[0:01] Speaker 1: Welcome to all you faithfuls and traders. Another episode of
[0:03] Speaker 1: By Order of the Faithful swells here alongside the lovely
[0:07] Speaker 1: Dolores Catana.
[0:08] Speaker 2: Hi, wells, how are you?
[0:10] Speaker 1: I'm doing great. I actually my bank accounts a little lighter.
[0:15] Speaker 2: Why would you do? What did you purchase?
[0:17] Speaker 1: Oh? What I did? It's what my dog did yesterday?
[0:21] Speaker 1: What she owes me four thousand dollars? She ate an
[0:26] Speaker 1: entire can of baking cocoa powder. Oh, yeah, which you
[0:33] Speaker 1: know it's chocolate?
[0:36] Speaker 2: Is so you had to induce vomiting? Oh, in the hospital.
[0:41] Speaker 1: He's at the emergency room right now, right now. Don't worry.
[0:45] Speaker 1: She's okay. But she owes me a lot of money
[0:48] Speaker 1: because it was a lot. First of all, the carpet
[0:52] Speaker 1: is destroyed.
[0:53] Speaker 2: You know how you induce vomiting, Make them drink peroxide.
[0:57] Speaker 1: I did that. I I dipped some bread in some
[1:00] Speaker 1: peroxide and I made her eat it. And on the
[1:04] Speaker 1: way to the emergency room, she threw up so much chocolate.
[1:12] Speaker 1: She ate a hole?
[1:15] Speaker 2: What jar? What is it?
[1:17] Speaker 1: Yeah, it was like eight ounces of powdered chocolate that
[1:20] Speaker 1: she ate.
[1:20] Speaker 2: So bell could going down though, Yeah.
[1:24] Speaker 1: You know, I hope it was worth it. It was
[1:26] Speaker 1: the most expensive jar of chocolate in the entire world.
[1:29] Speaker 2: That's like gold leaf diva.
[1:33] Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, you look all you look all dulled up?
[1:39] Speaker 1: Were you were you filming today?
[1:40] Speaker 3: No, I'm doing some content, is what I was doing,
[1:43] Speaker 3: catching up on some things.
[1:46] Speaker 2: And uh yeah, so so that's that.
[1:49] Speaker 3: I'm actually doing some content for a pet food as
[1:53] Speaker 3: soon as I get done with you.
[1:55] Speaker 1: So chocolate flavored.
[1:56] Speaker 3: It is not chocolate flavored, but but it's Gabrielle Catana,
[2:00] Speaker 3: doctor Gabby approved.
[2:02] Speaker 2: Oh but it's very good. And I'll let you know
[2:05] Speaker 2: about it. I'll let you know how it is.
[2:07] Speaker 1: Yeah, tell me the brand. I love dog food.
[2:11] Speaker 3: Pets table, the pets table. Okay, yeah, so so she
[2:17] Speaker 3: loved it. She's actually keeping it for her dogs and
[2:19] Speaker 3: she'll be feeding her dogs with it.
[2:21] Speaker 2: For now on I do.
[2:22] Speaker 1: I do Farmer's Dog But if this is good, let
[2:24] Speaker 1: me know and I'll switch.
[2:25] Speaker 2: To the table. Is good, she said, the ingredients are amazing.
[2:29] Speaker 1: All right, I'm sure that all the listeners out there
[2:31] Speaker 1: don't give a crap about our dogs, but they do
[2:33] Speaker 1: give a crap about Dancing with the Stars. The next
[2:37] Speaker 1: pro we are in episode six and I feel like
[2:40] Speaker 1: this is kind of where the rubber meets the road. Dolores,
[2:43] Speaker 1: It's like.
[2:43] Speaker 2: Well, I never heard that saying before, but I'll be
[2:46] Speaker 2: using it now.
[2:48] Speaker 3: So explain the Robbert meets the road. What does that mean? Like,
[2:53] Speaker 3: I know what it means, but I explain it to me.
[2:56] Speaker 1: What like for this episode, right, it's the episode where
[2:59] Speaker 1: they bring in quote unquote what the celebrities would be, right,
[3:03] Speaker 1: which are novice dancers, and they have to teach them,
[3:07] Speaker 1: you know, how to dance, teach them the number, get
[3:10] Speaker 1: them ready, do all the.
[3:12] Speaker 2: Corey corey Yeah.
[3:14] Speaker 1: And so for me, like rubber meets the road, Like
[3:16] Speaker 1: this is where it gets like really serious, because if
[3:18] Speaker 1: you're trying, if the whole thing is you're trying to
[3:20] Speaker 1: find someone to become a pro on Dancing with the Stars,
[3:24] Speaker 1: you need to know that they're good at this thing,
[3:27] Speaker 1: which is teaching people who can't dance how to dance.
[3:30] Speaker 2: So they save this for last.
[3:32] Speaker 3: They save this where you are so mentally yeah and
[3:36] Speaker 3: physically drained, and now you're down to the wire and
[3:41] Speaker 3: you're kind of scared, like who's going home next? And
[3:45] Speaker 3: they did they this is where the rubber meets the road.
