[0:00] Hallelujah, are you excited to be in church?
[0:06] Wow, wow, wow. Glory to Jesus.
[0:10] So we want to try to finish up on our teaching on the progress
[0:20] of salvation. Hallelujah.
[0:23] Now we we began a very important series on please.
[0:29] I'm teaching for 15 minutes, so exactly 15 minutes.
[0:31] Somebody should draw my attention.
[0:32] OK, exactly 15 minutes. All right, so when is 5 minutes
[0:39] before the time I let me. OK All right, so we began the
[0:47] journey on the progress of salvation.
[0:49] And we said that the first thing that you need to understand on
[0:53] the progress of salvation is what you understand enough.
[0:58] This class is we go just three weeks of living and you're
[1:00] forgotten #1 is what? Oh, this class, I don't like
[1:07] that too. Number one is follow me, follow
[1:11] me, just follow me. Forgiveness.
[1:14] Your understanding of forgiveness is very crucial in
[1:17] understanding the progress of salvation #2 you understand
[1:21] enough righteousness #3 your understanding of hi.
[1:31] Today, when we close second service, nobody's going home.
[1:35] We are going to go back to class again and refresh our memories
[1:39] because these foundational truths are very important.
[1:43] Hallelujah. If you miss them, NASA come
[1:45] first. Service is usually for doctrine.
[1:49] In as much as we still preach doctrine in the second service,
[1:52] this one is mainly to establish believers in doctrine.
[1:54] So by the time you come for first service for a long time,
[1:59] there are some basic foundational doctrines that you
[2:02] can't miss. So if you don't pay attention
[2:06] and if you don't learn as you have the opportunity, it's going
[2:09] to really affect your, your foundation as a Christian.
[2:16] So because of time, I want to go straight to #4 or the 4th
[2:21] progress of salvation, which we call what, which we call what
[2:26] consecration. So we said that there is a
[2:30] certain progress of salvation. And this progress has got to do
[2:34] with a setting understanding that builds up in practice.
[2:39] We said your first understanding is the fact that you are
[2:43] forgiven. Your understanding of
[2:45] forgiveness must be a firm foundation that you must have as
[2:48] a child of God. But you see, there is a certain
[2:52] progress of understanding that you must also come to, which is
[2:56] the understanding of righteousness.
[2:58] And we have explained the concept of righteousness in this
[3:00] detail #3 is the concept of sanctification.
[3:07] Praise God. Then we came to the 4th progress
[3:11] of salvation which we call Word consecration.
[3:15] Very important because a lot of times many Christians just come
[3:19] to understand the concept of forgiveness and the good news
[3:23] about forgiveness without a proper balance can mislead you.
[3:29] Praise God. So we need to understand that
[3:32] every truth has an accompanying truth that should bring you into
[3:40] balance. Which is why the Word of God is
[3:43] a doubled edged sword. It's doubled edge.
[3:52] So if you understanding of the fact that your past, your
[3:55] present and your future sins have been forgiven without a
[3:59] certain body of knowledge and truth to help you understand why
[4:04] you are forgiven, you may be licentious.
[4:09] A lot of people in the grace community have messed up their
[4:12] lives because of the understanding of forgiveness
[4:15] only and that of righteousness. Why did God forgive you?
[4:23] Why did God make you righteous apart from your works?
[4:29] So we are saying that you are forgiven and made the
[4:32] righteousness of God for you to progress into what we call
[4:37] sanctification. But you see, in sanctification
[4:49] we abstain. We keep ourselves pure.
[4:55] But the concept of consecration is more than abstinence.
[5:01] It's more than separating yourself from sin or
[5:05] contamination. Consecration is simply giving
[5:13] yourself to the Lord. Consecration is devotion to God.
[5:27] That's the basic understanding of consecration.
[5:31] It's a life of total devotion and commitment.
[5:35] I told you in salvation we don't give our life to Christ.
[5:40] You know, I mean, if we want to sound very general, if you say
[5:44] you have given your life to Christ, it's not really wrong.
[5:50] If anybody says I've given my life to Christ, it's not wrong.
[5:52] But when we're speaking biblically, we don't give our
[5:55] life to Christ because we don't have a life to give.
[5:59] In Ephesians 2, one, we were dead in trespasses and sins, so
[6:05] we were spiritually dead. So what life did you have to
[6:10] give to Him? It's death.
[6:12] Rather, we receive the life that He gives.
[6:18] So in salvation we received the life of Christ.
[6:22] For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son,
[6:25] that whosoever believed in him should not perish.
[6:27] But what have received have eternal life.
[6:31] So eternal life is something that was given and something we
[6:34] received and have. So the life of God is what we
[6:38] received in Christ. So in salvation Christ gave his
[6:43] life to us. But in consecration we give our
[6:46] life to the Lord. In Second Corinthians chapter 2
[6:50] to chapter 8 verse 2, it gives us an understanding of
[6:53] consecration. The Bible says how that in great
[6:56] trial of affliction and abundance of their joy and their
[7:04] deep poverty abounded riches of their liberality.
[7:10] Next verse for to their power I bear record.
[7:19] Yeah. And beyond their power they were
[7:21] willing of themselves. Oh, I think I've missed that
[7:25] scripture. Can someone get that for me?
