[0:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Here, with a brand new episode, and today I will be talking about the new Hulu show, The Mob.
[0:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's a solo episode today.
[0:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's only been two episodes on this show on Hulu, and I figured I would check it out to see if it was worth continuing or not.
[0:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Spoiler alert, I'm on the fence.
[0:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's not compelling enough, but there's enough that I could be swayed.
[0:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I could give it a chance to get better, but I mean, treat that all sounded conflicting, but it's not a no and it's not all the way.
[0:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, but I'm ready to talk about it today.
[0:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, who do I feel like has struggle to find its way when it comes to competitive reality shows?
[1:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, the competitive reality shows just come and go.
[1:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think Secret Life's a Mormon wife is the most successful like actually reality show and maybe the Kardashians, I think.
[1:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think they still get ratings.
[1:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I still want, got to get out to come back because I really liked that.
[1:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They could have just tweaked it.
[1:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And that went out the window.
[1:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They had the Virgin show.
[1:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That was one season long.
[1:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know what else they've had.
[1:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I was love overboard.
[1:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Was that a competitive reality show?
[1:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: way the way it seems to be like a one and done type situations with who do so I think they're still trying to figure out how they can dip their foot or feet into competitive reality shows and um the circle is going to come back.
[1:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I loved the circle.
[1:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I honestly cannot believe that Netflix cancel that show.
[1:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why?
[1:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He was a great show and it was fun and it was

[2:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So the premise of the show is 12 celebrity contestants that form what they call a family.
[2:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and they compete in like mob moving inspired like jobs and challenges and they can win up to $250,000 in cash prizes.
[2:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So it's very, like it's called the mob, the mob mafia code it type of situation.
[3:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So in each episode, the group elects someone called a Don.
[3:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The Don holds absolute power and they're able to distribute or withhold money and they decide who stays or in their words,
[3:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: basically eliminated.
[3:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's it.
[3:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I'll go through the 12 contestants that are going through and I'll share who I'm familiar with or who not.
[3:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So the first is William Belly from RuPaul's Drag Race.
[3:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I watched RuPaul's Drag Race and I'm like, why am I not familiar?
[3:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But it's because it's a season four.
[3:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I didn't start from the very beginning.
[3:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I'm not familiar with William Belly,
[3:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: fun, fun character.
[3:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I am enjoying the commentary and it just goes to show every time you cast someone from Drag Race on a show.
[3:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You're guaranteed to have like to shade the snark, the
[3:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: comic relief to funny like basically the funny person on there because so far I'm enjoying William Belly and it came in late with Debbie Maysar who you recognize from younger.
[4:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just remember as Rosie of Donald's one-time best no Madonna's one-time best friend she's an actress but um
[4:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, they came in much later in the challenge, which I will talk about.
[4:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We have Demi, Demi from the secret lives of Mormon wives.
[4:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Here's the thing about reality shows.
[4:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Once you make it in, all you really have to do is work hard to continue being on rotation.
[4:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: to get cast in other shows because it's just always work for you to do that.
[4:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think that's what Demi is doing.
[4:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And Demi is trying to prove like, I don't need you.
[4:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Security lies on more of my wife.
[4:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, I don't even know what's going on there.
[4:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I'm getting cast.
[4:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she's cast on this show.
[4:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's here to be the villain.
[4:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I believe Maria from the Bachelor.
[5:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I was like, again, I watched the Bachelor.
[5:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why am I not familiar with who Maria is?
[5:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think I suspected a Canadian accent.
[5:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's because she was in Joey season.
[5:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I did not watch Joey season.
[5:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not like, of course.
[5:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's the one season that I did not watch that she comes from then we have Joe Gorgah, where my bravo girl is at.
[5:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, this man is so perfectly cast for this show that
[5:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is great.
[5:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he's always like, make Eric the energy Joe has.
[5:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like he does not believe himself to be the background or the husband when he comes to real housewives with New Jersey.
[5:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So this is his chance.
[5:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is his chance to shine.
[5:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And this was a, I gotta say, a good pick for him to spread his wings.
