[0:01] Speaker 1: Welcome to Dirty Rush, The Truth about Sororiti Life with
[0:04] Speaker 1: your hosts me Gia Judice, Daisy.
[0:07] Speaker 2: Kent, and Jennifer Kessler.
[0:11] Speaker 1: Welcome back to another episode of Dirty Rush. I'm Gia Jude,
[0:15] Speaker 1: and today I am joined by Georgia Gay to talk
[0:18] Speaker 1: all about her new Bravo micro drama Campus Confidential Miami.
[0:24] Speaker 3: All right, Georgia, how are you.
[0:27] Speaker 2: I'm so good.
[0:28] Speaker 4: Thank you for having me. I'm so excited to talk
[0:30] Speaker 4: with you today.
[0:31] Speaker 3: It's gonna so am I I was so interested.
[0:33] Speaker 1: I mean I was watching your Peacock series and then
[0:38] Speaker 1: after yours, it even went into another series that was
[0:42] Speaker 1: like the Miami micro Influencers.
[0:45] Speaker 3: So tell me a little bit about that.
[0:46] Speaker 1: Your new Bravo micro drama just came out on Peacock
[0:49] Speaker 1: Campus Confidential Miami.
[0:51] Speaker 3: How are you feeling about it?
[0:53] Speaker 1: How did this opportunity first even come to you?
[0:57] Speaker 2: Yeah, it's been so fun.
[0:58] Speaker 4: It's been a week since it aired, so it's been
[1:00] Speaker 4: exciting to get, you know, all the media from it
[1:04] Speaker 4: and see what people are saying. They first producers first
[1:08] Speaker 4: reached out to me, I think back in September they
[1:11] Speaker 4: had seen one of my parents.
[1:13] Speaker 2: We can vlogs with.
[1:13] Speaker 4: My mom and they were like, oh my gosh, what
[1:15] Speaker 4: is this crazy you Miami life? So they DMed me
[1:19] Speaker 4: and then yeah, we just interviewed from there and now
[1:22] Speaker 4: here we are.
[1:22] Speaker 2: It's been a fun journey.
[1:24] Speaker 3: That's awesome.
[1:25] Speaker 1: Were you nervous at all to share your personal sorority process?
[1:30] Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I definitely was.
[1:32] Speaker 4: I was scared of like feedback, you know from my
[1:35] Speaker 4: ex sorority sisters about you know, sharing my journey. It
[1:40] Speaker 4: was definitely scary, but I feel like having dropped before
[1:45] Speaker 4: I had to talk about everything, it made it a
[1:48] Speaker 4: little bit easier because I already had to go through
[1:50] Speaker 4: the whole you know, being the girl that dropped from
[1:53] Speaker 4: her sorority.
[1:54] Speaker 3: So what was that process like?
[1:57] Speaker 1: Since the microdrama has come out, have you had any
[2:00] Speaker 1: of your ex sorority sisters come at you with their
[2:04] Speaker 1: opinions or even reach out to you since then?
[2:07] Speaker 4: Yeah, there's been a couple of girls who have reached out,
[2:09] Speaker 4: which is so nice, and you know, they've been sweet.
[2:11] Speaker 4: But I mean there's also the other side of it,
[2:13] Speaker 4: where people are mad, people are angry that you know,
[2:16] Speaker 4: I'm kind of talking badly about, you know, my sorority
[2:21] Speaker 4: because my experience, you know, had its downs for sure.
[2:25] Speaker 2: So yeah, there's definitely been some backlash.
[2:28] Speaker 1: And when these girls reached out to you, were they
[2:31] Speaker 1: the same girls that you were in touch with when
[2:34] Speaker 1: you first rushed or were these new girls that you
[2:38] Speaker 1: never really spoke to before.
[2:40] Speaker 4: They were girls that I had been in touch with
[2:42] Speaker 4: during rush, and you know we had like formed friendships
[2:45] Speaker 4: because we were in the sorority.
