## Transcript

[0:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hi everybody, welcome to another episode of Tain Talks.
[0:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm your host, Tain.
[0:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I am talking on a colored administered, not a full episode because I will be talking about the map season 20 sneak peak that is up on peacock.
[0:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's like a seven minute sneak peak and I honestly think it's going to be
[0:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: part of the premiere, like basically seven minutes of what we're going to see of the premiere.
[0:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Let me rewind first.
[0:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: In case you haven't heard, this is for people who are not chronically online.
[0:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maps is coming back for its 20th season, and it's still going to be on P-Cock because they've signed, I think, in that excited deal with P-Cock, so the last season was on P-Cock, and we are going to do the same.
[0:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I think this is the first fully,
[0:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Peacock produced season where, you know, I think the last one was filmed for a lifetime, and, you know, it's going to be different.
[1:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because all the experts that we know are gone, there's no Dr. PN, no Dr. Pepper, no Pastor Cal.
[1:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It is a brand new
[1:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: a new era.
[1:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And, you know, I'd love to know what people think, but I do think it's kind of divided.
[1:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think half the people are like excited because we have been talking about a refresh.
[1:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But again, I feel like last season was the refresh kind of because we have the experts that, you know, we know and love.
[1:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And we just had a different
[1:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: process, I guess.
[1:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was because we were streaming it.
[1:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was coming in multiple episodes.
[1:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Some people said it was rushed, but it was different.
[1:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So this time it is going to be different.
[1:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We have seven couples.
[1:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I believe in new experts and it might be a new format.
[1:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We don't even know.
[1:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: anything that's coming on it, the only thing that was shared, I think it was an us weekly of people magazine, and also shout out to MassFans, she always shares the first, we know the people that are going to be coupled together.
[2:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe MassFans told us who's coupled together, but maybe, um,
[2:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The magazine premiere was just telling us who the people are going to be that are going to be matched for the episode so it's weird because we have the premiere on July 12 and then we have episode 2 and 3 on the 16 so I think Thursdays is going to be Thursdays, but they have
[2:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: the premiere episode on a Sunday on the 12th, I don't know if it's because that's when the finale of Love Island is getting some of that leading audience, I don't know, or maybe sort of like a matchmaking special, meet the people type thing, I don't know what the idea is, but that's what it is.
[2:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We haven't also really gotten like an official schedule, but again, that's
[2:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: in terms of like the scheduled premiere is on the 12th and subsequently I don't know how many episodes it is going to be Thursdays but so far it looks like it's going to be three episodes every Thursday after that.
[3:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So like I said, there's going to be two new experts.
[3:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I will tell you a little bit about them.
[3:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It is Paul Branson.
[3:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's the first one.
[3:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: A little bit about him is that sometimes I go way way
[3:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, he hosted a show with co-hosted a show called Love Town USA and it was a show where everyone in the small town like in Georgia got involved in like some social experiments where Paul and his co-host were trying to like mend relationships between like friends between
[3:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: romantic relationships as well as finding love for people who are single all within the the little town in Georgia he is currently I want to say best known I guess arguably has a podcast called we need to talk.
[3:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: where he interviews various people about their life, including like a lot of reality TV people and including love Islanders.
[4:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He was recently an expert.
[4:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's been an expert on maps UK.
[4:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he is based in the UK.
[4:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know now that is an expert for the US maps.
[4:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If he's moved over here, I don't know.
[4:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But he was an expert for maps UK and celebs go dating.
[4:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Which, again, if you're watching 90 day fiance, Dr. Tara, who I mentioned, I think I mentioned that in the last week up to she's the sex therapist.
[4:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's also at therapy is for celebs go dating um you may not have heard but maps UK for now is temporary on pause.
[4:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: because there were accusations of sexual assault from some of the brides on there, so everything was shut down, including like taking off streaming.
[4:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I don't know what the end result of that is going to be, but um, and one of the other experts, Mel Shilling, was also an expert on Marida for a site Australian.
