## Transcript

[0:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hello, everybody.
[0:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Welcome to another episode of Taint Talks.
[0:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I am your host, Tain here to talk to you with a new episode of Trater's The New Blood Season.
[0:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We are seven episodes in, I've only talked about it once.
[0:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I felt like it was time to talk about it again.
[0:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I have male, male got served with me.
[0:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hi, male.
[0:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: How are you?
[0:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hey, teen, thanks for having me on to talk to traitors.
[0:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes, I feel like I have to say it that way because if you have you really tried to talk about it while you're using like Siri voice to text and I'll always put like traitors to RADR.
[0:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, no, that's not even close.
[0:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The rate does.
[0:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: have to be automatic.
[0:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I have a question, do you say traders new blood or do you say like when you want to describe what sees DC traders season five because I looked on my TV guide and he said it was season five and that felt wrong agreed I had the same thought I I've been calling it traders new but I have assumed like it's two different shows just like the British one is like the traders
[1:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Mm-hmm.
[1:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And then if anything, I have to say to not confuse people or like the common folk here, I'll say celebrity traders UK because like our traders is celebrity traders.
[1:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's very backwards between US and UK.
[1:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't care for it.
[1:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't consider this season five.
[1:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I consider this season one of a new series, but I am with you.
[1:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm with you.
[1:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It should be traders new blood season one.
[1:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, the only thing I could think, did they air this on broadcast before like after it ran.
[1:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So that way, like it showed like for people who set like a series recording on a DVR, like yeah, you would automatically get it.
[1:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like the difference between I remember this and eventually it was a good thing, but
[1:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The golden bachelor was a different recording than the bachelor.
[2:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, I didn't have the premiere because they considered it like a whole different show versus if they put it together.
[2:08] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I wonder if there's some like behind the scene logistics, but I do think it's very confusing because this is to me a completely different series, all other expectations.
[2:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: wrong.
[2:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But that's another thing I think we'll talk a lot about this about the weird execution of the traders new blood colon C and five.
[2:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, oh, that's a good point you make about it like for people who are recording because yes, it is on NBC versus Bravo and you know, it's going to be on peacock the next day, but if you want to record because I know sometimes they do it for ratings.
[2:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I remember a spin off of real house as a vet land.
[2:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think Porsche show and it was this real house as a vet land or Porsche's new so you can get it and it records all that I didn't think about that.
[2:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not one of those who's mad.
[2:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: that it's on NBC because there's a lot of that online where it's like put it on peacock we pay for where I'm like guys like it cable is still not peacock and they still need to pay the bills like cable still exists so yeah try to eliminate it is kind of crazy like I don't understand the
[3:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: annoyance about it.
[3:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I totally agree.
[3:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think the execution is off like on broadcast.
[3:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think there's stuff that can be tweaked to make it better.
[3:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I see why people are thrown off.
[3:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I will say that my thought was I think traders' new blood would have been better to keep as like a peacock exclusive and put the celebrity on broadcast because I think people are more interested in celebrity or like
[3:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Kick it off like with a change in January with the new one rather than the civilian one.
[3:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, um, because I have I heard I keep hearing like mixed like stories about ratings.
[3:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I heard the premiere did like okay in one facet then I heard it did great another one then I heard it shed viewers and I know like peacock helps, but then I keep saying like it's doing like it's like, like probably like fine, but it's not great.
[4:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So, but I don't know like streaming numbers and they don't share them as much as I don't know really how successful this is I will say.
[4:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The people who I know who are watching this and I wonder if it's the same for you, it feels like our usual sort of like survivor challenge big brother crew versus I cannot name any of my like non reality TV but friends who do watch celebrity traders watching this I'll say my non competition reality TV show friends who watch it stopped.
[4:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: like they started and then it was like because you know it given me traders and what I heard last time because I think I covered it last season the select versions.
[4:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I got a couple of people who were just like when he came to like the challenges they tuned out.
[4:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's just not a bargain.
[4:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So at least in the select part kind of kept them hooked but when there's not a hook with this and it's like they don't consider it like a real season.
[5:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why am I going to waste my, there's a lot of other things to what we're saturated with two months.
[5:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And also if you are a trader's buff like we are, yeah, we are over saturated right now.
[5:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm not watching all of them because I'm going to save some room for later.
[5:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[5:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm doing new blood and celebrity UK.
[5:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm waiting for Canada because I want peacock to have my numbers.
[5:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I want them to
[5:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I have a friend who works on traders Canada, so I'm also very biased that I also will support it with my full heart, but I've decided that I think peacock, since they started to add it peacock will eventually stream it, me giving them my data and showing that I'm clicking on it, I'm watching it and watching it through is a good thing.
[5:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I have seen.
[5:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Canada one and Canada three.
[5:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay.
[5:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I haven't seen two.
[5:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm saving that because we are in you dated with traders and there's only so much I can take on at once.
[6:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I still haven't seen the new season of Australia, which I've heard great things.
[6:08] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And of course, no chill.
[6:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Everybody spoiled it.
[6:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Warm minutes after it aired.
[6:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Have you seen it?
[6:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I do want to go back because I think I was saying cable and I know it's on broadcast TV, but I'm saying cable because that's how I get my Broxy stick of the same thing.
[6:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, so I'll say I use YouTube TV so I mean all that and to your point of them having that on Broadcast TV the select version I think then it wouldn't be the version we get now because then you censored and you'll be all things and got for me
[6:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We don't like it.
[6:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: No, and here's like I love a cliffhanger here there.
[6:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The celebrity traders you can't watch in concurrently.
[6:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm not to keep bringing it back, but like they have cliffhangers too, but you are getting two, one hour episode.
[6:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So it feels satisfying.
[6:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like we watched last night a one hour episode.
[7:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So 43 minutes and we had a whole episode and all we did is we lost Mark.
[7:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: like, wow.
[7:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And after waiting a whole week of a clipping of that too, it was just like, okay, and I think that's been the issue.
[7:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think if we were getting two episodes, I'd feel a little better.
[7:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like, I didn't feel as, like, as dissatisfied after the premiere because we got two episodes.
[7:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We got to see some murders and management and herding.
[7:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And now it's just like,
[7:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Oh, good.
[7:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: A whole week and it feels like it's going to anti-climactic.
[7:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[7:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And we can talk about to like what we think the results of like, yeah, this management or lack there potentially I will be.
[7:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I know it was so bad that we didn't get a new episode and then we had to have a cliffhanger again.
[7:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's like seriously.
[7:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like that was me was the biggest mistake of
[8:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Find it like why take that week off because like what's on Thursdays and I don't know like like but like Then fix your line up like I just think if you're trying to get momentum on something that's so big in there Like and especially like I guess they say this is their biggest reality hit in years and I would say yes because I literally couldn't name another show Is dealer no deal Yeah, I got that like there's nothing there.
[8:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't even know what is on NBC.
[8:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I watch everything on peacock American gladiator
[8:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is that I don't know if that's I might get ninja warriors sorry.
[8:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Oh, that one.
[8:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, I'm saying ninja they did reboot American gladiators I think it's on streaming.
[8:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't know what's wrong here.
[8:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think yeah, I think they kind of want to watch it.
[8:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I was such an American gladiator's kid where you know Oh, I was weirdly obsessed
[8:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And they had, this is how much of a dork I was about it.
[8:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They had a children's version as well, and I watched that, and they would like to do like the food pyramid and stuff.
[8:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[8:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think it was one of your climbers and gladiators on this.
[8:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But from the specifically the 90s, please let me know.
[8:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, oh, there's a nostalgia podcast that might be good on, but yeah, so I am watching Canada, I am watching celebrity UK and I don't think it's good watching that concurrently
[9:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, rankings.
