[0:01] Speaker 1: Hi Amber, Hilelah, Welcome to an unlikely affair.
[0:09] Speaker 2: Hey, babes, it.
[0:10] Speaker 1: Is Laala Kent and my girl Amber Childers. Hi baby,
[0:13] Speaker 1: hi baby, welcome to.
[0:15] Speaker 2: An unlikely affair.
[0:16] Speaker 1: I'm so hyped on Today we have Olivia Pearson and
[0:19] Speaker 1: Natalie Halcrow. For those of you living under a rock,
[0:21] Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you a little rundown of who we have.
[0:24] Speaker 2: So Olivia and do you go by NAT's Nat? Natalie?
[0:29] Speaker 1: Okay, both from Canada. Canada makes the hottest fucking women
[0:33] Speaker 1: by the way, so congratulations on that.
[0:36] Speaker 2: Olivia.
[0:37] Speaker 1: Olivia, you were a styling assistant to an influencer reality
[0:43] Speaker 1: TV personality. She has a passion for health and wellness,
[0:46] Speaker 1: often sharing the routines and practices that support her lifestyle.
[0:49] Speaker 1: I'm giving you a fucking follow after this. Natalie, you
[0:53] Speaker 1: this blew my fucking mind. You helped Instagram launch the
[0:57] Speaker 1: grid layout in twenty twelve.
[1:00] Speaker 2: Please elaborate what does that mean?
[1:02] Speaker 3: I mean, I don't okay, I don't want to actually
[1:04] Speaker 3: taken in talks with Instagram. No, if you know, you
[1:09] Speaker 3: know type sitch, what I would know? Do you want
[1:12] Speaker 3: to say I like posting because I mean you are
[1:16] Speaker 3: so talented, but okay, so you know, when Instagram started
[1:20] Speaker 3: the pretty aesthetic feeds, like when you go to it, it
[1:23] Speaker 3: looks like a magazine. The colors match, nothing's too crazy
[1:27] Speaker 3: or busy or whatever. I will go and said, I
[1:30] Speaker 3: think Natalie, at least not the first, like one of
[1:33] Speaker 3: the first, if not the first, people to do that.
[1:36] Speaker 3: Her eye is just so good. You're aesthetically very talented,
[1:40] Speaker 3: and I think that's why a lot of you know,
[1:43] Speaker 3: but I think that's why a lot of following also
[1:45] Speaker 3: started coming. We were posting our makeup or outfits and
[1:48] Speaker 3: then you were like, let me go one step further
[1:50] Speaker 3: and make it all look pretty on my feed back
[1:52] Speaker 3: in the day, I feel like no one was doing that,
[1:53] Speaker 3: so it was like I feel like even just like
[1:57] Speaker 3: selfies were like a thing where people were like making
[1:59] Speaker 3: fun of you for doing this. I feel no, we didn't,
[2:02] Speaker 3: but I just feel like at the beginning it was
[2:04] Speaker 3: like a just even post a selfie and then to
[2:06] Speaker 3: like list what products are using, Like no one was
[2:09] Speaker 3: doing that. That was like so new, you know, And
[2:12] Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know, I didn't coin myself the
[2:14] Speaker 3: trail Brazer for this, someone else did, well. I did, because.
[2:17] Speaker 1: Which makes it more fabulous though when someone else and
[2:21] Speaker 1: you're not just like the self proclaimed, it's like, oh,
[2:24] Speaker 1: this is like a title that someone.
[2:25] Speaker 2: Else gave me. I'm into it.
[2:28] Speaker 1: You also share digital media, you're both of your instagrams
[2:32] Speaker 1: are gorgeous, and you're a single mama, Yes I am.
[2:35] Speaker 2: And how old is your baby?
[2:36] Speaker 3: She's six six?
[2:38] Speaker 1: Yeah, so I just have to know, because how long
[2:41] Speaker 1: have you guys been in LA?
[2:42] Speaker 3: For eleven and a half years?
[2:45] Speaker 2: And what did you move to LA to do the first.
[2:48] Speaker 3: TV show we're on called Wegs Reality TV?
[2:51] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[2:52] Speaker 3: Yeah, so we were both still in Vancouver and how
[2:57] Speaker 3: do we break it down? So it's not so a
[2:59] Speaker 3: long haul. But we had a girlfriend, Nicole, who lived
[3:01] Speaker 3: here and she and her agent were presented the show
[3:05] Speaker 3: and she reached out to Nally and was like, hey,
[3:09] Speaker 3: do you want to do this? And Alie's like, well, yeah,
[3:12] Speaker 3: Olivia is coming too, because we were both in Canada.
[3:14] Speaker 3: So yeah, they were looking for girls that were dating
[3:17] Speaker 3: athletes at the time because I was like wives and
[3:18] Speaker 3: girlfriends the sports stars and so Nicole's boyfriend at the
[3:22] Speaker 3: time was playing on the same team as my boyfriend.
[3:25] Speaker 3: So her agent was like, oh, do you know anyone
[3:27] Speaker 3: else that's like dating an athlete, And so they approached
[3:30] Speaker 3: about the show, and then we were like, I'm like,
[3:33] Speaker 3: I'm never not going without her.
[3:36] Speaker 2: We're packing.
[3:37] Speaker 3: Well, she's single, and I'm like, yeah, I'm not dating
[3:41] Speaker 3: anyone right now. They're like too bad. Two for one. Yeah,
[3:47] Speaker 3: So that was originally how we first came out to LA.
[3:49] Speaker 3: We like blindly were like, yeah, we're coming.
[3:52] Speaker 2: We're getting a visa because it's not easy.
[3:54] Speaker 3: I don't know if you girls are familiar, but it's not.
[3:56] Speaker 3: And even with having a show and e it wasn't
[3:59] Speaker 3: like the easyest thing you need like network execs to
[4:01] Speaker 3: signed letters and and you get a loader and.
[4:03] Speaker 2: The whole thing.
[4:05] Speaker 3: But we were blindly We always joke like when we
[4:07] Speaker 3: were younger, our manifestation was so much almost better, because
[4:11] Speaker 3: you're almost I don't want to say dumber, but like
[4:14] Speaker 3: the world hasn't.
[4:15] Speaker 2: Hurt you enough. Ye, you're obliviate.
[4:19] Speaker 3: L A and of course you're going to be on
[4:20] Speaker 3: a TV show and get our visas and move there.
[4:22] Speaker 3: Of course. And we had vision boards. Honestly before it
[4:24] Speaker 3: was like the trendy. We put literally like the symbol
[4:28] Speaker 3: in the middle of the board in American money and
[4:31] Speaker 3: like everything that came true, like our mom We showed
[4:34] Speaker 3: our moms and they're like, oh yeah you guys and go.
[4:36] Speaker 2: For it, like.
[4:38] Speaker 3: Totally we're nutstill, like okay, girls, sure, it's before I
[4:41] Speaker 3: g was when we were making the board. So it
[4:43] Speaker 3: was a little like there was like celebrities we cut
[4:47] Speaker 3: their heads off put ours on like it was really yeah,
[4:53] Speaker 3: when no one was really doing that. So our family
[4:55] Speaker 3: was like, I'm like, I write myself and like my kids, if.
[5:03] Speaker 2: You write yourself a check, Yeah, what's the number on
[5:06] Speaker 2: that check?
[5:06] Speaker 4: You know it's a.
[5:10] Speaker 2: Lot here.
[5:11] Speaker 5: And you know what if I have to aim ridiculously
[5:13] Speaker 5: high and I land somewhere between good exactly as you know,
[5:18] Speaker 5: like your life has manifested everything.
[5:21] Speaker 4: It's it's not it's not this weird like let's do
[5:26] Speaker 4: vision boards. It's like there's an energy is listening and
[5:31] Speaker 4: if you put it out there.
[5:33] Speaker 5: It's like when people say like, oh, what if this
[5:34] Speaker 5: doesn't happen and you have to say, well, what if everything?
[5:37] Speaker 3: What is love like? To believe it? And they I mean,
[5:42] Speaker 3: we still have it now, but we weren't like I
[5:44] Speaker 3: look back and go that's what I mean, just like
[5:46] Speaker 3: would both waitresses at a restaurant, we just would tell
[5:49] Speaker 3: peop are working with what we're going to have our
[5:51] Speaker 3: own sho oh yeah, we're gonna be honey, like everybody
[5:58] Speaker 3: like crazy. People have to be delusion.
