[0:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hello everybody, welcome to another episode of Tain Talks.
[0:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I am your host, Tain.
[0:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Here with another episode of Reality Show Rumble.
[0:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Back from a break, I am ready to talk all of the things.
[0:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Today, I'm going to talk about some shows.
[0:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm going to talk about some pub culture happenings.
[0:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What I'm reading, what I'm watching.
[0:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's been a while, so I'm just kind of like, you know, rambling, like the title says today.
[0:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So a reminder that patreon.com slash taint talks, you can get bonus episodes, you can get early episodes, you can get video episodes.
[0:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And you can get ad free episodes, different tiers, you can pick your tier, whatever works for you.
[0:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And up there right now, I just put up the 90 day fiance last resort finale, which is basically the tell-all.
[1:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: did a recap on that so that's open patreon right now.
[1:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Next week I'm going to have a recap of the documentary, the swan.
[1:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So subscribe, if you just support, or you can try and for free also.
[1:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We also chat a little bit about some shows out there.
[1:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Next week on the main feed, again, making up for us time, we are going to have love is blind Netherlands with Brian as always.
[1:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Gonna have some traders talk and have some challenge talk.
[1:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So it's going to be fun.
[1:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So make sure you're subscribed so you don't miss out on any new episode.
[1:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay.
[1:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: A little bit of pop culture things that we're in the news this week with all the secret lives of Mormon wives chaos that is going on you guys I'm wondering if the O.C.
[1:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: version is a good idea like are we hankering for more secret lives of Mormon wives that we're barely managing the one we have right now they are in turmoil for lack of a better word and I don't
[2:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know anyone that is or anyone doesn't seem compelling enough for them to have a spin off like it feels like it's the same people who thought having Taylor Frankie Paul as a bachelor, I think this is going to be a good idea and also the same people who think that
[2:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Jen Affleck anchoring any show is a good idea.
[2:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, I think that's what's odd to me.
[2:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's like, yeah, she grew up in California, but Jen is an ensemble person.
[2:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's not an anchor.
[2:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, I assume she's the anchor because she's the one that we know and she's the one, you know, coming over to the spin-off.
[2:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I don't understand.
[2:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not, I'm not, is Michaela on this.
[2:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not sure.
[2:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Either way, it just seems like a weird thing.
[2:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: At least when it's in Utah, we know the Mormon, we know the religion, there's a tie-in, but when it's in O.C., I guess this went out for people who grew up, I know Mormons are just not in Utah, but it's just like a natural tie-in.
[2:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So is this people who still practice?
[3:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is this people who deviated?
[3:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, I guess I'm curious, I mean, I'm saying all this, I'm still gonna watch, guys, and I'm still gonna tell you what I thought about it,
[3:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This was a good time.
[3:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Or maybe it is, maybe with the original deteriorating, the medical start something new, and it might surprise me.
[3:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I don't know, what do you guys think?
[3:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, am I the only one who feels like this is like, or are there actually, is there anyone out there who's like, I'm actually looking forward to this.
[3:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I can't wait to see this because who was truly trying to be secularized in more and more wives over our heads?
[3:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, there was nothing they were not attaching the show to.
[3:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They did basically building everything around them and they were there.
[3:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So now that all this is happening, maybe they're panicking.
[3:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I mean, they announced this a while back.
[3:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we'll see, we'll see what happens.
[3:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, for people who jersey short heads, who actually watch like family vacation, polyd and niki are engaged.
[4:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I am so happy for them.
[4:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not saying like, I didn't know if poly was, you know, the get married type.
[4:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I hope he is and he's just not, you know, doing it to by time.
[4:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't doubt that he loves Nikki.
[4:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just think that he was the person who wanted to get married.
[4:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then in the final season, you know, J-Wild and the rest of them were asking, Nikki, like, do you, like, do you want to get married?
[4:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's like, you're going to have to ask Paulie.
[4:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he felt like she wanted to.
[4:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But,
[4:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was basically moving on his timeline.
[4:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's never home.
[4:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's always around.
[4:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she usually goes around with him when he has his DJ gigs and stuff.
[4:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But he did propose to her at a gig.
[4:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she did seem really surprised.
[4:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It did seem like he was a little detached.
[4:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like after he did a right back to DJing.
[4:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I mean, it is poly.
[4:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He they have their own language.
[4:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And we have to learn like everybody doesn't react the same.
[4:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So different things every couple has their own language and their way of doing things.
[5:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're engaged and it's such a surprise because I'm blanking on the show, but the dating show that he did with Vinnie, that's where they met and Nikki just kind of came off as the psycho babe who was obsessed with him and didn't want to let go, but even when they had the second season, she was back and there was just something about them and years later they're so together and now they're going to start a family they're so good together.
[5:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So happy for them and congratulations to them.
[5:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: On the opposite side of the spectrum, two deaths that were high profile this week was Gina Braxton lost her husband or second husband Vaughan.
[5:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It seems like he had congenital heart disease and if you watch the return of the Braxton Valley family valley, you say came back after their sister passed away.
[5:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He did talk about that, you know, they talked about the diagnosis, we saw him going to
[6:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, her panicking about it, talking about changing his diet.
