[0:00] This episode of Skinny Debating is for a very specific group of
[0:04] the collective. It is for the ambitious women
[0:07] that grew up in House of Culture.
[0:09] And now that they're healing, they're abandoning House of
[0:11] Culture. But they're trying to find out
[0:13] how can they still be themselves?
[0:15] How can they still be truly ambitious as they were born to
[0:18] be, but in a soft girl era way? What is up guys?
[0:27] And welcome back to Skinny to Bing.
[0:28] If you are new here, Hey, I'm Kayla Rose and this is Skinny to
[0:31] Bing, the podcast where we strip down and we dive in
[0:34] metaphorically to the mind, the body and the soul.
[0:36] I love to talk about nuanced topics and today is that very
[0:40] thing because if you are an entrepreneurial human or you're
[0:44] an ambitious woman and you grew up being like, OK, I have this
[0:48] energy. I know I'm supposed to do big
[0:49] things in this life, right? I'm supposed to create, I'm
[0:52] supposed to express, I'm supposed to do something
[0:54] important and big. If you you do have that feeling,
[0:58] this episode is for you. Because we were taught in order
[1:00] to do that, we had to hustle. That led to cycles of burnout
[1:04] that led to cycles of shutdown that led to cycles of just not
[1:08] liking what you're doing anymore.
[1:10] And the truth is, the path is not laid out before us.
[1:14] Trust me, I know how blinding it can be.
[1:17] You're like, I want to walk this path.
[1:19] I want to be in my feminine, but I still want to be ambitious.
[1:22] I want to be in my soft girl era, in my flow, in my
[1:26] relaxation, but I still want to accomplish.
[1:28] I still want to express. I still want to create.
[1:32] I still want to produce. But I want to produce from a
[1:35] place of integrity. I want to produce because I want
[1:38] to because I desire to, not because I feel like I have to or
[1:41] because I feel like I have to prove something.
[1:43] So this is for you if you are this collective.
[1:46] Hi, I am so happy that you're here and if you haven't found me
[1:50] before, I am Kayla Rose. We are new to YouTube, so we're
[1:53] growing in the space still. If you want to watch the full
[1:56] video with visuals, you can click the link below and watch
[1:59] on YouTube. Watch it all the way through

[2:04] But we have 200,000 subscribers across platforms on modify an
[2:08] Apple podcast. I'm so grateful to do what I do.
[2:10] And yeah, to observe being human, the messiness, the
[2:16] unexpected lessons, the changes, the evolution, the alchemy, the
[2:21] transformation. That's what I love.
[2:23] So I'm so grateful to be here to do that with you.
[2:25] And I'm really excited for this episode.
[2:27] So let's strip down and dive in. And of course, don't forget to
[2:29] comment or copy the link. Send it to somebody that you
[2:32] love, like subscribe, follow, because it really does help.
[2:34] So I can continue to create this free content for you guys and
[2:36] continue yapping with you all. Today, let's get into the
[2:40] chapters because I'm so incredibly excited for this
[2:42] episode. We are going to be talking about
[2:45] what the soft girl era isn't versus what it is and what it
[2:49] means to be no longer ruled by this toxic discipline and this
[2:55] productivity guilt. We're also going to be talking
[2:58] about why our generation is, you know, the first to really
[3:03] encounter this issue of finding ambition and the soft girl era
[3:06] in one and just being like, OK, like, how can I walk this middle
[3:10] path? And the majority of this episode
[3:12] is going to be us talking about how to find that balance, how to
[3:15] point out when you are falling into toxic cycles and how to
[3:19] pull yourself out of it. I'm going to give you the
[3:22] medicine, like the overall general medicine for this lesson
[3:26] that you're learning. But then I'm going to get into
[3:28] actionable tips and the actual structure of my week and how I
[3:33] personally create a schedule that supports my ambition but
[3:37] also supports my freedom. So let's drip down and dive in.
[3:41] I really wanted to make this episode because for me,
[3:43] entrepreneurship and my relationship to my own ambition
[3:47] has been one of the most spiritual paths that I've ever
[3:51] walked. I feel like my relationship to
[3:53] my partner and my relationship to my career, I learned so much
[3:57] about myself. I learned so much about who I am
[4:00] as a spiritual being and who I am as a human being.