[6:00] Speaker 2: In this town.
[6:01] Speaker 5: If you stepped into Hollywood, you have you can't just
[6:03] Speaker 5: set your bar so fucking low.
[6:05] Speaker 4: It has to be so outrageous.
[6:06] Speaker 2: Like I originally like people.
[6:09] Speaker 3: Like made fun of us from a small town in
[6:11] Speaker 3: Canada and everyone's like, oh my god, they're sure. Girls
[6:13] Speaker 3: were like yeah, totally like yeah, and we just blindly
[6:19] Speaker 3: I gotta say though, to what it really was just
[6:23] Speaker 3: like a natural feeling like it was trying to moving there.
[6:29] Speaker 3: We're going to be on a show.
[6:30] Speaker 5: Okay, so now you're on WAGS at that point in
[6:32] Speaker 5: your career, How did that transition?
[6:35] Speaker 4: Like was it everything you imagined? Was it harder?
[6:38] Speaker 2: Was it easier?
[6:39] Speaker 4: Like walk me through that.
[6:41] Speaker 3: I think the also good part. We were so much younger,
[6:45] Speaker 3: and like we just moved to l A and we're
[6:47] Speaker 3: like drinking like everywhere like this, we're partying and even
[6:51] Speaker 3: on our right on a fucking Tuesday, we read see
[6:55] Speaker 3: in that little cafe.
[6:56] Speaker 2: Yeah, and we're filming a show.
[6:58] Speaker 3: Call it like the days, because we come to America.
[7:00] Speaker 3: We were like we were in the Days, and we'd
[7:03] Speaker 3: come to America, like Americans understand you guys don't get
[7:06] Speaker 3: even just something simple like bathroom body works. To us
[7:09] Speaker 3: was just like or factory anything America honestly, like, it's
[7:16] Speaker 3: just yeah, I want to we're staying on our show.
[7:18] Speaker 3: To Natalie that like next season, we want to film
[7:21] Speaker 3: like going to even like a college campus, like we
[7:23] Speaker 3: never got to do like the US cheerleader and frat
[7:28] Speaker 3: thing that's a movie Friday night lights or anything. Nothing.
[7:32] Speaker 1: So it just.
[7:33] Speaker 2: Produced really hot chicks.
[7:34] Speaker 3: To just sit around around and just yeah no seriously.
[7:38] Speaker 3: But so we were like this is just amazing. We
[7:41] Speaker 3: were having so much fun and we're like, oh, our
[7:43] Speaker 3: dreams coming true. Of course we're filming. We're just having fun.
[7:46] Speaker 3: We're in la and I think we just like envisioned
[7:50] Speaker 3: ourselves filming so much, like in a crazy way that
[7:52] Speaker 3: when we did it, we were like, oh, well, yeah,
[7:54] Speaker 3: here we.
[7:55] Speaker 5: Are at the time, and I imagine you found a
[7:58] Speaker 5: boyfriend like in two seconds, yeah.
[8:01] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah totally.
[8:02] Speaker 3: And then he came on the show and then some
[8:06] Speaker 3: teas we broke up, and then another season's my actual
[8:10] Speaker 3: boyfriend won't film and was he an athlete? Yes, okay, yeah,
[8:15] Speaker 3: so then I'm going on dates on the Way show.
[8:18] Speaker 1: Did you find it hard to like live your authentic
[8:20] Speaker 1: lives on camera or were you pretty much an open
[8:23] Speaker 1: book and would talk about anything?
[8:25] Speaker 3: We were open, were open, and I think we were
[8:29] Speaker 3: very open. Yeah, and yeah we're getting our assholes, bleach,
[8:32] Speaker 3: getting ner vaginasty. Yeah yeah, you filmed everything with your
[8:38] Speaker 3: ex and then we followed my journey as well relationally.
[8:42] Speaker 3: But no, yeah, I think we were pretty open. I
[8:44] Speaker 3: think that's why people resonated, is like, also I have
[8:49] Speaker 3: to say we're family in that chemistry of just like
[8:52] Speaker 3: you know, we've known each other since we were born,
[8:53] Speaker 3: I think came through on camera and the comfortability we
[8:57] Speaker 3: were so authentic because you girls, know, you forget the cameras,
[9:01] Speaker 3: so like we're just hanging out fucking around, right, So
[9:03] Speaker 3: I think that came through. And I was always obviously
[9:06] Speaker 3: comfortable with you and our good girlfriend Nicole, But there
[9:09] Speaker 3: was times again I'm sure you girls know, with like
[9:12] Speaker 3: producing stuff that like it's tough because they want you
[9:14] Speaker 3: to show, like well, show this part and you're like.
[9:17] Speaker 1: So Amber is like she's an actress and like poison
[9:21] Speaker 1: well spoken, So she's like in that world where I've
[9:26] Speaker 1: been doing reality to me, we we're just talking about
[9:29] Speaker 1: orgasms on camera.
[9:30] Speaker 4: So I'm telling you.
[9:33] Speaker 2: Are a voice because while we were talking.
[9:35] Speaker 1: About that, she's like, in order to orgasm, you have
[9:37] Speaker 1: to look yourself in the vagina, and she's like, no, no,
[9:42] Speaker 1: in the eyes in the mirror.
[9:42] Speaker 3: I was like, got it.
[9:44] Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, I really love your.
[9:48] Speaker 4: Results.
[9:50] Speaker 1: That's right the same, But they do tend to want
[9:55] Speaker 1: like the big explosive fights. And I don't know if.
[9:57] Speaker 2: If E and Brabha.
[9:58] Speaker 1: I feel like each netw work has its own formula
[10:01] Speaker 1: because there's just so many different Like I'm sure even
[10:03] Speaker 1: with Hulu, with your guys' new show The Girls on Hulu,
[10:07] Speaker 1: their formula for making reality TV is different than the
[10:10] Speaker 1: last network that.
[10:11] Speaker 3: You are learning. Yeah, it's all so different, different. Yeah,
[10:15] Speaker 3: I want to dive into that for sure. It's different.
[10:17] Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm so excited about the show.
[10:19] Speaker 5: Thanks. I've never been a reality I don't like because
[10:23] Speaker 5: of our past.
[10:24] Speaker 4: I think you kind of just like turned me.
[10:25] Speaker 2: Off a little bit. Lately.
[10:28] Speaker 4: I've been a little because the scripted stuff on TV,
[10:30] Speaker 4: they're just getting it.
[10:33] Speaker 2: I might as well just watch reality, like I don't
[10:34] Speaker 2: know what's worth. And then I watched I don't know
[10:37] Speaker 2: what's worse.
[10:41] Speaker 5: If you experience what I experienced in my shoes, you
[10:45] Speaker 5: wouldn't be so fond of reality. But then, but yes,
[10:49] Speaker 5: I was naive and I just dove into my first
[10:52] Speaker 5: reality show.
[10:53] Speaker 4: And now that's all I could fucking.
[10:56] Speaker 2: Which I will choose? Which one? It's love that Nator?
[11:01] Speaker 3: We love I'm so nice. We met them because upfronts
[11:05] Speaker 3: are get real?
[11:06] Speaker 2: Who get real? We met them.
[11:07] Speaker 3: They were so lovely.
[11:08] Speaker 2: It wasn't bad.
[11:11] Speaker 5: It wasn't like I've only seen clips of vander Pump
[11:14] Speaker 5: and I only use that as reference because of that situation.
[11:17] Speaker 4: But I it just wasn't for me, like gave me
[11:19] Speaker 4: a head because there was so much chaos going on
[11:21] Speaker 4: in my life time.
[11:23] Speaker 5: I'm like, I want fucking Buddha music totally, but love
[11:27] Speaker 5: I need her.
[11:28] Speaker 3: It's really fun. It's fun. Yeah, it's so good and exciting.
[11:32] Speaker 5: Yeah, and I have sisters too, so late and our relationship,
[11:36] Speaker 5: you know, it's like I get it so.
[11:38] Speaker 3: But I also get it too I've never really been
[11:40] Speaker 3: a reality fan, to be honest.
[11:41] Speaker 2: So would you not watch your own show?
[11:43] Speaker 5: No?