[2:48] Speaker 2: But yeah, like I kind of talked about.
[2:50] Speaker 4: On campus confidential, you know, my friendships just weren't strong
[2:54] Speaker 4: in my sorority. So yeah, once and I think I
[3:00] Speaker 4: like talked about dropping and stuff. People kind of realized
[3:03] Speaker 4: the experience I was going through. And so then a
[3:06] Speaker 4: few girls reached out and you know gave their condolences
[3:10] Speaker 4: and you know, said they were happy for me and
[3:13] Speaker 4: with my decision.
[3:14] Speaker 2: So yeah, it's been a mix for sure.
[3:17] Speaker 1: So let's rewind back to the beginning. What made you
[3:20] Speaker 1: decide you wanted to attend the University of Miami in
[3:23] Speaker 1: the first place.
[3:24] Speaker 4: Yeah, so originally I was kind of I always knew
[3:27] Speaker 4: I wanted to go out of state, but I was
[3:29] Speaker 4: looking at California schools because Utah and California they're pretty close,
[3:32] Speaker 4: and my older sister had gone to the University of
[3:35] Speaker 4: Santa Barbara and she was also in this already there,
[3:37] Speaker 4: so I was really looking at California, but then kind
[3:40] Speaker 4: of on a whim because of the whole you know,
[3:43] Speaker 4: Alex Earl of it all, and you know you Miami
[3:45] Speaker 4: blowing up on social media, I was like, wait, maybe
[3:48] Speaker 4: you Miami could be.
[3:49] Speaker 2: A fun option.
[3:50] Speaker 4: So I ended up applying and then I got in
[3:53] Speaker 4: and it kind of just felt right. Once I went
[3:56] Speaker 4: through the whole college application process, I was like.
[3:59] Speaker 2: I think you might be the choice.
[4:01] Speaker 1: So yeah, I mean, you Miami looks like a great place,
[4:05] Speaker 1: but I feel like there definitely is a lot of
[4:07] Speaker 1: pressure around it. My youngest sister, Audreana, actually wants to
[4:12] Speaker 1: attend the University of Miami.
[4:14] Speaker 3: She's definitely but.
[4:16] Speaker 1: After watching your microdrama, I'm like, I don't know, but listen,
[4:21] Speaker 1: I think there's definitely a lot of pressure around it.
[4:23] Speaker 1: Even just seeing the way that Alex ear All blew
[4:25] Speaker 1: up just from TikTok going to University of Miami, I
[4:29] Speaker 1: think University of Miami obviously blew up overall, even more
[4:33] Speaker 1: so after that happened with Alex I mean, everyone obviously
[4:37] Speaker 1: knew of University of Miami. Even when I was in
[4:39] Speaker 1: school at Rutgers, I wanted to transfer there.
[4:42] Speaker 3: It just always looked like such.
[4:44] Speaker 1: A fun environment as well as obviously such an amazing school.
[4:47] Speaker 1: So kudos to you for even getting in because it's incredible.
[4:51] Speaker 3: That's also just a big pad on the back.
[4:54] Speaker 1: But overall, she's looking at Florida's schools all over, so
[4:59] Speaker 1: I'm like, I just feel like there's a lot of
[5:02] Speaker 1: pressure there to begin with, Yes.
[5:04] Speaker 4: For sure, And I mean I kind of have talked
[5:07] Speaker 4: about this a little bit, but I feel like even
[5:10] Speaker 4: though my experience was, you know, so tumultuous at the
[5:14] Speaker 4: University of Miami, I feel like I would still recommend
[5:17] Speaker 4: the school because it's just such an incredible college experience.
[5:21] Speaker 4: I mean, you're in the middle of a huge city
[5:24] Speaker 4: like Miami. It's utherly New York City on the water,
[5:28] Speaker 4: and you know, they have the Greek life, but they
[5:30] Speaker 4: have the city life, and you know, there's just so
[5:33] Speaker 4: many aspects to that college.
