[0:00] When I realized this, my life completely fucking changed.
[0:03] I had this download a couple weeks ago and I was like, this
[0:06] is the secret. So let me tell you the secret.
[0:09] Disruptive moves shift timelines like that.
[0:18] What is up guys? Welcome back to my garden.
[0:21] I'm Kayla Rose. This is Skinny Dipping the
[0:23] podcast, and today we are talking about how to shake
[0:27] things the fuck up in your life, right?
[0:30] How do we find the boldness and the clarity that we need to
[0:33] truly choose disruptive moves? Because you know if you know
[0:38] anything about quantum physics or just the quantum realm, you
[0:42] may know that there are an infinite amount of timelines,
[0:47] right? And because of our actions, our
[0:50] free will, everything that we do impacts the current timeline
[0:54] that we are experiencing individually and collectively.
[0:57] And that's why disruptive moves shift timelines.
[1:01] And hopefully by this episode, you even choosing to watch this
[1:04] is you shifting your own timeline, shifting your own
[1:07] future by deciding to take your time to consume something that
[1:11] is pouring into yourself. Make sure to maybe bring out
[1:14] your journal or just like take notes in your notes out because
[1:17] whatever comes through for you in this episode is exactly what
[1:20] you needed to realize and needed to hear.
[1:22] And I'm not always a person that's going to tell you it.
[1:25] Sometimes I will tell you something that sparks an
[1:27] intuitive deep knowing within you, and then you teach yourself
[1:32] what you need to know. You have the realization, you
[1:35] have the download. But sometimes, you know,
[1:37] listening to other people can spark that idea.
[1:39] It can connect the neural pathways.
[1:41] It can connect the neurons in the brain.
[1:43] And it's like, ah, I didn't realize that.
[1:46] And now I feel ready to be bold. If you're new here, comment
[1:50] below where you're listening from or if you're a returning
[1:52] listener, tell me where you're listening from.
[1:54] It doesn't matter where. It just really does make my life
[1:57] to see like the map and be like, wow, there's so many people all
[2:00] over the world, part of the skinny dipping community, and I
[2:03] just can't wait to see what is next.
[2:05] Obviously like like subscribe, follow, but let's strip down and
[2:08] dive in. Strip down and dive in
[2:12] metaphorically to the mind, the body, and the soul.
[2:14] And we're going to get into it because disruptive moves shift
[2:18] timelines. You're going to hear me say it.
[2:19] You're going to be like, why do you keep saying it?
[2:21] But it's like, you need to hear this.
[2:23] Tell me, where in your life are you so deeply stuck in the
[2:28] motions? Where in your life do you move
[2:32] through the day with your brain just off and not in a way that's
[2:36] like, oh, my brain's off and I'm feeling free.
[2:38] But no, your brain is off because you're not making
[2:41] choices and decisions. You're not having novelty and
[2:44] newness in your life. And I think as humans, we truly
[2:47] crave that. And we also tend to get stuck in
[2:51] patterns of comfort, right? Because from an evolutionary
[2:54] point of view, if we're going to the science part of it, when we
[2:57] feel the familiar, we feel comfort.
[3:00] That makes us feel safe. And the main purpose of our
[3:03] brain and our body is to keep us safe, right?
[3:05] To keep us alive, to keep us surviving so we can pass our
[3:07] genes on to the next generation. So it makes sense.
[3:10] It makes sense that you get caught up in your routine, you
[3:13] get caught up in your current relationships, your current job,
[3:15] your current lifestyle, and you stop making conscious choice.
[3:20] That's what we're missing here. Conscious choice, conscious
[3:24] decision making. Notice where in your life are
[3:27] you deeply in the motions, whether that's within a
[3:29] relationship or a friendship or a friend group or a career or
[3:33] just the way that you act on the daily.
[3:37] Are you just going through the motions?
[3:39] Now ask yourself, where in your life have you outgrown?
[3:43] Notice the part of your brain that starts to be like, well, I
[3:46] want to justify how I'm staying in my comfort zone because of
[3:50] XYZ and the brain will try to justify.
