## Transcript

[0:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hello everybody, welcome to another episode of Tain Talks.
[0:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I am your host, Tain.
[0:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Here's a talk to you about married our first sight season 20 episode 5.
[0:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's another solo episode for me, but don't worry.
[0:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'll be back with guests with episode 6.
[0:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, bear with me with one more episode that is solo, but I have all the thoughts about this episode in this drop in general.
[0:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We'll pick right back up with Caitlyn and Devon.
[0:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: where they're discussing after the cocktail hour.
[0:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And we have ominous music playing, and I'm like, what is happening?
[0:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Kagling is sharing how she really like the girls and the boys seem fun.
[0:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And as soon as they get in, Devon says, will there's something that he has to say?
[0:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he talks about the whole James situation, and how he feels like she's pulling away.
[1:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says that she needs that recharge and right now in this experiment with this Honeymoon there are 247 together, which is not something she did even when she lived with somebody, and she wasn't like this in her last relationship.
[1:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says that this is not how he views a relationship and with no tenderness at all, she says, well, I can't be with you 247, I'm going to start to feel smothered.
[1:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know you guys if I'm the only one but this is driving me really nuts on a very baseline level, I don't want to hear slow burn, I don't want to hear all of this talk because you signed up for Marida for sight.
[1:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What did she think this was going to be?
[1:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think that's the whole part where I'm confused and we're not getting any confessionals where anybody's asking her what did you expect?
[1:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We are on season 20 of this show the format has changed But not changed that much that we don't know that when you get married to someone you are going to be in a honeymoon
[2:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: if you know that is too much and you have not been like that in the previous relationship what the fuck are you here like this is just really truly driving me nuts and I'm also getting a confession or where she's like I feel so bad that this is happening she's really saying it like it's like how don't you understand that I don't want to be with you that this
[2:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: is a word normal where she's saying like in my last relationship because if you remember she said in her last relationship, he didn't care what she did.
[2:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she basically wants to be detached.
[2:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So if that's what you want, why did you get married?
[2:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is so bizarre to me.
[2:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I want her to walk me through the thought process.
[2:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says, I'm not asking you to be with me 24, 7.
[2:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I want to give you your space and give you everything that you need to help you lean into this and to just make you comfortable.
[3:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she says this and my intentions are pure because I like you and he's like, oh, I like you as well.
[3:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then they cheers to that.
[3:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it seems like everything is okay.
[3:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But the next time we see them, there's another group meetup.
[3:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And
[3:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: These people are hanging out again.
[3:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If you're new to the show, I am not always a fan, I'm not the huge fan of the constant meetups because it allows for comparison, it allows for people to,
[3:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, interact, you know, a lot season 18, things to happen, but I just feel like also because they're getting used to each other.
[3:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The focus should be on their own couples at least for now.
[3:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And even if they're going to hang out, they literally just hung out.
[3:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They just have that, but it looks like they're hanging out again.
[3:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I will say that I do think that this is not.
[3:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: something stolen from Marida for St. Australia.
[3:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: In Marida for St. Australia, the group does hang out, but they don't show that to us a lot.
[3:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We hear like at the dinner party or the group commitments ceremony where they say, oh, we were hanging out and went to the bar together, but there's not a lot of like the
[4:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: forced production, hang out, all the couples together because they have the commitment ceremony and the dinner party.
[4:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So which I think they're doing the season.
[4:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I'm like, what did I need to hang out this much?
[4:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, it's too soon as far as I'm concerned.
[4:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Again, I'm asking to say a question.
[4:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It is for the drama.
[4:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But um,
[4:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This time their meet up is a pool party and they're hanging out about the pool.
[4:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And Felipe is selling them that he had to develop a personality because he's only been pretty for three years because before that he was ugly.
[4:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He does ask snake like, have you been pretty this whole time?
[4:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Adam comes in to the pool party with his stream socks on and he's trying to justify that the socks prevent slipping and Courtney jokes that he has foot fungus and she's like I'm just kidding and all the couples are kind of being affectionate and Devon and Naker talking about how they haven't kissed their girls.
[5:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Philippe and Adam are like, well, I mean, we kiss all the time.
[5:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm wondering why Mika and Sean are missing from the conversation, huh?
[5:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why are they fighting the conversation?
[5:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So they asked Cameron and he says, yeah, like, I mean, we kiss, like, I'll just say that we have a very strong physical relationship, and then they start doing woodboys today.
[5:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Ah, so I'm guessing they had sex.
[5:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Still a question mark, I don't know.
[5:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Again,
[5:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We seem to have gotten rid of the, did you consummate your marriage?
[5:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I don't know, we'll find out eventually anyways.
[5:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Caitlyn is chatting with her sister in misery, Courtney, and seeing how Devon is proud.
[5:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: of being in touch with his emotions as if it's a bad thing and she is down to be vulnerable but it is out of her comfort zone and she's giving as much as she can.
[5:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Courtney says that's how she feels and as she's getting to the point where she needs to make up a lie to get some alone time.
[6:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think my problem with Courtney is that she seems to be relishing this
[6:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: while Caitlyn is saying it, you know, it's still horrible, but while Caitlyn is saying it like, I'm not used to this and that's like a whole deeper problem with Caitlyn.
[6:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Courtney is saying it almost as if she enjoys just being in this misery and talking about it over and over again.
[6:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and putting nicked down.
[6:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's just so annoying.
[6:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's really such a shame and a bad idea that these two are finding common ground this way, because Caitlyn needs to be talking to someone that can give her some sensible advice.
[6:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like it's just always such a shame when some genuine people who are here to really find love and in this case, Devon are
[6:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: usually paired up with people who just don't appreciate it, like they come in here, ready to give their all, and then they paired them up with people who are like, what is wrong, which you're like, why are you doing too much?
