Colin is joined by Danny Parkins, host of “First Things First” on FS1. They start with Bill Belichick not making the Hall of Fame on the first ballot and Colin recaps all the cheating scandals the Patriots were involved in, and that the people claiming his first year exclusion is outrageous… are suffering from collective amnesia (3:00). They debate whether his exclusion is outrageous as the national chatter would have you believe, how much credit Robert Kraft deserves for the Pats success (12:00), and why Tom Brady is probably still underrated despite his accolades (19:15). They discuss Mike McCarthy being hired by the Steelers and Colin argues that while the move wasn’t inspiring, it was safe… and that’s ok (31:00). Danny believes the time is now for Pittsburgh to clean house and try to secure a blue chip quarterback prospect, and Colin offers his theory as to why the Steelers refuse to bottom out (37:15). They discuss the Lakers win over the Bulls in a game where LeBron James at 41 years old was still the best player on the floor in the first half & why it will be hard for him to hang it up (42:45). They preview the Super Bowl & Colin predicts the young Seahawks roster could play tight under the bright lights and that the Pats experience might lead to him picking them to win, but Danny argues the Pats are a bit lucky to be there & not as dominant as Seattle (51:30). They debate where to rank Sam Darnold in the quarterback hierarchy if he wins the Super Bowl, and why Darnold’s redemption arc should provide hope for other young quarterbacks who landed in bad situations as rookies (58:00). Finally, Colin recaps the experience of his first winter in Chicago and why living in a cold city leads to more passionate sports fanbases (1:04:30). (Timestamps may vary based on advertisements.) [0:03] Speaker 2: Sam donald Slinging Sammy d is the Louisiana Hot Sauce
[0:08] Speaker 2: Player of the Week, You name him player of the Year.
[0:11] Speaker 2: He finished with three hundred and forty sticks passing yards
[0:14] Speaker 2: three touchdowns. Seattle's went over the Rams. My guy, Sam
[0:17] Speaker 2: Darnald becomes the first quarterback from the twenty eighteen draft
[0:20] Speaker 2: class to make a Super Bowl. Yeah, the original Louisiana
[0:25] Speaker 2: Hot sauce stuff is so good.
[0:28] Speaker 3: Pepper's vinegar, salt.
[0:29] Speaker 2: I put it on chips, eggs, nachos, burger I put
[0:33] Speaker 2: it on everything.
[0:34] Speaker 3: I'm having a cocktail. I knocks him in there too.
[0:36] Speaker 2: Hit any tailgate food with a bold, handcrafted flavor of
[0:39] Speaker 2: the original Louisiana Hot sauce. That is Louisiana Hot. Buy
[0:43] Speaker 2: you some, all right, I'm not sure where it's gonna go.
[0:51] Speaker 3: We never do.
[0:52] Speaker 2: It's Danny Parkins, So I'm gonna throw this out. So
[0:55] Speaker 2: when I used to take phone calls on my show,
[1:00] Speaker 2: which was mostly ESPN days, then when I started doing
[1:03] Speaker 2: it as a TV show and a radio show, this
[1:06] Speaker 2: it's like TV shows don't take phone calls, but I
[1:08] Speaker 2: for years, So I stopped taking them for a while.
[1:12] Speaker 2: On the Patriots, because every single caller was they're cheaters.
[1:17] Speaker 2: So what has happened in America, Danny is collective amnesia.
[1:22] Speaker 2: So during the Patriots run, and I think I was
[1:26] Speaker 2: the biggest pro Patriots supporter or defender during their run
[1:30] Speaker 2: on national radio. Obviously the Boston radio guys were mostly
[1:35] Speaker 2: in support of it. There was Spygate one, they lost
[1:39] Speaker 2: a first round draft pick and the coach was fined
[1:41] Speaker 2: half a million dollars. That's pretty serious. That's like Houston
[1:46] Speaker 2: Astro's level. You're losing top picks. There was Spygate two,
[1:51] Speaker 2: which people forget about, where they were fined and lost.
[1:55] Speaker 2: And that was by the way, in like the twenty
[1:56] Speaker 2: twenty one it was a Bengals Browns game.
[1:59] Speaker 3: They lost eighth third round pick.
[2:01] Speaker 2: There was defleet gate where they were fined a million
[2:05] Speaker 2: dollars had lost another first round pick. When you have
[2:08] Speaker 2: three gates on your resume, it is reasonable. I said
[2:14] Speaker 2: this today on the show. If you have three asterisks,
[2:17] Speaker 2: I think it's reasonable to ask should we pause or collectively?
[2:24] Speaker 2: Yet today it is viewed as outrageous if we go,
[2:31] Speaker 2: you know, how about a little punishment. Just wait for
[2:36] Speaker 2: a year, since you know, Vince Lombardi, Bill Walsh, and
[2:40] Speaker 2: Joe Gibbs had to wait five years to be eligible
[2:43] Speaker 2: and still didn't get in in their first So it's
[2:45] Speaker 2: funny how the pendulum has swung the American sports fans, Danny.
[2:50] Speaker 2: They want a happy ending. We know that movies do tests.
[2:54] Speaker 2: People don't like negative endings. They get furious with the
[2:57] Speaker 2: Patriots when they get in the way of Super Bowls
[3:00] Speaker 2: and great seasons and get in the way of their
[3:03] Speaker 2: team Spygate two to play Gate, but they also don't
[3:07] Speaker 2: like when you get in the way of Belichick's Hall
[3:10] Speaker 2: of Fame voting. It's a sad ending because they want
[3:13] Speaker 2: to they don't want the turbulence. But it is as
[3:15] Speaker 2: if there's a collective amnesia. Is that I literally the
[3:19] Speaker 2: whole dynasty Kansas City, it was rigged their dynasty because
[3:25] Speaker 2: everybody loved mahomes. W's rigged New England's dynasty. Is they're
[3:28] Speaker 2: just cheaters, And today when you suggest one year punishment's
[3:34] Speaker 2: not the end of the world, people are outraged. It
[3:36] Speaker 2: feels like collective.
[3:37] Speaker 3: Amnesia to me. So there's obviously a ton of wrinkles
[3:41] Speaker 3: to this story, and there's no doubt collective amnesia, Like
[3:45] Speaker 3: the same people who are outraged at the cheating are
[3:48] Speaker 3: now outraged at the exclusion from the Hall of Fame.
[3:50] Speaker 3: That is obviously logically inconsistent. But I do think it
[3:57] Speaker 3: was ridiculous that he didn't get into the Pro Football
[3:59] Speaker 3: Hall of Fame on the first ballot. And I will
[4:01] Speaker 3: tell you why. In baseball, there is a morality clause. Yes,
[4:07] Speaker 3: it's written into it. There are like instructions impact on
[4:12] Speaker 3: the game, accomplishments, morality, integrity of the game. The Pro
[4:18] Speaker 3: Football of Fame it just tells you who you can
[4:21] Speaker 3: vote for. There is no guiding principle.
[4:26] Speaker 2: By the way, it's basically only fans with cleats and
[4:29] Speaker 2: a helmet. You can do anything you want or now
[4:31] Speaker 2: there's no guidelines and it's and.
[4:34] Speaker 3: I'm sure you voted for things in your in your career,
[4:37] Speaker 3: like I do you have a Heisman vote?
[4:40] Speaker 2: I used to, and I thought it was so provincial
[4:42] Speaker 2: and tribal it was ridiculous.
[4:44] Speaker 3: Okay, I just said, this is stupid. Okay, But the
[4:47] Speaker 3: Heisman Trophy vote, there's like literally over a thousand people
[4:50] Speaker 3: who vote for it. Yeah, so one vote is not
[4:53] Speaker 3: that significant. Baseball Hall Fame a lot of people vote
[4:56] Speaker 3: for it Pro Football Fame, it's fifty people who vote no.
[5:02] Speaker 3: So one vote is two percent. Okay, that is crazy.
[5:08] Speaker 3: So exactly so if you need eighty percent, that means
[5:12] Speaker 3: you need forty out of fifty people to agree. And
[5:16] Speaker 3: I don't know, if you've looked around the world recently,
[5:20] Speaker 3: you can't get eighty percent of people to agree on anything.
[5:24] Speaker 3: So expecting anything to be unanimous is probably unreasonable. Into
[5:32] Speaker 3: twenty six. But the Pro Football Hall of Fame, I
[5:37] Speaker 3: think what has been cool about it is that it
[5:41] Speaker 3: is the hardest Hall of Fame to get into. Because
[5:43] Speaker 3: of that, Like it's you know, guys have to wait years.
[5:47] Speaker 3: There's a long jam positions. There's coaches and contributors, and
[5:51] Speaker 3: then the first ballot guys and then the senior committee.
[5:54] Speaker 3: But it all comes down to this like five person hall.
[5:56] Speaker 3: It's very difficult hall of Fame to get in. But
[5:59] Speaker 3: like there is Bill, some guys that just passed the
[6:03] Speaker 3: test of since it is a meritocracy because there is
[6:06] Speaker 3: no voting guidelines. Oh, Randy Moss's first ballot. You say,
[6:14] Speaker 3: Randy Moss, He's first ballot, And I think Bill Belichick
[6:17] Speaker 3: for all of us reached that threshold. Bill Belichick most
[6:21] Speaker 3: Super Bowls, most playoff wins, second most regular season wins.
[6:25] Speaker 3: If he can't be first ballot, who is? And then
[6:30] Speaker 3: you get the Bill Polly in nonsense of great journalists
[6:34] Speaker 3: say he was leading a campaign against them, and then
[6:37] Speaker 3: he gets contacted him he's like, I honestly don't even
[6:40] Speaker 3: remember who I voted for. And he's like, well, wait,
[6:42] Speaker 3: you're two percent of the electorate and you claim you
[6:46] Speaker 3: don't know who you voted for. That is obviously problematic.
