[0:00] Hallelujah. So we're teaching this morning
[0:07] on Wounded by God, the portrait of how God transforms his sins.
[0:18] This teaching may not be long and it's not something that you
[0:26] are not familiar with, but I can assure you that something will
[0:32] happen to your life if you open up your spirit man to receive
[0:37] the Word of God. The Bible speaks about four
[0:42] characters in the book of Genesis and these 4 characters
[0:50] that I want us to take note of is Isaac, Rebecca, Esau, and
[1:06] Jacob. This is what our teaching is
[1:12] going to be based on, on these 4 characters, because there are
[1:16] some depths that we want to extract from the Word of God
[1:23] concerning these 4 characters and how God works in us as
[1:27] believers. So to, to, to this morning we're
[1:33] going to have three men and one woman to represent them.
[1:38] I love to teach with practical examples.
[1:41] So you're going to join them, join the two of them.
[1:48] So come forward a bit. So which one of you is going to
[1:54] sacrifice yourself? OK, that's fine.
[1:57] So please move this This is Isaac.
[2:08] This is Becky, the wife of Isaac.
[2:15] For information, he's a married man.
[2:16] He's just an example. This is Esau.
[2:22] This is no, this is Jacob because he's in black and this
[2:28] is Esau. Please pay attention to this
[2:31] because your life will change forever.
[2:34] So these are the four characters in the Bible.
[2:38] And the Bible spoke about Isaac being a father, Rebecca being a
[2:45] mother who was barring. And the Bible says Isaac
[2:52] entreated on the Lord concerning her barriness and the Lord.
[2:56] Hand his cry. And give Rebecca a set of twins.
[3:04] But there was a contention and a wrestling that took place in her
[3:09] womb, and she went to inquire of God.
[3:13] Now they should tell us that anytime you begin to experience
[3:15] any kind of contention, you got to what?
[3:18] Inquire from God. Learn to go to God.
[3:21] That was what the Bible people knew what to do.
[3:25] You go to God anytime there's contention, anytime there's
[3:28] stabulance in your life, you go to God and seek his face.
[3:31] And that is exactly what she did.
[3:34] And God spoke and said there are two nations in your womb.
[3:41] And the Bible says that there was a prophecy that the younger
[3:47] shall be stronger than the older, and the older shall
[3:52] serve. The younger are you here with
[3:56] me? So he came to time that Rebecca
[4:03] gave. Birth to these.
[4:04] Children and the Bible says that Esau came out first.
[4:09] Observe, when Esau came out, there were two things that
[4:14] characterized the Esau. One was that Esau was read.
[4:20] The second thing was that Esau was so hairy like that of an
[4:25] animal. But when Esau was birth they
[4:33] realized that the one that was to come second hand held the
[4:38] heels of his brother. Then immediately he was named
[4:44] Jacob, and the word Jacob means supplanter. #2 deceiver #3 one
[4:52] who takes what doesn't belong to him.
[4:56] Actually, he was a fraud boy. He was a scammer.
[5:01] He was a fraudster. Are you with me?
[5:07] He was a Yahoo. Boy.
[5:10] Are you paying attention to this?
[5:14] So the Bible tells us that one day.
[5:18] In fact, the Bible. Says Esau was Jacob only dwelt
[5:25] in the tents. That's his job.
[5:28] He only lived in the tents. And Esau was a gani, or skillful
[5:34] hunter. So one time he came back and he
[5:40] realized he was very. Hungry.
[5:43] And at that time Jacob was preparing some belief it was
[5:46] bees. Some believe it was important
[5:49] portal because actually in the in the Hebrew it is a kind of
[5:52] pudding. It's called pottage.
[5:58] So it's either. Being Stew or important portal
[6:00] one of them. But the Hebrew also calls it
[6:03] soup, so whichever way it is, there was a pudding.
[6:09] Are you here with me? So at that time you had prepared
[6:13] it very well, nicely. And Esau was very hungry.
[6:18] In fact, the Bible says when you read no, when you read the
[6:21] autism and pay attention to the words in him, he was hungry to
[6:25] the point of death. And that's a very important word
[6:28] to note there. So he asked his brother Jacob to
[6:33] give him some of the food to eat.
[6:36] And his brother said to him, give me this day your
[6:41] birthright. Very important.
[6:43] Thing to note in this teaching, give me your best right and I'll
[6:49] give you food. I know we've insulted Esau.
[6:52] We've spoken a whole lot about Esau.
[6:54] But by the time you're done with the teaching, you realize that
[6:56] God was actually in the midst of Esau's mistake.
[7:00] God was communicating something deeper than Esau himself.
[7:06] Then Esau said, what is my best right to me?
[7:11] I've given you my best right now.
[7:13] Bet right means the right of a first born.
[7:18] Now what? The right of a first born?
[7:24] Then Jacob gave him the food. The Bible says he did not know
[7:28] that he had despised his bet right by handing it over.
[7:35] So it got to a time Isaac was blind.
[7:39] He was about dying and he spoke to Esau, his first born, and
[7:46] said get me best meal, get me a venison.
[7:52] When I speak of I'm talking about light soup with meat.
[7:59] That's his favorite food. He says get that meal for me,
[8:04] let me eat, replenish my soul so I can bless you before I depart.
[8:09] But what happened was that Rebecca had a conversation.
[8:16] Remember Rebecca was the wife of Isaac and remember that a wife
[8:22] is a helper. So the.
[8:29] Bible tells us that Isaac loved his song because.
[8:38] Of his venison. But the Bible says Rebecca loved
[8:42] Jacob. There was no reason, so she
[8:48] decided to ensure that the transaction will change.
[8:55] So the very same animals that Isha was going to look for in
[8:59] the Bush, they were in the same house.
[9:02] And Rebecca skillfully prepared the soup the way the father
[9:08] loves it. But make sure that the skin of
[9:12] the animal was not used for the food.
[9:17] Because remember, Esau was very what Harry, so he used the skin
[9:24] of the the two goats, in fact two kids.
[9:27] So he used the skin of the goat to cover the hands and the feet
[9:40] of Jacob, so that pay attention, so that Jacob will go into the
[9:46] presence of Isaac as Esau for the blessing.
[9:56] And the Bible Secondly also said that Rebecca took the clothes of
[10:02] Esau, which means he sent and everything is in it, and he puts
[10:07] the dress on Jacob. And Jacob went into the presence
[10:12] of his father in the person of Esau.
[10:18] His father had the voice as Jacob, but felt the body as
[10:23] Esau. So he says.
[10:26] Is this not the voice of Jacob I'm hearing?
[10:29] But yet I feel the body of Esau. Nevertheless, after he had
[10:33] finished eating because he was blind, he blessed Jacob as well
[10:40] as Israel, and that day Jacob left with a blessing.
[10:46] The moment he left, Isha also came with the food, but it was
[10:50] too late and he started crying. So two things happened.
[10:56] Jacob took the bed right then he took the Don't forget that too.
[11:04] So Esau was filled with hatred and decided to kill Jacob and
[11:09] Jacob ran. Are you following this from that
[11:15] time? Joseph in fact rides from his
[11:19] infancy. He was cheating.
[11:23] He wanted to actually come first before his brother tricked his
[11:28] brother to give him his birthright because of his
[11:29] hunger. Connect with his mother or
[11:32] conspire with his mother to take the blessing.
[11:35] He ran from there, tricked a man he went to stay with, called
[11:40] Lebanon Lebanon and found a way of making more flock.
[11:45] From Lebanon than labour himself.
[11:56] So as the more he was moving, he was advancing in the scamming
[12:00] process. But observe this the best rights
[12:04] and the blessing was still upon him.
[12:08] He became so. Wealthy and so powerful.
[12:13] And one day God told him to leave his father's house.
[12:15] Leave Laban's house to the place he promised him.
[12:19] So he had to go. Through the place where he was
[12:24] going to beat Israel and he was afraid.
[12:27] So do you know what he did? He tricked Esau again by sending
[12:32] his wives ahead of him and his children ahead of him and plenty
[12:37] gifts so that if he can. Call.
[12:40] Esau with the gifts. Esau will not kill him.
[12:46] What is common? Pay attention.
[12:52] The night before, he met Esau. The Bible says in Genesis
[12:57] chapter 32 that he wrestled with an Angel.
[13:02] No, it was not the Angel that wrestled with him.
[13:04] He wrestled with the Angel and he wrestled onto Daybreak.
[13:11] And because there are protocols and spiritual laws, the Angel
[13:16] realized the time was up. He could not prevail as a man,
[13:21] and he dislocated his hip joint. I wouldn't explain everything.
[13:29] And when he dislocated his hip joint, he realized the guy
[13:32] couldn't give up. He says, what do you want?
[13:34] He says, look, if you don't bless me, I'll let you go.
[13:39] He says, what is your name? He says my name is Jacob.
[13:41] He says your name will no longer be called Jacob.
[13:46] Your name shall be called. Kindly just shouting, your name
[13:50] shall be called for as a priest you have wrestled with God and
[13:56] has prevailed. Now questioning in the fight who
[13:59] prevailed? Actually the Angel because it
[14:05] was his hip that was dislocated, but the Bible says he prevailed.
[14:11] He was wounded by the Angel, but that was how he prevailed and
[14:17] the Bible says after the Angel left.
[14:21] From that day forward, is that Olympic?
