## Transcript

[0:00] As we step into 2026, I pray that it is a year that we truly
[0:04] stay devoted to ourselves, that we truly listen to our intuition
[0:07] and what we need, and we allow that source energy that exists
[0:12] within each and every one of us to guide us.
[0:20] Because this is a big fucking year.
[0:22] We're going to get into it, but we're going from the snake to
[0:26] the fire horse in the Chinese Zodiac.
[0:29] We're also going from a year 9 to a year 10 one in astrology.
[0:34] And we'll talk about that. And it is an opportunity to
[0:37] completely quantum leap and step into a new timeline of your
[0:42] life. And like whatever you keep
[0:45] choosing and you keep moving towards like it will choose you
[0:48] to what is up guys? It is Kayla, I'm the host of
[0:51] skinny dipping. If you're new on YouTube, hey,
[0:54] if you're new on Spotify or Apple podcast, hey, like we have
[0:56] 200,000 subscribers across platforms.
[0:59] Like seeing everybody's Spotify raps this year, like literally
[1:02] made my life. I'm like, wait, I'm actually
[1:03] talking to people out there. Like sometimes I just feel like
[1:06] I'm talking into the ether. But above all, like, I'm just so
[1:09] grateful you're here because this episode has the potential
[1:12] to guide you into a place of alignment and integrity as we
[1:17] step into a new year, which is inevitably like a new
[1:22] opportunity and a new timeline that we get to like step into.
[1:25] It's just, it's just an ability. And like, yes, it's every other
[1:28] day, but like, it's, it's not like it's not just like every
[1:32] other day. And I used to kind of like think
[1:33] that and be like, like, it's just like every other day the
[1:36] new year, Like what's the point? But it's like when you actually
[1:39] start living intentionally and you act intentionally in your
[1:43] life and you set an intention like whether it's out loud or
[1:46] just to yourself or in your journal, and then you act upon
[1:49] it and you create choices around that intention.
[1:52] Like you inevitably end up with the life that you truly fucking
[1:54] love. So this is an amazing
[1:56] opportunity for that. And we're going to get into a
[2:00] lot today. We're going to talk about the
[2:01] Chinese Zodiac and how it's going from the snake to the fire
[2:04] horse and kind of my research on that that I found.
[2:07] And then also we're going to talk about the numerology, the 9
[2:10] to the is it a year one or is it year 10?
[2:13] Like we're going to get into that.
[2:14] And then I'm going to talk about what actually fucking works for
[2:17] the new year versus what doesn't.
[2:19] Like the rhetoric that is in the self improvement community, self
[2:22] development community, spiritual community that doesn't actually
[2:26] work and is actually detrimental to your joy and your happiness
[2:31] and your prosperity and your abundance.
[2:33] And then what actually does work?
[2:35] Because this year, like, I feel like I've never truly, like,
[2:40] manifested just like the fuck out of my life like this.
[2:43] Like for years, I feel like I would watch people on YouTube
[2:46] and like, I would read books and I would listen to podcasts.
[2:49] But I feel like this was the year of embodiment for me where
[2:52] I was just like, wow. Like, I don't have to, like,
[2:54] read all the things. I just have to literally live
[2:57] and be and express and create and yeah manifested some crazy
[3:03] specific things this year and I want to give you guys the tools
[3:06] to do the same. So before we get into it, hit
[3:09] the little subscribe button comment below like your
[3:12] intentions for the new year. I really want to hear because
[3:15] when we are intentional with our life, like our life changes like
[3:19] when you look at something with intentionality, OK.
[3:21] For example, they talk about this in quantum physics and I've
[3:24] been learning about this when I was at the House of Muse retreat
[3:26] in Bali. But basically like it's actually
[3:29] so cool. Shadow Columbia for sharing this
[3:31] with me. Her podcast is cup of tea.
[3:33] Like she's a podcast Cam student of mine.
[3:35] Just like going to give her a little shout out there because
[3:37] she taught me this. But they had a study that was
[3:40] done that they now call this theory the observer effect.
[3:45] And basically the observer effect in short, was they were
[3:47] looking at all these like particles and when they weren't
[3:51] looking at them, they were just kind of scattered and
[3:53] disorganized. And then when somebody would put
[3:56] attention and intention and look at them, they would go more
[4:01] orderly. And it's like, that's the same
[4:03] as life or I don't know if you've ever tried to like look
[4:05] at an incense and the smoke that burns and like when you're not
[4:09] looking at it, it's like blowing all over the place.
