[0:00] Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous, It's Lala Kent. Welcome to untraditionally, Lala, Hello, gorgeous,
[0:08] Speaker 1: it is Laala Kent. Welcome back to untraditionally Lala Hi
[0:12] Speaker 1: t te oh, hey, hey, hey, oh what a fucking week.
[0:19] Speaker 1: Can I just tell you be honest? Is this our
[0:23] Speaker 1: mom forever? Do you think I.
[0:25] Speaker 2: Try not to think that far in advance.
[0:27] Speaker 1: How would that be?
[0:29] Speaker 2: I just am today because if I do think that way,
[0:34] Speaker 2: like it scares me, Like it really does scare me.
[0:37] Speaker 1: It does.
[0:37] Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a lot. I hope it's not my mom forever.
[0:40] Speaker 2: Her hip is good though, it's just now trying to
[0:43] Speaker 2: get everything else in order. Yeah, and we're coming. We're
[0:47] Speaker 2: not even a month out of the hip, so like
[0:49] Speaker 2: that's the other thing, like three months they were saying
[0:51] Speaker 2: it takes, but I would like her to start doing
[0:55] Speaker 2: upper body movement.
[0:58] Speaker 1: Yeah, she came, so my mom. As you guys know,
[1:01] Speaker 1: how her hip replaced, which we've heard is like a
[1:05] Speaker 1: life altering surgery in the best way. But since then,
[1:11] Speaker 1: you know, she has sleep apnea, so she she has
[1:15] Speaker 1: to have like the masks.
[1:16] Speaker 2: Let me I want to ask fellow our fellow pods,
[1:22] Speaker 2: if you or somebody has sleep apnea. Yeah, our mother
[1:26] Speaker 2: keeps taking her mask off in the middle of the night,
[1:29] Speaker 2: and she says she's like claustrophobic little things. So my
[1:33] Speaker 2: question is, do you guys have any tips, tips or
[1:37] Speaker 2: tricks of keeping it on or making it so you
[1:41] Speaker 2: can sleep or whatnot, because that I think would be
[1:44] Speaker 2: the best thing for mom is to try to keep
[1:46] Speaker 2: that mask on all Yeah.
[1:47] Speaker 1: And she's talking about like her heart racing and she
[1:50] Speaker 1: feels like she wants to crawl out of her own skin,
[1:51] Speaker 1: and I'm like, well, that's anxiety. So they put her
[1:53] Speaker 1: on anxiety mends, which I think are having the opposite
[1:56] Speaker 1: effect on her and like actually making the anxiety worse.
[2:00] Speaker 1: She also has lost so much weight that it makes
[2:02] Speaker 1: me nervous. She's not looking like my mother. She's not
[2:08] Speaker 1: like skin and bone.
[2:09] Speaker 2: No, she's just not Mom. Yeah. I like my mom
[2:14] Speaker 2: with some meat on her. I like giving her a
[2:15] Speaker 2: big old bear hug and.
[2:17] Speaker 1: Yeah, and she's just not there. So I'm trying not
[2:20] Speaker 1: to think about it either. But when she came up
[2:21] Speaker 1: last night rummaging through the medicine cabinet because she's like,
[2:24] Speaker 1: I just can't sleep, and I feel like I want
[2:25] Speaker 1: to crawl out of my own skin. I laid down
[2:28] Speaker 1: and had a moment of like the decline with Dad
[2:32] Speaker 1: and how quickly that happened.
[2:34] Speaker 2: Well, And I did point that out to her because
[2:37] Speaker 2: like I was around, I saw Dad every day, you know,
[2:41] Speaker 2: I like I was like, and that's where it is
[2:43] Speaker 2: right now. It is like, I need to get you
[2:47] Speaker 2: a bit of help because what I am witnessing I
[2:49] Speaker 2: have witnessed, and what I witnessed with him, it took him. Yeah,
[2:54] Speaker 2: So I do not want that for Mom. And like
[2:56] Speaker 2: the other thing is that she hates to do is exercising.
[2:59] Speaker 2: But the one thing that I have found that I
[3:02] Speaker 2: do is going on runs, little band workouts. And if
[3:06] Speaker 2: I don't do that, I can tell my sleep is off,
[3:08] Speaker 2: my body is not. It's restless.
[3:11] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[3:11] Speaker 2: So I'm hoping that Mom can feel good enough to
[3:14] Speaker 2: maybe get her body moving inactive to the point where
[3:17] Speaker 2: she goes to sleep her body and mind are both tired. Yeah,
[3:22] Speaker 2: because right now I just think it's her mind and
[3:24] Speaker 2: not her body and that's where she's and.
[3:27] Speaker 1: I think we have to get some nutrients. Yeah, I mean,
[3:31] Speaker 1: she eats like she's a toddler. She's like I I
[3:34] Speaker 1: just want the bread. I don't want to eat I
[3:37] Speaker 1: don't really like that kind of fruit.
[3:39] Speaker 2: I don't want to not.
[3:40] Speaker 1: Get the veggies. I just want rice. I'm like, we
[3:42] Speaker 1: have to have something.
[3:44] Speaker 2: Last night she law is like, I'm going to make
[3:47] Speaker 2: you meatballs, and she goes just one, just one meatball.
[3:53] Speaker 2: It's like, well, maybe that's why you're not challenging. You
[3:55] Speaker 2: have to eat it well.
[3:56] Speaker 1: And I remember going through like hard times in my
[3:59] Speaker 1: life and at night I would wake up and I
[4:02] Speaker 1: would have so I was so anxious that my stomach
[4:05] Speaker 1: was eating itself and I wanted to crawl out of
[4:06] Speaker 1: my own body. And it's like, oh, I have like
[4:08] Speaker 1: zero nutrition in my body. So last night I was
[4:11] Speaker 1: spiraling in my mind and I had to actively be like, Lauren,
[4:15] Speaker 1: you cannot go to a grocery store right now because
[4:17] Speaker 1: it's four in the fucking morning, and you'll deal with
[4:20] Speaker 1: it tomorrow. Stop thinking about this and go to sleep.
[4:24] Speaker 1: Because I just kept looping, looping. She gotta have veggies,
[4:28] Speaker 1: she gotta have veggies. I gotta wake her up right now.
[4:29] Speaker 1: We gotta ge veggies in her. We gotta get vegies
[4:31] Speaker 1: in her. I was like, fucking tweaking out. So this morning,
[4:34] Speaker 1: I wake up and I check on her to make
[4:36] Speaker 1: sure she's not fucking dead, because I was tweaking about
[4:39] Speaker 1: that too, And I ordered her a smoothie from Creation
[4:44] Speaker 1: on Postmates, and it was a bit It had a
[4:47] Speaker 1: banana in it, and I was like, I don't even
[4:48] Speaker 1: give a fuck. I'm not taking the banana out. She's
[4:50] Speaker 1: gonna have to fucking suck it up.
[4:53] Speaker 2: My mother has lied to us her whole.
[4:55] Speaker 1: Life about being allergic to bananas. She's not allergic, she
[4:57] Speaker 1: just doesn't like them, along with every other thing that
[4:59] Speaker 1: you could possibly imagine. I keep the banana in, I
[5:03] Speaker 1: add spinach. I go to check out. The large smoothie
[5:06] Speaker 1: cost me just for I was like.
[5:14] Speaker 2: My mother's health.
[5:15] Speaker 1: So I clicked I double clack, double click clack, be
[5:19] Speaker 1: side buttons, put it on the amex.
