[0:00] The progress of salvation. So we said the first progress of
[0:07] salvation is what we call forgiveness of sins.
[0:12] Forgiveness is a very rich resource that we have in Christ
[0:17] Jesus. It's a very powerful thing to be
[0:22] forgiven of your sins, to be forgiven of your past, your
[0:26] present and your future sins. It's a very big deal.
[0:30] In the book of Ephesians, chapter one, verse 7, the Bible
[0:33] says in whom we have redemption through his blood, their
[0:36] forgiveness of sins. So forgiveness is actually
[0:40] redemption. To be redeemed means to be
[0:43] forgiven. And He did this work not
[0:48] according to the riches of our confession or our tears, but he
[0:51] did this according to the riches of his grace.
[0:55] So the first progress of salvation that the believer must
[0:58] understand is the concept of what we call forgiveness.
[1:03] Every believer is forgiven in Christ Jesus.
[1:07] We receive forgiveness. The second progress of salvation
[1:12] is what we call righteousness. And we have explained that
[1:17] righteousness is a gift from God.
[1:21] Righteousness is not something that we do to become.
[1:26] It is something that we do because we are When we believed
[1:31] Jesus Christ, we became the righteousness of God in Christ.
[1:37] In Second Corinthians chapter 5, the verse 21, the Bible says God
[1:40] made him. And you know sin to be made sin
[1:42] for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
[1:49] So in Christ Jesus, the believer is the righteousness of God.
[1:56] So in the Old Testament, you were righteous when you fully
[2:00] obeyed the law. And we said that the law was
[2:04] actually a revelation of the standard of God.
[2:08] So for man, for for man to find it a struggle to obey the
[2:16] standards of God was to tell us that man had a problem.
[2:19] And the problem was that he was incapable of attaining God's
[2:23] righteousness. So now God has to not give
[2:28] righteousness to man as a gift. So in believing in Jesus Christ,
[2:34] we attain righteousness. We receive righteousness as a
[2:39] gift. We are imparted with
[2:42] righteousness. We are imputed with
[2:45] righteousness in the gospel is the revelation of righteousness.
[2:50] In the book of Romans chapter one verse 17, the Bible says
[2:53] that for in it. In fact, the verse 16 says, for
[2:57] I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of
[3:00] God unto salvation. In other words, in the gospel we
[3:04] find salvation. So salvation can only happen in
[3:08] the gospel. Are you here with me?
[3:12] Then in the 17 he says for their in.
[3:16] So the gospel does not only offer salvation, The gospel
[3:19] offers righteousness. So their in in the gospel is the
[3:22] righteousness of God revealed. So God's righteousness is
[3:29] revealed in the gospel. In other words, nobody can
[3:32] believe the gospel without receiving righteousness.
[3:37] I will follow him. So righteousness, like we said
[3:39] is a gift of God. If you believe Jesus Christ, you
[3:43] are a righteous man. Our self righteousness are the
[3:48] things that we think we do. That is right.
[3:49] The Bible causes filthy right before God.
[3:52] So there is nobody who can buy his own right, live in a certain
[3:59] standard and call himself righteous based on that
[4:01] standard. So the believer, he's a
[4:07] righteous man. He's not righteous because he
[4:10] first did something right. He's first righteous because he
[4:13] believed in Jesus Christ. So now having understood
[4:20] forgiveness as something that we have, having understood
[4:23] righteousness as something that we have, we progress again to
[4:27] the third phase of salvation, which we call what
[4:32] sanctification. And it's very important to
[4:36] understand that sanctification is a third level or the third
[4:40] progress of salvation that every child of God must understand.
[4:44] So we said that sanctification is the ongoing process of being
[4:48] set apart for holiness. It is a work of God's grace
[4:53] where believers are progressively transformed into
[4:57] the image of Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
[5:03] We said that while justification is the act of God declaring you
[5:07] righteous in Christ's name, sanctification is the ongoing
[5:11] process of becoming more like Christ.
[5:15] So it takes sanctification to become like Christ.
[5:18] We also said that we are sanctified positionally, but we
[5:22] are to live sanctified lives. Now in the book of first
[5:26] Corinthians chapter one, verse 13, the Bible says, but it is of
[5:28] him that you are in Christ Jesus, who of God has been made
[5:32] unto us righteous. In fact it says wisdom and
[5:37] righteousness and sanctification and redemption.
[5:42] So Christ has been made wisdom unto us.
[5:44] He's the wisdom we live by, He's the righteousness we live by.
[5:50] He's the sanctification we lead by and He's the redemption we
[5:53] lead by. So sanctification is actually a
[5:56] positional reality and a practical reality.
[5:58] So we are teaching about the practical aspect of
[6:00] sanctification in the book of First Thessalonians chapter 4.
[6:05] Maybe let's read from the verse one, but the verse 3 is the main
[6:09] focus. He says, furthermore, we beseech
[6:14] you brethren, and exalt you by the Lord Jesus Christ that as ye
[6:17] have received of as how he ought to walk.
[6:20] So there is a template of how a believer must walk.
[6:24] You don't walk anyhow because you are free.
[6:28] You don't walk anyhow because you are righteous through faith
[6:30] in Christ Jesus. There is a template.
[6:32] So he says he's exhorted them that as they have received of
[6:37] him how they ought to walk and to do what please God.
[6:41] So pleasing God has a template. Are you here with me?
[6:49] Are you here with me pleasing God has a template so there's a
[6:52] way the believer ought to walk and to please God so you would
[6:57] abound more and more. The next verse.
[7:01] Now verse 2 says that for you know what commandments we give
[7:06] you by the Lord Jesus Christ. Now this is where we, we we
[7:11] contend for the kind of errors going on in the church today.
