[0:02] Speaker 1: Two teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamra Judge.
[0:16] Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome back to another episode of The Twat
[0:18] Speaker 2: Seat with.
[0:19] Speaker 3: Myself, Tamra Judge and Teddy Mellencamp.
[0:22] Speaker 2: Teddy, Today we have an epic guest.
[0:26] Speaker 4: I'm so excited.
[0:27] Speaker 2: Do you know that she has not done one interview
[0:29] Speaker 2: or podcast that I know of since she's left Rhode Island.
[0:34] Speaker 3: This is huge and like, of course, our girl Dolores
[0:37] Speaker 3: got it done for us.
[0:38] Speaker 2: Yes, So today we have Liz McGrath from the Real
[0:41] Speaker 2: House Rice of Rhode Island. As you guys know, she
[0:44] Speaker 2: decided on her own not to come back, and we're
[0:47] Speaker 2: going to get all the dirt. Oh there she is.
[0:50] Speaker 4: I lost me once again.
[0:54] Speaker 2: I lost my last night.
[0:57] Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, you're so pretty, so pretty.
[1:01] Speaker 2: Oh no, you're so pretty. Oh no, we're also were stopping.
[1:05] Speaker 4: We're all so pretty for us.
[1:10] Speaker 2: Okay, there's something I want to get off my chest. Okay, no,
[1:15] Speaker 2: my fake tits are still in my chest. They're doing great.
[1:18] Speaker 2: And so I did press a couple of weeks ago,
[1:23] Speaker 2: and all of a sudden, all these stories came out
[1:25] Speaker 2: that I said that you quit the show because of
[1:27] Speaker 2: social media. And I'm like, I didn't fucking say that.
[1:30] Speaker 2: That's not what I said. That is not what I said.
[1:33] Speaker 2: I go, I don't have any I don't know why
[1:35] Speaker 2: she quit the show. All I said was, yeah, I
[1:37] Speaker 2: talked to her. I know that social media was top
[1:39] Speaker 2: on her.
[1:40] Speaker 3: That was it.
[1:42] Speaker 4: It was.
[1:43] Speaker 5: I think that the flurry of social media hate was more.
[1:50] Speaker 4: Of a by product.
[1:52] Speaker 2: Well it's not easy, you know, it's not easy for me.
[1:56] Speaker 5: The main thing I think was anything that can have
[2:02] Speaker 5: an entire community believe things that are about you that
[2:09] Speaker 5: are so wholly untrue.
[2:13] Speaker 4: That scared the fucking shit out of me.
[2:15] Speaker 3: You know.
[2:15] Speaker 4: The heat, the shrapnel of heat, Yeah, was only.
[2:19] Speaker 5: A byproduct of it, you know, the the notion that, like,
[2:23] Speaker 5: I'm on drugs and believe me, I've seen everyone completely
[2:29] Speaker 5: convinced of it.
[2:32] Speaker 4: Anyone who knows me knows I love.
[2:34] Speaker 5: Anything to do with drugs. So if it could be
[2:38] Speaker 5: that skewed, it just freaked me out.
[2:41] Speaker 6: You know, the heat, and normally they at least wait
[2:44] Speaker 6: to do that to you until the second season.
[2:50] Speaker 4: How could that even how could this even be? How
[2:53] Speaker 4: could this be me?
[2:55] Speaker 3: So?
[2:55] Speaker 5: You know, uh, some people say she didn't like the
[3:00] Speaker 5: era that was shown self awareness. No, I'm very very
[3:05] Speaker 5: self aware that my reactions at times were hot headed
[3:10] Speaker 5: and unhinged.
[3:13] Speaker 4: But how it could go so far into things that were.
[3:18] Speaker 5: So ridiculously false that freaked me out.
[3:23] Speaker 4: That freaked me out.
[3:24] Speaker 2: So was the reason that you didn't come back because
[3:27] Speaker 2: of social media?
[3:30] Speaker 6: No?
[3:30] Speaker 5: I mean I think that that was, you know, when
[3:35] Speaker 5: I saw the way it was portrayed, partly, you know,
[3:40] Speaker 5: because there were so many so convinced of who I am.
[3:48] Speaker 4: I think that it was a bunch of things. It
[3:51] Speaker 4: was a bunch of things. I'm old, I'm older.
[3:55] Speaker 7: I I don't need to do it conversations anymore in
[3:58] Speaker 7: my life.
[4:00] Speaker 5: It didn't really makes sense. I didn't really really what
[4:04] Speaker 5: do you mean you're older? How old do you think
[4:05] Speaker 5: I am?
[4:07] Speaker 4: Well, I think we're a year apart.
[4:09] Speaker 2: All right, I'm probably older than you.
[4:11] Speaker 4: You are, you're a year older than me. You're a
[4:14] Speaker 4: little bit older.
[4:15] Speaker 2: And you know what's so funny is you know, I'll
[4:18] Speaker 2: be fifty nine in September, and I keep telling myself,
[4:22] Speaker 2: am I going to be doing this in my sixties? Like,
[4:25] Speaker 2: isn't there a time where I'm like, let's leave this
[4:28] Speaker 2: behind and that I'm like, no, let's keep going.
[4:31] Speaker 5: Why I have to say something, You've never looked better. Oh,
[4:35] Speaker 5: thank you, And I am thoroughly enjoying you this season.
[4:40] Speaker 2: Thank you.
[4:40] Speaker 5: I just it feels real, it feels light, it feels
[4:47] Speaker 5: I get what happened last season.
[4:49] Speaker 4: I do.