[9:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I want to say it was Canada to the one you haven't watched.
[9:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I want to say that was the season I hated.
[9:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I did not get rid of numbers, but I really did not enjoy that season.
[9:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I was like, what is going on here, but this season is so good.
[9:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I love it so much.
[9:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I feel like they've got their stride because the season three that I did watch and I watched it, I think I watched that one live because we didn't have this I think we maybe had it was on the same time as maybe like a UK, I feel like I could take it on and I really I thought they did such a good job with three.
[9:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I feel like I really appreciate Korean as a host.
[9:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think she has this like.
[9:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: that I was trying to explain it to like friends and family and I was like she sort of were like a femme fatale who hosts this and her her wardrobe is insane.
[10:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's Lara Croft.
[10:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes.
[10:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, I really like her.
[10:08] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I'm really enjoying Canada but like I said all I will wait because we have so much going on.
[10:14] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes.
[10:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Give the give Peacock my number.
[10:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And numbers.
[10:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, I always say that Karin to me is my favorite of the host of the franchises that I've watched, but then I'm watching Claudia now and I'm like, oh, Claudia, just so good though.
[10:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I love her.
[10:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It is so good though.
[10:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So yeah.
[10:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All right, getting into Trader's new blood, we're seven episodes in, like I said, and last we saw Nia was murdered.
[10:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All right,
[10:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, do you enjoy when they don't tell us who it is and they do the flashbacks with do you want to see who it is that was murdered and then just see it play out?
[10:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Um, I think it's okay because it gives us a little bit of like a non-linear sort of thing.
[10:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And if if I'm going to be left on like a cliffhanger or some sort of thing like I don't mind a little bit of setup, you know, it's not the end of the world.
[11:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Mm-hmm.
[11:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay.
[11:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Michael was banished.
[11:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: How do we feel?
[11:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He seems salty about it even now.
[11:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like, what is like the saltyest ocean in the world, but when they're like, you could like float in it, I, okay, I don't listen, I don't want to be negative about the treat.
[11:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I all treaters is fun traders in some way or another and we learn games.
[11:28] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think the thing is that this, especially when we're bouncing against a UK one, where they're having fun.
[11:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Everyone seems so intense and negative and not having fun and the po-show, like getting these eggs at interviews where everyone is completely salty and angry and bitter, it's.
[11:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: bizarre and like notice respect to any of them like this was probably your one shot anyway like why I don't know if everything's now suddenly like the doors are opening like I'm gonna be on I don't know what like the floor or something like I don't know what you think you're getting on Everyone has been saying like it's the vibe is different because they're content creators that are being cast I'm gonna say like I did not know the only person I knew was more again
[12:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So for me, I'm like, who were the content creators?
[12:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know if you'll be any different.
[12:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So, okay.
[12:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Sibillion has normies and creators and that kind of stuff too.
[12:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And yeah, like, why is it that theirs is better?
[12:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I don't, I can't, like, it's, it just feels like,
[12:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It is a season one of something and they haven't found that right for magic and find the right sort of people to to make it come to life because I'm just not rooting for like anybody.
[12:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I think that's my problem with the show.
[12:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I sometimes are issues where I like that I'm not invested in anyone like I'm big brother.
[12:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I'm like, I don't care who wins.
[12:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm around.
[12:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But for traders, you are either like, you need like a couple people that you're looking forward to, I think that they humanize them.
[13:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I think the UK has done that really great with civilians and the US right now, I'm like everybody's miserable.
[13:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So you think that they don't look like they're having fun.
[13:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think it's going to happen.
[13:14] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, and then afterward, they're all so salty about it that it's like, did you have a good time?
[13:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I can't, I can't just see a game.
[13:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, they just get so angry.
[13:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It seems like they're taking it so personal.
[13:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I guess if I were in their shoes, I'd like to think I would.
[13:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But maybe when you're in it, yeah.
[13:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But the Michael exit interview to me was like, the most, what is happening?
[13:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He went scorched earth for like, yeah.
[13:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: For what?
[13:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, and it's been a minute, like it's not like it's like live.
[13:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So you've had time to sit on it and this is still, you know, how you feel.
[13:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think the issue is probably like not because they're content creators, because you could get content creators and still have like a dynamic.
[13:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just think the casting wasn't great and not.
[14:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: is the mismatch of people.
[14:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, like if you can have people separately, you're great when you put them together, hmm, this is not quite working.
[14:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's hit or miss, right?
[14:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You're not gonna know until you put them all right together.
[14:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So there's no, you know, sometimes you see the cast and let's say like the raw Boston Rob and Sierra friendship, you're like, oh, that's so cute and they're different aspects.
[14:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We don't have that.
[14:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's possible.
[14:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They don't have to be celebrities.
[14:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like it's possible to have that, but that bond is not happening.
[14:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's like a mob against people.
[14:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, Victor's annoying.
[14:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, Jay's annoying.
[14:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But there's too many instances of it that we're watching back to back with no balance of cuteness.
[14:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And it's just, do you think that's because the shorter run time and we're losing those chances to build those characters out?
[14:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Because I mean, that thing is like, again, you can't have civilians, but yeah, we see these relationships and friendships that like they kept saying Tamika and Nia or close.
[14:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We didn't know that.
[14:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: could have fooled me.
[14:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I like I don't remember scenes specifically, but I also feel like unfortunately, this one does feel a little like in one ear out the other, like I kind of don't retain the true state to episode.
[15:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I feel bad.
[15:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[15:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, or like Mark and Joe being close.
[15:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't even know like they throw gummy bears at each other, but I like besides that, I don't, you know,
[15:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know.
[15:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, I don't know where the groups are.
[15:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Clyde said, now he's like, you're, to me guys, like, you're my close salad left in the house.
[15:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I've never seen those two talk that I recall.
[15:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I thought he was in a hole alliance with four or five people.
[15:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And now, like, yeah, simply just some not tracking.
[15:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I, I wonder, maybe if we, by cutting out 10 full minutes of content that you are missing those little chances to see who's getting along, who's friendships,
[15:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But also again, now kind of like maybe just for the one pay off of them turning on each other.
[15:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And okay.
[15:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[16:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And to your point about like it not you know how you like you focus.
[16:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You're watching the challenge.
[16:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know what groups are in who survivor.
[16:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know what tribe is who you said to dolls.
[16:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I was going to say to dolls and I was like who's in the dolls again?
[16:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Michael and who else I did forget their names.
[16:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I I did take notes for last night's episode, but my eyes are dilated.
[16:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I probably wouldn't be able to read them now.
[16:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But I did I wasn't when I was like, why do we keep calling her?
[16:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Why do we keep going on that girl who's always wrong Abby L because there's another Abby I didn't even remember that
[16:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, I literally have her note on here saying, did you know there was a Abby with a C or something?
[16:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I have no, yeah, I said, did you know there was an Abby B?
[16:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay, I don't, I guess I felt so dumb.
[16:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Cause I was like, there are many people I do know.
[16:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And like, you know, there are some standouts.
[16:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't think we have like star stars, but I think there are some standout people.
[16:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[16:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And then there are others who I had to write their names down and describe who they were because I didn't I don't like remember them week to week as much as other people.
[17:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, they're playing into the background And you know what guys maybe it's not to show like work is so busy right now There's so much to catch up on love is blind and watch multiple multiple trade There's a lot going on to maybe it's not them, but I do think it's them so we're consuming a lot of the people But also like stars are everywhere and if I can remember
[17:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like everybody who's from love is blind, but I can barely remember you on traders.
[17:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like, and that's also maybe a victim of an edit and that they were a large part of it.
[17:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I guess in one way, the way just sometimes last on the traders is to be invisible and to be sort of forgotten about.