[14:30] According to medical science, anytime you have a dislocated
[14:36] joint within 6 to 8 hours, if you don't treat it, it will turn
[14:42] into a complicated medical condition called a vascular
[14:46] necrosis. And this.
[14:57] Problem happens in a sense that blast circulation is not able to
[15:06] enter into the socket ball that connects to the hip.
[15:11] I think I I sent a picture for you to send it there and the
[15:15] moment it is not treated. So you see that, you see that.
[15:19] So that ball you are seeing there, when it is not treated
[15:23] between 6:00 to 8:00 hours, blood that flows to keep the
[15:29] place lubricated dies. And the moment the blood stops
[15:37] flowing from there, it dies. Three things will happen to the
[15:40] victim #1 your you have one leg shorter than the other #2 you
[15:49] will go through chronic pain for the rest of your life, and #3
[15:55] you will become a disabled person for the rest of your
[15:57] life. Your legs will be disabled.
[16:01] For your information, there was no medical aid that was given to
[16:04] Jacob, so the three things happened to him, it's believed.
[16:07] So Jacob left that wrestle with three.
[16:14] Problems one leg shorter than the other.
[16:19] Chronic pain and disability all his life.
[16:26] Yet after that encounter, 10 things changed about Jacob.
[16:32] That's what I want to teach you. We thought that he wrestled with
[16:45] an Angel until he finished and said I have seen God face to
[16:49] face and I still leave. He called the peace Peniel,
[16:54] which means the Angel we thought he saw was God.
[16:59] So it was God he wrestled. Now let me decode everything
[17:06] I've said. Are you blessed at all?
[17:13] You're getting something from here.
[17:15] OK, can we see that? I realize you're tired.
[17:20] Now pay attention. I mentioned 4 characters.
[17:24] Who was the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th? Now here the order according to
[17:35] the message of Christ. The order according to the
[17:39] message of Christ. In other words, in typology they
[17:43] were representing something bigger than themselves.
[17:46] Forget about the mistake of the selfishness of Esau and all
[17:49] that. Isaac was representing the
[17:51] Father. Rebecca was the helper of Isaac,
[17:58] representing the Holy Spirit, who is her helper.
[18:03] Jacob was representing us because.
[18:06] We were the deceivers in our sin.
[18:09] Are you following me? Then Esau was representing
[18:14] Christ. Remember Esau was the first born
[18:22] in the book of Colossians 115 and 16.
[18:25] You will notice the Bible calls Jesus Christ the first born of
[18:30] every creature. So Esau was the first born
[18:37] representing Jesus Christ and the Bible says he was red.
[18:41] Red signifies redemption, and he was Harry, the Lamb of God.
[18:52] So remember, John saw him and he said, behold the Lamb of God
[18:56] that taketh away the sins of the world.
[18:58] Are you following this at all? So the Bible tells us that as
[19:02] they grew, one time Esau was a skillful hunter.
[19:06] He came home hungry to the point of death, and his brother was
[19:12] preparing a pot of steel or soup or whatever it is, and he
[19:16] requested for the soup and there was a transaction.
[19:20] And in that transaction, Esau sold or gave out his bet, right?
[19:28] Remember it happened. The exchange happened because he
[19:31] was hungry to the point of death.
[19:34] Remember in the book of John chapter 4, Jesus had an
[19:38] encounter. With a woman at the well and
[19:41] after the encounter, remember. He was very hungry.
[19:45] After the encounter, the disciples brought food and he
[19:48] was not interested and they asked him why.
[19:51] He says I have food that you don't know of my food or my meat
[19:57] is to what do the will of God? What was the will of God to die?
[20:02] So Esau was hungry to the point of death.
[20:06] Jesus was hungry for death. So Esau sold his birthright to
[20:26] Jacob. Do you know that through the
[20:29] redeemed work of Jesus, he actually gave us his birthright?
[20:35] Remember we said birthright means the right of the first
[20:39] born. And the Bible tells us in the
[20:42] book of John chapter 1 and verse 12, he says that as many as
[20:46] believed in him, to them he gave what power?
[20:49] The word power is right to become the sons of God.
[20:56] So through the work of Jesus Christ, Jesus gave us deceive us
[21:03] the right of first bones. So Jesus gave us his best,
[21:08] right? Through the cross.
[21:13] The second thing to note was that after taking the bet right,
[21:19] there was a requirement to. Take the blessing and what
[21:23] happened was that Isaac, who was the father was to release the
[21:26] blessing and Rebecca the Spirit had the conversation because the
[21:31] spirit such as all things. So the Spirit decided that he
[21:40] was going to do a great work so we can.
[21:42] Have the blessing. So this is what he did.
[21:45] He killed 2 goats in the book of Leviticus 16.
[21:49] For atonement to be done, they needed two goats, the lost goat
[21:54] and the escape goat. They killed the scapegoat and
[21:58] then they lay hands of the Seas of the nation upon the lost
[22:02] goat. And a strongman carries the goat
[22:05] outside into a fireplace, and an animal's catches that animal to.
[22:10] Represent that the scapegoat took.
[22:14] Received the sin or became sin, and then the last goat that was
[22:18] taken from afar was to represent that sin will be taken afar from
[22:22] the nation. So the two goats that Rebecca
[22:27] sacrificed was only a type of Christ in His redemptive work.
[22:31] And remember, He puts the skin of the goats on the body.
[22:36] Of who? Of Jacob to enter into the
[22:40] presence of his Father, as who is so.
[22:43] So the skin of the animal and the remains of the garment of
[22:47] Esau was given to Jacob to enter into his Father's presence for
[22:53] the blessing. The redemptive work of Jesus did
[22:56] a work for us, so that today when we appear in the presence
[23:00] of God, God will bless us as Christ and not as us.
[23:05] Do you? Understand what I'm saying?
[23:08] Which is why any the time a believer enters the presence of
[23:12] God with his own ability, he leaves a disability.
[23:19] There is nothing about you that is acceptable.
[23:24] The only reason why God accepts you is because he sees you as
[23:29] Christ. We go to God in the remains
[23:33] righteousness. In the skin, the work of Jesus,
[23:39] because for this for the skin of an animal to be used, it means
[23:43] an innocent animal had to be sacrificed.
[23:47] So when he entered into the presence of Isaac, he went as
[23:51] his. So when we go into the presence
[23:53] of God because of what Christ has done, we enter in the name
[23:57] of Jesus. Look.
[24:03] So when he entered into the. Presence of Isaac and Isaac felt
[24:07] him, he felt easel. When we go into the presence of
[24:11] God and God fills us, he fills Christ.
[24:19] That's why God can't deny you, because you are not in a good
[24:25] skin. Oh, you are in a person.
[24:27] So the Bible says you have put on Christ when you are baptizing
[24:30] him. Now this is a serious matter.
[24:34] So look at the transaction going on here.
[24:38] Isaac blessed Esau. Sorry, Isaac, blessed Jacob as
[24:44] Esau. And if you check all the
[24:47] blessings he released, it's actually a blessing that we have
[24:51] in the New Testament for information.
[24:56] The best right Isaac, the best right is or give to Jacob was
[25:01] the right to be a son of God and the blessings that he took from
[25:06] Isaac was the blessings of the Father.
[25:09] Remember in Ephesians chapter 1 the verse 3, the Bible says
[25:12] blessed be God. Who has what?
[25:14] Blessed us with our spiritual blessings.
[25:18] That was it. We took it from Christ.
[25:21] What? Was that spiritual blessing?
[25:23] He says He chose us in Him before the foundations of the
[25:26] world, that we should be holy and without blame.
[25:28] What is that blessing in whom we have redemption through His
[25:31] blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His
[25:35] grace, wherein He has made to abound towards us.
[25:37] So all the blessings in Ephesians 1/3 was the blessing
[25:40] we took from the Father in the name of Jesus.
[25:43] What? Is the blessing galatians
[25:45] chapter 3 the verse 14 the Bible says that the blessings of
[25:50] Abraham might come on the gentiles through.
[25:54] Jesus, just like it was through his song that we might receive
[25:59] what the promise of the Spirit, so the blessing receive was
[26:03] what? The Holy Ghost, are you
[26:12] following me here at all? So each Son left with a
[26:17] blessing. Our blessing is the Holy Spirit.
[26:20] And the good news is that the card you are looking for is in
[26:24] Him. The job is in the Holy Ghost.
[26:30] That physical blessing you're looking for is in the Holy
[26:32] Ghost. So you will notice that Jacob
[26:38] went threatening run from his father's house.
[26:40] He ran away not even with a cow or with a donkey.
[26:44] He didn't go with any physical possession, but he went with a
[26:47] blessing. You may be a believer seated
[26:49] here. You may not have a guy, may not
[26:51] have a house, but there is something that is in you that
[26:54] nobody can see. It's called the Holy Spirit.
[27:02] That is the blessing that you carry.
[27:05] So look, the greatest blessing a believer can carry is the person
[27:09] of the Holy Ghost. That's your blessing.
[27:12] So when a believer is saying I'm blessed, don't look at the car
[27:17] when you say I'm blessed. Don't first look at the house
[27:21] when you say I'm blessed. Look at the presence and the
[27:24] indwelling power of the Holy Ghost tabernacling inside you
[27:27] forever. I'm teaching you here, man.
[27:32] The Holy Ghost is the blessing. Are you learning?
[27:43] So he left with the bed, right? And he left with the blessing,
[27:51] you hear? So I told you that though the
[27:58] blessing was still there, his weakness was today.