[4:12] But then if you look at it and you focus and you bring your
[4:15] intention and awareness to it, it literally straightens.
[4:18] I know if you guys have seen that on TikTok or if you tried
[4:20] it yourself, but I've tried it myself and it actually fucking
[4:23] works. So prove to your brain, Create
[4:26] the data, create the evidence, create the proof that it is
[4:30] possible for you to create the life that you desire solely by
[4:35] intention and action, by bringing attention and awareness
[4:39] to what it is you want. Because when you decide, when
[4:43] you choose, it chooses you. When you decide this is what I
[4:47] want, literally things begin to conspire in your favor to bring
[4:51] you to a place where you can actually have that.
[4:54] And sometimes you're like, how the fuck is that going to
[4:56] happen? How I'm, how am I going to go
[4:58] from point A to point B? And as long as you keep taking
[5:02] the next logical step, like I promise you, if you keep putting
[5:06] attention and intention and action and belief into what it
[5:10] is that you want, like all of a sudden, you're going to look and
[5:13] you're going to be like, oh, my God, I did it.
[5:15] Like, like I did it. That's actually fucking crazy.
[5:18] So comment your intention below for the new year, and let's
[5:21] strip down and dive in. Subscribe, follow.
[5:23] I'm Kayla Rose. This is skinny dipping.
[5:26] And. Yeah, What is the hype around
[5:29] the new year? We're going to step into 2026 in
[5:32] the best way possible together. Let's talk about the infamous
[5:37] Chinese Zodiac, OK, And what is happening?
[5:39] Because I feel like there's so much rhetoric online and I was
[5:42] like, just really trying to find information that wasn't like
[5:47] super like basic or like gentrified.
[5:50] And also just like pulling from my intuition of what these
[5:52] things mean for me. Because I truly believe, like, I
[5:55] don't know, we have so much innate wisdom within us from
[5:57] like, past lifetimes. And yeah, so we're going from
[6:01] this year of the snake, right? Right.
[6:04] We are going from this year of the snake, which inevitably the
[6:07] first thing that pops into your head when you think of a snake
[6:09] is it's like shedding its skin, right?
[6:10] That is like so basic. But we love it because that is
[6:13] just like such a clear picture of what I feel like happened
[6:16] this year. I feel like any belief systems
[6:19] that truly weren't supporting my highest self, we're like, we're
[6:23] taking it out. This isn't serving you anymore.
[6:25] This is making you fucking miserable.
[6:26] Why are you, why are you participating so deeply in your
[6:29] own suffering, babe? Like, and just smacking me in
[6:33] the face with this and wrapping up old cycles.
[6:36] And for me, like this could be a physical cycle for you.
[6:39] Like it could be a relationship or a career or school transition
[6:44] or a moving transition or a life transition that just kind of
[6:47] like wrapped up a chapter in your life.
[6:48] But for me, I feel like it was very mental.
[6:50] The old cycles that I was just like shedding and renewing
[6:55] within myself were the ways that I perceived myself and perceived
[6:59] my life and perceived myself concept and self identity.
[7:02] And that is what really shifted for me.
[7:05] But for you, it might be a more physical thing.
[7:08] It also has to do with looking on the horizon and being like,
[7:11] OK, so much more is to come right conclusions shedding.
[7:15] That is the snake. That is the year we just went
[7:17] through. And I think the uprooting of so
[7:19] many systems. I think within our society, you
[7:21] can just see that like we're really fucking fed up with like
[7:25] billionaires like ruining the world and like mistreating
[7:28] people. And that's just like such the
[7:31] smallest way of saying like how currently fucked up shit is
[7:35] right now and how it was brought to the surface and shown to us
[7:39] in our face so that we can all be like, actually, this is like
[7:42] fucked up and this isn't OK. And we need to like tear this
[7:44] down and rebuild the system because like the way that you
[7:47] guys are making it for us is not is not working for us anymore.
[7:51] And I think that's what happens in the snake.
[7:52] It really like shows this, like intense truth that needs to be
[7:56] seen so that we can like, move forward.
[8:00] And then we're stepping into the year of the horse.
[8:02] But it's not just the year of the horse, it's the year of the
[8:05] fire horse. OK.