[4:50] Speaker 2: Oh, it's horrible, and I think that it really just
[4:54] Speaker 2: shook me to my core, even like thought like maybe
[4:58] Speaker 2: I should not go back.
[5:00] Speaker 4: I'm glad you did.
[5:02] Speaker 2: Yeah, And that's how I feel about you. I wanted
[5:04] Speaker 2: you to go back because I want the people to
[5:06] Speaker 2: see the other side. I didn't want you to.
[5:09] Speaker 5: End like that.
[5:10] Speaker 6: But in that moment, did you like when you were filming?
[5:15] Speaker 6: Were you hating it or did you like it?
[5:17] Speaker 5: Yeah?
[5:17] Speaker 4: No, I had a I had a feeling.
[5:22] Speaker 5: You know, some might say I'm paranoid, but I had
[5:24] Speaker 5: a feeling that this probably was not going to go
[5:30] Speaker 5: well for me. And you know, what you resist persists naturally.
[5:36] Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm.
[5:37] Speaker 5: Sad that Dolores wasn't able to be there, you know,
[5:41] Speaker 5: I just there are a lot of components to it.
[5:44] Speaker 5: But I'm still so thoroughly grateful for the experience. You know,
[5:49] Speaker 5: I wouldn't treat it. And I know, as hard as
[5:52] Speaker 5: last year was for you, we learned through it, right,
[5:58] Speaker 5: We learned through it.
[5:59] Speaker 2: Yes, we do.
[6:00] Speaker 6: And I know that the hater seem louder than the
[6:03] Speaker 6: people that love you. But I just want you to
[6:05] Speaker 6: know through like to teas in a pod, everybody loves you.
[6:11] Speaker 3: Like they really do. And you've made it.
[6:12] Speaker 6: You made us like for a first season show to
[6:15] Speaker 6: be that good.
[6:17] Speaker 3: That's I mean that us good.
[6:20] Speaker 4: It's good. Right.
[6:22] Speaker 2: Yes, Our producers just text we love you gay icon.
[6:32] Speaker 6: Do you are you close with any of the girls still?
[6:35] Speaker 6: Are you still talking to any of them?
[6:38] Speaker 5: I mean yeah, here and there. But you know, when
[6:41] Speaker 5: you're you're in it, you're in it together. So there's
[6:46] Speaker 5: a bond there because of.
[6:48] Speaker 4: The show on. Not as close as I.
[6:55] Speaker 5: Was when I was going, you know, when we were
[6:58] Speaker 5: I was going to the throes of it.
[7:02] Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, did your husband have Did he like the show?
[7:06] Speaker 2: Was he like, oh my god, you're off?
[7:09] Speaker 4: He thought the show was great.
[7:11] Speaker 3: Oh, he liked it.
[7:13] Speaker 4: He thought the show was great.
[7:14] Speaker 5: He was disappointed for me, obviously, and he's like, yeah, no,
[7:21] Speaker 5: I we spoke about it a lot, and he's like,
[7:27] Speaker 5: you're doing the right thing you're doing the right.
[7:29] Speaker 2: Do you think maybe because I see Rhode Island being
[7:32] Speaker 2: around for a very long time, because it's so boy,
[7:35] Speaker 2: I have no doubt.
[7:36] Speaker 5: I mean, ye're going to do They're going to kill it.
[7:38] Speaker 5: They're going to do just as well, if not better.
[7:41] Speaker 2: Do you think that you might come back in the future,
[7:45] Speaker 2: if the timing's right.
[7:47] Speaker 4: I'm never say never.
[7:50] Speaker 3: Yeah, I did see you though.
[7:54] Speaker 6: You were spotted filming Real Housewives of New Jersey.
[7:58] Speaker 3: Yeah, they're a big difference between the two.
[8:01] Speaker 4: I didn't really. I tried. Is the best.
[8:05] Speaker 5: I could just stay kind of behind the cameras. I
[8:09] Speaker 5: was happy to be there. I didn't Yeah, I didn't
[8:12] Speaker 5: feel the heaviness because it wasn't on me, you know. So,
[8:19] Speaker 5: so you're not having any fomo.
[8:21] Speaker 2: They're filming right now right.
[8:23] Speaker 5: Well, you know, I see them filming and I see
[8:26] Speaker 5: I see the pages that like follow them around, and
[8:30] Speaker 5: it's like, ah, I could have been there, I could
[8:32] Speaker 5: have worn that or you know, but no, not really,
[8:37] Speaker 5: I'm happy for them, Not really. I'm also happy in
[8:42] Speaker 5: my own life right now.
[8:43] Speaker 2: What part of your life do you wish it would
[8:46] Speaker 2: have been shown?
[8:48] Speaker 5: My business, my sales floor, all we do for the community,
[8:54] Speaker 5: my family, trips with my husband, spiritual endeavors, gender reveal, party,
[9:05] Speaker 5: things that really should my life or made me human,
[9:09] Speaker 5: you know, the things that I was so worried about
[9:13] Speaker 5: coming into it, like being so much older than the
[9:15] Speaker 5: rest of the cast.
[9:18] Speaker 2: The Dino of it.
[9:19] Speaker 5: All became my story, and you know that's not my
[9:25] Speaker 5: whole story.
[9:26] Speaker 6: Can you tell us a little bit more about the
[9:28] Speaker 6: Kelsey and Dino story because I needed some more crumbs.
[9:33] Speaker 5: I mean, I don't think there was There wasn't much
[9:36] Speaker 5: to it. It was just we're Rhode Island. We're very small,
[9:40] Speaker 5: so you know, the chances of running into and you know,
[9:45] Speaker 5: having interactions with people are very high.