[5:35] Speaker 2: Plus the academics are amazing.
[5:37] Speaker 4: So yeah, I feel like everyone can have their own experience,
[5:41] Speaker 4: and just because you know, my path was a little different,
[5:44] Speaker 4: I feel like people still have you know, so much
[5:47] Speaker 4: success at that.
[5:48] Speaker 1: School before going through recruitment, were you nervous about how
[5:52] Speaker 1: girls would perceive you with your mom being in the spotlight.
[5:57] Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure, I definitely we was worried.
[6:01] Speaker 2: I was a little hopeful that it.
[6:03] Speaker 4: Would, you know, maybe give me a little bit of
[6:05] Speaker 4: an edge because I knew how rigorous the Greek life
[6:09] Speaker 4: process was at the University of Miami.
[6:10] Speaker 3: And I mean, I'm not gonna lie, and I'm not
[6:12] Speaker 3: gonna say this. I don't know.
[6:15] Speaker 1: I'm gonna say this in the most humbling way possible.
[6:19] Speaker 3: But I feel as though because.
[6:23] Speaker 1: Our moms are on you know, reality TV and on
[6:26] Speaker 1: a huge platform like Bravo, on a huge network like Bravo,
[6:31] Speaker 1: we obviously have a lot of public attention from that.
[6:35] Speaker 1: Especially I know that you were featured on the Real
[6:38] Speaker 1: Hostils of Salt Lake City as well, so your face
[6:41] Speaker 1: was known.
[6:42] Speaker 3: I would think.
[6:42] Speaker 1: That that would help you throughout your sorority recruitment process.
[6:46] Speaker 3: But do you feel like that hurt you in any way?
[6:49] Speaker 4: I feel like it actually helped because I actually found
[6:53] Speaker 4: out after the process that they had actually had a
[6:55] Speaker 4: set list.
[6:56] Speaker 2: And my name was all on the list.
[6:58] Speaker 3: They do.
[6:59] Speaker 1: They do, yeah, and I when you go through the
[7:02] Speaker 1: recruitment process, I was a zeta at Rutgers University. Then
[7:06] Speaker 1: my sophomore year and junior year, I kind of saw
[7:10] Speaker 1: the behind the scenes of the recruitment process, and it's
[7:14] Speaker 1: almost like they are investigating every single potential P and
[7:21] Speaker 1: M that is coming in and so they're really doing
[7:25] Speaker 1: a whole background check on every new member, and it
[7:30] Speaker 1: is kind of a crazy process, but they are basing
[7:34] Speaker 1: you really on and judging you based on your Instagram
[7:38] Speaker 1: and your background and what they.
[7:39] Speaker 3: Know about you. And it can sound a little surface level,
[7:44] Speaker 3: but at first it is.
[7:46] Speaker 1: And then as you go through the recruitment process and
[7:48] Speaker 1: obviously have your rounds, and as you go and meet
[7:51] Speaker 1: with each sorority house, they get to know you better
[7:54] Speaker 1: on a more personal level, and then really you know,
[7:57] Speaker 1: figure out who they want and who they don't want.
[8:00] Speaker 1: But at first it's very surface level and they just
[8:04] Speaker 1: kind of see who they want.
[8:06] Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
[8:06] Speaker 4: I think that's my least favorite part about like the
[8:09] Speaker 4: rush process, is that not everyone gets that like clean slate,
[8:13] Speaker 4: and I just like, luckily I was on the right
[8:15] Speaker 4: side of it, but there's so many girls on the
[8:18] Speaker 4: wrong side of it, and it's just not fair.
[8:20] Speaker 1: You know, No, it's not and it ultimately doesn't give
[8:23] Speaker 1: everyone a fair shot, to be honest with you.
[8:25] Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure.
[8:41] Speaker 1: What surprised you the most about sorority life once you
[8:44] Speaker 1: were actually in it?
