[2:12] Speaker 2: that tackle Josh Simmons running down the field to save
[2:16] Speaker 2: the game. I thought, if Kansas City scored there, now,
[2:19] Speaker 2: I don't know if they could slow down Philly they
[2:22] Speaker 2: had that time, But I mean, you just never know
[2:24] Speaker 2: with Sakuon, like you said, some big playmakers. They were
[2:26] Speaker 2: just gonna have to win that game on Guyle toughness,
[2:28] Speaker 2: and it was gonna be if they had pulled that off.
[2:31] Speaker 2: Let's say Kelsey catches it or that doesn't happen and
[2:33] Speaker 2: they score just an incredible championship like metal type game
[2:37] Speaker 2: for them. But they don't have much right now. You know,
[2:40] Speaker 2: Worthy being hurt, Rice being suspended, You know that. I
[2:43] Speaker 2: thought Travis was having a good game until that moment.
[2:47] Speaker 2: Obviously Patrick missed you know Thornton earlier. Yeah, in that drive,
[2:51] Speaker 2: we ended up hitting him, which might have given them
[2:53] Speaker 2: a little more time. They wouldn't have to force it.
[2:55] Speaker 2: Let's face at Kansas City right now. I expected defensively,
[2:58] Speaker 2: they got shredded last game against her and and Hirts
[3:02] Speaker 2: treaded them in the Super Bowl, so I knew that
[3:04] Speaker 2: they were going to bring it defensively. But offensively, I mean,
[3:06] Speaker 2: they got an old Kelsey Hollywood Brown. I mean their
[3:11] Speaker 2: running backs are okay, they run hard, but are they
[3:14] Speaker 2: starting on most of the teams in the league.
[3:16] Speaker 1: I mean, I think they'll be fine when they get
[3:18] Speaker 1: Rashi Rice back in four weeks. I think they will.
[3:20] Speaker 1: I think they'll find their way. Denver losing the game
[3:22] Speaker 1: they should have won today, that's a huge break for them.

[3:39] Speaker 1: want to hear this, but I felt like Sirianni and
[3:42] Speaker 1: Jalen Hurts. Sirianni was coaching with a lot of confidence,
[3:47] Speaker 1: like when they when they took a lead, his whole
[3:50] Speaker 1: thing was, guys, we can just ground this out. Let's
[3:53] Speaker 1: not take any big I mean, they didn't take one
[3:55] Speaker 1: big shot down the field to Devonte Smith and they
[3:57] Speaker 1: hit on that. But I felt Philadelphia's kind of felt like, Okay,
[4:01] Speaker 1: we're on the road, we have the better roster, We're
[4:05] Speaker 1: gonna grind these guys out in the second half. And
[4:08] Speaker 1: it was just one of those things, especially after that
[4:10] Speaker 1: interception on the deflection. And let's be honest, if you
[4:13] Speaker 1: have a great coach, great coordinator, spags and a great
[4:17] Speaker 1: quarterback at home after you were humiliated in the Super Bowl,
[4:20] Speaker 1: the game was gonna be close. The line was one
[4:22] Speaker 1: and a half. It was I said it Friday on
[4:24] Speaker 1: the Herd. I'm like, guys, it's gonna be a close
[4:27] Speaker 1: game late and Philadelphia will situationally get a key first
[4:31] Speaker 1: down or four and win. So the game kind of
[4:34] Speaker 1: looked like I thought, But I thought Philadelphia I felt
[4:36] Speaker 1: in the fourth quarter John, they felt they had the game.
[4:40] Speaker 1: It's like they brought in a closer in baseball and
[4:42] Speaker 1: they kind of I mean, how many times did they
[4:44] Speaker 1: use the tush push today? Seven nine, a lot?
[4:50] Speaker 2: Well. Brady mentioned it though on the goal line play
[4:52] Speaker 2: where the two guys jumped off side, they didn't call it,
[4:55] Speaker 2: and that that obviously was a huge play in the game.
[4:58] Speaker 2: I do think the Chiefs they everything they have, they
[5:01] Speaker 2: just don't have much right now. And one elephant in
[5:04] Speaker 2: the room is Kelsey's old Now. Now, granted he was
[5:07] Speaker 2: having a good game relative to what he's been in
[5:10] Speaker 2: the regular season, but man, that play where the dude
[5:13] Speaker 2: picks it off and takes it to midfield and they
[5:14] Speaker 2: end up scoring was a crippling moment for a team.
[5:18] Speaker 2: This is not the twenty nineteen, twenty twenty twenty twenty
[5:21] Speaker 2: one version they cannot score against. Let's face, they're playing
[5:24] Speaker 2: Vic Fangio, who's one of, if not the best defensive
[5:27] Speaker 2: coordinator in the league, with just a really good defensive personnel, right,
[5:31] Speaker 2: I mean, you see Jordan Davis looks. Look how that
[5:34] Speaker 2: guy physically looks. Fantastic. Obviously, Jalen Carter's one of the
[5:37] Speaker 2: best players. You know, Vaughn all their you know, defensive backs.
[5:42] Speaker 2: Mitchell's a really good player. So that's a tough loss.
[5:46] Speaker 2: I mean, that's that's pretty devastating because you threw everything
[5:49] Speaker 2: you had, Your coaching was at a high level, your
[5:51] Speaker 2: quarterback was just trying to will his way, and you're
[5:56] Speaker 2: just still not good enough. Right, So you've had two
[5:58] Speaker 2: straight weeks, right, you know, the Eagles are going to
[6:00] Speaker 2: be one of the best teams in the league all
[6:01] Speaker 2: season long. The Chargers obviously, if Herbert's gonna play at
[6:04] Speaker 2: that level, they're gonna be an awesome team. And you've
[6:06] Speaker 2: lost two games right against really good teams. That's where
[6:09] Speaker 2: it's like, you hope once these guys come back Rice
[6:11] Speaker 2: off the suspension, you know, if Worthy can get healthy,
[6:14] Speaker 2: you're just gonna have to win these games off. Guyle
[6:16] Speaker 2: in toughness, but eventually you kind of run out of gas, right.
[6:18] Speaker 1: And Denver's got a better roster. But Denver gave that
[6:21] Speaker 1: game away late today against Indy. Three dumb penalties in
[6:24] Speaker 1: the last four to twenty. So again you get a
[6:26] Speaker 1: break in division, and the Chargers probably beat the Raiders,
[6:30] Speaker 1: So you know, I still contend they're gonna be a
[6:32] Speaker 1: wild card team in this division. They'll be fine all right.
[6:35] Speaker 1: Time to look at this weekend's tastiest matchup in this

