[0:02] Speaker 1: To teas in a pod.
[0:04] Speaker 2: It's Teddy, Mellencap and Camrad Judge. Hi, guys, welcome to
[0:10] Speaker 2: another episode of The twat Seat. Today we have Kenny Martin. Now,
[0:14] Speaker 2: Kenny Martin is a new cast member on the show
[0:16] Speaker 2: in the city. He's a self made real estate investor,
[0:20] Speaker 2: a venture capitalist. He's got a girlfriend, Whitney, a former model,
[0:23] Speaker 2: and all the things. Guys, let's just bring them in
[0:27] Speaker 2: and we'll talk about it, because, you know what, the
[0:30] Speaker 2: waters are a little murky with Kenny boy, and we
[0:33] Speaker 2: need answers. Hi, Kenny, how are you? I'm good now.
[0:38] Speaker 2: Normally I do my podcast really early in the morning.
[0:41] Speaker 2: Uh huh, So today I'm calling this like happy hour.
[0:45] Speaker 1: Ooh, I love that.
[0:47] Speaker 2: First of all, Kenny, thank you so much for joining
[0:50] Speaker 2: me today. I really appreciate it. I know you're working.
[0:54] Speaker 2: It's later in the day. Probably the last thing you
[0:56] Speaker 2: want to fucking do is sit here and talk to me.
[0:58] Speaker 2: And I'm just kidding.
[1:00] Speaker 1: I would not rather be anywhere else but here.
[1:03] Speaker 2: Oh well, thank you. Well, Kenny, things are a bit murky,
[1:09] Speaker 2: so let's clear some shut up. Okay, before we get
[1:12] Speaker 2: into it more. I want to know when you were
[1:15] Speaker 2: first approached to be on the show. Was there any hesitation.
[1:20] Speaker 1: One thousand percent? Yeah, you know, like you just never know.
[1:25] Speaker 1: You hear things about reality where it's like, you know,
[1:28] Speaker 1: it's it could go one a number of different ways.
[1:34] Speaker 1: So for us, we're like, does this make sense? Do
[1:36] Speaker 1: we need to do this? Like we really sat down
[1:39] Speaker 1: and we're like, what are the kind of pros and
[1:42] Speaker 1: cons of doing a show like this? And at the
[1:45] Speaker 1: end of the day, it was like, it's an opportunity
[1:48] Speaker 1: to do something different that will be really fun, to
[1:51] Speaker 1: do it together and have this experience, do it with
[1:54] Speaker 1: friends Kyle and Gavin, and really like an opportunity to
[1:59] Speaker 1: like build this new community, which I feel like everyone's
[2:02] Speaker 1: looking for in some degrees, like new community and feeling
[2:06] Speaker 1: like you're part of something bigger.
[2:08] Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, I would have to say that you kind
[2:11] Speaker 2: of well, you're kind of made for reality TV.
[2:16] Speaker 1: I don't know if that's a good thing.
[2:18] Speaker 2: It's well, it's probably not kidding. I'm joking. No, I
[2:22] Speaker 2: mean you're you're you got people talking, Yeah, that's for sure.
[2:26] Speaker 2: So now that it's airing, are you happy you did it?
[2:29] Speaker 2: Or you're like what was I thinking?
[2:32] Speaker 1: I think I'm still in kind of like what was
[2:35] Speaker 1: I thinking? Mode? But I think that'll I'm I'm confident
[2:41] Speaker 1: that as people will actually get to know who I
[2:44] Speaker 1: actually am and the real me and the real Whitney
[2:47] Speaker 1: and our real relationship, that that'll change from kind of
[2:51] Speaker 1: like what was I thinking to we're glad we did this.
[2:54] Speaker 2: Yeah, so let's talk about Whitney a little bit. The
[2:57] Speaker 2: episode that aired just recently, there was a little bit
[3:00] Speaker 2: of a game, I would say, of telephone uh huh, right,
[3:03] Speaker 2: going on about Lexi telling Whitney that there was no spark,
[3:07] Speaker 2: and I literally because they did a little flashback, I
[3:10] Speaker 2: replayed it a couple of times and I'm like, is
[3:14] Speaker 2: that did he actually say that? Or because it was
[3:18] Speaker 2: very confusing, what did you actually say to Kyle? Do
[3:24] Speaker 2: you remember?
[3:24] Speaker 1: Because I remember I said a lot of things to Kyle.
[3:28] Speaker 2: About the spark. I'm talking about the.