[5:22] Speaker 2: Put it on credit because that's what we'll need, and
[5:27] Speaker 2: drinking drinky.
[5:27] Speaker 1: She she went. Now she's taking a bath, and I'm
[5:31] Speaker 1: just feeling a little tapped out because there's a lot
[5:33] Speaker 1: of humans that need taking taken care of at this house. Anyway,
[5:36] Speaker 1: moving on, last week, you guys, I went to New
[5:40] Speaker 1: York City for those of you who know me know
[5:43] Speaker 1: that that city gives me so much anxiety. Once I'm there,
[5:48] Speaker 1: like I'm a little bit fine, finer than the thought
[5:50] Speaker 1: of going, but also just the thought of like getting
[5:53] Speaker 1: on a plane to travel there. And I'm very particular.
[5:56] Speaker 1: I'm like, put me on a morning flight so that
[5:59] Speaker 1: I land in the evening. I can go grab something
[6:02] Speaker 1: to eat, and then I can go into the room
[6:03] Speaker 1: and get a good night's sleep. I'm adamant, no fucking
[6:07] Speaker 1: red eyes. So flight information comes in. I get to
[6:10] Speaker 1: the airport, it's seven thirty. My flight doesn't even leave
[6:13] Speaker 1: until ten. Don't know why I needed to be there
[6:17] Speaker 1: with that early, but just to make my s say
[6:20] Speaker 1: you never you never know what la. So I go
[6:24] Speaker 1: to the lounge for Delta, and she like looks at
[6:26] Speaker 1: my car and she's like, oh, you qualify for the
[6:29] Speaker 1: better lounge. And I was like, bet, I like that better.
[6:33] Speaker 2: You are better than me, Because if she would have
[6:34] Speaker 2: been like, there's a better lounge for you, I'd be like, well,
[6:37] Speaker 2: I'm here, so have a good shit.
[6:38] Speaker 1: It's just down the way.
[6:39] Speaker 2: I'll walk you.
[6:39] Speaker 3: I was like, great, perfect a handler more walking now and.
[6:44] Speaker 1: It's closer to your gate.
[6:45] Speaker 2: I was done.
[6:47] Speaker 1: I'm at the better lounge closer to the gate, and
[6:49] Speaker 1: you're walking me there. So I get to this better
[6:52] Speaker 1: lounge and I'm kicking it. Text comes through and it's
[6:55] Speaker 1: like fifty five minute delay and I'm like fifty five minutes,
[6:58] Speaker 1: all right, whatever, that's nothing. So I go have a
[7:00] Speaker 1: second breakfast at this lounge and then I get hit
[7:04] Speaker 1: with the second text and they say that now the
[7:07] Speaker 1: flight is delayed four hours, fifty five minutes or three
[7:10] Speaker 1: hours and fit something along those lines. So I'm like,
[7:13] Speaker 1: well that's a blur. So around two o'clock I head
[7:17] Speaker 1: down to ten eleven, twelve one two. That's making sure there.
[7:23] Speaker 1: Two o'clock I head down for my boarding time. I'm
[7:26] Speaker 1: in line. All of the sudden they close the door.
[7:30] Speaker 1: We're all hit with the text that the flight has
[7:32] Speaker 1: now been fully canceled. I was like, I go to
[7:37] Speaker 1: the gate person and I was like, what do we
[7:39] Speaker 1: do about our bags? And he literally gets on his
[7:42] Speaker 1: intercom because there's a line, and he's like, I cannot
[7:44] Speaker 1: help you with this flight.
[7:46] Speaker 2: I know nothing. Was my kind of guy.
[7:50] Speaker 1: Too, but also just like direct me towards the bags
[7:54] Speaker 1: and he was like, you need to go to baggage claim.
[7:55] Speaker 1: So I'm like hauling ass to baggage claim. I was like, hey,
[7:59] Speaker 1: my bag was on this flight. Here's a little ticket.
[8:02] Speaker 1: She scans it. She goes, oh, this is on the
[8:04] Speaker 1: cancel flight. We have all of you on a flight
[8:06] Speaker 1: tomorrow morning. And everyone that's there trying to get their
[8:09] Speaker 1: backs are like, wait, we have a full day tomorrow.
[8:11] Speaker 1: I've got all these meetings. I was like, yeah, we
[8:13] Speaker 1: all have to work all day tomorrow, so we're going
[8:15] Speaker 1: to be at our bag.
[8:16] Speaker 3: Yeah, that's exactly we got this flight to get there
[8:18] Speaker 3: by tomorrow.
[8:20] Speaker 2: Yes, so getting there tomorrow not gonna work.
[8:23] Speaker 1: It'll not work. So she was like, oh, so then
[8:27] Speaker 1: what are you gonna do. I go, well, now I
[8:28] Speaker 1: have to book a flight through a different airline because
[8:31] Speaker 1: you guys don't have anything that's flying out by the
[8:35] Speaker 1: time I need to get into New York. And she
[8:36] Speaker 1: was like, okay, let me make a phone call. Makes
[8:38] Speaker 1: a phone call. She's like, all right, they have your
[8:41] Speaker 1: bag and it will be off the plane from anywhere
[8:45] Speaker 1: between like thirty minutes, but it could take like five hours.
[8:49] Speaker 1: I'm like, that is the largest chunk of time I've
[8:52] Speaker 1: ever heard.
[8:52] Speaker 4: Thirty minutes It's like, first of all, it's going from
[8:54] Speaker 4: the plane to the tarmac, are you just taking it?
[8:57] Speaker 2: Get around?
[8:58] Speaker 1: Whenever they could get around to it, I guess get.
[9:00] Speaker 2: Around to it. You'd think they'd want the I call Easton.
[9:04] Speaker 1: Because I cannot walk to the uber section of Lax.
[9:07] Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm gonna need someone to pick me up
[9:09] Speaker 1: where I'm.
[9:09] Speaker 2: At and I just had gotten down with Lisa's hip appointment.
[9:13] Speaker 1: Soldier, You're the fucking best. You're the fucking best, Easton. Okay,
[9:17] Speaker 1: I'm sorry for everything I said here yesterday.
[9:19] Speaker 2: Did you better be? I like how I stood ground?
[9:22] Speaker 1: I didn't know. I didn't I needed you to. I
[9:24] Speaker 1: just spoke about anger. That podcast comes out with Amber soon. No,
[9:29] Speaker 1: I didn't like it. Actually, I needed you to disengage
[9:31] Speaker 1: so that I could meet you.
[9:33] Speaker 2: Well, you have you heightened it?
[9:36] Speaker 4: I met the wola from vander pump On said level.
[9:42] Speaker 1: I didn't like it at all. Anyway, not the point,
[9:44] Speaker 1: let's not rehash. I just want to say sorry that
[9:47] Speaker 1: I did that yesterday.
[9:48] Speaker 2: I apologize as well.
[9:50] Speaker 1: Anyway, Easton comes picks me up, and right as he's like, hey,
[9:54] Speaker 1: I'm super close, my bag comes out. My bag comes out.
[9:58] Speaker 1: It is like, oh my calls me.
[10:00] Speaker 2: He goes, Oh my god, my back just got here.
[10:02] Speaker 1: So exactly it's here.
[10:04] Speaker 2: You would have thought that the plane was actually going
[10:05] Speaker 2: to take off. She was like, actually the plane. That's
[10:07] Speaker 2: how excited.