[11:43] Speaker 3: I mean we would sometimes have to whatever to watch,
[11:46] Speaker 3: Like well, back in the day you do live tweeting.
[11:48] Speaker 3: That's aging when tweet ye, so you'd be watching it.
[11:53] Speaker 3: But but we ever like watch. I know there's a
[11:56] Speaker 3: lot of episodes I didn't see, and then other shows. Yeah,
[11:58] Speaker 3: I just never watched anything. Was never a reality TV watcher.
[12:02] Speaker 3: I'm a watcher. Okay, Murder, we usually wind up with Murder,
[12:07] Speaker 3: really twisted, weird. They were like, why do we always
[12:11] Speaker 3: go to this because because it's like so so oh my,
[12:18] Speaker 3: because you're like, yeah, wow, how did this happen? Yeah,
[12:22] Speaker 3: but it's a bit questionable.
[12:32] Speaker 4: So after Wags, what did how was that?
[12:35] Speaker 6: Transitioned back into not There's all three?
[12:38] Speaker 2: That was three seasons, three.
[12:40] Speaker 3: Seasons, yeah, and everyone told us you guys won't do
[12:42] Speaker 3: good because you're not like the drama types. And then
[12:44] Speaker 3: we ended up getting our own spin off from that
[12:46] Speaker 3: show just us. Yeah, it was called Relatively and Live.
[12:49] Speaker 3: But our family and us and at the time our girlfriends,
[12:53] Speaker 3: as we all know, Kardashians were huge on e and
[12:56] Speaker 3: we have a similar like big family, and he was like,
[12:59] Speaker 3: we can't have like two family in La so you
[13:01] Speaker 3: got to shoot it back in Vancouver. And I was like, no,
[13:06] Speaker 3: we were to leave this. Honestly, was very confused and
[13:13] Speaker 3: I look at her. I'm like, this is all going
[13:14] Speaker 3: so good. We've got our goal because our goal was
[13:16] Speaker 3: our own show, like wet Board, so I'm like, we
[13:18] Speaker 3: did it another manifestation, but I was like, you're shooting
[13:21] Speaker 3: in Vancouver and yeah, and then like fitting the mold.
[13:24] Speaker 3: But and the thing that made us like popular on
[13:27] Speaker 3: the WEG Show was our comedy, Like we're known for
[13:29] Speaker 3: our comedy. And then when we did our own show
[13:32] Speaker 3: in Canada, we're like, is this like an inside job?
[13:34] Speaker 3: It felt weird because whoever was editing it edit out
[13:37] Speaker 3: all the comedy something felt were like job. So we're like,
[13:40] Speaker 3: this is our stick is like comedy, so to leave
[13:42] Speaker 3: that out felt really like this isn't us. And now
[13:45] Speaker 3: we're back in Canada and like and then thankfully COVID
[13:49] Speaker 3: hit during like because we had a contract i think
[13:51] Speaker 3: for a couple of years and with the production company
[13:53] Speaker 3: and with e and then COVID hit after season one,
[13:56] Speaker 3: so we were like out of it because of COVID
[13:59] Speaker 3: and then just time pregnant and it was like pregnant
[14:01] Speaker 3: and then and we were out of that contract and
[14:05] Speaker 3: then we're like, we're never doing really to again. Like
[14:07] Speaker 3: buts you like a little wounded by the last experience
[14:12] Speaker 3: that we were like because we hit the ground and
[14:15] Speaker 3: went hard. Like we're the type where again we come
[14:17] Speaker 3: from white hard introverts, so it's hard for us to
[14:19] Speaker 3: be on that much. We were on like seven years straight.
[14:23] Speaker 3: So I need my nervous system needed to go to
[14:25] Speaker 3: sleep and hibernate for like years.
[14:27] Speaker 2: I would.
[14:28] Speaker 1: So it's so funny that you say that because I'm
[14:31] Speaker 1: in the same way. I'm like such a homebody and
[14:34] Speaker 1: I feel like when I walk into a room like it.
[14:36] Speaker 3: You have to because on and it's a performance.
[14:40] Speaker 1: Yes, And so when I tell people that I'm a
[14:42] Speaker 1: homebody and an introvert, they're like, I would never guess that.
[14:45] Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm in a panic mode the entire time
[14:48] Speaker 1: that I'm with humans. And so because I would not
[14:52] Speaker 1: gather that from either of you.
[14:53] Speaker 3: Really, Yeah, yeah, we're big, we're big chronic and we're
[14:56] Speaker 3: so we're hard workers. We come from again Canada. We
[14:59] Speaker 3: just we'd have three jobs at a time. When we
[15:02] Speaker 3: show up, we want to make a show or we
[15:03] Speaker 3: want to work hard. We're not We're not the socking type.
[15:06] Speaker 3: So we went hard for seven years straight, working as
[15:09] Speaker 3: off like and someone couldn't swow up to a scene.
[15:12] Speaker 3: A producer would call be like, now live can you
[15:14] Speaker 3: We're like great, sure, throwing our makeup, like we were
[15:16] Speaker 3: those type of workers, and we prod ourselves in hard work,
[15:20] Speaker 3: but we were exhausted by the end of our own show.
[15:23] Speaker 3: The family show also that took a lot out because
[15:26] Speaker 3: love our family, but there's like what was the fourteen total,
[15:29] Speaker 3: and we were producers as well as starting Yeah, yeah,
[15:33] Speaker 3: you're dealing with their personal and emotions or like I
[15:37] Speaker 3: don't know if like you know, sometimes you're like, oh,
[15:40] Speaker 3: how's that going to look? You know, so you're like,
[15:41] Speaker 3: I'm all look back, and then you're putting out this fired.
[15:44] Speaker 3: It was just to all for it to not be
[15:47] Speaker 3: edited or like presented the way that we like wanted
[15:50] Speaker 3: or felt true to us. So really it was okay,
[15:52] Speaker 3: like I think it's a cute watch, but like it
[15:55] Speaker 3: should have been a lot better in my opinions. So
[15:58] Speaker 3: you got relieved when you were totally and COVID hit
[16:00] Speaker 3: was like a blessing disguise. It was like newly born,
[16:04] Speaker 3: So it was just a nice little world. Was weird
[16:05] Speaker 3: as hell happening all of us, right, yeah, yeah, And
[16:09] Speaker 3: at that point we got forced. We were at the
[16:11] Speaker 3: ten thousand building, which was beautiful and amazing, but all
[16:14] Speaker 3: the amenities shut down during COVID, So we're like, why
[16:16] Speaker 3: are we paying all this money to be it is here?
[16:18] Speaker 3: Overpriced as it is as it is, and then they
[16:21] Speaker 3: cut the amenities, are like, hey, let make it out
[16:23] Speaker 3: of here. And then you were outgrowing because it does.
[16:26] Speaker 3: And then Kim and Chloe were like, come to the
[16:27] Speaker 3: come to the valley, and we're like the valley like.
[16:30] Speaker 2: Yeah, we never like Siberia. We saw that.
[16:38] Speaker 3: We're like, oh, it's so fun. So we got rented
[16:41] Speaker 3: a house together and hidden hills and we're like, we'll
[16:43] Speaker 3: see how it goes. And then all of a sudden
[16:45] Speaker 3: we're like, really good, right we put together you have
[16:51] Speaker 3: quite the space. And then obviously now with my niece,
[16:55] Speaker 3: I'm just like I don't want to like not be
[16:57] Speaker 3: around I mean obviously, and we grew up in that
[16:59] Speaker 3: we were dream yeah, until we meet her. We joke
[17:03] Speaker 3: like it's last house before we just stop saying.
[17:07] Speaker 2: Yeah it was that still the setup right now?
[17:10] Speaker 3: So yes, so we moved out and we're now just
[17:13] Speaker 3: the Cowbass area. But when it came time to moving,
[17:16] Speaker 3: we're like, should we run it back Againner? And you know,
[17:19] Speaker 3: I think it's a couple of years ago now as
[17:23] Speaker 3: a four three Dove was three. She's sitting there. So anyways,
[17:28] Speaker 3: when we go to switch another place, we're like, do
[17:30] Speaker 3: we split up again? We yeah, we'll just go for
[17:32] Speaker 3: another house again. See how it goes. Thinking we're going
[17:35] Speaker 3: to meet our husband's.
[17:36] Speaker 2: Next week and then we haven't liked him yet.