[17:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Because actually here's a question, would you rather be like vocal on the show and getting airtime?
[17:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But you are always wrong or invisible in the edit.
[17:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: you're probably going to make it very far because like you know what's happening.
[17:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'll be invisible in the edit and make it far because at that point, they're forced to give me a story because it's not much of us anyways.
[18:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I'll take it, but also I'm the kind of person who does not want to be in front of a camera.
[18:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So if I meet him up there, I'm invisible.
[18:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They know I'm there.
[18:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm gonna put, you know how to make my mark.
[18:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I will vote with the wrong spelling.
[18:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I would know how to spell it, but I would write like male, like M-E-L-L.
[18:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: a lot of it.
[18:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm sure people would too.
[18:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm curious if people do now intentionally go with the way of spelling, or if it really is like, no, just we cannot.
[18:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I fear for some of the names that are coming up.
[18:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I would love to figure out two maybe in history who had like the most correct spelling.
[18:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's like the one that was like very, very obvious.
[18:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like I'm sure like the British won there have to have been like a Tom and I would love to see how many time we were talking
[18:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Listen, we had an epic moment in Survivor this week where Lewis went on there, had an extra vote and spelled her Lyat, what's her name?
[18:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Lyat is named, no, I'm saying her name wrong, but he's felt it two different ways.
[19:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Just in case, just in case, one of what I was like, just keep it the same, like Jeff is going to get the point anyways.
[19:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, it's become a tradition right now, you know?
[19:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Alright Victor.
[19:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Victor is screaming into a void.
[19:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What are you thoughts on Victor?
[19:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: How is he playing?
[19:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is his gameplay the right way?
[19:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is his gameplay the wrong way?
[19:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What are you thinking?
[19:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay, I'm going back and forth on it because obviously he is correct, but because he was so crazy in the meeting, I call them basically kind of like the boy who cried wolf cried creator like enough that he was too Frank in the beginning and doesn't have like the friendships and allies that trust his opinion, which is a problem now, because he has the right lead and everyone just thinks like he's losing his mind more again, who got a piece of fruit thrown at her doesn't
[19:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: clock the idea that maybe there's something big to write because why would somebody throw an apple to you ever in your life who is working at apple orchard but his I think I had to like kind of logic out because I was like he knows it's two people.
[20:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He knows it's both Tamika and oh my god, I'm playing Hannah's name Joe Joe he's so focused on Tamika over Joe, but I think
[20:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt that he knows that he cannot convince that group that Joe is a trader because Joe is like lovable, affable, Joe.
[20:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He's having a fruit diet now, like he needs to get to meca out to prove that it's probably like to prove the apple was part of it and therefore like we need to do the other apple person, but it's not coming off great that like to meca is getting the most heat.
[20:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[20:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But because, yeah, it's not great.
[20:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The unconscious bias of traders is always very apparent, but I'd like to give the benefit that the logic is that everyone is so obsessed with Joe.
[20:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But again, why do they, why do they like Joe so much?
[20:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I feel like he would get on my last nerve before being gone.
[21:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Just personally, it seems a bit much for me.
[21:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's exuberant.
[21:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[21:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He's your husband.
[21:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You hear me, he's much like a positive person.
[21:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, I, um, and with you, it just feels like the fruit is so obvious, but I always have to remind myself when we are watching these things it's what the editors want us to watch to produce is want us to watch and they're making you so obvious and Morgan does recaps on her Instagram and she said that she didn't even remember that an apple was thrown at her.
[21:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, we're out here.
[21:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We couldn't even remember the names from, but it's true.
[21:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: From survivor guys, Lenea.
[21:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Sorry, but yeah, but you know, so now we're expecting a whole bunch is happening and you know, everyone's like, Morgan, you got a fruit thrown at you when it shows like I had no recollection that a fruit was thrown at me and she was like a bunch of people were eating fruit that night.
[21:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, so it's a whole different reality.
[21:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And also in Michael's exit interview, he was like, the reason why no one was also paying attention to Victor is like, there's a bunch of people who have food allergies, including fruit allergies.
[22:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That was an interesting thing I did hear afterwards.
[22:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[22:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, so they figured like they're not going to murder them and plain sight with fruit put people's lives in danger because then That also minimizes the number of people that it could be done to because I think they're assuming it will be like you have to eat it Not just you know throw it into it.
[22:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, these are all scenarios that again people have to remember like we have the clues
[22:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We're watching it and they're also telling us what to think and what we know.
[22:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There are many other things that went on with them that we don't know, so it's a completely different perspective that the players have, you know?
[22:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: For sure.
[22:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think it's fascinating because they
[22:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: many of them are like, well, I need evidence.
[22:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I need evidence.
[22:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And like, in traders, there's not going to be that much.
[22:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So when you have something, it is like, it's funny, because I just think on other seasons, like, if this happened on like UK, they would probably be like, well, it's the only evidence we have.
[23:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So let's try this theory.
[23:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[23:03] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But nobody is willing to, and especially this vote was, I recall it to be very much like original like UK traders, which is everyone just voting for anybody that they felt like.
[23:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And
[23:14] \[SPEAKER_01\]: know, you know, no alliance structure, which in one way is refreshing because I prefer when there isn't just like group think and we're just like knocking them all out.
[23:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[23:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's also like, oh, you are all this, I need to wait, like, I don't know which season's internationally seem, this does seem to rank pretty high up of like some of the dumbest faithfuls that we've ever had played the game.
[23:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes.
[23:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, it is because it's like you have to try new things because yes, Victor is right.
[23:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And this is what I think is the floor in his game is like just like in life, you need social capital.
[23:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It just goes a long way at some point.
[23:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, Jay tried it.
[23:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm surprised.
[23:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It talking about dumb as faithful.
[23:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They moved them from jacel fast.
[23:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He was so annoying.
[23:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like he's not a traitor But I would be like you were so annoying causing chaos all of a sudden you stopped like that just went away for you So and I think that's the thing you know when you ask would you rather be invisible?
[24:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Would you rather make your mark it depends on what your future plans are a lot of these people if you're coming on a reality show
[24:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: want to make a career out of the reality show you want to be cast for other shows because now there's so much potential the floor the house of villains the perfect matches the all of it so maybe that's what they're aiming for it feels like that's what victor is aiming for even though it feels like this is just who he is as a person
[24:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[24:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But, you know, so, um, yes, he's doing that and he's being bold and he doesn't mind being murdered, but you need social capital, like in some, you have to find the balance.
[24:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he's just skewing way too much on the other side.
[24:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And that's why no one's paying attention, you know, to him.
[24:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What I'm surprised about is that he seems to have an ally in Abbey L, Loud and Wrong.
[24:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she is just not buying into this at all.
[25:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she is well, is just so focused on Tamika and she's so obsessed with why.
[25:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Oh, why?
[25:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Because she is the person who keeps saying, and then it's like,
[25:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: change the logic in your brain here, but why am I still here?
[25:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Because why it's blaming me and it's like, no girl, you're still here because you have gotten everybody banished because you are probably the loudest and worst faithful here.
[25:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like you've gotten what like four people banished, that's why you're here.
[25:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like you are so off-base that they are keeping you around.
[25:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Natalie gave that trader hack on their season and said, I was wondering why I'm still here,
[25:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it must be because it has to be because I'm so off base if you're so off base you're just going to keep you to continue giving the wrong things for she thinks she's so smart and I'm like how having to figure it out that this is why you are here and you know speaking of why it.
[26:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There are the options that the traders choose is Mark, Wyatt, and Chrissy on who they want to murder.
[26:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think like if they know, I could have decided if they knew that ABL was perpetually wrong, they should know, right?
