[1:32] time passed on to the fathers by the prophets has in these last
[1:38] days. I can't hear you.
[1:48] All right, let's get that in NLT the verse one again, NLT Hebrews

[2:18] Hallelujah. Please be seated.
[2:24] So as Bible students, we I'm going to give you some few
[2:32] scriptural blogs that is going to be your homework for this

[2:37] and then you read them throughout the week to help you
[2:39] understanding as we journey to know Jesus.
[2:42] So this morning I'm teaching on exploring Jesus.
[2:47] You're not excited at all. I said I'm teaching on exploring
[2:51] Jesus. Hallelujah.
[2:53] First of all, I want to welcome the the upon family.
[3:00] Mr. Mrs. Sapon. We are here with the the entire
[3:03] family, both the husband's side and the wife's side.
[3:06] We want to welcome everybody here this morning for service.

[3:11] Let's appreciate them. Come on.
[3:15] Hallelujah. So.
[3:19] We're teaching on exploring Jesus.
[3:22] The first. Scriptural block is Hebrews
[3:24] chapter 1, the verse 1 and 2. The second is Hebrews chapter 2,
[3:30] the verse 9 to 12. The third is Philippians chapter
[3:37] 3, the verse 9 and 10. Philippians 3, the verse 9 and
[3:42] 10. The 4th is Ephesians chapter 4,
[3:47] the verse 11 to 14. Ephesians chapter 4 the verse 11
[3:52] to 14. Next is First Corinthians
[3:55] chapter 15, the verse one to four. 1st Corinthians 15.
[4:02] One to four Next is First Corinthians chapter 2, the verse
[4:05] one to three. First Corinthians chapter 2, the
[4:08] verse one to three. Last but not the least, First
[4:12] Corinthians chapter 3, the verse 11, 1st Corinthians 3, the verse
[4:18] 11, and then finally Second Corinthians chapter 4, the verse
[4:23] five and six, Second Corinthians chapter 4, the verse 5 and 6.
[4:29] All right, so let's go straight into the teaching of the word.
[4:31] Matthew chapter 16, the verse 13 to 17.
[4:34] Matthew chapter 16, the verse 13 to 17.
[4:38] Let's do quickly. The Bible says when Jesus.
[4:43] Came to the region Matthew chapter 16 the verse 13 to 17.
[4:48] All right, he says. When Jesus came to the region of
[4:52] Caesarea Philippine, he asked his disciples, who do people say
[4:57] that the Son of Man is? Now pay attention to this.
[5:01] Who? Do people say that the Son of
[5:03] Man is now the next verse? He says.
[5:08] Well, they replied. Some say.
[5:11] You are John. The Baptist, some say Elijah.
[5:16] Others say Jeremiah. Or one of the other prophets.
[5:22] Then he asked them, But who do you say I am?
[5:29] Next verse, Simon Peter answered.
[5:33] You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.
[5:38] Now give that to me in KJVKJV. And Simon Peter answered and
[5:44] said. Come we together.
[5:45] I want to go. Thou art the Christ, the Son.
[5:50] Of the living God, the verse 17, the verse 17.
[6:00] And Jesus answered and said unto them, Blessed art thou, Simon,
[6:06] by Jonah for. Flesh and blood had not.
[6:11] Revealed it unto thee. But my.
[6:14] Father which is in heaven, may the Lord bless His word this
[6:19] morning in. Jesus name now Jesus Christ.
[6:23] Asked his. Disciples, one of the.
[6:26] Greatest questions in Christianity?
[6:29] Who do men? Say that the Son of Man.
[6:35] Am who do men? Say that I am.
[6:39] So Jesus was asking what do men say I am?
[6:45] And the answer they gave, some said you are Jeremiah, some say
[6:48] you are Elijah, others said that you are like.
[6:50] One of the other prophets. Then Jesus asked them.
[6:56] His disciples, who do you say I am?
[7:02] Then Simon Peter said, Thou art Christ the.
[7:08] Son of the living God, immediately Jesus said that.
[7:14] Simon Peter, flesh and blood, did not reveal this truth, this
[7:20] revelation to you, but this revelation which is Christ, the
[7:26] Son of the living. God is coming directly from the
[7:31] Father. Hallelujah Which?
[7:35] Means that they saw Jesus. As the son of man, but.
[7:40] It took revelation to see Jesus as the Son of God.
[7:45] Then Jesus said in the verse 18 Matthew.
[7:48] Chapter 16. The verse 17.
[7:51] Sorry, come to 17. He says and I say.
[7:55] OK, come to 18 and I say unto thee, Thou art Peter.
[8:05] That's Petros. And upon this.
[8:07] Rock Petra I will build. My church.
[8:12] And the gates of hell. Shall not.
[8:15] Prevail against it. Now the answer that Peter gave
[8:21] when? Jesus was asking or when Jesus
[8:23] asked. Who do men say that I am?
