Hello and welcome to Dragonfly Tales a story podcast with Emily and Leo. We hope you like lullabys, as we've made another one. The words come from the wonderful poem by W.B.Yeats called Stolen Child. Where dips the rocky highland Of Sleuth Wood in the lake, There lies a leafy island Where flapping herons wake The drowsy water rats; There we've hid our faery vats, Full of berrys And of reddest stolen cherries. Come away, O human child! To the waters and the wild With a faery, hand in hand, For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand. Our story is an old fairytale from Ireland about a 'changeling'. Changelings feature in lots of folklore and you can find out more about them HERE. Remember to join us over on Patreon.
