[0:00] Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous. It's Lala Kent. Welcome to untraditionally Lala, Hello, gorgeous.
[0:08] Speaker 2: Hello.
[0:10] Speaker 1: That's what mom did. That's what mom did.
[0:14] Speaker 2: Hi Mom. Here's the thing. Lisa's in this studio.
[0:17] Speaker 3: She doesn't want a pod, but now that she doesn't
[0:19] Speaker 3: have a mic, she's gonna have a lot to say.
[0:22] Speaker 1: I pray for that. I really really hope that that
[0:26] Speaker 1: is the case. We've spoken a lot about you on
[0:29] Speaker 1: the pod what are You Doing?
[0:30] Speaker 2: Had a lot to say, Oh.
[0:33] Speaker 1: She made a joke. We have had a lot to
[0:38] Speaker 1: say about you on the podcast. We have been following
[0:42] Speaker 1: your hip surgery journey. Our friends slash listeners are very
[0:48] Speaker 1: worried about you.
[0:49] Speaker 3: And thank you to all the friends and listeners and
[0:52] Speaker 3: everybody a part of the pod reaching out to not
[0:56] Speaker 3: only you, I guarantee reaching out to me giving you know,
[0:59] Speaker 3: people have stories the same as yours. So I'm just
[1:02] Speaker 3: very blessed that everybody is so worried about my mother
[1:04] Speaker 3: and the way we are.
[1:06] Speaker 1: I'm just when I walked in, so you guys, I
[1:10] Speaker 1: haven't seen my mom in the studio for a while,
[1:12] Speaker 1: and she used to always like want to come to
[1:14] Speaker 1: the studio just to get her out of the house,
[1:16] Speaker 1: and I walked back in because I recorded Unlikely today
[1:22] Speaker 1: and this gorgeous blonde woman is sitting in a chair
[1:27] Speaker 1: and my mother walked.
[1:28] Speaker 2: In behind me. Did you like that?
[1:34] Speaker 3: I'm on a rip today, baby talking all right, So
[1:47] Speaker 3: we're all a little bit consuited.
[1:50] Speaker 1: Even looking like this. I'm like, Yns, I'm right, but
[1:55] Speaker 1: I was so excited to see you, Mama. You were
[1:58] Speaker 1: sawing logs in my bed last night. I actually felt
[2:00] Speaker 1: badly being like, are you going to sleep in here?
[2:04] Speaker 1: Because I have you an ocean and ocean is like
[2:06] Speaker 1: my freaking shadow right now. You saw it last night.
[2:09] Speaker 1: It's a lot. I walked into the bathroom mom, Mom,
[2:14] Speaker 1: where are you? I was like, I'm going to the bathroom.
[2:16] Speaker 1: I'm going to come in there. It's fine.
[2:19] Speaker 2: You left today. We were in the playroom when you
[2:22] Speaker 2: first left.
[2:23] Speaker 3: Yeah, she's looking out the window with one leg back,
[2:27] Speaker 3: leaning on the window and you're pulling out and she goes.
[2:32] Speaker 2: I just really wish my mom wasn't leaving me. Oh,
[2:38] Speaker 2: I know, and whipped cream.
[2:41] Speaker 1: You know what I tell her when she tells me
[2:44] Speaker 1: all of those things, like I don't want to be
[2:46] Speaker 1: left alone without you, and I go, that's how I
[2:50] Speaker 1: still feel about my mom. I get it, I get you. Girl.
[2:54] Speaker 1: That's not gonna go away, at least I hope it won't.
[2:56] Speaker 1: I was very, very proud of the mother that I
[2:59] Speaker 1: was this weekend. Can I get a clap? Lisa? You're
[3:06] Speaker 1: practicing on the softball field?
[3:09] Speaker 2: She was, how id it? She was fucking how baby?
[3:14] Speaker 2: She was cheering. There was a couple of Marlborough cracks
[3:19] Speaker 2: in there.
[3:19] Speaker 1: Go, I don't even care you go, Glen Coco. I'm
[3:25] Speaker 1: so happy to hear that. I want to hear all
[3:27] Speaker 1: about your guys' trip, but first let me too my
[3:29] Speaker 1: own horn. So I always take pride in the mother
[3:34] Speaker 1: that I am, because let's be honest, as mothers, you
[3:37] Speaker 1: really don't know what the hell you're doing, and each
[3:40] Speaker 1: phase is different, and then as you're doing it, it's
[3:42] Speaker 1: kind of like you start running. You're metaphorically and you're like,
[3:46] Speaker 1: oh my gosh, I'm doing it. I'm fucking doing it.
[3:50] Speaker 1: But I have a lot of help. Right this weekend
[3:55] Speaker 1: I had a no help. I had a meet that
[3:58] Speaker 1: was it me with the two kids, and I wasn't
[4:02] Speaker 1: nervous or anything. I know, I knew I would be
[4:05] Speaker 1: very tired. But girl, I had a jam packed weekend
[4:13] Speaker 1: full of fun. Friday, I had Janet and her mom
[4:17] Speaker 1: come over. We swam all day. She Janet brought over
[4:23] Speaker 1: steak noki. She made it at a mom may it.
[4:28] Speaker 1: Janet is such a good cook. Now, yeah, we all
[4:31] Speaker 1: had dinner together. I didn't know. Yeah, Janet made it.
[4:36] Speaker 1: I made it. That's what you declined.
[4:37] Speaker 3: No, I thought it was just pre I thought it
[4:39] Speaker 3: was just like the prepackaged where we just put it
[4:42] Speaker 3: in a thing.
