[0:20] Today, in Jesus name, Amen. All right, so in exactly 40
[0:26] minutes, please let me please be seated in the presence of God.
[0:30] Welcome to our empowerment service.
[0:33] That is our second service. We commenced a very important
[0:44] series. We we titled the seven pillars
[0:50] of What of Christian. What wonderful.
[1:01] So we began to discuss the the pillars of Christian
[1:09] spirituality. And then we said that the first
[1:13] pillar of Christian spirituality is what what your understanding
[1:20] of spiritual warfare #2 is your understanding of one spiritual
[1:29] laws. We've done that already #3 is
[1:31] your understanding of, oh, you're not here.
[1:34] The church is almost very weak. That is what you're not you're
[1:38] not here with me. That is spiritual hunger #4 is
[1:45] what Oh my God 4 is, or what we call what spiritual disciplines.

[1:55] I'm going to treat that as the seed point.
[1:57] So #5 is what we're dealing with what spiritual fruits?
[2:01] And we explained that the whole purpose of this teaching is to
[2:07] ground you on the understanding of spirituality because a lot of
[2:12] what is going on in the church now, especially in the new age
[2:16] system that you're in, what people call spirituality is not.
[2:22] I'm told now people are doing Astra projection, Astra
[2:26] projection, out of body experience and soul travel, even
[2:31] on TikTok. And I'm like, this is getting
[2:35] wild, getting wild. So it's very important that the
[2:43] Church establishes the truth about what spirituality is.
[2:47] So we started by teaching you on the first pillar on spiritual
[2:50] warfare. You cannot be spiritual or work
[2:54] in spirituality without an understanding of spiritual
[2:57] warfare. Likewise, you can't without your
[3:00] understanding of the laws that operates or govern the realm of
[3:04] the spirit #3 you cannot function as a spiritual person
[3:08] without your understanding of spiritual hunger or spiritual
[3:12] appetite. How on earth can you be
[3:14] spiritual when you don't understand spiritual appetite #5
[3:19] #4 you can't be a spiritual Christian or practice
[3:23] spirituality without the understanding of spiritual
[3:27] disciplines. So now in this teaching, now we
[3:31] want to explain to you the fifth pillar.
[3:34] There is an aspect of spirituality that has got to do
[3:38] with your behavior, your character, the fruits that you
[3:44] bear as a Christian. So spiritual fruit is a pillar
[3:50] of Christian spirituality. You cannot practice spirituality
[3:55] without fruit. So by this we are looking at the
[4:00] fruit of the Spirit. So we explained according to
[4:08] First Corinthians 13, he says, though I speak with the tongues
[4:11] of men, of angels because people think that once you can bring
[4:13] tongues, once people can fall down, once there's a display of
[4:19] a certain dimension of power, it means that there is something
[4:24] that looks like spirituality going on.
[4:27] In as much as that is very true, there is one aspect that many
[4:31] Christians have not understood. And actually all other things
[4:35] are founded on this particular thing.
[4:38] Amen. So you cannot be spiritual
[4:43] without practicing or manifesting the fruit of the
[4:47] Spirit or without burying the fruit of the Spirit.
[4:53] Now in Galatians chapter 5, verse 22, the Bible, I laid the
[4:56] foundation last three weeks or last four weeks.
[4:58] I laid the foundation already. I don't want to go there.
[5:00] So go and look for the teaching. It's all on the podcast.
[5:03] If you have a pen drive, just go to the media team.
[5:06] Tell them I said you should come and copy the messages.
[5:09] Copy every message we have up to Look, there are many people who
[5:32] are coming to the knowledge of God through some of the
[5:34] teachings going on on social media, and this is your

[5:50] people within the auditorium will listen.
[5:53] You may not know who will listen to the message.
[5:55] You may not know who it will change.
[5:57] There are some of you. These simple things have gotten
[6:00] people born again and you never knew.
[6:03] You never knew, so don't leave your social media dormant.
[6:10] It's a warfare. Social media is also warfare.
[6:13] Use it for the gospel. So I have two minutes more for
[6:18] you so that we can quickly zoom into the word of God.
[6:24] So this morning you will be so blessed in Jesus name.

