[9:32] Speaker 3: but he was a unique player for them and made
[9:35] Speaker 3: huge plays, even the play that led to the missfield
[9:38] Speaker 3: goal against Pittsburgh on that Sunday night game. Who made
[9:41] Speaker 3: the crazy catch Isaiah Likely? How many teams have a
[9:44] Speaker 3: six to six guy. I mean, he kind of plays
[9:46] Speaker 3: like a little Darren Waller basketball player, elite athlete. You
[9:50] Speaker 3: just you don't need to be that accurate. Just throw
[9:53] Speaker 3: him a fifty to fifty ball, because it's not a
[9:54] Speaker 3: fifty to fifty ball. So there are some injury concerns.
[9:58] Speaker 3: He's not the most durable player. He is a unique player, though,
[10:02] Speaker 3: So you tell me the Ravens on offense with this
[10:05] Speaker 3: twenty nine year old aging quarterback, new offensive coordinator lose
[10:08] Speaker 3: their you know, kind of just stalwart guy at center
[10:13] Speaker 3: and this unique chess piece with Likely. You know, Henry
[10:16] Speaker 3: still got something in the tank, but he's a little older.
[10:19] Speaker 3: Zay Flowers isn't exactly Jerry Rice. Good player, but I
[10:22] Speaker 3: mean their offense has some question marks, assuming their defense
[10:26] Speaker 3: will improve, which it will, but I don't know. That's
[10:29] Speaker 3: that's to me something to keep an eye on with
[10:31] Speaker 3: the Ravens, who are clearly trying. You know, we talked
[10:34] Speaker 3: about this last night, right Super Bowl or bust. I
[10:37] Speaker 3: mean making it to the super Bowl. They're in this
[10:39] Speaker 3: little couple of year window now of them and the Bills.
[10:42] Speaker 3: There's no well we made the playoffs. That's not really
[10:44] Speaker 3: their standard in their organization now.
[10:48] Speaker 2: Rashawn Gary to Dallas Rusher off the edge. I mean
[10:51] Speaker 2: listen Quinn Williams, Kenny Clark and the trade for Micah
[10:55] Speaker 2: Parsons Rashaun Gary. It allows them to go get a
[10:58] Speaker 2: corner and maybe a Kayla Downs in the draft in
[11:01] Speaker 2: the first round. I mean, that's what it feels like
[11:03] Speaker 2: to me, is that they're they're gonna buy you know,
[11:06] Speaker 2: they're gonna spend money defensively up front. They don't want
[11:08] Speaker 2: to wait for developing players. Jerry Jones is getting older,
[11:11] Speaker 2: Dak's getting older, so they're gonna go buy veteran players
[11:14] Speaker 2: up front, which they have, and then they're gonna draft
[11:17] Speaker 2: on the back end. I still think they're gonna draft
[11:18] Speaker 2: defensive players with their picks in the first round.
[11:21] Speaker 3: Yeah, I think clearly there's gonna be a good defensive
[11:24] Speaker 3: back there with their first pick, which is what is
[11:27] Speaker 3: it thirteen? Like they're gonna get Caleb Downs. Definitely, there's
[11:30] Speaker 3: a chance he's there. When you factor or.
[11:32] Speaker 1: One of the two best corners.
[11:33] Speaker 3: Yeah, so they're gonna get and I think at pick
[11:36] Speaker 3: twenty gives them a little leeway of just they can
[11:38] Speaker 3: take a great player, right who doesn't have to be
[11:41] Speaker 3: a position in need. Say this about the Cowboys. They've
[11:44] Speaker 3: they've drafted pretty well, especially in the first round from
[11:47] Speaker 3: Zach Martin. You know, Zeke was really good. Obviously, Ceedee Lamb.
[11:51] Speaker 1: Like Timers Smith has become a good player, Tylas.
[11:54] Speaker 3: All their offensive linemen have become, you know, starters for
[11:56] Speaker 3: their team. So I one thing you'd say about Jerry
[11:59] Speaker 3: in the front eye office operation, Jerry's not the guy
[12:02] Speaker 3: breaking down seven games on every player right now. He's
[12:04] Speaker 3: the guy front and center when the press conference comes.
[12:07] Speaker 3: But they have a really good scouting staff. So I
[12:09] Speaker 3: think the Cowboys. I was just texting somebody, I think
[12:13] Speaker 3: the Giants this NFC East. You know the Eagles, they
[12:17] Speaker 3: lose Jalen Phillips. Their pass rush when they won the
[12:19] Speaker 3: Super Bowl a couple of years ago was like historically great.
