[1:09] Speaker 1: city of Lille and three other northern cities. France's second
[1:14] Speaker 1: largest city, Marseille, banned gatherings on Monday. Italy's government will
[1:20] Speaker 1: deploy 500 soldiers to Milan after clashes with police and
[1:26] Speaker 1: looting this weekend. In Norway, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met
[1:32] Speaker 1: with US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff yesterday,

[3:02] Speaker 1: the United States, there is a surprisingly close race for
[3:07] Speaker 1: a Kansas Senate seat in the midterm elections in two weeks.
[3:12] Speaker 1: Kansas is considered an overwhelmingly Republican state, and it hasn't
[3:17] Speaker 1: elected a Democrat to the Senate for 94 years. However,
[3:22] Speaker 1: opinion polls are showing Democratic candidate Adam Hamilton neck and
[3:26] Speaker 1: neck with sitting Republican Senator Roger Marshall. Some of the
[3:31] Speaker 1: reasons being given for people moving towards the Democratic candidate
[3:36] Speaker 1: are rising fuel prices, rising costs for farmers, and the
[3:41] Speaker 1: unpopularity of the war in Iran. Opinion polls show that

[5:32] Speaker 1: countries as part of a 2005 agreement. Kenya has said
[5:37] Speaker 1: that it has now recorded nine cases of Ebola in However,
[5:41] Speaker 1: officials say that they are all from the same group
[5:45] Speaker 1: and there is no evidence of transmission outside of the group.

[6:00] Speaker 1: few days, with reports of a worsening humanitarian situation in
[6:05] Speaker 1: the city of almost a million people, the third largest
[6:09] Speaker 1: city in Yemen. Over the last few weeks, there has
[6:13] Speaker 1: been major fighting between the internationally recognised government of Yemen,
[6:18] Speaker 1: which is based in Aden, and the Houthis who control
[6:21] Speaker 1: the capital Sana'a. Over the last few days, the Houthis
