The “In The City” reunion brought out Amanda’s soft side… kinda. Was the idea to do her own glam & styling yay or nay? Are we actually starting to LIKE her?! Now that the news is out, Tamra reveals that Salley also told her about Kyle’s skills in bed. What did she say?! Plus, Tamra’s starting to feel bad for Whitney, but Teddi can’t empathize. Did Kenny’s closing line sound a little rehearsed to you too? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

[0:02] Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod which Teddy Mellencamp and Camra Judge.
[0:09] Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of to Teas and
[0:12] Speaker 2: a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and.
[0:14] Speaker 1: Tam Rid Judge.
[0:16] Speaker 2: Hi. Hi, So we're doing a little in the City
[0:20] Speaker 2: Reunion Part one.
[0:22] Speaker 1: Why do you think the reunion was at the clubhouse?
[0:24] Speaker 2: Do you think it honestly made me laugh?
[0:27] Speaker 1: Well? I think it's because they just came off of
[0:29] Speaker 1: like a really big reunion for a Summerhouse. Yeah, and
[0:36] Speaker 1: I don't know. I didn't hate it though.
[0:38] Speaker 2: I didn't hate it, though I was entertained the whole time.
[0:41] Speaker 1: Yeah, I liked it.
[0:44] Speaker 2: The reunion was on June eleventh in the Clubhouse. Now,
[0:47] Speaker 2: what I thought was a little bit weird. Amanda's like,
[0:51] Speaker 2: I chose to do my own hair and makeup and
[0:53] Speaker 2: styling so no one would get a bad rap.
[0:56] Speaker 1: Well, I don't even understand what that means.
[0:58] Speaker 2: Oh, because everyone remember during the reunion of Summer House.
[1:02] Speaker 1: Well, they made fun of her hair, right.
[1:03] Speaker 2: They made fun of her hair, and then everyone went
[1:05] Speaker 2: after her hairstylist. So she's been a little bit of
[1:09] Speaker 2: a martyr like. Look. I did this all by myself,
[1:12] Speaker 2: so no one can get the heat from me.
[1:15] Speaker 1: It actually looked good.
[1:16] Speaker 2: I mean I thought she looked beautiful.
[1:17] Speaker 1: I think she looked great. I mean she's like wears
[1:19] Speaker 1: heavy makeup anyways, so she was just very natural.
[1:22] Speaker 2: And but I think she was doing it on purpose,
[1:25] Speaker 2: so people feel bad for her when she said that, Well.
[1:27] Speaker 1: Did you happen to see her recent her and West
[1:29] Speaker 1: recent like real or whatever. I don't know if it's
[1:32] Speaker 1: a TikTok or whatever.
[1:33] Speaker 2: The one with the pickles or which pickles and the
[1:35] Speaker 2: ice cream? Yeah, bugs, Well.
[1:39] Speaker 1: They're just playing off the fact that people are saying
[1:40] Speaker 1: that she's pregnant when she's not. But I'm waiting for it.
[1:46] Speaker 1: It's like the person saying I don't want any drama,
[1:48] Speaker 1: but I'm going to do this but.
[1:51] Speaker 2: The drunk in the bear like especially since the rest
[1:53] Speaker 2: of her cast is pretty much pregnant.
[1:55] Speaker 1: How have we heard anything about them filming season two?
[2:00] Speaker 2: I mean, I think they're definitely going to I mean,
[2:02] Speaker 2: I think it's so good. I mean, we have a
[2:05] Speaker 2: confirmed cast for Summerhouse.
[2:07] Speaker 1: And Amanda's not on that.
[2:10] Speaker 2: Amanda's not on it, So do.
[2:12] Speaker 1: You think that she's definitely coming back to in the city.
[2:16] Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think the Summerhouse will film first.
[2:18] Speaker 1: Yeah, they're filming now.
[2:20] Speaker 2: Yeah, so then in the city we'll just start right after.
[2:23] Speaker 1: Yeah. But my question is do you think Amanda is
[2:25] Speaker 1: going to be on in the City.
[2:27] Speaker 2: Yes, you do. I think I like the back and
[2:30] Speaker 2: forth between her and Kyle and I want to keep
[2:34] Speaker 2: saying it. And I think they need her, truthfully, because
[2:38] Speaker 2: they've got the really close friends of Lindsay's, and then
[2:41] Speaker 2: they've got the other two who I'm not sure for
[2:43] Speaker 2: reality television, and then Amanda, who's just kind of that
[2:47] Speaker 2: middle person, which I think can connect the group and
[2:50] Speaker 2: start the ship.
[2:51] Speaker 1: They can get rid of Cavin and oh my god,
[2:54] Speaker 1: somebody new well I would rather them pay for permits
[3:00] Speaker 1: to film at other bars then to have to deal
[3:02] Speaker 1: with him again.
[3:03] Speaker 2: Well I knew that. When Andy's like, how's it going
[3:05] Speaker 2: with your bar, and he's like, well, you know, it's good,
[3:08] Speaker 2: it's fully Oh yeah, I'm like what.
[3:11] Speaker 1: He says, my business has spiked from the show. And
[3:14] Speaker 1: then did you hear like did Andy says Amanda brought
[3:18] Speaker 1: West into the bar and his response with something like.