[4:42] Speaker 1: But no, she brought rosemary. She brought her own skillet,
[4:48] Speaker 1: which she made, not a store bought. She's like rendered
[4:51] Speaker 1: fat whatever that means, made of sauce. I was like,
[4:54] Speaker 1: you can't do that. She even brought her own salt
[4:58] Speaker 1: and pepper because she didn't think that I would have
[5:00] Speaker 1: salt and pepper. I was like, Janet, Janet, do we
[5:05] Speaker 1: all right? How do you think I flavor all of
[5:08] Speaker 1: my boxed goods? Gotta have some salt? Fabulous? So we
[5:13] Speaker 1: all had dinner together, ran the kids into the ground. Saturday.
[5:16] Speaker 1: I planned a playdate with a little girl who Ocean's
[5:20] Speaker 1: gonna go to her new school with. That was amazing. Sunday,
[5:28] Speaker 1: we had a throwback friend, meaning Ocean's old school, her
[5:33] Speaker 1: little teacake friend who I love, that entire family, and
[5:38] Speaker 1: we were there from ten thirty to three thirty. I
[5:41] Speaker 1: could not believe it. And every night I would put
[5:44] Speaker 1: Sosa down at like six thirty seven. She would be exhausted.
[5:48] Speaker 1: She wouldn't even fight me. And then Ocean and I
[5:51] Speaker 1: all three nights would make popcorn and put Eminem's and
[5:56] Speaker 1: she would pick what movies she wanted and we'd eat
[5:58] Speaker 1: it in the bed and she would look at me,
[6:01] Speaker 1: hug me and say, Mom, this is the best night ever.
[6:04] Speaker 1: Like she just wants your time and attention. And there
[6:08] Speaker 1: was one thing that happened and she said, I was
[6:10] Speaker 1: on my phone and she said she paused the move
[6:13] Speaker 1: me and she said, Mom, you told me that you
[6:15] Speaker 1: would lay in the bed and watch a movie. That
[6:18] Speaker 1: means you can't have your phone, because that means you're
[6:20] Speaker 1: not paying attention. And I was like, she's clocking it right,
[6:24] Speaker 1: and I said, that is absolutely correct. And I put
[6:28] Speaker 1: my phone on the charger, which I keep my phone
[6:30] Speaker 1: away from my bed. But it was just very sweet
[6:34] Speaker 1: and I really really enjoyed, like I missed you guys,
[6:36] Speaker 1: and Ocean missed you guys terribly. But I had really
[6:41] Speaker 1: great one on one time with my kids where they
[6:44] Speaker 1: got mom time, they got to socialize with kids their
[6:47] Speaker 1: age because there were some kids that were Sosa's age.
[6:51] Speaker 1: I just I was very proud of myself as a
[6:53] Speaker 1: mom this weekend. That's all I'm going to say.
[6:54] Speaker 2: We are very proud of you as well.
[6:56] Speaker 1: Thank you. Eathtant does it all the time for me.
[6:58] Speaker 1: Isn't always with my two, it's by myself.
[7:00] Speaker 2: It's a lot. So I get you on that one.
[7:02] Speaker 3: But shit, twenty forty eight hours with no help, oh god, yeah,
[7:09] Speaker 3: good job.
[7:10] Speaker 1: More than that. You just left Friday morning and got
[7:13] Speaker 1: home Monday night.
[7:15] Speaker 2: But we had a CC.
[7:17] Speaker 3: I'm saying forty eight hours no help Saturday Sunday, oh yeah,
[7:21] Speaker 3: yeah yeah.
[7:21] Speaker 2: And still I will give you the nights though, because
[7:24] Speaker 2: boy do they come quick.
[7:26] Speaker 1: Yeah, and not five o'clock. God, at dinnertime. The one
[7:31] Speaker 1: and a half two hours is the slowest moving one
[7:35] Speaker 1: and a half to two hours of my whole life.
[7:37] Speaker 3: Now from four to six, it's snail time. Brutal, It's
[7:41] Speaker 3: a brutal brutal. Yeah, I don't know how it passes,
[7:45] Speaker 3: but God, by chance it does.
[7:47] Speaker 1: Yeah, and then I'm like, oh, it's five thirty. I
[7:49] Speaker 1: could do bath time and by then it'll be six.
[7:51] Speaker 1: What bath takes thirty minutes for a kid? None?
[7:54] Speaker 2: No, there's there were.
[7:55] Speaker 3: When I was watching them, I was like, if I
[7:57] Speaker 3: go to the grocery store with both of them an
[8:00] Speaker 3: hour and it'll be six, I can feed her.
[8:04] Speaker 2: All right, let's get in the car. Guys, waste this time?
[8:08] Speaker 1: No for real, Okay, tell me about Swingers. That's Easton's
[8:13] Speaker 1: gay softball team that he's on. He's the token straight.
[8:16] Speaker 2: We have a couple.
[8:18] Speaker 1: For now. I each team gets two straight people. Yeah, yeah,
[8:23] Speaker 1: freaking love it.
[8:25] Speaker 3: Well, yeah, there was a woman there. Her name was
[8:28] Speaker 3: Mama on the back of her shirt. She called me
[8:30] Speaker 3: her husband, and I kind of liked it. She goes,
[8:35] Speaker 3: take it easy, take it easy on. My future husband
[8:41] Speaker 3: was old enough to be my mother.
[8:43] Speaker 1: I love that. That's so cute she I mean, she was.
[8:47] Speaker 2: It was weird fun.
[8:49] Speaker 3: I stepped up to the plate and she goes, you
[8:53] Speaker 3: are something to look at. She goes, can I have
[8:55] Speaker 3: a piece?