[8:28] That answer? Christ, the Son of the living
[8:31] God, was the very revelation Jesus affirmed by saying, I say
[8:36] unto you, Peter, upon this rock. Now the question What is the
[8:42] rock that Jesus Christ was speaking?
[8:45] About when you. Study a bit of the.
[8:50] Bible. Some believe that the rock he
[8:52] was referring here to is Peter himself, because the word Peter
[8:56] in the Greek is Petros, which means a stone.
[9:01] So some believe that he was saying that.
[9:03] The church was going to be built on Peter, but that's not
[9:05] possible because. Peter did not die.
[9:07] For us. Peter is not the head of the
[9:10] church. Are we following?
[9:14] So what is the rock? Because he's saying that it is
[9:16] upon this rock, this rock that I will build my church and the
[9:24] gates. Of hell shall not be able to
[9:25] prevail against it. So what is this rock?
[9:32] First Corinthians, chapter 10. The verse one to four.
[9:38] First Corinthians, chapter 10. The verse one to four.
[9:40] It says moreover rendering. I would not that ye should be
[9:44] ignorant how that all our fathers were under the cloud and
[9:48] all passed. Through the sea next verse.
[9:51] And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea.
[9:54] The verse 3. And did eat the same meat, the
[9:58] same spiritual. Meat talking about the Old
[10:00] Testament experience. OK, now.
[10:02] He says and did all drink the same spiritual drink.
[10:05] The water that came from the rock that they drank.
[10:08] That's what the Bible is talking.
[10:08] About for the drunk of that what?
[10:12] You're not here with me. In your life, the drunk of that
[10:18] spiritual rock that what? Look, it is believed that the
[10:22] rock from which the water came out from when that rock had the
[10:28] water gash out the rock. Still followed them the Jewish.
[10:34] People believed it, so the. Rock was still following them,
[10:39] so they got to the promised land.
[10:41] So he's. Seen the drunk from that
[10:42] spiritual rock that. Followed them and that rock was
[10:49] that rock was. Christ.
[10:52] So now if Jesus says flesh and blood did not reveal.
[10:57] This to you when you. Say.
[10:59] Or when you said that I am the Christ?
[11:02] And he says upon this rock. I will build my church.
[11:05] What is the Rock? So the rock in contest is the
[11:09] revelation of Christ. The Son of God, are you here
[11:16] with me? So that's the rock.
[11:20] The rock is Jesus. So he says upon this rock the
[11:25] truth about Jesus being the Christ, the Son of God now,
[11:29] according to the Jewish people. John, chapter 5, verse 18.
[11:32] When a man says he's the son of. God, he's actually saying.
[11:35] He's God. Are you here with me?
[11:39] So you cannot say that you are a son of.
[11:43] God in in the Jewish setting because when you.
[11:48] Say that you are actually making yourself equal with God.
[11:53] I'm teaching good Hell, are you here with me at all?
[11:57] So he says that upon this rock, this rock is Christ, the son of
[12:03] the. Living God, the Revelation.
[12:04] I will build my church, which means the church is a product of
[12:09] Jesus, which means the church was established upon Christ.
[12:22] Secondly, the Bible is telling us about the deity of Jesus.
[12:25] When he calls him the Son of the living God, he's saying that
[12:27] Jesus is God upon the revelation of Christ, who is the Son of
[12:37] God. I will.
[12:38] Build my church. So there is no church.
[12:41] Without Jesus, are you? Here and the gates of.
[12:47] Hell shall not. Prevail.
[12:49] In other words, we engage spiritual battle.
[12:54] By the revelation of Christ. Which means without the
[12:59] revelation of Jesus Christ, the Church will lose every battle
[13:04] against. Hell, I'm teaching good here
[13:10] now. So we're looking at exploring
[13:17] Jesus. What is it about Jesus that we
[13:21] can excavate? We, we can.
[13:24] We can. Glean from We can eat from we
[13:26] can explore going. To be a very interesting series.
[13:33] Are you ready? Now the first thing that we are
[13:36] exploring about Jesus or we will discover when we begin to study
[13:40] of Jesus look spiritual maturity is not activity or spiritual
[13:47] maturity is not fast activity. You know, because when we.
[13:51] Speak of spiritual maturity, people think.
[13:52] It's all. Just about prayer, long prayer
[13:56] or fasting or just reading your. Bible No spiritual maturity
[14:03] happens when a certain body of truth, a certain revelation,
[14:07] becomes the foundation upon which all these.
[14:09] Activities. Are damned.
[14:13] Are you here with me? So look, you cannot grow
[14:17] spiritually without understanding and knowing Jesus.
[14:23] You can pray for 10 hours without knowing Jesus.
[14:27] You can't grow. As a Christian, I'm teaching
[14:32] Wello. The first thing we are
[14:42] exploring? About Jesus is #1 Jesus is God.