[6:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And even when he went to the wedding, when he was supposed to be in the ER, and he just didn't want to cause any panic.
[6:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I don't know what happened afterwards, but he seems like that was the cause of his death.
[6:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But either way, it's just so sad because it's just so much like,
[6:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Can't you even get a break like she lost her sister?
[6:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She lost her first ex-husband to cancer and then now she's lost her second husband who they seem to have a good relationship.
[6:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She loved him, he loved her and it's just sad.
[6:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he's so rest in peace and I hope she's surrounded by love with her family.
[6:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And on the other side of the spectrum is Gipsy Rose,
[6:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: partner.
[6:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And father of her child can't anchor.
[6:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Seems to have passed away on his birthday.
[6:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I am not versed in Gypsy Rose because it's just content I never consumed.
[6:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The only thing I know was, you know, I watched the movies that show the whole thing that happened with her boyfriend and her mom and her mom died.
[7:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But after that, I just couldn't bring myself to watch anything after that.
[7:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then
[7:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: not with the phone calls and everything about her.
[7:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's just not my cup of tea to perform a lack of a better word, but this is still so sad and it seems like what's going on in the news is like it wasn't overdosed, but I don't know if that's official or not, but I think she gave a statement in people.
[7:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But either way, a death is sad.
[7:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's a child involved that has lost their father and he's always in peace as well.
[7:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, searching gears to what I am reading is maybe a while since I told you guys what I'm reading.
[7:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just finished the book so old, so young and it was not terrible.
[7:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It just wasn't for me character driven books are not.
[7:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: books that work for me.
[7:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's like nothing happens.
[7:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We're just watching the characters and their lives.
[7:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's about a group of friends.
[8:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And we follow their lives from when they were in college to now that they're grown up adulting and life being and having a family, marriages, divorce, addiction and all the things.
[8:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But it's so funny that the whole
[8:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The premise is it's always based in all the parties that they attend whether they're in college and whether When they're adults it's just based around when they get together and they're in parties and then we get like the snippets of their lives and how it progress over the years and I don't know it just didn't work for me.
[8:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I know it's getting a lot of praise, but Wasn't for me, but I am currently reading the true confessions of first lady Freeman by D. Sheriff, Filiol and
[8:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's a fun book.
[8:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's basically a soap opera in Pages form.
[8:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's a very explicit and it's just following the life of a woman who got married at 23 to a pastor much older than her and how she wasn't accepted.
[9:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and how she's been working through that and a whole bunch of drama that's going on.
[9:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So it is fun.
[9:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's a fun book.
[9:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I do recommend that.
[9:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm also listening on the audio to the 19-gail by Chris and Hannah.
[9:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think meaning to read that because I wouldn't read it before the movie comes out.
[9:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It looks like
[9:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The code and L fanning are going to be cast in the, well, not cast.
[9:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're ready cast.
[9:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Are going to be in the movie together?
[9:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I just wanted to read the book before the movie comes out.
[9:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: In case I watch the movie because sometimes I read the books and I'm like, eh, it's the movie's not going to be better.
[9:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not going to watch it.
[9:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But that's what I am currently reading.
[9:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Making my way through my script at TV before Maps and everything came out.
[9:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I was letting you guys know that I was trying to make through my script at TV.
[9:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not watching these shows from scratch.
[9:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm just watching the latest season because I haven't been able to catch up on that.
[9:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So right now, the checklist, I have cut up on the pit.
[9:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I have cut up on shrinking.
[9:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I have cut up on widows bay.
[10:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, I feel follow the Emmys widows bay kind of swept most of the categories.
[10:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It wasn't bad, but I don't think it deserved a sweep.
[10:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I know that it's classified as a comedy.
[10:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There were some funny parts, but it's like paranormal type stuff.
[10:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I say it again, why wouldn't they create a remedy?
[10:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: um, not department, uh, uh, a, uh, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a,
[10:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: recently just finished a different world reboot and I enjoyed it.
[10:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I enjoyed it as well and as a whole and I've said this before like I don't think I show needs to be perfect for me to enjoy it Like I have a couple of shows that I'm just like you know what it just gives me joy regardless of all the things so I'm willing to overlook its flaws
[11:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I will say I don't think the acting was very good from the new generation for the different world but it doesn't matter as a whole I like how you know the stories came by it did go by so fast like they were trying to put so much in so many episodes I like how you know there was thought put into
[11:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: the stories and combining stories of the older generation and the younger generation and just finding a way to infuse them seamlessly into the show.
[11:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It didn't feel like they were just shooting them like oh we're just putting them in from a star just like it made sense the way that they had it so I did enjoy it I liked it and as it's a time that I was recording I just saw that they got ready for a second season and I'm so happy for them because we need more stories like this.
[11:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and it has me going back and now I'm watching all the episodes of the original different world which if you haven't watched do you have a favor and go watch it?
[12:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It is on Netflix right now and you know how they do they take things off sometimes so just watch it and have you a good time?
[12:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm deep in the nostalgia street.
[12:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, I'm ready to get into the shows but I will take a break and I'll be right back.
[12:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, I am back.
[12:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Today, I think I'm gonna make it, I'm gonna call it a CBS special, because most of the shows are in CBS.
[12:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was like premiere week for them, and I was sat and I watched it all.
