Have you ever noticed how a song can instantly change your mood? In this clip, I’m exploring how sound and vibration might influence the body, including stress responses and the way we experience emotions day to day. This clip explores the idea of the body as a “tuning fork”, where music, voice, and environmental frequency may affect us at a cellular level, including through fascia. We also look at visual examples of water and sand responding to specific frequencies and how that connects to the wider conversation about vibration, emotion, and why some people feel others’ energy when they enter a room. [0:02] This is a Beware moment, the most replayed moments from my
[0:05] latest conversation. It's a glimpse into the wider
[0:08] episode, which you can find LinkedIn the show notes below.
[0:12] Because sometimes one small moment is enough to reconnect to
[0:16] living well and being well. I talk about a lot about stress
[0:23] being the low Rd. versus the High Road.
[0:26] You know, when it, when we are very stressed, we have a
[0:29] disconnect in our HP axes and so we don't have the rational
[0:33] responses. But sadly, I think it's become
[0:37] so unique for us all to live in that world that the awareness is
[0:41] even harder to connect to. I mean, it's very different.
[0:44] I think if you're living in a city or you have a very
[0:46] demanding lifestyle or you have children or you have economics,
[0:50] you know, social economic stress where you're just trying to get
[0:53] by, but it has become quite normalized that that stress
[0:58] response. Yeah, and I like to look at the
[1:01] body as vibration. OK.
[1:04] So if you listen to sad music, how do you feel?
[1:07] Melancholy. Yeah, right.
[1:10] So when you listen to music, it changes the way you feel.
[1:13] Why? How is that possible?
[1:15] How come? And for more empaths, I'm going
[1:17] to talk to here. How come when somebody does walk
[1:20] into the room and they have an emotion, you can feel them.
[1:23] You maybe you didn't even see them and you felt it come up.
[1:26] There's something more happening and I believe it's vibration.
[1:30] If I take a tuning fork and I hit it and there's another
[1:33] tuning fork in the room, they will synchronize.
[1:36] So the body is a tuning fork. That's how I see the body.
[1:39] So when we listen to music, when we hear a sound, when we use our
[1:42] voice, these are all vibrations that vibrate the body at the
[1:46] cellular level and it changes the structure of our fascia.
[1:49] So if we were to distil the body down into like 3 really basic
[1:53] parts, water, sand, if we were to grind up the bones and the
[1:58] minerals and the nutrients and the elements and everything,
[2:00] let's just say sand and then bacteria or viruses, that's the
[2:04] human body. If we look at how water
[2:07] interacts with vibration and we look at how sand interacts with
[2:11] vibration, we understand the human body.
[2:14] OK, so this is the water video. OK, so if we look at watch this,
[2:19] they're going to play a sound boom, water changes the shape
[2:23] that looks like our fascia. The video that we looked at
[2:26] earlier looks like these water tubules that are connected to
[2:30] each other, creating shapes. Now, if I have an emotion that's
[2:35] a vibration, that's a frequency that's been measured, we can
[2:38] measure the frequency of an emotion, the heat emitted from
[2:41] the body as an emotion. And when we vibrate the body in
[2:46] anger, it changes the shape. That's my belief.
[2:49] OK, so we were water. We're about 70% water, give or
[2:54] take, depending on your hydration level.
[2:56] And we're also sand. And if you look at sand, it
[2:59] vibrate. When you vibrate sand at
[3:00] specific, specific frequencies, this is 1820 Hertz.
[3:05] The higher the frequency we go here, 2041, you're going to see
[3:09] the more complex this shape becomes.
[3:13] Let's go one more even higher, 30 to 40.
[3:17] So just explain for people who are listening.
[3:18] So this is creating like almost like the flowers of life or
[3:21] geometrical shapes, it's creating art.
[3:24] When you vibrate sand and water at specific frequencies, it
[3:28] creates shapes that you see in nature.