[4:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She is Australian, but she was an expert on the UK, and sadly, she passed away from cancer a few months ago.
[5:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I think Mafz UK is either
[5:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: done for good or on ice, but either way, it just means that Paul has my time and Paul is going to be an expert.
[5:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Now, he is also the global relationships science expert at Tinder on there and all that to say that he has a pretty solid resume like he's coming with experience like he's been matchmaking
[5:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: for a while and he talks about relationships with people and, you know, talks with couples, single people, so he is coming with a backup resume.
[5:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Now Paul looks really good and looks really young, but he is 51, contrary to how he looks, he is 51.
[5:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So
[5:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hopefully he is coming with wisdom, you know, with age comes with wisdom.
[5:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he's coming with that.
[5:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's married to his college sweetheart.
[5:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He doesn't talk a lot about her, but he has shared in the last few months, like she is currently going through some health issues.
[5:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Unless I missed it, I don't know what exactly it is about, but he has talked about her having surgery and how seriously was not knowing what the outcome would be and she's getting.
[6:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: better slowly and surely so all the good juju to him and his family and hope she gets Wilson.
[6:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But yes, that's it about Paul.
[6:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Paul, I'm familiar with, I know about him.
[6:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he's bringing his experience over here.
[6:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Now Lisa Paz, I am not familiar with her at all.
[6:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The only thing I saw about her is that she is a Miami-based couple's counsellor and sex therapist, and that's it.
[6:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I do find it interesting that we are going from three experts to two, why that was the call because when we had three experts, it was hard enough to get them to fly there and be there, you know, with the people when they needed.
[6:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: man down.
[6:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: How are we going to handle this?
[6:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But again, maybe the format is different.
[6:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I don't know what the format is going to be.
[7:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And maybe they do not need three.
[7:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But even the UK versions, the Australian versions have always had three.
[7:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I am curious as to why we are down to two, which is a shame though, because, you know, Dr. Pepper would have been on call.
[7:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She lives in Seattle and this is how backyard.
[7:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, you know, we've been joking.
[7:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Where is Dr. Pepper
[7:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Casey Ross and Ra.
[7:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, like I said, we have more couples.
[7:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And the last time I had Jason on during 90 day fiancee, we had speculated if they were going to go the international route where for those who don't know, marriage at first sight, married at first sight, Australia, what they do is it's not a legally binding marriage.
[7:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You have a commitment ceremony.
[7:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They may get seem like it's a wedding, but it's a more of a commitment ceremony.
[7:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And every week you have a dinner,
[7:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: with all the couples come together and the experts are just watching through the screen and allegedly finding out information for the first time.
[8:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So that's the other thing I'm also curious about, is
[8:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: In the past, right?
[8:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The experts in the US version have always made it clear like, hey, we get a briefing every day.
[8:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We know what's going on.
[8:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We're aware of what's going on.
[8:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But based on if they're going to go the Australia route, they'll always like, oh gosh, this happened.
[8:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh wow, it looks like they had a hard week.
[8:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Are they going to do that?
[8:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is there going to be a daily briefing?
[8:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Or are they going to find out things during the dinner?
[8:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If they do do the dinner?
[8:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So yes, we have the dinner.
[8:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then after the dinner, there's a commitment ceremony.
[8:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: that's where all the couples are together and they meet with the experts and then they sit on the couch, they go through their week, they go through their wringer, everyone talks about it, then at the end you decide if you want to stay or if you want to leave.
[8:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: As long as one person writes stay,
[8:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: the couples have to stay.
[8:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If both right leave, then they have to leave.
[8:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I don't know if they have enough couples to do this because if it's seven, usually the Australians, they have like 11 or more, they start with about
[9:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: nine and then later they add like three more couples that people who come in later and they say they do that Because they want to shake things up for the older couples that I've already started to journey give them a new perspective or remind them of you know when they first started and why they're doing this so I don't know
[9:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If, like Jason said, if we're going to get more people afterwards, and it's going to be like 10 couples, but somehow I think it's just going to be this 7, but again, we don't know anything and we don't know what the format is going to be.