[7:15] Some you hear saying that because the 10 commandments has
[7:19] been ended, the believer has no laws.
[7:22] Please hear me carefully. There are still laws under the
[7:25] New Testament, but the obedience of those laws is not what makes
[7:29] you righteous. Those commandments or those laws
[7:33] are standards that God empowers you to live so that you can walk
[7:38] on the path of life and the path of righteousness.
[7:41] Are we following this? So he says for he know what
[7:44] commandments. So this is New Testament, not
[7:45] Old Testament. So there are still commands in
[7:48] the New Testament, there are still ordinances in the New
[7:53] Testament, there are still laws in the New Testament.
[7:56] Are we following this? So he says he ought to know what
[7:59] commandments we gave you by look, this is not for Moses.
[8:10] So there is a law of Moses, there is a law of Jesus Christ.
[8:13] Are we here? Are we here?
[8:16] Now look at it, he says, for this is the will of God.
[8:22] Now if you want to know the will of God, you can find the will of
[8:26] God in the Word of God, because the Word of God reveals the will
[8:33] of God, what he wants to be done.
[8:37] So he's telling us that this is the will of God, even your
[8:43] sanctification. So look, sanctification is the
[8:46] will of God for our lives. This is sanctification is God's
[8:51] expectation for the believer. Lord Jesus, what is your will
[8:56] for my life? The first answer he'll give you
[8:58] is sanctification. I want to know God's will for my
[9:03] life. Sanctification is first.
[9:06] Oh my God. I'm not talking about the
[9:08] general one. I'm talking about the specific
[9:09] world. Look, you can never know God's
[9:11] specific will for your life until you start obeying the
[9:14] general will. If you've been to the
[9:18] university, you'll notice that you you wanted to be a marketer
[9:22] or you wanted to be an accountant, but from level 100,
[9:25] level 200, probably first semester, you administrators,
[9:31] accountants, marketers, banking and finance all did the same
[9:35] course. It was as the advance in the
[9:39] general course that they all branched into the customized
[9:43] courses. Are you following what I'm
[9:44] teaching you? It is the same in the Spirit
[9:48] Lord, I want to know whether you have called me.
[9:50] Look, do what God has asked you to do in this world.
[9:54] In the midst of that you will find your customized purpose.
[9:59] So it is in the obedience of the general will of God that we
[10:03] discover the specific will of God for our lives.
[10:07] Is that simple? If if you like going fast and
[10:10] tell God to show you why He called you.
[10:12] If you have not obeyed this, it will not be clear.
[10:16] I will follow this at all. So he says this is the will of
[10:19] God for our lives, even as sanctification.
[10:22] So sanctification is the will of God that ye should.
[10:25] So he's explaining sanctification better.
[10:26] In case you don't understand, he says that ye should abstain from
[10:30] fornication. So when we speak of
[10:34] sanctification, 1 aspect of sanctification is abstinence.
[10:48] So he didn't finish his statement.
[10:49] Now look at the next verse. He says that every everyone of
[10:56] you should know. So see, it takes knowledge to
[10:59] live a righteous life. It's as simple as that.
[11:02] There is nobody who can live for Jesus without an awareness.
[11:06] He says you should know how to possess his vessel in
[11:12] sanctification. And what?
[11:14] Anna, give that to me in TPT to make it clear.
[11:17] DPT. DPT.
[11:20] He says. Yes, each of you must.
[11:23] What? Oh, this class.
[11:25] I don't know. What is wrong with you this
[11:26] morning. Do you want breakfast?
[11:33] OK, I'm sorry to ask that question.
[11:35] Let's go on with the service. Yes, each one of you must.
[11:40] What? Guard your sexual purity.
[11:44] With what holiness and dignity? So as a man have dignity on your
[11:50] sexuality. As a woman have dignity for your
[11:53] body, he says Yes, each one of you must grab your sexual
[12:01] purity. With all holiness and dignity.
[12:04] Give that to me in NLT quickly please.
[12:06] I have so many scriptures for today.
[12:08] NLT, he says. Then each of you will control
[12:12] His own word, body and living holiness and amplified.
[12:21] Then each of you should know how to control his own body in
[12:27] holiness and honor, being available for God's purpose and
[12:32] separated from what things profane.
[12:39] That's why I tell you, look, nothing defines you like this.
[12:42] Sex videos, sex tapes, and all these kind of sexual messages
[12:46] sending nudes to these things define your soul.
[12:51] I'm telling you they define your soul.
[12:55] Anyone who is involved in this can never live a sanctified
[12:58] life. You know why?
[12:58] Because your soul be choked, you will find it hard to pray
[13:02] effectively. You will find it hard to read
[13:04] your Bible effectively. And it's the plan of the devil
[13:07] that you don't obey this. Now come back to TPT and go to
[13:12] the verse 5. Let's do it quickly.
[13:14] Let's do it quickly. TPT the verse 5 he says not
[13:21] yielding. Oh my goodness, not yielding to
[13:24] what you are getting there, not healing to what last four
[13:28] passes. Like those who don't know God,
[13:33] which means those who know God have a certain control.
[13:39] Like I'm telling you, the things we think is the work of the
[13:41] devil. It's not the work of the devil.
[13:42] It's it's our work. We youth, we youth not yielding
[13:51] to last four passions. In other words, there are
[13:55] passions in our members that calls out for things that is not
[13:58] on God, that is not godly. So he's saying that we should
[14:04] not yield to last four passions like those who don't know God,
[14:08] which means that there is a certain kind of behavior from
[14:14] those who don't know God, and it's possible that a Christian
[14:18] can behave the same way. Look at the verse 5, the verse 6
[14:28] he says never take selfish advantage of a brother or sister
[14:34] in this matter for we have already told you, look, this
[14:38] verse is scary and solemnly warned you that the Lord is the
[14:44] avenger in all these things. In other words, God will pay
[14:50] you, he will he will repay you for taking advantage of a
[14:53] Christian sister or Christian a Christian brother.