[28:02] He was not righteous, the righteousness of God in Christ.
[28:07] He was blessed with the presence of the Holy Ghost.
[28:11] He was chosen by God just like us.
[28:14] But the challenge was that he was not transformed.
[28:18] So though he left with a blessing, he was still a cold
[28:20] man. That is our state as Christians.
[28:24] Have you noticed that God after saving you, your weaknesses are
[28:29] still there, but the blessing is still there.
[28:30] Are you here with me? You can tell a lie, yet you are
[28:36] still the righteousness of God. That's the concept here.
[28:39] The blessing is on you, but the weakness is still there.
[28:43] The blessing is on you, but the own transformed life is still
[28:48] there. The blessing is on you, but the
[28:50] fear, the anger is still there. The blessing is on you, but the
[28:54] for all forgiveness and bitterness is still there.
[28:56] So Jacob was blessed, but. Still a deceiver.
[29:05] Are you with me? So there was a second work that
[29:11] needed to be done. On Jacob called transformation
[29:21] and the transformation involved wounds.
[29:35] So after the encounter something happened to him.
[29:41] The way he walked into that fight was not the same way he
[29:46] walked after. So the first thing that affected
[29:53] him was his work. Look, the first thing God is
[30:00] looking for is your work with Him.
[30:11] Are you paying attention to me? So after that encounter and that
[30:16] wrestle, we need to understand that the wrestling contest
[30:22] between God and Jacob is the wrestling context between the
[30:27] believer and the Holy Spirit. After you are born again, you
[30:35] are blessed, you have made the righteousness of God, you are
[30:38] forgiven, you are justified by faith.
[30:40] But have you noticed the first work that was done was not done
[30:44] by Jacob, It was done by Rebecca.
[30:48] He didn't do anything. Came to him but in the second
[30:54] work, which. Was the work of transformation.
[30:59] It was Jacob that initiated the wrestling.
[31:05] Are you here with me at all? It was Jacob that initiated the
[31:10] wrestling with the Angel, actually with God.
[31:15] We need to understand that in the work of transformation, we
[31:19] initiate the fight. God wants to wrestle with.
[31:30] Us so that we can be transformed.
[31:35] So guess what? In the wrestling, one person got
[31:39] wounded. It wasn't God, it was Jacob.
[31:45] But that wound was his breakthrough.
[31:50] That wound was his murder. Look, Christianity is a life of
[31:58] wounds. If God has never wounded you
[32:03] before, you have not started a work with God.
[32:10] Many Christians don't understand that they are wounds for
[32:13] transformation. So after he had the wound, I
[32:20] explained to you three things happened to him medically.
[32:26] I told you that he began to experience one leg shorter than
[32:29] the other. You remember what again?
[32:33] He had chronic pain for the rest of his life and #3 he became
[32:40] disabled. The guy entered the context like
[32:47] this. He came out like this.
[32:54] You enter Christ like this, you will come out like this.
[33:01] But you see that that. New work is the evidence of your
[33:07] transformation. God who hurts you?
[33:13] Don't do people for me. God who hurts you to change you
[33:20] one more time. God will hurt you to change you
[33:30] so. Mr. Sam is giving a revelation
[33:32] at the back there. I can't hear him.
[33:35] If you don't want to get. Hurt don't follow God.
[33:42] Oh, can I give an example? Somebody offended you and the
[33:47] Holocaust says you will apologize.
[33:57] Your husband annoyed you and the Holocaust says you go and say
[34:00] sorry. Do you know what that means?
[34:05] You have been wounded. That wound, it's not the wound
[34:18] you're thinking about. So at that time, in your mind,
[34:22] you wanted to revenge. At that time you wanted to do
[34:24] something crazy. And then the Holy Ghost started
[34:27] speaking to your soul. That speaking is wrestling.
[34:33] That's why you feel discomfort. It's like.
[34:36] You want to do. Something the Holy Ghost is
[34:38] preventing you from doing it. That prevention is wrestling so
[34:41] inwardly. What happened to Jacob inwardly
[34:45] outwardly is what happens to us inwardly.
[34:52] So every sensation, every impression you begin to fill
[34:56] your dealings with God is a wrestling.
[35:01] Anytime. Look, in the context, it was God
[35:05] that took off. His hollow tie.
[35:09] But they said he won, which means if you allow God to defeat
[35:14] you, that's how you can win. You don't get this thing.
[35:20] Some of you understand this message 10 years from now.
[35:25] So at that time, if the Holy Ghost says sorry, it's going to
[35:29] be difficult. So there is a contention, there
[35:31] is a wrestling. The moment you do that, God,
[35:37] God. Defeats you, but you won't.
[35:43] My son is here. I was there at around 1:00 or
[35:47] something and he told me that he doesn't know.
[35:50] He finished praying. The Holy Ghost said he should
[35:52] empty everything in his Momo account and send it to me.
[35:55] What a blessing. I said send it, he said.
[36:04] That is everything I have. But the Lord said I should send
[36:08] it to you. So at that time he said he was
[36:11] contemplating how you get for how you eat, how you bath.
[36:15] So that was the wrestling. Then the Lord wounded him.
[36:24] And he knew that God at one the moment he sent it.
[36:28] Today he's sharing with me a testimony.
[36:29] A woman from outside the country said, next year, look, listen
[36:34] before you clap, Next year they are getting him a plot of land.
[36:38] And the one said I am building the whole auditorium by myself.
[36:46] Now I want to ask you a question.
[36:47] I want to ask you a question in the context he was defeated.
[36:52] But who won? God.
[36:57] Defeated him, but in the end he prevailed, which is why says
[37:02] your name shall be called Israel.
[37:04] For as a Prince thou has wrestled with God, and you have
[37:07] prevailed. Meanwhile, he lost his hollow
[37:10] time, but that was how he prevailed.
[37:12] Look, let God defeat you. Let him hurt you.
[37:15] Let him wound you. That's how you get your medals
[37:19] in the Spirit. So then things happen to.
[37:27] Jacob after that wound. That's the whole teaching.
[37:35] The first thing that happened to Jacob #1 after the wound was
[37:39] that his work was never the same for the rest of his life.
[37:47] Have you noticed there is no problem with you living in the
[37:49] Spirit? So the book of Galatians chapter
[37:52] 5, the Bible says in verse 24, he says if you live in the
[37:56] Spirit, then walk in the Spirit. So living in the Spirit is not
[38:03] your problem. The problem about the believer
[38:08] is walking in the Spirit. So the only issue God has with
[38:12] you now is your work. So remember, Jacob had the
[38:19] blessing and the best right? But there was still weakness.
[38:24] He was still a deceiver. You can be a child of God, the
[38:28] righteousness of God, but there is something inside you called
[38:31] flesh. And that is your weakness.
[38:36] So you see, you will find a believer who is a Tom talking
[38:39] believer. But there is something about him
[38:42] that is a problem. There is something about him
[38:45] that doesn't bring glory to God. So The thing is that you must
[38:48] recognize and go to the wrestling ring with God.
[38:54] God does not initiate the wrestling.
[38:56] You do. I'm teaching well here, so the
[39:05] first thing that happened to him was his work.
[39:07] So look, when he came out from the contest as a winner, this
[39:17] was how he was working. Everybody in the area watched
[39:21] him. It looks like an embarrassment,
[39:25] but he was still victory. I remember when I did my 40 days
[39:28] on water, when I came back in the whole area, when I'm going
[39:31] to buy porridge, everybody's watching me.
[39:33] This was how I was working. But I was a victorious man.
[39:42] God will instruct you to do things that will make you work
[39:44] like this. He will tamper with you.
[39:49] This is how your work is going to be.
[39:51] You won't be happy for three months, all your salaries going
[39:53] to the work of God. You don't be a happy man.
[39:56] This is how you're working. But that's how you win.
[40:02] That's how you win. Look, if you really want to walk
[40:06] with God, you will stop something.
[40:10] If you really want to walk with God, you do what you will Leave
[40:13] someone's husband. That's it.
[40:17] It's very painful. He's the one paying your school
[40:18] fees. So when he's paying your fees,
[40:21] that's how you're working. He's buying your iPhone for you.
[40:26] That's how you're working. He has bought air conditioning
[40:30] your room. This is how you're working.
[40:32] But he's someone's husband. He entered into a confidant with
[40:36] someone. And as you heard this message,
[40:38] the Holy Ghost has started wrestling.
[40:42] The moment the Holy Ghost wings, what is going to happen is I
[40:44] start Pickering yourself walking like this because you are now
[40:46] all alone. The man can't help you delete
[40:48] his number. Now you'll be wondering, Lord,
[40:51] how will I survive? Before you met the man, how did
[40:55] you survive? I'm asking you, before you met
[40:59] that man, how did you survive? So when you leave that man, you
[41:05] look like this, helpless, useless.
[41:09] But look, that's how you win. Because you see, when his work
[41:14] changed, it became evident. Everybody saw that his work had
[41:20] changed. The same way he went was not the
[41:23] same way he came. And we need to understand that
[41:27] when God does that wounding process, it will affect your
[41:31] work and everybody will see it. Everybody will see it.
[41:40] Everybody will see it because it is evident and for the
[41:44] information. That disability, that chronic
[41:48] pain and that dislocation remain within forever was with him.
[41:53] So anytime he feels the pain and remembers the encounter, anytime
[41:59] he sees his legs shorter than the other, he remember his
[42:03] wrestling with God. Anytime he begins to feel the
[42:06] disability that is on him, it reminds him about the road that
[42:14] God gave him to transform him. Look.