[3:30] Speaker 1: Spark, specifically about the spark and I and I feel
[3:33] Speaker 1: like next week we're gonna we're gonna explore more of this,
[3:40] Speaker 1: so I don't want to get like too deep into it. Yeah,
[3:43] Speaker 1: what I'll say is that there is a why I
[3:47] Speaker 1: did say that. You know, I'm not sure if in
[3:54] Speaker 1: this moment like I feel this this spark and this
[3:58] Speaker 1: fire or maybe there's some other things at play, and
[4:03] Speaker 1: I think hopefully we'll get into that more and no,
[4:07] Speaker 1: hopefully there'll be some clarity around that. But I will
[4:11] Speaker 1: say when you have a you know, five person game
[4:14] Speaker 1: of telephone or whatever it was, it almost never results
[4:18] Speaker 1: in the original message.
[4:20] Speaker 2: So right, So you originally said sometimes you go in
[4:23] Speaker 2: a relationship, you feel the spark and it's hard to
[4:25] Speaker 2: know if it's the like the person, and I take
[4:27] Speaker 2: it as the person you're going to marry, right, That's
[4:32] Speaker 2: how I That's how I took it. I didn't think
[4:36] Speaker 2: that you said there was no spark between you guys.
[4:39] Speaker 1: I did not say there was zero spark. It was
[4:42] Speaker 1: it was a conversation around do I know right now
[4:46] Speaker 1: that this is my person and that this is going
[4:48] Speaker 1: to last forever? Right? And we had just you know,
[4:52] Speaker 1: we're just moving across the country. We were at that
[4:57] Speaker 1: time very happy where we were and the the decisions
[5:00] Speaker 1: and the steps that we were making. It wasn't about like,
[5:03] Speaker 1: you know, do I love this girl? Are we ecstatic?
[5:07] Speaker 1: Are we happy? It's like it's still tbd on if
[5:11] Speaker 1: this is gonna be a forever thing. And again, I
[5:14] Speaker 1: think there'll be some more context around that as the
[5:19] Speaker 1: season goes on, hopefully.
[5:20] Speaker 2: Well that's not how the game of telephone is being played.
[5:23] Speaker 2: And it went all the way down to Whitney, who
[5:26] Speaker 2: I felt like took it kind of well but then
[5:28] Speaker 2: was like, wow, like this is really what's being said.
[5:33] Speaker 2: I can't even imagine it ends with you guys talking
[5:35] Speaker 2: about it and we don't get to see like the
[5:37] Speaker 2: final conversation and what comes out of it. So I'm
[5:40] Speaker 2: so excited for next week. Obviously, you know there is
[5:44] Speaker 2: a spark. You move Whitney from she was in La
[5:47] Speaker 2: right to New York and you guys are now living together.
[5:52] Speaker 2: Does she have closet space now?
[5:57] Speaker 1: She has cause of space. She definitely has causes space,
[6:00] Speaker 1: and I think in the first episode I was basically like,
[6:03] Speaker 1: I'll let you do your thing with the with the
[6:06] Speaker 1: spare bedroom, so she ended up doing her thing. I'm
[6:11] Speaker 1: not sure. Again, I think there's we explore that a
[6:13] Speaker 1: little bit more on the show, but it was never
[6:17] Speaker 1: a hey, you can't have closet space. It was you
[6:20] Speaker 1: know you saw on this episode, and I don't think
[6:23] Speaker 1: they included it, but I showed up and the first
[6:27] Speaker 1: quote that the lady gave when she was here was like,
[6:30] Speaker 1: twenty five thousand dollars.
[6:32] Speaker 2: To wait, wait, wait to convert a room into a closet.
[6:37] Speaker 1: To redo this whole room. Her and Lexi were cooking
[6:40] Speaker 1: something up in there that.
[6:41] Speaker 2: I was like, Okay, have Whitney called me? Because I
[6:44] Speaker 2: just turned my spare bedroom into a full closet and
[6:48] Speaker 2: I bought everything on Amazon.
[6:50] Speaker 1: Well, I should amazing.
[6:53] Speaker 2: Just walk in. Everything's hanging on the It's amazing. Okay, Okay,
[6:58] Speaker 2: so the spark's still there. Then you guys are still together.
[7:01] Speaker 2: Things are moving along.
[7:03] Speaker 1: We are we are together and as good as we've
[7:06] Speaker 1: we've ever been.
[7:07] Speaker 2: That's so good. Congratulations. I love that for you guys.
[7:17] Speaker 2: Let's talk about Kyle and lover Boy. Now you're an
[7:22] Speaker 2: investor in this business, uh huh?
[7:26] Speaker 1: Yeah, I so. I invested in lover Boy on the
[7:30] Speaker 1: very first raise. It must have been like eight years
[7:32] Speaker 1: ago or something. It was. It was a while ago.
[7:34] Speaker 2: Was there a lot of money?
[7:36] Speaker 1: It was enough? It was enough to matter.