[9:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I feel wary that we have a three time reality show person cast and I'm just wondering what the angle is, what is it about Nick that got him cast if we are actually getting a matchmaking special then.
[9:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It'll be interesting to see if they talk about why.
[9:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And even if they wanted to cast a reality vet, why Nick, I think is my question for those who are curious, that shows that he's been on his battle camp.
[10:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: the circle and perfect match.
[10:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So perfect match is the only dating show that he's been on I don't think he did so well on that but the rest he did do well on because he's a very good he's a smart person and he's good at the competitive reality shows.
[10:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But this is the thing and this is why I don't understand.
[10:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I have mentioned how I was disappointed in last season.
[10:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I thought moving to
[10:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maybe this is too big of a reach, but catapult are showing to the zeitgeists, but there was nothing, like you just felt like there wasn't even a drop in the ocean, like you didn't do what I thought it would do, and I don't know if there was enough like promo for it, and even with this.
[10:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The show premieres on July 12th.
[10:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Around that same time, love is blind after the altar, UK is premiering.
[11:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The ultimatum is premiering and I'm just, she didn't we space this out to give some of these shows like shans.
[11:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know but I don't get paid the big the big bucks to think about this but these are the things I think about because I just want to show for everyone to experience it and
[11:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: it seems like it had more eyes on it when it was on lifetime than now that it's on streaming with peacock you know so I don't know I hope they also do better because I think there's something to be said about not having the cast like be open and social media and talk about it but I don't know if they seem to be able to
[11:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: talk about it.
[11:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I just feel like what a cool moment.
[11:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We don't have that anymore.
[11:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maybe we just throw it out there.
[11:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We got a lot of people and I understand these are real people in their real lives, but we got a lot of people in their land and season where Chris was on because the clips are just going around.
[11:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I don't even think we had any for last season.
[11:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So
[12:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We'll see.
[12:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All right.
[12:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This season is based in Seattle, Washington, and remember that we have had a loveous blind season there.
[12:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's the season.
[12:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We've got, I hope I'm right.
[12:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We got Zach and Bliss.
[12:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We got Kwame and Chelsea and Brett and Tiffany.
[12:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But what I also remember that there weren't enough people in Seattle that we had to kind of stretch it out to Portland to get some people out there.
[12:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I don't know if that's going to be the case to you.
[12:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: where there's going to be some people coming from Portland and I say this because then we should expect the argument of who's going to move because I live in Seattle who's making the sacrifice and you know things like that.
[12:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we're starting the sneak peek with Marissa who is 30 saying that she loves love and has been to six weddings alone this year.
[12:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We see her in a car.
[12:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's been
[12:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Uh, does not look like a Bachelor of App and I noticed that one of the women said they did blur out her faces and I'm wondering why because it was only Um, cast members like it was only bright.
[13:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They were there.
[13:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then we see Felipe who is 29.
[13:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's a restaurant manager saying that he wasn't always Disattractive and mind-trusive thoughts are like who says they were now like
[13:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: who starts an intro like I am like she just gave yourself like I wasn't always distracted with all confidence that.
[13:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Everyone agrees with you that you are right now.
[13:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean he might be maybe he is, you know, for he guys you let me know He says he's always been an ego most of his life ugly Is what that means, but you know, he's a working out He tanned he took accutane and then he got his teeth whiten and that's when he learned that women are just as shallow as men Because ever since then he's been getting hit on nonstop guys
[13:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: My meters is is is is tingling is going off and my eyebrows are raised on this one because One a self-professed ugly duckling turns swan
[14:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: might still be working through some things.
[14:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know if he's worked through the things, but I don't want to say he's a late bloomer, but he just discovered his hotness recently.
[14:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So has he gotten everything out of his system and caught up a made up for last time, according to him, that's why my meter is tingling.
[14:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And also, just his intro just has me like, who anyone who's like talking about, oh, I want to settle down, this is it.
[14:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is that?
