[1:10] Speaker 2: of alerts is baffling. I need to talk to somebody.
[1:16] Speaker 2: I had a headache yesterday. I don't have a headache today.
[1:19] Speaker 2: And oh, you know, I feel like I started last
[1:22] Speaker 2: episode kind of saying that Delta Airlines would never find
[1:25] Speaker 2: my lost kindle. Apparently they found it. I can't believe
[1:30] Speaker 2: they found it. They are charging me thirty dollars in
[1:32] Speaker 2: shipping to get it back to me, and I know
[1:35] Speaker 2: how much things cost to ship, and I feel like
[1:38] Speaker 2: I've suffered enough already. It should have been a free
[1:40] Speaker 2: It should have been that should be part of the package.
[1:42] Speaker 2: They should bring it to me, but I'm happy to
[1:45] Speaker 2: get it back, and then I'll return the kindle I
[1:47] Speaker 2: bought in its place. My life is chaos, but I'm shocked.
[1:53] Speaker 2: I couldn't believe that they found it. And I think
[1:55] Speaker 2: that's the important news, and then less import We have

[2:51] Speaker 2: welcome to I said, no gifts.
[2:53] Speaker 4: Is that's the this is news for me. Can I
[2:56] Speaker 4: sit here in silently just take that all in the
[2:59] Speaker 4: amount of age and I think is being directed towards
[3:01] Speaker 4: me at all times? Is in fact I bake and
[3:04] Speaker 4: I am.
[3:05] Speaker 2: No, a lot of that is true.
[3:07] Speaker 4: Oh oh yeah, you're just being nice.
[3:09] Speaker 2: I'm trying to just butter you up, try to get
[3:11] Speaker 2: you in a good place mentally. But most people, good luck,
[3:14] Speaker 2: despise you, thank you, thank you. All of your suspicions
[3:19] Speaker 2: are true. The paranoia, I'm confirming it now.
[3:22] Speaker 4: It's amazing. I actually feel nice right now. Like normally,
[3:25] Speaker 4: I think I would have spun myself out and tricked
[3:28] Speaker 4: you into thinking that it would be fun to like
[3:30] Speaker 4: do a bit where I hate myself, but then it
[3:32] Speaker 4: would actually hurt my feelings. But actually I feel great.
[3:35] Speaker 2: Good. Then we've got you in the perfect spot. And
[3:37] Speaker 2: I'm also noticing this water is in between us. This
[3:41] Speaker 2: is your water.
[3:42] Speaker 4: No what okay, I'm so glad you called it out
[3:45] Speaker 4: because I was not gonna touch it, but I was
[3:47] Speaker 4: gonna want it this whole time.
[3:49] Speaker 2: Just let that be tense.
[3:50] Speaker 4: Why don't you have water?
[3:51] Speaker 2: Well, I have this Lacroix right here. But it's a
[3:53] Speaker 2: nice little is a cozy A cozy. And now that
[3:57] Speaker 2: I've said the name of the drink, I think it's
[3:58] Speaker 2: fine for me to say that behind this.
[4:01] Speaker 4: Don't bleep it.
[4:03] Speaker 2: I have a That's something I've been complaining about the
[4:07] Speaker 2: Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. They're blurring out every soda
[4:09] Speaker 2: on the show, and I know they're diet cokes. Why
[4:12] Speaker 2: are these Yeah, they're clearly diet cokes.
[4:15] Speaker 4: They should put the bring back the black box that
[4:17] Speaker 4: goes over all that.
[4:18] Speaker 2: I love the blurring. I'm blur, the tasteful blur. Give
[4:22] Speaker 2: us the girls gone wild blur. I mean the blood
[4:25] Speaker 2: black box, or the mosaic, the like America's Most Wanted
[4:29] Speaker 2: or crime footage. Yeah, the squares.
[4:31] Speaker 4: Why aren't they doing squares anymore? Should I think that
[4:33] Speaker 4: we're so slick, we're so marvel blind that we need
[4:38] Speaker 4: a blur.
[4:38] Speaker 2: We need a nice little smooth blur. The black box,
[4:41] Speaker 2: I think is a very good idea.
[4:42] Speaker 4: It's just you everybody say, go home to your wives.
[4:45] Speaker 4: You know, like, I have a good day.
[4:47] Speaker 2: And you're just panicking that it could like fly off
[4:49] Speaker 2: at any moment. Yeah, you know, it's like the editor
[4:52] Speaker 2: could have dropped the ball, and then the black box
[4:54] Speaker 2: gets too far off of whatever's being blurred, and then
[4:56] Speaker 2: you get a peek at whatever you want to take
[4:58] Speaker 2: a peek at.
[4:59] Speaker 4: It's compelling, it's very cool. Well, I have two mugs now.
[5:02] Speaker 4: I asked for a mug because the travel mug that
[5:04] Speaker 4: I brought my coffee and is the mug I don't
[5:07] Speaker 4: like because of the sound that the ice makes me.
[5:09] Speaker 2: Oh, it's the sound of the ice.
[5:11] Speaker 4: It's cost the sound of the ice clunking against the
[5:14] Speaker 4: like leeching plastic black lid is like and I don't
[5:20] Speaker 4: want that, but I wanted it. I saw this mug
[5:22] Speaker 4: and I was like, I would like a mug too,
[5:23] Speaker 4: because that's clearly Bridger's water.
[5:26] Speaker 2: And you were so wrong.
[5:27] Speaker 4: I was like, what's wrong with them that they didn't
[5:29] Speaker 4: bring the water? But now I have two beverages, which
[5:31] Speaker 4: is at least that's my minimum.
[5:33] Speaker 2: You should start with two. What should be a water
[5:35] Speaker 2: at all times, yes, just a neutral thing, yeah, and
[5:38] Speaker 2: then whatever you want, oh, this is my fun coffee,
[5:41] Speaker 2: and then maybe a third thing that you're experimenting with.
[5:44] Speaker 2: What look at me, I've just got you know, like
[5:46] Speaker 2: you could have a new flavor of Lacroix that you like,
[5:49] Speaker 2: just grabbed out of the fridge, and you think, oh,
[5:51] Speaker 2: I might not actually like that, so I'll have these
[5:52] Speaker 2: two backups, right, But you only have two and I
[5:55] Speaker 2: only have one. So I'm a hypocrite, you are.
[5:58] Speaker 4: But it's okay.
[5:59] Speaker 2: Did you make that coffe you home?
[6:02] Speaker 3: My?
[6:03] Speaker 4: Oh this is bad. My husband put it in the
[6:05] Speaker 4: tumbler for me and I took it out the door.
[6:08] Speaker 2: That's very nice. It's very Betty Draper, Betty Draper on
[6:12] Speaker 2: the go, he's Betty Draper. Oh for oh interesting, he's Betty.
[6:17] Speaker 4: Yeah, gave me my coffee and I went to.
[6:19] Speaker 2: My car and you drove away.
[6:22] Speaker 4: Yeah, an expensive song plays.
[6:24] Speaker 2: Oh. I mean it's a little spoiler here, but r
[6:29] Speaker 2: I P Betty.
[6:30] Speaker 4: Draper, r P Betty Draper. I thought this was how
[6:35] Speaker 4: I was finding out the January Jones time, and I
[6:36] Speaker 4: was like, I.
[6:37] Speaker 2: Will feel so celebrity spoiler alert of celebrity. We're getting news.
[6:43] Speaker 4: January Jones has been apprehended by federal agents and she
[6:46] Speaker 4: did not survive.
[6:49] Speaker 2: Get a shootout with the FBI. Okay, so your husband,
[6:55] Speaker 2: but did he make the coffee at home or did
[6:56] Speaker 2: he buy.
[6:56] Speaker 4: The we had leftover cold brew from?
[6:59] Speaker 2: Why? Interesting?
[7:00] Speaker 4: And that was exciting.
[7:03] Speaker 2: I love a leftover. I drink leftover cold brew this morning.
[7:06] Speaker 4: Oh really, yes, that's I would ask you your brand.
[7:08] Speaker 4: But now I'm worried about having to bleep it.
[7:10] Speaker 2: Well, we won't have to bleep it. Well, this is
[7:12] Speaker 2: if you want a whole explanation. I usually make mine,
[7:15] Speaker 2: but we've started ordering the grounds from a thing which
[7:18] Speaker 2: I've recently canceled. But we were waiting for the latest batch,
[7:21] Speaker 2: so I hadn't made any. So I went to Starbucks
[7:23] Speaker 2: and bought a giant thing of cold brew, just because
[7:26] Speaker 2: I knew in the morning, yeah, I'm going to need
[7:28] Speaker 2: some sort of coffee and I don't drink hot coffee. Really.
[7:31] Speaker 4: In the afternoon, when you're looking at Pinterest, you're like,
[7:33] Speaker 4: I'm gonna I only ever use cheesecloth and ground beans.
[7:38] Speaker 4: I will never buy a bottle of coffee again. And
[7:40] Speaker 4: in the morning, when you know you have the Starbucks
[7:43] Speaker 4: cold brew bottle in your bridge, oh my gosh, it's well,
[7:48] Speaker 4: it's exists a thrill, it's a birthday feeling.
[7:52] Speaker 2: But the ice cubes in that are beautiful I noticed
[7:55] Speaker 2: when you pour okay and full disclosure, you did dump
[7:57] Speaker 2: part of it on the table.
[7:58] Speaker 4: I that's been clean, pour it all, I said, can
[8:01] Speaker 4: I have a mug and pour on? Elise went out it.
[8:04] Speaker 4: It took one minute and thirty seconds at least to
[8:07] Speaker 4: find the mug, which made me feel guilty. And then
[8:10] Speaker 4: I tried to quickly pour it in here and it's
[8:13] Speaker 4: billed all over the white marble table that I'm realizing
[8:16] Speaker 4: isn't real marble. I felt so guilty.
[8:18] Speaker 2: Actually, oh well, I haven't ever thought about it here.
[8:20] Speaker 2: It's too warm to be marble. It's too warm to
[8:22] Speaker 2: be yeah, oh ice cold Church temperature. I love to
[8:26] Speaker 2: be able to chop meat on this.
[8:28] Speaker 4: You should. I even if you chop meat on this,
[8:30] Speaker 4: you'd immediately make a new salmonella.
[8:32] Speaker 2: This is not no, no, no, this it's too porous.
[8:35] Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I am glad. I was feeling guilty about that.
[8:38] Speaker 4: But then, yeah, so these ice cubes are big, square guys.
[8:41] Speaker 4: Should I pour it out towards camera like a like
[8:44] Speaker 4: a stupid idiot.
[8:45] Speaker 2: It's almost impossible to show that off to camera, I think, But.
[8:50] Speaker 4: Yeah, so these are huge ice cubes. Because I live
[8:52] Speaker 4: with a man who's my husband. And husbands all have
[8:56] Speaker 4: big square ice cube train, right, every husband and comes
[9:00] Speaker 4: with one into that's his dowry and.
[9:04] Speaker 2: That's what you get from the band.
[9:05] Speaker 4: And then only the white plastic ice cube trays disappear
[9:08] Speaker 4: the longer you've been married. And then we now have
[9:11] Speaker 4: two of these, and I don't know where the second
[9:13] Speaker 4: one came from. Interesting, he's not out yeah, and then
[9:16] Speaker 4: he's like, I actually don't like this one, Like, no
[9:19] Speaker 4: one likes it them. Why are they here? But you
[9:21] Speaker 4: need ice so you're not picky?
[9:22] Speaker 2: Is he is this like a like a whiskey thing?
[9:26] Speaker 2: Is it? Like he's got to tell.
[9:27] Speaker 4: Probably what they're for. We're not whiskey guys. But we
[9:31] Speaker 4: both have siblings and siblings in law who don't quite
[9:34] Speaker 4: know us. Soaked we get a lot of whiskey stones,
[9:38] Speaker 4: a lot of wine opens.
[9:40] Speaker 2: I think that's the key to getting nice things, is
[9:42] Speaker 2: people not knowing you.
[9:43] Speaker 4: That well at all. Well, you know, no spoilers, but
[9:48] Speaker 4: that'll be that'll come.
[9:48] Speaker 2: Back sure, sure, yeah, okay, great? Interesting, Well yeah, that's
[9:52] Speaker 2: I think it's a beautiful ice cube and I'm jealous
[9:54] Speaker 2: of it. I mean, it's so gorgeous. They are. I
[9:58] Speaker 2: think that's an inconvenient type of life ice cube.
[10:00] Speaker 4: Do you want me to slide it towards these events?
[10:02] Speaker 3: Yeah?
[10:02] Speaker 2: Because it looks also very clear. You know, it's not
[10:05] Speaker 2: like foggy like this is going to take a picture
[10:08] Speaker 2: if you don't mind off please some Yeah, that's fine.
[10:10] Speaker 2: Just make sure to tag a big square social big
[10:13] Speaker 2: husband ice. Look at that, it's like there's like a
[10:17] Speaker 2: an explosion in it. This is the most beautiful ice
[10:20] Speaker 2: cube I've ever seen.
[10:21] Speaker 4: You got to come and take them out of our house.
[10:23] Speaker 4: I can't see them anymore.
[10:25] Speaker 2: I need to just.
[10:25] Speaker 4: Commit to a new ice cube. But yeah, it is
[10:28] Speaker 4: like a big square cube, which is what a cube is.
[10:30] Speaker 4: But it reminds me of like when you'd order ice
[10:34] Speaker 4: in like the nineteen early nineteen hundreds and they like
[10:36] Speaker 4: cut it out of a lake and it would just
[10:39] Speaker 4: the mountains. Yeah right, we're historians.
[10:45] Speaker 2: They had it in the wagon and they brought it
[10:47] Speaker 2: down from the creek.
[10:50] Speaker 4: And everyone stood on both sides of the road entering
[10:53] Speaker 4: town and clapped.
[10:55] Speaker 2: This is all very relevant to me, and this is
[10:56] Speaker 2: something I talk about too much on this podcast. But
[10:58] Speaker 2: I'm watching The Little House on the prairie for the
[10:59] Speaker 2: first time.
[11:00] Speaker 4: So that's the show, and it's from the fifties or something.
[11:03] Speaker 2: Seventies, seventies about the eighteen hundreds.
[11:07] Speaker 4: Tell me all about it.
[11:08] Speaker 2: You don't know anything about it, Well, I'm aware.
[11:10] Speaker 4: I can picture the color.
[11:11] Speaker 2: Picture the eighteen hundreds, yeap as funneled through the nineteen seventies.
[11:16] Speaker 2: Last night I was watching the plague episode and it's dark.
[11:20] Speaker 2: It truly is like there's some haunting images. There's a
[11:24] Speaker 2: wagon that's being dragged by two horses with no rider
[11:28] Speaker 2: because the two people have died of typhus.
[11:30] Speaker 4: And the horses are dumb. They're like, there's school, go
[11:33] Speaker 4: till someone, so stop, that's the day gooing.
[11:38] Speaker 2: That's a good question, horsob what are we doing? I feel?
[11:42] Speaker 4: So? Did they get lighter? Or am I stronger?
[11:46] Speaker 2: I haven't said anything in a while, but would the
[11:48] Speaker 2: horses just keep moving without direction?
[11:52] Speaker 4: What's your gut?
[11:54] Speaker 2: I think they would? Hard workers, commitment and they love
[11:58] Speaker 2: the job.
[12:00] Speaker 4: Truses are I mean, horses are virgos.
[12:02] Speaker 2: They're absolutely virgoes. Every horse is a virgo. Yeah. I
[12:05] Speaker 2: think that's probably true.
[12:07] Speaker 4: That's why they call it horse season.
[12:09] Speaker 2: Horse season. September but yeah, it's a That episode in
[12:14] Speaker 2: particular was very haunting. The one before it dealt with
[12:17] Speaker 2: an age gap relationship.
[12:19] Speaker 4: Oh, and the direction is what we could guess.