[3:53] And that's where the inner trust comes in and the trust to
[3:57] yourself, the trust with your guide, the trust with the
[4:00] universe, God, creator, the divine, your whole fucking
[4:04] spirit team. That's when the trust comes in
[4:07] because they are asking you now to take a leap of faith like you
[4:11] have never taken a leap of faith before.
[4:14] And that is really fucking scary and so fucking needed because
[4:18] where in your life are you going through the motions and where
[4:21] have you outgrown and use that whatever came up as information,
[4:25] right? We're not judging it.
[4:26] We're not making it mean like you have to destroy your whole
[4:29] life and blow everything up because that's going to create
[4:32] resistance in the brain. Instead, I want you to just
[4:35] notice without judgment and remind yourself that disruptive
[4:40] moves shift timelines. The reason that this topic came
[4:43] to mind is because I have been with my current management that
[4:47] I love for a couple years. And, you know, I was just
[4:51] noticing ways that, you know, my career could be stepping up and
[4:56] wondering if I've outgrown this certain space.
[4:58] And, you know, I talked to a friend who signed with the same
[5:01] management. And we're both like, I do feel
[5:02] like it's time to move forward. And, you know, instead of
[5:05] sitting on it for a month, sitting on it for two months,
[5:07] sitting on it for three months and just waiting to see, like,
[5:11] will it change? Will they change?
[5:13] Will things get better? Instead, I decided in my heart,
[5:16] I'm like, I'm going to get on a call with my manager, disruptive
[5:19] move and I'm going to fill her in like what isn't working?
[5:23] So I got on a call right after the call, I could have felt
[5:26] better. I could have felt worse.
[5:27] I definitely felt like I still wanted to leave.
[5:29] And again, I could have continued to be like, you know,
[5:32] I'll think about it, I'll think about it.
[5:34] But the truth is that doesn't shift timelines.
[5:36] Disruptive moves do, bold moves do fucking doing something that
[5:40] is just out of the ordinary. So I said after that call to
[5:42] myself, I wrote in my journal, I said I'm ready to switch
[5:45] managements, right? I'm ready to call in a new
[5:47] manager within 24 hours. OK of me writing that down,
[5:51] getting on a call with my ex management.
[5:53] I got 2 inboxes emails of new managers wanting to decide me.
[5:57] And I'm like, OK, universe, once you make the decision, once you
[6:01] make the clear conscious choice, the universe does come in.
[6:05] Your spirit guides do come in and they do create the path for
[6:07] you. They just want you to fucking
[6:09] decide. So I made the decision.
[6:10] I got on the 2 calls and within two weeks, I already had found a
[6:13] new management that I'm absolutely obsessed with.
[6:15] It feels aligned. It feels like the level up.
[6:18] And genuinely this made me realize I could have sat there
[6:21] and waited and you know, waited till I was back from a trip and
[6:25] I could have not made the decision within me, but I did.
[6:28] And in turn, things happened quickly.
[6:31] And in turn, because of that, more opportunities popped up for
[6:34] a paid gig, a new brand wanting to work with me, this manager
[6:38] just being my dream manager that I'm so excited to work with.
[6:41] When you make the move, when you take the step, the path is
[6:44] created, right? You're like, I can't see the
[6:46] path. I don't know what step to take.
[6:48] I don't know which direction to go.
[6:51] Don't worry about it. Just take a fucking step, make a
[6:54] disruptive move and notice like how things start to fall into
[6:58] place, how the path begins to appear.
[7:00] That's the Rumi quote, right? I'm not sure exactly what the
[7:02] Rumi quote is, but I do know that it's like, if you don't
[7:05] know where to go, take the next step and the path will appear.
[7:08] And I really do live by that. The way that I see the world is
[7:10] kind of like we're in this human spiritual school.
[7:14] And in that, there are lessons that we have to learn, and
[7:16] there's also lessons that we have to learn over and over
[7:18] again sometimes. And that's why it's so important
[7:21] to come in and be like, I'm actually disrupting this whole
[7:24] fucking system with a bold move, with a bold decision, with
[7:28] actually knowing what I want and acting upon it quickly.
