[1:50] Hopefully by next week we should be done with the progress of
[1:53] salvation, so we want to try and end this particular series.

[2:51] and repented. We've heard so many things like
[2:55] that. So you may not know who you are
[2:56] influencing just by sharing. Use your social media platform
[3:04] to preach Christ. It is part of stewardship.
[3:09] You must steward everything that God gives to you very well.
[3:13] You are being a good manager by sharing so that others can also
[3:18] be blessed. Hallelujah.

[3:25] church so your response really matters and you should be very
[3:31] active this morning. Hallelujah, glory to Jesus.
[3:35] So we began the series which we titled the Progress of Salvation
[3:43] and we began to look at 4 main details on the progress of
[3:50] salvation. We said that the first
[3:53] understanding you need to have in the progress of salvation is
[3:57] your understanding of #1 what? Understanding of #1 forgiveness
[4:05] #2 the second progress of salvation is righteousness, your
[4:11] understanding of righteousness. Those of you who are wearing
[4:15] white and black there, I'm not feeling you there.
[4:18] Please behave. The third progress of salvation
[4:22] is what? Sanctification.
[4:25] All right, you are coming. And then the 4th progress of
[4:30] salvation is consecration. So we got to consecration and we
[4:43] began to explain the levels of consecration, right?
[4:51] And we said the first level of consecration is what we call
[4:53] what general consecrations, please, is the class alive?
[4:58] All right, so we said the first level of consecration is general
[5:02] consecrations. And we said that the general
[5:05] consecration is the consecration every believer is previewed to
[5:13] by virtue of the Bible. The Bible outlines to US general
[5:19] consecrations. And we said the first kind of
[5:23] general consecration is purity #2 is service, number 3 is
[5:28] integrity #4 is devotion to intimacy, and #5IS sacrifice.
[5:37] So this is the first general consecration that every believer
[5:41] must subscribe to in their work with God.
[5:48] Then we came to the second level of consecration, which is where
[5:51] we started looking at, and we set the second level of
[5:54] consecration as what? Stewardship.
[5:59] Stewardship. And then we basically said that
[6:03] to be a steward simply means you are a manager.
[6:07] You don't need to be a manager of a company to know you are a
[6:12] manager. Once you are born again, you are
[6:15] declared a steward by Jesus. Are you here with me?
[6:22] So we said stewardship is commitment of oneself and
[6:25] possessions to God's service, recognizing that we do not have
[6:31] the right of control over yourself and your property.
[6:37] So by that, we're saying that a steward is a caretaker.
[6:41] The principle that we began to look at from Matthew 25 on
[6:48] stewardship, who can, who can remind us?
[6:50] We said there were 4 principles. If you can get that for me,
[6:54] it'll be very good. There were 4 principles.
[6:57] We learned from the principle of stewardship.
[6:59] We said #1 is what? The principle of ownership.
[7:04] There is nothing you have that belongs to you.
[7:07] Nothing. And as a Christian, I'm not
[7:14] talking of an unbeliever, I'm not believers.
[7:16] Hey, I worked 21 days and they paid me salary.
[7:19] That's my money. The Christian does not think
[7:22] that way. You see, that is why why you are
[7:26] in church. We renew your mind.
[7:28] We align your mindset to the mindset of Scripture so that
[7:35] when you think like Scripture, you are in alignment with God's
[7:38] will and purpose for your life. Please, are you following?
[7:41] Because everybody and many people have their own mindset
[7:45] for life. There are people who have their
[7:47] own mindset of a life, but the Scriptures give us the mindset
[7:52] that we should have. The first principle is the
[7:56] principle of ownership. Nothing belongs to you.
[7:58] God is the owner of everything. The earth is the Lord and the
[8:01] fullness thereof. So if you are the kind of person
[8:07] that think OK, your shoe belongs to you.
[8:09] So the day God says that's your shoe to this person or give out
[8:12] your shoe to this person, it's going to be a problem because of
[8:15] the principle of ownership. It is mine, it is mine.
[8:21] So even the garden God placed man in was not for Adam.
[8:25] So Adam was a caretaker of the garden.
[8:29] And unfortunately, Adam became a bad steward because he listened
[8:34] to another voice. Are you following?
[8:36] You're not here. Are you here?
[8:39] So the first thing we need to understand right from the garden
[8:43] was that God never gave ownership to anybody.
[8:50] They were supposed to be caretakers.
[8:54] For you to be a caretaker, it implies that you must be a good
[8:58] steward or a good manager of the resources, the opportunities,
[9:06] the gifts, the talent, the time that you have.