[5:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then we have Harry Jellsey.
[5:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Harry Jellsey is like,
[5:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Should I call him the reality television or like he's everywhere like he'll just do anything like he's like I look up at my TV screen and I'm like, how is this man still getting cast like I'm actually surprised that he was not a married a first sight because at this point why not, but you may know him from perfect match may know him from let's marry Harry that's his most recent as a podcast also, but I think he was originally on too hot to handle and he's on the show.
[6:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We have Chelsea lascani from selling sunset, she's also like branching out since she's no longer going to be returning to selling sunset when the new season returns.
[6:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Uh, we have Bella Polk from Love overboard.
[6:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I did not watch that show.
[6:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So not familiar with who she is her persona, what she's bringing to the show.
[6:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We have Shane Parton.
[6:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It said the Bachelor.
[6:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like, okay.
[6:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm in Bachelor Nation.
[6:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Who is this guy?
[6:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know this guy.
[6:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why don't I know this guy?
[6:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's because he was on Taylor Frankie Paul season.
[6:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That never aired.
[6:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But
[6:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He made the final two spoiler alert.
[6:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know if it's ever going to be released, but he made the final two.
[6:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I guess some of us have had such a great personality that they're casting him off as a casting him in the spinoff because if you don't know who's with Disney, Disney, ABC, all the same family.
[7:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So they're rewarding him for something.
[7:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So now I wonder if he won't even see the season.
[7:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know how I don't think I do.
[7:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think I'm just intrigued as to how or why he got cast.
[7:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And the fact that they keep saying the bachelor and they never aired, like, how are we going to know that?

[7:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We have Romeo, he used to be a rapper, he used to be a little Romeo, he used to host X on the beach, he's master piece son, he's on here.
[7:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We have Bruno Tony Oli, yes, the judge from Dancing With The Stars is on a show called The Mob, where people compete for money.
[7:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's always weird to me when I have to watch a celebrity show or they're competing for money and it's not going to charity because I don't know.
[7:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think I assume they have money, but not everybody has money.
[7:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I know that.
[7:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's levels.
[7:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean enough money.
[7:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then we have Ada Tuturo from the Subprados.
[8:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She was Tony Sister.
[8:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She played Tony Sister on here.
[8:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, how did they get this group of people?
[8:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hosted by Parker Posey, which again is a shocker to me because I'm like, is it not crazy?
[8:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: that we live in a time where actors are fine, hosting competition shows, it's all the rage.
[8:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We have Jane Lynch, we have Rob Lowe, we have them everywhere, Jamie Fox, Jamie Fox and Oscar winner, like there was a time in the world where you couldn't even catch film actors in the same vicinity as TV actors.
[8:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And now all the film actors moved on to TV acting, everyone's mingling in the same,
[8:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: competitive reality shows and competition shows and all of the things.
[8:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So now we have Fakapozi hosting the mob.
[8:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And the thing is, I will put the mob in the same cast at, in the same, I guess, group as anyone who watched the goat that was an Amazon Prime or House of Villains, where they're like, campy game shows that don't take themselves seriously.
[9:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like,
[9:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, they are low brow is why I want to say, and that's where I would really put the mob.
[9:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So to see Parker Pelosi here, I don't know, maybe I'm the one who's reading it wrong.
[9:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maybe it's a bit, but either way, my point is we're in a time where...
[9:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's okay, and actors are fine, hosting competition shows.
[9:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So this show is actually shot in Italy, and as you can tell by the different cast members, some of them are, I think they try to cast people with Italian backgrounds, but maybe like scheduling, the whole mix, it would just like gave that up, and they were like, okay, we're just going to
[9:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: you know, go with what we have.
[9:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I think that people we have who have like some Italian connection, we have Joe Gorga.
[9:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maria's last name.
[9:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maria, it's spelled G-E-O-R-G-A-S.
[9:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know if it's kind of close to Joe Gorga.
[9:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Gorga's, but just with an S, William Belly, we have Debbie Mazar, and we have Bruno Tonyoli and then Ada Tuturu.