[17:40] Speaker 3: We've done I've done some dating, but so it just
[17:43] Speaker 3: kind of works right now.
[17:44] Speaker 2: I think that's amazing.
[17:47] Speaker 3: We come to more big family. We grew up like
[17:49] Speaker 3: every Sunday, our families would be together during family dinner,
[17:52] Speaker 3: and like even right now, like her mom will go
[17:55] Speaker 3: visit my parents and stay with him for like a week,
[17:57] Speaker 3: and then like her brother was just with us for
[17:59] Speaker 3: almost in my then, Like we just always are all together,
[18:02] Speaker 3: we girls, especially with your single mom.
[18:05] Speaker 5: Yeah, like it's probably so nice having you there because
[18:07] Speaker 5: if you want to go out with your girls or whatever,
[18:09] Speaker 5: and you're like, you know what tonight, I just want
[18:10] Speaker 5: to do a face mask with my niece.
[18:11] Speaker 4: Like it's such a beautiful setup.
[18:13] Speaker 3: And if I'm not like married and have like a
[18:15] Speaker 3: family structure, traditional family structure, like what's the next best
[18:19] Speaker 3: thing then to have family in that she wakes up
[18:23] Speaker 3: to constant family. That's like I couldn't even ask for anything.
[18:26] Speaker 5: Idea of her a husband and a man because I
[18:29] Speaker 5: were married for seven years.
[18:32] Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, the older I get, I'm like, shit,
[18:35] Speaker 3: I know we have we have before, we have good dads,
[18:38] Speaker 3: and we're realizing just like first of all, now nowadays
[18:41] Speaker 3: and whatever, it's just like this is like what is that?
[18:44] Speaker 3: That's so I don't know anyone else. Maybe no, I'm
[18:47] Speaker 3: not really well my sister Nicole, like a few people's hope.
[18:54] Speaker 1: Yet, when you guys got onto TV and you were
[18:57] Speaker 1: doing your thing, did you find it became harder to
[19:00] Speaker 1: date or easier?
[19:01] Speaker 3: I think harter you think. I think when it was
[19:04] Speaker 3: more incognito, it was easier. I think now that you
[19:08] Speaker 3: kind of like have a name or like you're in
[19:10] Speaker 3: the public, it's it's different, I think because the person
[19:16] Speaker 3: I mean, if they don't know who you are and
[19:18] Speaker 3: meet you, I guess, but if they know of you
[19:20] Speaker 3: on social they have to be okay with your job
[19:22] Speaker 3: and that you're probably you know what I mean. So that
[19:24] Speaker 3: right there takes away some of the pool.
[19:27] Speaker 1: That's why I'm finding that it's harder because you can
[19:29] Speaker 1: behind that.
[19:30] Speaker 2: You think, who are way too thirsty.
[19:33] Speaker 3: But that's the thing.
[19:34] Speaker 1: They're so excited that they want nothing to do with it.
[19:37] Speaker 2: And like, my job, so I have to do this.
[19:40] Speaker 1: I literally provide for my child by putting my entire
[19:43] Speaker 1: life out there. And obviously you can still have your
[19:46] Speaker 1: personal life and baby that.
[19:48] Speaker 2: But the men who want nothing to do like it's
[19:51] Speaker 2: the great. Yeah, I know.
[19:52] Speaker 3: And I feel like usually a lot of the good
[19:54] Speaker 3: guys don't want anything to do with it. I think
[19:57] Speaker 3: that might not be true, but yeah, they would prefer
[20:01] Speaker 3: to maybe not be involved in all this stuff, but
[20:03] Speaker 3: maybe not see.
[20:04] Speaker 1: And I'm like, you don't want to be involved in
[20:06] Speaker 1: any capacity? What are you trying to fucking hide?
[20:08] Speaker 3: Totally true, that's true about guys doing that. I don't
[20:12] Speaker 3: do so or couples don't do the social I'm like,
[20:15] Speaker 3: I don't like that. I'm not saying I want people
[20:17] Speaker 3: to always post, but like never be seen such spech.
[20:22] Speaker 2: Touch to me.
[20:22] Speaker 3: Why, Like I'm not saying we have to post a
[20:24] Speaker 3: red cape photo every week, but like this is my
[20:27] Speaker 3: husband or my mad or whatever. You know, right, Yeah
[20:29] Speaker 3: that's weird. Yeah I think that's suspect, but teaches them.
[20:32] Speaker 1: But do we discriminate over any sort of job, Like
[20:35] Speaker 1: are we looking for just a normal guy?
[20:37] Speaker 2: Do we do?
[20:39] Speaker 3: I really confuse when it comes to this, Like at
[20:41] Speaker 3: this area in my life, I feel like I'm confused
[20:43] Speaker 3: because I feel like at one point I would have
[20:45] Speaker 3: answered something completely different, like and like when we're talking
[20:48] Speaker 3: about there's an appeal now to like the average guy
[20:51] Speaker 3: talking about like our dads and whatever, really simple guy.
[20:54] Speaker 3: That sounds so great. But in theory that sounds amazing.
[20:57] Speaker 3: But if I actually like got down to it little boring,
[21:00] Speaker 3: I don't know if I'm doing that.
[21:03] Speaker 5: Like the contractor sounds nice because then he gets fixed
[21:05] Speaker 5: it around the house, but then the contract.
[21:06] Speaker 3: Is like he's a contractor, he's a little boring. I know.
[21:09] Speaker 3: But if the personality is a huge thing, So it
[21:11] Speaker 3: depends if they've got high personality and an average job.
[21:15] Speaker 3: What I discovered and dating an age is yes, I
[21:18] Speaker 3: cannot have a dud. I look back on some of
[21:21] Speaker 3: the guys that dated and whether they were hot or
[21:24] Speaker 3: what they did or whatever. I'm just like, oh, yeah,
[21:27] Speaker 3: let's date. Looking back useless.
[21:30] Speaker 2: I know, like you never fun Yeah I was funny? Who?
[21:36] Speaker 2: So I know I.
[21:40] Speaker 3: Need a good personality. I need good banter. That's my
[21:43] Speaker 3: number one. And I think once you have it, you're like, oh,
[21:47] Speaker 3: I need this. I feel like it's like dangerous territory
[21:50] Speaker 3: that we're in now. When you become an independent woman
[21:53] Speaker 3: of a certain age, you're like, I am Gucci, Like like,
[21:57] Speaker 3: I like my life so like to add value to
[22:00] Speaker 3: what I already have existing. It's like a tall order.
[22:03] Speaker 5: I am.
[22:06] Speaker 2: Exactly what you can't come in.
[22:09] Speaker 3: I've got it really good.
[22:10] Speaker 2: I've got it so good.
[22:12] Speaker 1: And my first daughter I had like the normal way,
[22:15] Speaker 1: like meta dude.
[22:16] Speaker 2: She and I share a baby daddy. That's how we
[22:19] Speaker 2: know each other. I don't know if you guys know the.
[22:20] Speaker 1: Backstory when she was talking about being like not like
[22:24] Speaker 1: you reality TV, she was married to this guy and
[22:28] Speaker 1: I was his mistress, and she had found a sex
[22:31] Speaker 1: tape of the two of us, and that's when she
[22:34] Speaker 1: had been confirmed.
[22:35] Speaker 2: And she what, yeah, so that's how we know each other.
[22:39] Speaker 2: And now she's like my dearest affair.
[22:42] Speaker 1: Okay, I love it, but I was so wounded from
[22:45] Speaker 1: that entire situation in the custy battle that my second daughter, Sosa,
[22:49] Speaker 1: was conceived via sperm donor, Like, I just like, found
[22:52] Speaker 1: someone give me the goods, and I don't even know
[22:55] Speaker 1: who he is. So I relate to that. I'm like,
[22:57] Speaker 1: you can't step in here. I don't need kids from you.
[22:59] Speaker 1: I don't mean money for you. I don't need to
[23:01] Speaker 1: get a name off of you.
[23:03] Speaker 2: So like, what are you coming in?
[23:04] Speaker 3: And yes, I know you're taking.
[23:09] Speaker 1: Away from my peace because my house is just so peaceful.
[23:13] Speaker 1: That's a real problem. And I think it does come
[23:15] Speaker 1: with age as well.
[23:16] Speaker 2: We're like when you're.
[23:17] Speaker 3: Young, you're like, you said your.