[8:07] This is incredibly important. And I was seeing that like, you
[8:09] know, in Western culture, of course, like we see the horse as
[8:13] the symbol of like freedom and expression and action, which I
[8:17] feel like it is that. But the fire horse in particular
[8:20] within the Chinese Zodiac is about collective change and
[8:24] collective transition. How can you show up in the world
[8:27] not only in a way that supports your highest self and your
[8:32] highest desires, but also in a way that supports your
[8:34] community, that supports the collective, that supports the
[8:38] way that you're supposed to show up in the bigger picture of the
[8:41] world. Knowing that we are literally
[8:44] like a little, a little bubble in like the sea of waves.
[8:48] And actually like right now, I'm like looking off at the ocean
[8:51] and thinking how that really describes us as humans and
[8:55] humanity and, and collective consciousness and what we're
[8:58] moving towards as a collective. And I really think this is going
[9:02] to be a year of collective change, which is what I would
[9:05] really love, love, love to see. And I'm going to show you now
[9:07] like Mexico real quick because I need you to see this ocean and
[9:11] this view to let you like just in on my life a little bit.
[9:13] But I was invited to come guest teach at Luana retreats.
[9:18] And it's been literally the best week ever of like surfing, like
[9:22] the cutest longboard fun waves ever, like and doing yoga and
[9:26] teaching breath work and teaching EMT tapping and like
[9:29] just feeling so grateful for everything right now.
[9:31] And also feeling so faced with like so many shadows because
[9:34] when things slow down in life, I feel like the shadows like speak
[9:37] louder because they like finally have time to get your attention.
[9:40] So I've been definitely like wrestling with like my own
[9:42] codependency and just like finally shedding these last
[9:45] layers. Like I'm tired of being so
[9:47] anxiously attached. I'm tired of being so
[9:48] codependent. I'm tired of needing fucking
[9:51] approval from others, like or for somebody else to make my
[9:56] life better. Like I'm just like so ready to
[9:57] like really take full accountability for my life.
[10:00] And that's what I feel like I've really learned here because if
[10:03] I'm being affected by everything around me and everyone around
[10:06] me, like that's me not being in my power.
[10:09] So that's a little Mexico tea. And just like sharing my heart
[10:13] with you guys, I'm going to show you the view one second.
[10:16] How pretty is that? So as we step into this year of
[10:22] the fire horse, it's like taking off, right?
[10:25] I think of it as revolution. That was like a word that like
[10:27] channeled right through me before I even like fully did any
[10:30] research. When I think of the fire horse,
[10:32] I think of revolution. I think of burning it all to the
[10:35] ground and starting again. I think of confidence.
[10:37] I think of opportunity. I think of action.
[10:40] I think of running after it and going for it and creating it is
[10:45] creative. It is expressive with the fire,
[10:47] right? Fire is really just creation,
[10:52] the source of everything. It's just creation in itself.
[10:55] So definitely just so excited to pour into my creations and my
[11:00] forms of expression and my art. And I really encourage you to
[11:03] make this year about that for you because the more that you
[11:05] let your art guide you, right? The more that you live for your
[11:10] inner artist and you align to that vibration of just the
[11:15] artist frequency that says, like, I see the world in this
[11:18] beautiful way where I observe and I reflect and I create.
[11:23] Like when I live from that frequency, everything is so much
[11:26] more fun. So I really encourage you to
[11:29] like focus on doing the same and I also encourage you to journal
[11:33] about like what it is that you want to create, but like stop
[11:35] thinking so much about it, stop journaling so much about it and
[11:38] just fucking do it. Just fucking take action.
[11:40] That's what this fire horse is asking of you.
[11:43] And now let's get into the numerology.
[11:45] So we're going from a year 9. Same thing as a snake.
[11:48] It's the wrapping up, it's the old cycles, it's a shedding of
[11:50] skin. It's perfectly aligned because
[11:52] this is divine history, you know, the Chinese Zodiac, the
[11:57] numerology, like these are ancient practices and they all
[12:01] align because they all are true in my opinion, in my opinion, of
[12:05] course, like truth is sometimes what we believe, but for me, I
[12:09] just see this and in my heart and in my integrity and like my
[12:13] body's compass is like this is this is legit.
