[0:02] Speaker 1: Two T's in a pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge.
[0:09] Speaker 2: Hi guys, welcome to another episode of The Twat Seat
[0:12] Speaker 2: with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge. And we have
[0:15] Speaker 2: a special guest with us here today.
[0:16] Speaker 3: I know, one that actually made us nervous.
[0:18] Speaker 2: I know, we're all nerved up.
[0:19] Speaker 4: We literally went into the bathroom when we were talking
[0:22] Speaker 4: and Teddy's like, I'm actually nervous for this interview. We
[0:26] Speaker 4: don't ever get nervous. No, because rumor has it you
[0:29] Speaker 4: storm out of interviews. Have you ever stormed out of
[0:32] Speaker 4: an interview?
[0:32] Speaker 3: Because we heard that.
[0:33] Speaker 1: Never in my life.
[0:34] Speaker 2: You've never gotten mad and left a couch or anything?
[0:38] Speaker 1: No. You would see it. Everything I do is filmed.
[0:40] Speaker 1: Where is that rumor from?
[0:42] Speaker 2: Did you just dream of that?
[0:43] Speaker 1: Is that from Facebook? Like the AI tabloids? I googled
[0:48] Speaker 1: what questions to ask you. Guys, Facebook's not real.
[0:50] Speaker 2: It's not. No, there's... I googled AI what questions to
[0:55] Speaker 2: ask you and they were like, don't push him too
[0:56] Speaker 2: hard or he will walk out.
[0:58] Speaker 1: No, I'm like, that's... Guys, you're getting, okay, we need
[1:01] Speaker 1: to have a talk. Okay, let's have a talk. Give
[1:03] Speaker 1: us a talk. So Facebook has these AI bots.
[1:07] Speaker 3: Oh, I know.
[1:08] Speaker 1: That basically create clickbaity stuff. Yes.
[1:12] Speaker 3: I'm getting divorced every week on that.
[1:14] Speaker 1: Yes, so you know, remember like Star Magazine, like the
[1:16] Speaker 1: aliens are here or like so-and-so had an affair, like
[1:19] Speaker 1: Pam Anderson had an affair with an alien. You assume
[1:22] Speaker 1: that people know it's not real.
[1:24] Speaker 3: Right.
[1:25] Speaker 1: But the problem is, and I've been talking to my like,
[1:29] Speaker 1: With my publicists, because they're like, Craig, no one reads
[1:32] Speaker 1: that stuff. Apparently, Teddy does. I do. But I was like, guys,
[1:35] Speaker 1: there's 300 comments on it.
[1:36] Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
[1:37] Speaker 1: And there's no, we've talked to Facebook. Like, there's no way.
[1:40] Speaker 1: You just have to let people just have.
[1:42] Speaker 2: To know it's not real.
[1:43] Speaker 3: Well, evidently, I do know somebody that tried to go
[1:45] Speaker 3: after them.
[1:46] Speaker 4: And evidently it's somebody overseas and they can't make the connection.
[1:51] Speaker 1: No. They can't stop it.
[1:52] Speaker 4: So do we do a class action lawsuit against Mark Zuckerberg?
[1:56] Speaker 1: Essentially it's going to– like when I've seen some get
[1:59] Speaker 1: so bad and, again, people are engaging with it. So
[2:03] Speaker 1: you're like– Yes. Yes. Is it just going to get
[2:05] Speaker 1: to the point where.
[2:06] Speaker 2: I feel so bad for you guys, but I get messages,
[2:08] Speaker 2: are you okay? We read you're dying.
[2:10] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[2:11] Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm good this week.
[2:12] Speaker 1: Well, everything's perspective, you know? Right, right.
[2:15] Speaker 3: My husband's a gambler. I'm a cheater.
[2:18] Speaker 1: Like, every week it's something new. No, I have a
[2:20] Speaker 1: friend that I did a show with, and she texted
[2:23] Speaker 1: me and was like, oh, my God. Like, I'm sorry. Like,
[2:25] Speaker 1: I didn't realize. Something like that. And it was the
[2:27] Speaker 1: same thing. And I couldn't put it together. And I
[2:29] Speaker 1: was like, where did you see that? And I was like, no,
[2:33] Speaker 1: I love you. And I had the best experience ever.
[2:38] Speaker 1: And we put together that it was like someone had
[2:41] Speaker 1: sent her the information that they got from Facebook.
[2:43] Speaker 3: My mom has called me and said, did you get
[2:45] Speaker 3: out of jail?
[2:46] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[2:46] Speaker 3: And I'm like, mom, I'm not. And she goes, I
[2:48] Speaker 3: read it on Facebook.
[2:48] Speaker 2: Long story short, I can't believe AI.
[2:51] Speaker 1: And that's why sometimes I'll hear stuff about myself and
[2:54] Speaker 1: I'm like, that's a filmed event. If that happened, we
[2:57] Speaker 1: would all see it.
[2:58] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[3:00] Speaker 3: Let's talk about your book.
[3:01] Speaker 1: Sure.
[3:01] Speaker 4: And you have it here with you. Is it available
[3:05] Speaker 4: for pre-orders yet? Because I think it comes out, what,
[3:08] Speaker 4: in October, right?
[3:08] Speaker 1: October 13th, yes. All the pre-ordered copies come signed, which
[3:13] Speaker 1: was a big push with my... publisher, they're like, you can't,
[3:18] Speaker 1: you're telling us you're gonna sign every, and I was like, yeah,
[3:21] Speaker 1: I'm gonna sign every single one. It's fun.
[3:22] Speaker 2: So how many did you have to sign?
[3:23] Speaker 1: 10,000. Did you get a stamp? 10,000? No, but I
[3:26] Speaker 1: should have. But I have all this footage of me
[3:28] Speaker 1: in my backyard. I have different stations in my house,
[3:31] Speaker 1: or I'll have Jack send them up to my parents' house.
[3:34] Speaker 4: Who Jack is with you right next to you, and
[3:36] Speaker 4: it's his birthday, so happy.
[3:37] Speaker 3: Birthday, Jack. So will we see this on the show
[3:43] Speaker 3: this season?
[3:43] Speaker 1: Yeah, actually, this season of Southern Charm is a little
[3:47] Speaker 1: more evolved. We're taking some chances and breaking out of
[3:50] Speaker 1: the typical formula.
[3:51] Speaker 2: What does that mean?
[3:52] Speaker 1: Just showing a little more of our life outside.
[3:54] Speaker 2: Of the bubble.
[3:56] Speaker 3: But I think everybody wants that.
[3:57] Speaker 1: They do. It's just scary for big... like networks that
[4:02] Speaker 1: have done something one way to do that.
[4:03] Speaker 4: Well, it's the same with a summer house. We wanted
[4:06] Speaker 4: to see more of their everyday lifestyle.
[4:08] Speaker 3: Now they have this.
[4:09] Speaker 1: And they just did a cash trip too. Like, and
[4:11] Speaker 1: they've never done a cash trip before, you know, like
[4:13] Speaker 1: we're taking baby steps, but it means a lot.
[4:15] Speaker 3: So how long have you been on the show?
[4:17] Speaker 1: Uh, we've been filming for 14 years, but we just
[4:20] Speaker 1: wrapped my 12th season.
[4:21] Speaker 2: It's a long time season.
[4:22] Speaker 1: Yeah. So I was 24 and I started, I'm 38 now.
[4:24] Speaker 1: And I'm like, guys, I don't fit. necessarily the exact
[4:27] Speaker 1: same box that I used to so and I think
[4:30] Speaker 1: a viewer likes to see the growth a little bit they.
[4:32] Speaker 2: Like to see the growth and then they like to
[4:34] Speaker 2: see the mistakes.
[4:34] Speaker 1: Right and I was like we're always taking like two
[4:37] Speaker 1: or three steps back but there are some steps forward
[4:40] Speaker 1: you know so you just have to balance it so
[4:42] Speaker 1: this year we have the book and me and Madison
[4:45] Speaker 1: have an incredible relationship I love her even off camera
[4:48] Speaker 1: and so it's a lot of me with her family
[4:50] Speaker 1: like Cause I know her baby really well. So I'm
[4:52] Speaker 1: always with like Teddy. And then when we read the
[4:54] Speaker 1: book to like Hudson has his input and Madison helps
[4:57] Speaker 1: me like write the ending and it's.
[4:58] Speaker 3: Oh, so she helped you with that?
[5:00] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[5:00] Speaker 1: Like, well, you know, a lot of like focus group stuff.
[5:02] Speaker 1: Like what do you think should happen? Cause I didn't
[5:04] Speaker 1: want to write a book where they became friends because
[5:07] Speaker 1: you don't in real life, the bullies mean, and you
[5:09] Speaker 1: never become friends with them.
[5:10] Speaker 4: So tell us about your book and what made you
[5:12] Speaker 4: want to write a book, a children's book.