[9:50] Speaker 4: Wasn't that big of a deal.
[9:52] Speaker 3: And then what were your thoughts on Rula and her husband?
[9:56] Speaker 4: Exactly as you've seen, Those were my thoughts.
[9:59] Speaker 5: I thought that, you know, Rula had the opportunity to
[10:03] Speaker 5: shut it down relatively quickly and didn't because she was
[10:07] Speaker 5: so focused on white knuckling it out.
[10:10] Speaker 4: You know, again, what you resist persists in this world.
[10:15] Speaker 2: So I was so happy at the reunion when you
[10:19] Speaker 2: were vindicated about Rula's husband calling your husband and her
[10:25] Speaker 2: saying that never happened that never happened, and then he
[10:29] Speaker 2: and then he starts talking about it and she's like see,
[10:32] Speaker 2: and then he's like, well, yeah I did.
[10:36] Speaker 4: It's funny because Jerry only told me she had a party.
[10:40] Speaker 5: During the season and I was getting ready. I had
[10:43] Speaker 5: a day that day. I was late, and as I was.
[10:46] Speaker 4: Getting ready, that's when he told me.
[10:49] Speaker 5: He's like, oh, but by the way.
[10:52] Speaker 4: I'm like what you're just telling me? Now? He and
[10:54] Speaker 4: I laughed so hard to like we doubled over. But
[11:02] Speaker 4: it is what it is. Okay again, it's Rhode Island.
[11:04] Speaker 4: It's the chances of something like that not happening. Okay.
[11:09] Speaker 2: Hypothetically speaking, if what happened with you and Joe Ellen
[11:14] Speaker 2: never played out, do you think because you absolute fan
[11:19] Speaker 2: favorite from the beginning, do you think you would have
[11:22] Speaker 2: went back?
[11:24] Speaker 1: No?
[11:25] Speaker 2: Oh, well I.
[11:28] Speaker 4: Think that it was.
[11:33] Speaker 3: How do I put this?
[11:36] Speaker 5: No, I don't think that that was the full that
[11:39] Speaker 5: that was the defining factor in it, really do well.
[11:45] Speaker 2: Dolores did tell me several times during Aaron She says,
[11:50] Speaker 2: you know, I just don't think this is for Liz.
[11:53] Speaker 2: I just don't think like she's enjoying it. I don't
[11:56] Speaker 2: think that she has such a wonderful life and such
[12:01] Speaker 2: a happy life that I don't think this is her thing.
[12:05] Speaker 5: And I do, And I said from the beginning, if
[12:11] Speaker 5: this could be something that showed my organic life authentically,
[12:18] Speaker 5: then I am down.
[12:19] Speaker 4: I am so down because there are so.
[12:22] Speaker 5: Many facets to my life that are amazing, you know,
[12:25] Speaker 5: and that didn't end up being it. And it was
[12:30] Speaker 5: never a case of I needed to be hbiic Queen.
[12:35] Speaker 5: I never wanted that. I just merely wanted to survive.
[12:43] Speaker 6: Do you think, I mean, you brought up a good point,
[12:46] Speaker 6: your authentic life being shown. Of this group of girls,
[12:49] Speaker 6: who do you think is the most authentic and who
[12:52] Speaker 6: do you think is.
[12:52] Speaker 3: The least authentic to what we're watching on the show.
[12:56] Speaker 4: That's a good question, teddy question.
[13:00] Speaker 3: You know, there.
[13:02] Speaker 5: Are facets of everyone's life that is authentic and then
[13:07] Speaker 5: some that were maybe played up or played down.
[13:12] Speaker 2: But do you agree certain people act different on camera
[13:15] Speaker 2: versus off camera always?
[13:18] Speaker 4: Do you agree that? Yeah?
[13:20] Speaker 2: Yeah, but there's some people that I have worked with
[13:24] Speaker 2: that are totally different on camera and that's annoying to me.
[13:31] Speaker 5: Yeah, that happens, and that sometimes can be surprising, especially
[13:37] Speaker 5: season one of you know.
[13:39] Speaker 3: Is that kind of how you feel about Joe Helen.
[13:42] Speaker 3: She's keeping everything PC.
[13:44] Speaker 2: Y'all, but we're gonna pull it out of her one
[13:46] Speaker 2: way or another.
[14:00] Speaker 6: Who do you think you'll miss most from the cast, Dolores?
[14:07] Speaker 2: Well, would you ever go over to New Jersey and
[14:09] Speaker 2: film on that show?
[14:11] Speaker 1: No?
[14:11] Speaker 4: I just I love Rude Island. My heart resides here.
[14:16] Speaker 5: I am such a beautiful place. I love Rude Island.
[14:20] Speaker 5: There's no place I would rather be.
[14:25] Speaker 2: But speaking of being completely different, let's go back to that.
[14:29] Speaker 2: Rosie recently said that you're a completely different person when
[14:32] Speaker 2: the cameras aren't rolling.
[14:35] Speaker 3: I am.
[14:36] Speaker 5: You know, I'm the same. I might be even worse
[14:39] Speaker 5: for when the cameras aren't rolling.
[14:41] Speaker 2: Actually, you respond saying you look forward to the debuwers
[14:46] Speaker 2: get to see the real Rosie.
[14:51] Speaker 5: I thought that it was interesting that, you know, Rosie
[14:56] Speaker 5: got up on her podium and had to decided to
[15:01] Speaker 5: do a dissertation on why I left, when you know,
[15:07] Speaker 5: Rosie had a rosy time of it. So I think
[15:12] Speaker 5: I said before Rosie was the most irritating out of
[15:17] Speaker 5: the cast. I stamp I stand.