[7:20] Speaker 1: the field once he's off script, and it just becomes
[7:24] Speaker 1: ad libbing. It's backyard football. I don't think this is

[7:30] Speaker 1: It's the second week in a row, the first series again,
[7:33] Speaker 1: they dial up. They got about eight to ten plays.
[7:36] Speaker 1: It looks fine, it's very tight, but how many plays

[7:44] Speaker 1: he clearly Caleb doesn't see the field particularly well. And

[8:54] Speaker 2: talented player and Caleb, to me is a major question mark.
[8:57] Speaker 2: But we have seen Hall of Fame guys get with
[8:59] Speaker 2: the coordinator and it not work. Scheme is in basketball,
[9:04] Speaker 2: whatever plays you're running, if I'm a great player, you're
[9:07] Speaker 2: gonna make it work, and I'm not going anywhere. That's
[9:09] Speaker 2: not the way football works. Then you factor in, Like
[9:12] Speaker 2: you said, there was an interception he threw today, there
[9:15] Speaker 2: was classic usc He rolls to his right, hero ball,
[9:18] Speaker 2: throws an awful pick. It leads to a touchdown. I
[9:21] Speaker 2: can't remember if it was fourteen fourteen at the time
[9:23] Speaker 2: or twenty one to fourteen, but it was one of
[9:25] Speaker 2: those plays they show Ben Johnson getting really mad. That
[9:28] Speaker 2: cannot happen, right. Obviously, there are gonna be plays where
[9:31] Speaker 2: nothing's there. The Lions are gonna be hard to beat
[9:33] Speaker 2: at home. I like the Lions a lot today in

[9:56] Speaker 2: excellent first half, but Sean Payton is tied to him.