[3:21] Speaker 2: Yeah, it was like no, she knows, like she knows better, Like,
[3:26] Speaker 2: what are you going to do? Bro? I mean, Kenny
[3:29] Speaker 2: said he talked with Amanda after the reunion about West
[3:32] Speaker 2: being on season two. I mean why not?
[3:39] Speaker 1: I could see them doing that for readings, Yeah I would.
[3:44] Speaker 2: I mean, I mean, you think.
[3:46] Speaker 1: If he comes back on this show gets added, do
[3:52] Speaker 1: you think that he could win people over?
[3:56] Speaker 2: I think we're gonna have a really hard time watching
[3:58] Speaker 2: him and Amanda together. I mean, I'm having a really
[4:02] Speaker 2: hard Why are why.
[4:03] Speaker 1: The paparazzi stalking them?
[4:05] Speaker 2: Because the story?
[4:06] Speaker 1: You want to see what's going on with them.
[4:09] Speaker 2: I mean, the same reason people are stalking Taylor Frankie
[4:12] Speaker 2: Paul and the same reason because they're interesting. They bring interest,
[4:19] Speaker 2: but they want to see the train wreck. They want
[4:21] Speaker 2: to see it happen. But know what, I want to
[4:23] Speaker 2: never see happen. Her spitting an olive into westmouth.
[4:28] Speaker 1: Yeah. Like, but they're also they know they're being photographed
[4:33] Speaker 1: when they're doing this, so it's all a lot of stunts.
[4:36] Speaker 2: Now.
[4:36] Speaker 1: I found it interesting when Andy said, you know, are
[4:40] Speaker 1: you in love with him? Have you said I love you?
[4:43] Speaker 1: And she's like she played coy, like I don't know,
[4:47] Speaker 1: like no, and I'm like, wait, so you just wrecked
[4:51] Speaker 1: your life.
[4:52] Speaker 2: Well I had to google what she said because when
[4:54] Speaker 2: she was being all like passive, like passive AGGRESSI about it,
[4:57] Speaker 2: She's like, you know, the entire cast is like shocked
[5:00] Speaker 2: and upset, and she's like, I don't know, I mean
[5:03] Speaker 2: like Elie, and I was.
[5:05] Speaker 1: Like, what the what does that mean?
[5:07] Speaker 2: That? I L y? I love you? So that's what
[5:12] Speaker 2: they say to they say like text mess is like children.
[5:17] Speaker 1: Did they both have lobotomies.
[5:21] Speaker 2: But that when she goes Eli, then I was like, Teddy,
[5:24] Speaker 2: he's your big girl brain and go figure this out.
[5:28] Speaker 2: I think it's fine.
[5:28] Speaker 1: I thought she was just glitching, you know sometimes she
[5:31] Speaker 1: kind of glitches and I'm like, is she glitching again? No,
[5:34] Speaker 1: I love you, I l y whatever. Well we found
[5:39] Speaker 1: out they talked about Yvon and Nick are expecting, and
[5:43] Speaker 1: Andrea and Lexi are are expecting on my birthday, thank you,
[5:48] Speaker 1: and then the whole thing about the beta blockers, like
[5:50] Speaker 1: she says, you know, she admitted that she was on
[5:52] Speaker 1: a beta blocker, but then she goes and says something
[5:54] Speaker 1: along the lines of, but that's not why I was
[5:57] Speaker 1: acting like that. Then why were you on them?
[6:00] Speaker 2: She well, and then why are you and West both
[6:03] Speaker 2: on them. It's like if the two of us both
[6:05] Speaker 2: take ax Annex, yes, and then we're like shocked that
[6:09] Speaker 2: both of us are low energy.
[6:11] Speaker 1: She it absolutely is going to affect her. And if
[6:15] Speaker 1: she knows that her natural instinct is to shut down
[6:18] Speaker 1: when she is being questioned, she wouldn't really need a
[6:22] Speaker 1: beta blocker.
[6:24] Speaker 2: That being said, I thought she was really good on
[6:27] Speaker 2: this episode.
[6:28] Speaker 1: I thought that, yes, I do too. Like I was like,
[6:31] Speaker 1: I don't think she knows how to tell the truth,
[6:34] Speaker 1: and I don't think she's like I don she's not
[6:38] Speaker 1: purposely lying. But don't sit here and say, yeah, I
[6:40] Speaker 1: took a beta blocker. But it didn't do anything to me, Like,
[6:42] Speaker 1: that's not why I was quiet.
[6:44] Speaker 2: And so it was I don't know, I've taken a
[6:47] Speaker 2: beta blocker and there's really been no change.
[6:49] Speaker 1: And I have never taken a beta blocker in my life.
[6:52] Speaker 1: This is all new to me. Why are people taking
[6:53] Speaker 1: beta blockers.
[6:54] Speaker 2: Well, they gave it to me when I had really
[6:56] Speaker 2: bad driving anxiety.
[6:58] Speaker 1: No, it calmed your ass down, So it calmed.
[7:01] Speaker 2: But I didn't notice one difference. And like they say,
[7:05] Speaker 2: you can drive on a beta blocker.
[7:07] Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying, yeah, like for a while
[7:10] Speaker 1: and he hated them.
[7:11] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I I was like, oh my gosh,
[7:14] Speaker 2: but no, it's not like taking a xanax. It's doesn't
[7:17] Speaker 2: it's not like having four drinks. It's like it Okay,
[7:22] Speaker 2: maybe it's I mean, it's less than if she were
[7:25] Speaker 2: to smoke pot weird.