[7:41] Speaker 2: Were you kind of pissed off that he facilitated this conversation?
[7:45] Speaker 1: Yeah, Listen, I feel more for Kyle than I do
[7:48] Speaker 1: for for my my pockets, to be honest, because that
[7:52] Speaker 1: guy has his whole life wrapped up in Lover Boy,
[7:54] Speaker 1: and at one point it was, you know, on paper
[7:57] Speaker 1: and wildly successful business. So to do that round trip
[8:01] Speaker 1: and I'm and to be fighting, you know, to keep
[8:04] Speaker 1: it alive now is a really really tough place to
[8:07] Speaker 1: be well financially and kind of you know, emotionally.
[8:11] Speaker 2: Do you feel like the business is doing better now
[8:13] Speaker 2: that it's been put out there and the fans are
[8:15] Speaker 2: supporting it.
[8:16] Speaker 1: I do think that the fans are supporting it, and
[8:18] Speaker 1: I love that it's definitely seen.
[8:20] Speaker 2: A pop for sure, good good.
[8:22] Speaker 1: Hopefully it's it's enough to kind of get it over
[8:24] Speaker 1: the hump and get it back to where it needs
[8:25] Speaker 1: to be.
[8:26] Speaker 2: So in your meeting with Kyle Well, I would say
[8:30] Speaker 2: in your confessional, you called Kyle a bit of a lush.
[8:36] Speaker 2: Do you take that back now or you stand by
[8:37] Speaker 2: what you say because we've been watching him on Summer
[8:40] Speaker 2: House and you know, a lot has gone down and
[8:43] Speaker 2: we see him slewing his words.
[8:44] Speaker 1: And listen, I think Kyle has a ton of amazing qualities.
[8:51] Speaker 1: I really do. I think he's genuinely a really, really
[8:54] Speaker 1: good person with a big heart, and he's just like
[8:57] Speaker 1: someone that you want to talk to about things because
[8:59] Speaker 1: he's just an oak and book. But at times he
[9:03] Speaker 1: might be, you know, be a little overserved, and I
[9:05] Speaker 1: think he's I think that's something that he is hopefully
[9:10] Speaker 1: working on and we actually talked about in the season.
[9:12] Speaker 1: I don't know if it'll end up kind of making
[9:14] Speaker 1: it into the show, but something we talked about that
[9:19] Speaker 1: I think would be would be good for him to
[9:21] Speaker 1: work on, especially if he's kind of rebranding posts this relationship.
[9:26] Speaker 1: He's you know, you gotta kind of clean some things
[9:29] Speaker 1: up here and there.
[9:30] Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure. I don't know if you've heard this,
[9:32] Speaker 2: but he just came out that Lala Kent. I don't
[9:34] Speaker 2: know if you know who that is. Where Yeah, Okay,
[9:37] Speaker 2: she said that Kyle is a killer in bed Killer.
[9:42] Speaker 2: So she says she doesn't know from her own experience,
[9:45] Speaker 2: but she knows from one of her friends. So we
[9:46] Speaker 2: don't have to worry about Kyle moving on.
[9:49] Speaker 1: Yeah, listen, I think that's a great, a great endorsement
[9:52] Speaker 1: for Kyle.
[9:52] Speaker 2: So exactly, and you know.
[9:55] Speaker 1: Hope that helps them helps some kind of you know,
[9:58] Speaker 1: move on and start dating and stuff a little bit.
[10:00] Speaker 2: Well, you've known Kyle as a married guy and you
[10:03] Speaker 2: know Amanda as well. Were you shocked by all this?
[10:07] Speaker 1: I was not shocked by the relationship not working out,
[10:11] Speaker 1: To be honest, I don't think that Kyle and Amanda,
[10:16] Speaker 1: at least for the last you know, a few years,
[10:18] Speaker 1: have really been on the same page. And that part
[10:22] Speaker 1: of that's Kyle, but I think that it was also
[10:25] Speaker 1: some of that was Amanda and kind of meeting each
[10:27] Speaker 1: other energetically and on a number of different levels.
[10:31] Speaker 2: We'll get into that, but before that, we've seen you
[10:34] Speaker 2: go head to head with Lindsay twice. Now you pointed
[10:39] Speaker 2: out her being a hypocrite about her relationship going after
[10:42] Speaker 2: your relationship. What bugs you about Lindsay? Because she she's
[10:48] Speaker 2: first of all, she's that's mother Hubbard Man. You don't
[10:51] Speaker 2: want to go up against her. She's quick, she's good,
[10:54] Speaker 2: she's reality gold. What about her made you like? Does
[10:59] Speaker 2: she bug you? Is there something there we don't know?