[7:29] 2nd Corinthians chapter 8. Let me lookout for that.
[7:36] Thank you Holy Spirit. Which speaks of giving ourselves
[7:40] to the Lord. Good chapter 8 verse 5 Now look
[8:06] the Bible says and this they did not as we hoped commanding that
[8:10] church, but first they did what as Christians.
[8:13] They are not born again, they have the life of God.
[8:14] What did they do? They first what gave their own
[8:17] selves what to the Lord. So it is only a Christian that
[8:22] can give his life to Christ. Are you getting something here?
[8:28] No Sinner can give his life to Christ.
[8:31] Only a only a Christian maybe. Let's go into Second Corinthians
[8:38] chapter 5. Second Corinthians chapter 5
[8:43] Come to the verse 14 Second Corinthians 514.
[8:48] Now the Bible says the love of Christ constrained us.
[8:50] It restricts us, OK, because we judge thus that if one died for
[8:59] all, then all were dead, and that he died for all.
[9:04] That day which live? Ah, you getting that day which
[9:08] live. So Jesus died so that you can
[9:12] live. Now that you are life, now that
[9:14] you have life. They which live, what will
[9:16] happen to them? Should not henceforth can you
[9:19] communicate with me? Do what?
[9:21] Live unto themselves, but unto Him that what died for them and
[9:28] was again I learned something today good so quickly.
[9:39] What is consecration We want to go into it.
[9:41] I want to refresh you again. Then we move now the Bible
[9:45] consecration are the spiritual systems.
[9:50] Remember, I've given you the basic explanation of
[9:53] consecration. That is giving yourself to the
[9:55] Lord right now. Consecration are the spiritual
[9:58] systems built around your spiritual life.
[10:06] They are the spiritual systems built around your spiritual life
[10:11] that becomes coaches governing your work with God.
[10:16] They are the spiritual systems built around your spiritual life
[10:21] that becomes coaches governing your work with God.
[10:27] This is the best this one is ILP explanation of consecration.
[10:31] I defined it myself. So they are the spiritual
[10:36] systems built around your spiritual life.
[10:39] Pay attention that becomes what conscious governing your work
[10:43] with God. So in consecration the believer
[10:52] builds a spiritual system that is around his spiritual life,
[10:59] and in that system he builds it becomes his own culture he lives
[11:04] in to protect his work with God. Are we following this now?
[11:13] Consecration is also giving yourself to the Lord.
[11:23] They are also spiritual cultures developed to be with Jesus.
[11:31] They are spiritual cultures developed to be with Jesus and
[11:38] hear me and hear me clearly. Without consecration, the
[11:43] Christian will surely backslide. Without consecration, the
[11:56] Christian can never successfully fulfill his assignment.
[12:15] Without consecration, the believer will fall into the trap
[12:18] of the devil. Every trap setter says you'll
[12:21] fall into it without consecration.
[12:27] Now let me just explain why consecration is very important
[12:32] before we go into the details of consecration.
[12:35] Now, consecration is so important that before Satan
[12:39] attacks you, he first attacks your consecration.
[12:44] Maybe I'm going to go a bit into some deep spiritual stuff.
[12:47] Are you ready for it? Now this is the simple truth.
[12:53] Satan does not waste his ammunitions on just everybody.
[13:00] He doesn't waste his ammunitions on nominal Christians.
[13:04] If you're a Christian who is not serious, you don't.
[13:06] You just live anyhow. You just do what you want to do.
[13:09] Satan does not waste his ammunition on you because you
[13:11] already slave. But any Christian that begins to
[13:15] make a certain progress in his work with God, he will invest a
[13:20] lot of ammunition on ensuring that you don't make that
[13:23] progress. Are you following me?
[13:26] And if Satan notices that your work with God is becoming
[13:31] strong, he first begin to discern or perceive the kind of
[13:35] consecration making you look strong.
[13:39] So he notices that every six o'clock you pray, every 630 you
[13:45] do Bible study from 6:30 to 7:00.
[13:48] It's a consecration that you are observing to be able to
[13:51] strengthen your work with God. Satan begins to do a research
[13:54] around your consecration because he cannot break you until he has
[13:57] broken your consecration. So for him to break you, he
[14:02] first break your consecration. So if you don't have a
[14:05] consecration, you're already broken.
[14:12] I hope somebody's learning something here.
[14:15] I'm teaching you some secrets that some people did not know.
[14:19] I was discussing with Pastor Sack that one of the reasons why
[14:26] a lot of gifted people from Kumasi are backsliding is
[14:30] because of consecration. Do you know that in Ghana, the
[14:34] most gifted land is Kumasi? Are you away?
[14:39] Yes, if you're looking for profits, they may not have not
[14:45] gone. They may not have not.
[14:46] I've gone to school, but I'm telling you where our children
[14:49] are from head to toe. You prophecy everything about
[14:52] your life. They pay the price for noting.
[14:56] They don't pay the price for maintenance.
[15:00] So after the noting comes, sure he's out of the presence of God.
[15:05] He will fast for 40 days out of your mountains that nothing
[15:07] comes back. He forgets that it is
[15:09] consecration that gives a nothing.
[15:13] It's consecration that protects you.
[15:15] Satan is no move that you anointed.
[15:19] He's moved that you have built a rigid system governing and
[15:24] protecting your work with God. Are you following this?