[8:46] Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel like kind of the cold tiness of it,
[8:50] Speaker 4: Like it really does feel like, I don't know, like
[8:55] Speaker 4: you kind of get really tied up in the aspect
[8:58] Speaker 4: of like, oh, these are ours and like only us
[9:01] Speaker 4: one hundred girls are like in the PC, and you know,
[9:04] Speaker 4: we're all like tied to this name and you start
[9:07] Speaker 4: like doing we had like baby meetings where we would
[9:10] Speaker 4: you know, kind of like learn the background of the sorority,
[9:13] Speaker 4: and you know, they really tried to get you just
[9:15] Speaker 4: like kind of tied up in the culture. So I
[9:17] Speaker 4: think there's like good aspects of that, for like philanthropy
[9:20] Speaker 4: and that kind of stuff. But also it's just a
[9:23] Speaker 4: little bit interesting to be like, oh, since I'm I
[9:27] Speaker 4: have these letters, like it makes me you know, kind
[9:30] Speaker 4: of the royalty of the school.
[9:31] Speaker 2: It feels weird.
[9:34] Speaker 1: Yeah, And I don't know how it goes at or
[9:36] Speaker 1: how it went at the University of Miami. But once
[9:40] Speaker 1: we you know, were initiated into our sororities.
[9:43] Speaker 3: At Ruckers. It was very much so like we were
[9:48] Speaker 3: all a family in a way. Greek life was.
[9:52] Speaker 1: Very you know, I only saw people that were in
[9:55] Speaker 1: Greek life, but we did mix with other sororities. We
[9:59] Speaker 1: mixed with other fraturn is. I was friends with girls
[10:01] Speaker 1: and other sororities. I think it's also what you make it.
[10:05] Speaker 1: And I know the pressure could seem a little heightened
[10:08] Speaker 1: at first and when you first jaded a sorority, but
[10:13] Speaker 1: I you know, as the years went on, I really
[10:18] Speaker 1: I wasn't like.
[10:19] Speaker 3: Your raw ra sorority girl. I really wasn't.
[10:24] Speaker 1: And you know, freshman year it was fun because it
[10:27] Speaker 1: did give you that, you know, leeway to meet other people.
[10:30] Speaker 1: But then as you go on, you've realized that Greek
[10:33] Speaker 1: life is not everything. And ultimately, if I didn't want
[10:39] Speaker 1: to be in a sorority anymore like my sophomore, junior,
[10:43] Speaker 1: or senior year, I really didn't have to. But of course,
[10:47] Speaker 1: you know, it is, you know a great thing to
[10:50] Speaker 1: really just you know, have in your back pocket. It's
[10:53] Speaker 1: always great to put on your resume and just to
[10:55] Speaker 1: follow with you post college. But ultimately it's not everything, Yeah, totally.
[11:02] Speaker 2: And I had the same experience for a freshman year.
[11:04] Speaker 4: It was just so much fun and it was like
[11:07] Speaker 4: a great way to just have a community of girls
[11:10] Speaker 4: and be like, oh, we're all going to these parties
[11:12] Speaker 4: and like we're all going to these events, and you know,
[11:15] Speaker 4: it was fun to have that you know, kind of
[11:17] Speaker 4: instant friendship at a new school.
[11:20] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[11:20] Speaker 1: If you could change one thing about Greek life culture,
[11:23] Speaker 1: what would it be.
[11:24] Speaker 2: Definitely frat culture.
[11:27] Speaker 4: I just think it completely messes up our society. Like
[11:30] Speaker 4: I could write and I say about this, I just
[11:33] Speaker 4: think it's like the whole hazing.
[11:36] Speaker 2: Process still hasn't been addressed enough.
[11:40] Speaker 4: I mean we've seen documentaries and you know, people kind
[11:44] Speaker 4: of know the truth, but it's still much.
[11:46] Speaker 2: A very like taboo. We don't talk about it topic.
