[0:02] Speaker 1: All right, welcome to all you faithfuls and traders for
[0:03] Speaker 1: another episode of By Order of the Faithfuls. We are
[0:07] Speaker 1: finally talking about traders once again. Wells Adams here alongside
[0:11] Speaker 1: someone who I've missed very, very much.
[0:14] Speaker 2: Tamara Judge. I feel like it's been like two years
[0:19] Speaker 2: since we've done this. Um, what has been going on
[0:22] Speaker 2: in your life? Like, did you have kids? Did you, what,
[0:24] Speaker 2: what's going on? I feel like it's been forever.
[0:26] Speaker 1: I know. Um, let's see. Um, I, I, I host
[0:31] Speaker 1: a show on the golf channel. I don't know if
[0:32] Speaker 1: you know that.
[0:33] Speaker 2: Well, you were kind of dipping into that. Your wife
[0:35] Speaker 2: was on Broadway.
[0:36] Speaker 1: Yes. You were going back and forth. Now she's on
[0:40] Speaker 1: the West end in London doing cabaret. Okay.
[0:43] Speaker 2: Good for her.
[0:44] Speaker 1: Today is her opening night. So look, can we put
[0:46] Speaker 1: out some good vibes?
[0:47] Speaker 2: Yes.
[0:47] Speaker 1: Yes.
[0:49] Speaker 2: How do you feel like having a wife that's so
[0:51] Speaker 2: crazy busy like that?
[0:53] Speaker 1: It's a bummer because, I mean, New York was far
[0:56] Speaker 1: for me to go visit her. London's worse. I don't
[1:00] Speaker 1: know if you're a fan of geography, but it's very
[1:03] Speaker 1: far to get over there.
[1:04] Speaker 2: I actually failed it in high school, but I have
[1:07] Speaker 2: been there before. So I know it's a trek to
[1:09] Speaker 2: get there.
[1:10] Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm just very proud of her. This is
[1:11] Speaker 1: a dream role for her to be Sally Bowles in
[1:15] Speaker 1: Cabaret and then getting to do it on the West
[1:17] Speaker 1: End and then getting to do the West End in
[1:20] Speaker 1: the same year of doing a Broadway show, I think
[1:23] Speaker 1: is like very unique.
[1:24] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. So to be safe, no kids. You didn't
[1:28] Speaker 2: have any kids.
[1:29] Speaker 1: No, no. she's too busy for me to get laid.
[1:34] Speaker 1: What do you, that's what it sounds like.
[1:37] Speaker 2: Phone sex just doesn't do it.
[1:39] Speaker 1: No, it does. It doesn't make babies. That's for sure.
[1:42] Speaker 1: Oh my God.
[1:42] Speaker 2: Let's get into this traders new blood season one. Um,
[1:46] Speaker 2: I'm not missing the celebs.
[1:48] Speaker 1: I'm not either. And I, I had a feeling that
[1:50] Speaker 1: this was going to happen for me. Um, what's so
[1:53] Speaker 1: fun about this is that because you don't know them,
[1:56] Speaker 1: they can be anyone they want.
[1:58] Speaker 2: Right.
[1:58] Speaker 1: You know, Yeah. It's like when you watch the celebrities,
[2:01] Speaker 1: you're like, oh, I know, that's the asshole.
[2:03] Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right.
[2:05] Speaker 1: You're right.
[2:07] Speaker 2: Refresh my memory. Have they done that in the US
[2:10] Speaker 2: version at all? Or has it always been celebs?
[2:13] Speaker 1: In season one, they had half.
[2:16] Speaker 2: That's right.
[2:17] Speaker 1: Half normies.
[2:18] Speaker 2: Half and half.
[2:19] Speaker 1: And then a half celebrities. And this is the first year.
[2:22] Speaker 1: But see, in the UK, they do... civilians, I think
[2:26] Speaker 1: is what they call them. Yeah.
[2:28] Speaker 2: I've seen, but I'll have to tell you, it's not
[2:30] Speaker 2: as good as this one.
[2:32] Speaker 1: I agree. And I'm liking it.
[2:34] Speaker 2: Maybe it's Alan. So you're thinking maybe it's Alan hosting
[2:37] Speaker 2: it or they just really picked them well this time.
[2:42] Speaker 1: I think that the show just needed to get popular
[2:45] Speaker 1: enough to then not need the celebrities anymore. The celebrities
[2:48] Speaker 1: got them, I think, all the eyeballs for those first
[2:52] Speaker 1: three seasons. And now they're like, The show is winning Emmys.
[2:56] Speaker 1: Alan's winning Emmys. We probably don't need to pay these.
[3:00] Speaker 1: You're like, damn it. I wish I was on like
[3:03] Speaker 1: season five or six. Being at the very beginning, you know.
[3:07] Speaker 2: I know. He's not as great, all those things. And
[3:10] Speaker 2: people aren't watching as much. But I'll tell you, some
[3:13] Speaker 2: of these characters, I would assume they are on TV.
[3:18] Speaker 2: I mean, I swear I've seen Joe in an early
[3:21] Speaker 2: 2000 sitcom with Rosie O'Donnell or something. He just looks
[3:24] Speaker 2: like the type.
[3:26] Speaker 1: It's just, it's very interesting. I mean, obviously they probably
[3:28] Speaker 1: had a rigorous casting call for this and, you know,
[3:32] Speaker 1: people had to do lots of like kind of chemistry
[3:35] Speaker 1: reads and stuff to get on the show, but you're right.
[3:38] Speaker 1: Like watching, um, watching the show. I'm like, I'm going
[3:42] Speaker 1: through it being like, okay. Uh, Ben McDonald's hilarious.
[3:46] Speaker 2: Oh, by the way, I know Ben.
[3:48] Speaker 1: Do you really?
[3:49] Speaker 2: Ben DeGeneres was in dinner with Ben. Yes. Um, He's
[3:53] Speaker 2: actually a friend of somebody I know within the industry.
[3:57] Speaker 2: And we went to dinner and I met him and
[4:00] Speaker 2: his partner. And it was so like we became instant
[4:02] Speaker 2: friends because he has a ranch with all these animals
[4:05] Speaker 2: and we would talk about it and we would text.
[4:08] Speaker 2: And when he got on the show, he did not
[4:10] Speaker 2: tell me, obviously, because he couldn't. And then when it
[4:13] Speaker 2: came out, I'm like, what the? I go, okay, give
[4:16] Speaker 2: it to me. Did somebody get you in there?
[4:18] Speaker 1: He's like, no, not at all.
[4:19] Speaker 2: He goes, I did it all on my own.
[4:21] Speaker 1: Well, that's good.
[4:22] Speaker 2: Damn. Yeah. We're going to try to get them on
[4:26] Speaker 2: the pod. I talked to him yesterday, but you know
[4:28] Speaker 2: how strict they are?
[4:29] Speaker 1: Oh, I know.
[4:30] Speaker 2: Peacock's so strict. And so they can't go on any
[4:34] Speaker 2: podcasts until they are out.
[4:37] Speaker 1: Eliminated.