[14:48] Jesus is God. So you're speaking about the
[14:53] deity of Jesus Christ the 1st. Thing we need to know is that
[14:57] God Jesus is called God directly from scripture.
[15:03] Jesus is called God. Directly from scripture.
[15:06] That's the first thing under the first point, Jesus is God.
[15:08] John chapter 1, the verse one. In the beginning.
[15:12] Please whoever is protecting must be very fast and follow me.
[15:16] In the beginning. Was the word and the.
[15:18] Word was with God and the word was can you shout it?
[15:25] So Jesus is the word of God and the Bible says that word is God.
[15:32] So Jesus is God. John chapter 1 to verse 14 the
[15:36] Bible says and the word became flesh.
[15:42] Remember the word is God. So if the word.
[15:44] Became flesh. It means that God became.
[15:48] Are you here at all? That means He took.
[15:53] Human nature he took upon. Himself human nature.
[15:57] Are you here John chapter 20 the verse 28 John 2028.
[16:04] Then Thomas said to Jesus. My Lord and my God, my Lord and
[16:13] my God. Jesus was called by Thomas, Lord
[16:17] and God and. Jesus never said you can.
[16:19] Call me Lord and God because I'm not He.
[16:21] He accepted worship. Are you?
[16:25] Here so Jesus God titles. Chapter 2.
[16:28] The verse 13. Titles 2.
[16:31] The Verse 13. Looking for that blessed hope.
[16:36] Follow. And the glorious appearing of
[16:40] the You're not here, we'll be there, Great God and our Saviour
[16:47] Jesus Christ. So who is?
[16:48] Jesus the Great. God.
[16:50] The great who is Jesus? The great God.
[16:57] Hallelujah, Hebrews, chapter one, verse 8.
[17:07] But. Unto the Son he said, Look,
[17:10] talking about Jesus. Unto the Son he said, Thy what?
[17:13] Thy throne, thy throne, oh God, is forever.
[17:18] So he calls Jesus God, God called Jesus God.
[17:27] Are you here? The second thing about the deity
[17:31] of Jesus is that he possesses divine.
[17:34] Attributes, so the first. Point is that he's called God
[17:39] directly. The second point is that He
[17:42] possesses divine attributes #1 He is eternal Micah chapter 5,
[17:52] the verse 2. He is eternal.
[17:56] Micah 5 the verse 2 But thou, Bethlehem and Freta.
[18:02] Though that belittle among thousands of Judah, yet out of
[18:06] this shall come forth unto me. That is to be.
[18:09] Ruler in Israel, A prophecy about Christ.
[18:11] Who is going forth have been from.
[18:14] Old from everlasting. So Jesus is eternal.
[18:18] He possesses divine attributes #2 He is Creator.
[18:23] Colossians 116. Colossians 116 He is creator.
[18:35] For by Him were all things created.
[18:39] Now look at that for by him Christ, where all things were
[18:44] created that are in heaven and that are in earth.
[18:50] Both visible and invisible Whether?
[18:53] They be Thrones or Dominion or Principalities.
[18:56] Or powers. All things were.
[18:58] Created by him and this is interesting.
[19:08] So he's creator then he can forgive sin Mark chapter 2 the
[19:14] verse 5 to. 7 Something only God.
[19:18] Can do. He can forgive sin.
[19:23] When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of passes,
[19:26] Son, thy sins. Be forgiving thee only God.
[19:31] Can forgive sin because. Sin is against God, so if Jesus
[19:39] could forgive sin, he must be God.
[19:43] Are you here with me? I'm sure you're wondering if
[19:45] Jesus is God. So what now?
[19:48] But at the end of the teaching, you understand why this teaching
[19:51] is very critical. To our faith as a Christian now.
[19:55] The second point to note in our exploring of.
[19:58] Christ is that. He is the Messiah.
[20:01] We just looked at the fact that Jesus Christ is God.
[20:05] In fact, he was. Called God.
[20:08] Then he also possesses divine attributes.
[20:12] He's omnipotent. He's omnipresent, omniscient #2
[20:20] He is the Messiah. We are exploring Jesus.
[20:22] Who is this Jesus? He is Messiah, say Messiah.
[20:27] That's what the Bible. Calls him the Christ anywhere
[20:29] you see the. Christ.
[20:29] He's Speaking of the fact that Jesus Christ is Messiah.
[20:34] The first thing to note. About Jesus being the Messiah is
[20:37] that he is the. Promised.
[20:38] Savior. He's the promised Savior.
[20:45] Isaiah Chapter 9, the verse six to seven.
[20:48] Please, let's do this quickly. The Bible says, For unto us a
[20:53] child is born, unto us A. Son is given, and the government
[20:59] shall be. Upon his shoulder His name, I
[21:01] imagine, shall be called wonderful Counselor.
[21:06] Mighty God, the everlasting Father, the.