[12:22] Speaker 3: I think they had four guys get double digit sacks. Well,
[12:24] Speaker 3: since then, Brandon Graham retired, came back, probably retire again.
[12:28] Speaker 3: Fletcher Cox is gone. Obviously, Sweat is now on the Cardinals.
[12:33] Speaker 3: They have this Jalen Carter situation, who is an elite talent,
[12:36] Speaker 3: but they are very uncomfortable paying him forty forty five
[12:39] Speaker 3: million dollars. So it's like, now you look at the Giants,
[12:42] Speaker 3: who have some stability. The Cowboys offensively have been fantastic.
[12:46] Speaker 3: Shottenheim approved, Like, he's a pretty good offensive play call.
[12:49] Speaker 3: If their defense is just solid, they're gonna be a
[12:51] Speaker 3: pretty interesting team. So you gotta have the Giants and
[12:53] Speaker 3: the Cowboys. Like that division is going to be, to me,
[12:56] Speaker 3: dramatically more competitive than I would say it's been over
[12:59] Speaker 3: the last ten year years when it's basically just been
[13:01] Speaker 3: the Eagles, or those couple of years with McCarthy when
[13:04] Speaker 3: the Cowboys were pretty loaded. But now the Commanders, I
[13:08] Speaker 3: think Commanders still have a lot of question marks. I
[13:10] Speaker 3: think they clearly wanted Linderbaum, But what did the Raiders have.
[13:13] Speaker 3: No state income tax could offer a huge amount of money.
[13:16] Speaker 3: You just have a fresh slate. Here come you get
[13:18] Speaker 3: to be the team captain. So the Commanders had cut
[13:21] Speaker 3: their center. He's now on the Chargers. I'm sure they
[13:23] Speaker 3: wanted linder Bomb. They don't have that. Their roster's kind
[13:26] Speaker 3: of old to begin with, so and the Eagles just
[13:29] Speaker 3: got a lot of moving parts. Now, they still got
[13:31] Speaker 3: a lot of talent and talent in the NFL matters,
[13:34] Speaker 3: but man, there's just that division to me, has gotten
[13:37] Speaker 3: a lot more interesting in the last couple months.
[13:40] Speaker 2: I would say Kenneth Walker from Seattle to Kansas City again,
[13:44] Speaker 2: he's great after contact gets dinged up, but they have
[13:47] Speaker 2: no juice. They're losing backs to free agency. They have
[13:49] Speaker 2: no juice in the backfield. I also thought this made
[13:52] Speaker 2: sense because they don't have a ton of draft picks,
[13:55] Speaker 2: but it allows them. Now their first pick could be
[13:57] Speaker 2: the right tackle Fino from Utah.
[14:01] Speaker 1: They need a corner for McDuffie. They need an edge rusher.
[14:03] Speaker 2: They have three big needs now with Kenneth Walker, they'll
[14:05] Speaker 2: probably draft another running back later in the draft.
[14:08] Speaker 1: It's not a good running back draft.
[14:10] Speaker 2: So I mean to me, Kenneth Walker is more valuable
[14:15] Speaker 2: that This sounds weird to say as a Super Bowl MVP,
[14:17] Speaker 2: but I think because of Charbonnay with the Seahawks as
[14:20] Speaker 2: a backup, they have another couple backs in Seattle that
[14:23] Speaker 2: are you know, spot players. They don't play a ton,
[14:26] Speaker 2: but I think Kenneth Walker or the Chiefs feels incredibly valuable.
[14:31] Speaker 2: And with Seattle, not that he was disposable, but they
[14:34] Speaker 2: have such a stacked roster. It feels like if they
[14:36] Speaker 2: drafted another running back in the fourth round, one of
[14:38] Speaker 2: the Penn State running back in the third round, You're like,
[14:41] Speaker 2: they're fine.
[14:42] Speaker 1: I think Kansas City had to do this.
[14:44] Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think they had a choice either. I
[14:47] Speaker 3: think it's pretty clear to them too.
[14:48] Speaker 2: Now.
[14:49] Speaker 3: I don't think they would have taken Jeremiah of but
[14:51] Speaker 3: at this point in time, you're weighing all your options.