[6:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If only they had a thing called experts, you know, I've said this before that because the honeymoon is such a quick and intimate thing that they're putting these strangers through, but it doesn't hurt to have experts around
[7:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: or somebody they can talk to, to have some kind of perspective when situations like this arise.
[7:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I guess they think otherwise.
[7:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Devin confides in Philippe and Adam and says, it's just different from what he pictured.
[7:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he tries to see the civil lineman and is like, maybe she'll teach me to be independent.
[7:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Courtney Meanwhile is saying how Nick wanted to cuddle this morning and she had to lie that she had the bubble guts.
[7:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And at this point, I'm just, this is me.
[7:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, it's one thing to feel that way to tell one girlfriend to tell your producer and the professionals, but just to keep going on and on and on again, it's like, it's just me.
[7:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says,
[7:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's going on yet another one on one date with him and she just wants to fucking kill herself.
[7:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I just need her to really stop saying that because this is the third time if I recall correctly that she's saying this.
[7:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like it's just not okay, like just to throw that around any time you want to say that you want to fucking kill yourself because, oh, God forbid, somebody wants to spend time with you.
[8:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's too strong of a sentiment and it just feels inappropriate.
[8:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: you know, to say that.
[8:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So the woman aggravates my spirit.
[8:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Nick says on the other time, so they're showing what Courtney is saying, they're showing what Nick is saying.
[8:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Nick is saying, I know she likes me, but I don't know if it's a friend level, and she just never comes to talk to me.
[8:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like I wish you would come talk to me or check on me, but she doesn't do that.
[8:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But he does say that he wants to course correct to avoid the friend zone.
[8:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Mecca is talking to Nick.
[8:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, Mecca and Nick are talking now one-on-one and Mecca says that you know He started smacking her butt and he knows that she really really likes him Mecca you are crossing into areas territory where you're just like oh she likes me She likes me she likes me and I'm not quite sure what the problem is like I said last episode I don't know where he stands and it's frustrating because again
[8:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Confessionals, why are we not asking him or why are they not showing us what he thinks about her?
[9:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says that she gave the green light to make a move, but he doesn't want to seem like he's thirsty, y'all.
[9:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm confused.
[9:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What does that mean?
[9:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She absolutely gave you the green light and said you can proceed with caution.
[9:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I already scolded her for
[9:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: setting the tone and doing the whole cheek thing at the altar, but we'll move past that.
[9:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She gave the green light, she's attracted to her, she's attracted to him.
[9:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If you say you're attracted to her, why would you seem thirsty for your wife?
[9:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is so bizarre, I don't understand this.
[9:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Who is wrong with everyone's thinking this season?
[9:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Anyways, he says like, okay, his fear is like, what if he messes it up, what if he goes too far and that he's not sure that he knows he's being pessimistic and he shouldn't but unfortunately here we are.
[9:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and any other woman who's clingy would feel insecure about the situation, but she doesn't at this point.
[10:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Adam, we suddenly see like this shot of Adam saying like, a thousand dollars of any of you guys beat me in pickleball at any point, I'll give you a thousand dollar cash.
[10:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know what to make of Adam, so we'll talk about him later, but Courtney continues her winding tour, and she's telling Tori that
[10:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: she needs to be mentally stimulated.
[10:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he believes that he couldn't even work to his special machine.
[10:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Cotton Nick telling the group that he was fourth in the nation that playing chess, you know, when he was in kindergarten.
[10:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I know it was a joke, but from what I know of Nick, Nick is very smart.
[10:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, the man went to MIT, but he is very smart.
[10:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So for her to say that, she needs to be mentally stimulated.
[10:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like Miss Maum, please have several seats, okay?
[10:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Courtney continues to say like I don't want to say it but he's boring like for example she's talking to Tory guys you know how Felipe could work a room like he's just funny and nice and all of the things that you know I just want to bring that out of Nick and I'm like
[11:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, like, sorry to the really react.
[11:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, she's a mature woman.
[11:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's just like, yeah, yeah, I understand.
[11:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says she thinks like naturally everything is her fault.
[11:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's Courtney.
[11:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she's wondering, why Courtney?
[11:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why can't you get that out of him?
[11:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, I just saying Nick doesn't have a personality is so wild to me, because you can say many things about Nick, but to say he doesn't have a personality
[11:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, unfortunately, Tori does not give her a good advice and is all like, you know, you have to respect your feelings first and foremost, well, she will go downhill and I just wish everyone remember that feelings and not facts and I'm not quite sure why Courtney thinks herself to be a ball of personality.
[11:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's just a ball of nervous energy that makes no sense.
[11:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So,
[11:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's not fun to watch her because this is what the third person that this is excluded in the confessionals that she's whining about this whole thing.
[12:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like talk to Nick, why are you talking to everybody else and putting him down instead of if you're trying to figure out or trying to get accountability like, okay, this is what I've been doing.
[12:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: If I need to do something different and why I signed up for this show, what can I do better?
[12:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: How can I push myself outside of my comfort zone?
[12:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Also, can we just wrap this up like a I don't know if you guys remember Nick lives in Austin.
[12:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is a joke.
[12:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just wonder if they're going to bring it up on the show later on.
[12:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We're going to talk about Michelle when they talk about him living in Portland.
[12:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So at least I was brought up.
[12:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know if they're going to bring this up that he doesn't live here, but what are we doing?
[12:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, but back to Devon and Caitlin.
[12:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The poor parties over so back to Devon and Caitlyn, they show all the different couples doing different activities and they're doing salsa dancing and Devon is loving it.
[12:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's in close contact with her.
[13:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's all like Caitlyn is giving me looks that she's scrunching her nose at me.
[13:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And, you know, then you love a woman giving him looks, you know, he said the same thing about Sydney Swiny looking up at him with puppy dog eyes.
[13:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, a man likes his looks.