[3:49] Speaker 3: For sure, and it did.
[3:52] Speaker 1: It did for someone, It absolutely did. So the show
[3:55] Speaker 1: starts with Robert welcoming Shirley and Mark out. Bob reminds
[4:01] Speaker 1: the five contestants that the finale just right around the corner.
[4:05] Speaker 1: And this week's judge is one of my favorite of
[4:08] Speaker 1: the pros, Whitney Carson. She's a lovely person. I've gotten
[4:10] Speaker 1: to meet her before, and she's very pretty.
[4:12] Speaker 2: She looks like Madison Lacroix a little bit.
[4:15] Speaker 1: She doesn't look real. She's like, you know, she looks
[4:18] Speaker 1: like a supermodel.
[4:20] Speaker 2: Do any of the pro dancers look real to you? There?
[4:23] Speaker 2: The beauty.
[4:24] Speaker 1: What's crazy is she had a kid not too long
[4:26] Speaker 1: ago and she looks.
[4:27] Speaker 2: Out, So did you have to really ruin it for me?
[4:30] Speaker 1: I'm just like, I don't even know how, Like physically,
[4:33] Speaker 1: I guess if you're dancing every single day and doing
[4:35] Speaker 1: that much cardio, that's why you have like zero body fat.
[4:38] Speaker 1: But anyways, Whitney's awesome. She's obviously like one of the best,
[4:41] Speaker 1: and obviously very near and dear to Robert's heart. Because
[4:45] Speaker 1: did they.
[4:45] Speaker 3: Say they will they danced together? And did she win twice?
[4:48] Speaker 3: Did I hear them say that?
[4:50] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[4:50] Speaker 1: She's won twice, I believe. Yeah, and she won with Robert.
[4:53] Speaker 3: Yes, and uh, he gets so excited about everything like
[4:59] Speaker 3: his father.
[5:01] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[5:01] Speaker 3: And you know, sadly his father left him us all
[5:04] Speaker 3: too soon, but he was such a baby. It's amazing
[5:09] Speaker 3: to me that he is so much like him in
[5:13] Speaker 3: every way. And the enthusiasm is right there.
[5:18] Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean you can see so much of Steve
[5:21] Speaker 1: shining through in Robert, which is which is really nice.
[5:24] Speaker 1: And yeah he is he's like, I got a zest
[5:26] Speaker 1: for everything. And this hosting thing is is very very good.
[5:30] Speaker 1: So this this theme this week is teaching an amateur.
[5:35] Speaker 1: They will be dancing a ballroom routine with social media
[5:39] Speaker 1: influencers that are fans of the show. This is I
[5:42] Speaker 1: think a little bit of like boxing with kit gloves, right,
[5:47] Speaker 1: Like these guys are all one very very familiar with
[5:51] Speaker 1: the show and to their kind of like all TikTok dancers,
[5:54] Speaker 1: So they're kind of good at dancing, not.
[5:57] Speaker 3: Real they're not formally really formally trained in any way. Yeah,
[6:01] Speaker 3: and you can tell, like sometimes people lie about it.
[6:05] Speaker 2: Sometimes people have.
[6:08] Speaker 3: Some type of you know, dance training or something in
[6:12] Speaker 3: their backgrounds. You can tell that there was not that
[6:16] Speaker 3: wasn't the case here, so it was really hard for them.
[6:20] Speaker 3: I think when they chose who was going to be
[6:24] Speaker 3: their partners for their hardest challenge, I believe they chose
[6:29] Speaker 3: well because they really gave it to them.
[6:32] Speaker 1: Yeah, but like, think about it, when you become a pro,
[6:35] Speaker 1: you're going to be paired with people who have absolutelyslutely
[6:39] Speaker 1: no dance acumen or background, like you'll have like a
[6:42] Speaker 1: basketball player who like has never danced other than.
[6:45] Speaker 3: Always though wells And I've said it before, just one
[6:49] Speaker 3: per Charlie d'milio.
[6:51] Speaker 2: Yeah, even our Gabby Wendy.
[6:53] Speaker 3: She was a cheerleader for you know, many years, and
[6:58] Speaker 3: she was able to remember steps and keep her movements
[7:02] Speaker 3: tight and do that.
[7:03] Speaker 2: That's more than me.
[7:05] Speaker 3: As you'll see. Stay tuned for next season. I hope
[7:09] Speaker 3: you watch the show.
[7:11] Speaker 1: What Housewives Are Dancing with the Stars.
[7:13] Speaker 3: Housewives like you did do something this season that will
[7:18] Speaker 3: show you how I absolutely never had any training and
[7:23] Speaker 3: there were girls in the group that did.
[7:26] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[7:27] Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's very hard starting from scratch.
[7:30] Speaker 1: They're cheaters. So Robert reminds the dancers that they've already
[7:35] Speaker 1: made a random draw for their partners and announces each
[7:38] Speaker 1: of the partnerships. So you have aj and Bailey they're
[7:41] Speaker 1: doing the Waltz, Selena and Jeremy doing the quick step,
[7:44] Speaker 1: Alan and Zara doing the Waltz, Adele and Anthony doing
[7:48] Speaker 1: the tango, and Nina and Ja doing the fox trot
[7:51] Speaker 1: right off the bat, just from like looking at these
[7:56] Speaker 1: social media influencers, what team do you think is the strongest?