[21:10] Prince of Peace. So Jesus is savior.
[21:15] The Bible calls him mighty God. Daniel Chapter 9 verse 25.
[21:20] The Bible predicts the coming of Jesus.
[21:22] Christ, he says no, therefore, and understand that from the
[21:28] going forth. Of the commandment to restore.
[21:31] And to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah.
[21:34] Look at that. The Prince shall be serving
[21:37] weeks. You see the M there is capital
[21:41] M, the P there is capital P, and three score in two weeks the
[21:46] streets shall be built again in the wall.
[21:48] Ever in what troublous times Hallelujah.
[21:53] John chapter 4, verse 25 and 26. Jesus identifies himself as the
[21:59] Messiah. He says, For the woman said unto
[22:02] him, I. Know the Messiah comet, which is
[22:05] called Christ. Look at that.
[22:09] When he's come, he will tell us all things.
[22:13] Look at Jesus reply the verse 26, Jesus said.
[22:17] I that speak unto thee, I'm he. In other words.
[22:23] I am the Christ and I am the Messiah.
[22:27] I that speak to you, I'm he. The woman will say that.
[22:30] We know that when Christ comes, he's going to restore.
[22:32] When the Messiah comes, he's going to restore.
[22:34] Jesus says I that speak to you, I'm he.
[22:38] I'm the Messiah. So the first thing is that Jesus
[22:42] is the promised Savior. #2 or B, He's the.
[22:46] He's the. Fulfillment of Messianic.
[22:49] Prophecies, please. This is a.
[22:52] Strong Bible school. Teaching I'm giving to you.
[22:55] Every. Believer must know these basics.
[23:01] He's the. Fulfillment of the Masonic
[23:03] prophecies. Now when you read the Old
[23:04] Testament, Jesus fulfills over. 300 prophecies about him.
[23:10] Spoken and prophesied by different people who did not
[23:14] know each other. They ended up saying the same
[23:16] thing. Interesting.
[23:20] Over 300. Prophecies.
[23:21] I'm sure as part of our teaching we're going to take them one
[23:24] after the other. So I.
[23:27] Give you a few. Isaiah Chapter 7, the verse. 14
[23:31] The Bible. Confirmed that Jesus.
[23:32] Was going to be born of a virgin.
[23:35] This is thousands of years before Mary came, so it you
[23:41] can't program it, you can't program it.
[23:46] Look, therefore the Lord. Himself shall give.
[23:49] You a sign, Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
[23:56] and shall call his name. So now Matthew chapter.
[24:04] So this prophecy. Came in Isaiah Chapter 7, the
[24:06] verse 14. It was fulfilled in Matthew
[24:09] chapter 1, the verse 22 and 23. Look at that.
[24:15] Now all this was done. Look at that.
[24:18] We. Exploring Jesus.
[24:19] That it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the
[24:25] Prophet saying. The 1st 23 behold.
[24:30] A virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth.
[24:35] A son, and they shall. Call his name Emmanuel, which
[24:39] being interpreted what God. With us, we are still affirming
[24:43] that Jesus Christ is God. I hope you are learning
[24:46] something new. So Jesus fulfills the Mazamic
[24:50] prophecies in Isaiah 714. A French is going to conceive
[24:54] and bear as a child. It was fulfilled.
[24:56] Matthew. Chapter 1.
[24:57] The verse 23. Again, we saw exactly where he
[25:02] was going to be born. Micah Chapter 5 the verse 2
[25:06] Micah. 52. Look but down Bethlehem, every
[25:12] time, though down belittle amongst the thousands of Judah,
[25:16] yet out of thee, out of thee shall come forth unto me the
[25:19] Ruler. In Israel look at Matthew
[25:23] chapter 2 the verse one Matthew 21 quickly Matthew 21 look.
[25:31] Now when Jesus was born, from where born him?
[25:36] Bethlehem of Judea prophesied many years ago.
[25:40] Jesus fulfills. That scripture asked the
[25:43] Messiah. Are we learning something?
[25:53] Next he was. Going to be born from the line
[25:55] of David. Second Samuel Chapter 7, the
[25:58] verse 12 to 16. Let's do it quickly.
[26:00] Second Samuel was going to be born from the line of David
[26:05] Chapter 7, the verse 12 to 16 and when.
[26:08] The days be fulfilled. Thou shall sleep with thy
[26:11] fathers. I will set up thy seed.
[26:14] After thee. Which shall proceed out of thy.
[26:17] Powers and I will establish his Kingdom, the verse 13 he shall
[26:20] build. An house for my name, and I will
[26:23] establish the throne of his Kingdom forever.
[26:28] I will be his. Father, and he shall be my son,
[26:31] if he will. Commit iniquity.
[26:33] I will chasten him with a rod of.
[26:35] Men and with the. Stripes of the children.
[26:37] Of men, the verse 15. But my message shall not depend
[26:41] from him. As I took.
