This week on the Rockonteurs podcast we welcome one of the greatest and most respected drummers in the business to the show, it’s Andy Newmark. Andy talks to Gary Kemp and Guy Pratt about his time as a member of Sly and the Family Stone and how he got that gig before going on to work with the likes of John Lennon, Carly Simon, David Bowie, Ronnie Wood, and Roxy Music. He’s clearly a great drummer, but also a tremendous storyteller and this is an instant classic episode.