[10:08] Speaker 1: Because it's the little things in life.
[10:12] Speaker 2: Less out of control.
[10:14] Speaker 1: I was like, at least my bag is with me.
[10:16] Speaker 1: Could you imagine?
[10:17] Speaker 2: No, I've done?
[10:18] Speaker 1: Are you trying to figure that shit out?
[10:22] Speaker 2: No? There's been times where I would have been in.
[10:23] Speaker 1: New York and my bag would have been at JFK
[10:26] Speaker 1: the next day too late.
[10:28] Speaker 2: What would I have done?
[10:29] Speaker 1: What would I have done? My whole face was in
[10:31] Speaker 1: there anyway. Oh no, I got my bag and that
[10:35] Speaker 1: then my flight was at eleven PM. I had to
[10:38] Speaker 1: take the Red Eye. I landed at like, got to
[10:41] Speaker 1: the airport or the hotel at like nine thirty, hit
[10:45] Speaker 1: the ground fucking running by the time I got back.
[10:49] Speaker 1: You guys La. When I would fly from Utah to La,
[10:52] Speaker 1: I used to tweak out because I'm like, this is
[10:55] Speaker 1: the most chaotic city I've ever been in. I got
[10:57] Speaker 1: to get back to Utah. Now when I land in
[10:59] Speaker 1: LA from New York or any other place, I'm like,
[11:03] Speaker 1: and as much as like we talk about how this
[11:06] Speaker 1: city it can be like overwhelming and it's like a
[11:09] Speaker 1: rat race. It's home, and I was so happy to
[11:12] Speaker 1: land back here and just like feel normal and get
[11:17] Speaker 1: a good night's sleep and see my kids. And I've
[11:20] Speaker 1: been having such bad mom guilt. But anyway, the whole reason,
[11:26] Speaker 1: so that was the plane trip. I totally forgot the
[11:28] Speaker 1: whole reason I went to. The trip was fucking exhausting.
[11:31] Speaker 1: I forgot the whole reason why I even went out there.
[11:33] Speaker 1: I went out to do watch Robins Live, and I
[11:38] Speaker 1: was the last time I did watch What Happens. I
[11:40] Speaker 1: was two months postpartum and I did it with Durrey Kemsley.
[11:44] Speaker 1: And I was actually there promoting the Travis Kelcey show
[11:48] Speaker 1: that I had done while very pregnant. And so Andy
[11:52] Speaker 1: comes in and he's like, I feel like I have
[11:53] Speaker 1: not seen you for so long, and I told him
[11:55] Speaker 1: I was like, I haven't been here since. I mean,
[11:57] Speaker 1: my child's going to be two and like handful of
[11:59] Speaker 1: myne Anyway, he was wonderful. I was told that I
[12:04] Speaker 1: was supposed to do watch What Happens with Kesha. That
[12:07] Speaker 1: was very excited. I want to tell you guys. This
[12:10] Speaker 1: interaction the only interaction I've ever had with Kesha. It's
[12:13] Speaker 1: me Brittany, Me, Brittany and Janet and we're leaving Jet
[12:18] Speaker 1: Sweet X, headed back to LA from super Bowl. Kesha
[12:23] Speaker 1: comes off the plane. We're waiting to get on our plane.
[12:28] Speaker 1: She has her glasses on tonight time. She's fucking cool
[12:30] Speaker 1: like that, takes them off yours. Oh my god, you
[12:33] Speaker 1: guys are beautiful. I'm obsessed with you guys, puts a
[12:37] Speaker 1: glasses back on, walks out to her.
[12:38] Speaker 2: Car, center piece. I love her, I was like.
[12:42] Speaker 1: What what?
[12:44] Speaker 2: So? I became a fan when she re recorded her
[12:47] Speaker 2: song I got in the morning.
[12:50] Speaker 1: Saying fuck Peete, fuck with you hard. Let me tell
[12:55] Speaker 1: you when I became the biggest fan is when her
[12:58] Speaker 1: song single handedly got me through my leaving of he
[13:05] Speaker 1: whose name we shall not mention and hauling ass on
[13:10] Speaker 1: fucking mule holland blasting that song movie my shit out house.
[13:16] Speaker 1: That's when I was like, I'm a Kasha fan. That song. Oh,
[13:19] Speaker 1: She's like, I'm proud of who I am. Oh, she's
[13:23] Speaker 1: so fucking good. Anyway, she ends up not being able
[13:27] Speaker 1: to make it because, as everyone knows, everyone's falling sick
[13:31] Speaker 1: right now, and she like wasn't feeling very good, so
[13:34] Speaker 1: she doesn't make it. They have Nick Lachet and my inner.
[13:37] Speaker 1: I'll be honest, My my grown ass woman started freaking
[13:40] Speaker 1: because I love ninety eight degrees and I'm gonna let
[13:42] Speaker 1: you in on a little secret. My most favorite ninety
[13:44] Speaker 1: eight degrees song is the theme song on Mulan featuring
[13:48] Speaker 1: Stevie Wonder, True to your Heart. It is the greatest
[13:52] Speaker 1: Me and ocean in the car on the way to Disney.
[13:54] Speaker 1: We are up in that bitch, just the fucking rockin'
[13:58] Speaker 1: ready to take Disney bybe balls. Okay, so I did
[14:03] Speaker 1: it with him. It was fucking awesome. The next day,
[14:07] Speaker 1: I have a full day of press that's supposed to
[14:09] Speaker 1: start at like nine am. I keep clicking snooze because
[14:12] Speaker 1: I am in bad shape, and all I can think
[14:14] Speaker 1: about is that whatever Kesha may or may not have
[14:17] Speaker 1: been feeling had teleported itself to me in New York.
[14:20] Speaker 1: And I was like, every time I stood up, you guys,
[14:23] Speaker 1: I felt like I was going to pass out. I
[14:25] Speaker 1: was sweating, I felt like I was gonna throw up.
[14:29] Speaker 1: I was so nauseous. I ended up canceling all of press.
[14:32] Speaker 1: I could not even I could not even get myself
[14:35] Speaker 1: on my feet. And I had to make a flight
[14:38] Speaker 1: that night, and I'm like, I'll be damned if I'm
[14:39] Speaker 1: stuck here one more night. I gotta get out, Love
[14:42] Speaker 1: you New York, got to get back to the West Coast.
[14:45] Speaker 1: So that was my Watch What Happens Live experience. I
[14:48] Speaker 1: had a wonderful time. Lena, who does my hair, is
[14:52] Speaker 1: the one who dressed me. Because I just have been
[14:56] Speaker 1: so clocked out recently. I was like, hey, babe, can
[14:58] Speaker 1: you please bring off for me? And I had tried
[15:01] Speaker 1: on that same jumpsuit to wear to Bravocon and I
[15:06] Speaker 1: was like, it's so cute, but like, it's not really
[15:08] Speaker 1: the vibe I'm going for. Let's save it for Watch
[15:11] Speaker 1: What Happens. The way that it fit me at Bravocon
[15:14] Speaker 1: compared to the way it fit me after heartbreak and
[15:16] Speaker 1: stress not a standing up look for me in that moment.
