[0:00] Hi, I'm Miss Katrina. I write simple English stories
[0:06] for kids today. The story is about being smart.
[0:12] The Princess is up in a tall castle.
[0:17] How can she go down? The story is Rapunzel from
[0:24] Grimm's Fairy Tales. We will learn 3 words.
[0:30] Fairy. A fairy is a small person in
[0:36] stories and can fly lock. She locked the door.
[0:44] I can't open it. Rope.
[0:48] Rope is long and I can tie rope on things.
[0:56] Listen for the words in the story.
[1:00] Fairy lock rope. Let's begin.
[1:06] Rapunzel. Once there was a girl with
[1:11] beautiful golden hair. Her name was Rapunzel.
[1:17] One day she walked in the forest.
[1:22] She saw a fairy. The fairy said, come to my
[1:28] castle, but it was the bad fairy.
[1:34] The bad fairy locked the door. The Princess couldn't go out.
[1:43] The castle was very tall. The Princess couldn't run away.
[1:52] She sang songs. One day a Prince heard the song.
[2:01] He looked around. Then he looked up.
[2:06] He saw the Princess in the tall castle.
[2:12] The Princess said, I want to make a rope.
[2:18] Can you help me? The Prince had a lot of clothes
[2:24] in his bag. He took his shirt.
[2:29] He threw the shirt up, up, up. He took his socks.
[2:36] He threw the socks up, up, up. He took his pants.
[2:43] He threw the pants up, up, up. The Princess took the shirt and
[2:51] the socks and the pants. She made a rope, She opened the
[2:59] window and she went down, down, down.
[3:05] But then she heard the bad fairy come back, come back, said the
[3:14] bad fairy. The bad fairy pulled the rope
[3:20] up, up, up. Then Rapunzel jumped off the
[3:27] rope. She fell down, down, down.
[3:32] She fell onto the garden. She was OK because the flowers
[3:40] were soft. Then Rapunzel and the Prince ran
[3:48] away from the bad fairy. The end.
[3:54] This story is about being smart. The Princess and the Prince make
[4:02] a rope. They run away from the bad
[4:07] fairy. I'm Miss Katrina.