[6:37] So now we're talking about the fruit of the Holy Spirit in
[6:40] Galatians chapter 5 verse 22, the Bible says part the fruit of
[6:44] the Spirit. Now there is a capital S there.
[6:48] So we don't know whether it is the fruit of the Holy Spirit as
[6:53] in the Spirit, or it is the fruit of our recreated spirit.
[6:59] So there's a bit of confusion. Some scholars believe is the
[7:01] fruit of capital S, the spirit. Some believe is small S, which
[7:05] is our recreated spirit. Both of them are not wrong.
[7:09] But in context, the challenge is that the word spirit is Numa in
[7:15] the Greek, and Numa actually means Holy Spirit, human spirit,
[7:21] and demon spirit. They all come from the same word
[7:23] Numa. Are you following?
[7:26] So sometimes there's a bit of difficulty in the translation
[7:31] because demonic spirit, human spirit and Holy Spirit are using
[7:35] the same Greek word. Are you following now actually
[7:39] supposed to be small S? It is the fruit of your
[7:43] recreated spirit. So the Holy Spirit produces that
[7:48] fruit and then you bear them. So these fruits are within you
[7:54] by virtue of your new nature, but it takes understanding and
[7:59] spiritual training to be able to bear them.
[8:02] Are you following what I'm teaching you?
[8:03] So the reason why it's called fruit is because it is produced
[8:08] out of life. A branch cannot produce fruit
[8:12] when it is disconnected from the vine.
[8:15] So the Bible is teaching us that when we are well connected with
[8:20] Christ, this is what will come out of us.
[8:24] Are we getting this? So it is not something we go
[8:27] from outside to to make it work inside.
[8:30] It's something that your real greatest spirit bears when you
[8:35] are connected to the vine. Have you noticed that Jesus said
[8:39] I am the vine, you are the branches?
[8:42] If you are binding me, the Bible says you bear much fruit.
[8:45] So when a believer is well connected by abiding in Christ,
[8:51] that believer will produce a certain fruit.
[8:55] If you remember when we were Hacienda, I taught you what it
[8:58] means to abide in Christ. To abide in Christ simply means
[9:03] to abide in the world. To abide in Christ means to draw
[9:10] your strength from Christ. To abide in Christ means to draw
[9:18] your strength from Christ. Are we following?
[9:28] So he says, if you abide in my word and my word in you, if you
[9:33] abide in my word and I'm my word in you.
[9:35] So to abide in Christ simply means to abide in God's word.
[9:40] It means to stay connected with Christ.
[9:44] It means to draw your strength from Jesus.
[9:49] So when a believer stays connected by abiding in the
[9:53] world and that believer draws his strength from Jesus, the
[10:00] Bible says that these are the manifestations that his
[10:04] recreated spirit will begin to bear.
[10:07] Are you following? Because look, it is not the duty
[10:13] of the branch to produce the fruit.
[10:17] Are you getting something here? It's not the duty of the tree,
[10:22] sorry, the branch to produce fruit.
[10:26] Because you see, the vine is the tree that has the root.
[10:32] So it is the life that flows from the root that flows through
[10:39] the branch to bring the fruit. So the responsibility of the
[10:47] branch is to stay connected because the strength for the
[10:51] fruits does not come from the branch.
[10:53] Are you kidding what I'm saying? So there's the strength.
[11:00] The natural composition of the vine to produce fruit is already
[11:08] in the vine. So when the branch stays
[11:12] connected, it will bear the fruit, which is why we are
[11:17] telling you that, look, your intimacy with Jesus is the
[11:21] secret to your fruitfulness as a child of God.
[11:25] But you see, because of my time, I want to go straight to the
[11:27] point. The fruit of the Spirit is the
[11:29] character of Jesus. Anybody who is born again has
[11:33] the nature. You know, there's something like
[11:35] like like father, like son, which means the genes, the
[11:39] hormones, the DNA of every father is in a son or daughter.
[11:48] So when the child is going, you begin to see that the fingers of
[11:50] the child is like daddy, the eyes of the child is like daddy,
[11:54] The Walking style is like daddy. So God is telling us that