[14:59] So those guys who just dead people break their hands lead
[15:02] them. These guys break their heart,
[15:04] lead them. The bamboo says God will avenge
[15:05] them so that there are Avengers in God divine.
[15:20] The Lord is the avenger in all these things, So he says never
[15:24] take selfish advantage. So the Bible has told us that
[15:30] there are some brands or sisters who take advantage of people in
[15:35] their vulnerable days when they know that this particular girl,
[15:39] this particular girl is weak. They just do that on purpose.
[15:43] You are a wicked man and the Bible says God will avenge.
[15:51] See, the word of God is the only thing that can help us to live
[15:56] in the path that will make us true, genuine Christians.
[16:05] If the Holy Spirit lives in you, there are some things you will
[16:08] never ever think about or entertain ahead of 1 macho guy
[16:17] in one church like that. That's his business.
[16:21] His business is sleeping with church women.
[16:28] He has slept with more than 15 girls in one church and all the
[16:35] girls don't know until one day. So this brethren will enter.
[16:41] We are worshiping is worshiping with us, giving offering is
[16:44] giving offering with us. But He came with another
[16:46] purpose. Do you know what a guy's done?
[16:49] He has yielded the members of his body as instruments of
[16:55] unrighteousness. In other words, if you yield the
[16:57] members of your body, either God can use you or Satan can use
[17:02] you. There are people in the midst
[17:04] who are agents of the devil without knowing they are blind
[17:07] agents to them. They have passions to do that to
[17:11] them. They are finding pleasure in
[17:12] doing what they are doing, but in the Spirit, their agents
[17:15] registered agents. I'm teaching good here.
[17:26] The Bible says God will avenge you.
[17:31] Now I read a verse in the book of first John chapter 3 from the
[17:37] verse 4. Give that to me in TPT or maybe
[17:47] let's read the first four to 10. Then we come back.
[17:50] Let's do that. Let's do KJV for the from the
[17:53] best 4 to 10. Then we do TPT.
[17:55] Right. All right, now he says that OK,
[18:01] come to the first 3 so that it'll look.
[18:05] Oh OK, the best 2, the best 2, the best 2.
[18:09] Now he says, beloved, now are we the sons of God And it's toward
[18:16] not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he shall
[18:21] appear, we shall be like him. So now the same Bible says in
[18:26] the book of Romans chapter 8, the verse 29, that those he for
[18:30] knew He predestinated them to be confirmed to the image of a son,
[18:33] that He might be the first born amongst many brethren.
[18:35] So now Romans 8, the verse 29 is telling us that we already like
[18:39] Jesus, we are brothers of Christ.
[18:42] We have his DNA, we have his we, we, we are we have the nature of
[18:45] Jesus Christ. He he predestinated them to be
[18:48] confirmed to the image. So we, we, we are confirmed to
[18:51] the image of Jesus Christ in that he's the first born and we
[18:53] followed. So we are like Christ.
[18:55] But now first John is it the the word of God is a double S sword.
[19:00] Both sides speak, both sides are sharp.
[19:05] So the same word who said this, it also has a balance.
[19:09] So he says that now are we the sons of God Now we are the sons
[19:14] of God now he says, and it do not yet appear, we shall be, but
[19:17] we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like Him,
[19:20] for we shall see him as his. So don't like we already like
[19:25] Christ. We are still not like him yet
[19:29] are we here? Now look at the next verse, the
[19:32] verse 3. Now he says and every man that
[19:35] has this hope in him, that's what purified himself even as
[19:45] his pure, oh I thought we have been sanctified.
[19:51] I thought we have been purified by the blood of Jesus Christ.
[19:54] Now the bangle is telling us that anyone that has the hope of
[19:57] the return of Jesus Christ must purify himself.
[20:02] Self purification. So there is something as self
[20:04] purification. This time you are the 1:00
[20:09] cleaning up your house, just like you do cleaning in your
[20:15] bedroom, your hall. He's saying that the believer
[20:18] must also purify himself because this body is a house.
[20:21] You must clean up, take away debt from this body, clean up.
[20:28] He's saying that he must purify himself even as he's pure.
[20:35] He goes on to say in the verse 4, whosoever committed sin
[20:41] transgressed also the law, for sin is the transgression of the
[20:46] law. Now look at the next verse, the
[20:49] verse 5, and you know that He was manifested to take away our
[20:55] sins, and in Him is no sin. So the Bible is telling us that.
[20:59] Do you think that it is fun to sin knowing that Jesus Christ
[21:03] manifested, took away sins, he, he suffered, he was beaten, he
[21:06] was rejected by God because of sin.
[21:09] Do you think sin is something we joke with?
[21:10] That's what he's saying. Sin is not something we play
[21:18] with. I'm telling you because somebody
[21:21] had to die because of that thing.
[21:25] Oh, I'll be forgiven. You don't understand the deep
[21:28] things of God. I'm going to explain something
[21:30] to you here. Look at the verse 6.
[21:33] He says whosoever abided in him what sinneth not.
[21:38] We're going to read TPT very soon.
[21:40] Whosoever sinneth has not what seen him, neither what nor him.
[21:49] Hey, no matter how good you are in explaining the Bible, this
[21:56] verse is saying that whosoever seen it has not seen him.
[22:01] It does not know him because those who have seen him and
[22:05] those who have known him, there's a way to behave.
[22:08] Look at the next verse. He says that little children,
[22:12] let no man deceive you because you can be deceived in this
[22:15] social media age. He says he don't do what
[22:20] righteousness is what righteous even as he's righteous.