[4:03] And today I just really wanted to speak to the women who feel
[4:06] like they are ambitious. They are meant to do big things
[4:10] in this world, but they grew up thinking that in order to have
[4:12] to do that, to be able to fulfill their goals and their
[4:16] desires in life, they had to hustle.
[4:17] They had to burn out. They had to play the game that
[4:21] they were taught to play by society, by the school system,
[4:24] by the government, by our family structural systems.
[4:28] And I'm just here saying that it doesn't have to be that way
[4:31] anymore. We are letting go of this old
[4:33] paradigm and we are stepping into the new paradigm where we
[4:36] are able to create, we are able to manifest and attract
[4:40] abundance as well as financial abundance as well as accolades
[4:45] and, you know, accomplishments and projects that we're really
[4:49] proud of. We can create all these things.
[4:51] We can attract all these things, but from a place that feels good
[4:56] within our body, that makes us feel energized, that makes us
[4:59] feel excited, that makes us feel like we are living by our own
[5:03] rules and that we have choice. And I think this ties into one
[5:07] of my most popular episodes that blew up on YouTube a couple
[5:10] weeks ago called The Art of Devotion, which thank you so
[5:12] much for listening if you're from that.
[5:14] Like I did not expect that to blow up.
[5:16] I'm so incredibly grateful. And this is kind of a follow up
[5:18] to that episode because I realized that the hustle era
[5:21] that is in this discipline mindset, it's coming from
[5:24] scarcity, it's coming from lack, it's coming from not feeling
[5:28] good enough, needing to prove yourself.
[5:30] And I really wanted to show you in practice how you can begin to
[5:33] step into this mindset of devotion, especially within
[5:38] business, within your dreams. Look at that wind confirmation
[5:43] within your goals. And this ties into this episode.
[5:47] And I really felt inspired by Zara Larsson's new song.
[5:50] She has her new album called Midnight Sun.
[5:52] And she's just such a pop diva. Like, I am so grateful that she
[5:56] is like, stepping into the scene and getting her flowers because
[5:58] she's been around forever. And she has this song that she
[6:02] says I could live a simple life. But that's the thing with the
[6:07] ambition. And when I first heard this
[6:10] song, I was like, that is how I feel Like sometimes I feel like
[6:13] I could throw in the towel, have a simple life, you know, my
[6:16] partner supporting me. Like I don't need to do this
[6:20] crazy thing where I push myself to extremes to create these
[6:23] projects and follow my dreams and my goals as I have for the
[6:26] last 7 to 8 years of my life. But the truth is I just can't
[6:31] help it. It's not who I am.
[6:33] I am meant to be the type of person that has ambition.
[6:37] I'm meant to be the type of person that doesn't require a
[6:40] simple life but wants to live 1. Of greatness, wants to live 1.
[6:43] Where I know that I lived to the fullest, that I created to the
[6:47] fullest, and that I made the impact that I wanted to in my
[6:50] life. But don't get me wrong.
[6:52] Soft girl. Like the soft girl era that we
[6:56] see on social media, I want to create an environment for you
[7:00] and for me where ambitious women like ourselves, we're able to
[7:04] create, but we can still be in our soft girl era.
[7:07] And when I say soft girl, I just want to make a super big
[7:10] clarification. By soft girl, I do not mean
[7:12] obedient. By soft girl, I do not mean
[7:14] quiet. By soft girl, I do not mean meek
[7:17] because that is forever not me. That is that will never be me.
[7:21] That is just not who I am born to be.
[7:22] And if you're listening to this video, it is probably not you
[7:25] either. But what I do mean by soft girl
[7:27] era is I mean you're no longer being run by cortisol and
[7:32] perfectionism. That's what I mean by being in
[7:34] your soft grow era. It's not about being obedient or
[7:36] weak or meek or quiet. No, it is about being strong.
[7:40] It's about being boundaried, but it's also about not letting your
[7:44] cortisol spikes and not allowing your perfectionism and the
[7:48] expectations of yourself control your life any longer.
[7:52] It means that your jaw unclenches when you're in your
[7:54] soft girl era. It means that your shoulders
[7:56] relax because you feel like you're not carrying the weight
[7:58] of the world on your shoulders. I went to a massage girl the
[8:00] other day and she said that all women she works on hold tension
[8:04] in their shoulders and men in their lower back.