[14:54] Speaker 3: I think they understand that that wasn't even going to
[14:56] Speaker 3: be an option at pick nine, so you go, unquote
[15:00] Speaker 3: overpay me. They gave him a substantial amount of money
[15:02] Speaker 3: three years, forty five million dollars, almost guarantee him thirty
[15:05] Speaker 3: Remember a couple of years ago, that was essentially what
[15:07] Speaker 3: Howie Roseman gave Sakquaud Barkley. So these running backs, they've
[15:10] Speaker 3: been on zoom calls, always bitching the mona. They don't
[15:12] Speaker 3: get any money like this has been a lot better
[15:14] Speaker 3: the last couple of years. You know, the money has
[15:17] Speaker 3: gravitated toward them. Listen, the Chiefs, they weren't gonna let
[15:21] Speaker 3: Baltimore and Buffalo have all the fun like Andy Reid.
[15:24] Speaker 3: They don't plan on I know a lot of people
[15:27] Speaker 3: talk about this, I'll just have an off year and
[15:29] Speaker 3: they ain't mailing anything in their game plan is mahomes
[15:32] Speaker 3: start in week one. They plan on winning. They get
[15:34] Speaker 3: a plug and play running back. Now, one thing that
[15:37] Speaker 3: he's gonna have to prove he can do Andy like's
[15:40] Speaker 3: throwing the ball to the back, right, Shady McCoy, Brian Westbrook,
[15:44] Speaker 3: Jamal Charles when he first got to Kansas City does.
[15:47] Speaker 3: So It's like, now, could they maybe want to adapt
[15:50] Speaker 3: a little bit to take some pressure who they bring back?
[15:53] Speaker 3: Eric b Enemy What's he a running back guy?
[15:56] Speaker 1: Right?
[15:56] Speaker 3: So maybe they want to take a little pressure off
[15:59] Speaker 3: coming up off an injury, right, coming off at ACL
[16:02] Speaker 3: They're not gonna want him to throw forty fifty times
[16:04] Speaker 3: a game like he did earlier in his career. So
[16:05] Speaker 3: could they maybe try to lean on Kenneth Walker a
[16:09] Speaker 3: little bit more? Now that would be very opposite of
[16:12] Speaker 3: Andy's history. But listen, what do talented people in eddie
[16:16] Speaker 3: industry do? They adapt? They change Andy's changed how many
[16:19] Speaker 3: times his offense? His offense now ask anyone is dramatically
[16:22] Speaker 3: different than it was ten years ago, twenty years ago.
[16:24] Speaker 1: So what if you.
[16:25] Speaker 3: Tell everyone, I don't think many people in the league
[16:27] Speaker 3: would believe you they're a rushing team this year. Right,
[16:30] Speaker 3: they got a good guard, they got a good center,
[16:31] Speaker 3: they got a young stud left tackle. Like you said,
[16:33] Speaker 3: what if they draft a right tackle and they go,
[16:35] Speaker 3: you know what, why don't we do some Kyle Shanahan
[16:38] Speaker 3: and just run the ball, take a little pressure off
[16:41] Speaker 3: our quarterback, build up our young defense with our stud coordinator.
[16:45] Speaker 3: So what if the Chiefs are their game plan this
[16:48] Speaker 3: year is to be one of the better rushing teams.
[16:51] Speaker 3: Look at you know, the Bills with Cook. Now Cook's
[16:54] Speaker 3: a better player than Walker. But what if the Chiefs
[16:56] Speaker 3: are about to throw a little curveball here and become
[16:58] Speaker 3: a running offense.
[17:00] Speaker 2: Do you think Travis Kelcey signs with them or somebody else?
[17:03] Speaker 3: Well, I thought he was gonna go to the Giants,
[17:04] Speaker 3: and then they signed likely and that's not happening. I mean,
[17:07] Speaker 3: by all accounts, maybe they're just as a tie that
[17:10] Speaker 3: I undervalue a little bit. This is a unique player
[17:14] Speaker 3: with a unique connection to Andy and the Chiefs and
[17:17] Speaker 3: for the right price. I mean, at this point in time,
[17:19] Speaker 3: he's so wealthy on and off the field that maybe
[17:23] Speaker 3: he's just cool with Like, hey man, I understand, I'm
[17:25] Speaker 3: not a fifteen million dollar a year player anymore. Could
[17:27] Speaker 3: we go like five and incentivize that up if I
[17:30] Speaker 3: give you ten touchdowns? But this is where I want
[17:32] Speaker 3: to be. These are my people which I value. I
[17:35] Speaker 3: think I do understand from a player standpoint of seeing
[17:39] Speaker 3: some you know, Kobe Bryant types, like this is the
[17:41] Speaker 3: only franchise I ever played with, even though historically that's
[17:44] Speaker 3: not really how the NFL works. So I am a
[17:47] Speaker 3: little surprised if it does work out. But I think
[17:49] Speaker 3: the reason that we haven't seen it yet is the
[17:51] Speaker 3: Chiefs aren't just gonna well, Travis, here's the check. You
[17:55] Speaker 3: fill it in, like those days are kind of over
[17:57] Speaker 3: because he wasn't great last year, Colin, I mean the drops,
[18:02] Speaker 3: he definitely looked his aim, So I think he got
[18:05] Speaker 3: to be very careful and Andy has been over the
[18:08] Speaker 3: course of his career of kind of you know, separating
[18:12] Speaker 3: the emotional connection to the human in the past, right,
[18:15] Speaker 3: But this might just be a really tough one given that,
[18:18] Speaker 3: I mean, Andy says, well, I might owe some Super
[18:20] Speaker 3: Bowls to this guy, right, I mean he's so I do. Listen,
[18:25] Speaker 3: We're all human beings. So this is probably really tough
[18:28] Speaker 3: internally for Veach and Andy.
