This is the incredible story of former RAF Chinook Crewman, Liz McConaghy. From pulling the trigger and being shot at, to extracting wounded soldiers from the battlefield, and even a near fatal collision with overhead power cables, Liz's seventeen year career in the back of a Chinook helicopter is one she wouldn't swap for anything. But not all combat injuries are physical, as Liz shared with InsideAIR's Flt Lt Amy Casey. InsideAIR is produced for the Royal Air Force by RAF Media Reserves. Theme music by RAF Music Services.