[22:28] Oh, we got to know that we are the righteousness of God in
[22:32] Christ, not by our works, right, but by what faith.
[22:36] Now he added the other side of it, that anyone who is truly
[22:40] righteous will behave righteous. So if you are righteous by faith
[22:45] and you don't behave that behavior, he say you're not
[22:47] righteous. So he's saying that let no man
[22:51] deceive you. He don't do it.
[22:53] Righteousness is what righteous even as he's righteous.
[22:57] So look, righteousness is a being and also a doing.
[23:06] Please don't get what I'm teaching.
[23:11] John wrote his epistle to deal with an error in the church in
[23:18] then times called Gnosticism. There were group of people who
[23:23] were called Gnostics and these Gnostics did not believe in the
[23:29] physical incarnation of Christ. They didn't believe it.
[23:39] That was why in John first John 41, John was saying that he who
[23:44] does not believe that Jesus manifested in the flesh is an
[23:50] Antichrist. That's why I was teaching that
[23:53] because they did not believe in the physicality of Jesus.
[23:57] So they believed that whatever they didn't believe that God can
[24:02] become a man physically. So they believed that whatever
[24:06] you did with whatever you do with your body does not matter
[24:10] as long as your spirit is still righteous or clean.
[24:13] That's what Gnostics believe. We are righteous by faith.
[24:18] So that means that if I fornicate to this body, if I lie
[24:21] with this body, it doesn't matter because this body is just
[24:23] matter. It's just normal matter.
[24:27] So he was addressing that issue because a lot of church members
[24:31] then were falling for that deception, which is why as a
[24:36] pastor, it's my duty to deliver you from roofs who are in
[24:41] sheep's clothing. There are a lot of teachers out
[24:44] there with two minutes clips, 3 minutes videos.
[24:48] You can listen and you get out of church.
[24:52] You can listen. You will never give again.
[24:54] You can listen. You'll never believe in pastors
[24:56] again. There are so many of them out
[24:58] there. So he's saying that he who he
[25:02] don't do it, righteousness is righteous even as he's
[25:04] righteous. Look, I had some members some
[25:09] years ago, they listen to one man of God from Nigeria and
[25:14] anytime they come to church and I'm teaching, I guess laughing
[25:17] at me. Pastor, you have to grow up.
[25:23] He has not gotten to that level. When he grows to understand, you
[25:26] understand when we are doing spiritual warfare, we are
[25:28] praying then they have pocketed Father, we thank you and we
[25:32] bless your name and we give you praise for all that you've done
[25:34] for us in Christ Jesus. We are the righteousness of God
[25:37] and Father, we bless your name and we give.
[25:40] That's that's how do we pray And me, I've seen that I've seen
[25:44] this kind of things before several times.
[25:47] When you begin growing, you understand different aspects of
[25:50] the Christian faith. There is a place for spiritual
[25:54] warfare. We don't pocket.
[25:55] There's a place where you thank God.
[25:57] In fact, pocketing the presence of God is even rude.
[26:00] You can't pocket in the presence of a of a president.
[26:04] How do you pocket in the presence of God so you can trace
[26:06] these errors? The more you know God, the more
[26:09] you fear God, The more you know what, the more reference you are
[26:13] in his presence. When you find somebody
[26:15] misbehaving that way, you know that that person's future in God
[26:19] is shaky. And a teaching in the New
[26:26] Testament. No need to pay any tithe.
[26:28] No, Christ is your tithe. You think I don't know what
[26:32] these teachings? You think I don't know them?
[26:35] I know See every error in teaching every error.
[26:39] I know it. I know all of them.
[26:44] They see I run ministry deliberately.
[26:50] You think I don't know all the scriptures about why the
[26:53] believers should not give tithes to God?
[26:54] You think I know all of them, but I had to come to a certain
[26:58] conclusion to help the brethren because some of them who enter
[27:03] ERA come to a place where they say hey, hey, there is no need
[27:06] for any 10%. And these people never became
[27:09] givers. They never became givers.
[27:14] They never became givers. I am telling you, no matter what
[27:18] it is, see if if something does not come from youth to God as a
[27:23] discipline, it will affect your faith.
[27:25] With that I'm telling God has dealt with my heart in so many
[27:30] ways. So whatever I'm doing, I do it
[27:32] by purpose and revelation. So such brethren were in the
[27:42] church age by then. Now look at what the Bible is
[27:45] saying. He says he don't do what
[27:46] righteousness is righteous even as he's righteous.
[27:48] Now look at the next verse. He's saying that he that commits
[27:51] sin is of the devil, eh? For the devil Sinner from the
[28:01] beginning, for this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that
[28:04] he might destroy the worst of the devil.
[28:07] Now look at the next verse. Whosoever is born of God, do it
[28:10] not commit sin, for his seed remaineth in him, and he cannot
[28:14] sin because he's born of God. Now tippity is going to break it
[28:17] down for us to understand. Now look at the vested.
[28:19] In this the children of God are manifested, and the children of
[28:22] the devil. Whosoever do it not
[28:25] righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his
[28:29] brother. So in this auditorium there are
[28:32] children of God and children the devil, and God has given us the
[28:36] criteria. Now come back again to the best
[28:38] for intimity. And let's break it down from
[28:41] here. After this teaching, you know,
[28:43] whether you're a child of God or a child or the devil, anyone who
[28:52] indulges in sin lives in moral anarchy.
[28:58] For the definition of sin is breaking God's law.
[29:02] Next verse and you know without a doubt that Jesus was revealed
[29:08] to eradicate sins and there is no sin in him.
[29:13] And So what he's saying anyone that's seen it or anyone that's
[29:17] seen it not he's explaining it now.