[10:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I think that's about half the
[10:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: with Italian backgrounds.
[10:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But at the same time, I'm still marveled at the fact like, how do you sell a show like this to Bruno Tanioli?
[10:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Again, connected with ABC because he's on dancing with the stars.
[10:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I did just trying to keep you with the family.
[10:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But he could just be looking for something fun, like a fun project to do.
[10:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And as we see, he's very expressive.
[10:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So maybe they just wanted him to bring that energy over to the show.
[10:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: um seeing Chelsea from selling sunset in flats was so weird to me.
[10:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I was just so confused.
[10:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I wasn't sure what to do with that because if you watch selling sunset, part of the hidden character, or the unnamed human, on human character, I think this is hard.
[10:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: A whole character in here is like the passions.
[10:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They were the most ridiculous things, and
[11:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Chelsea was one of them.
[11:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She pushed her fashion boundaries.
[11:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Me not always be good looks, but she pushed it.
[11:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So to see her in like a simple dress and flats, I don't know what to do with that.
[11:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But it was smart because they went straight into a challenge and they had to run around and do things.
[11:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So doing that in heels would not have made the most sense.
[11:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I would take a break here and then I will come back and describe what the challenge was.
[11:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, I'm back.
[11:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So now, the challenge Parker Poseys here describing everything to them and things that they have to do.
[11:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So it's all very exaggerated.
[11:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's all very leaning into the mob, my few movies, and she's telling them that they have a problem, they have to get rid of the problems, the problems are in the cars, the split into two crews, and each crew has a couple.
[11:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and they're like, okay, who volunteers to be the couple for each team?
[11:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Harry immediately raises his hand and was like, I'm it and decides that he's going to be the couple and Joe is the couple for the other crew.
[12:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So the way the challenge works was like, they have clues to like a lockbox,
[12:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And when they get the clues, you have to look around, it's like it looked like a junkyard.
[12:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So there's a whole bunch of cars, there's a whole bunch of items, there's a whole bunch of things that they have to look through to find the clues.
[12:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then among the clues and among everything in there is cash that it's envelopes.
[12:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's like whoever is the fastest who can go through all that, find the key, get the cars started and get the car blown up and it's fastest they get to win.
[12:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: power.
[12:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, along the way, when everybody's running, he held to scale there, just trying to figure out what's going on, trying to fight the clues, trying to get the locks open.
[12:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They start hearing voices in the car, so each team has an additional person.
[12:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: that has been added to their team that wasn't there in the beginning.
[12:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So for one team, it was William Belly that joined, and then the other was Debbie Mazar.
[13:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And for me, I felt like there was not enough recognition when Debbie Mazar was found.
[13:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like it wasn't like, oh my god, it's Debbie Mazar.
[13:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was just like, okay, we got a new person that's joining.
[13:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, it's just always hurts my soul when there's somebody who I think is like, bigger name and people are just like, blank stare, who's that, like, what do you mean?
[13:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maybe I'm just showing my age.
[13:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I was automatically rooting for Joe's team.
[13:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, yeah, Bravo.
[13:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, how swipes.
[13:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I was hoping that they would win.
[13:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Harry's team was ahead, they got all the things, and then they got stumped by an old school lock as Joe was going to call it.
[13:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They could not figure out how to open that lock.
[13:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think Bella thought that she knew Omeria.
[13:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: One of them thought that she knew what to do because it was like the locker that she used in high school, but it was not working.
[13:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And Joe was like, this is where I get to shine because he got to know the old school lock.
[13:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And even though there were behind,
[13:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: get the numbers right and they win the challenge.
[14:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So as the winner, Joe decides who gets a cut and he will choose one person to cut out forever.
[14:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And the way the rules work, the final dawn decides who leaves here with 100,000 cash, whether they share or not share and it was given the challenge.
[14:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like in the most recent challenge,
[14:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The captain that they had at the end was going to decide how much each person was going to get like I said Joe was perfectly cast for this like again it's exaggerated they have to act like they're really in the mob it's really the family they really got rid of a problem and I don't think Joe Gorgan has ever been happier in his life like this is what he was born to do.
