## Transcript

[0:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hello everybody, welcome to another episode of Tain Talks.
[0:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I am your host Tain as usual.
[0:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Here to talk about this crazy people married at first sight season 20 episode 11.
[0:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Here with me is friend of the pod, Dana from the Bravo Investigator podcast has been a minute.
[0:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think it was still all to call the last time you were here.
[0:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hi, Dana.
[0:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: How are you?
[0:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm so good.
[0:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Thank you for having me.
[0:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think the last time I was here, we were talking traders.
[0:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So a whole different vibe.
[0:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But I love the new name for the show because at the end of the day, this is not just a math show anymore, despite that being obviously your bread and butter.
[0:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: This is what you do.
[0:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You are like the math's kind of sore.
[0:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So some have to be here.
[0:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, you guys are always so kind to me.
[0:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know what to do with myself.
[0:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But thank you.
[0:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm going to like make a sabotage.
[0:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm a self-taught woman.
[0:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm just going to be performing it.
[0:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm not going to worry about it.
[0:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh my god, Dana, we need to bend that from the lexicon because I just watched the Valley reunion part 1.
[1:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes.
[1:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, a formative, a formative like guys, take that off.
[1:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's OK.
[1:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I also want to tell a vision show where people perform, but are, right?
[1:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That is very true, that is very true.
[1:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, guys, we're gonna go a couple by couple as usual.
[1:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's not many couples because a lot of it was the dinner party, which is always so fun, especially since they've given them permission to like, screw you are the fellow couples too.
[1:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's not what they said, but basically that's what it is.
[1:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's like, chime in and have all the thoughts that you have.
[1:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And as always, if I find any like social media findings or things that you guys send me, I'll sprinkle that in.
[1:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Episode 10 is out so check that out.
[1:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's a whole bunch of social media.
[1:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I talked about Sean.
[1:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I talked about Nick and, you know, a little bit of this and that so check that out.
[1:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, Nick and Sean, we unfortunately have to start this episode with bad vibes, you know, because it starts with them.
[1:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he is still arguing in semantics.
[1:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm still grossed out.
[2:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: by everything that happened in the last episode and still standing on business tentals down saying I did not say that and again, semantics.
[2:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You did not take wifely duties, but you said as a wife, you should fulfill this need and just the fact that he wanted to have this conversation in his towel, get me out of here.
[2:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: There was something very,
[2:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't even know the word.
[2:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I can try and think about it for a couple of days.
[2:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't have the word.
[2:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But the fact that she is fully dressed and he's in the towel, it just felt uncomfortable.
[2:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like a different level of discomfort where it was almost like, if she were to say yes in that moment, the towel would have flipped off, you know what I mean?
[2:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Because it almost like he came out of the shower and he was like, what can we be a little cross on this show?
[2:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, it seems like he was in the shower.
[2:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He was like, I want to get myself off, but I don't want to do that.
[2:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't want to give myself the dopamine hit.
[2:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It should be my wife.
[2:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I'm going to leave the shower and see if she's open to it, right?
[3:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And at the beginning of the episode, where he's trying to kind of talk it down and be like, no, that's not what I was saying.
[3:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: like you said, it is exactly what he was saying.
[3:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And when he switches the conversation to be like, it should just be how it flows between us.
[3:14] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like, if you feel like you want to give me a kiss, or you feel like we feel like something's about to happen, let it happen.
[3:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay.
[3:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But then why did you approach her and say, this is what I want.
[3:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You're not allowing it to happen.
[3:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You're asking her if certain actions can happen.
[3:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That's not natural.
[3:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And it's so impressed with her.
[3:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: the way she carried herself, when she approached him with this conversation, because she was like, it made me feel uncomfortable, it made me feel like pressure, but she wasn't like turned off by him like the rest of us were.
[3:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like to me, that would be the end, but she was, she's very committed to this, and I have to give her props for that.
[3:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, and I think I've said that before like usually I hate when they say I'm trying I'm trying but I think Nikki's way of trying is the only acceptable trying that I'll take on maps and yes you I agree with everything you just said and it was just.
[4:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You can put a t-shirt on, you can wear shorts.
[4:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just, you know, and the way it was so business like a proposal that was like, I just felt like, would you want to give me pleasure?
[4:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then he's like, mutual pleasure.
[4:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: How is it mutual?
[4:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She didn't ask.
[4:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You are the one asking.
[4:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She has told you time and time again.
[4:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not ready.
[4:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not there.
[4:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm working myself there.
[4:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She pretty much straddled you.
[4:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm shocked.
[4:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But she is.
[4:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She straddled you.
[4:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She kissed you.
[4:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, she likes it.
[4:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Doesn't mean she's ready to take that leap.
[4:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like it just sounds like reverse psychology and again, I don't want to put his intent out.
[4:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We're just discussing what it looks like to us as viewers and it just feels like some kind of reverse psychology that you're trying to like
[4:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: feel this need for me.
[4:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I can't cheat.
[4:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So it's you.
[4:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And if I do cheat, it's because you didn't feel this need.
[4:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's how I'm reading it.
[4:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, a hundred percent.
[4:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And there was this thing about the way he, sorry, but I'm just going to turn it back to it.
[4:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The way that he was, you know, sort of approaching her, like, like off cam, or sorry, on camera, but not to her, where he's like,
[5:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Please, of course she's attracted to me.
[5:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She talked me down with food in her mouth.
[5:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So, and she said that in this episode too, I think, to the camera where he said, like, not attracted to me because she wanted to.
[5:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So, he doesn't believe her, and I do, right?
[5:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like, she's slowly trying to gradually get there, but because he doesn't believe she's not attracted to him, he doesn't understand the disconnect.
[5:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, because I think that, yeah, the confessional, he is playing to the camera like to be nice and then off camera in his confessionals, we see the true him and that's why I said like there's a 0.001% chance maybe they did do something and they're not talking about it, but if they did do something, Dr. Best is not keeping that to himself.
[5:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's going to say it.
[5:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I don't think that's the thing.
[5:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just floated that out there, but it's just hmm.
[5:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Anyways, again, I just want to reiterate he did not say wifely duties.
[6:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We can give him that, but what he did say is it is part of being a white, same difference as far as I'm concerned, a hundred percent.
[6:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he does that thing where he presents as being reasonable, saying that yes, I'd like physical touch if you're down to allow that sure.
[6:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And if not that's cool, but again, she's set her boundaries already.
[6:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why you presented again again in a towel, but whatever.
[6:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she went ahead and said, like, I don't think that was Valentine's like you were speaking your truth.
[6:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, you know, but are you expecting us to have sex in the next three weeks before decision day?
[6:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's like, there's no expectations for inner course.
[6:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I always tell you guys, listen to what they're saying because not inner course, but we got a
[6:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why am I doing that gesture?
[6:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But they got it.
[6:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, maybe something.
[6:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But he's certainly not going to have a platonic friendship with someone during the entire interaction and be like, hey, we're friends, friends at first sight.
[6:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And stay married to a friend.
[6:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's not healthy and there has to be growth.
[7:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's like, okay, once again, I understand.
[7:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But what does I look like for you?
[7:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he's like, I don't know, but there has to be growth.
[7:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like, say what you need to me, what you say with your chest.
[7:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, don't now say, I don't know.
[7:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's like, you, we know our current state.
[7:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We kiss here and there.
[7:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We like it.
[7:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We enjoy it.
[7:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We're progressing.
[7:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And if you have to say we have to progress in three weeks, what does that look like for you?
[7:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, shout out to her for still like, you got to answer this question.
[7:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[7:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Let's be on the same page because clearly I'm telling you where I stand.
[7:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You're not listening to me.
[7:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I have to
[7:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't think he's ever going to say it though.
[7:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He's not going to say blow drop.
[7:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He's not going to say like this is what I need right because it's so
[7:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: At least he knows that that's a whole other level of inappropriate, but I feel like he kind of did say he wants the mutual that's her vision he wants those things right and I just as a woman myself, first of all, I would never go on a show like this because I am a slow burn and so I as much as I good job thinking a slow burn, stay the fuck away from max, luckily, and I know it takes me a really long time to be attracted to someone to get there, so I look at these shows is something like I would never do, but.
[8:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You know, I understand I know that myself it would take me a really long time to get to a place to feel like I to be naked with someone and to be intimate with them is the most vulnerable you can be think about it right to be naked is literally the most vulnerable so to do that with someone you hardly know and I know people do that right one night stay on whatever that's just not me and I feel like it's not a lot of the women on this show as well and so but every time you push back on that it does put pressure on the woman and it makes her
[8:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: go back into her shell a little bit more, right?
[8:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like, if I was slowly trying to get there with someone and he kept bringing it up, it would just, it would, it would prevent the progress for me.
[8:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I remember the, yeah.
[8:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think the only pushback I would give is like, a lot of this women, I don't necessarily think there's slow burns.
[9:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They just don't like the men that they're with.
[9:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think that's what it is.
[9:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think I know a lot of people being like, oh, if they gave Nicky the 300k, six feet, five man, we should have an issue.
[9:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't think she needs to have an issue because she is vocal about it.
[9:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not physically attracted.
[9:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think Nicky is the only one who's not a slow burn.
[9:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think Courtney has such a slow burn, Caitlin, whoever.
[9:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Nicky is not saying she's a slow burn.
[9:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's just saying,
[9:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: just not attractive to you.
[9:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we got it.
[9:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's going to be slow because maybe your personality will bring me around.
[9:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And for the shots of that.
[9:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, and for the shots of the world, I don't understand why they don't go the route.
[9:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like again, the biggest example is Jamie and Doug.
[9:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If you just slow your roll, stay back, like go into a pace.
[9:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It is what it is.
[9:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It happens faster.
[9:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Even as recent as Greg and Diana season nine, she was also saying like, you know, I'm going back.
[9:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, you know, I'm going at a pace.
[10:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I still don't know you.
[10:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But the more you relax, the more you make a person feel safe, I know he's like that.
[10:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That is so overused, but women love to feel safe because we don't feel that right.
[10:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, we don't feel that a lot.
[10:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like a lot of people, like even to the people that they're married to or in relationship, they don't feel safe if they want to be honest.
[10:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So when they do feel that safety, they meet that person, they're getting that safety.
[10:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like
[10:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Penny dropper, like just stay and let it be, but the fact that you keep saying, we'll go at your pace, but you keep pushing, that's make signal.
[10:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, I'm great.
[10:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Lady Boehner, man.
[10:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So okay, so he says like, you know, the thing is if we are vibing and we decide to touch each other, let's do that.
[10:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's like, well, there's a velocity difference, right?
[10:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he's like, I don't even know what velocity means.
[10:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And that makes me laugh because if one of them is frustrated at their corporate speed, imagine how we feel, you know?
[10:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And honestly, this man is just lying.
[10:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's not cool with their pace, right?
[11:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He or like, he's not cool with the fact that there's no intercourse or anything in between.
[11:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Dr. Bess wants to fuck.
[11:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, so Nikki tells us that she doesn't think there's space in his mind for a gradual progression that cares for the emotional side of their relationship and he is over indexing on marriage that married equals to physical and sexual access to her and he doesn't.
[11:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Right.
[11:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Sure.
[11:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he can help himself because this is where in the confessional he is like, no, he tells her he takes it up a notch to her and is like, did you think about velocity in your last relationship?
[11:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's like, no, because there was an attraction and he's like, exactly, if you're ready to do something, be ready.