[8:56] Speaker 2: And I just smiled at her and she goes, unless
[8:58] Speaker 2: you like dick, like the rest of them. I go hey,
[9:01] Speaker 2: I go I'm the token straight and she goes hey,
[9:04] Speaker 2: and then I hit it.
[9:06] Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought you were gonna say liquor.
[9:08] Speaker 2: I was like, no, oh, no, her licoric for some salt. Well,
[9:12] Speaker 2: a lot of games being played.
[9:14] Speaker 1: Don't even act like it would be that shocking if
[9:16] Speaker 1: she shared her liquor, especially with Mom, because I learned
[9:19] Speaker 1: that Lisa smoked weed while they were in Seattle.
[9:23] Speaker 3: Because everybody listening, as you know, my mother, she had
[9:26] Speaker 3: her hip replaced. She's kicking like all the meds that
[9:30] Speaker 3: they had her on, and she just feels a little off.
[9:33] Speaker 3: And I was just everything that she is feeling. Marijuana
[9:37] Speaker 3: was a good like medical marijuana was a good alternative
[9:41] Speaker 3: to everything. So when she'd get her tremor, she'd smoke it,
[9:44] Speaker 3: and so me and Nicky went and bought her one.
[9:47] Speaker 1: The whole thing this weekend was getting you through on
[9:50] Speaker 1: your same meds. I called your doctor and they are
[9:55] Speaker 1: they've prescribed you something that I guess helps with Parkinson's
[10:01] Speaker 1: because you are displaying symptoms of that. However, I have
[10:07] Speaker 1: this text thread with a few sober people in it,
[10:10] Speaker 1: and I had gone mia for a minute and my
[10:12] Speaker 1: sponsor side texted me and said, you know, is everything okay?
[10:16] Speaker 1: Do you still want to be a part of that
[10:18] Speaker 1: group that group chat because we haven't heard from you.
[10:22] Speaker 1: So I responded and I let the group know kind of.
[10:25] Speaker 1: It's a gratitude text thread, so you say what you're
[10:27] Speaker 1: grateful for, and you keep people updated on what's happening
[10:29] Speaker 1: in your life while also pointing out the things that
[10:32] Speaker 1: you are grateful for. And then I called my sponsor.
[10:36] Speaker 1: She was like, it's so crazy that in that text
[10:39] Speaker 1: thread you mentioned DIP. Because what DIP is is drug
[10:44] Speaker 1: induced Parkinson's and it happens after surgery. It's when your
[10:48] Speaker 1: body reacts differently poorly to medication anesthesia, blocking the dopamine
[10:56] Speaker 1: release in your brain, and you display symptoms of Parkinson's.
[11:00] Speaker 1: The difference is at some point in time it wears
[11:03] Speaker 1: off to where dopamine is firing again the way it
[11:07] Speaker 1: needs to be. She said, my sister had that five
[11:11] Speaker 1: years ago. It took about a year for her to
[11:14] Speaker 1: like come to again. But I had never heard of
[11:17] Speaker 1: DIP before. It's not common, but she had it after
[11:21] Speaker 1: hip surgery. I'm like, that is crazy, I know, And
[11:25] Speaker 1: this is how I know my mom is off because
[11:26] Speaker 1: normally she would be like, that makes me nervous. The
[11:30] Speaker 1: hard thing with Parkinson's, from what I've read and what
[11:35] Speaker 1: neurologists we've spoken to, it's a process of elimination. There's
[11:39] Speaker 1: no brain scan, no blood test that you can have
[11:42] Speaker 1: that shows you have Parkinson's. It is doing the initial
[11:47] Speaker 1: testing that you as of right now passed. I will
[11:52] Speaker 1: get your results back on the twenty second. We have
[11:56] Speaker 1: the actual brain scan that needs to be scheduled. But
[12:01] Speaker 1: our primary physician said, you start treating for Parkinson's and
[12:05] Speaker 1: if there is you know, progress, I guess with the symptoms,
[12:10] Speaker 1: then then we know what direction to go in. I
[12:13] Speaker 1: am hopeful, I really am. But it's been Yeah, it's
[12:21] Speaker 1: always scary.
[12:21] Speaker 2: It's scary. The unknown is scary. Okay, I think you're
[12:27] Speaker 2: going to be just fine. I really do. Seeing you,
[12:31] Speaker 2: seeing you do the tests and all of that.
[12:33] Speaker 3: I know it's hard for you because you're not there
[12:36] Speaker 3: physically to see how well you're doing. But you did
[12:39] Speaker 3: the test very well. Like I wasn't nervous at all. Yeah.
[12:43] Speaker 1: I think it's also though, even though she's passing the tests,
[12:48] Speaker 1: we don't have an answer to why she's feeling the
[12:50] Speaker 1: way that she's and that's the only thing we know
[12:53] Speaker 1: is after the hip surgery, everything changed, and whether it
[12:59] Speaker 1: triggered something in the brain that is a forever thing,
[13:02] Speaker 1: whether it triggered something in the brain that is going
[13:04] Speaker 1: to be, you know, a blip in time, and we're
[13:07] Speaker 1: going to get through it. When we have answers, we
[13:10] Speaker 1: will have a roadmap to how we take care of
[13:12] Speaker 1: you and I. There are just little things that I feel,
[13:22] Speaker 1: little things that I feel are like so normal, just
[13:25] Speaker 1: like conversations with someone or hearing someone laugh.
[13:30] Speaker 4: They like you don't even clock right, And now I
[13:33] Speaker 4: don't really have long conversations with you. I rarely hear
[13:38] Speaker 4: you laugh, and I just want that.
[13:40] Speaker 1: To come back. Sorry, I can't even imagine how. I'm
[13:45] Speaker 1: sure you're very scared, but we're here with you.