[8:01] Speaker 2: So I thought more.
[8:05] Speaker 3: Of Nina because she's talks about how she teaches, right,
[8:12] Speaker 3: So I said, oh, well, you know, I think that she's.
[8:17] Speaker 2: Going to do good. Yeah, but that wasn't the case here.
[8:22] Speaker 1: That was a big swing and a miss. I'll tell
[8:24] Speaker 1: you who I really liked.
[8:26] Speaker 2: Are you going to say a Dell again because you
[8:28] Speaker 2: say a Dell every week?
[8:29] Speaker 1: Well? No, she Well she's going to win this thing.
[8:33] Speaker 1: Let's stop pretending that she's not going to win this thing.
[8:35] Speaker 1: She is the best every single week. But I tell
[8:38] Speaker 1: you I did like. I really liked Jeremy. He was
[8:43] Speaker 1: Selena's partner on the quick Step. He's a bigger guy
[8:46] Speaker 1: with like a lot of flair and a lot of
[8:48] Speaker 1: exciting close calls.
[8:49] Speaker 3: She almost went home with him, but he was so
[8:52] Speaker 3: cute and I think his personality made up for.
[8:57] Speaker 2: The you know, lack of step that they had.
[9:01] Speaker 3: Yeah, the judges do not like when you do not follow,
[9:06] Speaker 3: it could go wrong.
[9:06] Speaker 2: Here's the thing what I've learned. The judges like.
[9:09] Speaker 3: If it goes good, the judges love it that you
[9:11] Speaker 3: took on your own. If it goes bad, the judges
[9:14] Speaker 3: are hammering you. And that is the excuse to get
[9:17] Speaker 3: rid of you. You did not follow directions.
[9:19] Speaker 1: Yeah, don't you think you know? This was a funny
[9:22] Speaker 1: episode watching all these guys dance because this was a
[9:27] Speaker 1: good example of me not really knowing what's good and
[9:30] Speaker 1: what's not good. Because I thought every one and I
[9:32] Speaker 1: was like, that was good, that was great, and then
[9:35] Speaker 1: surely would come in and be like you didn't do this,
[9:37] Speaker 1: or you missed the brief, or like you were slow
[9:39] Speaker 1: here or fast here. Where. I'm like, I'm really impressed
[9:43] Speaker 1: with everyone. They learned this in two days.
[9:45] Speaker 3: It's safe to say I don't think you and I
[9:47] Speaker 3: Wells will be getting called for this gig anytime soon.
[9:52] Speaker 3: I realized the other day I was giving myself a
[9:54] Speaker 3: vitamin shot in my butt.
[9:56] Speaker 2: Yeah, and I could turn all the way.
[9:58] Speaker 3: This way to do it, but I can it left, Like,
[10:03] Speaker 3: I'm not flexible enough to give it to me in
[10:06] Speaker 3: my left side, So every time I give myself a shot,
[10:09] Speaker 3: it's in the same spot. But I just thought you
[10:12] Speaker 3: wanted to know that in case I ever had to
[10:14] Speaker 3: be flexible.
[10:15] Speaker 1: All right, no shots in your left side.
[10:21] Speaker 2: I'd like, I can only go this far up. Yeah
[10:24] Speaker 2: it stops, but look at this, yoh yeah, like an.
[10:27] Speaker 1: Athlete, great motion going right.
[10:30] Speaker 2: I could be a golfer, Like, as long as I'm
[10:32] Speaker 2: only swinging like this.
[10:34] Speaker 1: Yeah, you're like a NASCAR driver. You can only go
[10:37] Speaker 1: one way.
[10:39] Speaker 3: I'd be driving in circles all day.
[10:49] Speaker 2: Rehearsal day one.
[10:50] Speaker 1: Yeah, rehearsal day one. This is interesting to see, like
[10:53] Speaker 1: everyone's different teaching style. Adele and Anthony get to work.
[10:58] Speaker 1: Adele hope and that he'd be her partner because he
[11:03] Speaker 1: looks like he can dance. Do you think he looks
[11:05] Speaker 1: like he can dance? Now? Really?
[11:07] Speaker 2: Did you see his tiktoks?
[11:08] Speaker 3: I wonder if they saw their tiktoks? His tiktoks were
[11:11] Speaker 3: like not like the other ones. Yeah, you know, I
[11:17] Speaker 3: think he was less of a dancer than anyone. But
[11:21] Speaker 3: I felt like she was being so mean when she
[11:24] Speaker 3: was teaching him, Like, if someone talks to me like that,
[11:26] Speaker 3: I'll walk right out.