[12:21] Speaker 2: It's well, now I fall asleep a lot, so I
[12:24] Speaker 2: can't remember exactly. You don't know who was older? Oh
[12:26] Speaker 2: who was older? I was. I thought you were gonna
[12:27] Speaker 2: say if it worked out or not, No, because it
[12:29] Speaker 2: doesn't work. I feel like they eventually acknowledge and said
[12:33] Speaker 2: this isn't going to work. The part as friends, they
[12:35] Speaker 2: part of his friends, and this guy is not old,
[12:37] Speaker 2: and it's just like, how did this happen in any
[12:39] Speaker 2: situation there's it's a bad matchup.
[12:42] Speaker 4: Well, it's the prairie, this's the prairie.
[12:44] Speaker 2: He's the town doctor, but the gal is head over
[12:47] Speaker 2: heels for this guy.
[12:49] Speaker 4: A town doctor. Imagine a town doctor.
[12:56] Speaker 2: Well, town doctor who let's everyone in the next episode
[12:58] Speaker 2: die of typhus.
[13:00] Speaker 4: I know he's so broken up.
[13:02] Speaker 2: Yeah, that's probably if she's to blame. It's always the
[13:05] Speaker 2: younger woman is to blame.
[13:07] Speaker 4: Is she a guest star or she's star? So she's
[13:10] Speaker 4: just gone after the relationship.
[13:11] Speaker 2: She vanishes, She's she's in town visiting her maybe her aunt.
[13:18] Speaker 2: I think, okay, and so then when the relationship falls apart,
[13:22] Speaker 2: why stick around?
[13:23] Speaker 4: She walks out of town and throws a vial over
[13:25] Speaker 4: her shoulder that explodes and releases diavis.
[13:29] Speaker 2: It's her rat that gets into the corn feed. They're
[13:32] Speaker 2: rat in the corn feed, Rat in the corn feed.
[13:34] Speaker 2: Classic episode.
[13:35] Speaker 4: I love that show.
[13:36] Speaker 2: You've got to watch it. Everybody's got to watch it.
[13:38] Speaker 2: Mostly sounds. It's a lot, it's really dark. This episode
[13:44] Speaker 2: honestly is largely sound. You see that it opens with
[13:47] Speaker 2: people I now you're talking about this podcast episode, this episode,
[13:52] Speaker 2: this particular podcast episode relying on sound for this one.
[13:56] Speaker 4: The sound episode.
[13:58] Speaker 2: Mostly purely visual, an action kind of a buster keat
[14:02] Speaker 2: and type a show. But this one we're entering the
[14:08] Speaker 2: sound era, and so, okay, great. This episode will be
[14:12] Speaker 2: two voices, a voice of at least two people talking
[14:14] Speaker 2: to each other.
[14:15] Speaker 4: We're trying it out, we're trying it out.
[14:17] Speaker 2: It's experimental. It's an idea show.
[14:20] Speaker 4: It's an idea no wrong answer, no wrong answer.
[14:23] Speaker 2: Yeah, what's going on in your life?
[14:29] Speaker 4: Oh my god? It sucks that you asked that because
[14:32] Speaker 4: the answer is something I would normally avoid, like someone
[14:37] Speaker 4: who Okay, I shot a short film the last two days.
[14:41] Speaker 2: Oh, directed it, yeah, acted in it. No, No, thank god, Okay,
[14:46] Speaker 2: that would be a lot.
[14:47] Speaker 4: Is just so to walk back and forth and look
[14:50] Speaker 4: at yourself on camp Why no, No, I don't ever
[14:53] Speaker 4: need to see a picture of myself ever.
[14:55] Speaker 2: Again.
[14:56] Speaker 4: None that it's bad. It's just I think that humans
[14:58] Speaker 4: weren't supposed to see what they're.
[15:00] Speaker 2: Faces look like. I really don't think we meant to
[15:02] Speaker 2: do it.
[15:03] Speaker 4: That's why we're all mentally ill. That's because we can
[15:05] Speaker 4: see it used to just be like the stream.
[15:08] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, like a glimpse, and you would think it
[15:12] Speaker 2: was another realm.
[15:14] Speaker 4: It's another It's not what God wanted. If God wanted
[15:17] Speaker 4: us to see our faces, he wouldn't have put our
[15:20] Speaker 4: eyes on them.
[15:23] Speaker 2: Wow, I'll say it brought up a good point. Yeah,
[15:26] Speaker 2: but you are directing, and.
[15:28] Speaker 4: Direction wrote yeah, so it was. It was I'm sleepy now,
[15:32] Speaker 4: but it was so cool, it was so fun. We
[15:34] Speaker 4: shot it in this like beautiful old Uh it was
[15:37] Speaker 4: a church campus, church campus, like it was. We were
[15:40] Speaker 4: in a building that wasn't the church building.
[15:43] Speaker 2: Okay.
[15:44] Speaker 4: It was like a big old house with an extra
[15:50] Speaker 4: not the rectory is where is like where the priest
[15:53] Speaker 4: shoot pool.
[15:53] Speaker 2: I think, I don't really know the church and I
[16:00] Speaker 2: know the guys get out of here. But it it was.
[16:06] Speaker 2: It was.
[16:06] Speaker 4: It's called Hamilton. The house itself was called Hamilton House.
[16:10] Speaker 4: It was at the Congregational Church of the Chimes in
[16:12] Speaker 4: Sherman Oaks and it was it just it almost felt
[16:16] Speaker 4: like a summer camp right where because they also had
[16:18] Speaker 4: a summer camp going on. So we were shooting in
[16:21] Speaker 4: this beautiful house that had multiple rooms. It was massive,
[16:25] Speaker 4: which was great. But right outside of it was a
[16:30] Speaker 4: swimming pool where they taught preschoolers swim.
[16:35] Speaker 2: Lessons, okay, and probably baptisms.
[16:37] Speaker 4: Wow. I didn't even think about that.
[16:39] Speaker 2: Might as well if you just blessed the water like
[16:42] Speaker 2: a little bit of summer fun.
[16:44] Speaker 4: I took my kid to go swimming and now he's saved.
[16:48] Speaker 4: What the hell has.
[16:49] Speaker 2: A great idea? Wow, you can teach your child to
[16:53] Speaker 2: swim and have them be born again m secretly secret.
[17:00] Speaker 2: No one needs to know.
[17:01] Speaker 4: No one's doing this, no one needs no one needs
[17:03] Speaker 4: to know that your baptized up for guard. But it
[17:08] Speaker 4: was great that anytime we were in the middle of
[17:12] Speaker 4: I was like, this is it this is the take.
[17:14] Speaker 4: Oh my god, I'm picturing the Laurels. Here they come.
[17:18] Speaker 2: You'd hear ki kick kick good. Yeah, And it was.
[17:23] Speaker 4: Great because people kept saying, kids are screaming outside, and
[17:26] Speaker 4: then my idea was like, it's actually the adults teaching
[17:29] Speaker 4: the kids. The kids are they have their faces in
[17:31] Speaker 4: the water, and the adults are screaming like their kids were.
[17:35] Speaker 2: They were you not warns that there was gonna be
[17:36] Speaker 2: all this noise.
[17:37] Speaker 4: They said sometimes they teach swim lessons, but only from
[17:42] Speaker 4: three pm to seven pm every day. We were like, well,
[17:45] Speaker 4: that's sort of when tough time movies happen. And they
[17:50] Speaker 4: were like, we can just tell them not to come
[17:52] Speaker 4: if you want, and we were like that'd be good.
[17:56] Speaker 4: And but so neither of us were really committing to
[17:58] Speaker 4: saying like, yeah, go tell the kids that I can't
[18:00] Speaker 4: swim in a pool in the summer time.
[18:03] Speaker 2: I think.
[18:03] Speaker 4: I was just like, God's on my side. There's wind
[18:05] Speaker 4: in my sales, it won't be a problem. It was
[18:08] Speaker 4: actually the sound person was like, it's fine, Like it's
[18:11] Speaker 4: really thick glass windows, so she was it was the
[18:14] Speaker 4: opposite where like everyone in the room could hear screaming
[18:17] Speaker 4: and then on the boom mic she was like, no,
[18:18] Speaker 4: it's fine.
[18:19] Speaker 2: That to me sounds wrong. I'm I think your audio's ruined.
[18:24] Speaker 2: I'm always like, if I can hear it, absolutely, If
[18:27] Speaker 2: a microphone can't pick up something, I can hear, the
[18:29] Speaker 2: microphone's broken.
[18:30] Speaker 4: Do you hear a suggestible I am where I'm like,
[18:32] Speaker 4: I don't know how film works, and I'm gonna be
[18:34] Speaker 4: a good collaborator. I'm just gonna say, oh, crossing one eighty,
[18:37] Speaker 4: I'll never understand that day in my life. Ever, I'm
[18:40] Speaker 4: committed to not knowing it. So you tell me that
[18:42] Speaker 4: if we can hear it with our ears but the
[18:44] Speaker 4: mic can't, I'll go that's just another thing that I
[18:46] Speaker 4: don't get at. Okay, and thumbs up.
[18:49] Speaker 2: That's like if I can smell something, I'm like, my
[18:51] Speaker 2: sense of smell is so bad. I'm like, certainly this
[18:53] Speaker 2: is like a statewide issue. Everyone can smell this.
[18:57] Speaker 4: Yeah, well, we're in Burbank, near the the beautiful wastewater treatment.
[19:01] Speaker 2: Plant over in the five and can you smell that when.
[19:04] Speaker 4: You drive past it? It's crazy. Certain times a day
[19:08] Speaker 4: it's by the AMC, the like three AMC's.
[19:11] Speaker 2: Oh yeah, they're at least on the five. Yeah, have
[19:13] Speaker 2: you ever smelled it?
[19:15] Speaker 4: You just haven't been over there at rush hour. I
[19:17] Speaker 4: guess they release all the fart smells at rush hour.
[19:21] Speaker 2: They just open a valve and it just pipes.
[19:24] Speaker 4: As bad as possible. They're like, what if we created
[19:26] Speaker 4: a bad moment for people.
[19:29] Speaker 2: There's also kind of a secret jail right there. Oh,
[19:33] Speaker 2: aware of this? No, it's right by those theaters. No. Yeah,
[19:37] Speaker 2: I park by it because it's the easiest parking over there,
[19:40] Speaker 2: because it's notoriously near the worst parking in the world,
[19:44] Speaker 2: which is dominated by Ross Dress for Less. I don't
[19:47] Speaker 2: know if you've been in that parking garage.
[19:49] Speaker 4: I have, and it doesn't feel good.
[19:51] Speaker 2: It feels baffling. I go in there and I think,
[19:55] Speaker 2: how is Ross just always just overrun with customers? How
[19:59] Speaker 2: are there this many Ross cars? It Also, there's something
[20:02] Speaker 2: about that parking garage that makes me feel like I'm
[20:05] Speaker 2: about to accidentally drive into the store. It's like, keep going,
[20:10] Speaker 2: and it points you towards the door. Really, this isn't right.
[20:14] Speaker 2: They also have a valet for the Ross.
[20:16] Speaker 4: No they don't.
[20:17] Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure they do. I might just be in
[20:20] Speaker 2: a state when I'm in there, and but I'm pretty
[20:23] Speaker 2: sure you can have your car valet at Ross.
[20:25] Speaker 4: Who's valeting their car at Ross?
[20:27] Speaker 2: I guess if there was one place in the world
[20:28] Speaker 2: where I would valet, it would be at a Ross.
[20:31] Speaker 2: Why because I refuse to valet anywhere else. I think
[20:34] Speaker 2: it's too expensive. But I feel like it Ross. They
[20:36] Speaker 2: must have a good deal.
[20:38] Speaker 4: You know that it's the opposite. You know what Ross
[20:41] Speaker 4: I really likes. It's seventy bucks.
[20:44] Speaker 2: And then they park you just like in a tow
[20:46] Speaker 2: zone somewhere else.
[20:47] Speaker 4: They just drive you into the rocks a valet.
[20:53] Speaker 2: Oh my god.
[20:53] Speaker 4: Now there is a one man show if I've ever heard.
[20:55] Speaker 2: It, Oh the Ross valet guy. Oh come on, okay,
[20:59] Speaker 2: what what is the short about? Can you say?
[21:02] Speaker 4: It's about two sisters and their mom just died, and
[21:09] Speaker 4: they're at the funeral and they're about to go to
[21:12] Speaker 4: the cemetery and like close the coffin and go, but
[21:15] Speaker 4: they realize that they haven't decided if their mom would
[21:19] Speaker 4: have wanted to be buried wearing the necklace that she's wearing,
[21:21] Speaker 4: or if she would have wanted them to take it
[21:22] Speaker 4: off and like give it a new life, right, And
[21:26] Speaker 4: it's them having that conversation and then the mom comes
[21:30] Speaker 4: back to get it back at night.
[21:32] Speaker 2: Oh I love this. Yeah, this also reminds me. I
[21:35] Speaker 2: just watched The Mortician. I don't know if you watched that.
[21:37] Speaker 4: I watched it. I have a friend who lives near
[21:39] Speaker 4: that place.
[21:40] Speaker 2: No, we have you driven past?
[21:43] Speaker 4: Yeah?
[21:44] Speaker 2: What's left?
[21:44] Speaker 4: It's a lamp store now.
[21:46] Speaker 2: Oh, good lamps expensive?
[21:48] Speaker 4: I may The lamp industry is not not romanticized about anything.
[21:52] Speaker 2: No, they're like, you don't care.
[21:54] Speaker 4: What whose teeth got pulled out to be sold?
[21:57] Speaker 2: You will have got dragged off a body? It het frosts.
[22:01] Speaker 4: Do you think you'd be a good cremation worker?
[22:05] Speaker 3: No?
[22:06] Speaker 4: What job would you want in a crooked funeral home?
[22:09] Speaker 2: In a crooked funeral home, yes, I would probably want
[22:12] Speaker 2: to be. I would want to be doing the flowers
[22:14] Speaker 2: and overcharging for flowers. That's the easiest, cleanest job. You know,
[22:18] Speaker 2: everybody overcharges for flowers, so you don't feel as bad
[22:21] Speaker 2: about it. You're just in your shop, just in my shop.
[22:25] Speaker 2: You're not going where they're doing it, not smelling the
[22:28] Speaker 2: various things, not saying I couldn't deal with the bodies.
[22:33] Speaker 2: What would you do?
[22:34] Speaker 4: Is there a job that you clean up like little
[22:38] Speaker 4: trash that's been left in the the chapels.
[22:41] Speaker 2: Like various like Dorito's bags and cigarettes.
[22:45] Speaker 4: No, like indoor trash, like a little dixie cup.
[22:47] Speaker 2: That's what I'm talking about, funeral goers like popcorn buckets.
[22:51] Speaker 2: It's not Joe, try my grandma. Yeah, up the chapel.
[22:57] Speaker 4: I think that's a job, big gulf cups, a sweeper.
[23:01] Speaker 4: This is the problem, though, is I don't think there's
[23:03] Speaker 4: any good jobs.
[23:05] Speaker 2: I think.
[23:06] Speaker 4: If you're the flowers person, you're also you're in it.
[23:10] Speaker 2: You're in it, you're experiencing it being you're getting paid
[23:13] Speaker 2: too much. The mom who's pulling all the strings, you know,
[23:16] Speaker 2: because she was so heavily involved.
[23:17] Speaker 4: They loved her.
[23:18] Speaker 2: Everyone loved her. And she was a villain, an absolute devil.
[23:22] Speaker 4: She's the devil, but everyone talked about her just so rapturously.
[23:27] Speaker 2: Well, I guess she was a really sweet gal. Outside
[23:29] Speaker 2: of just robbing the general public and kind of orchestrating
[23:33] Speaker 2: all these bodies being burned at once. She had a
[23:36] Speaker 2: lot of good ideas.
[23:37] Speaker 4: It's bad And then when her son got caught and
[23:39] Speaker 4: went to prison, her son's wife was like, I can't
[23:44] Speaker 4: feed my children, and this beautiful, lovely woman told her
[23:48] Speaker 4: to go on food stamps instead of giving her money
[23:51] Speaker 4: for the grave robbing business that she profited off of.
[23:57] Speaker 2: Once you put a lot of hard work into that shed,
[24:00] Speaker 2: you know what she earned it.