[7:34] Here's the other thing. You wait for the divine timing,
[7:37] but I promise you that the longer you wait and the more
[7:40] space you create between what you want to do, what you want to
[7:43] create and the actual ideation of that thing, the actual
[7:47] realization, Oh, I want to do this.
[7:48] The longer that you make that gap, the harder it becomes to do
[7:52] the thing. Think about it.
[7:54] When you have an errand that you need to do, or maybe you need to
[7:57] call somebody or send an e-mail that you just, it just feels
[8:00] like such a big fucking deal. But you know, it's only going to
[8:02] take 10 minutes. It's only going to take 15
[8:03] minutes, but you know, you continue to put it off, you
[8:06] continue to make it feel stressful.
[8:08] And then it's two weeks later. You haven't done the errand, you
[8:10] haven't sent that e-mail, but it feels so big because you put it
[8:13] off for so long. Do you know that feeling?
[8:15] The longer you wait and the more space that you create, actually,
[8:19] you end up creating more doubt. You have more time to create
[8:22] more doubt for yourself in your head rather than just acting.
[8:25] And it becomes a bigger deal than it was in the 1st place.
[8:28] It becomes harder than it was in the 1st place.
[8:30] So just lower that gap between ideation and creation.
[8:34] And notice that that is a disruptive move in action.
[8:38] Instead of saying I'm going to wait for this thing to be
[8:40] perfect, I'm going to wait to take action.
[8:41] It's like no, disruptive moves shift timeline.
[8:44] So I'm going to take fucking action.
[8:46] I'm going to do the thing. And in turn, so much shifts
[8:50] immediately because your timeline has shifted.
[8:53] Let's talk about disruptive moves.
[8:55] OK? Let's get into Part 2 because a
[8:57] disruptive move can be something big like changing management's,
[9:00] changing careers, leaving that relationship.
[9:02] That can be a disruptive big move.
[9:04] But also, for example, a disruptive move can be my friend
[9:07] basically went to New York and she was supposed to go to Paris
[9:09] in four days. But instead her friend was like,
[9:12] you know, the buddy passes like it looks busy in the next couple
[9:15] days, maybe you should go now. You should go tonight.
[9:16] And she's like, fuck, OK, disruptive move.
[9:19] I'm going tonight. And now she's in Paris by
[9:21] herself for a couple days. I would 100% guarantee that she
[9:24] is going to meet somebody or find some sort of inspiration
[9:28] that completely shifts her timeline, completely shifts her
[9:32] life because she created a disruptive move of being like,
[9:36] fuck it, I'm listening to the universe.
[9:37] I'm supposed to go now let's go early.
[9:39] Let's fucking do it. So it can be big, but it can be
[9:42] also like a mid medium disruptive move, or it can be as
[9:46] small as just reacting differently.
[9:49] Something happens, there's a trigger.
[9:51] You could go back into the old timeline, the old trigger, or or
[9:56] you could act differently and all of a sudden your timeline
[9:59] shifts in that moment just by reacting differently to that
[10:02] partner, to that person, to that work situation, or maybe to how
[10:06] you're judging yourself, how you feel about yourself.
[10:08] If you just act differently in that one moment, you actually
[10:12] begin to shift your timelines. OK, I'll be honest, I am usually
[10:16] pretty skeptical about supplements.
[10:18] Most of them are overdosed, vaguely claimed, and are made
[10:23] for everyone, which basically means that they are designed for
[10:27] no one. And Daily Basis was the first
[10:28] supplement that I took where I was really looking at what was
[10:32] in it and why. What I love is that it's built
[10:34] around the fact that our body's nutritional needs aren't the
[10:37] same every day of the month. When you hear it sounds obvious.
[10:40] Why aren't other women's supplement companies doing this?
[10:43] Why aren't they taking this into account but Daily Basis does?
[10:46] They have two formulas. Replenish for the first half of
[10:49] your month and balance for the second-half of your month.