[15:20] Speaker 6: By that, and then looking back, like with your own
[15:23] Speaker 6: behaviors and the things that I mean, I look back
[15:26] Speaker 6: at some of the things I did and I'm like,
[15:27] Speaker 6: oh my gosh, how did.
[15:28] Speaker 2: I but me too?
[15:31] Speaker 4: Do you use crunch cringe? I can give you eight
[15:35] Speaker 4: thousand reasons as to why.
[15:38] Speaker 5: They still got it ahead of me and cringe all
[15:42] Speaker 5: the way.
[15:44] Speaker 3: Would you handbuild the homeless situation differently?
[15:47] Speaker 4: Say it again?
[15:48] Speaker 3: Would you have handled the homeless situation differently?
[15:51] Speaker 4: Or when did you shut the fuck up?
[15:55] Speaker 5: See I like you say so you you were like, I, yeah,
[15:59] Speaker 5: I would have see.
[16:01] Speaker 2: I see it, I see it. I see your side
[16:03] Speaker 2: on that, and I see what you were doing. And
[16:06] Speaker 2: it's like if Teddy had to move out of her
[16:08] Speaker 2: house because she's getting divorced what she is, and she's like,
[16:12] Speaker 2: I'm homeless, I'd be like, bitch, you ain't homeless. You're
[16:15] Speaker 2: not homeless. Like just like I've had to, I've gotten
[16:18] Speaker 2: a divorce and went and lived with my parents. Does
[16:21] Speaker 2: that mean I mean I understood what you're saying? And
[16:24] Speaker 2: also it does it's not a good look what I did.
[16:27] Speaker 8: In the moment, and I almost instantly regretted it, and
[16:34] Speaker 8: you know, at the table, instantly apologized because that is.
[16:39] Speaker 4: Not my place.
[16:40] Speaker 5: However you have felt are your feelings. I shouldn't shut
[16:46] Speaker 5: the fuck up. My intentions were good.
[16:49] Speaker 6: It kind of felt like to me, you forgot for
[16:51] Speaker 6: a second you were on camera and you were just
[16:53] Speaker 6: telling your friend like, don't say that, and then it's like, oh,
[16:57] Speaker 6: I I.
[16:58] Speaker 4: Even bought my hands like nah, Like I just wanted
[17:02] Speaker 4: to be like stop, no, don't what are you doing?
[17:06] Speaker 4: But mistake not my place?
[17:10] Speaker 2: You know, Well, that's the nature of the show though.
[17:12] Speaker 2: That's how this show works. You talk about things and
[17:15] Speaker 2: you give your opinion. You're not there to shut the
[17:18] Speaker 2: fuck up. And the good thing about Rhode Island that
[17:21] Speaker 2: I like the most is that you guys have all
[17:23] Speaker 2: known each other for so long that you do have information,
[17:27] Speaker 2: you do have intel. You can't say that's not what happened.
[17:30] Speaker 2: And I didn't think there was anything wrong with it.
[17:32] Speaker 2: I thought that it was blown out of proportion. There
[17:36] Speaker 2: was talk that you felt like you were maybe set
[17:40] Speaker 2: up or ambushed in that re or limo right or
[17:45] Speaker 2: whatever you were in.
[17:49] Speaker 6: You felt like that was definitely they planned that scene prior.
[17:52] Speaker 4: No, it was planned, it was with it was planned,
[17:56] Speaker 4: and you know, it's okay. I think that and maybe
[18:01] Speaker 4: this is why Dolores said it's not for me. I
[18:08] Speaker 4: don't play well on that field.
[18:11] Speaker 3: I just don't well because you're not playing in it.
[18:14] Speaker 6: But like I think it perfectly summed up your feelings
[18:17] Speaker 6: about doing it, when Ashley was going down the slide
[18:21] Speaker 6: and you're like, I am not putting on my bathing
[18:23] Speaker 6: suit and going down the slide right now. Like that
[18:26] Speaker 6: kind of showed like the different places where everybody was.
[18:29] Speaker 4: At, you know.
[18:30] Speaker 5: And then they have like Kelsey saying, what guys would
[18:34] Speaker 5: he want to be with three hot young girls in
[18:38] Speaker 5: bikinis on a water slide, and then they immediately zoom
[18:43] Speaker 5: in on me like the fourth hole, miserable and like
[18:47] Speaker 5: some weird tenn of Southfit that I just I was
[18:51] Speaker 5: like a calamity of errors for me.
[18:54] Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
[18:57] Speaker 6: Also, everybody wants to know what you whispered into Joellen's
[19:02] Speaker 6: ear at Capo.
[19:04] Speaker 4: It's so funny. I have no idea. I have no
[19:07] Speaker 4: idea might have.
[19:08] Speaker 5: I have no idea what I whispered out of ben
[19:10] Speaker 5: just or even did I either whisper anything?
[19:14] Speaker 4: I don't know, I who knows?
[19:16] Speaker 6: I did Joellen really think when you guys were fighting
[19:20] Speaker 6: that she was going to share a sig with you,
[19:24] Speaker 6: because like she like went to go take it out
[19:26] Speaker 6: of your hand, and you're like, uh oh, my cold
[19:29] Speaker 6: dead body is.
[19:30] Speaker 4: So fe I don't know.