[24:02] Speaker 4: This is why people with money have money is because
[24:04] Speaker 4: they save their money.
[24:05] Speaker 2: Yes, they save and earned they do. No one has
[24:08] Speaker 2: ever gotten money dishonestly. When you earn it, you deserve it,
[24:11] Speaker 2: and you shouldn't give it to other people, most all
[24:14] Speaker 2: your daughter in law and grandchildren.
[24:16] Speaker 4: What are kids gonna do with money? Why everyone's like
[24:20] Speaker 4: child support? Why does a kid they don't even have wallets?
[24:25] Speaker 4: Why is a kid using money for?
[24:28] Speaker 2: Yeah, there's something that you just had a huge problem
[24:30] Speaker 2: in the system.
[24:31] Speaker 4: I don't get it.
[24:35] Speaker 2: Can someone explain to me child explain it?
[24:37] Speaker 4: Like I'm vie.
[24:40] Speaker 2: For what? Well? Yeah, I think I probably would either
[24:48] Speaker 2: be the mom or the flower flop.
[24:50] Speaker 4: I think those are great answering. I honestly, I had
[24:53] Speaker 4: a phase where I wanted to become a funeral director.
[24:55] Speaker 4: Really yeah, at one age thirty four, So recently I
[25:03] Speaker 4: looked into it. There's a college nearby, you can get
[25:06] Speaker 4: the Pasadena. Yeah, Pasadena, like invented.
[25:09] Speaker 2: What's going on on death?
[25:12] Speaker 4: What's going on in Pasadena?
[25:13] Speaker 2: There's there's a lot of the occults. There's a lot
[25:16] Speaker 2: of things happening there.
[25:18] Speaker 4: You're right, there is the call the JPL.
[25:20] Speaker 2: There's the JPL cult and yeah, and how did that happen?
[25:23] Speaker 2: Because it was kind of sci fi cults, the devil
[25:27] Speaker 2: it was.
[25:27] Speaker 4: Yeah, it was like the scientists were also like sort
[25:31] Speaker 4: of Alistair Crowley.
[25:32] Speaker 2: I say, number one Satanist Alistair Crowley.
[25:35] Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know. It's beautiful there.
[25:38] Speaker 2: It's gorgeous.
[25:38] Speaker 4: You need to invent something that's darker.
[25:41] Speaker 2: People have big houses. They're bored.
[25:43] Speaker 4: The houses are scary there.
[25:45] Speaker 2: Ye, people are like, oh my house is scary. What
[25:47] Speaker 2: should I do?
[25:47] Speaker 4: I will worship Saytan, Yeah, what were we talking about?
[25:53] Speaker 4: Oh that I I honestly, unfortunately, do think that I
[25:57] Speaker 4: would want to be down there mixing it up with
[26:00] Speaker 4: the tooth pluckers.
[26:02] Speaker 2: You would what?
[26:04] Speaker 4: Not because I want to, but because that seems like
[26:08] Speaker 4: the hardest, worst job, and that is sort of what
[26:11] Speaker 4: I gravitate towards.
[26:13] Speaker 2: You want to just miserable work.
[26:16] Speaker 4: Yeah, I want to be squeezed hard.
[26:19] Speaker 2: What's the most miserable job? You've ever had.
[26:22] Speaker 4: That's such a good question. Miserable. I had a job
[26:28] Speaker 4: after college working for a fabric manufacturer or a fabric
[26:34] Speaker 4: importer okay, okay, which was a woman. It was a
[26:36] Speaker 4: business run by a woman who lived in Chelsea, and
[26:40] Speaker 4: it was like she would have an assistant that rotated
[26:42] Speaker 4: around different UCB people. And the job was cold calling
[26:48] Speaker 4: fabric wholesalers to try to get them to buy a
[26:54] Speaker 4: like bulk orders of fabric.
[26:57] Speaker 2: How successful could that possibly be?
[27:00] Speaker 4: I don't know. I'll tell you something. They were not
[27:04] Speaker 4: successful when I was working there because I didn't The
[27:07] Speaker 4: only words I remember are ponting knit. So I was
[27:10] Speaker 4: calling places that I didn't know. I don't like talking
[27:13] Speaker 4: to people I don't know sure, and trying to sell
[27:16] Speaker 4: them something that I didn't understand and had never seen.
[27:20] Speaker 4: And I also was in charge of logging my own hours,
[27:23] Speaker 4: and because I didn't understand it at all, I spend
[27:26] Speaker 4: a lot of time trying like being shy, Right, I
[27:31] Speaker 4: guess I've had my hours because I spent so little
[27:33] Speaker 4: time working. Does that make sense?
[27:35] Speaker 2: A lot of us just spent stuttering.
[27:36] Speaker 4: And yet if you have a pit in your stomach,
[27:39] Speaker 4: that's actually working.
[27:41] Speaker 2: Oh, that's regardless of if you're working or not. I
[27:44] Speaker 2: would argue, that's more than working, that's double time time.
[27:47] Speaker 4: Yeah. So then she was I made no sales for her,
[27:50] Speaker 4: and after like a month she was looking at my time.
[27:52] Speaker 4: She's like, how is this possible? You work ten hours
[27:58] Speaker 4: this whole week and you sold nothing?
[28:03] Speaker 2: Did she pay for them?
[28:05] Speaker 4: She paid me out and then fired.
[28:06] Speaker 2: Me, but she continued to hire UCB people. I don't
[28:10] Speaker 2: know what she did. Number one comedy nerd, this fabric saleswoman.
[28:15] Speaker 4: Do you want to buy Ponting knit?
[28:17] Speaker 2: Sure? Tell me about it.
[28:19] Speaker 4: No, I can't, And I don't want to be talking
[28:24] Speaker 4: to you at all right now. A shy doorder door salesman.
[28:27] Speaker 2: That's that's what I would be.
[28:29] Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I think you'd be a great doorder door salesman.
[28:32] Speaker 2: So insulting.
[28:34] Speaker 4: That is insulting. I'm sorry. You're friendly and you have
[28:37] Speaker 4: a nice voice.
[28:38] Speaker 2: I would be horrible. I would crumble, what kind of
[28:40] Speaker 2: horrible would you be? I don't like talking to people
[28:43] Speaker 2: I don't know. Really, I don't like imposing, Okay, I don't.
[28:48] Speaker 2: I'm just a bad salesperson, to be honest, I've been
[28:51] Speaker 2: in I've been in SALESI ish jobs and been so bad.
[28:54] Speaker 4: As what described to me as sales issue.
[28:56] Speaker 2: Let's see it. The first one that comes to I've
[28:59] Speaker 2: both were kind of retailish. One was Apple store that
[29:03] Speaker 2: is a social owner, and I an Apple computer at
[29:08] Speaker 2: the time, so I was not only trying to sell
[29:10] Speaker 2: these things. I didn't know anything about them because I
[29:12] Speaker 2: didn't I owned an iPod.
[29:14] Speaker 4: No, so I titled genius.
[29:17] Speaker 2: Thank God they didn't let me see as a genius.
[29:21] Speaker 2: A genius. I don't know anything, Please God, No, I
[29:25] Speaker 2: let no one ask me a question today because I
[29:28] Speaker 2: don't know anything. That's how I felt. So I was
[29:29] Speaker 2: like I would just kind of like not make eye
[29:31] Speaker 2: contact with customers and kind of just buzz around and
[29:34] Speaker 2: try to stay near music stuff so I can answer
[29:36] Speaker 2: questions about iPods.
[29:38] Speaker 4: Oh no, I.
[29:39] Speaker 2: Think it was probably like six months before I actually
[29:41] Speaker 2: because then they give you a discount on a computer
[29:42] Speaker 2: because I think they're like, please God, buy one of
[29:44] Speaker 2: our products. So I bought I think six months in.
[29:47] Speaker 2: But then I think I worked for eight months total
[29:49] Speaker 2: or something, and then I went back to work. But
[29:52] Speaker 2: whatever that one, and then I worked at best Buy
[29:54] Speaker 2: selling and as a cashier. This thing you have to
[29:57] Speaker 2: sell is product replacement plans, which is like insurance on
[30:01] Speaker 2: your CD player or whatever, and then free subscriptions to
[30:05] Speaker 2: Entertainment Weekly or Sports Illustrated.
[30:08] Speaker 4: That's the scammiest shit. You were also pitch it to
[30:11] Speaker 4: them at the registered Yes, what would you say.
[30:14] Speaker 2: Would you like to sign up for eight free weeks
[30:16] Speaker 2: of Entertainment Weekly or Sports Illustrated? To like, what the
[30:18] Speaker 2: fuck I'm buying headphones that I'm gonna return? What do
[30:21] Speaker 2: you talk? Why are we talking?
[30:23] Speaker 4: Yeah?
[30:24] Speaker 2: And then then you like had to then you would
[30:26] Speaker 2: hope that the man manager wasn't nearby because you could
[30:29] Speaker 2: be like, you can just give me your credit card
[30:31] Speaker 2: number and then cancel right here, because you know, you're
[30:33] Speaker 2: like just trying to get people to sign up for
[30:35] Speaker 2: these things.
[30:36] Speaker 4: Did you have a quota?
[30:37] Speaker 2: Of course, there was a whole thing, and then fuck,
[30:39] Speaker 2: you didn't make commission, So it's like, why am I
[30:41] Speaker 2: doing it?
[30:42] Speaker 4: It's pressure. I worked at Victoria's Secret for a little
[30:44] Speaker 4: bit and they try to get us to get people
[30:46] Speaker 4: to sign up for the bullshit in store credit cards
[30:49] Speaker 4: and they were like, you need to do one per
[30:51] Speaker 4: shift at least. That's a lot and I was like,
[30:55] Speaker 4: I will not. I think I worked there for a
[30:58] Speaker 4: few months and I, oh, it's got one person to
[31:01] Speaker 4: do it. And then she couldn't find her driver's license.
[31:04] Speaker 4: Gives you so close?
[31:05] Speaker 2: Can you pitch me on a Victoria's Secret credit card?
[31:15] Speaker 2: An underwear card? Sure that sounds good? Oh no, oh no, no,
[31:25] Speaker 2: it's horrible.
[31:25] Speaker 4: And you're interested in signing up for an Angel's card.
[31:28] Speaker 2: Oh that's what they're called angels.
[31:29] Speaker 4: I my mouth remembered it, my brain did card. You
[31:32] Speaker 4: seem to really easily remember.
[31:35] Speaker 2: Oh, like that came out of me, Like, I mean,
[31:36] Speaker 2: this is such a long time ago. This is brainwashing, brainwashing. Yeah,
[31:41] Speaker 2: I've been brainwashed. Yeah, and people don't talk about that
[31:43] Speaker 2: enough about me, what I've been through.
[31:46] Speaker 4: What do you want them to say in your fantasy?
[31:48] Speaker 2: What do they say he was brainwashed? I think that's easy.
[31:53] Speaker 4: Spread the word he was brainwashed. And look at him now,
[31:57] Speaker 4: and look at him now, he's doing so good. That's
[32:00] Speaker 4: so sweet.
[32:02] Speaker 2: Spread the word.
[32:03] Speaker 3: Well.
[32:03] Speaker 2: I think, look, there's something else we have to talk about. Yes,
[32:07] Speaker 2: another thing I'm not that comfortable talking about. I was
[32:10] Speaker 2: so happy you would be on the podcast. I was
[32:12] Speaker 2: really excited you would come and do the show. Thought,
[32:14] Speaker 2: Anna will come by. We'll have a nice conversation, you
[32:18] Speaker 2: will share secrets. We'll get into it and have a
[32:21] Speaker 2: nice time, and then our lives will move on. The
[32:24] Speaker 2: podcast is called I Said No Gifts. I don't know
[32:28] Speaker 2: if you got an email or a call or anything. Okay,
[32:31] Speaker 2: interesting because you did kind of walk into the studio.
[32:35] Speaker 2: I would say, kind of stride into the studio today
[32:38] Speaker 2: holding what's obviously a gift. Yeah, okay, is that for me?
[32:46] Speaker 2: Well yeah, okay, I skim the email. Oh you're a skimmer.
[32:51] Speaker 4: Yeah, but it did say please bring a gift.
[32:54] Speaker 2: Oh. Interesting.
[32:54] Speaker 4: On the podcast, make sure it's wrapped, because that's part
[32:57] Speaker 4: of it. It's funny that it's called I Said No Gifts,
[33:00] Speaker 4: and the joke will be that you bring one, and
[33:03] Speaker 4: then he'll act offended.
[33:04] Speaker 2: That is not in the email. Yes, it is absolutely
[33:08] Speaker 2: not in the email. And the email went like this,
[33:11] Speaker 2: It was moving its head all around. Well, okay, so
[33:14] Speaker 2: you've come here to lie in my to my face,
[33:16] Speaker 2: Lie in your face, lie in my face, lie in
[33:20] Speaker 2: my arms. As I whispered you lie in your that
[33:24] Speaker 2: I'm ready.
[33:26] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[33:26] Speaker 2: Should I open it here on the podcast? Yes?
[33:31] Speaker 4: Okay, I'm giving you a gift that's a classic me gift,
[33:35] Speaker 4: which is so tall, an insecure gift that's a bunch
[33:40] Speaker 4: of stuff, okay, a grab bag. Is this not okay?
[33:44] Speaker 2: That's here?
[33:45] Speaker 4: If it's not okay, I have a thing that I
[33:47] Speaker 4: want you to pull out from it.
[33:49] Speaker 2: It's okay, it's okay, Okay, it's Okayause I know that
[33:51] Speaker 2: that's cheating.
[33:52] Speaker 4: But this is the way that I give gifts with
[33:54] Speaker 4: friends is I feel insecure, and I put too much
[33:57] Speaker 4: stuff in, and I put it in like an ironic
[33:58] Speaker 4: leftover bag. This is an edible arrangements bouquet bag. I
[34:04] Speaker 4: wrote on an awards show, and Edible Arrangements sent three
[34:07] Speaker 4: arrangements that were my size and a big, beautiful bouquet
[34:10] Speaker 4: of like eighty flowers, Oh my god, and no one
[34:13] Speaker 4: touched any of it. Of course, I ate so much
[34:15] Speaker 4: fruit I almost died. And then I took home the flowers,
[34:18] Speaker 4: which were all dead.
[34:19] Speaker 2: What were the arrangements fruit? Like? What was the shape like?
[34:23] Speaker 4: I don't The shape was like a hot air balloon.
[34:26] Speaker 4: But all of it was like the wedges of it.
[34:28] Speaker 4: It wasn't like a little chunk of melon. It was
[34:31] Speaker 4: like an entire crescent of honeydew, but naked.
[34:35] Speaker 2: Interesting. I love honey honey.
[34:37] Speaker 4: Oh my god, I was dressed. I was like, these
[34:39] Speaker 4: all have to get eaten.
[34:41] Speaker 2: Was edible arrangements to funerals? God, I bet they do
[34:46] Speaker 2: have a nice fruit wreath in front of the tall
[34:49] Speaker 2: this is it's a tall in this.
[34:54] Speaker 4: Yeah, and it's great for a bouquet because you can
[34:55] Speaker 4: put water in the bottom of the bag.
[34:57] Speaker 2: Oh yeah, of course. Yeah. Okay, so we're opening it.
[35:00] Speaker 2: It's a very tall, kind of transparent bag from edible
[35:03] Speaker 2: Arrangements and with this gorgeous sage ribbon that I'm struggling
[35:09] Speaker 2: right here we go. Okay, so time does it matter?
[35:11] Speaker 1: No?
[35:11] Speaker 4: I thought we'd just play.
[35:13] Speaker 2: My arm isn't long enough to get to the bottom
[35:15] Speaker 2: of stick.
[35:16] Speaker 4: Put it on the floor and then reach it.
[35:17] Speaker 2: Does it even further away my body?
[35:20] Speaker 1: Yeah?
[35:21] Speaker 2: Does it matter which thing I bring up first? No,
[35:23] Speaker 2: it's going to be like jazz okay, of course, kind
[35:26] Speaker 2: of a jazz guy. Okay, Oh this is great. Already
[35:30] Speaker 2: we've got a beautiful uh slinky radio rainbow slinky.