[12:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So today I'm gonna cover the Big Brother finale survivor, amazing race, and the double lives of suburban wives.
[12:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So big brother Finalee, after a hundred days, after all summer, we finally have a winner and not a shock, not surprisingly, the winner is an icon and the winner is devins.
[13:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I was gonna say congratulations to him, but this is a huge, huge assurance with this because gosh, there's so much discourse on it
[13:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's almost like I'm glad that this is done so we can move on from this.
[13:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But just rewinding just a little bit to how we got to the finale.
[13:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, you know, Taylor, the final three was Taylor drew and Devons, you know, drew did his eviction and drew evicted.
[13:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: D could not believe it could not believe that he did not have big Devons.
[13:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, you know, whatever work Devons did there.
[13:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, investing in June from the beginning was one of the smart
[13:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, I was out here reading for Taylor.
[13:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was an emotional choice only because I've said this all along.
[13:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I like, I like, Devin's, I like Devin's when he came here, but I'm also not one of those like, if you do something wrong, then you have to be objective.
[14:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not going to say, oh, I like this person so much that everything else they do is excuse.
[14:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And,
[14:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Devin's definitely had missteps for those who watch the live feed and that's the other thing.
[14:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Life feed versus the show that we were shown to completely different shows and knowing fully well not everybody has the time to watch life feeds or to keep up with it.
[14:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So understood because you know when the final three of the America's favorite players was like Drew Devans
[14:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Some people were surprised, but it's like you have to remember there's a whole other audience out there and they're not watching the light feeds And for anyone that's a little confused.
[14:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's like there was a lot of microaggressions.
[14:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's no other way to say it There were microaggressions and we're being done against you know Taylor he is Lala when she was in the house and just a way they spoke like it just wasn't nice I know in his interviews Devon's is saying like yes Taylor got on his scan, but you know, I hate you this this game play and there's just you know
[14:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: life and unfortunately it was there and um yeah so that is my asterious with him and I know like in the at this point this happens every season with big brother every beginning of the season I'm like
[15:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Please, God, give us a season with a no racism.
[15:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Always a tall order, but we so fat.
[15:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think we got like one season, maybe.
[15:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then now we're back, you know, to normal.
[15:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But that is my estimates right here.
[15:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And the other estimates is also like, we're not gonna act like the icons did not have advantages.
[15:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like I think that's what I don't like.
[15:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: These competition shows are not always fair.
[15:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like we've had other, you know.
[15:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You see, you know, the seasons where there's been advantages got it, but I don't like that the icons are saying like, oh, no, we did not have advantage.
[15:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You did come with advantages and it's okay.
[15:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Just own it.
[15:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Stop saying that you didn't.
[15:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You came in with an inbuilt alliance.
[15:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like,
[15:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They, they play it, right?
[15:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, they did.
[15:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, absolutely, maybe in the hands of other people, they wouldn't have played it, right?
[16:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But they did.
[16:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not going to say that, but also in the same breath, like knowledge that there were some advantages that were given.
[16:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And there's advantages that they had where huge advantages that came in clutch, which again, they played it, right?
[16:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't be very saying like,
[16:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The, I don't know, newbies?
[16:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, maybe it was a cool newbies.
[16:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Did newbies didn't take them out.
[16:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They should've taken them out from the beginning.
[16:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Which is very true.
[16:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They should have.
[16:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But let's not forget that they did try.
[16:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, she did.
[16:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The diamond video was played.
[16:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then.
[16:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When they tried again, D got to play her bribe, not once, but twice.
[16:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it was like a huge bribe.
[16:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They have to accept it.
[16:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And the whole bribe included like covering three people.
[16:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Could he have negotiated better?
[16:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, but he was kind of backed against a wall.
[16:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He would have gone home that week.
[16:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then Barrett tried and it failed.
[16:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then he was shamed against his.
[16:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I mean, there was trying, but they could have done a better job.
[16:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But they were all taking a back by, I don't know, the startup, and that happens.
[17:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When Buster Rob won his season of Survivor, it was because they also star-stroke.
[17:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So you cannot say that that's not an advantage.
[17:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, like I said earlier, the icons used their advantages right.
[17:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And they also won competitions when they should.
[17:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The blockbuster truly came in clutch.
[17:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I know I like the blockbuster, but that's what it is.
[17:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And, but there were a tent.
[17:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When you add their experience, like I'm with Kyland, Kyland from the challenge big brother has said that it's kind of like an asterisk for him because it's like you're comparing people who have experience play like basically like varsity versus JV.
[17:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like it's not comparable because it's experience and it helps.
[17:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You can't say that it doesn't.
[17:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's like again, one could say,
[17:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Angela, like what if all the icons were on the level of Angela, where it okay, they couldn't play comp, so we weren't maybe a strategic would that helped.
[18:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, but that's what happened.
[18:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We got two people, one who's a survivor winner, one who's known for like chaos and very strategic, and it was just like
[18:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: his luck right out the first time because I do not well yeah I do he would have won the first time that he was on survivor make I always point out would drew be a star struck with devins if he wasn't devins from survivor that is an advantage so I don't know I just wish they would own the fact that they got advantages but they got advantages and they also pleaded
[18:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You had an advantage, please.