[11:03] Speaker 1: I think Listen, first of all, I don't think there
[11:06] Speaker 1: would be a show without Lindsay Hubbard. I think she's
[11:11] Speaker 1: an og like she is even like when you're around her,
[11:15] Speaker 1: there's a there's an aura like she does her thing.
[11:18] Speaker 1: So I I respect Lindsay tremendously, but on that same
[11:23] Speaker 1: token from day one of cameras up, it was like
[11:27] Speaker 1: she was in our relationship and I know, you know,
[11:30] Speaker 1: they can only put so much into one episode. And
[11:34] Speaker 1: if you know Lindsay Hubbard, that wasn't everything that was.
[11:37] Speaker 1: You know that that went down. So by time we
[11:41] Speaker 1: got to Whitney's Welcome to New York party, you know,
[11:45] Speaker 1: Lindsay had interrogated me thoroughly on my relationship. She had,
[11:49] Speaker 1: you know, tried to hear and some of the girls
[11:52] Speaker 1: tried to interject like some overlap potential between my ex
[11:58] Speaker 1: and Whitney, which married. So it was like completely off
[12:03] Speaker 1: the reservation. They didn't even put it in the show
[12:05] Speaker 1: because it was like just didn't make sense. But it
[12:07] Speaker 1: was like there were these things, and there was like
[12:09] Speaker 1: some drama with Gavin and his exit he was breaking
[12:12] Speaker 1: up with and Lindsay and it was just like it
[12:15] Speaker 1: was it was a lot of early this data points
[12:20] Speaker 1: where I'm like, this isn't this isn't about Whitney or
[12:24] Speaker 1: being a girl's girl. You never even talked to Whitney,
[12:26] Speaker 1: you never asked her what she thinks you've never asked
[12:29] Speaker 1: her to coffee, you've never called her nothing, you know
[12:33] Speaker 1: what I mean. So it became very clear to me
[12:35] Speaker 1: that there was an agenda, and you can respect someone,
[12:41] Speaker 1: but respect your relationship more, and it for me, it
[12:44] Speaker 1: came to a point where I tried to very respectfully,
[12:48] Speaker 1: or at least as respectfully as I could in the moment,
[12:51] Speaker 1: tell her she was being a hypocrite and I didn't
[12:53] Speaker 1: appreciate the way that she was kind of trying to
[12:56] Speaker 1: drag our relationship into a storyline.
[12:59] Speaker 2: Now regret so far getting into it with Lindsay. Do
[13:03] Speaker 2: you wish you would have just stepped back?
[13:07] Speaker 1: It's tricky because you have you seen the episode three, right?
[13:13] Speaker 2: Yes?
[13:14] Speaker 1: I have.
[13:14] Speaker 2: I just watched it.
[13:15] Speaker 1: It's tricky because in that episode there's this brunch where
[13:19] Speaker 1: Lindsay and Danielle make up and they are, you know,
[13:24] Speaker 1: have buried the hatchet. But then we get to brunch
[13:26] Speaker 1: and they's supposed to be like a celebration, and all
[13:29] Speaker 1: of a sudden, it's like five or six people going
[13:33] Speaker 1: in on Danielle at the same time, and Danielle's crying,
[13:37] Speaker 1: and Owen's not there, and I'm sitting next to Danielle,
[13:40] Speaker 1: and it's like, I don't really know that the full story.
[13:45] Speaker 1: I know there was like some sort of OTPHJ like,
[13:50] Speaker 1: but I can't sit here while this girl's crying. Her
[13:53] Speaker 1: man's not here and there's literally seven girls and Kyle
[13:57] Speaker 1: like attacking her.
[13:58] Speaker 2: She's sitting like, why don't I remember that? Was I
[14:01] Speaker 2: not shown? Was it shown?
[14:03] Speaker 1: I don't think everything can make it into.
[14:04] Speaker 2: The okay, because I'm like, I'm not I don't remember that.
[14:08] Speaker 1: No, it's only a uh is it forty five minutes
[14:11] Speaker 1: or an hour?
[14:12] Speaker 2: Forty two minutes? I think forty three minutes.
[14:14] Speaker 1: Yeah, So unfortunately it can't all fit in. But watching
[14:19] Speaker 1: that show that that scene back, I'm cringing because all
[14:22] Speaker 1: of a sudden, it's like it looks like I'm involved
[14:25] Speaker 1: in some girl drama.
[14:27] Speaker 2: Well you were involved in girl drama, Kenny. Okay, So
[14:31] Speaker 2: like you and Lynch in that.
[14:32] Speaker 1: Scenario, you know, I will always be the guy that's
[14:38] Speaker 1: if someone's getting picked on or whatever, I will show
[14:41] Speaker 1: up for the underdog. Maybe I was picked on as
[14:43] Speaker 1: a kid. I don't know. But I can't just sit
[14:47] Speaker 1: there and say nothing when she's going through it.