[14:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is that how you started, again, I know the producers might have asked him a question and that's what he's answering and they're trying to create his persona, but I don't know.
[14:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Still has me raising my eyebrows at him.
[14:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he walks into the quote unquote bachelor party and he meets Adam who's 31 and Mecca.
[14:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Adam says he's from the Pacific Northwest.
[15:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Say the state that you're from.
[15:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why is he saying Pacific Northwest?
[15:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So if you're from the area, let me know.
[15:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What does that mean?
[15:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So right off the bat, I will say that this is similar to Masal Australia because the night before they start the weddings, we see the brides and the grooms all separated, of course, just all meeting each other and they should drink.
[15:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're just having drinks and they're just chitchatting about how they're here.
[15:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're past dating life and all that.
[15:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So in this case, so far, it is similar and we see the cars.
[15:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: like they all coming to the cocktail situation, meet all the other Verizon groups separately, we see them coming their cars, and during their car ride is when we hear all their like sub stories, sorry, their life stories on there.
[15:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so far, that's what we're seeing on this naked.
[15:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Felipe starts talking to the other guys, says that he was born in Brazil, but moved to the state when he was six.
[15:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What happens here is that when we started, it was three men, like I said, it was Felipe, Adam, and Mecca, then as the scene keeps coming back to them, just more men just keep popping up.
[16:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's like, walk a mole and the mole just keeps popping up, so men just keep being added on there.
[16:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then we see Devin, Devin says he plays professional rugby.
[16:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He looks so familiar, but I have checked everything and I don't know even for anything, but I don't know why.
[16:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: apparently not.
[16:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maybe he just looks like somebody else.
[16:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So then they're asking each other, what do you do?
[16:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What do you do?
[16:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Mecha says, I clean Porter potty's and everyone's like, whoa, really?
[16:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Wow.
[16:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think they're just shocked when that was their reaction.
[16:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think Mecha's an attractive man.
[16:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I will say that he has two of my no-nose.
[16:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He has corn rows in 2026.
[16:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know when it was filmed.
[16:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: 2025, whatever it was, you shouldn't have corn rows.
[16:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he has dangly earrings.
[16:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know.
[16:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know.
[16:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I will see what happens.
[16:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I will not judge a book by its cover, but we'll have dangley earrings, and that's all I'm going to say.
[16:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he's 28.
[17:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says it's not glamorous work, but someone's got to do it.
[17:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I do have to tell you guys that he's dangley earrings is Coco Chanel.
[17:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's the CC that's on there that is dangling from his ear.
[17:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Are they real?
[17:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Are they not?
[17:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You guys tell me?
[17:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know.
[17:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I can't tell.
[17:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Felipe says he runs an Italian restaurant downtown and I was like, wait, he's title card says like he's a manager, but I mean, I guess he could manage your own restaurant, but later on we find out he does own the restaurant and he says he wants a wife who appreciates that he works hard, but likes to party a lot.
[17:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: guys.
[17:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Another thing that I'm noticing is we are getting a mix of professions like in the past in Marida for a site.
[17:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'll say we had more like white colored jobs but in this case I think we're seeing like blue colored jobs involved here and
[17:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know how that's going to work with the women because I think we're noticing that the women have, like, from what I'm seeing is like senior marketing manager, HR lead a program manager, and I'm like, listen, there's nothing wrong with any job.
[18:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: that anyone wants to do.
[18:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I'm like, are we now setting them up where finances and careers are going to be mismatched?
[18:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because that's a setup.
[18:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Anyone remember a part of what, you know, Michelle from the Chicago season that was like, oh, is David going to be able to afford the lifestyle?
[18:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Do you remember Lindsay and Mark Deschark?
[18:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, it was just completely different.
[18:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I don't want to case where someone is just like, well, I make more money or finances and things.
[18:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then from jump, that's a hill that
[18:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: or a hump that they're not able to get over.
[18:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think that, you know, where I'm coming from, that being said, I don't know how much, you know, some of these make as a career.
[18:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's just something that I was noticing on there.