[12:15] This is true. So numerology you're 9 of
[12:18] course, conclusions and also 9 when we look at the astrology,
[12:24] the house 9 rules like higher education and travel and truth
[12:31] because it's ruled by Sagittarius, I'm pretty sure.
[12:34] And so that's like the arrow shooting into the distance and
[12:38] aligning to the truth. And I feel like that's what
[12:42] we've been really seeing if if things haven't been working out
[12:45] and and things just keep coming up, that is the same pattern,
[12:47] the same lesson over and over again, like the universe is
[12:50] trying to smack you in the face with the truth.
[12:52] Stop fucking ignoring it. Stop fucking ignoring it.
[12:55] I'm literally begging you because if you can actually just
[12:59] face what you're afraid to face and actually just like look at
[13:02] it for what it is and and see the truth and be willing to let
[13:05] it go. Like it is going to get so much
[13:07] better for you honestly. But if you keep holding on, like
[13:11] let go or be dragged, has anybody heard that quote?
[13:14] And the only way out is through. And that's why it's all coming
[13:17] to the surface. And we're stepping into, some
[13:19] people are saying a year one, but it's technically a year 10,
[13:23] which is also a year 1. So a year 10 can be a year one,
[13:27] but a year 1 cannot be a year 10.
[13:29] So it's kind of like a year one like on steroids.
[13:32] Like it's kind of like just like extra powerful, extra crazy in
[13:38] terms of one, of course, that's like newness and new beginnings.
[13:41] But this isn't just new beginnings in a way that's like
[13:45] explorative and curious and like a new baby being born into the
[13:48] world. Like no, no, no, no, no, no.
[13:50] This is number 10 baby. This is creation.
[13:53] This is activation. This is action.
[13:57] This is opportunity. This is confidence.
[13:59] This is revolution again, this is embodiment, this is taking
[14:03] off. And that's what I want you to
[14:04] really tune into, this energy within you that says how can I
[14:09] embody this number 10 energy? How can I truly stop waiting for
[14:14] life to happen to me, for opportunities to come?
[14:17] And how can I just create what I want to create, create what I
[14:21] want to create without somebody acknowledging me, without
[14:24] somebody paying me yet and knowing that will eventually
[14:26] lead to opportunities that will be financially beneficial, that
[14:30] will lead to visibility and eyes being on me.
[14:32] But you have to create it first. Don't wait to create, like
[14:36] create it first and then the opportunities will come to you.
[14:38] And that's what this number 10 is literally screaming at us.
[14:42] So let's get into what actually works versus what doesn't work.
[14:45] OK for the new year Because I feel like I've lived a lot of
[14:48] New Year's, right? I'm 26.
[14:51] That's so funny to say, but I think about it every year.
[14:54] I'm like, is New Year special? What works?
[14:57] What doesn't work? Do I set intentions?
[14:59] Do I make a vision board? You know all those things.
[15:02] I'm gonna tell you what doesn't work.
[15:03] New year, new me thinking you need to be somebody else.
[15:07] You don't need to be anybody else, I promise.
[15:09] You don't need to be anybody else.
[15:11] What you need is to remember who you actually always fucking were
[15:15] when you take off the layers of everything that you are not all
[15:18] the the voices of other people that became eventually your
[15:21] inner critic in your mind and you shed those layers and you're
[15:25] like, that's actually not me. You actually remember who you
[15:27] are. You remember how much you are
[15:28] proud of yourself, how much you trust yourself, how much you
[15:31] love yourself, how capable you are.
[15:33] And that's why the new year new me doesn't work because it's
[15:35] actually a self remembering, like coming back home to self.
[15:41] And that is the intention for the new year that I want you to
[15:44] embrace. Also.
[15:45] What doesn't work, number two? OK, so number one was New year
[15:48] new me. Cross that shit out.
[15:50] We don't like that. It's actually a coming home to
[15:53] self, a self remembering #2 an all or nothing mindset.
[15:57] Oh my God, it's the beginning of the year.
[15:59] I need to go sober or like, I need to like not take another
[16:02] like, puff puff. I need to not like, take another
[16:04] sip of wine. Like Oh my God, I need to like
[16:07] start grinding. I need to start grinding on my
[16:09] projects. I need to leap forward.
[16:11] I need to do my meditation every day.