[8:06] And the women obviously like not just saying like within this is
[8:10] within like the context of like the gender binary, just saying,
[8:13] which like is interesting because you know, as I when I'm
[8:17] talking about like the ambitious woman, like I'm talking about
[8:19] everybody, I'm talking about the girlies.
[8:21] I'm talking about the girlies. You guys get it?
[8:23] I just want to make that like super abundantly clear that this
[8:26] is like for the girlies, the gays in the days, not just
[8:29] women, because it is this feminine energy that we get to
[8:33] carry, that we get to carry into our life.
[8:35] And also so many of us have existed within the context of
[8:38] society where we weren't able to live the lives that we want.
[8:41] So I feel like we're all in this together.
[8:43] But women in general, when I'm saying that, I'm saying they
[8:45] carry so much on their shoulders because the weight of the world
[8:49] is on their shoulders. We, I feel like women hold the
[8:51] vision for the world moving forward.
[8:53] And also being in your soft girl era means, sorry, all the
[8:58] Roosters in the back are going off, but we just have to
[9:00] continue. But being in your soft girl era
[9:02] also means you're choosing your joy and you're allowing your joy
[9:06] to be your motivation rather than obligation.
[9:09] Your joy is your motivation, not your obligation.
[9:12] And when we move from this place that I'm doing this because I
[9:15] love myself. If you listen to the devotion
[9:17] episode, that's what it's all about.
[9:19] It's about moving from this place of love, of trust in
[9:22] yourself, of, of knowing that you're showing up for yourself
[9:25] and you're getting the things done because you love yourself,
[9:28] not because you hate yourself or you're trying to prove anything,
[9:30] but because you truly fucking love yourself.
[9:32] And I feel like the path is not laid out in front of us.
[9:35] And that's why this is so confusing.
[9:37] And that's why I wanted to lay the path out with you today.
[9:39] And I also want to hear your download comment below, like if
[9:42] you have any ideas, any downloads about this episode, I
[9:44] really want to hear. This is a group effort, babe.
[9:47] OK. But the truth is the path isn't
[9:50] laid out and the blueprint isn't there.
[9:51] So we need to be the blueprint of what we want to become and
[9:55] the life that we want to create for our daughters in the future.
[9:59] And when confirmation again, yeah, thinking about doing it
[10:06] for the future generations is literally is literally
[10:09] everything because we are some of the 1st first humans to truly
[10:14] like you and me were some of the first girlies to be able to
[10:17] truly have free reign and free opportunity, especially with the
[10:20] social media landscape. But I mean, think about it like
[10:24] when we just got the right to vote.
[10:26] Is it like 1970? Don't quote me on that, but it's
[10:29] like somewhere in that it wasn't that long ago.
[10:31] I don't think we realized like how much things have transpired
[10:35] for feminism in the last 30 years.
[10:38] And now I'm 26, and it's like, I feel like millennials and then
[10:43] like Zelenials, which I feel like I'm a Zelenial.
[10:46] And then Gen. Z.
[10:47] Like we are this first group of women to truly have the
[10:50] privilege to create whatever it is we want to create.
[10:53] And that can come with almost an overwhelming sense of decision
[10:56] fatigue because there's actually so many options on what we can
[10:59] do and what we can create. And I think our souls really
[11:02] desire it. We want it because we never got
[11:04] the opportunity to maybe in past lives.
[11:06] And we feel that now. And why do bodies like you and
[11:10] me want to work for ourselves? I was telling my mom this the
[11:13] other day because she's like Kayla.
[11:14] Not everybody's meant to work for themselves.
[11:16] And I was like, mom, I understand that.
[11:18] But at the same time, like wealth is capped.
[11:20] Like when you work for somebody else, when you are building
[11:22] somebody else's dream, your wealth is capped, your ability
[11:26] to attract abundance is capped and you are making money for
[11:29] them and their family and their lack of legacy.
[11:31] And I rather personally make money for myself.
[11:35] And even if that comes with the stress of being an entrepreneur
[11:38] and being self reliant in that way, I rather builds wealth for
[11:43] myself and my future generations and my future family to come,
[11:45] not somebody else's bank account.