[4:38] Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. We'll get them on eventually.
[4:41] Speaker 1: Okay. Hopefully.
[4:42] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[4:42] Speaker 1: That would be awesome. I also want to get Clyde on.
[4:45] Speaker 1: He seems amazing. Jay seems amazing. I liked Kim, the,
[4:49] Speaker 1: the lawyer slash basketball coach.
[4:51] Speaker 2: Oh, do you think it was her karma to get
[4:54] Speaker 2: murdered after lying about who she was?
[4:56] Speaker 1: Well, we'll get into that because you have a theory
[4:59] Speaker 1: about that. And then, you know, when I met Kate, Katie,
[5:02] Speaker 1: the 23 year old, I was like, Oh, this is
[5:03] Speaker 1: a TV star. And then the same with Joe, right?
[5:06] Speaker 2: Yes. Joe, Katie, Tamika.
[5:08] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[5:09] Speaker 2: She also looks like she's an actress, just the way
[5:12] Speaker 2: she comes off and talks and so comfortable and natural
[5:15] Speaker 2: in front of the cameras.
[5:17] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[5:17] Speaker 2: She's a pilot.
[5:18] Speaker 1: Christy is like the sassy Southern girl.
[5:22] Speaker 2: That's just like, she just, I just wanted to call
[5:25] Speaker 2: her Karen. She's such a Karen.
[5:27] Speaker 1: She went hard.
[5:29] Speaker 2: She put a target on her back. And then what
[5:32] Speaker 2: about Victor?
[5:33] Speaker 1: I mean, Victor, you can't talk about Victor without talking
[5:37] Speaker 1: about Madeline or Madeline.
[5:39] Speaker 2: Do you think they're going to be the couple? You
[5:41] Speaker 2: know how every season there's like a heartthrob. There's the
[5:45] Speaker 2: girl that's going to be on Dancing with the Stars.
[5:48] Speaker 2: Do you think it's going to be the same for
[5:49] Speaker 2: these civilians as it is for, let's say, regular traders
[5:54] Speaker 2: with celebrities on there?
[5:56] Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't want to get, I don't
[5:57] Speaker 1: want to put the cart before the horse because we
[5:59] Speaker 1: haven't gotten there yet as a producer. I would, I
[6:03] Speaker 1: am so annoyed that things went down the way they
[6:05] Speaker 1: did because I think all you want is a showmance
[6:08] Speaker 1: to happen on this show.
[6:10] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[6:11] Speaker 1: And you know, you like, you want to film them
[6:13] Speaker 1: both going up to bed together. Like, yeah.
[6:17] Speaker 2: Well, speaking of showmances, you heard about CT and Phaedra, right? Oh, yeah.
[6:24] Speaker 1: They're together.
[6:24] Speaker 2: They're together. Now, they were on my season.
[6:28] Speaker 1: And I would- Was this Mark's then?
[6:30] Speaker 2: Yes. Yeah. Well, it's hard to tell with Phaedra because
[6:33] Speaker 2: she's so friendly with everybody. And he was going through
[6:37] Speaker 2: it at the time. I had conversations with him. He
[6:38] Speaker 2: was going through a divorce. He had a girlfriend that
[6:41] Speaker 2: he ended up married and divorced since I've seen him last.
[6:44] Speaker 2: And he was going through things with his son and
[6:47] Speaker 2: all this stuff. So Phaedra was always there kind of
[6:50] Speaker 2: comfort him and stuff. So I just thought it was
[6:52] Speaker 2: Phaedra being Phaedra. And then when it came out that
[6:54] Speaker 2: they're like dating, I'm like, Oh my God, I should
[6:57] Speaker 2: have seen that.
[6:58] Speaker 1: Yeah. I, I can totally see them working too. I
[7:03] Speaker 1: don't know them personally, but just from watching them on
[7:05] Speaker 1: TV for so long, I'm like, yeah, that's, this checks out.
[7:07] Speaker 1: This works.
[7:08] Speaker 2: And Xavier, I thought at first that he was a
[7:11] Speaker 2: basketball player. You know, he's already been on watch what
[7:13] Speaker 2: happens live.
[7:14] Speaker 1: Oh really?
[7:15] Speaker 2: He was the bartender. oh yeah coming from my job
[7:19] Speaker 2: yeah yeah sounds like yeah but Tamika she's a she's
[7:24] Speaker 2: a force man.
[7:25] Speaker 1: Yeah she's gonna be a really good trader all right
[7:28] Speaker 1: let's go let's get into the episode the players arrive
[7:30] Speaker 1: it seems like um the beginning of Harry Potter.
[7:34] Speaker 2: Yeah Hogwarts I mean I'm loving the train station loving
[7:39] Speaker 2: it I.
[7:39] Speaker 1: Am too I mean like so right it's um It's
[7:42] Speaker 1: a storytelling device. We don't know these people. So this
[7:44] Speaker 1: is our opportunity to learn who they are vis-a-vis interviewing
[7:48] Speaker 1: each other on a train. I thought it was very
[7:51] Speaker 1: smart because I was like, how are they going to
[7:52] Speaker 1: do this? Are they going to have intro packages for everyone?
[7:56] Speaker 2: Very smart.
[7:57] Speaker 1: Very cool. Yeah. The train mechanism was good. So we
[8:02] Speaker 1: find out in the beginning that Kim is a lawyer,
[8:06] Speaker 1: but she's telling everyone that she's a college basketball coach
[8:10] Speaker 1: to avoid suspicion. Michael has the opposite approach. He's a lawyer,
[8:14] Speaker 1: but he's not hiding it. If you were a civilian
[8:19] Speaker 1: in this, would you change what your job is on
[8:24] Speaker 1: the show?
[8:26] Speaker 2: No, I just feel if you lie, you're just going
[8:28] Speaker 2: to get bit in the ass by it. And there
[8:30] Speaker 2: was already another attorney there. I think that she was
[8:33] Speaker 2: so well-liked that people wanted her to stick around. So
[8:38] Speaker 2: I don't think it was totally necessary, but I get
[8:40] Speaker 2: where she's coming from. She's like scared. She's like, they're
[8:42] Speaker 2: going to, but she really leaned into the lie. She
[8:45] Speaker 2: had a college picked out. She was talking about it
[8:48] Speaker 2: and we're like, Hmm. I know.
[8:50] Speaker 1: But what happens if like, someone's like, yeah, I went
[8:53] Speaker 1: to Houston.
[8:54] Speaker 2: Right. That's what I, that's what I was thinking. What
[8:57] Speaker 2: if somebody was like, called her out on it?
[8:59] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[8:59] Speaker 2: I don't know.
[9:01] Speaker 1: It was, it's interesting because I mean, you know, we
[9:03] Speaker 1: know what ends up happening and, you know, later in
[9:06] Speaker 1: the episode. So would she have been more on the
[9:10] Speaker 1: chopping block if she was a lawyer or?