[26:42] It from Saul, whom I put away. Before thee the verse 16 And thy
[26:47] house and thy Kingdom shall be established forever before thee
[26:51] thy. Throne shall be established
[26:53] forever. Look, David's throne.
[26:55] Physically was not established forever.
[26:57] So if he's telling him that his throne shall be established
[27:00] forever, he's talking about what a heavenly throne and today only
[27:05] the throne of Jesus is established.
[27:07] Forever from the line of David, but for Jesus, glory to Jesus,
[27:14] Hallelujah. We also look at his peers hands
[27:18] and feet. So everything that happened was
[27:23] was prophesied Psalm. 22 to the verse. 16 Psalm 22, the verse.
[27:29] 16 He says, For dogs have have come past me, the assembly of
[27:36] the wicked have enclosed me. What do they do?
[27:40] Want to go there? They Pierce my hands and my
[27:46] feet. Look at John 1918.
[27:51] John chapter 19 the verse 18. Where they crucified him and two
[27:58] other. People with him either one side,
[28:02] and Jesus in the midst. So in the crucifixion they
[28:04] pierced his hands and his feet. Professor Bai.
[28:09] Psalmist. The Resurrection in Psalm 16,
[28:13] the best 10. Psalm 16 the Best 10.
[28:18] For thou would not leave my soul.
[28:21] In Hell. Neither will thou suffer thy
[28:25] holy. One capital H to seek.
[28:28] Corruption so it was prophesied that God would not leave the.
[28:34] Dead body of Jesus. In the grave in hell?
[28:39] How was that fulfilled? Acts Chapter. 2 The verse 31.
[28:47] He's seen this. Before look at that.
[28:50] Speak of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not
[28:56] left in hell neither. His flesh did see.
[29:00] What corruption are you learning so?
[29:06] These. Teachings they they may seem.
[29:08] A little boring, but you see the church is trained to do.
[29:11] I receive, I receive my breakthrough.
[29:14] At the end of the day, you don't know Christ, but you know
[29:17] breakthrough. Where you will learn in this
[29:27] church? Tell somebody you will learn in
[29:28] this church. Hallelujah.
[29:31] Quickly #3 we are exploring Jesus.
[29:34] Jesus is the Son of God. So number.
[29:37] One we said Jesus is God. #2 He is the.
[29:40] Messiah #3 He is the Son of God. Are you blessed?
[29:47] OK, so the first point is that. Jesus is declared the Son of God
[29:51] by the Father. That's the first point he was
[29:54] declared. The Son of God by the Father.
[30:00] Matthew chapter 3, the verse 17 and Matthew 1715.
[30:06] So get ready with that. Matthew 317 and.
[30:08] Lo, a voice from heaven saying, This is my beloved son.
[30:13] It came from heaven. It didn't come from men.
[30:17] This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.
[30:22] Look, the people that were present there all headed Jesus.
[30:27] Confirmed God confirmed that Jesus was his son.
[30:32] Are you here? Matthew chapter 17 Quickly the
[30:36] verse 5. Lord, have mercy, Lord.
[30:40] Have mercy on my son. For.
[30:43] Matthew chapter 17, the verse. 5 Not 15-5 while he yet spoke,
[30:51] Behold a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold a
[30:55] voice out of the cloud. We.
[30:56] Said Can we be together? One to go, this is hear him.
[31:06] Hallelujah. Are you learning?
[31:12] Secondly, the first point is that he was declared a son by
[31:17] the father. Secondly.
[31:19] We are Speaking of his unique sonship.
[31:21] Jesus has a unique sonship. We are all the sons of God by
[31:26] virtue of our faith in Christ. But Jesus sonship is unique.
[31:34] John, chapter 5, verse 18. Therefore the Jews sought more
[31:42] to kill him, because he not only had broken the.
[31:45] Sabbath, but he also said. That.
[31:47] God was his father. They had a problem.
[31:50] Making himself equal with God. This was his unique sonship.
[32:04] Look, we are sons of God, but the the role and the place and
[32:08] the position of Jesus. As a son.
[32:10] Is unique. There is no replica.
[32:15] He's a unique. Son, are you here?
[32:20] John chapter 10, verse 30 to 33. He says I and my father are one.
[32:27] That means whoever the father is, I am I.
[32:34] Am my father, I want John 10:30. I am my father I want one more
[32:40] time. John 1030.
[32:43] I for the last time, John 1030. You've come to Sunday school.
[32:51] I love it so. Jesus is a unique son.
[33:00] Equal with God. #4 because of time.
[33:05] Jesus is the Son of man and it's very important.
[33:10] First Timothy chapter 3, verse 16.
[33:13] Jesus is the Son of Man. First Timothy 316.
[33:18] He says, and without controversy.
[33:21] Great is the mystery of. Godliness.
[33:24] What is that mystery? God was manifest in the flesh.