[19:33] Speaker 5: I mean, I know that I walked into the day,
[19:37] Speaker 5: even from when I get out of the car going
[19:39] Speaker 5: into John's house. I even said out loud, I'm walking
[19:44] Speaker 5: into the red wedding right now. You know, I walked
[19:48] Speaker 5: into the whole day. Is so apprehensive and not mostly
[19:56] Speaker 5: because you know, I just I knew how it would
[19:59] Speaker 5: have gone. And you know this, I don't know. I
[20:03] Speaker 5: don't Joelle. We've never really shared a cigarette before that, so.
[20:09] Speaker 6: So just assume closeness that we believe to be true
[20:13] Speaker 6: is not actually true.
[20:15] Speaker 3: Like that, because there was a moment I fell for it.
[20:17] Speaker 6: I'm like, they are really close, And why is all
[20:19] Speaker 6: of a sudden list pulling away and pretending she's not
[20:22] Speaker 6: close with her?
[20:23] Speaker 2: Like, I mean, there.
[20:24] Speaker 4: Are facets of Joellen. You know you can't help but love.
[20:28] Speaker 4: She's fucking funny.
[20:30] Speaker 2: She's one of my favorites. She really is.
[20:32] Speaker 5: She met reality is so good. I just prior to filming,
[20:41] Speaker 5: like our relationship was uh brief and turbulent, at best,
[20:48] Speaker 5: but I did there are times when I really liked
[20:52] Speaker 5: I mean, I liked interacting with Joellen. She's charismatic. We
[20:58] Speaker 5: you know, the best friend thing kind of came on
[21:02] Speaker 5: a left field.
[21:03] Speaker 6: For me that it was never did you know any
[21:07] Speaker 6: of these women well other than I mean, like when
[21:13] Speaker 6: you started filming, like day one of filming, other than
[21:16] Speaker 6: like the maybe lunch you guys did before to get
[21:19] Speaker 6: to know each other.
[21:23] Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I've known Alisia again since she was born,
[21:28] Speaker 5: but there's such a large age disparity between us.
[21:33] Speaker 4: Yeah, I didn't know her on the level of bonded friendship, right.
[21:42] Speaker 3: No, that makes sense.
[21:44] Speaker 2: Let's talk about Kelsey a little bit. That's a lot
[21:49] Speaker 2: to unwrap. There was rumors out there that her and
[21:53] Speaker 2: her boyfriend had broken up before the show even started airing,
[21:58] Speaker 2: and I don't know that she actually answered that at
[22:00] Speaker 2: the reunion. I can't remember, But can you speak on
[22:03] Speaker 2: that at all?
[22:08] Speaker 5: I will say that the story you were shown is
[22:14] Speaker 5: basically the truth in the story.
[22:17] Speaker 3: Just a timing of different timing different but true.
[22:21] Speaker 5: Sorry, I mean no, not really, because feelings were there and.
[22:27] Speaker 2: Yeah, whatever, I've actually shocked that he allowed her to
[22:32] Speaker 2: film in the house. But yet his face was blurred
[22:36] Speaker 2: out in every picture.
[22:39] Speaker 3: He probably liked it.
[22:41] Speaker 2: I mean to show his face.
[22:45] Speaker 6: Because he doesn't want to be known. He wants the
[22:48] Speaker 6: inner circle people to know, because.
[22:50] Speaker 4: He didn't want to happen to him.
[22:56] Speaker 2: You know, if you went back, you would have had
[22:58] Speaker 2: an amazing season.
[22:59] Speaker 4: You know, who knows? Who knows?
[23:02] Speaker 5: It's hard, you know, there were so many variables where
[23:06] Speaker 5: I just felt like, you know, maybe if I had
[23:13] Speaker 5: a tight one tight ally or one person willing to
[23:18] Speaker 5: say it really isn't a scary you know, she'd give
[23:22] Speaker 5: her shirt off, the shirt.
[23:24] Speaker 4: Off her back for us, she do anything.
[23:29] Speaker 5: I think that being having such a strong personality, maybe
[23:34] Speaker 5: you know that was just a different plan for me.
[23:36] Speaker 2: Yeah, it's hard. Speaking of me, I'm the same. I'm
[23:40] Speaker 2: a strong personality. But I'll give my shirt off back
[23:43] Speaker 2: to anybody, and even people like to a fault if
[23:46] Speaker 2: they have hurt me, I will still if they need me,
[23:48] Speaker 2: I will be there for them. But you never get
[23:50] Speaker 2: to see that, you know, you don't get to see that.
[23:54] Speaker 5: And like I just to that point, I was never
[23:59] Speaker 5: in did and exposing anyone, calling anyone out shaming, certainly
[24:07] Speaker 5: not slut shaming. Don't want to, you know, it's just
[24:11] Speaker 5: not something I'm interested in my life at this juncture.
[24:17] Speaker 2: Do you think you would go on a show like
[24:20] Speaker 2: Traders if asked? Maybe I think you would be great
[24:25] Speaker 2: on that.
[24:26] Speaker 4: I don't know how well I do.
[24:28] Speaker 2: I think I do Greggs. You are very opinionated and
[24:30] Speaker 2: you will, you know, speak your mind. And it's not
[24:33] Speaker 2: like Housewives. It's not that drama filled let me attack you.
[24:38] Speaker 2: It's I mean, as Dolores probably told you, a pretty
[24:41] Speaker 2: cool experience. Really, I could see you one day.
[24:46] Speaker 4: Maybe you never know.
[24:49] Speaker 6: Were you surprised to see rule of filming?
[24:54] Speaker 4: You know?
[24:55] Speaker 6: Because to us it was kind of like you just
[24:57] Speaker 6: came out of nowhere and then we barely saw.