[15:21] Speaker 1: I'd lost a little bit of weight. I wasn't quite
[15:24] Speaker 1: filling it out properly, but you know what, sitting it
[15:26] Speaker 1: looked great. I felt like I felt like Jennifer Tilly
[15:30] Speaker 1: when she was like, it's really more of a standing
[15:32] Speaker 1: up dress. Not a sitting because the eye and the
[15:35] Speaker 1: lip went wonky on her reunion. Look when she sat,
[15:38] Speaker 1: Mine was the opposite. When I sat great, standing up
[15:41] Speaker 1: not so much. So I get home and the next day, Friday,
[15:47] Speaker 1: what'd you guys do while I was gone? Sorry, I
[15:49] Speaker 1: feel like I'm just on it.
[15:50] Speaker 2: No, what my you know what I've been up to.
[15:53] Speaker 2: I've been doing those two little quietly.
[15:58] Speaker 1: Oh you've been doing business. You've been standing on business?
[16:00] Speaker 2: Yeah, just working on that business. There's yeah, I was
[16:04] Speaker 2: just working on the computer. I've got two little things
[16:06] Speaker 2: that have three things I'm working on.
[16:19] Speaker 1: How were the kids while I was gone?
[16:21] Speaker 2: Great?
[16:22] Speaker 1: Did they allow you to get things done? I mean
[16:24] Speaker 1: Ocean at school, I wasn't gone that long. I was
[16:26] Speaker 1: done less than forty eight hours.
[16:27] Speaker 2: No, I mean there's simple, They're easy and luckily we
[16:30] Speaker 2: have Cynthia like throughout the day. So like while they
[16:33] Speaker 2: were at school, I got a whole bunch of work done.
[16:35] Speaker 2: When they'd get home, we would hang out, eat, play games, color,
[16:40] Speaker 2: we'd go outside and play on the basketball court, swam.
[16:43] Speaker 2: We just did a whole bunch of stuff. And then
[16:45] Speaker 2: when the little one went down, Sosa like Ocean's so easy.
[16:48] Speaker 2: She'd just like get in her bed, or she would
[16:50] Speaker 2: sit on the couch. We watched Shrek. She's really in
[16:53] Speaker 2: was obsessed with Shrek Shrek ever After, which in my opinion, is.
[16:57] Speaker 1: The worst one yea where Shrek Wish is for yeah,
[17:01] Speaker 1: but it's nothing because Rumpell steal skin, steals his old,
[17:05] Speaker 1: his life, and it's I don't love it.
[17:08] Speaker 2: I like one and three.
[17:09] Speaker 1: You watched it? Do you watched it while I was gone?
[17:14] Speaker 2: Well, I've seen it.
[17:15] Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, so let me tell you. I get home,
[17:19] Speaker 1: and Ocean knows that if it's a weekend, she can
[17:22] Speaker 1: sleep in my bed. If it's a weekend weekdays and
[17:24] Speaker 1: there's school, you got to be in your own bed. Anyway,
[17:26] Speaker 1: I told her that I was leaving town and I
[17:28] Speaker 1: would be gone, but by the time, you know, she blinked,
[17:31] Speaker 1: I would be back. And I said, So, I promise
[17:35] Speaker 1: you when I get home Friday night, you and me,
[17:38] Speaker 1: babe on the couch, we're doing a spawn night. We're
[17:40] Speaker 1: gonna have popcorn with Eminem's in it, and we will
[17:44] Speaker 1: watch whatever movie you want. So Friday rolls around and
[17:48] Speaker 1: I have to do, don't have to I get to
[17:51] Speaker 1: I should say this shop today, so it's like a
[17:56] Speaker 1: part of the Today Show with the Rainbow in some capacity,
[18:01] Speaker 1: and they had myself, Brittany, what was it myself, Brittany,
[18:06] Speaker 1: Michelle and Kristin That's sorry, my mind is mushed today.
[18:11] Speaker 1: And it was so much fun. Everyone looked amazing. We
[18:14] Speaker 1: basically just did a panel where we talked about being
[18:17] Speaker 1: moms and what it's like at this stage of life.
[18:20] Speaker 1: You know, Brittany got to speak on having a son
[18:23] Speaker 1: with autism who's five and all of the mountains he's
[18:27] Speaker 1: been moving, Kristin, you know, doing IUI and going through
[18:31] Speaker 1: a fertility journey and getting pregnant in a at an
[18:35] Speaker 1: older quote unquote age. We spoke about mom guilt, which
[18:41] Speaker 1: is what I was really struggling with in that moment
[18:44] Speaker 1: and have continued to struggle with. And I think everyone
[18:47] Speaker 1: can relate except for Michelle. We asked, They asked Michelle
[18:54] Speaker 1: how she manages it. She goes, I don't have mom guilt,
[18:56] Speaker 1: and we all were like, oh what. She was like, No, Like,
[19:01] Speaker 1: I think about going out and doing things and it's
[19:05] Speaker 1: like I have to have my cup full and be
[19:08] Speaker 1: well rested and feel like I'm my own person in
[19:11] Speaker 1: order to show up as a good mom for Isabella,
[19:14] Speaker 1: and keep in mind, they really hit the ground running.
[19:18] Speaker 1: Isabella wakes up at like six am and is ready
[19:21] Speaker 1: for full blown activities from the time they wake up
[19:24] Speaker 1: till the time they go to bed, so she really
[19:26] Speaker 1: does have to practice self care on like a completely
[19:29] Speaker 1: different level. Granted it's fifty to fifty that they have,
[19:33] Speaker 1: but as time goes on, Like I remember at the
[19:35] Speaker 1: beginning of my situation, if something fell on a weekend
[19:41] Speaker 1: that I didn't have ocean, it was not happening. As
[19:45] Speaker 1: time passes you realize that that's that's your hope. But
[19:49] Speaker 1: there are going to be things that you have to do,
[19:51] Speaker 1: whether it's work or a birthday that your friend is
[19:54] Speaker 1: having that falls on a day that you have your kid,
[19:57] Speaker 1: and it's okay to tap and a sitter or a nanny,
[20:01] Speaker 1: you know, like go do your thing. But the fact
[20:05] Speaker 1: that she does not struggle with mom kilts. I was
[20:09] Speaker 1: very impressed. I mean I decided to press it. Yeah,
[20:11] Speaker 1: I decided to go have dinner with them after and
[20:14] Speaker 1: it was like maybe four thirty. I was tweaking out.
[20:18] Speaker 1: I'm like, I promised my kid a movie night and
[20:22] Speaker 1: spawn night and they're like, great, it's four thirty. I'm like,
[20:25] Speaker 1: I know the time. I was like, I feel guilty
[20:29] Speaker 1: that I'm like going out with my friends to an
[20:31] Speaker 1: early early early bird special dinner and like enjoying myself.
[20:36] Speaker 1: Like how weird is that? Like I found guilty. I
[20:38] Speaker 1: kept calling you said, I'm like, are you guys okay?
[20:41] Speaker 1: Is mom okay? Are you guys? Upset? I promise I'm hurrying.
[20:44] Speaker 1: I got home at six, We started the spaw night.
[20:48] Speaker 1: She had the time of her fucking life. I highly
[20:50] Speaker 1: recommend if you have a little girl or a little
[20:52] Speaker 1: boy who wants to do something like that, anytime I
[20:58] Speaker 1: do that with her, something so freaking simple, you guys
[21:01] Speaker 1: sitting on a couch with eye patches on. She saw
[21:04] Speaker 1: that I had put on my doggy pajamas. She ran downstairs,
[21:09] Speaker 1: comes up and has on the same pajamas as I do. No,
[21:12] Speaker 1: she's adorable, fucking adorable. We make the popcorn. She's on
[21:16] Speaker 1: cloud nine. She gets the candy, she puts it in,
[21:20] Speaker 1: We sit down, We watch Shrek four again, and she
[21:25] Speaker 1: looks at me and goes, this is the best night ever.