[13:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says like he can't help himself that he's a lover boy, but he doesn't want to scare her away.
[13:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I felt so bad for him like it's he's so full of happiness that he's been matched with someone and he kind of has to temper it down because he's with someone who says she's going to feel smothered.
[13:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So also safe to assume that the man loves to dance like you know it's another time that we see him dance.
[13:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we see us off the cam of Caitlyn saying how Devon felt like she didn't want to do anything with him when they
[13:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: went to the water park and it feels like he's not getting what he wants from her and she's just exhausted oh my god must be so hard to have a husband who wants me so exhausting um she says like he wants a lot of validation
[14:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she doesn't know if it's at the level of what she's able to ever give him and it's discouraging so we see them beginning to pack because you know it's the honeymoon is ending and it's over and she just mentions like she's looking for to talking to Dr. Lisa for perspective and he says yeah and then we see Devon's luggage on the bed and guys my fellow.
[14:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: day one or is this the first luggage on the bed of the season that we are seeing?
[14:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's the one that I recall but correct me if I'm wrong.
[14:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he says he feels rejected but he doesn't want to give up on their relationship.
[14:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I guess when they go back they are going to be talking with Dr Lisa and we'll see how she does.
[14:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm curious to see like you guys know I'm not completely
[15:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: giving canceling to the couples just to see what her style is like.
[15:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is it gonna be more like a doctor P.O.
[15:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: is it going to be like a doctor pepper?
[15:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No one is like that's a cow.
[15:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we've been interesting to see what it would be like.
[15:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, I will take a break and have to be right back.
[15:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, so after the pool party, Nick and Courtney are on a boat.
[15:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And once again, they are trying to think of a game that they can play.
[15:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They end up with a Wudu rather game and I'm like guys, just talk.
[15:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know where we are going out of our way to think of games.
[15:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Nick shares that he talked to Mecca the most, because she asked him who did you bond with the most, or did you talk to the most, and Nick shares that he talked to Mecca the most, and because they're in the same place,
[15:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and they're both unsure of where their relationships are headed, romantically, and he's not sure where she stands.
[15:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She'd be in Courtney.
[15:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Courtney says, like, she felt bad that she's not into it when he was cuddling her, and she felt bad because she will be a slow burn, uh, burn it to the ground.
[16:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says, like, also, she's not a mushy mushy girl, and she's sorry.
[16:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm saying this like quite regularly, I think, but you have to imagine this if you watch the show,
[16:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She speaks very frantically, like she's just like, you know, I just feel so bad.
[16:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You're trying to cuddle me, and then it feels so bad.
[16:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And as you know, I'm a slow burn, but I'm not a mushy girl.
[16:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm so sorry.
[16:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm a mushy girl that's just a mile a minute where Nick can even jump in to say anything.
[16:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says like, you know, the thing is at first I didn't want to cuddle you, but as the days and the last couple of days,
[16:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I've been feeling like I do want to call you so I'm just like going for it.
[16:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says that she is allegedly a goofy person and that they need to do more playful stuff.
[16:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Again, she is talking to Nick, this is blowing my mind.
[16:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says that she's not comfortable expressing what she thinks is missing and then she has this dramatic pause and then she starts crying and and the terrible human being I'm really my ass I'm like get to the point I don't this whole thing of like you're doing something you're being mean and then you're crying what are we supposed to be feeling bad about like what are you crying for make your point and have this conversation so
[17:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, she's like, oh, the thing is like, you know, in the past, I would rather you be happy.
[17:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, you know, other people be happy and it feels weird than me being happy.
[17:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So now we feel so awkward, saying what I need and then she stops and she's like, okay, if you're good, I got that out of the system.
[17:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's okay.
[17:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then she just keeps going, you're like, I feel good.
[17:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But you know, I go up, I go down, but it's okay.
[17:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because I'm a girl, sorry, you have to deal with that.
[17:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like,
[17:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What do we what just happened right now?
[17:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I can't imagine what Nick is thinking and I'm pretty sure we got an edited version.
[17:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So what is this?
[17:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is why she was matched because she's a character.
[17:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We should have believed her when in the beginning.
[18:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She said maybe I am the problem.
[18:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's who would appear based on episode five.
[18:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes indeed Courtney you may be the problem.
[18:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So Nick brings her back and was like, oh, we got off track for a second.
[18:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, you know, you talked about being playful.
[18:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And hey, example is for him, like, you know, there was a time that we were like, by the pool, like, you know, you could just throw me in the pool.
[18:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like, what the?
[18:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: How is that an example which is something she said in a confessional?
[18:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I really thought she was like half kidding and exaggerating Which is like she's so bored that she might have to throw him in the pool or something like to that effect and He says that he's been so cautious to the point where he's stifling that part of him and She piff us again and is like oh, so about why we're talking about all the things Let's talk about the reality TV stuff like what was your head space?
[18:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know going into this
[18:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he talks about being married and that he would rather that there were no cameras that he was just excited about this because it was a potential of him finding the love he was like I could be wrong, but I don't think he answered the question, my understanding was I was asking why he got into the reality stuff and doing multiple shows
[19:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Yes, potentially, if I didn't love of your life, answers why you said yes to Marinifer's site, but it doesn't answer why you did all the other shows.
[19:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, maybe potentially perfect match, but how many people find love there?
[19:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I think that's what she was asking, but I don't know.
[19:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't think he truly explained why he decided to do all these shows and stay in the reality realm, was he just looking, I know he said last episode he was trying to see the non-academic,
[19:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: has the HP in scratch?
[19:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Do you still want to do it?
[19:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is there some kind of end goal or end game?
[19:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like I don't know.
[19:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is he still working the 9 to 5 if he is as he remote?
[19:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because again, Batman lives in Austin.
[19:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I digress.
[20:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says, like, you know, they started off married so there's no flirting is so they have to figure out how to insert that in and she's like, yeah, I can do that.