[35:35] Speaker 4: I don't know when I got that, but it is
[35:37] Speaker 4: unopened new inbox. Mint condition, and I be, and I
[35:43] Speaker 4: keep it in a little pile of things for if
[35:47] Speaker 4: I have a friend with a kid who comes over.
[35:49] Speaker 4: This is my pile of children, like the.
[35:51] Speaker 2: Person you are. It's like a dentist office treasure box.
[35:53] Speaker 4: Well this is I think this is the last one
[35:56] Speaker 4: of two things.
[35:56] Speaker 2: Oh there were two objects.
[35:58] Speaker 4: Yeah, but I've lost confidence in a kid being interested
[36:01] Speaker 4: in overtime.
[36:02] Speaker 2: Now I've never seen a slinking Is this a spine
[36:05] Speaker 2: on it?
[36:06] Speaker 4: Yeah, it's it's never stuck together a little bit. Oh
[36:08] Speaker 4: it's also quite old.
[36:09] Speaker 2: Yeah, like it's like sealed. Yeah. Isn't that fun? Oh yeah,
[36:15] Speaker 2: crack the spine on that baby, careful, be careful, snatch
[36:22] Speaker 2: it out of my hands. Okay, now it's tied into them.
[36:25] Speaker 4: Oh he likes you.
[36:28] Speaker 2: This could be the rest of the episode. Is me
[36:29] Speaker 2: now being wait.
[36:30] Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, just okay, Now push the part that you
[36:32] Speaker 4: have in your right hands.
[36:33] Speaker 2: Yeah, there you go it stressful see directing? Wow where
[36:36] Speaker 2: did you oh did you can't get Where did you
[36:39] Speaker 2: get this? I don't know.
[36:41] Speaker 4: It's been in the do children like this pile for
[36:44] Speaker 4: so long? I think I got it as like there
[36:47] Speaker 4: were leftover prizes at a dunk tank or something.
[36:49] Speaker 2: I have no idea. It's beautiful. I've never seen a
[36:53] Speaker 2: rainbow slinking like I only ever see the metal ones.
[36:57] Speaker 4: Wow, those are like the historic ones.
[37:00] Speaker 2: What did you do? I broke it? No, it's just
[37:04] Speaker 2: break it. Don't you try to.
[37:06] Speaker 4: I'm just amazing.
[37:08] Speaker 2: It's like it ruined here. You can like this like this.
[37:13] Speaker 2: It's good for like a phone call. I like to
[37:15] Speaker 2: have a thing on a phone call that I can
[37:17] Speaker 2: play with, like a fidget spinner.
[37:18] Speaker 4: Like a fidget spinner, you can go like that. You
[37:23] Speaker 4: can try to get it to go downstairs. But the
[37:25] Speaker 4: small ones just do that.
[37:26] Speaker 2: They kind of just die.
[37:27] Speaker 4: They fall diacic.
[37:28] Speaker 2: Looks like it has lost its skeleton or something. Let's
[37:31] Speaker 2: see if we can do it off. I think it
[37:33] Speaker 2: fell down.
[37:34] Speaker 4: That's the cool thing about slinkies is if you drop
[37:36] Speaker 4: them off a table, they fall down.
[37:38] Speaker 2: That's why they called it that. I honestly with without stairs,
[37:43] Speaker 2: I don't really see the point of a slinking.
[37:45] Speaker 4: It's to do exactly what you're doing right now.
[37:47] Speaker 2: This is them. This is like the reason you have
[37:49] Speaker 2: a slinky is to kind of just accordion style.
[37:52] Speaker 4: Oh and you can also hold it.
[37:53] Speaker 2: Actually, a little closer to the mic so we can
[37:55] Speaker 2: get that asmr oh.
[37:57] Speaker 4: Yeah like that, yeah and also yeah, like back and
[38:04] Speaker 4: forth like like that. Well, when there's a kink in it,
[38:06] Speaker 4: it doesn't slink as much.
[38:08] Speaker 2: There's no kink in it. Yeah, I like that.
[38:13] Speaker 4: You're smiling now.
[38:13] Speaker 2: I feel I've never done this with the slinky before.
[38:16] Speaker 4: Really, that's the whole thing I've done with slinkies.
[38:19] Speaker 2: Evidently, the one thing you're supposed to do with it.
[38:21] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[38:21] Speaker 2: Oh, I like it a lot.
[38:23] Speaker 4: The slinkies that can go downstairs. You need the metal heft.
[38:27] Speaker 2: To do the plastics not going plastics.
[38:29] Speaker 4: It can try, but it will it'll fall.
[38:32] Speaker 2: How often are you having like a long phone call.
[38:36] Speaker 4: I'm a verbal thinker, so all the time really just
[38:39] Speaker 4: takes a.
[38:40] Speaker 2: While, Like daily you'll have multiple long for I mean no.
[38:44] Speaker 4: Like I would say, a long phone call is like
[38:47] Speaker 4: an eleven minute phone call. Oh okay, where I need
[38:50] Speaker 4: to have my hands doing something, right. Do you ever
[38:53] Speaker 4: get off a phone call and look down and you've
[38:55] Speaker 4: made like a hereditary, weird haunted like doll out of
[38:59] Speaker 4: like paper clips and like bobby pins and stuff.
[39:03] Speaker 2: I hang up and I'm like, what did I make.
[39:06] Speaker 2: I wonder it's kind of like automatic writing or something
[39:08] Speaker 2: where your brain is one place and your hand is
[39:11] Speaker 2: doing something else.
[39:11] Speaker 4: It's fucked up. The devil is working through my hands,
[39:13] Speaker 4: the devil when I'm going right, okay, yeah, yeah.
[39:17] Speaker 2: That sounds good. I like to doodle while I'm on
[39:20] Speaker 2: a long phone call. What do you?
[39:21] Speaker 4: What kind of do? What are your classic go to witch?
[39:24] Speaker 2: I love a little witch witch. Yeah, little people, various
[39:27] Speaker 2: small people.
[39:28] Speaker 4: Whole body or face.
[39:30] Speaker 2: I start with face, and then I'm not as good
[39:32] Speaker 2: with body and arms and hands. It gets harder as
[39:36] Speaker 2: you go down. But with a witch you kind of
[39:38] Speaker 2: have a like you know, a dress is not hard
[39:41] Speaker 2: to draw, A little striped legs are not hard to draw.
[39:44] Speaker 4: And the curly shoe, that's.
[39:45] Speaker 2: The curly shoes so fun. The little boot with a
[39:47] Speaker 2: heel a wizard, that's an easy one to draw.
[39:51] Speaker 4: Oh you can do that too. That's another thing. You
[39:53] Speaker 4: can go like, what the hell?
[39:56] Speaker 2: And you can also put it on your wrist like
[39:59] Speaker 2: a bracelet. I wonder if that'll fit over my hand.
[40:01] Speaker 2: Oh that looks good.
[40:02] Speaker 4: Actually, I was really scared. That was the feeling of
[40:04] Speaker 4: getting in a roller coaster seat where you're like, am
[40:06] Speaker 4: I gonna fit? This is gonna be embarrassing.
[40:08] Speaker 2: I wonder if my hands are I'm putting for.
[40:13] Speaker 4: The listener he's trying to put it on.
[40:17] Speaker 2: We're gonna have to butter up my.
[40:18] Speaker 4: Thick thumb joint. It's is a handsome feature.
[40:23] Speaker 2: Oh I guess you can kind of just cheat it.
[40:25] Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly.
[40:26] Speaker 2: Oh well, this is can fit on anyone. It's rest them.
[40:29] Speaker 2: That's not if you've got the time.
[40:31] Speaker 4: If you got the time, and it feels nice to
[40:34] Speaker 4: go like this when it's on your wrist, like move
[40:36] Speaker 4: your hand back and forth because it'll go like.
[40:39] Speaker 2: Get this on completely. This is really for you.
[40:43] Speaker 4: Look like you're from the future.
[40:44] Speaker 2: Now, Oh my god, I look so good. I'll look
[40:46] Speaker 2: at that. It looks good. Everyone loves it on me,
[40:52] Speaker 2: they do, okay, and I'm gonna use it to reach
[40:54] Speaker 2: into the bag again. Oh my god.
[40:56] Speaker 4: Okay, great.
[40:57] Speaker 2: There's so many objects in here, a lot. You're a
[41:01] Speaker 2: bad uh. I was gonna say a bad game game
[41:04] Speaker 2: is called bad Choice.
[41:06] Speaker 4: This is a a type of what's it called Cards
[41:10] Speaker 4: against Humanity type game that is a spin off that's a.
[41:15] Speaker 2: Different company, Okay, different company.
[41:17] Speaker 4: In bookstores or target. There is an entire half of
[41:22] Speaker 4: an aisle that's this kind of thing, right, and this
[41:27] Speaker 4: is like it pull out, just pull out a card.
[41:30] Speaker 4: It's called bad choices. This was given to us by selus.
[41:34] Speaker 4: It's given to us by people who love cards against humanity.
[41:39] Speaker 2: Which I'm trying to neutral. Yeah, trying? Okay, great, and
[41:45] Speaker 2: keep the party going. Okay, let's pull a card out.
[41:48] Speaker 2: This says, would you ever lie about a person to
[41:50] Speaker 2: get them fired? Sure? Yeah?
[41:56] Speaker 4: The conversation ends after are you a piece of shit?
[42:00] Speaker 4: Keep going?
[42:01] Speaker 2: I do it constantly. I found somebody who ever?
[42:03] Speaker 4: Let I need more context.
[42:05] Speaker 2: Okay, let's see here. Would you spend the night in
[42:08] Speaker 2: a full porta potty for ten thousand dollars? See, this
[42:11] Speaker 2: is where you know my attitude towards the game is
[42:13] Speaker 2: getting worse and worse.
[42:14] Speaker 4: Would you?
[42:16] Speaker 2: I would? I would spend the night like buried, like
[42:19] Speaker 2: in a coffin for twenty dollars? What are we talking about?
[42:24] Speaker 2: Sounds nice? Some quiet? It's a little float tank. Ten
[42:30] Speaker 2: thousand dollars? Ye have course?
[42:31] Speaker 4: How long is a night?
[42:33] Speaker 2: That's nothing? Which you would? Yeah? My superpower is I
[42:38] Speaker 2: don't mind porta potties? Oh interesting, I can hang with it.
[42:41] Speaker 4: I think it's the same part of me that would
[42:42] Speaker 4: want to be ripping out teeth. Oh right, most people
[42:45] Speaker 4: would hate this, and I can put up with anything.
[42:47] Speaker 2: I almost feel like it's the cleaner smell in a
[42:49] Speaker 2: porta potty that's the real problem. Yeah, that stuff.
[42:53] Speaker 4: Is how would you describe that smell?
[42:56] Speaker 2: Like the smell of a gag? Do you know what
[42:59] Speaker 2: I mean? That's it's like so, I mean, it's just
[43:02] Speaker 2: horrible industrial Okay, let's get one more out of here.
[43:05] Speaker 2: Out of bad choices the game and this is like
[43:07] Speaker 2: a wild card. Have you ever had more than eight
[43:11] Speaker 2: shots in one night? Yeah? I love These are yes
[43:18] Speaker 2: or no questions. It really is just people contending with
[43:22] Speaker 2: am i abusis shit. And then I guess like at
[43:25] Speaker 2: some point the box just goes to the side and
[43:27] Speaker 2: then everyone continue trying to make anyone looks at their feet. Yeah.
[43:32] Speaker 2: I don't know if this is how you feel about
[43:35] Speaker 2: this style of game, Cards against Humanity, whatever, where it
[43:38] Speaker 2: kind of is like trying to make you feel like
[43:40] Speaker 2: a naughty person or whatever. Yes, it's very like morning radio.
[43:46] Speaker 4: It's like it's for religious people to be like, I
[43:50] Speaker 4: can't believe I did a crazy thing last night, right,
[43:53] Speaker 4: and the crazy thing was would you kiss an ant
[43:57] Speaker 4: for a hundred donuts? You're like that was crazy?
[44:04] Speaker 2: Yeah, they And sometimes you get drawn into these, you know,
[44:09] Speaker 2: like you'll go to an event or a party or
[44:11] Speaker 2: something and someone's playing it and then the feeling for
[44:13] Speaker 2: me couldn't be worse.
[44:17] Speaker 4: The feeling for me couldn't be worse too, And the
[44:21] Speaker 4: worst part of it, the feeling is the worst when
[44:24] Speaker 4: you see the game, like the game's already on the
[44:26] Speaker 4: table and then the hand is taking the lid off
[44:29] Speaker 4: of the box, because then you know you're in.
[44:32] Speaker 2: You're for at least like six rounds, and then you
[44:36] Speaker 2: have to you can't be like a like a sore party.
[44:40] Speaker 2: What is a sour post a sore participant participant? You
[44:44] Speaker 2: don't want to be like the drag at the party.
[44:46] Speaker 2: But it's like, oh, what do you look at? You're
[44:48] Speaker 2: doing to me? This isn't who I am, And I
[44:51] Speaker 2: have to like throw myself in because I am competitive
[44:53] Speaker 2: and I'll feel bad if I lose.
[44:55] Speaker 4: Yeah, would you ever fuck a chair or.
[44:58] Speaker 2: Kiss hi? Or I'm like what it's always obviously it's
[45:04] Speaker 2: your birthday?
[45:04] Speaker 4: What are we talking about?
[45:05] Speaker 3: This?
[45:06] Speaker 2: Horrible and I would do both. I would do it.
[45:09] Speaker 4: I have to pick only one.
[45:13] Speaker 2: Yeah, I uh, there's another game that's that kind of
[45:15] Speaker 2: walk walks the line of this. I don't know if
[45:17] Speaker 2: you've ever played Quiplash, yes, which was kind of my
[45:21] Speaker 2: hell through the pandemic.
[45:22] Speaker 4: That's hard.
[45:23] Speaker 2: You know. People would be like, let's have a game
[45:25] Speaker 2: night on Zoom.
[45:27] Speaker 4: Yeah, and it's the only way you can get social.
[45:29] Speaker 2: Interaction with your friends.
[45:31] Speaker 4: But oh, that's really I happen to enjoy those games
[45:35] Speaker 4: you do. But I like playing it with other comedy
[45:40] Speaker 4: people because then it's us just writing like poop poop
[45:42] Speaker 4: peepee and that like seeing the game like flip a
[45:46] Speaker 4: thing around and it says like doodoo diarrhea likes. That's
[45:51] Speaker 4: the appeal for me. But when I'm playing with non
[45:53] Speaker 4: comedians and it's like the way that it's supposed to
[45:56] Speaker 4: be played, I feel so competitive and inane. I'm like,
[46:01] Speaker 4: I don't like I don't like who I am right.
[46:03] Speaker 2: Now, right, I'm fine with them if Yeah, everybody's on
[46:05] Speaker 2: board from the beginning of just like, let we're destroying
[46:07] Speaker 2: the game. We know what this is. Yeah, I also
[46:11] Speaker 2: don't mind one. That's mind one that's more like neutral,
[46:13] Speaker 2: like an apples to apples. Yeah, where it's like it's
[46:19] Speaker 2: just very neutral words on cards.
[46:21] Speaker 4: I also I have I don't like apples.
[46:24] Speaker 2: To as you don't like apples to apples.
[46:25] Speaker 4: Because I'm not.
[46:26] Speaker 2: Good at it.
[46:26] Speaker 4: I always get bad cards.
[46:28] Speaker 2: Every card's fine.
[46:30] Speaker 4: No, I'll get a full hand of like a truck
[46:34] Speaker 4: a dog.
[46:35] Speaker 2: Those are good.
[46:37] Speaker 4: Oh you know what I'm realizing now, I'm blaming my cards.
[46:40] Speaker 4: I'm the problem.
[46:41] Speaker 2: You're the problem.
[46:42] Speaker 4: It's what you do with them.