[9:13] Speaker 2: I think she should have just, she should have just
[9:17] Speaker 2: been honest. If she wanted to lie about something, go, yeah,
[9:19] Speaker 2: I do HOA law. You know what I mean? Like
[9:21] Speaker 2: something that doesn't really, I'm not a criminal attorney or
[9:25] Speaker 2: anything like that. Oh, I do, you know, I do HOA.
[9:28] Speaker 1: Yeah, it's mainly pro bono work for me. I'm just
[9:30] Speaker 1: trying to get... Yeah, it's just a side hustle. Trying
[9:33] Speaker 1: to get orphans adopted, you know, whatever.
[9:36] Speaker 2: Yes, do something like that.
[9:40] Speaker 1: You don't have to be like a defense attorney for
[9:42] Speaker 1: serial killers. It's okay.
[9:44] Speaker 2: Right.
[9:45] Speaker 1: Alan introduces a new incentive this season with each trader
[9:49] Speaker 1: they banish, the faithfuls will add an extra $ 15, 000 to
[9:53] Speaker 1: the prize pot. Um, this is a good idea.
[9:56] Speaker 2: Um, yeah, more money, more money. Uh, I, I don't know.
[10:01] Speaker 2: Do you think they, they, I know they like to
[10:02] Speaker 2: switch it up and they did switch things up a
[10:04] Speaker 2: lot in the first couple episodes. Um, do you think
[10:07] Speaker 2: it's because nobody can get a trader out until episode six?
[10:11] Speaker 1: I think that's one of them, one of the reasons.
[10:13] Speaker 1: I think the other reason is, especially like in the
[10:17] Speaker 1: season that I was in, season three, it ended with
[10:20] Speaker 1: like a kind of a kumbaya, like, you know, let's
[10:23] Speaker 1: have everyone eat a little bit of the money. Oh, true.
[10:27] Speaker 1: And it didn't leave for that one thing that I
[10:29] Speaker 1: think they wanted, which was someone trying to get another
[10:33] Speaker 1: traitor out, but ends up being a faithful and then
[10:36] Speaker 1: kind of a messed up ending. I think they want
[10:39] Speaker 1: to recreate that. I think that this is more for
[10:42] Speaker 1: the end of the show than it is for the beginning.
[10:43] Speaker 2: Right. It kind of incentivized people like traitors to get
[10:47] Speaker 2: out traitors too.
[10:48] Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
[10:49] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[10:50] Speaker 1: Yeah. The players explore the castle. Victor seems to have
[10:54] Speaker 1: a little crush on Madeline. He says one of his
[10:57] Speaker 1: greatest weaknesses is pretty girls, so he has to separate
[11:00] Speaker 1: church and state.
[11:02] Speaker 2: I thought for sure they were going to be the
[11:04] Speaker 2: castle couple, but we see what happens to Madeline.
[11:06] Speaker 1: I know. I was even hoping for like a Jim
[11:09] Speaker 1: and Pam situation, like will they, won't they for a couple.
[11:12] Speaker 1: I know.
[11:13] Speaker 2: At least for like three good episodes. I mean, it
[11:15] Speaker 2: was exciting to see them running around the castle like
[11:18] Speaker 2: little kids looking. And then you have Logan, who I
[11:21] Speaker 2: like to call Jeffrey Dahmer, who is just walking around
[11:24] Speaker 2: the castle going, zero expression, hands behind the back. I'm like,
[11:31] Speaker 2: you are the first person to go if I was
[11:32] Speaker 2: on that cast because you're creepy ass.
[11:35] Speaker 1: I was thinking the exact same thing. I'm like, for sure.
[11:37] Speaker 1: This guy's going to get taken out. Cause he is just,
[11:40] Speaker 1: he's like lurking.
[11:41] Speaker 2: He's lurking. And then he gets like his fried chicken
[11:44] Speaker 2: at one point. He's like, yeah, this looks good. I'm like,
[11:48] Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
[11:51] Speaker 1: Uh, Alan starts doing the interviews with the cast. Um,
[11:54] Speaker 1: He talks to Joe and you know, Joe has this
[11:57] Speaker 1: one like locked and loaded in the chamber. He's a
[11:59] Speaker 1: funeral director and he can do the murders and get
[12:02] Speaker 1: rid of the bodies too. Did you, did you have
[12:04] Speaker 1: a sit down with Alan that they aired?
[12:06] Speaker 2: They did not air mine. And I was going to
[12:09] Speaker 2: ask you the same thing. Like, what did you say?
[12:11] Speaker 2: And I just remember sitting down there and being like,
[12:13] Speaker 2: what are you going to do with the money? It's like,
[12:17] Speaker 2: so I'm like, well, you know, I don't really count
[12:19] Speaker 2: my money until it's in the bank. You know, I
[12:22] Speaker 2: didn't know what to say.
[12:24] Speaker 1: I think I said, I want to give it to
[12:26] Speaker 1: a philanthropic arm, uh, of like a, like a dog
[12:29] Speaker 1: shelter and try to like get the, Oh.
[12:32] Speaker 2: Because it was dog. And then there was Ben that's like,
[12:35] Speaker 2: you know, the house pig is the new dog. Yeah.
[12:41] Speaker 1: Um, everyone. Um, so we gotta, we gotta select some
[12:44] Speaker 1: traders here. Everyone puts on their blindfolds at the round table.
[12:47] Speaker 1: Alan selects Joe as the first trader and Tamika as
[12:50] Speaker 1: the second, then he announces that another player will join
[12:53] Speaker 1: the traders. And Faithful will be murdered tonight.
[12:57] Speaker 2: What do you think about this whole traitor pick and how,
[13:01] Speaker 2: you know, they're going to have, you know, we don't know,
[13:05] Speaker 2: one or two more traitors come in and we'll find
[13:07] Speaker 2: out later how it works. But is it just them
[13:10] Speaker 2: mixing things up to try to make it more interesting?
[13:12] Speaker 1: I think the most interesting thing that happened in the
[13:16] Speaker 1: last season was like, do you remember Rob was having
[13:20] Speaker 1: to sneak around the house and find something or hide something.
[13:24] Speaker 1: I think it was a murder in plain sight, but
[13:26] Speaker 1: it was like this B storyline. Can Rob get this
[13:29] Speaker 1: thing done? Yes. And I think that the audience loved it.
[13:32] Speaker 2: Loved that.
[13:33] Speaker 1: So this is a mechanism to get more of that
[13:35] Speaker 1: stuff where you're just following someone and see if they
[13:38] Speaker 1: can get something done. Yeah. I think it's genius. I
[13:42] Speaker 1: think it's fun because it lets the traders... choose and
[13:46] Speaker 1: then but it also the stakes are really high for
[13:49] Speaker 1: because both those people want to be traitors right and
[13:53] Speaker 1: they but they do not want to be the second person.
[13:56] Speaker 2: Murdered who do you predict i think it's katie.
[14:00] Speaker 1: I think katie's gonna win she seems like the television
[14:03] Speaker 1: star to me yeah i But they both are big personalities.
[14:07] Speaker 1: It's just so funny. If I wasn't supposed to know
[14:12] Speaker 1: who was who at that murder, I'd be like, well,
[14:17] Speaker 1: that one's 5'1, and that one's 7 feet tall. Right.