[18:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, you don't have that much adversity, you're basically running the house, and everybody went there.
[18:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: People like Melody should have done something.
[18:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, earlier, if there were so a math, they were like, Mallory, but they were star-struck, and they wanted to stay in their orbit, and that's what happened.
[18:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know?
[18:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But the first part of the competition was so happy that Taylor won that and even after she did, and you could tell, Jew and Devons were just talking about the company like she was not even in the running to win at all.
[19:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, it was just between them, this person would drop, that person would do this and I was just like, wow.
[19:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: she just never write anybody off, no matter what she think.
[19:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But not only did she do that competition that looks so hard, I don't know how hard the shocks were, but she took her braids out and her fingers must be numb and then gave herself a perm.
[19:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So
[19:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Good, good solid work by Taylor in the last few days.
[19:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I will say like there's no one way to win big brother.
[19:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're way too many variables.
[19:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If you make it to the final, whatever you did got you there, even if it's being a floater, I mean, I like it, but it got you there.
[19:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like when they showed that jury segment where Melody was like, well, I still beat you immediately to the final five.
[19:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, by that logic, then Taylor played a better game than the rest of them.
[20:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So if we're going by that logic, so I don't know, if you end up there, so be it, that whatever you did, got you there.
[20:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I could have made an argument for each of the final three.
[20:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I believe, again, by the time we got like half way or even just a little bit into the episode, it really was devins to lose.
[20:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I feel like if you made it there, there could be some argument for it of tailor-made, there could be some argument.
[20:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And at the end of the day, it was devins who took the win.
[20:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Angela has always been annoying, Angela remains annoying, and I do not want to see Angela on my TV screen anymore.
[20:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm surprised that she didn't react when Chelsea came and was the person spearheading the jury round table because she's been making comments about that, but I think they're just looking for reactions, but she didn't.
[20:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And also the round table seems to be like a nothing burger lately, like it's just there's no information, you can't really say things, and it's just basically talking about each person's
[21:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, I wasn't interesting because I wasn't sure what they were thinking.
[21:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They were like, it seemed like they were trying to keep it be be strong.
[21:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I do appreciate Barrett, like, you know, just always going back and kind of seeing some kind of strength in Taylor's game.
[21:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But he does mention like, you know, they were a little salty about the icons getting the advantages because he's like, well,
[21:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It doesn't make you bolder like if you have all these advantages, they came in here that we didn't have, they had people voting for them, you know, to get the rewards first of all.
[21:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I mean, I do think like I did a point by part two.
[21:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I was so nervous.
[21:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just feel like Taylor had to win it, but honestly she didn't and she was good either way because Drew was going to take her and she had done her magic, which they didn't show by convincing evidence that he had to take her.
[21:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: for her to have a chance.
[22:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she has that interview that she was bluffing because if she got evicted the same way she was evicted
[22:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There was no way she was going to talk to Lala to say, don't vote this person.
[22:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's no time to do that.
[22:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Or to convince anybody.
[22:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she said she would have voted for Devon's anyways, because he played the better game.
[22:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So again, she got $75,000.
[22:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Her speech was not good.
[22:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She was not good at answering the questions.
[22:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When she made it to final two,
[22:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I thought maybe we could have a Monte Taylor hailed situation where Monte was like, oh, this is easy.
[22:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She didn't do anything this game.
[22:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I won't come.
[22:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I did this.
[22:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I ran the house.
[22:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm gonna win, but the minute Taylor got up, started her speech and said answering question and you had that like, it was in that moment, he knew he fucked up.
[22:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I thought,
[22:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We tailored this season, but when she said I actually in the class, Jans, I was just like, oh, this is not her strong suit.
[23:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It looked like she's very nervous, and she wasn't getting her point across.
[23:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then those mean girls across, making all these faces and things, it's just disrespectful.
[23:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like it's already nervous.
[23:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like we get it.
[23:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You did all the things, but just give her this one time.
[23:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, like it was even devins who brought up the fact that her speech convinced him.
[23:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She didn't even mention that.
[23:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then at no point did they even mention that she won the first part of the competition.
[23:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, again, it was Devon's solution.
[23:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And even if it was Drew, I think a Devon's would have won.
[23:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't think Drew had the lack of ability factor.
[23:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That was enough, like he just annoyed people.
[23:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He was very hurt when Devon's cut him.
[23:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think I knew that Devon's was actually going to cut him when Devon's looked so troubled when he had to make the choice.
[23:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Taylor really did her big one with that, but she got $75,000, which is more than his salary, paying teachers more guys.
[23:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And, you know, it's, and I think that's what Jews hurt, is more, it's like, he gets nothing.
[24:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think that's so so painful about third, is like, Devon didn't cut him that, didn't throw him that little bone.
[24:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think June, he was going to lose, right?
[24:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But at least if you're second, you're going to get $75,000, but he got nothing.
[24:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: at all.
[24:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, and I think Taylor also knew that she was going to come second.
[24:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, you know, it is what it is, but we have a winner been listening to their interviews.
[24:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I see that, you know, my gloom had asked some questions about the microaggressions, and it was very much downplayed, like, no, I didn't mean anything like that.
[24:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No, that they were really, really great.