[21:28] Speaker 1: And I kid you not anytime we do that. She
[21:31] Speaker 1: tells me, it is the best night ever.
[21:33] Speaker 2: No, she loves a good chocolate in the bad.
[21:36] Speaker 1: No, we did on the couch because she was like,
[21:38] Speaker 1: I want to watch on the couch so that if
[21:41] Speaker 1: Easton and GG want we want to watch, we could
[21:44] Speaker 1: joint watch.
[21:45] Speaker 2: We did join in for a.
[21:46] Speaker 1: Bit, and she loved it so much that the next
[21:49] Speaker 1: night we did the exact same thing no Groundhog's Day,
[21:53] Speaker 1: except we were in Spice Girl pajamas. But we did
[21:56] Speaker 1: watch Shrek four.
[21:57] Speaker 2: Isn't that good for you? Though? For time? I am
[22:00] Speaker 2: so worry some You're like living in fifty first day.
[22:02] Speaker 2: It's where time never goes anywhere, right, you would think, Yeah,
[22:06] Speaker 2: you're living the same day every day. It's kind of
[22:08] Speaker 2: like time is in passing.
[22:10] Speaker 1: I woke up this morning. Oh god, I was up
[22:12] Speaker 1: this morning and I was like, oh my gosh, another
[22:15] Speaker 1: day has passed. That means we're closer to the end.
[22:20] Speaker 2: I can start moving my body in motion, stays in
[22:22] Speaker 2: my get fucking dark. I get down, figure it out.
[22:26] Speaker 1: I gotta figure it out, dude. It's like not good anyway.
[22:32] Speaker 1: I saw a note while I've gone and I actually
[22:36] Speaker 1: I didn't think you were going to talk about this
[22:37] Speaker 1: and I'm so happy that you're it is.
[22:39] Speaker 2: So sad, guys.
[22:41] Speaker 1: Should I tee it up?
[22:42] Speaker 2: Or do you want to see?
[22:43] Speaker 4: No?
[22:43] Speaker 2: Tee it up?
[22:44] Speaker 1: So we see that there's like this little baby duck
[22:48] Speaker 1: in our pool and it seems distressed. And then I
[22:52] Speaker 1: hear tweeting in the neighbor's yards, so I yell over.
[22:55] Speaker 1: I'm like, do you guys have baby ducks over there?
[22:56] Speaker 1: And they're like, yeah, they're in the pool. They can't
[22:58] Speaker 1: get out. I'm like same. I text my other neighbor.
[23:00] Speaker 1: I'm like, hey, just so you know, I hear baby
[23:03] Speaker 1: ducks in your backyard. There's one in my yard and
[23:06] Speaker 1: one in my other neighbor's yard, Like, don't let your
[23:08] Speaker 1: dogs out. She's like, cool, have I have two over here? Whatever,
[23:13] Speaker 1: We get our baby duck out to safety, and it
[23:16] Speaker 1: just the moment it gets out.
[23:17] Speaker 2: Guys. We try to party so much effort into getting
[23:20] Speaker 2: this duck out because I was like, maybe he can't
[23:22] Speaker 2: get out of the big lipped pool. So we put
[23:24] Speaker 2: like a little runway so we could get out. I
[23:27] Speaker 2: put like a nut like in the corner if he
[23:29] Speaker 2: felt like coming into it. He swam into the net.
[23:31] Speaker 2: So I was like, oh, okay, So I like, pick
[23:33] Speaker 2: the net up. I gently put it on the side
[23:34] Speaker 2: of the pool. He gets out, looks around, and just
[23:37] Speaker 2: right back into the pool. So I was like, all right,
[23:39] Speaker 2: maybe that's where he wants to be.
[23:40] Speaker 1: But they were tweeting. They were a tweet tweet tweeting.
[23:43] Speaker 2: They were tweeting for their mom.
[23:44] Speaker 1: They were tweeting for their mom. So I say to Cynthia.
[23:47] Speaker 1: I was like, Cynthia, did you see that there's ducks
[23:49] Speaker 1: back here? And she goes, oh, yeah, there was like
[23:51] Speaker 1: a mom and all her babies. She shows me a
[23:54] Speaker 1: picture there on the basketball court, just having like a
[23:56] Speaker 1: little heyday back there, shows me the picture, so I
[23:59] Speaker 1: know where they are.
[24:00] Speaker 3: Now we walk back there. I so let me also
[24:07] Speaker 3: reiterate the ducks.
[24:11] Speaker 2: I did not know there were a family of them.
[24:14] Speaker 2: I just saw the one in the pool. So I
[24:18] Speaker 2: went out and tried to help. But Bernice got out
[24:22] Speaker 2: of the house and she she killed two of them.
[24:29] Speaker 2: It's the only way to put it. She killed two
[24:31] Speaker 2: of them.
[24:32] Speaker 1: It makes me so sad.
[24:33] Speaker 2: No, it makes me sad. And here's the thing, like
[24:35] Speaker 2: Pablo I wouldn't even go near, Like he wouldn't even
[24:39] Speaker 2: go outside and Bernice was just out there. And then
[24:41] Speaker 2: after we found the duck in the pool, I was like,
[24:43] Speaker 2: oh no. So I went around the yard and we
[24:47] Speaker 2: found one poor little ducky.
[24:51] Speaker 1: An ocean was out there, and she like runs in
[24:53] Speaker 1: the house and goes and gets like these little snow
[24:55] Speaker 1: mini mouse mittens, like what are you doing? I'm gonna
[24:59] Speaker 1: pay get up. We have to save it. I was like, baby,
[25:02] Speaker 1: it died, and she was like, no, you have to
[25:03] Speaker 1: give it mouth to mouth. I'm like no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
[25:05] Speaker 1: no no. I was like, it's gone. This is the
[25:09] Speaker 1: backyard where baby things come to die. Remember the squirrel.
[25:13] Speaker 1: I remember the squirrel.
[25:15] Speaker 2: Two days later, guys found another one. Well, I see
[25:18] Speaker 2: Bernice just like in the backyard being weird, being Bernice,
[25:24] Speaker 2: And I was like, something's not right. So I walk
[25:26] Speaker 2: out there and right when I walk out there, she
[25:28] Speaker 2: turns and she has another one in her mouth.
[25:32] Speaker 1: A baby duck.
[25:33] Speaker 2: M hm, baby tweety, a baby tweety. And I looked at.
[25:37] Speaker 1: Her, Oh my god.
[25:39] Speaker 2: She dropped the duck.
[25:40] Speaker 1: Can life get any worse?
[25:43] Speaker 2: And she legs between her tail between her legs, like
[25:47] Speaker 2: legs between her tail. The legs were between betwixt the tail. No,
[25:52] Speaker 2: she sprawled out like a little no, the frogs like
[25:55] Speaker 2: a frog sprawl. She knew any trouble. She kept looking
[25:59] Speaker 2: at it too, And so I had to pick that up.
[26:02] Speaker 2: And I won't lie to you. I looked at Bernice
[26:04] Speaker 2: very differently for a good couple of days.
[26:06] Speaker 1: How could you not?
[26:08] Speaker 2: Oh God, Bernice. The name fits it perfectly too. He
[26:12] Speaker 2: is a Bernice.