[7:28] Speaker 1: Well, maybe Kyle's asshole should have took a beta blocker
[7:30] Speaker 1: to colment.
[7:30] Speaker 2: Down what from shitting from the Metal musical?
[7:35] Speaker 1: Yeah, he said his asshole took some time, but it's
[7:38] Speaker 1: finally recovered. Nanny's like, okay, move on from that one.
[7:42] Speaker 2: Do you think that Amanda claiming that West is being
[7:46] Speaker 2: more supportive to her than Kyle, And then you can
[7:51] Speaker 2: see Kyle like had like a visual reaction. He's like
[7:55] Speaker 2: and he's like, well, hold, I did your taxes, I
[7:59] Speaker 2: negotiate your brand deals, and I made your bed, Like
[8:04] Speaker 2: what did West do? What did ma baby?
[8:06] Speaker 1: I think that West is babying her, love bombing her,
[8:10] Speaker 1: being there for her, telling her she's beautiful, wanting to
[8:13] Speaker 1: spend time with.
[8:14] Speaker 2: Her, and I think she's having sex for the first
[8:16] Speaker 2: time in a long time, and so saying.
[8:18] Speaker 1: And I think Kyle was over that. I think their
[8:20] Speaker 1: relationship was done. It was gone, and he wasn't doing
[8:23] Speaker 1: those things anymore, and that's what she really wanted. Did
[8:26] Speaker 1: he take care of her as a husband, Yes, he
[8:28] Speaker 1: helped her with.
[8:30] Speaker 2: I think there's financially taking care of somebody and then
[8:33] Speaker 2: there's physically taking care of somebody. Like she didn't feel
[8:36] Speaker 2: physically loved from Kyle for a while, is what I'm grasping.
[8:40] Speaker 1: Yeah, and West is doing that, and they, like everybody
[8:44] Speaker 1: on the couch was like warning hers, like that's what
[8:47] Speaker 1: he does.
[8:48] Speaker 2: Yeah, he's known to do that, I know, but she
[8:52] Speaker 2: seems like, I mean, I think they're in full by
[8:55] Speaker 2: the way she talks about him. They're good and they're together, and.
[9:01] Speaker 1: Which shocks me. Shocks me. I thought this would be
[9:06] Speaker 1: long gone by now.
[9:08] Speaker 2: Well, especially because it means like that his relationship with Jesse. Wes'
[9:13] Speaker 2: relationship with Jesse is toast.
[9:16] Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure. I mean the entire cast was shocked
[9:18] Speaker 1: and upset, they said, by Amanda and West's relationship. So
[9:21] Speaker 1: it wasn't like, you know, even though some of these
[9:23] Speaker 1: people were not on Summer House, they all kind of
[9:26] Speaker 1: knew each other somehow, and they were all like in shock.
[9:30] Speaker 2: But why do I feel like we're forgiving Amanda, but
[9:32] Speaker 2: we were not forgiving West.
[9:34] Speaker 1: I think that the viewers have known Amanda longer. I
[9:38] Speaker 1: think they've seen her struggle with anxiety and all that
[9:42] Speaker 1: kind of stuff, and they like they saw, you know,
[9:45] Speaker 1: what Kyle had done to her. And I mean, like
[9:47] Speaker 1: we said, if there was no Wes in this situation,
[9:49] Speaker 1: that would be a different story right now, Kyle would
[9:51] Speaker 1: be the villain.
[9:52] Speaker 2: But Amanda. You can tell they're still in that part
[9:55] Speaker 2: where like they have love for each other, so they
[9:57] Speaker 2: can still joke around and be like, oh so he
[9:59] Speaker 2: had it's a Sally, it's the best sex of your life. Huh,
[10:02] Speaker 2: But oh, you're good in bed? I heard kind of
[10:05] Speaker 2: didn't have sex with me.
[10:07] Speaker 1: It's passive aggressive behavior, Like there's nothing positive about it. Like,
[10:10] Speaker 1: I don't think that they should be talking about this,
[10:13] Speaker 1: But the difference is is that they are on a
[10:16] Speaker 1: show together, so they are forced to talk about stuff
[10:19] Speaker 1: like this like in normal life. Like, no, I think
[10:21] Speaker 1: it's weird. You're just asking for disappointment if you're talking
[10:24] Speaker 1: to your soon to be X about his sex life, Like,
[10:28] Speaker 1: what is the point in that?
[10:30] Speaker 2: Well, I don't think she's asking. I think he's offering
[10:32] Speaker 2: up the information because he hid stuff for her from
[10:36] Speaker 2: her for so long.
[10:37] Speaker 1: And what's this sober sex stuff? Like, what is he
[10:40] Speaker 1: drunk all the time? He never has sober sex?
[10:42] Speaker 2: Well, because him and Amanda didn't have sex for whatever
[10:44] Speaker 2: it was, like ten years, eight, ten years or something.
[10:47] Speaker 1: I called bullshit on that. Well, probably not regularly, but
[10:50] Speaker 1: there's no guy or girl that's gonna stick around for
[10:53] Speaker 1: not having sex for ten years.
[10:54] Speaker 2: So it means it's the first time he's like, had
[10:58] Speaker 2: he had sex with somebody, Because if he's only having
[11:00] Speaker 2: sex with Amanda after going out, or if he's only
[11:03] Speaker 2: cheating when after going out, or if he's only moved
[11:07] Speaker 2: on and had sex with Sally after going out, he
[11:09] Speaker 2: has not had sober sex. So now he can say
[11:13] Speaker 2: he is telling the group I now have had sober sex.