[18:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Felipe continues and says that he's been single for four years and that he dates a lot.
[18:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Also, this man has bad posture.
[18:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And some of our long-line more men have joined, like I said, and we see the pastor Cal look alike.
[19:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's shorter than the guys that are in there so far, so then Devon is dancing to like what seems like no music like me Can hear the music, but he's just dancing and I'm like, hey go Devon Felic is not doing a good job of getting me his good books because he's doing all the talking He's not letting anybody else talk.
[19:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's the one driving the conversation and just going on my limited So they ask me if he brings his dates to his restaurants and he's like all the time and I'm like
[19:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He confirms that he's the owner and he reiterates in his confessionals that guy, I just wanted to make sure to let you know that my employees can confirm that I don't hit on customers they have to hit on me you guys I'm not I'm not a fan he maybe he can turn it around But I tell you what I don't know why they chose to do this for the sneak peek but Felipe is not winning me over so far in this sneak peek so Nick is a person who's been on three
[19:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: reality shows he's popped up now.
[20:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's the reality vet and the guys have now moved to these oversized chairs that look like they're getting many pennies, but they're not.
[20:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're just sitting in it and they're basically still talking.
[20:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he asked them, you guys, have you ever cheated or been cheated on?
[20:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And all the guys are like, no, we haven't in Philippines like, wow, I cheated once.
[20:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And once weird is like, I didn't even remember that I cheated until it came up to years later.
[20:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why are you telling us on the show about marriage?
[20:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why are you saying it like it's a flex?
[20:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like it's not something you should be ashamed of?
[20:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like why are you telling us this?
[20:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh gosh, next says that he
[20:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, he's going to have the best marriage out of everyone.
[20:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You guys I told you competitive reality show.
[20:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's looking at it as a competition.
[20:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, are you coming here to make sure that you have a solid relationship and a solid marriage with the person that you with or you're here to make sure that oh, you're the winner and you're the one who wins.
[20:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And oh, I'm the best marriage out here, but his words not mine, I know for sure I'm going to have the best marriage out here, but if I have to pick anyone who's not going to have a great marriage, it would be for the pay.
[21:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Philippe tells him, like, oh, yeah, so I cheated in 2018, but I haven't done it since and told was like that you know, and they're like, like, so funny.
[21:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, my God.
[21:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he says that, um, of course, I'm not going to cheat on my wife.
[21:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Sorry, you did not even know that you cheated and you found out two years later.
[21:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So how do you know what you can't won't do?
[21:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But we go back to the women.
[21:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We meet Nikki.
[21:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They don't really say anything.
[21:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We just see them walking in.
[21:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Nikki is 46.
[21:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Tory is 32.
[21:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm going to assume that Nikki is going to be with Sean, who is 48.
[21:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I gotta tell you, I don't know how that's gonna work.
[21:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't see how tall she is, but Sean is short.
[21:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I didn't realize how short.
[21:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just thought he was shorter than the guys, but there's another shot we'll be seeing of him with all the guys and he's short, short.
[21:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I don't know, I don't know how that's gonna fly.
[21:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It might not mean anything, because I remember Woody and Amani, and I was like, oh, what should I say?
[22:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, he's short, but it worked out fine.
[22:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, I might be panicking for nothing.
[22:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We made Bell Jolie who is 28 and a singer, songwriter and she says she wants to just recreate what happens in the movies and she wants to be the leading lady.
[22:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Uh-huh, you guys know how I feel about adults and wanting to recreate movies and fairy tales and things.
[22:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Again, I'm not saying you shouldn't be in love.
[22:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm just like, can we live in reality because you are setting yourself up for failure?
[22:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, life can be romantic, life can be winzy, but it's also rooted in reality.
[22:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, movies are not real life, but, you know, asking you should receive, right?
[22:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we'll see how that works out for her.
[22:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, the woman is talking about types and they're like, okay, so you guys, what are your types?
[22:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Another thing I don't like don't ask people what their types are like sometimes people just make stuff up.