[26:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Because she's always vocal at the round.
[26:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She's very vocal.
[26:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, and I don't know what I did know was like if she they knew that she had so some Wyatt because she only do certain people and I don't know if one of them have been involved.
[26:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She seems to change your mind like like she wakes up in the morning and has a new target to go after and it's like hasn't been probably discussed before or it's like lightly been mentioned and then it's before.
[26:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Hey, this is my person today.
[26:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: that I think it is today.
[26:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I would keep why it because she's so focused on him.
[26:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And if they vote him, no, I would kill him, actually, because they killed Mark.
[26:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If you kill Wyatt, oh, sorry, I would keep him, sorry.
[26:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I would keep him because she's so focused on him versus killing him, because if you kill him, then you remind her that,
[27:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Wait, I know nothing in this game and then she shifts focus and it's like okay Maybe we need to listen to what Victor is saying, but eventually they didn't kill him But I think what is sort of annoying about her is like she's not even like remorseful like oh, man I think we wrong.
[27:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Let me take a second and take a beat No, she just moves right on.
[27:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's fascinating like because a lot of people you get it wrong and like tail between your likes like Chris Chrissy Chris.
[27:28] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Do you or Chrissy?
[27:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Chrissy
[27:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She was very wrong, and then we've barely seen her.
[27:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And then this was kind of the first time I feel in a while that we've sort of heard from her again, where she's like, yeah, actually the other person who's loud and got so many banished and multiple times as Abbey L, yeah.
[27:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, I'm actually going to double checking if it's Christy or Christy, because that's true.
[27:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think I remember Christy, and she spelled it weirder than I thought.
[27:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Let's, I also feel like if you are applying
[28:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: If your name is spelled normal, I think they put you lower in the casting pool, because I think they want to find people whose names will be misspelled.
[28:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You spelled.
[28:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, so this is a Christie with a K. And then did we have a Christie?
[28:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: No, it is Christie with a K. Okay, got that.
[28:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All right, so what they decide on killing Mark and, you know, Mark was so sad.
[28:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It has to be so sad when you walk in and you just see that letter on the chair.
[28:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And you're like, you've been banished.
[28:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So you're like no one ever seems to have that like mild thing of hope or it's like maybe I'm recruited.
[28:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Maybe it's a choice like they all just know.
[28:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[28:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So they go on to breakfast.
[28:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know why the cameras spend the long time in the boiled eggs.
[28:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't I guess the food has been chatter like breakfast and things like that, but you know, they focus on that.
[28:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Victor is being very obnoxious.
[28:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just, I get it.
[28:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You want people to believe that he just wouldn't stop.
[28:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was just to make a, of course, not your trader.
[29:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know this, you guys just listen to me, just do that.
[29:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Does he have nothing to lose at this point or should he scale back at this point?
[29:08] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think he should be calming it down a little because I think it's coming off a little like petulant toddler.
[29:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I couldn't tell and I've been trying to figure this out too because I'm like, how do you not hear that that room's big?
[29:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But I feel like you hear conversations.
[29:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Can they like nod to your messages that the mic's turned up because he is like seemingly pretty loud.
[29:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like, there he's not that far from Tamika when he's muttering or whatever of all this.
[29:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I feel like you would know.
[29:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, I didn't think you was trying to hide it.
[29:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not going to lie.
[29:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: No, I think he's like really going for it, like too hard.
[29:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I think what we've just seen is,
[29:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: these faithfuls aren't going to bite.
[29:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They're just like, ugh, it's Victor.
[29:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He's been annoying for weeks.
[29:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I think it would be the same as Jay did it again.
[29:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But I thought somebody made a really interesting observation, though, in the breakfast.
[29:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay.
[30:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And that was Blue is cowboy Ben, who noticed Katie's behavior because she's been sort of like under the radar.
[30:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[30:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And he noticed a lack of like
[30:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She didn't care.
[30:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[30:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like she's a lot of remorse and also like no kind of no fear in the situation where everybody else is like sitting in like dead quiet.
[30:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[30:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yapping about Mark being a golden doodle.
[30:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[30:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, she escaped because she had to susen her for a little bit and then it just kind of went away.
[30:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think the whole apigate thing kind of like helped the situation also.
[30:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We're that it's drastically going on and on.
[30:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, and everyone's just like scrambling with different people and trying to figure that out.
[30:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, they go to the challenge and the challenge is not for gold.
[30:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, it is for gold, but it's for a game changing power that Allen is not, you know, sharing with them yet, but they could also place a player.
[30:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They, they're digging into scare grows and trying to get money for themselves for the pot or the bank, whatever it is called, and there are four black hearts in there.
[31:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If you get the black heart, you could put it in someone's barrel and they will not be eligible for the power.
[31:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Now, did you know that Victor was an endurance athlete?
[31:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: No, I just think the one thing I don't love about the challenges for the show is that this is like a show that casts such a breath of like age ranges.
[31:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes.
[31:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And yet they have these things that like, this one I think was more more balanced.
[31:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Just like you would be able to you would probably bank less if you were older or less physically fit.
[31:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, but when it's stuff where you have to like push 100 pound barrels for a mile, it's like then you have to keep all these young physically fit people like really getting rid of Mark was just more of a surprise only because it was like, oh, who's going to win us money.
[31:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[31:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, I don't know.
[31:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I mean, I just thought he was like a fit looking man.
[31:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I didn't think there was anything that extraordinary about him.
[31:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I mean, he said he was like, I'm an insurance athlete.
[32:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, I didn't even think this was like an equalizer because I think I, when I say I said, why would they make a special power challenge of physical one like this, where everyone doesn't get a fighting chance.
[32:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like at this point, it's like,
[32:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If you have endurance and you can run, then you have a chance and it's only your few people and then more than likely it's It's usually a man.
[32:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They win the things.
[32:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not saying like we may can do it, but it's just the way that it's usually set up because I was like, if you're going to do something like that, make it something where everyone has a fighting chance like on the challenge they just make them do puzzles.
[32:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we know
[32:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's the same.
[32:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I didn't love that.
[32:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But the fake timer started and then this I'm running and everyone is going back and forth and Victor is still focused on Tamika that she's not going to get the power he's going to win it.
[32:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then this was a big episode for Shane.
[32:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Shane has been getting no edits, no nothing, and Shane comes out of nowhere, and then he gets the first black heart, and he's like, I'm going to put it in my, you know, competition.
[32:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And the only person that's being in my way is Victor, and he eliminates Victor, and Victor is not happy.
[33:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: even Alan Ripson to him where he's like calm down.
[33:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You'll be fine.
[33:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I mean for a money or cruel thing if he is this endurance athlete like that is a bummer because I do think I'll slightly disagree that I think there is a level of equal to it because like
[33:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Anybody could get to any of them.
[33:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think it was more that you have a better chance of getting a black art because if you are faster, you can go get more of them, but it is a little bit like a wonka bar where it's like, oh, you know, there's four black hearts hidden, you just make something, you know, maybe you're Charlie bucket and you get that one.
[33:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, but it was like they do need prize money, which is always the weirdest part of the show is the complete insanity to get I don't know if you're faithful $20,000 or like it's so it's such a bad price buck all things considering
[33:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's what makes it so cheap.
[33:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Super cheap.
[34:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I know.
[34:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I still, I wish it was just a flat prize pot and you're just like a huge shield or maybe like some incentive extra send of some other money or something.
[34:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Because it's just like,
[34:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Just like don't care.
[34:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like I don't care and I think that they don't care.
[34:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't care.
[34:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't think it's about the prize money as much, especially when it's like that it does come down and don't get me wrong.
[34:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like $20,000,000, $50,000.
[34:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That's a lot of money.