[24:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They were this.
[24:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, I'm looking forward to seeing how that's going to be received or addressed, because I thought
[24:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It wasn't.
[24:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I don't know if it's just going to go under the radar and then just move on.
[24:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I just feel like, that's a society.
[24:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We just need to do better.
[24:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think that's what they meant by when Taylor made that comment about what you say, the elitism by, you know, revenge and the privilege and all that kind of stuff.
[25:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She was playing back against the corner because no matter what she did, it was not good enough and she was annoyed.
[25:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Versus playing in Stephens where you're looking at you know that was a daddy-devin That's what you were looked at everybody wanted to be in his good side or and to play with him Like you don't have those concerns where she has the concerns and she said it was very very stressful And she just wanted to be you know by herself and then the accuser of that being by her pod by herself And it was just really difficult you know to handle so I think those are like pretty much the highlights of Big Brother.
[25:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I am glad the season is
[25:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Done.
[25:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Loki, I kind of wish that they would make the days less.
[25:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just 100 days is a long time.
[25:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It really just is a long time to be away from everything, cut off from everything.
[25:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And they just comes and fatigue because it just becomes the discourse all the time and it airs three times a week.
[26:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know, maybe they should consider that, but as Julie told us, it has been renewed for two more seasons.
[26:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like, I suppose to what?
[26:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: D-shows don't, like, grades has not even canceled, so, I don't know, I just expected it to keep going.
[26:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, Devon's is the most winningness, winningness, a big brother winner now.
[26:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He won, America's favorite player.
[26:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He won the $10,000, he won the...
[26:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: grand prize, and I'm sure he was a highest paid, you know, on the show through the season.
[26:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So good for him for making up for not winning, but I hope he learns from this.
[26:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I hope he is truly remorseful for some of the things that he said.
[26:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And, um,
[26:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's nothing we can do about it now.
[26:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maybe 28 has a survivor winner.
[26:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And can I say, like, it is so hilarious that I'm social media people are like, can we get jagged on survivor to seek vengeance?
[26:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I don't know, that really made me laugh.
[26:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was just really, really funny to me.
[26:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But yeah, love to hear your thoughts on a big brother.
[27:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But yeah, we got a winner and we're done.
[27:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'll take a break and I'll be right back.
[27:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, speaking of survivor let us talk about survivor.
[27:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I love it.
[27:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I love it.
[27:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I love it.
[27:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I love it.
[27:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We got a good cast.
[27:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We have two episodes down now.
[27:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The premiere was amazing.
[27:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was wonderful.
[27:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I had goosebumps.
[27:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not even exaggerating because I'm like, are we back?
[27:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We have two tribes to Uncle Jeff.
[27:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What?
[27:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like it was great.
[27:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I didn't know what open air amends.
[27:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like, what the heck is open air?
[27:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What can we expect?
[27:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: How much more can Jeff make this worse for us?
[27:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But it is not.
[27:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When you have the combination of some of the things that we love, the only thing that would have made it better was maybe like a new location, kind of a second
[27:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We have people who came to play.
[27:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's like that's how you do it on survivor.
[27:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And that's the difference.
[27:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When you're a big brother, you know, sometimes people wait before they start playing.
[28:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And they're like, oh, we'll get them out here.
[28:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What did they say?
[28:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That doesn't work as a survivor.
[28:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: People come hard.
[28:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
[28:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But these group of people they came in.
[28:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we have two tribes and we have Devin who's already, you know, making it known.
[28:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's a game of honesty, not like the Joe kind of honesty, but like he was so sure that Jenna was not a wedding photographer and it was giving traders.
[28:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: These people come, no facts, no bases, just loud and wrong.
[28:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so sure that they're right.
[28:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's like, yeah, nothing about it tells me that she's a wedding photographer.
[28:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And in her confessional, which is listing all like the frames, the shutters, the all that that was hilarious.
[28:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Jeff said, expect the unexpected for the season.
[28:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he reminded us that at CDS, they got money, they're not worried about the thing, because there's a coin-flip price pot where, you know, something about the way Devon's fifth-to-coin.
[28:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And if you do that, they'll add more money, and it'll be 2 million, and then it keeps going.
[29:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If no one gets it, even to the other seasons, I'm like, okay.
[29:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, we've all been talking about adjusting for inflation for a while now, but I guess this is their solution for that.
[29:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We, I was waiting to find out how an Irish man ended up on survivor, but we just found out in the second season.
[29:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's married to an American, she's Puerto Rican, and then demons to Puerto Rico, and then they have a farm.
[29:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The poor guy volunteered to go off into exile and now he's back.
[29:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: First of all, you've lost all the momentum of forming a bond.
[29:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, you're safe, but no one believes that he doesn't have anything.
[29:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like everyone, yes, and then the person is so sure that he has something.
[29:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I don't know how you recover from that.
[29:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Shronda had a very good first episode.
[29:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She was very insulated.
[29:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She had all the people trying to work with her.
[29:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it seemed like she was good.
[29:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I really enjoyed the first episode.
[29:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I liked the groups and all of that.
[30:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then we had the second episode where all of a sudden Anna and Alexis were trying to target Shronda and Lenea.