[33:30] We're Speaking of the humanity of Jesus.
[33:32] The incarnation of Jesus the. Kenosis of Christ.
[33:43] So his humanity is very important.
[33:47] Jesus was fully man and fully God, fully God to represent God
[33:54] to man and fully man to represent man to man and God He
[34:03] was fully man. So he becomes the perfect
[34:06] sacrifice before. Because every man that is born
[34:09] of a woman was born of sin. Because your spam came from a
[34:13] man who is connected to Adam. So for all I've seen and fall
[34:19] short of the glory of God, which is why Jesus begged her to be
[34:22] from a virgin. Because if Joseph became the
[34:25] mother, the actual father or biological father of Jesus
[34:29] Christ, he can't save us because Joseph.
[34:31] Himself had sinned. Are we?
[34:35] Here so he became fully man, yet God.
[34:47] You see, that's the mystery. So the Bible causes the mystery
[34:50] of godliness. Where?
[34:53] God takes human flesh look. Jesus did not.
[34:58] Appear as a man. He was.
[35:01] Born as a man a. Woman conceived him for nine
[35:07] months, breastfed him for nine months.
[35:14] What a humility. God was being bathed by Mary.
[35:21] Or burn a powder. Or burn a Pompez.
[35:30] Jesus, you just think about it. Mary was sending Jesus.
[35:40] To go and buy a quick baby. Look, it's a mystery, The one
[35:47] Mary. Was carrying.
[35:49] Was actually carrying Mary herself in eternity.
[35:54] Think about it, Mary was carrying the Creator of the
[36:00] universe. Look, that is the most
[36:04] humiliating experience that God could subject himself.
[36:08] The people he created were the people who conceived him just
[36:12] because of you and I. This is to tell us that God is
[36:19] willing to go every height and every depth.
[36:22] Just to save you from sin. Yes, I'm telling you.
[36:27] Yes, yes, yes. So he's the son of.
[36:33] Man 80 times in the Gospels. Jesus.
[36:39] Called himself Son of Man 80 times.
[36:44] And it's very important that we know, because his humanity.
[36:47] Was our hope. His.
[36:50] Humanity was our hope. Hallelujah.
[37:04] He was a perfect man to become the perfect sacrifice quickly #5
[37:10] Jesus is savior. We are exploring Jesus, He's
[37:16] Savior. The first thing to note here is
[37:22] that he came to save. Sinners, Jesus came to save
[37:26] sinners. Matthew chapter 1 the verse 21.
[37:33] He will save his people from their sins, and he shall bring
[37:38] forth a son, and that shall call his name Jesus, for he shall
[37:41] save his people. So Jesus is Savior.
[37:43] Luke chapter 19. The verse 10.
[37:47] The. Son of Man came to seek and to
[37:49] save that. Which was lost John chapter.
[37:57] Three the verse 16 and 17 and 17 God so loved the world that he
[38:01] gave his only begotten Son that. Whosoever believes in him
[38:05] should. Not perish, but have everlasting
[38:08] life. So Jesus is Savior.
[38:13] I will let him. All right, so let's do some.
[38:19] Let's rehearse what we just learned.
[38:20] Now we are exploring Jesus. The first thing we said was that
[38:23] Jesus is, You are not here with me.
[38:25] The class is weak. Jesus is.
[38:27] Is God #2. We said Jesus is.
[38:32] He is the Messiah, the Christ, the Anointed one number three,
[38:36] we said. Jesus is.
[38:38] The Son of God and the reason why Jesus became the Son of God
[38:44] is so that God can have many sons through him.
[38:47] That's why you're also the Son of God today #4 we said that
[38:51] Jesus is. The Son of Man.
[38:54] Speaking of his perfect humanity, he was.
[38:55] Full man. Fully, man.
[38:57] So he could die. Imagine that Jesus manifested in
[39:03] his divinity and then as a man. He'll function perfectly as God.
[39:11] But look. By the time they take.
[39:13] The nail to Pierce him. You hear Jesus saying.
[39:16] Oh. Deishi, you Pierce that he won't
[39:19] go. Whatever you put inside his
[39:22] body, it won't go because he's functioning in his deity.
[39:25] But he didn't, so he. Can be a perfect sacrifice for
[39:32] us. Hallelujah #5 we said Jesus is
[39:35] savior. So the first point He came to
[39:38] save sinners, the second. Point to note is.
[39:41] That his death is the atonement. His death is atonement.
[39:51] You're going to see that in Isaiah chapter 53.
[39:54] Isaiah chapter 53, you're going to see that he's the suffering
[39:58] servant who bore our sins. He was wounded for
[40:02] transgressions, bruise for iniquities, the chastisement or
[40:05] the debt. Dealing blow that brought us
[40:08] peace. Was upon him by whose stripes we
[40:12] are healed. Hallelujah.
[40:14] Are you learning first Peter chapter 2 the verse 24?