[29:19] He says anyone who would continue us to live in union
[29:26] with him will not sin. Anyone who continues to live in
[29:37] union, continues to live in union with him, will find it
[29:42] hard to say. It will be hard.
[29:47] Look at the next race. Look, look.
[29:52] But the one who does what are you seeing?
[29:56] The oh, this class is weak. The one who continues singing
[30:01] hasn't what seen him with discernment or known him by
[30:08] intimate experience. So you just go on singing.
[30:18] We understand. We understand that you have not
[30:21] seen him by discernment. We also understand that you have
[30:25] not known him by intimate experience.
[30:31] Anybody that knows God by intimate experience, that person
[30:35] is fragile. He he has a soft spot for God.
[30:49] The verse 7 delightfully loved children.
[30:53] That's beloved children, don't let anyone divert you from this
[30:58] truth. The person who keeps doing what
[31:02] is right, that's what proves that he is righteous before God,
[31:07] even as the Messiah is righteous.
[31:10] So living a righteous life is a demonstration that you are truly
[31:15] righteous by fate. I know you may not like my
[31:20] teaching, but not the only message God had given to me.
[31:26] You love it about 8:00 But the one who indulges in a sinful
[31:35] life is of what? The devil, because the devil has
[31:43] been sinning from the beginning. So look, he's telling that Satan
[31:46] has been sinning from the beginning to now.
[31:48] If you begin to indulge in sinful practices, you follow his
[31:52] path, so you have him. When I read these things, they
[32:05] make me tremble. There are people who are born of
[32:11] God, but they are the devil who are in church,
[32:26] he says. The reason the Son of God was
[32:30] revealed was to undo and destroy the works of the devil.
[32:34] How come you are doing that work?
[32:39] Next verse Look, everyone who is truly a child, God's child will
[32:45] do it. Refuse.
[32:47] I'm not saying that you don't make mistakes.
[32:49] You don't seem sometimes in a way they didn't plan.
[32:52] Maybe you told a lie and then no, the Bible says everyone who
[32:56] truly goes child will refuse to what?
[32:58] Keep what sinning? People keep sinning because what
[33:06] God's seed like Father, like Son, remains within him, and
[33:15] he's unable to continue sinning because he has been what
[33:19] fathered by God Himself, who is your spiritual father?
[33:27] Is Satan fathering you or God is fathering you who know it by how
[33:32] you behave when no one is watching?
[33:40] Am I teaching good now? Can I ask you a question?
[33:44] Oh, can I ask you a question? If you got to know that there is
[33:52] CCTV camera in your bedroom, how will you behave once there is
[34:07] CCTV camera? It means that there is there is
[34:12] ATV screen somewhere, somebody's watching, someone's watching.
[34:18] So no matter who you are, except you're from mad, no matter who
[34:27] you are, you will not misbehave. The same person that will be
[34:32] watching all kinds of things will be praying and watching the
[34:35] camera. The next Tuesday the person is
[34:46] like this, the entrance of thy word given light Jesus it give
[34:59] it understanding to the simple Lord someone 190 verse wanted
[35:07] three order my steps in your word and let not iniquity have
[35:11] to mean over me Lord Jesus order my steps order my steps order my
[35:15] steps. Lord, do you know that's a
[35:28] spiritual CCD camera in your bedroom, in your hall?
[35:36] That camera is the eyes of God. It's not 4K, it's 10K, very
[35:45] sharp. Think about it, think about it.
[35:59] It will influence a lot. And look, that same camera
[36:03] system that transmits from heaven, there's another one also
[36:05] that transmits from hell. There's one that transmits from
[36:13] hell. That's the challenge.
[36:19] God will watch you in disappointment.
[36:21] Satan will watch you because you have opened the door for him.
[36:28] Please, are we teaching good here all right, are we done
[36:33] reading it? He says the 1st 10 here is how
[36:39] God's children can be clearly distinguished from the children
[36:43] of what the evil one. Anyone who does not what let's
[36:47] be together 1 to go Anyone who ensure love is not living with
[36:58] God as a source I So if you're a believer who does not love
[37:04] another believer, the Bible says God is not your source because
[37:12] your source will not teach you that course.
[37:20] Are you learning something here? Now let's proceed.
[37:39] There are. In the Old Testament there were
[37:42] three agents of sanctification. In the Old Testament, there were
[37:49] three agents of sanctification. There were three ways that men
[37:57] were sanctified and clenched #1 Sanctification in the Old
[38:03] Testament was by blood. When I speak of blood, I'm
[38:07] Speaking of blood of animals, bulls and goats and birds #2
[38:14] sanctification was by water and #3 sanctification was by fire.
[38:29] So in Old Testament, things were sanctified or purified by blood,
[38:36] by water, and by fire. So things were purified by the
[38:51] blood of booze and goats. Number two things were
[38:57] sanctified and purified by water.
[39:04] Remember the priests who were in service before they enter into
[39:09] the Tabernacle proper, There was a brazing lover where they had
[39:14] to wash their hands stained with animal sacrifices and wash their
[39:20] feet before they entered. In fact, God give them
[39:24] instructions that if you don't wash your hands and your feet
[39:28] from the field that comes from the sacrifices and you enter
[39:32] into the Tabernacle proper, you die.
[39:40] Hallelujah. Then things were sanctified and
[39:44] purified by fire. You know, one of the reasons why
[39:48] the pillar of cloud, by being a pillar of fire, was established.
[39:52] It was to cleanse Israel. While the offerings were given
[39:58] by fire. It was for the purpose of
[40:05] certification. Now likewise, in the New
[40:09] Testament there are three agents of certification.
[40:12] Are we learning? Are we learning?
[40:14] There are three agents of sanctification in the New
[40:16] Testament. In other words, sanctification
[40:18] or cleansing cannot happen without these three agents.