[13:49] Speaker 2: I hope you know that you're never doing anything alone.
[13:53] Speaker 1: No, I'm so happy that the other things, even though
[13:56] Speaker 1: you don't feel well, like you want to be active,
[13:58] Speaker 1: Like you wanted to go to Montana for a week,
[14:00] Speaker 1: you wanted to go to Seattle. Even that day when
[14:02] Speaker 1: you guys were supposed to leave, I was like, are
[14:03] Speaker 1: you sure you feel up to going, and you were like.
[14:06] Speaker 2: I'm very proud.
[14:07] Speaker 1: I'm not not going.
[14:08] Speaker 3: I'm very proud of you because I know traveling isn't
[14:11] Speaker 3: easy with how you feel doing everything that you have
[14:13] Speaker 3: to do every day. I want you to know I'm
[14:16] Speaker 3: very proud of you, and I love that you are
[14:19] Speaker 3: up and moving even when you are feeling mentally and
[14:22] Speaker 3: physically like shit.
[14:24] Speaker 2: Very proud of you.
[14:25] Speaker 1: I really think everything is going to be okay. But
[14:28] Speaker 1: then obviously fear is just a part of life in
[14:31] Speaker 1: the unknown. But no matter what, like, we're going to
[14:34] Speaker 1: get through it, and we're going to get through it
[14:35] Speaker 1: as a family, and you're loved and supported and I'm
[14:38] Speaker 1: so happy you went. And Easton had like the game
[14:40] Speaker 1: of his life. Games. They played eight games.
[14:44] Speaker 2: We had eight games in two days. Hey two homerus whoop, whoop.
[14:49] Speaker 3: I had the highest batting average on a team with
[14:51] Speaker 3: like eighty four percent on base percentage. I got MVP
[14:55] Speaker 3: with a big old chain. I'll post it, but no,
[14:59] Speaker 3: it was way Can I be honest. Everybody has heard
[15:02] Speaker 3: about my shoulder and just getting it fixed.
[15:05] Speaker 1: I didn't change everything.
[15:07] Speaker 2: Well yeah that PRP man.
[15:08] Speaker 3: I am going to say, if you have anything that
[15:11] Speaker 3: feels a little off or like ligament that's popping out.
[15:14] Speaker 2: I would highly recommend PRP.
[15:18] Speaker 3: My shoulder is in the it feels like it's in
[15:22] Speaker 3: the best like shape it's ever been in. Like there's
[15:24] Speaker 3: it's tight, I can hit.
[15:26] Speaker 2: It's not a thought. Yeah, no, like I actually have fun.
[15:30] Speaker 3: And it was good to have like the team because
[15:32] Speaker 3: you know when you're like, hey, my shoulder's bad, when
[15:34] Speaker 3: it gets better, I'll be good, and they're like, hey, yeah,
[15:36] Speaker 3: I get out of here, kid, And then I did.
[15:39] Speaker 3: So it was good because then they all came up
[15:40] Speaker 3: and they were like, wow, you weren't lying. I was like, yes,
[15:43] Speaker 3: I told you my shoulder was fucked up, man, And
[15:46] Speaker 3: now they all see it.
[15:47] Speaker 2: So it was good that I did what I did
[15:49] Speaker 2: because now I feel a part of the team.
[15:51] Speaker 3: We love loved Seattle. We were in Isaquah, so outside
[15:56] Speaker 3: of Seattle. It's like twenty five minutes thirty minutes out
[16:00] Speaker 3: side of Seattle. It is.
[16:04] Speaker 2: Beautiful.
[16:04] Speaker 3: The air was crisp, Like we got out of the
[16:07] Speaker 3: airport and I was like, wow, no, we got yesterday.
[16:13] Speaker 1: We walked out.
[16:15] Speaker 2: Me and Nick both looked at it. I was like,
[16:16] Speaker 2: is this airships here? He goes. I was just thinking
[16:18] Speaker 2: that in La.
[16:19] Speaker 1: Yes, there's a lot of people out here, which places.
[16:22] Speaker 1: I heard a lot of people from FIFA the love La.
[16:26] Speaker 1: They were like very pleased about the best comment I ranch,
[16:30] Speaker 1: ranch was the number one American people.
[16:32] Speaker 2: Were taking the home ranch by the gallons in their bags. Yeah.
[16:35] Speaker 1: Also they never tried the one from spaghetti factory or
[16:38] Speaker 1: a pizza factory.
[16:39] Speaker 2: Oh that buttermilk ranch.
[16:41] Speaker 1: That ranch slaps.
[16:42] Speaker 2: I've never tasted a.
[16:43] Speaker 1: Ranch like that.
[16:44] Speaker 2: Yeah, ranch wishes it.
[16:45] Speaker 1: Was that ranch Utah Salt Lake, the greatest Saint George.
[16:49] Speaker 2: If we're going to be specific.
[16:50] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, o G you're right, maybe they here, maybe
[16:55] Speaker 1: someone I don't.
[16:56] Speaker 2: Can I talk about my labu being stole?
[16:58] Speaker 3: One?
[16:58] Speaker 1: Coming back to that? It's very weird, very weird.
[17:04] Speaker 2: Stands, wasn't it called Stan's BBQ?
[17:07] Speaker 1: We don't even have a barbecue that could get stolen?
[17:10] Speaker 2: No, in the old town. Lisa's taking it back to
[17:14] Speaker 2: the barbecue that we had in Issaqua.
[17:16] Speaker 1: Oh wow, we're really okay At the beginning of the episode, Yeah.
[17:19] Speaker 2: Yeah, Lisa, I'm just glad you're here. Baby, We're just
[17:22] Speaker 2: glad you're here.