[16:13] I need to do my breath work and my journaling and my
[16:15] manifestations every day. Oh my, do you hear how fucking
[16:20] exhausting that rhetoric sounds and how that's just going to
[16:23] burn you out and leave you with no motivation to actually do
[16:26] what you want to fucking do? I promise you that an all or
[16:30] nothing mindset is not serving you like thinking you need to go
[16:33] for it all. Especially like for the people
[16:34] in the northern hemisphere, it's your winter season and listen to
[16:38] the seasons. Like sometimes you need to rest
[16:40] and recharge and allow your body to truly like gain its energy
[16:44] back before you can move forward.
[16:45] But everybody is different. Like of course, if like going
[16:48] for it really like invigorates you, but be honest with
[16:51] yourself. Is it going to burn you out?
[16:53] Because we want it to be consistent and long lasting.
[16:55] And that's about kind of like biting off what you can chew in
[16:58] that day and living intentionally and showing up
[17:02] every day in the way that you need that day and be like, oh,
[17:05] what do I need this day? Maybe today I'm going to tell
[17:07] you or what do I need today? Maybe today I go to the gym.
[17:10] Like listening to what you need that day versus this all or
[17:13] nothing mindset because it just doesn't work and it burns you
[17:16] out and it makes you eventually lack motivation because you gave
[17:20] it all you got. And then yeah, it's just not a
[17:22] good cycle. And I've been in it before and I
[17:24] promise you, like, get rid of it.
[17:25] And instead of an all or nothing mindset, embrace a balanced
[17:28] mindset that says, I'm going to listen to my needs today.
[17:33] And also I'm going to have the things that I want to do and I'm
[17:37] going to be devoted to those things.
[17:38] And I'm going to show up maybe like two or three times a week.
[17:42] And you know what? If I fall off, it's not the end
[17:43] of the world. Like I'm just going to get back
[17:45] on. And it's going to be an
[17:47] opportunity to do things in a new way again.
[17:49] And, and having a moment of recommitment, that is what I
[17:53] want to see for yourself. So you're not so fucking hard on
[17:55] yourself if you fall off because like, yeah, it's crazy.
[17:58] And also life and balance. Like, I'm definitely like went
[18:01] sober at the beginning of this year and absolutely loved it
[18:03] because I feel like I needed to redefine my relationship with
[18:05] alcohol. And I woke up honestly hungover
[18:07] as fuck on the new year and I did not feel good.
[18:10] And I was like, this does not feel good.
[18:12] Like I don't want this. And then I went sober for three
[18:14] months before my birthday, and I was like, wow, this feels so
[18:17] good. Good.
[18:17] And now I reintegrated drinking, like, red wine.
[18:20] And that has felt really good for me.
[18:22] And sometimes like, a little like, mezcal cocktail.
[18:25] But I really feel like I found the balance.
[18:26] And I know that, like, I will not be like, partying on the new
[18:29] year. Like, I mean, maybe I'll pop
[18:31] some champagne, but I'm really trying to, like, live this life
[18:33] of balance rather than this, like, all or nothing mindset.
[18:36] But sometimes you have to, like, remove yourself and then come
[18:38] back to create that balance. So yeah, if you feel the calls,
[18:41] like, go sober. Like it was really fun in the
[18:43] beginning of this year for me and changed a lot with my
[18:46] relationship with alcohol and I was grateful that I could come
[18:48] back and be like, I love red wine.
[18:50] I love drinking with the girls. Like I love a little giggle
[18:53] sesh. Like I'm not gonna judge myself.
[18:55] I'm not gonna make myself feel bad for it.
[18:56] Like I'm just gonna create a balanced and healthy
[18:59] relationship with it. And in this, the biggest thing
[19:01] that doesn't fucking work is setting yourself up to fail.
[19:04] Like don't like list all these like crazy unrealistic things
[19:07] for yourself. Like literally be like what
[19:09] feels good to me, what is possible for me?
[19:12] Like, of course, like do a little bit of a reach, but you
[19:15] want to stretch, but you don't like snap because you don't want
[19:17] to like break the trust in yourself because like you
[19:20] weren't able to meet the unrealistic goal that you set
[19:23] for yourself. Like, come on, like let's just
[19:26] like I think smarter, not harder.
[19:28] Like the more that we like set up little achievable tasks, it
[19:32] tells our brain the dopamine inside our brain like, oh, I can
[19:35] do this. I'm going to keep going.
