[0:56] Speaker 3: Yeah, and honestly, I'm I'm looking forward to taking like
[0:59] Speaker 3: a little hour nap here before kickoff. So I'm I'm
[1:02] Speaker 3: fired up these Uh. I'm sure people have seen all
[1:05] Speaker 3: the trends and all the stuff this week. It's it's
[1:08] Speaker 3: a known week for dog betters, like it's a good
[1:10] Speaker 3: week through betting dogs and uh yeah, it's uh it's
[1:15] Speaker 3: a busy week, and luckily, you know, we've talked about
[1:18] Speaker 3: all the games this week.
[1:19] Speaker 2: There's we up to five quarterbacks out or four quarterbacks
[1:22] Speaker 2: are out. We're not really hyper focused on those games,
[1:25] Speaker 2: thank god.
[1:26] Speaker 3: So uh, for me, it's like, you know, there wasn't
[1:30] Speaker 3: a lot of people complained about already having quarterbacks injuries
[1:33] Speaker 3: and everything like that, But to me, it's you can
[1:36] Speaker 3: avoid those games. There's so many good, good games this
[1:38] Speaker 3: week and so many good lines this week. So yeah,
[1:41] Speaker 3: not not too hyper focused on that Vikings Bengals game.
[1:44] Speaker 2: But yeah, there's plenty other ones we're gonna talk about.
[1:46] Speaker 1: Here, all right, So let's let's get into it. These
[1:49] Speaker 1: are the games we adzered in on the other day,
[1:53] Speaker 1: and a reminder a lot of times we get we're
[1:56] Speaker 1: in a contest. Those contest lines locked on Wednesday, The
[2:01] Speaker 1: lines move over the course of the past few days
[2:04] Speaker 1: oftentimes are the same. But if we can take advantage
[2:07] Speaker 1: of these contest lines on games that we already liked,
[2:10] Speaker 1: we do. The first one up Green Bay of Cleveland.
[2:13] Speaker 1: That line is pretty much painted seven and a half
[2:16] Speaker 1: across the board. We like Cleveland all week at eight
[2:20] Speaker 1: and a half. It is at eight and a half
[2:22] Speaker 1: in the contest. I still think i'd like Cleveland at
[2:26] Speaker 1: seven and a half for purposes of anyone listening or
[2:29] Speaker 1: watching the show right now. But you're not getting the
[2:31] Speaker 1: best of the number. So at eight and a half,
[2:35] Speaker 1: to me, it feels like we've played it. It's eight
[2:37] Speaker 1: and a half in the contest, feels like we want
[2:40] Speaker 1: to lock in on that one.
[2:43] Speaker 3: Yeah, another game we were never going to avoid. And
[2:47] Speaker 3: this is what I love about me and Chad doing
[2:49] Speaker 3: the show together, that there's some games that one of
[2:52] Speaker 3: us could talk to the other person out of this game.
[2:55] Speaker 3: As soon as I saw the number, I said, there's
[2:57] Speaker 3: no there's no way we don't take this number, let
[2:59] Speaker 3: alone having the contest.
[3:00] Speaker 2: And there's still one very public book.
[3:03] Speaker 3: Out there that has eight and a half. Yes, but
[3:05] Speaker 3: I don't mind grabbing the seven and a half at
[3:06] Speaker 3: hard rocket. If that's your heart, if that's the only
[3:08] Speaker 3: choice you have, you're still getting a really good number
[3:10] Speaker 3: with the hook. And let's be honest, the difference between
[3:15] Speaker 3: seven and a half eight and a half, it's just mental,
[3:17] Speaker 3: like the odds of it actually landing on eight. It's
[3:20] Speaker 3: obviously there's percent show chance, So that's why you want
[3:22] Speaker 3: the best of the number. But I just see this
[3:26] Speaker 3: one either being a field goal win by green Bay
[3:30] Speaker 3: honesty or somehow Cleveland pulls up the opposite.
[3:32] Speaker 2: You just again, we're in week three here.
[3:33] Speaker 3: Week three, you see a lot of really weird stuff
[3:35] Speaker 3: where there's teams that get heavily overvalued and there's teams
[3:39] Speaker 3: that get heavily undervalued, and you see the line reflect that.