[18:30] Speaker 1: This is most.
[18:30] Speaker 3: Players they'd say, hey, see, godspeed, good luck at what
[18:33] Speaker 3: you can because this is this is a little abnormal
[18:36] Speaker 3: to what good teams do in the NFL. Right, But
[18:40] Speaker 3: maybe there's just a connection that unless you really in
[18:43] Speaker 3: that building with these guys every day, that I even
[18:46] Speaker 3: undervalue from the outside.

[19:57] Speaker 2: New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia.
[20:04] Speaker 1: So I defended.
[20:08] Speaker 2: Bam out of by you in the heard and here
[20:11] Speaker 2: here's what my two things is. First of all, if
[20:15] Speaker 2: Jah Morant scored eighty three, far less of a player
[20:19] Speaker 2: than Bam out of by you, not even the same
[20:21] Speaker 2: stratos fare. Bam is just bigger, more mature, more reliable.
[20:27] Speaker 2: Two time Olympian, five time All Defense. But if Jah
[20:31] Speaker 2: Morant scored eighty three, people would celebrate it because he's cool. Aesthetically,
[20:38] Speaker 2: he's appealing, it would look cool. There'd be at least
[20:41] Speaker 2: like four unbelievable spinning plays. Bam scores eighty three, and
[20:45] Speaker 2: it's like, what, my neighbor in waste management has a
[20:49] Speaker 2: nicer house than I do this. I don't like this
[20:51] Speaker 2: at all. It'd be one thing if it was Ben Affleck.
[20:54] Speaker 2: It's like, you know, I tend to think in the
[20:57] Speaker 2: NBA style matters, and I think it's off putting for
[21:02] Speaker 2: Bam to shoot forty three free throws when he averages five.
[21:06] Speaker 2: And I mean Kobe Bryant stayed in a game against
[21:11] Speaker 2: an awful Raptors team and scored in the last four
[21:15] Speaker 2: and a half minutes eleven points in a route. He
[21:19] Speaker 2: was in the seventies, he was high sixties, seventies, and
[21:22] Speaker 2: he just kept going and people celebrated it. There was
[21:25] Speaker 2: no pushback. I mean, in the fourth quarter, he's one
[21:28] Speaker 2: of only one of the only Lakers that took a shot.
[21:30] Speaker 2: He was like he shot like fourteen to the seventeen shot,
[21:33] Speaker 2: and nobody batter than I. But Bam does it, and
[21:37] Speaker 2: I think I just don't think stylistically, we feel like
[21:40] Speaker 2: he's the guy that should do it.
[21:42] Speaker 1: So that's that's why I defended it. Could not disagree more.
[21:47] Speaker 1: I don't personally think it has much to do with
[21:50] Speaker 1: BAM or his style. I definitely think it has some
[21:52] Speaker 1: to do with Kobe. But you brought up Kobe. Let's
[21:55] Speaker 1: just go back to the eighty one. It became a blowout,
[22:00] Speaker 1: but I just pulled it up, so I have it
[22:01] Speaker 1: exactly correct. They were down seven after the first, they
[22:06] Speaker 1: were down fourteen at half, and they were up six
[22:10] Speaker 1: going into the fourth quarter that game. That game was
[22:14] Speaker 1: a real game. Now, was Kobe going for the record? Yes?