[5:14] Speaker 1: Yeah. I remember signing my contract for Southern charm and
[5:18] Speaker 1: it being like, took me like six months to sign.
[5:20] Speaker 1: Cause it was back when Jersey shore was like the
[5:22] Speaker 1: only thing, I mean, the housewives were around, but we
[5:24] Speaker 1: didn't know about that world yet. Yeah. And Vanderpump had filmed,
[5:28] Speaker 1: but it wasn't out yet. And when I signed my contract,
[5:31] Speaker 1: I was like, I hope they have like TVs in
[5:33] Speaker 1: the jails in Delaware, you know, that, so the bullies
[5:37] Speaker 1: see that it like, like screw you. And I'm like,
[5:39] Speaker 1: how are you still thinking about the bullies? And they
[5:41] Speaker 1: really have an impact on your life. And they say,
[5:44] Speaker 1: fortunately for me, Once I got to reality TV, I
[5:47] Speaker 1: was like, okay, well you guys can't do anything that
[5:50] Speaker 1: is new. Yeah. Like I'm good here. Um, because I
[5:54] Speaker 1: had to sell validated a young age, but I wanted
[5:56] Speaker 1: to get the message across to kids that it's not a,
[5:59] Speaker 1: you problem. Like if you're getting bullied, it has nothing
[6:01] Speaker 1: to do with you. And what's funny is it goes
[6:04] Speaker 1: into adulthood now with technology. Um, but the goal with this,
[6:08] Speaker 1: instead of treating the scars of bullying is to almost
[6:11] Speaker 1: be proactive. And so when your child is at school
[6:14] Speaker 1: and someone's mean to them, they think it's weird that
[6:16] Speaker 1: that person's mean to them. Where it's like, okay, well,
[6:18] Speaker 1: whatever you're going through, when you're finished with that, come
[6:22] Speaker 1: play with us.
[6:23] Speaker 3: Were you bullied as a kid? What inspired you?
[6:25] Speaker 1: Yeah, I was bullied really bad as a kid. And
[6:29] Speaker 1: for no, well, I was going to say for no
[6:32] Speaker 1: apparent reason.
[6:33] Speaker 2: I was going to say, was that like a particular?
[6:35] Speaker 1: I was bullied by kids with bad home lives. So, like,
[6:41] Speaker 1: they were basically just doing to me what their parents
[6:43] Speaker 1: were doing to them at their house. So it's like,
[6:45] Speaker 1: you know, you get on the school bus and, like,
[6:48] Speaker 1: it was a weird place to be as a kid
[6:49] Speaker 1: to be empathetic to the bully. But I knew that
[6:51] Speaker 1: kid's dad was just beating him when he got home.
[6:53] Speaker 2: And where did you grow up?
[6:55] Speaker 1: In Delaware. In Delaware. And there was just a mean–
[6:59] Speaker 1: the bullying that I went through was mean. It wasn't–
[7:03] Speaker 1: there was no real reason. It was inner unhappiness, which–
[7:06] Speaker 1: you learn is most bullying, right? People just don't like
[7:10] Speaker 1: themselves or they're upset at themselves and they're deflecting. And
[7:13] Speaker 1: so I was very fortunate that I had a safe
[7:16] Speaker 1: place at home. And I feel really sad for kids
[7:20] Speaker 1: that like school's supposed to be your safe place and home.
[7:23] Speaker 1: But I knew if I could just get home at
[7:25] Speaker 1: the end of the day, I was good. But I
[7:26] Speaker 1: never told my parents.
[7:27] Speaker 2: That's what I was going to say. Did you tell
[7:29] Speaker 2: your parents?
[7:29] Speaker 1: No.
[7:29] Speaker 2: Because my kids are that age where they're starting to
[7:31] Speaker 2: share stuff with me. Some stuff I don't want to know. Like, honestly,
[7:35] Speaker 2: ask a friend, buddy.
[7:35] Speaker 3: But some things they don't want to share with you
[7:37] Speaker 3: as well.
[7:38] Speaker 1: No. Not mine.
[7:39] Speaker 4: Really?
[7:40] Speaker 1: Well, you're like, I mean, I just.
[7:41] Speaker 2: I've got all of your shares in my house.
[7:42] Speaker 1: That's good. I just didn't want to be a burden.
[7:44] Speaker 3: That's a good environment.
[7:45] Speaker 1: I couldn't process it. I didn't understand it. And I
[7:47] Speaker 1: didn't want to be a burden. And why I have
[7:50] Speaker 1: it in the book is because I, my parents did
[7:52] Speaker 1: everything right. And I still didn't tell them. And then
[7:53] Speaker 1: it manifested into. you know, tics and routines. And I
[7:57] Speaker 1: was like, so OCD, it was like so stressful. And
[8:01] Speaker 1: so that's covered in the book in a really lightweight,
[8:03] Speaker 1: basically how we did this book is there are things
[8:05] Speaker 1: in it that the child's not going to pick up
[8:07] Speaker 1: on unless the parent wants to use it as a tool.
[8:09] Speaker 1: So like there's a talent show and everyone has to
[8:12] Speaker 1: write out their hobbies. The bully doesn't have anything on
[8:15] Speaker 1: his paper. He's being mean at everyone else for writing
[8:17] Speaker 1: out their hobbies. He doesn't have any hobbies. So if
[8:19] Speaker 1: you want to point that out, you know, you can
[8:22] Speaker 1: and use.
[8:22] Speaker 2: It, you know, What are your ticks and numbers of?
[8:25] Speaker 2: Mine's three.
[8:26] Speaker 1: Oh, I mean, well, yeah, three is a good one.
[8:29] Speaker 1: I mean, the doors and the light switches and everything.
[8:33] Speaker 3: I have a daughter with OCD.
[8:34] Speaker 1: Yeah. My routines were, I mean, at one point it
[8:37] Speaker 1: took like an hour to go to bed and it sucked.
[8:40] Speaker 1: And then I developed one where I had to brush
[8:42] Speaker 1: my teeth a certain way and I would like throw
[8:44] Speaker 1: up in the morning or whatever. And then my blood
[8:46] Speaker 1: sugar would be off for that. And you were just
[8:48] Speaker 1: back then. It wasn't until I saw an MTV true
[8:51] Speaker 1: life episode on it where I was like, Oh my God.
[8:54] Speaker 1: They're doing it too. They're doing it too. Cause who
[8:56] Speaker 1: the heck are you going to ask back then? There
[8:58] Speaker 1: wasn't good. Like I thought I was just, you know,
[9:01] Speaker 1: well as a.
[9:01] Speaker 4: Mother and having a child going through this, the, she
[9:05] Speaker 4: had to tap and count and lock doors and lock
[9:07] Speaker 4: doors and unlock doors.
[9:09] Speaker 3: I'm like, what is going on?
[9:10] Speaker 1: No. And having, I've dated someone that wasn't, that didn't
[9:16] Speaker 1: understand it. And then my last relationship, thank God to
[9:19] Speaker 1: her credit, she, it didn't bother her. And that's when
[9:22] Speaker 1: the ticks really, Like if you are stressed that you
[9:25] Speaker 1: can't do it is when they are bad.
[9:27] Speaker 2: Like mine are going to come right now because we're
[9:29] Speaker 2: talking about it.
[9:30] Speaker 1: If you're comfortable where you're like, I have the freedom
[9:32] Speaker 1: to do it if I want, and it's not going
[9:34] Speaker 1: to bother anyone that it actually isn't that strong for me.
[9:37] Speaker 1: So making like.
[9:38] Speaker 4: A, is it true that OCD is stem from extreme anxiety?
[9:43] Speaker 1: I have no idea.
[9:44] Speaker 4: That's what I was told as a mom. Like, When
[9:46] Speaker 4: your child has OCD, basically what it is, is extreme anxiety.
[9:51] Speaker 1: I think it's probably heightened during stress, but like, I'm
[9:53] Speaker 1: not an anxious person now. And I, I mean, I
[9:56] Speaker 1: still have, I have light.
[9:57] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[9:58] Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't have ones that affect my day today.
[10:09] Speaker 1: I remember showing up to a cast photo shoot with
[10:11] Speaker 1: a case of beer and they're like, no, put it
[10:13] Speaker 1: back in her car. And I was like, well, because
[10:15] Speaker 1: I guess a housewives franchise had just gotten so drunk
[10:19] Speaker 1: at their cast photo shoot. They banned alcohol. Um, and no,
[10:24] Speaker 1: there are reunion. You can drink. Well, our whole cast, see,
[10:29] Speaker 1: I've done a number on us because I tend to
[10:33] Speaker 1: be rebellious with stuff. And so when I was still
[10:37] Speaker 1: drinking a lot, they could limit us a little bit,
[10:41] Speaker 1: but I was like, if you want us to do
[10:42] Speaker 1: our jobs, like, For the.
[10:43] Speaker 3: Record, we offered you alcohol and you said no. You declined.