[46:44] Speaker 2: The cards are dealt. This is life, this is this
[46:46] Speaker 2: is life. Okay, well it should we keep going. Let's
[46:49] Speaker 2: ask one more. Let's just see why is it? Why
[46:52] Speaker 2: is every one of them? Yes? Or no? I guess
[46:53] Speaker 2: I must play into the game.
[46:54] Speaker 4: It's an end of a conversation.
[46:56] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[46:56] Speaker 2: Would you drink a glassful of someone else's piss for
[46:59] Speaker 2: five thousand dollars? I hate this? No, I again, I
[47:03] Speaker 2: would do it for twenty I'm very hard.
[47:09] Speaker 4: Stop overpaying me for things I would do anyway.
[47:12] Speaker 2: That I'm doing for free.
[47:13] Speaker 4: Coff, I'm annoying because I answered all of this is
[47:18] Speaker 4: like who's pits?
[47:20] Speaker 2: Right, which I think you're actually like kind of fixing
[47:22] Speaker 2: the game for that.
[47:23] Speaker 4: Big as the glass? What's the temperature of the piz right?
[47:26] Speaker 2: Whereas like the game is just asking yes or no?
[47:29] Speaker 2: You need more information a negotiation. This is but it
[47:32] Speaker 2: is seventeen plus.
[47:34] Speaker 4: Ooh yeah, that's why it's fun.
[47:36] Speaker 2: Okay, we're reaching back in. Oh, this is tasteful. This
[47:42] Speaker 2: is a sticky note folio from the Rifle Paper Company.
[47:45] Speaker 4: Yeah, give it an open.
[47:47] Speaker 2: Oh, I like this.
[47:48] Speaker 4: This is really good.
[47:49] Speaker 2: Little labels and stuff with that kind of a floral.
[47:52] Speaker 4: Little sticky notes, sticky. You can see it's still mint.
[47:56] Speaker 2: Brand brand new. Where did this come from?
[47:59] Speaker 4: I I bought three of them with the idea that
[48:01] Speaker 4: I would give them as gifts to my aunts for
[48:03] Speaker 4: Mother's Day, and then I realized that I can't follow
[48:06] Speaker 4: through on anything.
[48:08] Speaker 2: Did you give away any of them?
[48:10] Speaker 4: Maybe?
[48:11] Speaker 2: Okay? I I feel like my uh ability to schedule
[48:16] Speaker 2: and remember things has absolutely been decimated in the last year. Yeah.
[48:21] Speaker 2: Where I have things fully scheduled and I'll look at
[48:23] Speaker 2: my calendar in the morning and then do none of them?
[48:26] Speaker 2: Can fully miss therapy fully? Oh you forget? Yeah. I
[48:32] Speaker 2: think it's just like I have so much free time
[48:34] Speaker 2: at this point that.
[48:35] Speaker 4: It's just when there's something to do, you forget.
[48:38] Speaker 2: Yeah, it makes it doesn't make any sense that I
[48:41] Speaker 2: would have something to do that doesn't sound like me therapy,
[48:47] Speaker 2: I'm fine. Do you use like a Google like a Google? Yoh, yeah,
[48:52] Speaker 2: of course.
[48:53] Speaker 4: And do you put any alerts on there?
[48:55] Speaker 2: Well, here's my big problem. I don't like an alert.
[48:58] Speaker 2: I don't like to be bothered. I have my phone
[49:00] Speaker 2: on do not disturb at all times. So it's kind
[49:03] Speaker 2: of luck that I am in touch with anyone that
[49:07] Speaker 2: I remember anything. Yeah, it's all kind of on my schedule.
[49:10] Speaker 2: Even my own calendar is on my schedule or like
[49:13] Speaker 2: you know, it's like up to me whether I look
[49:15] Speaker 2: at it, and so you know, it's kind of luck
[49:20] Speaker 2: if I get something done.
[49:21] Speaker 4: Is that exciting though? Do you like the excitement?
[49:24] Speaker 3: No?
[49:24] Speaker 4: Okay, it feels bad.
[49:25] Speaker 2: Yeah, it feels hard. This is a problem you're creating,
[49:28] Speaker 2: Oh absolutely, and you're aware of it. Yes, that's I
[49:30] Speaker 2: And this is something I really don't like in other
[49:32] Speaker 2: people when I'm like, I know you're aware of the problem,
[49:34] Speaker 2: why aren't you just working on it?
[49:36] Speaker 4: I know? It's it is like when someone says I'm
[49:38] Speaker 4: having such a hard time with this thing, and then
[49:42] Speaker 4: they say or if it's like I'm having a hell
[49:46] Speaker 4: of a time fighting an apartment and you say I
[49:48] Speaker 4: can help, they're like, okay, because I need it to
[49:51] Speaker 4: be a two bedroom, I need it to be on
[49:54] Speaker 4: the Hollywood side, and it has to have a butler, and.
[49:59] Speaker 2: If it could be in San Diego, yeah, and also there.
[50:03] Speaker 4: And you're like, oh no, the problem is the goal.
[50:08] Speaker 2: Yes, and I have all I do all of these things,
[50:12] Speaker 2: and yet I, oh, yeah, I don't try to fix them.
[50:15] Speaker 2: Are you good with scheduling?
[50:17] Speaker 4: I am not, And I think I'm one of those
[50:20] Speaker 4: people who's bad with scheduling. And so I put everything
[50:23] Speaker 4: in the Google calendar, right, But that then means that
[50:28] Speaker 4: if I don't put it in, it doesn't exist.
[50:31] Speaker 3: Right.
[50:31] Speaker 2: That's the thing I used to be. Yeah, and now
[50:33] Speaker 2: I've kind of become both where nothing ever exists, Apparently.
[50:38] Speaker 4: Nothing ever exists. Apparently it's so tough. It's a good podcast.
[50:42] Speaker 2: Nothing ever exists. Apparently that could be a good like
[50:45] Speaker 2: not true crime, but the mystery genre, mystery poetry, mystery
[50:50] Speaker 2: poetry podcast. Wow, this is very good, though, I think
[50:54] Speaker 2: little reminders maybe it'll help. Physical reminders is a good
[50:58] Speaker 2: way back, I think to schedule. Yeah, right, big time,
[51:02] Speaker 2: big time.
[51:02] Speaker 4: A notebook? A notebook with two things written on the
[51:06] Speaker 4: first two pages and then completely empty.
[51:08] Speaker 2: Is that how you journal?
[51:10] Speaker 4: Do you journal the amount I do? And it is shameful.
[51:14] Speaker 4: I'll I'll go through like eight months of doing it
[51:17] Speaker 4: and then five years. Not right, but the shame of
[51:20] Speaker 4: having a planner or a notebook where it's like the
[51:24] Speaker 4: first two pages are filled in and the rest is playing.
[51:26] Speaker 2: Oh yeah, so what happened to my life? Sucks? Have
[51:29] Speaker 2: you missed any big events because of scheduling.
[51:32] Speaker 4: All the time? I will say there was one example
[51:36] Speaker 4: where it wasn't my fault, where my agent asked me,
[51:40] Speaker 4: this is years ago, if I would do a college
[51:43] Speaker 4: show in Maine, okay? And I said, yeah, I'm available,
[51:47] Speaker 4: And then I didn't hear back. And then on the
[51:49] Speaker 4: day the agent assistant called me and was like, hey,
[51:54] Speaker 4: just wanted to check and make sure you're on your
[51:56] Speaker 4: way to rule mail. Oh no, I was like, what
[51:59] Speaker 4: the fuck is up? Just in my house?
[52:01] Speaker 2: Oh?
[52:02] Speaker 4: And then I had to fly into a different city
[52:04] Speaker 4: in Maine. I guess it didn't have.
[52:05] Speaker 2: To, but I wanted to sure it was.
[52:08] Speaker 4: I was in such a panic that I didn't realize
[52:10] Speaker 4: that it was not my fault because I just like,
[52:13] Speaker 4: I'm always confused. So I had to fly into a
[52:15] Speaker 4: different city in Maine because there were no other flights
[52:18] Speaker 4: available at that time to get there for the flight,
[52:20] Speaker 4: and then I took a two hour uber.
[52:23] Speaker 2: How much did it cost to get there?
[52:24] Speaker 4: I think the flight was like two hundred dollars and
[52:27] Speaker 4: then the uber was one hundred and eighty or something,
[52:30] Speaker 4: and then I probably got like maybe fifteen hundred dollars
[52:34] Speaker 4: for the show.
[52:35] Speaker 2: Wasn't you made it out a little bit?
[52:37] Speaker 4: Yeah, it wasn't a good deal. But the woman who
[52:41] Speaker 4: drove me told me that she used to work in
[52:43] Speaker 4: nursing homes and she quit because the staff, the staff
[52:47] Speaker 4: at all nursing homes aren't very abusive to the patients.
[52:50] Speaker 2: Oh, I think that happens more often than you think.
[52:53] Speaker 4: I was like, I'm so glad that we have two
[52:56] Speaker 4: hours to really dig into this.
[52:58] Speaker 2: I worked at a retirement home in the dining room.
[53:01] Speaker 4: What did you do there?
[53:02] Speaker 2: I was a waiter and a lot of the residents
[53:04] Speaker 2: would lie about having diabetes in order to get the
[53:06] Speaker 2: diabetic ice cream. That's that was the big secret. Why
[53:09] Speaker 2: did they want that? Because they didn't want the desert
[53:11] Speaker 2: of the day, because it was usually worse than diabetic
[53:13] Speaker 2: ice cream.
[53:15] Speaker 4: That sounds bad. I must have loved you. I measure
[53:19] Speaker 4: being an old person and you're the waiter.
[53:21] Speaker 2: I can't say one way or the other. I will
[53:23] Speaker 2: say at the time I had pretty long hair, and
[53:24] Speaker 2: a lot of them just thought I was a woman.
[53:26] Speaker 2: For the probably the first two weeks, They're like, who's
[53:28] Speaker 2: this sweet young lady? And then we slowly learned, and
[53:30] Speaker 2: then some of them didn't, and we just worked worked
[53:33] Speaker 2: through it.
[53:34] Speaker 4: Most people, I think probably like talking to you.
[53:39] Speaker 2: That's very nice.
[53:40] Speaker 4: I think it's true.
[53:41] Speaker 2: It's calm, it's very sweet. I don't know.
[53:43] Speaker 4: If I were a rehabbed owl and you came towards
[53:47] Speaker 4: my creat I wouldn't go on the corner.
[53:51] Speaker 2: I just maybe I'll start an owl rescue.
[53:54] Speaker 4: Maybe maybe keep going getting back in here.
[53:59] Speaker 2: This is a full destroyed book. I've never heard of this.
[54:02] Speaker 4: It'sanaslavsky system.
[54:04] Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a system of acting. It is.
[54:06] Speaker 4: Yeah, this is like the big one.
[54:08] Speaker 2: How have I never heard of this one?
[54:10] Speaker 4: It's Danaslavsky. I don't know. That's so the main one
[54:12] Speaker 4: this is from college. We had to get it.
[54:14] Speaker 2: Where did you go to school? Why you okay, Well,
[54:17] Speaker 2: I mean.
[54:19] Speaker 4: The Harvard of the South.
[54:21] Speaker 1: Uh.
[54:22] Speaker 4: Yeah, this is a must have acting.
[54:24] Speaker 2: Book and you've really gotten into it.
[54:26] Speaker 4: Yeah, it's water damaged. I hope nothing's highlighted. I just
[54:30] Speaker 4: wanted you to have it in case you wanted to.
[54:32] Speaker 2: I want to see if you highlighted anything.
[54:34] Speaker 4: Do iret my name and phone number in the front?
[54:37] Speaker 2: I didn't do that.
[54:38] Speaker 4: No, this I've been through it. Yeah, it's a lot
[54:40] Speaker 4: of acting as if like, what's your character motivation? Actually,
[54:47] Speaker 4: I was like, I don't know if I can give
[54:48] Speaker 4: this away because.
[54:48] Speaker 2: What if I become what if you forget about it
[54:51] Speaker 2: really hot and they need me. Let's see, you didn't
[54:53] Speaker 2: highlight anything, so I don't think you really cared to learn. Oh,
[54:57] Speaker 2: let's see more. Just that kind of facts. These aren't
[55:02] Speaker 2: that interesting thing?
[55:03] Speaker 4: Can you read one?
[55:03] Speaker 2: Uh? Let's see on stage. An actor's senses are often
[55:08] Speaker 2: prone to paralysis because of the break in natural psychophysical behavior.
[55:12] Speaker 2: The actor then loses the feeling of real life and
[55:14] Speaker 2: forgets how to do the simplest things that he does
[55:16] Speaker 2: not naturally and spontaneously do. In life. Hmm ring any
[55:22] Speaker 2: bells remind you of anyone? Did you major in acting?
[55:29] Speaker 2: I did? Oh, I didn't know that.
[55:31] Speaker 4: I have a college degree in acting.
[55:33] Speaker 2: And it can we apply to almost anything. It can, yeah,
[55:37] Speaker 2: sort of action.
[55:38] Speaker 4: It's always shocking when something from the acting degree.
[55:42] Speaker 2: Is helpful in other areas.
[55:44] Speaker 4: You mean, like in like writing or whatever.
[55:46] Speaker 2: Oh sure, sure, it's like, huh I went.
[55:50] Speaker 4: To goofball school.
[55:51] Speaker 2: I can't believe. Can you think of anything specifically like? Uh?
[55:55] Speaker 4: No, no, I guess, like uh character, like the idea
[56:00] Speaker 4: of having a character biography.
[56:02] Speaker 2: Oh sure sure it's like.
[56:03] Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I spent three weeks building out like I'm
[56:06] Speaker 4: an abusive old woman who lives in an attic and
[56:11] Speaker 4: I'm gonna write my favorite food where I grew up.
[56:16] Speaker 4: Yeah that's a bad example, but I guess I guess
[56:20] Speaker 4: it has never happened. I just wanted you to have it.
[56:23] Speaker 4: I'm worried that there's too much stuff in the bad No.
[56:25] Speaker 2: I feel like we're almost done. Okay, and we've actually
[56:28] Speaker 2: received more idents on this podcast. Oh good, Okay, I
[56:31] Speaker 2: like not to well, actually, now that I'm saying maybe not.
[56:34] Speaker 4: Yeah no, oh yeah. So there's a couple of press
[56:39] Speaker 4: on nails. Never, it's called never ever ever look at
[56:42] Speaker 4: that and you can stick control. Just to try. I
[56:45] Speaker 4: bought a bunch of press on nails for a thing
[56:47] Speaker 4: and then I was started to panic.
[56:50] Speaker 2: I was like, which one is right? And then I
[56:52] Speaker 2: didn't return them. Oh sure, And when I see them
[56:56] Speaker 2: in my house, I feel like a stupid idiot. Where
[57:00] Speaker 2: are you storing all of this stuff.
[57:01] Speaker 4: In little plastic bins in the only closet in the house,
[57:06] Speaker 4: and a bin that's labeled travel.
[57:10] Speaker 2: The press on nails were in travel Travel has a
[57:13] Speaker 2: lot of room in it. Sure, and this is technically
[57:16] Speaker 2: weddings corporate events.
[57:19] Speaker 4: Let me show you what it would look like. Does
[57:21] Speaker 4: this look great?
[57:22] Speaker 2: Yes?
[57:23] Speaker 4: This does this look like my hand?
[57:27] Speaker 2: Absolutely? If you had shown up today with those nails,
[57:31] Speaker 2: I wouldn't have beat an eye.
[57:32] Speaker 4: I panic and go who am I before? I get
[57:35] Speaker 4: dressed every time, and this this day was a bad one.
[57:39] Speaker 4: There's more. There's three more in there.
[57:41] Speaker 2: And then we've got some multi action super CSPF which
[57:46] Speaker 2: expire February of last year.
[57:50] Speaker 4: I bought that at Costco in to two BAC never
[57:51] Speaker 4: used it once, not neither of them.
[57:54] Speaker 2: The other one is used but I think it's uh,
[57:57] Speaker 2: let's now in box.
[58:00] Speaker 4: That's also from the travel box, because there is room
[58:02] Speaker 4: in travel.