[22:19] Speaker 1: Did Kobe take all of the shots late, no doubt
[22:23] Speaker 1: about it. But Kobe did that all the time, like
[22:28] Speaker 1: Kobe could be a bit of a ball hog. I
[22:31] Speaker 1: mean that was literally, at one point in the fourth
[22:33] Speaker 1: quarter a six point game. I think that Bam is
[22:38] Speaker 1: a great story, a very very very good player, All
[22:42] Speaker 1: Star Olympian. He worshiped Kobe Bryant. He clearly has friends
[22:47] Speaker 1: in the league, respecting the league. I mean, Durant came
[22:49] Speaker 1: out and supported him immediately. Jannis Lebron, he's a well
[22:54] Speaker 1: liked pros pro who's one of the best defensive players
[22:56] Speaker 1: of his era. I thought it was cool that Asia
[22:58] Speaker 1: Wilson was there. I have a group chat of people
[23:01] Speaker 1: who really care about the NBA, and BAM having forty
[23:05] Speaker 1: three at halftime hit the group chat. My wife was
[23:08] Speaker 1: out to dinner. I was watching Wemby against the Celtics.
[23:13] Speaker 1: So when BAM has forty three at halftime, I'm like, oh,
[23:15] Speaker 1: that's interesting. I'll throw it on the second TV on
[23:19] Speaker 1: the league pass. Then BAM has over sixty through three
[23:24] Speaker 1: and I'm like, Okay, something's clearly happening here. What's main
[23:29] Speaker 1: TV it with volume? Jalen Brown had been ejected by
[23:32] Speaker 1: this point from the Celtics. Let's flip the screen situation.
[23:35] Speaker 1: I'm gonna lock in on this. So I did not
[23:38] Speaker 1: watch like highlights of it or box score it. I
[23:41] Speaker 1: watched the second half of that basketball game. Sometimes the
[23:46] Speaker 1: story is the record, and I know it's not the
[23:49] Speaker 1: Wilts is the record, but it's the modern scoring record.
[23:52] Speaker 1: Sometimes the story is the record. Other times the story
[23:56] Speaker 1: is how you got the record, how Michael Strahan got
[24:00] Speaker 1: the single season sack record. It became more about how
[24:04] Speaker 1: we got it than the record. Doesn't mean he wasn't
[24:07] Speaker 1: a great player, doesn't mean it wasn't a great season,
[24:11] Speaker 1: But getting the last one against Farv. When Farv laid down,
[24:14] Speaker 1: we're like, Eh, that doesn't sit right, doesn't look right.
[24:17] Speaker 1: Don't love it. When David Robinson won the scoring title
[24:21] Speaker 1: over Shack, the Clippers sat all the starters after five minutes.
[24:25] Speaker 1: He was clearly gunning for it. He got seventy one.
[24:28] Speaker 1: We don't talk about it as an all time great
[24:30] Speaker 1: scoring accomplishment. We talk about it as eh kind of game.
[24:33] Speaker 1: The system a little bit, but okay, he's the scoring champion.
[24:38] Speaker 1: The last six or seven minutes of that basketball game
[24:40] Speaker 1: last night, it was just not basketball. They are intentionally
[24:44] Speaker 1: fouling to maximize possessions. Up twenty five in the fourth
[24:48] Speaker 1: quarter against the Wizards, Doctor Spolster is challenging offensive fouls
[24:55] Speaker 1: on Bam on a charge with four minutes left in
[24:57] Speaker 1: a twenty point game to try to get him free throws.
[25:01] Speaker 1: His teammates are intentionally missing free throws to try to
[25:05] Speaker 1: get him extra possessions. Like I have. It was a
[25:08] Speaker 1: great game. I have no problem with them going for
[25:11] Speaker 1: the record. I have no problem with it, but when
[25:13] Speaker 1: you are manipulating possessions in order to do it, and
[25:20] Speaker 1: Kobe's yes, he shot all the shots, but it was
[25:23] Speaker 1: at least a competitive game. Minutes into the fourth quarter,
[25:29] Speaker 1: it became a blowout because of his dominance.
[25:33] Speaker 4: I just.
[25:35] Speaker 1: I didn't like how he got the record. It doesn't
[25:39] Speaker 1: mean it wasn't an all time great performance. When Klay
[25:41] Speaker 1: Thompson scored sixty two on twenty nine minutes, he sat
[25:44] Speaker 1: the fourth. When Kobe had sixty five I think against
[25:48] Speaker 1: the Mavericks and they were blowing them out, he sat
[25:51] Speaker 1: the fourth. There's just like there was something about it
[25:54] Speaker 1: that just didn't sit right if you were watching it,
[25:57] Speaker 1: because he didn't get it by playing real basketball.
[26:02] Speaker 2: If he'd ha scored he had sixty two at the
[26:04] Speaker 2: end of three, if he just ended with seventy one
[26:08] Speaker 2: and they didn't do that, you're saying if he just
[26:10] Speaker 2: scored sixty eight and didn't do that, it sits much
[26:13] Speaker 2: better with Yeah.