[11:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then he crosses his arms and he's like, if there's a vibe, then we're ready.
[11:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then I'm like, okay, relax.
[11:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is not.
[11:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: going to get you where you want to go, you know?
[11:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: No, but fine.
[11:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: If we're ready, then we're ready.
[11:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Then why ask her if she's willing to do mac and mutual masturbation, right?
[11:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Just let it happen.
[11:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Stop bringing it up.
[11:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because he thinks it's a duty.
[12:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He didn't say the word.
[12:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He thinks it's her duty to give him release.
[12:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, you know,
[12:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Did you just be like, we would?
[12:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Are you like, for real?
[12:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's like, that's so hot.
[12:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not ready.
[12:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm gonna be like, I know you fucking line.
[12:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm gonna walk out because no.
[12:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Anyways, all right, any last thoughts in them before we move on?
[12:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I guess I just want to say like I actually really liked him at the very beginning, like in the very first episode.
[12:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm so like, yes, underdog.
[12:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He's smart.
[12:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He's the best.
[12:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He's dated all of these women who saw him for who he truly was.
[12:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And so I'm disappointed when I guess the man who we were sort of rooting for because they were kind of the underdog.
[12:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And maybe work the best looking.
[12:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You didn't have all the things.
[12:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: turns out to be like, just as much of a piece of shit as the roots.
[12:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You know what I mean?
[12:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm just disappointed.
[12:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like, I feel like if he was a better guy, this could have so worked out.
[12:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I mean, we don't know what happens at the end, but I even though she's being very positive, I just don't see this working now.
[12:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, I don't see they should go their separate ways and I, you know, I don't want to say then I don't actually don't this by what you know a lot of people think I don't think he's bad looking I just think he's short.
[13:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, it's about looking yeah and the thing is and like you said if he had better character this would be great like I don't think it's like I said it's not anything about the height and I think when people were like oh well she said she didn't mind like you could make up for the parts I'm like yes, but.
[13:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: five six five six five six five six is the average height for women.
[13:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, you know, it I totally get it right you want to feel like someone can cuddle you and and make you feel safe right so I do understand that concept but she.
[13:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: After a little while was pretty open to it.
[13:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Oh, and one last thing I wanted to say about them.
[13:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't know if you saw this on threads.
[13:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Did you see that he's releasing a book?
[13:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, yeah, I talked about it.
[13:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm going to last.
[13:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Sorry.
[13:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm going to stop.
[13:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No, it's okay.
[13:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I talked about the fact that Sean, this is the other thing that's not helping.
[14:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It just feels like he's here.
[14:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: for other reasons, much like this season.
[14:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Thank you very much.
[14:08] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Thank you very much.
[14:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, and somebody else sent me something, talked about, um, he tried to get another show, you know, on, oh, he has a YouTube is mom.
[14:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I hope that I see before this episode, he's talking about,
[14:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I haven't gotten to, I tried to not watch the episodes ahead, so I can have like general reaction.
[14:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I guess it's something about being bougie and he has a caption talking about they match me with someone who matches the bougie and he's posting all the things he considers bougie and I'm just, you know, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor, a doctor
[14:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You have a long, beautiful life, but yeah, okay.
[14:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Let's talk about Michelin Cameron, the hope of the season so far.
[14:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm still like, like I said last episode, I'm still not completely sold.
[14:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, no, I am sold in that they look so cute together, but he just feels like something is going to pop up last minute.
[15:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I hope not, as always, I hope he works out, but like I said,
[15:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I want to be prepared, you know.
[15:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[15:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So they're having their expert session and they're having it with paths.
[15:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I've been wondering how they decide who gets which expert and not for nothing, I don't think it means anything, but all I know is Paul has only had the black couples, that's the only thing I've seen in passes at the rest, unless I'm remembering wrong, but he had mecha and Bill Jolie, he had Sean and Nikki, and I don't think he's met with anyone else one on one.
[15:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He didn't have Adam and Marissa today.
[15:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: not one on one.
[15:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't think so.
[15:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Right, it correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe she's like a sex therapist, but that being said, even the session with Cam and Michelle wasn't necessarily that much about that.
[15:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, um, yeah, I don't know how they decide that that's a good.
[15:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, but that being said, and we'll get there obviously, but I'm glad that Paul sat down with me.
[16:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm actually, because he did owe the money.
[16:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Say it what I said.
[16:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, and okay, so I have been curious about Paul's location because he used to live in the UK His business is there his best friend is there.
[16:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know if he's now back in the States just for filming It sounds so tedious because they're already casting for I want to say Charlotte
[16:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I don't know.
[16:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know what his location or where he is, you know, right now.
[16:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Michelle tells her that they did an amazing job and they're still so surprised, you know how well match they are.
[16:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Pass goes straight to intimacy and is like, how is that going?
[16:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They say it's good.
[16:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Cam says he's so attracted to her and he can't get enough of her.
[16:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He was like, you know, I was in Portland.
[16:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I was supposed to drive up this morning, but I miss her so much that I was just like I'm driving up last night.
[16:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And like I always say he's so surprised that he's feelings.
[16:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm glad that he's not running away from them.
[16:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's talking into them.
[16:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And
[16:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: fully immersing himself in the experience.
[17:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I know people like to ascribe people like Caitlyn St. Oh, I'm uncomfortable.
[17:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is too much for me.
[17:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But Cam is the opposite of that, not the opposite.
[17:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The other spectrum of that where it is uncomfortable, but it's leaning into it.
[17:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's not saying, I don't do this.
[17:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just met her.
[17:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I did it was like, you know, I like the scroll.
[17:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I'm going to do it.
[17:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She wants me to text like, okay, is this cool with you?
[17:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm going to do it.
[17:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We're going to talk about it.
[17:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, I didn't like that.
[17:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She wanted someone who made a certain amount of money, but you know what?
[17:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's fine with it.
[17:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So then let me roll with that.
[17:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They didn't become a big deal where in past we've seen people like, oh, she wants only makes a lot of money.
[17:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I can't be with someone who's super fit and then it becomes this big old thing.
[17:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's easy because they move past it to overlook the fact that they work through that and even she I didn't really like it but it worked for them when she's like, you know, maybe I had to like look at things differently, maybe money is in the center of anything and they found you know some kind of compromise so I'm just giving them their props because it's easy to say they're not fighting they're not, you know, disagreeing but it's because they're working through.
[18:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: right and the communication is so good because even when I had that conversation about money, you see them come home later and he's like, you know, I felt a little masculine to buy that and they talk through it as opposed to just determining that that's the person's character and running with it right and not being able to let it go.
[18:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And we did see Cam earlier on in the season show some fear because
[18:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I mean, I feel the same way, if I'd never been in a relationship, then I jumped into this.
[18:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'd be scared as well.
[18:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And it's interesting because everyone else in this experiment has been in relationships and they're showing so much more fear than Cam.
[18:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But like he said, he had this fear early on.
[18:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But then it seems like he's worked through it and pushed through it and is really, I think a lot of it has to do with just how much he values her.
[18:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He did, like he said in the, in the expert session, he didn't expect to feel this way.
[18:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He didn't expect to feel so comfortable and because of that, he's leaning in.
[18:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But also because he wants to, right, if you're like with other people or some of the other couples, they're not there yet where they want to, especially like says something like Courtney who like hates Nick right so like she doesn't want to lean in and do these small things because that's like the biggest burden to her while with cam, it's like anything I can do because I'm so immersed in this I'm so happy so I'm happy for him too, but yeah, I it does give me like a fear almost like.
[19:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We'll see in the next episode with Felipe where it's just like, whoa, should I have done this entire thing and do I even want marriage right and you could see that happening with someone who has never really had a relationship, but he seems like he's leaned in, he seems like he's so into her and so I think there are golden couple of the season.
[19:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[19:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They are.
[19:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, they're both trying to compromise.
[19:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're telling past on both their careers and how it's going to work for them.
[19:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And a little bit of social media, he did announce that he took a new job.
[19:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, he's the assistant coach for Kelly East Bay College.
[19:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He is in California.
[19:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, that's a big move.
[19:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I don't know if it's like a long-distance relationship, if she moved, if they didn't work, I don't know, I don't know what that.
[20:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't even know why they're allowed to share this.
[20:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I've moved past the fact that there accounts are open.
[20:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: In the past, there accounts were closed whenever saw anything, but what does this mean?
[20:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Don't don't don't.
[20:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Just that mean and that's crazy because she was really open to going somewhere else, but not that far.
[20:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Right.
[20:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And she wanted to be close enough to her family.
[20:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like I do understand that whole thing of like to move somewhere for someone's job is one thing, but it's another when you have no friends or family in that place.
[20:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And then you're trying to raise a family and you don't have your parents to help and you don't have people around you.
[20:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I could see that being a deal breaker.
[20:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, I mean, the good side is like, I mean, it's still on the west coast.
[20:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So it's not terribly so far, and maybe they are giving time before kids.
[20:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know, but we'll see.
[20:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I honestly cannot wait for the reunion.
[20:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: A lot of great, like there's just so many questions, like I just want the experts to be like, why did we match these people when all the red flags, like literally?
[21:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They need to get one of those experts from like any of those reality, not experts.
[21:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Sorry.
[21:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The, um, the line detector guy who has been on like every housewife show and have to be like, did you just match these people to fuck with us.
[21:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All the other.
[21:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, you know, that would be so fun to see that.
[21:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, yes.
[21:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He did post about his last day.
[21:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is still Cam at the Portland School that he's currently coaching and I think this was about March or I missed a date, but anyway, he's done and he's moving to Cali.
[21:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we'll see what that means by the end.
[21:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says he's always had to think about himself, but now he's expanding his dream and thinking about her.
[21:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says what's so nice about him is that he's emotionally intelligent and he's able to communicate his feelings with her.
[21:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says he just talks so nice about me and he's just never had a woman say all this nice things and it feels different and he tears up.
[21:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm just like, this is really deep.
[21:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like the one thing we can agree on is like all the couples
[22:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: needed to have some soft reflection in therapy before they came on the show, but maybe that's asking too much because to be so taken aback that someone's saying nice things about you, that's pretty deep like I thought about this and I think that if you've never had a long term relationship, then maybe and you've just had flings maybe you're not having those deep conversations with partners and you're not getting that
[22:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: nice feedback.
[22:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So yeah, I think that kind of makes sense.
[22:28] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like if you're only having flings when it's a woman really saying all this nice stuff to you.
[22:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is true, right?
[22:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I've always had this thing like even in situationships, like yes, you're not exclusive and you don't, you know, it's not a boyfriend girlfriend situation, but the people you're having in situationships with should be nice to you.
[22:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There should be a level of respect there.
[22:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So like,
[22:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If you're just sleeping together, maybe having a snack or whatever, do not even saying like, you know what, you're good, nothing good.
[22:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's crazy.
[23:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm surprised by that that way around, right?
[23:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like a woman, like even if he's never had a long-term relationship, I'm sure the women he's had situationships with probably wanted ones.
[23:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I'm sure they were thing nice things.
[23:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I could see a guy not doing that because he doesn't want to give you the wrong idea of like saying anything nice to you, right?
[23:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I
[23:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That is interesting and I wonder if we'll get more about that at the Rio and maybe a little bit more of his backstory because I really say for Michelle and Cam, those are the two I know the least about it before this.