[14:21] Speaker 1: Pretty sure I could deduce who these people are.
[14:24] Speaker 2: Very true.
[14:25] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[14:25] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[14:26] Speaker 1: The players have their first mission. They're searching a shipwreck
[14:30] Speaker 1: for gold, $ 50, 000 in the line, three shields up for grabs.
[14:35] Speaker 1: Victor immediately prioritized getting a shield over helping collecting money.
[14:39] Speaker 1: Abby L and Madeline take the two other shields, but
[14:42] Speaker 1: they kind of wait and that becomes important later on
[14:44] Speaker 1: in the episode.
[14:45] Speaker 2: What do you think about, is it just too early
[14:48] Speaker 2: to just go run for the shield and grab it?
[14:51] Speaker 2: It's going to put a target on your back?
[14:53] Speaker 1: You know, it's interesting because You can argue it both ways.
[14:56] Speaker 1: You can be like, I'm not a traitor. And so
[14:59] Speaker 1: I want to ensure that I'm not going to be
[15:02] Speaker 1: murdered tonight. But then you can say, well, if I
[15:04] Speaker 1: was a traitor, I might use that and say that.
[15:08] Speaker 1: So then people don't think that, you know, it's like
[15:09] Speaker 1: I can see it. I could see it both ways.
[15:11] Speaker 1: The most important thing about these missions for me is
[15:15] Speaker 1: showcasing your value in helping the collective make the money,
[15:21] Speaker 1: you know? Yeah.
[15:22] Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think that's where he screwed up is
[15:25] Speaker 2: that he just ran beeline for that and took it.
[15:28] Speaker 2: And it was either like, you know, either he's a
[15:31] Speaker 2: traitor or he's just a selfish butthole. Yeah.
[15:36] Speaker 1: Do you think that that's grounds to get banished?
[15:41] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[15:41] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[15:42] Speaker 2: Early on, you know how it is. Early on, nobody
[15:44] Speaker 2: has anything to go off of. So they're going off
[15:46] Speaker 2: of sweaty boy and heavy breathing and things like that.
[15:51] Speaker 2: So that's going to give them a reason. They're like,
[15:54] Speaker 2: you know what? If you're not a traitor, you are
[15:56] Speaker 2: a selfish faithful.
[15:58] Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, I think the way that I would probably
[16:01] Speaker 1: play it is I would help as much as I
[16:04] Speaker 1: could in the beginning. And I think, and be also
[16:07] Speaker 1: like hyper aware of who's getting them. And then after
[16:10] Speaker 1: maybe the second one was gotten, I might try to
[16:13] Speaker 1: make a dash for the third. Yeah.
[16:15] Speaker 2: I just needed somebody to eat the raw salmon off
[16:18] Speaker 2: those nicely displayed silver platters when they opened up. I'm like,
[16:22] Speaker 2: come on, somebody take a bite. You know, somebody put
[16:23] Speaker 2: that together.
[16:24] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[16:25] Speaker 2: I've been sitting out there all day.
[16:35] Speaker 1: The traders meet in the turret for the first time.
[16:38] Speaker 1: Joe and Tamika discover that they're working together and they
[16:40] Speaker 1: both seem pretty happy about it. Alan reveals the twist.
[16:43] Speaker 1: They must choose two players to compete for. The remaining
[16:47] Speaker 1: trader position won't become a trader and the other will
[16:49] Speaker 1: be murdered. That's savage. It's so savage. It's so fun.
[16:53] Speaker 1: If you're in the turret, let's say you're Tamika here.
[16:55] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[16:56] Speaker 1: Joe. what are we thinking in terms of who the
[17:00] Speaker 1: two people are that we want to buy to become traders?
[17:04] Speaker 1: Like what are the qualifications?
[17:05] Speaker 2: Well, I didn't do very well at the show. So
[17:07] Speaker 2: I'm just going to throw that out there first. I
[17:14] Speaker 2: think like you have to have, you know, I don't know.
[17:16] Speaker 2: There's a couple of ways of looking at it. You
[17:18] Speaker 2: have a good person at big personality. You know, what
[17:21] Speaker 2: the viewers don't know is, These two have spent a
[17:24] Speaker 2: lot of time at this point with everybody. As viewers,
[17:27] Speaker 2: we don't know them like they do. And so they
[17:31] Speaker 2: obviously saw something in Katie, for sure. And you could
[17:35] Speaker 2: see the more the time goes on, she's got something.
[17:38] Speaker 2: I don't know what it is because it's too soon.
[17:41] Speaker 2: And then you just have Xavier, who's just a big guy.
[17:45] Speaker 2: It's just I think it's a tough decision who to pick. Like,
[17:52] Speaker 2: what if you just pick like Jeffrey Dahmer, who's just
[17:55] Speaker 2: quiet and maybe there's no suspicion on him. I don't know. Yeah.
[17:59] Speaker 1: To me, that would be like a sacrificial lamb that
[18:01] Speaker 1: you're bringing into the turret because you know that there'll
[18:03] Speaker 1: be a shield for you because he'll probably get voted out.
[18:07] Speaker 2: And there's that one guy that we haven't seen much of, Mark,
[18:10] Speaker 2: the personal trainer. Very, very quiet. One person I wouldn't
[18:14] Speaker 2: have picked was.
[18:16] Speaker 1: Christy.
[18:18] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[18:18] Speaker 1: Well, listen, you know, my theory of like, if you
[18:21] Speaker 1: don't see someone early on in a season, that means
[18:24] Speaker 1: they're going a long way because a lot of their
[18:26] Speaker 1: storylines happening in, you know, the second and third act.
[18:29] Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm actually really proud of Ben because he's kind
[18:33] Speaker 2: of keeping a low profile and he's a big guy. Yeah.
[18:36] Speaker 1: And with a big personality, it seems like. Yeah. Yes.
[18:38] Speaker 2: And he's just keeping a low profile, which is very,
[18:41] Speaker 2: very smart.
[18:42] Speaker 1: I think that what the traders did in picking both teams,
[18:48] Speaker 1: katie and xavier i think that was smart one because
[18:53] Speaker 1: katie's young so she can um she can kind of
[18:58] Speaker 1: empathize with the younger cast yeah help them uh with
[19:03] Speaker 1: information like it's like they're diversifying who's in the turret
[19:07] Speaker 1: and then i think xavier's a really good pick because
[19:11] Speaker 1: of his size that like, you know, he's going to
[19:13] Speaker 1: continue to get you more and more money in the challenges.
[19:17] Speaker 1: So it's almost like a win-win. Like it doesn't really
[19:19] Speaker 1: matter who wins. I was interested to see if they
[19:23] Speaker 1: wouldn't throw someone in there that they kind of wanted
[19:26] Speaker 1: to murder anyways, you know, like they were already concerned
[19:30] Speaker 1: about and then it would be.
[19:33] Speaker 2: So this murder is going to happen on, Episode three. Yeah.
[19:38] Speaker 1: Okay.