[11:27] Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that this is that's an interesting take
[11:32] Speaker 1: because I think that I think that she's Russian, she
[11:35] Speaker 1: or some sort of Baltic situation, and I feel like
[11:38] Speaker 1: they're very stern. Like I know that my wife was
[11:41] Speaker 1: taught by Ukrainian dance teachers for ballet, and she was like,
[11:46] Speaker 1: they are rigid, they are serious, they are mean, and
[11:49] Speaker 1: I imagine that she's got like a little bit of
[11:51] Speaker 1: that in her.
[11:53] Speaker 3: So at one point in my life, that's how you
[11:56] Speaker 3: could have talked to me and I would have learned.
[11:58] Speaker 3: But now I'm going to be triggered and I'm going
[12:01] Speaker 3: to be nasty.
[12:02] Speaker 1: Yeah, And.
[12:04] Speaker 3: The other teachers weren't speaking to their students like this.
[12:08] Speaker 3: I noticed the other teachers were very complimentary. They're like, no,
[12:11] Speaker 3: you got this, you could do this. She was rough,
[12:14] Speaker 3: and here's where she was smart. She was teaching the
[12:20] Speaker 3: dance instead of teaching the posture and spending time on
[12:23] Speaker 3: the fundamental things that we teach, and like that's what.
[12:29] Speaker 2: Nina was doing.
[12:30] Speaker 3: Like Nina was worried about posture and things like that,
[12:32] Speaker 3: but never worried about teaching him the dance, and then
[12:35] Speaker 3: you didn't have time for mistakes.
[12:37] Speaker 2: You have two days to teach these people something.
[12:39] Speaker 1: Yeah, this is Selena's first time teaching a quick step.
[12:43] Speaker 1: Jeremy loves show stopping moments and he used to doing
[12:47] Speaker 1: lifts and tricks. He's a big guy who's very.
[12:49] Speaker 2: Ch I saw what the he picked up a whole
[12:52] Speaker 2: wheelchair chair, Yeah, and spun it around.
[12:55] Speaker 1: He's strong, I know, and you know he wants to
[12:58] Speaker 1: be able to do that, but unfortunately, I think I
[13:00] Speaker 1: don't think the dance really kind of allows you to
[13:02] Speaker 1: do that. But she kind of like says like, yeah,
[13:06] Speaker 1: let's throw something in.
[13:07] Speaker 2: Listen. That almost cost her the dance, the spot. She's
[13:11] Speaker 2: so lucky. If Nina did it go so bad that
[13:17] Speaker 2: she would have been the one to go.
[13:19] Speaker 1: Jeremy the partner, because he was so gagarious and enigmatic
[13:25] Speaker 1: and like fun to watch. I feel like that was
[13:28] Speaker 1: what tipped the scales for Selena not going home in
[13:31] Speaker 1: comparison to Nina.
[13:33] Speaker 2: But you know what, though Jay was so cute.
[13:36] Speaker 1: I know he was.
[13:37] Speaker 2: He was so cute too. He was just as just
[13:39] Speaker 2: as adorable.
[13:41] Speaker 1: Yeah, Alan's been teaching for many years so this is
[13:45] Speaker 1: kind of easy for him. He wants to keep the
[13:47] Speaker 1: routine simple so that Zara's dance skills can shine, which
[13:50] Speaker 1: they did. They did absolutely. Bailey notices that AJ's teaching
[13:54] Speaker 1: style is very fast. She has minimal dance experience from
[13:57] Speaker 1: her drill team, but she has no ballroom experience.
[14:01] Speaker 2: Well, she still has something more than I do.
[14:05] Speaker 1: Absolutely. What did you think about AJ's teaching style?
[14:10] Speaker 2: I think it was good.
[14:11] Speaker 3: I think it was I think that he gave her
[14:18] Speaker 3: a lot of confidence. He spoke very nice to her.
[14:21] Speaker 3: He didn't worry about the little things so much. Yeah,
[14:25] Speaker 3: and it showed because the people that were really worried
[14:29] Speaker 3: about that almost didn't do so great.
[14:33] Speaker 1: Here's my question to you, what do you think that
[14:36] Speaker 1: they're looking for more with their dancer. Do you think
[14:40] Speaker 1: they're looking for someone who's a really really good dancer
[14:44] Speaker 1: or do you think they're looking for someone who's really
[14:46] Speaker 1: really good at teaching people how to dance?
[14:49] Speaker 2: Well? Both, I don't think.
[14:51] Speaker 3: I think that the people here are such amazing dancers.
[14:55] Speaker 3: They're the best, and like do I want to say
[14:58] Speaker 3: the world I don't know, But you have to be
[15:02] Speaker 3: if you're in this, you have to be good just
[15:06] Speaker 3: as good at every single thing you're doing. Yeah, every
[15:09] Speaker 3: single dance, every single thing. There's no room to not
[15:14] Speaker 3: be good at something here.
[15:15] Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, Nina's kind of the weak link here.
[15:20] Speaker 1: She places a large emphasis on the form of Jay
[15:24] Speaker 1: and their foxtrot, and she even you know, puts like
[15:27] Speaker 1: blocks on his elbows. She like fixes his posture with
[15:32] Speaker 1: like a rope.