[6:51] Speaker 3: And then I don't know if you saw. He's a
[6:55] Speaker 3: buddy of mine. Vaje Gregorian. He's the only person. And
[6:59] Speaker 3: if I've missed it in the last hour, I apologize,
[7:01] Speaker 3: but it broke just before I went on the air
[7:04] Speaker 3: at five eastern. Vaja Gregorian posted his column in the
[7:07] Speaker 3: Kansas City Star. He used to work for the Saint
[7:09] Speaker 3: Louis Post Dispatch, then he lived to working in the
[7:11] Speaker 3: Kansas City Star. So he's been a Midwest reporter and
[7:15] Speaker 3: columnists whole career. My friend Terrez Paler, who wrote for
[7:19] Speaker 3: the Star and Yahoo, tragically passed away a few years ago,
[7:23] Speaker 3: had way too young of age. He had a Hall
[7:25] Speaker 3: of Fame vote when Terres passed, Vaje. Gregorian took the
[7:30] Speaker 3: Kansas City vote and he posted a column I would vote, Uh,
[7:37] Speaker 3: I forget what the headline was exactly. I want to
[7:39] Speaker 3: get it. I want to get it exactly. I just
[7:42] Speaker 3: want to have it correct. I remember the argument, I
[7:43] Speaker 3: want to get the headline. Bill Belichick belongs in the
[7:47] Speaker 3: Hall of Fame. But here's why I didn't vote for him.
[7:50] Speaker 3: And he said it didn't have anything to do with cheating,
[7:54] Speaker 3: and his argument, which I do not agree with him,
[7:57] Speaker 3: he acknowledges in the column most people will not was
[8:00] Speaker 3: basically a procedural issue that now the coaching candidate Belichick,
[8:07] Speaker 3: the contribution candidate Craft, and the Senior Committee people Elsie Greenwood,
[8:16] Speaker 3: Roger Craig Ken Anderson were all in the same pool
[8:22] Speaker 3: and you could only vote for three of the five,
[8:25] Speaker 3: and va Hayes's deductive reasoning was, well, these guys he
[8:30] Speaker 3: thought that Craig, Greenwood and Anderson all deserved to be
[8:32] Speaker 3: Hall of famers, and on the Senior Committee would be
[8:34] Speaker 3: their last chance of being up because other people would
[8:36] Speaker 3: come in behind him. So he wanted to take a
[8:39] Speaker 3: last stand for these guys. Now, I personally think that's
[8:43] Speaker 3: ridiculous and not how I personally would vote, because they
[8:47] Speaker 3: if they made it to the Senior Committee, maybe they're
[8:50] Speaker 3: not Hall of famers, Like maybe they're right because they
[8:53] Speaker 3: had to go through the whole normal process, the Eli
[8:57] Speaker 3: Manning process that he just didn't get in all that.
[9:00] Speaker 3: Vajee disagrees I don't have a vote. He does, it's
[9:04] Speaker 3: worth two percent. But so and so he argues in
[9:07] Speaker 3: the column, he's like, you basically had Robert Kraft and
[9:10] Speaker 3: Bill Belichick with the same accomplishments competing against each other.
[9:14] Speaker 3: So I went with the Senior Committee guys. And I
[9:17] Speaker 3: at least respect that he came out and said why
[9:20] Speaker 3: he did it, because everybody else seems to be running
[9:22] Speaker 3: from the heat. And so if every if eleven people
[9:26] Speaker 3: came out and said steroids were my issue, I want
[9:30] Speaker 3: eleven people to stand on it. Instead, we have one
[9:33] Speaker 3: person saying I voted for the Senior Committee guys because
[9:36] Speaker 3: of a procedural issue, and one person saying I don't
[9:39] Speaker 3: remember who I voted for. So that's just it's not
[9:45] Speaker 3: you and I are logic, guys. Your argument of collective
[9:48] Speaker 3: amnesia is logical. My argument of, hey, this thing's a meritocracy.
[9:53] Speaker 3: He's the best to ever do it. He has the
[9:54] Speaker 3: most accomplishments. There's no morality clause put his ass in
[9:58] Speaker 3: the Hall of Fame like a one year punishment. It
[10:00] Speaker 3: feels trivial or whatever. Like, I think both of our
[10:03] Speaker 3: arguments are logical, and I just don't. I don't like
[10:07] Speaker 3: that no one is standing. No one has come out
[10:10] Speaker 3: and said, yeah, he cheated, so I didn't vote for him. Still,
[10:13] Speaker 3: that's ridiculous. We're just assuming, like on his behalf and
[10:17] Speaker 3: with some reporting from seth Wickers having nada, we're just
[10:20] Speaker 3: assuming it's because of cheating. No one has said it's
[10:22] Speaker 3: because of cheating yet.
[10:24] Speaker 2: Yeah, and I've said, I said today I would vote
[10:27] Speaker 2: him in. I would have slept on it. If you
[10:29] Speaker 2: have multiple asterisks, I think it deserves sleeping on it
[10:35] Speaker 2: because I would take my vote very seriously. But I
[10:38] Speaker 2: would have voted him in. But I get somebody who
[10:40] Speaker 2: said spygates, spygate two, deflate gate, multiple draft picks three
[10:44] Speaker 2: different times, multiple Like, I get it. Here's the other thing.
[10:49] Speaker 2: Have we under valued craft? There is this sense well owners,
[10:56] Speaker 2: it's just their whimsy. They're impulsive. I don't know parcels under.
[11:02] Speaker 2: Kraft got to a Super Bowl with Ledsoe Belichick, Brady
[11:06] Speaker 2: got to several Vrabel Drake May Okay, So Robert Kraft
[11:12] Speaker 2: is responsible for a lot of Super Bowls. Jerry Jones,
[11:16] Speaker 2: Ego Cleveland's Jimmy Haslum's dysfunction. It seems to me lost
[11:22] Speaker 2: in all of this is, you know, Kraft is the
[11:26] Speaker 2: one owner that negotiates for the league with the TV networks,
[11:31] Speaker 2: Meaning Roger Goodell selects one owner he trusts to call Fox, CBS, Amazon, Netflix,
[11:38] Speaker 2: It's Robert Kraft. Robert Kraft has now been to more
[11:42] Speaker 2: Super Bowls than like the Pittsburgh Steelers lost in this
[11:47] Speaker 2: is a sense of well, it was a Brady Belichick
[11:49] Speaker 2: super Bowl. Robert Craft's probably probably the best.
[11:54] Speaker 3: Owner in the league. And listen, I think that he
[11:58] Speaker 3: deserves to get into the Hall of Fame. I do
[12:00] Speaker 3: too as well. And you mentioned other places that are dysfunctional.
[12:07] Speaker 3: It I don't know if he is excellent or if
[12:10] Speaker 3: the billionaire class is just full of weirdos. Because the
[12:15] Speaker 3: guy in Buffalo Pegoula, Yeah, he speaks at that press
[12:19] Speaker 3: conference to justify the firing of Sean McDermott and he's like, well,
[12:26] Speaker 3: I didn't even consider firing him. And then we had
[12:29] Speaker 3: a playoff game where we turned the ball over a bunch.
[12:32] Speaker 3: I thought we won because of the catch no catch call,
[12:36] Speaker 3: and then I saw my guys crying in the locker room,
[12:38] Speaker 3: so I fired the coach. I was like, what, Like, wait,
[12:44] Speaker 3: you thought you won. Your quarterback was crying because he
[12:49] Speaker 3: felt he let the team down. Yeah, your defense gave
[12:53] Speaker 3: up a lot of points. But you also turned the
[12:54] Speaker 3: ball over a lot that led to quite a few
[12:56] Speaker 3: of those points. Like that's why you fired the coach.
[13:00] Speaker 3: And it's weird because I actually think that what they
[13:01] Speaker 3: did was totally reasonable, like in terms of the actions,
[13:04] Speaker 3: promoting Joe Brady, young offensive guy, young play caller, familiarity
[13:09] Speaker 3: with the quarterback, hiring a young defensive coordinator from the
[13:12] Speaker 3: Broncos younger minds. All that I thought like that was
[13:16] Speaker 3: if Pagoula had never spoken, I'd be like, oh, yeah,
[13:19] Speaker 3: good moves by Buffaloo. But because he did, I'm like, well,
[13:22] Speaker 3: there was no rhyme or reason to any of this,
[13:25] Speaker 3: and we just I do think that there are exceptions
[13:29] Speaker 3: to the rule, Like Robert Craft is the exception. He
[13:31] Speaker 3: seems to be exceptionally competent. Biscotti when he spoke about
[13:36] Speaker 3: the firing of John Harbaugh in Baltimore's he seemed here's
[13:42] Speaker 3: how I communicated it, here's why I did it, here's
[13:45] Speaker 3: my plan, Here's why I was disappointed. And it was
[13:48] Speaker 3: just like, oh, I get it. I get why that
[13:50] Speaker 3: guy is great at what he does. But it seems
[13:54] Speaker 3: like that's few and further between. Because you've met more
[13:57] Speaker 3: billionaires than I have, they seem to be odd ducks.
[14:02] Speaker 3: I don't know that. You know what, if you're a
[14:04] Speaker 3: tech billionaire, I don't know that that means that you
[14:07] Speaker 3: are terribly qualified to run a basketball team or you know,
[14:13] Speaker 3: or a I don't know that the skills necessarily translate
[14:16] Speaker 3: in all these walks of life.