[3:42] Speaker 3: And you've seen it here, right, it's been I mean,
[3:45] Speaker 3: there's a couple of books that are getting Cleveland money,
[3:46] Speaker 3: but the most most bookmakers I've talked through this week,
[3:49] Speaker 3: it's just all green Bay money. And they're very happy
[3:53] Speaker 3: when I come into bet on Cleveland. So they they
[3:56] Speaker 3: they've needed to help from their professionals balance in the
[3:58] Speaker 3: books just because of how how heavy they are with
[4:01] Speaker 3: the moneyline parlais, the teasers. Everything is just on green Bay,
[4:05] Speaker 3: Green Bay. You know, I don't know how many people
[4:08] Speaker 3: took them with their survivor pool, right, it's green Bay
[4:10] Speaker 3: on the road. But they're just people are doing that,
[4:12] Speaker 3: which is a crazy thing to think about, right. It's
[4:14] Speaker 3: it's just a variable love team right now. Because people
[4:16] Speaker 3: are so hyper focused on the defensive line and how
[4:19] Speaker 3: well Jordan loves to play for good reason. Right, they
[4:21] Speaker 3: look like the best team right now in the NFC,
[4:22] Speaker 3: but we see timetime again. It's really hard to be
[4:25] Speaker 3: at your best three four weeks in a row, especially
[4:29] Speaker 3: in the NFL, especially when you're going up against a
[4:32] Speaker 3: Cleveland defensive line. So yeah, me and Chad know the deal.
[4:35] Speaker 3: We are betting on Joe Flacco. We're gonna need a
[4:37] Speaker 3: back door. We're gonna need a miracle cover at some point,
[4:40] Speaker 3: and uh yeah, it's it's really us putting our faith
[4:43] Speaker 3: into this Cleveland defense and also that their offense is
[4:46] Speaker 3: as bad as the public reception is right now.
[4:49] Speaker 2: So Jed I I.
[4:50] Speaker 3: Unfortunately I thought on Thursday, maybe something will happen. I
[4:53] Speaker 3: can talk chat out of this one. But this is
[4:55] Speaker 3: I knew it right away last week on Sunday. This
[4:57] Speaker 3: is gonna be guaranteed in our contest, especially at eight
[5:00] Speaker 3: and a half.
[5:00] Speaker 1: Guy, I was never going to be talked out of
[5:03] Speaker 1: this one. Like I wanted you. I wanted you to
[5:07] Speaker 1: talk me out of it. I was desperate. I told
[5:10] Speaker 1: you I watched the condensed version of this game on
[5:14] Speaker 1: the rowing machine. That's how much I wanted to not
[5:18] Speaker 1: bet on Cleveland.
[5:19] Speaker 2: I was looking at.
[5:20] Speaker 1: Yeah, the Ravens Cleveland game. I was I was desperate
[5:23] Speaker 1: to not have to bet on the Browns. But I
[5:26] Speaker 1: just like the number. It's number one and number two
[5:30] Speaker 1: rush defenses in yards per carry. So if green Bay
[5:34] Speaker 1: is going to win this game, it's going to because
[5:36] Speaker 1: Jordan Love throws deep in over the top. But that
[5:39] Speaker 1: also plays itself, I think too, a lot more in completions,
[5:43] Speaker 1: a lot more potential plays in the game, So that
[5:46] Speaker 1: could favor Cleveland because it allows for a little more
[5:51] Speaker 1: variants and turnovers and things like that. So we're gonna
[5:54] Speaker 1: be on the Browns. We can try to rationalize it
[5:56] Speaker 1: any any way we want. Looking at the numbers, we're
[5:59] Speaker 1: on a elite, top tier defense at home against an
[6:04] Speaker 1: overvalued team versus an undervalued team. We're just gonna do it.
[6:08] Speaker 1: Love it Houston at Jacksonville. So this got to two
[6:14] Speaker 1: and a half. It's at one and a half right now. Wise,
[6:17] Speaker 1: guys have been hitting this the Jacksonville Jaguarser plus one
[6:20] Speaker 1: and a half. It got to two and a half
[6:22] Speaker 1: for like two hours in the middle of the week,
[6:25] Speaker 1: and then it kept moving down, down down, I think
[6:28] Speaker 1: for this game. We like Houston. We've bet Houston. We
[6:34] Speaker 1: really have to believe that the quality of the Texans
[6:37] Speaker 1: losses against the Bucks and the Rams shows that they
[6:41] Speaker 1: are the better team here and that their history of
[6:45] Speaker 1: consistently winning in their division is going to prove to
[6:50] Speaker 1: be the difference against a Jacks team. I don't think
[6:53] Speaker 1: we're sold on considering the two games they played so far.