[15:30] So now in Daniel chapter 6 the verse 5, Satan tried several
[15:42] times to fight Daniel. Now this teaching will bless
[15:46] you. Satan notices that Daniel had a
[15:49] solid intercessory ministry where in Daniel 610 he prayed 3
[15:55] times a day. Now look at this thing, Daniel
[15:58] 610 Now the Bible says Now, Daniel, when Daniel knew that
[16:04] the writing was signed, he went into his house and his windows
[16:08] been opened in his chamber toward Jerusalem.
[16:10] He kneeled upon his knees. What 3 are you here?
[16:14] He kneeled upon his knee, what, three times a day, and prayed
[16:17] and gave thanks before his God? Ask so.
[16:21] That was his life. So that was the consecration
[16:25] that kept Daniel's anointing. That was the consecration that
[16:29] kept Daniel from being spotted and defiled by the delicacies
[16:34] and the system of Babylon. So now Satan had to find a way
[16:40] to break Daniel's consecration so he can, because it was
[16:44] Daniel's prayer that was affecting so many things that
[16:47] was going on, and Satan was intimidated.
[16:50] So he has to find a means of destroying Daniel's
[16:55] consecration. So do you know that a decree was
[16:59] made that nobody should pray for 30 days?
[17:02] Do you understand? Hey, no one should pray for 30
[17:09] days. Apart from Daniel, Did we ever
[17:13] hear anybody praying three times a day?
[17:14] We didn't. So you see Satan established a
[17:22] system that will destroy Daniel's consecration so he can
[17:27] be able to infiltrate the system.
[17:31] So now when Daniel heard that that decree has been signed, he
[17:35] decided that he will not break his consecration.
[17:37] Now look in Daniel chapter 6 verse 5 it explain what I'm
[17:41] saying. Then said these men, we shall
[17:44] not find any occasion against Daniel, except we find it
[17:52] against him concerning the love is God, the laws that were
[17:56] governing his work with God. Are you learning?
[18:07] So the church can decree 70 days fast and says to Massa Massa
[18:10] medium, I pray that 70 days was actually the protection of your
[18:17] spiritual work with God. That was your consecration and
[18:20] then you despise it because Satan will whisper to you and
[18:22] tell you look we are fasted enough, how can we play 3 times
[18:30] online? What are we looking for online?
[18:32] I will go offline that offline or what will be what will take
[18:40] you off? So you see, God knows that many
[18:46] Christians themselves don't have unique consecrations that
[18:50] governs them personally. So sometimes He uses the Church
[18:53] to help you consecrate. I hope somebody's learning
[19:02] something this morning. He knows yourself.
[19:08] You can't. So sometimes you have to use the
[19:11] church to help your consecration.
[19:12] And the challenge is that many Christians ignore their
[19:16] consecration and so look. So before Daniel attack was
[19:20] attacked, his consecration was attacked.
[19:32] Are you learning? Why is it that at first you were
[19:37] praying 4:00 AM every day and suddenly something happened?
[19:40] You have you have not been able to go back again.
[19:46] Satan knows that that established system will protect
[19:49] you. Amen.
[19:59] Are you learning all right? Consecration is your shield.
[20:06] Consecration is the believer's shield.
[20:13] Consecration is your barricade or your barrier for protection.
[20:29] So what if you don't have a consecration?
[20:34] You know what it means. It means you're exposed.
[20:39] Any believer that doesn't have a consecration is exposed to
[20:46] vulnerable. Are you learning?
[20:53] So you see, I'm going to, I just want to go ahead of myself a
[20:56] bit. We're going to come back in
[20:58] consecration. There are two kinds.
[21:02] There are general consecrations, and they are unique
[21:08] consecrations. General consecrations are the
[21:12] consecrations the Bible gives us.
[21:17] General consecrations are the consecrations that the Lord
[21:20] gives to us in this word. If you read your Bible very
[21:25] well, you will know consecrations given to the
[21:28] believer to protect him. Flee, fornication.
[21:36] Flee is your consecration. Anything around that you flee,
[21:42] you are protected. It is a meditate, it is a
[21:49] speaking tongues, it's a flea, that's a consecration.
[21:54] Pray without ceasing. So when you read the word of
[21:57] God, you find out the general consecrations that will protect
[22:01] you. So there are put consecrations
[22:11] that protect your heart. There are consecrations that
[22:14] protect your mind. There are consecrations that
[22:18] protect your will. There are consecrations that
[22:21] protect your emotions. There are consecrations that
[22:24] protect your sexual organs. There are consecrations that
[22:29] protect your relationships with people.
[22:31] There are consecrations, for example, there are people, they
[22:36] don't want to hear any bad thing about their pastor.
[22:39] They don't want to. If they trust that man, they
[22:42] don't want to. That becomes a consecration that
[22:44] protects them because once something happens and your mind
[22:48] is affected concerning your pastor, you can't receive.
[22:52] Are you following what I'm saying?
[22:55] So the consecrations protect us in many ways, our heart, our
[22:58] mind, our will, our emotion, our sexual organs, our
[23:02] relationships. So without consecration, you're
[23:05] not protected. Your will will be will be loose
[23:10] your heart, anything can enter your mind.
[23:13] You're just see, you're just watching everything on Facebook.