[20:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I can do that.
[20:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So they had a good talk and they decided to work on that fast forward a little bit later.
[20:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They are at the final dinner.
[20:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It is the final dinner of the honeymoon because they're headed back home.
[20:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and they're talking about things they're going to do when they get back and she says she's looking to find a good sushi spot.
[20:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's mentioned like this is the closest we might actually get because he's like oh when I lived in Seattle there's a place above above above and
[20:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She said, is it close to something about paramount theater?
[20:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then she says, is it related to paramount studios?
[20:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is like, what do you mean?
[20:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it becomes a thing.
[20:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And they go back and forth.
[20:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, oh, this is you're learning each other.
[20:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But this is also like giving me a headache.
[20:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he says, like, he learned a lot about her.
[20:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and based on the wedding he thought they would be more joky, but you know they're doing better now and he loved the way that she communicates and she's like okay communication you like that good okay so she says that the boat was a breakthrough for them that she does believe that they are compatible
[21:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and she tells me that she's so happy they're doing this together and she loves it.
[21:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Do I believe it?
[21:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No.
[21:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we shall see.
[21:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They don't have chemistry guys.
[21:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know how they're going to find it, but they do not have chemistry.
[21:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So we'll see how that plays out.
[21:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Mecha and Bell Jolie, they're giving themselves props this is after the, each of the meetups because it seems like a lot that they have, the cocktail hour.
[21:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're giving themselves props for maneuvering the room.
[21:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, it was more Mecha giving Bell Jolie props from the way she worked the room to write what down to what she was wearing, that she was like a hot chocolate cinnamon stick or something like that.
[21:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Much later, they're in their bed, in their robes, and they're chitchatting.
[21:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he says, it feels like a marriage now, because earlier there were wondering, like, are they in the friend zone?
[22:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is it working for them?
[22:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But now it feels like a marriage, and it seems like everything isn't placed.
[22:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says, oh, does that mean I can smack you on the butt then?
[22:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Wait.
[22:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: excuse me?
[22:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Meca told us that he could smack her on the butt, they are liking each other, they say that it feels like a marriage.
[22:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why are we saying, can I smack you on the butt then?
[22:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Remember me saying.
[22:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He asked, like, okay, do you think one of us is more attracted than the other?
[22:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's like, I don't know, I don't know the answer to that.
[22:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, are you asking that question for a reason?
[22:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Do you have an answer?
[22:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why are they dancing around each other?
[22:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why are two attracting people who are attracted to each other, talking like this, stop it?
[22:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says, like, you know, she can feel their attraction from him, but she doesn't know the level of attraction.
[22:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says that, well, I feel like you are more attracted to me, but I feel like you look, he hide it.
[22:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then he says, like, I feel like you're 150% attracted to me.
[23:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, maybe 80% you guys.
[23:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Throw this into the trash.
[23:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Are we five?
[23:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What is this percentage ship?
[23:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What is measuring 150, 80, or whatever is we or is we not?
[23:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The heck are you attracted to her or not?
[23:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And if you are, take action.
[23:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And if you are, go at whatever pace.
[23:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She gave you the green light and you're still there.
[23:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Even if she's more attracted to you, 80% is still high, but what are we doing?
[23:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I feel like I mean, the twilight zone with this season.
[23:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like again, I said I was going to be open to this format and it's okay.
[23:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But my problem with what I'm struggling with, it's like, in the past, it's not like we don't know, we don't like Merla.
[23:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Merla said, I don't want someone bald.
[23:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They gave them someone bald.
[23:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Someone asked for something else and they'll give them, you know, uh, Alexis says, I want someone tall.
[23:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They just focus on the one thing, gave her someone really tall, but nothing else that she asked for.
[23:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's always been there.
[24:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But we've still also had the guys that, or had that belief that at some point at some level, we're still looking to have matches.
[24:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: here it does not seem like it's just strictly entertainment like we don't even care whether you know or not like it's straight into the fate into my face and I'm just okay so even if they do that matching now the people are together and all these people that are matched are just blowing my mind telling me I don't want to be with someone 24-7 saying that's someone is crazy we're going to get another one saying commitment scares me and you signed up
[24:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: with a forced into doing this.
[24:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So all of it is just all together combined driving me insane.
[24:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, so in the confessional version, he says, like, that is not what you want to hear as a woman.
[24:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she says, like, I don't care what it is.
[24:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like there is something wrong with that.
[24:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I have to agree with her.
[24:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But if you're attracted to someone, what are we doing in the 150, the 80, the what?
[24:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, let's stop it.
[24:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That is not cute, not sexy.
[25:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He doesn't stop there.
[25:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He continues like, okay, I don't even really think that you're a 150 because if you were you're not even acting accordingly like someone who's attracted at that level.
[25:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I think maybe it's a 60
[25:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's at 80 and he's at 60.
[25:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So not only has he reduced the percentage, he's still going on with this percentage to talk about.
[25:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says she doesn't care what it is that she cannot be the one more attracted to him.
[25:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And this is a confessional and that tells her that she needs to dial back because she can be out here looking crazy.
[25:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she's not gonna do that.
[25:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know what that's unfortunate because
[25:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: All these talk, they need to do less talking and more getting out of the friend's own please.
[25:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says that sometimes she wonders if she's embarrassing herself and I'm like it's not love island.
[25:51] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm kidding.
[25:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But
[25:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I do get where she's coming from, but her emotion should not be based on this.
[25:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I am judging this people differently in the fact that when they see these things, it is not a normal scenario, but if you made the choice to sign up for maths, my assumption is that you're signing up to give it your all.
[26:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You've also skipped several many steps that at this point
[26:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, you like him.
[26:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You like him.
[26:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's not.
[26:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Do you like me so then I like you or you like me 60 I like you 80.