[19:38] Speaker 2: Because I was confused at first. I thought that they
[19:40] Speaker 2: had to murder somebody and then pick the two. And
[19:44] Speaker 2: out of that too, that was the person that was
[19:46] Speaker 2: going to be murdered, but no, it was not, not
[19:49] Speaker 2: one of them.
[19:50] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[19:51] Speaker 2: Kim.
[19:52] Speaker 1: Uh, the episode ends with the accomplices identities not being, uh,
[19:57] Speaker 1: revealed episode two. We finally learned the identity of the
[20:01] Speaker 1: two accomplices. It is, yes, it is young Katie and
[20:04] Speaker 1: tall Xavier.
[20:05] Speaker 2: Uh, Now when they were in the forest and they had,
[20:11] Speaker 2: I assume it was Kim's body in the coffin.
[20:14] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[20:15] Speaker 2: And then they, it was the two of them with
[20:17] Speaker 2: axes like sending her off. And it's like crying, crying river,
[20:23] Speaker 2: which had that Justin Timberlake song. I'm like, Oh my God. Okay.
[20:29] Speaker 1: So this is a, this is a behind the scenes
[20:32] Speaker 1: producerial question that I want to ask you. You think
[20:34] Speaker 1: that Kim was really there? No, no.
[20:37] Speaker 2: No.
[20:38] Speaker 1: It's some handler they threw in that cloak. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[20:42] Speaker 2: There's probably nobody in there.
[20:44] Speaker 1: I did like the mechanism of them sending her down
[20:47] Speaker 1: the river, you know? I know. Like in Hades or something.
[20:51] Speaker 2: Yeah. I swear, it gets better and better every season.
[20:55] Speaker 1: Yeah. uh xavier targets his competition he starts casting suspicion
[21:00] Speaker 1: on katie immediately hoping her banishment will clear his path
[21:03] Speaker 1: to becoming a traitor uh he does this in front
[21:06] Speaker 1: of joe and tamika not knowing they're the other traitors
[21:11] Speaker 1: you think this is a smart play or do you
[21:13] Speaker 1: think you should try to keep a low profile i.
[21:15] Speaker 2: Think you should shut up i do too it's just
[21:18] Speaker 2: stupid and joe needs to shut up too oh my
[21:21] Speaker 2: god And then Tamika, she was like, do you think
[21:25] Speaker 2: someone got murdered last night? No shit, girl. Say less.
[21:30] Speaker 2: You knew somebody was going to get murdered. Sometimes you
[21:32] Speaker 2: say too much. And then Joe's like, I'm going to
[21:34] Speaker 2: keep it cool like the Fonz. And I'm like, no,
[21:37] Speaker 2: you're not.
[21:38] Speaker 1: No, not at all.
[21:39] Speaker 2: You're not going to. And then they do that early
[21:42] Speaker 2: roundtable situation where we normally would do it at night.
[21:46] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[21:46] Speaker 2: They're like, nope, you're going to murder somebody now. Or
[21:49] Speaker 2: banish somebody now.
[21:50] Speaker 1: Yeah. You know, Joe, I don't know if you remember
[21:52] Speaker 1: on season one, there was a civilian named Christian who
[21:56] Speaker 1: wore like a big hat and he was like a
[21:58] Speaker 1: big personality.
[21:59] Speaker 2: Yes.
[21:59] Speaker 1: That was a traitor.
[22:00] Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
[22:00] Speaker 1: Who was giving Christian vibes.
[22:03] Speaker 2: Uh-huh. Yeah. I was bummed to see Kim gone because
[22:06] Speaker 2: I just, I wanted to see more of her. Yeah.
[22:09] Speaker 2: But it's always sucks to be the first one to
[22:12] Speaker 2: go home.
[22:12] Speaker 1: I know.
[22:13] Speaker 2: Or the second.
[22:16] Speaker 1: Tell me about it.
[22:18] Speaker 2: Sorry.
[22:18] Speaker 1: You know what's funny is that to fast forward to
[22:23] Speaker 1: that round table, I'm sitting there being like, I was Victor.
[22:27] Speaker 1: I was like the nice looking guy who's like, wait, what?
[22:33] Speaker 1: What's happening?
[22:36] Speaker 2: He cracked me up at the round table. I'm a
[22:39] Speaker 2: sweaty boy.
[22:41] Speaker 1: Those exact words, by the way.
[22:43] Speaker 2: I hope he makes it far. I think now. somebody
[22:46] Speaker 2: else has put a target on their back. And I'm
[22:48] Speaker 2: hoping that he, because he kind of has a funny
[22:51] Speaker 2: quirky personality. Like he had no idea, like going and
[22:54] Speaker 2: grabbing that shield immediately meant anything.
[22:58] Speaker 1: He's like, what do you mean? Yeah.
[23:00] Speaker 2: Why wouldn't I?
[23:01] Speaker 1: This is a good argument. Like we talking about, I
[23:05] Speaker 1: thought we'd try to not die.
[23:07] Speaker 2: Exactly. Exactly. But you have to be a little bit
[23:10] Speaker 2: more strategic.
[23:10] Speaker 1: Yeah. Meanwhile, the players are discussing the first murder. Madeline
[23:14] Speaker 1: says she would feel bad for picking Kim to be murdered.
[23:18] Speaker 1: But Christy hears her say, I feel bad picking Kim,
[23:22] Speaker 1: which makes her think that Madeline slipped up and revealed
[23:25] Speaker 1: her identity as a traitor. Christy tells multiple people what
[23:28] Speaker 1: she heard and everyone starts to become suspicious of Madeline.
[23:32] Speaker 1: Did you hear what Christy heard or did you hear?
[23:36] Speaker 2: No, I mean, I use subtitles, but they bleep something
[23:40] Speaker 2: out even on the subtitles that you can see, hear
[23:43] Speaker 2: what she said or read what she said. So I
[23:47] Speaker 2: would have wished that Christy would have said, wait, what
[23:49] Speaker 2: did you just say?
[23:50] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[23:51] Speaker 2: So she could either clarify it because it's so early on,
[23:55] Speaker 2: it's so hard to pick somebody. And why didn't Madeline
[23:59] Speaker 2: at the time, like just at the round table, be like,
[24:03] Speaker 2: why would I do that?
[24:05] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[24:05] Speaker 2: Why would I be so stupid? Like she didn't help
[24:08] Speaker 2: herself at all. Yeah.
[24:10] Speaker 1: I got to say though, I could definitely see her
[24:12] Speaker 1: being a traitor. She's really, really pretty. Yep. I bet
[24:17] Speaker 1: you cameras were on her a lot in the beginning.
[24:19] Speaker 1: I could kind of see how... how a lot of
[24:21] Speaker 1: people thought both of them, Victor and Madeline were traitors together.
[24:26] Speaker 2: But if you watch some of the other seasons, like
[24:29] Speaker 2: we had Peppermint who slipped and said something and then got,
[24:34] Speaker 2: you know, banished for that. I think if you studied
[24:37] Speaker 2: the shows long enough, it's happened a few times. Christy
[24:40] Speaker 2: should have said like, well, wait, what did you just say?