[9:12] Are we following the second principle is the principle of
[9:15] responsibility. You are supposed to work with
[9:18] what God gives to you. One had five, one had two, one
[9:24] had one. The one who had one felt it was
[9:27] nothing, so he buried it. There are some Christians who
[9:29] feel after Christians are more blessed, they are more
[9:36] privileged, they are more advantage.
[9:39] But if you risk Matthew chapter 25, the Bible says he gave it to
[9:42] them according to their several abilities.
[9:45] God knows why you came from the family you came from.
[9:50] God knows why your parents gave birth to you.
[9:54] I'm sure that some of you are wishing that Sir Ronaldo gave
[9:56] birth to you. And I'm sure some of you have
[10:02] have have guessed the day you were born.
[10:06] Why are you in the Chado family? Why are you in the Purple
[10:09] family? Why are you in the Ubudai
[10:11] family? Why are you in the Ubudai
[10:15] family? Look, God, it's wise.
[10:22] Your eye colour was deliberate. Your body shape was deliberate.
[10:28] Your fingers was deliberate. Your eyelid was deliberate.
[10:32] Your stomach size, That one is not deliberate.
[10:34] You, You are the cursor of all that particular 1.
[10:40] You are the cursor. Hallelujah.
[10:44] I thought you were thinking. I can't say it's deliberate.
[10:46] This. That one is not deliberate.
[10:49] It's the late eating. You have been eating, so now I
[10:52] can do something about it. Are you following me?
[10:56] So whatever gift that you have, there are pastors who feel OK.
[11:05] These people have the big churches, they have the big
[11:08] churches. They are having a 5000 for me.
[11:10] My members are only 20. What should I do?
[11:13] So those pastors buried their gifts.
[11:17] There are young pastors who feel OK.
[11:18] I'm not General Vasia. Nobody see me.
[11:23] Judge workers who feel OK. I'm just a drama.
[11:25] I'm just an usher. Nobody see me.
[11:27] Look, there's a reason why God placed you there.
[11:33] Are you following what I'm teaching you?
[11:35] There's a reason. And you need to understand that
[11:41] whichever place, whichever gift that you have, you must work
[11:47] with it. Stop complaining and work the
[11:55] office you are working in. Your salary is structured.
[11:58] Look, God does not do anything by mistake.
[12:01] There's a process. It takes everybody through.
[12:03] And we need to understand that in any place where you find
[12:07] yourself, you must be what responsible.
[12:12] You don't say that where would I have gotten money so I had to
[12:16] sleep with someone's wife. You don't say that you must be
[12:21] responsible. You work hard with the talents
[12:23] given to you and you don't lazy about as a Christian.
[12:26] There are many Christians who are lazy because they feel that
[12:30] they are jobless. Joblessness is not permission
[12:34] for laziness. Right now, look at the
[12:39] information on the Internet. You can learn without
[12:42] certificate. There are too many courses that
[12:47] you can do without paying school fees.
[12:49] But we have many Christians who are lazy.
[12:53] You know what? Because they look at others,
[12:55] they feel they don't have what others have.
[12:57] And that comparison, that envy has limited them.
[13:02] Look, the more you focus on what others have, you will never see
[13:05] what you have. I'm teaching good, hero, however
[13:10] little yours is, treasure it. With time, consistency, that's
[13:16] what will become a great thing. I'm teaching good.
[13:19] Those who are, those who are here and those who are the back,
[13:21] those who are not clapping. I understand your problem.
[13:29] Even in life, Sir Ronaldo was playing football, home football
[13:34] for every couple. They were just playing.
[13:36] It started with playing in the house with area boys.
[13:40] Now look consistency. Same in the Kingdom.
[13:46] I started as an usher and a drum and a prayer warrior.
[13:54] I was consistent, worked hard with what God gave to me at that
[14:01] time. I could not see as I'm seeing
[14:04] now. I could not teach as I'm
[14:06] teaching now. But there was something called
[14:09] responsibility. So at the ground level we are
[14:15] not faithful. At certain level we are not
[14:17] faithful. How do you expect God to commit
[14:21] nations into your hands, you see in the principle of stewardship
[14:27] if we don't understand the things I'm teaching there?
[14:29] There are some of you who remain where you are for 50 years and
[14:33] God is not to be blamed because you were never faithful in the
[14:37] area God gave you. You felt you needed more to
[14:39] become. You don't need more to become.
[14:42] You just have to be faithful with what you have and
[14:45] consistently build it. That's how the principle of life
[14:48] works in the Kingdom. Now, the third principle is the
[14:51] principle of accountability. Anybody who does not have the
[14:54] consciousness of accountability will never work hard.
[15:00] That's why even as solidus, there's something called report.