[26:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You let they need to stop all of that.
[26:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So whichever expert they get to see I hope that's what they tell them because this is insane.
[26:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is a very insane conversation to watch and bad bad for meca.
[26:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Let's stop it.
[26:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Just also tell us that Kiffa's more confessional service than what he thinks, where are you at this point?
[26:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Do you find it attractive or do you not?
[26:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And if you do, why are you so convinced about missing things up?
[26:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Also define what does missing up mean?
[26:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When someone gives you to green light, what is missing up?
[26:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Someone who's accepted your perks and accepted your dad?
[26:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and everything else that, you know, has, you've thrown her away, like, what is the thing that you think will be messed up?
[27:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And if that's the case, talk about it with her.
[27:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Talk about it off camera.
[27:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You guys have moments where you could be off camera.
[27:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Please, just try.
[27:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Act like an adult who willingly signed up for a TV show to marry a stranger.
[27:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay?
[27:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Ugh, all right, guys.
[27:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'll take a break and I'll be right back.
[27:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Nikki and Sean, I'm sick of these people.
[27:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just, they exhaust me, but they go shopping and, you know, Diki tries on a dress and as she twirls, she's like, oh, I don't want to boot to pop out and Sean is like, I want to boot to pop out and like, but I'm not going to let it happen and she's like, oh, okay, then he goes well done and they do share a kiss.
[27:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like, okay, this is good, like, they're doing a couple of things, like they're not staying in the front zone, like no one's going to say,
[27:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, you're just friends.
[27:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So they sit down for dinner and she asked like, you know, what is, no, he asked her, like, what does friendship mean to her and is she willing to share her journey in her past relationships?
[28:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's like, oh, I love the way that you pose the question.
[28:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I do appreciate her, you know, noticing the effort when she's like, treat me delicately, treat me like a flower.
[28:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And
[28:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She shares about her first love and she's like, how, um, they were together for a long time.
[28:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I want to say it was like 10 years.
[28:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he's like, well, happened and she was like, you know, I just, I grew him like by year five, I, I grew him.
[28:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's like, how?
[28:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's like, I just had bigger dreams and goals.
[28:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And in fact, I remember him saying that he needed a simpler woman and it was just clear to her that she needed someone who could see her and hear her and not feel small.
[28:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I know Sean was dying inside because I know he was looking to challenge her.
[28:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's all he wants to do.
[28:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's challenge anything that, you know, she says because he feels like he's a professor.
[28:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh, sorry.
[28:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's Dr. Best.
[28:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he knows best.
[29:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he says that he has been in situations where he's pouring and pouring into people, but when he comes to difficult moments for him, they're avoiding him and they're not there for him.
[29:10] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says he has never experienced a love where someone is checking in on him that feels an alignment with him.
[29:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says that side because she can tell that he's loving and he says this is the first time with his wife.
[29:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: where he feels like he's not alone.
[29:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She tells us that the experience has accelerated them feeling comfortable.
[29:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's crazy since it's just been four days.
[29:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then we see them holding hands.
[29:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And they're walking.
[29:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So great.
[29:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The pool party happens.
[29:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then after the pool party, Nikki's telling Sean that he has been an emotional and spiritual leader in their relationship.
[29:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know, I don't know, I found out funny and you know, she needed that and she's grateful for that.
[29:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This man brings up again how does she feel about their level of intimacy?
[29:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm stopped as to why this keeps happening because I thought they had come to an agreement on what they've decided on that intimacy.
[30:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So who cares?
[30:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Why does it keep bringing it up?
[30:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: For a brief brief, brief second, I did wonder, like, Did they go far?
[30:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Did they do something?
[30:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And Nikki doesn't want that on camera, and he's just like, girl stop playing.
[30:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because I'm just, why does it keep bringing heat up?
[30:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They said wait until the eight weeks or until the end, or something like that.
[30:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So why does it keep bringing it up?
[30:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What is going to change about the answer?
[30:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's where I'm kind of confused.
[30:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she's like, you know, I'm comfortable where we are.
[30:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just wonder for a second, like, have we heard the word cuddle this much and maps ever?
[30:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It just seems to be a lot of talk about cuddling and it's not love island you can.
[30:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Anyways, she says when it's time to move forward, it will be organic and they will know.
[31:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He asked her, like, okay, so what are your other needs that are outside of sex?
[31:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and is there anything that you need for me?
[31:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And also, how do you fulfill your partner's needs in the meantime?
[31:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, ugh, this guy, this guy.
[31:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because that is a two-quarter, and two things that don't even make any sense, or don't correlate with each other.
[31:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because,
[31:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It feels like Nicky and I read it the same way because she's like, okay, since you're saying that, do you have specific needs that you want to share?
[31:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because clearly to me, he wasn't asking her a question for his knowledge.
[31:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He just wanted a time to do his pastime aggressive shit that he does and ask her, like, oh, okay, I have something that I want you to do.
[31:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's like, she didn't finish the question.
[31:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's like, yes, I have my needs.
[31:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: My needs are to be touched because of course, it has to be something physical.
[31:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He wants his head rub, tea wants his back rub, tea wants his partner to initiate kisses, and he thinks it's important for the partner to be playful, to smack his booty.
[32:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says everyone wants a wife who's obsessed with them.
[32:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says like, I am willing to, but I just made you six days ago as something you'll take time.
[32:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says something needs to be unlocked in her to be romantically,
[32:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: sexually attracted to him.
[32:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he's like, oh, okay, this is the first time that I'm hearing that you are not sexually attracted to me.
[32:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she says, okay, I understand that this is not explicit e-clear.
[32:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And
[32:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says he doesn't want to think that their kisses mean something, but she's like, nah, like, that's not, okay.
[32:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The reason why I say like I'm sick of these people is like, first of all, they're both passing aggressive.
[32:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's just what it is.