[22:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so people's types are like whoever likes me, I like them.
[22:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But Bell Julie is like, I like tall, dark in handsome and I'm like, okay.
[22:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know what, Bell Jolie's the one who said it, but my rule is when someone says tall, dark and handsome, to me, I think you mean a tall black man.
[23:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's just me.
[23:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know when you evolved to tall dark and handsome.
[23:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know what that means.
[23:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If you just like someone that has is a brunette or has black hair, then say that, I don't know what tall dark and handsome means.
[23:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, but Bell Jolie said it, so it's fine.
[23:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Just getting up my grapes.
[23:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I promise I'm in a good
[23:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Courtney, who's a program manager, says he doesn't have to have or be a six pack God, but I just want him to have a neck.
[23:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, that's so specific.
[23:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Did she get done dirty by someone who had no neck?
[23:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's like, never again.
[23:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If you're gonna break my heart, at least have a neck.
[23:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because it's just so specific to say, I just want him to have a neck.
[23:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, hopefully he does have a neck.
[23:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Most people do.
[23:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she says, actually, did body building her parents her into body building, she's into body building, we see her into gym, she shows our her guns in the confessional, and she's like, oh, just kidding, I was like, oh, my kidding, I'm not kidding, like, for real, for real.
[24:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she says she feels like she needs to be perfect at everything, and she's like, oh, my God, I'm either problem, maybe I am the problem.
[24:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This does not look good.
[24:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think that might be setting up for something, but we'll see.
[24:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So animals are ready there with the guys, but he finally gets to talk maybe because Felipe should up for a second.
[24:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he's a data analyst and he tells us like, Oh, he has his own cabin on the water.
[24:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like he's been remote.
[24:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's been working for years.
[24:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like he has a jet ski.
[24:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He just got a jet ski.
[24:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he just rips a jet ski runs pickable with the guys.
[24:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And, you know, when he says it was a data analyst, Felipe was like, Oh, tech guy.
[24:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, okay, I mean, this Seattle, so maybe it's just the regular thing.
[24:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So they're like, oh, so you don't have a car.
[24:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's like, yeah, I have a car, but I don't use it because I just ripped the skins and I'm like, oh, we are going to have someone that is so brouille.
[24:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just, when these things get so brouille,
[24:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know, but we'll see.
[25:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not used to this with masks.
[25:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think it's what it is.
[25:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I have to embrace and understand that masks is evolving into, you know, for the younger generation.
[25:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm gonna hear things like rip the skis and bro talk and things like that because they're younger.
[25:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I'm usually used to masks being serious and being all buttoned up and having people
[25:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Again, I know of the guys that we've had, but I'm used to them at least pretending that they wanted a life on marriage It just looks like this is an experience and I'm here for the experience So he says that he's an adrenaline junkie and his career is locked in He's making way more money than he ever thought that he would be and he's just looking for a serious relationship
[25:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: that he courted girls, which I found interesting, he didn't say I dated girls, I was in relationships, he said I courted girls, which is like a old-fashioned way of saying things, and that he was in nonstop relationships between 20 and 29, where he dated girls nonstop, but he didn't work out because they just were into partying and he's not into that kind of lifestyle.
[26:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, I'm saying that he's broy, so again, maybe I'm judging a book by its cover and maybe he is really serious and he is really ready to settle down, but I'm not going to be caught slipping.
[26:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not going to go in there thinking of somebody's so this and then they make me look like a fool, so everybody's on probation.
[26:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Everybody's on probation until the one month anniversary.
[26:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we'll see how they act.
[26:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says that discipline is the theme of his life and is because of his parents and he just does everything.
[26:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I expect that he's going to be very rigid and they're going to pair him up with someone who's just like free-spirited and just wants to live life in Yolo.
[26:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we'll see how it is.
[26:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So then Adam goes over to play the piano and I mean, he's cute, I do think he's cute but he just seems like really, really,
[26:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Intense so he starts playing the piano.