[11:49] Speaker 4: And so I just think there needs to be changes,
[11:51] Speaker 4: like it should be illegal a hazing process.
[11:55] Speaker 3: I couldn't agree with you more.
[11:56] Speaker 1: The things that I remember when I was in school
[12:00] Speaker 1: and just hearing some of the things my friends would
[12:02] Speaker 1: have to do, and it was it was crazy, and
[12:05] Speaker 1: they were all it was. They were always on call,
[12:08] Speaker 1: especially during when they were in their in their hell
[12:12] Speaker 1: week and I was like, that was crazy, But how
[12:17] Speaker 1: have your sorority friendships changed since dropping?
[12:22] Speaker 2: Definitely changed a lot, kind of just non existent, I
[12:28] Speaker 2: would say. I mean, I had a couple of girls
[12:30] Speaker 2: reach out after the show and they were like, you know,
[12:32] Speaker 2: we could always grab coffee, but it's never gonna be
[12:35] Speaker 2: the same type of friendship again, I know for sure.
[12:39] Speaker 2: And I feel like it makes sense.
[12:41] Speaker 4: You know, if you're still in the sorority, you're still
[12:43] Speaker 4: in that mindset, and it's like if someone drops, it's
[12:46] Speaker 4: like what like it feels very out of the ordinary.
[12:49] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[12:50] Speaker 1: So during that micro drama, you had your three friends
[12:54] Speaker 1: that you were kind of talking to, and in the
[12:56] Speaker 1: mix with the one girl was Sienna.
[13:00] Speaker 3: Do you still talk to her?
[13:02] Speaker 2: Yes, I shall talk to Siena. She is so great.
[13:05] Speaker 2: She definitely got the run of you Miami's dark side
[13:10] Speaker 2: of social media.
[13:11] Speaker 4: You know, she got like so much hate for this
[13:14] Speaker 4: drama that went down, and you know, I really felt
[13:16] Speaker 4: for her because I just feel like there shouldn't be
[13:20] Speaker 4: so much like hatred. I feel like college kids can
[13:23] Speaker 4: be like so hateful and I hate that. So, yeah,
[13:26] Speaker 4: we're still friends and I think she's a great girl,
[13:29] Speaker 4: and it was so fun filming with her.
[13:32] Speaker 1: Good while filming the micro drama. Those girls were they
[13:36] Speaker 1: genuinely the closest girls that you fell to at the
[13:39] Speaker 1: University of Miami, do you also feel and did you
[13:42] Speaker 1: bring them into the microdrama?
[13:44] Speaker 2: Yeah, so I brought Sophia into the microdrama.
[13:47] Speaker 4: She's not in a sorority, and we met earlier that year,
[13:50] Speaker 4: and I feel like she was my closest friend at
[13:52] Speaker 4: the university at that time. Siena, we actually hadn't met
[13:56] Speaker 4: since like right before the show, but luckily we clicked
[13:59] Speaker 4: and you know, it worked out great.
[14:01] Speaker 2: But yeah, at that.
[14:02] Speaker 4: Time, I really was just kind of figuring out my
[14:07] Speaker 4: life and wasn't you know, hanging out with a friend
[14:10] Speaker 4: group like every single weekend. So I definitely had more
[14:14] Speaker 4: just like personal friendships versus like my group of.
[14:17] Speaker 1: Girls got it because I was just very interested. If
[14:20] Speaker 1: you also felt like these girls were also just.
[14:25] Speaker 3: You know, kind of hanging around for.
[14:27] Speaker 1: The exposure of the micro drama, And I know that's
[14:30] Speaker 1: such a shitty thing to say about. Unfortunately, being in
[14:33] Speaker 1: the limelight and the spotlight that we are in, we
[14:37] Speaker 1: do have to be very cautious of the people that
[14:39] Speaker 1: we allow into our lives and how vulnerable we are.