[11:48] So wealth isn't capped. And the reason that I feel so
[11:51] incredibly passionate about this topic in particular is because
[11:54] of my story. I grew up very ambitious, but I
[11:57] was brought into hustle culture. I was taught that I had to go,
[12:00] go, go. And it led to burnout and it led
[12:02] to anxiety, and it led to feeling like the weight of the
[12:04] world was on my fucking shoulders.
[12:07] And then when I started to heal and I got into my healing
[12:10] journey, I started to feel so much resentment for my ambitious
[12:13] self because I was like, why have you put me so through so
[12:16] much stress and through so much anxiety?
[12:20] And then I was like, wait, no, I miss my ambitious self.
[12:22] She's actually a big part of me and who I am and my fire and my
[12:25] passion. So then I was like, how can I
[12:27] learn how to walk the middle way?
[12:29] And when we look at any spiritual teachings that go back
[12:32] to Buddhism and Taoism, like it always comes back to that middle
[12:35] way, right? We don't need to be in such
[12:38] incredible extremes. What we really need to do is
[12:41] walk that middle way and find balance.
[12:43] How can we find that balance between the ambition and between
[12:46] the soft girl era? And we're going to talk about
[12:47] how we're actually going to do that now.
[12:50] So let's get into it. If you feel like you are trying
[12:53] to find balance, but it is not working, this is what it might
[12:56] look like. It might look like the pendulum
[12:58] is swinging back and forth. You are going back to extremes,
[13:02] right? You are going to the extreme of
[13:03] hustling or the extreme of softness.
[13:07] It also may look like working 24/7 and feeling like Oh my God,
[13:12] like I never have a moment off. It also feels like obsessing
[13:15] over tasks and goals and not being able to allow your mind to
[13:18] rest until things are done. I know that one very well.
[13:22] It also looks like having intense seasons of hustle and
[13:25] then intense seasons of burnout. Again, that pendulum just
[13:27] swinging. Sometimes it looks like being
[13:29] structureless. It can look like maybe being in
[13:31] that resentment period to structure and the healthy
[13:34] masculine that gives us structure and gives us purpose
[13:38] and gives us action and gives us momentum.
[13:41] It can look, look like resentment towards that part of
[13:44] our themselves. And we can therefore be
[13:46] structureless. We can be like, I don't want any
[13:48] structure. And the problem with being
[13:50] structureless, which I think I've learned first hand, is that
[13:53] it leads to incredible decision fatigue.
[13:56] And when you have too many options and when you have no
[13:59] structure, actually, it's really hard to get things done.
[14:02] And in fact, the healthy masculine structure is the most
[14:05] beautiful, beautiful, beautiful container for the flow and
[14:09] creativity of the feminine of the soft girl era within us.
[14:14] And you know, what I have noticed collectively is that
[14:18] when we go through these cycles of extremes and back and forths
[14:21] and like we're guilting ourselves for working, but then
[14:23] we're guilting ourselves for resting.
[14:25] And it's like we just can't fucking win.
[14:27] What happens is I feel like we have this collective burnout
[14:30] specifically as women, right? We're feeling burnt out from the
[14:34] world that we were born into. They want us to be burnt out,
[14:37] right? Because if we're burnt out and
[14:39] we're tired, then we don't get to recreate the new paradigm and
[14:43] the new earth that we know that we deserve.
[14:45] So it's up to us. It's up to you and me to be
[14:47] like, OK, even if I'm burnt out, I'm going to do these things
[14:50] because I can bring myself back. And collectively, I feel like
[14:54] because of holding the weight of the world and also expectations
[14:58] of ourselves, perfectionism, feeling this need to prove and
[15:01] wanting it all at the same time, feeling like we have so many
[15:03] options and we want to do it all.
[15:05] And also comparing ourselves to other people on social media,
[15:09] what this leads to is shut down. It leads to hypo arousal.
[15:13] So when you're looking at the window of tolerance right here,
[15:16] you're in your middle zone here. This is where you can like
[15:18] really get things done right. You're really getting things
[15:21] done. You're in the flow, you're in
[15:22] the momentum. And then, you know, if you get
[15:24] really like agitated, irritated, stressed out, you know, because
[15:28] you're overstimulated, you might go to hyper arousal up here
[15:31] where you're like, Oh my God, like I'm just so overwhelmed.