[14:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He dresses the part, he talks the part, and he's really in character with this.
[14:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So some people have history.
[14:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Harry and Demi know each other.
[15:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Harry has been on secret life's of Mormon wives.
[15:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think he came in as Taylor's friend, just like, I think it was like a cameo or something.
[15:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And, you know, he and to me are going after each other.
[15:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's like, I know the secret lies with Mormon wife girls.
[15:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They all hate to me, the me is a liar, I don't trust her.
[15:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And the me feels the same way.
[15:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's just like, you know, I know how it doesn't like me.
[15:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I think he's going to be going after me.
[15:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So that's uh...
[15:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: what was going on with that and they were just talking about in the confessional about what they're going to do and how they're going to go after each other.
[15:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I think they're just filling everything out and just feeling like how the game was going to go.
[15:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So during the challenge based on Joe's commentary, just watching like
[15:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: who worked and who was hardworking and who was smart.
[15:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I think Joe was making observations.
[15:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And in this one, Joe did participate in the challenge.
[16:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He did not have any respect for Bella, who was from love overboard, because he just felt like she had no idea what was going on and what was happening.
[16:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think Joe is like, he's as old school as a joke, but he is old school, where he just thinks like, and he's a
[16:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What is it that your construction?
[16:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think he works in that or builder.
[16:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he's like the get your hands dirty kind of guy and he appreciates that.
[16:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he already had Bill on his radar and just based on that challenge.
[16:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And like I knew ahead of time, but spoiler alert, I just kind of knew that Bella was who was gonna go home, based on that.
[16:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So since he won, he gets to go into like an office and that's how each and everybody come, they have to actually like kiss the ring and everything like I said, they're really deep in character.
[16:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he goes in and sits in an office and each person comes in, has a conversation
[16:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's kind of like if you watch a big brother like you had a household, you're trying to get information and to use it for future decisions that you are going to make.
[17:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Debbie Mayzard and like I said, jogue or a deep in character, Jackson actor.
[17:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she knows what to do.
[17:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Joe has to decide like of the envelopes I were found who he was going to give the money to.
[17:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think each envelope had like $5,000 and who was going to give it to.
[17:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The first person he calls was Demi.
[17:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So when Demi has his conversation with Demi, Demi is already talking smack about Harry trying to get him out and things like that.
[17:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he decides that he's going to have Demi in his back pocket.
[17:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Demi is sitting in a group, she's with
[17:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Bruno and I don't remember who she was and Jo comes out and asks her to have a conversation.
[17:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I thought they even turned the corner and went somewhere else but honestly they weren't the line of vision of the rest of them so they could see everything that was happening and I'm like is that a production call because that's not smart.
[17:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she's out there having conversations he's saying like if you're good to me I'll be good to you he they want he wants to
[18:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, Demi's just like, you know, he's the couple right now.
[18:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I have to be on his good side.
[18:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She does give her the $5,000, but she's wearing like a cat's who is nowhere to hide it.
[18:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, there's no pockets, there's no cleavage, there's nothing.
[18:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's nowhere for her to hide it, and it's like in a brown,
[18:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: envelope.

[18:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's like, I'm going to give this back to you, but I'll get it back from you later.
[18:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then, you know, Joe is like, okay, that was smart.
[18:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I do think that was smart.
[18:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Giving the money back and saying, like, I'll come get it from you, but I have to pretend so they don't know.
[18:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Joe does put her in a bind by saying, like, I don't want you to tell people don't tell people what's going to let's keep it between us.
[18:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But
[18:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know, something about this scene just made me think like I'm fully expecting her to be in house of villains.
[18:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If that show comes back, I think that she would be on that show, you know?
[18:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So...
[19:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: she goes back to the group and the group is asking her like oh what was that about was it good she's like oh it's not bad and they're like okay what happened she's like oh nothing really nothing like that's important and they're like where you told not to say anything and she's just kind of gave it away and then you know some people are suspicious of her and someone like it is like kind of like innocent and she's like oh you can't say anything you know about that.