[15:33] Speaker 3: This is where being a teacher and being taught something
[15:37] Speaker 3: hurts you, you know how like when you go somewhere
[15:40] Speaker 3: and they're like, we don't want you to know how
[15:43] Speaker 3: to do it, we want to teach you from the
[15:45] Speaker 3: like just from the ground up.
[15:47] Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's easier.
[15:49] Speaker 3: I think being a teacher hurt her here because she
[15:52] Speaker 3: was so worried about what she was, how she was
[15:54] Speaker 3: taught to teach, or how she typically taught when when
[15:58] Speaker 3: she's doing that with her students, she doesn't all have
[16:00] Speaker 3: two days to make them a dancer.
[16:02] Speaker 1: Yeah. I think that her issue came with time management.
[16:05] Speaker 1: If they had a week to do, then yeah, great,
[16:07] Speaker 1: let's go over posture to make sure you know the
[16:09] Speaker 1: lines are correct and everything. But if you only have
[16:11] Speaker 1: two days, you got to learn choreo, right.
[16:15] Speaker 3: Which was Adele's thing. That was the biggest. That's what
[16:19] Speaker 3: Adele did.
[16:20] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[16:21] Speaker 3: Uh.
[16:21] Speaker 1: Back at the house, the five contestants talk about their
[16:23] Speaker 1: days and how rehearsals are going. Alan says that Zara
[16:27] Speaker 1: was able to pick up the choreo in forty five minutes.
[16:30] Speaker 1: Nina realizes that she was so focused on Jay's posture
[16:33] Speaker 1: that they are a little bit behind. You can see
[16:36] Speaker 1: it in her face.
[16:37] Speaker 2: So tell me, did you think they were going to
[16:39] Speaker 2: lose at this point?
[16:40] Speaker 1: Yeah, one hundred percent, you did.
[16:42] Speaker 2: It was so early to tell.
[16:44] Speaker 1: I mean, could us.
[16:45] Speaker 2: Turn that around?
[16:46] Speaker 1: It was going to be one of two things. Either
[16:48] Speaker 1: it was going to be a bad situation or it
[16:51] Speaker 1: was a misdirect to make you think it's her and
[16:55] Speaker 1: then it's going to be somebody else. But it did
[16:58] Speaker 1: seem in that moment that she was so much further
[17:01] Speaker 1: behind than everybody else.
[17:04] Speaker 2: Yeah, it did. They did kind of show that.
[17:07] Speaker 1: You could see it on her face of like oh shit, I.
[17:10] Speaker 2: Well she says it, She's like I'm behind.
[17:13] Speaker 1: Yeah. Day two rehearsals, Whitney, Shirley, and Mark observe each
[17:18] Speaker 1: of the dancers. Adele and Anthony. Shirley immediately notices that
[17:21] Speaker 1: Adele is a no nonsense partner, so she kind of
[17:25] Speaker 1: sees what you saw.
[17:26] Speaker 2: She's just noticing that now.
[17:28] Speaker 1: Yeah. Whitney notes that Adele has given Anthony a lot
[17:32] Speaker 1: of steps and she thinks she's trying to prove something.
[17:36] Speaker 2: Well she is, she's serious.
[17:38] Speaker 1: Yeah, but yeah, I would I would hope that she's
[17:42] Speaker 1: only giving him that many steps because she thinks that
[17:45] Speaker 1: he can do it. You know, I would hate that
[17:47] Speaker 1: if if I was in that situation, that they put
[17:49] Speaker 1: me in a bad situation just because you want to
[17:52] Speaker 1: prove something, not because you think I could do it, right,
[17:55] Speaker 1: you know.
[17:56] Speaker 3: Yeah, No, no, like listen, uh, I don't know that
[18:01] Speaker 3: she taught he could do it.
[18:03] Speaker 2: I think it's just she was being a tough teacher.
[18:08] Speaker 1: Yeah, AJ and Bailey. AJ is trying to block out
[18:13] Speaker 1: the judges completely pretending that they aren't even there surely
[18:16] Speaker 1: and which which is good. It's very smart. That's got
[18:19] Speaker 1: to be very stressful, like to have someone just.
[18:22] Speaker 3: That's like when Bramo shows up to one of your
[18:24] Speaker 3: scenes when you know the big bosses are there, You're like.
[18:28] Speaker 1: Oh, like does Andy show up?
[18:31] Speaker 3: Sometimes not Andy, it would be the other bosses show
[18:34] Speaker 3: up to it all cast e ed, you better perform,
[18:39] Speaker 3: They better leave there going, Oh we got a show.
[18:41] Speaker 1: Yeah. The judges were very impressed with AJ's teaching style.
[18:47] Speaker 1: He's very very clear with his instructions to Bailey. I
[18:52] Speaker 1: think AJ would be a really good pro after me.
[18:55] Speaker 2: Yeah, what makes you think AJ's not going to win?
[18:57] Speaker 1: I used to think it was Allan's because he's had
[19:00] Speaker 1: a lot of really strong dances, But now I think
[19:02] Speaker 1: it might be. I think it might. What I think
[19:04] Speaker 1: is gonna happen is I think that Adele and AJ
[19:07] Speaker 1: might be the two winners.