[11:59] registered in a spiritual DNA are the very genes of Jesus.
[12:09] So God wants you to be conscious.
[12:13] Now look, look, no, tell three people, I have the DNA of Jesus
[12:23] in me, Hallelujah. So inside the DNA of your
[12:29] spiritual genes, these are the fruit in it.
[12:35] And he says love. Now it's supposed to be fruits
[12:38] because they are more than one day.
[12:39] But the Bible use one fruit. And I explained to you that it's
[12:43] not fruits of the spirit but fruit of the spirit because the
[12:47] fruit of the spirit is actually one.
[12:50] And that fruit is what love. So love is like a tangerine.
[12:56] When you open a tangerine, it has about 9 different what
[13:01] sessions that you can just remove and then eat them.
[13:05] When you open love, love has patience in it.
[13:11] Inside love there is joy and peace, which is why in first
[13:14] Corinthians that in the Bible says love is patient, love is
[13:20] kind. Are you from what I'm teaching
[13:25] you? So the more conscious you are of
[13:29] the fruit of the Spirit, the more easier it is to abide in
[13:33] Christ to allow them to produce themselves.
[13:36] So you bear them. Are you follow the teaching?
[13:38] So now number one we said is love.
[13:41] We have explained that love is agape in the Greek and love
[13:45] means undefeatable or unconquerable goodwill,
[13:51] undefeatable benevolence or unconquerable goodwill.
[13:57] It is showing affection to someone unconditionally.
[14:04] For God so loved the world, the world were sinners.
[14:08] He did not wait for them to love him.
[14:11] While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
[14:14] So God is saying that the fruit of the Spirit being loved means
[14:18] that you will learn to be affectionate to people
[14:21] irrespective of how you feel. Look, if people understand the
[14:35] power of love, we will conquer a lot of things in our lives.
[14:46] Jesus says love one another. He actually commands us to love
[14:53] one another. Look, it's going to be very
[14:55] difficult to love sometimes, but you see, it is in our nature to
[15:00] love, because, you see, the love of God has been shed abroad in
[15:04] our hearts by the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah.
[15:10] So you see, though we have love in our spirit, we will grow in
[15:17] its expression. You know why?
[15:20] Because we are spirit, we have a soul, and we live in our body.
[15:25] So love is in our spirit by virtue of the Holy Ghost.
[15:28] But you see, the expression of the love must flow through our
[15:32] soul, so our body begins to manifest them.
[15:36] So as we begin to abide in Jesus Christ, there is a flow of life,
[15:42] a flow of love from the emotional level, from the
[15:46] mindset level, from the will, which begins to affect the
[15:49] actions of our body. Am I teaching good at all?
[15:53] So now I read a scripture for you the last time in First John
[15:56] chapter 2. My time is just running.
[15:58] Lord. Lord slow the time a bit for me.
[16:01] First John chapter 2, the verse 11.
[16:05] There are some scriptures that when you see them, you just
[16:11] can't live anyhow as a child of God.
[16:14] First John chapter 2. Now come with me to the verse 99
[16:20] to 11. Look, I don't know why my
[16:25] monitors are not here, but the Bible says he that is in the
[16:30] light, or say it says that he's in light.
[16:35] And he said what? His brother is in darkness when
[16:44] even unto them. So do you see why some people
[16:52] say, OK, once I'm a believer and I'm in the light, I'm in the
[16:55] light. You can be in the light and
[16:57] function in darkness. I follow me.
[17:03] Do you know that you can have light in your house as long as
[17:06] your prepaid is renewed, which means when your prepaid gets
[17:11] finished, you have connection but you have light, which means
[17:16] that same believer who has who actually has access to lighting
[17:20] system can still walk in darkness in his house.
[17:30] So he's saying that anybody that says he's in the light, which
[17:35] means you can deceive yourself thinking you are in the light
[17:37] and you are in darkness and hated his brother is in darkness
[17:42] even until now. Now look at the more dangerous