[40:24] So remind me to close at 95 so we can pray for 15 minutes.
[40:31] So if there's something you can show to me at 95, let me see it
[40:35] so that we can stop exactly at 95 and then pray for 15 minutes.
[40:38] Hallelujah. Come on.
[40:40] Hallelujah. Good.
[40:43] So number one, in the New Testament we are sanctified by
[40:46] the blood of Jesus. Let me give you a quick
[40:50] Scriptures. Hebrews Chapter 9, verse 12 to
[40:54] 15. Hebrews 912 to 15.
[40:57] Please make sure you're learning something.
[40:59] We are sanctified by three agents.
[41:00] Number one by the blood of Jesus Christ.
[41:02] He says neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own
[41:08] blood. He entered once into the holy
[41:11] place the same system in the Old Testament, having obtained what
[41:16] eternal, what redemption for us. Look at the verse 13 for if the
[41:21] blood of bulls and of goats and of ashes of an of an Haifa
[41:27] sprinkling the unclean did what did what?
[41:30] Oh, you know, I did what sanctified to the purifying of
[41:34] the flesh. So what it did to the Old
[41:38] Testament folks was to sanctify the flesh.
[41:43] So remember I said blood was a sanctifying agent in the Old
[41:46] Testament. That's that's the proof here.
[41:49] Uh huh. The verse 14 he says how much
[41:53] more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit
[42:00] offend himself without spot to God, beg your conscience from
[42:06] dead works to serve the living God.
[42:11] So now note this term here. One of the reasons why we are
[42:15] sanctified is to enable or aid in our service.
[42:21] Come on, what is Nobody can serve God faithfully without
[42:28] certification. Their conscience are badged from
[42:32] dead works so they can be able to serve the living God.
[42:35] That's what I'm telling you. You cannot serve effectively
[42:39] without a touch of the blood of Jesus, without a touch of
[42:43] certification, of verification. It's not possible.
[42:52] I've told you guys several times, if you are a church
[42:55] worker, your service matters and how you save matters.
[43:04] You can't be living in sin and be holding a microphone to lead
[43:07] worship or come and lead prayer. You are destroying our service.
[43:22] One of the reasons why the Spirit of God is unable to move,
[43:30] as he moved many centuries ago, is because Satan has targeted
[43:35] individual people within the local body.
[43:38] Then he perfects them. So by the time they are ready to
[43:42] minister, they are polluted. They are polluted.
[43:52] Those who are doing service in the Old Testament had
[43:54] consecrations. The priests had consecrations.
[43:57] The kings had consecrations, the prophets had consecrations.
[44:06] So many of us think that we can lower the standards of God
[44:08] because we are under grace. We don't understand this thing
[44:11] If anybody who lives truly under grace that see Apostle Paul said
[44:17] I tell God I live bed more abundantly than all the
[44:21] apostles, yet not I but the grace of God.
[44:23] Who told you graces for laziness who told you that anybody who
[44:28] has truly understood grace will never anybody who has truly
[44:33] understood grace will live holy. I'm telling you, why do you
[44:39] think I've given my all my life, my everything to Jesus?
[44:42] You don't understand. You think because I, I, I've
[44:45] decided that I'm going to sacrifice everything for the
[44:48] Lord. You think I just decided no,
[44:50] there is something that I have with him that has changed me.
[44:54] There is something that has hooked me that the world and
[44:59] what goodness cannot hook me again.
[45:00] It can't hook me. It can't again.
[45:12] So look, anybody that wants to serve in the purposes of God,
[45:18] labor for Jesus must be by himself.
[45:25] I was told of a worship guy. There are churches of Ablakuma.
[45:28] When they are done with Sunday service, his preparation for the
[45:32] next Sunday service starts on Monday.
[45:35] He didn't get me. He's a worship leader.
[45:38] His preparation for the next Sunday service starts on Monday
[45:43] with six to six fasting. They will be praying, Lord, in
[45:48] the next Sunday service. Let my songs bring the broken
[45:52] back to you. Let my songs heal the depressed.
[45:56] Let my songs, let the worship you're going to lead, bless the
[45:59] lights of God on Monday that he starts praying and fasting.
[46:05] I'm told when he takes the microphone and he's leading the
[46:13] glory, miracles, the naughty, expressing the meeting.
[46:19] How many backers will do it? How many worship leaders will do
[46:22] that? How many people who are leading
[46:25] prayers? The Lord I'm preparing for the
[46:28] prayers I'm about to lead. You know, some people didn't
[46:31] understand why we are doing 12 hours before we do 12 hours
[46:34] prayer here. I pray about the 12 hours before
[46:37] we start it. There was a time we're about to
[46:41] do a fasting. I did fasting to start the
[46:45] fasting and the first thing I was doing is that the Lord will
[46:49] stir up the hearts of everyone to partake in the fasting.
[46:54] Look, these things are very real.
[46:57] If we don't understand that there is a requirement for
[47:01] service, everything we do in the service is it will produce debt.
[47:07] It will produce debt in the hearts of the people we're
[47:10] ministering to. There is a consecration and we
[47:12] must understand the consecration.
[47:14] You don't watch certain things on Saturday nights before Sunday
[47:17] service. That's why you don't understand
[47:18] the word of God. That's why you can't concentrate
[47:22] because the last thing you viewed on Saturday morning was
[47:26] polluted. A worship leader or a church
[47:36] worker Saturday night watch his season movie.
[47:48] You don't wake up and don't to pray into the service.
[47:54] Look, the church is plain. We are joking.
[47:59] We are joking in the name of grace.