[23:21] Speaker 1: Like and then you go back and you're like, I
[23:25] Speaker 1: gave you so much of my time.
[23:28] Speaker 4: That's the time.
[23:29] Speaker 3: Time, the time.
[23:30] Speaker 4: And I also don't like sleeping next to someone.
[23:32] Speaker 2: And the older I've got you to I touched a.
[23:36] Speaker 4: Separate bedrooms, they're like, we haven't even slept together.
[23:39] Speaker 1: When I'm like, I don't like it's a deal breaker
[23:44] Speaker 1: for me.
[23:45] Speaker 5: It's I never thought a million years that I would
[23:47] Speaker 5: even consider having separate bedrooms because I just like about
[23:52] Speaker 5: them trying.
[23:53] Speaker 4: To like that's with me.
[23:56] Speaker 2: I wake up and er my.
[23:58] Speaker 3: TV because I'm like, my mind is, yeah, you might
[24:00] Speaker 3: to be able to do your thing like sleeping, and.
[24:05] Speaker 1: My skin's tripping out. I want to be able to
[24:06] Speaker 1: cover myself in like whatever creams and patches. I just
[24:10] Speaker 1: need you away totally.
[24:12] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[24:12] Speaker 6: Yeah, I want to talk about the girls.
[24:24] Speaker 5: Because I'm so excited about Yeah. So now that I'm
[24:28] Speaker 5: a little reality wore, now, so yes, you shot the
[24:32] Speaker 5: first season?
[24:32] Speaker 3: We did almost Oh you're still and your principles done?
[24:38] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[24:38] Speaker 5: Yes, So can you kind of give me the like
[24:41] Speaker 5: the premise in like the high level promoting version, what
[24:45] Speaker 5: you could.
[24:45] Speaker 3: Share after our show? We were traumatized, didn't want to
[24:48] Speaker 3: film a show again, right, and then our fans or
[24:52] Speaker 3: whatever over the years, you guys need to be back
[24:54] Speaker 3: on TV. We're like and just kept happening and kept
[24:57] Speaker 3: like entering our like vortex, and as we were sawing
[25:00] Speaker 3: from the you know, yeah, we were maybe like, oh
[25:04] Speaker 3: we've had a break long enough. We're like, okay, maybe
[25:07] Speaker 3: well yeah, so we started to like entertain the idea
[25:09] Speaker 3: in our brain. But we're like, only if it was
[25:11] Speaker 3: like a production company we could really trust and like
[25:14] Speaker 3: does that even exist? And like you know, we just
[25:16] Speaker 3: were like I don't know, Like only I was more
[25:18] Speaker 3: sticklar than her. She was more like okay, I was
[25:20] Speaker 3: like I really don't like well, I was like, if
[25:23] Speaker 3: we're going to do it again and this is our time,
[25:24] Speaker 3: we got to do it one more time. To be
[25:27] Speaker 3: a production company, like it has to be a network.
[25:29] Speaker 3: I like, it has to be a producer that you know,
[25:32] Speaker 3: the premise of the show, the cast, Like I was
[25:34] Speaker 3: going being pretty like it's not going to happen, because
[25:38] Speaker 3: how the hell is all that going to happen? Yeah,
[25:40] Speaker 3: So we started meeting with like production companies, and you know,
[25:43] Speaker 3: it was the same concept of like just me and
[25:45] Speaker 3: Olivia maybe our family or whatever, and we were like
[25:48] Speaker 3: do we really want to just like do us again?
[25:50] Speaker 3: We're like it's just like didn't feel right, they feel right,
[25:54] Speaker 3: just like a lot of weight on like us just
[25:56] Speaker 3: to be the whole thing, or like too old and
[25:58] Speaker 3: lazy for that well coming off of our family show
[26:04] Speaker 3: the way that it's excasting. Yeah, So during the fires
[26:08] Speaker 3: was a last year whenever that was. We stayed with
[26:10] Speaker 3: our friend Nicole who was on legs with us, and
[26:13] Speaker 3: so we're like, okay, listen, we have this like concept
[26:15] Speaker 3: for a show, like what do you think do you
[26:17] Speaker 3: want to do it again? She was like hell yeah.
[26:19] Speaker 3: And we had some like artistic ideas of how it
[26:21] Speaker 3: would be shot and the music and the type of
[26:24] Speaker 3: cameras we'd used, and we had kind of this whole
[26:26] Speaker 3: little concept and she's like I'm in. We're like okay, fun.
[26:29] Speaker 3: And then we were at was it Chloe's birthday last year?
[26:32] Speaker 3: I think so, yeah, yeah, and all our friends are
[26:36] Speaker 3: there pool party, like Melika and Kadija and Iris, and
[26:40] Speaker 3: we were having some drinks and it's just kind of like, hey,
[26:43] Speaker 3: would you guys want to do something? Just pitch like
[26:46] Speaker 3: what are you thinking?
[26:47] Speaker 5: You know?
[26:47] Speaker 3: And they're like, oh my god. Then they had other
[26:49] Speaker 3: stuff going on too, like I think Iris was for
[26:53] Speaker 3: a different show, and Milika and the Twins said they
[26:56] Speaker 3: had stuff with Beta and another thing with I think
[27:00] Speaker 3: a different network, and so everyone kind of had stuff,
[27:02] Speaker 3: but they were all kind of like feeling the same
[27:03] Speaker 3: way we were feeling. It would just be more fun
[27:05] Speaker 3: to do it together and like and we're like, what
[27:08] Speaker 3: does Chloe wanted like and she was like sitting somewhere
[27:11] Speaker 3: different and then I just like marched over and was like,
[27:13] Speaker 3: so what do you think about this and kind of
[27:15] Speaker 3: picture the same idea and she was like, oh yeah,
[27:18] Speaker 3: and like she called that day that day, and then
[27:21] Speaker 3: all of a sudden things were like super fast tracked. Yeah,
[27:24] Speaker 3: we were shooting The Sizzle within from that day, were
[27:27] Speaker 3: shooting The Sizzle two and a half months later quick,
[27:31] Speaker 3: and then picked up two and a half months after that,
[27:35] Speaker 3: then shooting two in a months and a half months
[27:37] Speaker 3: after that, so we are done shooting from before the
[27:42] Speaker 3: convo we started with Chloe at her house.
[27:48] Speaker 1: Reality, I mean I to have done a few pilots,
[27:53] Speaker 1: and from the time the idea is brought to someone
[27:56] Speaker 1: to their film, it's a lot. I mean, well, congratua
[28:00] Speaker 1: on the green light, but think but I'm like, that
[28:04] Speaker 1: was like a two and a half year or deal.
[28:07] Speaker 2: No, it is.
[28:07] Speaker 3: It can take a long time. So it's just been
[28:09] Speaker 3: shocking and how fast we're like, oh, must take it
[28:12] Speaker 3: as like a good sign or a good omen, like
[28:14] Speaker 3: something we're doing right, because everything was just lying.
[28:18] Speaker 5: It was like when it takes time, and some things
[28:22] Speaker 5: do take time, but it just naturally happens.
[28:24] Speaker 3: In the order.
[28:25] Speaker 5: It seems like it was just like you were all
[28:27] Speaker 5: there for a very specific reason, yeah, birthday party, but
[28:30] Speaker 5: like the universe again had something else planned and you guys,
[28:34] Speaker 5: it just made it happen.
[28:34] Speaker 3: Yeah, and Chloe, so she was so great, So I
[28:37] Speaker 3: ended up how it actually ends up sitting is like
[28:40] Speaker 3: Chloe's really good friends, you know what I mean, kind
[28:43] Speaker 3: of like her in circle in a way, right, So
[28:46] Speaker 3: that's kind of the premise I guess, is the girls,
[28:48] Speaker 3: like that's how we're like introduced the world, you know, Yeah,
[28:51] Speaker 3: because everyone that we mentioned is really good friends with
[28:56] Speaker 3: someone in the family, So that's kind of like ends
[28:58] Speaker 3: up feeling like the inner cer girl of friends, inner
[29:00] Speaker 3: circle of the family. So yeah, I just kind of
[29:06] Speaker 3: I don't know. Yeah, and do you know how many
[29:08] Speaker 3: episodes you have and they're still cutting so they might
[29:12] Speaker 3: be pushed a few more. But yeah, I think it
[29:16] Speaker 3: was six or eight great, But because the turnaround was
[29:19] Speaker 3: so quick too, I don't know if we're going to
[29:21] Speaker 3: land at six or I don't know if we have
[29:22] Speaker 3: enough footage or I think I don't know but yeah, six.