[25:00] Speaker 5: Filming season two both both. I actually recommended Rula for
[25:08] Speaker 5: season one. You did well, I did, you know. You
[25:12] Speaker 5: go down the list and you think of people you
[25:15] Speaker 5: know who you know that you got to tick so
[25:19] Speaker 5: many boxes, you know what I mean. It's definitely a
[25:22] Speaker 5: formula you can't just and I threw so many out there.
[25:31] Speaker 6: No shocked Holt the way she came out at the
[25:33] Speaker 6: reunion though, like a different person.
[25:36] Speaker 4: Whoa physically and otherwise.
[25:41] Speaker 2: Yes, We've seen this happen before, not to this extent
[25:46] Speaker 2: on Housewives, Shannon Badoor's has been many years. Cheated on
[25:51] Speaker 2: her why they were filming, and it didn't end well.
[25:56] Speaker 2: And I just feel like if Rula stays on this show,
[26:00] Speaker 2: it's not going to end well for her marriage.
[26:05] Speaker 5: I mean, we could make the argument that that that
[26:08] Speaker 5: happens more than.
[26:09] Speaker 3: Not right, I mean, it could also hold it more accountable.
[26:13] Speaker 5: I think that they both really love everything about it
[26:19] Speaker 5: filming on the show.
[26:20] Speaker 4: Yeah, I think they love it, and I think that.
[26:26] Speaker 5: What they want to get out of it supersedes the
[26:30] Speaker 5: negative stuff that happens to be tough.
[26:35] Speaker 2: I mean, I can't even imagine their conversations off camera
[26:38] Speaker 2: watching the show.
[26:40] Speaker 3: Well, I don't think it was a surprise to her.
[26:43] Speaker 4: And they you know, they may not be deep thinkers, really,
[26:50] Speaker 4: they may just.
[26:51] Speaker 6: Like I don't know, Well, clearly, do you think that
[26:59] Speaker 6: Kelsey and Bill are going to make it long term?
[27:01] Speaker 3: Speaking of relationships?
[27:04] Speaker 4: I hope.
[27:05] Speaker 1: So.
[27:05] Speaker 4: I really like Billy. He's a great guy.
[27:07] Speaker 2: I like him too, He's.
[27:09] Speaker 4: A great guys and he adores her. I hope.
[27:13] Speaker 2: So you can tell, you can totally tell. I mean,
[27:15] Speaker 2: he waited around for her for a long time.
[27:18] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[27:19] Speaker 2: Yeah, tell us a little bit about your business, because
[27:22] Speaker 2: you said, you know, we didn't get to see a
[27:24] Speaker 2: whole lot of it. I'm also in the cannabis business,
[27:26] Speaker 2: but in a different area than you are, so you
[27:30] Speaker 2: have Is it the only dispensary in Rhode Island.
[27:35] Speaker 5: No, it's the first, though, and the first of three
[27:39] Speaker 5: that originally got licensed. And I mean we were really, really,
[27:43] Speaker 5: really on the ground floor.
[27:45] Speaker 4: We're on fourteen years now.
[27:48] Speaker 5: Wow, and we've built something pretty amazing and we've helped
[27:54] Speaker 5: a lot of people through that. Yes, and it's yeah,
[27:59] Speaker 5: it's been a process, and it's it's a lie, it's
[28:02] Speaker 5: it's it's my life.
[28:04] Speaker 4: Really.
[28:05] Speaker 2: You were talking with Delores about making a menopause gummy
[28:09] Speaker 2: or whatever it was, and I made it.
[28:13] Speaker 4: And it's incredible. I feel like.
[28:16] Speaker 3: Send it to us. I saw many people.
[28:19] Speaker 4: Would want it after seeing my behavior.
[28:23] Speaker 2: Oh that's not You're too hard on yourself.
[28:28] Speaker 4: This thing is so incredible.
[28:30] Speaker 5: But I have dumped so many things into it that
[28:35] Speaker 5: where I'm at right now is the taste isn't the best.
[28:40] Speaker 2: Which is hard to do with cannabis.
[28:42] Speaker 4: It's so hard to do. And the cannabis.
[28:45] Speaker 5: Commonent components in it are non psychoactive components of the
[28:50] Speaker 5: plant to be able to sell it, you know, across
[28:54] Speaker 5: state borders. But they worked synergistically with other things in it.
[29:01] Speaker 5: Saffron for mood, black cohosh for temperature or regulation. There
[29:08] Speaker 5: are so many things in this that is.
[29:11] Speaker 2: There is there THHC in it as well.
[29:14] Speaker 5: Now, so this CBD, CBG, CBN different components that also work.
[29:23] Speaker 4: So well with other parts of this.
[29:28] Speaker 5: Maybe I put too much in and every time I
[29:32] Speaker 5: go back to the drawing board, I get it.
[29:34] Speaker 4: I'm so excited and it's like battery acid. The taste is.
[29:41] Speaker 7: There's ashual ganda in there, there's lions, mean the fully,
[29:46] Speaker 7: things that are really sorry, things that are really beneficial.
[29:52] Speaker 2: Now, is this something that you can sell online or
[29:54] Speaker 2: just strictly your dispensary.
[29:56] Speaker 5: Since eventually line everywhere and the components come from Hemp.
[30:03] Speaker 4: See that's a female plan.
[30:05] Speaker 2: Yes, so our company is all TC from Hemp. So
[30:09] Speaker 2: we're able to sell online.
[30:12] Speaker 4: Oh that's amazing.
[30:13] Speaker 2: Yeah, except for California just stopped us.
[30:28] Speaker 6: There's one other thing was that I was thinking about that.