[42:17] The transformation God wants to do with you and in you, it's a
[42:21] transformation He wants to remain forever as a memory.
[42:26] There are some things I can't ever forget.
[42:31] Years ago, when I was under the power of pornography and that
[42:36] power, through the power, the Holy Spirit came upon me.
[42:39] I remember the CDs in my wardrobe.
[42:41] I took them and I broke them and part of the CD cuts my hand.
[42:45] I can't forget it. It was the scar of my
[42:48] transformation. I said you will stop something
[42:54] if you walk with God. You will stop.
[42:58] Something, if you want to walk with God, you will stop
[43:01] something. Tell somebody you will stop
[43:02] something, yes. So the first thing was that his
[43:11] work was affected. His work was affected.
[43:21] He began to walk in the Spirit. To walk in the Spirit means to
[43:25] walk in alignment with God. To walk in the Spirit means to
[43:31] subject your thoughts and anything that comes to your mind
[43:35] to the guiding influence of the Holy Spirit.
[43:38] I'm wondering, some people are wondering, how do I walk in the
[43:41] Spirit? That's what I'm teaching you.
[43:42] It means to subject your thoughts and everything that
[43:45] comes into your mind to the guiding influence of the Holy
[43:49] Spirit. When the thought comes to
[43:51] fornicate, you have to subject that thoughts to the influence
[43:54] of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, is this thought
[43:57] genuine for me? The response and the feedback
[44:00] you get from that thought. When you react according in
[44:04] accordance to the Word of God, you are working in the Spirit.
[44:16] Yeah, me. If your work has not changed,
[44:19] God hasn't changed yet. When I speak of your work, I'm
[44:24] talking of your Christian experience, everything about it,
[44:27] the way you talk, the way you feel.
[44:32] The way you behave is part of your work.
[44:36] It changed. The second thing that happened
[44:39] to Jacob was that from that time.
[44:44] He started working with the stuff because you cannot work
[44:47] like this and not get tired. You cannot work like that and
[44:53] move in your own strength, in your own capacity.
[44:59] In Hebrews Chapter 11, the verse 21, we're going to see that he
[45:03] worked with the stuff all the days of his life.
[45:05] He even died on the stuff. Hebrews 11/21.
[45:10] He died on top of his staff. The Bible says by faith, Jacob,
[45:14] when he was dying, blessed both the sons of Jacob and worshipped
[45:19] leaning upon the top of his staff, which meant that after
[45:25] the encounter he had to have a dead aid.
[45:31] He had to have a foreign aid because his tolux was not enough
[45:37] to sustain his journey. And the Bible says his rod and
[45:43] his stuff, they comfort me. So that stuff was representing
[45:46] the power of God. So now Jacob had to now learn to
[45:52] lean on God's power. To be able to walk for the rest
[45:57] of his life, that was absolute dependence and faith.
[46:04] When you are wounded by God, you will learn to depend on God.
[46:10] Some of you here are wondering how am I going to pay my
[46:12] children's school fees by faith? How am I going to do my masters
[46:19] by faith? Look, don't cut cornets to the
[46:23] things. One of my sons told me that
[46:27] somebody entered into his church and told him that they are fraud
[46:30] boys. He wants to tell him play me.
[46:32] They want to pass about 3 or $400,000 to the church account.
[46:39] So that they can give him his card and there was no money.
[46:46] He was almost confused. He wanted to say yes because
[46:50] nobody would know it. Don't give him about 20 or 30%.
[46:55] That means about 15100 and $50,000.
[46:58] Do you know what that money can do to your ministry?
[47:05] Immediately that offer came, there was a wrestling and the
[47:11] Lord defeated him. He looked at these guys and tell
[47:14] them I don't want it. You can go.
[47:15] They said we've we've done it with a lot of churches.
[47:18] There's a number of times you can do it.
[47:19] You can't do it beyond that number.
[47:20] So we want to change it. This is the wrong wanted.
[47:26] God has met all his needs because that's how he won.
[47:32] If you can learn as a child of God to depend on see Build your
[47:36] faith when you're younger. The reason why building your
[47:41] faith is very important is because there is a time your
[47:45] logic cannot save you. There is a time your links
[47:50] cannot save you. There is a time your drags
[47:53] cannot save you. There is a time your connections
[47:57] cannot save you. The people you know cannot save
[47:58] you. That's what we call the evil day
[48:01] in the book of Ephesians chapter 6.
[48:03] When the Bible says put on the home of God, I'll be able to
[48:05] restart in the evil day. The evil day is when your links
[48:07] cannot save you, your strength cannot save you, your money
[48:09] cannot save you, your house cannot save you, your property
[48:12] cannot save you. That's the evil day.
[48:18] I'm teaching guru. That's the evil day.
[48:21] So look, build your faith when you have the capacity learn to
[48:27] trust God for provisions for almost 9 years I've never worked
[48:34] in any company when the Lord told me to come on full time.
[48:37] If I tell you how God takes care of me, it's a mystery.
[48:40] It's a mystery I myself I'm yet to understand.
[48:44] Look most of the big big products are doing I do it with
[48:47] my money. I'm telling you this has since
[48:49] people so into my life and I give it back to God.
[48:55] I give it back to God. Ask me as a full time pastor,
[48:58] how do you survive? I I have learnt to depend on
[49:01] God. I'm the highest giver in this
[49:06] church as far as this church is concerned and I'll remain the
[49:09] highest giver. Unto Jesus comes.
[49:11] You better go and pray against it.
[49:12] But don't work. No, I'm telling you from this
[49:15] year I have learnt to trust God. Were there tough times?
[49:21] Yes. Other times there's no money,
[49:23] yes. But I've learnt to trust God.
[49:27] That's what Jacob did. Jacob leaned on the stuff.
[49:31] Some of you just easily give up. Some of you just easily
[49:35] compromise. How will I survive when God is
[49:38] saying no, I am with you always. What is this Castro cast
[49:42] embodies on to me? Look, build your faith.
[49:46] I said what? Build your faith.
[49:49] I'm telling you it was the building projects that helped me
[49:52] in the building of my faith. A background with no help.
[49:57] You start a project with 8000 Ghana cities with no help, no
[50:01] promise from anybody. That I will do this for you.
[50:04] We just started anyway. Trust in God that's leading on
[50:09] the staff. Some of you like complaining.
[50:13] You complain every time you're doing something.
[50:15] How we get Laurifer that life will help you.
[50:19] You will never get a refer if you build your faith.
[50:23] You realize that you'll be flowing in a certain dimension.
[50:26] That's what complaints will never survive.
[50:31] It's difficult to serve God in this nowadays.
[50:32] How can we make it look? Faith.
[50:35] I said what faith you will learn to depend on God, that sometimes
[50:42] God will tell you to empty your account for somebody.
[50:45] It's not because God needs your money.
[50:47] He does not need it. We will read, we will read in
[50:49] the end that by the time Jacob met Esau, Esau was even better
[50:55] than him. Because remember I told you that
[50:58] Esau was a type of who Christ by the time he left.
[51:02] So when he met him, it was actually the resurrection of
[51:05] Jesus Christ. Do you remember in the prophecy
[51:07] he says the young shall serve? Who the old By the time he ended
[51:12] up, he was the one bowing down to his own.
[51:18] I'll be teaching you why very soon.
[51:20] So you will learn to absolutely depend on God.
[51:24] You see, the bamboo says, For without faith it's impossible to
[51:27] please God, for he that cometh to God must believe that He is,
[51:31] and that He's the rewarder of them that didn't gently seek
[51:34] Him. There was a time I was tempted
[51:37] to go and take a loan because the loan will wipe away all the
[51:41] tears. But now we have to take our time
[51:43] and have a plan. But I realize that anything can
[51:47] happen. I said, pastor, you can't get
[51:49] sick. And for maybe three or four
[51:51] months, that was the time I got sick here.
[51:52] You remember I said that four months I was not coming to
[51:54] church. So what if I took the loan check
[51:57] attendance came down, There's no money to pay.
[51:59] What's going to happen? They will take the building from
[52:01] us. That's why I said.
[52:03] Don't always take the easy path. When you start building your
[52:10] feet, it is very gradual. I trust God for shoe.
[52:14] I trust God for clothes. I trust God for food.
[52:18] Sometimes God knows before you realize rice is finishing.
[52:21] Somebody brings us full rice. Sometimes this is finishing
[52:26] before I realize. Look, I started building my
[52:29] faith because I knew that I can't depend on any human being.
[52:32] God must help me and said, I don't know how people know I
[52:35] need money. I can't explain, but I'm telling
[52:38] you, he's a work and a work of faith.
[52:41] He had to learn to. Lean on his stuff.
[52:44] In the Old Testament, there were three groups of people who held
[52:47] the stuff. Number one was the shepherd.
[52:52] Number 2 was the traveler #3 was the leader.
[52:59] So leaders were holding stuff, shepherds were holding stuff,
[53:03] travelers were holding stuff. The.
[53:07] Shepherds held their. Staff to bring guidelines to the
[53:11] flock the. Traveler.
[53:14] Help their staff for support and stability and the Trump and the
[53:20] leader help their staff for authority and power.
[53:24] I repeat myself again. The shepherd help staff for
[53:31] what? For guidance?
[53:37] The traveler help the staff for what?
[53:40] For support and stability and the leader held the staff for
[53:44] what? For what?