[14:42] Speaker 1: And I know it's so you know, I know it's
[14:45] Speaker 1: so like unfair to say that and for us to
[14:48] Speaker 1: have to think like that, But it's something that I
[14:51] Speaker 1: constantly tell my sisters about and it's something that I'm
[14:54] Speaker 1: very cautious about still to this day.
[14:57] Speaker 3: And I you know, I've gone through college.
[14:59] Speaker 1: I'm twenty five now, and it's it's very much so
[15:02] Speaker 1: you know, the people that you let in, you have
[15:04] Speaker 1: to be very guarded because sometimes you don't know what
[15:06] Speaker 1: their intentions are.
[15:08] Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure.
[15:09] Speaker 4: Luckily, I feel like with Sienna we're kind of some
[15:13] Speaker 4: similar in the way that like we both want to
[15:15] Speaker 4: be in the limelight more, you know, So yeah, I
[15:18] Speaker 4: feel like that wasn't an issue for her.
[15:20] Speaker 2: And with Sophia, she.
[15:23] Speaker 4: Kind of veered off the show honestly after like the
[15:26] Speaker 4: first time we filmed, because she kind of wants to
[15:29] Speaker 4: go more like the finance round.
[15:31] Speaker 2: She's like, what are this ruins ruins my chances at
[15:34] Speaker 2: Wall Street?
[15:34] Speaker 4: I'm like, well, okay, but yeah, she actually didn't want
[15:37] Speaker 4: to film after the first episode, which I made a
[15:41] Speaker 4: little hard because I was like, might.
[15:43] Speaker 2: Sposed to have been with that.
[15:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, well, listen, you have to respect the grind. I
[15:49] Speaker 1: understand that because my sister Gabriella is, you know, venturing
[15:53] Speaker 1: into that.
[15:54] Speaker 3: Field, so you have to respect it. Do you feel
[15:57] Speaker 3: like being an influencer has ever hurt your friendship?
[16:00] Speaker 4: Ye? I feel like it's made tension in friendships because
[16:07] Speaker 4: I don't know, like some people don't want to put
[16:10] Speaker 4: themselves out there, so then when they see you putting
[16:12] Speaker 4: yourself out there, they're like, oh, like they feel a
[16:15] Speaker 4: little bit I don't know, maybe like jealous of it,
[16:17] Speaker 4: or like they feel less confident, and so it kind
[16:21] Speaker 4: of adds a little bit of tension. They're like, why
[16:23] Speaker 4: are you filming a TikTok right now? Like we're just
[16:26] Speaker 4: hanging out. But yeah, other than that, I feel like,
[16:30] Speaker 4: now I'm trying to align myself more with friendships with
[16:33] Speaker 4: people who kind of see life in the same way
[16:35] Speaker 4: I do and kind of, you know, want more for themselves,
[16:38] Speaker 4: want bigger things for themselves, so they're you know, kind
[16:42] Speaker 4: of headed in the same direction.
[16:59] Speaker 1: You talked about things being written about you on yik
[17:01] Speaker 1: yak after you dropped what's the wildest rumor you saw
[17:05] Speaker 1: about yourself?
[17:07] Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, oh there's Oh.
[17:11] Speaker 4: I just read this thing the other day and it
[17:13] Speaker 4: was like Georgia wants to have like different friends for
[17:18] Speaker 4: tokens for her social media, like people of like different backgrounds,
[17:22] Speaker 4: and like that is literally the wildest, most out of
[17:25] Speaker 4: pocket thing I've heard, uh, and it just like it
[17:28] Speaker 4: makes me so angry because, like, I think that was
[17:30] Speaker 4: the first time I realized people can literally just put
[17:32] Speaker 4: out like whatever they want and it can have like
[17:35] Speaker 4: no merit and they just run with it. So I
[17:38] Speaker 4: think that was kind of a wake up call that
[17:40] Speaker 4: like pure lies can just be sat on social media,
[17:43] Speaker 4: and you know, as long as you know who you are,
[17:47] Speaker 4: there's no need to you know, have to feel like
[17:50] Speaker 4: you have to defend yourself till you're blue in the face.