[26:14] Speaker 1: Of course, I mean, We've Booker, Lillard, Luca, they all
[26:18] Speaker 1: have seventy point games. Like it's scoring is going up.
[26:22] Speaker 1: Teams are tanking, teams are bad like all of those.
[26:26] Speaker 1: When David Robinson did it, it hadn't happened since David Thompson,
[26:29] Speaker 1: and there were three guys ever to do it. Then
[26:32] Speaker 1: after David Robinson did it, there was a long gap
[26:34] Speaker 1: until Kobe did it. Then there's it's happening more regularly.
[26:37] Speaker 1: Like I was going back and forth on sound Tariico
[26:41] Speaker 1: and Reggie during the Celtics game are talking about what
[26:46] Speaker 1: Bam did and Reggie's like openly opening that someone's gonna
[26:49] Speaker 1: get a hundred, and he's I mean, he's he's right
[26:52] Speaker 1: if what happened last night is immediately celebrated when it's
[26:57] Speaker 1: not basketball, like someone's gonna get hot, a team is
[27:01] Speaker 1: going to decide to game it and go for it,
[27:04] Speaker 1: and that guy will be hot from three. Damn took
[27:06] Speaker 1: a bunch of threes. He only hit like seven of
[27:07] Speaker 1: them he shot. He shot less than fifty percent from
[27:11] Speaker 1: the floor. So like, and I know people have been
[27:15] Speaker 1: in my mentions and comments all day, like all you do,
[27:18] Speaker 1: all you guys do, is you just want to complain
[27:20] Speaker 1: about basketball, Like I promise, I love basketball. I was
[27:23] Speaker 1: watching two games by myself on a weeknight in the
[27:28] Speaker 1: regular season. I love the sport. I just don't like
[27:31] Speaker 1: how he got it. And here's a take or a
[27:35] Speaker 1: theory that I haven't said publicly. I wanted to save
[27:37] Speaker 1: it for you. I think because he Kobe was his
[27:41] Speaker 1: favorite player. I think if he would have tied him
[27:45] Speaker 1: at eighty one, no complaints. I think if he would have,
[27:51] Speaker 1: I think if he would have done it as a
[27:53] Speaker 1: tribute to Kobe, it would have been like, oh my god,
[27:57] Speaker 1: how cool, and like, yeah, the Wizards, and yeah, they
[28:02] Speaker 1: were gunning for it. But there is something about Kobe's
[28:06] Speaker 1: eighty one in the flow of a game and BAM's
[28:11] Speaker 1: eighty three when he is being triple teamed and his
[28:14] Speaker 1: teammates are passing up layups and they're intentionally following guys
[28:18] Speaker 1: and challenging calls and missing free throws. It wasn't basketball.
[28:23] Speaker 1: I have no other way to describe it other than
[28:24] Speaker 1: it wasn't basketball. And so I just I don't want
[28:28] Speaker 1: it to take away from Bam because it was cool.
[28:31] Speaker 1: But I can't sit here and celebrate it in the
[28:34] Speaker 1: same way as Kobe Bryant's I can't. I can't do
[28:38] Speaker 1: it reasonable biens can disagree. Here's another take I had.
[28:46] Speaker 1: I said, through.
[28:51] Speaker 2: Lebron's career, you know, it's almost like I used the
[28:57] Speaker 2: example of David Schwimmer on Friends, he could be a
[29:01] Speaker 2: mobster in his next ten roles.
[29:03] Speaker 1: To me, he's ross on Friends. He's been type cast.
[29:07] Speaker 2: Yeah, kind of the whiny kind of. He was such
[29:12] Speaker 2: a strong character on Friends and he played it for
[29:15] Speaker 2: so long.
[29:16] Speaker 1: That's what and who he is.
[29:18] Speaker 2: And so similarly Lebron has been type cast. Is that
[29:23] Speaker 2: Lebron makes everything work. He and Dwayne Wade were not
[29:26] Speaker 2: a perfect fit. Neither was really a great catch and
[29:30] Speaker 2: shoot guy. The team had no center or no true point,
[29:33] Speaker 2: but they work because of sheer athleticism. He and Kyrie
[29:37] Speaker 2: Irving shouldn't have worked. Kyrie needs the ball, Kyrie plays
[29:41] Speaker 2: no defense, and yet Lebron made that work. Lebron made
[29:47] Speaker 2: Ilguni z Alguscus work in Cleveland, got him to a finals.