[32:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They never really say what it is.
[32:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And when they do speak, it's bullet points.
[32:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's like, you know how, if you're working corporate America, where is like, per my last email, would you please circle back?
[33:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Please, would you like those kind of language is the kind of way that it feels like they're speaking where there's so much being said in the subtext, but they're actually saying what they want to say.
[33:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So you can't really say like, oh, you're being rude, you're tiptoeing across that line, but you're really hard.
[33:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because it's basically a bless your heart.
[33:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's how I feel when I listen to them.
[33:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I could be wrong, but let me know what you think about that.
[33:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Um, he says, like, he doesn't want to be kissed because of, like, and respect because she says, like, um, he doesn't want to think that their kiss is mean something when he doesn't.
[33:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's like, no, like, I'm exploring, like, I like you, I respect you.
[33:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I do want to kiss you and see what this leads to.
[33:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he's like, yeah, don't, I don't want your pity kisses.
[33:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I don't want to kiss to be kissed because of, like, and respect.
[33:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it is misleading.
[33:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it's not honest, and it's not treating his heart with care.
[33:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: then he goes again professor just scolding her and she says like no I'm kissing you to explore and then he cuts her off and he's like let me speak and says if it's growing I can accept that and she's like do you do you accept that and then she just talk and then he cuts her off and then she does the same he says let me finish again and he says there have been times
[34:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: When I, and this is where this man gets really like odd, like he just says creepy things like he's a teenager.
[34:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says that every time when I've been on top, I've been on the side, I've kissed you with tongs, then with food in mouth, and it felt like sexual moments, and I'm reacting physically, I'm sick of this man, because basically he's in the end and direction, and I guess it's just finding the best way to
[34:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says, I do think there's sexual chemistry.
[34:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she says, okay, what I'm hearing is like, I shouldn't explore because you're reacting physically.
[34:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, again, is this some kind of language that I don't understand what they're saying?
[35:02] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is there something of camera that we don't know?
[35:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he's kind of threatening to outage and she's like, stop it right now.
[35:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And they're speaking a whole other language because what is this conversation?
[35:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What is this conversation?
[35:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: In the confessional, he says, girl stop playing.
[35:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like she wants to act like she's not attracted to me, girl stop.
[35:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like she'd tongue me down with food in her mouth.
[35:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Well, how is that even possible like you?
[35:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But, you know, one thing about Shavest, he's confident.
[35:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You cannot take that away from him.
[35:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he's convinced that Nikki wants him, Nikki likes him, Nikki's attracted to him, and she's frightened for the cameras.
[35:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know why she would do that, but okay.
[35:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says that he's open to exploring and that he would trust that as his wife, you are going to make it possible for us to be in alignment.
[35:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What is that line, guys?
[35:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This past progressive thing, like what is that line?
[35:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You cannot keep talking to her like you're admonishing her.
[35:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Anyways, he says I look forward to it the next six days leaders.
[36:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, is this like a timing thing?
[36:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Is this, was this the beginning of the honeymoon?
[36:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What is the next six days?
[36:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like what is that, why six?
[36:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That's it with them.
[36:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just distressed for the very very stressful.
[36:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: We move on to Cameron and Michelle and I know I've been saying like they're giving me nothing and giving you nothing is not always a bad thing if you're a boring couple and you like each other.
[36:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Hey, that works.
[36:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They had a myon ceremony and they shared that, you know, they kissed on the lips and they laugh about it.
[36:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And Cameron brings up and mentions how do you feel that I don't live in Seattle and I live in Portland.
[36:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know if you guys remember, but when I was wondering, I think when it was announced, I can't remember when I talked about it.
[36:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I was saying like, how is this going to work?
[36:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Because Connecticut also did love his blind in Seattle.
[36:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And they didn't have enough people and they had some people who were from Portland.
[36:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I want to say Kwame was from Portland and Brett was from Portland.
[36:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So,
[36:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's just a little unfair to do us who think that everyone is going to be in the same city and then you find out that, oh wait, they're not in the same city, like we're playing house, but at some point now on top of everything else, you have to think about relocating, you know?
[37:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he says he needs to be there till the end of the season in March and basketball gives him purpose and joy so he's not something that he can give up.
[37:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and there's only so many colleges that he can work at, so he can't always dictate where he wants to live.
[37:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He does ask her, she's open to living in different places, and she's like, basically, he was no, but I think she just kind of made it nice.
[37:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says she prefers Seattle more than Portland.
[37:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he was like, the big question is, can you leave your parents and she's like, ah, I think especially when we have kids, it's ideal to be close to the parents.
[37:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he asked so when would you want to start to have kids?
[37:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she says, well, I can't right now, like, you know, after surgery, once I told you I have to have another surgery, and once I have that surgery, I can't do anything until after a year.
[38:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he was like, yeah, that's fine.
[38:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, I feel like I need more time to get to know my wife.
[38:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And, you know, to spend time with her, he says that it's a huge change since she's on a tight timeline of having kids.
[38:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says that she's 34, so she'd rather start early, doesn't want to be a mom at 45.
[38:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He tells her to her face that there are flashes of just run in his brain when he thinks about marriage and having kids, and he does get scared.
[38:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he wonders if the old him will just be gone.
[38:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she says, well, I mean, if you feel like you need more space, or you need your independence, is
[38:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: intruded on then just let me know.
[38:44] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So the poor party happens and this is them after the poor party.
[38:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She shares with him that you know it's just been a few days but she feels closer to him and they've had so many good talks and she normally would not have this kind of conversation onto much, much later when people that she dated.
[39:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says it's hard to talk about how he feels but changes really hard for him.
[39:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and this whole thing is uncomfortable for him and it's just a lot to talk about kids and marriage and he just keeps wondering will he be trapped?