[58:03] Speaker 2: What is I've never used a vitamin sea moisturizer. Is
[58:06] Speaker 2: that supposed to like burn your skin off it?
[58:08] Speaker 1: No?
[58:09] Speaker 4: It puts it on. It puts the more on.
[58:11] Speaker 2: What is vitamin C supposed to do to your skin?
[58:13] Speaker 4: Make it good?
[58:14] Speaker 2: Keep digging, Come on, people, people are almost done folding
[58:18] Speaker 2: their laundry. There's so many things this is. Look at this.
[58:26] Speaker 4: Okay.
[58:27] Speaker 2: Yep.
[58:28] Speaker 4: Those I put in my suitcase every time I travel,
[58:30] Speaker 4: just in case, and they're old.
[58:32] Speaker 2: Have they been used? No? I guess you can only
[58:35] Speaker 2: use these ones. People, you know, take them.
[58:38] Speaker 4: Off and put them back on them are resourceful.
[58:40] Speaker 2: From the Sephora collection.
[58:42] Speaker 3: Yep.
[58:43] Speaker 2: Then we've got a I dine.
[58:45] Speaker 4: When I thought they might nuclear war, I bought in
[58:47] Speaker 4: a five pack.
[58:48] Speaker 2: Do these expire? They better not expired? No?
[58:54] Speaker 4: I bought them like five months ago.
[58:56] Speaker 2: Oh expires in twenty thirty four.
[58:57] Speaker 4: Oh thank god.
[58:58] Speaker 2: So we definitely have to have a nuclear or more
[59:00] Speaker 2: before then. Waste. Yeah, what a waste of money.
[59:03] Speaker 4: Then I have to eat them all at.
[59:04] Speaker 2: Once if there isn't some level of nuclear winter in
[59:07] Speaker 2: the next what nine years, we can do it. I
[59:13] Speaker 2: feel I feel like we have yeah, got the come on,
[59:16] Speaker 2: the power and the beliefs.
[59:18] Speaker 4: It's also like I realized, like, what's the plan When
[59:20] Speaker 4: I run out? I just turn into Google.
[59:22] Speaker 2: You had a great time.
[59:25] Speaker 4: What's the point of extending?
[59:27] Speaker 2: Like, what's the point in two weeks or something?
[59:29] Speaker 4: Nuclear famously doesn't go away by that amount of bottle.
[59:32] Speaker 2: Yeah, these bottles should be huge.
[59:35] Speaker 4: It came in a five pack on Amazon. It made
[59:37] Speaker 4: it look huge, and then they showed up and were tiny.
[59:39] Speaker 2: I was like, okay, yeah, that's like for like a
[59:42] Speaker 2: quick like a nuclear weekend. That's not that's where like.
[59:46] Speaker 4: I shouldn't.
[59:49] Speaker 2: But I will.
[59:49] Speaker 4: I'm yeah. And that also was in the travel bit.
[59:54] Speaker 2: That's travel worthy. I would say, just in case more tips.
[59:59] Speaker 2: These are alway for chill tips.
[1:00:01] Speaker 4: I'm sorry, so no, So the chill tips were the
[1:00:04] Speaker 4: ones I ended up wearing. Oh right, and they were.
[1:00:06] Speaker 2: The yellow ones, And that's a chill tips brand. I
[1:00:09] Speaker 2: don't like chill tips. Chill tips and this one's called
[1:00:12] Speaker 2: the never have I Ever.
[1:00:13] Speaker 4: Yeah, they're both kind of like want you to think
[1:00:15] Speaker 4: about hand jobs.
[1:00:19] Speaker 2: Yeah, keep going, okay, setting this all up more from
[1:00:21] Speaker 2: the travel, more press on, more pressed on?
[1:00:27] Speaker 4: Does that never have every These.
[1:00:29] Speaker 2: Are never had by ever with a It's like a
[1:00:32] Speaker 2: pink with a cheetah print.
[1:00:34] Speaker 4: Cheata print. I was panicking. I was like, am I
[1:00:38] Speaker 4: who do I? Whose hands are these going on?
[1:00:41] Speaker 2: And you had I mean they're all over the place.
[1:00:44] Speaker 2: You really had no idea.
[1:00:45] Speaker 4: It was for the sn L fiftieth.
[1:00:47] Speaker 2: Okay, that's a confusing, and I never know.
[1:00:50] Speaker 4: I never know how to be in a room right
[1:00:53] Speaker 4: with other people in general.
[1:00:56] Speaker 2: And that was like, what steaks are kind of hot.
[1:00:58] Speaker 2: I have to just.
[1:00:59] Speaker 4: Become a different person in order to get through whatever.
[1:01:03] Speaker 2: What did you end up wearing?
[1:01:05] Speaker 4: I wore a bridesmaid's dress with a leather jacket, great
[1:01:09] Speaker 4: and yellow press on nails that I glued on my
[1:01:12] Speaker 4: fingers in thirty rock while watching the show.
[1:01:15] Speaker 2: Did you get any compliments?
[1:01:17] Speaker 4: I don't think so. And I just kept hurting myself.
[1:01:21] Speaker 4: If you hit the tip of the back of it
[1:01:23] Speaker 4: on something, it like hurts, it pulls up your little guy.
[1:01:27] Speaker 2: These. Yes, that feels like if you got them done professionally,
[1:01:31] Speaker 2: they would be on so much.
[1:01:32] Speaker 4: Well, it's not gonna It's just like a little yank.
[1:01:34] Speaker 4: It's not. It wouldn't pull your finger off.
[1:01:36] Speaker 2: Well maybe depending on your diet and general health.
[1:01:41] Speaker 4: It comes back to who's pisses this?
[1:01:43] Speaker 2: Yeah, who's pisses this? Keeep gone?
[1:01:46] Speaker 4: Come on? Also from the travel.
[1:01:48] Speaker 2: Then tissue tissue. There's only one thing.
[1:01:50] Speaker 4: Let throw the tissue on there. It really Oh my god,
[1:01:52] Speaker 4: I'm excited for this.
[1:01:53] Speaker 2: In who Let's sit here, it's it says I needed tension.
[1:02:00] Speaker 2: It's a button that says I need attention.
[1:02:02] Speaker 4: But that says I need attention.
[1:02:03] Speaker 2: State Mutual Savings.
[1:02:05] Speaker 4: I got that in an estate sale a few years ago,
[1:02:08] Speaker 4: and I was like, I need to give this to
[1:02:09] Speaker 4: someone who's funny and stylish, because I think it's actually nice.
[1:02:12] Speaker 2: This is There was a I feel like a period
[1:02:15] Speaker 2: probably between nineteen sixty nine and nineteen eighty seven. I
[1:02:18] Speaker 2: would say that feels like a period when buttons like
[1:02:20] Speaker 2: this were getting made and they looked hard and they
[1:02:23] Speaker 2: had things right that were like kind of funny but
[1:02:25] Speaker 2: not trying too hard, yes, and anyone could wear them
[1:02:32] Speaker 2: any You're so almost anyone could wear a button during
[1:02:35] Speaker 2: that period.
[1:02:36] Speaker 4: Almost anyone these days these days, you really it's like
[1:02:40] Speaker 4: it's just the town.
[1:02:41] Speaker 2: Docked one in a million. It's able to wear a button.
[1:02:45] Speaker 4: Yeah, So this is an assembly of things from the
[1:02:47] Speaker 4: travel bin, things that I bought with the idea of
[1:02:51] Speaker 4: I'll give it to someone and then kept not doing it.
[1:02:54] Speaker 4: And I somehow see that button eight times a day.
[1:02:57] Speaker 2: I love this button and.
[1:03:00] Speaker 4: Things that, uh it's it's stuff I don't use that
[1:03:05] Speaker 4: I feel I can't throw away.
[1:03:06] Speaker 2: Right, that's almost everything for me. Yeah, if I spent
[1:03:09] Speaker 2: money on it, it does not matter if it has
[1:03:12] Speaker 2: any value in my life. If it's getting in the way,
[1:03:16] Speaker 2: I'm keeping it. I will carry it around like Jacob
[1:03:19] Speaker 2: Marley with the chains that he built in life link
[1:03:22] Speaker 2: by link, and I'm like.
[1:03:23] Speaker 4: This is my bird. I bought this chill tips and
[1:03:28] Speaker 4: I will carry for the rest of my life as punishment.
[1:03:31] Speaker 2: Right now, something I didn't even buy myself. My dad
[1:03:33] Speaker 2: accidentally sent me two massive boxes of industrial sized garbage
[1:03:38] Speaker 2: bags from Costco. He was trying to send them to himself,
[1:03:43] Speaker 2: and they've been in my car for well I've bet
[1:03:45] Speaker 2: I've talked about on this podcast, probably over a year ago.
[1:03:48] Speaker 4: Industrial size meaning like a big barrel, like a big.
[1:03:50] Speaker 2: Cbetaria, big enough probably to fit inside a like, you know,
[1:03:53] Speaker 2: like your la garbage can, so I can't be used
[1:03:56] Speaker 2: in the home, you know, I can't just put in
[1:03:57] Speaker 2: my kitchen garbage pan.
[1:03:59] Speaker 4: Wow, who's lining their outdoor trash bin? That's impressive.
[1:04:02] Speaker 2: Somebody who doesn't like smell.
[1:04:04] Speaker 4: I guess they respect themselves a lot.
[1:04:06] Speaker 2: Yeah, but yeah, I'm holding onto everything. Did you go
[1:04:09] Speaker 2: to the state sales a lot?
[1:04:11] Speaker 3: No?
[1:04:11] Speaker 4: My friend Amy is in a state sale queen and
[1:04:14] Speaker 4: she finds great stuff. Whenever I went into a phase
[1:04:18] Speaker 4: and really liked it because I like little dude ads
[1:04:20] Speaker 4: and nickknacks. Sure, the issue is I now have buckets
[1:04:22] Speaker 4: of little craps like I need attention that I do
[1:04:26] Speaker 4: love that should go to someone as.
[1:04:28] Speaker 2: A gift, right, and today was your turn. It's like
[1:04:32] Speaker 2: a people museum. It's like a museum. I like, Yeah,
[1:04:35] Speaker 2: I love going into a house that I wouldn't be
[1:04:37] Speaker 2: allowed in any other circumstances. I rarely buy anything. I'll
[1:04:42] Speaker 2: buy like a trinket.
[1:04:43] Speaker 4: I now enjoy thrift stores and a state sales way
[1:04:46] Speaker 4: more knowing that I don't have to buy anything.
[1:04:49] Speaker 2: Oh interesting, It's just it's a thing to go and do.
[1:04:53] Speaker 2: This is me completely, This is literally me with a
[1:04:54] Speaker 2: grocery store. You like to go and visit the I
[1:04:57] Speaker 2: love to just walk around and visit the food. My friend,
[1:05:00] Speaker 2: the food high food.
[1:05:04] Speaker 4: Do you have a favorite food, a favorite isle? What
[1:05:06] Speaker 4: do you like to look at?
[1:05:07] Speaker 2: I don't have a favorite isle. Every isle has something
[1:05:10] Speaker 2: new for me to look at. I would say the
[1:05:12] Speaker 2: things that have the most turnover are like the snacks
[1:05:15] Speaker 2: and cookies for sure. Because Oreo has a new flavor
[1:05:17] Speaker 2: every thirty to forty seconds.
[1:05:19] Speaker 4: They're very attention grabby.
[1:05:21] Speaker 2: I mean, give them this button. I mean they're desperate,
[1:05:25] Speaker 2: the Oreo people are. It's sad, Dawn. We already like
[1:05:29] Speaker 2: you if we liked the first one. You don't have
[1:05:33] Speaker 2: to do any of this. I mean, like truly, seventy
[1:05:36] Speaker 2: flavors ago, they were out of good flavors, and now
[1:05:39] Speaker 2: it just feels like somebody that's like, oh, what's next
[1:05:43] Speaker 2: for your life? You're in a bad place. Banana. No
[1:05:47] Speaker 2: one likes a banana candy. I think there's a Selena Gomez.
[1:05:50] Speaker 2: Are you like a banana candy?
[1:05:51] Speaker 4: I do, but yeah, I was like, who is it
[1:05:53] Speaker 4: to me?
[1:05:53] Speaker 2: More?
[1:05:55] Speaker 4: I'm one hundred years old.
[1:05:57] Speaker 2: You like a banana runt?
[1:06:00] Speaker 4: I like love a banana runt. Oh, that's when I save.
[1:06:02] Speaker 4: I like a banana laffy. Daffy comes with a smile.
[1:06:05] Speaker 2: It's nice to know that there is somebody that they're
[1:06:07] Speaker 2: making them for. Yeah, I'm the one. You're the person.
[1:06:09] Speaker 4: Sorry, I do that.
[1:06:11] Speaker 2: I haven't had a runt in a long time. And
[1:06:13] Speaker 2: I love that texture. Oh yeah, it's like eating a bead.
[1:06:17] Speaker 4: I love putting beads in my mouth. I love plastic
[1:06:21] Speaker 4: in my mouth. And then I found out about micropot.
[1:06:23] Speaker 4: It is like eating a bead.
[1:06:24] Speaker 2: It's very much like eating a little bead.
[1:06:26] Speaker 4: And it's an exciting moment because it's like there's a
[1:06:29] Speaker 4: chance if I bite down hard enough, I'll split my
[1:06:31] Speaker 4: skull open. This could this could be.
[1:06:34] Speaker 2: It for a split second of banana. That's that's what
[1:06:40] Speaker 2: you're putting on the line.
[1:06:41] Speaker 4: It's a rush.
[1:06:42] Speaker 2: Yeah, it's an absolute rush. I don't even know if
[1:06:44] Speaker 2: they sell runts anymore. I should look into it. Well,
[1:06:47] Speaker 2: is there anything left to say about this enormous pile
[1:06:49] Speaker 2: of goods.
[1:06:51] Speaker 4: It's a relief to have it out of the house.
[1:06:53] Speaker 2: Thank you so much for kind of pouring it on.
[1:06:55] Speaker 4: Yeah, thank you so much to help me out. I
[1:06:59] Speaker 4: keep being like I'll put it on the curb and
[1:07:00] Speaker 4: put a post on buy nothing Burban, right, And then
[1:07:03] Speaker 4: even that.
[1:07:03] Speaker 2: Is like that's hard.
[1:07:04] Speaker 4: You're not supposed to just do flash gibs.
[1:07:06] Speaker 2: You can, but oh, I didn't know you couldn't do that.
[1:07:08] Speaker 4: You can, Okay, it's not the spirit of the.
[1:07:11] Speaker 2: Group, right. It needs to be more intentional.
[1:07:14] Speaker 4: You should post it individually with photos.
[1:07:17] Speaker 2: It should be. The admins are.
[1:07:18] Speaker 4: Constantly tagging everyone in the group to add another role
[1:07:22] Speaker 4: and I'm scared of the group. So yeah, but I
[1:07:26] Speaker 4: can't throw it out and I can't really donate it.
[1:07:28] Speaker 2: The standards for buy Nothing are way higher than I expected.
[1:07:32] Speaker 2: Just getting into my group was a huge pain. You
[1:07:34] Speaker 2: have to say, like it's like who you are Almoso,
[1:07:37] Speaker 2: like a background.
[1:07:37] Speaker 4: Check a thousand percent. It's like there's nothing in my
[1:07:41] Speaker 4: neighborhood that's so awesome that people are trying to get.
[1:07:44] Speaker 2: In, right, Yeah, And like I feel like they knew
[1:07:47] Speaker 2: better about where I live within Los Angeles than I do.
[1:07:50] Speaker 2: I think I gave them the wrong information about where
[1:07:52] Speaker 2: I live and they're like, you don't live there, find
[1:07:55] Speaker 2: out where you live and come back what is your zone? Ide?
[1:07:58] Speaker 4: Like what is I have to look at of surveyor's
[1:08:01] Speaker 4: map to get into this.
[1:08:02] Speaker 2: And I have not given away or taken anything from
[1:08:05] Speaker 2: the group, So why am I in it?
[1:08:07] Speaker 4: I don't you like to look?