[23:16] Do you see you can't recover from last.
[23:19] You're watching everything that you see every video you watch
[23:22] some you are not consecrated and that's the truth.
[23:29] And a believer who is not consecrated, you listen to every
[23:32] song. It means that, look, there are
[23:34] some wetly songs that don't hurt a dime.
[23:37] But the challenge is that you keep listening on to one day you
[23:40] stumble upon a wetly song that has a spirit back in it and that
[23:45] can be undoing. Am I teaching good here?
[23:51] So I have a consecration. I would not play a wetly song.
[23:55] No, it's a consecration. Is it always a nice song?
[23:59] It's a good. I won't.
[24:03] Are you following me? There was one time I think
[24:05] somebody was playing some song that says the song is from, I
[24:07] don't mention the name of the artist.
[24:09] And they said the song is a hit. It was about 100 million views.
[24:13] And then the person played the song.
[24:15] I was just, the song was one of the ugliest songs I've ever had
[24:20] in my life. And I was like, who listen to
[24:24] this and said this is a hit song.
[24:30] So you see, my consecration has helped me to live in another
[24:33] world. Well, what excites people don't
[24:37] excite me. Please are willing.
[24:44] Then there are unique consecrations.
[24:47] Now, unique consecrations are not the general ones you find in
[24:51] Scripture. They are the ones the Lord told
[24:52] you. They are the ones the Lord told
[24:58] you personally as you pray. Yes, they are also the ones you
[25:09] learn from great men by their experience.
[25:14] You hear man of what says. The Lord told me in 1996 that I
[25:18] should never do this. You can learn from that unique
[25:21] consecration and copy it. It will save you.
[25:30] And then there are personal consecrations, the one you
[25:33] decide never to do or you decide to do.
[25:39] Are you following? So general consecrations are
[25:42] unique consecrations and personal consecrations.
[25:46] Now, in unique consecrations, God can tell you that you alone
[25:50] don't do this. It doesn't mean everybody should
[25:52] do it. It doesn't mean everybody should
[25:54] not do it. So sometimes people want to
[25:57] impose their unique consecrations on abyss.
[25:59] It won't work. So unique consecrations, God
[26:09] told you that this is what you would do every last week of the
[26:14] month, only you. There are some people, their
[26:18] consecration, God has told them on their birthday they shouldn't
[26:21] celebrate, they should go to orphanage and when donate, they
[26:27] have done that for 10 years. That thing that they are doing,
[26:30] that consecration is surfacing something on their spiritual
[26:34] altar without them doing. There are some people God tells
[26:41] them on Tuesdays, do this, I follow him.
[26:48] Do you know that there were many, many, many Nazarites who
[26:54] had the chance of doing some things, but something was given
[26:57] a unique consecration. Don't touch his hair, Don't
[27:02] touch his mouth with wine. God instructed it.
[27:08] So the secret of something strength was in his obedience to
[27:12] the unique consecration God gave through his mother to him.
[27:19] I follow him. I know a man of God, anytime
[27:22] he's coming to preach and he's been driven, he doesn't talk to
[27:25] anybody. If you talk to him, he won't
[27:27] reply until he's done preaching. God spoke to him.
[27:36] So if you are somebody who is not spiritual, you'll be
[27:37] offended. Are you from what I'm saying?
[27:51] I told you about house watching UFC one time?
[27:53] UFC, no, UFC the bloody fight because I was fed up with
[27:57] wrestling. I was like wrestling.
[28:01] I said like these people, do you think they are joking here they
[28:07] are punching the person. When you look carefully, they
[28:09] are. He's using his, he's not using
[28:10] his hand. That's like we won't really
[28:14] think so. So I started watching UFCI loved
[28:17] it because it was bloody. Tell it, blows are blows.
[28:19] Mucha mucha is bloody. One day I was watching and
[28:24] gossip. This is your last time.
[28:30] It was very painful, but I understood why.
[28:37] Ask me why I won't tell you So one day I was telling God that
[28:47] Lord I don't want to serve you as a married man and one day
[28:55] sleep with somebody else. Help me.
[29:01] I was in prayer and God said don't talk to any woman casually
[29:06] after 10:00 PM and I made it 9:30.
[29:13] So you have a relationship problem except it is dead, a
[29:16] life. Call me from morning to 8:00.
[29:22] I'm saying if you are dying, call me.
[29:29] So anytime something happens by emergency and I have to talk to
[29:35] you at that time, I apologize to you.
[29:36] First. You can ask Reverend Benjamin
[29:38] one time I have to call by emergency.
[29:40] I apologize to him for calling his wife at 10:00 PM.
[29:45] That consecration, oh, it has protected me for years.
[29:50] So I cannot be having secret chance and I'm no, it can't
[29:53] happen. So that's me.
[29:55] Oh, I'm not saying you should copy me, but that's me.
[30:02] Oh, no, you're very strong. That's me.
[30:10] And I've never regretted it. I also have personal
[30:16] consecrations. Personal consecration.
[30:18] Any unusual message that seems a little something with another
[30:22] opposite sex. I showed it to my wife.