[10:47] Speaker 1: I use it as a... It's a special thing in
[10:49] Speaker 1: my life now, which is.
[10:50] Speaker 2: So we're not special?
[10:51] Speaker 3: I was just going to say we're not very special.
[10:53] Speaker 1: You are, but this might.
[10:54] Speaker 4: We showed up early just to drink because you made
[10:57] Speaker 4: us nervous.
[10:57] Speaker 1: I usually show up with champagne. I have to do a...
[11:00] Speaker 1: wood chopping scene with my shirt off in like six days.
[11:03] Speaker 1: And I've just been so clean.
[11:05] Speaker 3: You're being very strict with your diet.
[11:06] Speaker 2: Cause I got paid.
[11:07] Speaker 1: For this scripted project and I was like, if they're
[11:09] Speaker 1: going to pay me, I might as well do it.
[11:10] Speaker 2: So tell us about some of the scripted stuff and
[11:12] Speaker 2: then we'll start drilling you on.
[11:14] Speaker 1: Sure. Um, I got to film, um, a movie recently, uh,
[11:20] Speaker 1: a feature and it was the coolest experience ever. It
[11:23] Speaker 1: reminded me of when our shows all first started and
[11:27] Speaker 1: it was really collaborative and creative. And, it was such
[11:32] Speaker 1: a special experience with the other cast members, like the
[11:34] Speaker 1: actresses and actors. And I was getting to fly back
[11:37] Speaker 1: and forth from Charleston cause we were wrapping Southern charm
[11:40] Speaker 1: at the time. And it was just, it was such
[11:42] Speaker 1: great balance. Um, so we're not sure when, where that'll
[11:46] Speaker 1: premiere yet, but we've got our fingers crossed for some
[11:49] Speaker 1: really cool places. And I just loved it for that was,
[11:52] Speaker 1: I was on set for three weeks there.
[11:54] Speaker 3: And, um, are we going to lose you to scripted?
[11:57] Speaker 1: No, I am not going anywhere from Southern charm. I
[12:01] Speaker 1: like filming, especially now that we're evolving to show more
[12:04] Speaker 1: of our lives. And so for 12 weeks a year,
[12:07] Speaker 1: I'm filming Southern Charm. And the other months, it seems
[12:10] Speaker 1: like there's really awesome support to do scripted stuff.
[12:13] Speaker 2: Are you still sewing?
[12:14] Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
[12:15] Speaker 3: I feel like.
[12:17] Speaker 2: I can't even sew on a button.
[12:18] Speaker 3: I know. I wish I try.
[12:20] Speaker 1: I like it. It's a good thing to know.
[12:21] Speaker 4: But I feel like in the last year or so,
[12:25] Speaker 4: you've really had like a glow up.
[12:28] Speaker 3: Big time. You look amazing.
[12:31] Speaker 2: Come get a bedroom, Tamara.
[12:34] Speaker 3: I'm just saying, you look amazing. You look happy. You
[12:37] Speaker 3: look healthy. You don't look stressed. Your career is going
[12:42] Speaker 3: in different directions.
[12:43] Speaker 2: Do you feel that?
[12:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm at a level of peace that I've never... Okay, look,
[12:48] Speaker 1: this is what's funny. And it's just the truth. I
[12:52] Speaker 1: had started my health journey about a year before the breakup.
[12:58] Speaker 1: And then what breakups do is they just, you don't
[13:01] Speaker 1: have a lot of places to turn. And fortunately I
[13:05] Speaker 1: threw myself into the gym, which is probably the healthy,
[13:09] Speaker 1: one of the healthier.
[13:10] Speaker 3: I see you running on Instagram.
[13:11] Speaker 1: Yeah. And, but that's because you find this, this place
[13:17] Speaker 1: and this inner peace that you want to share with
[13:20] Speaker 1: other people. And then you start to get jobs. And
[13:22] Speaker 1: then all of a sudden I was, ready for opportunities.
[13:26] Speaker 1: And so when the phone would like call, it wasn't, Oh,
[13:29] Speaker 1: I have to get ready for that. It's like, actually
[13:31] Speaker 1: I'm good to go. And that kind of started to
[13:36] Speaker 1: snowball and people, I showed up prepared for projects and
[13:40] Speaker 1: not hung over and just clear headed. And we know
[13:44] Speaker 1: how to be on set so well from all of
[13:47] Speaker 1: our years that like, as long as you're nice to
[13:49] Speaker 1: the crew and you're a joy to be around, then, Treat.
[13:52] Speaker 2: The crew well.
[13:54] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[13:54] Speaker 2: There's some people that just have a reputation for treating
[13:56] Speaker 2: the crew poorly, and you can see it in editing.
[13:59] Speaker 2: And I don't understand it.
[14:00] Speaker 1: No, and you're like, it's just like training like Fit
[14:01] Speaker 1: and Bev.
[14:02] Speaker 2: Yeah, like when you go to dinner with somebody and
[14:04] Speaker 2: they're a dick to their waiter, I'm like, I don't
[14:06] Speaker 2: want to have dinner with you.
[14:08] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[14:08] Speaker 4: You are not that person at all. We are not
[14:10] Speaker 4: those people that do that.
[14:11] Speaker 2: No.
[14:11] Speaker 3: We've seen it. It's been in the house my whole life.
[14:13] Speaker 2: We're not nice anywhere else, but we're nice for a meal.
[14:17] Speaker 2: We're not nice on this podcast.
[14:19] Speaker 1: No, you guys are so nice. I was a little nervous, too,
[14:21] Speaker 1: because I was like, what are they going to ask?
[14:22] Speaker 2: They're like, what do they ask on the twat seat?
[14:23] Speaker 1: No, because, I mean, we all know. That's what's fun
[14:26] Speaker 1: about the Bravo world and really all getting to know
[14:29] Speaker 1: each other more and more. I think every year that
[14:31] Speaker 1: goes by, they're starting to do more crossover projects and
[14:35] Speaker 1: BravoCon and FanFest.
[14:36] Speaker 3: Wait, you had a podcast with?
[14:38] Speaker 1: Austin. Austin.
[14:39] Speaker 3: Austin.
[14:40] Speaker 2: They had to falling out.
[14:41] Speaker 3: So no more, right?
[14:42] Speaker 1: No, it was really fun during COVID. And it was
[14:45] Speaker 1: a party podcast. I mean, shit. It was so fun.
[14:48] Speaker 3: So you had fun with it.
[14:48] Speaker 1: Yeah. And then, you know, life kind of cleaned. Like
[14:51] Speaker 1: the fog parted after COVID and things. And then it
[14:55] Speaker 1: becomes a job. And then different elements become involved. But no.
[14:58] Speaker 3: Would you want to get back into the podcasting world?
[15:00] Speaker 1: Yeah, I think. The reason I like podcasting is because
[15:06] Speaker 1: some people... on Bravo have a lot more life to share.
[15:10] Speaker 1: Some people don't. Some people get met in person and
[15:13] Speaker 1: the fans are like, damn, I liked you way better
[15:15] Speaker 1: on TV.
[15:15] Speaker 3: And also there's a lot of things that are edited out.
[15:17] Speaker 1: Well, that's what I mean. All of that context. And
[15:20] Speaker 1: I think we have this foundation to spread positivity and
[15:25] Speaker 1: make the world, you know, a better place and help you.
[15:26] Speaker 1: So many people have these parasocial relationships with us where
[15:29] Speaker 1: it's crazy. Yeah. And like, I like to, the more
[15:35] Speaker 1: we get to share of our lives with people, I
[15:36] Speaker 1: think the better. And you can only share so much
[15:38] Speaker 1: in a 40-minute episode.
[15:39] Speaker 3: Yeah, but also I think that you see a different
[15:41] Speaker 3: side to you.
[15:42] Speaker 2: Right.
[15:42] Speaker 3: That, you know, you're on a show.
[15:44] Speaker 2: You have a cast.
[15:45] Speaker 3: It's all about drama.
[15:46] Speaker 1: Yes.
[15:46] Speaker 3: That's not really how your life.
[15:48] Speaker 1: Is every single day. Hopefully not, you know.
[15:49] Speaker 3: Right, hopefully not.
[15:51] Speaker 4: And then you get on a podcast and they see, like,
[15:52] Speaker 4: your real true heart and who you are. And they're like,
[15:55] Speaker 4: so many people have said, like, oh, my God, I
[15:57] Speaker 4: love you on the podcast.
[15:58] Speaker 1: Right.
[15:59] Speaker 3: I mean, on Housewives, you're a little bit of a shitster,
[16:02] Speaker 3: but even with you as well.
[16:03] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[16:04] Speaker 2: Well, speaking of, this was our number one question. I
[16:07] Speaker 2: put it on Instagram. Okay.
[16:08] Speaker 1: Yes. I laughed when I saw that. I was like,
[16:10] Speaker 1: I can't imagine that they said people.