[14:50] Speaker 2: Now you call Lindsay's friends minions and mean girls. Do
[14:55] Speaker 2: you still think that?
[14:59] Speaker 1: I think in the moment, I you know, I mentioned
[15:02] Speaker 1: Minyon's at Boys' Night, I you know, Nick brought it
[15:06] Speaker 1: up at the brunch. I I wish that they were
[15:12] Speaker 1: more welcoming and receptive to Whitney and welcoming and receptive,
[15:18] Speaker 1: and I wish that they were more welcoming, receptive to
[15:22] Speaker 1: Whitney and weren't kind of all in this kind of
[15:25] Speaker 1: group think mentality. It feels like if one of them
[15:28] Speaker 1: is attacking somebody, then they're all coming after somebody. And
[15:33] Speaker 1: it can be when you see it multiple times, it
[15:38] Speaker 1: becomes a lot. So maybe not the best choice of.
[15:41] Speaker 2: Words, but yeah, because Minny and Mitney, so Lindsey is like,
[15:48] Speaker 2: they're not menyons, they're my friends and they're going to
[15:50] Speaker 2: support me when they're going to support me. So do
[15:53] Speaker 2: you understand that or you're like, Nope, I understand it.
[15:58] Speaker 1: I just think certain times.
[16:00] Speaker 2: Is come on, dig yourself out, Kenny.
[16:06] Speaker 1: With with Lindsay, And I'm just gonna be honest here
[16:10] Speaker 1: with Lindsay in particular, there's repercussions and you kind of
[16:14] Speaker 1: either have to like fall in line or you're gonna kind.
[16:18] Speaker 2: Of well, Lindsay's a very strong personality. You know exactly
[16:26] Speaker 2: where you stand with her. You know when when you
[16:29] Speaker 2: said to her, are you okay? Are you? Are you
[16:33] Speaker 2: on glue? Like you knew that was gonna throw her
[16:36] Speaker 2: over the edge.
[16:38] Speaker 1: At that point, the whole situation that had melted down,
[16:42] Speaker 1: like I was, she was standing and screaming.
[16:45] Speaker 2: You know, we did see her stand up, and I'm like,
[16:49] Speaker 2: oh shit.
[16:50] Speaker 1: I I like Lindsay. I think Lindsay is is deep downside,
[16:56] Speaker 1: there's a good person, and I think she's great for
[16:59] Speaker 1: the show, and I like how she checks people. But
[17:03] Speaker 1: sometimes like she can be overly aggressive about things.
[17:09] Speaker 2: That are you the male version of her?
[17:16] Speaker 1: Good question? I only get aggressive.
[17:19] Speaker 2: Why you hit bump heads like that?
[17:21] Speaker 1: We only butt heads when somebody is really getting attacked
[17:27] Speaker 1: for one reason or another. So, like, I'm not kind
[17:29] Speaker 1: of going out of my way picking fights with Lindsay.
[17:32] Speaker 1: I like Lindsay. I think she's a good person, but
[17:36] Speaker 1: if it's comes down to her kind of treating someone
[17:39] Speaker 1: else poorly, sometimes you have to, you know, speak up.
[17:46] Speaker 2: So Lindsay is being seen on a date with this
[17:50] Speaker 2: guy named Frank Milkman, the Milkman. You know, Frank was
[17:55] Speaker 2: on my show too, was he? Yeah, he was dating
[17:58] Speaker 2: one of the housewives.
[18:00] Speaker 1: Oh interesting, I didn't know that.
[18:02] Speaker 2: So he's like a serial reality star dater.
[18:05] Speaker 1: Okay, I don't.
[18:06] Speaker 2: I'm joking. Do you know him?
[18:08] Speaker 1: I don't know him. I don't. The first time I
[18:11] Speaker 1: ever saw the guy was was at Whitney's Welcome to
[18:13] Speaker 1: New York party. He uh, he was pretty quiet there,
[18:17] Speaker 1: so we didn't really I didn't get much out of it.
[18:27] Speaker 2: So let's go back to your relationship with Whitney. What
[18:30] Speaker 2: is it like for you to watch a relationship on
[18:32] Speaker 2: national television.
[18:34] Speaker 1: It's tough. It's tough now because I think, you know,
[18:38] Speaker 1: the first few episodes, it's been challenging to see and
[18:42] Speaker 1: challenging to see her emotional, and I think there's a
[18:45] Speaker 1: lot of things that still kind of need to be
[18:47] Speaker 1: cleared up about our relationship. So it's listen, I love
[18:52] Speaker 1: seeing her on camera, and I I love seeing this
[18:55] Speaker 1: part of our life on camera, but it's it's challenging
[18:59] Speaker 1: to see that the criticism of me and of our relationship,
[19:03] Speaker 1: and you know, especially after like the first episode kind
[19:07] Speaker 1: of vibe. So it's a little bit of a good
[19:11] Speaker 1: and bad, but I'll take it.