[24:44] Speaker 1: Yeah. Apparently I said something. I don't remember this, but
[24:48] Speaker 1: Boston Robb, after the, he wasn't a trader yet. We
[24:55] Speaker 1: were driving back after a mission and we were both
[24:58] Speaker 1: in the back. And apparently I said something that made
[25:01] Speaker 1: him think that I was a trader. Yeah. Then he
[25:04] Speaker 1: became a trader that night and realized that I wasn't.
[25:06] Speaker 1: So like, it wasn't a storyline, but if he was
[25:08] Speaker 1: a faithful, he was.
[25:09] Speaker 2: Oh, interesting.
[25:11] Speaker 1: You said, you said this in the car.
[25:13] Speaker 2: And I was like, I think every single season, somebody slipped. Yeah.
[25:17] Speaker 2: So I don't know in the future, just like, Maybe ask. Yeah.
[25:21] Speaker 2: I would have asked. Yeah. Would you have asked? Like,
[25:24] Speaker 2: what did you say? Can you clarify that? Yeah.
[25:29] Speaker 1: The problem is, is that, well, so I wish that
[25:33] Speaker 1: she had asked because it would have put a pin
[25:35] Speaker 1: in it for Victor, right? Because her only accomplice in
[25:39] Speaker 1: the whole thing is Victor.
[25:40] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[25:41] Speaker 1: To have heard it, right? Because it's a, he said,
[25:42] Speaker 1: she said, and then you have one other guy. So
[25:44] Speaker 1: you have to put a pin in that to be like, wait,
[25:46] Speaker 1: hold on. What did you, did I just hear you say, Victor,
[25:49] Speaker 1: did you hear that? And then when she accuses Madeline
[25:54] Speaker 1: of this at the roundtable and she also asks Victor,
[25:57] Speaker 1: then at least Victor can be like, ah, I heard it,
[26:00] Speaker 1: but I don't know if that's what she said. You know, like.
[26:02] Speaker 2: Well, Victor's like his face, nothing changed when she said it.
[26:06] Speaker 2: So it's. Then at the round table, he's like, I
[26:10] Speaker 2: didn't hear that.
[26:11] Speaker 1: I mean, I can tell from experience when you don't
[26:13] Speaker 1: think you're on the chopping block and then all of
[26:15] Speaker 1: a sudden, like everyone's against you. It's really nerve wracking.
[26:19] Speaker 1: This is really spiraling out of control. I think that's
[26:22] Speaker 1: kind of what happened to both Madeline and Victor. Everyone
[26:26] Speaker 1: at the round table also scrutinizing Victor for getting that
[26:29] Speaker 1: shield so early in the mission. Right.
[26:32] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[26:34] Speaker 1: Christy brings up the supposed confession, shifting the conversation towards her.
[26:39] Speaker 1: You know what was interesting about this? Is that Christy
[26:44] Speaker 1: and Xavier both pipe up at the same time, and
[26:47] Speaker 1: Christy goes, like, I want to go first. And that
[26:50] Speaker 1: was the moment that Xavier was going to be like,
[26:53] Speaker 1: Katie's a traitor.
[26:55] Speaker 2: Oh, you think so?
[26:56] Speaker 1: Yes, 100%.
[26:57] Speaker 2: Oh.
[26:58] Speaker 1: And then that happened and it was like, okay, the
[27:01] Speaker 1: room has shifted. I can't even try to do this
[27:03] Speaker 1: to her, you know?
[27:03] Speaker 2: It's probably best that he didn't.
[27:07] Speaker 1: A hundred percent.
[27:09] Speaker 2: But just how much he wants to call her out,
[27:12] Speaker 2: I think it's going to hurt him. And I think,
[27:14] Speaker 2: you know, with Tamika, she saw that and she made
[27:19] Speaker 2: a comment. She's like, well, I don't really want a
[27:21] Speaker 2: traitor that's going to come after me.
[27:22] Speaker 1: Yeah. Exactly.
[27:25] Speaker 2: I don't think he's going to win, but I, you know,
[27:27] Speaker 2: who knows? It could be wrong. Yeah.
[27:29] Speaker 1: It definitely seems like, okay, if you guys are both
[27:31] Speaker 1: kind of like traders in, you know, in practice right now,
[27:37] Speaker 1: it sounds like you're one of the people that goes
[27:39] Speaker 1: after traders and we don't want that. We don't want
[27:42] Speaker 1: trader on trader hate. Yeah.
[27:45] Speaker 2: Well, I have a question for you. Madeline, um, So
[27:50] Speaker 2: Victor stood up for Madeline and didn't write her name down. Yeah.
[27:55] Speaker 2: But Madeline did not stick up for Victor. Do you
[27:58] Speaker 2: think that that was a smart move? She probably thought
[28:00] Speaker 2: it was between the two of them.
[28:02] Speaker 1: Yeah. So she was counting numbers. He wasn't. It's something
[28:05] Speaker 1: that I wish I had done because the numbers came
[28:07] Speaker 1: down to, I had, I think, seven votes. I think
[28:10] Speaker 1: Robin had six and Ivers had six. I knew there
[28:15] Speaker 1: was heat on Ivers. And I remember thinking if I
[28:19] Speaker 1: just voted for him, he would have gotten the seventh
[28:22] Speaker 1: vote and I would have been safe. Right. I wasn't
[28:24] Speaker 1: thinking that way. I was thinking like, you know, I
[28:28] Speaker 1: was angry about how things went down. So I was
[28:30] Speaker 1: trying to go after Robin. And that's exactly what Victor did.
[28:34] Speaker 1: He voted for Christy because he was like, I don't
[28:38] Speaker 1: know if that's true. And then Adeline was smart enough
[28:41] Speaker 1: to be like, I got to play numbers here. Sorry, buddy. Yeah.
[28:44] Speaker 2: So it was a smart move.
[28:45] Speaker 1: I think so.
[28:46] Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know that I would have done that though.
[28:49] Speaker 2: I don't know that I would think like that.
[28:53] Speaker 1: But ultimately Madeline receives 13 votes and is banished from
[28:56] Speaker 1: the castle at the circle of truth. She calls Christie
[29:00] Speaker 1: a liar. I know right there and reveals that she
[29:04] Speaker 1: is a faithful after the banishment. Christie becomes emotional, obviously
[29:08] Speaker 1: because she was so wrong about Madeline.
[29:10] Speaker 2: She's all, I'm not a liar. I'm not a liar.
[29:13] Speaker 2: And Victor's like, you're not a good hearer either.
[29:15] Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that's such a good line. He's got a
[29:17] Speaker 1: lot of good one liners.
[29:18] Speaker 2: Yeah. But how about afterwards? This is like, threw me
[29:23] Speaker 2: a little bit. You know, Christie's all upset. Joe's hugging
[29:27] Speaker 2: her and he's saying, don't worry. No one is holding
[29:29] Speaker 2: it against you. And the ones that do don't matter.
[29:32] Speaker 2: I'm like, is that smart for a traitor to say that.