[34:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, but I'll think like especially on the celebrity one.
[34:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We know like At least the other ones for charity, but like Lisa Rina doesn't need the prize pot from traders like she just wants to be on the show.
[34:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like they're just going to go for shield.
[34:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So why not just go with that
[34:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[34:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, I agree.
[34:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, so yes, Clyde gets the next black heart.
[34:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He does more again.
[34:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And Abby L does Wyatt because everyone is just tunnel vision and who they think it is.
[34:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Abby L says I feel it in my bones that it is Wyatt.
[34:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So she's got awesome for us.
[35:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Uh, I had to thought and I was like,
[35:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Thanks, Mel.
[35:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'll read each other's ones.
[35:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, Ben puts it in Katie's.
[35:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And like you said, he's from breakfast.
[35:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's been suspecting Katie.
[35:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think he's just biting his time.
[35:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He knows that now is not the time.
[35:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's all these names going on.
[35:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If he throws it out, you know, the way these faithfuls operate.
[35:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why are you throwing Katie's?
[35:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maybe you are the trader.
[35:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he's just biting his time.
[35:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And that's the smart thing to do at this point.
[35:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, Victor is not letting Tamika read at all, like he, he didn't corner her, but they have a conversation at the castle.
[35:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he's just on her, like you just tell me.
[35:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So you're telling me that you're not going to do it.
[35:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says it's strategy.
[35:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Again, I just think this is who Victor is, like he's just going to do now, ask questions later.
[35:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he's just, he needs some restraint at this point of his game agreed.
[35:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He has like little to no tact, but I think there is something
[36:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think while only why it seems to have any support for him, that he's got to be a faithful because no trader is going to play this outwardly passionate and willing to sacrifice.
[36:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He's like a fair point that if you can't put yourself out there that much, but he just is a little too frenetic.
[36:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think I saw him drink from the French press coffee in the
[36:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, and I think the other part, like, you know, I don't know if it's a giveaway.
[36:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You're watching UK, right?
[36:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes.
[36:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If I were there, it would be so obvious to me that James A. Caster is a trader.
[36:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's visibly looks so stressed.
[36:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[36:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: you have to be really careful, but there's no way for them to know that, right?
[36:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like he can't handle the stress of being, you know, a trader and I think online someone said like at some point he had a panic attack and I'm curious actually how that is handled if he had a wondering a challenge or while filming
[37:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But how do you handle that when that's obvious, right?
[37:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What is going on?
[37:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I don't know.
[37:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm a little behind.
[37:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm two episodes behind.
[37:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I'm just like, in general, we had a player in season one or two of Trader's U.S. who left because it was too much for him psychologically.
[37:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So this is the other thing to think about is like, yes, it's a game.
[37:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But for some people, they're not able to handle it mentally and it's like, what do you do at that point?
[37:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That's a good really good point.
[37:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, and I don't know.
[37:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I'm curious if we will on UK if it already has happened and we didn't know because I'd heard maybe they paused filming.
[37:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't know if it breaks the game and it exposed them like there's a lot to it.
[37:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I'm curious.
[37:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I even go back all the way to very first UK that when Aaron has like a mental breakdown at the round table and he's like slam in the walls and freaking out like that was very emotional.
[38:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I think yeah, not that I want anybody to have like
[38:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: a MNDB on a reality show for our entertainment.
[38:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think though that passion, that character building and stuff, that's what's missing from this civilian one versus the other one.
[38:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And there were several other like faithfuls, entreters season one that like really popped.
[38:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And it's just like you said, the cast, I think, probably were
[38:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: on a wall as individuals all unique ones, but like mesh together is because they're not leading to like pure magic or it's the editors.
[38:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And if not, it's something they need to really reassess.
[38:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[38:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, not to compare it to Marida for a side, but the expert, the former experts, you so always say we can do all we can to to think that people will be compatible in paper, but we can't account for chemistry.
[38:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We exactly.
[39:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Can't so that's what's you know happening here, but back to Victor it's just like I think he's just balls to the wall because he feels like he has nothing to lose like whatever you think of me now.
[39:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I can't change your mind.
[39:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So he said he was like, like sacrifice me.
[39:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like I think he's at a point of like if we're not going to listen to me, then just like can I leave the game because I know I'm right or at least I have a theory.
[39:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We have to test it.
[39:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, and we'll say, are you going to talk about then when he does catch one thing though that should be decent evidence, but yet again, the faithful completely ignored him eventually.
[39:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, are you talking about when to make a blurt out Katie's name?
[39:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes.
[39:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay.
[39:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes.
[39:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I was getting it because I went into a meeting at all.
[39:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I was saying, like, is this good gameplay?
[39:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I have to say yes because he did get her flustered.
[39:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He got into the flustered, that she didn't even think about it.
[39:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she was like, well, Katie, and I'm like,
[39:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No, it's a vegan.
[39:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No, you can't take that back.
[39:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You can't do anything with that.
[39:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And you could just hit, hit, say it.
[40:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But in my mind, Victor was just got him.
[40:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yep, gotcha.
[40:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And the other thing is that we find out that it was like a genuine flub and she didn't realize it.
[40:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And then I felt so back.
[40:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Cause I mean, we've forgotten their names many times.
[40:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We had a two-minute conversation trying to get it to Chrissy or Chrissy.
[40:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like it does happen.
[40:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It just happened to be like,
[40:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, Freudian slip level of like, no, you revealed something worse than you intended.
[40:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, and I don't think she handled it right at the roundtable.
[40:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, fast forwarding, stick to your guns.
[40:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No one's believing Victor anyways.
[40:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They just think he's trying to cause chaos and just be like, I would, why the hell would I say, Katie?
[40:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, Katie's not even on my radar.
[40:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, she doesn't even like, you're, so he knows.
[40:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: that she's lying.
[40:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, who else knows?
[40:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No one else.
[40:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You know, like she tried and then it was like, oh, like, maybe I did.
[40:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I thought I said this name.
[40:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I mean, she tried, but I think that defense, um, maybe made it worse.
[40:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think maybe she could have, like, just, like, just, maybe just like, I just said the first name to came to mind to get you off my back.
[41:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like, I was tired of talking to you.
[41:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I just said a name.
[41:08] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The first person's name I thought it was Katie.
[41:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Maybe that's not great either.
[41:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But it was better than what ended up happening at the table, which I think that, if Victor goes, I do think she has moved up in the suspect rankings because of that, but also these people are idiots.
[41:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I can't guarantee that she goes nowhere.
[41:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Whatever happens now, whatever he leaves or whatever he stays, the effect is going to be there.
[41:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The repercussions of, yeah, all these chaos he's been doing is that because that's on point.
[41:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Even if they get one or two people wrong again, they're just going to be like, all right, we just have to.
[41:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: At this point, we have to test it out.
[41:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then once they get to me, go.
[41:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: they won't test anything.
[41:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They're just like this episode.
[41:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: This round table was proof that like they were not willing to even give any theory a test because they were everybody that you mentioned that was gifted a black heart received a vote from that respective person.
[42:08] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think it was such a fractured vote and it's that they're not using logic and they're all sort of thinking selfishly in their own head and maybe none of them have social capital within each other and maybe that's part of this overall discussion of chemistry that they're all just in their own worlds.
[42:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, but the repercussions of, you know, learning out that he mentioned Katie's name, what I'm very, very surprised about is like, we're not taking Victor seriously, but Katie took this seriously.
[42:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's, I mean, yes, trusting.
[42:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, because yes, your trader's trader is, but immediately, you weren't like, okay, I'm not gonna vote for her.
[42:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We'll talk about in the turret, like what's going on?
[42:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You immediately voted for Tamika.