[26:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's warming up and it was like, oh, it's just a warm-up And then he says playing and it's nice and Nick is like Nick is a one-given commentary on everybody And then Nick is just like, yeah, I'm all for it like yay for him playing the piano But he was a long song and then when he's done he's like, okay I'm just gonna do one more and then I'll get out of here So Nick says like yeah
[27:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's successful, he has all the things, a good job, he has money, he can play the piano, so his wife is going to be very stoked with him, whatever, he's annoying, because again, he has identified him as competition.
[27:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Someone made a comment.
[27:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We don't see who it is and they were just like, well, we know who's having sex for first night and they're referring to Adam because he seems to be Renaissance man and has everything on luck.
[27:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we switch over and we see Marissa, that's the girl who came in first saying she's been to six weddings, asked them if they like to kill her and if they want to do shots.
[27:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And now I'm wondering if that is who he's going to be matched with and if they're going to portray her as a party girl because
[27:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He said that, you know, didn't last because they were just partying and he was looking for something to
[28:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: settle into.
[28:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And if he's saying that he's not really into, he's very into the discipline and she's just like, woo, I just like that.
[28:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Fun.
[28:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maybe that's why they put them together because he did say he did have fun back in the day.
[28:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So maybe it's muscle memory and you'll come back, but it'll be interesting to see what the reaction will be.
[28:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And guys, I do know that the couples are out.
[28:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know if they're out or if Master Ham put it out, but I'll actually be surprised.
[28:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I actually don't know
[28:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, I, like I said earlier, their social media is open.
[28:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So you can see all of them are out there just talking about, oh, I'm going to be my my made it.
[28:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm going to be a maps and all that.
[28:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I will share though that one of the brides shared that she just had a his direct to me, um, she shared that information.
[28:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Of course, it doesn't, it's not a spoiler doesn't tell us, you know, if
[28:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: she stayed married if she's not married because again it's not it's a case of even if she's single she could have done that even if she's still married her husband could be on board in symmetrical it's a medical situation but just wanted out there because i think that's the difference also we'll back in lifetime we knew nothing about these people you know they had their social media locked until the end until we had the reunion and everything and then they'll open it up but now
[29:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: it's all open and there's all this bits and pieces out there so I don't know.
[29:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So the guys in the girls all cheers and they give a toast to the adventure that they're about to get on and that is these seven minutes sneak peek that we get.
[29:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I don't know, I don't know how I feel about it.
[29:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I know it's a different vibe.
[29:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's a different vibe from the masks that I know and maybe it is a good thing.
[29:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: still don't like Felipe, but we'll see what happens.
[29:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We'll see who he's matched with.
[29:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But we'll see how he goes.
[29:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And we'll see whether it'll be fun.
[29:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think if it's not illegally binding marriage, I'm okay with it.
[29:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It lowers the stakes a lot because all the incirious people it gives an even more motivation and less guilt that well.
[29:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's not anything serious.
[29:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we could just do this and see how it goes.
[30:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not getting a lot of seriousness from the guys except for maybe Adam and everyone just seems like, again, they're here for a good time, not a long time.
[30:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We, I feel like we got a lot more from the men than the women I don't know if that was intentional, but we'll just see what happens.
[30:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: As always, my favorite part is once we get through the weddings and we just are seeing their personalities and how it's gonna go.
[30:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Let me know your thoughts.
[30:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Let me know how you're feeling.
[30:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If you're looking forward to it, some changes you would like to see.
[30:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm very, very curious to hear.
[30:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So put them out in the comments, put them out in social media.
[30:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, where to find me, it's Taint Talks.
[30:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm looking forward to the season.
[30:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think I'm going to be covering it the same way I did last.
[30:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: season where it was like, I'd have one.
[30:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'll cover an episode each.
[30:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm planning to have some special guests come to cover with me hoping to have some former, you know, maps cast members as schedule permits.
[31:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we'll see we'll try to make work and have a great time with season 20.
[31:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So see you then.
[31:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Bye guys.
[31:18] \[UNKNOWN\]: You