[14:18] Speaker 2: Well, it always feels to me if you own a
[14:20] Speaker 2: local sports team, it's a it's a public good, it's
[14:23] Speaker 2: a public trust. It is different. It's different than owning
[14:26] Speaker 2: a tech company. There is a responsibility to do well
[14:33] Speaker 2: by your local citizenry. They're paying often some of the
[14:37] Speaker 2: you know, the bond payments, they're they're paying for some
[14:39] Speaker 2: of the stadiums. They're paying enormous amounts to support your franchise.
[14:46] Speaker 2: You know, very rarely does the owner, the billionaire owner,
[14:48] Speaker 2: pick up the entire tab on a stadium. So I mean,
[14:52] Speaker 2: it's it's a public trust, the public good. So I
[14:55] Speaker 2: think there's some really good owners, and I think there's
[14:57] Speaker 2: a lot of egos. And you know, we've discussed that
[14:59] Speaker 2: before as the all billionaires now they used to be
[15:01] Speaker 2: one hundred millionaires, and it's just different now. They're more
[15:03] Speaker 2: impulsive and more willing to just blow stuff up. I mean,
[15:06] Speaker 2: we had ten coaching openings this year, and I think
[15:09] Speaker 2: four of them came.
[15:10] Speaker 3: As a massive shock.
[15:12] Speaker 2: It's like what so usually those like one you're kind
[15:15] Speaker 2: of surprised by. It's like almost half you're like, what
[15:18] Speaker 2: in the hell is going on?
[15:20] Speaker 3: You know?
[15:20] Speaker 2: The It really is interesting about when you look at
[15:27] Speaker 2: the Patriots dynasty, and I've said this before, is they
[15:31] Speaker 2: men are great at starting things. Every guy's got a
[15:35] Speaker 2: great pickup line, but we won't pick up the phone
[15:38] Speaker 2: when we break up.
[15:40] Speaker 3: We're terrible at endings and craft.
[15:45] Speaker 2: I mean, there was some bumps before this. Belichick has
[15:51] Speaker 2: been really choppy, but you know who's ended really well, Brady.
[15:56] Speaker 2: And my takeaway in all of this is, you know,
[15:59] Speaker 2: I mean, you remember the where Craft got caught up
[16:04] Speaker 2: in a situation where massage parlor is really really bad Tawdrey,
[16:09] Speaker 2: and then Belichick's been a bit of a mess in
[16:11] Speaker 2: his personal life whatever. I'm not judging on that. But
[16:15] Speaker 2: lost in all of this is how effing great Tom
[16:19] Speaker 2: Brady is. So nobody would dispute that. Every great coach,
[16:23] Speaker 2: Jimmy Johnson, Bill Walsh, Chuck Nole, they've all had a
[16:26] Speaker 2: great quarterback, but if you take away that quarterback from
[16:31] Speaker 2: their resume, they still went about fifty percent of their games.
[16:34] Speaker 2: Bill Belichick's winning percentage is below Jerry Glanville if you
[16:38] Speaker 2: take out Brady, and I think the greatness of Brady
[16:43] Speaker 2: is that it's almost how I consider my wife. She
[16:47] Speaker 2: just takes care of everything.
[16:48] Speaker 3: In the house.
[16:50] Speaker 2: She corrects things and solves things. They don't even get
[16:53] Speaker 2: to me that Brady during that twenty year run. You
[16:57] Speaker 2: never credit the president who avoids the disaster because you
[17:02] Speaker 2: don't know about it, right, Like I always said this
[17:05] Speaker 2: one of the things about Obama. When we went into
[17:07] Speaker 2: that recession, it could have been a depression, but we
[17:10] Speaker 2: somehow wiggled out of it, and you don't get credit
[17:13] Speaker 2: for avoiding the depression because it never happened. Right, Yeah,
[17:18] Speaker 2: and my wife, the household would be in disarray once
[17:22] Speaker 2: a week if I ran it. She doesn't get credit
[17:25] Speaker 2: for the disaster she avoids. Brady was so fundamentally sound,
[17:31] Speaker 2: so detail oriented. There were almost no bumps. I mean,
[17:36] Speaker 2: you go twenty years and did they have a three
[17:38] Speaker 2: game losing streak? It was like it just never happened
[17:42] Speaker 2: that in all of this Craft Belichick, Josh McDaniel, Brady,
[17:47] Speaker 2: Charlie Weiss, you can take everybody, the one guy that
[17:52] Speaker 2: comes out and you're like, man, he's doing better than
[17:53] Speaker 2: ever is Tom Brady?
[17:57] Speaker 3: Yeah, he seems to have your stuff together. Pretty pretty
[18:01] Speaker 3: accomplished guy, pretty pretty successful. And the is it more
[18:09] Speaker 3: Brady or is it more Belichick debate ended with Tom
[18:14] Speaker 3: and Tampa. Yeah, right, obviously it ended. But also we
[18:21] Speaker 3: should have just known a little better, Like like Peyton
[18:24] Speaker 3: Manning went to four Super Bowls with four different coaches,
[18:28] Speaker 3: right right, because he's Peyton Manning, you know what I mean.
[18:32] Speaker 3: Like there's a there's a stratosphere of guys. They're like
[18:36] Speaker 3: Mahomes obviously landed in a great situation, got to sit
[18:44] Speaker 3: for a year behind a very smart, very talented former
[18:48] Speaker 3: number one overall pick and Alex Smith who had been
[18:50] Speaker 3: winning ten or eleven games each year he got there.
[18:53] Speaker 3: He has Andy Reid, great offensive mind, Travis Kelcey, tire Hill.
[18:57] Speaker 3: Everyone knows that he landed in a great situation. If
[19:00] Speaker 3: Mahomes landed with the Bears, he wouldn't be Mahomes, but
[19:04] Speaker 3: he'd be awesome, you know what I mean, because because
[19:07] Speaker 3: he's he's that guy, like Aaron Rodgers looked like he
[19:11] Speaker 3: was kind of stalling out at the end of Mike
[19:13] Speaker 3: McCarthy gets a little bit of new blood with Matt
[19:16] Speaker 3: Lafleur two MVPs immediately because he's awesome. He's that guy.
[19:21] Speaker 3: And so there's those guys are just in a different
[19:25] Speaker 3: stratosphere of people. And we've talked about this before, Like
[19:29] Speaker 3: to me, the Andy Reid argument of why he is
[19:31] Speaker 3: a better coach than Belichick, it's he's never going to
[19:34] Speaker 3: catch him in Super Bowls. But the number of different
[19:38] Speaker 3: quarterbacks with everybody that right that have had the best
[19:43] Speaker 3: season of their career with Andy Reid, it's literally more
[19:46] Speaker 3: than a handful. It's like Jeff Garcia's best year, Kevin
[19:50] Speaker 3: Cobbs best year, Donovan McNabb, Alex.
[19:52] Speaker 2: Smith got to a Super Bowl with Marino, David Woodley,
[19:56] Speaker 2: and Earl Morrile.
[19:58] Speaker 3: Yeah, great coach, great like and so like Belichick. It
[20:03] Speaker 3: is a classic. When people talk about greatest of all time,
[20:07] Speaker 3: I honestly hate the conversation because I think that they
[20:10] Speaker 3: are talking about greatest trophy case of all time? Right,
[20:14] Speaker 3: like Tom, I am much more interested personally in the
[20:19] Speaker 3: who the best of all time? Who is the most
[20:23] Speaker 3: talented of all time? Because Great Brady is the goat
[20:28] Speaker 3: in the common nomenclature, the best winner the most trophies.
[20:33] Speaker 3: But like, is he actually more talented than Aaron Rodgers?
[20:38] Speaker 3: I actually don't think that he is, Like so I
[20:41] Speaker 3: the stouting talent of it. I don't think that he is. Yeah.
[20:45] Speaker 2: So remember Tom was drafted in Major League Baseball. Tom's
[20:50] Speaker 2: bigger athlete. He's six' five Ye aaron six to one
[20:53] Speaker 2: and a. Half he's a more committed athlete Like Lebron.
[20:56] Speaker 2: James that matters. Too i've always argued That, tom because
[21:01] Speaker 2: of the combine no shirt on, picture and Because tom's
[21:07] Speaker 2: athletic gifts were not necessarily speed and, twitchiness.
[21:12] Speaker 3: That he gets.
[21:13] Speaker 2: Knocked it's LIKE i grew up With Johnny. Bench Johnny
[21:16] Speaker 2: bench was the best catcher for fifteen.
[21:17] Speaker 3: Years.
[21:18] Speaker 2: Yep watching him lumbered a second on a double was,
[21:22] Speaker 2: Comedy LIKE i mean it. Was you, know he'd been
[21:25] Speaker 2: wearing the gear on an.
[21:27] Speaker 3: Astro turf field for.
[21:28] Speaker 2: Years it was a hard, watch but he was, unbelievable
[21:32] Speaker 2: the best, arm the best, catcher incredibly, twitchy hit for,
[21:35] Speaker 2: power hit for Clutt there were different kinds of athletes
[21:39] Speaker 2: Like Michael jordan to me does things because of his
[21:41] Speaker 2: hand size and Vertical lebron can't. Do Nor Kobe lebron
[21:46] Speaker 2: because of his, physicality can do. Things he's like a
[21:48] Speaker 2: tight end in THE nfl That michael couldn't. Do there's
[21:51] Speaker 2: different levels of. Athleticism Jahn morant has, hops but there's
[21:57] Speaker 2: quickness then their. Speed and so WHEN i look At,
[22:02] Speaker 2: brady it's always like he did get drafted by A
[22:03] Speaker 2: Major League baseball. Team and it should be noted in
[22:06] Speaker 2: the Pocket brady was the one of the great movers
[22:10] Speaker 2: of all. Time he threw the best because of his.