[23:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So yeah, so he says he feels his life trajectory is going to go way up with her in her in his life that is such a good compliment.
[23:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And, you know, she says she feels good and she feels lucky and he says I feel lucky.
[23:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And paths asked, do you have feelings of love and guys?
[23:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Besides the heavy consummated marriage question, I hate this.
[23:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I hate this pressure to feel love.
[23:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We saw in the last episode where Paul was so short that Bill Jolie wasn't love.
[23:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And kind of was like, you love him.
[23:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But you just don't want to say, let's stop it.
[23:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The three weeks come down.
[23:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Stop combing people and even if she does feel it if she doesn't want to say you don't force her to say it That's right.
[24:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That's pressure is well.
[24:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's like Like the Sean shit Yeah That's like yeah But let people go at their pace, you know So anyways, he was like well, that's a good question because I don't know the difference I've never told a woman I love her so what's difference between loving her liking her?
[24:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know so past tells him to reflect on how Michelle makes him feel
[24:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and how he hasn't felt that way before.
[24:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Much like a lot past says, I don't know what that means.
[24:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maybe it is smart, but I don't know what that means.
[24:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like he just told you, I don't know the difference between the feeling and you're like, how does she make you feel and then you haven't felt that way before?
[24:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What is supposed to do with that?
[24:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, it was just me.
[24:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But Michelle says, she feels like he is her person and he says, me too, and it's like, oh, so cute.
[24:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, they're good, they're good one.
[24:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: OK. All right, I'm going to take a quick break.
[24:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And we are back to talk about Cortanae and Nick, and if you miss January 6th, I call her different things.
[25:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I call her Cortanae, I call her one six, you know, you you catch the drift either way.
[25:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Something like I do call her Courtney, but I don't think we talk enough about her name is spelled.
[25:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They just hit me the other day.
[25:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I'm sorry, you said that on the road.
[25:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's you're like, there's another year there.
[25:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Next.
[25:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Sure.
[25:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You need.
[25:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's just as much as it is Cortanae.
[25:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she has candles and stuff and then he walks in and is like, are you ready to get intimate?
[25:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like, oh my god.
[25:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Did you say that I miss that?
[25:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's like, she was probably joking as usual.
[25:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She said that, okay.
[25:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, she did, oh no, not him, please.
[25:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Around her, he's just me.
[25:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He doesn't say anything around her.
[25:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He has no personality around her.
[25:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And this goes back to what I'm thinking is like, they're gonna be with each other six weeks.
[25:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No one's leaving anything.
[25:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's just like, all right,
[25:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All the things that you want me to do.
[25:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think I want to say like much like we see Sean with the red ropes and the candles and the senses and then now she's doing Are you ready to get intimate again?
[26:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is the sex episode without it being explicitly said Because they're not actually doing you know Dr. P is not hearing you more to be like, oh, this is your homework This way you want to do so they just don't want it to be out there, but to me because of all the things they're doing this is
[26:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: their version.
[26:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think you're so right because even came in Michelle, which I didn't write down because it was like, yeah, on the ends where they said on a bench, we're feeding each other, like chocolate coverage strawberries and all that stuff.
[26:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So it was the same mentality, like normally you would do that maybe at home to like lead you to sex.
[26:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But yeah, everything had that sexual undertone in this episode.
[26:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, yes.
[26:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You are absolutely right.
[26:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When did that, um, do that happen afterwards?
[26:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think it was just, but I wrote it down and I, but I wouldn't really read it because I'm just like, there's nothing to write down here.
[26:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And she put the marshmallow on her lips.
[26:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The marshmallows and everything.
[26:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, I know I wrote it down and I'm just wondering why
[26:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That didn't come up because it was really pretty, it was really pretty and it was really nice because you know the sun even came out and was like the third person in their little thing and it was like everything was aligned and you know they did the taste test and they just talked about all things and then he teared up again and you know I just felt really happy for them yeah with that so she has like I said the whole intimate thing all right
[27:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says that intimacy is more than just, you know, the sex side, yada yada yada, she does that a lot.
[27:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says something and she just says yada yada yada.
[27:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says that if this wasn't an exercise, she would never do this because it's corny and lingerie is cute, but you get naked anyways and who cares?
[27:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, way to kill the moon.
[27:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just, she can't breathe.
[27:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Everything in your head doesn't have to come out your mouth.
[27:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Just,
[27:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, let it go.
[27:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, and of course, Nick is just like, uh-huh.
[27:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He goes music and just smiling like, does this nothing I can do with this.
[27:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm exactly the time he feels he's like, I can't I can't win here.
[27:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I can never win with this girl.
[27:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So um, she has a bowl of lollipops because I think she said it that she's obsessed with them.
[28:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If you've noticed that she always has any shadow at her birthday party.
[28:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know.
[28:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, when she went to see her family, they both had in the car and all that.
[28:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she asked that and she also has a bowl of questions.
[28:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So they're picking up questions.
[28:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Of course, where's the weirdest place you've ever had sex with?
[28:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What hurt you the most in your past relationship?
[28:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She did say that she was cheated on, which she has said before, but she said I was face timing him and then there was a girl on there and he said we were doing homework.
[28:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, how old were you?
[28:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay, so here's the thing.
[28:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Some of these people on this show, we have to remember how young they are.
[28:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She is 28, which means she's only been at a high school for 10 years, which, you know, some of these people are much older.
[28:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We've got like 46 and 48 with Nicky and Sean, I don't want to diminish the relationships you have while you're in school, but they are a different level than the ones you have outside of that.
[28:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She hasn't really clarified,
[28:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Nick has been like have you had long term relationships like I had one year and a two years, but the more we get about it, which is only little bit, it doesn't like they were a long time ago and they were in school and they may not have even been like true relationships, she made to see saying that because she did she feels embarrassed by maybe not having a real one, it's actually like maybe a high school situation ship so.
[29:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes, but the fact that it was 10 years ago, if that's what you're talking about and you're not over yet and you could see how But herk she still is about you can cheat it on right and yes, this is a girl that need a therapy very much before doing something like this.
[29:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, let's give her a little leeway, maybe college
[29:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, but either way, it just feels like a long time ago because what like 21 would be when you graduate and it's like, and she speaks about it so vividly, you're right.
[29:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, she still talks about like it was so impactful and she's like, happy and all that.
[29:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So yeah, but that was how I was like, how old were you if you were doing homework.
[29:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So.
[29:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, the ask what's a question you always wanted to ask your parents and Nick says I would ask if they're proud of me and she's like, oh, doesn't matter what they think I'm like, you said like you care what your parents think about you like who wouldn't want, you know, all things being equal, I don't want to erase the fact that some people don't have a good relationship with their, you know, parents.
[30:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I love.
[30:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, I was trying to be, you know, inclusive of everyone, but all things being equal because Nick has been vocal about I'm close to my parents and close to my family list.
[30:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So it's not so strange that he will want them to be proud of her and also for the fact that she keeps saying, Oh, I want to be close to my family when I have kids I want to be around that we don't think is an excuse, but we'll get there, but it's like the way she made it seem like that was such a why do you need their approval.
[30:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maybe that's all what she meant, but that's how he came out was like, do you care what they think?
[30:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes, it did come off that way, but at the same time, I think this was the first time we got something from him in terms of his personality and it's feelings and what he cares about.
[30:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I wonder if he really is this flat as a person, like I've never seen him on any of his other shows that he's been on and you would think that we technically should know him better than any other person on their show because he's been on other shows.
[31:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But I also wonder if what you said earlier, rings true about how we sort of like mute himself or limits himself around.
[31:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: and maybe we're just not getting the personality that he truly has because he feels like almost like with Devon where he has to dim his light around her because there's got to be more to this guy and he's so handsome.
[31:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, he's absolutely dimming himself.
[31:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We can see that in little snippets because he's very talkative in the confessionals.
[31:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You see, just come alive.
[31:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And the thing that's like most of what he's done is competitive shows, right?
[31:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's his where he shines.
[31:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The funny part is the other show where I feel like he wasn't at his best was the dating show in perfect match.
[31:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay.
[31:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he doesn't show it.
[31:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[31:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay.
[31:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's not much.
[31:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I wouldn't watch.
[31:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, I don't have less time these days, but yes, and he didn't do so well on there and that could be part of it.
[31:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's easy to not notice that
[32:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: putting forth or being surface with perfect match because that's a show nobody takes seriously.
[32:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's like bottom barrel, but it just gives me joy.
[32:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So it's like, and everyone there is just like, I just want to be on TV, so you don't take a seriously, but he didn't do so great, you know, on there.
[32:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So that's funny that that's another dating show on there.
[32:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I do feel like,
[32:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Even if it wasn't court me, I wonder if this is just not Nick and I think when Camille was on the show she pointed that out that it's like he's so polished like he just knows what to say maybe I'm still protecting my image so I can be on other shows.
[32:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't want to ruin my chances if I'm going to be on other shows.
[32:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm just going to say the right thing and I'm not going to be like a flat out villain, you know.
[32:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He probably is because he doesn't know any different to me, he's coming off super genuine.
[32:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And maybe I'm just an idiot.
[32:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I never side with him and ever, but like, I just, I don't know, I don't know if that's when he's trying it.
[33:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That's not the vibe I get.
[33:03] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I really believed him when he said early on, hey, I have a nine to five in tech.
[33:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't have a manager.
[33:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I just really want to find a way.
[33:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And to see, you know what it is, it's not necessarily self-produced in that,
[33:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What I'm trying to say is like, he doesn't want to see the wrong thing, not like or I'm saying what you think I want to hear and all that is just more that's why when you ask him what are the things that you know bother you what are your pain points is like I don't want to say anything that's going to pay me I'm building that kind of it he's self edited let me put it that way okay that's the group therapy it's like say something that you know you want to share and all I can't think of anything.
[33:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, your conservative, what are the things that you align with or don't?
[33:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hmm, I can't think of anything.
[33:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If I say nothing, you can't come for me for something I never said.
[33:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That kind of satisfaction.
[33:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: A little social media tea.
[33:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I don't know if you caught this.
[33:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It was a little while back.
[33:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He was doing an AMA on Instagram.
[34:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And somebody asked him about his conservative views.
[34:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And he said, I actually did say more than that.
[34:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They cut it, but he said that he believes in gay rights.
[34:08] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm just putting that up there that he did say that allegedly and they cut it.
[34:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, okay.
[34:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay.
[34:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just, I, Nick doesn't, I believe him because I'll believe what he's saying and because of just the state of our country.
[34:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But he didn't read like if I had to guess, I wouldn't have put him as conservative because like I said, same, what I was watching and I was like, wait, what?
[34:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, are you actually just a plant and you're just saying this because that's what you were told in.
[34:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: you're going to be matched with cartoon A, but I don't know.
[34:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't understand.
[34:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't understand Nick.
[34:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So yeah.
[34:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he just says like, and then Courtney is like, did you?
[34:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is this why you want physical touch?
[34:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because you know, you never had it from your family, you know, that's why he's so much to you.
[34:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he says he's not from a physical touch family.
[34:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And that's why it is meaningful to him.
[34:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he feels like anytime he says physical that she jumps straight to sex, but it's not that it's a smallest thing and it's just like he just wants the only time he gets physical affection is from a relationship and I'm like, yes, because I've mentioned this I was like, I did keep saying that because past says it to like, oh, you just want that I'm like, this man is now I don't think he wants Courtney that way, no offense, but he just wants to feel like the handholding like to feel completely one thing I do believe I do think Nick is lonely.