[17:53] Speaker 3: Absolutely not.
[17:54] Speaker 1: People will put out things in the press on social media,
[17:57] Speaker 1: all of it, and ninety percent of the time it
[17:59] Speaker 1: is a lie, So don't let anything affect you.
[18:03] Speaker 3: I remember yet Yack in college.
[18:05] Speaker 1: It was I honestly thought it was comical and I
[18:07] Speaker 1: can't believe they still use it today.
[18:11] Speaker 4: Embarrassing, and like I would feel like embarrassment anytime. I
[18:16] Speaker 4: like that curiosity got to me and like, Okay, I'll
[18:18] Speaker 4: redownload it and like see what they say.
[18:19] Speaker 2: But I'm like, no, just keep it down.
[18:21] Speaker 1: Just keep it deleted. I mean, it's a pointless app anyway.
[18:27] Speaker 1: Do you think your priorities today are different than when
[18:30] Speaker 1: they were freshman year?
[18:32] Speaker 2: All one thousand percent? Oh my gosh.
[18:34] Speaker 4: My priorities freshman year were just like party, party, party,
[18:37] Speaker 4: have as much fun as possible, lived.
[18:39] Speaker 2: For the plot.
[18:40] Speaker 4: And I love that I had so many amazing memories
[18:43] Speaker 4: and such an incredible time. I feel like now I
[18:46] Speaker 4: kind of got that wild part out of my system
[18:50] Speaker 4: and I kind of want to, you know, be more
[18:53] Speaker 4: grounded in my life and kind of put like career
[18:58] Speaker 4: stuff first.
[19:00] Speaker 1: My mom didn't get this already experience at college in Utah.
[19:03] Speaker 3: Did she push you to rush because of that?
[19:07] Speaker 2: No, I honestly just wanted to rush.
[19:10] Speaker 4: I was really excited we rush in spring at the
[19:12] Speaker 4: Universe of Miami, so it was kind of something that
[19:15] Speaker 4: was talked about like all throughout fall semester. Yeah, so yeah,
[19:19] Speaker 4: she didn't really have much of an input. I think
[19:22] Speaker 4: she was excited for me to rush and my older
[19:25] Speaker 4: sister rud rush, so that was kind of another inspo.
[19:28] Speaker 4: But yeah, I think I was just excited for the process,
[19:31] Speaker 4: Like I wanted to get my fun outfits. I wanted
[19:34] Speaker 4: to you know, be on rush talk and like see
[19:37] Speaker 4: the whole experience.
[19:38] Speaker 1: So yeah, during Rush, did people recognize you for being
[19:43] Speaker 1: Heather's daughter? I know we kind of talked about that.
[19:45] Speaker 1: It was, you know, definitely used to your advantage a
[19:48] Speaker 1: little bit. But did people ever mention that to you
[19:50] Speaker 1: during the rush process?
[19:52] Speaker 4: No, they definitely avoided it during the rush process.
[19:56] Speaker 3: Good they did their job.
[19:58] Speaker 2: Yeah, they did their daughter, So no, they never they
[20:01] Speaker 2: never brought it up.
[20:02] Speaker 1: Did you want to go to school in Miami to
[20:04] Speaker 1: get away from Utah? Or like what was your I
[20:07] Speaker 1: know you said you always wanted to be out of state,
[20:10] Speaker 1: but what was really the reason for it?
[20:12] Speaker 3: Was it because of Utah?
[20:13] Speaker 1: Was it because of you know, your mom being well
[20:16] Speaker 1: known in the real house as a Salt Lake city
[20:18] Speaker 1: What was really your mindset?
[20:19] Speaker 3: Or did you just want to experience and go far?
[20:23] Speaker 2: Yeah? I think a little bit of everything.
[20:25] Speaker 4: I really just wanted to get out of Utah and
[20:29] Speaker 4: like have a new experience and live in a new city.