[22:12] Speaker 2: Torque he's incredibly strong pound for. Pounds he threw the
[22:16] Speaker 2: best snow Ball i've ever seen in my. LIFE i,
[22:18] Speaker 2: mean his ball cut Through foxborough wind and snow like no,
[22:22] Speaker 2: quarterback Including Josh, Allen i've never seen anybody throw a
[22:26] Speaker 2: ball in snow and win Like. Brady SO i always
[22:28] Speaker 2: think is, athleticism and SO i always Defend. Brady it
[22:31] Speaker 2: can't all be who's got the biggest, arm Because brady
[22:35] Speaker 2: had a top six or seven. Arm but he didn't
[22:37] Speaker 2: have Like mahomes Or alan or you, Know Terry bradshaw
[22:40] Speaker 2: in his. Prime they had a very good. Arm he
[22:42] Speaker 2: was drafted as a catcher In Major League, Baseball so you,
[22:47] Speaker 2: know all these conversations like we were talking about today
[22:50] Speaker 2: on the, show WHICH i think is, interesting what do
[22:53] Speaker 2: you do With Drake? May Now it's, like oh, Wait
[22:57] Speaker 2: drake maylight is like the most accurate and was number
[23:01] Speaker 2: one on deep ball, efficiency and you're, like and he's really,
[23:04] Speaker 2: athletic and what DO I Drake may is now at
[23:07] Speaker 2: Top he's won sixteen of seventeen. Games he's had like
[23:10] Speaker 2: three bad halfs in seventeen. Games SO i think a
[23:15] Speaker 2: lot of the Drafting you've noticed, this by the, way
[23:18] Speaker 2: is That Drake may's got a stacked. Roster, actually Bo
[23:24] Speaker 2: nicks has a stacked. Roster Kay Loub williams has a stack.
[23:27] Speaker 2: Ross isn't it remarkable how good you look when you've
[23:30] Speaker 2: got like eight offensive players who are? Good and by the,
[23:32] Speaker 2: Way Josh allen doesn't have a pro bowler on, defense he's.
[23:36] Speaker 2: Off he played from, behind like multiple, weeks played from.
[23:41] Speaker 2: Behind And i'm just rambling, here BUT i Guess i'm
[23:44] Speaker 2: Defending brady on. That there's this picture of the combine
[23:46] Speaker 2: that he's not. Athletic it's, like, No Jared, goff isn't that? Athletic,
[23:51] Speaker 2: YEAH i think.
[23:52] Speaker 3: And, listen that is, true and there are different kinds
[23:54] Speaker 3: of athleticism AND i am definitely guilty of. It the
[24:00] Speaker 3: Whatever brady lacks in.
[24:02] Speaker 1: The mobility off, schedule like the play breaks, down BUT
[24:09] Speaker 1: i can still make a play that Mahomes alan you
[24:12] Speaker 1: Know rogers that those guys That i'm talking, About caleb
[24:16] Speaker 1: that they can make.
[24:17] Speaker 3: He between the. Ears you, know it's him And peyton
[24:23] Speaker 3: right as the greatest to ever do. It and that matters.
[24:30] Speaker 3: Shitload at that. Position it's just, like, oh, well that
[24:35] Speaker 3: actually might be more valuable than. Everything And it's LIKE
[24:38] Speaker 3: i do tend to underrate like or be late to
[24:41] Speaker 3: come around on a guy Like Brock perdy who's, Like,
[24:44] Speaker 3: okay well you were limited and where you were drafted
[24:46] Speaker 3: and physical and, LIKE i don't think he's spectacular in
[24:49] Speaker 3: the situation that he's in and all, that but it's, like,
[24:51] Speaker 3: well damn, okay he keeps putting up these. Numbers there's something.
[24:55] Speaker 3: Too he's pretty. Smart he knows where to put the.
[24:59] Speaker 3: Ball And i'm not saying That Rock party And Tom
[25:01] Speaker 3: brady are the same, guy BUT i do think it's
[25:03] Speaker 3: just like it's it's a tougher trait to scout than
[25:08] Speaker 3: six four four forty rocket arm who can throw it
[25:12] Speaker 3: over a. Mountain like those things are easier to scout
[25:15] Speaker 3: than those. Guys BUT i want to HAVE i agree with,
[25:18] Speaker 3: You Tom, brady pretty successful.
[25:20] Speaker 2: Guy today's show brought to you by our presenting, sponsor

[26:32] Speaker 2: eight hundred and nine with it gambling problem called one
[26:35] Speaker 2: eight Hundred Gambler, Arizona, Colorado, Illinois New, Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee.
[26:38] Speaker 2: Virginia IT'S i want to throw this. OUT i made
[26:46] Speaker 2: this analogy, today AND i don't like to talk about
[26:49] Speaker 2: STUFF i talked about on the, air BUT i, mean
[26:51] Speaker 2: The belichick stuff is, obviously, yeah top of top of.
[26:55] Speaker 2: Mind BUT i, said you, know in The mike McCarthy
[26:59] Speaker 2: to the Steelers hire, Happened he's not going to be.
[27:01] Speaker 2: Bad it's just kind of, uninspiring you. Know it's just
[27:04] Speaker 2: like it's kind of. Safe but it got me on
[27:07] Speaker 2: something THAT i don't. Have i'm not a pet peeve,
[27:11] Speaker 2: guy BUT i don't Like SO i watched a movie
[27:17] Speaker 2: with my wife the other, day AND i make her
[27:19] Speaker 2: commit to watching stuff with. Me so when she, says,
[27:22] Speaker 2: hey do you want to watch rip On prime Or?
[27:25] Speaker 3: Netflix it Was.
[27:25] Speaker 2: Netflix Matt damon And Ben. Affleck, yeah we just worked
[27:30] Speaker 2: with ye, yes ninety minutes. Entertaining it was good, fun
[27:35] Speaker 2: and the critics came out and, went, well it did
[27:37] Speaker 2: not elevate the. Genre And i'm, like critics panned. It
[27:42] Speaker 2: it wasn't an inspired, effort And i'm, like, Listen not every,
[27:46] Speaker 2: Hire sean, McVay not every movie is. Good, Fellas, like
[27:51] Speaker 2: you're you're an artist and you can line up a
[27:55] Speaker 2: streaming venture Called rip with your Buddy Matt. Damon you
[28:00] Speaker 2: do it and you get like a, Writer you're, like
[28:02] Speaker 2: not every you, know there's there's you know.
[28:06] Speaker 3: It wasn't. It Van goh died poor and.
[28:10] Speaker 2: Broke we realized his talent, later, right, like, like you,
[28:13] Speaker 2: know we're late to a lot of. Things and, similarly
[28:16] Speaker 2: artists sometimes they do stuff to just do. Stuff they
[28:20] Speaker 2: want to create. Movies not everything is a six Year
[28:24] Speaker 2: not everything's goodwill. Hunting will you write it and rewrite
[28:27] Speaker 2: it and rewrite? It and so my takeaway is defending
[28:30] Speaker 2: The steelers was, well if you're not gonna Get John
[28:33] Speaker 2: harbaugh And Kevin stefanski he was with The, browns he's
[28:37] Speaker 2: not of. You could it not be argued McCarthy's a.
[28:43] Speaker 2: B i mean you're not taking a. Risk he had
[28:47] Speaker 2: the number four offense With Cooper rush starting five games
[28:50] Speaker 2: and one receiver In Ceedee lamb at one point In.
[28:53] Speaker 3: Dallas is that.
[28:54] Speaker 2: In the, Media i'm guilty of. This i'm looking for,
[28:58] Speaker 2: flashy fun and. Inspiring so when it comes in a little.
[29:02] Speaker 2: Flat my soda is a little. Flat i'm, like do
[29:06] Speaker 2: you got to bottle the gun the club.
[29:08] Speaker 3: Sold in the?
[29:08] Speaker 2: Gun it's not bubbly enough for, me AND i kind
[29:11] Speaker 2: of feel like it's actually probably A b plus higher
[29:15] Speaker 2: And i'm being too hard on, it SO i.
[29:18] Speaker 3: LISTEN i haven't Liked mike McCarthy since the twenty FOURTEEN
[29:22] Speaker 3: Nfc championship. Game it's the worst coach Game i've ever,
[29:25] Speaker 3: seen So i've held it against, them and kicking field
[29:31] Speaker 3: goals from the one yard, line giving the ball To
[29:33] Speaker 3: Eddie lacy instead Of Aaron. Rodgers blowing a sixteen point
[29:38] Speaker 3: lead in the fourth, quarters it's just more. Bad it's
[29:40] Speaker 3: one of the it's what it's. LIKE i think it's
[29:42] Speaker 3: the worst coach to managed game. Ever i'm open to
[29:45] Speaker 3: the possibility That i'm a little harsh on. IT i
[29:48] Speaker 3: do think only one ring With rogers for the vast
[29:51] Speaker 3: majority of his prime is. UNDERACHIEVING i do think, that you,
[29:54] Speaker 3: know the six and nine records since The Super bowl
[29:57] Speaker 3: in the playoffs is. Uninspiring some losses as a big
[30:00] Speaker 3: favorite in the playoffs are. Uninspiring the Game Dallas Green,
[30:04] Speaker 3: bay a couple of years ago Against Jordan love notably
[30:07] Speaker 3: comes to. MIND i, THOUGHT i AND i just it
[30:14] Speaker 3: felt like Offensive Mike, tomlin high, floor low, ceiling underachieves
[30:19] Speaker 3: in the. Playoffs that's WHAT i, said the offensive version Of. Tomlin, yeah,
[30:23] Speaker 3: Okay and so we were completely, aligned AND i just
[30:26] Speaker 3: don't get, why in this exact moment for, them that's
[30:33] Speaker 3: what they would. Want the last time The steelers had
[30:36] Speaker 3: a losing, record they Drafted Ben. Roethlisberger the next, year
[30:41] Speaker 3: they won fifteen. Games two years later they won The
[30:43] Speaker 3: Super bowl nineteen sixty. Nine famous they're one and, thirteen
[30:48] Speaker 3: tied with The bears for the worst record in THE,
[30:50] Speaker 3: nfl win a coin flip for the rights to Draft Terry.