[16:12] Speaker 2: It's all about dating. It's all about dating.
[16:14] Speaker 1: Everybody wants to know who you're dating.
[16:15] Speaker 2: The first one was, and I think I already know
[16:17] Speaker 2: the answer to this. You can't answer us, even though
[16:20] Speaker 2: I know you're dying to. Who is your housewife crush?
[16:25] Speaker 1: Oh, that's a good question. I will say it's not
[16:30] Speaker 1: a crush, but me and Dorinda have been spending a
[16:31] Speaker 1: lot of time together recently. Not a crush. I mean,
[16:33] Speaker 1: I love Dorinda.
[16:34] Speaker 2: You didn't say the person I thought you were going
[16:35] Speaker 2: to say.
[16:36] Speaker 1: I don't know. Wait, who do you think I was
[16:38] Speaker 1: going to say?
[16:39] Speaker 2: I'm not going to say.
[16:40] Speaker 1: Well, you have to.
[16:40] Speaker 2: Well, you have to. I gave you like an underhand there.
[16:43] Speaker 2: But you can't do that.
[16:44] Speaker 1: Because I don't, I have such a good friendship.
[16:46] Speaker 3: Are you saying like Sally?
[16:47] Speaker 2: No, I said a housewife.
[16:48] Speaker 1: A housewife. Oh, a housewife. No, the reason is because
[16:51] Speaker 1: where I was filming in Massachusetts was right by Dorinda's.
[16:54] Speaker 1: And she was just in Australia with us. So that's
[16:55] Speaker 1: who I've been spending most time with.
[16:56] Speaker 4: Well, we actually have a new cast member on Orange County,
[16:58] Speaker 4: and her name is Carmela. She used to be married
[17:01] Speaker 4: to a professional football player, Jeff Garcia. I was thinking
[17:04] Speaker 4: you guys would be a really cute couple.
[17:06] Speaker 1: You guys set us up.
[17:06] Speaker 3: Okay, I'll set you up.
[17:07] Speaker 1: Since she's already open to having... To the Bravo universe.
[17:12] Speaker 3: Yeah, she's already in the, this is her first year though,
[17:14] Speaker 3: her first year.
[17:15] Speaker 1: Moms are like, oh, we want to set you up
[17:17] Speaker 1: with your daughter. I'm like, do you? Do you really want?
[17:19] Speaker 3: She was a playmate centerfold.
[17:22] Speaker 4: Okay.
[17:22] Speaker 3: And a WWE wrestler.
[17:24] Speaker 4: Nice.
[17:25] Speaker 3: I have to say, that's not the best resume, I think.
[17:28] Speaker 2: I think it's great.
[17:28] Speaker 3: I think for most guys, they're like, yeah.
[17:31] Speaker 1: She's like, this is what Craig wants to hear. Hey,
[17:33] Speaker 1: I did go to WrestleMania this year. That was on
[17:35] Speaker 1: my bucket list.
[17:36] Speaker 2: I mean, it is fun to do. I've gone with
[17:38] Speaker 2: my son.
[17:38] Speaker 1: Really? Yeah. I've got like a 12-month bucket list, and
[17:42] Speaker 1: that was April. Well, you'll have to tell me the
[17:44] Speaker 1: housewife later that you're thinking of. I know.
[17:47] Speaker 2: What franchise? I'm not going to say. Are you going
[17:50] Speaker 2: to say Doreen?
[17:50] Speaker 1: No.
[17:52] Speaker 3: I'm trying to think of single ones.
[17:55] Speaker 2: Did I say a single housewife? Wait, you're going to
[17:57] Speaker 2: hook them up.
[17:58] Speaker 3: With a married one? What kind of asshole are you?
[18:00] Speaker 2: I didn't say hook them up.
[18:01] Speaker 1: Yeah, which show should I cross over onto next?
[18:03] Speaker 2: No, I didn't. We'll fight occasionally. No, all I said
[18:07] Speaker 2: was who is your most, like who would you have
[18:10] Speaker 2: the biggest crush on that's a housewife? I didn't say
[18:12] Speaker 2: married or not married. It could be anyone. He could say,
[18:14] Speaker 2: is it Giselle?
[18:15] Speaker 3: Just tell us what franchise.
[18:16] Speaker 2: I'm not.
[18:17] Speaker 1: Oh, I got close. Oh, you know who is awesome
[18:19] Speaker 1: in Australia too? I don't know if you know her,
[18:21] Speaker 1: but Cynthia Bailey was awesome.
[18:23] Speaker 2: Love her.
[18:23] Speaker 1: Oh, we love her. She's fantastic. We are obsessed with her.
[18:25] Speaker 1: She was on Girls Trip, wasn't she?
[18:26] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
[18:28] Speaker 3: We know her very well.
[18:29] Speaker 1: We just had a great time.
[18:31] Speaker 3: She's a lot of fun.
[18:32] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[18:32] Speaker 2: Can you tell us a little inside scoop because I
[18:34] Speaker 2: haven't asked him yet?
[18:35] Speaker 1: Sure.
[18:36] Speaker 2: Is Shut Back with Taylor?
[18:38] Speaker 1: You got to watch this season.
[18:40] Speaker 3: So I was with Sally in Napa.
[18:42] Speaker 1: Sally's a trip.
[18:43] Speaker 2: Oh, she's fun.
[18:44] Speaker 1: In February.
[18:45] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[18:46] Speaker 3: And I think it was February.
[18:48] Speaker 4: And she told me that we were actually doing an interview.
[18:53] Speaker 4: And the news broke that Gaston and Taylor had broken up.
[18:58] Speaker 4: She had some choice words to say at that point.
[19:00] Speaker 3: I mean, like, it was crazy. And also she told
[19:02] Speaker 3: us about her time with Kyle Cook.
[19:05] Speaker 2: Well, I was going to say, how does it feel
[19:06] Speaker 2: knowing that she has publicly shamed you?
[19:08] Speaker 1: Who? Who?
[19:09] Speaker 2: Sally, she publicly said that Kyle Cook is the best
[19:13] Speaker 2: sex she's ever had in her life.
[19:14] Speaker 1: Sally and I have never even kissed. What? Yeah, where
[19:18] Speaker 1: do you guys get your info? This is what's so funny.
[19:21] Speaker 2: Well, we're just watching the show. You're just hot tubbing
[19:23] Speaker 2: around all the time.
[19:25] Speaker 1: Yeah, but it was with Charlie and Corey. That's what
[19:27] Speaker 1: they cut out of the show. So we and Sally
[19:29] Speaker 1: have never been in a hot tub by ourselves together, ever.
[19:31] Speaker 3: Oh, so you were more into Charlie then.
[19:33] Speaker 1: But I won't say that Sally probably our connection... It was,
[19:40] Speaker 1: it was more, I didn't see, I thought we were
[19:43] Speaker 1: like best friends because I was with Charlie and Sally,
[19:48] Speaker 1: like it was her friend. and I think we got
[19:51] Speaker 1: close and she was like maybe we should try this
[19:54] Speaker 1: but I was like we're no I was but.
[19:56] Speaker 2: It's before after Austin in real life.
[20:00] Speaker 1: Before way before yeah way before okay um But Sally
[20:06] Speaker 1: and I are so close now, and it's exactly how
[20:09] Speaker 1: it should be. I love her. We have the funniest friends.
[20:11] Speaker 1: Because I get to come in and out a lot
[20:13] Speaker 1: this year because, again, it's a little more of me
[20:16] Speaker 1: staying as busy as I usually am. And she is
[20:20] Speaker 1: a trip because I– have such a soft spot for her.
[20:23] Speaker 1: So I defend her a lot. And sometimes people are like, Craig,
[20:28] Speaker 1: you need to go talk to everyone else. You need
[20:30] Speaker 1: to go find out, like you only ever have her
[20:32] Speaker 1: side of the story.
[20:33] Speaker 2: Well, I got really sad last year. I think it
[20:35] Speaker 2: was at the finale of Southern Charm when Sally's like
[20:38] Speaker 2: sitting there begging Austin to come back in and party
[20:42] Speaker 2: with her. And he's like, no, I'm going to go.
[20:45] Speaker 1: I'm out.
[20:45] Speaker 2: And she's like, well, can I come with you?
[20:47] Speaker 3: I just want to see why Sally's not taken. She's
[20:51] Speaker 3: got an amazing job.
[20:52] Speaker 1: Sally's a catch. She's a catch.
[20:55] Speaker 3: Andy said it at the reunion.