[1:08:09] Speaker 2: I know I like to belong you. I like to belong.
[1:08:14] Speaker 2: Was looking to belong. Let's play a game. Okay, we're
[1:08:18] Speaker 2: gonna play a game called Gift you a Curse. But
[1:08:20] Speaker 2: I need a number between one and ten from you. Nine. Okay.
[1:08:23] Speaker 2: I have to do some light calculating to get our
[1:08:26] Speaker 2: game pieces. So right now, you can promote, recommend, do
[1:08:29] Speaker 2: whatever you want. I'll be right back. I would like
[1:08:33] Speaker 2: to say that you're doing great, all of you out there,
[1:08:39] Speaker 2: and you should feel nice and give yourself a hug
[1:08:43] Speaker 2: and hear me. I've never I don't think i've ever
[1:08:46] Speaker 2: seenized on this podcast. Interesting. What's in this bag?
[1:08:50] Speaker 4: Oh? Got a big dust?
[1:08:53] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[1:08:54] Speaker 4: Probably the travel bind does not get rifled through often
[1:08:57] Speaker 4: or not.
[1:09:00] Speaker 2: I wasn't listening. Did you promote or recommend? No?
[1:09:02] Speaker 4: I panicked you guys said a prayer.
[1:09:04] Speaker 2: Do you have anything to promote right now? Yourself?
[1:09:07] Speaker 4: Myself, my brand?
[1:09:09] Speaker 2: You're on Instagram? Oh and you have the other services? Really?
[1:09:16] Speaker 4: My Instagram is pictures of my dogs.
[1:09:19] Speaker 2: Sure, have you enjoyed anything recently enjoyed? Yeah, that's not
[1:09:24] Speaker 2: of your own?
[1:09:26] Speaker 4: Like shows and stuff.
[1:09:27] Speaker 2: Whatever, movie, food, music, movie TV.
[1:09:31] Speaker 4: Why can't I think of one thing?
[1:09:33] Speaker 2: Because it's a horrible question. It is, it will erase
[1:09:36] Speaker 2: your mind.
[1:09:37] Speaker 4: I yeah, I rewatched Hereditary the other day to treat it,
[1:09:41] Speaker 4: and I watched the last thirty minutes on mute. Oh sure,
[1:09:44] Speaker 4: she's have really taken the choices?
[1:09:46] Speaker 2: Did you see bring her back?
[1:09:48] Speaker 4: No?
[1:09:49] Speaker 2: I feel like Hereditary? I mean, who I'm.
[1:09:52] Speaker 4: Gonna I'm going to race out of the studio, go home,
[1:09:54] Speaker 4: close every window, and angle the TV away from any surface.
[1:09:58] Speaker 4: It is noon, not a good time I watch movie.
[1:10:00] Speaker 4: I cannot wait to get home and put it on.
[1:10:02] Speaker 2: Did you see talk to Me? I did? You didn't?
[1:10:05] Speaker 2: You didn't like talk to me?
[1:10:06] Speaker 4: It didn't It didn't get me. Okay, it's not that
[1:10:10] Speaker 4: I didn't get it. It didn't give me. No, I
[1:10:12] Speaker 4: liked it. I liked Yeah, it was a cool thing
[1:10:15] Speaker 4: that I've never really seen a horror movie do. Where
[1:10:17] Speaker 4: like everyone immediately is like cool, we're talking to ghosts. No,
[1:10:21] Speaker 4: One's like that's not real.
[1:10:22] Speaker 2: What are you doing?
[1:10:23] Speaker 4: Everyone was immediately on board.
[1:10:25] Speaker 2: Okay, I wonder how you feel. And this is the
[1:10:27] Speaker 2: same people, the same character.
[1:10:29] Speaker 4: I'll have to look, but.
[1:10:30] Speaker 2: I think you'll probably like it better.
[1:10:32] Speaker 4: Was it as bleak as talked to me?
[1:10:34] Speaker 2: It's I mean, I think it is the bleakest thing
[1:10:37] Speaker 2: I've ever seen.
[1:10:38] Speaker 4: Was it mean mean bleak? Mean mean sad?
[1:10:42] Speaker 2: No, it's not mean.
[1:10:42] Speaker 4: I found talk to me to be mean sad.
[1:10:44] Speaker 2: No, I would say this is like just sad, just
[1:10:49] Speaker 2: so dark and sad.
[1:10:50] Speaker 4: That sounds great. Does a dog get hurt?
[1:10:53] Speaker 2: I can't remember if any animals get hurt? I don't.
[1:10:55] Speaker 4: This is the thing I want to promote is I
[1:10:57] Speaker 4: don't do anything with them. But there's a site, an
[1:11:00] Speaker 4: app called does the Dog Die?
[1:11:02] Speaker 2: Oh, that's a good thing to download.
[1:11:03] Speaker 4: Premium version I think is ten dollars a year, and
[1:11:07] Speaker 4: any movie or TV show And it's not just dog dying,
[1:11:10] Speaker 4: it's does a dragon feel sad?
[1:11:13] Speaker 2: Sure?
[1:11:13] Speaker 4: Our fingernails ripped off? You can put in anything that's
[1:11:16] Speaker 4: either triggering or upsetting. Because if I see a movie
[1:11:19] Speaker 4: where a dog is confused about being abandoned, I actually
[1:11:22] Speaker 4: have to go to the hospital. It's debilitating and I
[1:11:26] Speaker 4: am now I've gotten a little bit better. But it's
[1:11:28] Speaker 4: really nice because you can see like, okay, yeah, in
[1:11:30] Speaker 4: this episode of Suernobyl from minute thirty, I just skipped that.
[1:11:37] Speaker 4: That's another frequent rewatch for me because amazing explaining grave things.
[1:11:42] Speaker 2: It's so I loved it.
[1:11:44] Speaker 4: It's perfect. But iodine.
[1:11:45] Speaker 2: That's how they say right, they say antibiotic, antibiotic or something.
[1:11:53] Speaker 2: There's like the way you say it with a British accent.
[1:11:56] Speaker 2: Is anytime I've ever heard it, I've thought, wait, I
[1:11:59] Speaker 2: don't know what you're sing saying to me.
[1:12:00] Speaker 4: We're going to find out.
[1:12:02] Speaker 2: Doesn't matter.
[1:12:03] Speaker 4: I really like it. Jared Harrison Runtkin. It's a measure
[1:12:10] Speaker 4: of right right.
[1:12:13] Speaker 2: I love him. I loved him in mad Men.
[1:12:16] Speaker 4: And Everything, put him in all the things I'm here
[1:12:18] Speaker 4: to promote.
[1:12:19] Speaker 2: Jared.
[1:12:20] Speaker 4: I am too, who never stops working. He doesn't need it.
[1:12:23] Speaker 2: He needs the help, Jared, reach out, reach out. This
[1:12:27] Speaker 2: is how we play gift or a curse. I'm going
[1:12:28] Speaker 2: to name three things. You'll tell me if there are
[1:12:30] Speaker 2: a gift or a curse, and why then don't tell
[1:12:32] Speaker 2: if you're right or wrong, because there are correct answers.
[1:12:34] Speaker 2: Oh great, so you can loose I love that look
[1:12:37] Speaker 2: forward to it. Okay, the first one is from an
[1:12:39] Speaker 2: unknown listener who knows where this came from. But it
[1:12:41] Speaker 2: was a listener, and we do appreciate you despite me,
[1:12:44] Speaker 2: either forgetting to put your name down or getting lost
[1:12:46] Speaker 2: in transactor, lost in translation gift or a curse public
[1:12:52] Speaker 2: Venmo transactions gift.
[1:12:55] Speaker 4: Why, Oh, it's so personal. It's like a girl I
[1:13:01] Speaker 4: knew from improv who married rich is paying her babysitter
[1:13:08] Speaker 4: with a date Saturday for Saturday. Oh the ephemera A
[1:13:18] Speaker 4: man I dated for.
[1:13:19] Speaker 2: One moment.
[1:13:21] Speaker 4: Paying utilities to a woman who has this same last name.
[1:13:25] Speaker 4: His wife took his name, but he's chipping in for utilities.
[1:13:31] Speaker 2: Correct gift. I don't participate. I refuse to participate, and
[1:13:37] Speaker 2: I feel like it is an opt in, which is
[1:13:39] Speaker 2: always a little confusing for me.
[1:13:41] Speaker 4: Interesting, Oh, I have it, so it's opt out, like
[1:13:45] Speaker 4: you have to opt to make it private.
[1:13:47] Speaker 2: I feel like I've never been asked and I've always
[1:13:49] Speaker 2: been private.
[1:13:50] Speaker 4: Oh maybe it's a setting.
[1:13:52] Speaker 2: Because it feels like it should be backwards. Don't you
[1:13:55] Speaker 2: think like it shouldn't be private, it should be public,
[1:13:58] Speaker 2: and you turn on private.
[1:14:00] Speaker 4: I feel that that's what I have.
[1:14:02] Speaker 2: And you're currently public or you've turned I actually don't know.
[1:14:06] Speaker 4: I think sometimes it's public and someone is private.
[1:14:08] Speaker 2: This is why a worry for me. I'm like, I
[1:14:09] Speaker 2: think I'm private, But am I like this loser from
[1:14:12] Speaker 2: high school that's paying his mom for pizza or whatever?
[1:14:15] Speaker 2: Do you know what I mean? I don't want to
[1:14:16] Speaker 2: be my name like people seeing my petty transactions.
[1:14:20] Speaker 4: I love seeing them, and not even in a mean way.
[1:14:23] Speaker 4: I'm like, it's beautiful. It's like ephemera. It's a torn
[1:14:27] Speaker 4: corner of a birthday card from the eighteen hundreds.
[1:14:30] Speaker 2: Well, I don't mind seeing them. I just don't want
[1:14:31] Speaker 2: to know anyone.
[1:14:33] Speaker 4: There are times where I feel a little bit exhibitionist
[1:14:35] Speaker 4: and I'm like, I want them to see that. I
[1:14:38] Speaker 4: went to dinner with one of my closest friends.
[1:14:43] Speaker 2: And they demanded eighteen dollars. Yeah, yeah, okay, you got
[1:14:47] Speaker 2: one right so far? Thank you. The second one is
[1:14:49] Speaker 2: from two different Patreon listeners. They both submitted a similar thing.
[1:14:53] Speaker 2: Patricia and Sophia thank you gift to a curse when
[1:14:57] Speaker 2: watching a cooking show slash video and the person says
[1:15:00] Speaker 2: Jarlick for jarred garlic curse.
[1:15:04] Speaker 4: Why I've never heard of that, and I don't like
[1:15:09] Speaker 4: the way it sounds.
[1:15:11] Speaker 2: And apparently it's happening a lot, because it's getting submitted
[1:15:14] Speaker 2: by multiple people. Jarlick jar lick.
[1:15:16] Speaker 4: And this is a cooking video. So we're looking at
[1:15:19] Speaker 4: sort of like what are the bone appetite stuff? And
[1:15:23] Speaker 4: someone says, jarl like, a jar of garlic is a curse?
[1:15:26] Speaker 4: You think so, yeah, because it's the it's a bad color,
[1:15:30] Speaker 4: the colors bad. The color is so different from regular
[1:15:33] Speaker 4: you open a garlic, And I don't like the way
[1:15:37] Speaker 4: that the word jarli sounds. We do have frozen garlic,
[1:15:40] Speaker 4: like Trader Joe's will sell those like little tiny ice
[1:15:43] Speaker 4: cube trays farlic farlic that sounds wonderful. That sounds like
[1:15:49] Speaker 4: a folk character. What's the Did I get it right?
[1:15:55] Speaker 2: The answer is it's an it's a curse. Okay, good
[1:15:59] Speaker 2: have you'd have been so I don't think jarlck it's
[1:16:01] Speaker 2: not necessary. It's actually it's more confusing because now we
[1:16:06] Speaker 2: have to learn a new word for a thing that
[1:16:07] Speaker 2: is very When you say jarred garlic, you know what
[1:16:10] Speaker 2: that is?
[1:16:11] Speaker 4: Jarred garlic.
[1:16:13] Speaker 2: Now that we're even saying, I don't I feel like
[1:16:15] Speaker 2: I'm losing grasp of the English language.
[1:16:17] Speaker 4: I feel like I've never heard.
[1:16:18] Speaker 2: A word before jarred garlic.
[1:16:21] Speaker 4: Hearing the two people said that thing where Jarlick makes
[1:16:25] Speaker 4: me feel out of touch, like a loser, like I've
[1:16:28] Speaker 4: been in a coma for three years. What's happening with
[1:16:31] Speaker 4: culture that I don't know that. Sophia and Patricia, they're
[1:16:36] Speaker 4: in a group that's most people, and I'm all the
[1:16:40] Speaker 4: way over here.
[1:16:40] Speaker 2: This is my entire experience. I was just talking about this.
[1:16:43] Speaker 2: I feel like there's a newsletter that goes out to
[1:16:45] Speaker 2: ninety nine percent of the population that I just didn't
[1:16:47] Speaker 2: get signed up for. And I'll be like, wait, everyone
[1:16:50] Speaker 2: knows this, and they knew it immediately, and they're acting
[1:16:53] Speaker 2: like I should have known it about it six months ago.
[1:16:55] Speaker 4: Well, you have your phone on, do not disturb. You're free.
[1:16:58] Speaker 2: But I don't feel free, all right? I want to
[1:17:01] Speaker 2: be I'm desperate for attention to Maybe.
[1:17:06] Speaker 4: Maybe you and I will hold hands and pray out
[1:17:08] Speaker 4: at the end of this and we'll try to become
[1:17:10] Speaker 4: included more.
[1:17:12] Speaker 2: So we'll like, you know about the next jar Lick.
[1:17:16] Speaker 4: Yeah, I want to see it come in. I don't
[1:17:17] Speaker 4: want to get hit in the side of the.
[1:17:18] Speaker 2: Head with another jar. I couldn't handle it.
[1:17:21] Speaker 4: No, it's I'm one jar lick away from a.
[1:17:23] Speaker 2: Rubber room, all right. This third one is from another
[1:17:27] Speaker 2: Patreon person, an a gift or a curse. Salt life
[1:17:31] Speaker 2: car stickers.
[1:17:33] Speaker 4: Oh, like a bumper sticker that says salt life and
[1:17:36] Speaker 4: it's like surf people saying that.
[1:17:38] Speaker 2: I guess that's always been my assumption. That's what it is.
[1:17:41] Speaker 4: I'm I'm smiling. I think it's a gift. I like
[1:17:44] Speaker 4: knowing that people surf because that's so involved. I never
[1:17:50] Speaker 4: we occupy completely different areas and they like their hobby
[1:17:53] Speaker 4: so much that they put a sticker on their car
[1:17:55] Speaker 4: about it. And it's salt and it's salt life. Those
[1:17:59] Speaker 4: are two nice words. I love to see it. I
[1:18:02] Speaker 4: love seeing the back of a car and being like,
[1:18:04] Speaker 4: that's they did a diorama of themselves.
[1:18:08] Speaker 2: Right, like a little like school project. Yes, the trifled cardboard. Yeah, wrong, curse.
[1:18:16] Speaker 4: That just that seems mean.
[1:18:18] Speaker 2: We'll explained this has nothing to do with mean. First
[1:18:20] Speaker 2: of all, I see like you. Until you said the
[1:18:22] Speaker 2: surf thing, I was still wondering what it even meant.
[1:18:25] Speaker 2: So maybe I'm wrong. See what you don't even know?
[1:18:29] Speaker 2: What does it mean? We could be committing to something
[1:18:32] Speaker 2: that's bad right now?
[1:18:33] Speaker 4: Can you have a laptop?
[1:18:34] Speaker 2: This could be a group that you know, bomb's clinics.
[1:18:37] Speaker 2: I don't know what salt life is. I need a
[1:18:42] Speaker 2: more clear It could.
[1:18:45] Speaker 4: H it stands for a save abortion. Let me talk.
[1:18:51] Speaker 4: It's the opposite. Yeah, I think it would be stop abortion. Yes,
[1:18:57] Speaker 4: literally get today? You're literally today life?