[48:02] We are joking because we don't understand the work that we are
[48:05] doing. Intercessors are lazy, singers
[48:10] are lazy, ushers are lazy. Without knowing that what we are
[48:17] doing is a ministry. You don't have to hold the
[48:20] microphone to preach to make impact.
[48:23] You can be a secret intercessor. 5:00 AM you have left Hope
[48:27] you're in church really known this author, the Lord.
[48:29] Let this service, let Reverend Isaac Lavable bridge and bless
[48:34] us. Let the ministers of songs bless
[48:37] us. Let the quarters bless us.
[48:39] Let the oceans bless us. Let there not be any technical
[48:43] problems in this meeting. You single handedly you can take
[48:46] that as a ministry. The Bible says, though, that
[48:56] those that bird, the vessels of God, must be sanctified.
[49:02] This message is not condemning you.
[49:04] This is not condemnation. Why do I?
[49:05] Why would I condemn you? It's supposed to bring
[49:08] conviction to the church because God has a standard and
[49:11] consecration is part of God's requirement for those who are
[49:14] going to bear his vessels and those who are going to represent
[49:17] him in government, those who represent him in the hospitals,
[49:20] those who represent him in the courts.
[49:27] Come with me too. Then we finish reading Hebrew
[49:34] Chapter 9 delivery the verse 15. Let's do it quickly because of
[49:39] time, he says, and for this, 'cause he's the mediator of the
[49:43] New Testament, that by means of death for the redemption of the
[49:47] transgressions that were under the first Testament that day,
[49:50] which God may receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
[49:53] Let's look at the next verse, Revelation chapter one, verse 5.
[49:57] We are sanctified by the blood of Jesus.
[49:58] That's the first point we're looking at.
[50:01] The Bible says, and from Jesus Christ, who is faithful witness,
[50:04] and the first begotten of the dead, and the praise of the keys
[50:07] of the earth unto him, that what can we say together unto him,
[50:11] that unto him that some of you are not saying it unto him that
[50:16] loved us and washed us from our seas in his own blood.
[50:25] So the blood of Jesus, the first agent of certification in the
[50:28] New Testament, Hebrews chapter 10, verse one to five.
[50:33] I can give you a lot for the law having a shadow of good things
[50:38] to come and not the very image of the things can never with
[50:42] those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually
[50:47] make the cameras thereunto perfect next verse for them who
[50:52] did not have ceased to be offered because that the
[50:54] worshippers once purged should no more have conscience of sins.
[51:01] He's trying to argue that why is it that the animal sacrifice was
[51:03] happening every day? It's simply because the blood of
[51:06] goose and goose cannot purge because if they could, they
[51:10] wouldn't have been offered every single time, he says for them,
[51:13] would they not have ceased to be offered because that the
[51:17] worshippers what once purged should no more have what
[51:22] conscience of sins? Uh huh, That was very quickly
[51:28] for the law having a shadow of the good things to come and not
[51:31] the very image of the things can never with those sacrifices
[51:34] which they often the Old Testament year by year
[51:36] continually make the comments there on there on to perfect.
[51:41] But in those sacrifices what's going on here for it is not
[51:49] possible for the blood of what bulls and goats should take away
[51:55] sins. Next verse for one for when he
[52:00] cometh into the world. He said sacrifice and offerings
[52:04] thou with us not, but the body has not prepared for me the best
[52:06] 6 quickly invent offerings and sacrifices for sin.
[52:09] Thou has not pleasure. Dennis said I Lord, that's
[52:14] Jesus, I come in the volume of the book.
[52:15] It is written of me to do thy will, O God, the best aid
[52:18] quickly above when he said sacrifice and offering and
[52:22] offerings, and then offerings and offering for sin, Thou with
[52:24] us not, neither had pleasure therein, which are offered by
[52:28] the law. Then then he said, I know I come
[52:33] to do that. Will He take it away the 1st,
[52:35] that he may establish the second.
[52:37] That's the New Testament, the next verse by the which will we
[52:41] are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus
[52:45] Christ once for all. That's what happened in the
[52:49] blood of Jesus. By the which will we are
[52:54] sanctified through the offering of the body of the Lord Jesus
[52:56] Christ. Hallelujah.
[52:59] Hebrews of the 12 the verse 22. He sees but he had come to Mount
[53:06] Zion, to the city of the living God, to a heavenly Jerusalem,
[53:09] and to an innumerable company of angels, to the General Assembly
[53:16] and Church of the first born which are registered in heaven,
[53:19] and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made
[53:24] perfect. Next verse And to Jesus, the
[53:27] mediator of the new covenant and the blood of sprinkling that
[53:32] speaketh better things than the blood of So now here's the deal.
[53:38] We we are sanctified by the blood of Jesus and we are still
[53:42] being sanctified by the blood of Jesus every single day in our
[53:45] walk. Anytime we appear in the
[53:47] presence of God, we have a shower.
[53:50] We have a shower, it cleanses us constantly.
[53:55] Hallelujah. Oh, come on, Hallelujah #2 The
[54:00] second agent of sanctification is the Word of God.
[54:05] The word of God. Now, do you remember I told you
[54:10] that when you enter into the Tabernacle, I think one word out
[54:14] at the Hacienda. I gave the media team some
[54:17] pictures about the Tabernacle. Do we still have it there?
[54:21] We're supposed to have files of all these things.
[54:23] I don't know why you guys have deleted it because you know I
[54:26] teach about these things every single time.
[54:27] You should be having them. You should be having pictures of
[54:34] things I'm teaching. When I teach something that
[54:35] requires picture, you put it there.
[54:37] You're not being effective. By this time, the points I've
[54:39] mentioned, somebody should be making notes.
[54:41] I said there are three inches of certification.
[54:43] We said we are sanctified by blood, sanctified by by by
[54:46] water, sanctified by by fire. You have not even put it there.