[53:46] I can't hear you. Please can you say it louder?
[53:48] For what authority and power? And remember, Jacob had to lean
[53:52] on his staff. Which means that when God is
[53:56] done wounding you, you will learn to lean on God for your
[54:00] guidance, for your support and stability, and for your
[54:06] authority. You will lean on God's power.
[54:11] You will lean on God's authority.
[54:12] You will lean on God's guidance. You will lean.
[54:16] On God's support, Look, your salary can't take care of you
[54:22] that 1005, it can't take care of you.
[54:25] You will need something bigger than that.
[54:26] It's called faith, learning to live on God.
[54:30] I've seen matters who built a house selling tomatoes and here
[54:37] you are worried about your future.
[54:41] There is nobody who put his hope and trust in God that was
[54:46] disappointed. A lot of young ladies here
[54:49] listen to me. You don't need a man to make you
[54:51] who you are. Did you hear me?
[54:54] I said what? You don't need a man to make you
[54:57] who you are. And so I wonder how certain
[55:01] ladies are. They're believing God for a man
[55:05] who's already established to come and marry them and take
[55:07] them to your house. What kind of myopic?
[55:09] Thinking is this soft life, so you went to school to finish
[55:19] school. Believing of a man with already
[55:22] made car, he has already started his building project, building a
[55:28] three bedroom self compound. They come and say I love you.
[55:33] He says I accept you, let's move on.
[55:38] So question, why do you have to think this way?
[55:42] So can the man not come into your life and realize you
[55:45] already have two plots? Also the women are not rejoicing
[55:52] because a new plans move. A new plans move.
[55:57] It's not part of a plan. But I tell the man, come, comes,
[56:01] you are doing your business already.
[56:05] My wife taught me a lesson. There are things I want to do.
[56:08] I tell her I'll do it later before I realize she's going to
[56:12] do it. She said let's buy this for the
[56:14] children. I said no, I'm doing a project,
[56:15] we'll buy it later before I realize she has bought it.
[56:17] You know why? She's making her own money.
[56:20] Please, women, make your own money.
[56:23] I said what? Make your own money your husband
[56:26] will respect. You for the rest of your life.
[56:31] So depend on God. And not your husband, depend on
[56:38] God and not your boss. This teacher I'm teaching is
[56:43] priceless. Oh, I'm telling you, don't joke
[56:45] with what I'm teaching you. Seriously.
[56:52] So he had to learn to trust God. So there was working because if
[57:03] he doesn't lean on the stuff, he'll be affected, he'll be
[57:05] tired. Look, some of you get tired
[57:08] though because you are walking alone.
[57:11] Some of you get tired because you are using your strength to
[57:14] boot those way the way you you are using all your connection.
[57:17] Haven't you realized it's not working?
[57:21] Go into. The Chamber of God and Christ
[57:23] and Lord, I don't know how we eat today, but the word has
[57:27] declared that we should cast our case and bodies unto you.
[57:32] You should be anxious for nothing, but in everything by
[57:34] prayer and supplication. Let my request be known to you.
[57:38] But thanks given. And the peace of God that
[57:40] transcends on astonish a God. So if you're not having peace,
[57:43] it means you are not praying. I'm telling you it means you're
[57:47] not. Praying.
[57:49] You're not praying. These are the.
[57:51] Secrets. The Old Testament people knew
[57:53] that we don't know. We cry about everything.
[57:56] We don't put money in our pocket.
[57:57] We cry. I had to live that life long
[57:59] ago. I had to drop it.
[58:03] I'm worried I'm becoming emotional.
[58:04] So I've served you, Lord, I've served you for the past 20
[58:06] something years. You are.
[58:07] I'm not seeing any evidence in my life.
[58:10] I lived that life long ago. It's for babies.
[58:15] It's for babies. The only time you complain that
[58:19] Lord, I've served you for the past 15 years, nothing is.
[58:22] It's only when you are broke, It's only when you're broke,
[58:25] that's when you start blaming God.
[58:28] But when you have money there, you just enjoy it.
[58:36] And this message here, you say, So Margo, where am I starting
[58:38] from? Start.
[58:40] Start trusting God for little things.
[58:44] I said what? Start what?
[58:46] Trusting God for little things. Pray about little things.
[58:48] Lord, I'm trusting you for this. I'm trusting you for this.
[58:53] I need a laptop for my school. And you start listening to
[58:57] instructions from God. You save 600 galaxies for the
[59:00] laptop and you say, Lord, I need a laptop.
[59:02] And the Lord says, how much do you have in your account?
[59:03] Says 600. OK, I'll show you something.
[59:08] When you come to church, buy a shoe and give it to this man.
[59:14] They say Lord, I say I need a laptop.
[59:27] We said we need a land for the work of God.
[59:30] The feedback was that Sun, when you enter the new year, don't
[59:34] touch your offering and you're tight for six months.
[59:36] I said we need land. What has it got to do with
[59:39] offering? Then we took everything to put
[59:46] the city, went to hand over there.
[59:48] What has land that we need got to do it.
[59:51] Don't touch your offering and your tithe for six months.
[59:57] That's how we trust God. So many of you, your faith is
[1:00:01] only passive, it's not active. That's why your faith is not
[1:00:07] working. You just believe God for
[1:00:10] believing sake. And hear me, faith always comes
[1:00:13] with instructions. Check your Bible.
[1:00:15] All the people that move by faith, there were instructions.
[1:00:20] So if you want to work with faith without instruction,
[1:00:22] there's a problem. God will lead you to do
[1:00:24] something. God will.
[1:00:26] Lead you to do something and those of you who are working in
[1:00:33] faith and you're always waiting for things to happen, it will
[1:00:35] happen. I'm teaching you faith.
[1:00:41] You have to act in a certain way.
[1:00:46] Before the wars of Jericho came down, they went around this six
[1:00:50] times in silence, and the more they came after, every round the
[1:00:55] war was looking firmer, stronger.
[1:00:59] It took the shout now, brought it down.
[1:01:01] So if they didn't take that step of faith.
[1:01:03] By the instructions. Given to them, the war won't
[1:01:07] fall. God told you that for this thing
[1:01:12] to happen, I want you to do 21 days fast.
[1:01:15] You ended on day 17. Now, if according to the
[1:01:19] instruction you are supposed to do 21, you finished 17.
[1:01:22] Have you finished? You see, so some of you are just
[1:01:25] talking about your life. You are not serious with the
[1:01:29] instructions God has given to you.
[1:01:30] And you see, you are looking for big things, big instructions.
[1:01:34] My daughter, my son, arise, arise.
[1:01:41] Move to the left and turn your toilet.
[1:01:45] Flush it three times. Come out from the toilet, go and
[1:01:49] bath. Enter into Bank of Ghana and
[1:01:56] tell them you need a loon. You want to hear audible voice.
[1:02:01] You can't work that way. It's a small voice.
[1:02:05] I will speak to you. You are praying for marriage.
[1:02:09] You went to a place and the law says that there's some a guy
[1:02:12] that was just annoying you and the Holy Ghost says speak calmly
[1:02:15] to him, speak calmly to him. At that time.
[1:02:20] You see, you have not worked on your emotions.
[1:02:21] I've not worked on your emotions.
[1:02:28] But if you spend time working on your emotions, if you allow God
[1:02:31] to wound you at that time, God would have worked on you.
[1:02:33] By the time he was speaking to you to be calm, he would have
[1:02:35] heard his voice. When you came close to your
[1:02:41] husband, you forgot and you fought with him.
[1:02:46] Then you come to church father, wherever my husband is of
[1:02:52] insulted your husband and say wherever he is, he's gone.
[1:02:57] He's gone. Your husband was the man that
[1:03:01] came with smelling ambity. You didn't love what I said.
[1:03:08] I said your husband was the one that came with what spelling and
[1:03:12] peace and when he came and you. This is not him, This is not
[1:03:21] him. The one I pray for, He doesn't
[1:03:23] have it. The one I pray for, He doesn't
[1:03:27] smell. I wonder man who uses a nice 212
[1:03:30] Cologne, it's not him. You're forgotten that God will
[1:03:35] never bring your finished product.
[1:03:36] You bring a raw material for you to be the one that would change
[1:03:42] you from smelly into smiley. Young girls of today, you
[1:04:04] misunderstand you. I can tell you God will bring
[1:04:08] your miracle husband in Tata clothes.
[1:04:11] That man is a billionaire in Tom clothes.
[1:04:18] Just give him four years. Give him four years.
[1:04:23] But you look at him and he says no, no, he can't be this guy.
[1:04:26] This is not what I prayed for. He should does not look like it.
[1:04:32] His trousers don't look like it. I am looking for someone with an
[1:04:37] Indian cave. See, when my wife met me, I was
[1:04:44] not handsome. Oh, I'm telling you, I saw one
[1:04:47] of my pictures. I said no, this is not me.
[1:04:49] This is not me. Let me see.
[1:04:52] Is this how I'm looking? This is not me.
[1:04:56] And yes, Sir. You guys are preaching, You are
[1:04:59] preaching. Stay here.
[1:05:01] I could see 5. So God brought
[1:05:29] your husband. But you're smelling.
[1:05:39] And God was expecting you to start the relationship from
[1:05:43] there see the vision the way the guy's talking you realize that
[1:05:47] the guy has vision. Take your time you don't don't
[1:05:51] just throw every guy away. Listen to the master you're
[1:05:53] talking what's enough to can't seem that is the plan.