[3:33] And is this is a very important component of it because if we're
[3:37] 70% water and we're about 25% sand, if we were to distill
[3:40] everything down and this is how water and sand interacts with
[3:44] vibration and frequency, then how come the human body isn't,
[3:47] How come we're not talking about this?
[3:49] How come when you listen to sad music and you feel sad that
[3:52] we're not considering frequency and vibration in human health?
[3:55] And so I believe that fascia is bioacoustic.
[3:58] It responds to sound, it responds to frequency and
[4:02] vibration. And this also is why we can feel
[4:05] people when they walk into a room, because they're a tuning
[4:07] fork. They're vibrating a specific
[4:09] frequency that hits my body and it changes the structure of my
[4:12] cells at the cellular level. OK.
[4:14] So if we're thinking about that, then if we're trying to like
[4:16] understand, because for some people this might feel quite
[4:20] vast to get their head around just I have to like get people
[4:24] to kind of connect to this. So if there people are
[4:27] understanding, this is maybe listening to music.
[4:31] How do we think about this in our everyday life?
[4:33] Like how do we use the vibration that you said?
[4:35] Because there's lots of different ways, I guess that we
[4:37] can get vibration. I think about vibration, which
[4:40] is something that I've learned through the show.
[4:41] I talk a lot about the vagus nerve, kind of that central node
[4:44] that goes, you know, from our brain into well, kind of pass
[4:47] into our GI tract actually at the very base that was like our
[4:50] communication network. And when we do, the word on it
[4:54] vibrates and it helps kind of calm the vagus nerve.
[4:58] That's my way of thinking about vibration.
[5:00] People then kind of connect when doing it in yoga practice.
[5:03] Music was a really, really good one.
[5:05] I feel very connected to music. I actually, I actually
[5:08] disconnect before the show by listening to music because it
[5:11] helps change my mood and my energy.
[5:14] What other ways people can bring in this vibration method to help
[5:17] work with their fascia? The words you speak program your
[5:21] body because every word that I say is a vibration.
[5:26] OK, so there's this whole movement towards affirmations or
[5:32] programming language is what I like to call it.
[5:35] When I say a statement out loud, it vibrates and it goes down
[5:40] into the cellular level and it changes the vibration of it.
[5:43] So if I like, if I'm working with somebody and they come up
[5:45] to me and they say they tell me their story of their life, of
[5:48] why they're in vain, literally just based on the story that
[5:51] they're telling them, I know why they're on pain, why they're in
[5:53] pain. And the words that people say
[5:56] dictate their reality. Every word that you say is
[6:01] programming language. It's vibrating the body at the
[6:03] cellular level. And there's actually a system in
[6:05] the brain called the reticular activating system that lights up
[6:11] when you speak. So when you just have a thought,
[6:13] it lights up 50%. When you speak, it lights up
[6:16] 100%. And the reticular activating
[6:19] system, it's a system in the brain that's like a filter.
[6:22] So there's a lot of things in the room, trillions of bits of
[6:25] information. Why did you notice the painting
[6:28] on the wall? Because the painting on the wall
[6:31] is important to you. You're a fan of art.
[6:34] So what the reticular activating system does is it takes what's
[6:37] important to you and it filters out everything else.
[6:40] So when you say something with your words that system lights up
[6:44] 100%, it says that this is important to you.
[6:47] So if you say I am suffering from your system, the reticular
[6:53] activating system lights up 100% and it looks to make that true.
[6:57] It validates, it filters out all of the information in the
[7:00] environment and you will only see suffering.
[7:03] It's the glass half full versus the glass half empty.
[7:06] It's the way that you see the world is based on the words that
[7:08] you say because that system lights up.
[7:13] Thank you for listening to the Speedwell moment if it
[7:16] resonated, the full conversation is LinkedIn, the show notes and
[7:20] I hope it gave you a small pause to take a moment for you and to
[7:24] reconnect to living well and being well.