[20:56] Speaker 1: She is a catch. I mean, what's neat about our
[21:01] Speaker 1: shows is she really, to her credit, opens up so
[21:05] Speaker 1: much this year. Because I can read people well, and
[21:08] Speaker 1: I kind of knew some of the stuff that she
[21:10] Speaker 1: tells me this year, but she really tells me, and
[21:12] Speaker 1: I'm like, if you're willing to talk about that stuff
[21:14] Speaker 1: on television, you might really help some people, just stuff
[21:17] Speaker 1: that she went through in her past. But then I
[21:20] Speaker 1: get to be like, do you think that has anything
[21:22] Speaker 1: to do with why you do this now? And she's
[21:26] Speaker 1: like a hundred percent. And I'm like, so you get
[21:28] Speaker 1: to have, you get to have these fun, you know, combos,
[21:30] Speaker 1: like hopefully people, you know, hopefully we see it. But, um, she,
[21:36] Speaker 1: I sometimes I have to check her though. Cause I'm
[21:38] Speaker 1: kind of the fixer for our, like, If a cast
[21:40] Speaker 1: member needs something done, call me or problem solve. But
[21:43] Speaker 1: I'm not the one to call and just gossip for
[21:45] Speaker 1: a half hour.
[21:46] Speaker 2: Okay, so give me a problem-solving scenario.
[21:49] Speaker 1: There are usually stuff that they're not talked about. Stuff
[21:53] Speaker 1: that's happening on the show? No, just in life or whatever.
[21:56] Speaker 3: Behind-the-scenes conversations?
[21:58] Speaker 1: But she'll call me sometimes and I'm like, all right,
[22:00] Speaker 1: call Austin for that. I'll be like, Sally, what's up?
[22:03] Speaker 1: I'm about to go on stage somewhere. And she's like,
[22:04] Speaker 1: I'm in Canada dealing with this or the Hamptons.
[22:08] Speaker 2: And.
[22:09] Speaker 1: But the gossip stuff, they call Austin. But I'm like
[22:12] Speaker 1: a short phone call.
[22:12] Speaker 3: Are you and Austin good right now?
[22:13] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. Oh, good.
[22:14] Speaker 2: So you're good with everybody this season?
[22:16] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[22:17] Speaker 2: He's a therapist this season.
[22:18] Speaker 1: No, well, look, usually in Charleston, like, I am friends
[22:23] Speaker 1: with everyone. I think filming causes some stuff sometimes, you know,
[22:28] Speaker 1: which we don't always understand. But this season is really
[22:31] Speaker 1: fun again, and it's fun to film, and it was
[22:34] Speaker 1: fun to be around everyone. Oh, I can't wait. I'm
[22:36] Speaker 1: taking the cast to dinner. We've never done that before
[22:39] Speaker 1: outside of filming. We have an active group chat. Oh, wow.
[22:43] Speaker 1: Our cast is in a really good spot right now.
[22:45] Speaker 3: What changed, do you think?
[22:46] Speaker 1: I think people realized that there was another way, a
[22:51] Speaker 1: better way to film. You know, that the tearing... If
[22:55] Speaker 1: something's not real, don't do it. You know, just be yourself.
[22:57] Speaker 1: We're getting back to that.
[22:59] Speaker 4: But don't you feel like they're getting back to that
[23:01] Speaker 4: and Bravo across all?
[23:02] Speaker 1: People don't want to see the other thing anymore. Some
[23:05] Speaker 1: instigators got casted across the shows. Some snuck on, as
[23:09] Speaker 1: we saw on other shows. And then it caused such
[23:12] Speaker 1: high ratings when like an instigator that didn't have good
[23:15] Speaker 1: intentions got on a show. I think producers in other
[23:19] Speaker 1: shows were like, hey, that kind of worked. And then
[23:21] Speaker 1: there was instigators casted on other shows. And it's like,
[23:23] Speaker 1: we don't, with this person like never would we be
[23:26] Speaker 1: at dinner with this human being at least for southern
[23:29] Speaker 1: charm now it's back to this is what's going on
[23:31] Speaker 1: in charleston.
[23:32] Speaker 2: And is molly still on because she's my favorite molly's
[23:36] Speaker 2: there she's your favorite i love molly she's just so
[23:39] Speaker 2: nice she is nice i'm like my aspire to be
[23:42] Speaker 2: as nice as molly like she can.
[23:44] Speaker 4: Play an instrument that i don't even know what it's
[23:46] Speaker 4: never gonna happen.
[23:47] Speaker 1: She's not in your dna she's great we have a
[23:50] Speaker 1: I just wrote down the list. Our cast is insanely
[23:53] Speaker 1: big right now. It's like 13 or 14 people.
[23:55] Speaker 2: Did you get new.
[23:55] Speaker 3: People this year?
[23:56] Speaker 1: One.
[23:57] Speaker 2: One. If you could bring somebody back, would you get Catherine, Cameron,
[24:00] Speaker 2: or Naomi?
[24:02] Speaker 1: Catherine. Because we don't have a show without her.
[24:05] Speaker 2: Yeah, you miss her.
[24:06] Speaker 3: Where is she nowadays?
[24:07] Speaker 2: Not jail.
[24:08] Speaker 1: She's not in jail. Hopefully she's doing well. Hopefully she'll
[24:11] Speaker 1: come back to the show one day. Cam, I mean,
[24:13] Speaker 1: we love Cam. Cam was great. But I think, you know...
[24:18] Speaker 1: To have Catherine come back years later would be such
[24:22] Speaker 1: a breath of fresh air.
[24:23] Speaker 3: I feel like that would be a big moment.
[24:25] Speaker 1: It really would.
[24:26] Speaker 3: It would.
[24:26] Speaker 1: And I think.
[24:28] Speaker 3: It'd be like NeNe coming back to Housewives.
[24:30] Speaker 2: But Catherine has always been. By the way, I just
[24:32] Speaker 2: made that dig at her. But she's every time I've
[24:35] Speaker 2: seen her, she's been incredibly nice to me and like
[24:37] Speaker 2: kind and like.
[24:39] Speaker 1: She is.
[24:39] Speaker 3: She's a nice person.
[24:40] Speaker 2: And I can't say that about everybody.
[24:41] Speaker 1: She just has. I mean, look, we all have, you know,
[24:44] Speaker 1: our demons and stuff. And it's just whether you can get.
[24:47] Speaker 1: ahead of them or not.
[24:48] Speaker 3: Get through it. Yeah.
[24:49] Speaker 1: Yeah. But yeah, that would be, I think it would
[24:53] Speaker 1: be really great. And it's, it would be that fresh
[24:56] Speaker 1: air of just honesty. You know, people can be a
[25:00] Speaker 1: little more careful on the shows these days back. Like,
[25:04] Speaker 1: I think there's a big difference about a young show where,
[25:07] Speaker 1: and we all know the next season is not guaranteed,
[25:10] Speaker 1: but the new people don't know that old people remember
[25:13] Speaker 1: where we didn't know if we were going to get
[25:14] Speaker 1: a second, third, fourth season. And you had to like,
[25:17] Speaker 1: Give it your all.
[25:18] Speaker 4: I filmed 16 seasons thinking this was going to be
[25:20] Speaker 4: the last season.
[25:21] Speaker 1: That's how we think. But I think like that's.
[25:23] Speaker 4: How you should do it because then you have other
[25:24] Speaker 4: people on the show that think like this is going
[25:26] Speaker 4: to go on forever and they're spending their money like crazy.
[25:29] Speaker 4: I'm over there hoarding it, investing it, doing this, doing
[25:32] Speaker 4: that because I'm always worried every year I'm getting fired.
[25:34] Speaker 1: And that's what Andy was always good to me. He
[25:36] Speaker 1: was like, tell me you're saving your money. Tell me
[25:38] Speaker 1: you're saving your money. And then you're like, do you
[25:39] Speaker 1: know something that I don't know? And he's like, no,
[25:41] Speaker 1: save your money.
[25:42] Speaker 4: So when I got let go, he called me and
[25:45] Speaker 4: he goes, listen, hang tight, you're probably going to be back.
[25:48] Speaker 4: He goes, did you save your money? And I said, yeah,
[25:51] Speaker 4: I have.
[25:51] Speaker 1: That's good.
[25:52] Speaker 2: Okay, good.
[25:53] Speaker 1: But the people that join franchise shows or whatever it's
[25:57] Speaker 1: called is like, that's not the word, but they could
[26:00] Speaker 1: join in like seventh season to them. They can be
[26:03] Speaker 1: a little more individualistic and stuff because they think the
[26:06] Speaker 1: show is just going to continue.
[26:07] Speaker 2: Do you think it makes it for a worse cast
[26:09] Speaker 2: member or a better cast member when they have seen
[26:11] Speaker 2: the show versus not seeing the show? Worse.
[26:14] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[26:14] Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree.
[26:15] Speaker 1: Yeah, you got to be raw. But you can't find
[26:17] Speaker 1: them anywhere.
[26:18] Speaker 2: It's hard.
[26:19] Speaker 1: And here's the problem. When you do, they don't fit
[26:23] Speaker 1: what necessarily everyone's looking for at that time. Yeah. And
[26:29] Speaker 1: as a cast member, you're going to see it differently
[26:30] Speaker 1: where you're like, I'm telling you this person's going to
[26:32] Speaker 1: be great because they don't know what's going on.