[19:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All right, so the way, I mean, he, Joe does go around his rounds.
[19:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We'll get some money, Chelsea also get some money, Debbie got money, and...
[19:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Who else got money?
[19:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think William Belly also got money.
[19:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think Joe's plan was just to keep this people, again, in his back pocket.
[19:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think he played it really well.
[19:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think he gave, you know, the right people, the money, and people he just wants people who can do well in challenges.
[19:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So like if he's not the couple, then, you know, he's still in their good graces and they'll remember that he was good to them and people who can feed him information.
[19:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So the way you find out who is eliminated is like there's going to be a family meeting so they have this place and like a huge living room or something and everyone just walks into the family meeting and then they do this big deal like of the last two people who are walking in.
[20:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: except that they don't know if they're walking into the main house or they're walking into some basement looking type room on their kind of like traitors at the breakfast where everyone's there.
[20:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We know who the three possible murders are going to be and then we just wait for them to walk into the breakfast and see who was that was like eliminated.
[20:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then if you don't show up, then we realize that you're the person that was whacked.
[20:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Just as I suspected earlier, based on the comments, Joe was making about Bella and Bella also fully saying that she's good.
[20:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She feels like she's good and she's completely fine.
[20:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Bella was the person that was whacked.
[20:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's just like, what did I do?
[20:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why would he choose me?
[20:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because, you know, reality TV, nobody wants to be the first person that goes home.
[20:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, when they're there, people are asking about, you know, what happened to the money, he can also kick up one envelope for himself as well.
[21:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, what happens to the money, and I don't know if anyone else caught that, but he said, the money got disparated to people.
[21:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know if he meant like dispersed or given, but disperse it.
[21:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I was like, that was funny.
[21:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No one says anything.
[21:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, Harry says he's so sure that he gave to me money and he just he just really hates to me and he's really going for her.
[21:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know how much of it is genuine dislike for Demi or playing up to the show because, you know, he's a professional reality show person.
[21:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, Chelsea and Harriet friends.
[21:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know if it's the Netflix connection, but they say they've been friends for like five years.
[21:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, it could be the Netflix.
[21:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It could be the British connection.
[21:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So they're talking and he's saying all the things about to me and then she shared for him that she got five thousand dollars.
[21:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's like, she's not telling anyone, but she's telling him because they're friends and he's like, yeah.
[21:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I think that's a smart thing.
[21:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I do think Chelsea is playing, right?
[21:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, she's just understanding everything.
[22:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's like, she's noticing everything.
[22:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's playing both sides.
[22:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And, you know, she's just going to move along and stay in good with Joe.
[22:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think it's a good thing not to show so strongly that she and Harry are friends.
[22:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because I don't know how much people know.
[22:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: about that.
[22:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They didn't say anything about that in the confessional, but you know, based on what we know they're friends, but it doesn't really come across with the scenes that they're showing us.
[22:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, they come to the, um,
[22:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: next challenge, and I don't know, Parker Posey has decided that her fashion style in the show is going to be like a fortune teller, like she was a turban, she was a long flowy gowns and I don't know, it's an interesting choice.
[22:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we learned that the dawn doesn't get to do the challenges, like they just are going to be the dawn until maybe they're voted out.
[22:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Instead, the dawn has to assign roles.
[22:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: because they have to feel all these bottles of wine and they're different things that they have to do.
[23:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So they have to collect the graves, they have the runners, which I think he gives to Shane and Harry, and then they have people that stump on the graves.
[23:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I think Debbie did that, and maybe Bruno, and then they have people who were getting it into the classes, and then they had the bottlers, which was Chelsea.
[23:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and Romeo, I'm putting in the bottles and that to do it with a certain time.
[23:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I do think like they have the fake traders clock going also because they made it just in the nick of time, but Joe just gets their assigned roles and then goes to the office and then waits and gets to get news from people.
[23:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I don't know that's a good thing or a bad thing because you don't get to be in the mix, but I think it allows for story telling in that people can come up with strategy knowing
[23:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Joe is reliant or whatever he's fed.