[35:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I do think Nick is lonely because he's not putting out his true self.
[35:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I do think being on TV has created some insecurities or whatever.
[35:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he covered that up with all his humor and all that kind of stuff.
[35:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I do think he would like to meet someone.
[35:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But where the focus is on mecca being a self sabotage, I do think he is too because you're not bringing out your true self for fear of someone actually seeing who you really are and you being called fraudulent.
[35:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Even though that's not what it is, but the mind can play tricks on you and I think
[35:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Again, another person with is a lot to work through, you know, I think you're absolutely right because like as handsome as he is and as kind as he is and as outgoing we still don't know anything about him and if I were in a situation where I was set up with this guy or even if we went on a date naturally.
[36:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: After a couple of days, if I'm not really getting anything from you, I am going to move on, right, because you don't fall in love Allegedly with the outside.
[36:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You got to fall in with the inside, but if you're not giving us any inside.
[36:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I will give Courtney a little bit of grace on that.
[36:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Again, but that being said, but she's just in the wrong space.
[36:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She shouldn't be here.
[36:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, I mean, I usually, I don't get Courtney any grace.
[36:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I know I should, but I choose not to have free will.
[36:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But she's latching on to anything that she can.
[36:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's just like, well, you give me nothing.
[36:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And yeah, I'm going to stick to that when the grandmother is like, you said at the top of the episode, she hates it.
[36:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She can't find this good.
[36:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And this is her pathway to influencer,
[36:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's never coming on this spot.
[36:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's the way I have to do it.
[36:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Do you think it was not also going to have them on?
[36:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Because I know we had to think her path on, but do you think he's going to go around and do everybody?
[37:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, he does everybody.
[37:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't mean that way, but he does all the shows and he gets all the in.
[37:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So more than like, yeah, I think so.
[37:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then who would it want to be?
[37:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like he's like the number one for interviewing people.
[37:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think a lot of them would be happy, you know, to be on there.
[37:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, you know, yeah.
[37:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, Nikki says, like this is, I said, Nikki, Nick says, it's just nice that they're both in the same room and they're being present and he just loves this.
[37:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then, you know, he's like, I'm gonna kiss you now and they kiss and I gotta look.
[37:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You know, it's so awkward.
[37:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's like the parents of the start.
[37:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, and there's just, they don't have chemistry.
[37:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And, you know, we've seen just how much she just doesn't care for him and we know that,
[37:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If you recall the conversation when they were driving to see her family and she's like, would you live in Portland?
[37:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's like, nope, and that was it.
[37:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He was like, what that might be a deal breaker.
[37:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It was a joke, but that might be serious.
[37:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, it just feels like they're not end games.
[38:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They both know it.
[38:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Let's just write it out and we're just on for the right, you know?
[38:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I can't even imagine them writing it out to be honest just because again, I hate to give him any a lot of grace, but like every time she says something really demeaning about him and front of everybody else you see his face drop and it's whole body drop and it's I don't know that I could spend six weeks with somebody who hates me like that's a fuck of you.
[38:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, yeah.
[38:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All right, we'll take a quick break and I'll be right back.
[38:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All right, we're back to talk about Tori and Felipe.
[38:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They go to his apartment.
[38:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: His apartment is nice.
[38:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, the view, the lights, all the views, it's airy, and he was like, one kind of shady thing though.
[38:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I know Felipe thinks he's hot now, but he needs to pay attention to leg day.
[38:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Let's get some legs working, like the leg day.
[38:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Let's check it out, see if you think they're too chickeny?
[38:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, this doesn't work.
[38:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, Felipe asked, like, would you want to move in immediately and she's like, I mean, for thing about kids?
[39:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like, what is with these people?
[39:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You have things to talk about now, get to know each other and everyone's just talking about kids and I'm like, let's pace ourselves, okay?
[39:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, let's see what happens in the next year.
[39:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he's like, oh, I hate living in the suburbs and she's like, well, we're going to need a yard for kids.
[39:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like,
[39:21] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay, but the screen can't even fathom that he's like, but then how do I go out for him?
[39:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, I have a baby.
[39:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Can I take a baby to the club like what do I do?
[39:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So bring a baby to the club.
[39:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No, feeling that looks like the kind that would create like, I don't know.
[39:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Taco Tuesday night at his restaurant.
[39:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he's like, hey, I'm working.
[39:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And but there's something he has to be all night there for, um, and then she's like,
[39:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If the person that I am with and love wants children, I can see it being a fulfilling life.
[39:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I tell you guys, it's very important to listen to how people say things.
[40:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because I, yes, would have sufficed.
[40:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Do you want kids or do you not?
[40:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Just yes, I do, would have been enough.
[40:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But saying, if the person that I am with and love to your wife,
[40:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: to your wife is insane.
[40:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then saying, I can see a fulfilling life if I end up being a dad, like it's not the worst thing, not the best case, but it isn't.
[40:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, that was a wild answer to me.
[40:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But do you notice that he talks that way about everything?
[40:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like when she says, religion is really important to me, what about you?
[40:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And he's like, if that's what's important to you, then we can raise the children, whatever she is again.
[40:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She's good.
[40:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She's good.
[40:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She's good.
[40:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She's good.
[40:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Oh, I don't know.
[40:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I got the Lutheran.
[40:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think that's a different show.
[40:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, 90 day fiance.
[40:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Lutheran situation.
[40:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But like, you know, like, I feel like that's really nice and everything, but you also have to have your own choices.
[40:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So if my wife doesn't want me to stay out late every night, I will make that change and I will come home.
[40:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That's what he has said this entire time about everything.
[41:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: you should have come into this with your own ideals of what you were looking for as opposed to.
[41:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Did you really just sit there in front of all them be like, match me with anyone because whatever she wants, as long as she looks like do a leapa, whatever she wants, I will do.
[41:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Because that's what's happening here.
[41:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Do you want kids?
[41:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, Felipe is giving noncommittal.
[41:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, I mean, we knew, again, he missed two meetings.
[41:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He was partying, he was drunk and Paul was like, I believe you, you're matched so.
[41:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So he's so color-cooked to me, so color-cooked, open.
[41:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like, to be, you know, just partying until he's 80 years old.
[41:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That's, that's believe, made of me.
[41:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I can see that, and date, I'm not going to forgive you for bringing up Katie in my life.
[41:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Katie from 90, Dave fiancee, when you said Lutheran, because she's the one who's doing all the things, but it has to be Lutheran, Josh.
[41:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It, we're also going to go to hell, Josh.
[41:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We're going to go to hell.
[41:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Not the other things I do with this.
[41:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Something that makes me cry every one I've ever met.
[41:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: but yeah, it was time for another day.
[41:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We digress, but he says it's so much to decide in such a small amount of time, and he's worried about the decision they're about to make.
[42:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Tori gets a pensive look, but here's the thing.
[42:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: For everything that he says, no matter what it is, she gets a pensive look, and then she goes, okay wait, she tells him, well, we're just taking a day by day, but you do you boo.
[42:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then he says, if they both say, yes, then moving in right away is the move.
[42:28] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm like, okay, then to be living together, you would just continue doing that.
[42:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just, I think the first question he even asked was like, would you want to move in immediately, right?
[42:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's like, yes, we're very old.
[42:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes, that decision.
[42:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What?
[42:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We're going to move in.
[42:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We're going to move in.
[42:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We're going to do our separate ways for a little bit.
[42:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, it's got the first time it's happened in the afternoon.
[42:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's like, okay, so we break our lease.
[42:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, so we, oh, okay.
[42:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, this is real because again, Felipe thought I say yes on wedding day and then we go for the ride and after that is like, thank you for the six weeks and bye-eat.
[43:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So yeah.
[43:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But they're going to confessional Tories says that she feels good about their marriage, like they covered a lot of ground with kids and logistics, and this encapsulates both of them.
[43:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Felipe is going to say something really wild, like the last group dinner, and be like, how can I be even out of my mind?
[43:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's like, I like, you know, to be with this person and that person, that at the end when they say, do you want to say yes or no?
[43:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's like, oh yeah, I'll say yes.
[43:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We're fine.
[43:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We're good.
[43:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Tori looks like, huh, this scares me.
[43:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know.
[43:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then in a confessional, it's like, we're great.
[43:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We're good.
[43:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, what is going on with you, too?
[43:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And everyone else is eating it up.
[43:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And they're like, oh, they're a great couple.
[43:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, this man just said, I don't know if I can be faithful.
[43:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And everyone's like, this is great.
[43:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't get it.
[43:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think there's a difference between being honest and being ready because I feel like people put a lot of weight when someone is being honest.
[43:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They're like, well, at least he's being honest.
[43:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay, like if somebody's like, I've cheated on you eight times.
[43:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The response is not, well, at least he was honest, right?
[43:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: The response is, fuck you, right?
[44:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So.
[44:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think because he's so honest and open people are seeing that as him being like really prepared for this or something, they're also a beautiful couple, they also seem to get along really well, but they never seem to be driving on the future, right, except for when he says whatever you want to do, but that doesn't mean a word.
[44:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, it's like it's all hypothetical.
[44:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[44:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Same the words, but he's going to back it up.
[44:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Right.
[44:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And that's why I'm not sure their communication is actually effective because they're talking a lot.
[44:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They are communicating, but it seems like they're talking at each other as opposed to with each other.
[44:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Does that make sense?
[44:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, I take parallel.
[44:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's like, yeah, we're talking about the same thing, but we're going just parallel to each other.
[44:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, exactly at a point and agreed.
[44:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So when she said, we covered ground, I was like, what did you cover?
[44:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, yes, he said, we'll break our lease, but what does that entail?
[44:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That comes into the work.
[44:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, we covered logistics with a kid, but he was like, I can make it work, but what does that entail?
[44:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I do, realistically, you know?
[45:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Does he need to be like, is the suburbs even close to the restaurant, right?
[45:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like, those are logistics that we need to think about.
[45:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[45:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That he didn't even use as an excuse.
[45:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, surprisingly.
[45:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He did.
[45:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All right.
[45:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Let's talk about Mecca and Bill Jolie.
[45:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Take some to the studio.
[45:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I love them too.
[45:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She takes him to the studio and is singing a song.
[45:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I guess that's what you would call it because I don't know if she was going for Afrobeat sound or dance hall or something, but it was not her best word.
[45:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I forgot until this part because first I just thought this was like a she and a she hey, let's go to the studio scene right and I forgot that she was a singer songwriter right so when she was doing this I was like oh
[45:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Oh, like I'm happy for him that he was proud of her, but like she's not good at this.
[45:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Maybe that's why we haven't heard of her before.
[45:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's like a senior song right there.
[45:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think she's an upcoming singer song.
[45:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And also this is one of her many jobs.
[45:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So it's interesting that they chose singer song writer because that's probably the one not giving her money.
[45:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Make a bar to his property gives her money.
[46:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And there's something else she does.
[46:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She teaches dance with something like that.
[46:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I mean, good for her, I hope this takes up.
[46:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Uh, Mecca brings up that, you know, she was in the mood before this and shares that, you know, they went out for the first time the night before they stayed out to late.
[46:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They got home at 430.
[46:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: jealous of this young bucks man staying home and coming home at 430 couldn't nothing.