[19:13] Speaker 2: Was it Lexi that said that your relationship was murky?
[19:17] Speaker 1: Uh. She had communicated to Whitney that somebody had told
[19:22] Speaker 1: her that it was murky, that I said it was murky.
[19:25] Speaker 2: Did you say that?
[19:28] Speaker 1: No? Oh, those words never came out of my mouth.
[19:31] Speaker 2: Okay, speaking of relationships, let's move on. We'll leave you
[19:35] Speaker 2: and Whitney alone. By the way, you guys are adorable couple.
[19:37] Speaker 2: I love your apartment.
[19:39] Speaker 1: I love that girl to death, I really do.
[19:42] Speaker 2: She's very, very sweet, very kind. Don't this up, Okay, Kenny.
[19:46] Speaker 1: I most definitely will not.
[19:49] Speaker 2: When you were watching the Demise of Amanda and Kyle,
[19:54] Speaker 2: did you realize it was that bad when you were filming?
[19:59] Speaker 1: Yeah? I think when we were filming there was a
[20:01] Speaker 1: lot of debate around what the path should be. I
[20:07] Speaker 1: was in team take some space, see how you feel.
[20:11] Speaker 1: You might surprise yourself with the fact that you know this,
[20:15] Speaker 1: realizing that this isn't isn't it anymore? Maybe are different
[20:20] Speaker 1: people than what you were ten years ago when you
[20:23] Speaker 1: met so Well.
[20:24] Speaker 2: You had made comments like she was never there, he
[20:27] Speaker 2: would do things she wasn't around. I think that everybody
[20:29] Speaker 2: saw like the demise of it, but we didn't know
[20:33] Speaker 2: the demise of it, you know, the west of it
[20:37] Speaker 2: at all. Did you watch Summerhouse?
[20:40] Speaker 1: Yeah?
[20:41] Speaker 2: You did.
[20:42] Speaker 1: Yeah, So I watched Summerhouse, and I think there's there's
[20:47] Speaker 1: a lot of people in and around that house, and
[20:50] Speaker 1: a lot of those people were in the city when
[20:52] Speaker 1: we were filming, between the cast and crew. So, you know,
[20:57] Speaker 1: I think while I was shocking to kind of hear
[21:01] Speaker 1: about that relationship, I feel like there were people that
[21:05] Speaker 1: were clocking that relationship well before you know, anything was
[21:10] Speaker 1: officially you know, put out in a statement.
[21:13] Speaker 2: Did you watch the reunion?
[21:15] Speaker 1: I did.
[21:16] Speaker 2: What were your thoughts?
[21:18] Speaker 1: Uh, my thoughts were kJ is you know, probably the
[21:23] Speaker 1: most important part of that that reunion. The mental health
[21:27] Speaker 1: is is like so important. And my mother was schizophrenic.
[21:31] Speaker 2: My grandmother was schizophrenic too.
[21:33] Speaker 1: Yeah, it's tough, and when when there's stigma on top
[21:37] Speaker 1: of it, it just it overwhelms people or prevents people
[21:40] Speaker 1: from actually getting the help or the plan that they.
[21:44] Speaker 2: Shout out the kJ Do you think reality TV would
[21:47] Speaker 2: be a good idea for him moving forward?
[21:50] Speaker 1: I do. I do. And again that comes to the
[21:53] Speaker 1: to the stigma and like you know, BPD. I don't
[21:56] Speaker 1: think is necessarily well, I'll refrain from my judgment, but.
[22:05] Speaker 2: The mother and me wants to protect him, and because
[22:08] Speaker 2: the Bravo fans can be so mean, and I'm like, no,
[22:11] Speaker 2: I don't want you to do like I'm hoping everybody's
[22:13] Speaker 2: so super kind to him. Yeah, everything he's going through.
[22:17] Speaker 1: I feel like people love kJ you know what I mean,
[22:19] Speaker 1: and so hopefully he feels that support. But again, I think,
[22:23] Speaker 1: just because he's going through something like this, and someone
[22:25] Speaker 1: else asked me that on the street the other day,
[22:27] Speaker 1: just because he's going through something like this doesn't mean
[22:29] Speaker 1: that he can't be fully functioning and continue.
[22:33] Speaker 2: You know, you're right, You're right. Have you met West.
[22:38] Speaker 1: I've never met West. Oh, actually I met Wes at
[22:41] Speaker 1: a party last last summer briefly.