[19:09] Speaker 2: You still think there'll be two?
[19:11] Speaker 1: I do. I think that's good TV. That's what I
[19:13] Speaker 1: would do if I was a producer. Okay, it's a
[19:16] Speaker 1: big misdirect of like, you know, Adele, you're the winner,
[19:21] Speaker 1: but guess what so are you? Aj? Like that would
[19:24] Speaker 1: be yeah, that would be fun to well, I mean
[19:27] Speaker 1: I would have I would appreciate that.
[19:28] Speaker 2: I don't know, did you imagine that kind of a feeling?
[19:31] Speaker 3: Oh?
[19:31] Speaker 1: I know, Well, losing and then winning that's great TV.
[19:36] Speaker 1: Alan and Zara Whatney can tell that Alan has a
[19:40] Speaker 1: really good background in teaching. She thinks their routine looks solid,
[19:45] Speaker 1: so she wants him to amp up the details Selena
[19:48] Speaker 1: and Jeremy. You have Selena feeling like an underdog because
[19:53] Speaker 1: she's the only one who doesn't have experienced teaching ballroom,
[19:56] Speaker 1: and she's also so much smaller than what.
[19:59] Speaker 2: About Well Belle didn't have experience teaching either.
[20:02] Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true Nina and Jay. Whitney points out that
[20:06] Speaker 1: Nina should be cleaning up the routine by now, she
[20:09] Speaker 1: shouldn't still be teaching the choreography. She was right, She
[20:13] Speaker 1: was very very right. I really enjoyed this night before
[20:24] Speaker 1: the performance thing when Whitney came and talked with all
[20:29] Speaker 1: the social media influencers. I thought this was a fun
[20:31] Speaker 1: wrinkle and gave you.
[20:33] Speaker 2: They asked about their confidence, Yes.
[20:37] Speaker 1: Because you got to think confidence is you know, especially
[20:40] Speaker 1: in show business and especially like stage dancing and stuff.
[20:43] Speaker 1: Confidence is everything I know. So yeah, it was. It
[20:47] Speaker 1: was really cool to have her sit down and ask
[20:50] Speaker 1: the all the social media influencers what they thought.
[20:53] Speaker 3: I wasn't surprised that Anthony didn't feel confident because he's
[20:57] Speaker 3: getting ripped every day all day.
[21:00] Speaker 1: Yeah, and Jeremy felt pretty good. He had like a
[21:02] Speaker 1: seven and a half.
[21:04] Speaker 2: He did go on there feeling confident.
[21:06] Speaker 1: I think that he's a confident person. Like just from
[21:10] Speaker 1: the few moments I saw of him on TV, he
[21:12] Speaker 1: seems like someone who carries himself with a lot of confidence.
[21:15] Speaker 3: He's cute, he's silly, he's like a puppy, he doesn't care.
[21:19] Speaker 3: He's happy to making tiktoks with his sister.
[21:22] Speaker 1: So let's go through what they all said. So you know,
[21:24] Speaker 1: Whitney asked them to close their eyes and hold up
[21:26] Speaker 1: a number to represent how good they're feeling, ten being
[21:28] Speaker 1: the most confident, in one being the least. Bailey went
[21:31] Speaker 1: with five, Jeremy went with eight, Anthony went with four,
[21:34] Speaker 1: Jay went with five, and Zara went with seven point five.
[21:39] Speaker 1: Whinny points out that four is really really low for Anthony.
[21:42] Speaker 1: At this point, are you thinking that maybe Anthony and
[21:45] Speaker 1: Adele will be going home?
[21:47] Speaker 3: I did not no, because she was a real stickler
[21:52] Speaker 3: about how she was teaching him. And when I realized
[21:55] Speaker 3: that Nino was spending too much time on I guess,
[21:58] Speaker 3: like the fundamentals, I want to go for a dance lesson.
[22:01] Speaker 3: I want someone to tell me just I don't know.
[22:04] Speaker 3: I'm fifty five.
[22:05] Speaker 2: I don't have time to learn how to be a dancer.
[22:07] Speaker 3: Just teach me the dance, yeah, and we'll work on
[22:11] Speaker 3: the other stuff later.
[22:12] Speaker 2: But let me know the dance and then tweak me.
[22:16] Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, show night. It's always interesting to see
[22:22] Speaker 1: what the order they go in. Nina and Jay come
[22:24] Speaker 1: out first. They're the ones that we're most concerned with,
[22:27] Speaker 1: because Nina really didn't show Jay the choreo until the
[22:31] Speaker 1: second day. They do the fox trot.
[22:34] Speaker 2: He didn't miss on the steps, they just didn't have
[22:36] Speaker 2: a lot of steps.
[22:37] Speaker 1: Yeah, surely notices some posture elements that were lacking. She
[22:40] Speaker 1: even pulls out some tiny ballroom shoes to show the
[22:43] Speaker 1: proper foot.
[22:43] Speaker 2: The way you should stand.
[22:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, she had those this entire time. I need,
[22:48] Speaker 1: I want, I want props more often from Shirley.