[26:14] Speaker 1: It just makes me so again. I thought, after the
[26:18] Speaker 1: squirrel situation, the squirrel situation and then the Palm Springs
[26:22] Speaker 1: house where I killed the lovebirds babies.
[26:25] Speaker 2: That was by accident.
[26:27] Speaker 1: Of course, it was by accident. I would never do
[26:29] Speaker 1: that on purpose, I know.
[26:29] Speaker 2: But we have to reiterate.
[26:32] Speaker 1: Speaking of passing, Archie Badore, Shannon Madore's famous golden retriever
[26:40] Speaker 1: passed away. I am sure she is beside herself. I
[26:44] Speaker 1: mean that was.
[26:45] Speaker 2: How old was her daughter?
[26:47] Speaker 1: I think at least ten. Oh, life is just so sad, man,
[26:52] Speaker 1: what is going on?
[26:53] Speaker 4: I know I cried to Pablo, and I know Shannon Badour,
[26:56] Speaker 4: probably because I look at him and Bernice. I cried
[27:00] Speaker 4: to both of them, and they've lived through everything with me.
[27:04] Speaker 1: I know that feeling.
[27:05] Speaker 4: Yeah, So when they're gone. It's like the chapters really gone.
[27:10] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[27:11] Speaker 1: Yeah, I remember moments laying on the floor with Lily
[27:15] Speaker 1: and thinking like when this animal goes, I'm gonna be
[27:19] Speaker 1: a rack. Yeah, And I would just saw them and
[27:21] Speaker 1: be like, it's not today. And then when that day came,
[27:23] Speaker 1: I immediately went back to those little special moments. Yea knowing,
[27:28] Speaker 1: but that's why I'm weird about time.
[27:31] Speaker 2: I know that's why Dad did it right. He croaked
[27:33] Speaker 2: before the.
[27:34] Speaker 1: Dog And we listened to one song. We listened to
[27:40] Speaker 1: Angel by Fifth Harmony. I turned down when it says
[27:43] Speaker 1: the fuck word and replace it with mess and Ocean
[27:47] Speaker 1: sits in there, and then the song ends and she
[27:54] Speaker 1: didn't ask for another one, and she was just talking
[27:55] Speaker 1: because you know, she's a talker, and I just sat
[27:58] Speaker 1: there and looked in the rear view. I did pay
[28:00] Speaker 1: attention to the road on occasion, but I was like,
[28:04] Speaker 1: the days are winding down where I'm taking my child
[28:08] Speaker 1: to t K. Then it's going to be kindergarten and
[28:11] Speaker 1: first grade, and like, yes, I know I'm telling you
[28:14] Speaker 1: things that you all know that this is how school works,
[28:16] Speaker 1: but it's the time that fucks me up so badly.
[28:20] Speaker 1: Watching her on my Instagram be terrified of me saying,
[28:25] Speaker 1: Santa Claus is on the phone, you have to pool
[28:28] Speaker 1: all gone gone, you know. I'm like, that was yesterday,
[28:32] Speaker 1: that was that was yesterday, that was not three years ago?
[28:35] Speaker 1: How did I blink and the time just was done?
[28:39] Speaker 2: Right?
[28:40] Speaker 1: Yeah?
[28:41] Speaker 2: When she when she so yeah, but he was like,
[28:46] Speaker 2: where is she? Like? That is she?
[28:48] Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gonna be There's going to be a day
[28:52] Speaker 1: where she says, where is she?
[28:53] Speaker 2: Like a normal And I'm going to the point of
[28:56] Speaker 2: when you were talking about ocean and I said, where
[28:59] Speaker 2: is she that little version of her where?
[29:02] Speaker 1: Oh, don't make me solve on this podcast. I can't
[29:05] Speaker 1: take it. I really can't take it. Let's move on
[29:08] Speaker 1: to news about Spencer Pratt.
[29:11] Speaker 2: Bro, Do you think that hurt him? What him saying
[29:15] Speaker 2: if he doesn't win, he'll move away from LA Do
[29:18] Speaker 2: you think that.
[29:18] Speaker 1: Hurts you know, I don't understand politics. I look at
[29:23] Speaker 1: things that help or hurt them, and I'm like, I
[29:26] Speaker 1: can't even believe that I'm looking at what I'm looking at.
[29:28] Speaker 1: I'm like, out of all the people on the planet,
[29:31] Speaker 1: and I'm not coming for Spencer. I'm just saying in general,
[29:34] Speaker 1: there are moments where I'm like, these these are the options.
[29:38] Speaker 2: Guys. What do you think about him wanting to do
[29:42] Speaker 2: a reality TV show? That's I think already been done.
[29:45] Speaker 2: I think they've already picked up cameras. They're doing it,
[29:48] Speaker 2: or they did it through his election or electoral.
[29:50] Speaker 1: Let me tell you this, I never talk about who
[29:52] Speaker 1: I vote because it's just not important, right or maybe
[29:57] Speaker 1: it is, depending on how you look at it. I
[29:58] Speaker 1: just I do my thing. I You should have seen
[30:02] Speaker 1: me on chat GPT when I was feeling out at Easton.
[30:06] Speaker 1: I was like, Easton's I need to know what I'm doing,
[30:10] Speaker 1: not like obviously everyone knows, like the mayor.
[30:16] Speaker 2: Although when you're.
[30:17] Speaker 1: Talking about the sixty six the districts.
[30:20] Speaker 2: Like that, we were like, all right, who's in right now?
[30:22] Speaker 2: And does it need change?
[30:24] Speaker 1: Right?
[30:24] Speaker 2: Okay?
[30:25] Speaker 1: The questions.
[30:25] Speaker 4: Then we saw the homework. Yeah, and then we saw
[30:28] Speaker 4: some people that are in. We did research. They're trying
[30:31] Speaker 4: to do a lot of things. Budget isn't there, and
[30:33] Speaker 4: we're like, why can't we got to you know, sometimes
[30:35] Speaker 4: we've got to keep the same person in who is
[30:37] Speaker 4: putting an effort, and things like.
[30:39] Speaker 1: Sheriff's department, does he have any control over what's happening
[30:42] Speaker 1: if there's no funding, Like we really put the pieces
[30:45] Speaker 1: of the puzzles out.
[30:46] Speaker 4: There because guys, what I I mean, I'll get a
[30:50] Speaker 4: little polt, I'll get into politics. It's hard because when
[30:53] Speaker 4: we were casting our vote for like the sheriff, the
[30:57] Speaker 4: new sheriff, I was like, this is so hard because
[30:59] Speaker 4: the only thing that I'm remembering is when Karen Bass
[31:05] Speaker 4: fired the chief of the fire department when all of
[31:10] Speaker 4: the fires were going on, and she was saying that
[31:13] Speaker 4: we had no water, we just had and forgive me
[31:16] Speaker 4: if I'm wrong. It was like seventeen million dollars taken
[31:18] Speaker 4: away from their budget and all of this stuff. So
[31:20] Speaker 4: it's like the fire, like the police, the chief of
[31:24] Speaker 4: police and her like, they could be the best for
[31:27] Speaker 4: that position, and we're voting them out because we don't
[31:30] Speaker 4: think they're doing enough, and it's because their hands are
[31:32] Speaker 4: tied with funding.