[15:05] Because if you don't have the consciousness of accountability,
[15:07] you just work anyhow. And unfortunately, many
[15:14] Christians don't like to be accountable.
[15:17] The moment you begin to demand accountability, people feel you
[15:19] don't like them. Wait until you stand before God.
[15:24] Let's see if you like God. You are a child of God, You are
[15:26] a son of God. But unfortunately, you will
[15:28] stand before Jesus to give an account of what you did with
[15:31] your time, of what you did with your body, of what you did with
[15:35] the relationships it brought to you, of what you did with your
[15:37] talent. So look, if you are
[15:38] uncomfortable with accountability, wait for the
[15:41] real one. Wait for the real 1 the
[15:46] principle of accountability. It states that, look, everything
[15:50] God gave you was not by chance you're going to give an account
[15:54] of everything that you did. And that principle should make
[15:59] us conscious of the fact that we must beware.
[16:06] Jesus is your Big Brother, but on judgement B, he's a king,
[16:12] He's a judge then #4 is the principle of reward.
[16:18] Whatever you do with what God gives to you will be rewarded
[16:24] based on your faithfulness, Thou good and faithful servant, not
[16:29] thou good and faithful banker. So even in your banking, you are
[16:33] supposed to serve the purposes of God in that area, thou good
[16:39] and faithful servant. So we are called to be servants.
[16:42] Whether you are CEO of a company or whatever it is, you are still
[16:45] a servant before God. Thou good and faithful servant,
[16:48] you receive rewards. Are we lemon?
[16:53] Are you sure now? So we begin to speak about 5
[16:59] areas of stewardship. Look, if you follow this
[17:01] teaching, like I've always been saying, it will change your
[17:05] life. There are some of you who come
[17:08] to me for counseling and I'm like the things I'm teaching
[17:12] you. The same thing are coming for
[17:13] counseling with. So what should I say?
[17:19] If you listen to this teaching, you don't need certain
[17:21] counseling. It's just a waste of time and my
[17:24] energy. Listen, pay attention because
[17:27] the solution is in the teaching. Are you following what I'm
[17:31] teaching you? We set the first area of
[17:35] stewardship is stewardship of time.
[17:38] You must be a caretaker of your time.
[17:40] You must steward your time very well.
[17:42] You don't waste time. You don't misuse time.
[17:55] I've done that teaching already. Go back and go and listen to it.
[17:58] It will help you #2 is the stewardship of talent, skill,
[18:03] and spiritual gift. You need to understand that
[18:10] nobody was born without a gift from God.
[18:14] Nobody. It is.
[18:17] Either you have not discovered it, or you have buried it, or
[18:22] you have taken it for granted. It's one of these three.
[18:26] You always have something. You either have a talent OR a
[18:31] skill or a gift from God. And I told you the gifts, the
[18:37] gifts of God are not just the spiritual gifts, word of
[18:40] knowledge, prophecy. No, there is the gift of the
[18:43] Father. We have mercy, we have
[18:44] leadership, we have kindness. All these things are gifts.
[18:48] Romans chapter 12, you find the gift of the Father.
[18:51] Ephesians chapter 4 from the verse 11, you find the gift of
[18:53] the Son. He calls them to be apostles,
[18:58] prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers.
[19:03] First coincidence of that? All of you find the gifts of the
[19:05] Holy Spirit. So they are about 19 and over.
[19:11] Every born again Christian has one of them, at least one of
[19:14] them. And you're supposed to be a
[19:21] steward. You know, some people think
[19:24] that, for example, in the prophetic ministry, like
[19:26] dreaming visions and stuff, people think that it just comes
[19:30] around just like that. I guess that The thing is
[19:32] coming. Look, you can grow in your gift.
[19:38] This is not how I started prophecy.
[19:39] This is not how I started teaching you grow, which means
[19:46] every gift you have, you have to study the gift, read books
[19:50] around the gift, pray into the gift, be faithful in the gift.
[19:56] You want God to help you in your dream and you don't have an
[19:58] expectation. You dream and you forget you've
[20:01] prayed about it and think, look, there is a way you have to
[20:05] position yourself. You have a notebook and a diary.
[20:08] It's beside your bed. They say, Lord, I'm waiting for
[20:10] my dream. You see, there is something you
[20:12] do that proves that you love the things of God here, here.
[20:29] So you have to use the gifts that God gives to you.
[20:33] Because of time, we move to stewardship of money, and we
[20:41] spoke about some very important truth.
[20:44] I said that if your money is not contributing to Kingdom
[20:48] advancement, you are not a good steward.