[23:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So if people decide to lie, how do you verify?
[23:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: How do you know who's lying to you?
[23:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I can understand why they're not making him in the mix and being in the competition because it just allows to open up the story and it allows for people's different strategy.
[24:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So um, the show does have
[24:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: to me what plague's most competition shows is that to me I just sometimes feel like the men have the advantage due to physical prowess not because the women aren't capable but sometimes the other okay like say for example Joe is in power and he's just thinking like listen if I need to Harry's like what six or six five I don't know he's so tall and just a big
[24:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's like if I need to More down something and he's very athletic I'm just gonna have Harry do the job and to actually win stuff You know for us and that's what they're thinking and then you're going to the shows and they keep the bros because they're the people Same thing with Shane, you know, and that's why he had them as a runner They had the wheelbarrow, they got all the grapes, the bunches of grapes and things like that
[25:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it just felt like they have that elimination, especially for someone like Joe, who is judging people on how much work that they can do, like, who's if you are like a work horse, Joe is going to reward you not everyone is not going to think that way, but I'm just saying for example, even think of survivor where this is why the three tripe thing sucks because the men don't get voted out because of what we need to win challenges and we need to keep people like, you know,
[25:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The Brody is Brady's, whatever his name is right now, and the Ori is because they're so big and strong and they can do the things like, you know, it might take more people to do but they can do it by themselves.
[25:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, this is, remember that season with Jonathan, when he single-handedly just carried everything by himself, things like that is where I feel like these competition shows sometimes, it just gives them that advantage.
[25:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But let me know what you think, but that's just my thought, like sometimes I just think we need things that are like,
[25:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: level that even now even the playing field in that way.
[26:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So when Joe tries to get information as to, you know, what happened out there who was working, who wasn't, and Harry goes in there, he's had a conversation with Maria.
[26:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he tries to lie about Demi, but it's a terrible plan because it's so obvious.
[26:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, I think Harry needed to bite his time.
[26:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, yes, you can go ahead and, you know, plan this retaliation against Demi, Demi, and whatever, but not yet.
[26:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, it's too soon to pull the trigger.
[26:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, and the thing is, I don't-
[26:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't even know how much of it is showmanship or how much of it is real because to me, how he does this shows just for the fun of it.
[26:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, he's rich.
[26:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He wasn't a podcast once talking about how much he made for different shows and all the things.
[26:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, I don't think he needs the money as such, so it's just for fun that he's doing this.
[26:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, I mean, I don't know guess it's doing what he's paid to do.
[26:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, in this case, to me is at this point, basically trapped because she gets it this week, she gets another envelope that they didn't do so well, well, they only got certain bottles, and I think they were only four envelopes to give out.
[27:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Jo kept two for himself.
[27:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Marie is just pissed off at this point because she's like she thought like she works so hard and then she makes a comment like um I don't know if you work so hard how Demi's hair is still intact and still looks great and fabulous if you work hard it's not going to be that way.
[27:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She felt like she works so hard and she deserves to get money but she did not get the money and that is pissing her off.
[27:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then Harry just stokes the fire.
[27:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think he lets her know that Demi probably got an envelope from him because he asked he actually asked Joe that, you know, who you give me a money to and he does mention that he was giving me to Demi.
[27:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he thinks something is cooking.
[27:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he's trying to get an alliance going.
[27:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and getting Maria in shame to go home that they need to take Joe out, that they need to vote to figure out how to get them out.
[28:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Demise also close to Bruno, and Demise and Bruno think that they have Chelsea on their side, and Chelsea is relaying that information to Joe, like, hey,
[28:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm just going with the wind, my allegiance is just to you, the dawn, and I have nothing like I said.
[28:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's playing very well because I don't even think that anyone else knows how close she used to joe as well.
[28:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Everyone kind of knows that Denise and his pocket no pun intended.
[28:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: but I don't think they know about Chelsea.
[28:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she's able to move with the wind and go ahead with that.
[28:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But Denise basically traps because she's feeding him information.