[26:34] Speaker 3: Do you like the new cast member?
[26:36] Speaker 1: She's a sweetheart. Yeah.
[26:37] Speaker 3: It's a she.
[26:38] Speaker 1: We have that.
[26:39] Speaker 2: Who's she closest with? That's all we need to know.
[26:42] Speaker 3: And are you dating her?
[26:45] Speaker 1: No, I'm not dating her. I mean.
[26:47] Speaker 3: Kiss, touched.
[26:51] Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, her and I had a
[26:52] Speaker 1: good friendship.
[26:53] Speaker 3: Was there an intimacy expert in there?
[26:56] Speaker 2: For the record, guys, Craig has a rep in here
[26:59] Speaker 2: with him that does a head shake, yes or no,
[27:03] Speaker 2: when he's allowed to answer questions.
[27:04] Speaker 1: Well, because I get in trouble with it. Because our
[27:08] Speaker 1: relationship with Bravo is so good and I mean well,
[27:10] Speaker 1: but I get very talkative sometimes. But no, the new
[27:13] Speaker 1: season is going to be, it'll be fun and great.
[27:15] Speaker 1: Like there's, it's a refreshing, like our viewer, as long
[27:20] Speaker 1: as it looks like what we filmed will be happy
[27:24] Speaker 1: and refreshed. And that's all I care about.
[27:26] Speaker 3: Do we see you dating this season?
[27:28] Speaker 1: Um, you.
[27:30] Speaker 3: And not your cast members.
[27:32] Speaker 1: I think you just have to wait and see.
[27:34] Speaker 2: Oh, so we don't see Charlie this season.
[27:37] Speaker 1: Charlie's around. But she's dating someone on Southern Hospital.
[27:40] Speaker 3: Yeah, we heard that.
[27:41] Speaker 1: Southern Hospital. Southern Hospitality.
[27:43] Speaker 3: Somebody on General Hospital.
[27:46] Speaker 1: No, she.
[27:47] Speaker 2: These are the days of our lives.
[27:49] Speaker 1: I think you'll pick up more that like so many
[27:52] Speaker 1: people are at our events from the town because you'll
[27:55] Speaker 1: recognize her and be like, oh, there's Charlie.
[27:57] Speaker 3: She's beautiful.
[27:58] Speaker 1: Yeah, she's a very pretty girl.
[27:59] Speaker 3: She's a very pretty girl.
[27:59] Speaker 1: She just ran into Stassi in Austria. And so I
[28:03] Speaker 1: invited her to the guest dinner. And she's like, oh,
[28:06] Speaker 1: I'm so bummed. I'm in. Out of the country. But
[28:09] Speaker 1: guess what? I just ran into Stassi in Austria. And
[28:11] Speaker 1: I was like, what are the chances?
[28:12] Speaker 3: Like just vacationing?
[28:14] Speaker 1: Or was it a... I didn't really follow up because...
[28:15] Speaker 1: Stassi's on Hulu now. Yes, she is.
[28:17] Speaker 2: She's number one.
[28:18] Speaker 3: I know. She's doing an amazing job. She's a great
[28:20] Speaker 3: reality star.
[28:21] Speaker 2: We love Stassi.
[28:23] Speaker 1: Yeah. I love her. She's born for it.
[28:24] Speaker 2: Have you ever thought about doing any other one of
[28:27] Speaker 2: the franchises on Bravo?
[28:31] Speaker 1: I mean... No. No? I mean, I was friends with
[28:36] Speaker 1: the original Vanderpump cast. It was fun to visit.
[28:40] Speaker 2: So you like Jax?
[28:42] Speaker 1: I don't know him that well.
[28:46] Speaker 3: She loves us, just in case you were wondering.
[28:49] Speaker 1: She loves. I used to be there when they were filming,
[28:51] Speaker 1: but they wouldn't show it because back then they were like,
[28:52] Speaker 1: it doesn't make sense. Stassi was at me and Naomi's breakup,
[28:55] Speaker 1: sitting at the bar watching. And I was like, why
[28:58] Speaker 1: would you not just pan the camera and show that
[29:00] Speaker 1: Stassi's there? But they're like, it doesn't make sense that
[29:02] Speaker 1: you guys are friends. But it does. People want to
[29:05] Speaker 1: see that. But we are friends.
[29:07] Speaker 2: Does Naomi is married with a baby now?
[29:10] Speaker 1: No, no, no. She's married. She just got married a
[29:12] Speaker 1: couple weeks ago.
[29:13] Speaker 2: Okay.
[29:14] Speaker 1: He's a super nice guy. It's Brooks Nader's ex-husband. That's
[29:19] Speaker 1: the dancing guy?
[29:21] Speaker 2: No, it's not. Brooks Nader is a female.
[29:23] Speaker 3: Yeah. So who's her first husband?
[29:26] Speaker 2: I don't know.
[29:26] Speaker 1: That's Naomi's current husband. Yeah, I know.
[29:28] Speaker 2: Who is he? Is he like in the business or not?
[29:30] Speaker 1: Is he hot? He's got to be. Jack says yes.
[29:33] Speaker 3: He's got two hot girls.
[29:34] Speaker 1: He's got to be. It was super nice to me.
[29:37] Speaker 1: Andy asked me about him on Watch What Happens One Time,
[29:39] Speaker 1: and I know they're mutual friends out in like Venice Beach.
[29:43] Speaker 1: And I was like, all I've ever heard is nice
[29:46] Speaker 1: things about him. And so apparently he spends half the
[29:49] Speaker 1: week in New York, and I spend basically every other
[29:51] Speaker 1: week in New York. And so he's on my flight
[29:53] Speaker 1: a lot.
[29:54] Speaker 2: So you still do that?
[29:55] Speaker 1: Yeah, I never stop. Like Jen. Yeah. That's what people
[29:58] Speaker 1: get confused. Like, oh, now you're like, I was like,
[30:00] Speaker 1: I've never not spent half my time in New York.
[30:02] Speaker 1: So he came up to me.
[30:04] Speaker 2: Do you have an apartment in New York?
[30:05] Speaker 1: About to in January. Okay.
[30:07] Speaker 3: Would you ever move to LA?
[30:09] Speaker 1: For a project. Charleston will always be home. Like Charleston
[30:12] Speaker 1: is my home base.
[30:13] Speaker 3: But that's not where you're from.
[30:13] Speaker 1: But I don't like sitting still too often. No, I'm
[30:17] Speaker 1: from Delaware. So I promised my parents I'd go home
[30:19] Speaker 1: once a month and I do. So even for just
[30:20] Speaker 1: a day, I'll drive down from New York and see them. But, yeah,
[30:25] Speaker 1: so anyway, she just got married. And he's nice. He
[30:27] Speaker 1: came up to me and introduced himself one day after
[30:30] Speaker 1: our flight. And I think he's a finance guy. Oh,
[30:34] Speaker 1: that's always good. She's doing well. She's doing fine, yeah.
[30:36] Speaker 2: Who do you think is the biggest character in Southern Charm? Like,
[30:40] Speaker 2: if you had to pick, you can't pick yourself.
[30:42] Speaker 1: I mean, look, Thomas and Catherine were– we didn't have
[30:45] Speaker 1: to do anything. We would just show up and be like–
[30:48] Speaker 1: and see what was going on that day. I mean,
[30:51] Speaker 1: Ashley was– I don't think there will ever be someone
[30:54] Speaker 1: like Ashley again, even though I don't even think she
[30:56] Speaker 1: was a cast member.
[30:58] Speaker 3: What about Thomas, though? Is he still around?
[31:00] Speaker 1: He lives two hours away in horse country, Aiken. I
[31:04] Speaker 1: think he has a horse farm. He showed up one night,
[31:08] Speaker 1: and they didn't let him in, and I was so pissed. No!
[31:12] Speaker 1: It wasn't in the plan, you know? I know.
[31:14] Speaker 2: It wasn't in the plan. It's not going to work
[31:15] Speaker 2: with storyline, but it works for us. Like, I would
[31:17] Speaker 2: have loved to see Thomas Ravenel.
[31:18] Speaker 1: I would love for there to be a docu-follow of
[31:21] Speaker 1: us making... the show, you know? Yeah.
[31:24] Speaker 2: That would be awesome. That would be amazing.
[31:25] Speaker 1: Because think about, like, the fights that happen when the
[31:29] Speaker 1: cameras are down, too, you know, or anything. Like, yeah.
[31:35] Speaker 3: So this season, you just wrapped this season?
[31:37] Speaker 1: Yes.
[31:38] Speaker 3: And you don't know when it's going to air yet?
[31:40] Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know if the public does. Oh.
[31:43] Speaker 3: Is it this year or next year?
[31:44] Speaker 1: It's this year.
[31:45] Speaker 2: Oh, good.
[31:46] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[31:46] Speaker 2: Amazing.