[20:59] Are you learning today? Now this was the final part I
[21:04] got to, so we're going to build from here.
[21:06] I said according to God's word, there are three systems that you
[21:13] pay anytime you receive money. If you don't apply these three
[21:21] principles with your money, you are not being faithful with your
[21:26] money. We said any money that you
[21:31] receive, there are three people. You pay number one.
[21:33] You pay God first. #2 You pay yourself and #3 you pay others.
[21:50] If you understand these three key principles of financial
[21:55] accountability, it's going to help you a lot.
[21:58] No matter the principle about money that you learned, I know
[22:03] there are some books that people have read on money.
[22:07] Rich that poor. Dad, there are worldly
[22:12] principles of money and they are godly principles of money.
[22:16] I'm teaching you the one the Bible teaches us.
[22:24] Your money does not belong to you, it belongs to God.
[22:29] So one of the way God tests your faithfulness is how you treat
[22:33] Him with your money. God so loved the world He gave
[22:39] you Prove your love to God by first giving to Him.
[22:42] Look, people don't understand that anytime you pay God first
[22:46] when you have money, it's an indication that number one, you
[22:49] trust Him as your source #2 you obey Him #3 money is not your
[23:02] God. That's why it's very difficult
[23:09] at least to take 10% and give to God at the end of every month.
[23:12] Nothing is difficult like that. Oh, and I told you me, I've
[23:17] crossed that level of 10% long time.
[23:22] At the end of days I was giving God 20%.
[23:31] That's why I could do things for God without thinking, because He
[23:36] broke the spell of money for my heart.
[23:47] Anytime you receive money and you give to God first, I said.
[23:52] It implies what, Number one, what that you trust God for your
[23:56] finances #2 that you obey him and #3 you prove to God that
[24:04] money is not your God. There's some of you are.
[24:13] There's every indication that proves that money is holding
[24:19] you. The way you behave with money is
[24:22] an indication that money is holding you.
[24:27] This Christian life is a life of faith, and one of the areas
[24:33] where God tests your faith is in finances.
[24:36] Are you here with me? It's in world finances.
[24:42] Lord, we're going to build a big church for you.
[24:46] You, you can't give Him 110th of what you receive.
[24:49] How can you build a big church for Him?
[24:54] Are you here with me now? You see, some people say, OK, if
[24:58] you don't pay your tithe, you'll not go to heaven.
[24:59] There's no scripture supporting that in the New Testament.
[25:04] And as a teacher of the Word of God, I need to enlighten you.
[25:10] Your tithe does not take you to heaven.
[25:16] Some will say if you don't pay your tithe, your life will be
[25:18] tithe. If you don't give your offering,
[25:24] you experience suffering. Look, there's no scripture
[25:33] foundation that you taste of it. The Bible tells us that each man
[25:35] should give us your spare post in his heart.
[25:37] That's number one. Number two, the Bible says God
[25:41] loves a cheerful giver. People don't know that there is
[25:47] a blessing for those who think about God first.
[25:51] The Bible says God is able to make all grace, not just
[25:54] financial. All grace are bound towards you
[25:57] so that you will not have any luck in any area.
[26:00] In other words, you're proof to God in your finances, committed
[26:05] to Him, can give you wisdom, ideas, and opportunities that
[26:11] money can buy. So some people think when they
[26:15] give to God immediately, it means that God is going to give
[26:17] them back. That's not what the principle of
[26:19] giving teaches us in the Bible. One of the responses of your
[26:25] giving to God is wisdom. One of the the blessings that we
[26:30] receive in giving to God is ideas, opportunities, those of
[26:37] favor that you know your strength can never make happen.
[26:41] They're part of it. So you pay God first.

[26:57] It is destroying too many Christians.
[27:00] Somebody will listen to a 5 minute step from maybe a pastor.
[27:05] You don't know the pastor. You don't know who is pastoring.
[27:09] You don't know his secret life. And then you will build your
[27:12] entire foundational doctrine, ignoring what your Master is
[27:14] teaching you, the one who bless your marriage, the one praying
[27:20] for you, the one seeing you every Sunday and say what he's
[27:25] saying. What my bastard is saying is not
[27:26] true. Are you kidding me?
[27:30] You think I'm a lazy man not having time to study my word?
[27:35] Look, whatever I'm teaching you is for your soul, the
[27:40] prospective of your soul. How many pastors will look at
[27:44] you and tell you that there's no scripture that says that if you
[27:48] don't give your tithe, you go to hell?
[27:51] It is confidence to do that because the heart of man in some
[27:54] way, when you start teaching like this, people will stop
[27:56] giving. But you see, the truth is the
[28:02] truth. You pay God first.