[10:52] They are OBGYN formulated. They are third party tested and
[10:55] they have real dosages that actually absorb like the
[10:59] absorption rate is the best and that's why I take it.
[11:02] That's why I love it. This is truly the supplement
[11:05] that I continue to take, which is saying something in itself
[11:08] because I feel like I always fall off and I got you guys a
[11:11] super special deal. You can get 50% off with the
[11:14] code all caps skinny dipping at dailybasislife.com or I'll link
[11:18] below or you can go directly to dailybasislife.com/skinny
[11:22] dipping, but I'll just put it in the description below.
[11:24] So it's super easy go get that 50% off because it's only
[11:27] lasting a super limited amount of time.
[11:30] And I want to make sure you guys get to try this with me and let
[11:32] me know how it goes. Let's get back to the episode in
[11:35] the smallest of ways. React differently on the daily
[11:39] because what are we looking for? Conscious choice.
[11:42] Conscious decision making. OK, let's get into Part 3 and
[11:45] talk about the principles #1 trusting the unknown is looking
[11:50] at the sunset, the sun setting in the evening, and trusting
[11:53] that the morning is going to come.
[11:56] Oof. I love this because with
[11:58] disruptive moves, you have to know that you're not going to
[12:02] feel certain, you're not going to feel ready, you're not going
[12:04] to feel 100% confident and you take the step anyway.
[12:07] And that's what makes it disruptive.
[12:09] That's what makes it bold. That's what makes it powerful.
[12:12] And it's thrusting that even when the sun goes down, it'll
[12:16] always come back up. Like you just know when you
[12:18] watch the sunset in the evening, you just have this clear knowing
[12:23] no question about it, that the sun is going to rise the next
[12:25] day. So why can't you have the same
[12:28] self assurance that no matter what leap you take, you will be
[12:32] caught on the other side? OK, principle #2 you have to be
[12:37] willing to let go to make space. For example, with my management,
[12:41] right? I had to let go to Createspace,
[12:44] even though I love my manager and I love my management, and we
[12:47] had done so much together and I was actually so sad to put in my
[12:51] 30 days. But the truth is you have to
[12:53] trust that just because something's good, you could have
[12:56] something amazing, you could have something perfectly
[12:58] aligned, you could have something truly great, truly
[13:01] fantastic. If you let go of the mediocre,
[13:05] if you let go of the OK, of the fine, of the good, just let go
[13:08] of the good and know that the great is right around the
[13:10] fucking corner. Be willing to let go of
[13:13] something and know like the universe isn't going to give you
[13:16] that perfect person, that perfect job, that most aligned,
[13:21] you know, friend group. If you're not willing to let go
[13:25] of the friends that treat you like shit, if you're not willing
[13:27] to let go of that partner that doesn't value you, if you're not
[13:30] willing to let go of the job that is burning you dry on both
[13:34] ends, like you have to be willing to make them move.
[13:37] First you play the chess piece and then the universe follows.
[13:40] God follows, nature follows in place.
[13:43] So note that you're waiting for something to save you.
[13:47] You're waiting for a new relationship, you're waiting for
[13:50] a new friend group, you're waiting for a new job to save
[13:52] you. But in fact, you take the leap
[13:54] and then and then what you want appears.
[13:58] Just just know that and notice the way the universe works.
[14:01] It's literally just like the universal laws.
[14:03] And I want you to notice that you have to be willing to make
[14:06] space because you don't know the great that is on the other side
[14:10] of the good that you are letting go of, if that makes sense.
[14:12] Third principle is about balance, right?
[14:14] It's about trusting that what you want is coming, that
[14:17] everything flows to you. But then people get confused in
[14:19] the spiritual community. I feel like people are like, oh,
[14:21] then I just won't act. I just won't do anything.
[14:23] And it's like, no, I promise you that when you act, the universe
[14:27] acts alongside of you. It is momentum.
[14:29] It is universal law. It is truly just the way it
[14:34] works. So in that I just don't want you
[14:36] to keep thinking that you have to keep waiting.