[29:50] Speaker 2: He made him suddenly. We talked about this guy as
[29:53] Speaker 2: this energy guy without much touch.
[29:55] Speaker 1: Is just unbelievable.
[29:57] Speaker 2: Anthony Davis had a label as a soft player, didn't
[30:00] Speaker 2: fight through injuries, not in great shape. No, he wins
[30:04] Speaker 2: with him too, and it's perfect so every Matthew Delavandoba Jr.
[30:08] Speaker 2: Smith was a broken player everything for twenty years, Lebron
[30:12] Speaker 2: had been tighte cast.
[30:13] Speaker 1: It just works. So then when he plays with Luca,
[30:17] Speaker 1: it's like, of.
[30:18] Speaker 2: Course, this one is the easy one, and it's the
[30:22] Speaker 2: one that doesn't because neither wants to be off ball.
[30:28] Speaker 2: Lucas so much better at this point than Lebron is,
[30:31] Speaker 2: so Lebron has to play off ball. He's having a
[30:33] Speaker 2: bad jump shooting season, and if you play with Luca,
[30:37] Speaker 2: you have to be good defensively to cover up his flaws.
[30:41] Speaker 2: That's why the one time he went to the finals
[30:44] Speaker 2: with Dallas Big Athletic, they acquire that trade deadline PJ
[30:49] Speaker 2: Washington Rim Protectors. Suddenly you're like, oh, Lucas stinks on defense,
[30:53] Speaker 2: it doesn't matter. He just pushes people to this, then
[30:55] Speaker 2: takes off, pushes people, runs him off the three point line.
[30:59] Speaker 2: So there's a way to build around bad defensive players.
[31:03] Speaker 2: Steph Kyrie. Well, Lebron never was that, and so there's
[31:08] Speaker 2: this belief that Lebron and Luca it will eventually work.
[31:13] Speaker 2: It's over a year in the net rating, the defensive rating,
[31:18] Speaker 2: it's atrocious. When Lebron and Luca are together. In fact,
[31:22] Speaker 2: when Luca and Austin are together, it's fantastic, and nobody
[31:26] Speaker 2: wants to hear this. Luca and Austin are great Luca
[31:32] Speaker 2: without Austin, and no, Lebron's great Austin. Just take Lebron
[31:37] Speaker 2: out of all the plus minuses. Everything works unless you
[31:43] Speaker 2: put Lebron in it on the Lakers, and nobody quite
[31:47] Speaker 2: knows what to make of it because he's still a
[31:48] Speaker 2: very good player. Yeah, Lebron is still a very good player.
[31:56] Speaker 2: It's the Laker's fault in terms of the row, their
[32:00] Speaker 2: construction because to your point, they were together last year,
[32:03] Speaker 2: and we've watched Lebron and Luca long enough we should know.
[32:07] Speaker 2: But I think there's a time when Lebron and Luca
[32:11] Speaker 2: could have worked, but not when Lebron's forty one, because
[32:16] Speaker 2: I mean, Lebron was first Team All Defense I think
[32:20] Speaker 2: two thousand and nine to twenty thirteen. Like he's not
[32:24] Speaker 2: he doesn't have as many he doesn't have as many
[32:26] Speaker 2: as yeah, six times all in his twenties. But there
[32:30] Speaker 2: are no great defensive players in the NBA in their
[32:33] Speaker 2: mid thirties on.
[32:34] Speaker 1: They're just not And so that's the thing, like there
[32:37] Speaker 1: was a point in time when Lebron and Luca obviously
[32:40] Speaker 1: could have worked, but it is not when Lebron is
[32:43] Speaker 1: in his forties and everybody should know that. So you know,
[32:49] Speaker 1: they haven't played a ton of minutes together this year,
[32:52] Speaker 1: relatively speaking, But we want to make them a story
[32:58] Speaker 1: because they're good for ratings. It's the Lakers, it's celebrity.
[33:02] Speaker 1: Lebron matters a lot to the league, and like it's
[33:06] Speaker 1: a good offensive team. They're fun, yeah, exactly right, and
[33:09] Speaker 1: you and you like when they walk onto the court,
[33:14] Speaker 1: feels like, oh yeah, it feels big, and it's like
[33:17] Speaker 1: and I'll admit, like I'm like, damn, that's an impressive five.