[46:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I wake up at 430 he says he keeps asking you know like she was mad was she mad and she said he said that she should have told him when she was ready to go earlier and she said she did but he thinks that even the time that she mentioned she was ready to go he was where she was already mad sooner
[46:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, she wonders why they're talking about this now and he says because I know you and I know that I'm in trouble.
[46:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Mech has says, I mean, Bell Jolie says like, I wouldn't say trouble, but she also doesn't say much and this is my problem.
[47:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She does help tell him that she doesn't want him to have that mindset that he's always in trouble.
[47:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because before all of this, it was like a whole thing of like, I know you just say something.
[47:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's like, oh, why do we have talk about it?
[47:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And you know, she gets bashful.
[47:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She gets shy.
[47:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's not really looking at him.
[47:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's just laughing.
[47:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Speak up like if he's annoying you or if you're irritated like he should have just known even if it's irrational But just speak up, but don't say if he like the gift is that he actually wants to talk about it He's not even trying to brush it under the rug like it could be annoying that he's pushing it Maybe she didn't want to do it on camera, but either way
[47:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Talk about it with the situation no matter how uncomfortable it is, instead of just laughing it about it But then she focuses on him saying like you know, I think I'm in trouble and she's just like, you know You're not always in trouble.
[47:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't want you to feel that way and that's what I say is like I want them to work But Belgia Lee was not put on this earth to be mech as fixer like this is not what you should be doing You can't be reassuring him all the time So he says being with someone who accepts all of him is kind of comforting and I'm like for you do the same for her
[48:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, I don't know 100%, 100%.
[48:09] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think her defense mechanism is maybe to go quiet because she also did that when they had the conversation about who's hotter.
[48:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So she's just like, I'm gonna pull back.
[48:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I feel like a lot of women probably do that in relationships.
[48:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm gonna go quiet and then like, you sort of come to me.
[48:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And you're right, they can't, she can't be the reassurance for him.
[48:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think they were put together because they have all this stuff in common.
[48:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Reliant.
[48:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And again, terms of feeling safe, I would feel a lot safer with someone that I have that same sort of background in history with where we sort of share that those commonalities, but like you said, it she can't be the therapist for him, right?
[48:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They're their commonalities are only, it should only be to sort of help support them through.
[48:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: His insecurities, but also just like.
[48:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: data day right like when you just your day to day in a relationship is feeling happy and safe and all those things and I feel like you feel that when you feel like you have commonalities with someone so I feel like that's when they were matched, but it shouldn't be because we have these same sort of histories and belgerly need to.
[49:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: help you with that in a sense, or help you now.
[49:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, I think I'm.
[49:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[49:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's like when we use the in the incorrect way of saying trauma bonding.
[49:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's not trauma.
[49:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[49:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I think the thing is.
[49:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're learning each other, right?
[49:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's just been a few weeks.
[49:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because if there were more seasoned, there is a different approach that Mecca could have approached this, like getting to know her.
[49:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Me, she's one of those people who need to sit on it before they talk about it is, this was not even last night.
[49:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If they came in for 30, this is the same day, that they're doing now.
[49:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it could have been like, hey babe.
[49:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I know you're kind of pissed, you know, or whatever, like, you know, coming late and all that.
[49:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think if you let me know, like a apologize next time, it won't happen whenever you're ready to talk about it.
[50:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Let me know, but I would like to talk about it exactly point exactly point exactly not going about like, Oh, I know, I'm in trouble.
[50:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Are you are you bringing it up because you want to address it and build a stronger relationship?
[50:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Or because oh my god, I feel like I'm in trouble.
[50:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just want to get this over and done with it shouldn't be.
[50:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's all I told you being dead.
[50:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, because of you and I understand because of how he grew up and it's like oh my god, and then it's a domino effect right if I feel like I'm in trouble, then you may hate me, then you may leave me, then you may be like everybody else has left me then it's like, oh god, I should protect myself because oh my god, this may be the thing that makes her leave me.
[50:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, you know, but he needs to understand that she may still leave you.
[50:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That is fact.
[50:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If you're in any relationship, any friendship, anybody, you could be left.
[50:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You just have to be willing to take that risk, but act like until it happens, don't anticipate it happening, you know, but that's hard to ask for him for an out.
[51:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: For a lot of people, I'd say, right?
[51:03] \[SPEAKER_01\]: There's so much PTSD that comes from like past relationships or jobs.
[51:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I mean, even if the current job that I'm in, I've been there six months now.
[51:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And they're constantly telling me I'm doing great.
[51:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I'm like, are you lying to me?
[51:14] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What are you talking about?
[51:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Because of my last drop, I was fired.
[51:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And so I still have all of that in my head.
[51:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And I have to remind myself, there's literally no, it's like on my sticky in front of my desk that you're bringing a sharp, you have the capacity you are smart.
[51:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And then I have to like put those things back into me that we're taking away.
[51:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And you can see, again, someone who probably needs therapy, Mecca probably just needs like to do so much more work on himself and his confidence.
[51:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, because yeah, I mean, to look at something like inter relationship like I'm in trouble.
[51:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I mean, that is something that people do say in relationships, but you don't want it to be like a mother son sort of relationship.
[51:48] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm sorry, mommy.
[51:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I won't do it again.
[51:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's got to be like on an equal level.
[51:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, am I mixing shows is built really the one who has affirmations.
[51:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Somebody makes, yeah, I might be mixing shows.
[52:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There was somebody else from my girlfriend's, because every day that has that.
[52:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But yeah, it's, it's a muscle that you have to practice.
[52:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You have to just like tell yourself every day because the world will break you down and like life is hard and life just comes with not so nice surprises.
[52:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So you know, you have to work through it.
[52:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, okay, Caitlin and Devon,
[52:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He has candles, tells her it's Harry Potter and I, she is so stoked.
[52:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I never seen Caitlyn be this stoked and it's actually a well thought out plan which he says and then the song says playing in the background like Mario's let me love you and like I said we got peacock money because it's the original it's the song.
[52:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's also one of my favorite songs in life and I'm like yeah, why are we using it for these people?
[52:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But it was apt because he was just like, she should just let me love her.
[52:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We all the love that I have to give.
[52:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I felt happy for him because she genuinely seems happy.
[52:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But then he comes on camera and the confessional was like, yeah, on camera, I'm getting more of camera.
[53:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We're just co-existing and passing.
[53:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like all I'm asking for is a good morning.
[53:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I was like, you don't even get a good morning.
[53:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He wants a hug.
[53:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He was like, they don't even kiss.
[53:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But hopefully they have a good night.
[53:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maybe she will see me.
[53:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like,
[53:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, the eat dinner, they play Harry Potter games, they're eating, they're even making like, was it a butter beer, or does that work?
[53:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: There I was like, what are they eating, okay?
[53:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know what they're eating in the picture.
[53:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, but they made the, you know, butter beer, and it was like, it was genuinely like, I was like, okay, he put a lot of thought into this.
[53:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she says, like, you know, he's so fun, he's genuine, he's treating me well, and obviously they started out in a rough patch and then another rough patch, but they're actively,
[53:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: working on things.
[53:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says she has her walls up, but she's getting more comfortable and she would love it if they ended up working out.
[53:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Dana, do we believe her?
[53:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay, so you might be mad at me for this, but I'm going to ride from my girl Caitlyn.
[53:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay.
[53:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay.
[53:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: All right.
[53:57] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I really like her.
[53:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay.
[53:59] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Is trying really hard.
[54:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think I think that experts did them a disservice here by matching these two people.
[54:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Don't black cat with a gold and retriever.
[54:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: All of a sudden I'm on the show if you're a
[54:10] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think that she, I think he's extremely media and he's asking for too much, we all have our needs.
[54:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So if you need somebody who's like, yeah.
[54:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I remember him saying, like, I want somebody who's at the end of the rugby field with the baby, wishing that's not her, right?
[54:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She has a whole life she's independent, who wants a trad wife.
[54:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, it's a bad wife.
[54:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Oh, what?
[54:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That's changed so much.
[54:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She says, which we haven't seen over the past few years.
[54:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I feel like she is giving, like, okay, so he's saying she's not kissing in that kind of thing.
[54:40] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We have a little bit more of an explanation for that.
[54:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She is getting up earlier.
[54:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But we do see her engaging with him and she thinks it's going well.
[54:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I know she is.
[54:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Well, I think there are also parallels between her and Nikki, where
[54:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I need to, well, or with any woman, right?
[54:54] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like, I need to get to know you a bit and then I'll be all over you because I feel like in some couples, we look at them like it's only been a week and then we look at this couple.
[55:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We're like, how come they haven't done it yet?
[55:03] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And it's been the same amount of time, right?
[55:05] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I do think he is trying to say sex without saying it in a way that Sean is as well.
[55:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I do.
[55:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Because if they had sex that night, I don't think he'd be complaining anymore.
[55:14] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I really don't.
[55:15] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay.
[55:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So,
[55:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I understand that she may not be giving him what he is looking for, but I think she is doing her best and the fact that she is happy and thinks it's going well to me shows that they're just not a good match because this is the best she can do.
[55:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And maybe that's going to be great for somebody else.
[55:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like I'm not a lesbian but for me she she'd be great for me.
[55:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Give me my space, does her own thing.
[55:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: is just cute little activity for me that would be great that would be enough for him no he needs somebody literally give it like writing him like a backpacks twenty president yeah it's funny you mentioned that like again a lot of comments and things and someone actually proposed I always you know I shy away from talking about people's sexuality but someone proposed that they think that Caitlyn is actually lesbian she just doesn't know it yet but that's a whole that's a whole
[56:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Well, yes, it's early for the right reason for the right sexual health.
[56:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, I just I don't touch that not my business.
[56:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't you know, whatever it is.
[56:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And okay.
[56:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, Dana, we are all ready to present.
[56:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, I'm okay with that.
[56:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I welcome.
[56:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I set this on my last episode.
[56:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I love opposing views in my change my mind and my see different things, but we are not on the same page.
[56:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, guys, can we still be friends.
[56:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, I think about it.
[56:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We'll see.
[56:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think that Caitlyn does not like David.
[56:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's like one today.
[56:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think that Caitlyn is putting it on for the cameras.
[56:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Caitlyn does not want to be the villain.
[56:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think she's just saying things is it's impossible.
[56:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: for them to be that off because we're gonna talk about it when he talks to Devin's friends and she's like, oh, we're great, we're in, that's impossible.
[56:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he's getting nothing.
[56:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think that in the morning, she's purposefully leaving early.
[57:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If you put pillows in between me, she does not like this man.
[57:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's just writing it out like, let's just get through it and we're gonna be done.
[57:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's an end timestamp.
[57:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I can rally, I can get through this.
[57:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I recognize that he's a good guy.
[57:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's just not for me.
[57:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Just for the fact that I've said this too many times when she said, why is he being nice to me?
[57:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not used to that.
[57:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's another person that needs their, they all do, they all need therapy.
[57:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and she's not used to that she just wants like you said the black hat and she wants to be separated.
[57:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I do agree with you.
[57:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He is needy.
[57:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I first I thought he was just like a lover boy.
[57:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's it's it's a notch above lover boy.
[57:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He went.
[57:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I I'm gonna love how bomb her and she's gonna love it.
[57:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And no one said that's not a good thing.
[57:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, because I'm like, I don't know if he's just doing it because he's not getting it, so he's stepping it up a notch, but he's very intense with all of it, like even though the part I know he was intoxicated where she was trying to get her space and you're trying to hug her stop, he doesn't know when to stop to.