[30:24] I showed it to my wife. Anything suspicious and I say
[30:30] anything no, anything that has an appearance of I showed
[30:38] screenshot. If she's not who my screenshot
[30:40] and I send it to her. I told you how, when what I said
[30:43] that one one lady, I was there to put the lady send a message
[30:51] and the message was very wild. I'm telling you if you are a
[30:54] sportsman of God, you do evil. The lady says she has been
[31:01] lasting after me for some time. Thousand women come with BBS.
[31:13] And she sent a message to me that she had a dream.
[31:22] And in the dream me and her were sleeping together and then I was
[31:28] crying on her laps telling her that I don't like what I'm
[31:31] doing. And I told her that let's keep
[31:40] the relationship secrets. And then she was also crying
[31:43] that she doesn't want to leave me here for me.
[31:47] The moment I sent a message back to her, I said this dream is not
[31:51] from God. It can never be from God.
[31:54] You are having an unholy desire for a man of God who is also
[31:59] married. And that unholy desire has
[32:03] entered into your dream. If you don't kill it, it will
[32:05] kill you. So I, I sent a screen, I, I sent
[32:10] the message to my BA pastor Ka for evidence sake one day.
[32:15] Then I, I sent a copy to my wife and I said to my PE mark this
[32:20] one. Mark this one.
[32:23] You know, in the Bible, the Bible speaks of mark some
[32:26] people. So they mark that one.
[32:29] They put hysteria on her. Look, if you don't have
[32:38] consecration, if I was battling with lust and I was just keeping
[32:42] it. And the girl said she has been
[32:43] lusting after me. Said me myself, I've been
[32:44] lusting after you. I I know of a case of a lady who
[32:56] had the last problem, went to a man of God to discuss with her.
[32:58] Within two weeks, the man of God has finished again.
[33:03] You know why some people have decided not to go to church
[33:05] again? It's because people who lack
[33:07] consecration, who are supposed to be protecting the people of
[33:11] God, have rather messed up their lives.
[33:19] That's what we are teaching you on consecration.
[33:21] If you're not consecrated, something will happen.
[33:24] You don't have consecration, you will fall.
[33:25] Are you following me? If you're a lady and you are
[33:40] sick, no matter how sick you are me, I'll carry you personally
[33:42] and take you to the hospital. I'll call somebody.
[33:47] I doubt there are two extra guys in the car with one lady has a
[33:50] testimony please. Are you listening to what I'm
[33:57] teaching you? You are so strong that you visit
[34:03] ladies alone. You will fall.
[34:10] I'm telling you I'm teaching good though.
[34:14] I know you don't like it. That's why I'm not responding.
[34:17] But my son. Consecration, please tell
[34:26] somebody consecration, Hallelujah.
[34:37] All right. So an example also of
[34:43] consecration is Job chapter 31, the verse one.
[34:49] Job said he made a covenant, a pact with his eyes.
[34:55] I've made a covenant with my eyes.
[34:57] Why then should I think upon a maid?
[35:00] Give that to me in amplified, amplified.
[35:04] Let's do it quickly. He says that I've made a
[35:08] covenant agreement with my eyes. How can I guess at lustfully at
[35:12] a virgin? Look at message translation.
[35:17] I love message, he says. I made a solemn pact with myself
[35:22] never to undress a girl with my eyes.
[35:27] That was a consecration. He made a covenant with his
[35:29] eyes. So we look in consecration.
[35:31] You have to make covenant with your eyes on things you should
[35:33] watch and things you can't watch.
[35:35] I'm teaching you on consecration you are born again.
[35:37] You are forgiving. You are the righteousness of
[35:38] God. But you see, without
[35:40] consecration you are forgiven by the Lord.
[35:43] But I'm telling your life will be a mess.
[35:50] Amen. Look, look, one of the ways of
[35:55] fighting spiritual warfare is consecration.
[36:00] Yeah. I'm telling you, if you are not
[36:03] consecrated as a child of God, you are not prepared for
[36:05] spiritual warfare. Steve, come.
[36:14] You are very, let's assume you're very broke.
[36:17] You need money. You have suffered in life.
[36:19] Things are not working for you. You have prayed that things not
[36:21] happening and then everything seems haywire.
[36:28] And then suddenly somebody comes to you and says that you have a
[36:36] bank account. He says, yes, all right, we want
[36:40] to do something. It won't affect you.
[36:43] We are passing dirty money. You know dirty money.
[36:46] You understand the context through your account and we'll
[36:51] give you 10%. How much is the money $7,000,000
[36:57] and we are giving you 10%, that's how much $700,000 or
[37:01] shower. Bro, I'm telling you, you come
[37:03] to church, you love the Lord, you play drums, everything is
[37:05] fine. You are so leader and they said
[37:11] it's just a one day transaction. They just give you your cat and
[37:14] then everything's over. You move on back to your life.
[37:17] You can come and continue the drums.
[37:18] Now this time you're coming with a grand style.
[37:20] That's what I'm saying. And they said that they won the
[37:27] decision by the next day. Question.
[37:31] Is it very tempting? Yes, it's very.
[37:35] Do you think you may it is possible it you can be able if
[37:40] actually sure you can be able to consider just give me an honest
[37:42] report. 5050. You see, no, honesty is very
[37:49] key. Me, I'm an honest man.
[37:50] That's what has brought me this far.
[37:53] What he's saying is a serious matter.