[6:57] Speaker 3: Yeah, and as hard don't want to beg at tale
[7:00] Speaker 3: for the Texans, there's a lot of things that are
[7:04] Speaker 3: shown up on tape that I think a lot of
[7:05] Speaker 3: people are seeing in the football world that is pretty
[7:08] Speaker 3: alarming on this Texans team and not something we think
[7:12] Speaker 3: they're gonna overnight fix.
[7:13] Speaker 2: Right.
[7:14] Speaker 3: Their run defense might be a major problem for them
[7:16] Speaker 3: going forward this season, and obviously they don't really have
[7:20] Speaker 3: a running game. And you know, we joke that Nick
[7:23] Speaker 3: Chubb touchdown. The more you watch it, the more you
[7:26] Speaker 3: do realize that was a.
[7:26] Speaker 2: Gimme, Right.
[7:27] Speaker 3: They just don't have that running back right now that
[7:30] Speaker 3: can offset CJ. And that's that's a big deal because
[7:34] Speaker 3: last year you did see Joe Mixon was very very
[7:37] Speaker 3: good for them, even if the numbers don't back it up.
[7:40] Speaker 2: He was an effective weapon, especially in the red zend
[7:42] Speaker 2: for them last year.
[7:43] Speaker 3: So this one with the Texans really is about us
[7:47] Speaker 3: trusting the numbers and once again teams or just I
[7:52] Speaker 3: should say, the public leaving these teams for dead. Right.
[7:55] Speaker 3: They're owing to oh and two against the spread and
[7:59] Speaker 3: it's only for professional money. The only the thing that
[8:01] Speaker 3: gives me hesitation with them is I don't know if
[8:04] Speaker 3: I don't know about you chat, I don't know if
[8:05] Speaker 3: I've talked to a single professional better that's on the Jaguars.
[8:09] Speaker 2: It's all Texans.
[8:10] Speaker 3: I know the public is on the Jaguars, and which
[8:12] Speaker 3: I totally understand, but it's always little nerve wrecking where
[8:16] Speaker 3: it's just like last week with the Jets, where it's
[8:18] Speaker 3: just all love for this side. And like you said,
[8:21] Speaker 3: the numbers come down our contest, it's plus a half,
[8:25] Speaker 3: but we're not even getting one and a half if
[8:26] Speaker 3: we take the Texans. We're literally we're saying they're gonna
[8:29] Speaker 3: win this game, like they're not. I mean, they're not
[8:31] Speaker 3: tying this game. So do we believe Houston can win
[8:36] Speaker 3: this game?
[8:36] Speaker 2: I do.
[8:37] Speaker 3: It's a team that has done really well against the Jaguars.
[8:40] Speaker 3: Doesn't matter who their coaches, who their quarterback is just
[8:42] Speaker 3: consistently they've matched up well against them, and we know
[8:45] Speaker 3: divisionally there's weird things like that, there's weird quirks like
[8:48] Speaker 3: that were different teams.
[8:50] Speaker 2: You know, just scheme up against well against other teams.
[8:52] Speaker 3: So it's we wouldn't be shocked Houston going over three.
[8:57] Speaker 3: They have major issues, but I love a deper team
[9:00] Speaker 3: like they are with a type of mentality. Happened Dmiico
[9:03] Speaker 3: Ryans in this spot against a Jacksonville team that could
[9:07] Speaker 3: be fraudulent, Like we gave him a lot of love
[9:11] Speaker 3: because they beat up on a Panthers defense and then
[9:14] Speaker 3: beat up on a Cincinnati defense.
[9:16] Speaker 2: Here we go. This is a true test.