[29:37] Speaker 1: Yeah i don't know i don't know if joe's just
[29:38] Speaker 1: trying to be everyone's best friend yeah gotta know if
[29:43] Speaker 1: he has any brains he's gotta know that she's definitely
[29:48] Speaker 1: probably going home next episode in the round table right yeah.
[29:54] Speaker 2: Yeah i would think so i mean you never know
[29:56] Speaker 2: you know how things just switch and yeah Somebody else
[29:59] Speaker 2: gets suspicion on someone else and it can turn around
[30:02] Speaker 2: so quickly. But if it doesn't, then she's gone.
[30:07] Speaker 1: Yeah, I think she's gone. And then I think they
[30:11] Speaker 1: might go back to Victor. That's how I would think
[30:15] Speaker 1: about it. The accomplices face their final test. This is
[30:25] Speaker 1: very fun. Katie and Xavier must retrieve a hidden death
[30:28] Speaker 1: warrants from two copies of Crime and Punishment, which are
[30:31] Speaker 1: hidden in the castle. They have until the final clock
[30:34] Speaker 1: chimes to complete the task. Are you on with these
[30:38] Speaker 1: side quests? Yeah.
[30:40] Speaker 2: I think it's cute. I think it's fun. You're like
[30:43] Speaker 2: wanting to yell at the TV at one point. I'm like, Xavier,
[30:45] Speaker 2: just pull the book off and just look like you're
[30:47] Speaker 2: just looking like no big deal. Like open it up
[30:50] Speaker 2: just to see if you can find it in there
[30:52] Speaker 2: and then close it. Could he like have shoved it
[30:56] Speaker 2: in his shirt and like walked in the bathroom or
[30:58] Speaker 2: he had to do it in plain sight?
[31:01] Speaker 1: I was thinking the same thing. I was like, what
[31:02] Speaker 1: I would have done was I would have put that
[31:04] Speaker 1: in my, in like, Yeah, shoving your pants. And I
[31:07] Speaker 1: would have gone to the bathroom.
[31:10] Speaker 2: Yes. But then I was wondering like, oh, do they
[31:13] Speaker 2: have to do it in front of everyone? And of
[31:15] Speaker 2: course we don't get to see, you know, there's two
[31:17] Speaker 2: different rooms, two different books. And is it just, what
[31:21] Speaker 2: are they looking for? Just a piece of paper?
[31:23] Speaker 1: Well, I guess, yeah, it's a death warrant. I mean,
[31:26] Speaker 1: Katie gets really close where she's like going through the
[31:28] Speaker 1: book and isn't able to find it. You got to
[31:30] Speaker 1: do that thing where you take the, you know, shake it. Yeah.
[31:34] Speaker 1: Shake it.
[31:35] Speaker 2: Well, that's why I was like, I would have just
[31:36] Speaker 2: like grabbed the book, like just looking at the books
[31:38] Speaker 2: and go, Oh, look at this and just kind of
[31:39] Speaker 2: look through it. See if you can find it, put
[31:41] Speaker 2: it back. Just so you kind of know.
[31:42] Speaker 1: I also have been like, you know what I probably
[31:45] Speaker 1: would have done. I would have probably been like, man,
[31:46] Speaker 1: this library is so, so vast. And then like gone
[31:49] Speaker 1: and looked at like other books and going through other books,
[31:52] Speaker 1: you know, and then like, Oh, this is a great one.
[31:55] Speaker 2: I read that.
[31:56] Speaker 1: I read that back in ninth grade.
[32:00] Speaker 2: Yeah. I, but the bathroom thing theory, I think maybe
[32:03] Speaker 2: they probably couldn't do it. They probably have to do
[32:05] Speaker 2: it right there in broad daylight in front of everyone.
[32:07] Speaker 1: I got a feeling production was like, all right, you
[32:09] Speaker 1: got to do this, but we have to get it
[32:11] Speaker 1: on camera. So you can't like go. Yeah.
[32:13] Speaker 2: You can't go run into the bathroom or the, or
[32:15] Speaker 2: the cameras are coming in.
[32:17] Speaker 1: Yeah. Until the final clock chimes to complete the task.
[32:22] Speaker 1: Do you think that anyone did it? I got to
[32:26] Speaker 1: believe somebody did it. I know.
[32:28] Speaker 2: What if they both did it?
[32:30] Speaker 1: Yeah, then it just comes down to who do you
[32:31] Speaker 1: want on your team, I guess, as a traitor.
[32:35] Speaker 2: Is this the final? Like if one doesn't get it,
[32:38] Speaker 2: they're gone? Or do the traitors get to pick who's
[32:43] Speaker 2: going to be murdered?
[32:44] Speaker 1: Well, I don't know. So the way that the super
[32:46] Speaker 1: tease ends at the end of the show is that
[32:48] Speaker 1: the traitors, Alan, and then the two potential traitors are there.
[32:53] Speaker 1: And he says something to the effect of like, all right,
[32:56] Speaker 1: who was able to get the death warrant? Yeah. So
[32:59] Speaker 1: it implies that if you don't have the death warrant,
[33:03] Speaker 1: I guess that is your death warrant. And if you do,
[33:07] Speaker 1: then you have the potential to be picked as a traitor.
[33:11] Speaker 1: What's interesting, and this is what I think is going
[33:13] Speaker 1: to happen, is that they're both going to have it.
[33:16] Speaker 2: And then what? So then they just choose who dies?
[33:20] Speaker 1: Yeah. And then I think you, I mean, who do
[33:22] Speaker 1: you pick? I don't know. If they both have it,
[33:24] Speaker 1: who do you pick?
[33:26] Speaker 2: I just have a feeling Katie is going to be
[33:28] Speaker 2: a traitor.
[33:29] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[33:29] Speaker 2: I think it's the young part that they want. And
[33:33] Speaker 2: Tamika had said something about having young eyes. And then
[33:36] Speaker 2: I think what Xavier did trying to, you know, run
[33:42] Speaker 2: over Katie is not going to be a good look
[33:44] Speaker 2: for him at the end.
[33:45] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[33:46] Speaker 2: Now, you know, the traitor season five, is it five
[33:50] Speaker 2: or six? There's a new celebrity cast out.
[33:53] Speaker 1: Yeah, my buddy Joey Grazadeh is on it.
[33:55] Speaker 2: Really?
[33:56] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[33:57] Speaker 2: So it's an exciting cast. Kristen Chenoweth, Dominic. Some of
[34:02] Speaker 2: these people I don't even know. Chloe. I obviously know
[34:08] Speaker 2: the Bravo people, Cynthia Bailey, who's going to be great.
[34:12] Speaker 2: Bronwyn Newport, she's on there, another housewife. Craig from Southern Charm, excited.
[34:19] Speaker 2: Just interviewed him a couple weeks ago. Um, so there,
[34:23] Speaker 2: I think they're going to film, they're filming now.
[34:26] Speaker 1: They are. Yeah. I, I knew, um, I knew Joey
[34:30] Speaker 1: Grazadeh was going to be on the show. Cause we
[34:32] Speaker 1: were supposed to play in a golf tournament and he
[34:33] Speaker 1: was like, I gotta go. And I'm like, where.