[17:23] Speaker 1: What else you want to talk about? Lisa.
[17:24] Speaker 2: God damn it, Lisa, keep on coming. Give it face.
[17:29] Speaker 1: Is so proud, Lauren.
[17:31] Speaker 2: You should have seen me out there.
[17:32] Speaker 1: I was very proud.
[17:34] Speaker 2: Only twice.
[17:36] Speaker 1: I know eight.
[17:38] Speaker 2: I won the pot. I know money.
[17:40] Speaker 3: Yeah, I won like two hundred and something dollars. Eh,
[17:47] Speaker 3: it hasn't hit the account yet, but I'll be looking.
[17:50] Speaker 3: Hasn't hit the old.
[17:51] Speaker 2: Venmo, I know.
[17:55] Speaker 3: Trust me, I am very, very proud of you and
[17:58] Speaker 3: everybody listening. I was below five hundred, so I was
[18:01] Speaker 3: the shittiest batter on the team. I'm the best, just
[18:04] Speaker 3: a shoulder away from being great.
[18:06] Speaker 1: Eight.
[18:06] Speaker 2: Now I'm in the eight and the highest you have
[18:09] Speaker 2: to move up in the league.
[18:10] Speaker 1: In the league, it's going to be a devastating day.
[18:12] Speaker 2: No, my batting is good, but my batting percentage is
[18:15] Speaker 2: like still in where I need to be.
[18:16] Speaker 1: You're not consistent.
[18:18] Speaker 3: If I keep no, I was five hundred. This was
[18:21] Speaker 3: the only tournament I've been good. If I keep doing this,
[18:24] Speaker 3: it'll put me up points.
[18:25] Speaker 2: And then what I'll do.
[18:27] Speaker 3: Is I'll be a little shittier in the field. I
[18:29] Speaker 3: want to hit me right in the chest. Would I
[18:31] Speaker 3: tell you these things are speeding at you like ninety
[18:33] Speaker 3: miles an hour. They're coming at you.
[18:35] Speaker 1: It's like an MLB speed.
[18:37] Speaker 3: No, those are well, I'll say, I lie to you
[18:39] Speaker 3: pretty heavily. They're probably coming off at like fifty or sixty,
[18:42] Speaker 3: but nine. When you're thirty three and never played baseball,
[18:45] Speaker 3: really you know they're coming at it like ninety. I
[18:47] Speaker 3: dove and caught one. Good for you, dove stretched out,
[18:51] Speaker 3: caught it. Everybody on the other bench, good stretch, I said,
[18:55] Speaker 3: damn right, oh wow, So I'm Lauren.
[18:58] Speaker 1: I was just out there just a lot of sportsmen ship.
[19:00] Speaker 2: That's what I really love about the league.
[19:03] Speaker 3: I will say we were getting our asses just fucking
[19:05] Speaker 3: handed to us because the team was really good. But like,
[19:09] Speaker 3: you can't hate anybody because like even if they're running
[19:12] Speaker 3: the score up on you, like they're always like yeah,
[19:14] Speaker 3: sometimes you get them like you're just nice.
[19:16] Speaker 2: That's yeah, there's.
[19:18] Speaker 1: Nothing to gain from this extent. You're all out there
[19:20] Speaker 1: having fun and it's like, I tell you, amazing that
[19:23] Speaker 1: you're on that team. You had your team over for
[19:25] Speaker 1: a barbecue. A few weeks we're doing it again.
[19:28] Speaker 2: By the way.
[19:28] Speaker 1: It's so much fun. Everyone's such a good vibe. They're
[19:32] Speaker 1: so cute with my kids. Your team.
[19:34] Speaker 3: Yeah, No, I have like a really really good team
[19:36] Speaker 3: that I've fought, like fallen very in love with. Just
[19:40] Speaker 3: like being around, playing around, they build you up, they
[19:42] Speaker 3: tease you. It's like, oh, Mom, was like sitting outside
[19:46] Speaker 3: and like three of my teammates came up and they
[19:49] Speaker 3: were like, hey, with all the balls like coming and flying,
[19:52] Speaker 3: we don't want her to get hit.
[19:53] Speaker 2: Can we bring her into the dugout? So I was
[19:55] Speaker 2: like yeah, so like they all just like.
[20:00] Speaker 1: Of England, it's all hot.
[20:01] Speaker 3: Like I'm grabbing my gear taking it to another field.
[20:04] Speaker 3: I look over like my whole team is like helping
[20:06] Speaker 3: Lisa like get her stuff.
[20:07] Speaker 2: I was like I was coming out Jesus.
[20:11] Speaker 1: Now.
[20:11] Speaker 2: It was a lot because she had a lot.
[20:12] Speaker 3: Of my gear too, so like it was my gear
[20:14] Speaker 3: that she was holding on to heavy. Mom was doing
[20:17] Speaker 3: a lot though. I'd see her just like stretching. I'd
[20:19] Speaker 3: be on third base and she'd be going lifting her
[20:21] Speaker 3: legs up, doing her little leg exercises.
[20:23] Speaker 1: That's so good, Mom.
[20:24] Speaker 2: Lisa. Trying is all it is. Do five, do ten.
[20:28] Speaker 2: That's more than you did yesterday. You're going to read
[20:31] Speaker 2: atomic habits.
[20:33] Speaker 1: If you just okay, one thing at a time. You said, well,
[20:35] Speaker 1: let's not have a reading as well. Let's just get
[20:38] Speaker 1: her to lift her limbs every so often.
[20:40] Speaker 2: Lift the limb to read right.
[20:44] Speaker 1: So many words per minute you can get You're.