[22:51] Speaker 2: I mean she should.
[22:52] Speaker 3: You know who she reminds me of every time I
[22:54] Speaker 3: look at her, the Ukrainian teacher in john Wick.
[22:58] Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know you're talking.
[23:02] Speaker 2: Yeah, like that reminds me of her.
[23:04] Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah. Adele and Anthony goes second. They're doing
[23:08] Speaker 1: a tango. Mark was impressed with the dance and was
[23:10] Speaker 1: impressed with Adele's no nonsense teaching. Whitney was super impressed
[23:15] Speaker 1: with Anthony's dancing abilities as well as Adele's teaching skills
[23:20] Speaker 1: that you know, she corrects him kind of mid dance
[23:23] Speaker 1: because he got she slowed him down.
[23:25] Speaker 3: Yeah, and they said that's the sign of a real professional.
[23:29] Speaker 2: And you might be right by the end of.
[23:30] Speaker 3: This, she like, you wouldn't know she was like slowing
[23:34] Speaker 3: him down unless we were told, right.
[23:35] Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, it seemed like to me, I was like,
[23:38] Speaker 1: that's part of the dance, and then.
[23:39] Speaker 2: That's what I thought.
[23:40] Speaker 1: Yeah, AJ and Bailey they do the waltz. Whitney tells
[23:45] Speaker 1: Aj she would have loved an emotional moment in the
[23:49] Speaker 1: dance somewhere. Mark could tell that Bailey felt comfortable with Aj,
[23:52] Speaker 1: which is very important for a teacher, and surely thought
[23:55] Speaker 1: that what Aj did in the last two days was
[23:58] Speaker 1: amazing and calls him a star. Is he now like
[24:02] Speaker 1: the leader in the clubhouse when it comes to at
[24:04] Speaker 1: least the guide dancers.
[24:06] Speaker 3: Well, I feel like when she says it, it means something.
[24:09] Speaker 1: I know, right, her words carry more weight than I
[24:13] Speaker 1: think her son's or whoever the guest judge is.
[24:16] Speaker 3: I feel like that too, and I just think it's
[24:19] Speaker 3: out of pure experience and age and you know, like
[24:23] Speaker 3: a wise person.
[24:25] Speaker 1: Yeah, and also you know, this was the first episode
[24:29] Speaker 1: where Surely and Mark don't fight, which made me sad.
[24:33] Speaker 1: I want that every episode. I like when they fight.
[24:37] Speaker 3: I like when they fight too, and I love that
[24:39] Speaker 3: we know why they fight.
[24:41] Speaker 2: That's mother and son.
[24:43] Speaker 3: So like what I was looking at when I saw them,
[24:46] Speaker 3: I'm like, you know, say they're in the kitchen to
[24:48] Speaker 3: have a little talk, like does he just bust out
[24:50] Speaker 3: her dance? And then just they get in a fight
[24:52] Speaker 3: over whether or not he did it right?
[24:55] Speaker 2: Like what goes on? What went on in that house
[24:57] Speaker 2: growing up? I want to out.
[24:59] Speaker 1: Yeah, Like they're in the kid making a sandwich and
[25:01] Speaker 1: she like critiques him about how much mayonnaise he's putting.
[25:07] Speaker 1: Alan and Zara do the waltz. Surely love it. She
[25:11] Speaker 1: tells Alan just needs to tighten up the basics and
[25:14] Speaker 1: then he'll be a force to be reckoned with. Whitney
[25:16] Speaker 1: gives Alan props for building up Zara's confidence, and then
[25:20] Speaker 1: the last dance is Selena and Jeremany. They do the
[25:24] Speaker 1: quick step. Whitney tells Jeremy that he lit up the room.
[25:28] Speaker 1: Whitney tells Selena it was lacking some quick step content.
[25:32] Speaker 1: Though Mark felt like it needed to move around the
[25:35] Speaker 1: floor more and surely wanted the character of the quick step,
[25:39] Speaker 1: she didn't necessarily see it in the dance. This is
[25:42] Speaker 1: a thing that like, I'm amazed that they haven't figured
[25:45] Speaker 1: this out yet, which is, you need to stick to
[25:47] Speaker 1: the brief.
[25:49] Speaker 3: Right and like I said, if it comes out great, amazing. Yeah,
[25:52] Speaker 3: it's a risky move to not stick to the brief.
[25:55] Speaker 1: I think that there is a little bit of blame
[25:57] Speaker 1: to be put on Jeremy shoulders for that, because he
[26:00] Speaker 1: really wanted to do something else. And I think that
[26:03] Speaker 1: Selena was trying to kind of acquiesce to his desires
[26:07] Speaker 1: to be able to throw her around or spin her.
[26:10] Speaker 3: I felt like she was trying to acquiesce to what
[26:14] Speaker 3: he was able to do. Good, yeah, which is not
[26:20] Speaker 3: the point of a great teacher. But the fact that
[26:23] Speaker 3: they had two days to get this right. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
[26:27] Speaker 3: so exaggerate what they're good at.