[37:56] So once it is 5050, actually it's not 5050, it is actually
[38:04] 9010. The 5050 is a political term
[38:13] which means that when that offer comes, it is only consecration
[38:17] that can make him say no. Because everything within him
[38:28] looking at his life and how he can change it in one day would
[38:31] tell him do it. But you see at the end of the
[38:34] day, the things he has been stepping in the word of God over
[38:37] the years, the consecrations, the money devoted.
[38:39] This guy cannot go and bring the money and go back and go and
[38:42] take the transaction. The consecration saves him.
[38:46] So now it is the culture he has built around God that becomes
[38:50] his savior. Am I helping you?
[39:01] Hallelujah. Second, you stay alone.
[39:06] All right, So imagine you are at home and then one of the members
[39:09] from this church who is a female calls you at 11:45 PM and says,
[39:17] Steven, I'm stranded. I'm stranded.
[39:20] They just sacked me from my hostel.
[39:22] I don't have anywhere to go, Steven.
[39:30] I don't have anybody. Even my female France.
[39:33] I'm not picking up my go. Can I spend the night in your
[39:36] house? The next morning I go.
[39:43] Now this thing, the girl is very stranded.
[39:46] Genuinely, what will you do? I won't allow.
[39:50] Hey, so if you allow #1 there's a certain bit of wickedness
[40:00] because the person is outside at 11:45 and armed robbers can
[40:03] attack it. Somebody can stop here and
[40:07] imagine they're having a funeral.
[40:08] You attended a funeral of somebody you could have helped
[40:10] and they stopped there. The conscience will not forgive
[40:15] you for a long time. So OK, if in case you want to
[40:19] help me, what would you say to her?
[40:22] Maybe we can find a female friend or someone.
[40:25] So you see, before he even thinks about this matter, it
[40:29] means that there's a certain fear of God on him that will
[40:32] make him say that. But imagine this guy is into
[40:34] pornography. No, I'm sure I live in 13.
[40:38] I said now I said the tip of his pen drive and I get on a Freya.
[40:49] Hey radius Lord at that time because he lived his life anyhow
[40:59] and he's not consecrated. That will be the reason why he
[41:03] fall. Please, am I teaching you
[41:05] something? Lastly, you are working in a
[41:11] company, they're paying 7000 Ghana CDs.
[41:14] Your immediate boss comes to you and tells you that look Steve, I
[41:18] want to do a dirty deal with you.
[41:19] Don't tell anybody about it. The cut for that deal is 700,000
[41:25] CDs. Now he's your boss, which means
[41:29] he can take you out at any time and that is the job that you are
[41:32] using to take care of your children.
[41:35] Your children are in GIS. You are driving CRV, That's what
[41:45] you used to Ford the car. You are doing a building project
[41:47] at Caswa and already they give you some bonuses.
[41:51] And he tells you that and then you tell him that no.
[41:54] And he says look, go and think about it because they're no.
[41:57] It's not just a no. Once you say no, I'll replace
[41:59] you. Think about it and come and give
[42:04] me a result tomorrow. Now be very honest with me.
[42:08] What will you do? I want to say 5050.
[42:12] Now you see, this thing is very practical, but I'm telling you,
[42:14] it's a very dangerous thing that can happen to anybody here.
[42:19] That's your boss. You live on that salary.
[42:24] That's what has changed your life.
[42:28] You are running projects and that's it.
[42:30] You can't think. Look, he has done this job for
[42:32] seven years. He's now used to a certain kind
[42:34] of life. Now he's about to lose his job.
[42:38] He's now 38. No banker will take you.
[42:41] No business will take you around that age.
[42:43] Please, I didn't follow. I'm beating you now.
[42:44] What will this guy do? Because the option is that he
[42:48] has to choose Jesus over comfort.
[42:54] What will you do now? Thank you very much.
[42:57] Let's go for him. I know some of you will say
[43:02] that. I said, oh, immediately I'll
[43:03] quit the job. It's not that easy.
[43:06] You don't understand. I'm saying it's not that easy.
[43:14] Do you know what saves you? Consecration.
[43:27] Are you learning something today?
[43:29] Now I'm going to teach you quickly on the levels of
[43:32] consecration, levels of consecration, levels of
[43:39] consecration. Thank you, Holy Spirit.
[43:45] Levels of consecration. Now the first level of
[43:52] consecration is general consecrations.
[43:59] But now about to explain it in details.
[44:02] General consecrations. Now what are general
[44:07] consecrations? Remember what I said right?
[44:10] There are consecrations outlined in Scripture.
[44:17] There are consecrations that every believer is committed to.
[44:23] They are what consecrations that what every believer is committed
[44:29] to it. If every believer is instructed
[44:35] to yield to that consecration according to scripture prayer
[44:39] without ceasing is for every believer.
[44:41] It's not for some believers. Are you following now under this
[44:54] consecration? There are 55 consecrations under
[45:02] the general consecrations that are outlined in Scripture.
[45:06] Now the first under general consecration is purity.
[45:16] First John chapter 2 to verse chapter 3.
[45:19] The verse 2 to 4 he says be not beloved.
[45:24] Now are we the sons of God? And he do it not appear what we
[45:27] should be, but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be
[45:31] like Him, for we shall see him as he is.