[17:44] thing. Look at it, this one is too
[17:45] dangerous. The next one, he done loved his
[17:47] brother. What a by dirty light, and there
[17:55] is what no occasion of stumbling in him Next verse can we be
[18:05] together one too lonely go. But he that hated his brother is
[18:12] in darkness, and worketh in darkness, and knoweth not
[18:17] whether he goeth, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
[18:25] This thing is too dangerous that you need to understand this
[18:27] thing. I tell somebody this thing or
[18:30] say this thing, this thing, this thing, He says he that hated his
[18:35] brother #1 that pressing is in what?
[18:39] So you are in darkness #2 you are walking in darkness #2 and
[18:45] #3 you know not where you go because that darkness has
[18:48] blinded your eyes. So now here's the deal.
[18:57] This scripture is actually saying that when you begin to
[19:01] have or hatred, resentment in your heart as a believer, what
[19:05] is going to happen is that you step Into Darkness.
[19:10] Not only so after stepping Into Darkness, you walk in it and
[19:14] then at the same time you are blind in that darkness.
[19:22] So the simple way we can explain it is that when we turn off the
[19:25] light here, can you turn off the light?
[19:28] OK, No, no, it can't work because of these ones here.
[19:31] It's OK, Turn it on. When we turn off the lights, not
[19:35] only will you be in darkness, so you yourself, your eyes are
[19:37] covered. Can I ask something to read?
[19:46] Can I ask something to read? The challenge is that light is a
[19:53] person. Christ is the light, right?
[19:55] And the Bible says you are in the light when you walk in love.
[19:58] Likewise, darkness is also a person.
[20:04] Which means the moment you begin walking in the darkness, you are
[20:07] now functioning in Satan. He's he now becomes your power.
[20:16] Look, darkness itself is alive. Darkness is a power which means
[20:24] a believer who works in darkness because he exhibits hatred will
[20:28] be powered by darkness, which means the Kingdom of darkness
[20:32] begin to rule his life. This teaching is a very
[20:38] important teaching. Now let's let's proceed.
[20:42] Let's proceed. Now come with me to the book of
[20:44] First John, chapter 4. The verse 20 are you there now
[21:00] let's we together one too loudly go I love God and hated his
[21:06] brother. He's a liar for he that whom he
[21:12] has seen. How can he love his brother?
[21:16] How can he love God whom he has not?
[21:22] Jesus, I love you, you are the love of my soul.
[21:26] And Jesus is also watching you. Oh your oh Papa.
[21:28] Now look, you love Jesus, but you have not seen him.
[21:38] Now just think about it, you love Jesus, you have not seen
[21:43] him, and the one you see you hate the person and you say love
[21:52] Jesus. So the Bible says you're a liar.
[21:57] So there are many liars in the Kingdom today in the council.
[22:10] Because you see, if you don't hear teachings like this, our
[22:15] marriages will not work. If we don't hear teachings like
[22:20] this, the the, the body of Christ, it won't work.
[22:30] I was telling somebody that in the ark of Noah there were
[22:33] different categories of animals, chameleon and that is snake,
[22:44] spider, cobra, pity pig, all of them.
[22:54] When the ark for one year, 17 days, Noah, the word Noah means
[23:03] comfort and rest. Christ is our comfort and his
[23:06] arrest. So the ACT represent Christ.
[23:09] The word ark actually in the Hebrew is the BA, OK, which just
[23:13] means a coffin. So it is represent representing
[23:16] the fact that through the death of Jesus Christ, we're all
[23:18] welcome into him. So when we're welcomed, we were
[23:23] not welcomed without our characters.
[23:26] So all the animals are animals with different character traits.
[23:31] The lion has a character trait, pride and lordship.
[23:38] Chameleon is hypocrisy. Are you following saying snail,
[23:48] slow parrot? That's the parrot pig.
[23:56] You clean the pig up, it will go mess up again.
[23:59] That's you just bother pig less than 5 minutes.
[24:05] So these are all character crease traits of Christians.
[24:08] When they were born again, they entered Christ with the