[19:36] Like this feels really good. But if you do something so big
[19:40] and and then you don't achieve it, you're going to like feel
[19:42] bad about yourself. And that's going to impact
[19:44] yourself concept in the way that you feel about yourself.
[19:45] And we want to feel like I am capable.
[19:47] I am confident, I trust myself, I love myself.
[19:50] I show up for my word. Like those are the beliefs we
[19:52] want to instill within ourselves.
[19:53] So stop biting off more than you can chew and setting yourself up
[19:56] to fail. And instead, like do what is
[19:58] possible for you and what makes you feel confident and joyful.
[20:00] And like of course, like accomplish things and move
[20:02] towards things, but in a way that is like healthy, like in a
[20:07] way that is like setting yourself up for success.
[20:10] And finally, the number one thing that doesn't work is
[20:12] hating yourself into change. You really can only love
[20:15] yourself through the transformation.
[20:17] Now let's talk about what does work number one, actually taking
[20:21] some fucking time off. And if you can't take like time
[20:24] off work, I totally understand like people need to work like
[20:26] it's busy. Like I'm personally taking time
[20:28] off work because I'm an entrepreneur and like my
[20:30] assistant, I'm having her take off because I just believe
[20:32] people need time off to be re inspired.
[20:35] But I understand that's not the reality for everyone.
[20:37] So I'm not going to sit here and be like take time off work
[20:39] because that's just not realistic for everybody.
[20:41] So in that maybe if you have to still work and you still have a
[20:45] busy schedule, maybe just taking time off of like being so hard
[20:48] on yourself, like taking time off of being like, oh, like I
[20:52] have to do this. I have to go to the gym for an
[20:55] hour today. Like maybe just do like a 20
[20:57] minute Pilates that makes your body feel good and move.
[20:59] But like do it because you want to do it, not because you have
[21:02] to, like just do things in your free time because you genuinely
[21:06] want to and do what lights you up.
[21:07] And that in itself will feel like a rejuvenating break in
[21:11] itself versus every time you have free time.
[21:14] Do you have this little voice in your head that says, like, what
[21:17] do I need to get done? What do I need to do?
[21:19] What could I be doing right now? Like just let that voice go and
[21:22] say like, I'm going to give you a couple weeks off, babe.
[21:24] Like go have a vacation. Like go to Mexico, enjoy.
[21:27] Like go surf the waves and like some like transcendental, like
[21:32] timeline. But let's take time off of being
[21:36] so hard on ourselves and all these shoulds.
[21:38] Like even if you have to go to work, you can still just be
[21:40] like, I'm taking time off of like all the things that I force
[21:44] myself to do because I think I need to.
[21:46] And if you can actually take time off, I would highly, highly
[21:49] encourage that because the girlies need a break mostly to
[21:52] get re inspired so that we can spark our juices for the
[21:55] creative acts of love that we are going to move towards this
[22:00] year in 2026. So #1 taking time off, whether
[22:03] that's like physically or mentally #2 make planning fun.
[22:08] Yes, I wrote Dreaming is a beautiful source of internal
[22:12] motivation, holding the vision, then breaking it down to the
[22:17] smallest steps to get there. I love that because it's like I
[22:21] love, I literally, literally love like creative journaling.
[22:25] Like maybe you hate your journal because you think when you
[22:28] journal you have to like go into this like deep self reflection
[22:31] and self shadow work. But what if like instead you
[22:33] made journaling fun and you were like, I'm gonna write about my
[22:36] dreams and I'm gonna make a game plan and I'm gonna make this
[22:39] business idea and I'm gonna explore what my intentions are
[22:42] and how I wanna feel and like thinking about what you're
[22:44] moving towards, I promise you, like, it can be so fun and it's
[22:47] going to make you actually want to show up to the page and the
[22:49] pen and do it. And then also it's like internal
[22:52] motivation and internal dopamine.
[22:53] Like you are fueled to move towards something, to create
[22:57] something, to achieve something to be something to embody
[23:01] something because of your inner wishes, because of your inner
[23:04] desires, because of your dreams, because of your goals.
[23:07] And that's this internal motivation.
[23:09] And so much of what we do is externally motivated.
[23:13] So this is an opportunity to be internally motivated by your
[23:16] dreams and by your desires. It is literally the greatest gas
[23:19] to your Mercedes-Benz. Roam, roam.