[30:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's just annoying to me because
[30:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The guys are gonna pick off the women anyways, right?
[30:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So why help them?
[30:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why target another woman anyways?
[30:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, just try to pick up the guys because they will always rely on being strong and staying there.
[30:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And yes, you wanna win competitions, but don't help them take out the women.
[30:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So that's what really annoyed me about that.
[30:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And just to go back that I wanna say
[30:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, Alia being the first person voodied off is so insane because of just one thing that she said and Brody just took that and was like oh, you're out and he won the war between himself and Devon and good on Jenna on this thing good on Jenna because that was gameplay and that's what I mean You don't sit there and roll over and die.
[30:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She went over there.
[30:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She spread the word and that saved her ass and then now by week two no one's thinking about her
[31:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: you know?
[31:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, we'll see in the third episode, but no one's thinking about her.
[31:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So it's always fun to see people always ready to play and to play hard.
[31:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You guys, I'm very, very squeamish.
[31:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know if I've said this before.
[31:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So when Brady chopped his fingers, I could not look at it.
[31:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was a hard chop.
[31:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, he was kind of coconut, why would you put your hand there?
[31:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then he put it in there and then three quarters of it, oh my god, I wasn't even looking at it.
[31:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: As far as I'm concerned, they spend way too long on that scene.
[31:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I was ready to move on.
[31:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And also, it took forever for a medic to show up.
[31:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's in the finger-been eyes.
[31:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I thought that's how you sew it back on.
[31:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: How was he able to stay?
[31:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think that's what I most shocked at.
[31:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Between this and below deck this week, too much blood for me, too much.
[31:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just want to watch my shows and be able to put eyes on the actual show and not turn away.
[31:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Kristen also had an injury and it looked like in a secret scene.
[32:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She has a slide fracture.
[32:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I'm not sure if she's going to leave or what's going to happen, but yeah, Brody went through a whole range of emotions when the medic came, he's just like I can still play tell me give me something can I still stay and he is staying, but I don't know if it's a case of he's going to stay, but then they're going to tell him that he has to leave afterwards or he can, you know, continue, but yeah.
[32:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, ring villains back.
[32:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This has been me chanting this and I think we're kind of seeing that with Rob.
[32:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Rob is all here being all mean trying to create all the things.
[32:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not mad at him because I did say bring villains back.
[32:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But then he's so disappointing.
[32:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Now you want to go home.
[32:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is too much for you and you want to go home.
[32:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm just like, uh, uh, like I.
[32:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There are people who is this Christmas thing like she's applied how many people have been applying for years and they want to come on here and you come on here and then you decide you want to go home, you've had a suck it up suck it up stay and pull it together and rally.
[33:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Jelly I like jelly I'm so glad she found the idol and it does not have.
[33:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: any strings attached, oh guys, you don't know, happy I am.
[33:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She just has an idol.
[33:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's not a beware.
[33:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's not a thing that she has to do.
[33:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She doesn't have to find numbers, get to save and put it all together.
[33:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's just simply an idol.
[33:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So good for her.
[33:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I want her to have a voice back.
[33:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I also love that she wanted to show man's day one with Hi Lausagne.
[33:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we'll see how that develops if they make it through marriage.
[33:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um,
[33:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She, I felt like she should not have told anyone about the idol.
[33:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She does tell Pat, I mean, I know they always say that's how you build trust.
[33:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm just like, oh, at the end of the day, it's every man for themselves.
[33:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And if they feel like that's going to put them ahead, they're going to tell.
[33:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But, you know, she did.
[33:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The wrong reads are killing me because when someone was like they're onto us, but they're actually referring to the crabs.
[34:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then the game of telephone happens.
[34:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it just switches everything, I just.
[34:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Great, great television, we are being entertained.
[34:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm here for Ori and Sharanda's secret alliance, Kyle and Camilla cannot be duplicated though, but I do like that everyone is playing their own game.
[34:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because at the end of the day, Sharanda still got rid of Anna, like she wanted and Ori voted how he wanted to vote.
[34:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I like that there are no alliance, but there's still free to do whatever they want it to do.
[34:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Now Rob's game of trying to save,
[34:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Uh, uh, I forget trying to say, not Eric.
[34:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, trying to save Eric and not clean him in and saying just trust me and then telling him a tribal cancel and then going up there writing his own name like you.
[34:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: do not know the basic rule that you cannot vote for yourself.
[34:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Shout out to Ira Christian Rubicki is like what?
[35:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's a rule.
[35:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But yeah, and just fumbled.
[35:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then still voted for him to go home.
[35:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That was like, honestly, I have no respect for that man.
[35:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he better be going home pretty soon.
[35:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And also how would they find out?
[35:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I need all this to come out.
[35:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: in the air.
[35:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It should just be aired out so that he can be voted out.
[35:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But what's he will happen?
[35:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But either way, I am enjoying Survivor.
[35:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I am very excited as to what this season holds for us.
[35:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And now I'm so excited for a merge.
[35:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I want to see how that goes.
[35:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And yeah, Jeff Probes, well done.
[35:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, onto the next amazing race.
[35:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Amazingness has been kind of like what won't for me the last few seasons, but I gotta say I really like this the premiere.