[28:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They have to do all this stuff.
[28:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She cannot mention anything and it feels like she's being shady because people keep asking her and she keeps saying, oh, I can't talk about it.
[28:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But she's also trying to be loyal to Joe.
[28:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I think she's feeling trapped.
[28:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But
[28:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think this let her be the free food villain that she naturally is and that's what's kind of going to make for a fun show for her.
[29:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then Parker positaus them like you know tonight they get to decide if they want to vote Joe off or not, if they want to have a new couple and Joe is kind of worried about that because he doesn't know how it will go.
[29:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think the only people who really ready to vote
[29:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Harry, Shane, and Maria, but also they're saying it.
[29:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Are they actually going to do it?
[29:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Everyone else that we saw is thinking like, I don't know, I'm good with Joe, so why would I vote him out?
[29:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And that would be the Chelsea's.
[29:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know where, Bretting, Bruno, also sense the same way, Debbie also, William Belly is just thinking that he didn't get a lot of money this week, so what does that mean?
[29:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Loyal to him.
[29:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think Joe is still going to stay at least one more week.
[29:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't think that that's any reason to vote him out now And I don't think and that's the thing that Harry doesn't realize like if you don't have enough votes I don't know why you're pulling that trigger you have to be sure you have to give enough time for people to be disgruntled by Joe And then it'll be easier to convince them
[30:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, I don't know the DNA of this show.
[30:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's just my guess out of all this two episodes that we've seen that that would be the best play for right now.
[30:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, I don't know if Maria is unhappy that she didn't get an envelope or mad that Domega an envelope.
[30:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's, that's two completely different things.
[30:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I don't know which is which.
[30:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think Joe is being fair.
[30:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think the way Joe works is just like if you don't work hard enough because now I think his choices are Bruno.
[30:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Bruno because he feels like because somebody had said like he was slacking or Ada because Ada was just running around just yelling we should do this we should do that and to me I think he might cut out Ada which again goes back to what I was saying where the women It's unfair where the men get that disadvantage because
[31:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's feeling like, oh, if she's not working, if that's what I'm hearing, he's going to cut her and then that'll be two women in a row who's being cut out, you know, so we'll see, but the other side of it is like, Chelsea kind of made a case saying like the me and Bruno are a duo and Joe is like, you know, if you have any duels, you got to cut them out, like, I don't know why they're together.
[31:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just don't know if you pulled the trigger to do that because
[31:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Joe is kind of with him.
[31:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm Bruno is kind of with him.

[31:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like I didn't see him enough in a confessional.

[31:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I didn't see him strategizing.
[31:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know who he's close to.
[31:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I don't know what's up with that, but they need to do better with that.
[31:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They left us in the cliffhanger.
[31:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we have no idea who he's gonna get cut, but we did get some previews coming up later.
[32:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and so more and we see that Demi is like she's ready to flip and she's ready to vote Joe out so it's going to be interesting to see how the voting is going to be and you know again i'm rooting for Chelsea because Chelsea's playing the long game.
[32:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The whole goal is like you want to be the one that's the couple at the end so you don't necessarily have to be couple now if you watch um million dollar secret that's the thing like you want to have the briefcase at the end
[32:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she's just biting her time and making sure at the end then she will just decide what people just trust her and be like, hey, you should just vote me because I got you.
[32:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Right now.
[32:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So everyone's gunning to be the last couple so they'll be the one who decides who gets the money.
[32:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: On the flip side, if someone like Harry gets it, you know, that man don't care.
[32:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maybe he'll be a villain and do the Johnny Binanas and take all the money and not share it.
[32:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So,
[32:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: At the end of the day, what would I rate this show in a skill of 1 to 10?
[32:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'll say maybe a 6.

[33:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The other who he shows where the juice is there, the groundwork is there, all the ingredients are there.

[33:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So there's so much content out there right now that I don't know if I'm gonna have time to continue, but I am curious to see who he gets out and I am curious to see how it plays out and if they get to vote out Joe and who ends up being the last couple.