[20:45] Speaker 2: Going to read a whole book by the end of
[20:47] Speaker 2: your life.
[20:59] Speaker 1: What are we talking about? The laboo boo? Yeah, guys
[21:04] Speaker 1: comes upstairs to day He's like, hey, did you drive
[21:06] Speaker 1: the Mercedes? I was like, is this a real question?
[21:09] Speaker 1: On what planet? Would I ever drive that thing? And
[21:12] Speaker 1: it does all I know you would never drive it
[21:15] Speaker 1: whatever year, And I was like, has nothing to do
[21:17] Speaker 1: with this, And I was like, maybe she could. With
[21:20] Speaker 1: how low you are to the ground in a car.
[21:23] Speaker 2: I still don't like it. I love it.
[21:25] Speaker 3: But so I'm going in my car last night because
[21:29] Speaker 3: a little hungry, you want to get food. My center
[21:31] Speaker 3: consoles open, and that is it.
[21:33] Speaker 1: Okay.
[21:34] Speaker 2: I get in nothing. It feels like somebody was in
[21:38] Speaker 2: the car. I got.
[21:42] Speaker 1: Like, they didn't take that with them.
[21:45] Speaker 3: What's in there? Yeah, my golf clubs are in the garage.
[21:50] Speaker 3: Nothing's in the trunk. So I get in there, center
[21:52] Speaker 3: consoles open. I have la boo boos that I like,
[21:55] Speaker 3: just trade out in my car. That just like hang,
[21:58] Speaker 3: you can judge me. No, I'll take a picture of it.
[22:01] Speaker 3: And so I have one hanging still there, two in
[22:06] Speaker 3: one bag, still there, one in one bag, gone by
[22:10] Speaker 3: so many.
[22:11] Speaker 1: I bought them for wait, hold on which one did
[22:14] Speaker 1: they take the one with the colored teeth?
[22:15] Speaker 2: No, they took the gray like wooly looking one. Oh,
[22:20] Speaker 2: the shittiest one.
[22:21] Speaker 3: Not only that that's gone, there's about forty bucks in
[22:25] Speaker 3: cash still there.
[22:27] Speaker 2: There's yeah, like there was more. I feel like they
[22:33] Speaker 2: left money for me.
[22:34] Speaker 1: Maybe it was kids. And they had the other la
[22:36] Speaker 1: boobos no because we asked her.
[22:39] Speaker 2: And she was like, no, I didn't do it, and
[22:40] Speaker 2: I was she probably I go out to the car.
[22:43] Speaker 1: And take a little booboo.
[22:45] Speaker 2: That's all I needed to hear. But I was like,
[22:48] Speaker 2: I don't.
[22:48] Speaker 3: It was the weirdest robbery I've ever been a part of.
[22:51] Speaker 3: I guess who the fuck just gets me from one
[22:53] Speaker 3: lab boo boo and.
[22:54] Speaker 1: You're not even a good one the color. Don't know
[22:57] Speaker 1: if I had that looks like six nine.
[22:59] Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I still have that like that one, that's
[23:01] Speaker 3: the one that's hanging right now. But I will say
[23:03] Speaker 3: I don't know if I had money in the car previously,
[23:07] Speaker 3: or if they stole a La Boo boo and gave
[23:09] Speaker 3: me forty bucks.
[23:12] Speaker 2: It's the weirdest thing. I don't know.
[23:14] Speaker 1: I don't know if it was a robbery or a transaction.
[23:16] Speaker 2: With all I know, it was without my consent. So
[23:19] Speaker 2: I'm pretty I'm I don't know what's going on, or Eve's.
[23:23] Speaker 1: Gonna find the litle booboo somewhere some Okay, So this
[23:29] Speaker 1: headline dropped vpr alum Jack's Taylor Cosey's up to his
[23:33] Speaker 1: and ex Brittany's publicist. If you guys remember, there was
[23:37] Speaker 1: a rumor like two two and a half years ago
[23:39] Speaker 1: that Jack's and this other person name's Lorie I were
[23:47] Speaker 1: hooking up, and I you know, no one thought anything
[23:51] Speaker 1: of it moved on. This came out yesterday. I'm not
[23:55] Speaker 1: going to share with you guys the details of what
[23:59] Speaker 1: went on. Obviously, Brittany is one of my dearest friends,
[24:02] Speaker 1: and I want her to talk about it. All I'll
[24:04] Speaker 1: say is these are two bottom feeders. I'm absolutely disgusted.
[24:12] Speaker 1: I cannot believe that people move this way in life.
[24:20] Speaker 1: And I felt the need to text Brittany and say
[24:25] Speaker 1: I was with her all day but last night I
[24:28] Speaker 1: was like, Hey, I got invited to Vegas for less
[24:32] Speaker 1: than twenty four hours tomorrow and if you would like
[24:35] Speaker 1: to come, I would like to get you out of
[24:38] Speaker 1: Los Angeles and away from all the shit, So let
[24:42] Speaker 1: me know if you're down. And she texts back and said,
[24:44] Speaker 1: I think that would be really good for me. I
[24:46] Speaker 1: was like, oh shit, we're doing baby.
[24:52] Speaker 4: We're gonna leave tonight, be back tomorrow tomorrow by one.
[24:56] Speaker 2: Guys we're living. Yeah, I'll take the kids. Yeah, I
[25:00] Speaker 2: I called her.
[25:00] Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, I'm on jet Suites. Yeah, you
[25:05] Speaker 1: guys all know I've booked two people on jet.
[25:09] Speaker 2: Suite assistant what assistant?
[25:12] Speaker 4: Yeah?