[35:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I didn't know there was going to be a second episode, but after the big brother finale, I saw that there was an episode.
[35:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I was like, oh, wait, we have two episodes back to back.
[35:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So that was great to have two episodes of amazing race that I actually enjoyed.
[36:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It looks like they're looking.
[36:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're pushing hard for an all-women team to win because they have not had one win since season 25, I believe.
[36:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They said, I do like the addition of everyone having an express pass.
[36:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like this is how you juzzy up.
[36:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: um, a long running show.
[36:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like don't try to do too many twists and turns and just something simple and it will play out as you should.
[36:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I wasn't even sure I already liked the express pass, but as I saw it being used, I liked it even more.
[36:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like I didn't know people would get this desperate and use it's, you know, um, so soon.
[36:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, the married couple, um, Harvey and Anna, I'm probably saying her name wrong.
[36:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But,
[36:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: their introduction.
[36:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh my god.
[36:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm looking for him to show that he can provide or like he can lead and I'm like you're just a month married and you're talking about each other this way.
[36:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That was not good.
[36:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But when they used to express past so early I was like oh that's a bad idea but turned out that it was not a bad idea.
[37:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But also I feel like I kind of see why she's annoyed with him because he's so
[37:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But bumbly, that's not a word.
[37:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What do you mean is like, when she asked me a question, he's always like, he just never has an answer.
[37:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He just doesn't take initiative or just leads.
[37:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's waiting for her to tell him what to do, but I don't know what him first.
[37:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Has he always been like that?
[37:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Or did she beat him down so much that he's just like scared to say anything?
[37:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But that would be annoying.
[37:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like you need someone that's gonna be like, no, it is this, no, it is that.
[37:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: where they were running, where they had to jump down and get the salmon.
[37:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is why I can't do this show.
[37:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, I can't do many shows, but I am so deathlier afraid of heights.
[37:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Just seeing the angle, the camera angle just looking down, no way.
[37:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I would have passed out anyway.
[37:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, maybe that's how it unfolded, but I would have caught the salmon bit.
[37:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But yeah, math being an R&B singer, I didn't get time to Google this.
[38:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I usually Google, but I'm just like, what did you think?
[38:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Who were you singing to?
[38:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What was it a successful one?
[38:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The part where he calls the best friends, Logan Paul and Benson Boone, that was,
[38:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Funny.
[38:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Also, yeah, we'd have it and when they did the flags and she came up with the Mechanic story that we're gonna just say different things like stop.
[38:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No, I don't want checkers I couldn't believe that they could not remember the checkers That was the only thing I remembered because she said checkers across no checkers I don't want to play checkers and then they go in there and like what was checkers?
[38:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What was checkers and they couldn't remember that so
[38:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: that was crazy.
[38:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The sisters, I love them so much.
[38:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They have such a good defina.
[38:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is so terrible.
[38:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I should have written a name sound.
[38:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But defina, but they're sisters.
[38:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're just loving light and I like their relationship.
[38:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Using the express pass, Loki, at the last minute, that was a good idea.
[38:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So for us or reminder, they can only use the express pass once.
[39:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And once you use it, that's it.
[39:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And once somebody who's used it in a leg, nobody else can use it.
[39:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Which is a good idea because if five people decide they're going to do it, that's a little unfair and chaotic and just kind of room and survive of the game.
[39:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: In the second episode, the eliminated team.
[39:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't want to give spoilers because this is pretty soon.
[39:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, people haven't watched the app, but the team that got eliminated, there's enough seasons of amazing race for you to know that you have to pay attention to every single detail.
[39:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: because the difference between delcer and del sol is an elimination, you know, but yeah, this is a good cast.
[39:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think that I'm going to enjoy it this time and I think like this little thing back to it and I'm looking forward to it and I wonder if they're pushing so hard because we actually get a all-women team win this season.
[39:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So looking forward to finding that out.
[39:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, finally, double-lives of Suburban Wives.
[40:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I have an episode out with Amanda Bellar from Bella Talks TV, and we talked about the double-lives of Suburban Wives, did not realize that the season finale was gonna be the next week.
[40:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If not, we could have just done a season recap.
[40:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I'm just gonna talk about, you know, the final episode that happened.
[40:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When we did the recap, Amanda Bell had said that Emily was playing victim, and I was like, no, I don't really think she was playing victim, but I sure saw it on the final episode because when she was retelling the story of the trip, she skipped a lot of things.
[40:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She skipped her husband,
[40:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: walked in all Aggies speaking so disrespectfully everyone picking for a fight and you got to be ready do not assume that people are not going to call you a bluff and they call this bluff and they punched him in the face so she skipped that part she skipped even what it is that she said she didn't say the whole simmer down and all that so I'm like hmm you're playing with them here
[40:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Sean and his wife finally broke it to their kids and telling your kids, a national TV that you do a adult content is wild.
[41:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I noticed it through the season, but it was very apparent when they were speaking to the children that Sean can be childlike, like you just, um, childlike, you know, sometimes.
[41:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So when they found these spit it out, um, they're son already knew.
[41:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He just said like he just wasn't sure if Dad was going to let him because he wouldn't let his wife, um, do it.
[41:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then they kind of laugh about it and the kid is like, so is it the filthy money that paid for my baseball and Sean is getting all sensitive, like it's not building money.