[11:19] Speaker 1: Isn't he too old for this shit? I mean already
[11:22] Speaker 1: something years old.
[11:23] Speaker 2: Is sex a little bit better though with a glass
[11:25] Speaker 2: of Champs first, yes.
[11:28] Speaker 1: I guess, But saying like he finally had sober sex, like,
[11:33] Speaker 1: what the hell are you doing? You just get loaded
[11:34] Speaker 1: all the time.
[11:35] Speaker 2: I don't think it's about him getting loaded all the time.
[11:38] Speaker 2: But I think now he's out and about to meet women.
[11:42] Speaker 1: And so the fact that well, one of those women
[11:45] Speaker 1: that was brought up was Megan King tippy toeing to
[11:48] Speaker 1: give him a kiss.
[11:49] Speaker 2: Well, and he wanted to make it very clear he
[11:51] Speaker 2: was not on his tippies. I couldn't tell. It was blurry.
[11:55] Speaker 1: It looked like he was on a tippytest to me,
[11:56] Speaker 1: I mean she towers. She's tall. Yea, she is tall,
[12:01] Speaker 1: and I don't know how tall he is.
[12:02] Speaker 2: My guess is he's like five to nine.
[12:04] Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think she's taller than that. And she
[12:07] Speaker 1: probably had heels on.
[12:09] Speaker 2: I think she had sneakers on. Oh, like even worse,
[12:13] Speaker 2: like not not like I'm gonna go run sneakers, but
[12:18] Speaker 2: like going out sneakers. What are those?
[12:22] Speaker 1: I don't know, sneakers? Okay, I want to take this
[12:25] Speaker 1: because Andy asked Kyle about the rumor that he's great
[12:27] Speaker 1: in bed now. Lalla announced this after Sally recorded the
[12:30] Speaker 1: first podcast together, Sex Unlocked. I was there when this
[12:34] Speaker 1: all went down. We were in northern California. This is
[12:38] Speaker 1: where me and Sophia talked about launching our podcast and
[12:43] Speaker 1: they launched theirs. They took the photos and stuff, and
[12:45] Speaker 1: we had a full blown conversation with Sally, and Sally
[12:49] Speaker 1: did absolutely say that he was amazing, amazing, But then
[12:56] Speaker 1: she said, don't say anything because it's like they just
[12:58] Speaker 1: filmed the reunion. It's not out you know, and all
[13:02] Speaker 1: this stuff. So I'm like, I want to say anything,
[13:03] Speaker 1: but now that it's out there, now that it's out there,
[13:06] Speaker 1: out there.
[13:07] Speaker 2: But I mean maybe that's like compared to some of
[13:11] Speaker 2: the other people. I mean, do you look at the Yeah,
[13:17] Speaker 2: these guys are good in bed.
[13:19] Speaker 1: She gave details.
[13:20] Speaker 2: Oh, she gave details. So I think they'll probably have
[13:26] Speaker 2: sex again because he said on the in the reunion,
[13:28] Speaker 2: well he was just he was just in Charleston.
[13:30] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you know, they're doing some fan fest and
[13:32] Speaker 1: I think it's in Charleston.
[13:34] Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, really I think.
[13:36] Speaker 1: Is it something like that. Yeah, they say that Orange
[13:40] Speaker 1: County Girls are going to be or some are. I
[13:41] Speaker 1: think they take a few from each cast, but I
[13:43] Speaker 1: don't know of anybody in my cast that have been
[13:46] Speaker 1: asked yet. I would love to go. I've never been there,
[13:48] Speaker 1: but I.
[13:49] Speaker 2: Would love to go too. I always wanted to go
[13:51] Speaker 2: there because membership and I grew up together, so like
[13:54] Speaker 2: I love and I still have. The other night, I
[13:57] Speaker 2: text him about uh because I was trying to remember
[14:01] Speaker 2: this boarding school and I couldn't remember the name. Was
[14:05] Speaker 2: making me crazy, and I texted him and then he
[14:09] Speaker 2: didn't text me back to the next day and then
[14:11] Speaker 2: he's like, Yep, you were right, you guess the right name.
[14:13] Speaker 2: I'm like, thanks, thanks for the info. Good thing. I
[14:16] Speaker 2: wasn't like dying on a hill waiting for it.
[14:18] Speaker 1: Are you? Did you go to a boarding school?
[14:21] Speaker 2: No, but most people aren't. In the South or like
[14:25] Speaker 2: over there, boarding school is very popular, like SHEP went
[14:28] Speaker 2: to boarding school, yeah, East Coast, SHEP went, Like we
[14:33] Speaker 2: went to middle school together and then he left and
[14:35] Speaker 2: went to Episcopal, which is a big Like that's where
[14:41] Speaker 2: we would all want to go. We'd either want to
[14:42] Speaker 2: go to Episcopal or Woodburry because Woodbury was an all
[14:45] Speaker 2: guys school. Episcopal was both sex. But that was like
[14:51] Speaker 2: where the hot dudes were when you like, had he'd
[14:53] Speaker 2: gone through Hilmhead.
[14:54] Speaker 1: Island, gotcha, not a lot to pick from.