[31:34] Speaker 2: So it was hard. It was hard for me. It
[31:36] Speaker 2: was so hard, yeah, because I was like, it's it
[31:39] Speaker 2: doesn't feel right to vote somebody out who is actually
[31:42] Speaker 2: giving their all and being honest. Do you want to
[31:46] Speaker 2: say how I don't feel right voting somebody else in
[31:49] Speaker 2: when you are doing what you can and doing it
[31:52] Speaker 2: pretty well with what you're given. It was tough. It's hard.
[31:55] Speaker 2: I think politics are the hardest thing in the world.
[31:57] Speaker 2: And every time you cast your vote you always think, fuck.
[32:01] Speaker 1: I think there's did I make the right choice? You
[32:05] Speaker 1: want someone in the position. Specific to Spencer Pratt, he
[32:10] Speaker 1: lived it right like he's for the people because he
[32:12] Speaker 1: is the people. However, the man has not one ounce
[32:15] Speaker 1: of but that's experience in politics.
[32:18] Speaker 2: But that's where I love him and he.
[32:21] Speaker 3: No, but he saying that, But he didn't because even
[32:24] Speaker 3: said it with Karen Bass when they were going back and.
[32:27] Speaker 4: Forth, and he was like, I'm not and he goes,
[32:29] Speaker 4: But what I can do is surround myself with amazing
[32:33] Speaker 4: people and an amazing team, just like Karen Bass has.
[32:36] Speaker 2: But my team will care. She just pretends to. Okay,
[32:40] Speaker 2: So it's like that is true, and it's like I
[32:43] Speaker 2: I know right from wrong.
[32:44] Speaker 4: I need to be I need a team around me,
[32:47] Speaker 4: but I can also tell my team that this isn't right.
[32:49] Speaker 4: So it's sometimes having somebody that isn't so smart, but
[32:52] Speaker 4: that can put you in a logical position that makes sense. Right.
[32:56] Speaker 1: I do understand that that there's a lot of cooks
[32:57] Speaker 1: in the kitchen, and then there's one face to the
[33:00] Speaker 1: madness when it comes to the reality show. I don't
[33:05] Speaker 1: love that at all. And you said, well, then we
[33:07] Speaker 1: can see as every move. I'm like, coming from someone
[33:10] Speaker 1: who has been a part of reality TV for a
[33:13] Speaker 1: long time, they can shop and screw that as much
[33:16] Speaker 1: as they freaking want. They can manipulate scenes, they can
[33:19] Speaker 1: whatever they want to do. They can freaking do right,
[33:21] Speaker 1: a reality show, it's not a documentary where it's you know,
[33:26] Speaker 1: like the Crash right where no one who was a
[33:30] Speaker 1: part of that documentary had any control over what was
[33:33] Speaker 1: going to be the final edit. Yeah, it was a
[33:36] Speaker 1: bunch of producers that were watching going, oh, this is
[33:39] Speaker 1: fucking wild that these things are coming. Which I want
[33:42] Speaker 1: to talk about the crash so badly. Oh my god. Okay,
[33:46] Speaker 1: hold on, stick to stick, don't let your add get
[33:50] Speaker 1: the best of you. It doesn't matter. I don't like
[33:54] Speaker 1: the idea of the reality show at all. I think
[33:57] Speaker 1: that that I mean one filming maybe him going you know,
[34:02] Speaker 1: through the race, but if he takes it, stick to
[34:06] Speaker 1: like the job at hand, which is making La a
[34:10] Speaker 1: place that is livable again, Like make it the city.
[34:14] Speaker 2: Don't worry about that.
[34:16] Speaker 1: I moved to You know, you have now traded the
[34:20] Speaker 1: reality hat for being the mayor of Los Angeles. We're
[34:26] Speaker 1: going to need to take that very serious.
[34:29] Speaker 2: That's where I'm at. It's just like it's a very
[34:31] Speaker 2: serious position and throwing cameras at it like a reality
[34:36] Speaker 2: show kind of waters down. I think what the job
[34:39] Speaker 2: title is, and that's what scares me in a sense.
[34:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, the crash was freaking crazy. I want to talk
[34:58] Speaker 1: about it. It's like number on Netflix right now. I'm
[35:01] Speaker 1: sure it'll be number one very soon. You must watch it.
[35:03] Speaker 1: It's about a girl who was driving a car with
[35:07] Speaker 1: her boyfriend and a friend in the back seat. They
[35:09] Speaker 1: crashed into a wall and as time passes, alarm bell
[35:15] Speaker 1: start going off, saying, this doesn't seem like an accident
[35:17] Speaker 1: to me, this seems like murder. Watch it, please, because
[35:22] Speaker 1: I want to talk about it the next time we podcast.
[35:25] Speaker 2: And when we do, we should have asked. We should
[35:27] Speaker 2: have a Q and A with people asking certain things.
[35:30] Speaker 1: You were trying to get this bitch out. She's just
[35:31] Speaker 1: fucking crazy.
[35:33] Speaker 2: Really, okay. See that's where I want to know, and
[35:34] Speaker 2: it's insane. How could you okay?
[35:37] Speaker 1: So I want to read you guys. It was last
[35:42] Speaker 1: week's episode. I talked about Mauricio. He was caught outside
[35:47] Speaker 1: of Crags. He called the paparazzi to Crags so he
[35:50] Speaker 1: can do they like live out there? They live out there.
[35:54] Speaker 1: It was like TMZ who maybe asked him a question
[35:58] Speaker 1: about what I said on my podcast and he calls
[36:01] Speaker 1: me a fucking liar. All right, I first want to say,
[36:06] Speaker 1: this is the exact transcript of what I said on
[36:09] Speaker 1: the podcast. You guys, it has been so good, but
[36:13] Speaker 1: I was so surprised to hear that the Potomac Housewives
[36:15] Speaker 1: had filmed with Mauricio and I believe Chemo sabe and
[36:19] Speaker 1: that a lot of them were like gassing him up
[36:21] Speaker 1: and like flirting with him and talking about how sexy
[36:24] Speaker 1: he is, and then Kyle receiving h like I'm sorries.