[14:38] Please stop waiting, please. And that's all I'm asking for.
[14:40] You in principle #3 just stop waiting and just act #4 the
[14:46] final principle in these big timeline shifts, you are more
[14:49] open, right? So things might feel a little
[14:51] bit more emotional, a little bit more heavy, or you may also feel
[14:55] grounded in this. But it's so important that you
[14:58] ground deeper and ground stronger.
[15:00] I really believe the only way to expand upward is to 1st ground
[15:05] downward. I do believe that the tree
[15:07] behind me is the perfect example that the roots extend longer
[15:11] than the branches. And that is the perfect example
[15:14] in nature that mimics what it's like to be human, where if we
[15:17] want to expand and we want to grow upward, we actually need to
[15:22] ground down, send our energy inward to the earth.
[15:26] Because you might think, oh, high vibration attracting my
[15:28] life. It's very high energy, right?
[15:31] Actually, the highest vibration internally, emotionally is
[15:35] actually slow, right? It's peace, it's fulfillment,
[15:39] it's love. It's not chaotic and windy and
[15:42] quick. It's actually a slower vibration
[15:47] and actually quicker vibrations get to anger, blame, guilt, and
[15:54] eventually if it's too much, we shut down and that leads to
[15:57] depression. So we really want to be able to
[16:00] ground inward and slow down during these times in our lives
[16:03] because when we're making big shifts, quantum leaps,
[16:08] disruptive moves that are shifting timelines, it's like we
[16:12] need to ground so far downward using grounding techniques and
[16:18] being in our body and making sure we're, you know, being in
[16:21] our movement for that day. And we need to ground deeper and
[16:24] ground stronger because we are more open in these times and
[16:28] more susceptible to maybe getting thrown off path or in
[16:34] self sabotage mode or wanting to lean on cheap dopamine during
[16:37] these times. Because disruptive moves and big
[16:40] timeline shifts can sometimes feel overwhelming.
[16:42] So I really encourage you to do the things that allow you to
[16:45] ground deeper and ground stronger, right?
[16:49] And a couple of the daily rituals that I love to ground
[16:51] myself that aren't my whole personality and don't take up my
[16:54] whole day. I'm going to give you a couple
[16:56] tangible tips because, you know, I do love having this grounding
[17:00] spiritual energy in my life, but I've also learned to not make it
[17:02] my whole existence because there are so many other things that I
[17:05] love in life. And when I was only focused on
[17:07] Wellness and self improvement, that actually was quite a low
[17:10] mental health place in my life. So I think for me, like allowing
[17:15] the daily rituals to fit into my life in a way that doesn't take
[17:18] up my whole day or my whole personality, like is, is the way
[17:21] for me. OK, number one of my tangible
[17:23] tips, Prayer, prayer, prayer isn't just for church guys.
[17:27] Prayer is so fucking powerful, speaking what you want into the
[17:30] universe, but also when you have anxiety, instead of being like,
[17:33] Oh my God, I'm spiraling. Instead pray about it, talk
[17:36] about it. Ask for support from your
[17:38] guides, from God, from the universe, from you know, your
[17:41] animal guides, from your past loved ones.
[17:44] That's what I really want to encourage you to do because it
[17:46] just supercharges your manifestations.
[17:50] It supercharges your energy. When you are praying and
[17:52] speaking out loud, pray for other people that you love.
[17:55] I feel like that also supercharges everything and
[17:58] really grounds you in by speaking, by connecting to
[18:01] yourself and your spirit. That is an amazing way to ground
[18:04] and you can do it in the car, on a walk, just when you wake up in
[18:07] the morning, when you first open your eyes.
[18:08] Like it's not complicated. It's not your whole life.
[18:11] It just fits into your day in a way that just makes sense.
[18:14] Interval tip #2 for grounding movement, movement that changes
[18:18] ideally with your cycle if you are somebody who experiences a
[18:23] period, but also just movement that changes with your day and
[18:28] with your external circumstances and your energy levels.
