Leadership, at its core, is simply the opposite of victimhood. Yes, it’s the decision, made fresh each morning, to take responsibility for your life, your work, and the special corner of the world you inhabit. And here is what I know about real leaders: they do not emerge in the sunshine. They emerge in the darkness. We are living through one of the most volatile, uncertain, and disorienting periods in modern memory. And that is precisely when your leadership matters most. My latest book “The Wealth Money Can’t Buy” is full of fresh ideas and original tools that I’m absolutely certain will cause quantum leaps in your positivity, productivity, wellness, and happiness. Excuses to results. You know, and let me check in with you here right now. What are your excuses? Maybe you have said them so many times, they're part of your thinking that you don't even know about. You know, maybe you say, well, I want to get really fit, but I don't have the time. I want to be an epic performer in my team or my organization, but there's too much change we're going through. You could be saying, well, my excuse is I don't have enough education. You could be saying, my excuse is I don't have the right tools. And yet, when you shift from excuses to saying no matter what it takes, even if I don't have the tools, I will shift results. You literally shift from being a victim to being a leader.