[58:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: his intense guy and then because you know we're feeling bad for him and like you know he's a good guy and all that kind of stuff we're not seeing that but bound just coming many different forms like like I said Carton A is one thing but you know when she said I don't want to talk about it let it be and just walk away you know he didn't in the last episode and then in this case when they were even still fighting and she's like go take a shower go to bed no I hear you
[58:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You can't, I thought this in my 20s.
[58:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I thought I could love someone into loving me and seeing that I'm the best thing ever.
[58:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You never get to find anyone better than me.
[58:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, they will, okay?
[58:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But you still working is the way through that.
[58:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I think that, you know, she doesn't like him, but she's not, like, I'm not gonna say anything bad about him, like, I'm not gonna disrespect him.
[58:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They've gotten 19 seasons to watch to see all of that.
[58:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, I'm not gonna be the bad person, but she can't wait for all of this to be done.
[59:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's an interesting way.
[59:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's just like, especially in this past episode, that's not the vibe I got, especially when she was with his friends.
[59:06] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She was so excited.
[59:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She was really like, if it were me and I was not into the guy, I wouldn't be putting a lot of effort into his friends.
[59:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And that would be obvious.
[59:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But I feel like she was.
[59:14] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think it's all that.
[59:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: All right.
[59:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Let's see.
[59:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We don't know.
[59:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We're not going to make it.
[59:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They're not going to make it.
[59:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But like, yeah.
[59:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Absolutely, because just for the fact that he says that she's different off camera.
[59:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like, yeah, I, I, I, I, I can't do that.
[59:28] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Sample where she's like, our favorite day was the EDM Fest was it not where were the cameras, right?
[59:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I don't.
[59:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay.
[59:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's hard.
[59:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's hard because we're not there for all of it, right?
[59:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[59:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That's the hard part to gauge.
[59:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We miss all fights between a lot of these people also summer have a couple seasons back when Carl and Lindsay were together.
[59:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: There were so many fights that happened in Ubers that we never got to see the camera in the Ubers.
[59:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So even though we've got the apartment cams,
[59:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We're not seeing on 24 hours a day and they keep referring to things that we're not seeing and that sucks because how can we take a side if we didn't see it?
[1:00:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, all right guys.
[1:00:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Here's your homework.
[1:00:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm being passed.
[1:00:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Let us know where you fall on the side of Caitlyn.
[1:00:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Do you think like they're doing it like you think it's she's trying or do you think like she's putting it on for the cameras, you know?
[1:00:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: because I do agree with you like this is her best like this is it's like if this is not enough for him that this is the best that you know they can get but a lot of it is him not being himself to make her comfortable so maybe that's why it is the best maybe she is you know
[1:00:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Am I, am I turning now, maybe he is happy because he's like, oh, I'm going to get out of your way.
[1:00:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, I'm not saying anything, but he's a shell of himself that way.
[1:00:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Right.
[1:00:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And he shouldn't like they said, he shouldn't have to do himself for her.
[1:00:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So he should be with somebody where he can be this full self.
[1:00:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And she should have the same because I do feel for her in the sense where people are constantly telling her.
[1:00:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: it's you, it's you, and that's really hard on a person, especially when you came out of two really bad relationships, and especially what she's trying so hard.
[1:01:04] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I do feel for her in that sense, but this experiment was not right for her in this guy, it's not right for her.
[1:01:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yep, yep, another incompatible couple, but let me know.
[1:01:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I can't wait to hear.
[1:01:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he has a selfie camera, he's dog, he's walking, he's dog and talking about
[1:01:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, he's suffocating you.
[1:01:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Having a good time, he just turns into a negative, right?
[1:01:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Look, I'm a negative Nancy, too.
[1:01:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Don't even get me wrong.
[1:01:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But he's always showing you my this cup, right?
[1:01:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So it's cup is it full, but I was going to use that same analogy where he's like, he never looks at something.
[1:01:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He never looks as a, at a glass as half full and said that he always looks at it as half empty.
[1:01:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[1:01:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she even said that.
[1:01:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You never look at the positives.
[1:01:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He's the man who's sharp.
[1:01:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Right down a list of positives and negatives.
[1:01:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And if the negative list is a lot longer, OK.
[1:01:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But you're never seeing to look at the positives.
[1:01:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I never noticed that, cool.
[1:01:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, he says a lot of it is him catering to her, no reciprocating, and he needs it because he can't be with someone who can't meet him where he's at, and they're hanging with Devon's friends is when they come over and you know, grilling and all that stuff.
[1:02:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And they ask, you know, do you have pet names for each other?
[1:02:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And Caitlyn is making all these jokes like nightmare and stuff, I'm like, okay.
[1:02:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then she goes, wow, how would you describe me to them?
[1:02:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: um i don't remember which if he answered did he answer that i don't really do that now so she shares you know they separate she shares with his friends that they're doing better than they were in Mexico she says he's so kind he's so genuine he's a good man she's never dated one of them before and it was jarring at first but if she looks back he has had to make like visible changes and she appreciates that then Devon is sharing the real real with his friend
[1:02:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And how the experts asked if he was dimming his light on the front of like, oh, and then his friend was like, I noticed that because you were cooking, you weren't making jokes and he goes, yeah, because sometimes I make jokes and she doesn't laugh, she doesn't say anything and I feel so dumb, so I'm just like, I'm going to shut up, he says they're basically coexisting there's no connection, no interaction when he wakes up, she's gone, this pillows between them, they don't even share a comforter.
[1:03:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, so why is she saying otherwise?
[1:03:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is where I'm just like, you can't be that far apart.
[1:03:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is like when Nikki said two and Sean said seven, five, five, five, two, we're not even sleeping on the same place than I before, sir.
[1:03:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You can't be a seven, my five.
[1:03:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's friend looks so distraught for him.
[1:03:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I was like, oh, no.
[1:03:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She didn't.
[1:03:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he says like, if it was decision day, he would say no at the same time.
[1:03:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's like, I like him.
[1:03:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So his friend, she has a confessional, she's like, I don't know.
[1:03:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know.
[1:03:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know.
[1:03:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Guys, like, it looks like she's in heaven and it looks like he's in limbo and he's trying to decide if this is Earth or the heaven you want to create.
[1:03:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But people have different heavens.
[1:03:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I don't know.
[1:03:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's just trying to be nice.
[1:03:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's just like, dev in Ron.
[1:03:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So that was it.
[1:04:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, Marissa and Adam and Nick and Courtney hang out.
[1:04:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We first see Adam ripping on the jet skis, dude.
[1:04:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's fine.
[1:04:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm fine.
[1:04:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm just Dana.
[1:04:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Lord, these couples are never going to be on their own.
[1:04:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: How are they going to work on anything when every minute they're hanging out?
[1:04:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's the dinner parties, the group.
[1:04:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's the birthday party.
[1:04:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're not alone.
[1:04:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's a group effort at this point.
[1:04:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, it's a good idea.
[1:04:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Mary, I like it.
[1:04:28] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I like it in some respects.
[1:04:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I like them interacting with each other because truly there was nobody else on earth that understands the experience that you're going through besides these people, right?
[1:04:36] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I find some of the group therapy and some of the group dinner is very beneficial in that sense, but yeah it is quite a lot because you do need to spend time alone as a couple to get to know each other.
[1:04:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, I find that people like Caitlyn, Courtney, and stuff, they use it in this state.
[1:04:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And they're like, oh, yeah, they're in God.
[1:04:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I can't actually work.
[1:04:52] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm running me back inside of the room.
[1:04:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So the ex at beginning to show with Marissa, she set it out loud with her own mouth the last episode.
[1:05:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They hit land and Marissa is just like my hair.
[1:05:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's messed up.
[1:05:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I've broken up with a boyfriend before trying to have a conversation while brushing my hair.
[1:05:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That didn't really make sense, but okay, he had to have done something to make sure.
[1:05:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And that was the the straw that broke the camel's back.
[1:05:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He does apologize.
[1:05:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He was like, I'm sorry about the hair.
[1:05:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She tells us like, listen, I was already seasick by the time we made it to play pickleball.
[1:05:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's not into it.
[1:05:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's like, yay, today's going fine.
[1:05:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Starcass and Casey, he's dead.
[1:05:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he says, I'm very serious about pickleball.
[1:05:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I have a training program for her and I love it.
[1:05:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She was naturally into it.
[1:05:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Who will fall in love instantly.
[1:05:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They'll play till 90.
[1:05:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Come back to earth.
[1:05:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Adam, earth to Adam.
[1:05:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Come back.
[1:05:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Marissa tells Courtney that she hates pickle ball and there's like, I'm just joking.
[1:05:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No, you hate it.
[1:05:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He, they play and she's not into it.
[1:05:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's not getting it.
[1:05:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He basically tells her to stay back and let him do it, but she's whining.
[1:05:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says she's hungry.
[1:05:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Nick comes alive in a confessional and it's like Adam is probably he's like he's the voice of their relationship.
[1:06:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know anything about Marissa because she doesn't talk so hopefully she gets to start talking.
[1:06:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like,
[1:06:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Look at the mirror, the pot, calling the kids will black.
[1:06:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I think by the way though, that he actually loves jumping in about other couples, because that is the one thing he knows how to do, right from other reality shows.
[1:06:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So he loves the group dinner, he's like, oh, I can't wait to see who's talking shit or who's doing what?
[1:06:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So he loves to be a little bit messy because that's the only thing he knows to do.
[1:06:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, and in his mind, he turned it into a competition.
[1:06:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[1:06:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Who is the couple that's going to be, like unfortunately, he's not on the winning team, if he thinks he is then he's delusional, but yeah.
[1:06:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, Courtney, Ashley Luna, you need to be to be a reality star.
[1:06:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So they're all sitting talking, eating and Courtney asks, have you guys talked about where you're going to live and she's like, yeah, we're probably going to live in this place and we're going to save money by splitting rent and then she asked them, um, if they've seen each other's houses and no, we're Marissa asks, um,
[1:07:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Courtney about Nick, apparently he has a house, it's a four bedroom house, and she's like, oh, that is so nice.
[1:07:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, you get a glam room, you get everything.
[1:07:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We are not speaking about the location or the state that it's in, but he got a house.
[1:07:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then Courtney acts like, they're not talking about her and is like, oh, wait, you mean like, I would move in?
[1:07:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, that's what married people I can't remember.
[1:07:28] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She just let high school a couple of years.
[1:07:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: she's just like oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah the thing about it is like I want to live in Oregon he doesn't want to live there you don't know where no you don't exactly like with my family and all that I'm like you can't even touch him why are we skipping to weekends for your family take care of kids and Adam is like yeah I wouldn't do Portland either
[1:07:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she goes, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, I don't like it either, but when you have kids, it's different.
[1:07:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And Adam is like, yeah, weekends is enough, like Portland feels like a worse Seattle.
[1:08:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: else, Carton A would like ripped them a new one, but it's Adam, and he's just like, yeah, she's like, so um, then this silence because I guess only Courtney can hate Seattle or maybe it's editing, I don't know.
[1:08:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then they talk about the group dinner, the dinner, and it's like, oh, what's going to happen?
[1:08:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And they decide to talk shit about Nikki and Sean, how they had a 180 and all that stuff.
[1:08:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then one sixth says, oh, I'm curious about Bill Julia Mecker.