[29:25] Speaker 4: Is even great too. It leaves people wanting so much.
[29:28] Speaker 2: Yes, that's what I've said.
[29:30] Speaker 3: I know, because I'm just like even in Jays we
[29:32] Speaker 3: had like eight and ten and twelve. It's just a
[29:34] Speaker 3: different time too anytime. And also I think it was
[29:37] Speaker 3: the time slot and then I don't know, who knows,
[29:39] Speaker 3: Maybe we got to prove ourselves and we just got
[29:41] Speaker 3: six and what's banging out of the park.
[29:42] Speaker 4: I don't know, but I'm sure it's so good.
[29:45] Speaker 1: I can't even imagine, and I like the idea of
[29:48] Speaker 1: I have to imagine that the drama comes from outside
[29:53] Speaker 1: things and then you guys are there to kind of
[29:55] Speaker 1: pick up the pieces to each other's lives and really
[29:57] Speaker 1: build each other back up. I mean, I'm sure that
[30:00] Speaker 1: there's like the banter and like the fights that just
[30:04] Speaker 1: friends and people who spend a lot of time together.
[30:06] Speaker 2: But again, it goes back to the formula.
[30:08] Speaker 1: And I've told Amber this because I've been trying to
[30:10] Speaker 1: like massage her into doing a reality TV show and
[30:14] Speaker 1: she's like, that sounds fucking awful, and I'm like, no, listen,
[30:18] Speaker 1: don't look at Bravo is like the Ultimately, I'm totally
[30:22] Speaker 1: open to which Bravo.
[30:23] Speaker 2: Is amazing, like they conquered the art of making.
[30:26] Speaker 1: But I think it's scar She's like, oh no, like
[30:29] Speaker 1: you're a hooker on that show, fucking my customers.
[30:31] Speaker 5: Like for my what I would love is like I
[30:39] Speaker 5: would never want anything to come between what we have
[30:42] Speaker 5: built already is so and of course there's many things
[30:45] Speaker 5: in life, like it's a friendship, like even.
[30:47] Speaker 4: Sisterhood or whatever.
[30:48] Speaker 5: There's a many things that we disagree upon, but I
[30:50] Speaker 5: don't want it ever to come in between what we built.
[30:53] Speaker 5: Like for me, that's that's so precious. But I think
[30:56] Speaker 5: the idea of doing it would actually be really fun.
[30:59] Speaker 3: I'm an art it is, like, Yeah.
[31:01] Speaker 5: What I've learned through Low is she's so freaking good
[31:04] Speaker 5: at what she does and like, oh, it's an art,
[31:06] Speaker 5: so like always preconceived notions about what reality TV people
[31:10] Speaker 5: do and how it's just like I mean, I just
[31:13] Speaker 5: come coming from the scripted side of like, oh, movie television,
[31:16] Speaker 5: there's so much.
[31:17] Speaker 2: Work total that comes with it.
[31:19] Speaker 5: Yeah, but I was wrong, Like it really is such
[31:22] Speaker 5: a there is an art to it, and I really
[31:24] Speaker 5: appreciate that now.
[31:25] Speaker 3: So I'm totally and like the thing that, yeah, that
[31:28] Speaker 3: is nice and the thing that we've learned too and
[31:30] Speaker 3: the reason why we like survived it, our relationship survived
[31:33] Speaker 3: it is just like it's like anything else in life,
[31:36] Speaker 3: just like healthy communications. It's just so important.
[31:38] Speaker 2: But like as long as.
[31:39] Speaker 3: The communication is there, then no one's feelings can be hurt.
[31:42] Speaker 3: And I think that's like a dance that we're learning
[31:44] Speaker 3: with like these other girls that we're doing it with too.
[31:47] Speaker 3: It's just like that's how we like move and operate
[31:50] Speaker 3: and just like want to like have it be a
[31:53] Speaker 3: really healthy people. Film differently, I.
[31:57] Speaker 2: Guess everyone films differently.
[31:59] Speaker 1: I just learned I was on a show for it
[32:01] Speaker 1: lasted eleven seasons and I was a part of eight
[32:03] Speaker 1: of those, and now I'm on a new show.
[32:05] Speaker 2: That's kind of like a spin off of that.
[32:08] Speaker 1: And when people ask, you know, like are you did
[32:11] Speaker 1: you enjoy the process, It's like I did, but it
[32:13] Speaker 1: was so different different prior cast just the way that
[32:19] Speaker 1: I'm like, this show is not interesting if we're not
[32:22] Speaker 1: going to have like.
[32:23] Speaker 3: You got to go there.
[32:24] Speaker 1: I love being able because in like real life, I
[32:27] Speaker 1: always say you have to separate reality from reality where
[32:30] Speaker 1: it's like in real life, I'm probably going to pick
[32:31] Speaker 1: my battles right totally when we film. I love being
[32:35] Speaker 1: able to pick every fucking battle.
[32:37] Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what you have to otherwise entertaining.
[32:39] Speaker 2: Right film, are you able to film with her?
[32:42] Speaker 3: So I do film with her, but I don't have
[32:44] Speaker 3: her like in storylines or anything. Okay, you know, like
[32:47] Speaker 3: she's just there, comes in, gives me a hug and
[32:50] Speaker 3: runs off or just something super simple.
[32:52] Speaker 2: Yeah, to let the audience. Mind the audience because.
[32:55] Speaker 3: The other thing too, in my reality, she's with me
[32:58] Speaker 3: all the time. I do everything with her. She comes
[33:00] Speaker 3: with us everywhere, which you don't see that as much
[33:03] Speaker 3: on the show. But I just wanted to still you're
[33:06] Speaker 3: working like this, you're working, you know, like yeah, it's
[33:10] Speaker 3: it's weird because your job is to you know what
[33:12] Speaker 3: I mean, Like I know.
[33:14] Speaker 5: But you've made a decision not to have a part
[33:16] Speaker 5: of any storyline in that.
[33:17] Speaker 3: Yeah now, but you want to still Yeah, because she
[33:19] Speaker 3: gets older. If like she's into that and me and
[33:22] Speaker 3: her dad think that's a good idea, then like great,
[33:24] Speaker 3: but like for now, just like she pops in and
[33:27] Speaker 3: CCPC and people know that's my daughter. I'm not a
[33:29] Speaker 3: bad mom. She's here, yeah, right, Yeah, she's attached to
[33:34] Speaker 3: my hip, so great.
[33:35] Speaker 2: Mom. Yeah.
[33:36] Speaker 1: When I remember when I first became a mom, my
[33:39] Speaker 1: daughter was like three months old and we were filming
[33:41] Speaker 1: vander Pump and there were so many people that would
[33:44] Speaker 1: say to me and another woman who became a mom
[33:46] Speaker 1: at the same time that I did on the show
[33:48] Speaker 1: that we had like chosen to go to a pool
[33:49] Speaker 1: party instead of with her kid.
[33:51] Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm contractually I would like a break. How
[33:58] Speaker 2: about that?
[33:58] Speaker 3: Yeah, just like a couple of.
[34:01] Speaker 2: Do you have a pretty good co parenting relationship?
[34:04] Speaker 3: I honestly, it's a work in progress, but I feel
[34:07] Speaker 3: like it's really positive. It's just something that I feel
[34:11] Speaker 3: like is changing, regularly evolving. But I'm proud of us. Yeah,
[34:16] Speaker 3: I know what I like.
[34:18] Speaker 1: Yeah, because we are hitting the stage of life where
[34:21] Speaker 1: like people who had husbands and families are now separating. Okay,
[34:25] Speaker 1: I left my ex when Ocean was only seven months old.
[34:28] Speaker 1: So she doesn't even like there was a point in
[34:30] Speaker 1: time where she saw a photo.
[34:32] Speaker 2: I thought I had deleted every trace of him. And
[34:34] Speaker 2: she looked at me and she's like, you know my dad.
[34:37] Speaker 2: I was like, I don't know, Yes I do.
[34:42] Speaker 1: But when I have friends who vent about like the
[34:44] Speaker 1: co parenting relationship.