[15:34] I can't do anything. But what I've been noticing more
[15:37] often than that one is actually hypo arousal when you go down
[15:41] here, when you are just so overstimulated, so overwhelmed,
[15:45] so burnt out that your body literally says shut down time.
[15:49] And it's like we can't do anything.
[15:51] We need to be a nothingness. And I've noticed this in myself
[15:55] and so many of my friends. And yeah, let's talk about the
[15:58] medicine for it, because we deserve better.
[16:01] We deserve to be able to feel like we can create and
[16:03] accomplish and produce, but from a place that feels truly an
[16:06] integrity with our souls and with our bodies, and just with
[16:11] the natural cycles and rhythms of our beings.
[16:16] Because our bodies know from an evolutionary perspective, our
[16:19] bodies know how to create in cycles without burning out.
[16:23] But it's the outside noise from society that has trained us to
[16:26] be different, to be in hyper production and to have
[16:29] productivity get when we're not in that, that has created this
[16:31] pendulum swing of extremes that's leading to burnout, hypo,
[16:36] arousal. I'm just being like, shut down.
[16:38] I don't want to do anything. So what is the medicine for
[16:41] this? How do we actually, this is my
[16:43] favorite part of the episode. This is the answers.
[16:46] This is the actionable steps. First of all, the medicine is
[16:52] awareness, OK? You see it's going on.
[16:54] You see you're going from the pendulum swings 1 to the other
[16:58] and 2:00, calling yourself out and coming back to a place of
[17:01] practice and choice. What do you want to do with your
[17:04] time right now? How do you choose to spend your
[17:07] energy? How do you choose to spend your
[17:08] time? When you create choice, it heals
[17:13] our burnout. When you create choice, it
[17:16] teaches your brain that this is your life.
[17:19] You are the director of this movie, and you get to create
[17:24] what comes out of it. And when we feel like we have
[17:27] choice, it makes us feel free. And that freedom is the
[17:33] medicine. That freedom is the medicine.
[17:35] And I'm going to talk about how to actionably do this.
[17:37] But then you have awareness and then you practice, you call
[17:39] yourself out, you create choice, and then you do it all over
[17:42] again because there is no way that you're just going to have
[17:45] this. Like, I mean, maybe I don't want
[17:46] to hold you back. Like if it just clicks and your
[17:48] whole life changes from this video.
[17:49] Amazing. But I've been working on this
[17:51] for five years and I really have gotten to a place where I
[17:55] genuinely feel like I can create balance and whenever I fall off,
[17:58] I can come back. But with that being said, I do
[18:01] have to continually practice and show up.
[18:03] And sometimes I do fall off and I don't see it as a place, an
[18:08] opportunity to guilt myself or shame myself.
[18:10] I really see it as an opportunity to get back on track
[18:15] and discover how I want to be in a new way again.
[18:18] And that's when we create choice, OK?
[18:20] Choice is the medicine to burn out.
[18:23] And I think something I really want to talk about a little bit
[18:26] was listening to your body. OK, Listening to your body and
[18:30] being like, what do I need to do today?
[18:32] Like, for example, I was supposed to go on a walk with my
[18:34] friend today and we have plans. And I ended up sleeping in
[18:37] because my body really needed rest.
[18:40] And I could have woken up and I could have been like, Dang, I
[18:42] miss my social plans for today. Like I could have gone into like
[18:46] a sadness aloneness, like spiral.
[18:49] But I was like, actually I feel like I was supposed to sleep in
[18:51] and then I was supposed to have the energy that I needed to show
[18:54] up and record today. And I used my intuition and my
[18:56] body's compass to guide me to recording this.
[18:59] And I feel so excited about recording this episode.
[19:02] It doesn't feel like a chore. It doesn't feel like an
[19:04] obligation. Even though this is my work, it
[19:06] genuinely feels like something I get to do because I love it and
[19:09] I love being here with you guys. And that's what it looks like to
[19:12] listen to your body. But the truth is you also can't
[19:14] listen to your body too much, OK, because your body also
[19:20] relates to your mood. And your mood will sometimes
[19:23] say, I don't want to do this. I don't feel like it.