[1:19:02] Speaker 2: Yeah? Who knows? And most of these bumper sekers are
[1:19:05] Speaker 2: always so vague and I can't commit to what I
[1:19:08] Speaker 2: don't want to know about your life. Okay, keep it
[1:19:10] Speaker 2: to yourself.
[1:19:11] Speaker 4: You're telling me you're at a red light and there's
[1:19:13] Speaker 4: an empty car but in front of you, and you
[1:19:17] Speaker 4: aren't feeling left out of having a little thing to read.
[1:19:20] Speaker 2: I'm glad to have a moment of peace. All right,
[1:19:25] Speaker 2: Salt life hot least? Do we know what salt life is.
[1:19:28] Speaker 2: I think it's a company.
[1:19:29] Speaker 4: It's a company.
[1:19:30] Speaker 2: Oh, it's a company.
[1:19:31] Speaker 4: Why did I think it was surfing?
[1:19:32] Speaker 2: No, but it's it's connected to celebrating the ocean and
[1:19:36] Speaker 2: coastal activities. Okay, oh my god, they are Okay, then,
[1:19:40] Speaker 2: thank god.
[1:19:41] Speaker 4: I think it's a gift. I love to know that
[1:19:43] Speaker 4: there are people who do the ocean and water activities,
[1:19:46] Speaker 4: and that they also have cars.
[1:19:48] Speaker 2: They're not always in the water.
[1:19:50] Speaker 4: It's not just a boat, it's a car. They can
[1:19:51] Speaker 4: do multitudes. Also, I will say, as an olive branch,
[1:19:55] Speaker 4: sure to this idea, I think the twenty six point
[1:19:59] Speaker 4: two oval umper sticker is a curse.
[1:20:01] Speaker 2: Oh and there's there's just so many of them. Yeah,
[1:20:04] Speaker 2: I can't creep up with the math on which what
[1:20:07] Speaker 2: does this one mean? And like the ones that are
[1:20:09] Speaker 2: really small, I'm like, oh, now I'm just sad. Like,
[1:20:11] Speaker 2: what's the smallest number you can have of one of
[1:20:14] Speaker 2: those things? That's I think it's ten point two, it's
[1:20:19] Speaker 2: or thirteen point thirteen point one is a half marathon.
[1:20:21] Speaker 2: Get back to me when you've got to the full,
[1:20:24] Speaker 2: or just I don't want to know.
[1:20:26] Speaker 4: Don't stop at the sticker. Don't you put the sticker
[1:20:29] Speaker 4: on at thirteen point one?
[1:20:30] Speaker 2: That makes me sad. The energy you spent buying and
[1:20:32] Speaker 2: putting that on your car could have been spent training.
[1:20:35] Speaker 2: You shouldn't be driving, you should be running to work.
[1:20:37] Speaker 2: You should be running. Maybe maybe it.
[1:20:39] Speaker 4: Would be a different number.
[1:20:41] Speaker 2: Absolutely well, you got two out of three. Okay, that's good,
[1:20:46] Speaker 2: Thank you horrible. This is the final segment of the podcast.
[1:20:51] Speaker 2: It's called they said no emails. People a writing into
[1:20:53] Speaker 2: I said no gifts at gmail dot com. They're also
[1:20:55] Speaker 2: sending voice notes. People send voice notes, you prefer it's easier,
[1:21:00] Speaker 2: and they need to be sixty seconds long and recorded
[1:21:02] Speaker 2: in a quiet room. That's easy.
[1:21:04] Speaker 4: This is so fun.
[1:21:05] Speaker 2: But we're gonna read one. Okay, we help me answer
[1:21:07] Speaker 2: a question? Yeah, okay, let's get into the talk here.
[1:21:11] Speaker 2: This is Bridger and guessed, very clean, very cold greeting.
[1:21:16] Speaker 2: I'll say this is please. I need your help with
[1:21:18] Speaker 2: a social dilemma. I have a work event coming up soon,
[1:21:21] Speaker 2: and while I normally feel comfortable chatting with people, I
[1:21:24] Speaker 2: always find myself second guessing how to leave conversations without
[1:21:27] Speaker 2: being awkward. Okay, you know those moments when the conversation
[1:21:31] Speaker 2: has naturally quieted down and you're unsure of what's supposed
[1:21:34] Speaker 2: to happen next. I tend to linger too long out
[1:21:36] Speaker 2: of politeness or leave out of panic. I know both
[1:21:39] Speaker 2: of those feelings. How do you wrap things up at
[1:21:41] Speaker 2: move along? At parties, especially when it's someone more senior
[1:21:44] Speaker 2: or somebody I don't know, well, I never know what
[1:21:46] Speaker 2: to do. Would love any advice or phrases you have
[1:21:49] Speaker 2: to navigate. I imagine you're much better at this. I
[1:21:53] Speaker 2: can't imagine where this person got that idea. Benjamin Benjamin
[1:21:57] Speaker 2: is having the problem of at a converse leaving a conversation.
[1:22:02] Speaker 4: This is a this is a problem that I also have.
[1:22:05] Speaker 2: I don't know how to handle this at all.
[1:22:06] Speaker 4: You are you have like dysmorphia about the way that
[1:22:10] Speaker 4: you come across.
[1:22:10] Speaker 2: No, I think you just don't know me very you're.
[1:22:12] Speaker 4: Very polished and lovely, like straight up. And also, yeah,
[1:22:20] Speaker 4: I don't I don't have an answer. This also the
[1:22:24] Speaker 4: question itself would be like writing in how do I
[1:22:27] Speaker 4: become a prima ballerina with verbal advice? It's like you
[1:22:32] Speaker 4: got to put in the years, you got to know.
[1:22:35] Speaker 4: There's nothing I'm gonna tell you, although I will say,
[1:22:39] Speaker 4: Matt was it or Benjamin Benjamin close. Benjamin did ask
[1:22:43] Speaker 4: a good question in this big existential one, which is
[1:22:46] Speaker 4: do you have suggestions of phrases?
[1:22:48] Speaker 2: Which is incredible, right, gives us an opportunity at least, Yeah,
[1:22:52] Speaker 2: let me think my I mean, my two go tos
[1:22:56] Speaker 2: are always I'm going to get a drink, right, I
[1:22:59] Speaker 2: need to use the bathroom. But you know both of
[1:23:02] Speaker 2: those that you kind of have a small amount of
[1:23:06] Speaker 2: them for each party, because then eventually people are like, well,
[1:23:09] Speaker 2: you've asked, You've gone to get nineteen drinks. How could
[1:23:12] Speaker 2: you possibly know?
[1:23:13] Speaker 4: I also think at this point, I'm going to go
[1:23:15] Speaker 4: get a drink has become like not even euphemistic anymore.
[1:23:22] Speaker 2: People know what's going on.
[1:23:23] Speaker 4: People know exactly what it is, and it's it's almost
[1:23:26] Speaker 4: like a version of looking at your watch going well
[1:23:29] Speaker 4: it's getting late. It's just so used. The first thing
[1:23:35] Speaker 4: I thought of was turning it around to the party
[1:23:38] Speaker 4: saying like do you know anyone else here? Or like
[1:23:41] Speaker 4: oh before, or like bring it out to the space
[1:23:44] Speaker 4: so that way your body language.
[1:23:46] Speaker 2: Kind of opens up. You're half leaving, and.
[1:23:48] Speaker 4: You've made their eyes move away from you, because I
[1:23:51] Speaker 4: find getting stuck in eye contact to be It's sticky.
[1:23:54] Speaker 2: Right, It's very and it's my problem is is like
[1:23:58] Speaker 2: i'll run into a I'll say, well, I'll just I'll
[1:24:00] Speaker 2: let you enjoy it, or I'll leave you alone, is
[1:24:02] Speaker 2: what I'll say. And that's not No one wants to
[1:24:05] Speaker 2: be like Oh, now they think he thinks I'm bothering them.
[1:24:09] Speaker 2: There's no, that's not a good way out of it.
[1:24:11] Speaker 4: I unfortunately do have this dynamic with one of my
[1:24:14] Speaker 4: closest friends, or I had it before, and my husband
[1:24:18] Speaker 4: overheard us doing exactly what you're saying. Like I was
[1:24:22] Speaker 4: saying to her, I don't want to take up too
[1:24:24] Speaker 4: much of your time. Sorry, you probably have to go,
[1:24:28] Speaker 4: and she was saying, I'm so sorry. I'll get out
[1:24:30] Speaker 4: of your hair. I just need to charge my phone.
[1:24:31] Speaker 4: I'll be out of here. And he saw we are
[1:24:34] Speaker 4: very close friends. We worked together for years. She officiated
[1:24:39] Speaker 4: my wedding. He was watching it happen and stopped us
[1:24:44] Speaker 4: and said, I just need to say something. Neither of
[1:24:48] Speaker 4: you has plans, and both of you want to be
[1:24:54] Speaker 4: with each other. You like each other, you are friends.
[1:25:00] Speaker 4: You are being friends right now, and you're not mad
[1:25:04] Speaker 4: at her, she's not mad at you. You both want
[1:25:08] Speaker 4: her to sit on your couch and watch Celtic Woman
[1:25:12] Speaker 4: music videos.
[1:25:12] Speaker 2: Oh, I like say, stand of this.
[1:25:14] Speaker 4: We do it. And then that was like a turning
[1:25:17] Speaker 4: point in our friendship. We need it to be like
[1:25:19] Speaker 4: manually reset.
[1:25:22] Speaker 2: No, I think you get into rhythms like that.
[1:25:24] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, but yeah, the saying like I'll get out
[1:25:26] Speaker 4: of your hair, right, I think, oh, they want to
[1:25:29] Speaker 4: get away. Yeah, other phrases, this is great. I feel
[1:25:33] Speaker 4: like I don't want to tell you how to run
[1:25:34] Speaker 4: your show, but I would love to hear people write
[1:25:36] Speaker 4: in with phrases.
[1:25:37] Speaker 2: That, oh, that's a great I have you get out
[1:25:39] Speaker 2: of a conversation.
[1:25:40] Speaker 4: Yeah, polite things, Oh, it's great.
[1:25:42] Speaker 2: To back away. I would love to hear something for
[1:25:44] Speaker 2: my own well being. Yeah, do you know what I mean?
[1:25:47] Speaker 2: This is kind of in the same territory. I wonder
[1:25:49] Speaker 2: how you feel about nice to see you, because people
[1:25:52] Speaker 2: have started cheating with saying that instead of saying nice
[1:25:55] Speaker 2: to meet you, and I see right through it, and
[1:25:56] Speaker 2: I just think.
[1:25:57] Speaker 4: Nice to see you is a weird fucking thing to
[1:25:59] Speaker 4: say forever. Regardless, if you're meeting someone for the first
[1:26:02] Speaker 4: time and they say nice to see you, I know
[1:26:04] Speaker 4: that they're doing the thing where they don't know if
[1:26:05] Speaker 4: you met me or not.
[1:26:06] Speaker 2: Nobody is being fooled by that anymore. No.
[1:26:09] Speaker 4: Wait, I just thought of one. It's I'm gonna take
[1:26:12] Speaker 4: a lap, I'm going to.
[1:26:13] Speaker 2: Circulate a little. And you think that's good.
[1:26:15] Speaker 4: Well, you do it like in a tongue in cheek
[1:26:16] Speaker 4: way where it's like, all right, let me just do
[1:26:18] Speaker 4: a lap, where you're like, I'm gonna let me just circulate.
[1:26:22] Speaker 4: I'm gonna have to hobnob, so it takes the pressure
[1:26:28] Speaker 4: out of it.
[1:26:28] Speaker 2: I can't imagine myself saying that I'm gonna take a lap.
[1:26:32] Speaker 2: Does that sound.
[1:26:35] Speaker 4: Jimmy Stewart affect.
[1:26:36] Speaker 2: No, not at all. I don't know what to say.
[1:26:42] Speaker 2: I'm trapped.
[1:26:43] Speaker 4: I'm I'm an earthy, brassy, sort of broad type. I
[1:26:48] Speaker 4: can get away with it.
[1:26:49] Speaker 2: I'm gonna take a lap. I'm going to see what's
[1:26:51] Speaker 2: on the.
[1:26:52] Speaker 4: Let me just I have to say hi to a
[1:26:53] Speaker 4: few people.
[1:26:54] Speaker 2: Oh, I have to stay hi to a few again.
[1:26:56] Speaker 2: That seems mean.
[1:26:59] Speaker 4: I have to. I want to make sure I say
[1:27:02] Speaker 4: I've talked to you enough. Well, this has gone far enough.
[1:27:07] Speaker 4: I feel trapped. I'm gonna.
[1:27:11] Speaker 2: I can barely breathe. This isn't great.
[1:27:14] Speaker 4: Just walk away, yeah, I think also like calling attention
[1:27:17] Speaker 4: to it, like, wow, did you feel the conversation? Just
[1:27:20] Speaker 4: go away crazy hard right now? Holy shit, I'm scared?
[1:27:23] Speaker 4: Are you scared?
[1:27:25] Speaker 2: I think that's fair. I feel sick and maybe blame
[1:27:27] Speaker 2: them for it. Yeah, and then say I gotta go
[1:27:30] Speaker 2: get a drink. Perfect.
[1:27:32] Speaker 4: Because of how horrible this was.
[1:27:35] Speaker 2: I hope that we don't cross pads again. Wow. I'm
[1:27:38] Speaker 2: gonna be watching out for you. This was hard for me.
[1:27:40] Speaker 4: This sucked.
[1:27:42] Speaker 2: Well. We answered the question perfectly.
[1:27:44] Speaker 4: Yeah, but people should still write in with you, bra.
[1:27:46] Speaker 2: If people I think send them in. I think that
[1:27:49] Speaker 2: maybe we could next episode or whenever we get these phrases,
[1:27:53] Speaker 2: we'll update let people know, just in order to help
[1:27:57] Speaker 2: in situations. This is great again. It's autility podcast. People
[1:28:01] Speaker 2: come here for life help.
[1:28:04] Speaker 4: This is this old house of talking exactly.
[1:28:09] Speaker 2: Well, I have so many things to deal with that
[1:28:12] Speaker 2: you've brought today.
[1:28:13] Speaker 4: Yeah, good luck.
[1:28:14] Speaker 2: This could change everything from me walking and I felt
[1:28:17] Speaker 2: worried for you that you display the gifts, and I
[1:28:20] Speaker 2: hope that you don't feel the pressure to put them
[1:28:23] Speaker 2: all up. We'll put up whatever we want. It's kind
[1:28:25] Speaker 2: of rotating, okay, great, oh, rotating.
[1:28:27] Speaker 4: Okay, it's a gallery.
[1:28:28] Speaker 2: It's a gallery. I mean, if you had to pick what,
[1:28:31] Speaker 2: this could easily this.
[1:28:32] Speaker 4: Yeah, that really that goes.
[1:28:34] Speaker 2: It goes matches with the dinosaur and the unicorn.
[1:28:38] Speaker 4: Imagine you just hit your hand on the table while
[1:28:41] Speaker 4: unspooling this slinky. Imagine if this table were marble. Oh,
[1:28:44] Speaker 4: you'd be bleeding.
[1:28:45] Speaker 2: You'd be bleeding and cold, so chilly, Willy, I can't
[1:28:49] Speaker 2: believe had long sticks to get off. Okay, there we go,
[1:28:52] Speaker 2: it's going right on to the table. Look at that there.
[1:28:56] Speaker 2: Oh she matches the cactus candy perfectly gorgeous.
[1:29:01] Speaker 3: Oh.
[1:29:02] Speaker 2: I've had such a nice time with you.
[1:29:03] Speaker 4: This was lovely.
[1:29:04] Speaker 2: Thank you for bringing all of these objects.
[1:29:07] Speaker 4: Thank you for taking them off my hands.
[1:29:08] Speaker 2: Of course, really this rocked listener. The podcast is over.
[1:29:12] Speaker 2: We're closing it down for the day. Do whatever you
[1:29:16] Speaker 2: want to do. I don't want anything to do with it.