[25:12] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[25:13] Speaker 1: And when I tell you and I booked the hotel
[25:16] Speaker 1: all by myself, and I woke up three times last
[25:20] Speaker 1: night to go into my emails to make sure that
[25:22] Speaker 1: I booked us for the right city. I was like,
[25:24] Speaker 1: didn't stay Las Vegas?
[25:26] Speaker 2: Does anybody else two show? I do that too, I
[25:29] Speaker 2: will book it and I'll go. Did I even do
[25:30] Speaker 2: the right dates?
[25:32] Speaker 1: June?
[25:32] Speaker 2: June? I have to go back in the calendar and
[25:34] Speaker 2: then I'm like.
[25:35] Speaker 1: It shows that we're landing back home on the fifteenth.
[25:38] Speaker 1: But we're not leaving tonight, right, we can leave tonight.
[25:40] Speaker 1: It's three in the morning, okay tomorrow, Yeah that is right.
[25:42] Speaker 1: Wait is that the fourteenth?
[25:43] Speaker 3: Yeah?
[25:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, we're good. And then I was like, no,
[25:45] Speaker 1: I'm still not but I did it.
[25:48] Speaker 2: I did it.
[25:48] Speaker 1: Mom watched me. I did learn a lot with that,
[25:50] Speaker 1: and now I know take the initiative. So that's what
[25:53] Speaker 1: I'm doing with Brittany. I can't wait to tell you
[25:55] Speaker 1: guys all about it. We're going to have the time
[25:57] Speaker 1: of our lives. Let's go into some pop culture. But
[26:00] Speaker 1: first I want to talk about this trend on TikTok
[26:03] Speaker 1: that Easton showed me, and I was like, it sounds
[26:05] Speaker 1: so stupid when I tell you, I sat there for
[26:07] Speaker 1: probably ten to fifteen minutes watching boyfriends and girlfriends or
[26:13] Speaker 1: husbands and wives eating at the same pace as their
[26:15] Speaker 1: significant other.
[26:17] Speaker 2: So fun.
[26:17] Speaker 1: I was like, this is crazy, this is like it was.
[26:20] Speaker 1: It's the greatest trend I've ever seen.
[26:23] Speaker 3: And what's so great is it's great man like the
[26:26] Speaker 3: woman following the man or the man following the woman.
[26:29] Speaker 1: I eat like a man. The valley has shown that.
[26:31] Speaker 1: I'm like, wow, you guys, did me really really dirty.
[26:35] Speaker 1: I'm never eating on camera again.
[26:38] Speaker 2: Oh, I just keep it eating.
[26:39] Speaker 1: I got like ribs in my mouth. I'm chewing like
[26:42] Speaker 1: I've never eaten anything in my life.
[26:44] Speaker 2: You look like situation.
[26:46] Speaker 1: Yeah, I am hungry all the time. And then I
[26:49] Speaker 1: forget to eat. And then we get a call time
[26:51] Speaker 1: and it's at a restaurant. I'm like, whoo, I can
[26:53] Speaker 1: eat you, I can finally eat. What were we talking about? Oh,
[26:56] Speaker 1: thank you for sending me the thank you for making
[26:58] Speaker 1: me sit down and watch that trend, because oh yeah
[27:00] Speaker 1: it is.
[27:00] Speaker 3: It is.
[27:01] Speaker 1: If you guys haven't tried.
[27:02] Speaker 3: It, well, here's the thing. Law always is like, you're
[27:05] Speaker 3: just on your phone, And here's the thing. Sometimes I am,
[27:08] Speaker 3: but sometimes i'm not. And when I tell you, I
[27:11] Speaker 3: am just roped up in some stupid trend that I
[27:14] Speaker 3: just watch for twenty minutes. And it's the same video
[27:16] Speaker 3: of different people.
[27:17] Speaker 1: The same laugh that you guys hear on the podcast.
[27:19] Speaker 1: I'm like, what the fuck would be that funny? So
[27:21] Speaker 1: then he shows me this one. Do you like the
[27:24] Speaker 1: men eating at the same pace as the woman or
[27:26] Speaker 1: the other way?
[27:27] Speaker 3: Honestly, I like them both the same because it's like
[27:29] Speaker 3: the woman trying to keep up with this man eating
[27:32] Speaker 3: a sandwich in three bites, which I don't know how
[27:35] Speaker 3: they're doing it. But then I love the woman eating
[27:37] Speaker 3: because she like makes it slow, will toss it, she'll
[27:40] Speaker 3: like get the pieces.
[27:41] Speaker 1: And you have to do exactly what your partner is doing.
[27:43] Speaker 3: So like the guy is like wanting to eat, and
[27:46] Speaker 3: like she'll eat like one chip and then she'll like
[27:48] Speaker 3: watch her TV and take a sip.
[27:49] Speaker 1: And the guy's like what do the one girl who
[27:51] Speaker 1: was like he still hasn't drinking a drink water?
[27:54] Speaker 2: Hey, do you need some water?
[27:55] Speaker 1: You drink some water. It's so good. This one's sad.
[28:03] Speaker 1: Grocery store Joe, who you guys know from like the
[28:07] Speaker 1: Bachelor Nation, he did the prenuvo scan that you and
[28:10] Speaker 1: I did, mom, and they found a blueberry sized lesion
[28:14] Speaker 1: in his scan and it appeared to be an early
[28:16] Speaker 1: stage cancerous brain tumor.
[28:20] Speaker 2: And now he's caught in time.
[28:21] Speaker 1: Yeah, he has to undergo surgery to remove it, and
[28:24] Speaker 1: so like prenuvo quite literally saved him.
[28:27] Speaker 2: Right, you know, I hope everything in that surgery goes well.