[30:53] Speaker 3: Bradshaw five years, later they start the greatest run arguably
[30:57] Speaker 3: in football, history win four of Six Super. Bowls, like
[31:01] Speaker 3: what is the possible value with an old roster that's,
[31:06] Speaker 3: expensive that's. Defensive weid in to try to entice forty
[31:11] Speaker 3: two year Old Aaron rodgers to get the bands back
[31:14] Speaker 3: together with a guy he underachieved with in his, prime
[31:17] Speaker 3: to grind out another nine or ten win season and
[31:21] Speaker 3: a first round playoff. Exit when to, me you know
[31:25] Speaker 3: better THAN i do everyone's saying next year's quarterback class
[31:29] Speaker 3: is the quarterback class you want a lottery ticket. IN
[31:33] Speaker 3: i would be very interested in young coach with, upside
[31:38] Speaker 3: Trading Jalen, ramsey TRADING Tj, watt being Playing Will, howard
[31:45] Speaker 3: like being bad by design and bottoming out for like
[31:51] Speaker 3: taking some draft capital so that you can move around
[31:53] Speaker 3: with whatever you get For wad And ramsey and other
[31:55] Speaker 3: guys being bad this year and taking your shot a
[32:00] Speaker 3: young quarterback next. Year And mike McCarthy's just not going
[32:03] Speaker 3: to do. That it's just, like because he, is to
[32:05] Speaker 3: your point a be he's too. Good he's gonna grind
[32:09] Speaker 3: out depending on what you do at quarterback seven to eleven.
[32:13] Speaker 3: Wins AND i just there is value in being. Bad
[32:18] Speaker 3: no one wants to hear, it no one likes, it
[32:20] Speaker 3: and In pittsburgh it's apparently like the worst thing you
[32:23] Speaker 3: could possibly. Utter but there is real value in being
[32:27] Speaker 3: bad for a. Year AND i know you can miss
[32:30] Speaker 3: out on a top five, quarterback but it's the only
[32:33] Speaker 3: way to get an elite prospect at the. Position AND
[32:36] Speaker 3: i just think now is so clearly the time for
[32:38] Speaker 3: them to do. It CAN i throw? This it's not a.
[32:42] Speaker 2: Theory it's ALL i love, GEOGRAPHY i love, MAPS i study.
[32:45] Speaker 2: Cities i'm weird that.
[32:46] Speaker 3: WAY i like that.
[32:47] Speaker 2: Stuff, Right So pittsburgh is very unique and that it
[32:53] Speaker 2: doesn't really have a. Region so Out IF i Say,
[32:57] Speaker 2: west you're.
[32:59] Speaker 3: Like, Seattle San, Francisco Los.
[33:01] Speaker 2: Angeles IF i say The Rocky, mountains you're Like. Denver
[33:05] Speaker 2: IF i say The, midwest you're Like. Chicago IF i
[33:09] Speaker 2: say The, east you're Like, Philly, boston D.
[33:11] Speaker 3: C New. York pittsburgh.
[33:14] Speaker 2: Stuck they don't really have a, region and there is
[33:18] Speaker 2: a certain low self esteem that never being bad because they're.
[33:24] Speaker 2: Overlooked they're they're they're they're. Overlooked cleveland has a little
[33:30] Speaker 2: bit of. This what Is? CLEVELAND i, mean if you
[33:33] Speaker 2: ask some people in this, country what time zone Is pittsburgh,
[33:37] Speaker 2: in people are, like if you go to The, South
[33:40] Speaker 2: nashville's the cool, City atlanta's the big. City in the,
[33:43] Speaker 2: plains It's, dallas in in in the Desert, Southwest, scottsdale It's, Phoenix.
[33:49] Speaker 2: Vegas they don't really own, anything and so it's it's
[33:54] Speaker 2: they suffer from a little bit of that sort of
[33:57] Speaker 2: they've they've been, overlooked they don't they're. NOT i, Mean
[34:00] Speaker 2: philadelphia still can say we we win more Than New
[34:04] Speaker 2: york And boston as we have greater, history And New
[34:06] Speaker 2: york were richer AND dc were more, powerful And pittsburgh
[34:10] Speaker 2: and we Put french fries on our. Sandwiches we It's
[34:14] Speaker 2: and SO i do feel there's this thing like we
[34:17] Speaker 2: don't want about them. Out we because our ceilings, limited
[34:21] Speaker 2: Don't we don't want to bottom, Out and they've always
[34:23] Speaker 2: sort of had this we don't want to be, Terrible
[34:26] Speaker 2: like that's just something that you could just talk anybody
[34:29] Speaker 2: in like, LIKE i don't, Know i've always felt Like
[34:32] Speaker 2: pittsburgh AND i don't, Know i've been To pittsburgh. Twice
[34:35] Speaker 2: i've always felt it's one of those cities that kind
[34:37] Speaker 2: of feels. Overlooked that's why it's almost absurdly prideful that
[34:42] Speaker 2: they would hire A pittsburgh, guy because nobody Loves pittsburgh
[34:45] Speaker 2: Like pittsburgh and they're incredibly prideful and that's a wonderful.
[34:49] Speaker 3: Thing does that make any? Sense, yeah it was an
[34:52] Speaker 3: some of, it like the low self esteem. PART i
[34:55] Speaker 3: Think pittsburgh people would push back on, sure because they
[34:59] Speaker 3: would see it as just. Pride they love. It they're
[35:02] Speaker 3: so they're so, proud, right they're they're yensers and and,
[35:05] Speaker 3: LISTEN i, MEAN i have a dear friend Who Andrew,
[35:08] Speaker 3: philippony who crushes, it and his afternoon's there and has
[35:11] Speaker 3: that opportunities to bigger. Cities he's, great and he, says you,
[35:15] Speaker 3: know he's, like, like you, know he's A New york,
[35:19] Speaker 3: area upstate, guy but he's, LIKE i moved, HERE i
[35:23] Speaker 3: met a, girl fell in. Love big, fish small, pound crushes.
[35:28] Speaker 3: It go and visit. Him good cost of, living improving food.
[35:32] Speaker 3: Scene wild about their, sports he's wildly. Happy he has
[35:35] Speaker 3: a great time. There he was just in town this
[35:37] Speaker 3: weekend for his fortieth In New. York but it's just.
[35:39] Speaker 3: There they love their sports so. Much but what's weird
[35:42] Speaker 3: about the football team is they, SAY i, MEAN i
[35:46] Speaker 3: watched the Whole mike McCarthy press. Conference they we got
[35:50] Speaker 3: to get that seventh, trophy you, Know Mike tomin the
[35:52] Speaker 3: standard is the. Standard they talk about excellence and they
[35:56] Speaker 3: talk about, this and they talk about the Seventh, trophy
[35:59] Speaker 3: but their actions are what you're talking. About their, Actions
[36:04] Speaker 3: LIKE i Had Willie, CLONE i sit next to him
[36:05] Speaker 3: every day on first things versus the ot AND i
[36:08] Speaker 3: run this theory by. Him i'm, like they should be
[36:10] Speaker 3: bad this, year like by. Design he's like, that, well
[36:13] Speaker 3: no one will go for it like we had. Been
[36:15] Speaker 3: he booked To Ben roethlisberger FOR us. Today he's, like
[36:18] Speaker 3: rebuild is a it's a swear word Amongst. Ollers he's,
[36:21] Speaker 3: LIKE i talk about build like you can't even say.
[36:23] Speaker 3: Rebuild and THAT i think part of it Is Mike
[36:29] Speaker 3: tomlin's identity came into that FAN i, mean he's there
[36:32] Speaker 3: for nineteen, years never has a losing. Season it's the
[36:34] Speaker 3: first thing that people say about, Him so it becomes
[36:37] Speaker 3: kind of the identity of the fan. Base but like
[36:40] Speaker 3: it's that's not that. Valuable if you don't win in the,
[36:44] Speaker 3: playoffs it's not valuable at. All it's quicksand right because
[36:48] Speaker 3: like it's, there well because, well some people would say
[36:50] Speaker 3: the goal is get into the tournament and then take your,
[36:53] Speaker 3: chances but that's more of a baseball argument because of you,
[36:57] Speaker 3: know one hundred and sixty two games and then you
[36:58] Speaker 3: play best of. Five worst team can beat the better.