[23:21] Like it just when you have the vision of your dreams, you're
[23:25] like, oh, you're like, I need to just keep going and keep
[23:29] stepping because like, this is my dream.
[23:32] This is my desire and it's internal motivation.
[23:34] So what I want you to ask yourself in your journal if you
[23:37] need like a little bit of guidance, of course, just like
[23:39] go for it intuitively. Like I like to like do mind
[23:42] maps. I like to like do bullet points.
[23:43] I like to mix it up. But if you need some guidance,
[23:46] here are some journal questions. Number one, what would be so fun
[23:51] to create? What would be so fun to create
[23:55] right about it? And #2 how do you actually get
[23:58] there? How do you break it down into
[23:59] the smallest steps, the step by step?
[24:01] And how do you actually get there?
[24:02] What would that actually look like?
[24:03] And focus only on quarter one. So like the next like 3 months
[24:07] because that actually is like a good amount of time for you to
[24:10] actually create something, whether you're starting
[24:12] something or continuing something and like stepping up
[24:15] to the next level or amping it up like that.
[24:18] Three months, like quarter 1 is like the perfect period.
[24:22] And then you can kind of quarter one prep and you can even kind
[24:24] of be OK. And then what am I, like,
[24:25] looking forward to in spring? Because like, spring is this
[24:28] time of aliveness and rebirth and stepping into just like,
[24:33] yeah, sharing your creation. So what are you creating?
[24:36] And then like, how are you sharing it in the spring?
[24:38] And then finally, I want you to talk about, yeah, just like all
[24:42] the little steps to get there. And if you don't know what to
[24:45] write, like just ask yourself, like, if I could guess, if I
[24:49] could just guess and imagine what the step would be, like,
[24:52] what would it be? And just go for that.
[24:54] Write that down. Like, don't overthink it.
[24:56] Like you actually do have the game plan within you #3 what
[24:59] actually works is like vision boarding actually totally works.
[25:04] I literally had Bali on my vision board and then I was
[25:06] invited and flown out to host a retreat with my friend, which is
[25:10] absolutely incredible. Also, this retreat in Mexico, I
[25:13] had like the perfect tiny small wave that I didn't even know
[25:16] where it was on my vision board. And the wave here is like, looks
[25:20] exactly like that. And I literally was flown out to
[25:23] teach here and it's like been the most incredible week ever.
[25:26] And it was literally on my vision board and it just came so
[25:29] last minute. Like at the end of the year.
[25:30] It's just actually crazy. Also, I had pole on my vision
[25:34] board, which was so cool because the retreat that I went to in
[25:36] Bali, which I totally manifested and created for myself, like
[25:40] which was so incredible, was literally a pole retreat.
[25:43] And I got to, yeah, dance and improve and just, yeah, do my
[25:47] more of my art. And another thing, just like a
[25:50] little final thing that I had on my vision board.
[25:52] I'll try to like find a picture of it.
[25:54] But basically it is like me in a studio.
[25:58] Like it was like, it wasn't me in a studio.
[26:00] It was like a girl in a studio on Pinterest.
[26:01] And it was on my vision board. And then this year, like an
[26:06] incredible artist named Hey Lucas literally took my TikTok
[26:08] and made a song. And I know I want music to be a
[26:11] part of my life. I know that's something I want
[26:12] to share with you guys. And yeah, I'm so incredibly
[26:15] excited for that. But literally the universe or
[26:17] God and source literally was like, we're making you a star
[26:20] now. And now that song has like over
[26:22] 3,000,000 streams. So just actually crazy.
[26:25] And shout out to that song. I love that song.
[26:27] Life is beautiful. I'll put it right here.
[26:31] I feel like some of my vision boards in the past didn't work,
[26:34] but I feel like I was so intentional with this one.
[26:36] And I just kept asking myself like, OK, what do I actually
[26:39] want my life to look like? Like I want pole to be in my
[26:41] life. I want music to be in my life.
[26:42] I want surf to be in my life. I want friendship to be in my
[26:45] life. I want to host retreats.
[26:46] And I like just found specific images for those things.
[26:49] Actually just have like a bulletin board.
[26:51] And then I put like, yeah, little pins in it so I can,
[26:54] like, move things around if I ever want.
[26:56] And yeah, I had that in my house the whole year.