[30:32] Speaker 6: You know you're you've you're hard on yourself.
[30:34] Speaker 3: I feel you. I you know, I feel you.
[30:37] Speaker 6: How that can happen, especially watching yourself back on the
[30:40] Speaker 6: first season. But there's something that you did that I
[30:43] Speaker 6: think changed a lot of people's lives in the positive.
[30:46] Speaker 6: And that's when you were at I don't know if
[30:49] Speaker 6: it was dinner or lunch with Rula, and she essentially
[30:52] Speaker 6: didn't said you didn't birth your children, and I think,
[30:57] Speaker 6: you know, like, I have an amazing, amazing stepdaughter that
[31:01] Speaker 6: I met was a baby, like, She's changed my life.
[31:05] Speaker 6: She made me want to have kids, you know, like
[31:07] Speaker 6: more kids, like And when she said that to you,
[31:10] Speaker 6: like and you just handled it with such grace, but
[31:13] Speaker 6: you were like, doesn't make me not a mother?
[31:16] Speaker 3: And I just it like Sudcomb to so many of us.
[31:20] Speaker 5: Yeah, I think that I in the moment, I was
[31:24] Speaker 5: probably tough on Rula, but you know where I stand
[31:28] Speaker 5: on it now is willing to accept she may have
[31:32] Speaker 5: been a bit ignorant on that whole thing. And I
[31:39] Speaker 5: also get what she meant.
[31:41] Speaker 2: You know, it was rude. I'm sorry, it's just rude.
[31:44] Speaker 2: My husband has no biological kids, but he's had my kids.
[31:48] Speaker 2: I mean, my daughter was four and you know it
[31:51] Speaker 2: doesn't make him any less of a dad, no, and
[31:54] Speaker 2: he calls them his kids, and it's all.
[31:58] Speaker 4: At times it can be even more o cult.
[32:01] Speaker 2: Right, oh for sure.
[32:02] Speaker 5: And you know, to hear that it was just like,
[32:05] Speaker 5: you know, it felt someone entitled and somewhat and I
[32:11] Speaker 5: think that it was just on her part, maybe a bit.
[32:19] Speaker 5: She didn't have a bunch of self awareness and that's
[32:24] Speaker 5: reflection there.
[32:24] Speaker 2: And I got to believe, you know, but I gotta
[32:27] Speaker 2: believe after watching she had to feel bad about that
[32:30] Speaker 2: because she is a mother. Yeah, yeah, maybe it's just ignorance,
[32:36] Speaker 2: like you don't in touch.
[32:38] Speaker 4: She's just she's a bit out of touch. And I
[32:43] Speaker 4: like Roula, you know. I mean, even if you do
[32:47] Speaker 4: feel that way, I don't know. Even if I felt
[32:50] Speaker 4: that way, I don't know that i'd come out and
[32:52] Speaker 4: say it to someone.
[32:54] Speaker 2: What do you feel was your happiest moment happiest episod
[33:00] Speaker 2: So the one where you're like, I just love this.
[33:02] Speaker 2: This is like a memory I'll have forever documented.
[33:07] Speaker 4: That's a good question. I don't know. Maybe Jerry and
[33:11] Speaker 4: I on the boat, even though you know.
[33:14] Speaker 5: They've turned it into they had to sell the boat
[33:17] Speaker 5: because the Feds are.
[33:18] Speaker 4: Coming from them.
[33:20] Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't hear that.
[33:21] Speaker 4: Oh, it's every It's.
[33:22] Speaker 5: So ridiculous that that may have been a sweet memory.
[33:29] Speaker 5: We made several that you don't really see. The gender
[33:32] Speaker 5: reveal party was exceptionally.
[33:36] Speaker 2: Special for me. Yeah, how is your grandbaby so amazing?
[33:41] Speaker 4: She's so amazed.
[33:42] Speaker 2: How old is she?
[33:43] Speaker 1: Know?
[33:44] Speaker 4: She's five months?
[33:45] Speaker 2: Oh, that's such a great age. And what's her name?
[33:48] Speaker 4: Milania?
[33:49] Speaker 3: Milania?
[33:50] Speaker 6: Oh?
[33:50] Speaker 3: I love it's. Well, we're excited to also say that
[33:56] Speaker 3: you were.
[33:56] Speaker 6: Going to be recapping Orange County with us this week,
[33:59] Speaker 6: well because the tamer can't recap and Dolores is out
[34:02] Speaker 6: of town.
[34:02] Speaker 2: Are nice to me, be nice to me.
[34:05] Speaker 4: We're excited to do that. So excited to.
[34:10] Speaker 6: Do that was like I never listened and I got
[34:12] Speaker 6: to text you got it wrong, blah blah.
[34:16] Speaker 4: Worry about me. I'm honest, but I'm fair and I
[34:23] Speaker 4: love to root for the underdog. No matter what did
[34:27] Speaker 4: you watch? I don't care what viewers think of I
[34:30] Speaker 4: love that.
[34:30] Speaker 5: Ever.
[34:31] Speaker 2: Did you watch Housewives before you joined the cast of
[34:34] Speaker 2: Rhode Island?
[34:35] Speaker 5: Yeah, hardly missed an episode of a franchise.
[34:38] Speaker 2: Do you have a favorite franchise?
[34:44] Speaker 4: I think i'd like go Jean, New York. I don't
[34:47] Speaker 4: have a favorite. I mean they're also but they all
[34:50] Speaker 4: give different and different.
[34:52] Speaker 5: I mean, you know, certainly, I'll say, because you guys
[34:55] Speaker 5: are the ogs.