[28:31] Speaker 1: Okay, I'm going to say something that people will probably
[28:33] Speaker 1: get mad at me about but I'm okay with it.
[28:37] Speaker 1: I understand that prenuvo is expensive. It's a couple thousand dollars, okay,
[28:44] Speaker 1: But it's like quite literally saving people's lives. And we've
[28:48] Speaker 1: all seen how insurance they can be extremely difficult. And
[28:55] Speaker 1: let's just say you have something where you have to
[28:59] Speaker 1: be treated for it. There are some people who their
[29:02] Speaker 1: medical bills are skyrocketing into the millions of dollar range.
[29:07] Speaker 1: I highly recommend if you can put aside some money
[29:13] Speaker 1: each paycheck and save up for a full body MRI,
[29:19] Speaker 1: that it is worth it. Like, I know that that
[29:23] Speaker 1: is expensive, and I get it. It is really hard
[29:25] Speaker 1: to make a paycheck, but you don't get to go
[29:27] Speaker 1: and get an MRI unless there is a primary doctor
[29:31] Speaker 1: who will like write you the request form.
[29:35] Speaker 2: I would like to do some research to see if
[29:37] Speaker 2: they have payment plans for that, because that should be
[29:42] Speaker 2: something that they offer with it being such an amazing
[29:45] Speaker 2: thing to do.
[29:46] Speaker 1: And the whole reason I contacted Prenuvo back in September
[29:50] Speaker 1: was because I was feeling like I was getting headaches
[29:54] Speaker 1: and I felt like tension in my forehead. I was like,
[29:57] Speaker 1: I really want to know, like what's going on, and
[30:00] Speaker 1: and you know. My results came back and it was
[30:02] Speaker 1: very positive, except my posture is so messed up that
[30:05] Speaker 1: I could qualify for twelve sessions of PET covered by insurance.
[30:09] Speaker 1: Do you think I ever did that? No, but I
[30:11] Speaker 1: do need to do that. I have a primary who
[30:13] Speaker 1: said I will, I will definitely look at your scan
[30:17] Speaker 1: and send you to a physical therapist. Anyway, there's that.
[30:20] Speaker 1: It's quite literally saving people's lives. I want to do
[30:34] Speaker 1: an egg and Relief of the week Easton, What is
[30:37] Speaker 1: your ache of the week?
[30:39] Speaker 2: My ache of the week.
[30:41] Speaker 1: Honestly in the notes that your your ache is that
[30:43] Speaker 1: your la boo boo?
[30:44] Speaker 3: That is it. I was going to say my ache
[30:47] Speaker 3: is the la boo boo, but not even the laboo boo.
[30:51] Speaker 3: Just that was somebody in my fucking car. I feel
[30:57] Speaker 3: like I gues something. Yes, it's not about the laboo boos.
[31:01] Speaker 3: I do not care if the labuo boos get stolen.
[31:03] Speaker 3: I don't want somebody's ass in my seat. All there's
[31:09] Speaker 3: my ache. Okay, okay, so you're little, so that's her
[31:15] Speaker 3: age your back. You're pussy in your crack ambity. I
[31:21] Speaker 3: fucking hated that, mom my bed my man crack I'm
[31:32] Speaker 3: very happy. If my mom was getting into the car
[31:35] Speaker 3: by herself listening to that song, we would have to
[31:38] Speaker 3: sit down and have a.
[31:39] Speaker 1: Conversation as if she hasn't ever heard me talk like this.
[31:45] Speaker 1: You know how I talk. It's a joke. I'm trying
[31:48] Speaker 1: to make light of it. Your ache sore, your literal aches, Okay,
[31:51] Speaker 1: My ache is that I feel like my body is
[31:54] Speaker 1: also falling apart. Last night, I felt like my the
[31:59] Speaker 1: corner of my ho nail was like digging into my skin.
[32:02] Speaker 1: So I get out and my I have a horizontal
[32:05] Speaker 1: crack near my cuticle and my whole nail is completely
[32:08] Speaker 1: lifted up. So now I'm going to DM the girl
[32:12] Speaker 1: who does these nails, because remember every time, I like,
[32:15] Speaker 1: it's taking a long time, and she always tells me
[32:18] Speaker 1: like la la, I have to like preserve the quality
[32:20] Speaker 1: of your actual nail, So it's gonna take a while.
[32:23] Speaker 2: Welcome for fun.
[32:23] Speaker 1: Now I'm looking at my toes and I'm like, it's
[32:25] Speaker 1: because my actual nail they're just like drilling into it,
[32:28] Speaker 1: so it's making them weak. I'm gonna DM that girl,
[32:30] Speaker 1: and I'm gonna be like, do you make house calls
[32:32] Speaker 1: if you don't can I just DM you and you
[32:33] Speaker 1: put me on the schedule for both hands and feet,
[32:36] Speaker 1: and I guess I'm gonna spend the day with your babe.
[32:40] Speaker 1: It's like two and a half hours just for my hands.
[32:44] Speaker 1: The one time I never wear heels, I never go anywhere,
[32:48] Speaker 1: and now I've got a busted ass toe that really hurts. Yeah,
[32:54] Speaker 1: so what's your relief.
[32:55] Speaker 2: Let's let's make it quick softball third place? Bang?
[33:00] Speaker 1: Bang? What's your relief? Mom? Excellent? I'll take it.
[33:07] Speaker 2: Us if anybody needs to hear that.
[33:10] Speaker 1: My relief was the weekend that I had with my kids.
[33:13] Speaker 1: I really highly enjoyed it. Missed you, guys, but it
[33:16] Speaker 1: was great anyway. Thank you guys so much for listening