[18:31] You know, like move, just move. Whether that's a walk, whether
[18:34] that's a Pilates class, whether that's a spin class, whether
[18:37] that's an online class at home, whether that's a run, whether
[18:40] that's just going to the rock climbing gym, whether that's
[18:43] going for a walk on the beach. Like allow your movement to
[18:46] adjust depending to where you're at in your life.
[18:48] But always keep moving because that is the greatest form of
[18:50] grounding, getting out of our head and getting into somatic
[18:53] healing in our body and movement of all types and working out or
[18:57] dance or anything that is movement, you know, that gets
[19:00] the heart rate up a little bit, truly allows us to connect mind,
[19:04] body, and spirit. Tangible tip #3 ask yourself,
[19:07] and you can journal about this. You can just like talk to
[19:09] yourself and talk out loud. If your life wasn't moving, OK,
[19:12] what would the audience be screaming at you to do?
[19:15] If your life was the summer I turned pretty, would they be
[19:18] like, pick Jeremiah or pick Conrad?
[19:20] Like what would they be screaming at you to do?
[19:23] Quit that fucking job that's tearing up your life and ruining
[19:26] your life. Leave that relationship that
[19:28] does not treat you the way that you deserve.
[19:30] Make fucking moves, take action. Like what would everybody be
[19:33] screaming at you right now and do that?
[19:36] That's your disruptive timeline shift right there.
[19:38] And finally #4 lately I've been doing therapy IFS work, and I've
[19:42] been truly, truly loving it. I went back to therapy after so
[19:46] long, but I decided to go into IFS therapy, which is internal
[19:49] family systems. And it's not like traditional
[19:52] talk therapy. I feel like with my IFS
[19:55] therapist, we drop in and it's almost like a meditation.
[19:57] A meditation connecting to different parts of ourselves and
[20:00] letting different parts speak and have the mic.
[20:02] And sometimes there's contrasting parts that come up
[20:05] and want to fight each other or want to fight for the mic.
[20:08] But having IFS therapy just allows me to be like, OK, I have
[20:12] all these different parts of myself and how can I listen to
[20:14] them? How can I truly listen to them
[20:16] and listen to myself? Because self validation and
[20:18] truly being there for yourself, that is the most grounding.
[20:21] Practice because you know no matter what happens in your
[20:23] world that you have your own back.
[20:25] And that's why going to therapy and supporting yourself in that
[20:28] way is huge. So one prayer isn't just for
[20:31] churches, babe. Speak it. 2 Movement, of course,
[20:33] allow it to adjust to wherever you're at in your life. 3 Your
[20:37] life is a movie. What is everybody screaming at
[20:39] you to do? That's your disruptive timeline
[20:41] shift. And #4 I've been loving IFS
[20:44] therapy. That is my tangible tips for the
[20:45] day. I want you to comment below.
[20:47] What is the one thing that you're going to do this week?
[20:49] Are you going to go to a new workout class that's shakes up
[20:52] your whole, you know, community and you're going to meet all
[20:55] these new people? Are you going to do that kind of
[20:57] disruptive timeline shift? Are you going to finally launch
[20:59] that thing that you're ready to launch, right?
[21:01] Are you going to post that first video on social media?
[21:03] What is it for you? What is this disruptive timeline
[21:07] shift? Are you going to fucking leave
[21:08] that man? Just saying, okay, I love you
[21:13] guys. You're inherently fucking worthy
[21:14] and you don't have to do or be anything to be worthy enough.
[21:18] But I hope all these things that we talk about support you in
[21:21] your greatest expansion. That's all I can ask for.
[21:24] And yeah, just know you're fucking worth.
[21:26] You are deserving of all your dreams and can't wait to see you

[21:31] you know you can tag us on Instagram, Skinny dipping
[21:33] Diaries or Sundays KK where you're listening and we will
[21:36] repost it on the stories. It always makes my life.
[21:38] I love seeing you girls on your hot girl walks.
[21:41] I love you guys. Disruptive moves shift
[21:43] timelines. Keep it in your mind.
[21:44] Remind yourself you are bold, you are brave, you fucking got
[21:47] this. Bye.