[1:05:56] I just want to do there's something that I had a dream I
[1:05:59] was doing some oil project and the oil project I was doing but
[1:06:05] but the guy is topless at that time.
[1:06:10] You know something the thing wasn't working the way he was
[1:06:12] working, but the way he's talking doesn't look like it.
[1:06:15] It doesn't matter bite you to run for him and tell him look,
[1:06:19] if you want us to start this journey.
[1:06:20] The first issue I have is no, I'm saying that somebody's not
[1:06:32] laughing. She's taking, but I'm saying
[1:06:33] serious. Yeah.
[1:06:36] But I want you to know that we can't do this journey with this
[1:06:39] smell on you. I hope you're not offended.
[1:06:43] Are. You serious?
[1:06:50] Are you serious? The girl is speaking to you
[1:07:06] politely. Take it like that.
[1:07:10] Your mouth is smelling. It's real.
[1:07:15] The the girl is considering you. So put the pride aside.
[1:07:19] Hey, do you know the things the wife, my wife think about me?
[1:07:29] Hallelujah. So what I'm teaching you is a
[1:07:31] real thing? No, some of you.
[1:07:33] I'm praying for this. God has brought you.
[1:07:35] I've rejected it three times, forgetting that there was a
[1:07:39] process that you're supposed to move, to move the person.
[1:07:43] Mama Roswan, the wife of Reverend Eastwood.
[1:07:47] Reverend Sue was saying that when they got married, he was a
[1:07:51] Bushman. When they are eating on the
[1:07:53] table. It was the wife that taught him
[1:08:00] how to eat because when he was trained and raised from Boca
[1:08:06] Tanka, there's no fucking knife DZ that DZ that just so you see.
[1:08:13] That was the background, but the woman moved that she took it
[1:08:16] like that and changed it with time.
[1:08:20] The man took it like that, changed her with time.
[1:08:22] You see, that's how The thing is supposed to be.
[1:08:26] Usually if you meet anything that is already cooked, problem
[1:08:30] is behind it. A man who has five bedroom with
[1:08:37] other 3-4 houses, it's always like that.
[1:08:42] But usually men like that will not even respect or regard you.
[1:08:48] You will have everything but you have joy.
[1:08:53] But we don't want to start with somebody who does not look like
[1:08:56] it. So he learned to lean on his
[1:09:05] stuff. Does somebody learn to lean on
[1:09:07] God one more time? Learn to lean on God?
[1:09:14] Am I testing good today at all? It's a powerful message #3 The
[1:09:24] third thing that happened to him after his wound was that his
[1:09:27] name was changed. And note, all these things
[1:09:32] happen after he was wounded. Meaning there are dimensions in
[1:09:38] God you have never touched because you have not allowed God
[1:09:40] to wound you. I was there when God told me.
[1:09:47] Son, till the next time I speak to you, You are not taking
[1:09:51] honorarium from any church that you go to.
[1:09:57] I was like God, do you understand what you're saying?
[1:10:00] This church does not pay me. You can ask all of them here.
[1:10:04] They don't give me anything because I want to look at the
[1:10:08] offering. The offering is not offerable.
[1:10:12] So me myself offering. So if God is saying that the
[1:10:22] programs I go, I can't take on the rear room, I need to ask God
[1:10:25] some questions. How do I survive paying the fees
[1:10:32] of three children? Do you know what it means?
[1:10:38] So there was a wrestle within me.
[1:10:40] God was wrestling with me, and he won.
[1:10:43] I go to a church, they package the envelope.
[1:10:47] They give it. I said thank you, Sir.
[1:10:49] Thank you, Sir. I just came to bless you.
[1:10:51] They don't know I'm in pain. They don't know I'm limping,
[1:10:56] they don't know I'm having a chronic pain so that I can look
[1:11:02] at it. There was one time one of them
[1:11:03] made a mistake and they put the envelope in the hamper.
[1:11:07] So by the time normally I take hamper, I won't take envelope.
[1:11:09] By the time the hamper came, the envelope had already come.
[1:11:12] So I was trying to convince God that it's not my fault.
[1:11:15] And God said send it to Momo back to them.
[1:11:20] And I called the one of the either sack one of them and he
[1:11:24] went to send the Momo back to the pastor who sent the real.
[1:11:27] The pastor was shocked, you see. I'm a man in wounds, but in the
[1:11:34] process of that food. That's how I won.
[1:11:39] There's never been a day I like school fees for my children.
[1:11:43] Never been a day when there's hunger, never been a day when
[1:11:46] there's no fall in my car. Never.
[1:11:47] I can't explain, but that's how I win as I win.
[1:11:57] Look, let go wound you. Let go wound you.
[1:12:02] He will tell you. You's young.
[1:12:03] You are no longer going to be on iPhone for six months and all
[1:12:07] your appetite for social media can grow.
[1:12:14] But Gus is 6 months. He's painful.
[1:12:18] He's a wound because you can't have the pleasure you're looking
[1:12:21] for. But in that obedience, by the
[1:12:24] time the six months is up, you have become another man.
[1:12:28] Your name has changed from Jacob to Israel.
[1:12:33] Some of you are joking with the consecrations God has given to
[1:12:35] you, forgetting that that is how that's the plan He has said to
[1:12:38] wound you. You are stopped the first thing
[1:12:40] He gave to you. You are stopped the
[1:12:41] consecrations He gave to you. And you are?
[1:12:43] Expecting to win. You don't win that way.
[1:12:46] We win by wounds. We win by the wings that.
[1:12:53] Comes from the Holy Spirit. How does God tell you to pay for
[1:13:11] the discharging of of a church member who has just delivered a
[1:13:14] child when your wife also just came out from labor?
[1:13:18] Think about it, my wife has just conceived and a church member
[1:13:22] conceived. There's no money to discharge
[1:13:23] and God says send the money to her and leave your wife in the
[1:13:29] natural. It is selfishness.
[1:13:31] You have to think of your family first.
[1:13:33] But that was the instructions of the Holy Ghost.
[1:13:36] Who am I? And I sent the money to the
[1:13:40] church member. She was discharged.
[1:13:43] I have about one hour for me to discharge my wife.
[1:13:46] I never called anybody. I don't know how the person knew
[1:13:50] and the person sent the exact amount.
[1:13:53] Think about it. We live by wounds.
[1:13:57] We survive by wounds. His name was changed from Jacob
[1:14:04] the Saver to Israel, Prince of power with God.
[1:14:10] Look, if you want to be a man of power with God, learn to subject
[1:14:16] yourself to the wounds. Of the Holy Spirit you will like
[1:14:20] it. People may mock you because your
[1:14:26] working style has changed, but that is how you win.
[1:14:34] You'll be working 2 lectures instead.
[1:14:36] Of bought in a car one hour because you use your money to
[1:14:40] obey God. God will tell you where only one
[1:14:50] issue, give out the rest. You have 7 issues.
[1:14:51] He gets his give sex, we're only one for the next one year you
[1:14:58] come to church with only one shoe.
[1:15:00] You know how embarrassing that will be.
[1:15:01] People will be wondering you can you can afford it, but the loss
[1:15:04] is well only one shoe. You're wearing a shoe, you're
[1:15:13] looking useless to men. Your color combination is not
[1:15:18] working. I almost told God that that 40
[1:15:22] days I wouldn't do it, almost because I was thinking about
[1:15:27] what people will say about my skin, how people look when they
[1:15:33] look at me. I wish you had pictures of me
[1:15:35] when I come to church. How people feel, even our
[1:15:37] videos, anybody who watched the video will not even be attracted
[1:15:41] to these videos. How my wife feel of asking
[1:15:46] myself all these questions. But we see there comes a time in
[1:15:50] life it's either God or nothing. Obey Him.
[1:15:56] He will change your name. Submit yourself to his wounds.
[1:16:04] He will change your name. Stop that wrong business deal
[1:16:10] you are doing. He will change your name.
[1:16:14] Take that man's number, the man who keeps pestering you and tell
[1:16:17] you I can change your life. I just need one night with you.
[1:16:20] That guy, it's your danger. That guy is your danger.
[1:16:23] Block him deleting. God will take care of you to
[1:16:28] take care of you. When I was printing a lot, I was
[1:16:32] telling me there's a young lady who has met a friend who is a
[1:16:34] lesbian and she has started sending you some videos and
[1:16:38] trying to lure you into lesbianism.
[1:16:40] God is speaking to you. That young lady, you are sitting
[1:16:42] here watching me. God is speaking to you.
[1:16:45] If you fall into it, you have three years to live.
[1:16:47] She will give you a dangerous sickness.
[1:16:50] Avoid that Lady. I'm speaking to you as a
[1:16:53] prophet. Avoid that Lady.
[1:16:57] You've seen all the signs. Don't wait for any other sign.
[1:17:00] Walk out of that relationship even when she promises to give
[1:17:04] you a car. Not listen, you'll die.
[1:17:10] So we need to understand that it is in the.
[1:17:12] Wounds that we receive from the Holy Ghost, that becomes the
[1:17:16] medals. Of our victory.
[1:17:20] Wounded by God. Wounded by God.
[1:17:25] That's how the Christian. Wins his name was changed after
[1:17:34] the wounds from Jacob supplanted deceiver scammer to Israel
[1:17:40] praise of power with God. Name represents identity, so
[1:17:45] your name is your identity so everything about this guy
[1:17:48] changed outwardly after this encounter with God.