[33:21] Speaker 1: Like you know, like when you like when they when
[33:22] Speaker 1: they walk onto the cart, You're like, why any given
[33:24] Speaker 1: night it feels like they could score one and twenty
[33:27] Speaker 1: five points and just Andrews outscore you. But the West
[33:31] Speaker 1: is too good and like the thunder are too good defensively,
[33:35] Speaker 1: and the Rockets are too good defensively, and the Spurs
[33:37] Speaker 1: are way too good defensively, and the Wolves are too athletic,
[33:41] Speaker 1: Like they're drawing dead. They're they're they are, they are
[33:44] Speaker 1: They'll make the playoffs and they are drawing dead. But
[33:47] Speaker 1: they have so much star power and brand power that
[33:51] Speaker 1: people like us almost feel compelled frankly to talk about
[33:54] Speaker 1: them because it's good for business. But like, I can't
[33:58] Speaker 1: tell you how many times I've seen like Lakers contender
[34:00] Speaker 1: or pretender. I've been on shows for the questions like Lakers,
[34:05] Speaker 1: they are not a contender. They're not a contender. Nope,
[34:08] Speaker 1: it's very obvious and like and so, like they're worse
[34:12] Speaker 1: with Lebron. Is that Lebron's fault if he is still
[34:16] Speaker 1: very good and he's forty one and he's like, well,
[34:19] Speaker 1: you guys want me to be Scottie Pippen, Like I'm
[34:22] Speaker 1: not that anymore. Like so, I just I guess it's
[34:25] Speaker 1: a criticism of Lebron, But at forty one years old,
[34:28] Speaker 1: I don't expect him to be a lockdown defensive player,
[34:31] Speaker 1: given that that's never happened in the history of the.
[34:33] Speaker 2: Sport Bears nine and a half is that the easiest
[34:38] Speaker 2: bet of the offseason. Bears have added Kobe Bryant, Devin Bush,
[34:46] Speaker 2: Bradley the center, Caleb's gonna get better second year. They
[34:50] Speaker 2: by the way they play the NFC South and the
[34:54] Speaker 2: AFC East, so you know they're beating the Dolphins and
[34:57] Speaker 2: the Jets and a.
[35:00] Speaker 1: Half, and I love I love it. The the regression
[35:06] Speaker 1: case is simple. They had seven comeback wins, they led
[35:10] Speaker 1: the league in takeaways, and left guard, center, right guard,
[35:16] Speaker 1: right tackle all played over ninety percent of your snaps.
[35:19] Speaker 1: So you're gonna have some offensive line injuries, and obviously
[35:22] Speaker 1: the Dolmin injury, you already you've already lost your center
[35:25] Speaker 1: out out of that equation. So there's gonna be it's
[35:27] Speaker 1: gonna be a different offensive line, even if they're bringing
[35:29] Speaker 1: the other you know, three pieces back. You know, that's
[35:33] Speaker 1: that's the three prongs case for regression is what I
[35:36] Speaker 1: just said. Offensive line won't be as healthy as it was,
[35:39] Speaker 1: you won't lead the league in takeaways, and you're not
[35:41] Speaker 1: gonna have seven fourth quarter comebacks. But Caleb is gonna
[35:45] Speaker 1: be better. He's just he is going to be better.
[35:49] Speaker 2: And the well Colston loved on Luther Burden at the
[35:52] Speaker 2: end of the year were accelerating. They became like like
[35:55] Speaker 2: like Colston Lovelin became is he like the second best
[35:57] Speaker 2: tight end and correct?
[35:58] Speaker 1: And I think so, Yeah, I think the Bears have
[36:01] Speaker 1: an incredibly high offensive ceiling this year. Like, I think
[36:05] Speaker 1: they're going into the year thinking that they can be
[36:07] Speaker 1: the best offense in football. Now, probably a third of
[36:10] Speaker 1: the league believes that. Dallas believes it, the Rams believe it,
[36:14] Speaker 1: the Jaguars believe it, the you know, the Niners believe it.
[36:18] Speaker 1: So I'm not saying I'm not saying I'm picking them
[36:20] Speaker 1: to be the number one offensive football but like, they
[36:21] Speaker 1: absolutely are going to go into the year thinking that
[36:24] Speaker 1: they can be. The schedule point that you made is
[36:27] Speaker 1: a good one, and that's the like Caleb's improvement in
[36:30] Speaker 1: year two under Ben Johnson, year three in the league,
[36:32] Speaker 1: like it's the year for the leap, and he got
[36:36] Speaker 1: better every month during the season last year as he
[36:39] Speaker 1: was learning the system. So I cannot even imagine how
[36:42] Speaker 1: big of a leap he can take from year two
[36:44] Speaker 1: to year three. So yeah, you're not gonna hear me
[36:47] Speaker 1: coming on here and being like I think the Bears
[36:49] Speaker 1: are an eight win team. No shot, the.