[42:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That was, what, what the, what?
[42:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: for me.
[42:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I will say to him pondering it a little and for like the safety of the traders and trying to maybe mask, you know, relationships with each other's thing.
[43:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Maybe that is a good move because have you followed also it was like on TikTok and I'm sure it's maybe it's made to wait a real.
[43:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So have you heard about the, oh my god.
[43:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I can't remember her name from UK, but she has a formula for traders that if the faithful pay attention in order to do this, you can tell who is a trader or faithful based on different actions in the game and she gave them all like.
[43:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It was Hannah scientist Hannah okay.
[43:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, so she had this whole mathematical calculation of actions that a faithful typically takes versus a trader and like when they vote when they do stuff and when they applied that recently to the UK it 100% implicated like who the two at the time or two traders were.
[43:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: the recruit had him.
[43:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I would be so curious if I went through here how that would apply because I do think basically I think I'm trying to remember the exact theory and I can't go through all of it and I'm not going to play a TikTok audio over on this mic on a prime burn yours.
[44:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It was something about like when traders go after each other.
[44:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like when it happens and how it happens and the intensity and like when they pile on each other and I think having this random one.
[44:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, maybe obscures a little bit of the keys of cause it already makes sense because it is like retaliatory in a way that's like a logical one as opposed to like a very random one.
[44:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't think it's great for their chemistry.
[44:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Those are group but I can.
[44:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think it's a tricky one because I think ultimately we're trying to discredit Victor and that did give some credit to the credit and I think the thing is it's a good move by her because she's blending in with the crowd like hey we just seen this I feel like we need to try something and do that I think it's just If I was a faithful and I was on the round table I would just be like,
[45:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Do you vote for Tamika because you believe what Victor said?
[45:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And if you believed him, like you said that it was a joke the last few days.
[45:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then all of a sudden you believed that she said your name.
[45:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like what that will be where my eyebrows would be raised.
[45:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And now it would just be like Trader and Trader.
[45:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I don't know if it's the advantage of watching on my couch.
[45:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, I'll be excited to see if anything that's like more interesting than the cliffhanger they gave us because I think that's what we want to see is like the dynamics of how do you get past this like I don't care like that cliffhanger should have been the three traders up in the turret with a reaction of what did why did you just dig into me like who get this yeah this twist is silly I did hear it's also on Canada
[45:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, you know, but it's done much, much, much better and it's not fruit.
[45:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Well, oh my god, can I, when they threw the fruit, that was when I felt this season was in first and trouble because to me, I felt like it was a murder and plain thing that was so
[46:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: blatant game ruining and I think that producers didn't even think the fact out that like it was going out like all your traders pretty much like Katie locked out, but like this is.
[46:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And then this save is not interesting to me yes, you have to use it tonight, I would hold on to it.
[46:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's what I was like, oh, can I can I put this in my pocket for.
[46:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: mean, a future week is that's more interesting, but this feels like a targeted, we gave it to Rob for four episodes.
[46:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He had that for the next four round tables the season before Rob rush.
[46:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Oh, let's do it.
[46:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: A dagger thing.
[46:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, he kept it and they had it now all of a sudden now.
[46:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You got to make a decision.
[46:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So it's funny that an apple brought these people down.
[47:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They were posting.
[47:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They would never have been caught But I do think producers did that on purpose to open up the game.
[47:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think they get tired when it's just like okay It's never gonna happen so they had to do because this is game jeopardizing it really is it wasn't eat It was throw and they have to catch it like that's so many things
[47:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So many seasons in we know about murder and plain sight season two season one.
[47:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No one's really thinking that now They were actually expecting a murder, so Victor was like don't touch anything don't eat anything don't do it like everything was in danger.
[47:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know at that point So
[47:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The fruit chest that you free as our friend, but he did have a couple good quotes.
[47:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I know that Michael is like in this scorched earth exit press thinking like he ate, but I do think if I were to dub who's kind of like the breakout star, I would probably lean towards Victor and it is because he's just like like very loud.
[47:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: by, by, by vicious, but he's pretty much like one of the bigger stars.
[48:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[48:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think the thing that he's makes into the star is like, whether you love or hate a person, as long as they're being themselves, it will always go through.
[48:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he has that authenticity.
[48:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I can see him in any other shows.
[48:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I can totally see him.
[48:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's like, uh, Rome on Survivor.
[48:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think somebody else I know compared him to Rome too.
[48:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He just like he is captivating on screen where there are others that are there and they're having a nice time.
[48:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, this will be a wonderful experience to have forever, but like how many of them are really going to parlay this and into something else and I would say even something else that is.
[48:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: more noticeable.
[48:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like I said, like, I think they're playing out like the floor where they're casting a ton of people.
[48:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't know, basically anything that's on Fox that I have not tuned into.
[48:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I feel like they've a shot there.
[48:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, 99 to be exactly.
[48:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're going to be 99 of them.
[49:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But like do I see?
[49:03] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like I don't see Michael going on the challenge.
[49:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't even think that will honestly I don't know if anyone's going on the challenge.
[49:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't know if my challenge is going to exist But yeah, you know, I don't think I would say this on this season right now I think the options for if they did let's say a US all stars with everybody Celebs and regular people are like Don't think many of these people are getting the call or they are getting the call because they have to they do the global all stars No one's getting call from the season
[49:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Victor.
[49:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, we'll see how it plays out.
[49:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I can actually see Victor.
[49:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I can actually see Joe depending on how it plays out to make it might be an alternate.
[49:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[49:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like, um, I think that people should be sourcing her because she actually is just like so common normal.
[49:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[49:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like she's like cool as a cucumber in such a way that I feel like you should notice it, but they don't.
[49:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So here's my thing.
[49:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think I mentioned this when I was I had an episode about the new kept the upcoming celebrity cast that's coming It's not fair not that it's not fair, but I I would look out for it if I was cast every single season with had we have had a black woman as a trader
[50:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it almost seems like you have to look out for it.
[50:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so I'm looking at it and I'm like, well, is it to me?
[50:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because it's just always been the pattern.
[50:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And they haven't switched it around.
[50:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So other things they switch around, right?
[50:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Once we had traders who were the gamers.
[50:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And the other time we had this more housewives, because we don't want it to be a pattern, but the one pattern that they have kept consistent is there has always been a black woman in there, which is why I 1000% think Giselle is going to be a trader.
[50:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You know, do you think she would, I feel like she has faithful to me, but I don't know.
[50:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think it's who they want to make the star of the show, but I do think it's possible.
[50:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I've gotten, I've gone back and forth a lot of who I think, see, I would lean towards if I were going to say a black female on that celebrity cast.
[51:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes.
[51:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I would say it's got to be Taylor, because if you bring Taylor hail, are we really bringing her to be a faithful, faithful?
[51:08] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But that's us, Mel, that's us, and I know it's all big brother bubble.
[51:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The thing that's hard about traders too is in a way like it's kind of like the game like guess who where you do have to like think in like categories and then just like knock them out.
[51:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Is it a reality star?
[51:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay.
[51:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Is it a survivor?
[51:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Well, we get rid of one survivor.
[51:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Oh, they've they murdered another one.
[51:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And you keep doing stuff like that.
[51:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Mm-hmm, but not that I mean this season.
[51:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: No, they're not doing that, but that's I that's why I appreciate on the celebrity one that they're like Changing up who are traders.
[51:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So it doesn't become because it was going to be last season if we just did the same thing again.
[51:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It was like, okay, then like yeah same with I'm not same, but I guess like a kid where
[51:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Well, they recruited, so that's, they're all around the, UK season where it was like, they were only men in the turret, and then there was, I think it's season where they're only women who were traders.