[14:58] Speaker 2: But once again, Amanda an that she and West were
[15:00] Speaker 2: an item during the Super Bowl, but West just said otherwise,
[15:05] Speaker 2: or did I get that wrong? Now?
[15:06] Speaker 1: Wes was ragging there that they were an item. So
[15:09] Speaker 1: he seems to have a big mouth. I don't know
[15:10] Speaker 1: if he's one of those that gets drunk and just
[15:12] Speaker 1: everything is about his mouth, because you know, he also
[15:15] Speaker 1: supposedly was out and told somebody at the airport that
[15:18] Speaker 1: he slept with Jen Fessel her so oh right, or
[15:22] Speaker 1: Jenny or Jen or he called her Jen. I don't
[15:24] Speaker 1: know if he uses her last name as CRUs would say, cringe, friend.
[15:36] Speaker 2: I don't understand how Frank the Milkman can be mentioned
[15:39] Speaker 2: on two.
[15:42] Speaker 1: I mean, even Andy is like, I I met Frank
[15:46] Speaker 1: the Milkman. He was dating a girl we shall not name.
[15:50] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, but it seems like none of the
[15:52] Speaker 2: girls really like Frank the Milkman.
[15:54] Speaker 1: Like, well, we saw him on the show. I don't
[15:57] Speaker 1: think it's I don't know how.
[15:59] Speaker 2: I don't don't know if he was bad on television
[16:01] Speaker 2: or that's how he is.
[16:03] Speaker 1: I don't know, but nobody liked him. Yvonne said she's
[16:07] Speaker 1: still skeptical Frank and wants to see, if you know,
[16:10] Speaker 1: see her with somebody else. I agree, but she keeps
[16:13] Speaker 1: saying like I don't want somebody like full time.
[16:19] Speaker 2: Basically, she wants, she wants to hook up. That's easy
[16:22] Speaker 2: that she can go on dates with this guy.
[16:23] Speaker 1: Knows to date him for like five times and didn't
[16:26] Speaker 1: hook up with him.
[16:27] Speaker 2: Well, I think no. I think it was like the
[16:29] Speaker 2: third time they hadn't slept together yet or something. But
[16:32] Speaker 2: I mean, I thought it was funny when Danielle goes.
[16:37] Speaker 2: I'm not commenting on Lindsey's relationship, but Georgina had a
[16:43] Speaker 2: lot to say about it, and I thought that Georgina
[16:45] Speaker 2: was very like Susciety.
[16:47] Speaker 1: Kept looking at Georgina. She kept I don't know if
[16:49] Speaker 1: her dress was uncomfortable, but she kept like wiggling it
[16:53] Speaker 1: and looking back.
[16:53] Speaker 2: I think I think it was her it was falling
[16:55] Speaker 2: down because she had it was sleeveless.
[16:57] Speaker 1: She was just like, like you could tell she was
[16:59] Speaker 1: really struggling with that dress. But she looked good. But okay,
[17:02] Speaker 1: So well, Kenny explains his perspective on having Whitney move
[17:05] Speaker 1: across the country for him without a ring. I felt
[17:08] Speaker 1: like everybody was criticizing Whitney so hard. Don't you think
[17:16] Speaker 1: like I started to feel sorry for Whitney.
[17:18] Speaker 2: Well, I didn't start to feel sorry for Whitney. I
[17:21] Speaker 2: mean everyone jumps in to criticize him. I thought, first
[17:26] Speaker 2: Lindsey calls him a gas lighter, misogynistic, narcissist. I kind
[17:32] Speaker 2: of agree, because every time that Whitney goes to speak,
[17:36] Speaker 2: do you see the way that Kenny turns around and
[17:39] Speaker 2: looks at her?
[17:40] Speaker 1: I thought it was endearing, eh. I thought he was
[17:43] Speaker 1: being sweet. It wasn't like in her dust stare. He
[17:46] Speaker 1: was just kind of like no.
[17:47] Speaker 2: He was like, I'm coaching you exactly what to say
[17:49] Speaker 2: and do it. And then he would take a step
[17:51] Speaker 2: in for her and he'd be like, well, that's why
[17:53] Speaker 2: Whitney would just say this.
[17:55] Speaker 1: Well, and then Gavin kept putting his two cents and
[17:57] Speaker 1: I'm like, shut up. Somebody turns his mic off. You
[18:00] Speaker 1: would not shut up. I don't know. I mean, obviously
[18:03] Speaker 1: Kenny and Lindsay do not get along. I don't like
[18:06] Speaker 1: to see a guy fighting with a girl. I really
[18:08] Speaker 1: don't even know they're on this show together. But I
[18:11] Speaker 1: just felt like everybody was kind of questioning Whitney, and
[18:16] Speaker 1: I kept thinking, is there something about Whitney that we
[18:18] Speaker 1: don't know? Because on the surface, she seems like really
[18:21] Speaker 1: sweet and nice, and.
[18:23] Speaker 2: I think, what Whitney said about moms. I mean, when
[18:28] Speaker 2: a lot of the cast is moms and soon to
[18:29] Speaker 2: be moms really pisses people off. And I think that
[18:33] Speaker 2: Lindsay not having any like girth when she comes forward
[18:38] Speaker 2: to say what she wants to say or apologize or
[18:41] Speaker 2: make her reasonings, like she's such like a timid little flower.