[10:03] Speaker 2: like that power of when I draft you, when I
[10:06] Speaker 2: believed in you from before you become an NFL player,
[10:09] Speaker 2: is powerful that it's not. Ben Johnson took this job,
[10:12] Speaker 2: maybe intrigued by Caleb, but you see through two weeks
[10:14] Speaker 2: his his mannerisms on the sideline with his face, and
[10:18] Speaker 2: it's that this was an eberflu's game. I mean, this
[10:21] Speaker 2: was pretty embarrassed. It's not all Caleb's fault. This was
[10:23] Speaker 2: not like he was worse last week. But this is
[10:27] Speaker 2: not this This the Bears are a joke. Colin. You
[10:29] Speaker 2: and I've been talking the organization. I wrote down Ryan
[10:32] Speaker 2: Poles is this is this roster the most overrated roster
[10:35] Speaker 2: we've heard in that last couple of years. Listen, the
[10:38] Speaker 2: Lions are missing players from last year and that looked
[10:41] Speaker 2: like Georgia playing cal Pally or something. It was crazy.
[10:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's funny. I remember before Caleb got drafted.
[10:49] Speaker 1: I'm a good friend of mine is Steve Kayin, And
[10:52] Speaker 1: I said, you know, what do you make? Could jump
[10:54] Speaker 1: it in the stands for Caleb Williams with his mom
[10:56] Speaker 1: and crying and the fingernail polish, And Steve's not a
[10:59] Speaker 1: real judgmental guy. And Steve was like, don't love it.
[11:03] Speaker 1: I'm not to see he goes. You know, if a
[11:04] Speaker 1: guy's talent, he's telling he goes. But he's a very
[11:07] Speaker 1: emotional player and he goes, you know. And Steve has
[11:12] Speaker 1: taught me this through the years. Like quarterbacks one of
[11:15] Speaker 1: those positions where you really need somebody that's even keel
[11:18] Speaker 1: and puts out fires. Football is an incredibly emotional game,
[11:22] Speaker 1: and as your teammates are getting emotional and the coaches
[11:25] Speaker 1: are getting emotional, you know, when you're on Tom Brady
[11:27] Speaker 1: love to celebrate, but in the moment of a game.
[11:30] Speaker 1: Tom was very even keel and Caleb's averia. You can
[11:34] Speaker 1: see his sideline demeanor. He plays with a ton of
[11:39] Speaker 1: emotion and he gets really amped up. He also lose
[11:44] Speaker 1: I think sometimes Caleb loses confidence when I watch him
[11:47] Speaker 1: like his his his accuracy is all over the map,
[11:52] Speaker 1: so that that feels like a confidence in mechanics issue.
[11:56] Speaker 1: And I don't know, I just look at it, and
[11:58] Speaker 1: I think this is a coach wants a certain quarterback stylistically,
[12:04] Speaker 1: probably much more like Sean Payton, where you can augment
[12:08] Speaker 1: the timing game with I mean bow Nicks and Sean
[12:12] Speaker 1: bow moves. They move the pocket a lot for bow Nicks,
[12:16] Speaker 1: as you should. But there's I sat there today and
[12:19] Speaker 1: my notes are all negative on Chicago.
[12:24] Speaker 2: There was a couple plays today in and I'll take
[12:27] Speaker 2: the l on Jalen Hurts. I never thought in a
[12:29] Speaker 2: million years he would be a functional NFL quarterback, let
[12:32] Speaker 2: alone a Super Bowl champion. And we can debate where
[12:35] Speaker 2: he ranks or whatever, But there were a couple of
[12:36] Speaker 2: plays today where Spags brings the entire house and he
[12:40] Speaker 2: sits in there to the last second and he throws
[12:42] Speaker 2: his one on one matchup and he's gonna get just mollywopped,
[12:46] Speaker 2: and one he hit the smith and I think he
[12:47] Speaker 2: missed another one. But it's just this guy just kind
[12:50] Speaker 2: of knows what he's doing, and he's an athletic ad
[12:52] Speaker 2: lib and theory, but he can play in big spots. Caleb.
[12:56] Speaker 2: When sometimes there's pressure and there's nothing you can do,
[12:59] Speaker 2: you gotta kind of scramble. There are times where it's
[13:01] Speaker 2: just like he's just taken off. For years, Mark Schlaroth
[13:04] Speaker 2: was one of the only guys saying everyone acts like
[13:06] Speaker 2: these offensive linemen and Seattle suck. Maybe some of it's
[13:09] Speaker 2: Russell Wilson, right, And remember he would just run into
[13:12] Speaker 2: sacks and you watch him today when that head goes
[13:14] Speaker 2: down and you just scramble into guys that is quarterback
[13:18] Speaker 2: one on one that the coaches hate, right head down
[13:21] Speaker 2: and his head goes down, and then he moves all
[13:24] Speaker 2: the time like Mahomes, whether he misses or makes the throw,
[13:28] Speaker 2: his head's always up moving around. Jalen Hurts, he even Kyler.
[13:32] Speaker 2: Kyler's head is up. Now he scrambles, probably sometimes at
[13:35] Speaker 2: the wrong time, but his head's up looking to throw.
[13:38] Speaker 2: Caleb just looks in the Crown, and then it becomes
[13:42] Speaker 2: I this, there's no way this is sustainable. Obviously you
[13:46] Speaker 2: start losing like this. But Ben Johnson's not going down
[13:49] Speaker 2: with the ship with this guy. Why because Sean Payton
[13:52] Speaker 2: will go down with bo Nicks, right, Andy Reid will
[13:55] Speaker 2: go down with Mahomes. I'm not comparing those two situations.
[13:57] Speaker 2: But my point is I'm all in on. You can't
[14:01] Speaker 2: convince me after a couple of weeks that Ben Johnson
[14:03] Speaker 2: is going to be all in with this guy for
[14:04] Speaker 2: seventeen games. It's not possible. And they're clearly the worst
[14:08] Speaker 2: team in there. I mean, the Packers looked like a juggernaut.
[14:10] Speaker 2: We saw the Lions. Turns out they're not as bad.

[14:15] Speaker 2: how Minnesota looks tonight. But clearly Minnesota's just they just

[15:25] Speaker 2: bench a guy, bring him back. What are the Bears
[15:27] Speaker 2: gonna do? Lose more games? I mean, what are we
[15:29] Speaker 2: talking about at this point? So yeah, I would say