[34:35] Speaker 2: Are you going? He was on the bachelor, right?
[34:37] Speaker 1: Yeah. He was the bachelor. He won with the stars. Um,
[34:40] Speaker 1: It'll be interesting.
[34:40] Speaker 2: Oh, okay. I know who he is.
[34:42] Speaker 1: It'll be interesting to see if they make, I would
[34:44] Speaker 1: make him a trader because I think you would want
[34:47] Speaker 1: him on your TV screens and he's so lovable. Um,
[34:50] Speaker 1: but I think that if you are that in traders
[34:53] Speaker 1: and you are just a faithful through, you know, so.
[34:58] Speaker 2: We're going to be busy. So if this is filming
[35:00] Speaker 2: right now, when does it air normally? Like after the
[35:04] Speaker 2: first of the year, don't they have a pretty quick turnaround?
[35:07] Speaker 1: Scheduled to premiere in 2027. So yeah, it's usually like
[35:11] Speaker 1: right in the beginning of the year.
[35:12] Speaker 2: Yeah. January.
[35:15] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[35:15] Speaker 2: January. So that's good.
[35:18] Speaker 1: Yeah. That's good.
[35:18] Speaker 2: Do we know how many episodes this, the new blood has?
[35:23] Speaker 2: Is it the same? Do you notice they're only 40 minutes?
[35:27] Speaker 1: Or was it short?
[35:29] Speaker 2: They're shorter. They're only 40, 42 minutes.
[35:31] Speaker 1: I have with commercial. 12 episodes in this one. That's
[35:37] Speaker 1: why I feel like the old ones were 11, 10 episodes.
[35:41] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[35:42] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[35:43] Speaker 2: So I kind of like it 40 minutes.
[35:46] Speaker 1: I do too.
[35:46] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[35:47] Speaker 1: More palatable.
[35:48] Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. Cut out the, the fluff stuff. Just give
[35:51] Speaker 2: us the good stuff.
[35:52] Speaker 1: You know, what's one thing that was weird to me?
[35:54] Speaker 2: What?
[35:56] Speaker 1: I don't know if you noticed it, but like the
[35:58] Speaker 1: guys from Harry Potter were like in the beginning.
[36:01] Speaker 2: What?
[36:02] Speaker 1: What?
[36:03] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[36:04] Speaker 1: The two twins that opened the candy store.
[36:07] Speaker 2: They showed them.
[36:08] Speaker 1: Yeah. They're at the castle. Like Alan calls them and
[36:11] Speaker 1: he's like, get the castle ready or something like that.
[36:13] Speaker 1: And I'm like, what are they doing here? And then
[36:15] Speaker 1: you never see them again.
[36:16] Speaker 2: Oh, so they just made it. They just wanted to
[36:19] Speaker 2: give it that Hogwarts kind of feel.
[36:21] Speaker 1: Or they're good.
[36:22] Speaker 2: I miss that.
[36:23] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[36:24] Speaker 2: I have to go back and watch, but I'm not
[36:26] Speaker 2: a big Harry Potter person.
[36:28] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[36:28] Speaker 2: Like obviously I've seen some of them, but so I
[36:30] Speaker 2: probably wouldn't have known the twins.
[36:32] Speaker 1: Yeah. Um, yeah, it's, it's, it's, it's Ron's older brothers,
[36:38] Speaker 1: I believe. Oh, yeah.
[36:40] Speaker 2: Very cool. Um, all right.
[36:42] Speaker 1: This is, this is so fun that this is back traders,
[36:45] Speaker 1: new blood. If you guys aren't watching the show alongside us,
[36:49] Speaker 1: you need to, you're not that far behind. There's only
[36:51] Speaker 1: two episodes out right now. Again, we'll be back next
[36:54] Speaker 1: week to recap episode three. If you're not following us
[36:57] Speaker 1: on social media, please do app by order of the faithfuls. T,
[37:02] Speaker 1: it's so good to have you back. I know.
[37:04] Speaker 2: It's good to have the band back. And we'll have
[37:07] Speaker 2: Dolores next week. I think she's traveling this week.
[37:11] Speaker 1: She's a busy girl.
[37:12] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[37:13] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[37:13] Speaker 2: And you guys have been doing podcasts together. right?
[37:17] Speaker 1: We've been doing, we've been recapping a bunch of weird shows.
[37:20] Speaker 1: One was about nannies who, uh, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
[37:24] Speaker 2: But you, you guys went from traders to survivor.
[37:27] Speaker 1: Survivor was very fun.
[37:29] Speaker 2: And they asked me if I said, no, thank you. No,
[37:35] Speaker 2: thank you. But, um, yeah, glad that traders is back.
[37:39] Speaker 2: So excited. So we'll be with you for a while.
[37:42] Speaker 2: So we have 12 weeks with new blood and then
[37:47] Speaker 2: won't be that long before season, is it six? I
[37:51] Speaker 2: can't remember.
[37:51] Speaker 1: Season five.
[37:52] Speaker 2: Five, five comes out.
[37:54] Speaker 1: Or maybe it's six. I don't know if this is considered.
[37:57] Speaker 2: Five, yeah, that's what I was wondering.
[37:58] Speaker 1: Five because it's civilians. Last question I've got for you.
[38:02] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[38:03] Speaker 1: Of the traders and the two potential new traders, who
[38:06] Speaker 1: do you think the first trader to be banished will be?
[38:09] Speaker 2: Oh, okay. I'm afraid that possibly Joe is going to
[38:15] Speaker 2: get banished just because he has a big mouth and
[38:17] Speaker 2: he can't help himself.
[38:19] Speaker 1: I know.
[38:21] Speaker 2: I'm fearful of that because I really like him.
[38:23] Speaker 1: I know. He's such a big personality, but I think
[38:26] Speaker 1: he's going to trip up. We'll see.
[38:28] Speaker 2: Who do you think so far is going to be
[38:30] Speaker 2: doing commercials, getting those Cheez-It commercial or whatever it is?
[38:35] Speaker 1: Katie? Katie? I think seems like a star.
[38:42] Speaker 2: If Joe makes it for a while, I think he
[38:44] Speaker 2: will too.
[38:45] Speaker 1: Yep. And then if Victor can somehow get out of this,
[38:49] Speaker 1: he's got a million dollar smile and he's a sweaty boy.
[38:51] Speaker 1: I feel like he could sell some like deodorant.
[38:56] Speaker 2: Deodorant. Exactly. Exactly. You're so right about that. Axe for
[39:02] Speaker 2: men or whatever it is.
[39:04] Speaker 1: Hold on. We can get this guy for cheap right now.
[39:10] Speaker 2: So true. So true. Well, it was nice reconnecting and
[39:15] Speaker 2: we'll see you next week. Yeah.
[39:17] Speaker 1: If you guys aren't following us again on social media,
[39:19] Speaker 1: please do. And DM us any questions, concerns, or comments
[39:21] Speaker 1: you've got about this season of, of traders new blood.