[26:30] Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. The two dancers that are in jeopardy are
[26:33] Speaker 1: Nina and Selena. This didn't surprise you.
[26:36] Speaker 2: Did it?
[26:37] Speaker 1: No?
[26:37] Speaker 2: I was able to tell right now, And to be
[26:41] Speaker 2: honest with.
[26:42] Speaker 1: You, I think that Nina knew as well. I think
[26:44] Speaker 1: I could read it on.
[26:45] Speaker 3: Her Shade didn't know she did? She took it well,
[26:48] Speaker 3: she did. Jay felt so bad? Did you see? Could
[26:52] Speaker 3: you not read the look on their faces? They get
[26:55] Speaker 3: one of them were own home, like my partner might
[26:57] Speaker 3: go home because of me?
[26:59] Speaker 1: Yeah? Oh, I know. Yeah. For the social media influencers,
[27:02] Speaker 1: that's got to be heartbreaking for them. It was also
[27:05] Speaker 1: seemed like it was heartbreaking for the other dancers, like
[27:09] Speaker 1: the pros, because I think at this point, everyone's so
[27:14] Speaker 1: good that like anyone can go home, you know. I
[27:18] Speaker 1: think Nina, even though she has been kind of on
[27:23] Speaker 1: shaky ground in previous episodes, I think she's a really,
[27:26] Speaker 1: really strong dancer, and I think everyone's really surprised that
[27:29] Speaker 1: she was the one who went home. That's the end
[27:31] Speaker 1: of episode six. Well, who do you think is gonna win?
[27:36] Speaker 2: Who do I think is gonna win? I don't know.
[27:38] Speaker 3: It's between Adele and Alan, I think, yeah, right now,
[27:46] Speaker 3: that's how I feel.
[27:47] Speaker 1: Yeah, right, I got Adele Allan maybe AJ.
[27:53] Speaker 2: He's good, but I lose him sometimes.
[27:57] Speaker 1: Yeah. I thought he just showed that he's really good
[28:01] Speaker 1: at the thing that you need to be good at Yes,
[28:03] Speaker 1: which is teaching. So anyways, I am excited to see
[28:09] Speaker 1: how this whole thing shakes out.
[28:11] Speaker 3: Adele was just because her her client did well doesn't
[28:15] Speaker 3: mean she's a good teacher.
[28:16] Speaker 2: I didn't think she was great. Yeah to mean, sorry,
[28:19] Speaker 2: I'm talking about your buddy, but.
[28:21] Speaker 1: She tell my buddy. I just I just think she's
[28:23] Speaker 1: going to win well, and don't want to be right.
[28:28] Speaker 2: I feel like Alan's going to win.
[28:32] Speaker 1: You do who? Well, you know what's going to happen
[28:35] Speaker 1: is that they're both going to win.
[28:37] Speaker 2: You're still stuck on that there's going to be two winners.
[28:40] Speaker 2: I don't know that. I don't know.
[28:42] Speaker 1: I don't know, But we want to know what you
[28:43] Speaker 1: guys think out there. Hit us up on social media

[29:01] Speaker 2: theories already and it didn't even start.

[29:17] Speaker 2: I feel like it's going to be a hard game.
[29:19] Speaker 2: They're going to make it hard.
[29:20] Speaker 3: I feel the people coming in have spent more time
[29:23] Speaker 3: studying the game shows and how to win. Because they
[29:28] Speaker 3: have more time, They're not like crazy like us. Sometimes,
[29:31] Speaker 3: you know, they have different lifestyles. Like I went in
[29:35] Speaker 3: there never even knowing what the hell I was doing.
[29:38] Speaker 1: I wants the show on the plane, that's all.
[29:43] Speaker 2: Right, Like they gave me a burger phone.
[29:45] Speaker 3: I got to watch like episodes on the way in
[29:47] Speaker 3: so well, I was stuck in my hotel room. But
[29:51] Speaker 3: these are people. I feel like they're dangerous.
[29:56] Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's real killers. I think it's gonna
[29:59] Speaker 1: be a really fun season, and I think it'll do
[30:02] Speaker 1: really well and it'll prove that you don't really need
[30:04] Speaker 1: celebrities in the castle.
[30:06] Speaker 2: Yeah, do you need one to come back?
[30:09] Speaker 1: That would be Yeah, they need to have an all
[30:11] Speaker 1: star season. Yeah, Dolores, have a lovely rest of your day.
[30:17] Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to the vet and pick up this
[30:20] Speaker 1: dog that owes me four thousand dollars.
[30:22] Speaker 3: That dog owes you four thousand dollars for real?
[30:27] Speaker 2: Well, don't you better pick him or her her? What's
[30:31] Speaker 2: her name?
[30:32] Speaker 1: Boo?
[30:33] Speaker 2: I had a dog named Boo.
[30:35] Speaker 3: Really yeah, the best, one of the best. Yeah, so
[30:40] Speaker 3: Boo Boo's in trouble.
[30:43] Speaker 1: He is in trouble, and no more chocolate for her. Okay,
[30:47] Speaker 1: all right, all you faithful and traders out there, thanks