[31:47] Speaker 3: We're so excited.
[31:48] Speaker 2: Yeah, we're so excited.
[31:48] Speaker 3: Because we cover your show.
[31:49] Speaker 1: So we're super excited about that. Yeah, it'll be fun. Like, I, again, well,
[31:54] Speaker 1: you're always excited before, you know, I think, um, but
[31:57] Speaker 1: I'm really excited about this one. We have a good
[32:00] Speaker 1: crew and we go on my favorite cast trip we've
[32:02] Speaker 1: ever been on.
[32:02] Speaker 2: Do you get mad at all?
[32:04] Speaker 1: No.
[32:05] Speaker 3: Do you think you have a good season?
[32:07] Speaker 1: I mean, I was just myself, you know, like you
[32:09] Speaker 1: never know what is going to happen, but I don't
[32:11] Speaker 1: get mad last year. You know, it was unfortunate because,
[32:15] Speaker 1: and this is what a lot of the all season
[32:17] Speaker 1: meetings were on was, um, you know, had a terrible
[32:21] Speaker 1: night in Mexico, but for a year, prior to that.
[32:25] Speaker 1: I didn't. And a year after I didn't. And I
[32:28] Speaker 1: was like, I wish I could show people that like,
[32:30] Speaker 1: you're gonna have mishaps, but that doesn't mean now I
[32:35] Speaker 1: had one bad night in two years instead of a
[32:38] Speaker 1: couple of bad nights a month, you know, like there
[32:41] Speaker 1: is progress there and that you don't have to fix everything.
[32:45] Speaker 1: And so I was a little bummed because I You know,
[32:49] Speaker 1: that's just, you know, so you never know. But no,
[32:52] Speaker 1: there's no, I don't drink an entire bottle of tequila
[32:54] Speaker 1: in like three hours this year.
[32:56] Speaker 3: Oh God, I love when you do that.
[32:57] Speaker 1: No, I have a lot of fun. I have a
[32:59] Speaker 1: lot of fun this year. But again, I'm friends with
[33:02] Speaker 1: everyone and I'm not in like, it just last year
[33:05] Speaker 1: was intense. Also, I never realized that I was only,
[33:07] Speaker 1: I didn't give myself, not myself credit, but I was
[33:11] Speaker 1: three months out of a breakup. I didn't know that.
[33:12] Speaker 2: But where's Vanita now? Is she in this season?
[33:15] Speaker 1: Yeah, we're good friends.
[33:16] Speaker 3: You are?
[33:17] Speaker 1: Yeah. That's why. And it's fun because when I was
[33:20] Speaker 1: in Australia, she was in Paris with her mom and
[33:22] Speaker 1: we were the only ones like awake. And so she'll
[33:24] Speaker 1: be at the cast dinner Friday.
[33:26] Speaker 2: Yeah. I love her.
[33:27] Speaker 4: Now that you're on the other side of your breakup,
[33:30] Speaker 4: are you just like thinking Jesus? Like, cause it feels
[33:34] Speaker 4: like you're doing so many amazing things.
[33:36] Speaker 3: You look so good.
[33:37] Speaker 2: You're happy.
[33:39] Speaker 1: Well, no, because it would have like those there. I've
[33:42] Speaker 1: now believe that like there's people for you in different
[33:45] Speaker 1: chapters and Because for three years, like we just leveled
[33:49] Speaker 1: each other up. Like it was awesome.
[33:57] Speaker 2: Do you plan on settling down or playing the field
[34:00] Speaker 2: for a while?
[34:00] Speaker 1: Oh, I'm not. I mean, if someone, I just date
[34:03] Speaker 1: with intent. Like if I meet someone that I have
[34:05] Speaker 1: chemistry with, I will explore it. But I mean, I
[34:08] Speaker 1: haven't messaged, I haven't had someone to message or text
[34:11] Speaker 1: in a long time.
[34:12] Speaker 2: I heard that you were on Raya.
[34:14] Speaker 1: Yeah, well, everyone's on Raya, but you don't... No, I'm not.
[34:16] Speaker 2: I couldn't get in.
[34:16] Speaker 1: Really?
[34:17] Speaker 2: No, they wouldn't let me into Raya. No, they don't
[34:21] Speaker 2: let any half-sides on Raya.
[34:22] Speaker 1: Raya's good for the early times where you need some validation, because,
[34:27] Speaker 1: you know, it means someone else thinks you're attractive or cool,
[34:30] Speaker 1: but I've never... I do know some people that meet up,
[34:33] Speaker 1: but I've never, like, messaged or met up with anyone.
[34:36] Speaker 1: I should... I'm working on not being as shy these days, but...
[34:40] Speaker 1: But no, I wouldn't say that I'm happy. Like it
[34:43] Speaker 1: wasn't that I was happy to be out. Like I
[34:44] Speaker 1: just have such good memories of like, I'm such a
[34:47] Speaker 1: positive person that it was like fun while it lasted.
[34:51] Speaker 1: And then I was thinking the other day, I was like,
[34:53] Speaker 1: here's the neat, interesting part who I've become today. I
[34:59] Speaker 1: wonder if I met, you know, so we've got two
[35:02] Speaker 1: years of growing in our own directions. I wonder if
[35:06] Speaker 1: this version of me and that version or this version
[35:08] Speaker 1: of her met like if we would even consider going out.
[35:12] Speaker 1: And that's not because we dated or broke up. That's
[35:14] Speaker 1: just because every year of your life, you're evolving into
[35:17] Speaker 1: this more and more of a person. So it's kind
[35:19] Speaker 1: of a blessing to think, I mean, I don't want
[35:22] Speaker 1: to be single anymore, but the more I am.
[35:24] Speaker 2: Like, but did you sell the diamond? That's what I
[35:27] Speaker 2: need to know. Cause diamonds are worth nothing. Cause I
[35:29] Speaker 2: just tried to sell mine.
[35:30] Speaker 1: He, my jeweler, I might just, so I gave it back.
[35:33] Speaker 1: So the way that I, a lot of people don't
[35:35] Speaker 1: understand the ring process. They thought you just go into
[35:37] Speaker 1: a store and buy, ring, but no, I bought a
[35:40] Speaker 1: stone and then had it made, um, in New York.
[35:43] Speaker 1: And so I gave it back to him whenever. And
[35:48] Speaker 1: I did get a surprise text. I told Madison like
[35:50] Speaker 1: a month ago, he's like, I have a buyer for
[35:52] Speaker 1: the stone. You're going to eat some, but, and is
[35:56] Speaker 1: this number okay? And I was like, yeah, that's great.
[35:59] Speaker 1: And for me, it was kind of a bonus because
[36:00] Speaker 1: I had forgotten about it. But of course I bought
[36:03] Speaker 1: like a very popular cut at the time. And now, like,
[36:07] Speaker 1: demand for that cut is down. So maybe I need
[36:09] Speaker 1: to sell mine. I was going to buy a rental
[36:10] Speaker 1: property with it.
[36:11] Speaker 2: Holy shit.
[36:13] Speaker 3: That was a good-sized ring.
[36:14] Speaker 1: I mean, yeah. It was, yeah. It was enough for
[36:17] Speaker 1: a rental property. Yeah, the family crap.
[36:19] Speaker 2: Do you guys talk at all?
[36:21] Speaker 1: No. No.
[36:22] Speaker 2: Can we do Mary F. Kill really quick? And she's
[36:24] Speaker 2: not a part of that.
[36:24] Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Well, yeah, I would assume so.
[36:26] Speaker 2: I hope not. Mary F. We don't like to say kill,
[36:29] Speaker 2: but this is a fair question.
[36:30] Speaker 1: I like banish. Me and Austin say banish. I like that.
[36:33] Speaker 2: Mary F.
[36:34] Speaker 1: Banish.
[36:35] Speaker 2: Vanita, Sally, and Amanda from Summer House.
[36:38] Speaker 1: I'm not going to do that.
[36:40] Speaker 2: Why?
[36:40] Speaker 1: Because I get along with everyone. Everyone's sensitive right now.
[36:45] Speaker 1: I can't. Sensitive? Yeah. I mean, I haven't talked to
[36:50] Speaker 1: Amanda in a long time, but Vanita and Sally and
[36:53] Speaker 1: I are so close right now.
[36:55] Speaker 2: You'd have sex with both of them?
[36:56] Speaker 1: Have sex with them? Sure.
[36:59] Speaker 3: Vanita, Sally, and who would you want to remove from that?
[37:02] Speaker 1: I can't do, I'm not going to do my cat.
[37:04] Speaker 1: Like I, the Bravo's, this is why I was scared
[37:06] Speaker 1: of y'all. Cause it's so Bravo. Like, okay.
[37:09] Speaker 3: Durenda, Sally and Cynthia.
[37:15] Speaker 1: The guys, these games, I, and I'm such a participator,
[37:19] Speaker 1: but I just can't.