[26:59] And so many things really did manifest by just having that in
[27:01] my subconscious every single day and putting it somewhere that I
[27:04] could see it. But you have to understand that,
[27:06] like, in the past, I understand, like, my vision boards haven't
[27:08] come true either. So don't like, get down on
[27:10] yourself because you have to trust in the divine timing.
[27:13] Like you have to trust like it's this or better, like it's coming
[27:16] through in the perfect way. And it might not be in the exact
[27:18] package that I anticipated it in, but it is coming.
[27:22] And yeah, stop like waiting for it.
[27:24] And just like, create it and like let it go and like, let it
[27:26] surprise you. And finally #4 what actually
[27:29] fucking works when creating what you want to create for the new
[27:31] year and setting intentions. Like of course, like set your
[27:34] intentions, but like maybe let's get prepped for our intentions.
[27:36] Let's create a self concept that says I am capable of creating
[27:40] the life of my dreams. I am capable of the life of my
[27:42] desires. Like just in general, Like let's
[27:45] solidify this belief that I am capable.
[27:46] I'm confident I fucking got this right.
[27:48] So let's make a list, a make yourself proud list, OK?
[27:53] And you're going to write. I'm so proud of myself for this,
[27:56] this year. I'm so proud of myself for, you
[28:00] know, for me, I'm so proud of myself at these retreats that
[28:02] I've done. Like I've really let go of being
[28:06] hard on myself. And I'm so proud of myself
[28:09] because I was so critical of myself for so long.
[28:11] Or I'm so proud of myself for posting my dancing more on my
[28:14] stories or posting my pole dancing and eventually posting
[28:18] my singing, which I like did a couple times this year.
[28:21] Like write what you are so proud of.
[28:23] Like I'm so proud of myself for just like getting through some
[28:26] of these hard days that I had and like being gentle with
[28:28] myself and being compassionate with myself.
[28:30] Like write a list. And I want you to be like, I
[28:33] need to take 2030 things like I need you to sit and I want you
[28:36] to just like brain dump and mind dump and write a list that shows
[28:40] you like, I am so proud of myself.
[28:42] Because in this, when you are proud of yourself, it's going to
[28:45] create alignment to this like self concept, which is like the
[28:49] way that you think about yourself, right?
[28:51] The self concept work of oh, I am the type of person that XYZ,
[28:55] right? That's really what a self
[28:56] concept worked is. It's believing you are the type
[28:58] of person that is blank insert. So I'm the type of person that
[29:03] goes after my dreams and I'm going to write things on my list
[29:05] that shows that I'm the type of person that is gentle and
[29:08] compassionate with myself. I'm going to write things on my
[29:10] list that exemplifies that I'm the type of person to actually
[29:13] take action instead of just saying I'm doing things.
[29:16] I'm the type of person to be kind and forgiving to others.
[29:19] Like write things on your proud of yourself list that really
[29:23] creates this self belief in confidence and capability within
[29:27] yourself. That's what actually works.
[29:29] And then writing your intentions from that state of being, from
[29:32] that state of embodiment. So again, number one, take some
[29:36] time off mentally or physically #2 make planning fun.
[29:40] OK #3 vision boarding works. Make time for it.
[29:43] I promise it's worth it. And #4 make a list of what you
[29:48] are proud of, of yourself. Yeah, that's it.
[29:49] And then, yeah. Because that's going to improve
[29:51] yourself concept. I love it.
[29:53] OK, I got to go. I didn't mean this episode to be
[29:56] this long, but I feel like this was such juicy information,
[29:58] like, calm below. Any thoughts, any ideas, any
[30:01] rituals or intentions you're doing for the new year?
[30:03] I love doing, like, little rituals too, because, like,
[30:06] going into the water and cleansing myself and just like,
[30:08] saying some intentions to my heart for the new year.
[30:10] And, yeah, find time to, like, go on a walk, going to nature
[30:14] or, you know, have a beautiful, like, cozy bath or something
[30:17] like that and have a little ritual because that feels so
[30:20] good, too. And allow your intention to
[30:22] guide you with that because, like, you know what to do.
[30:24] You are your own healer. I'm Kayla Rose.
[30:27] This is Skinny to bang. I love you guys.
[30:29] Oh, my God. I can't believe we did it this
[30:31] year. I'm so proud of us.
[30:33] Comment where you're listening from.
[30:34] Comment your intentions. OK, I'm going to go.
[30:40] I think that's it. That's all I have to say.
[30:41] Bye.