[37:01] Speaker 3: Team football's all single. Elimination so if you get in
[37:04] Speaker 3: as a wild card team with the worst quarterback and
[37:08] Speaker 3: have to play on the, road you're probably gonna, lose
[37:12] Speaker 3: yeah and. Badly, Yeah and then like turn around and be,
[37:15] Speaker 3: LIKE i guess we gotta Draft Kenny, pickett like you,
[37:18] Speaker 3: know and and he was from From, pittsburgh like went
[37:22] Speaker 3: to Pitt and SO i think that that, part, like,
[37:24] Speaker 3: YEAH i could not care less That, mike That mike
[37:27] Speaker 3: McCarthy is a, yinser like that that would just qualify,
[37:31] Speaker 3: him like if like if that's one of the first
[37:33] Speaker 3: things people say about it's, like, yeah he grew up
[37:35] Speaker 3: A steelers, Fan like that doesn't mean, Anything like that's
[37:38] Speaker 3: just like it's that is not that's not gonna help
[37:40] Speaker 3: you win. Games SO i personally hated the, hire but like,
[37:45] Speaker 3: you it is partly media bized easier to, say BUT
[37:48] Speaker 3: i would be fine risking the strikeout to take the
[37:52] Speaker 3: swing on the home. Run AND i just Think mike
[37:54] Speaker 3: McCarthy is such a safe Single and especially at this
[37:58] Speaker 3: like exact moment in time with the, draft with no
[38:01] Speaker 3: quarterback option in house With Aaron rodgers at forty two years,
[38:05] Speaker 3: old The steelers should try to be the worst team
[38:07] Speaker 3: in football next. Year that's what they should try to.
[38:11] Speaker 3: Do can't say it, publicly just do, it but do
[38:14] Speaker 3: it through your. Actions try to be the worst team in,
[38:16] Speaker 3: football and there's no way you will be With mike.
[38:18] Speaker 2: McCarthy so As i'm watching The bulls And lebron's the
[38:23] Speaker 2: best player on the floor for the first quarter and
[38:26] Speaker 2: then the second best player for the rest of, it
[38:28] Speaker 2: and he's in his, forties AND i sat there AND
[38:31] Speaker 2: i thought it reminded me Of. Brady oh, yeah When
[38:35] Speaker 2: brady quit, retired it's not because he wasn't. Great he
[38:39] Speaker 2: was still a top five or six. Quarterback in, FACT
[38:41] Speaker 2: i would argue until maybe a year or two, ago
[38:43] Speaker 2: he still would have been a top ten. Quarterback he
[38:46] Speaker 2: quit because of some personal. Stuff OTHERWISE i Think tom
[38:51] Speaker 2: would have just kept. Playing And i'm Watching, lebron who
[38:54] Speaker 2: physically can still bully his way to eighteen points. Easily
[38:58] Speaker 2: he's JUST i, mean if you've ever been next To,
[39:00] Speaker 2: LEBRON i have multiple. Times he is so big and so,
[39:03] Speaker 2: strong and this league is young and skinny And, european
[39:06] Speaker 2: and he can just literally because he's such a great ball.
[39:09] Speaker 2: Handler he's a nineteen eighties power forward who dribbles like
[39:13] Speaker 2: a point. Guard so he can speak of. Nature he's
[39:16] Speaker 2: okay with the greatest athlete ever. Produced it's just. Ridiculous.
[39:19] Speaker 2: Yeah so he could play for another five years and
[39:23] Speaker 2: average at least sixteen a. Game And i've said this
[39:26] Speaker 2: before to my. WIFE i can talk Until i'm eighty
[39:29] Speaker 2: and make really good. Money at some, point vanity takes
[39:34] Speaker 2: over AND i will want to, protect. DON'T i don't
[39:37] Speaker 2: want to be on the air and, LITERALLY i MEAN
[39:39] Speaker 2: i NEED q. Cards my teeth are falling. Out my
[39:41] Speaker 2: prostate comes right down my right leg onto the, Floor
[39:44] Speaker 2: LIKE i don't want that to.
[39:45] Speaker 3: Happen.
[39:46] Speaker 2: Graphic, Yeah so my point being, is you do start
[39:50] Speaker 2: protecting your. Legacy BUT i think it's harder than people think.
[39:55] Speaker 2: That i'm Watching lebron And i'm, like he's in the.
[39:58] Speaker 2: Arena he's the most popular player in the. ARENA i
[40:03] Speaker 2: mean like flash. Bulls oh, yeah he's. Everywhere he's the
[40:07] Speaker 2: best player on the floor for portions of the game
[40:10] Speaker 2: in the first.
[40:11] Speaker 3: Half, LEBRON i love you throw this throw.
[40:16] Speaker 2: THAT i think it's a lot harder to retire for
[40:21] Speaker 2: The brady's and The. Lebron it's easy for me to, say,
[40:25] Speaker 2: bro hang it.
[40:25] Speaker 3: Up i'm at that.
[40:27] Speaker 2: Game i'm watching. It these are pro, athletes they're young and.
[40:31] Speaker 2: Twitchy he's better than all of them Except.
[40:35] Speaker 3: Luca yeah, Yeah AND i, mean and this is like very.
[40:40] Speaker 3: Reductive AND i have stood next To lebron a couple,
[40:42] Speaker 3: times BUT i do not know him at. All he loves,
[40:47] Speaker 3: basketball like he's, like oh, MAN i am now the,
[40:54] Speaker 3: Whatever let's call him the seventeenth best player in the,
[40:57] Speaker 3: league just to pick a random number that that's probably. Close,
[41:01] Speaker 3: yeah but like but maybe he would hear that and
[41:04] Speaker 3: think that that's. INSULTING i have no. Idea last year
[41:06] Speaker 3: he was sixth IN mvp, voting so he's seen sixth
[41:10] Speaker 3: and twenty, fifth right? Whatever HE i, mean he was
[41:13] Speaker 3: STILL i don't know If TEAM usa wins the gold
[41:16] Speaker 3: medal Without Lebron james at the twenty twenty Four, Olympics
[41:20] Speaker 3: like he is still, awesome and he loved, basketball and
[41:25] Speaker 3: you get paid fifty million dollars to play the, game
[41:29] Speaker 3: plus it is the springboard for everything else in your.
[41:32] Speaker 3: LIFE i don't know, why why why why? Quit like why?
[41:37] Speaker 3: QUIT i don't really see any reason to do. It
[41:39] Speaker 3: like people are LIKE i wonder If Matt stafford is
[41:42] Speaker 3: going to come, Back AND i know he talked about
[41:44] Speaker 3: retirement last. Year he just led the league in touchdowns and. Yards,
[41:48] Speaker 3: well at least with him he gets. Tackled, yeah, sure,
[41:52] Speaker 3: yeah THAT i, could, sure, Absolutely but by the, way
[41:55] Speaker 3: it's reasonable to say uncle and stop at any. Point
[41:59] Speaker 3: you don't want to do the, travel you don't want
[42:00] Speaker 3: to do the, media you don't want to do the ice,
[42:02] Speaker 3: bats you don't want to you. Know dave, mcmaaman who
[42:05] Speaker 3: Covers lebron pretty, CLOSELY i heard that he was Like
[42:08] Speaker 3: Lebron james stopped drinking during his. REHAB i have and The.
[42:11] Speaker 3: Lebron he has a tequila. Company he likes expensive. Wine
[42:14] Speaker 3: like maybe he just decides he doesn't want to quit
[42:16] Speaker 3: drinking to rehab injuries. Anymore like it would be a
[42:20] Speaker 3: totally reasonable stance for a billionaire to, be, LIKE i
[42:23] Speaker 3: want to just be a. Billionaire but he's still, awesome
[42:27] Speaker 3: so he continues to do. It and like, that to
[42:31] Speaker 3: stop playing a game that you, love that's given you
[42:34] Speaker 3: everything when you're still one of the best at, it you,
[42:37] Speaker 3: know it'd be hard.
[42:40] Speaker 2: With a big game coming. Up we're all about enjoying
[42:42] Speaker 2: the moment without paying for it the next. Day Whether
[42:44] Speaker 2: i'm hosting, friends, jamming cheering from the, couch heading to
[42:49] Speaker 2: a watch. PARTY i want to be fully present and
[42:51] Speaker 2: still feel good in the. Morning for, me that means planning,
[42:53] Speaker 2: ahead especially If i'm going to have a few. Drinks
[42:55] Speaker 2: my simple trick start the night with z biotics pre.
[42:58] Speaker 2: Alcohol Z biotics pre alcohol probiotic drink the world's first
[43:04] Speaker 2: genetically engineered. Probiotic it was invented BY PhD scientists to
[43:09] Speaker 2: tackle rough mornings after. Drinking here's how it. Works when you,
[43:11] Speaker 2: drink alcohol gets converted into a toxic by product in the.
[43:15] Speaker 2: Gut it's a build up of this buy, product not
[43:17] Speaker 2: dehydration that's actually to blame for rough days after. Drinking
[43:20] Speaker 2: so pre alcohol produces an enzyme to break this by product.
[43:23] Speaker 2: Down just remember to make pre alcohol your first drink
[43:26] Speaker 2: of the.
[43:26] Speaker 3: Night drink.
[43:27] Speaker 2: Responsibly you'll feel your best tomorrow if you're planning to
[43:30] Speaker 2: enjoy the big game without sacrificing your productivity the next.
[43:32] Speaker 2: Day z biotics pre. Alcohol as you, cover start your
[43:37] Speaker 2: night with pre, alcohol wake up ready to show up
[43:39] Speaker 2: for work the next. Day go to zbiotics dot com
[43:42] Speaker 2: slash colin fifteen percent off your first order if you
[43:46] Speaker 2: Use colin at, checkout backed by one hundred percent money
[43:49] Speaker 2: back guarantee no. Risk subscriptions are also available for maximum.
[43:53] Speaker 2: Consistency go to zbiotics dot com Slash colin use my
[43:57] Speaker 2: name at checkout fifteen percent. Off The seahawks are the
[44:04] Speaker 2: second youngest. Team they'll be a little tight for The Super,
[44:07] Speaker 2: bowl they'll be a little bit. Tight my guess, is
[44:10] Speaker 2: whereas The patriots spent two hundred and fifty million plus
[44:14] Speaker 2: in free, agency they're older in some. Spots defensive, line
[44:18] Speaker 2: they're a little. Older you, Know Stefan diggs is a little.