[1:08:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like, keep the block couples out your mouth.
[1:08:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, stop it and then Nick says, well, we'll see about Caitlyn and David and then Adam, or whoever says, everyone else is vibing.
[1:08:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like, how everyone else is struggling except for Michelle and Cameron, like in future selves also.
[1:08:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then Courtney says, Adam is a motherfucker because Nick now says vibing and cooked all the time.
[1:08:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: me too.
[1:09:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's very catchy.
[1:09:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We all confessional what Courtney says.
[1:09:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think Adam is bizarre.
[1:09:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I'm sure people think I am.
[1:09:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, we do.
[1:09:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And that's why she vibes with him.
[1:09:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I was like, does he know you exist?
[1:09:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, I wish they asked Adam that question.
[1:09:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, what do you think about Courtney?
[1:09:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think like, uh,
[1:09:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Who's Courtney again?
[1:09:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, she's cool.
[1:09:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I guess, but They separate and court that's a Courtney and Marissa and then Nick and Adam Nick tells Marissa Nick is great And when they go through the downs, they come out of it and feel lighter She can see how they're compatible and he's perfect in those ways and he has said how she challenges him But you guys Courtney can't say anything nice of all Nick.
[1:09:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She got to add a little rather dazzle of negativity and she's like, yeah, I challenge you But how is he challenging me?
[1:09:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Adam says things have been going well, they're super busy, so they haven't done any activities.
[1:09:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He tells him how paths prescribed them a kiss.
[1:09:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think that's Nick, and now she's touchy-feely.
[1:09:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Courtney tells Marissa that they're her favorite couple, because I think your man is hot, is silent, but she's just kind of like, well, they say I almost wonder, like, do you guys have like, you know, any shoes?
[1:10:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Cause that's what they're all looking for, is like, what is the hold in the relationship?
[1:10:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No, I just said she's struggling to leave past relationship beef behind.
[1:10:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like, what beef, but I think what she means is relationship baggage.
[1:10:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Not beef.
[1:10:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's right.
[1:10:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But we don't know any of that either.
[1:10:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: All we know is about her dad, right?
[1:10:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So like, let's see those conversations.
[1:10:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'd love to.
[1:10:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Well, she's probably not even having them with Adam, because they're just pickleballing it up and jet skiing it up and just ripen.
[1:10:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And all he wants to know is what sexual position that she not tried.
[1:10:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she says in the past relationship, she had to be perfect all the time or she would get in trouble, but also she was 23 and she just doesn't want to be that person again.
[1:10:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says Adam has a lot of hobbies and she just doesn't want to be here 23 year old again.
[1:10:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she doesn't have strong hobbies and she's just chilling.
[1:10:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And if he doesn't want to do it and chill, then that's fine.
[1:11:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Courtney says that should that be a sign?
[1:11:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like a sign of what?
[1:11:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: just because they don't have the same hobbies means they're not shouldn't be together.
[1:11:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know.
[1:11:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're bigger reasons why they shouldn't be together.
[1:11:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Marissa says that they're a good boyfriend and girlfriend, but husband and wife that's tough and it's going to be hard to get there in three weeks.
[1:11:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah.
[1:11:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's she's interesting right like we see her just very much going with the flow with him, but it seems like in the more recent episode she's starting to be like, okay, I'm ending up with everybody's putting down this isn't enough, but it's it's I'm not sure she's getting there on her own or she's getting there with everybody else sort of leading her there.
[1:11:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, like, you know, and I think we'll get there when we start the group dinner part, but like we we hear her say like we haven't done any of my things, you know, and so it's open his life and you can't.
[1:11:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Actually, maybe she would be really great with Devon because he just want somebody who's going to tack on to his life, not if you want that right, but like it's he she's just being amenable to everything that Adam does and it seems like he just want somebody who's going to fit into his lifestyle and he doesn't seem super interested in.
[1:12:08] \[SPEAKER_01\]: compromise.
[1:12:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, I had.
[1:12:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: an episode a long time ago that was called very ready done dirty brides of my house where it's like we have these brides that are just very ready.
[1:12:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It doesn't matter who you match them with.
[1:12:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't we don't know how it's going to end and we haven't gone to the done dirty part.
[1:12:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I think that Marissa is one of those people who into change her with anybody put her with Nick put her we were she'll make it work.
[1:12:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think she would work because she's agreeable.
[1:12:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes.
[1:12:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That kind of
[1:12:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All right, guys.
[1:12:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I did find my notes.
[1:12:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I did have notes on Michelle and Cameron.
[1:12:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I'm just going to quickly go through it like they had a picnic.
[1:12:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I want you to guess what I put in your mouth.
[1:12:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's really cute because she ended it with whipped cream on her lips and kisses him and like I said, the sun was setting with the water and it's also gorgeous.
[1:12:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She shares with him how she comes out here a lot.
[1:12:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She used to see couples and thought about taking her husband here and you know, she's tearing up.
[1:13:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says in the confessional and this is a little bit why I don't really like the group stuff She's like it's not a competition, but I think me and Cam might be the strongest couple right now and I'm like
[1:13:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Don't love that, but I get what they're saying.
[1:13:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he says it was a perfect day.
[1:13:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He believes in signs.
[1:13:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And they've had so many essays and they've produced it, which is like serious conversation.
[1:13:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she shocked that another woman is not scooped up camera on.
[1:13:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She tells them that she's excited, that he liked coming here and she can't believe they found each other.
[1:13:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he says, this might be where they live together.
[1:13:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If he is lucky, and she says, if I am lucky too.
[1:13:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Again, thank you.
[1:13:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All right, let's group dinner this year.
[1:13:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Adam is wearing a kimono.
[1:13:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's not buttoned up.
[1:13:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, it's not buttoned up.
[1:13:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like it's like, well, this is as many buttons as it is, but we still see chest and I'm like, this man is just trying to get a rise out of Paul.
[1:14:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That has to be the only reason.
[1:14:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But Michelle and Cameron are the first to come in.
[1:14:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're not holding hands, but no one makes a big deal about it because they know that they're good.
[1:14:12] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, pass it by the way.
[1:14:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[1:14:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Passes that if the first dinner party started with a prayer, then her prediction is we're going to see more fireworks tonight.
[1:14:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What the fuck does that mean pass?
[1:14:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What are you going to throw in like an extra couple?
[1:14:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Or it's going to be like love island they're going to throw in like a kasa more situation like what are you going to do?
[1:14:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's just she just says stuff and it's like, you know, we're just supposed to eat it up because you said it like sometimes what's mean things make it mean things like Start it with a prayer then your prediction is received fireworks.
[1:14:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What I wonder if producers make her like because these are almost like soundbites, you know, and I wonder if they're just asking her to say,
[1:14:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, Nick and Sean are here and their pseudo matching pauses because they want to demonstrate that they're a strong couple.
[1:15:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I agree.
[1:15:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, also collectively, they're all dressed for different occasions because I think they can be like a like a fur coat of something and everyone's just dressed different.
[1:15:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, Bell Julien Mecca come in and here we go again.
[1:15:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Paul is like think always coming showy.
[1:15:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not gonna say performative, but it's giving poor formans and I'm like Think this is just how they do this Maybe Paul has been in the UK too long because I'm like, what how do you not understand like honestly?
[1:15:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because there's so many arguments going back and forth.
[1:15:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're like, you know, Mekka has the grill and you know the glasses or whatever I'm like let's just go with it.
[1:15:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What if they both enjoy looking good?
[1:15:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They enjoy dressing up
[1:15:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So what?
[1:15:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why are we describing this to performance?
[1:15:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I think what really grinds my gears is just this man Adam is going to come in with no shirt, no nothing, and we're not going to see anything like He let this people be like if this is how they dress maybe they are extra let's just move on you apologize to them You moved on, but to say I'm not going to say perform it a but I'll say it's giving performance.
[1:16:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's the same damn thing We're we're semanticing like doctor best
[1:16:14] \[SPEAKER_01\]: at this point, totally, and it bothers me because we saw how hurt Michael was by that word, Paul apologizes, and then he's like, I'm not gonna say performative, but I'm gonna say performative.
[1:16:23] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So he says the word twice more, and it's like, dude, come on.
[1:16:27] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And it's like, you see me rolling, yeah, it ain't just like, oh, they're having a great time.
[1:16:33] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We see them rolling in, they're dressed up.
[1:16:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: They love how they look together.
[1:16:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Listen.
[1:16:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Bell Julie, for example, at the wedding, she was wearing a lot of blinged out jewelry that people thought was too much.
[1:16:43] \[SPEAKER_01\]: This is just her style.
[1:16:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Okay.
[1:16:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: This is a style.
[1:16:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Let them have their style.
[1:16:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[1:16:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's the thing.
[1:16:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm not even disagreeing that, you know, their showy.
[1:16:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just don't necessarily think it's performative.
[1:16:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think it's who they are.
[1:16:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[1:16:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They just always, and they happen to be aligned in that together.
[1:16:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And they like to look good and it's like, okay, we're going to see this every single
[1:17:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[1:17:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All right.
[1:17:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Good on pass for saying, I don't know.
[1:17:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm obsessed with how they look.
[1:17:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They look great.
[1:17:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like, pass.
[1:17:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay.
[1:17:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maybe you get points this week.
[1:17:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Adam comes in with a kimono chest like I said, and this silence.
[1:17:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's not a comments.
[1:17:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, and then before they go in, Nick cracks a joke to take a shot every time Shawn says framework or philosophy, and that was funny because it wasn't something I noticed, but we find out later that it is something he says.
[1:17:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: He says framework later.
[1:17:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yeah, I felt exactly the way that was so funny.
[1:17:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: um then he also says let's make sure we're very honest and very direct because again this is where Nick comes alive let's tear down other couples so Cameron immediately starts by asking Nick like how's he feeling about how things are progressed and he's like they both have their walls up but they're taking baby steps and he's happy that they made out a few times and passes like is Courtney happy though and I'm like good question.
[1:18:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Paul says her body language screams I don't want to be here or be with him and he keeps invalid she keeps invalidating like the whole thing like any progress that they've made.
[1:18:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Nikki says that, oh, it's interesting.
[1:18:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's what we're working on also, the sexual part.
[1:18:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And over the last days, they haven't locked a lot.
[1:18:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Having basic conversations and cooking together, they've had kisses and cuddles.
[1:18:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's like, oh, I don't want to speak for you.
[1:18:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And Sean agrees and says, Paul gave us the framework that resuscitated our relationship and Paul was like, there we go.
[1:18:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And
[1:18:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: everybody Nick whisper is who's like, is this on purpose?
[1:18:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, you see, she's saying this on purpose.
[1:18:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it felt like everyone seems to not take Sean seriously because everyone's like smurking and making noise.
[1:18:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's like, we've seen relationships between all the other couples and I kind of feel like besides Sean and Nikki hanging out with Mecca and Bell Julie, I don't know if they're connecting with.
[1:18:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: other couples besides them because at least for with Mecca and Bell Julia understand they didn't only to black couples so we have that commonality and they pung out but I haven't seen it I know at some point Nick said he connected most with Mecca but we haven't seen them together you know what I don't know how much time they spent together early on but there was like the bachelor parties right so they had the bachelor parties with these guys with these same guys and
[1:19:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And Bachelor of Parties, maybe they got to know each other around then.
[1:19:26] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Again, I'm not sure how much time they spent together, but there was something about the last in her party.