[34:46] Speaker 2: I've realized that it's.
[34:49] Speaker 1: Just a healthy co parenting relationship, Like if it were
[34:51] Speaker 1: if you guys were great, you be together, right, Yeah,
[34:55] Speaker 1: it's ever changing.
[34:57] Speaker 3: I think as long as you know it's hard to do, like,
[34:59] Speaker 3: but I think is as long as you're just honestly
[35:03] Speaker 3: focused on like your child and like their story and
[35:08] Speaker 3: not like interjecting your story into their life story of
[35:11] Speaker 3: their interpretation or their experience with that relationship they have
[35:15] Speaker 3: with their father, you know, and that's like the highest
[35:19] Speaker 3: thing you hold at all times, and like it goes
[35:21] Speaker 3: as best as it can go, you know what I mean.
[35:23] Speaker 7: Yeah, I've been in my era of like you just
[35:36] Speaker 7: go through the like I feel ugly, I look ugly,
[35:38] Speaker 7: I hate my hair.
[35:39] Speaker 2: Just staring at yourself too long.
[35:40] Speaker 1: You want to like hang the face up and get
[35:41] Speaker 1: me one.
[35:42] Speaker 3: You know what I've been doing. Sorry to interrupt you,
[35:44] Speaker 3: but I've been doing is like for about a year now.
[35:46] Speaker 3: I want to do my whole morning and nighttime routine,
[35:49] Speaker 3: my skincare stuff with the lights off. I don't look
[35:51] Speaker 3: in the mirror.
[35:52] Speaker 2: Bitch, I do the fucking same. I you know, you're
[35:56] Speaker 2: like in pitch black.
[35:57] Speaker 3: Yeah almost. It's like, well, it's like see what I'm
[36:00] Speaker 3: grabbing you know what I mean?
[36:02] Speaker 2: You're seeing you back yesterday? I was like, why is
[36:05] Speaker 2: it so bright in here? Do you remember?
[36:06] Speaker 5: Yeah?
[36:07] Speaker 2: Yeah, because I feel like I looked better that way.
[36:09] Speaker 4: Yeah, well we all looked better.
[36:11] Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I'm not having sex with the lights on
[36:14] Speaker 3: crazy like I did when I was like twenty one,
[36:18] Speaker 3: and I'm certainly not drunk enough to do it either. Right.
[36:21] Speaker 1: So you guys have your your hairline Harlock.
[36:25] Speaker 4: Yes.
[36:25] Speaker 3: Our co owners Sarah and Michael, they're amazing. They're Canadian
[36:29] Speaker 3: as well. We met them when we were filming our
[36:31] Speaker 3: show relatively not living Vancouver. They were stylist and they
[36:34] Speaker 3: were so nice and so cool.
[36:36] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[36:36] Speaker 3: Michael owns a slan and Vancouver called Brush and Sarah
[36:40] Speaker 3: is a stylist. She's amazing, And they launched and it
[36:44] Speaker 3: was doing awesome. We love hair extensions. We've been wearing them,
[36:48] Speaker 3: you know, our whole adult life. But they approached us like, hey,
[36:51] Speaker 3: would you guys be interested in you know, joining forces
[36:54] Speaker 3: with us? You know you wear a hair We love
[36:56] Speaker 3: you girls, we love what you're about. And we were
[36:59] Speaker 3: like yeah, yeah, it was like in the infancy stages. Yeah,
[37:04] Speaker 3: when we joined and it seemed like such a good fit.
[37:06] Speaker 3: Everything's ethically sourced, which is very rare for hair extensions.
[37:10] Speaker 3: Like usually they're from overseas. Overseas and someone's like sacrifice
[37:15] Speaker 3: their hair from some religious ritual and the black market
[37:18] Speaker 3: takes them and sells them and white people make a
[37:20] Speaker 3: bunch of money. It's inside I have.
[37:21] Speaker 2: You know, that's like.
[37:24] Speaker 3: Where hair extensions come from. Is that's what's happening, And
[37:26] Speaker 3: that's bad energy on you and hair hold a lot
[37:29] Speaker 3: of energy.
[37:32] Speaker 2: Beging my fucking extensions bad. Yeah, I like that better.
[37:38] Speaker 1: I like that better.
[37:40] Speaker 4: So I have always suffered, like not being able to
[37:42] Speaker 4: grow my hair. I have a lot of hair.
[37:44] Speaker 5: It's just thin me too, so like I have the
[37:46] Speaker 5: longest was like here on the c yeah, and it's.
[37:50] Speaker 3: Like a wispy Can we not try just trim trimming.
[37:57] Speaker 4: The bop and here we are PIXI cut if I
[37:59] Speaker 4: could I recently, like six months ago, you ain't.
[38:06] Speaker 2: Got that Holly Bury face.
[38:11] Speaker 1: I know you know, I love your bone structure more
[38:15] Speaker 1: than anything. I know you're gonna be a bald bitch
[38:17] Speaker 1: and you would still be slapping you actually, you can't
[38:19] Speaker 1: do it.
[38:20] Speaker 3: You got a good john line and.
[38:24] Speaker 4: Geez, yeah, I want to hang up you guys all
[38:27] Speaker 4: the time. No, but I I'm like ready.
[38:30] Speaker 5: She sent me a text the other day She's like, hey,
[38:32] Speaker 5: I was just looking at photos of you, and you
[38:33] Speaker 5: look really fucking hot with your long sensions when.
[38:36] Speaker 2: Everybody does, and you look hot with your bob too.
[38:39] Speaker 4: You did that, but I got stated on like what
[38:42] Speaker 4: I have. So my question is.
[38:46] Speaker 5: Is it my hair is still too short to put
[38:48] Speaker 5: extens No, do you have a person I can go to?
[38:52] Speaker 3: Yes's tying to have mermaid butt? Absolutely, absolutely, I think
[38:58] Speaker 3: would be good. Or if you ever tape ins, I
[39:01] Speaker 3: think tips, I think K tips. I have K tips.
[39:06] Speaker 2: And what is that is that?
[39:07] Speaker 3: Like a tiny little like every little piece is like
[39:11] Speaker 3: bond bonded it right?
[39:13] Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, and it doesn't break your hair.
[39:15] Speaker 3: No, it is honestly almost preserved like fuller.
[39:18] Speaker 1: Really yes, because I only do clippings because.
[39:22] Speaker 3: I clippings aren't like I mean, clippings are okay when
[39:26] Speaker 3: I'm blonde, I don't like to I like to take it,
[39:30] Speaker 3: but when I'm blonde, I don't like too too much,
[39:32] Speaker 3: like I feel like it looks a bit Barbie when
[39:35] Speaker 3: I'm just blonde. When I'm Brenette, I'll do tapes or
[39:39] Speaker 3: k tips, but I'm clipping it right now. You want
[39:43] Speaker 3: to wear it once in a while. Clippings are perfect.
[39:46] Speaker 1: See and I'm not an everyday kind of girl.
[39:49] Speaker 3: But the thing with don't know they're there and we
[39:52] Speaker 3: have different like textures to them. So depending on how
[39:55] Speaker 3: your hair actually air dries, there's it's really great to
[39:58] Speaker 3: get over the shower and you go little kink in
[40:00] Speaker 3: your hair and the extensions a little kink, but it's
[40:06] Speaker 3: long and luscious.
[40:07] Speaker 1: And I don't feel like when you clip your hair
[40:09] Speaker 1: and you become a different person.
[40:11] Speaker 2: Absolutely I would completely.
[40:12] Speaker 1: I can't like your am I I'm like, it's like, yeah.
[40:18] Speaker 2: Without my hair, I'm like a little fucking weirdo. You
[40:23] Speaker 2: don't as much as you think, like what is it
[40:25] Speaker 2: like when the hair is up.
[40:26] Speaker 3: You just like, don't put them super close to the
[40:29] Speaker 3: hairline so you can fully do a snatch pony. You
[40:31] Speaker 3: can do you just like, hey, I also want to
[40:33] Speaker 3: be able to do ponies so they'll go around certain
[40:36] Speaker 3: you know.
[40:37] Speaker 5: Okay, so you guys sell the hair and then you
[40:38] Speaker 5: take them like if I buy the hair from you guys,
[40:41] Speaker 5: and then I take them to your stylist.