[1:18:00] The fourth thing that happened to him in Genesis 33 to verse
[1:18:05] 15. Now this is this is a shocking
[1:18:09] thing. Remember the prophecy was that
[1:18:13] the older will save the younger and the younger shall be
[1:18:20] stronger than the older. That was for the purpose of
[1:18:25] redemption. But after the resurrection of
[1:18:28] Jesus, which was Esau, after many years the order changed.
[1:18:34] The fourth thing that happened in Genesis chapter 33, the verse
[1:18:38] 15 was that Esau now Jacob now called Esau Lord five times.
[1:18:48] Think about it. He saw said let me now leave you
[1:18:55] with some of the folk that is with me.
[1:18:59] And he said, Jacob, what needed it.
[1:19:01] Let me find grace in thy sight, my Lord.
[1:19:04] Look at it now. Jacob was calling Esau, my Lord.
[1:19:09] So we are now realizing that this whole thing was beyond
[1:19:12] Jacob and Esau. After the transformation now
[1:19:17] Jacob subjected himself to the lordship of Jesus Christ.
[1:19:22] Look when you are wounded. By God calling Jesus Lord will
[1:19:28] not just only by word, it will be by action.
[1:19:32] We call it the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
[1:19:35] When you are wounded by God, the fourth thing that happens to you
[1:19:39] is that you subject yourself to the Lordship of Jesus.
[1:19:41] He becomes Lord, Master of your life.
[1:19:46] You don't go where you want to go.
[1:19:49] No, you don't go where you want to go.
[1:19:53] You don't say what you want to say because your mouth does not
[1:19:55] belong to you. He's now in Lord over your life.
[1:20:01] The fifth thing that happens to you, the fifth thing that
[1:20:06] happened, Are you ready for it? He bowed to him seven times.
[1:20:09] Now I'm just wondering that. What am I seeing?
[1:20:12] The Bible. Genesis 33, the verse 3.
[1:20:18] What am I seeing in my Bible? Jacob saw his saw.
[1:20:23] And he bowed to his saw seven times.
[1:20:28] What's causing a delay? Look.
[1:20:31] And he passed over before him and bowed himself to the ground
[1:20:35] seven times until he came near to his brother.
[1:20:37] Now think about it. So you realize, you are
[1:20:40] realizing that this is not a story anymore.
[1:20:43] Something's happening in this story that is changing.
[1:20:46] What's happening to Esau and and Jacob now, now his brother
[1:20:52] Jacob. Has not come to his own brother
[1:20:55] bowing. Have you noticed?
[1:20:57] We are brothers of Christ, yet we bow to Him so.
[1:21:03] Those of you think Jesus is my brother, hey, he's my brother.
[1:21:06] Hey, hey, hey, be careful. This brother is a senior brother
[1:21:12] and let me shock you, this brother is God.
[1:21:15] So be careful, don't let it eat into your head.
[1:21:17] This brother is God. So now we realize that he came
[1:21:20] to his brother bowing 7 times. When a man is wounded by God,
[1:21:25] the next thing that happens is that he begins to reference
[1:21:29] Jesus Christ. If you have not been transformed
[1:21:33] by the Holy Spirit, you will not respect God.
[1:21:36] That's why you'll be what's happening when worship is going
[1:21:37] on. That's what we say lift up your
[1:21:43] hands, your hands is stood down. You have if you pocketed in the
[1:21:45] presence of God. When you see a literate like
[1:21:50] that, it means the person is not transformed because a
[1:21:53] transformed man understands worship a.
[1:21:59] Wounded. Man understands what it means to
[1:22:02] reference God. I've stopped forcing people to
[1:22:09] fear God because I realized fearing God is a product of
[1:22:13] wounding. Fearing God is a product of
[1:22:18] transformation. Yes, when you meet God face to
[1:22:24] face, you fear him. There are some things that will
[1:22:30] become an abomination to you. You know why you're still
[1:22:34] enjoying pornography. You don't fear him.
[1:22:37] You know why I don't fear him? You are not wounded when God
[1:22:41] rules you the day you go to that.
[1:22:42] Site. You are trembling when you're
[1:22:46] going to the site in some purple because you fear.
[1:22:50] Nobody's in our bedroom, but you know God is there.
[1:22:52] You fear him, the consciousness of God's presence.
[1:22:57] Is the fear of God? When you are conscious that God
[1:23:00] is standing where you are at the moment, there's something you
[1:23:04] never do. Look, if you can never go to a
[1:23:06] porn site when Jesus is standing beside you, then you shouldn't
[1:23:10] do it at all. You know why?
[1:23:11] Because it's always by you. When you are singing, He is.
[1:23:15] Standing by my side, it's not only for prosperity, it's for
[1:23:18] fear. So it's not only I can surely
[1:23:24] never feel, it's now I can surely never sin 'cause I've got
[1:23:30] the Holy Spirit, Holy, Holy, Holy Holy Spirit.
[1:23:34] So look, when you are conscious of the presence of God, please
[1:23:40] consider, cry for them. The Holy Ghost said we should,
[1:23:47] we should let you consider One of them will collapse very soon.
[1:23:54] Next time your frame of card I'm going to join the view.
[1:24:02] So don't look. The language has changed now.
[1:24:05] Brandon's relationship has changed from brother to my Lord.
[1:24:09] Now he's bowing down to his brother 7 times.
[1:24:13] Think. About it.
[1:24:16] That's reference. I fear God.
[1:24:21] Oh, I fear God. I fear God.
[1:24:30] That's why I treat Christian sisters like sisters.
[1:24:32] I fear God. I can't have impure
[1:24:35] conversations with him, with them.
[1:24:37] I fear God. When the ladies in my office
[1:24:41] alone, sometimes I'm afraid I'm praying to finish the
[1:24:43] conversation so that the person can go mean Penny wants them me.
[1:24:47] Sonia Meo Hey, what testimony will I give to Jesus if I'm.
[1:24:56] Secretly proposing to the guards of the church.
[1:25:03] Having a vest outside, Renting houses in special places,
[1:25:08] entering hotels with other guests.
[1:25:11] Hey have you Misu? You can ask all those who travel
[1:25:20] with me. When I enter.
[1:25:21] Hotel. They lock the door and they go
[1:25:23] with the key. You can ask all of them.
[1:25:26] So even me, myself, I don't have keys to my own hotel room.
[1:25:30] I don't have keys to my own. So when I enter the hotel, I
[1:25:33] don't go anywhere because they have the key.
[1:25:35] So they can, they can never say a girl sneaks into my room,
[1:25:38] nobody, because they hold the key, putting boundaries around
[1:25:43] me. So understand that a transformed
[1:25:48] man, a man who has been hurt by God, fears.
[1:25:52] God. Guys, let's fear God.
[1:26:03] It's a trait of transformation. The sick thing that happens was
[1:26:06] that. He kissed him.
[1:26:10] I think that I think there was four or five of Genesis 33.
[1:26:14] He kissed him. Kissing is a sign of fellowship.
[1:26:22] A transformed man, a man who has been wounded by God, will now
[1:26:25] begin to engage in constant fellowship with God.
[1:26:30] A day you don't pray, you begin to feel sick, A day you don't
[1:26:38] read your Bible. I said BBL.
[1:26:41] That's when you begin to engage in fellowship.
[1:26:44] Something's happening to you. Fellowship begins #7 Isa called
[1:26:51] him master, and he called himself a servant.
[1:26:58] Why didn't I write the verse down?
[1:27:01] So he bowed to him, called him Lord, and then he called him
[1:27:04] your servant. So Esau told Jacob, told Esau
[1:27:08] that he, Jacob, is a servant. I thought the prophecy said that
[1:27:13] the older shall serve the younger, but that was for the
[1:27:17] purpose of the blessing and the best.
[1:27:18] Right after that one was over, when he met him again in his
[1:27:21] resurrected states, it was Esau that was stronger because he was
[1:27:26] carrying 400 strong men. So now it was Jacob that was
[1:27:32] serving him. He called himself servant.
[1:27:34] Look, look, we need to understand that a transformed
[1:27:38] man will serve God. You are not forced to serve God.
[1:27:46] I don't like the way they are talking to me.
[1:27:47] I don't join the choir again. I don't like the way they are
[1:27:52] talking to me. I will not be part of the media
[1:27:53] department. It's in question.
[1:27:59] You are not wounded. You're not wounded into a big
[1:28:03] counter. You are too sensitive.
[1:28:05] The reason why you are sensitive because you are not wounded.
[1:28:09] If you are wounded, it will affect you.
[1:28:11] It will affect you. He now called him master, and he
[1:28:16] called himself servant. A transformed, wounded man is a
[1:28:22] serviceable man. I hear in this teaching #8 in
[1:28:29] Genesis chapter 33, the verse 7. I love this one.
[1:28:32] Genesis 33 seven the. Whole family of Jacob bowed down
[1:28:37] to his soul. Now this is a very serious
[1:28:38] matter, he says. And Leah also with her children
[1:28:43] came near and bowed themselves. And after came Joseph, Near and
[1:28:49] Rachel. And the what about themselves
[1:28:51] and look after? When Joseph left, he left as a
[1:28:56] single man. By the time he came back to
[1:28:59] Esau, he came as a heavily married man, Heavily because he
[1:29:04] had more than one wife. With children Before he met
[1:29:10] Esau, his children and his wives were ahead of him, which was the
[1:29:15] fruit of the blessing, and they bow down to his soul.