[44:22] Speaker 2: Older that they're a Little vraabels been here, Before josh
[44:26] Speaker 2: McDaniels has been here multiple. Times THAT i think if
[44:29] Speaker 2: there was a team that would be a little, tight
[44:31] Speaker 2: it would be the younger first time For, Darnold mike, McDonnell.
[44:34] Speaker 3: It would be it would be The.
[44:36] Speaker 2: Seahawks the other thing THAT i think is absolutely, true
[44:39] Speaker 2: and you saw this With miami And indiana in The,
[44:41] Speaker 2: natty when you tell young athletes you may get blown.
[44:47] Speaker 2: Out miami's first two series Against, indiana they literally bloodied
[44:52] Speaker 2: the lip Of. Mendoza they were like late hits after the.
[44:56] Speaker 2: Witch it was so Clear Mario cristobal had, said nobody respects.
[45:01] Speaker 2: You they played angry for about a half hour and
[45:04] Speaker 2: eventually we're kind of won the war in the. Trenches
[45:07] Speaker 2: But mendoza made the. Plays AND i look at this
[45:11] Speaker 2: AND i, THINK i THINK i may Pick New england to.
[45:14] Speaker 2: Win less pressure won sixteen of. Seventeen older team really
[45:22] Speaker 2: get you're really playing the underdog as. Such remember The
[45:26] Speaker 2: dynasty started With brady being a fourteen point dog to
[45:30] Speaker 2: the team that everybody. Loved everybody Wants seattle to, Win
[45:34] Speaker 2: so there's that kind of there's.
[45:35] Speaker 3: A little bit of a pressure on.
[45:36] Speaker 2: Sale you're the favorite and you're the popular, team and
[45:40] Speaker 2: you look like not only a, favorite you're really.
[45:44] Speaker 3: More you are more.
[45:45] Speaker 2: Athletic if you put in the tape of, both one
[45:47] Speaker 2: is just wow and one is what they're really. EFFICIENT
[45:51] Speaker 2: i really, THINK i really Think New england's going to
[45:57] Speaker 2: be trouble For.
[45:57] Speaker 3: Seattle, listen you know it opened at three and a,
[46:01] Speaker 3: half and you know it went up to four and
[46:04] Speaker 3: a half and maybe it'll hit five by by by game.
[46:06] Speaker 3: TIME i Bet seattle. IMMEDIATELY i bet it as soon
[46:10] Speaker 3: As Championship sunday ended at three and a half and
[46:13] Speaker 3: so GOT i got the good. NUMBER i think that
[46:15] Speaker 3: they are better top to, bottom AND i, think, YES
[46:21] Speaker 3: i think they're better top to, bottom AND i think
[46:25] Speaker 3: that they are more. Tested like they came through THE Nfc,
[46:29] Speaker 3: west They New england came through this crazy easy schedule
[46:33] Speaker 3: in THE Afc. East AND i Think New england loses
[46:37] Speaker 3: if Bon nick doesn't break his, ankle AND i Think
[46:40] Speaker 3: New england maybe loses To houston IF. Cj stroud doesn't
[46:43] Speaker 3: play the worst football game anyone's played in. Town like,
[46:46] Speaker 3: SO i personally that is not to say THAT i
[46:49] Speaker 3: think that they are a. FLUKE i would buy all of.
[46:51] Speaker 3: THIS i Loved Drake may coming out Of North. Carolina
[46:54] Speaker 3: WHEN i first saw him play a game Against, DUKE
[46:56] Speaker 3: i argued On Chicago, radio is Like caleb's the, guy
[46:59] Speaker 3: but the debate should Be Caleber, drake Not Caleber. Jaden
[47:02] Speaker 3: LIKE i Love Drake, may think you'll be a. Star
[47:04] Speaker 3: this is not an Anti hymn thing at. ALL i
[47:07] Speaker 3: just personally think that they a lot of things have
[47:11] Speaker 3: happened where they, are like the team that is a
[47:15] Speaker 3: year or two early that woke up in The Super.
[47:18] Speaker 2: Bowl just they do feel like they're a draft away
[47:22] Speaker 2: from being. Final seattle is ready to. Go they In New.
[47:26] Speaker 2: England their offensive line is a still a major work in, progress, Correct.
[47:31] Speaker 3: And SO i JUST i think that this is which is,
[47:34] Speaker 3: like it's a very Unfair If i'm A patriot fan
[47:37] Speaker 3: listening to, This i'm, like, well screw, you, Man, like
[47:39] Speaker 3: that's like an unfair thing to, say because we are
[47:42] Speaker 3: in The Super. Bowl but, again it just a lot
[47:45] Speaker 3: of things broke your. Way that. Happens it's single elimination,
[47:49] Speaker 3: football it's pro. Sports but, like you played the easiest.
[47:52] Speaker 3: Schedule you had a path to the Super bowl that
[47:56] Speaker 3: was difficult in terms of the caliber of defenses you.
[47:59] Speaker 3: Played and by the, way your quarterback did struggle against those,
[48:03] Speaker 3: defenses he kept fumbling a. Lot he has six fumbles
[48:06] Speaker 3: in the, playoffs three, lost three. RECOVERED i, like it's
[48:09] Speaker 3: just you're a little fortunate to be. Here WHEREAS i
[48:14] Speaker 3: Think seattle all, year number one in, blowouts number one
[48:20] Speaker 3: in point, differential only team that finished top three offense
[48:24] Speaker 3: and top three, defense blew Out San francisco in the
[48:27] Speaker 3: first playoff, game like they have just been you, know
[48:31] Speaker 3: go wire to wire with The rams again in another
[48:36] Speaker 3: week sixteen thirty, eight to thirty Seven Heavyweight Fight, classic
[48:41] Speaker 3: The Championship game against The rams thirty one to twenty
[48:44] Speaker 3: Seven Championship Fight. Classic like they are more battle tested
[48:49] Speaker 3: and they have more impressive blowout margin of. Victory, oh
[48:54] Speaker 3: we are in a different class review games Than New
[48:56] Speaker 3: england has had this. Year So i'm with the, favorites
[49:01] Speaker 3: and it looks Like i'm with the. Public the concern for,
[49:04] Speaker 3: me like when you're talking about like soft factors and
[49:06] Speaker 3: confidence Is Sam donald went from we don't trust you
[49:10] Speaker 3: at all in any big games. Too oh, wow good for.
[49:14] Speaker 3: You you just had the best game of your life in
[49:17] Speaker 3: the biggest game of your, life and now for two
[49:20] Speaker 3: weeks that's all. Anyway he's, like, well, say you can't
[49:24] Speaker 3: Doubt Sam. Donald can't Doubt Sam donald, Anymore Sam, donald
[49:28] Speaker 3: and like throw a first quarter interception and you, know
[49:33] Speaker 3: all of a, sudden Like i'd be a little concerned about. That,
[49:37] Speaker 3: Again BUT i do Think seattle is the better, team
[49:40] Speaker 3: AND i think a lot of stars have, Aligned Like
[49:43] Speaker 3: New england to me feels like they should have made
[49:45] Speaker 3: it to the divisional round of the. Playoffs, yeah and
[49:48] Speaker 3: they're in the Super, bowl so, hey they can win. It, no,
[49:50] Speaker 3: doubt BUT i still Think seattle. Is like you play
[49:53] Speaker 3: this game ten, TIMES i Think seattle wins seven of. Them,
[49:56] Speaker 3: YEAH i do, TOO i do. Too i'm Just i'm you, know,
[49:59] Speaker 3: again it's really. Early but if the number goes to,
[50:02] Speaker 3: Five i'm, like that's a lot of. Points that's a. Lot, yeah,
[50:07] Speaker 3: yeah it, is it. Is it is a lot of.
[50:10] Speaker 2: POINTS i Asked Albert breer, TODAY i Said Tom brady
[50:16] Speaker 2: was available on the market in twenty. Twenty was it twenty? Twenty,
[50:21] Speaker 2: YEAH i was twenty, twenty wasn't. It you mean Before,
[50:24] Speaker 2: Tampa right Before tampa he was on the market for the.
[50:28] Speaker 3: League, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[50:30] Speaker 2: And two, Teams Chargers bucks were aggressively after. It four year,
[50:35] Speaker 2: later four years, later he was the fifth fifth quarterback
[50:38] Speaker 2: still in the, League darnald was available to the, market
[50:41] Speaker 2: And brear's, like, Yeah minnesota And seattle were. It And i'm,
[50:45] Speaker 2: like the, hell trust your, Eyes Brady. Darnald you're trying
[50:50] Speaker 2: to make inexperienced small quarterbacks franchise. Guys and he, said
[50:56] Speaker 2: early evaluations die hard in this. League and so here's my.
[51:02] Speaker 2: Question donald wins The Super, bowl where do you put
[51:09] Speaker 2: him in the? League what the hell DO i do
[51:11] Speaker 2: With donald since his benching In? Carolina if you go
[51:17] Speaker 2: back to that year twenty twenty, two he gets benched
[51:20] Speaker 2: In carolina for the first time in his. Career november twenty,
[51:23] Speaker 2: seventh he gets his job. Back from that moment until,
[51:26] Speaker 2: today he is the winningest quarterback in the league percentage
[51:31] Speaker 2: wise and the most one hundred passing outings percentage. Wise, Like,
[51:37] Speaker 2: okay we've got now four teams four years he.