[25:28] But the person is born again. I'm trying to let you understand
[25:35] something. So look at the kind of work we
[25:40] have given to Jesus. Now I started to say this.
[25:56] The Ark was not contained with perfect people, but it was the
[26:07] safest place to be at that time. Which means that if you left the
[26:18] ark in anger, the flag will carry you.
[26:22] Do you know what I'm saying? I said this also to say this, if
[26:36] you don't learn to love people and give them time to grow, you
[26:41] may lose your destiny. Helpers within the same local
[26:44] authority. There are people that need time
[26:49] to grow their family background. Some did not grow up with a kind
[26:55] of system that you had to grow up.

[27:03] characters. Some see, I have learnt.
[27:06] You see if you're child of God and you don't, you don't know
[27:10] how to forbid with people the slug testing, the slug testing

[27:38] God uses people to perfect us. Does somebody love me the way I
[27:46] am and give me time to change? I will get in this thing all

[28:19] Now, what is joy? Joy is from the Greek word Kara,
[28:25] Kara CHARA, Kara okara. It means emotional excitement.

[28:57] this? It means delight over a blessing

[30:27] I get in something today. Philippians 4 For the Bible
[30:30] says, rejoice in the Lord always.
[30:32] And I say again, rejoice Now. God will not tell you to rejoice
[30:41] when you don't have what it takes to rejoice.
[30:45] When God says be holy, it means He has made you holy.
[30:49] So he's saying, be who you are. Look, if I look at Pastor Eva's
[30:53] face and I say, Pastor Eva be a man, is he not a man?
[30:58] He's a man. But when I say be a man, what do
[31:00] I mean Acts as a man? So when God says being holy, it
[31:06] is because what he has made you holy.
[31:08] So act as a holy man. So when God says rejoice, what
[31:17] does it mean the ability to be joyful?
[31:21] Is he you? So now when the Bible says
[31:27] rejoice, it means there is something in your emotion that
[31:30] can stop it. Look, the fruit of the Spirit,
[31:33] its limitation is the flesh. The limitation of the fruit, the
[31:40] manifestation of the fruit of the spirit is Philly's emotion
[31:44] flesh. That's what the Bible says.
[31:49] Husbands love your wife. It really add when they love you
[31:53] back. So the moment you activate your
[32:03] flesh or your emotion, you cut the flow of the manifestation of
[32:07] the fruit of the Spirit. Listen to be careful you.
[32:09] So joy is in you, but bad news can quench it.
[32:16] Joy is in you, but bad news can stop joy from flowing.
[32:26] So the limitation of the manifestation of the fruit is
[32:29] emotion. What is 1 Look, if you, if you
[32:32] are so sensitive to emotion, you, you can hardly manifest the
[32:37] character of Jesus. So the one who was telling them
[32:52] to rejoice, when you do a bit of study, Apostle Paul was
[32:55] imprisoned and he was telling free people to rejoice.
[33:02] Does this make sense? You are in prison and you are
[33:04] telling us to rejoice. That means he's to rejoice.
[33:07] And that's why he's telling you that.
[33:13] Look, one of the reasons why these things are very necessary
[33:18] is because we are living in the world governed by the spiritual
[33:22] world. You confuse Satan when he's
[33:27] expecting a negative reaction and you give him God's reaction.
[33:36] Are you here with me at all? Let me give you a practical
[33:41] example. Harborcock chapter 3, verse 17.
[33:48] Now look, I love this one. Though the fig trees are not
[33:52] blossom, neither shall fruits be in the vines.
[33:58] The labour of the only shall fail.
[34:01] The fields shall not meet, shall not you?
[34:04] Shall you no meet. The flock shall be cut off from
[34:08] the fold, and there shall be no head in the stall.
[34:11] Negativity, lack of fruitfulness.
[34:14] Trees are not working, trees are not blossoming.
[34:17] Look at the next verse. He says, Yet will I rejoice in
[34:24] the Lord, and I will join in the God of my salvation.
[34:32] So look, you lost your job. The very day you lost your job,
[34:40] you didn't do anything evil and you lost your job.
[34:43] If you stole and you lost your job, don't rejoice.
[34:45] Go and repent. Don't rejoice, go and repent.
[34:50] But you did nothing and they sacked you just like that.
[34:52] Go and go and party in the house.
[34:55] When I said party, I mean begin to dance and rejoice in the
[34:59] Lord. See that thing that you do will
[35:02] open up the full temple engines of your spiritual life for it to
[35:07] flow flourishly. I'm telling people something.
[35:10] Why should activate sorrow? Your ability to think reason, to
[35:16] hear from God is shut. You can receive counsel from
[35:20] God. You can receive the voice of the
[35:21] Holy Spirit. That's what the Bible says.
[35:28] Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer, because
[35:31] God knows that anxiety will break your spiritual system
[35:34] down. So God says rejoice, yet will I
[35:43] rejoice in the Lord. So it's an emotional excitement.
[35:47] Look, joy is not happiness. Happiness is what happens to you
[35:52] as a result of the things around you.
[35:55] John is what happens to you as a result of who is within you.
[35:59] So circumstances don't determine it.
[36:05] The early apostles, some of them was they were being beheaded.
[36:08] They were laughing you. Your laptop was spot.

[36:50] actually, which is the solution to your problem?
[36:52] Your heart is closed So what God wants to say to solve the
[36:56] problem, what has happened, you have cut it short because you're
[37:01] not rejoicing. Probably when you came to church
[37:08] your destiny up, I was sitting beside you.
[37:11] Maybe it's a new member who just came but is the CEO of a certain
[37:13] company and he doesn't know. And you are so Moody.
[37:16] They said tempt your neighbor and say hello, your emotion and
[37:21] the man says hey, is that how this person is?
[37:24] OK, let me just that's how you cut your flow.