[45:34] Now look, the Bible says every man that has this hope in him,
[45:38] That's what, Oh, I can hear you. That's what purified himself.
[45:43] This one is not the purification that was done by the blood of
[45:46] Jesus. And that's what a confusion is.
[45:51] There is an aspect of certain sanctification that was done or
[45:55] is done by Christ a finished work and that there's an aspect
[45:58] of sanctification that is done by you.
[46:01] He says you must if you have the hope that Jesus is returning.
[46:05] He says you purify yourself even as his pure.
[46:10] There's no legalism. There's a consecration under the
[46:14] general consecrations that the believer has.
[46:16] Please are we following second Timothy chapter 2 verse 19 to 20
[46:23] Second Timothy to now look he says, nevertheless the
[46:26] foundation of God's standard show happened this year.
[46:30] The Lord knoweth them that are his and let everyone that name
[46:36] it the name of Christ. If the name of Christ is on God
[46:39] lip. He says let him depart from
[46:41] iniquity. Wow.
[46:47] He says depart from it now. He goes on to say in a great
[46:50] house there are not only vessels of gold.
[46:56] Give me deputy quickly, please, he says in a place you find many
[47:03] kinds of containers and tableware for many different
[47:06] uses. Some are beautifully inlaid with
[47:08] gold and silver, but some are made of wood and ethnicwear.
[47:12] Some of them are used for what banquets and what special
[47:16] occasions, and some for everyday use.
[47:21] Next, next verse. But you, Timothy, must not see
[47:27] your life and ministry this way. Your life and ministry must not
[47:31] be disgraced, for you are to be what?
[47:37] A pure what container of I? So the container is your body.
[47:47] He says. You must be a pure container of
[47:49] Christ and dedicated. That is consecration, divorcing
[47:53] or dedication to the law and dedicated to the honorable
[47:57] purposes of your master prepared for every good work that he
[48:02] gives you to do. Now give that to me in KJV
[48:05] quickly. He says if a man therefore what
[48:12] peg himself. So look, there's an aspect of
[48:16] cleaning that you do yourself. Clean up yourself, clean up
[48:23] yourself, clean up your MERS. So this one living in
[48:30] condemnation, clean up yourself. So he says that he shall be a
[48:37] vessel unto Anna, which means not every vessel is unto Anna.
[48:44] Are you learning then he says what sanctified and meet for the
[48:50] masters use and prepared unto every good work.
[48:58] According to the TPT, you become called Special agent.
[49:11] Are you learning all right now? Let's go to the second one and
[49:26] the general consecration. So the first general
[49:28] consecration is purity. The second general consecration
[49:32] is service. Thank you, Holy Spirit.
[49:44] The second general consecration is service.
[49:46] Service. Do you know that service is a
[49:50] consecration? I was teaching in the church
[49:53] last time and I was teaching them keys to greatness in the
[49:57] Kingdom. How God measures great people.
[50:01] Usually we on earth measure great people by their
[50:05] possessions. We measure great people by their
[50:10] houses. We measure great pastors by the
[50:15] size of your church, or the number of cars parked outside,
[50:22] or the number of protocols that protect him.
[50:26] But surprisingly, in the book of Matthew concerning John the
[50:31] Baptist, the Bible says he shall be great in the sight of God.
[50:35] When I saw that, I was stunned. John the Baptist was not great
[50:41] in the sight of man. His dress code was even off.
[50:48] The kind of food he was eating was off.
[50:50] His location for chess service was also off.
[50:56] Yet the Bible says he shall be great in the sight of God.
[50:59] So look, greatness in the sight of God and the sight of men are
[51:04] not the same. It is possible there is one
[51:08] member in this church who is greater than me.
[51:12] This matter is a serious matter, which is why every member or
[51:16] every member in the body must learn to be faithful where they
[51:18] wherever they are. Because when we get to heaven,
[51:22] there's a pastor in the village who didn't have the privileges
[51:25] we who are in the city heart, but he was faithful.
[51:28] That pastor will be awarded. And I let more than a pastor who
[51:32] had over 50,000 people decide. You follow what I'm teaching.
[51:36] You listen to me carefully in the Kingdom the Bible describes
[51:41] greatness in three ways, which means God sees great people by
[51:45] three ways. Number one is love.
[51:48] First Corinthians chapter 13 the verse 11.
[51:51] Let's do it quickly. Let's do it quickly.
[51:53] First Corinthians 1311, He says when I was a child, OK, come to
[51:57] the verse 13 because of time, he says now abided what faith, uh
[52:04] huh, hope and love. Now these are very powerful
[52:09] things. Charity is love.
[52:11] But he says the greatest of these is which means love is
[52:15] greater than faith, which is why the Bible says if I have faith
[52:20] and I can move mountains, but I have not love, it says I'm
[52:22] nothing. So you can raise their dead and
[52:25] it won't count anything heavy. That's what Bible is teaching
[52:28] us. So even in Galatians chapter 5,
[52:32] the Bible says faith must work via love because people can
[52:40] operate in faith abusively, people can operate in faith
[52:46] selfishly. So faith always waken by love.
[52:50] The expression of your faith must go through love because
[52:53] love is the greatest. So now if the Kingdom measures
[52:56] greatness by these three things, which means anybody who works in
[53:00] love is there is the greatest. Look, I came to discover that
[53:11] success in ministry is loving people.