[1:19:31] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We're all the guys really stood up for Sean and that height comment made me really felt feel like they really want to support their voice.
[1:19:38] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I feel like they're all laughing because this is just ridiculous.
[1:19:41] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You guys are going from like,
[1:19:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: like zero one week to 10 next week, zero one.
[1:19:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I think that's probably why, but I get what you're saying, but I think there may be more to the, not the couple's relationships, but like the guys know each other well in the girls, know each other well, because they've spent time together in separate respects before the experiment.
[1:20:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, maybe, and also lately in reality TV, really doesn't even matter.
[1:20:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's in, we've seen a lot of boys versus girls, like the boys will always back the boys and the girls will always back girls, either way.
[1:20:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Sean says that there's been that he's been shitting on the emotional closeness that not realizing that the emotional closeness is what's going to bring the physical closeness and the sparks are starting to fly and he's more surprised than all of them and Nikki says like as crazy as it seems the fights are bringing them closer and you know maybe these two are more aligned than we think I've never seen so much bullshit fly at a dinner party like what
[1:20:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I just think they are so like like you said to be on reality TV.
[1:20:42] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You have to be a certain level up to Lulu.
[1:20:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I and let's assume for a second that these marriages are real.
[1:20:49] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I feel like
[1:20:51] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And if that's what they are thinking, I think that's honestly the premise of this show on why people tried that much harder.
[1:20:56] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So that's why they seem delusional and out of whatever, because they want it to work.
[1:20:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah.
[1:21:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Like if I were to go to a bar or to be set up with someone and I'm not attracted to the person, by, but if I'm legally married, I'm going to try and I'm going to try and I'm going to make it seem better than it is, probably, because I'm trying to convince myself to almost like how Sean told Courtney to do that.
[1:21:16] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You're a high performance athlete, try to.
[1:21:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: who didn't in your head, try to convince yourself that you like him, kiss him, and force yourself to do that, so it becomes natural.
[1:21:24] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So I think that's what some of the couples are doing, including Nikki, just trying to be so positive and so light about it, so that she's almost convincing herself of it as well in a way.
[1:21:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, and I think in addition to that, I do think that they had a conversation.
[1:21:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, let's keep our dirty laundry between us, because you can't have such a,
[1:21:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Actually, I support that they didn't bring it up.
[1:21:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The whole, you know, mutual, oh, they're so bad.
[1:21:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No, right.
[1:21:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Thank God.
[1:21:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They don't bring it up.
[1:21:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, keep that.
[1:21:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I think they have had a conversation where it's like, we're just going to do our best.
[1:21:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, we both know we're going to say no, but let's just keep our best food forward.
[1:22:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And they're going to like pretend that I think I thought that's why everyone was smirking.
[1:22:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's like they can smell the bullshit and they're just thinking that, oh, everyone buys what we're saying.
[1:22:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We're going to wear similar colors and the sparks are flying.
[1:22:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You literally told this man like the physical attraction is not there.
[1:22:18] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So, right.
[1:22:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So of course they feel that way, right?
[1:22:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Because it is like you're going zero to 60.
[1:22:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So it does feel and I don't want to use performative because that's just a word I don't use.
[1:22:25] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But it's giving the same vibe that
[1:22:30] \[SPEAKER_01\]: was upsetting everyone last time with Macoon Belgiore Lee, Rayleigh, how's it any different, right?
[1:22:34] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And we're not calling, I don't know.
[1:22:35] \[SPEAKER_01\]: It's just, just let people do their ups and downs.
[1:22:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So what you're saying is that you're cooked, which is going to speak in the out of now.
[1:22:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Well, pissed me off.
[1:22:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: This is the why I'm just going to mention the super brief.
[1:22:47] \[SPEAKER_01\]: When you drew that picture of her and made her like horrific, and then broke cooked on top of it, what do you find?
[1:22:53] \[SPEAKER_01\]: You know, she laughed, but I would be like, that's how you see me.
[1:22:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, yeah.
[1:22:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's like the little things.
[1:22:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: In addition, like again, I mentioned that in the last episode, when you add that and also when they were in three things, I was like, oh, maybe you put your broth or whatever the situation is, that was so rude.
[1:23:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, I don't know, all the combination of that.
[1:23:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: At first, I was thinking, I had a more shallow, but I think it's beyond, yeah, he's not really close.
[1:23:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's like a comedy kind of, yeah, yeah.
[1:23:19] \[SPEAKER_01\]: If you could marry a jet ski, he probably would.
[1:23:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, Felipe says like, you know what, as great as he and Tory has been, they haven't fought and in the, you know, low key, he kind of wishes that they could fight.
[1:23:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he knows what it would be like, but Nikki and Sean do like he points everybody out.
[1:23:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's like Adam and this, this person brought they haven't fought and you know, maybe they're doing things in the reverse Sean says Adam, you're quiet, bro.
[1:23:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like I'm concerned.
[1:23:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You're never this quiet and Adam says it's been a long week.
[1:23:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And Felipe says, uh, the boring attractive couple.
[1:23:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And Melissa says, like, well, guys, I'm happy to announce that we had a bad day yesterday.
[1:23:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then everyone says cheering separate these people.
[1:24:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They spend too much time together.
[1:24:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Where are we cheering that someone had a bad day?
[1:24:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's crazy.
[1:24:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she says like he says like it was their first birthday, but it was his ideal day that they took his jet ski, they went to the pickleball courts, he had a blast, but it was stressful for her.
[1:24:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says, yeah, can we not do three hours of pickleball and you know their routine is off and realistically it's just hard to tell if their lifestyle works together because this is not real life.
[1:24:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Paul says that
[1:24:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, for someone who's able to say the hard stuff to everyone else, but when he comes to looking at Adam, she can't say the hard stuff.
[1:24:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That when she's saying the hard stuff to everybody else, when did I mess up?
[1:24:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think this, I think this.
[1:24:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think she's saying like all this like, I don't want to do this.
[1:24:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like even when she told court today, like, I don't like pick a ball.
[1:24:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't want to do this like how about say it ahead?
[1:24:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he doesn't make a double date, you know, for things like that.
[1:24:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That that means that they're missing an emotional connection.
[1:24:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Adam mentions, you know, I haven't been drinking, I've been instead of drinking and focused my energy on maxing to my physical ability and Cam is like, I don't know, did you ask for like a Serena Williams type?
[1:25:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, why is this so important?
[1:25:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, this is weird, bro.
[1:25:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he's like, well, I just envisioned being with someone who doesn't stay home and wants to push each other.
[1:25:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And Merisa was like, uh, level set.
[1:25:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I cannot play three hours of pickleball five days a week.
[1:25:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like, Adam, do you not work?
[1:25:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What is going on?
[1:25:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's like, well, what do you want to do instead of that?
[1:25:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I don't know if he's been listening, but I've been listening, she wants to nap.
[1:25:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She has set that many times over and over.
[1:25:37] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Dinner dates, too.
[1:25:39] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Yes, but a dinner.
[1:25:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yeah, and then she mentioned that.
[1:25:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's like, we haven't been in a dinner date since Cancun.
[1:25:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They haven't done anything normal.
[1:25:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They haven't even seen her friends.
[1:25:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, they have not done her side of stuff that she likes.
[1:25:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We have done all his stuff.
[1:25:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And now it's time to do my stuff and then Cam asked like why do you have to have the same hobby again and he's like well I didn't care previously, but in one of my girlfriends I had the same kind of hobbies with her and it was some of the most fun I've ever had wild statement the same front of your wife And he was like after having that I was like I can't do that without without without I can't do without that and Everyone is making faces like is this guy for real and that's how they episode ends
[1:26:20] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And that's how it ends, like how wild.
[1:26:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And it's like, do you think he knew this in advance and did it tell the experts or do you think he's learned this throughout this process?
[1:26:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No, I think he kind of told the experts, but I think also the experts won are not really taken into account everything you say, but also they're probably like he can't be serious.
[1:26:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like nobody plays football.
[1:26:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like he's probably exaggerating.
[1:26:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Maybe he's gonna happen to that girl.
[1:26:44] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What happened to that girl?
[1:26:45] \[SPEAKER_01\]: What happened to that ex-girlfriend, right?
[1:26:46] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She sounds perfect.
[1:26:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: just put her on the show, you know, she was on the phone.
[1:26:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: But, you know, I don't know if that was the same.
[1:26:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And no, and I think the one thing I forgot to mention, especially during Mecca and Bell's release thing, is like, maps has a history of, you know, couple focusing on just one person.
[1:27:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I just wish that they could focus on both of them as a couple.
[1:27:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And the reason why is like, have they, if they had focused on Marissa and Adam, you know,
[1:27:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: equity between both of them.
[1:27:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's been a lot of focus on Adam and like the things he's doing and the things he's showing off being serious and not like, hey, Marissa, what do you want to do and all that?
[1:27:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like I feel like that's just something they need to tweak a little bit even with Bell Julia Mecca.
[1:27:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's a lot about Mecca, not a lot about, you know, Bell Julia Lee.
[1:27:29] \[SPEAKER_01\]: So, you know, to the point where I forgot what her job was, right?
[1:27:32] \[SPEAKER_01\]: Because you you wind up focusing so much on one person in the couple, but you sort of forget every little detail that you did learn about the one person that they did give you.
[1:27:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Mm-hmm.
[1:27:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay.
[1:27:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Before we wrap things up, let's do our bouquet and our ashes at Zayna, who has your bouquet for this episode?
[1:27:50] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I'm going to give it to you, Cam and Michelle, just because they are kind of perfect.
[1:27:55] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And even though they are going to laugh at me, I'm such a germaphob.
[1:27:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: That scene of them feeding each other, her feeding him.
[1:28:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I didn't like it.
[1:28:01] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I know you thought it was beautiful.
[1:28:02] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I had to kind of turn away because you saw some of the like caramel dripping down her finger like getting into it.
[1:28:07] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I just didn't like that, but they're beautiful and I'm hopeful for them.
[1:28:11] \[SPEAKER_01\]: And my ashes.
[1:28:13] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I actually think I'm going to give to Marissa and Adam because.
[1:28:17] \[SPEAKER_01\]: I really feel like this is a one-way relationship and I don't think that she's going to end up happy.
[1:28:22] \[SPEAKER_01\]: She's getting the egg and I feel like they're cooked.
[1:28:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Good use right there.
[1:28:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, cool.
[1:28:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I was going to give my bouquet to Michelle and Cam because you know everything just just a line and I was like, well, if Dana chooses them, then I have a backup.
[1:28:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: My bouquet is going to go to Marissa for finally speaking up because it's about damn time that she
[1:28:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And my ass just goes to Paul, like listen, I like the man in all, but don't apologize.
[1:28:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: See this thing and then again, bring it up again.
[1:28:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, it's cooked.
[1:28:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's done.
[1:28:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There you go, man.
[1:28:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, one of these relationships.
[1:28:58] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We'd be like, you're really him for doing that.
[1:29:00] \[SPEAKER_01\]: We'd be like, you're probably still wouldn't bring it up, I just
[1:29:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, so you said that we got it once, they're not changing, just let it be and stop.
[1:29:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's not picking on them, but it's just dead end, just let it be.
[1:29:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And so he gets it for that.
[1:29:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So that's it.
[1:29:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, that was just fun.
[1:29:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Thank you for coming with us.
[1:29:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So thank you so much for letting me.