[37:20] Speaker 2: He's not going to do it. Okay. Fine. One word
[37:22] Speaker 2: to describe the following people. Yes. Shep.
[37:28] Speaker 1: Oh, God, that should be an adjective. Like Shep. I
[37:32] Speaker 1: feel like you could say. Bring it. So we, on
[37:34] Speaker 1: our group of friends, if I say he's like Shep,
[37:37] Speaker 1: that means something to someone.
[37:38] Speaker 2: I mean, I know what that means.
[37:39] Speaker 1: Yeah, you grew up with him.
[37:40] Speaker 3: Austin.
[37:42] Speaker 1: Getting better. Oh, good. That's good to hear. Growing up
[37:46] Speaker 1: a little bit. Oh, finally. And he's filling his cup. Oh.
[37:49] Speaker 1: And it's been fun for everyone.
[37:51] Speaker 2: Filling his cup. I wonder with what. Rodrigo.
[37:54] Speaker 1: I love him. He's my workout partner.
[37:57] Speaker 3: We DM all the time. We DM like funny.
[37:59] Speaker 1: Shit to each other. His DM level and memes is high.
[38:04] Speaker 4: Well, at first he started sending me all these like
[38:05] Speaker 4: funny memes and I'm like, I told my sister, I go, did.
[38:08] Speaker 1: He get hacked?
[38:09] Speaker 3: And she's like, no, I just think that's his personality.
[38:11] Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, I just want to respond.
[38:12] Speaker 2: He thinks that we all like, We all like every
[38:16] Speaker 2: time he sends me a meme, I'm like, and I
[38:18] Speaker 2: do laugh.
[38:19] Speaker 3: So I appreciate it.
[38:20] Speaker 2: No, I love it.
[38:21] Speaker 1: I open like half, you know, but I always respond.
[38:25] Speaker 2: You only open half of Rodrigo's.
[38:28] Speaker 1: I mean, I get a lot a day. Oh, my God.
[38:30] Speaker 2: Can we talk about Whitney for one second?
[38:32] Speaker 1: Sure.
[38:33] Speaker 2: I know he's a producer on the show. But why
[38:36] Speaker 2: does he always seem like he is? Oh, he's not.
[38:38] Speaker 1: Well, he gets an EP credit, so he gets paid.
[38:40] Speaker 1: But when you sell a show, you lose all editorial control.
[38:44] Speaker 1: So like he that's why you.
[38:47] Speaker 2: Like stick in the mud.
[38:48] Speaker 1: Like, yeah, because it's not the show that he created
[38:51] Speaker 1: in his mind. And so when he gets grumpy, when
[38:56] Speaker 1: we're hanging out, I'm like, we're only here because of you.
[38:59] Speaker 3: Does he want to be on the show?
[39:01] Speaker 1: I mean, he seems like he enjoys it.
[39:03] Speaker 2: I think his mom enjoys it.
[39:04] Speaker 1: His mom, it keeps her alive. It's great. She called
[39:07] Speaker 1: me on the way here, actually. She has so much
[39:10] Speaker 1: fun with it. No, I love Whitney to death, but
[39:14] Speaker 1: we butt heads a lot because it's just Whitney.
[39:19] Speaker 2: He just seems pissed all the time. Even when y'all
[39:21] Speaker 2: were in Mexico the whole time, he's wearing a black t-shirt.
[39:24] Speaker 2: He's annoyed. He's like, it's hot. I'm sticky.
[39:26] Speaker 1: Why am I here? I'm like, get in the pool.
[39:28] Speaker 2: But he comes everywhere.
[39:30] Speaker 1: Well, he can't get wet. Why? I think it's like
[39:33] Speaker 1: a vampire, you know?
[39:35] Speaker 3: Well, like he, oh, he could be a vampire.
[39:36] Speaker 2: Oh, I forgot that you're also a conspiracy theorist.
[39:40] Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, I guess. No, I'm just kidding.
[39:42] Speaker 2: So like what's your biggest conspiracy right now?
[39:45] Speaker 1: No, my fun, the one I really believe is that
[39:48] Speaker 1: we didn't build the pyramids. We found them. I think
[39:51] Speaker 1: they're a lot older than we think. And I think
[39:53] Speaker 1: the engineering required was tough. No, I'm not a conspiracy theorist.
[39:57] Speaker 1: I find it very entertaining. And I ask questions like
[40:00] Speaker 1: the history of pandas doesn't exist. So you can't find
[40:04] Speaker 1: history of them 300 years past. They're not found anywhere.
[40:08] Speaker 1: So I just say to people, where did they come from?
[40:11] Speaker 1: Why do they have a carnivorous stomach and they only
[40:14] Speaker 1: eat bamboo? Why does it require human intervention for them
[40:17] Speaker 1: to get pregnant? I don't know. I'm just asking the questions.
[40:20] Speaker 2: I get that. That's fine. We have to wrap. Is
[40:23] Speaker 2: there anything you can tease for us for next season
[40:26] Speaker 2: or about yourself?
[40:27] Speaker 1: Or about your dating life? Thanks for having me. I'm excited. No,
[40:32] Speaker 1: it would be fun if I come back during the
[40:34] Speaker 1: season and we can really talk. But this season is
[40:37] Speaker 1: new and not repetitive and it's fun. And it's really
[40:41] Speaker 1: like there's some serious drama with people that you've named
[40:44] Speaker 1: today and I couldn't give it away. And, you know,
[40:48] Speaker 1: Madison's back. With a vengeance because she's not pregnant and
[40:52] Speaker 1: she gets to have like.
[40:53] Speaker 2: Love her not pregnant.
[40:54] Speaker 3: We get to see old school Madison.
[40:55] Speaker 1: She loves filming when she's not pregnant. So I think
[41:00] Speaker 1: viewers will be very, they should be excited for season
[41:03] Speaker 1: 12 of Southern Charm. And no, we've just got, I've
[41:06] Speaker 1: got a bunch of projects coming out. The book should
[41:09] Speaker 1: be fun.
[41:10] Speaker 2: Make sure you guys buy Patchwork. You can get it.
[41:12] Speaker 1: Anywhere, right? Yeah, anywhere that sells books.
[41:14] Speaker 2: And it's going to be personally signed for you.
[41:16] Speaker 1: Yeah, the pre-sale ones. Oh, wow.
[41:18] Speaker 2: The pre-sale ones are signed. Also, you can find Craig at?
[41:23] Speaker 1: On Instagram at CAA Conover. TikTok, I've been venturing around with.
[41:27] Speaker 2: He'll be running.
[41:28] Speaker 3: Just in case you want to know, he'll be running.
[41:30] Speaker 1: Yeah, Strava, you can follow me, but apparently then you
[41:31] Speaker 1: can see where I.
[41:32] Speaker 2: Am all the time.
[41:33] Speaker 1: Or you can go on Hinge.
[41:34] Speaker 3: Or you can go on Raya and Hinge.
[41:35] Speaker 2: Hold on, I'm like, Matt, download Strava for me.
[41:38] Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, and then go find my profile on Raya,
[41:42] Speaker 1: I guess.
[41:42] Speaker 3: Yes, there you go.
[41:43] Speaker 1: Be the first person that I talked to.
[41:45] Speaker 2: If you can get on Raya, good luck to you.
[41:48] Speaker 1: Hard.
[41:48] Speaker 2: It's hard out there.
[41:49] Speaker 3: He got on.
[41:50] Speaker 2: Well, I know, I don't understand.
[41:52] Speaker 1: I've downloaded an Though, unfortunately, every time you delete Raya,
[41:58] Speaker 1: you hope it's for the last time, and it hasn't
[42:01] Speaker 1: been so far.
[42:03] Speaker 2: The problem is they put it all over. There's no
[42:05] Speaker 2: point for Raya because you could put it in, and
[42:07] Speaker 2: then they're going to be like, This is who you
[42:08] Speaker 2: could date right now in Saudi Arabia.
[42:10] Speaker 1: Yes.
[42:10] Speaker 2: And you're like, I don't care. I want to know
[42:13] Speaker 2: right now within.
[42:14] Speaker 1: 5 miles. I did glance at it in Australia because
[42:16] Speaker 1: I was like, I feel like that would be. And
[42:17] Speaker 1: then I was like, Craig.
[42:18] Speaker 3: Oh, because the girls are hot there.
[42:19] Speaker 1: Why are you getting into a 16-hour long-distance relationship?
[42:22] Speaker 3: You're like, no, I have a feeling that's not what
[42:24] Speaker 3: it was about.
[42:25] Speaker 1: No.
[42:26] Speaker 2: But thank you guys for tuning in for another episode
[42:28] Speaker 2: of The Twotsy. Make sure that you watch Southern Charm
[42:31] Speaker 2: this season and you get patchwork. And we appreciate you
[42:34] Speaker 2: coming on, Craig.
[42:35] Speaker 1: Thanks, ladies.