[39:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Y'all have to keep checking that he was saying this to her face and he absolutely was dead as being serious and I'm like okay I mean you do have to be honest but like I said earlier did he know what show he signed up for that it was married
[39:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't understand this people.
[39:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I really don't.
[39:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she says like this information that she's getting tells her that he values his independence, he says it again, that sometimes it makes him want to run for the heels and I'm like, okay, once was okay, but now you keep saying he's our face and this is getting really annoyed.
[39:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like what is your point here?
[39:59] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What is your end goal?
[40:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She tells him, and she asks him, if commitment is so scary, how did you end up a married her first sight?
[40:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, yes, girl, ask this question.
[40:08] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I do wish she asked him to straight face in all seriousness, not while laughing, because it's not a joking matter.
[40:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I need to understand what this man was thinking to do in this.
[40:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says it's a good question to ask and it's the thing that his mind is telling him two different things.
[40:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He knows deep down that marriage will enhance his life, but every now and then the doubts creep in.
[40:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says he hasn't run because of her, that he really does like her, that he enjoys her and her optimism isn't infectious.
[40:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, this turned us around for me and this is so nice.
[40:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It is one thing when you ask
[40:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: someone would they like a one's about someone and it's not like oh your eyes are you a smile are you're pretty he was very specific about her and I enjoyed the compliments that he gave her and just saying like our optimism is infectious and you know all of that stuff so she says that commitment is a choice that doesn't necessarily have to be a sacrifice on the last day while everyone is packing to leave Cameron comes in with the laundry and you
[41:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: they talk about living together and he's like, are you freaked out?
[41:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Just like, no, I'm not freaked out.
[41:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I've lived with two boyfriends.
[41:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's never lived with someone.
[41:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So she asked him for specific things that are going to annoy her and she's like, clean up your hair after shaving.
[41:24] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Make sure you take the trash out when it's full.
[41:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's like, I'll take that as my duty.
[41:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says he asked if her dog sheds and she says yes.
[41:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she goes, he goes, that will annoy me.
[41:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I just have to remind myself to vacuum every day.
[41:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and he seems like the rest of the compromise.
[41:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says maybe we should do a tourist list and then she laughs and he's like, is it funny?
[41:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she goes, yeah, I feel like I'm talking to my dad and he's like, ah.
[41:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So it looks like he has a dog as well, and they have like some dog owner, conversation, dog voice, baby voice, talk into their dogs, pet names, but they do have a good talk.
[42:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They see nice things about each other and they continue and they say they can't wait to continue all of this in Seattle.
[42:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So, all's well that ends well.
[42:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I know he's still annoyed me with his comments, but you know what?
[42:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He is being honest and he's telling her and she took it in stride.
[42:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I think,
[42:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The thing about all the people who are handling certain conversations well is that in the past I can't help but compare to past participants that would take certain information and use it as a reason to shut down everything.
[42:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But instead they take it in strength and like, okay, we can work through this, we can see how that goes.
[42:36] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They're not like fixating on it, and then
[42:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: keeping it using as a reason to not continue.
[42:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I mean, the court news and the kittens are there, but people like Michelle, who are moving with this.
[42:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Okay, Felipe and Tori, they are having dinner and he got her flowers and again, I'm trying not to read into it.
[42:55] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just want to remind everyone that my only one soul who for them is that on decision day, he brought flowers for her and I'm just, why would he bring flowers for someone he's trying to say no to.
[43:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But then again, maybe she's saying no, but he did give her flowers at this dinner, his singer her praises as usual and talking about living by himself and how messy he is.
[43:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They talk about living together and he asked her what her dream scenario would be.
[43:21] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says her dream scenario is owning a home based with a family, maybe having a summer house, they want children in five years.
[43:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He wants one, she wants two.
[43:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He says that he wants the children to be multicultural and they will definitely speak his language that currently he knows three and he's going to try to learn four.
[43:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know guys, keep me honest, if I missed this, I'm wondering if Tori shared anything about our culture and that's what he's referring to as the fourth or is he...
[43:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: just learning another language that he wants to pass down to your children.
[44:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So someone sure that with me, because she didn't respond by saying whatever that was.
[44:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he says he loves being near her and that she has already taken so much space in his heart even though it's only you know weak.
[44:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says she's in all of the matchmakers and she thinks them for bringing him to her
[44:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and they get up and they start dancing and Felipe says that his feeling really romantic and doesn't want to overwhelm her.
[44:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But he does all of like, you know, he wondered if he was good enough for her.
[44:32] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But he does think that they can do it.
[44:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she says, I think we have a good shot.
[44:37] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And then they kiss.
[44:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Very nice.
[44:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Very sweet.
[44:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Still in shock.
[44:41] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It is Felipe.
[44:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: The god.
[44:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They knew what they
[44:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: You know, speaking of Adam, Adam and Marissa, Adam says that he likes the way that she rubbed her hand and is leg.
[44:57] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and he wants her to feel loved.
[45:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: There's a whole rabbit harder, she's like later, all thing, good for them.
[45:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I guess the sexual chemistry is there.
[45:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So you know how I described Philippe in Torus's touristic choices.
[45:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And Torus, kids on the last episode, I don't remember if there's something like that where they kiss each other.
[45:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And it just stayed for so long that it looked like a freeze frame.
[45:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: It's the last day in Mexico.
[45:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They are going on double date with Devon and Katelyn.
[45:29] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They go to a water park.
[45:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I guess the ideas for Them to rub off on Katelyn.
[45:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know along with Adam soon socks don't forget Devon says like the way Adam and Marissa Actor on each other looks good and fun and he's craving that he wants her to give compliments.
[45:46] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He wants Katelyn to touch him and it feels like you know he's too much and his cup is in empty
[45:54] \[SPEAKER_00\]: back to Adam and Mary said they are a dinner and she does the taste test again.
[46:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I still think it's cute.