[36:28] Speaker 1: I'm literally reading it verbatim, no, like like that was
[36:31] Speaker 1: not cool, and Kyle's absolutely right, And maybe I'm up
[36:33] Speaker 1: in the night with this, but I do feel like
[36:35] Speaker 1: within our little Bravo community, it is like, and especially
[36:39] Speaker 1: with the Housewives, there's some there's some sort of unspoken
[36:42] Speaker 1: sisterhood where you just don't date within the crew, right
[36:45] Speaker 1: mm hmm, even if you're not on the same show,
[36:47] Speaker 1: you'd think you just don't do it. And as Kyle
[36:50] Speaker 1: is talking about like if she wants moBack or like
[36:54] Speaker 1: why they haven't filed for divorce, she's saying that it's
[36:57] Speaker 1: not that she's waiting for him to come back, but
[36:59] Speaker 1: it's more of just like a timing thing, like she's
[37:02] Speaker 1: gonna know when it feels right. But her eye said
[37:04] Speaker 1: something different to me. And when they replayed her talking
[37:07] Speaker 1: about how if they would have chosen the other life
[37:09] Speaker 1: right where he didn't have two Nichols to his name,
[37:12] Speaker 1: but we thought about moving to Colorado, he'd be a
[37:15] Speaker 1: ski instructor, and had we chosen that path, I think
[37:18] Speaker 1: we would still be together. And how did we let
[37:21] Speaker 1: something so beautiful slip away? I just men and women
[37:25] Speaker 1: think so differently, so freaking differently. Because Kyle talking about
[37:30] Speaker 1: how you know she's holding on to the memories she
[37:33] Speaker 1: thought that going to her daughter's weddings or graduations, she
[37:36] Speaker 1: would be with the father of her child. And she
[37:38] Speaker 1: shows up to a holiday party and her not husband's
[37:41] Speaker 1: slash husband is like very much living a single life
[37:44] Speaker 1: and feeling okay about it, and I just can't help
[37:48] Speaker 1: but think, like, are we supposed to like be together
[37:51] Speaker 1: men and women? I don't know anymore, Like what is
[37:55] Speaker 1: the point? You have your kids, you build a life,
[37:57] Speaker 1: and then you know, you run the risk of thirty
[38:00] Speaker 1: years you have literally every single memory of your adult
[38:03] Speaker 1: life and becoming a mother. How in the world does
[38:05] Speaker 1: one party Usually the woman move on from that without
[38:08] Speaker 1: holding on extremely tight, where the man can go out
[38:11] Speaker 1: and just like find women in their twenties and totally
[38:14] Speaker 1: be okay, not even think about the memories. It's just
[38:17] Speaker 1: really really hard to wrap my mind around and reconcile
[38:19] Speaker 1: it because I think about this like brief interaction that
[38:22] Speaker 1: I had with someone, and I'm like, I can't imagine
[38:24] Speaker 1: having thirty years with somebody and it coming to a close.
[38:28] Speaker 1: I'm like wrapped up in my own head. Kyle is
[38:31] Speaker 1: a strong woman, strong, strong woman, And I don't even
[38:33] Speaker 1: know if I should be sharing this. It happened so
[38:36] Speaker 1: long ago. I have to say. When I was doing
[38:39] Speaker 1: the podcast with Easton and my old assistant Jessica, I
[38:42] Speaker 1: got the weirdest DM and I was talking about Kyle
[38:45] Speaker 1: and Mo at the time, and this was like at
[38:48] Speaker 1: the height of them not really knowing what they were doing.
[38:50] Speaker 1: But I got a DM from him saying something along
[38:52] Speaker 1: the lines of, you know, I talk about him on
[38:54] Speaker 1: my podcast and he would like to grab a coffee
[38:58] Speaker 1: and just never opened it or respond like what I mean,
[39:01] Speaker 1: what would you have to talk about? There's not a
[39:04] Speaker 1: chance in maybe trying to convince me that, like what
[39:07] Speaker 1: I was saying, I don't even know it could have
[39:10] Speaker 1: been controlled damage. Oh I say it twice a double down.
[39:13] Speaker 1: I don't really know the point. But I'm certainly not
[39:15] Speaker 1: going to be caught out having coffee with you. No,
[39:18] Speaker 1: that's not going to happen. So many other podcasts that
[39:21] Speaker 1: are talking about this exact same thing. How about we
[39:24] Speaker 1: all will all grab coffee and we can try to
[39:26] Speaker 1: and you can try to win us all over, because
[39:28] Speaker 1: it's not going to look good for you. No, we
[39:29] Speaker 1: certainly not one on one. If you're upset about the podcast.
[39:33] Speaker 1: There's many a podcast that are talking. So we're going
[39:35] Speaker 1: to need to make this a group meeting. He's trying
[39:37] Speaker 1: to put out like one little fire when the whole
[39:39] Speaker 1: mountain's flaming. It's like, buddy, good luck. Okay, So the
[39:44] Speaker 1: claim is that he slid into my DM, and I
[39:46] Speaker 1: went on the podcast last week and talked about how
[39:50] Speaker 1: he asked me out on a date, a coffee date.
[39:53] Speaker 1: With what I just read you, I not once, not
[39:57] Speaker 1: a once, said that he asked me out on a
[39:59] Speaker 1: coffee date. I have the exact DM, the exact DM,
[40:06] Speaker 1: and what's weird is that he wouldn't unsend it. That's
[40:09] Speaker 1: what I would have done. See Hey, La La, how
[40:11] Speaker 1: are you hey? I am wondering since you seem to
[40:14] Speaker 1: have an opinion and speculations about me as to whether
[40:17] Speaker 1: I am a player or not, I would like to
[40:19] Speaker 1: talk to you. Let me know if you are up
[40:21] Speaker 1: for that by phone or happy to get a coffee.
[40:24] Speaker 1: It is literally what I portrayed in the podcast that
[40:28] Speaker 1: you were trying to do control damage control.
[40:31] Speaker 2: You're really on that one. You're really on the control
[40:33] Speaker 2: of damage.
[40:35] Speaker 1: That you were trying to do damage control. I never
[40:38] Speaker 1: said you asked me on a date. I talked about
[40:40] Speaker 1: how I spoke about you and Kyle on the podcast.
[40:43] Speaker 1: You didn't like what I was saying. I not once
[40:46] Speaker 1: said that you asked me out on a date. Let's
[40:48] Speaker 1: talk about you. Now, MO old enough to be my
[40:52] Speaker 1: fucking dad, and you're out at Craigs. Sure a little
[40:58] Speaker 1: sauce calling a thirty five year old a fucking liar
[41:04] Speaker 1: on repeat. I really really had high hopes for you, dog,
[41:10] Speaker 1: but you have continued to show me and everyone else
[41:15] Speaker 1: that no matter how much money you have or how
[41:17] Speaker 1: successful this real estate business is is, you are still
[41:22] Speaker 1: a fucking loser. And I stand on that ten toes
[41:27] Speaker 1: down for you, as a grown man father, a grown
[41:32] Speaker 1: man who is a father to all girls, all girls.
[41:37] Speaker 1: For you to go out and handle this the way
[41:42] Speaker 1: you did, you should feel so embarrassed and ashamed. But
[41:46] Speaker 1: why would someone like you feel embarrassed or ashamed. We've
[41:49] Speaker 1: all seen you out and about doing whatever it is
[41:51] Speaker 1: you do mid life crisis ying, over and over again.
[41:55] Speaker 1: God make it end. No one wants to watch it anymore.
[41:58] Speaker 1: You will not come for me like that. I'm a
[42:00] Speaker 1: lot of things. I'm not a fucking liar. I didn't
[42:03] Speaker 1: lie here. I will not. You will not catch me
[42:06] Speaker 1: deadline because I believe in the universe, and the universe
[42:09] Speaker 1: will always expose the truth. How fucking dare you you
[42:13] Speaker 1: would think that a man who is as old as
[42:16] Speaker 1: you are as old as you are and has a
[42:20] Speaker 1: company that's worth multiple, multiple, multiple, hundreds of millions of
[42:25] Speaker 1: dollars that you would have more to worry about than
[42:30] Speaker 1: the Give Them La La podcast, now known as Untraditionally
[42:34] Speaker 1: La La. I liked midlife crisises when they just involved
[42:38] Speaker 1: a red Corvette. Go get a red corvette, all right?
[42:41] Speaker 1: You guys are amazing. A reminder that a new episode
[42:44] Speaker 1: of Untraditionally La La airs every Wednesday. You can catch
[42:47] Speaker 1: the bonus on Mondays. And don't forget an Unlikely Affair
[42:51] Speaker 1: with Myself and Amber Childers airs every Thursday at nine pm,
[42:54] Speaker 1: or you can catch it the next day. I love you, guys,
[42:56] Speaker 1: Bye bye to be