[52:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I think doing things like that helps change it up too, so that you kind of can't figure it out.
[52:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think that's what I like about recruiting is that it does take away like the producers making decisions.
[52:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes.
[52:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And it makes it like more opens up the field that it could be anybody that's there.
[52:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, but my last argument for Giselle is, and people will get mad about this because I'm on the game aside.
[52:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm on the housewife side, you know, of course.
[52:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: People think, oh, this is not a housewife show, but they use the housewife to keep the bravos, the housewife's people.
[52:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Giselle is one of their compelling housewives.
[52:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Giselle is a producer's dream.
[52:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're just going to put her in the, and then you try to be in a trader buys you time.
[52:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You're just going to be there.
[52:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If they have to pick, pick, if peacock has to pick, do we want to lose Giselle or Taylor Hale?
[52:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's not CBS.
[52:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They would keep Giselle.
[52:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That's a great point.
[52:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And you know what?
[52:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They're happy with us.
[53:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: My dad, Giselle, my dad's a huge Giselle fan.
[53:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Potomac's favorite housewives, jazellas is number one.
[53:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He loves that on his one of the things, because he thinks it's just so genuine and real, it's not on Potomac.
[53:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They always eat food on camera on the other ones.
[53:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They don't.
[53:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He just loves that part.
[53:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's a good, that's a good reason on their one.
[53:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Just orders everything and just plays around with their food.
[53:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yep.
[53:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But yes, so that's why I think it is.
[53:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But maybe those switch it up, who knows?
[53:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, I don't think people were expecting rubbish to be a trader, but look how we turned out.
[53:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think, who did I pick on my thing?
[53:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think I said Jousel.
[53:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I said Whitney, love it.
[53:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I said to you,
[53:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I forgot who my last bonus person was.
[53:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I do think Whitney is well.
[53:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think it makes total sense.
[53:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think she's low key, but a good, and because the thing about a trader is like, they are your seasons narrator, they are your stars, and you need somebody, and she is like, when she's on Mormon wives, she just like can tell a story, and she's very riveting on screen.
[54:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Listen, love her or hate her with me on the Sanciasignment and with me is like tag me and Coach, I'm ready to play.
[54:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This has been her journey, man.
[54:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She is going to live it out and she's going to do all the things, but I don't know how we got here, but we are back in progress.
[54:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We are back to the voting on the round table.
[54:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Everyone got votes.
[54:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You get a vote.
[54:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You get a vote.
[54:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Morgan got a vote.
[54:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why it got a vote?
[54:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Katie got a vote.
[54:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: To me, because I got a vote.
[54:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Victor got a vote at the end of the day.
[54:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Victor gets voted to be banished.
[54:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And before he announces, if he is a trader or a faithful Allen is like,
[54:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: One person has the power and I completely forgot about the power male.
[54:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I did too.
[54:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You told us that the table was coming and then I was, I remember just being annoyed that they still weren't going to tell it to us.
[54:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And then they started to reveal it and I was like, oh yeah, well, here goes the momentum of this episode.
[54:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, it's called the power of the part in and the winner was a cliffhanger and I just was so annoyed
[55:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't like when a show doesn't include us in the journey.
[55:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'll give an example for those of you who watch the challenge.
[55:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Back in the day, when they're running and they're doing things, we had a timer at the bottom.
[55:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's the thing of the past now.
[55:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So now we don't know what is, what is it?
[55:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because automatically, in my jaded ass is thinking, you're manipulating me.
[55:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, I have theories.
[55:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm coming up with all this.
[55:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, now you're going to give it to Wyatt.
[55:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: who is his only supporter, who's gonna save Victor?
[55:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So, it can't be why it.
[55:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I did do some mental math because it was based on, oh, he got it.
[55:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It was who had the most money at the end.
[55:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I think if you got eliminated, your money went into the prize pot, but I thought you were out of the challenge.
[55:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Unless it, unless I go to keep it, I was under the assumption, maybe that if you were one of the four eliminated, you couldn't win that because like your money was taken to like the group, not black the black hearts, yeah, the black hearts, yes, was he was because I wasn't yeah, so I'm going to be that Victor wouldn't get it.
[56:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Why it.
[56:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Morgan and Katie get it and those would be ones more likely to keep Victor.
[56:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think it'd be really funny to me to ask it and she's like, get the hell out.
[56:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think they focus so much on Shane that it might be Shane and he thinks Victor is there.
[56:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I don't know, do we want Victor to be
[56:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think like for the show to move on, he has to be banished because I don't want to see it's kind of like housewives as we keep going back to which is like we need to resolve stuff and move on.
[56:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And if we're not going to resolve it, then get off my show.
[56:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[56:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think at this point, it's been several two weeks, three weeks.
[56:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't even know a victor shouting about the fruit and like I can't deal with another one.
[56:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't think anyone would say of them.
[56:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I think the only way you're going to get progress towards
[57:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Well, anybody get a clue on that is to get rid of Victor and maybe did not have that because what is that in other things too, which sometimes is just like you need to get rid of allowed an annoying faithful to move along, which is why we were all hoping Michael or Appaport would go.
[57:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And also, there's just nothing else Victor can do.
[57:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He has sprayed the spray.
[57:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He has sold the cool aid.
[57:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's just if they're going to drink it or not.
[57:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And when they banish and he's faithful, they have that sober moment where they're usually like, okay, maybe there might be, we have to, they've had seasons where they were like, we just have to test this theory out.
[57:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like for our sanity and for our sake,
[57:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So then we'll see what happens unless something else comes up, but it's there.
[57:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's at the back of their mind when it's going to resurface with this cast, we don't know.
[57:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is it ever going to?
[57:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We don't know, but that's where we are.
[58:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so your money's on Shane.
[58:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You think Shane is who's going to win it?
[58:03] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I like that theory now that you've said it because you, yeah.
[58:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's so funny because I forgot about Shane and then you brought him up mid episode, which is about when you also remember that Shane's there.
[58:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But I do like Shane.
[58:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He's popped up on my social everyone's value.
[58:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: a normal human being.
[58:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, I think is I think he's at least like laying low enough and not it seems like he gets involved but not too much.
[58:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So that's a good way to to last in the game.
[58:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, I actually know who he is when you say Shane as opposed to.
[58:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Albert Abbey.
[58:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: No, but Abby.
[58:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We see.
[58:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Do you actually like visually, I remembered her, but like, name wise, I just was like, I don't know your name.
[58:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think my only thing for Shane is I wish he was having fun.
[58:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He doesn't look like he's having fun, but that's the whole thing about this season, right?
[58:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Everyone is so intense.
[58:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No one is like, I love you guys, like you know.
[58:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Sorry guys.
[58:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We just have to compare it because we're watching at the same time like even with the select the UK or Canada I love you guys see you guys on the other side by these guys are like fuck you You stole money for me.
[59:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: This is my life like you know, it may be do you think because we didn't have like any okay one of the my all-time Favorite traders challenges was the one where they just had to recreate the artwork
[59:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, yes, the fun.
[59:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, is it the lack of silly stuff that there isn't like I feel like the I feel that Alan is being camp and the rest of it is so hyper serious right now and that it's missing the silly font of it like Tom say, and
[59:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Gengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengengeng
[1:00:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was, there was no blueprint to follow up.
[1:00:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Well, they're doing, well, it is like a bit of the, is there some, there's some, because remember, and I don't, this one's earlier, they both had the one where you went into the crypt and they were like the options to choose between money and, because they, they played out differently, and that's what I always do.
[1:00:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, even though it's the same challenges that sometimes they have different game mechanics or just, the choices are different, because not everybody's the same.
[1:00:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So in the UK, they had shields,
[1:00:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And they had money, but then what happened is they got spoiler to those who weren't like watching.