[9:18] Speaker 3: You have an incredibly desperate Houston's team that got embarrassed
[9:22] Speaker 3: and there's no other way to put it. Like they
[9:24] Speaker 3: let Bucky and White run all over them last week
[9:27] Speaker 3: against the Buccaneers, as Buccaneers did whatever they want in
[9:29] Speaker 3: the run game. So I just tend to love these
[9:33] Speaker 3: teams in these exact spots and all the negativity around CJ,
[9:39] Speaker 3: I expect him to make some big plays for us
[9:41] Speaker 3: in this spot. I know he's hearing the noise and
[9:42] Speaker 3: he's feeling it after being and again just outplayed on
[9:46] Speaker 3: a Monday night primetime game. So we are not getting
[9:49] Speaker 3: the best of the number. Really, why force us to
[9:52] Speaker 3: take a number that's not the best of them. But
[9:54] Speaker 3: there's two games here that we have to pick between.
[9:56] Speaker 3: The Houston's one of them where it's like, I could
[9:58] Speaker 3: you talked out of it, Chader? I wanted to, but
[10:01] Speaker 3: I've been bet into it so heavy. I'm so confident
[10:03] Speaker 3: in the number. I obviously wish we had the one
[10:06] Speaker 3: and a half, but I'll take.
[10:07] Speaker 2: The half and I'll play it in our contest if
[10:09] Speaker 2: you want to.
[10:10] Speaker 1: Well, let's you had a whole journey there, because in
[10:12] Speaker 1: the beginning I thought you were gonna say that you're

[10:44] Speaker 1: at Philadelphia Eagles, it's three and a half. It's three
[10:48] Speaker 1: at hard Rock. If you can get the three, take
[10:51] Speaker 1: the Eagles. I live in Connecticut. I have been waiting
[10:54] Speaker 1: for this thing to get back down to three. It's
[10:56] Speaker 1: not gonna get there. I'm gonna have to bite the
[10:57] Speaker 1: bullet and take the three and a half. We are
[11:00] Speaker 1: against the wise guys on this. I hate that we
[11:03] Speaker 1: are not getting the three, I really really do. But
[11:07] Speaker 1: why can't I get over this Eagles team? Why do
[11:10] Speaker 1: I feel like the Rams had incredible games against two
[11:14] Speaker 1: teams one in the Texans one of the Titans that
[11:19] Speaker 1: haven't found their way yet, and the Eagles are like it,
[11:23] Speaker 1: that uber confident we can win at an eighty percent
[11:27] Speaker 1: level and not even open up our full back of
[11:29] Speaker 1: tricks yet. Stage and Saiquon Barkley could have run for
[11:34] Speaker 1: one thousand yards and eight touchdowns in this game.
[11:38] Speaker 3: And I will say this, respect the hard Rock for
[11:40] Speaker 3: a hole in the three, because it's no other book here,
[11:44] Speaker 3: especially in New Jersey, has been at the three.
[11:46] Speaker 1: And it looks like they've been taking the Rams money
[11:49] Speaker 1: and they're just moving the juice like I've been waiting
[11:51] Speaker 1: for four days for this thing to go to three somewhere.
[11:55] Speaker 3: It's and I was gonna say, you said the professional
[11:57] Speaker 3: size of Rams, it's not.
[11:59] Speaker 2: I told you it's not as profession Do you think it's.
[12:01] Speaker 3: It's a weird spot where it's not like I said,
[12:05] Speaker 3: it's not that it's the lazy professional bet, but it
[12:07] Speaker 3: is right, they're they're strictly looking at this is the
[12:10] Speaker 3: Rams have been playing better first two games of the year.
[12:14] Speaker 3: Eagles teams offense looks futrid. They don't look consistent, and
[12:19] Speaker 3: you know it's rare you have the defending super Bowl
[12:23] Speaker 3: champ who just beat the team they defeating the Super
[12:27] Speaker 3: Bowl on the road the week before, be just bad
[12:30] Speaker 3: mouthed by people. Right, it doesn't really happen that often
[12:33] Speaker 3: that the team starts too enough to winning Super Bowl
[12:35] Speaker 3: and people are just down on them. So I think
[12:38] Speaker 3: we're in the same line here of this is just
[12:41] Speaker 3: a surprisingly by low spot and a fade of an
[12:45] Speaker 3: overrated RAMS team that we have no doubt in their
[12:48] Speaker 3: talent level. Right Stafford with those weapons and he looks good, right,
[12:51] Speaker 3: I don't know if it's the shots he's take or
[12:53] Speaker 3: wherever it is. He looks in mid season form like
[12:55] Speaker 3: this is the best he's looked since. You know, I
[12:58] Speaker 3: would say that Bills game going back to last year
[13:00] Speaker 3: when he was at home against the Building, he put
[13:02] Speaker 3: up like forty two points. So you know, we haven't
[13:05] Speaker 3: had this Stafford in a long time. He just looks
[13:07] Speaker 3: totally in rhythm, solely confident. But when you break down
[13:11] Speaker 3: this Eagles defense and how they can attack it, I mean,
[13:13] Speaker 3: they haven't really had to have, you know, shown their
[13:16] Speaker 3: weakness year, but the offensive line is an actual weakness
[13:19] Speaker 3: to this Rams team. And you saw in that Houston game,
[13:23] Speaker 3: right there was a reason they were only have to
[13:24] Speaker 3: put up fourteen points against that Rams defense, and it
[13:27] Speaker 3: was just because Stafford was under rest and didn't have time.