[40:19] The Bible tells us he bore our sins in his own body on the
[40:23] cross, who his own self bear are.
[40:26] Sins in his own body, on the tree that we, being dead to sin,
[40:30] should live unto. Righteousness, by whose stripes
[40:33] we were healed. Hebrews Chapter 9.
[40:35] The verse 26. The Bible says for them must he
[40:43] often have suffered. Since the foundation of the
[40:46] world. But now once in the end of the
[40:49] world, had he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of
[40:55] himself. So his death is settlement as a
[41:00] savior. Quickly, because of time, we
[41:03] move to number six. Jesus is Lord, Jesus is Lord.
[41:17] Hallelujah. Jesus is Lord.
[41:22] The word Lord in the Greek is kurios.
[41:24] Say kurios. I can't hear you say Kurios.
[41:29] You can name your child Kurios. Mr. Mr. Will you name my child
[41:32] Kurios? Kuria.
[41:35] Kuria. OK.
[41:45] Say kurios. Now the word kurios means
[41:49] master. Please time me.
[41:52] From where I started preaching, not from when they started
[41:55] leading the song. OK, Hallelujah.
[42:04] Only if you understand Hallelujah.
[42:10] So he's Lord. The word Lord means master, It
[42:15] means controller, it means ruler.
[42:21] So now Jesus is called Lord. In a divine sense, Philippians
[42:26] chapter 2, the verse. 9 to 11 The Bible says every knee shall
[42:30] bow, and every. Tongue shall confess that Jesus.
[42:33] Christ is Lord, Lord is Master, Controller, honor.
[42:44] So Jesus is Lord. Romans chapter 10 verse 9 and
[42:47] 10. The Bible says that if thou
[42:50] shalt confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in
[42:53] your heart. That God raised him from the.
[42:55] Dead thou shalt be saved. Bible says that for the For with
[42:59] the heart man believes unto righteousness.
[43:01] With the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
[43:04] So if you will. Confess with your mouth the.
[43:06] Lord Jesus, so Jesus is. Lord.
[43:09] Hallelujah. Now the second thing you need to
[43:13] understand under this point is that Jesus used a very important
[43:17] divine name. What's that divine name?
[43:23] I am John chapter 8 the verse 58.
[43:31] John chapter 8. The verse 58.
[43:34] Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, before
[43:39] Abraham was. I am.
[43:42] Now this this word I am. Was was used in Exodus chapter 3
[43:47] the verse 14, Exodus 3 the verse 14.
[43:52] And God said to Moses, when? When Moses asked God, what
[43:56] should I say if they asked me who?
[43:58] Sent me and he says. I am, that I am.
[44:01] And he said, Thou shall say unto the children of Israel.
[44:05] I am sent you. This was thousands of years and
[44:11] Jesus said before Abraham, not before Moses.
[44:14] Oh, before Abraham was I am. That's the same word, Yahweh.
[44:24] So Jesus is the I am of God. Are you following?
[44:30] It's a serious matter, so. Jesus.
[44:31] Is not just a prophet, he's God his savior.
[44:38] He's what? He's God, he's savior, he's
[44:42] Messiah, He's son of God, he's Messiah.
[44:47] And. It is.
[44:55] Well, Hallelujah. All right, so #1. #7 we're
[45:03] exploring Jesus. Jesus is the word of God.
[45:08] He's the word of God. Hallelujah is the word of God,
[45:12] the Bible says in the beginning was the word, and the Word was
[45:15] with God and the. Word was God now that.
[45:18] Word word. There is logos in the Greek
[45:21] Logos say logos. Now the word logos means
[45:24] thought. It means reasoning, it means
[45:29] faculty of speaking. It means a living voice.
[45:36] It means doctrine. It means a matter.
[45:40] Under discussion. It means mental faculty of.
[45:45] Thinking. Now look at that.
[45:48] So the Bible says in the beginning was the Word, He said,
[45:51] in the beginning was the thoughts, in the beginning was
[45:55] God's reasoning, in the beginning was the faculty.
[45:58] Of speaking in our. Words if Jesus is God, that
[46:01] means Jesus is God's faculty of. Thinking.
[46:06] Jesus is God's reasoning if you want to know.
[46:09] God, you must know Jesus. If you want to know how God
[46:12] thinks, you must know Jesus. Jesus is the reasoning capacity.
[46:17] Of God. Jesus is the faculty of God's
[46:20] speech. Anything God will say is Christ
[46:23] and in Christ and through Christ Jesus, Hallelujah.
[46:31] So Jesus Christ is the word of God in Hebrews chapter one verse
[46:36] one to three he says. God who are sundry.
[46:38] Times and endeavors. Manners.
[46:39] Who speak to our fathers. By the prophets has in these
[46:42] last days spoken. To us in his son, He has spoken
[46:47] to us. In his Son, so Jesus.
[46:49] Is the word of God. He's the word of God.