[22:46] Speaker 2: And what did you think about Wes and Amanda on
[22:49] Speaker 2: the reunion?
[22:55] Speaker 1: I just I don't I don't get it. I don't
[22:58] Speaker 1: get it. I think I don't think that Amanya Amanda
[23:02] Speaker 1: is a bad person or like an evil person. I
[23:05] Speaker 1: just think she made some bad decisions. But you don't
[23:08] Speaker 1: come and say, you know, I understand how I hurt you,
[23:14] Speaker 1: Like I am sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. It's just
[23:18] Speaker 1: the whole approach and tone just feels deaf. I don't know,
[23:23] Speaker 1: something's missing.
[23:24] Speaker 2: Yeah, they both it's like they both took xanax. They
[23:27] Speaker 2: went to the reunion and they just sat there and
[23:28] Speaker 2: they're like tripping, like yeah.
[23:32] Speaker 1: It's like just get through it. As opposed to.
[23:34] Speaker 2: Like no accountability actually.
[23:36] Speaker 1: Trying to be accountable and mend relationships. It doesn't seem
[23:39] Speaker 1: like that's like all right, let's get through this. And
[23:42] Speaker 1: like you know, Gough de.
[23:43] Speaker 2: Grease, well, I would imagine as time goes on on
[23:47] Speaker 2: your show, when you film, this is going to come out.
[23:51] Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, I think there's there's definitely And even the
[23:55] Speaker 1: scene at the beginning of episode three with Kyle Amanda
[24:00] Speaker 1: was like I was like, whoa, this is crazy. I
[24:04] Speaker 1: was shocked. I was turning the volume up, like so,
[24:07] Speaker 1: there's just still so much for us to see as
[24:11] Speaker 1: we like get through the uh, get through the season
[24:15] Speaker 1: and how that relationship unfolds. But I was I think
[24:20] Speaker 1: a lot of people were shocked at how they showed
[24:22] Speaker 1: up to episode one and if it's a three episode
[24:25] Speaker 1: you know reunion, they got yeah.
[24:29] Speaker 2: I know, and you know they're going to sprinkle that
[24:31] Speaker 2: ship throughout the three episodes, so you know, and and
[24:34] Speaker 2: it's to the point now where this is like they
[24:38] Speaker 2: have a name for it. Now, what is it Scamanda
[24:40] Speaker 2: or Commander or something like that, And it's like they
[24:43] Speaker 2: only people only want to watch the reunion because they
[24:46] Speaker 2: want to know about this cheating stuff.
[24:50] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, listen. I think hopefully there's other things in
[24:54] Speaker 1: the reunion, Like you know, there were some other tidbits
[24:57] Speaker 1: with you know, Bailey and Ben and different dynamics, So
[25:03] Speaker 1: hopefully they mix it up and it's not just Scamanda.
[25:09] Speaker 1: But yeah, it's list and I think people are are
[25:12] Speaker 1: super invested in this in this story.
[25:16] Speaker 2: As do you think there's any other relationships on in
[25:20] Speaker 2: the city that you think also might crack under pressure?
[25:24] Speaker 2: Oh okay, you got something to say about that.
[25:30] Speaker 1: Let me see. I don't think so. I think I
[25:37] Speaker 1: think everyone is is pretty sound, be honest, you know
[25:40] Speaker 1: what I mean. Like some people are married, some people
[25:43] Speaker 1: are are newly pregnant.
[25:46] Speaker 2: About Yvonne, she's she's newly pregnant, right.
[25:49] Speaker 1: Yep, newly pregnant.
[25:51] Speaker 2: On the show, she was like I love for two days.
[25:54] Speaker 2: He didn't even always gone.
[25:55] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, they've they've got a really like quirky relationship,
[25:59] Speaker 1: and Yvonne is like awesome. I love her for some
[26:02] Speaker 1: like I don't know what it is about her personality, but.
[26:05] Speaker 2: We love the minions.
[26:06] Speaker 1: I listen when she's not like under Lindsay's spell, then
[26:10] Speaker 1: I think she's awesome.
[26:12] Speaker 2: You think Lindsay has a spell. I just feel like
[26:14] Speaker 2: Lindsay's got some tight knit friends on this show. I
[26:18] Speaker 2: feel like this show might have possibly been, you know,
[26:21] Speaker 2: designed around her in her friend group, and I think
[26:25] Speaker 2: it's great. I think you guys have a great thing going.