[41:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's not dirty money, but they laughed and they have it best because they've been open and honest and the only people they care about
[41:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and her husband knows, her kids knows, and, you know, that's done, and they really took it well.
[41:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's just very, it's kind of difficult because
[41:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Do you do any further kids?
[41:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think their daughter who's 19 is going to an expensive college and is like, you know, I'm able to go to a good school and that's their motivation, right?
[42:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: To be able to provide this and to make sure their kids have a better life.
[42:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, so long as you're okay with it, anybody can do whatever they want to do.
[42:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So good on them.
[42:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm happy that they're free of it, they're done.
[42:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So that's it.
[42:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When she, when, I think, may see.
[42:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When, I don't know if it was Macy or Heather whoever mentioned, like, you know, I just don't want backlash for when the show airs.
[42:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think if they get a second season, that is going to be the entire premise of the second season.
[42:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's just what are the consequences of being on the show?
[42:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like do people recognize them?
[42:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Did enough people watch?
[42:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is there a spike in their subscribership?
[42:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Which Loki, I think that's the main reason most of the people did it to have a spike.
[42:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They have a backup and they have people that are paying money to watch their stuff, but
[42:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Macy and Jim are deciding to come out to her dad and we just spent so much time on her not wanting to wear a bra under her shirt then she wants to wear nipple covers and then she's like oh you can see the nipple cover flowers through the shirt and I'm like what is all this brain work going to this when we could either just wear a bra or change your shirt like that was so weird to me like this way too much time thinking about that at some point when they were talking in the kitchen their trash was open
[43:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: just a tiny kid bit.
[43:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like, why is her trash open?
[43:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Their dad comes over, they finally tell their dad, and he's just like, I don't care what other people think.
[43:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm just,
[43:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: what is going on.
[43:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Their dad was in shock.
[43:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like you could tell that he was in shock and I felt a little bit bad for him because he's all season long.
[43:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's talking about how Macy's is proud and joy.
[43:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like she's such a good daughter.
[43:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She, you know, always does things that makes him very proud of her.
[43:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And gingers to me had like terrible choice of words, saying things like it's something we do, we enjoy it.
[44:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's not the best thing to say to a pastor and you have to recognize that you're not talking to a friend.
[44:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You're talking to her dad.
[44:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This man, watch her as a baby.
[44:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: As she grew up and probably still Caesar is a child and you're talking about adult content and he's just supposed to be like well Well, you enjoy it so that's it Best case scenario.
[44:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, but you have to give room to the fact that people are not going to react exactly the way that you want them to Macy says that she's still a strong Christian and Jean keeps trying to speak for her and the vibe I'm getting is that his dad kept wanting her to speak and
[44:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think his brain was kind of telling him, like,
[44:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: that Jim is making her do it.
[44:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because he starts asking, like, why are you, like, is this endgame?
[44:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, why are you doing this?
[44:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, you know, is this something you wanna do?
[45:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then when Jim wants this because, like, no, you, I'm asking you, Macy.
[45:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I just feel like he kind of thought, like, Jim brain washer or forcer into doing this.
[45:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So when she says she's still a strong Christian, he says this is not aligned with Christianity.
[45:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he's not wrong.
[45:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We talked about this, like Macy.
[45:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She kept saying, like, you know, as soon as it's seen, it doesn't matter.
[45:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: A white lies seem as adult content.
[45:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's why Jesus died for her sins.
[45:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I was like, but now you're taking advantage of it.
[45:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, it truly doesn't align.
[45:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No matter what it is that you're going to say, you can't say you're a strong Christian.
[45:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then just bend the rules for when he works, you know, for you.
[45:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Their dad is like, he's leaving.
[45:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's like, please cut the camera.
[45:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't want to be a part of this and we get a thing saying like he left.
[45:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I know she wants acceptance, but she has to give the other side room to process.
[45:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's a shock for him.
[45:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, she's been his little girl and he has to accept that it's not just
[45:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's not just, you know, everyone has seen his daughter in an adult way or like they like to say in a spicy way and now this TV show that he thought was about lives and like he's feeling like he's I'm sure his mind was running a mile a minute is all I'm trying to say so after he leaves she starts crying she says she's so sad that they did it this way.
[46:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she feels like they blindsided him and I agree, I said the same thing.
[46:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why do you have to tell this man on TV?
[46:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You could have told him in private.
[46:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He didn't have to deal with this and have this forever on tape.
[46:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Knowing that is already going to be something difficult for him, you know, to process.
[46:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But Jim is just like, uh, off camera, on camera, it's still the same thing.
[46:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It doesn't matter.
[46:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No Jim.
[46:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's not off camera.
[46:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We don't get to be part of what some make all a private moment.
[46:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's not
[46:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: in history of what it was like when he found out when she told him.
[46:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, but I do hope she feels better because she's out now.
[47:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's not a secret, and she doesn't have to wear those terrible wigs anymore.
[47:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She still has strange from her dad, but according to the updates that they put in there.
[47:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But we'll see what happens if she comes back for a second season, or if it doesn't matter, if that's not talking to her, she might as well make money off of it and just come back for the second season.
[47:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, guys, that's it.