[46:56] Quickly number. 8 Jesus is the image.
[47:01] Of God. I love this one.
[47:05] Jesus is the image of God. Colossians chapter 1 the verse
[47:13] 15 in TPT. He's the image of God.
[47:21] TPT, he says. He's the divine portrait, the
[47:25] true likeness of the invisible God and the first born heir.
[47:30] Of all creation. Look, so Jesus is God's divine
[47:34] portrait, the very true likeness of the invisible God.
[47:39] So if you want to see. God, look at Jesus.
[47:46] Are you here John Chapter 1, the verse 18?
[47:52] John 118. KJV.
[47:56] John, 118. He says no one has ever gazed
[48:00] upon the fullness. Of God's splendor, except.
[48:06] No man has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, which is
[48:13] in the bosom of the. Father, he had declared him The
[48:20] word declared means to explain. It means to announce so long
[48:25] before Jesus came, people had their own interpretation about
[48:29] God, including some Old Testament passages, some
[48:34] believe. God is a wicked person.
[48:35] God does not forgive. God is dangerous.
[48:39] God is to be feared. Look, when Jesus came, he came
[48:44] to give visibility to divinity. Jesus came to expose God.
[48:53] He came to explain God. So when you see Jesus heal, that
[48:57] means God is a healer when you. See Jesus forgive.
[49:02] God Forgives sin. When you see Jesus love, God
[49:06] loves. Are you here with me?
[49:14] So Jesus is the. Explanation of God Can you say
[49:16] that again? Jesus is the explanation of God.
[49:20] So look, it means that Jesus reveals God perfectly, His
[49:27] character, his will and his nature.
[49:31] Jesus. Is the revelation.
[49:33] He reveals God's character, he reveals God's will, and he
[49:37] reveals. God's nature.
[49:45] So the patience of Jesus is interpretation to us that God is
[49:49] patient. Five times Jesus got angry.
[49:54] Which tells us that God has. Anger, but his anger is
[49:57] righteous and holy. It is revealed against
[50:00] unrighteousness. So the anger of Jesus was always
[50:03] revealed towards hypocrisy and disobedience.
[50:08] So some great people take it to the extreme.
[50:10] They say Jesus is revealing God only as love, but that's not the
[50:14] full. Truth.
[50:18] So Jesus is the interpretation of God.
[50:20] There were times Jesus brought judgment upon a city, which
[50:23] means God is a judge. Are we here?
[50:30] Finally #9 Jesus is King, Judge, and Lord of all.
[50:46] All right, so my time is up. I'm not.
[50:49] Let me be an obedient child. Hallelujah.
[50:59] So now let's rehearse. Before we pray, we're exploring.
[51:03] Jesus, some of these. Teachings are very.
[51:05] Calm, but this is what? Is going to establish you as a
[51:07] Christian are here with me. So the.
[51:10] Jesus that you are serving. This is what you must know about
[51:13] Him. The Jesus you are serving is
[51:16] number one. What?
[51:17] He's God #2 he's, he's Messiah #3 He's one, the son of.
[51:26] God #4. Son of man #5.
[51:30] Savior #6 He's Lord #7. He's the word of God number. 8
[51:38] He's the image of God #9 he's king and his judge of all.
[51:45] Did you learn something? All right.
[51:50] So this is going to be a very, We're just scratching the
[51:55] surface. Of how we're going to.
[51:57] Explore Jesus this year. There's a lot.
[52:00] To know about Christ and. Unfortunately, many.
[52:03] Christians don't know him. Many Christians don't know
[52:08] Jesus. Amen.
[52:15] You ask the basic question about salvation.
[52:17] The Christian can't tell you about salvation, but I can tell
[52:20] you about warfare prayers. Let's send fire to our hometown,
[52:25] Shkate Brakote. Shahida kupwasa my.
[52:28] Father side, my mother side, that one you are expect.
[52:34] But you don't know salvation. You don't know who Jesus is.
[52:36] Look, do you know that when you get to know who Jesus is, it
[52:40] begins? To affect your prayer.
[52:42] Because your faith deepens that the one I'm serving is God, his
[52:47] Savior, his Messiah. We're going to be learning from
[52:51] from next week. He's he's the wisdom of God.
[52:53] He's the power of God. It's the fulfillment of Masonic
[52:57] prophecies. You're going to be learning all
[52:59] these things. You're blessed.
[53:02] All right, celebrate Jesus and rise up on your feet.
[53:10] We're going to. Pray for about 5 minutes and
[53:12] then we are going to worship the Lord for a few minutes before we
[53:17] are all right. Please, whoever is taking prayer
[53:22] shall come and take over. Can you lift your voice and
[53:23] begin to thank the Lord and bless you?
[53:25] Lift your voice of blessing. Lift your voice of blessing the
[53:47] Lord. Lift your voice and bless
[54:12] the Lord.