[34:56] Speaker 2: We are old bitches is what we are at this point.
[35:00] Speaker 4: I like salt Lake so good, right, Potomac's so good.
[35:05] Speaker 4: They're all so good.
[35:07] Speaker 2: I feel like Salt Lake and Rhode Island really changed
[35:09] Speaker 2: the game and Housewives because they stopped bringing on like
[35:13] Speaker 2: new shows, or they tried to reboot New York a
[35:16] Speaker 2: total reboot and it kind of flopped. Now, yeah, it
[35:19] Speaker 2: took their time to redo it, but you guys showed
[35:21] Speaker 2: that it can happen. They can do it and it
[35:25] Speaker 2: is successful.
[35:27] Speaker 5: Look, Red Island is so original and unique and we
[35:32] Speaker 5: are very specific here that you've not seen anywhere else.
[35:37] Speaker 4: And I mean I think because of that, it can't lose.
[35:41] Speaker 5: You know, we are literally one degree of separation, so
[35:46] Speaker 5: weings like it.
[35:47] Speaker 4: Whether we were.
[35:48] Speaker 5: Close coming in or not. We are a very tight
[35:53] Speaker 5: knit community.
[35:54] Speaker 2: Yeah, you recently told us. I think we learned at
[35:57] Speaker 2: the reunion that your cat passed away. Oh so sad,
[36:02] Speaker 2: So sorry about that. Did you get a new one,
[36:05] Speaker 2: any new pets?
[36:07] Speaker 4: I've not.
[36:08] Speaker 5: In fact, I had two cats, and after gone passed,
[36:14] Speaker 5: the other one wasn't doing so well as well.
[36:22] Speaker 4: You are not gone, Jake. He was. Yeah, he was
[36:27] Speaker 4: always on the bed and Jerry's highly allergic. He's not
[36:30] Speaker 4: two bangles. And I've since had to surrender her and
[36:35] Speaker 4: she's now in a forester home.
[36:38] Speaker 5: But I think that there'll be a day when Gunge
[36:42] Speaker 5: comes back and finds me.
[36:44] Speaker 4: I feel like he's this was his fourth time around
[36:47] Speaker 4: with me.
[36:48] Speaker 5: So yeah, there's there's like grief in that, and I
[36:53] Speaker 5: know it's just a cat, but it's super heavy.
[36:57] Speaker 2: Yeah, well there's also grief that you're not coming back.
[36:59] Speaker 2: I know that you feel a certain way, but I'm
[37:02] Speaker 2: telling you have a lot of fans. People love you,
[37:05] Speaker 2: can't wait to see what you do next.
[37:08] Speaker 4: We love you, I love you guys. Thank you for
[37:12] Speaker 4: having me.
[37:13] Speaker 6: Of course, I'm on a practice.
[37:16] Speaker 4: I'm like on an exile island.
[37:19] Speaker 8: No you're not.
[37:20] Speaker 6: And we'll get right into it when we get into
[37:22] Speaker 6: Orange County, and it'll feel like nothing because you won't
[37:24] Speaker 6: be talking about anything that involves yourself and then you
[37:27] Speaker 6: can just pretend and we zone out.
[37:30] Speaker 4: Yeah, that's much easier.
[37:31] Speaker 2: You could just talk about me. It's okay. I'm used
[37:34] Speaker 2: to have opinions.
[37:35] Speaker 5: I am loving you on this season. It doesn't feel forced,
[37:41] Speaker 5: it feels light. I get what happened last season, the heaviness,
[37:49] Speaker 5: the gravity of what was happening with Teddy and her
[37:52] Speaker 5: being a true blue and then having to go and
[37:56] Speaker 5: deal with this drama with her. It's fucking difficult and
[38:02] Speaker 5: it can bring out shit in you you didn't even.
[38:05] Speaker 4: Know, is it? I get Listen, I get that.
[38:09] Speaker 5: And then having to show up sad, heavy, right and
[38:14] Speaker 5: be a t things in life is that are really
[38:18] Speaker 5: really real and really difficult, and then having to show
[38:22] Speaker 5: up with shit that's like so fucking stupid.
[38:26] Speaker 4: I get it.
[38:27] Speaker 2: Gets like two times in my journey on Housewives, if
[38:32] Speaker 2: this has happened, and that was Teddy, who I love dearly, oh,
[38:37] Speaker 2: and my custody battle that year that I did. My
[38:44] Speaker 2: custody battle was when I was in Bali and my
[38:46] Speaker 2: husband was trying to take my kids away. And it's
[38:49] Speaker 2: so difficult to film when your fucking heart is so broken.
[38:54] Speaker 4: And navigate when you have other heavy things.
[38:58] Speaker 2: I so get that.
[39:00] Speaker 5: And Teddy, let me just say you are a beacon,
[39:05] Speaker 5: my friend, you an icon. There can be nothing more difficult,
[39:12] Speaker 5: nothing well, I mean, you know, other than like losing
[39:15] Speaker 5: a child or something.
[39:16] Speaker 2: But you.
[39:20] Speaker 4: Are so strong and you handle all of this with
[39:24] Speaker 4: such grace, And what could be more important to show?
[39:28] Speaker 4: What journey could be more important to show?
[39:32] Speaker 3: Truly, it's really been the only thing that got me through.
[39:35] Speaker 4: You know, you said last week, but I don't.
[39:38] Speaker 5: It was almost like you felt bad that you don't
[39:40] Speaker 5: feel gratitude.
[39:41] Speaker 4: There are stages to everything, and why should you? You know,