[53:16] One of the ways of measuring success in people is loving
[53:19] people. One man went to heaven and then
[53:22] when he went there, Jesus told him that one of the questions we
[53:25] will ask you as part of your judgement is how well did you
[53:27] love? It's a serious matter.
[53:36] How well did you love? We're all growing in it, but
[53:44] some are swimming in it. Lord, help me to love.
[53:52] Help me to love. I'm not perfect, but when I say
[53:55] perfect, I'm talking of the perfection of God's love in me.
[53:59] Help me to love people. I'm giving you 20 seconds.
[54:08] Lift your voice and pray that Lord, help me to love even when
[54:14] it is difficult. Add that one.
[54:16] Lord, help me to love even when it's difficult.
[54:20] Help me to love. Help me to love.
[54:24] Help me to love. Help me to love.
[54:33] Help me to love, Help me to love Father, Help me to love.
[54:43] Increase my love. Increase my love, increase my
[54:49] love, increase my love, increase my love.
[54:59] In Jesus name, Amen. Now Apostle Paul prayed in
[55:03] Philippians chapter one verse 9. This is just by the way, I'm
[55:05] just giving you some extra freebies.
[55:09] OK, you love it. Philippians 19 he says.
[55:16] And this I pray was a prayer that your love may abound, which
[55:22] means love can grow. Every believer has love.
[55:28] Romans 55 the Bible says the love of God has been shed abroad
[55:31] in our hearts. So no believer lacks love.
[55:36] The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts.
[55:39] He says hope make it not ashamed, because the love of God
[55:41] is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given to
[55:45] us. So now the Holy Ghost in you is
[55:48] love in you. Are you following?
[55:51] But you see we can grow in it. So apostle prayed that.
[55:56] And this I pray back to Philippines one night, that your
[55:58] love may what? Abound, it may increase.
[56:02] So you can grow in love. It says that it may increase,
[56:08] yet what more And no, no, no, no more.
[56:12] And in what? So without knowledge you can't
[56:17] increase in love. So this prayer you just prayed,
[56:22] if you don't back it with knowledge, you know increase in
[56:27] knowledge. So that means you have to find
[56:29] out what the word of God. Why should you love people?
[56:32] OK, what is love? Love is patient, love is kind.
[56:35] So without knowing it, you can't increase any.
[56:39] So he says in knowledge and in all judgment and one judgment
[56:42] there is discernment, which means that it is not.
[56:46] You see, love can be sometimes. Technica, are you following me?
[56:59] For example, God loves all his creation.
[57:03] He created Lucifer, He loved Lucifer, but there was a time
[57:06] Lucifer rebelled and wanted to take his throne.
[57:10] God loves his creation, but in the discernment of love it can
[57:16] Love and rebellion don't meet, so he has to cast him out.
[57:21] Please are you follow what I'm teaching you.
[57:23] So is it some of you think that because we're talking a lot, so
[57:25] anything can just happen. So love is not only knowledge,
[57:32] but is he what discernment? Sometimes when you realize
[57:36] people are just taking advantage of you because you, you are
[57:39] always a good person, you have to learn to redraw.
[57:43] No, I don't get what I'm saying. So the Bible speaks of not only
[57:45] knowledge, but discernment. So love sometimes is bold enough
[57:54] to redraw in a laughing way, and you don't feel bad about it.
[58:02] The thing is, check your heart that that discernment.
[58:05] If it's because of resentment, it's not love.
[58:10] Please, am I teaching you well? Because some, in the name of
[58:12] love, are keeping people in their lives they're not supposed
[58:14] to be keeping. So as you grow in knowledge,
[58:28] you're growing in what? Discernment.
[58:29] So if you want your love to abound, you must have knowledge
[58:32] in what and, and, and discernment.
[58:45] Hallelujah, glory to Jesus. Now look, look at the vested.
[58:51] He says that you may approve things that are excellent.
[58:56] So after you design, now you approve only excellent things
[59:00] that he may be what? Sincere without offence to the
[59:04] day of Christ. Do you know there's some people
[59:14] who can be offended and then people come and say it's OK,
[59:17] it's fine, it's OK. It's a please, I forgive.
[59:20] Oh, it's fine, it's OK. But in their heart, that means
[59:26] you're not sincere. Please.
[59:31] Are you getting what I'm saying? So the discernment is very
[59:34] important. Don't be acting.
[59:36] Look, don't allow your emotions to be taking decisions.
[59:42] Allow discernment. Allow discernment, not emotion.
[59:47] I don't know why I'm even talking about this.
[59:50] Is it blessing somebody already? OK, that's fine, that's fine.
[59:54] So we said that in God's side he sees 3 great people.
[59:58] Number one is the one who loves. So if you're a pastor, when we
[1:00:02] get to heaven, it's not how many people you have in your church.
[1:00:06] How are you able to love Glory to Jesus?
[1:00:15] Hallelujah #2 The second great person in the Kingdom of Heaven
[1:00:22] is the humble man. The Bible says he who, he who
[1:00:27] humbles himself as one of these little children is the greatest
[1:00:32] in the Kingdom. So the second great man in the
[1:00:37] Kingdom of God is. In other words, humility is the
[1:00:43] second key to greatness in heaven.