[20:31] Speaker 4: And I really wanted just like that epitome college experience,
[20:36] Speaker 4: and I knew I wouldn't get that staying in Utah
[20:39] Speaker 4: because you know, I would still be in the bubble
[20:41] Speaker 4: of the same people, and I wanted to break out
[20:44] Speaker 4: of that and have like a fresh.
[20:47] Speaker 2: Big start.
[20:48] Speaker 3: I love that.
[20:49] Speaker 1: As you mentioned, your sister Ashley was an Alpha fie
[20:52] Speaker 1: at Santa Barbara. Did she have a positive sorority experience
[20:55] Speaker 1: or was it anything similar to yours?
[20:58] Speaker 2: Yeah, she actually loved her for all four years she
[21:02] Speaker 2: was I think she was on the leadership team or
[21:05] Speaker 2: something in that category. She loved Alpha fy and she
[21:08] Speaker 2: met some of like the funnest girls, and they, you know,
[21:11] Speaker 2: would all stay in the same houses and she lived
[21:13] Speaker 2: on the water.
[21:14] Speaker 4: It was really fun, and it was fun for me
[21:16] Speaker 4: to kind of see her experience and get excited for
[21:20] Speaker 4: my own.
[21:21] Speaker 1: How did you support you during your own experience and
[21:23] Speaker 1: as you were kind of going through that hard time
[21:26] Speaker 1: at Miami.
[21:28] Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel like, you know, we were in different.
[21:32] Speaker 2: States, so we would just FaceTime and text and she
[21:35] Speaker 2: was always there for me. But yeah, I think it
[21:39] Speaker 2: was hard to understand the just like the culture at.
[21:44] Speaker 4: The Miami and just how I don't know, it's just
[21:48] Speaker 4: so specific and so like when you're in the culture
[21:51] Speaker 4: you just feel like that's all there is.
[21:53] Speaker 2: And yeah, girls can be mean, so it's hard.
[21:56] Speaker 3: That is true.
[21:57] Speaker 1: Girls can be me and your baby's mister Annabelle. Did
[22:01] Speaker 1: she rush?
[22:02] Speaker 2: Yeah? So she goes to Tampa just like and she's
[22:08] Speaker 2: in Kappa Alpha Theta.
[22:11] Speaker 1: Okay, awesome. Has she ever ran into Malaney on campus?
[22:16] Speaker 2: I don't think she has what I keep telling her
[22:18] Speaker 2: she needs to.
[22:19] Speaker 3: I'm like, that's so cute. What year is she? Is
[22:23] Speaker 3: she a freshman?
[22:24] Speaker 2: Yeah, she'll be a sofhore starting Okay.
[22:27] Speaker 1: Yeah, amazing. So what's next for you? Would you like
[22:32] Speaker 1: to be on another show?
[22:33] Speaker 3: Like next? Jen?
[22:34] Speaker 1: Are you pursuing your influencer career? And whatever happened to
[22:38] Speaker 1: that real estate job that you got out in Miami,
[22:41] Speaker 1: that real estate marketing job both the content creation job.
[22:46] Speaker 4: Yes, the real estate marketing was super fun. I think
[22:49] Speaker 4: it was more for the time though, Like I loved it,
[22:52] Speaker 4: but not something I would stay in Miami for you now, I.
[22:55] Speaker 2: Feel like that's decision to stay just for that.
[22:59] Speaker 4: But yeah, next for me, I'm moving to Cali, So
[23:03] Speaker 4: I'm so excited about that. And yeah, I just kind
[23:06] Speaker 4: of want to explore the entertainments here as much as
[23:10] Speaker 4: I can. You know, audition for things, maybe be on
[23:13] Speaker 4: a next gen LA sort of thing, could be super fun.
[23:18] Speaker 4: But yeah, just see what opportunities arise. And I'm honestly
[23:22] Speaker 4: flying by the seat of my fans and seeing you