[18:46] Speaker 2: She's such a fawn in the woods that you never
[18:52] Speaker 2: really get to hear her personality at all. It just
[18:54] Speaker 2: kind of feels like she's a pushover and that she
[18:56] Speaker 2: did it because she was told to say it. And
[18:59] Speaker 2: then Lindsay made a comment where she's like, uh, also,
[19:03] Speaker 2: you complained about not having a thirty thousand dollars closet
[19:06] Speaker 2: all year, And I'm like, why didn't they show us that?
[19:09] Speaker 1: Well, they didn't even chose a flashback, so that makes.
[19:11] Speaker 2: Me believe like I'm sure she did, and they just
[19:14] Speaker 2: nobody care and show us a flashback.
[19:16] Speaker 1: I know, I don't know.
[19:18] Speaker 2: I mean, they showed it once, but like they didn't
[19:20] Speaker 2: show the whole They just showed him not having that
[19:23] Speaker 2: room in a closet for because of his bike.
[19:25] Speaker 1: Yeah, that's all we saw. But when Kenny asked moving
[19:28] Speaker 1: on to Gavin, like this guy just bugs the shit
[19:30] Speaker 1: out of me. When Kenny asked about Gavin's previous toxic relationships,
[19:34] Speaker 1: Gavin tells him to think before he speaks, and I'm like,
[19:37] Speaker 1: is that a threat?
[19:38] Speaker 2: Like?
[19:39] Speaker 1: What was he afraid that Kenny was gonna say?
[19:41] Speaker 2: I think it was a threat, like, dude, I have
[19:43] Speaker 2: shit on you too.
[19:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what That's how I took it.
[19:46] Speaker 2: And then they both they both kind of say they
[19:49] Speaker 2: were in toxic situation.
[19:51] Speaker 1: Everybody's been in a toxic relationship. But Gavin said he
[19:54] Speaker 1: didn't call Whitney boring.
[19:55] Speaker 2: Well, yeah, you did.
[19:56] Speaker 1: You call the relationship waring and he did. He's just
[19:59] Speaker 1: so full of shit. I feel like I cares so
[20:03] Speaker 1: much about Kenny and Whitney's relationship. It's kind of weird
[20:06] Speaker 1: to me.
[20:06] Speaker 2: I don't know. Maybe he's in love with Kenny, that's
[20:09] Speaker 2: what I think. I mean. I think he also wants
[20:12] Speaker 2: to make sure he makes an impression on the show.
[20:14] Speaker 2: I do not think he has any interest in not
[20:17] Speaker 2: being asked back anything said. If he does these things,
[20:20] Speaker 2: he has a better chance of coming back then. Jasmine
[20:24] Speaker 2: from the Valley said Whitney was the most fame hungry
[20:27] Speaker 2: contestant on The Bachelor. This is where he gets a
[20:29] Speaker 2: little mean. I mean, I I did watch The Bachelor.
[20:33] Speaker 1: Did you watch when she was on it? She was
[20:35] Speaker 1: barely on. Okay, so Jasmine and Whitney were on the
[20:38] Speaker 1: same season of The Bachelor, and so Jasmine I wish Nick. Yeah,
[20:43] Speaker 1: Oh she was on with Nick too, Okay. So it
[20:46] Speaker 1: must have been like maybe on watching Hopbin's Live or
[20:48] Speaker 1: something she had said like she's fame hungry contestant. So
[20:54] Speaker 1: she saw her in a way that maybe we're not
[20:56] Speaker 1: seeing her. That's why I'm starting when everybody's saying something. Now,
[21:00] Speaker 1: I'm wondering, like, is this a part of her we
[21:02] Speaker 1: don't see?
[21:03] Speaker 2: I think it is. I think there's a part of
[21:05] Speaker 2: her we're not seeing. I don't know. I think Lindsay's
[21:09] Speaker 2: a straight shooter, and maybe she is does have moments
[21:12] Speaker 2: where she's being entitled. But I think the fact that
[21:17] Speaker 2: Whitney can't just come out and say, like you treat
[21:21] Speaker 2: people that are below you back, you know, like she was,
[21:23] Speaker 2: like I felt like there also was kind of her
[21:29] Speaker 2: character on the Bachelor, and I feel like whenever you know,
[21:38] Speaker 2: like I think Georgina kind of snaps back and says
[21:41] Speaker 2: Whitney has to be honest about only being with Kenny
[21:45] Speaker 2: for reality TV. This I don't agree with.
[21:47] Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Georgina also said something in the season two
[21:52] Speaker 1: with the last couple episodes where you don't like girls
[21:56] Speaker 1: or I don't remember that, and I'm like, that's kind
[21:58] Speaker 1: of a blanking statement, and that's kind of how does
[22:00] Speaker 1: she know that Whitney's only with Kenny to be on
[22:03] Speaker 1: reality TV, like she moved there. I don't know. I
[22:07] Speaker 1: don't think that's entirely true.
[22:09] Speaker 2: I mean, I have no idea if somebody I don't know,
[22:12] Speaker 2: if I would do a move across the country and
[22:15] Speaker 2: not have a commitment.
[22:17] Speaker 1: They lived together, doesn't mean they have to get married.
[22:21] Speaker 2: They're at that age where they're I mean, they already
[22:23] Speaker 2: had that accidental wedding, didn't you see it?