[19:25] I don't feel like socializing. I don't feel like working on
[19:28] this project. I don't feel like doing those
[19:30] emails. I don't feel like doing those
[19:31] admin tasks that are super annoying.
[19:35] Like our mind will make any excuse in the book to not face
[19:41] the discomfort and the annoyance of little tasks.
[19:44] And the truth is, listening to your body and being in your soft
[19:48] girl era isn't about letting yourself off the hook and never
[19:51] holding yourself accountable and not doing the things you're
[19:53] going to say you're going to do and listening to your mood.
[19:54] No, it's not about the mood. It's about focusing on your
[19:59] higher purpose. What would you do if you were
[20:02] showing up for your higher purpose and your higher self
[20:04] today? And can you do that from a place
[20:06] of love? Not from a place of shame or
[20:08] productivity guilt, but from a true place of love where you're
[20:10] like, I'm showing up. And I am doing this because I
[20:13] know that my dreams are so big. And if my dreams are so big,
[20:16] it's going to take consistency. It's going to take consistency
[20:20] without burnout. So I need to find a way to walk
[20:22] this middle path and allow myself to have rest, allow
[20:25] myself to have days of play, allow myself to get off my phone
[20:28] and have days off. Like by doing these things, you
[20:31] realize, OK, Like I can listen to my body, I can listen to my
[20:35] body, I can do what I need to do.
[20:36] I can rest when I need. And also I can hold myself
[20:38] accountable and not fully trust my mood and not fully trust my
[20:42] mind and my thoughts. Because the monkey mind cannot
[20:45] always be trusted. It just can't.
[20:47] Unfortunately, our monkey mind hates discomfort and it'll make
[20:51] excuses. So it's not about the mood or
[20:53] the mind, but it's about truly listening to the soul, the body,
[20:58] and to the bigger purpose and the bigger picture and allow
[21:00] that bigger picture to motivate you every single day.
[21:03] Sometimes even just writing in my journal and being like, what
[21:06] am I focusing on in my life right now?
[21:08] And making sure that my focus is aligned and my values are
[21:11] aligned. It makes everything easier when
[21:13] I'm making choices throughout the day.
[21:14] So this is my actionable step for how I personally now like
[21:18] this is like actually what I do in my life for me personally to
[21:22] organize my life so I can have structure, like light structure.
[21:26] I call it like skeletal structure because it's like a
[21:28] skeleton skeletal structure that really supports my feminine
[21:31] flow. So I can be ambitious and in my
[21:33] soft girl era at the same time. So skeletal structure that
[21:38] supports choice is everything. I think for me, having time
[21:42] blocks is really big. I like to have big time blocks.
[21:45] Like today I'm working on the podcast, or I'm working on
[21:47] social media, or I'm working on admin work emails, things like
[21:51] that. And having big time blocks by
[21:53] topics and just being like, OK today, like the day before, I
[21:57] usually like set an intention for that day.
[22:00] And I'm like, OK, like I am going to have a time block for
[22:05] this. But also if I want to go to the
[22:07] gym before, that's OK too. And if I start a little bit
[22:11] later, that's also OK. I'm going to create a lot of
[22:13] space in my day so I can get this done.
[22:16] And for me that really helps because then I feel like I have
[22:19] choice. I am not like making myself sit
[22:21] down at a certain time and the part of myself that loves to
[22:26] detest structure is like, OK, we still have choice.
[22:29] We still get to do what we want, but we do want to stay committed
[22:32] to this task today. And having one or two tasks is
[22:35] about all I can handle. And then I also think having
[22:38] true full days off is everything, like blocking my
[22:41] social media apps. I use Opal, not sponsored.
[22:44] It's kind of expensive, but it's fine.
[22:46] It really does help me and having full days off and
[22:49] blocking my apps just allows me to feel truly rested in my work.
[22:53] Especially as an entrepreneur, it can feel like you're working
[22:55] 24/7 rather than 9 to 5. Like you're like, wait, like all
[23:00] of a sudden I'm working for myself and now I'm my own boss
[23:02] and am IA boss that's awarded. Or am I the type of boss that's
[23:05] going to allow myself to get rest and have fun and have days
[23:07] off because I know that joy motivates my creations.
[23:11] So having full days off blocking my apps.