[1:00:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They eventually, like in the US when it was clear, they were all just taking shields and the money be damned because that's how it works.
[1:00:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And the UK, they got to a crypt of a certain point that was like in order to get the money, we need to shields and everyone was lying about having shields so in order to get the money for charity.
[1:01:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Some people had to fess up that they had in the fields and it was like you could sustain in people's faces that had them that were keeping it secret and weren't sure what to do and like all of that led to a lot of drama eventually too of like Who had a shield was willing to give it up who didn't like some people don't know I like that element so there is some stuff that's the same but I would have to I guess we'll find out like
[1:01:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, if the celebrity by the end, by the way, ends next week.
[1:01:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Did you know that?
[1:01:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, we're really shorter.
[1:01:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[1:01:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I can't turn her throat in time in life.
[1:01:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So no, I'm just...
[1:01:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When they're I'm behind also, so I'm just like, okay, honestly, I feel really when it shows done.
[1:01:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like, oh my God, one thing less of my plate.
[1:01:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I do agree.
[1:01:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I was nervous that it was going to continue until I was going to vacation.
[1:01:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I was like, how am I going to get this?
[1:01:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I watched it on my laptop.
[1:01:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm going to do this.
[1:01:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm already stressed about, I can't wait to go on vacation, but I didn't very stressed about missing my shows.
[1:01:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[1:01:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's like what I'm like, oh no.
[1:02:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What a mess.
[1:02:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I know, that's where I always try out the different VPNs, but I shouldn't sell myself out on here.
[1:02:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But yeah, I think, you know, when I'm trying to say just like in the past, it was like, yes, almost copy for copy, like sing similar challenges, but I think again, you blood fresh things.
[1:02:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know.
[1:02:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, that was it guys.
[1:02:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, they left us on the cliffhanger.
[1:02:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They really pissed me off and it didn't put me in a good mood.
[1:02:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm just, you know, we are going to watch.
[1:02:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just feel like you don't need all those antics.
[1:02:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You don't need the cliffhanger.
[1:02:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If you're going to watch, you're going to watch.
[1:02:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This actually could put off people.
[1:02:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: as far as I'm concerned.
[1:02:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That's what I think is happening is that I think here's the thing is that I do enjoy it in the moment, but because they end on these cliffhangers, I leave with a foul taste in my mouth for something that I was enjoying in the moment, and then I'm like, ugh, and I can deal with a cliffhanger.
[1:02:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I've watched TV for a long time in life.
[1:02:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: but you do need some payoff or some satisfaction and like I said about last night losing mark was not like the excitement that we are all looking forward to.
[1:03:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[1:03:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Especially when, you know, someone like me, I'm just like manipulation, like give me a payoff, like let me just know what happens instead of me running crazy.
[1:03:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When you don't tell a story, you're going to make up your own story and then I'm just pissing myself with more.
[1:03:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're just going to be quite hilarious.
[1:03:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Because I think she was like, if it doesn't pay off to anything interesting, we're like, okay, you did this again for that.
[1:03:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like, just sometimes we do need a linear story.
[1:03:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We are like basic human beings and so are the people.
[1:03:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The people who are watching on NBC do probably prefer and want something that has a beginning in an end to an episode and like a formulaic approach and doing all these snazzy things is like not I don't think it's like as ideal for a general television audience it's like on peacock.
[1:03:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, if you expand the episode maybe 10 more minutes or give us two a week because like I haven't looked at the viewing guide.
[1:04:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Maybe I'll take a look to see what like what else is airing on NBC on Thursday that they're like we can't have this for another half hour.
[1:04:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's true.
[1:04:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like again, isn't it for one copying everyone, look at CBS?
[1:04:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They meet this 90 minutes.
[1:04:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, just, I don't know.
[1:04:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It just feels like a good way to feel it.
[1:04:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I just feel like it would fill time.
[1:04:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Isn't that like basically what they're having to do now?
[1:04:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's like, oh, we've got to fill it.
[1:04:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Then like do that.
[1:04:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like, okay, here's what I know is on Thursday nights.
[1:04:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Ghost, the spin-off to ghost, that's on CBS.
[1:04:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[1:04:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: this is on.
[1:04:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, but like I don't know like is there what is it?
[1:04:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Do you have to find another Chicago fire show on or something?
[1:04:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's their biggest show who cares.
[1:04:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's traders.
[1:04:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You're trying to build a new audience.
[1:04:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, everything that you can, you know, for that.
[1:04:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And the fact that they left it as a cliffhanger, knowing that this usually no payoff actually convinces me more that Victor is going to be banished.
[1:04:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, it's just like, yeah, because I remember it was just recently on an amazing race, they end on a cliffhanger and I was listening to RGP recap of it and they're like, yeah, it's going to be like the obvious ones who go home because like that's more interesting to like, to end on a cliffhanger because it seems exciting, but it's actually not.
[1:05:14] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's exactly who you thought it was going to be.
[1:05:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: every time there's a food race and amazing raising you're like who's gonna make who's got it's always who you think it's already who's ahead that's gonna make it to the map I won't spoil this week I don't know if you saw it or others I did I did I did I'm not gonna spoil it for anyone but I was so sad I was really hoping but the minute it was a food race I'm like I already know yeah not I have like love today they were like three teams that I'm invested in for
[1:05:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But you know what, they're blessed in life.
[1:05:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Honestly, they're just there.
[1:05:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The love was just through the screen.
[1:05:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, you know, shout out to them.
[1:05:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, Mel, I'm glad you got to do this.
[1:05:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: This was so fun.
[1:06:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And can I also on air.
[1:06:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Thank you because between you and another friend.
[1:06:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I finally dipped my toe into married at first sight.
[1:06:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: My life has changed, the sun is shining.
[1:06:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I can't even love his blind garbage in comparison.
[1:06:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Oh, God.
[1:06:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: By the way, I love him.
[1:06:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I've always said I'm not a fan.
[1:06:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But I had such a blast watching this season in Maridversite, which I know is not your favorite and you, I do need to probably get some guidance.
[1:06:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So when TV slows down, like I can go back and do it.
[1:06:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But I really enjoyed it.
[1:06:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I thought it was good casting.
[1:06:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Good drama.
[1:06:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, so thank you so much for pushing me to try some Meredith first time.
[1:06:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, you're welcome.
[1:06:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I got a new convert.
[1:06:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I mean, it was new for all of us to because it's the first time we're seeing this format and maybe that's what it is was just like, We'll have to use that do it too.
[1:06:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You said like, it wasn't my favorite season because I'm like a long time thing, but for yes, so it was us who haven't because I know like,
[1:06:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[1:06:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I then told a friend.
[1:06:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, I called several than another friend watched it.
[1:07:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Now she's telling her friends what so it.
[1:07:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, I think they did a good job of getting new people into it.
[1:07:08] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And it's funny that it's the same producers of love is blind because it's complete.
[1:07:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It just is such a whirlwind different show.
[1:07:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, that's why that's where I'm always intrigued with treat or Sue is that it's like all ladders up to like one same larger production thing obviously they leverage things, but the elements play out so different layer producers individuals reach country change some stuff up.
[1:07:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, their work is done because that is their goal.
[1:07:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That is exactly what they wanted.
[1:07:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was to get new people.
[1:07:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's almost like the lifetime version never existed or the previous first season on a peacock.
[1:07:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Poor guys never existed.
[1:07:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They chopped and screwed their season.
[1:07:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I would not recommend that season.
[1:07:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But if you are ready whenever you're ready, I got you.
[1:07:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When I'll tell you whatever you're in the mood for,
[1:07:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: with to watch.
[1:07:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Mel, do you have anything you want to plug?