[22:26] Speaker 1: Yeah, But I mean I don't think there's anything wrong
[22:27] Speaker 1: with it. I wouldn't have I mean, she's not tied
[22:31] Speaker 1: down to anything, she doesn't have kids, moved to New York,
[22:34] Speaker 1: she's on a reality show. See if it works out
[22:36] Speaker 1: and if not, move back.
[22:37] Speaker 2: I think Andrea's wife was even scared when Whitney would
[22:41] Speaker 2: say certain things throughout the season, So I think that
[22:43] Speaker 2: kind of shows.
[22:45] Speaker 1: Well, I mean, Amanda starts speaking up and defending Whitney,
[22:47] Speaker 1: saying that they were together as a couple before the
[22:50] Speaker 1: show even was a show. Yeah, to bad, too bad
[22:56] Speaker 1: a man, it doesn't have much credibility.
[22:57] Speaker 2: But then they were like, Kenny's like, good, can you
[23:00] Speaker 2: say it again? And then Amanda forgot what she had said.
[23:03] Speaker 2: I know, I know, I was like, oh, she could
[23:08] Speaker 2: feel Amanda's nervousness, like she's like, where's my beta blocker now?
[23:13] Speaker 2: Because I I did something right in the eyes of Kenny.
[23:16] Speaker 1: And even when when somebody said or Kenny said, like,
[23:19] Speaker 1: you're right, She's like, oh, I'm right, I know, Disney Princess, I'm.
[23:24] Speaker 2: Right, I'm right. She's like who well, I mean, I
[23:27] Speaker 2: think that shows how many years she had those pretty
[23:29] Speaker 2: much shit of Kyle. But I mean, I couldn't help.
[23:32] Speaker 2: But I came out of this reunion liking Kyle and
[23:37] Speaker 2: Amanda and not minding that they're filming together.
[23:39] Speaker 1: I like, I like them all except for Gavin.
[23:42] Speaker 2: I know you don't like Gavin.
[23:43] Speaker 1: That's me so bad.
[23:51] Speaker 2: But then Lindsay and her friends are adamant and they
[23:54] Speaker 2: disagree that they're Lindsay's minions. They had me here until
[24:00] Speaker 2: Lindsay's like, I'm like their minions. I think she was
[24:03] Speaker 2: just saying I'm the one that stirs the pot.
[24:06] Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, the fact that she wore a yellow dress
[24:09] Speaker 1: all she did with a pair of goggles.
[24:11] Speaker 2: Yeah, she came on.
[24:14] Speaker 1: I surprise she didn't, And she's do you know what
[24:20] Speaker 1: confuses me?
[24:21] Speaker 2: When don't I use the mom card?
[24:23] Speaker 1: I know, right? How come Lindsay won't check Gavin. He's
[24:26] Speaker 1: the type of guy she typically wouldn't care for. Is
[24:31] Speaker 1: it because she's going up against Kenny and Whitney? I
[24:33] Speaker 1: don't know what it is like I see pictures of them.
[24:36] Speaker 2: I think Gavin is so far up Lindsay's ass she
[24:39] Speaker 2: could puke him out.
[24:40] Speaker 1: Yeah, but he's still annoying. He's like that annoying person
[24:43] Speaker 1: that hangs around and you're like, you know, no one
[24:46] Speaker 1: likes you, but I guess they did. She does like
[24:49] Speaker 1: she's on social media with him, taking pictures and yeah,
[24:52] Speaker 1: she seems to not really like him. I think you
[24:55] Speaker 1: know she does like him.
[24:56] Speaker 2: You have a the fact that you have a visceral
[24:59] Speaker 2: react towards him, I think it shows that he's got
[25:02] Speaker 2: some kind of good television because he's making you annoyed
[25:06] Speaker 2: enough to be like, I can't stand him, which is
[25:08] Speaker 2: like how we there's always that part.
[25:10] Speaker 1: I can't stand him.
[25:11] Speaker 2: It's just he bogs See Kenny bugs me more than
[25:17] Speaker 2: no way, Yes, like Kenny bugs me more. It switched. Granted,
[25:23] Speaker 2: I have been fair lotter about these two the entire season,
[25:27] Speaker 2: on which one I think really bothers me more. But
[25:30] Speaker 2: seeing the way Kenny was controlling Whitney, to me, it
[25:33] Speaker 2: was so controlling I.
[25:35] Speaker 1: See it like that.
[25:36] Speaker 2: I really got like severe ick from it. Like I
[25:39] Speaker 2: was like, ooh, but in good news on Kenny, which
[25:44] Speaker 2: is I don't want to just you know, trash on him.
[25:47] Speaker 2: I just can't keep shitting on him. He does talk
[25:50] Speaker 2: about how his dad and him now speak weekly, and
[25:54] Speaker 2: he's met some of his half siblings too, And you
[25:58] Speaker 2: know at this moment, it's when Lindsay speaks up and
[26:03] Speaker 2: says like and she gets emotional and it really like
[26:07] Speaker 2: touched me where she's like, you know, Canny, I'm so
[26:10] Speaker 2: I'm truly glad this happened for you. Because I have
[26:13] Speaker 2: a mother that has my number, they won't and won't
[26:17] Speaker 2: call me and doesn't want to talk to me.
[26:19] Speaker 1: Yeah, and like, well, that's the one good thing about
[26:23] Speaker 1: Lindsay is like, you know, she gives props where there
[26:27] Speaker 1: need to be given, and she'll call people out and
[26:30] Speaker 1: she'll compliment them and then you know, she'll shoot them down.