[23:14] And for me, I love to plan my fun, like planning fun because I
[23:19] realized I wasn't seeing my friends enough.
[23:20] I wasn't socializing enough being an entrepreneur because I
[23:23] had no structure with my schedule.
[23:26] So by planning fun things in my week like going surfing
[23:29] tomorrow, I'm going to waterfall with my friends, doing a photo
[23:32] shoot with a friend, by having going to dinner with somebody on
[23:35] a Friday night. By having loose plans with
[23:39] friends that create fun and joy and that are rooted in
[23:42] socializing, it actually allows me to plan my work schedule
[23:45] better because I know that I am going to have fun and I know
[23:49] that I am making time for that and I'm making time for my brain
[23:53] to truly be off the clock. So planning in fun and joy and
[23:57] socializing for me as an entrepreneur helps me actually
[24:00] stay more ambitious in my work and stay more motivated in my
[24:03] work because I feel like I have a reward during the week,
[24:06] multiple rewards where I get to enjoy my time with my friends.
[24:09] Because you know, they say, oh, if you love what you're doing,
[24:12] you'll never work a day in your life.
[24:13] That's not that's not true. Like if you love what you do and
[24:16] then it becomes work, it still becomes work and you still need
[24:19] to find ways to love it. But also there needs to be
[24:21] boundaries. There needs to be boundaries.
[24:23] You can't work 24/7. Something that I love to also do
[24:26] is I love to work with the days of the week.
[24:28] And this allows me to create a loose structure that feels
[24:31] really supportive to my intuition and my body and my
[24:34] feminine flow. So I first started learning
[24:36] about this because I noticed I was like, wait, like, that's
[24:41] actually crazy. Like Lunas because I, I grew up
[24:44] like taking Spanish in school for like 10 years.
[24:47] So it's like Lunas is Monday and Lunas is lunar and Monday is
[24:52] ruled by the moon. Or we look at, let's lay them
[24:55] all out all here. I'm going to have my assistant
[24:57] when she's editing. Lay them out right here, please.
[25:02] And then Friday, for example, is Viennese and that is Venus.
[25:06] So that means that Friday is ruled by Venus.
[25:09] So it's a really great day to dress up, go on a date, go out
[25:12] with your friends, where Monday is a really good day for inward
[25:15] days. So Monday is going to be ruled
[25:17] by the Moon. So for me, that's a great day to
[25:19] not start the work week and just have a moment of reflection and
[25:23] really doing wherever my heart and emotions want to take me
[25:26] that day and allowing myself to sit with myself and just do
[25:30] whatever I want. Tuesday today is ruled by Mars.
[25:33] So I love, love, love getting shit done on Tuesdays.
[25:37] That is like my grind day. And then for example, Wednesday
[25:39] is ruled by Mercury. So with Mercury, that's really
[25:42] good for communication. So I'll do meetings, emails,
[25:45] interviews, things like that, or I'll just maybe record a podcast
[25:49] or something like that. So getting things done Thursday
[25:52] is I usually work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday as an
[25:54] entrepreneur, but sometimes Thursdays I have off like
[25:57] tomorrow I'm hanging out with my friends and then my boyfriend
[25:59] flies in. So Thursday will be off for it's
[26:02] ruled by Jupiter. So that is just a great day of
[26:04] expansion. So if that means like you really
[26:06] feel called to work on a project to expand your life, amazing.
[26:09] But also if you want to have some fun, if you want to have
[26:12] some fun, that Sagittarius Jupiter energy like that is also
[26:15] a great day for that. And then Friday, I love to do
[26:18] like a little bit of self-care, like I'll go get a massage, go
[26:21] get my nails done, maybe go out for dinner with my friends.
[26:23] And. And then Saturday.
[26:25] Yeah, OK. Friday is Venus.
[26:27] Yes. OK.
[26:28] Thursday, Jupiter. Friday is Venus.
[26:30] Saturday is Saturn, as you can tell.
[26:32] So with Saturn, it can be two distinct different days.
[26:36] So either if I got a lot done during the week, I noticed
[26:39] Saturday can be a free day. I'm off my phone, I block my
[26:42] apps. I enjoy my life.
[26:43] I go to the farmers market, I go to the beach.