[46:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know if everyone thinks that way.
[46:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't think that's going to become their thing.
[46:05] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He does ask her to do the taste test.
[46:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But I'm like, if he asked for non-alcoholic, do you think they're going to slip alcohol into it?
[46:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like, well, this is encountered many mistakes.
[46:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know.
[46:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But they'll also rebate a couple.
[46:18] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They be each other to death.
[46:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: More so at him than Marissa.
[46:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She says they have like this cool thing that their margarita is or whatever is in.
[46:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and she says she wish they had a registry so they could get cool stuff like this.
[46:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he does a chair, he says chairs to Jetski and love and she does all that's so cute.
[46:35] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Oh my god, this Jetski obsession.
[46:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But Adam, Adam and the babe, so good babe.
[46:42] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Thanks, babe, yeah, babe, try and bite.
[46:45] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This caveman, he doesn't even cut his steak.
[46:48] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He just picks it up and just bites him to me.
[46:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Just puts his head back and bites him to me and holds it like a handheld burger or something like that.
[46:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he was like, so babe, what's the highlight of the honeymoon, babe?
[47:00] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's like hanging out with the other couples he asked if there's one couple that if there was one couple that she had to send home Who would it be and she's like you know one but he's like and she just shouldn't want to send it one home But she's like how about you who would you send her?
[47:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's like it's my boy Devon because he's putting himself out there and she's so reserved He says it's like skiing you can start it and jump but then if you change your mind that's how you get hurt
[47:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I'm like, okay, we're now focusing on a couple of Marissa's always agreeing with him.
[47:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Then she's like, okay, but you know like when we get back that we're going to do couples therapy.
[47:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And don't you think they can work through this?
[47:40] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he's like, nah, they're cooked.
[47:43] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's guys so bro, I've never seen anything like it.
[47:47] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She asks what it would be like to live with him.
[47:50] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he says, um, just have fun and switches to, so you come back from work and you stress and have a long day.
[47:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: What is the hardest thing that I can wear for you?
[48:01] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She's like a ape rod.
[48:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And he says pants are no pants.
[48:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just like I might be dangerous for you to not wear pants And he goes oh yeah, it might be dacy He asks her what she thinks they would fight about and she says I think
[48:17] \[SPEAKER_00\]: him liking jet skis over her and her getting jealous and he kind of compares it to like having a kid and I'm like okay so much I can this man the obsession with jet ski I don't think is normal it doesn't make any sense sure he wishes he had a jet ski cake or something got his wedding
[48:34] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So he says that one of his exes hated that he said the word bro too much you guys I burst out laughing because this is me my complaints about him is like he's so growing and it's just always growing and he's like
[48:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: This is something that his ex just complete because she was a little confused.
[48:52] \[SPEAKER_00\]: She was like, oh, that you broke or what is like, no, that I just say the word broke a lot.
[48:58] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And she's like, well, I love the way that you talk and she just be a self all the time.
[49:03] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't think I recall him saying thanks babe or anything.
[49:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He's just like, yeah, then he was like, babe.
[49:09] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Would you feel like a spark or sensation?
[49:12] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Do you think we have a spark or sensation?
[49:13] \[SPEAKER_00\]: He was like, you know what, we don't have a fire.
[49:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: No, we have a fire, not a spark.
[49:19] \[SPEAKER_00\]: And I'm like, here at the Sims, ladies and gentlemen, like it's kind of just amusing watching them.
[49:25] \[SPEAKER_00\]: and kind of I argue that some may say that their conversation may seem shallow, but maybe shallow is good for the honeymoon, because I do feel like a lot of the conversations that we've had with the couples have been kind of intense.
[49:39] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I think maybe the honeymoon, because I did ask questions, they almost talked about the fight, it was the hardest thing, and maybe over time they can develop that, but maybe the highman keeps things like,
[49:53] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I kind of feel like I was digging them.
[49:56] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Like I see what it may say maybe surface, but maybe works for them and we'll see what happens in the next few weeks.
[50:04] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So that was the episode guys.
[50:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: That was it.
[50:07] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Everybody's headed home to Seattle or at home.
[50:11] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know if it's home for the egg, but everybody's headed home to Seattle.
[50:14] \[SPEAKER_00\]: So I think the big drama is going to
[50:16] \[SPEAKER_00\]: start with them and hopefully they have two better environments because we're about to anticipate because some people will talk about 24-7.
[50:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know who they thought they were going to live with when they got married.
[50:27] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But what they thought to show was going to be about.
[50:30] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But we'll see.
[50:31] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But before I wrap up the episode, let me share who my bouquet is surprise surprise for my bouquet my bouquet went to Cameron and Michelle and then went to Cameron and Michelle because I've been saying that they were boring, but I think that they kind of picked things up and things kind of perk up a little with them.
[50:49] \[SPEAKER_00\]: They have like a conversation and Cameron showed me you know proof of life and like there's something there There's a pulse there and they seem to be trudging along and it's just a huge improvement from the last episode that I would get them my bouquet As for my ashes, I am giving it to Nicky and Sean.
[51:06] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I just can't with them like this pushpool has me on edge I don't know if they like each other Sean just wants to become bad even just wants to keep
[51:15] \[SPEAKER_00\]: arguing, Nicky's just dancing around things and he's finding out things on the fly.
[51:20] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know what he's been said or what hasn't been said.
[51:22] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know who's lying.
[51:23] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know what's real or what's not with them.
[51:26] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I don't know why we're Sean.
[51:28] \[SPEAKER_00\]: Wait, now that I think about it, we're Nicky and Sean at the pool party.
[51:33] \[SPEAKER_00\]: I can't remember, because I don't think Sean spoke with any of the guys, but
[51:38] \[SPEAKER_00\]: But yeah, that's it, you know, for the episode, I'll be back with the episode 6 so look up for that.