[13:30] Speaker 3: And you look at this match for the Eagles team,
[13:33] Speaker 3: they actually surprisingly have been really really good at a
[13:35] Speaker 3: rushing the passer. And you saw that last week with Mahomes.
[13:39] Speaker 3: It didn't show up in the stats because he scrambled
[13:41] Speaker 3: so much. Stafford is not That's not a part of
[13:43] Speaker 3: Stafford's game at all. He is not the scrambling type.
[13:46] Speaker 2: So it's gonna ben issues of the game.
[13:48] Speaker 3: We're gonna look know pretty quick, right, if they can
[13:50] Speaker 3: get Stafford off his spot right or some out of
[13:53] Speaker 3: this or some out of the middle. That's a Jaalen
[13:55] Speaker 3: Carter stat if he can get up the middle, and
[13:58] Speaker 3: then it's about the Eagles getting back to the run game.
[13:59] Speaker 3: I know the whole questions have been about hurts in
[14:01] Speaker 3: the passing offense.
[14:03] Speaker 2: To me, I get what they're doing. Right.
[14:05] Speaker 3: There's the same thing you saw with Josh Allen did
[14:07] Speaker 3: on Thursday night. It's like, I'm just not gonna lose
[14:10] Speaker 3: this game, Like you're gonna make the mistake and I'll
[14:13] Speaker 3: trust in our defense and our offense play small enough
[14:16] Speaker 3: not to make that thurnover and you know, make that
[14:18] Speaker 3: huge mistake and you kind of see that that's the
[14:21] Speaker 3: way the NFL is going now. People are gonna start
[14:23] Speaker 3: playing more conservative, just safe for football and trying to
[14:25] Speaker 3: make the other guys blink first. And we've seen it
[14:28] Speaker 3: with Stafford. Stafford is an absolute gun slinger. If he
[14:31] Speaker 3: gets behind seven, he will start throwing to those tight
[14:34] Speaker 3: windows because that's just.
[14:35] Speaker 2: The type of player is.
[14:36] Speaker 3: You can't change who he is, right, he is what
[14:38] Speaker 3: he is so I love this number. It's funny where
[14:41] Speaker 3: if this was four, I would honestly have a different
[14:43] Speaker 3: tune on up. But the fact that it's three and
[14:45] Speaker 3: a half, I do think there's a really good value bet.
[14:47] Speaker 3: And I'm with Chad. If you can get the three
[14:50] Speaker 3: like you kind of hard rock, go get it. But
[14:53] Speaker 3: I no issues taking the.

[15:23] Speaker 1: Jalen Hurts only knows what's happening inside his building and
[15:27] Speaker 1: how he can manage this offense and doing exactly what
[15:29] Speaker 1: he needs to do to win, and if the Eagles
[15:31] Speaker 1: need Jalen Hurst to throw down field more to win
[15:34] Speaker 1: a game, then that's what he's going to figure out
[15:36] Speaker 1: how to do. And so to me, I am just
[15:39] Speaker 1: not that worried about the ineffectiveness of this Eagles offense
[15:42] Speaker 1: at certain spots in the games because Jalen Hurts knows
[15:46] Speaker 1: exactly who he is and what this team needs. Feels
[15:50] Speaker 1: like Eagles three and a half and Brown's eight and
[15:52] Speaker 1: a half right now are making strong entries for positions
[15:57] Speaker 1: in the contest. We're on the fence about Houston. Today's