[26:46] I see my mom something like that, but sometimes if I didn't
[26:49] get a lot done during the week, Saturday with Saturn being the
[26:53] planet of responsibility and reward and getting shit done,
[26:56] that daddy planet, that healthy masculine that we love.
[27:00] Sometimes Saturdays I want to grind like I love getting things
[27:03] done for the new week on Saturdays.
[27:06] And although other people don't work on Saturdays, as an
[27:08] entrepreneur, I realize I can do whatever the fuck I want.
[27:11] So and then finally Sunday is ruled by the sun.
[27:14] So that is just a great day to re evaluate your week before and
[27:18] re evaluate your week to come and do journaling, cleaning the
[27:22] house. I love doing laundry, making
[27:24] sure that I'm have food for the week.
[27:26] I go to Whole Foods, clean my floors, make my bed, whatever it
[27:32] is, you know, make sure I'm drinking a lot of water, just
[27:35] things to reset for the week. So for me, a really great
[27:38] skeletal structure that works for me, that supports choice is
[27:41] this astrological format. And then something else that
[27:44] really helps me in the medicine is I love to express and create
[27:47] over plan. I think as an entrepreneurial,
[27:50] ambitious woman, it can be really easy to get stuck in the
[27:53] planning. And that is so in the mind.
[27:55] And when we get stuck in the mind, that's when we get stuck
[27:58] in that discipline. That's when we get stuck in that
[28:00] scarce, but when we drop into the body and we take action and
[28:03] we create momentum, then we step into that devotion and we step
[28:06] into that feminine and that inevitably puts us more into our
[28:09] soft grow energy because we're actually doing something.
[28:12] And then we can just like feel more free afterwards because we
[28:14] actually did it rather than just thinking about it or planning
[28:17] it. And I noticed a lot of
[28:19] entrepreneurs plan rather than doing.
[28:21] And I promise you, the way I have gotten so much done in the
[28:25] last five years while not burning out while working in
[28:28] cycles and seasons is literally, yeah, by making sure that I'm
[28:32] expressing and creating over planning.
[28:34] And also in this like, whenever you notice yourself, like doing
[28:38] the thing and walking the middle way and you're walking that path
[28:41] of ambition and soft girl era at the same time in that middle
[28:45] way. And you notice yourself getting
[28:47] things done without that spike in cortisol.
[28:49] And you're taking your time and you're listening to your body,
[28:51] but you're still being accountable.
[28:53] Like be so proud of yourself. Like say it out loud.
[28:55] Be like, wow, I'm actually doing it.
[28:57] I'm actually learning. By celebrating your small wins,
[29:00] you will see that that momentum shapes everything.
[29:03] And you will feel more motivated in the future to return back to
[29:07] that feeling When you celebrate your small wins in those moments
[29:10] and the little ways that you see yourself changing and grow, you
[29:13] should be so proud of yourself. Literally even for showing up
[29:15] and listening to this episode. It is a sign that your soul is
[29:18] ready to step in to this middle path, the path that you know
[29:22] that you're supposed to walk, where you're supposed to walk a
[29:24] path of big dreams and ambition, but you're also supposed to love
[29:28] your body, listen to your body and working in cycles, working
[29:31] in seasons, taking your time, listening to your intuition.
[29:35] Because when you createspace to listen to your intuition, you
[29:37] notice that you move from a place of inspired action.
[29:40] You don't move from a place of I have to.
[29:42] It's like, oh, I feel this urge right now to do this thing and
[29:45] it's this inspired action pouring out of you.
[29:49] And that's what we want to crave for yourself.
[29:50] I'm so curious if you guys want to like comment below, just
[29:53] anything that you relate to within this episode, if it was

[30:15] answers, you have the messages. You are also the Oracle and you
[30:18] should trust in that. So comment below because I want

[30:34] have no idea like when you guys pose and you share or you even
[30:37] DM me like it makes my whole life because I'm like wait.
[30:39] Thank you for reminding me that I need to continue to show up
[30:42] because there are so many days that I doubt myself.
[30:44] But I know that this is what I meant to do.
[30:46] And I know that whatever you're meant to do, if it's your
[30:48] calling, it'll keep fucking calling.
[30:49] So I love you guys. Bye.
[30:51] See you next week.