[51:40] Speaker 3: Wins The Super? Bowl what the hell do we do
[51:43] Speaker 3: With Sam? DARNALD i think so a couple of. THINGS
[51:49] Speaker 3: i think you it'd be very difficult to put him
[51:53] Speaker 3: in like tier, one like if you're gonna if it's
[51:56] Speaker 3: gonna be Mahomes, Alan, Lamar, Stafford, burrow like if that
[52:08] Speaker 3: is your like your top five THAT i think most
[52:11] Speaker 3: people agree, on between talent and accomplishments and all. THAT
[52:15] Speaker 3: i think it's, very, very very difficult to. Say with one,
[52:18] Speaker 3: Ring stafford gets in, there even though Obviously, Lamar burrow
[52:23] Speaker 3: And josh have no. Rings but, again this goes back
[52:25] Speaker 3: to our earlier. Conversation it's not just about who won the.
[52:28] Speaker 3: Ring there's got to be a blend of all of.
[52:30] Speaker 3: It but THEN i think, that like it can be
[52:34] Speaker 3: a personal preference game between six and twelve when you
[52:41] Speaker 3: talk About drake May Dak, Prescott Caleb, Williams Justin Justin,
[52:50] Speaker 3: herbert you, know, LIKE i think, THAT i think it's
[52:54] Speaker 3: totally reasonable for if, he if he wins The Super
[52:57] Speaker 3: bowl and has a great, game for you to Put
[52:59] Speaker 3: Sam darnold into that conversation of, player which is a
[53:04] Speaker 3: remarkable come up from from what you're going to. See
[53:09] Speaker 3: and the other, thing BECAUSE i did this on the
[53:11] Speaker 3: show on The monday After Championship, sunday we you're, right
[53:16] Speaker 3: first Impressions. Diehard it's a good way to say, it
[53:19] Speaker 3: but if you actually do go back and look at,
[53:22] Speaker 3: it it's, like, man we labeled this kid a bust
[53:27] Speaker 3: because at twenty, one twenty, two and twenty three years,
[53:31] Speaker 3: old With Todd bowles And Adam, gase he wasn't able
[53:36] Speaker 3: to save The New york, guy, Right and then it's, like, oh,
[53:40] Speaker 3: well then he gets a he gets he gets to
[53:42] Speaker 3: go to that really, stable great quarterback factory Of Championship
[53:48] Speaker 3: Carolina panthers With Matt, rule and he got a year
[53:53] Speaker 3: before they brought in the one quarterback in his, Class
[53:56] Speaker 3: baker drafted in front of, him and So bay you,
[54:00] Speaker 3: know he plays six games and then it's back up
[54:04] Speaker 3: For Kyle, shanahan back up For kevin, O'Connell but fortuitous
[54:10] Speaker 3: injury and first time he, has first time he gets
[54:14] Speaker 3: to play for a real head coach with real, weapons
[54:19] Speaker 3: with real, weapons he wins fourteen. Games, well it's, like
[54:24] Speaker 3: So i've been trying to think about who is that instructive.
[54:27] Speaker 3: FOR i Think Daniel jones it's instructive. For and WHILE
[54:33] Speaker 3: i am not the biggest, fan AND i know you
[54:35] Speaker 3: probably aren't either because of. Size If I'm Kyler murray's,
[54:39] Speaker 3: Agent i'm, like hey, man my guy's got, talent but,
[54:45] Speaker 3: like can give give him? Something don't bet on the.
[54:49] Speaker 3: Talent like Is Deshaun watson? Done LIKE I i think
[54:53] Speaker 3: so obviously that brings in a different whole host of.
[54:56] Speaker 3: Issues but like If Sam, Donald Sam donald's twenty eight years,
[55:00] Speaker 3: Old if he wins his First Super bowl at twenty
[55:03] Speaker 3: eight and he has back to back fourteen win seasons
[55:05] Speaker 3: with back to back four thousand, Yards Matt stafford didn't
[55:08] Speaker 3: win A Super bowl till he was thirty, Four like
[55:11] Speaker 3: we could be talking about top ten Quarterback Sam darnold
[55:14] Speaker 3: for the next. Decade, well, yeah And seattle because they
[55:17] Speaker 3: draft so, well.
[55:18] Speaker 2: They're not paying. ANYBODY i MEAN, Jsn they're not paying
[55:23] Speaker 2: any of these. GUYS i Mean charles Cost a left,
[55:25] Speaker 2: Tackle Gray zabel's not getting. Paid most of their defense
[55:29] Speaker 2: isn't getting. Paid witherspoon's not getting. Paid im And maury
[55:32] Speaker 2: the safety's not getting. Paid Like DeMarcus lawrence has been
[55:36] Speaker 2: a it's like a wildly dynamic player for his. Age
[55:41] Speaker 2: but when you have a great general, manager the truth
[55:45] Speaker 2: is you can pay the quarterback a little more and
[55:47] Speaker 2: you don't have a regression on. Roster like that's the
[55:49] Speaker 2: problem with The. Bills they haven't drafted well enough, defensively
[55:53] Speaker 2: yeah or.
[55:54] Speaker 3: Period, yeah They and like there's a big difference between
[55:59] Speaker 3: playing paying a quarterback sixty five million and thirty five.
[56:02] Speaker 3: MILLION i can do the. Math it's about thirty million.
[56:04] Speaker 3: Dollars you. Know that's that's two real. Starters, like So
[56:08] Speaker 3: Sam darnold is a bargain for because, yeah the best
[56:12] Speaker 3: way to do it is if you could Have drake
[56:14] Speaker 3: may be a superstar on a rookie. Contract but the
[56:17] Speaker 3: next best way to do it is to do it this.
[56:20] Speaker 3: Way to have top ten level, production but pay him the.
[56:24] Speaker 3: Whatever he is the fifteenth or eighteenth highest paid quarterback in,
[56:28] Speaker 3: football so he set up for a long, time and
[56:31] Speaker 3: we just we all do. It but we, oh twenty
[56:36] Speaker 3: two year old kid goes to dysfunctional franchise plays for three.
[56:41] Speaker 3: Years two years didn't save. Them you must stink like
[56:45] Speaker 3: for some. Guys i'm sure for some guys it's obviously.
[56:47] Speaker 3: True but the guys to your point who our mobile are,
[56:53] Speaker 3: big have a big arm like, that have all of
[56:55] Speaker 3: the traits and don't seem to be like complete. Knuckleheads
[56:58] Speaker 3: she probably not sell all of our stock in those,
[57:02] Speaker 3: players and SO i think, AGAIN i Think Daniel jones
[57:04] Speaker 3: is a pretty good example of.
[57:05] Speaker 2: That, finally my first winner In chicago doesn't really bother.
[57:10] Speaker 2: Me i've come to the conclusion if it's like twenty
[57:12] Speaker 2: five or, Up i'm. Fine if it's in the teams
[57:15] Speaker 2: and a little, windy it's, brutal but it's it's remarkable
[57:20] Speaker 2: watching the. Reaction everybody In chicago comes up to me and,
[57:23] Speaker 2: goes how do you like your first winner? Here And i'm,
[57:26] Speaker 2: LIKE i bought a. Coat i'm, Okay like it's not
[57:29] Speaker 2: good for. You, yeah good for.
[57:31] Speaker 3: YOU i heard you though ON tv when like the
[57:33] Speaker 3: last weekend or, whatever when it was it was a little. Cold, yeah, yeah,
[57:40] Speaker 3: yeah trust, me we got eighteen inches of snow out
[57:43] Speaker 3: here In New york and it was real. Cold so
[57:45] Speaker 3: like it builds, character but it's still. Cold you're still
[57:49] Speaker 3: allowed to say it's. Cold but that's the, Thing like
[57:51] Speaker 3: when it's, cold there's football, ON i want to be inside.
[57:53] Speaker 3: Anyway how did you watch football when you could be
[57:57] Speaker 3: golfing on the. Beach it's LIKE i, WOULD i. WOULDN'T
[57:59] Speaker 3: i Just i'd be inside watching football. Anyway, WELL i
[58:02] Speaker 3: Think i've said. This the hut levels are much higher
[58:05] Speaker 3: and lousy weather if you go To, seattle In minneapolis
[58:09] Speaker 3: And chicago And wisconsin And philadelphia And. Boston Jerry seinfeld
[58:14] Speaker 3: always used to talking about the comedy Jet. Stream it's
[58:16] Speaker 3: it's people read. More they get the joke faster in
[58:20] Speaker 3: those cold weather. Cities phoenix is not, funny it's. Obnoxious boston's,
[58:24] Speaker 3: funny it's. Cranky there is something to be said about
[58:27] Speaker 3: the weather forces you indoors and you become more passionate. Fans,
[58:31] Speaker 3: buffalo it's nothing Against. Phoenix In, houston but you can go.
[58:36] Speaker 2: OUTSIDE i, mean it's just why stay indoors and WATCH
[58:39] Speaker 2: tv in the.
[58:40] Speaker 3: Spring we've talked about this in sports talk. Radio, markets
[58:44] Speaker 3: like the places that get the highest, ratings that have
[58:46] Speaker 3: the best they're all cold weather, cities all of. Them,
[58:49] Speaker 3: Yeah like you, know the ticket In dallas gets big
[58:52] Speaker 3: numbers or, whatever the total outlier like every other warm weather.
[58:56] Speaker 3: City it's, like do you even care even? Care you're
[59:00] Speaker 3: you're you're out playing, tennis you're out, golfing you're out
[59:03] Speaker 3: like living like a, cultured well rounded. LIFE i have
[59:06] Speaker 3: no time for.
[59:06] Speaker 2: That and, also people that live In chicago And philly
[59:10] Speaker 2: And seattle choose to live. Here like a lot of
[59:14] Speaker 2: people live In, florida no state tax and it's good