[28:07] There are people the moment they started a project, they ignored
[28:10] God. The day they started the
[28:12] project, they've stopped giving to God.
[28:17] Do you know what you're saying? You're saying that God is.
[28:19] I don't. I don't respect God.
[28:21] That's what you're saying. Hallelujah.
[28:35] There's a scripture in Proverbs chapter 3, verse five.
[28:38] I know my Bible law. I know my Bible.
[28:41] Don't be deceived, he says trust in the Lord with all your heart.
[28:47] Now give me the verse 9 Sorry for verse 39.
[28:54] Now look, I want us to read this verse together and please read
[28:57] it very loudly. 12GO and of the Lord with and look, everybody
[29:09] gives to God. How many honor God would you
[29:12] give him? I've told people that look, no
[29:18] matter how deep you think you know God, if I know a giver, I
[29:21] don't know him. I repeat, no matter how deep you
[29:27] think you know God, if you are not a giver, I am telling you,
[29:31] you don't know Him. I'm teaching good, he says.
[29:44] I'm not the law with your substance and with the first
[29:49] fruits of thine increase. Now look at the next verse.
[29:52] He says, so shall I bounce if you were plenty, and thy
[29:56] precious shall best out with new wine.
[29:59] He said I'm lying or you are lying, but I know I'm speaking
[30:04] the truth because I'm speaking from the word of God.
[30:08] You pay God first. It's a sign of Anna.
[30:15] Because look, no matter how much you think you are working 21
[30:18] days for your salary, who is giving you the strength now?
[30:21] Who is giving you the, the, the wisdom now?
[30:24] Who is giving you the breath now?
[30:26] Who is giving you the grace now? God.
[30:34] Anyone who does not honor God with his money does not honor
[30:37] God entirely. Can you imagine that God put
[30:42] money and himself at one place? God Mammon, you cannot serve 2
[30:50] masters. Can you imagine that God himself
[30:54] has made money? A master?
[30:55] That means money can be your God.
[30:58] So look, one of the things anybody's working with God, one
[31:01] of the things God will break, is to break your appetite and love
[31:05] for money. He will break it.
[31:06] If you want to work with God. When you start arming God with
[31:11] your money, it will be hard for you to be corrupted with money
[31:16] to be hard. He will save your heart.
[31:21] There are a lot of rich people who made their money from I'll
[31:28] gay, so don't just hear me people.
[31:34] I know some rich men who have taken lungs from people because
[31:37] they had connections. They took it from them.
[31:41] It wasn't for them. That's not wealth.
[31:48] That's not wealth. Make money at all costs.
[31:53] That's not what the Bible teaches.
[31:56] You think God cannot give you $1 million?
[32:01] Have you noticed that Satan can give it to you in one month and
[32:04] in three years you are dead? What God seeks to achieve and
[32:10] what Satan seeks to achieve are not the same.
[32:15] Satan wants to give you wealth and destroy you.
[32:18] God wants to give you wealth with character.
[32:26] Yes, because God knows what money can do some of you.
[32:34] Your erection is down because you don't have money.
[32:37] The very day you have money you'll realize that you are not
[32:40] what you think you wear and prophesied.
[32:46] You'll realize that all this all this while you had a problem,
[32:49] you have a women problem and you will Hearn a killing all that
[32:52] desire. It was money that killed all
[32:54] that desire. The moment 1,000,000 Ghana
[32:56] cities drop into your account you realize that everything
[32:58] about your life will change. Your eyes will open like Adam,
[33:05] your eyes were open. Hey, we are sitting there.
[33:08] Desi, your eyes were open. Now you start complaining about
[33:14] church. Why should we come to church
[33:15] like this? At least we can be able to have
[33:19] church in our houses and do online ministry because we are
[33:23] busy people. That's how you start talking.
[33:29] Now I've seen some people saying that polygamy it's not a sin.
[33:34] A man can marry 2 wives, three wives, it's not a sin.
[33:40] He's being taught in Christianity Today how and the
[33:48] wing could all testament. I'm sure some of you believe it.

[34:07] Anyway, I'm not teaching on polygamy today.
[34:09] Let's continue. So we said you pay God first.
[34:14] How do you pay God? In offerings, in tithes, in
[34:18] seeds? In offerings in tithes, in
[34:25] seeds? OK, let's assume we don't
[34:26] believe in tithe. What about seed?
[34:31] Let's assume we don't believe in tithe.
[34:32] What about giving God good offerings?
[34:40] Let's assume we don't believe in Tide.
[34:42] What about covenanting with a ministry and blessing the
[34:46] ministry on every man so the work of God can progress?