[26:34] Speaker 2: So she she can do all the things, all the things,
[26:37] Speaker 2: she can have all the emotions.
[26:38] Speaker 1: I think the worst thing is is like when there
[26:40] Speaker 1: is like a reality star that hates somebody on the show,
[26:43] Speaker 1: and no matter what they do, it's like, ah, God,
[26:45] Speaker 1: that's horrible, you know, they can't move on.
[26:49] Speaker 2: Yeah, no, but I think she see I think that
[26:53] Speaker 2: Lindsay is a good person.
[26:54] Speaker 1: Yeah, I do too.
[26:55] Speaker 2: I think that Lindsay is a deep down a good
[26:57] Speaker 2: person and she feels things hard. That's what I think
[27:00] Speaker 2: that it's similar to you, like when you have a
[27:02] Speaker 2: feeling it's hard, it's strong, it's for sure, you know,
[27:06] Speaker 2: and that's why you're good television. I think the same
[27:09] Speaker 2: goes for her. But then Whitney and Kenny have talked
[27:15] Speaker 2: about getting engaged this year. They're ready to take that
[27:19] Speaker 2: next step. Now. Of course, I'm like, convenient timing.
[27:22] Speaker 1: Oh, because you mean those filment Yeah, well, I love
[27:25] Speaker 1: a good proposal. Oh my gosh, I love a good proposal.
[27:29] Speaker 1: So we'll see. I mean that would be the next
[27:32] Speaker 1: step with them.
[27:33] Speaker 2: I mean it is the next step because I think
[27:34] Speaker 2: they want to get having kids soon. But then Whitney
[27:38] Speaker 2: apologizes for using the words single mom card and says
[27:42] Speaker 2: she admires Lindsay and Georgina as single moms. Lindsay says
[27:46] Speaker 2: she almost threw up watching the episode back she said
[27:49] Speaker 2: she cried for six months after Whitney said that. Do
[27:52] Speaker 2: you think that's an exaggeration?
[27:53] Speaker 1: Yes, six months? What is she crying about? What does
[27:57] Speaker 1: she care that Whitney, who doesn't even have children, has
[28:00] Speaker 1: to say about motherhood that she.
[28:02] Speaker 2: Had on National TV like that she wasn't I think
[28:05] Speaker 2: there's a real stigma when it comes to being a
[28:09] Speaker 2: mom and having a nanny and not and like what
[28:11] Speaker 2: that means to the outside world. Or I don't know.
[28:14] Speaker 1: She might be super sensitive because of what she went
[28:16] Speaker 1: through with her own mom and she would be there
[28:18] Speaker 1: for her own daughter and now she's putting it out there.
[28:21] Speaker 1: I mean, six months is quite a long time. I'd
[28:24] Speaker 1: be dry, I'd be dehydrated.
[28:26] Speaker 2: I I mean, maybe she wasn't like not crying but
[28:29] Speaker 2: it was upsetting to her when she was thinking about
[28:31] Speaker 2: the entire until she saw how it was going to air.
[28:34] Speaker 2: Because we have to also remember the way that we
[28:37] Speaker 2: saw it was differently than she saw it, because she wasn't.
[28:40] Speaker 1: That mad in the moment, asked me, I know, you
[28:44] Speaker 1: never know, like you have a good season. I had
[28:45] Speaker 1: a great season. Ever got along with everyone, and you
[28:47] Speaker 1: see everybody's confessional and what they stay behind your back,
[28:49] Speaker 1: You're like, diamn shit. Then Lindsay's right, She's like, I
[28:56] Speaker 1: have a nanny because I have to work, unlike Whitney,
[28:59] Speaker 1: who's end, you know, depending on her boyfriend at this point.
[29:03] Speaker 2: And I think, you know, we didn't hear a lot
[29:07] Speaker 2: from Danielle this episode. I think that we will in
[29:10] Speaker 2: the next one. But I mean Kenny, the fact that
[29:14] Speaker 2: I think he had this written down on his leg
[29:16] Speaker 2: and said it as they were leaving. He's like, you
[29:18] Speaker 2: collect apologies like she collects.
[29:21] Speaker 1: Souls, Like, no, you think he practiced that.
[29:26] Speaker 2: I think he practiced that line.
[29:28] Speaker 1: It's funny.
[29:29] Speaker 2: I think that was a what was the heather from
[29:33] Speaker 2: Salt Lake City? What did she say? Timeline? Yeah, screenshots, Yeah, yeah,
[29:41] Speaker 2: I can't really fufully remember it either. But you know,
[29:44] Speaker 2: to me, Kenny is just such a try hard. But yeah,
[29:49] Speaker 2: we didn't see much of the other ladies. I mean
[29:54] Speaker 2: they chimed in. I mean of the what do we
[29:58] Speaker 2: call them hashtag minions? But I mean I still like them.
[30:02] Speaker 2: I want them on the show, yeah for sure. Yeah,
[30:05] Speaker 2: but I was happy with this reunion. I hope we
[30:07] Speaker 2: get more into some of the other girls and the
[30:11] Speaker 2: next one. Yeah, me too, because I am curious. Let's
[30:15] Speaker 2: do it all right, guys, thanks for tuning in for
[30:17] Speaker 2: another episode of to Teas in a Pod.
[30:19] Speaker 1: Bye.