[54:52] You only put your thin scriptures, somebody comes in
[54:58] there. The person should be able to see
[55:00] the things that we're doing. No, OK, let's continue.
[55:07] You should have a meeting and deal with these things.
[55:09] You should be updating. You should be growing in the
[55:11] work that you're doing every time.
[55:12] You shouldn't bring things that have not even said so that we'll
[55:15] clap for you. Let's continue.
[55:19] So the second agent of sanctification is what the word
[55:23] of God. Now in the Tabernacle of Moses,
[55:27] before any priest entered into the real property, when I got to
[55:31] do any offering or sacrifice, there was there was an artifact,
[55:35] a furniture that was called the brazing lava or bronze lava.
[55:45] The only way I can be able to describe it is through a
[55:47] picture, and we don't have the picture, so it's going to make
[55:49] it difficult for me to explain this.
[55:50] So there was water in that bronze lava.
[55:54] How did they do the brazing lava?
[55:56] The brazing lava actually came from the, you know, do you
[56:01] remember that when Israel came out of Egypt, Egyptians gave
[56:05] them a lot of gold and silver, you remember, and bronze.
[56:08] So the bronze was actually what the women, This one is brazing
[56:14] altar, not brazing lava. Brazing altar for sacrifice, not
[56:20] brazing lava. So this is what I already made
[56:26] this morning. What was I did you pray before
[56:34] coming for service. This is a brazen lover it so the
[56:40] women used the bronze that they brought from Egypt as their
[56:43] mirrors right. They used as their what So
[56:47] during the contribution that Moses did Moses did found
[56:50] raising. That's why in church we can also
[56:52] do fundraising. Are you guys what I'm saying?
[56:54] So most is different raising for the construction of the
[56:56] Tabernacle and the women give their bronze for the
[57:01] construction of this thing. You do see eyes shining.
[57:03] That was what they use for their mirror and surprisingly that was
[57:08] the exact thing that was used for the bracing lava.
[57:11] So the breeze come with a what? With water in it.
[57:14] Then they fetch the water to wash their hands and wash their
[57:18] feet before they can be able to enter into the real Tabernacle
[57:23] proper to offer sacrifices. Now interestingly, the Bible
[57:27] tells us that the word of God is actually the Brazil lover.
[57:36] Hold this thought. OK, hold this picture.
[57:39] Ephesians chapter 5 verse 26, I feel 526.
[57:46] Look he says, oh, I love it that he might want sanctify and
[57:53] cleanse it. Talking about the church in
[57:57] context with the what washing off water by the interesting the
[58:04] word water day is lover in the Greek look, the Bible is too
[58:11] sweet. The Bible is too sweet.
[58:13] Oh, it's too sweet, too consistent.
[58:17] Come back to the picture. He says that he might sanctify
[58:20] and cleanse it by the washing of water, by the word.
[58:24] Now remember we said the bronze came from the What did the women
[58:28] use the bronze for? Mirror, right?
[58:32] And that's what they collected to do the brazing lava, so when
[58:35] the breeze were washing their hands and washing their feet,
[58:38] they could see themselves. Come with me to 2nd Corinthians
[58:45] chapter 3, the verse 18. Give this to me in NRT NIVNIV.
[59:06] Good, he says. And we all with unveiled faces
[59:10] contemplate the lost glory are being transformed into the world
[59:15] same image with ever increasing glory which comes from the Lord
[59:21] who is the spirit. Now give that to me back in KJV
[59:24] quickly he says, but we all with an open face as we behold as in
[59:29] a glass, the word glass, there is actually mirror, mirror.
[59:39] Are you here James Chapter 1 the verse 22 James 122 Look James
[59:50] 1/22 he says but be doers of the word and not what hearers only
[59:55] deceiving your own selves. Next verse he says if anyone be
[59:59] a hearer of the word and not a doer.
[1:00:02] He is like unto a man beholding his natural face inner.
[1:00:07] What's another word for the glass mirror?
[1:00:14] Look the next verse, for he beholded himself and go at his
[1:00:19] way, and straightway forget that what manner of man he was.
[1:00:24] Back to the picture, so we've got to understand that the
[1:00:28] brazing lava was made by the bronze of the women who used it
[1:00:31] as their mirror, and it was water they put in for cleansing,
[1:00:34] right? And we've got to understand that
[1:00:37] the water is the Word, and the mirror also is the Word.
[1:00:41] So the Bible is telling us like the priests cleanse themselves
[1:00:44] before they enter into the Tabernacle proper.
[1:00:46] The only way the believer can experience sanctification is by
[1:00:49] the Word of God. So the more we look into the
[1:00:54] Word, the more we look at the mirror of God, the more we look
[1:00:59] into the Bible, the more we look at ourselves.
[1:01:02] So the Bible tells us how we look.
[1:01:06] In your morning devotion when you read the Bible tells you
[1:01:10] what you look like. You plan to be wicked to
[1:01:17] someone. You look into the mirror.
[1:01:19] This is wickedness is not you. So you see yourself in the
[1:01:28] mirror. Are you here with me?
[1:01:36] Do you know that? When aren't they washing their
[1:01:38] hands and their feet? They couldn't do business in the
[1:01:42] Tabernacle. The whole Tabernacle was made of
[1:01:44] gold. Everything was made of gold.
[1:01:48] Gold speaks of divine things. So look onto the word cleansed.
[1:01:52] They couldn't enter to the experience of divine things.
[1:01:59] You cannot. You cannot experience divinity
[1:02:02] to its food without cleansing. It's 95.
[1:02:12] Let me keep it to my promise. Rise up on your feet.
[1:02:20] Hallelujah, now I I realized that anytime we so we should
[1:02:28] pray and then.