[1:29:20] Do you know what that means? A wounded man will have all his
[1:29:25] possessions and his fruits to serve God your wealth.
[1:29:31] Will serve God. Your money will serve God.
[1:29:35] Your car will serve God. Your shoe will serve God.
[1:29:39] Anything you gained in God must be given back to God in
[1:29:43] reference and service and worship.
[1:29:46] So everything that Jacob had was bowing down to his God wants you
[1:29:51] to submit everything he gives to you after redemption to serve
[1:29:55] the purposes of God. God, you can have me, but not my
[1:30:00] money. Lord, you can have me, but not
[1:30:04] my God. Lord, you can have me, but not
[1:30:07] my wife. Lord, you can have me, but not
[1:30:09] my children. That is not a crucified life.
[1:30:16] Are you learning #9 you ready for this?
[1:30:21] In Genesis 35, the verse to Jacob did something mind
[1:30:26] blowing. Please go and listen to this
[1:30:28] teaching again. Your miracle, your prophecies in
[1:30:33] this word. Look Genesis 35 and Jacob said
[1:30:37] to his what? To his what?
[1:30:40] Who can you shout? It he said to us to put all that
[1:30:45] well with him and all that with him, to put put away what
[1:30:48] strange gods that are among you now, you know strange gods,
[1:30:53] Idols. Look, a wounded man would remove
[1:30:58] idols from his life. What's an idol in the Old
[1:31:06] Testament it was a mega. It was it was something that you
[1:31:09] can wear and bow down to in the New Testament has changed in
[1:31:12] second in first John chapter 5 the verse 21 John warned his
[1:31:17] church. He says little children flee or
[1:31:21] keep yourselves from idols. Do you see?
[1:31:24] Jacob told his whole house. Every strange God in this house
[1:31:29] burnish it out. And he says, little children,
[1:31:34] keep yourselves from idols. Give that to me, the NLT.
[1:31:38] So you see the definition of an idol.
[1:31:41] He says, dear children, keep away from anything that might.
[1:31:47] I can hear you everybody, that might take God's place in your
[1:31:53] heart. A transformed man has God
[1:32:00] asperity. A transformed man, a wounded
[1:32:05] man, will take away idols from his life.
[1:32:07] Look, it should be a concern to you that you spent 16 hours on
[1:32:11] social media. It should be a concern if you're
[1:32:16] an iPhone user. I don't know how my iPhone did
[1:32:20] it, but I don't know. One day before I realized my
[1:32:22] hand has pressed something and I began to see something about
[1:32:26] screen time. You know about that.
[1:32:31] So you can be able to know how many hours you spent on YouTube,
[1:32:35] how many hours you spent on Facebook.
[1:32:38] And sometimes if you are bored enough to check it, you will
[1:32:41] shock yourself. There was one day by mistake, my
[1:32:47] hand pressed it. I didn't know he had that
[1:32:48] function. And when I checked, it was
[1:32:51] Facebook. One hour, 38 minutes, only
[1:32:54] Facebook. I said, Jesus Christ, this
[1:32:56] nonsense must stop. That's how I got it.
[1:33:00] And I said, hey, media team, handle it for me.
[1:33:03] Once in a while, I go on Facebook, I come back, This
[1:33:06] still will not become an idol in my life.
[1:33:10] So there is no social media app that's an idol in my life.
[1:33:14] I'm sorry if I've offended you, you, what's up me?
[1:33:16] Something I don't reply, it's not deliberate to.
[1:33:19] I have 980 unreply messages. So something the message will
[1:33:22] mix up. I don't even see it sometimes.
[1:33:24] So I have to train myself to screw sometimes, to reply some
[1:33:28] people. It's not my fault.
[1:33:33] Sometimes social media has a way of blinding you.
[1:33:36] A lot of children who cannot focus on their education is
[1:33:40] because their parents give them so much access to phone.
[1:33:45] Look, if you are a student, if you want to be successful in
[1:33:48] your examinations and your academics, go to lectures
[1:33:51] without your phone. Did you hear me?
[1:33:55] I know you were here, but I'm still saying it.
[1:34:00] I know you're here, but I still say it.
[1:34:02] Train yourself to go to lectures without phone.
[1:34:05] Give yourself one month. You realize you're a transformed
[1:34:07] student because the lecturer is lecturing.
[1:34:10] And you are? Whatsapping.
[1:34:11] He's lecturing. You are checking reels.
[1:34:13] I am telling you times 3. I'm telling you, look, the
[1:34:26] damage social media is causing our marriages.
[1:34:32] He said he came back from the airport one time and he was
[1:34:34] working at the airport. Everybody.
[1:34:36] 'S eyes was on their screen. Husband working with wife, wife
[1:34:42] on the phone, husband on the phone, children on their phone.
[1:34:44] They are all working this way. Zombies.
[1:34:49] The phone is controlling us. Husband comes from work, wife
[1:34:55] comes from work. They don't talk again.
[1:34:58] They talk to their phone. So they they now have two
[1:35:00] spouses. Most of you are cheating married
[1:35:02] you. Your phone is now your second,
[1:35:05] your your your your side chick is your phone.
[1:35:12] So your wife's head is here, husband's head is here chatting
[1:35:15] on WhatsApp, whatsapping and they can't talk.
[1:35:18] So now there's no even fellowship and union between
[1:35:21] married couples. Again, because of this phone, it
[1:35:23] has destroyed marriages. There's no burning relationship
[1:35:27] again because of our phone. Let me tell you something, if
[1:35:33] you are here, you can't focus on Bible reading.
[1:35:35] You know what happened to you? Your phone.
[1:35:39] One thing the phone is doing to us, especially the most
[1:35:42] dangerous 1, is when you turn off the lights in your room and
[1:35:45] your eye is watching your phone. Even more dangerous, not only
[1:35:51] are you damaging your IO, the next problem is that your focus
[1:35:57] on the lights on the phone begins to affect your brain.
[1:36:01] And lastly, we have been warned not to sleep with our phones by
[1:36:04] our side. Because when you sleep with your
[1:36:07] phone by your side, the radiation is what is causing the
[1:36:10] cancers and the sicknesses we are having the radiation of the
[1:36:13] phones. So when you are sleeping, you
[1:36:16] put your phone far away from you.
[1:36:17] But whoa, whoa. So the radiation is killing many
[1:36:27] people without knowing the phone is a major idol.
[1:36:30] So now all the witches, all the Wizards and occurs have realized
[1:36:34] that if they want to access everything about your life, they
[1:36:37] have to go and check your Facebook account into or another
[1:36:42] post to Wi-Fi. Also Bombay, me and Manburi.
[1:36:49] Not before I capture my screenshot.
[1:36:52] Pierre. Yeah.
[1:36:54] Semi camp. No, not my main director.
[1:36:56] No, I print it now. People get pregnant and they
[1:37:01] will take a picture of their pregnancy.
[1:37:03] Do you know what this sign means with your baby?
[1:37:15] Famicop. Famicop.
[1:37:22] That's what you are saying in your poster.
[1:37:25] Now what you're saying all the witches are taking all the
[1:37:36] screenshots so now all information?
[1:37:41] I'm on Brenda, I'm on bread. Because everything you're
[1:37:45] updating. So the witches are, well,
[1:37:47] updated. They know when you went three
[1:37:49] hours ago. They know where you're about to
[1:37:51] go. Aqua Safari here I come.
[1:38:01] Oka restaurant which me and my booty enjoying ourselves at KFC.
[1:38:20] So all the witches have gone to Facebook.
[1:38:22] Everybody now has an account. All all of them have an account
[1:38:26] because they realize their work has been made easy at first when
[1:38:31] they want information. Now they they don't need all
[1:38:44] that information. If they want to find your
[1:38:46] husband, they find him on Facebook they want to find you
[1:38:50] in your first class, they find you on Facebook there are some
[1:38:52] of you and you have no business posting certain sensitive
[1:38:54] information on Facebook, only you because of the witches, the.
[1:39:11] Witches in your family, they are deadly, They are strong, they
[1:39:16] are potent. They have PhD in what they have
[1:39:20] practiced over the years and these are the demos that you are
[1:39:25] joking with and you are just posting everything.
[1:39:27] As I said, there are some people there they have no business with
[1:39:30] pre wedding photo shoot. That's all.
[1:39:35] Nobody saw what happened. So what happened?
[1:39:40] They finished the wedding but also known.
[1:39:45] Simple so it is 1 update. So.
[1:40:08] Our phones have destroyed us. That's somebody.
[1:40:11] Our phones have destroyed us. I'm preaching good today.
[1:40:17] So they got rid of the idols and finally #10 he purified his
[1:40:22] home. The same verse, Genesis 35, the
[1:40:25] verse 2. We are going to pray for 45
[1:40:28] minutes non-stop. I'm going to wound you today.
[1:40:36] I'm telling you, I wound you today.
[1:40:40] It's part of the wounds of the Holy Spirit over bonfires and
[1:40:42] without prayer topic. Yeah.
[1:40:45] Are you ready? Put away string gods that among
[1:40:51] you. Now look at the next one.
[1:40:53] He says what? Be clean and change your
[1:40:57] comments. It's a serious matter here.
[1:41:01] So the final what I put here was that he purified his home and
[1:41:07] changed their clothes. So purity and sanctification
[1:41:12] will only happen to people who are wounded by God.
[1:41:16] Here ends my sermon on Wounded by God.