[26:28] Speaker 2: I love the show. I love the dynamic between you guys. Honestly,
[26:33] Speaker 2: Summerhouse for me is a little like frat boyish, like
[26:37] Speaker 2: we're gonna party all the time, and I I love
[26:39] Speaker 2: in the city. I'm older, so I'm not gonna say
[26:43] Speaker 2: we don't know how old I am. But I just
[26:45] Speaker 2: like to see like the family part of it and
[26:48] Speaker 2: relationships and having kids and seeing Lindsay with her friends
[26:51] Speaker 2: that have kids that are single moms, you know, like Georgina,
[26:55] Speaker 2: and then Yvonne wanting to get pregnant all these things.
[26:58] Speaker 2: I think this is a great concept. You were on
[27:00] Speaker 2: an amazing show, and you guys will have longevity, that's
[27:03] Speaker 2: for sure. Now, I got to ask you, though, how
[27:08] Speaker 2: are you and Gavin doing, because there was like a
[27:10] Speaker 2: whole little incident at Garrett's that night and you really
[27:13] Speaker 2: felt like your bro wasn't having your back.
[27:16] Speaker 1: Yeah, Listen, I think when you lose a parent and
[27:22] Speaker 1: it's your kind of only parent, especially your mom, you
[27:28] Speaker 1: start to you start to compensate and fill that void
[27:36] Speaker 1: in weird ways. And you know, I was the first
[27:40] Speaker 1: to admit that I wasn't the best version of myself.
[27:43] Speaker 2: When well he referred to you as a boy.
[27:45] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he did. And I was the first admit
[27:48] Speaker 1: I wasn't the best version of myself when I was
[27:50] Speaker 1: going through that. And listen, I've been in an eleven
[27:52] Speaker 1: year relationship, an eight year relationship, and now this relationship
[27:55] Speaker 1: with which, wow, four year relationship before.
[27:58] Speaker 2: You're not really a fun boy.
[28:00] Speaker 1: Listen. It was a really challenging time and I think
[28:04] Speaker 1: I was probably looking for intimacy and validation in the
[28:08] Speaker 1: wrong places. And I'll own that, and I think it's
[28:13] Speaker 1: something that I've learned and grown from. But Gavin, of
[28:16] Speaker 1: all people, saw how challenging that time period was for.
[28:22] Speaker 2: Me, it's kind of a low blow.
[28:25] Speaker 1: So it just I felt like anybody in this world
[28:28] Speaker 1: that could have been like, actually, you know what, he
[28:32] Speaker 1: was going through a lot and flying back and forth
[28:35] Speaker 1: to Michigan every week and here on the weekends, and
[28:36] Speaker 1: it was just he knew what I went through, and
[28:40] Speaker 1: I felt like he could have showed up for me there.
[28:42] Speaker 2: And do you think that he was acting up for
[28:45] Speaker 2: the cameras.
[28:47] Speaker 1: I think that since the cameras have come up, I'm
[28:51] Speaker 1: starting to see some different type of behavior with Gavin
[28:56] Speaker 1: just over the first three episodes, you know what I mean.
[29:01] Speaker 1: And Gavin was in a relationship for a while and
[29:04] Speaker 1: that kind of ended right around the time that Whitney
[29:07] Speaker 1: and I were moving in, and there's just a number
[29:10] Speaker 1: of different dynamics in that romance that I don't know's
[29:16] Speaker 1: it's it's just a different part of Gavin that I've
[29:18] Speaker 1: never ever in our friendship scene.
[29:21] Speaker 2: Well, I look forward to see in the future what
[29:24] Speaker 2: happens between you guys. But in closing, can you tease
[29:28] Speaker 2: anything about this season where we see anything that's going
[29:32] Speaker 2: to shock viewers?
[29:36] Speaker 1: There is a lot more to come in the season,
[29:39] Speaker 1: and I think it was I didn't anticipate that it
[29:43] Speaker 1: would be this emotional. There's a lot of life events,
[29:48] Speaker 1: there's a lot of crazy things that that unfold that
[29:54] Speaker 1: I'm really excited to see on the show.
[29:58] Speaker 2: Me too, I can't wait. Well, thank you Kenny so much.
[30:01] Speaker 2: It was so nice to meet you over Zoom. But
[30:05] Speaker 2: I'm sure I'm going to be meeting you at Bravo
[30:08] Speaker 2: con or whatever it is. And congratulations on the new season.
[30:11] Speaker 2: It's doing amazing. And thank you just for being here.
[30:15] Speaker 1: Thank you so much for having me on. I'm honored.
[30:16] Speaker 1: It's very nice to meet you.
[30:18] Speaker 2: Thank you. Give Whitney my love. I can't wait to
[30:20] Speaker 2: meet her as well. And I hope only the best
[30:23] Speaker 2: for you guys.
[30:24] Speaker 1: I definitely well she's she's hiding a room over here somewhere.
[30:27] Speaker 2: Oh tell her, I said, Hi.
[30:28] Speaker 1: I'll do. Thank you so much, Thank you,