[40:43] Speaker 3: Or someone we are commanded to do the install I'm extending.
[40:46] Speaker 2: Sorry.
[40:49] Speaker 1: Did did you find after postpartum your hair was like
[40:52] Speaker 1: super fucked up?
[40:53] Speaker 3: Honestly, I didn't notice the huge differ because I feel
[40:57] Speaker 3: like my hair is already so shitty. I didn't notice
[41:00] Speaker 3: some I didn't. I didn't suffer too much from the
[41:03] Speaker 3: hair thing.
[41:04] Speaker 2: Oh you're so lucky.
[41:05] Speaker 3: You're also a type too, Like we've had friends or
[41:09] Speaker 3: even family that like, what is it like they won't
[41:12] Speaker 3: sacrifice like the integrity, like, oh the health of my hair.
[41:15] Speaker 3: You've always been like make it look hot. Even when
[41:19] Speaker 3: you were like this part of me, you weren't like,
[41:21] Speaker 3: oh let me, you just have the hair, and so
[41:22] Speaker 3: I never noticed. I didn't notice if like it was
[41:25] Speaker 3: shitty or you just always liked And I haven't actually
[41:29] Speaker 3: really curly hair, okay, so like I just have a
[41:32] Speaker 3: lot of hair no matter what's happening. But it does
[41:34] Speaker 3: get wispy and thin, so like when I wear it,
[41:37] Speaker 3: I did straighten it. It is pathetic, thank you, but yeah, both.
[41:41] Speaker 2: The heads of hair sloping.
[41:43] Speaker 5: One last question before we rap because I love all
[41:46] Speaker 5: things like skincare.
[41:47] Speaker 6: I'm like, you know, a skincare for what is like.
[41:50] Speaker 4: One product one treatment. Actually, let's do treatment because I
[41:53] Speaker 4: love drinking.
[41:54] Speaker 2: They both would recommend.
[41:56] Speaker 3: Okay, I've just got this for the first time with
[42:00] Speaker 3: I've been noticing more than ever my crow's feet and
[42:03] Speaker 3: just like the ocular fat going away. So it's the thinnest,
[42:07] Speaker 3: the skin is thinner, and it's just looking more geezery
[42:10] Speaker 3: and whatever. So I go to our girlfriend's seven Keyspom
[42:13] Speaker 3: there's one in Calabasis, one in Glendale, and yeah, it's
[42:16] Speaker 3: called Smooth Eye, and it's essentially just a laser, which
[42:20] Speaker 3: I'm also careful with because I never want to melt fat.
[42:22] Speaker 3: I'm sure we all know. Don't belt fat. That's what
[42:25] Speaker 3: geezes you up. Even more so I made sure, I said,
[42:29] Speaker 3: I'm scared of lasers. Is this gonna like I can't
[42:32] Speaker 3: lose any more fat by my eye? She's like, no,
[42:34] Speaker 3: that only does if you go so high.
[42:36] Speaker 2: Blah blah blah.
[42:36] Speaker 3: I said, okay, I'll trust you. She's like, this is
[42:39] Speaker 3: just gonna downage your skin enough, kind of like a
[42:41] Speaker 3: micro needling. It didn't break skin. You can go that
[42:44] Speaker 3: far if you want, but I had press some stuff
[42:46] Speaker 3: to do, so she's like, let's go a little lighter.
[42:48] Speaker 3: So you're essentially just giving that kind of injury. Yeah,
[42:50] Speaker 3: it puffs up a bit, it builds the collagen, it
[42:53] Speaker 3: tightens it up, and I've loved it so far. Even
[42:56] Speaker 3: Joy today, our makeup artist, she was like, what did
[42:59] Speaker 3: you do it? How long ago? Ah around right before
[43:03] Speaker 3: the Toy Story premiere.
[43:06] Speaker 2: She was like, because she used to do and they
[43:08] Speaker 2: do it under here too because.
[43:10] Speaker 3: Here all in all around, and she was like, what
[43:13] Speaker 3: did you because I said to her she knows my makeparts,
[43:15] Speaker 3: is like, I want to maybe dabble on upper bluffs
[43:18] Speaker 3: at some point a little Yeah, it's starting to come
[43:21] Speaker 3: down here, and she's like, what's going on? I was like,
[43:24] Speaker 3: why did that? Smooth? And she's like, I fully noticed.
[43:26] Speaker 3: That's fully what I said. Okay, I'll take that because
[43:30] Speaker 3: I noticed, But for her to say it was.
[43:31] Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, it's a big deal because they're all.
[43:33] Speaker 2: In your girl.
[43:34] Speaker 3: Yeah, so smooth. And then she did just go over
[43:38] Speaker 3: my skin as well. I've been dealing with some acne
[43:41] Speaker 3: shees and got health blah blah blah. Anyways, she said
[43:44] Speaker 3: just going over your skin too, if you have any
[43:46] Speaker 3: actives that calmed it down, And it totally did. The
[43:48] Speaker 3: next week, I was like, any actives that chilled it out?
[43:50] Speaker 3: So I want to go back and how can I get.
[43:53] Speaker 2: This knew that I am?
[43:55] Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I feel like I used to be really
[44:00] Speaker 3: big like skincare junkie person where it had all the
[44:03] Speaker 3: like serums and all that kind of stuff, and then
[44:05] Speaker 3: a couple of years ago I just was over it
[44:07] Speaker 3: and then I just went to like set a pill
[44:10] Speaker 3: and like just the most basic.
[44:12] Speaker 2: Thing you can think of, totally.
[44:16] Speaker 3: Because I'm naturally very oily and it have been my
[44:19] Speaker 3: whole life, and I think that's it good. It keeps
[44:21] Speaker 3: your skin like youthful. But it just anytime I add
[44:24] Speaker 3: any type of cerum money thing, I get really oily
[44:26] Speaker 3: and yeah, this isn't cute. So I feel like just
[44:29] Speaker 3: doing the absolute basics was where like I landed and
[44:33] Speaker 3: feel good in that space. But for lasers and stuff,
[44:35] Speaker 3: same thing. I don't do a lot of lasers because
[44:38] Speaker 3: I do feel like it I'm scared of fat on
[44:40] Speaker 3: your face and I have a chubb your face, and
[44:42] Speaker 3: I feel like that's what's helped me look you. And
[44:46] Speaker 3: my mom would say that to me when I was younger,
[44:48] Speaker 3: like you're gonna love it one day because she has
[44:49] Speaker 3: to chubb your face too, And I'm like, what, Like
[44:51] Speaker 3: I hate it, But now I'm like, I get it.
[44:53] Speaker 3: I get it. But I do do the BBL facial laser. Yes,
[44:59] Speaker 3: I do that. Yeah, And it's one of like an
[45:01] Speaker 3: older is it's called Sitcon or something as the machine
[45:04] Speaker 3: it might be butchering that. But a lot of places
[45:07] Speaker 3: around here don't carry it because it's they only carry
[45:09] Speaker 3: like trendy.
[45:10] Speaker 2: Stuff, right or whatever. It's old school.
[45:13] Speaker 3: From like ten years ago, and no one really carries it.
[45:16] Speaker 3: So I found one place in La that carries it.
[45:18] Speaker 3: And it's the one laser I've gotten throughout the years
[45:20] Speaker 3: that I love. And it really does like puff up
[45:22] Speaker 3: your skin and it gives you like this really like
[45:26] Speaker 3: radiant glow that I have you notice like instantly and
[45:29] Speaker 3: there's no downtime.
[45:30] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[45:30] Speaker 3: So I'm like, I love that BBO smooth Eye are right?
[45:35] Speaker 3: Those are laser?
[45:35] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[45:36] Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to do the laser because I got
[45:38] Speaker 1: milasmas so badly with Ocean and then even work.
[45:41] Speaker 3: So the BBL has different like settings where you can
[45:44] Speaker 3: do your pigmentation. You can do like for reducing like
[45:48] Speaker 3: collagen production, any sort of like red like blood vegels
[45:53] Speaker 3: or anything red.
[45:55] Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's all.
[45:56] Speaker 3: It won't melt the fat. Okay, that's a thing.
[46:00] Speaker 2: Don't do it. Don't help the fat. It doesn't.
[46:06] Speaker 3: Friends that have done like the best treatments throughout the years,
[46:09] Speaker 3: and like they they look beautiful in their skins like glass,
